I went to get a dinning table and the sales person name Edgar was so very helpful he is a very nice man he was helpful and professional and patient with us. This man deserves a raise.

Mike was very helpful and attentive. The management staff was quick, and helpful as well.

Jacob was extremely helpful and worked with us to find just what I was looking for and helped me fine the right price. First time shopper here and I had the best experience! Thank you!

Went to buy a couch Tuesday 6/4 around 6pm and the sales associate messed up every step of the process, kept forgetting to grab certain documents as my questions kept reminding him to, would sit us down then tell us we need to move to a different part of the store, and kept putting in my information wrong and claimed he would fix it “later” which he never did. I had to contact the carrier to ensure my address was fixed. Even while I was filling out information he decided to just lay flat on the furniture unengaged on his phone. And the worst part of all they had convinced me to go with the financing option when I wanted to pay in full and ended up signing me up for a credit card I didn’t need or want without informing me. Only after I received the printed document he handed to me last minute (because I reminded him again) did I realize what he had done.

My husband and I went in to Ashleys to look at couches to replace our current couch. We had already looked at other places and got a different pre-approval for 0% interest program. A salesman Chidi had a memorial day promotion and said we could do a PRE approval. My husband put in minimal information and was PRE approved for $1,000 for the no interest program, which was great and covered the couch. the computer screen said PRE. my husband never accepted the approval. Chidi took the computer and started clicking around and 30 seconds later Chidi came back with a piece of paper, it turns out he had gone in and accepted the offer without my husband knowing. We didn't know until later, we still thought we had a PRE approval. We wanted quotes on the sofa with tax and payment plans so Chidi brought us a quote and had added on a $200 delivery fee that we told him we didn't need and a $200 warranty. We asked him if he could work out any deal for a paired loveseat and he acted like he could do some great deal then came back with $10.00 off. We couldn't justify buying the loveseat which was already only $40 cheaper than the sofa so declined the second chair. I read over the warranty and it had too many loopholes that essentially said we would be responsible for maintance, damages and cleaning anyways and online there are bad reviews about the warranty process. When we told Chidi that we didn't want the warranty and delivery his attitude completely changed, he started making snide comments about us removing the warranty and becoming pushy and kept walking away. We told him we wanted to get the sofa and were ready to go over paper work. He asked for my husbands ID and a credit card which was odd and my husband said no. We still had nit received paperwork, Chidi said he needed expiration dates from the ID and my husbands credit card? We asked why and he seemed annoyed (we have gone through financing before so this became increasingly odd and my husband is a finance manager and has been for 8 years so red flags were going off) He then wrote on a paper and walked us over to a computer and said he was ready to take a payment of roughly $70. We were confused because the whole time Chidi said that we were doing a 0 down 0 interest program. On the screen he had the entire payment ready and was trying to process it, my husband had to make him stop and told him that he wasn't paying anything until we had the contract in front of us and the deal and payment amounts and Chidi became More irritated and got a manager. The manager came over and was condescending and rude and started explaining to us "how financing works" we told him we understand how financing works and that what chidi told us is completely different from what he was now trying to do and that we weren't given any paperwork aside from one sheet of paper that said we were approved for the $1000 0% interest program. The manager then said we weren't approved for that program but one that had 34.99%. We told him no that's not what Chidi told us so we're confused about what they were even talking about and why they were trying to take payment without us even KNOWING that. They continued to be rude and essentially ignored what we were saying. My husband told them to cancel everything in front of him and we left. We got home and received an email that said we had accepted and been approved for a different bank then they had told us at the store. We called them and found out Chidi had signed up my husband for a CREDIT CARD through a third party for Ashley. We called the credit card company and explained the situation and that my husband didn't know why this account was open when he did not open it. They filed a complaint against or to Ashley and cancelled the account. We will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They were unprofessional and either had no idea what they were doing, or were intentionally shady to get a sale. They did not have us do a PRE approval but an actual approval and were dishonest and vague throughout the process.

We recently bought a reclining Love Seat from Ashley’s in Tacoma WA and we were helped by Jacob G. He was fantastic with selecting our Love Seat and purchase and delivery, we would work with Jacob and Ashley furniture again and highly recommended them.

No pressure after entering the store. Salesperson was knowledgeable and friendly once we had questions about a product.

We purchased an outdoor lounge set, the Silo point nuvella. To our dismay our puppy chewed up one of the cushions. Obviously this is no fault of ashley furniture, but what I don't understand is that ashley only sells replacement cushions for indoor furniture, not outdoor. I have been told their hands are tied and they can not help me at this point. I would encourage anyone buying outdoor furniture, to shop anywhere else but ashley.

Great experience at Ashley. Our salesman Chidi was very helpful, friendly and not at all pushy. Our couches were dilevery two days later, we were given a four hour window of 12-4, by 10 am it was narrowed to between 12-1, then we received a call 30 minutes before they arrived at 1215! Jose ( im pretty sure that was his name) and his team were great! Quick, careful and professional with the delivery. Very happy with the delivery and our experience! Oh and the furniture too!

