Ashley Store Tacoma, WA

Purchased a table from Ashley store in Tacoma with promised delivery of 7 days 21st of Febuary .... no delivery ..no call ..nothing attempted to call store ..nothing . Went to store and found out table was not available with estimated earliest delivery 6 months away. I requested cancelation and refund ...today is March 2nd and still no refund $711.00 . Which includes a $100.00 delivery fee. I would highly recommend NOT buying anything or dealing with ASHLEY furniture !!!

I ordered some furniture from Ashley spent alot of money and was disappointed and upset because the day of my delivery they brought me the wrong color of chairs wasn’t the the color that I ordered in the store I called customer service to talk to them and got disconnected what a hassle I was not happy with the service. 😠🙁☹️

Knowledgeable and was able to schedule delivery right away

Bought a couch over the phone in January (sales person was great) but then got a call a month later saying my payment never went through and I had to make the payment again. I told them I paid for it and got confirmation of the payment & I could see it on my bank statement. They told me it’s not showing on their end and asked would I like to take care of the unpaid bill? I said no, I already paid it. They gave me an ultimatum either I drive 1hr to their store with proof or they would take it corporate… I asked them to look into it again and maybe talk to the sales person. They refused, and it could only be resolved with me showing proof… Finally they gave me the option to email proof, which I did. I called them back after, only to find out it was an internal error on their part (some kind of paperwork on their end wasn’t submitted properly). I’m not sure I’ll do business with them again.

My husband and I decide last minute to go furniture shopping. We were tired and not Looking our best. We went to a couple of stores with no luck. When we walked into Ashley’s I felt comfortable right away. We did walk past a couple of employees who did not address us. However as soon as Maurice saw us he approached and asked if we needed help. He was extremely helpful. He asked us our needs, took us to the area we needed and stayed with us, yet giving us space to make decisions. He explained the warranty, delivery dates etc leaving no unanswered questions. I am excited about my purchase.

My husband and I were in need of a new bed, mattress, and several other furniture pieces. We had purchased our entertainment unit and couch from the Tacoma location within the last 3 years and were very happy with our experience, so we decided to return for our next purchase. We were helped by Toni and Eddie, and let me just say that we were incredibly impressed with the plethora of knowledge that Eddie had regarding each mattress from the very beginning! He asked all the right questions, most of which had never crossed my mind that made all the difference, and they had us test certain mattresses specifically based solely off our answers. He thought of every detail to match us with something within our budget and needs. He was mighty friendly and honest which was a breath of fresh air! After we found the perfect mattress and bed frame, Toni was kind and patient enough to help answer the remaining questions I had regarding nightstands, rugs, and several other pieces of furniture. She answered every single question and even assisted with measurements so I could better visualize how certain things would look in size. She was very easy to talk to and work with! she and Eddie stayed with us until we were absolutely satisfied with everything we had picked out and every question had been addressed. Eddie also worked with our budget and then some! Everything they did for us was deeply appreciated! We even found a coffee table at the very end we fell in love with and got a great deal thanks to our reps! Finally, Cathi over in the financing area was a delight to speak with. She even reminded us that we still had a warranty on our couch that we had previously purchased a few years back. She was very kind and friendly as well. I have already recommended a few friends and family to this Ashley’s location based off another amazing experience! Overall, what makes for an extraordinary experience all lies in the representatives you get and how they choose to assist the customer. We were not followed, pressured, or rushed during our time there. We were VERY happy with Toni and Eddie and thank them for their brilliant customer service!

Our shopping experience was great. We were greeted promptly. When we told the store representative what we were looking for, they explained the store layout and invited us to browse. They then cicled back and led us around while fielding our questions. We eventually purchased a rug and the process was efficient. A very pleasurable experience.

This is hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I ordered a couch around December 7th with an original delivery date of January 27th. That date was later changed to February 10th, which I reluctantly accepted. A week before delivery, I received a confirmation text from the chatbot “Jenny” stating the couch would be delivered on February 10, 2026, and requiring me to select a delivery time because someone had to be present to sign. I took a full day off work specifically for this delivery. The delivery window came and went with absolutely nothing—no couch, no call, no message. When I contacted customer service, I was casually informed that the delivery had been pushed yet again, this time to February 21, 2026, without any notification to me. The agent I spoke with was completely clueless and offered zero accountability or solutions. At this point, even a chatbot would have been more helpful. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. I will never shop at Ashley again—not even for free. This entire experience has been a complete waste of my time and a textbook example of how not to treat customers.

I needed to purchase a new loveseat and went to Ashley. They had what I wanted and the Sales person was very efficient and had us out of the store in a very short time. The day of the delivery was very good also. I will do business with Ashley when I need to make a furniture purchase again.

Candace at Ashley helped my husband and I find our new bed. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the beds. I mentioned we both suffer from back pain and I suffer from sciatica. She helped us find the perfect bed that felt great for both my husband and I. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. She made buying a new bed, low stress and fun! Our bed gets here Thursday and I can not wait! Thank you, Candace!

Our salesperson Dionna was so helpful! I already spotted what I wanted online, and she took me straight to where we needed to go to check out the furniture. She explained the delivery process well, suggested additional coverage and provided suggestions for hauling our old sectional. She was great!

I love Ashley furniture, purchase my first sofa 10 years ago and I had to go back to find a new treasure. I bought a updated version of my beloved leather sofa. Thank you Ashley's for helping me choose the right sofa for my family.

No custom furniture. What you see is what they have. personally i had a card that could have paid for what I wanted. Ps, the lady that I spoke with seemed high. Just saying. Slow to answer and had to think hard about what I was saying. I told her I wanted something lighter and she pointed to a chocolate color couch.

1/20/26 Tacoma Mall location. I Bought a dining set and was given a delivery date 1/31/26. Paid $99 for delivery! I told the sales agent Jaelyn O’Brien that I might be able to get a truck to pick it up. She told me I could call the 800 number and pick it up at the Spanaway location. Called the number and it’s not even in stock until February 3!! Poor sales/customer service!!!

I went looking for a mattress for a spare room. The first store I went to posted that they opened at 9:00am. As I walked in, one salesman said they weren’t open, he check, it was 9:05. Another salesman yelled across the store that they weren’t open yet. I left. Stoped at Ashley’s, they opened at 10:00, it was 9:50. I wasn’t waiting around but I heard this knocking and turned around. Two sales people waved for me to come in. They unlocked the door and took good care of me. I ordered my mattress from , Evan Thank you, I’ll be back!

Our sales rep was incredibly polite with all the important details. She was patient while I took in all the information (huge selection) and processed and walked all over comparing. Happy with our sales price and excited to get the couch and ottoman. To no fault of the sales rep, the delivery time is 2 months out, that was a big downer - but it's just what we had to accept. So no review yet on delivery and set up.

After three visits to the store, finally chose my new living room furniture. Took a bit to get the price match from online, didn't give me a military discount, got doorstep delivery free tho. Doesn't seem to be any continuity between sales people. One says this, another says can't do that. Curious on how delivery will go because I have heard horror stories about shipping delays from many.......

A company that does not care about their customers. I have purchased from Ashley’s for many years. I recently went in store to purchase a couch with a salesman. I paid almost $6,500 and this was to include set up and delivery. On the delivery day, the driver wanted to leave my chute couch outside in the rain and stated they were not insured to come in my home. I reached out to my sales rep who let me know a manager would be calling me and get someone out to my home asap to bring in and set up my couch. This was a month ago. I was also told I would get a refund of the $400 I paid for the service I did not get. Well to date I have heard nothing from Ashley’s. So today I went in the store to get it resolved and the staff in the store was rude and dismissive. They told me it was not their problem and the sales person no longer works there. They did not even apologize. I asked for contact information for a manager and was told no. I will never shop with Ashley’s again.

Buying my chair was easy. Getting it delivered was a different thing. And the phone service was almost as bad as Xfinity. I ended up cancelling my order. Won't buy from them again.

This is the first time I’ve ever left a bad review, but I was pretty disappointed with my overall experience leading up to receiving my couch. The whole process was frustrating and left a bad taste in my mouth because the information I was given was very inconsistent. I was given different pickup dates. When I called to confirm, I was told the pickup was scheduled for a later date than what we had originally discussed. I then tried to adjust the pickup, which thankfully they were able to do, but I was told the person picking it up for me needed to be added to my account in person. I had previously been told they only needed the order number. I asked the store again to double-check, I was still given the wrong information compared to what the warehouse told me. On top of that, one of the pickup dates I was given ended apparently being on a day the warehouse was actually closed. I was told they are closed Sunday and Monday. The warehouse doesn’t even have its hours posted, so there was no way for me to know unless I was looking in the wrong place. Overall, the situation caused a lot of confusion and unnecessary delays, and it genuinely made me consider canceling my order. The actual pickup went smoothly once everything was finally sorted out, and I do love the couch, which is why I’m leaving 2 stars instead of 1. The lady who sold me the couch definitely did her best to try and make it right but the process leading up to it definitely needs improvement.