Went to look for patio furniture. Stopped at Ashley home in Tacoma. Last time I purchased furniture at Thomasville...it was a very bad experience. This stop at Ashley went very well. Adriana was very helpful and convinced me to check Ashley for future furniture purchases.

This was my first visit to Ashley, and I was genuinely surprised about the great quality of options they have at low prices. The customer service was also good. The fella that helped us was knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. I will definitely be back again.

I had a really great experience ordering from Ashley Furniture Store in Tacoma over the phone actually. It was very smooth and they were willing to apply my coupons. I am very appreciative of their time and help! Highly recommend!

The sales staff at the store were very helpful and knowledgeable and that was a good experience. Unfortunately the outdoor furniture I selected and paid for was not able to be collected due to the glass on the table having been broken whilst staff were getting it ready for collection. Instead of making this situation right, the management indicated that since the table was no longer in stock, I should replace the table at my own expense at a discounted rate they decided on. In effect I would have paid twice for the table. They did offer to refund me in full. In the interest of excellent customer service, the manager ideally should have replaced the set at their expense and not been aggressive and belligerent and not interested in the reputation of the brand.

Very easy process. We knew what we were looking for so it was a very transaction. I've made purchases at this location before and I have no complaints.

My experience was horrible! While I was trying to decide on a table the sales rep was inattentive and not knowledgeable. They told me my table will be here within a week and scheduled a delivery. When the delivery date came, and I got no notifications and called the sales rep told me the table is on back order and she has no idea when it will be here. Just overall horrible customer service!!!

I purchased a coffee table set and large rug from this location and I love them. The staff is very helpful and so down to earth. Jacob was the sales associate that helped me also the customer service representatives Emily and Ila were also awesome to work with. I met the store manager Tanner super nice guy he definitely knows what he’s doing. Five stars all day!

Eddie can answer any questions you have regarding mattresses and get you in the one that works best for your needs. They were very professional and I highly recommend to anyone!

Was a decent experience. Mike was an informative sales guy. However, I felt a little disappointed he didn’t want to shoe me upstairs himself when there’s also an elevator, and he was not willing to give me help when it came to negotiating the price a little bit. Like literally $100. I ended up finding a booth furniture sets for my kitchen and living room at Mor Furniture for less AND was able to pick out up the same day

Our sales rep, Chidi, was very enjoyable to work with in store & with the purchasing process. That’s where it ends. We picked out & purchased our items on Sat 03FEB2024. ASHLEY Furniture has our money, and we DO NOT HAVE our new furniture!!! We made the time in our personal schedules to pick up our items on Tuesday 06FEB, changing our work schedule even, only to receive a call the day before, notifying us our items were not available in the warehouse. A new availability date of the 17th was given. They called on the 15th to tell us items wouldn’t be available for p/u on the 20th ??? We were perplexed- the 20th??? We call them to ask when was the 20th decided? We’re not available, nor are we willing to miss anymore work. We ask for the “pick up” option to be changed to complimentary “delivery”. Customer Serv Rep, submits our requests & states Warehouse/delivery will give us a callback. Five days later, on the 20th, heading out for work, our phone rings. We are told our items are available for pick up. We do not accept this. We review all of our delays/frustrations up to this point with this delivery rep. Rep says it looks like complimentary delivery can happen if we are available on the 23rd. We told them we had a very small window of availability for Friday. A few hours later another Delivery Rep calls to confirm acceptance of a Friday pick up !?! We said No! It’s a Delivery! We go through the time constraint issue with this rep & it is decided the date will have to be changed AGAIN! No more days in February work for either party involved, so Saturday 02MAR2024 is set. We get the “day before confirmation” call with a delivery time announced. GUESS WHAT?!? The morning of the delivery a call comes from ASHLEY, either our items have been damaged, OR they’re not available in the warehouse, the message states! Here it is a month later, ASHLEY Furniture STILL has our money and we the customer have nothing! The message states we can call them back if we want…

Bad quality of a sofa-bed that we purchased recently. It only have been used 4 times and the screws are coming out. I had to use bigger ones because the originals hare little. Really sad and mad at the same time.

Wow what great customer service. I came in to look at sleeper sofas and sectionals and dinette sets. My advisor Adriana was so knowledgeable and helpful. Even though they work in commission, she stayed engaged and helpful after finding out I needed to buy in another state. If you’re in the market for competitively priced furniture, go to the Tacoma store and ask for Adriana!! Tell her Julie sent you.

Good selection of furntiture. I went in looking for bedroom sets but found a great cabinet! The sales rep was the only one there so it took him some time to get to me. He was very nice and helpful though and the checkout process went pretty quick once he was able to get to me.

WANNA GIVE AN UPDATED: emailed back to that comment on this and they mailed parts to my old address and I tried to tell them not there anymore so now the people live there has to send those parts back! Plus they still can’t do anything to help us with damage! This furniture isn’t worth its price if it broke before a year of even having it!!! Please if military it’s not a place to go to since we pcs without option and they can’t help us after we pcs and furniture broke so easy!! They were no help! If your military stay away from them!! We moved due to being military and they can’t fix my furniture cause we moved to a different duty station awhile back. It’s ridiculous. Go somewheres that works with military families with warranty for furniture cause they don’t!