“Aloe like the plant” (Alvaro) was a GREAT help when we went in to purchase a new mattress! Great customer service, very knowledgeable and fun to talk to! We will be looking for him again once the holidays are over to continue getting what we need for a room makeover!

We had a very good experience with Ashley. Purchased a dinning room table, with 6 chairs. Our delivery was on time and the crew did a very professional job putting the table together. The only suggestion would be for the crew to carry a portable vacuum to clean up some of the little packing material that was left over. We had to do that.

refund does not work

The purchase remained me of buying a used car. Took over an hour and salesman had to talk with his manager twice.

Picking it up went flawless. Issues were scheduling pickup. Had a pickup date on my paperwork for a date that landed on a Monday. Called Ashley on the phone to answer a couple questions told them I was headed to pick up items from the warehouse. The person I talked with never mentioned the warehouse is closed on Mondays. Drive out there to find it's closed . Took the warehouse number off the door and spoke with them the next day. Asked are they open black Friday,they said yes. Scheduld for that day. The day I was going to pick it up I get a text saying if im still picking up the next day????? I called and told them I had scheduled the pickup for today. They then helped me to pick it up that day

Sales agent was very helpful and courteous but took a long time to finally pay due to technical issues store was having. Added additional 30-40 minutes of wait time.

I have purchased a few things there and I’m satisfied with every step of the way.

I have been to every Ashley furniture in the south sound area. I was looking for a particular dining set and could not find it anywhere at a reasonable price. Then I contacted Ashley in Tacoma and Evan and Alissa were not only extremely friendly and professional but found exactly what I wanted at a fantastic price. Ashley Tacoma really went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied and I’m so excited about my new living and dining room sets! Thank you so much Evan and Alissa!

The worst customer service experience. I’ve spent months trying to get help with a mattress return mistake made by Ashley’s delivery team, and no one from the Tacoma store or customer service has followed through despite my repeated calls and emails. Extremely disappointed and I’ll be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as this has been on-going since July 2025 and it is now November 2025.

We went directly to the store in Tacoma to select the furniture we wanted. We ordered two end tables and a coffee table. The two end tables were delivered within a week, however we were informed the coffee table was on backorder. Though a little disappointed, we are willing to wait. Communication has been satisfactory and our sales person was helpful.

My husband and I went this store to see some dinning chairs. We didn’t buy a furniture at this Ashley’s because we had such a bad experience it made especially me feel very uncomfortable. We had our dog with us. He wasn’t a service dog or anything but he is like my emotional service dog. When we entered the store, there were a bunch of unoccupied staff who just gathered together chatting each other. I started looking around along with my dog while my husband went to restroom. Several of the staff saw me and started giving dirty looks to me and my dog. No one approached to me asking if I needed help or mention that dog is not allowed in the store. They just kept giving this hostile stare. My husband returned and we went upstairs to look more, then I noticed a security guy followed us sitting right behind us. I told my husband something’s off about it. We moved to another section, there this guy again followed us looking right at us. We weren’t sure what was going on. No one came to us explain what was going on. They just kept making us feel extremely uncomfortable and watching us like we were about to do something suspicious. When we came downstairs, the “unoccupied” staffs were still giving us looks without saying anything. We would not go back to this store again. The sales people were very unprofessional and not welcoming. Bad customer service.

I was told by the salesperson in store, since I was purchasing in-store. My furniture would be delivered assembled. Versus purchasing online where a lot of times you would have to build your own furniture. Imagine my surprise when I'm waiting for the delivery person to deliver my furniture, only to have the delivery person hand me, one completed chair and a box that has been opened with an uncomplete chair for me to assemble myself. I can't help but feel, that either. The person didn't feel like assembling the other chair, or you could have just delivered them both unassembled. But more than anything I was just lied to. I do not recommend shipping or buying furniture from them. Their furniture is manufactured in Vietnam. Same as what you can get at Best buy, same as a lot of what you can get at Walmart. It's right there on the chair when you assemble it.

I had a terrible experience at the Tacoma store. While Jacob in the store provided good service, he entered my email incorrectly, resulting in me never receiving my receipt. I had opted for an email version, but it never arrived. When I returned home later, I tried to contact the store, only to be left on hold for over 10 minutes before being hung up on. When I called back, I spoke with a girl named Candace, who was incredibly rude. She claimed that my receipt had been sent, but when I asked her to verify my email, she refused because she had logged out of my account and hung up on me. I tried calling back again, but she hung up on me once more. She refused to let me speak to a manager or any other person to get assistance and gain my receipt. Fortunately, I managed to reach the Tukwila store, where a very kind woman helped me realize that my email was incorrect. She corrected it and resent my receipt. I would strongly advise against visiting the Tacoma store. They are completely unprofessional and rude, and I felt like crying after spending over $2000 on a purchase that I had no receipt for.

Absolutely never again will purchase from Ashley. I bought a couch and loveseat set and dining room set, spent over 3k at this store. Table has had nothing but issues from the start. Paint consistently chips and peels. I had them come out and repair it when it was first set up and now again. Problem now is they sent a tech who did nothing to repair told me to go through extend now extend says no it is Ashleys problem because it is still under 1 year manufacturer warranty. Back and forth between Ashley and extend zero answers. Horrible customer service. Very clear that they don't care about customer satisfaction or the people they sell product too.

I will NEVER spend my money with this store again. I have bought furniture sets, chairs, and other pieces from here in the past. Last couple of experiences have left me with a bad experience. The most recent experience with Lacy the sales rep and the store manager, Kathy, who NEVER follows up, or has followed up with me. I wanted to redeem the certificate I was provided when I first bought a furniture set. I never submitted any claim during the entire time, so I'm supposed to be able to redeem the certificate. Well Montage is no longer the company they use, so that needed to be verified and she was supposed to be working on this and I've been told a few times now that she will call me back. It never happened. I called Montage myself and they said they can confirm a claim was never filed. But that they can't send me anything in writing and the store can call them. I called the store back afterwards and she was off that day and I spoke with someone else who took the message with phone numbers and instructions on what I needed her to do. And still no follow up. IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO HONOR YOU'RE CERTIFICATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEN DON'T SELL IT AND OFFER THAT AS AN INCENTIVE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! BECAUSE IT'S FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I was going to spend well behind the small amount of the certificate, but instead I will not be giving Ashley another penny.

Nice sales person but ended up being charged twice so now have to go back Friday to have charge reversed. Couch won't be delivered til October 1st.

The manger at Tacoma store is not trained to be lead her leadership clearly shows in her store. Her staff exhibit little knowledge and demonstrates an attitude of don’t care. Don’t ever shop there again worst customer sv I experienced. They got my invoices all screwed up. Poor quality furniture. It’s my first time in an Ashley store and was very well organized. I was immediately helped by Evan who showed me to the exact item I was looking for online and gave me rundowns of sales and services offered! I appreciated the knowledge to answer every question I had and wonderful customer service! Will come back in the future for some of these awesome displays.

Only giving one star because you have to.... I will NEVER purchase anything from this store (Tacoma) or any other Ashley store again and will never reccomend them to anyone, I bought furniture from them with a warranty that was not cheap. When I had an issue with my couch they would not fix it stating that no one else has had the issue so it isn't a warranty. I tired for months to get someone to tell me why it wasn't covered and finally after multiple phone calls being on hold transferred and all the things I was told that because I moved my warranty was no good. SInce when does a warranty on furniture stop you from being able to move? NEVER again will I buy or step foot into one of theses stores

In the past I have gotten many furniture prices here with no issue. I went in here last sun and picked out a bedroom set found out that I had to reapply for my Concordia credit which I dont know why. Buy I did was approved. But then somehow the sales person entered my information wrong and the transaction was then denied by them and they said it cant be fixed and id have to reapply in 60 days which has now led to a denial on my credit report and a loss of 30 points on my credit score. This all was after I also paid over 500 dollars on a credit card for the delivery and tax. I was assured that I would be getting a refund in a few days it has been 9 and I still dont have a refund I called customer service and they said only the store can look into it I called the store and the lady told me she was new and not really sure but to give it a few more days. Are you kidding me why does Noone know what they are doing or how to give me my money back. Ill be calling my credit card today and going to the bbb.

The layout was nice and Evan who helped us was awesome, however we found a rug and were expecting to take it home with us, yet when we went to go pay, they slapped on a $99.99 delivery fee without even asking if we wanted delivery or not. We live 5 minutes away, I didn’t need to waste $100 for a delivery

I made a sectional purchase last year at Ashley and wanted to add 2 extensions this year. I worked with an individual online that in general seem to work well but response was slower than I hoped. So when I walked into the store in Tacoma and dealt with the sales agent he was exceedingly helpful and move quickly to assist.

Maurice was awesome. He helped us find the right piece within our budget and household dimensions. Highly recommend!

I have purchased furniture from Ashley a few times and today I found out that they are ripping off the military/retired members. This company offers some discount, but what I learned is that the furniture store on base offer the same product better price, I'm not talking about a few dollars I found the same product I bought at the furniture store for 600 dollars less. I called to see if they would match price or give refund. You guess it all sale are final so I won't be returning to the store and will recommend to any military members to stay away from furniture store, AAFES offers the same product at a better price.

I came in needing new bedroom furniture. I found one that I liked and purchased the purchase went smoothly and the sales person was nice. The delivery team did great delivering on time August 6th however the screws to my bed frame were lost in the process. August 8th I got a call saying a delivery person was at my door to finish assembling my bed. Keep in mind I was never made aware that they were going to be there August 8th and I was already at work. After that I made a few calls and they confirmed I was never informed and apologized for that. I then called back August 12th to set a new delivery date after. While on the phone I was told that they did not have an order in their system and they had to make a new one. They told me it would take 7-10 business days that worked for me because I was going out of the state for work right after that so the timeline still worked. I was told I would get a confirmation email to reschedule a delivery date and finish putting my bed frame together. It has been more than 10 business days still no confirmation email no delivery of my screws and my mattress is still sitting on the floor with my bed frame off to the side. I’m already out of state and today I finally had some time off. I called the customer service first and I was told it’ll be till the beginning of September and not given a specific date. I then proceeded to call the store I was put on hold for over 30 minutes. After that I hung up called back the lady on the phone said she was new put me on hold to talk to the manager 15 minutes later they just hung up. I called back requested to speak to Alisa and she has been the only helpful person. It is now August 29th and no one from the store has reached out.

We were online looking for a new dinning room set and found an Ashley set we really liked. We went to an Ashley store nearby to look at the real thing before deciding whether to purchase. The in store price was quite a bit higher than the competitor's price we found online. I showed the add to the sales person we were working with and upon showing the add to their manager the sale was approved at the competitor’s price. Delivery and set-up was arranged at very reasonable price. The furniture was delivered and set up 2 days after the purchase. We are very pleased with; the dinning room set, the sales experience and prompt delivery and set-up.

I purchased my dining table from the Tacoma Ashley store in March 2025. When I asked about a warranty, the sales rep reassured me the table was sturdy and only suggested getting a warranty for the chairs. When the table was assembled, I noticed a small bump but overlooked it. A few months later, the paint started chipping in multiple areas (we only clean with gentle products, no chemicals). The warranty department did send two technicians, but the same areas began chipping again within days. I was told to contact the store directly. Since then, I’ve called at least five times and each time I was promised a manager would call me back. I have never received a return call. The customer service has been terrible—no help, no accountability, and no follow-up. It feels like we were sold a defective table from the beginning. This is a scam on interest charges I paid this company almost 4000$ for furniture that didn’t even last a year the wood started to mold. I closed my account and finally made another payment of 1900$ just to turn around and have been charged another 24$ for interest because I paid off the loan early! I am very disappointed in the services the unlisted charges and the rude customer service employees that don’t care about the customers experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Since we moved here and because we had lost a lot of our furniture in hurricane Ian in ‘22, we have furnished two rooms and bought recliners at Ashley furniture! I have bought a couple pieces of furniture from Ashley over the years, an entertainment center and multiple recliners. I will never go back again, their prices aren't good and when you actually try to use the warranty you buy through them to fix their low quality product, they give you an absolute run around almost making it impossible to use. We've had a powered recliner that has had the motor out for 2 months now and have made very little progress in getting it fixed because Ashley hasn't sent over the required information to the warranty company. Stay away people and definitely don't buy their stupid warranties.

My experience with Evan was great! My intentions was just to window shop and before I knew it, I walked out With a complete bedroom set and Living room set. Thanks to Evan’s great customer service and patient he helped me make decisions I didn’t think I was ready to make. Best customer service I had in a while!

This whole situation started off as a waste of time because of that virtual assistant that you guys have. It is worthless and it needs to be disposed of. I contacted a real person at the store with the evidence that they needed, and the problem was solved immediately. If this was dependent on that virtual assistant, I would not be able to get my chair taken care of before Friday the 25th. That is totally unacceptable. Ashley furniture company needs to take a look at this and get rid of that virtual assistant. The problem that we had was resolved, and that deserved a higher rank in scoring.

Great customer service but the people in white coats were a bit intense. Felt like they were trained to follow you around after you asked a question that only they could answer. Hard to make decisions and speak freely when they are on top of you waiting for the decision. They also need to be less obviously disappointed when a customer finds a less expensive option. Almost felt like the white coat folks might be ruining possible sales for the regular sales person, who might I add, knew when to pop over and check in with us to see if we needed anything in very appropriate intervals. I'm not sure if positions are paid by commission or hourly or both. While I believe they should be getting paid a living wage that wasn't based on someone like me paying their bills because I bought furniture from them this week, I also don't like the idea of someone paying the price of their coworker either being unhelpful and not pulling their own weight or overbearing and intense to the customers. Just my observations. The selection was great and prices were in line with the others we visited such as Mor and jR. They all boasted better prices than the other and they were all basically the same. Can someone tell me when mattresses started costing more than 2 mortgage payments!!?? Crazy!!

We had a great experience shopping at Ashley furniture store. The staff were very helpful and attentive with their customers. Lacey, the staff who assisted us in Tacoma mall store, was very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. It was a wonderful experience shopping at their store.

This was my first and certainly last time buying from Ashley. Do NOT have items delivered without a tech present. Our package was dropped off without signature or any delivery tracking info, despite being told otherwise. We received a coffee table with major dents and scratches. I then spent 4 weeks totaling nearly 8 hours of phone calls with different automated chat bots and customer services departments, including the store, trying to process a refund. Nearly 4 weeks from delivery of product, I am told they cannot process a refund. If you value your time, do not purchase from Ashley without them assembling it.

Quick and easy purchase . We knew what we were looking for and they Price matched from another store. The only downer was it wasn’t in stock but we were able to pickup at warehouse. The sales staff at the store was great to work with as well as those at the warehouse.

We purchased our bed on 4/29 with a delivery date of 5/23. It was then postponed to 5/29, and again to 6/3. Now is 6/6 but we won't be available on that date so they bumped it out to the end of June. I've been offered a credit which has not been rreceived.The customer service has been horrible. I've not experienced such a terrible time trying to get help. This is unacceptable service and doubt I will every do business with Ashley again!!! Definitely will not recommend them.

Come on over and give him a try. They have many great products to choose from. There are also many different types of discounts, including Veterans. Relax/sleep well.

Poorest service ever. Product Didn’t get delivered on time, and there was no update from the company about the delay. Really frustrating. Because when I was trying to call them, the customer service did not even reply after multiple calls and I did not even get a call back. Got my product, finally, after three attempts, and it was broken in all the attempts. Refund initiated wasn’t even bare minimum. Not gonna buy again.