Started out great. Were more than happy taking my order. But now it's a hassle getting it actually delivered. Ordered over a month ago - expected it to take a while, not a big deal. Told me it would all arrive on Feb 1. Date approaching, get a delivery confirmation email or 02/07. Give them a call, apparently some of it is coming later and they will schedule half to come on the first and half to come on the 14. Also said I would get another confirmation email. Making plans with work to make sure I'm home when it's being delivered. Follow up call since I did not hear anything - apparently it's not coming that day at all now...no update on their end. The new day it all will arrive - already made plans and cannot specify what time NOT to come to make sure I'm there. Now have to schedule it even later. Very frustrating. We'll see if it actually comes that day or if I just make plans to be there and it does not show up...got a great deal though...

Just in case you buy something on sale in Washington state where it rains, Ashley will not use cheap seran wrap to protect your furniture from the elements. They literally thought I was going to pick up my furniture in the rain with nothing covering it! I returned the couch and went to Mor and they actually wrapped my couch! Never coming back to cheap Ashley furniture!

I bought bedroom set 2yrs ago from this location and $200 paid extra for furniture protection. I bought center table set too . By the time when we were there to buy they promised something else about furniture insurance and insisted us to buy but now I see problem with night stands and dressing table top wood started peeling off itself and I noticed headboard and footboard wood also cracking itself then I approached to insurance send them pics and explained everything it’s first time I was calling for furniture insurance and then they replied me back that your claim not approved it’s just wear and tear . You can fix this out of your pocket . Why I paid $200 extra then ? Please guys don’t buy furniture from them specially furniture protection they lied to you when you buy furniture and once you bought they don’t care . I want my money back or fix the problem.

Totally wasted our time. We bought a nice couch from the guy name Mike in December, he told us it was ready to ship and the delivery date was set on January 2nd. But it was delayed to the 9th without any proper explanation. The day before the 9th, we got the email to confirm the delivery & we even called them. But on the 9th, we called them to see what time they were coming, they told us it was delayed to the 23rd. We were frustrated. No phone calls or apologies about the delay. We had to call them. Every time. Also they didn’t sound like they cared, they seemed nice at the store, but now they got our money nothing else matters? We arranged the work schedule twice and got rid of the old couch in the living room. Now we have to wait 2 more weeks in the empty living room & rent a truck to pick it up by ourselves. Horrible experience. No communication skills. Very very disappointed.

DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE! they lie about delivery times, dimensions of products not in store, and their warranty does not cover ANYTHING other than frame damage. not worth the money, not worth the headache. these people are some of the worst on the planet. do not support unethical behavior.

Horrible experience from start to finish. When we walked into the showroom the sales reps kept walking away from us to help other people, we spent most of our time waiting for someone to come back with answers about product stock. Then we preped the space including moving furniture out of my kids rooms for their new beds and the delivery was cancelled an hour before due to part of a bed being out of stock. Called the store and the rep said she would look into it and call me back. She never did. So my kid slept on a mattress on the floor while we waited for the next delivery date which was 4 days out. This time they called to cancel an hour into the delivery window, for out of stock product even though I had called a few days before to confirm it was there. At this point I called the store and spoke with Tanner who was the only person that helped. He was able to reach out to the warehouse and get everything fixed. The "out of stock piece" was there the whole time. Should have gone with my gut and left the store when we were left standing there for 20 minutes.

Bought 6-7k worth of furniture from them. Everything was great, friendly, good atmosphere, and accommodating during the purchase. I noticed items I didn’t purchase on the invoice. Mind you, I bought a whole house full of furniture and had to make some changes so it could properly fit - they did help there. The biggest issue and complaint was the delivery. They were supposed to assemble the furniture, but instead they dropped it off at the door. Fine. Try and see if it will get done the next day but let me know ahead of time the plan. Never got a phone call, text, voicemail, nothing. I get a call at 3pm stating they are there to assemble the furniture. I’m not there, no one is home. I could have planned accordingly if I knew ahead of time but nope, no communication. I, then are told I have 15 mins to have someone show up or they will leave. My friend showed up 2 mins after that statement and I pleaded for them to stay just a little bit longer and refused. It was supposed to be set up on Tuesday and now I have to figure out a scenario on Saturday where I also work to get this done. If not the problem is prolonged. The experience originally was good. The experience with the delivery process tainted this whole experience and I refuse to buy anything from Ashley’s ever again.

Bad customer service and quality of products- missing parts. They also delivered at night time, so we did not have time to open the the furnitures and they said no returns. We will never buy from them again.

Eddie met us at the door, was so friendly & helpful & knowledgable without being the least bit pushy, that we were very happy to have him help us find the perfect sofa! Overall experience in the store was good,but we were led to believe couches were in stock. As soon as I made the payment.i was told it wasn't in stock and that i had to wait 3 weeks for delivery, them a few days before delivery I get a call saying my couches are still not available for delivery and they added another week.i already got rid of my old couch so now I'm sitting on the floor. I ready to cancel my order and go somewhere else to get a new couch. Super disappointed.