When someone comes in and then they tell you multiple times that they are just browsing due to not going to purchase anything today you should just let them be. I know he wants to make a commission he could have went to someone else that was in there because I felt like I couldn’t browse in piece. Then trying to sell me on a bed even though I said I have a really nice bed that is worth it and I shouldn’t of have to explain why but then he was trying to say more about theirs and sell me on one and I had to tell them I invested in my bed from mattress firm before he was like oh okay but next time you should have came here like I’ll go where I want. Then going downstairs I felt like I couldn’t leave without him trying to show/sell me some more couches before I could left. I went down the street where I was about to look at couches In peace and the worker only coming up to me a couple times to make sure I was okay. As much I was looking to get a couch here I don’t think I’m going to come back or anything

Worst experience, WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE, WORST REFUND POLICY. They need proper and well educated training about customer services. I placed order in March and didn’t received it yet. Called 20 times but no proper communication. Deliver four times broken furniture, few time delay in delivery but no on call or text me about this. Only one word they said “WE DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS, WE DO NOT HAVE ANY UPDATE”. Went to store , met manager 5 times . No update on his hands just wastage of time keep saying same thing I will do something. Lady called one day we will compensate 20% of total order and now they calling me we have no proof that we said that? SO MEANS NO COMPENSATION AND STILL WAITING FOR MY FURNITURE. CLEARLY INDICATES THAT WAS LIE to make customer fool. It’s been almost two months , still waiting for my furniture and they don’t compensate at all. Would not recommend anyone to go otherwise you would REGRET. WORST EXPERIENCE/SERVICE POOR COMMUNICATION

Everything was smooth and went fairly quickly. I had already been researching what I wanted. Aloe assisted us and wasn't pushy or annoying. He have us time to walk around the store and check out some other options. He took time to ask relevant questions so we could get the best price possible. He provided excellent customer service and made sure we felt like the most important people there. Overall, it was a great experience because for some reason that doesn't happen anymore when you physically go into showrooms. Thanks so much Aloe! 2 weeks later. Do not use their delivery service it's bullshit. I just got scammed out of my money. Also when the delivery drivers got here they attempted to scam me out of more money saying I need to pay them, cost of the dump and thru cashapp. Are you serious! I will never shop here again!!! 😒

DON'T BUY FROM ASHLEY. ESPECIALLY DONT BUY THEIR WARRANTY. I bought multiple items from ashley furniture about a year ago. Two bed sets, two identical mattresses, and a couch. One of the mattresses came much firmer than the other one. So noticeable that it became a fight between the kids on who got the comfortable bed. Reached out to Ashley warranty (had to call the store directly to get any help since the warranty line is abysmal. Just a robot that runs you in circles til you get tired of it and hang up.) Ashley finally set someone out about a month later. The guy pressed on it with his hands and came up with some bullcrap excuse why it's normal to have two identical mattresses with one being comfy and one being as hard as a rock. Refused to do anything about it. Ended up having to pay more money for a mattress topper to make the incredibly uncomfortable bed, at least a little manageable. Exactly what you want when buying new furniture. I started to reach out a few months later about my couch cushions constantly falling off, one of which obviously doesn't fit correctly, one cushion has velcro to keep it in place and none of the others do. The couch is constantly falling apart. It took calling the store to get someone out to take a look. Low and behold, it's the same guy. He took 15ish minutes to look at my couch, tell me that couches aren't made with a way to keep the couch cushions on the couch anymore. "Velcro damages the bottom of the fabric," "clips damage the corners," etc. I asked him why one cushion had velcro if couches are no longer made with velcro, since it damages the bottom of the fabric. He didn't have an answer. They won't be honoring their cushion warranty. (Surprise) They won't be doing anything to help or make it better. His only advice was to take the cushion covers off and rotate my cushions. Just what you wanna hear with your couch that's less than a year old and looks janky as hell. Overall, I'm incredibly unsatisfied. I'll be telling all my friends, family, and neighbors about the scam that is Ashley furnitures warranty. Ashley furniture steals your money while calling it a warranty that they never intend to uphold. 0/10 service 0/10 customer service 0/10 customer satisfaction 0/10 helpfulness 0/10 communication 0/10 warranty Not a good value for money. Not worth the headache. The products seem to be made and shipped out without a human ever checking them over. Oh and my favorite part is my experience with the delivery guys. When they arrived with my couch, the delivery guy tried to scam me too. He said, "Well there's an extra fee for going upstairs. But I'll keep it a secret if you tip me." I immediately called Ashley and double checked that when I bought the delivery option, that one stairway was included. (Which it was. Up to 3 flights of stairs included at no extra fee) It made me incredibly uncomfortable to be alone with the two men trying to scam me out of more money. OVERALL, BY YOUR COUCH ANYWHERE BUT HERE. DONT BUY THE WARRANTY. GO TO COSTCO INSTEAD.

The salesman promised free disposal of our old sofa without mentioning it's from various organizations and not guaranteed, he also got the address wrong address and when I went in to get it corrected it took the representatives 30+ minutes to change the address. And after getting home and comparing we realized the delivery fee was free if you bring it inside yourself, that wasn't explained that way. We canceled the order and are waiting for confirmation of the cancelation so we can order online.

Ordering in store went pretty smoothly. I made two separate orders to be able to get my couch earlier by delivery than my ottoman, just for my couch to get delayed by a week and still will have to pick up my ottoman from the warehouse that same day. Customer service stated they can not change delivery methods. Who likes to be inconvenienced when spending thousands. Got rid of my old furniture since they don't do removal and now waiting to see when it actually arrives.

This has been the worst customer service experience, i paid 1800 dollars for a new dining table and received the wrong bench. Ive gone in person now three times-which is a 45 minute drive to get this problem fixed where the sales agent admitted he had ordered the wrong bench. TWO MONTHS LATER we have not received anything, and getting communication out of them is an act of congress. I have been the only one jumping through hoops to get what I rightfully paid for. I will never shop with them again.

The only problem I had was the delivery guys spoke very little English so I couldn't ask them questions about their assembly of my chair. I am pretty arthritic so I can't really get down on the floor and inspect much.

Went to Ashley home store to look for a loveseat and rug in Tacoma WA. The sales Rep Lacie was very helpful in helping us do that so quickly too! She said our delivery was 1 March which was in 3 days and our rug would be shipped around the 5th. We received the rug the day before our delivery! The delivery went well this morning and we are very happy with our purchase. Highly recommend them!

Bed frame center support broke under warranty sent wrong parts first time. Went to store. Store manager sent request for emergency. Two weeks later still no contact, it’s been 6 weeks still no fix. even the store manager cannot help. I’d say don’t buy from Ashley furniture. I’ve had two issues now with them. One time I bought a whole entertainment system and they deliver with a big piece missing and say it’ll come tomorrow. These delivery drivers weren’t supposed to say that Ashley said I had to buy that piece when I already did, I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get what I ordered around the holiday season too. Also, your protection warranties doesn’t cover pets urinating on them apparently despite that being a big concern with having any furniture. And Ashley doesn’t help you you have to file a claim on a different website and that website told me to possibly call the manufacturer which I didn’t know was an option cause Ashley didn’t tell me that. They can be rude on the phone and just not helpful so safe to say I’m not buying more furniture from them and if anyone’s curious I’d be cautious.

I bought a king-size mattress with its bed frame and another mattress. I hadn’t planned on buying the second mattress, but when I asked if they could haul away my old one if I purchased a new one, the agent assured me, ‘Yes, Ashley can do that.’ However, when the items were delivered, the driver refused to take the old mattress and was even rude. I called the representative who assisted us with our order, and he confirmed that they were supposed to pick it up. Our order was delivered on December 27th, and that was when I spoke with them again. They promised to arrange the pickup, but the agent never called us back.

Picking the furniture out was fine. Getting it delivered is a nightmare. They say one thing but the delivery people are awful.

It was very easy to decide what we needed. Everything was laid out in a manner that didn’t cause any confusing overlap. Evan was extremely friendly and helpful and helped us find what we were looking for quickly.

We thought that we had a great experience and then it all went down hill. Customer service in store was stellar. Ordering furniture was easy and efficient. Unfortunately, fees were added on without being discussed. Just assured we were getting a “good deal.” We tried to cancel 2 items on our order the same day that we ordered them and were told it was cancelled and we would get a refund within 5-7 days. Did not happen. Called again and they said they had no idea that we can cancelled anything. We still haven’t received any refunds and a table just arrived at our house that we cancelled twice. We have attempted to call the store 7 times and it’s always too busy or the call center can’t get through. The two times I did get through, the phone conveniently disconnected when we asked about our order. Will not be shopping there again and it’s unfortunate because I thought it was going to be a great purchase.

So many ideas! We were able to choose what we came for, but now we want to come back and browse to make our space better. Mo, our associate, was professional and yet personal in helping us with our styling choices, and even salespeople not involved in our choices were smiling and helpful. We now have a new store for home fashion ideas.

Would have gotten five stars but I told them i had a Cali King Adjustable base they gave me a king size memory foam mattress and I didn’t want to wait the extra two weeks for another mattress so I just kept the mattress.

This is the worst store I have ever been to. I would never shop with this company ever again. We asked and asked about the extended warranty, and they assured us that no matter where we go in the USA we are covered. Well, 2 years down the road and we are no longer in WA State but a new state. I called to get my bed fixed, and they told me since I am no longer in WA State the warranty does not cover me. ¿Excuse me? I asked and even asked the manager and they both told me I was covered. This company is THE WORST in my eyes, overpriced crap that does not even last 2 years. I would NOT recommend Ashley's to any SOLDIER or even civilians for that matter. Keep your hard earn money and go with a company that can last and not rip you off. As a soldier I am highly disappointed in this nasty company and will NEVER shop here ever again. If I could I would give a -5 stars that's how terrible this company is. BUYER Beware!!!!!