0/5 stars. If I could give negative stars I would as well. Purchased a "hot deal" couch in September. Their employee told me it would arrive mid September. Delayed to October. Delayed to November. Now delayed to January because it has been backordered. Why is this store in the business of selling inventory that they do not have and then lying to their customers about delivery date, all in the guise of this being an "estimated" delivery date. I was new to the area and trusted Ashley as a brand but this store in particular was incredibly disappointing with a level of incompetence unheard of. Caution to ALL customers who shop here: Do NOT trust their employees in regards to their delivery dates, they will DELAY and DELAY further leaving you without your purchase. Look further for reviews that have shown the same issue with order delays, so CLEARLY this has been issue with this store that they are not interested in fixing. I should have read ahead before ordering myself. Never trusting this Ashley again. Neither should you. Go shop somewhere else that is more reliable and do NOT give your business to this store!

About a week and a half ago my husband and I walked into an Ashley furniture showroom. We were after a recliner for our game room. We found the perfect chair. Chidi helped us, was very personable and had great customer service. Well today, we came back to purchase that perfect chair. Chidi had just returned from lunch, mapped out our details, and Toni the manager finalized our purchase. Needless to say, we had a very pleasant experience at Ashley's home furnishings. DO NOT shop here if you want to get furniture delivered months from now. I order a sofa in July and never received it. And apparently no one knows what's going on with my order. So I cancel my order last Friday. And went to another store in lakewood called discount direct furniture. And place an order on Sunday and receive it today. They have similar furniture as ashley but for a lower price. We got a better sofa for a better price. Don't waste your time here.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience with Michael! He kept us up to date through email prior to purchasing so that we knew exactly what we were paying for and all of our available options. Once we arrived, Michael greeted us in a professional manner and already knew who we were and had all of our files pulled up ready to go. Very informational and great at his job, thanks Michael for being so helpful today, and thanks Ashley for the beautiful new bedroom set! Definitely recommend going here for all your furniture needs!

We had a fantastic experience at this Ashley! We came in to browse for couches and were immediately greeted at the door yet, didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. We were given our space to shop around and to come find Mike (who was fantastic, and very knowledgeable) with any questions. Upon deciding to purchase we dealt with Jacob who was also great, very professional, yet personable. I would highly recommend this store, we will back to purchase more in the future!

Probably the absolute worst furniture experience I’ve ever received. We normally purchase from the old cannery because of their reliability and quality. This time around we decided to try something different. The biggest regret I’ll ever have. to put it as professional and nicely as I can I would absolutely stay away from Ashley furniture. We purchase multiple pieces from them totaling $9k and we would have spent more honestly but as I write this review we have canceled our order with them. We were told everything BUT a nightstand was available so we placed our order. We are currently in the processing of moving and got rid of our master bedroom set and our living room set so we were expecting to purchase it through Ashley. Placing the order is right where the good experience stopped. I called in Thursday October 12th to check on our order I was told by the warehouse that the order was good to go besides one Nightstand which we were expecting. Then my boyfriend who has the number on file received a text message from the company on Friday the 13th that our order was going to be delayed another month even though I had just Spoken with them and everything was good to go the day before. We had tried talking with the manager at store and were never able to do so. We were also told by the warehouse that the store does this type of thing all the time. They tell customers the pieces are in stock even though they aren’t to make the sell. Both myself and my boyfriend are in sales and have been for decades. We understand that sometimes things are out of your hands as a sell person and manager but we were constantly ignored and refused service. I would save your money and fund another company. Someone who is honeys and willing to help you out as a customer. With this review we did purchase from Sheldon and their sales people went above and beyond for us. STAY CLEAR OF ASHELY 🤢🤢🤢🤮

If you’re going to purchase something from here, make sure the Sales associate checks the item number correctly before processing your order. There was no way they could cancel my order right after placing it in their system and then reordering the right item. They overcharged me, because they selected the wrong sized item. They weren’t even able to refund my money for the difference. The person who helped me did not double check the order, and she didn’t seem genuinely apologetic for her mistake. When she brought it up at the customer service counter, her mistake was an inconvenience for them to change it in the system. Somehow, the department where the order is processed was closed and their system was lagging.

Antonio was very helpful and welcoming as soon as we entered! We bought a 5 pc sectional and an oversized ottoman. We saw a bed frame we were interested in as well. Needless to say we will be back and ask for Antonio :)!

I can’t even begin to describe the absolute horror that we have been subjected to by this company. They are incompetent, indifferent and downright evil. I have never seen such a corporate display of downright customer abuse. How they still exist is a mystery. My sales experience was only mildly annoying. Pushy sales, complete ignorance of products. Then it started. Delivery of our bed was delayed repeatedly. Weeks turned into months. Finally 2 men who spoke (0) zero English (I assume)showed up with our bed. We paid extra for set up and delivery. They slapped it together wrong. (We found out later) Not 1 word they just walked out the door. No instructions on the adjustable bed. Not one word. They just left. We soon realized was it built wrong. Legs thread shafts bent. Wrong lengths, bed crooked. Now we begin weeks and months of anguish trying to get someone to fix. Finally they fixed. Then we realized they had failed to install the massage motors Average person would suicide by now. Finally they came out and installed. Guess what, only 1 motor worked. They didn’t even test it! So start again with absolutely lovely customer service. In the meantime the entire adjustable bed stops working. We call and despite having paid extra for a warranty ASHLEY lies and tries to to tell us our warranty is expired. Them finally agreeing to the truth our warranty was in effect means nothing. This drama isn’t over and we are still waiting on repair parts. I will never shop here again. You shouldn’t either. They don’t care.