This is our second experience at Ashley Furniture Store in Tacoma and we highly recommend this store. We were looking for a sectional sofa in other furniture stores, but here we found the most suitable one for our family. The customer service was excellent. Our salesman who extremely helped us was Maurice, he was very friendly, understanding and patient with all of our questions. Great experience again!

If you plan to buy furniture, expect to get the runaround every time you call to get your furniture picked up. When you go to pick up your furniture they make it extremely difficult. They do not tell you that they close in the middle of the day for a full hour. I do not recommend buying from this company. It's not worth the time and hassle plus the ridiculously expensive cost to get it delivered.

The customer service was great. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and was promptly assisted throughout the store in making my purchase. Overall, the experience was quick and easy.

I bought a new couch there, nothing too fancy, but it's nice. The salesman was great and the price wasn't bad.

We came in to get a coffee table and left buying 3 more items. Prices were very reasonable. Lacie who helped us (in Tacoma) was very sweet and not at all pushy. We appreciated that!!

My husband and I went in to purchase an ottoman for the couch we have. We found it and purchased though it had to be shipped to our house. I saw a couch when we walked in and out of curiosity sat down on it. After talking with our salesman we decided to cancel the ottoman purchase and just get a new sectional that would better suit our family. We did all the paperwork and financing and I was assured more than once the ottoman purchase would be cancelled the next morning. Lo and behold we were charged and the ottoman was delivered. Now we are stuck with loading this up and driving 30 mins to return it which involves crossing a bridge for $7 plus gas and all because they did not cancel the order while we were in the store and requested. I am displeased by this and don’t know that I will buy from Ashely’s again. The customer service is lacking when they make mistakes.

Tried to just purchase 2 pillows that were on sale. Took about 30 min and 3 signatures not to mention I had to leave my address and phone number. If the pillows weren’t $9.99 each there is absolutely no way I’m wasting my time.

We were looking for a pretty particular couch to fit our new home. Our great experience started off when Evan helped us in the store. He checked in with us and showed us what we wanted to see. He was there when we needed him and in the background when we were going back and forth to decide exactly what we wanted. It was the perfect balance. He was observant and noticed which couches we liked and showed us the differences. Once we decided which couch we wanted he gave us some input on which color would work best in our space. He was so helpful! Then the day the couch was delivered was so easy. Lots of confirmations through text and email so you wouldn't forget. I loved the call when they were 5 minutes away. The guys who brought in and set up the couch were quick and careful. Overall this was a fantastic experience and we will use Ashley again for our furniture needs!

Really great customer service. The one who helped us was a man named Edgar and he was really polite, knowledgeable of what he was doing. And overall everyone there were a great staff to us. I definitely recommend Edgar to help you to get your couches.

Would be lovely if literally anyone would answer the phone. We’re having an issue with our GBS insurance claim and getting our replacement. We were told specially to contact the store and yet here we are, zero people capable of reaching a singular person within the building. How fortunate.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. We've been trying to get ahold of someone at the store for over 2 hours with a warranty claim. Even Ashely customer service cant get ahold of this store. PS. If you buy from here and get the warranty, be prepared for a hard time, especially if you moved out of state.

I came in after weeks of looking for a couch and found the perfect one on sale. The charge amount was higher than what was advertised and they adjusted the amount to match the lower advertised amount no problem. Scheduled deliver for the following week and they showed up on the day at the scheduled time. It was tricky getting the couch in because of the patio angles (I’m on the 2nd floor of an apartment) and they got it in, unscathed, set it up and it’s perfect. It’s been a month and have had zero issues. Very happy with my purchase and service. The only negative is how many text message I got to leave a review. :)

Good experience. We had visited this store before and felt like the person who helped us was pushy and very much like a car salesman. This time I believe his name was Thai.. helped us and he was great. He set everything up for us quickly because we knew what we wanted and it was an easy process!

TL:DR - under-informed customer service, services paid for but not rendered, delays in delivery. I purchased a bed and asked specifically if the delivery team would be able to assemble it for me. The salesperson assured me they would and that charge was added. The delivery was scheduled for a week later. I received a call two days before telling me it was going to be later, two weeks out. I got two more of these calls. The bed was not delivered until more than a month from when it was promised. A day before delivery, I got a voicemail from the store telling me the bed was not going to be assembled by the delivery persons, it was a customer assembly item. I called back and asked to speak with the person who'd called me. The customer service person didn't know the name and assured me it would be assembled for me. I called a second time because I was concerned about putting a whole bed together. This agent was quite short with me. The delivery next day confirmed that I was expected to put the bed together on my own. "Don't worry. Tools are included." I want to mention - there were two boxes, one about 4 ft long weighing 35 lbs, the other about 7 ft long weighing 85 lbs. Since the notice was so short, I didn't have the opportunity to call anyone to assist me. I spoke to a third customer service person who was quite kind and also concerned. She asked me to call the store directly. I spoke to the person who had left the voicemail and she assured me she had talked to the salesperson. After I mentioned the charge, she refunded it. It was a huge hassle, and their offshore customer service was mainly not helpful since they were reading scripts and not able to find the information I needed. Between the messed up delivery date, not getting service I needed and had paid for, surly custom service folks and spending 6 hours assembling a bed, I'm confident I won't be buying from Ashley again.

“Upside down” Evan was great. Really some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. I stopped in essentially killing time and came back for a recliner I didn’t necessarily need but decided I couldn’t live without and that was largely because of the diligent and excellent customer service by Evan. UPDATE: as happy as I was with the customer service in the store and professional as the delivery team was, the communication with Ashley leading up to the delivery was beyond bad and created challenges with the delivery process that was no fault of the delivery team.

Buyer Beware! My dining room furniture came as a mismatched set…that is when I was first told that if purchase from the store ( not online) they don’t do exchanges or refunds. After sending them pictures corporate told them to make an allowance. I have a recorded message from Emily that on September 21 they credited my account however it is October 4th and no credit. When you call this (Tacoma) store you get a virtual assistant Every Time. I have called about 10 times and the Virtual Assistant says they never take calls, the Tacoma Store never answers her calls! Today we are going to the store, if we get no results we are going to the Better Business Bureau. Save yourself the stress and headache and shop elsewhere!

I went in pretty grumpy because I was not planning to get a new sofa, but Thai was so friendly and helpful, he made it feel less like this chore and expense I didn't want and more about an opportunity to look at my space differently. Changed my weekend around for sure!

I ordered a sofa more than a month ago. It was delivered the first time, and it was stained. I refused delivery, which was one of my options. I had to wait 27 days for a new delivery, with cancellations along the way. The sofa was delivered today completely wrapped, and it was in worse than used condition. Once they sell you an item, everything is handled by customer service in India. The store doesn't answer phone calls. I have to have to customer service in India send them an email at the store to return my call. This was my first purchase from Ashley and will be my last. You will absolutely get what you paid for, and even worse, in my case, you will get what I got.... twice. These were the only pictures that I got, as they very quickly wrapped it back up to take away. Edit #1 I emailed as instructed in the business response requesting a refund. They responded with “I want to assure you that we have processed a replacement for your sofa. A specialist will be in touch with you within this week or next week to provide further assistance and updates.” What?!?! First, I asked for a refund. Second, this week or next?!?!? These people are delusional. I responded again clarifying I wanted a refund and they are ghosting me. Last edit: no one contacted me again, but I did receive my refund. Thankfully I didn’t accept delivery despite them pressuring me to do so. They really wanted me to accept and they would get a technician to fix it. I wouldn’t have been in a position to get my money back had I done so.

Words cannot describe how much I appreciate my new Temper-Pedic Bed. It all started with a warm welcome from Adriana when I entered the store. My original plan was to get a stool for my bathroom. She got right on it and showed me all of the options available. After seeing most of the furniture In the downstairs level I stepped away from the stool idea and focused on the most important thing of all, sleep. Once I mentioned to Adriana about my aches and pains when I sleep, She immediately expressed to me that my sleeping situation is more common than not and showed sympathy to my comment. She told me about how her routine used to be and how her old mattress left her feeling the same. After my expression she didn’t just proceed to show me the stores wide variety of the different options and say get this like a salesperson would, no she really expressed true emotion to my situation that touched my heart and I’ll remember that. She’s someone you can really open up with and that energy I gotta say is not seen very much these days. After a couple minutes of chat she asked if I wanted to look at the selection upstairs and see if they had something I would like. After a scan of the bed’s visually it came to the part to try one out for myself. When I did and laid down on the first bed of choice I immediately fell in love with it. I could almost have fell asleep in that moment. She didn’t even have to ask how I sleep, from the way I laid down I think she knew I was a back sleeper. She asked about my pillow situation and I have to say I don’t have the best pillows for comfort. She let me try a few pillows out and unbelievably my neck felt supported the way it is supposed to feel. I thought things through a while and by golly after seeing the great deal on the bed and frame I had my mind made up. She made my financing a breeze and answered all my questions with inelegance and honesty. I made my final decision to pick up my bed by the am the next day for it was getting late. This idea could not have gone any better than it did. The next morning I was greeted by two new fellow's, Evan and Jacob. Both very friendly off the start and kind. Once mentioned why I was there they got right on to helping me with things. I made my way over to the front desk where I noticed a familiar face. Her name is Cathi. A very kind person who made the final steps of my purchase fly like the wind sends a kite spiraling upwards on a windy day at the beach. Knowing myself I couldn’t just stand and watch as these young gents moving my bed and I offered them a lending hand. As much as they made my experience easy I did my part to come prepared. I brought a mattress protector and straps so it wouldn’t get dirty or go flying out of my truck on the highway. Both Evan, Jacob Cathi and Adriana were patient and helpful when I asked question's. Never would I have thought moving a bed was that tedious and at times it was, especially a bed that requires some strength to move and thought. They assisted me in the right ways showing care to my vehicle and logic behind there actions when loading it. What more is there to say but thank these kind people for their actions and contribution to what matters most for us all, our comfort and health in our day to day life. Thank you Tacoma Team, yall Rock!

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Very poor experience with Ashley. Unlike any other furniture store I've been to, they have a no return policy that is not disclosed or displayed in the store (I imagine this is to keep people from walking right out). Old Cannery and Buddy's Furniture both offer returns within a short period of time and a refund as long as your items are still in good condition. Heck, every online mattress provider has a 90 day satisfaction guarantee or money back policy. Ashley sold me a piece of furniture that does not properly function and won't even hear me out even though the customer service agent told me there was a 72 hour return window. If I had been told there was no returns, I would have just left. So I've now lost $1000 to Ashley Home Furniture and am stuck with this chair. I also need to say, this wasn't a clearance or liquidation item which would have been understandable. No, this was an item still currently offered in stores. I implore you, take your money elsewhere. Ashley is deceitful and you can find better quality at similar prices at a number of local competitors. Again, tremendously disappointed by the item and the service Ashley offered. I contacted them within 24 hours of taking it from the warehouse.

I needed an updated futon for my smaller space apartment. I was able to speak with Thai and he not only helped me find a futon that was perfect measurements for my tiny home, but also one that is so comfortable my children would rather sleep on the futon than their beds. I have never had such a pleasant and hassle free experience purchasing anything before. From a super busy mom who has minimal time on her plate- Thai and Ashley store made my purchase quick, easy, and provided exactly what I wanted and needed. Lied to about the product they sold me and tried to over charge me after the lady said it would included in my bed frame. Worst furniture experience I had.

Do not waste your time or money on this store. They cannot fulfill orders on the models they sell in store. The office manager Emily has lied to us on multiple occasions and cannot figure out how to follow up with customers for the life of her. The Regional Director does not care about customers or he would have reached out to us after various escalation requests. We ordered a bedroom set on May 6 with expectations for delivery at the end of June. They reset the expectation 3 different times that they would deliver our stuff and they simply never showed up (after we missed work to be there for each delivery!!!!). Then, they said they would do a partial delivery, and after sleeping on our floor for months with clothes on the ground, we finally canceled the order. 4 months of our time wasted and over $3,000 held hostage to keep this terrible business afloat. It would go a long way if they had better and also accurate communications. But they do not actually care about their customers. Shop elsewhere!

I purchased an entire set of furniture for my apartment from this location. Jacob and Edgar were very helpful and pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to come back and purchase more furniture from them in the future.

Buyer beware with any products purchased from Ashley. Customer service is horrible. No one will call to tell you some of your items will not be delivered, didn't find out until they were here to deliver. Set another delivery date that they provided and get a call 2 hours before delivery that it not on the truck to be delivered. I missed time for work! Only compensation was half of the delivery charge. I hate it here.

Ordered a corner sleeper sofa and 4 dining chairs. I kept getting back ordered and re scheduled deliveries and I have not received any of my items, Its been about a month a half I no sign of my sofa or dining chairs. Horrible delivery service. Do not let people order furnisher if you know you don’t have the items available.

In store experience was great. However my items will be delivered later than expected and I'm unable to call the store because the number takes you straight to the virtual assistant during regular hours. The Virtual assistant isn't helpful at all. At this point will just cancel everything and go elsewhere.

Adriana was incredibly helpful! She was extremely friendly and made the process of having to pick out all my furniture for my apartment FUN! She was super understanding, patient and gave sound advice. When I’m in here again, I’m DEFINITELY going to ask for her!

I wish I was warned prior to purchasing our bedroom set from Ashley Furniture. I would NOT recommend it based on our experience. We bought furniture on May 6 with expectations for delivery at the end of June. They pushed it out, now a partial delivery, called us the day before, then they never showed up. Then they rescheduled for July 10... and never showed up. My husband has called multiple times and they now say it's delayed until August 20. Meanwhile, whoever sold us the couch is happily spending his commission without advocating for us in any way. The only options we're being given is to wait, or cancel. We are sleeping on the floor of our new house and will be doing so for 2 months due to the, dare I say, blatant lies around delivery expectations. Don't put yourself through this. Shop elsewhere.

Edgar and Eddie did a phenomenal job of making sure I got everything I needed at a cost I could afford. I felt very supported throughout the entire process. They were so patient and are just overall great people! Would gladly work with them again!

Purchased a sectional couch here with the warranty over a year ago. The pull handle and part that keeps section together broke and filed warranty claim over 8 months of and they still haven’t fixed it. They make it very difficult and time consuming to file any warranty claim and then “schedule” you but then never come. We paid over $400 for the warranty but they don’t even honor it.

They have a big variety of furniture, I got a recliner, I took my time choosing the right recliner, the salesman didn’t pressure me into buying it, he was very patient and polite, also answered all my questions, I would definitely go back to buy more furniture.

I ordered a bedroom set through Amazon before this one and most of it either was delivered by Fed Ex broken or it never arrived at all. So, I decided to go through Ashley’s and chose Starmore furniture brand and I LOVE IT!! It’s very sturdy, well made easier to assemble etc. I tried assembling the last broken bed frame from Amazon and it had like 31 pages of steps and Starmore had like 4 pages 🤣 crazy! Plus the material is very sturdy the last bed frame it was more expensive and made from cheap plywood type material I was shocked and disappointed! I don’t like the fact that Fed Ex is the ones delivering the furniture since all my last furniture was delivered by them broken, but since my furniture was sturdier it didn’t get damaged. Something for you to keep in mind is to make sure to read reviews, make sure there are lots of good written reviews on the products, and make sure what the furniture is made out of. I wish I would have read up more and not based my decision on my last furniture on 2 reviews. Take your time and find good quality furniture that will last a long time and not get damaged immediately.

Saw a swivel glider recliner chair we liked at Ashley but decided to shop around at other stores. Called Ashley and said we decided to get their chair. They told us one was coming into the store the next day. And it was the color we wanted. So they took our oder and payment over the phone. We felt lucky that the timing of our purchase coincided with the arrival of that particular chair. Ashley made it convenient so we didn't have to drive back to their store to make the purchase. Very happy customers here so far. Just have to wait 2 weeks for the delivery now.

Purchased a couch from this location, had to go back and pay twice because their credit card machine had an issue. Within a week of delivery it was showing unatural wear and tear. Made a claim, the show room couches didnt look old and worn after a month and associates told us they havent switched them out (we talked to 2 locations) sales associates had us make a claim and after being rescheduled and having to call multiple times, they finally came out, told us to shave and cut our couch. Sent us covers that do not match. We went in again, associates again said do not shave or cut the couch as it voids our warranty and sent the representative out again. He said he is the only one for our area and again to shave the couch. Have gone in and requested to talk to the manager multiple times, with no response. Terrible communication, wont honor a defective item and poor quality.