The moment me and my family walked into this location, Devin's hospitality was warm and welcoming. We came to compare pricing on their Altari series and discovered that it was more expensive however, Devin came back to check on us and informed us that they price match and even offered to try and get us a better deal if we bundled items. Not only did we save money, we also were told about their quick delivery services. Will be back for more furniture down the road!

My parents and I went in to look for a sofa for my new college apartment and we not only found an amazing sofa that fit my price range, but ended up leaving with a coffee and end table set, bar stools, 2 lamps and a rug all for $1300 and not to mention she granted a 10% discount for being a college student! DO NOT buy the warranty! It's a total scam. They make it sound like it covers everything but it most definitely does not. Total rip off. Plus the furniture may as well be made of toothpicks and floss its so cheap. Go to Costco.

I will never make another purchase from Ashley again. They have horrible customer service. Delivery driver refused to deliver our furniture. Told his dispatcher that our stairs were to narrow. They are a normal width for a split level entry way. But the stair way was not mentioned to us when they were here. He just kept complaining that it was heavy. Think they just didn't want to work. Then he proceeded to take pictures inside our home without our permission. When I called to complain they didn't care about my personal private property. So my husband kicked them out of our house and all pieces were returned. We went to the OLD CANNERY and got a beautiful livingroom set. Excellent customer service.

After spending a ton of money on a mattress, we had a delivery date for about 2 weeks after purchasing the mattress. Got a phone call the week before delivery saying they can't deliver it until the week after. Now I get another phone call saying it's going to be delivered a week after that. In what world is this acceptable? Will I be getting yet another phone call saying it's pushed out again? Still have yet to receive the bed!

I had a wonderful experience with the employees .They are very professional and attentive especially the store Manager Albert and Jacob .However when it comes to my delivery it was a nightmare and I had to cancel everything because the staffs that handle delivery were very unprofessional and rude . One was literally sleeping while telling me my delivery would be late . I had no issue until we agreed upon another delivery date and no ones showed up Or had the courtesy to call me and I had to call just so they could tell me they will push my delivery date to two weeks later . I will never buy from Ashley store or my family .I wish there was a Raymour and Flanigan near me because I would of gone to them instead of wasting my time . If you want a furniture store to have you purchase things and wait forever on the delivery date then go to Ashley store in Tacoma,Wa.

I advise everyone to never ever buy from Ashley ever again We bought one too many of chairs online and wanted to return one. There is a warehouse down the road which first Ashley said we can return to. After that they said that we have to Fedex it and can't return it to the warehouse. The return cost via Fedex is more than the cost of the item ( like $400)!!!. This is ridiculous. They know what they are doing - this isn't an accident. The customer service is horrendous. They sound really disinterested and the representative was also really rude and cold. Also look at the class action suits that are against Ashley. This is a company with questionable business practices.

I found a 5 metal lamp and I didn't like the price so I ask if they can bring the price down and they did! That was cool😎.

Made two orders for the same dinning set. One for two different addresses. Things got mixed up right away. Sales man did not fix the problem. Delivery system only had one address and could not find the second one. Call the delivery system and they said the store had to fix the problem. Called the number for the store and I got a call center in Arizona. They have to contact the store in Washington. The day of delivery I get a call from the delivery service to say one of the dining sets is on backorder. Not happy at this point,go back to the store for refund.

Finding the lamp we wanted was easy because of all the choices. Buying it was hard as the Internet service left a lot to be desired. It took us longer to pay for it than it did to find it. You have to speed up the process.

He then told us to feel free to browse around , and if we had any questions he would be available. My husband tried out a few recliners and then he found the perfect one . Mr Madujibeya wasn’t to far away when my husband summoned him over . He and my husband were joking among each other about the prices . My husband LOL was asking about a 100% military discount. Came into the store looking for couches and coffee tables for my home. Jacob the salesman was sooo patient with me as I was very indecisive about what I wanted in the pieces of furniture. Anthonio(could be anthony) who waited on me was amazing..However his supervisor or the person who had the administrative key to approve the discount was in my opinion very irresponsible. The store wasn’t busy I witnessed Anthonio requesting him to approve the sale, he said he would get to him as he appeared to just talking to another employee. We returned downstairs to pick out some other furniture and Antonio on multiple time went upstairs to find him and texted him with no response it was a good 15 mins before it was approved so I could finished the sale. So frustrating to be in a virtually empty business and the person helping me couldn’t get help to complete the sale and did everything thing in his power. This time I could of utilized in my moving efforts..this leadership needs a wake up call on what customer service is about..if it wasn’t for the tiredless effort of the person helping me, I would of walked out. But, he was doing everything in his power to complete the sale. All of your employees need to have the ability to complete the sale and not just to one person who doesn’t seem to care about timely service.