Went to buy a couch Tuesday 6/4 around 6pm and the sales associate messed up every step of the process, kept forgetting to grab certain documents as my questions kept reminding him to, would sit us down then tell us we need to move to a different part of the store, and kept putting in my information wrong and claimed he would fix it “later” which he never did. I had to contact the carrier to ensure my address was fixed. Even while I was filling out information he decided to just lay flat on the furniture unengaged on his phone. And the worst part of all they had convinced me to go with the financing option when I wanted to pay in full and ended up signing me up for a credit card I didn’t need or want without informing me. Only after I received the printed document he handed to me last minute (because I reminded him again) did I realize what he had done.

My husband and I went in to Ashleys to look at couches to replace our current couch. We had already looked at other places and got a different pre-approval for 0% interest program. A salesman Chidi had a memorial day promotion and said we could do a PRE approval. My husband put in minimal information and was PRE approved for $1,000 for the no interest program, which was great and covered the couch. the computer screen said PRE. my husband never accepted the approval. Chidi took the computer and started clicking around and 30 seconds later Chidi came back with a piece of paper, it turns out he had gone in and accepted the offer without my husband knowing. We didn't know until later, we still thought we had a PRE approval. We wanted quotes on the sofa with tax and payment plans so Chidi brought us a quote and had added on a $200 delivery fee that we told him we didn't need and a $200 warranty. We asked him if he could work out any deal for a paired loveseat and he acted like he could do some great deal then came back with $10.00 off. We couldn't justify buying the loveseat which was already only $40 cheaper than the sofa so declined the second chair. I read over the warranty and it had too many loopholes that essentially said we would be responsible for maintance, damages and cleaning anyways and online there are bad reviews about the warranty process. When we told Chidi that we didn't want the warranty and delivery his attitude completely changed, he started making snide comments about us removing the warranty and becoming pushy and kept walking away. We told him we wanted to get the sofa and were ready to go over paper work. He asked for my husbands ID and a credit card which was odd and my husband said no. We still had nit received paperwork, Chidi said he needed expiration dates from the ID and my husbands credit card? We asked why and he seemed annoyed (we have gone through financing before so this became increasingly odd and my husband is a finance manager and has been for 8 years so red flags were going off) He then wrote on a paper and walked us over to a computer and said he was ready to take a payment of roughly $70. We were confused because the whole time Chidi said that we were doing a 0 down 0 interest program. On the screen he had the entire payment ready and was trying to process it, my husband had to make him stop and told him that he wasn't paying anything until we had the contract in front of us and the deal and payment amounts and Chidi became More irritated and got a manager. The manager came over and was condescending and rude and started explaining to us "how financing works" we told him we understand how financing works and that what chidi told us is completely different from what he was now trying to do and that we weren't given any paperwork aside from one sheet of paper that said we were approved for the $1000 0% interest program. The manager then said we weren't approved for that program but one that had 34.99%. We told him no that's not what Chidi told us so we're confused about what they were even talking about and why they were trying to take payment without us even KNOWING that. They continued to be rude and essentially ignored what we were saying. My husband told them to cancel everything in front of him and we left. We got home and received an email that said we had accepted and been approved for a different bank then they had told us at the store. We called them and found out Chidi had signed up my husband for a CREDIT CARD through a third party for Ashley. We called the credit card company and explained the situation and that my husband didn't know why this account was open when he did not open it. They filed a complaint against or to Ashley and cancelled the account. We will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They were unprofessional and either had no idea what they were doing, or were intentionally shady to get a sale. They did not have us do a PRE approval but an actual approval and were dishonest and vague throughout the process.

We recently bought a reclining Love Seat from Ashley’s in Tacoma WA and we were helped by Jacob G. He was fantastic with selecting our Love Seat and purchase and delivery, we would work with Jacob and Ashley furniture again and highly recommended them.

We purchased an outdoor lounge set, the Silo point nuvella. To our dismay our puppy chewed up one of the cushions. Obviously this is no fault of ashley furniture, but what I don't understand is that ashley only sells replacement cushions for indoor furniture, not outdoor. I have been told their hands are tied and they can not help me at this point. I would encourage anyone buying outdoor furniture, to shop anywhere else but ashley.

Great experience at Ashley. Our salesman Chidi was very helpful, friendly and not at all pushy. Our couches were dilevery two days later, we were given a four hour window of 12-4, by 10 am it was narrowed to between 12-1, then we received a call 30 minutes before they arrived at 1215! Jose ( im pretty sure that was his name) and his team were great! Quick, careful and professional with the delivery. Very happy with the delivery and our experience! Oh and the furniture too!

This was my first visit to Ashley, and I was genuinely surprised about the great quality of options they have at low prices. The customer service was also good. The fella that helped us was knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. I will definitely be back again.

I had a really great experience ordering from Ashley Furniture Store in Tacoma over the phone actually. It was very smooth and they were willing to apply my coupons. I am very appreciative of their time and help! Highly recommend!

The sales staff at the store were very helpful and knowledgeable and that was a good experience. Unfortunately the outdoor furniture I selected and paid for was not able to be collected due to the glass on the table having been broken whilst staff were getting it ready for collection. Instead of making this situation right, the management indicated that since the table was no longer in stock, I should replace the table at my own expense at a discounted rate they decided on. In effect I would have paid twice for the table. They did offer to refund me in full. In the interest of excellent customer service, the manager ideally should have replaced the set at their expense and not been aggressive and belligerent and not interested in the reputation of the brand.

Very easy process. We knew what we were looking for so it was a very transaction. I've made purchases at this location before and I have no complaints.

My experience was horrible! While I was trying to decide on a table the sales rep was inattentive and not knowledgeable. They told me my table will be here within a week and scheduled a delivery. When the delivery date came, and I got no notifications and called the sales rep told me the table is on back order and she has no idea when it will be here. Just overall horrible customer service!!!

I purchased a coffee table set and large rug from this location and I love them. The staff is very helpful and so down to earth. Jacob was the sales associate that helped me also the customer service representatives Emily and Ila were also awesome to work with. I met the store manager Tanner super nice guy he definitely knows what he’s doing. Five stars all day!

ASHLEY Furniture has our money, and we DO NOT HAVE our new furniture!!! We made the time in our personal schedules to pick up our items on Tuesday 06FEB, changing our work schedule even, only to receive a call the day before, notifying us our items were not available in the warehouse. A new availability date of the 17th was given. They called on the 15th to tell us items wouldn’t be available for p/u on the 20th ??? We were perplexed- the 20th??? We call them to ask when was the 20th decided? We’re not available, nor are we willing to miss anymore work. We ask for the “pick up” option to be changed to complimentary “delivery”. Customer Serv Rep, submits our requests & states Warehouse/delivery will give us a callback. Five days later, on the 20th, heading out for work, our phone rings. We are told our items are available for pick up. We do not accept this. We review all of our delays/frustrations up to this point with this delivery rep. Rep says it looks like complimentary delivery can happen if we are available on the 23rd. We told them we had a very small window of availability for Friday. A few hours later another Delivery Rep calls to confirm acceptance of a Friday pick up !?! We said No! It’s a Delivery! We go through the time constraint issue with this rep & it is decided the date will have to be changed AGAIN! No more days in February work for either party involved, so Saturday 02MAR2024 is set. We get the “day before confirmation” call with a delivery time announced. GUESS WHAT?!? The morning of the delivery a call comes from ASHLEY, either our items have been damaged, OR they’re not available in the warehouse, the message states! Here it is a month later, ASHLEY Furniture STILL has our money and we the customer have nothing! The message states we can call them back if we want…

Bad quality of a sofa-bed that we purchased recently. It only have been used 4 times and the screws are coming out. I had to use bigger ones because the originals hare little. Really sad and mad at the same time.

Wow what great customer service. I came in to look at sleeper sofas and sectionals and dinette sets. My advisor Adriana was so knowledgeable and helpful. Even though they work in commission, she stayed engaged and helpful after finding out I needed to buy in another state. Good selection of furntiture. I went in looking for bedroom sets but found a great cabinet! The sales rep was the only one there so it took him some time to get to me. He was very nice and helpful though and the checkout process went pretty quick once he was able to get to me.

WANNA GIVE AN UPDATED: emailed back to that comment on this and they mailed parts to my old address and I tried to tell them not there anymore so now the people live there has to send those parts back! Plus they still can’t do anything to help us with damage! This furniture isn’t worth its price if it broke before a year of even having it!!! Please if military it’s not a place to go to since we pcs without option and they can’t help us after we pcs and furniture broke so easy!! They were no help! If your military stay away from them!! We moved due to being military and they can’t fix my furniture cause we moved to a different duty station awhile back. It’s ridiculous. Go somewheres that works with military families with warranty for furniture cause they don’t!