Went looking for a table on April 23rd, was greeted at the door by Devon, she did a great job letting us know the layout and was available for all our questions. She was even able to locate locations that had one table on the floor that I had wanted to see in person. Ultimately I went with something else in store already and am very happy with the service Devon provided.

- 1 star. Bought a coffee table and 2 end tables. All came damaged. The manager and other associates said they had no idea how to even get a hold of their own warehouse to see if they had replacements. We were told replacements would take over a month to get here. A few weeks later we finally got an authorization to get a refund. Bought the same exact product new and cheaper at Amazon and they came perfect. I need more furniture but will not be going back to Ashley. Their customer service is appalling.

Her product knowledge is comprehensive; She really knows her stuff from reclining to stationary to MATTRESSES! She showed me the lux breeze collection from tempurpedic and I am so in love with it! I have spent a lot of money at this store. I had to furnish a whole house. I was happy with everything except the cal king bed I bought. I spent 4k on a bed that is now uncomfortable and I wake up hurting. I can not sleep through the night. I toss and turn all night. I went back to the store to see what I can do. All I got was “oh I’m sorry”. Sorry? Sorry that you don’t have sleep on this bed? I have had the bed for less then a year. Apparently I am stuck with a $4,000 bed that hurts. I have rotated it and it still unbearable. How would you like it? Waking up hurting? Not being able to get any sleep? Ashley, you have lost my business and I will not recommend this store to anyone.

I unfortunately won't be ordering from here again which sucks because I really wanted to. Bought a couch, scheduled the delivery that day for the following Thursday, took the day off to be here and no one has contacted me and it's nearly 5pm so I call tech support- they say "Oopsies" there is no delivery coming today and the soonest they can do it is the following week. Was no one going to tell me?!? Incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Buyer Beware! Bought an entire media cabinet for ~ $2000 from this branch in March 2023. The sales person Jacob was very nice to us during the time of the sale. He promised us that if the price of the furniture we bought goes down in the next 30 days that he d match that price and refund us the discounted money. Finally the furniture arrived and I realized that one of the pieces required to build the furniture was defective. Also just a few days after i got the furniture. Ashley started a sale and the price of my particular cabinet was lowered by more than $200. I called the customer service and they routed me to the local store. After multiple calls. I reached out to Jacob. He then connected me to their manager. Manager was extremely rude and condescending to me for no reason. She said that the entire cabinet needed to be replaced but couldn't give me any details or time frames. I have never experienced such rude customer care in my life. She also said that she would price match my cabinet even though the sales person Jacob explicitly mentioned to me that there would be a price match. These guys just kind to me on my face just to make a sale. After a nightmare couple of weeks dealing with customer care, they sent a technician out to look into the issue. I am not unhappy about the defective furniture as these things happen. I am extremely angry with the behavior of the manager with me, the lies about price match and the abysmal customer care. I was going to purchase a king bed, 3 bar stools, a lift top coffee table and a dining table set from them. But now there is no way I will ever shop at Ashley's. Plenty of other good stores out there. Run from this store...

The people were nice & knowledgeable.

I would give minus 5 stars if there is an option here. The store manager is really rode and have zero customer service skill. Worst experience I ever have with them. They say something and do the opposite. They lied on us on the purchase we made and when we called them they transferred the phone from one to another without a real answer on our situation. I won’t recommend them for any furniture purchase.

Ashley's reluctance (perhaps "ignoring me) to take a recliner back is appalling. I called within 24 hours that this recliner did not work for me. The chair is not motorized, thus the ability to get out of the is too strenuous for me. I have arthritis in my knees. The foot dragging, the "committee" that reviews and then decides whether the problem fits under their warranty plan, and the lack of communication make my experience with Ashley a poor one.

Chidi was awesome and so helpful found the perfect love seat.

Devin Dixon at the Tacoma store is fantastic! She is so very knowledgeable of the merchandise on the floor, She helped me put together 3 rooms for my new home with just some obscure ideas of what I wanted and bad cell phone pictures of an empty house. I walked into the store unsure and stressed out and Devin helped to relax to me and made the experience fun. I feel like I walked away with a lifelong friend and I'm excited to receive my furniture.

The staff, especially the finance employees were VERY DIFFICULT made it really hard to fix an issue that was simple… (Chidi was the only employee that knew how to do his job he was amazing & He was very respectful and very professional!)

Total Chaos, found headboard and footboard but changed my mind but apparently the salesperson didn't have a clue of how to change the item so we've got a bed we didn't want but wait, asked if we wanted a service plan and my wife and I said, no, but we got it anyway and trying to cancel it is almost impossible, although we said no they put it on anyway

Too many issues with my order. I placed a large order in Tacoma store. Couple of days after the order was placed but well before the delivery date I cancelled a couple of items from my order. They still charged the whole amount and I have been trying them the refund the money for the things that were cancelled and never delivered. To top that, they have charged the same amount twice on my card. It is very hard to get hold of the sales guy once the order has been placed. Don't trust them when the sales guy says you can reach out him for any issues with the order.