Started out great. Were more than happy taking my order. But now it's a hassle getting it actually delivered. Ordered over a month ago - expected it to take a while, not a big deal. Told me it would all arrive on Feb 1. Date approaching, get a delivery confirmation email or 02/07. Give them a call, apparently some of it is coming later and they will schedule half to come on the first and half to come on the 14. Also said I would get another confirmation email. Making plans with work to make sure I'm home when it's being delivered. Follow up call since I did not hear anything - apparently it's not coming that day at all now...no update on their end. The new day it all will arrive - already made plans and cannot specify what time NOT to come to make sure I'm there. Now have to schedule it even later. Very frustrating. We'll see if it actually comes that day or if I just make plans to be there and it does not show up...got a great deal though...

Just in case you buy something on sale in Washington state where it rains, Ashley will not use cheap seran wrap to protect your furniture from the elements. They literally thought I was going to pick up my furniture in the rain with nothing covering it! I returned the couch and went to Mor and they actually wrapped my couch! Never coming back to cheap Ashley furniture!

I bought bedroom set 2yrs ago from this location and $200 paid extra for furniture protection. I bought center table set too . By the time when we were there to buy they promised something else about furniture insurance and insisted us to buy but now I see problem with night stands and dressing table top wood started peeling off itself and I noticed headboard and footboard wood also cracking itself then I approached to insurance send them pics and explained everything it’s first time I was calling for furniture insurance and then they replied me back that your claim not approved it’s just wear and tear . You can fix this out of your pocket . Why I paid $200 extra then ? Please guys don’t buy furniture from them specially furniture protection they lied to you when you buy furniture and once you bought they don’t care . I want my money back or fix the problem.

Totally wasted our time. We bought a nice couch from the guy name Mike in December, he told us it was ready to ship and the delivery date was set on January 2nd. But it was delayed to the 9th without any proper explanation. The day before the 9th, we got the email to confirm the delivery & we even called them. But on the 9th, we called them to see what time they were coming, they told us it was delayed to the 23rd. We were frustrated. No phone calls or apologies about the delay. We had to call them. Every time. Also they didn’t sound like they cared, they seemed nice at the store, but now they got our money nothing else matters? We arranged the work schedule twice and got rid of the old couch in the living room. Now we have to wait 2 more weeks in the empty living room & rent a truck to pick it up by ourselves. Horrible experience. No communication skills. Very very disappointed.

DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE! they lie about delivery times, dimensions of products not in store, and their warranty does not cover ANYTHING other than frame damage. not worth the money, not worth the headache. these people are some of the worst on the planet. do not support unethical behavior.

Horrible experience from start to finish. When we walked into the showroom the sales reps kept walking away from us to help other people, we spent most of our time waiting for someone to come back with answers about product stock. Then we preped the space including moving furniture out of my kids rooms for their new beds and the delivery was cancelled an hour before due to part of a bed being out of stock. Called the store and the rep said she would look into it and call me back. She never did. So my kid slept on a mattress on the floor while we waited for the next delivery date which was 4 days out. This time they called to cancel an hour into the delivery window, for out of stock product even though I had called a few days before to confirm it was there. At this point I called the store and spoke with Tanner who was the only person that helped. He was able to reach out to the warehouse and get everything fixed. The "out of stock piece" was there the whole time. Should have gone with my gut and left the store when we were left standing there for 20 minutes.

Bought 6-7k worth of furniture from them. Everything was great, friendly, good atmosphere, and accommodating during the purchase. I noticed items I didn’t purchase on the invoice. Mind you, I bought a whole house full of furniture and had to make some changes so it could properly fit - they did help there. The biggest issue and complaint was the delivery. They were supposed to assemble the furniture, but instead they dropped it off at the door. Fine. Try and see if it will get done the next day but let me know ahead of time the plan. Never got a phone call, text, voicemail, nothing. I get a call at 3pm stating they are there to assemble the furniture. I’m not there, no one is home. I could have planned accordingly if I knew ahead of time but nope, no communication. I, then are told I have 15 mins to have someone show up or they will leave. My friend showed up 2 mins after that statement and I pleaded for them to stay just a little bit longer and refused. It was supposed to be set up on Tuesday and now I have to figure out a scenario on Saturday where I also work to get this done. If not the problem is prolonged. The experience originally was good. The experience with the delivery process tainted this whole experience and I refuse to buy anything from Ashley’s ever again.

Bad customer service and quality of products- missing parts. They also delivered at night time, so we did not have time to open the the furnitures and they said no returns. We will never buy from them again.

Overall experience in the store was good,but we were led to believe couches were in stock. As soon as I made the payment.i was told it wasn't in stock and that i had to wait 3 weeks for delivery, them a few days before delivery I get a call saying my couches are still not available for delivery and they added another week.i already got rid of my old couch so now I'm sitting on the floor. I ready to cancel my order and go somewhere else to get a new couch. Super disappointed.

0/5 stars. If I could give negative stars I would as well. Purchased a "hot deal" couch in September. Their employee told me it would arrive mid September. Delayed to October. Delayed to November. Now delayed to January because it has been backordered. Why is this store in the business of selling inventory that they do not have and then lying to their customers about delivery date, all in the guise of this being an "estimated" delivery date. I was new to the area and trusted Ashley as a brand but this store in particular was incredibly disappointing with a level of incompetence unheard of. Caution to ALL customers who shop here: Do NOT trust their employees in regards to their delivery dates, they will DELAY and DELAY further leaving you without your purchase. Look further for reviews that have shown the same issue with order delays, so CLEARLY this has been issue with this store that they are not interested in fixing. I should have read ahead before ordering myself. Never trusting this Ashley again. Neither should you. Go shop somewhere else that is more reliable and do NOT give your business to this store!

About a week and a half ago my husband and I walked into an Ashley furniture showroom. We were after a recliner for our game room. We found the perfect chair. Chidi helped us, was very personable and had great customer service. Well today, we came back to purchase that perfect chair. Chidi had just returned from lunch, mapped out our details, and Toni the manager finalized our purchase. Needless to say, we had a very pleasant experience at Ashley's home furnishings. Eddie was very helpful to me in selecting the best sofa and making all the arrangements. Easy and informative experience.

DO NOT shop here if you want to get furniture delivered months from now. I order a sofa in July and never received it. And apparently no one knows what's going on with my order. So I cancel my order last Friday. And went to another store in lakewood called discount direct furniture. And place an order on Sunday and receive it today. They have similar furniture as ashley but for a lower price. We got a better sofa for a better price. Don't waste your time here.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience with Michael! He kept us up to date through email prior to purchasing so that we knew exactly what we were paying for and all of our available options. Once we arrived, Michael greeted us in a professional manner and already knew who we were and had all of our files pulled up ready to go. Very informational and great at his job, thanks Michael for being so helpful today, and thanks Ashley for the beautiful new bedroom set! Definitely recommend going here for all your furniture needs!

We had a fantastic experience at this Ashley! We came in to browse for couches and were immediately greeted at the door yet, didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. We were given our space to shop around and to come find Mike (who was fantastic, and very knowledgeable) with any questions. Upon deciding to purchase we dealt with Jacob who was also great, very professional, yet personable. I would highly recommend this store, we will back to purchase more in the future!

Probably the absolute worst furniture experience I’ve ever received. We normally purchase from the old cannery because of their reliability and quality. This time around we decided to try something different. The biggest regret I’ll ever have. to put it as professional and nicely as I can I would absolutely stay away from Ashley furniture. We purchase multiple pieces from them totaling $9k and we would have spent more honestly but as I write this review we have canceled our order with them. We were told everything BUT a nightstand was available so we placed our order. We are currently in the processing of moving and got rid of our master bedroom set and our living room set so we were expecting to purchase it through Ashley. Placing the order is right where the good experience stopped. I called in Thursday October 12th to check on our order I was told by the warehouse that the order was good to go besides one Nightstand which we were expecting. Then my boyfriend who has the number on file received a text message from the company on Friday the 13th that our order was going to be delayed another month even though I had just Spoken with them and everything was good to go the day before. We had tried talking with the manager at store and were never able to do so. We were also told by the warehouse that the store does this type of thing all the time. They tell customers the pieces are in stock even though they aren’t to make the sell. Both myself and my boyfriend are in sales and have been for decades. We understand that sometimes things are out of your hands as a sell person and manager but we were constantly ignored and refused service. I would save your money and fund another company. Someone who is honeys and willing to help you out as a customer. With this review we did purchase from Sheldon and their sales people went above and beyond for us. STAY CLEAR OF ASHELY 🤢🤢🤢🤮