Purchase a nice king size bed with delivery. Delivery team came out and installed it and strapped all bolts. Now I can’t take it apart to move it if I need to in the future.

I took my mom there, she paid cash was told a date of delivery so before delivery we sold her other set two days before her new set arrived. From time of purchase delivery would be three weeks, the day before delivery we called to check what time sooooo we would have help. We were told another two weeks out and that they left a message ,No message found. My wife took my mom back to the store demanded her money back they said that would take up to two weeks. How is this store still open, we will never go back.

We just recently purchased a new couch from Ashley and we love it. Devin was our sales person and she was fantastic! The last couch we purchased from a different retailer fell apart within a few years and we wanted to make sure our next one wouldn't. Devin was very knowledgeable and she was able to give us good information about what to look for when buying furniture. She wasn't pushy like a lot of sales people. She really wanted us to find something that we would be happy with. It was nice to be able to have a sales person help us without being irritating. The store is clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend buying from them.

I would have given them no stars but it wouldn’t let me! I wouldn’t buy from the Ashley Furniture store in Tacoma Washington. I ordered a rug from them to go with my dinning room table set and they stole my money and carpet! Said fedex delivered it to my house but fedex said the store is wrong the package was damaged and delivered it back to the store. Opened a claims and the store called me and said sorry they can’t do anything about it! This is not ok for the store to steal money and a product from their customers! Worse customer service I have ever dealt with! I would avoid them with everything.

Furniture shopping for most people is a big deal. It is a big purchase and often something you will have for many years to come. If you are shopping for furniture, trying to find that perfect piece, they might have it here, but your process of finding it will be miserable. I have no doubt that they have some good employees who care about your experience, I just have yet to find one. I have visited this store on several occasions for various reasons. This last time, was my last. I don't care if they have exactly what I need at the best price ever, I can't fathom spending another minute in this store. While my other experiences definitely are reflected in my rating, I will keep it to my most recent experience. I was looking for a solution to a problem for work. From the greeting to my near running (trying to escape) out the door 15- 20mins later was one of the most uncomfortable experiences ever. I was totally stalked by the greeter or next sales person up on the floor, from her too loud and overly aggressive greeting ( i was generally startled when I walked in), to not being given 2 mins of peace, to feeling I needed to escape her, (at one point she was blocking the stairs) and her very much not taking any of my cues or hearing the words that came out like: Please stop, I will let you know if I need you or have questions. Even if I had found what I wanted/needed, I would have come back another time when she was not there. Aggressive sales do not work on me, I do not like people in my bubble, and I really don't like it when they are practically yelling at you, and will not respect your process at all. This is not the first time I have experienced that here, their sales tactics are very old school, and are not customer focused. For me, I am done. If I can avoid it, I will do my best to never step through the doors of this store again.

I came in and purchased a Queen Size Stearn and Foster Studio Pillow Top mattress and had the help of both sales reps Chidi and Albert to help me figure out what I needed. They recommended me what works best for me and made the experience great. I did end up exchanging the mattress for a better one the next day but Albert helped me choose an even better Stearn and Foster Lux Estate Soft Mattress that was right for me.

Buyer beware! Store manager Tanner and sales person Chidi are running a scam to take money from customers. They sell you items they can't actually provide and then force you to get store credit instead of a refund so you have to spend your money with them. They very blatantly tell you they aren't responsible to give a refund but are happy to give you credit to buy at the store. Be very careful, Tanner and Chidi are good at the scam

Bad experience - “used car salesman” approach by this stores manager and regional VP. Got a 30% off in store promotion. They then raised the price of the item (reg $2,600) to $2,800 in order to use the 30% coupon or I could use a 15% coupon on its regular sales price ($2,600). Very disappointed. I intended on spending $10k-20k just year but they lost a customer forever over $200 lol

Chidi and the manager were so nice!

We bought 2 recliners expecting them to be available for us to put in our new home Dec 3rd..That date came and went and kept being pushed back. We were very frustrated to contacted Albert at the tacoma store to vent our frustration...He was very nice to us and said he would personally monitor the activity and update us every week which he did...Our recliners were available to pick up today and he let us know...He made a very unsettling situation ok with the respect and kindness he showed me and my husband. Our church purchased the Kaywood Sofa about a year ago for a high traffic area in the church building, and it has held up so well that we just purchased two more for different areas in the building.The price was reasonable, the salespeople we worked with were kind and knowledgeable (Nathan at the Tacoma, WA store especially), and delivery was easy.

We bought an excellent piece of furniture here at Ashley in Tacoma. The salesman who assisted us was very helpful, cordial and professional.

We placed a order online and it was cancelled without any reason given, so we decided to call the Tacoma store to place an order for a sofa, and we're put right through to Jacob, who was a breath of fresh air , when my expectations for most customer service these days is very low, he's definitely changing my opinion of Ashley. I would recommend Jacob, if you want a great customer service experience. 👏👏👏

Modern and pretty - decent prices but clingy salespeople.

This furniture store lies and fails to meet the customers expectations! They have the worst customer service in the furniture industry! The lack of comintment and service is trash!! I came to the Tacoma Ashley store with my family to purchase a dinning set and a couch. We were helped by Antonio and quickly picked our furniture. Antonio gave us false promises about the delivery dates . We told Antonio that we need this furniture by the 22 of December. Antonio promised us that we will get our furniture before Christmas. To our surprise is not happening anymore! I'm an upset customer calling the store and talking to an incompetent manager named Emily, she can not commit to what it was verbally promised! She can't handle the pressure of a very upset customer and she decides to hang up the phone instead of transferring the call to the general manager. I called again and I'm been on hold for about 25+ minutes. They don't have the ability, commitment, and effort to help resolve the problem.

When I came back several days later to add to my order, he helped me get a good price on delivery and even made it so all the furniture I ordered will come in one delivery. If I ever need furniture, I will definitely come to Ashley's Furniture and ask for Michael.

First time shopping with Ashley Furniture and had a very pleasant experience. I’ve been keeping my eye out online for a sleeper sofa and saw a few here I liked as well as a few other places. Figured I’d go in for a quick sit test since the bed portion, that damn bar, can be notoriously uncomfortable on a sleep sofa. Was greeted at the door by Jacob who took the time to ask me about my visit. He took me to a sofa display and let me do a quick test on the bed portion after hearing my concerns, showing me the extra springs for support as well as adjustments for elevating the head if desired. I think he caught on pretty quick that I wanted to explore some and he was intuitive enough to show me what to look for on the signs and to not get too caught up on fabric since there are lots of options if I didn’t care for a particular color on the floor. After happily wandering for a bit I decided to ask about a sofa I saw online, they didn’t have it in the store, but Jacob showed me a very similar one that I liked the sit of enough that it convinced me to purchase the sleeper. All in all, I felt like Jacob was attentive without being overbearing. He really listened to me, using his knowledge of Ashley’s products to help me find what I was looking for. Outstanding customer care.

The quality of products were great. We find a sofa that we love. The service on the other hand was not so great. The associate that helped us didn't appear to want to be at work. He kept complaining that he was tired and my go home early. He also ended up over charging us (not giving us a sale price) so I had to return to the store for a refund.

Couch broke 48hrs after I got it. On we are now on 2 months of a broken couch. I keep getting put on hold and thrown around. Wrong parts ordered(picture provided). Do not order Ashley!!!!!

Absolutely do not buy furniture from them. I paid $800 for a table, 4 stools, and 2 bar chairs. It's been 2 months, and one of the stools has broken completely (the entire top broke off the stem, just crumbled apart where they welded the 2 pieces together), most of the stools are loose/ have pieces falling out of them because the screws are too short. Absolute garbage.

I bought sofa from Ashley tacoma. The sales man told me it will deliver to the home. And I double check they will help move into the home. Unfortunately the delivery person drop the box outside my door and it was rain. I called the salesman and customer service and did not have solve the problem. Very bad experience.

After a long wait, We were finally given a price quote for what we asked was specifically the exact couch layout on the sales floor. We were told we could price match an online deal but essentially we underpaid for the couch by two pieces due to the sales girls mistake when ringing us up. Sam the manager did what he could to get us all the pieces we needed for a decent price considering their mess up. Not 5 stars because we ended up having to pay a large additional amount (again, based on their mistake). It would have been nice to be completely taken care of (like we were told we would be) especially considering the couch on their website was additionally marked down for the layout we wanted versus the in-store price. Sam did give us a gift card for our troubles but we still ended up paying quite a bit more than we were hoping to on a couch.

This store is awesome, Nathan got straight to the point with helping me find what I needed for my home. Work all the options with me really took his time allowed me to pick and stayed in the price range i wanted didn’t over sale me or just try to sale me something because of the price. They allowed my child to play while i shopped and was very helpful and understanding that I’m a mother

They said everything I wanted was in stock and because of this I ordered5k worth of furniture. Delivery day comes and 2 pieces are missing, including one of the sectional pieces. I call and they said it was a mistake. Offered me 400 off. 6 months later still havent recd my other pieces.And I HAVE TO CALL THEM, THEY NEVER REACH OUT!! Exact same thing happened to friend which appears like a SCAM. HORRIBLE!

This company is a joke. My couch was supposed to be delivered on a Tuesday… but they never showed up. So I called & they said the could bring it later on Wednesday. So the delivery guys show up & informs me they cannot deliver to a 3rd floor apartment. No where did it ever say that they can only deliver to first floor apartments (unless you have an elevator 🙄) Calling “customer service” is awful. No one seems to know what is going on. And there is definitely a language barrier. Even the delivery guys didn’t speak English, they had to hand me their phone so someone could translate! 😳 Needless to say, I canceled my order. Save yourself the headaches, and buy from a better company.

Ashley Furniture in Tacoma, has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I purchased a sofa. The wrong sofa was delivered. One of a lesser value. When I went back to the store, I was treated in a rude condescending, dismissive manner. The remedies offered were.not acceptable. I finally just asked for a refund. I will never shop there again. The staff is fine when you're spending your money, however if there is a problem, they are herrendously thoughtless and extremely unprofessional.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Terrible delivery, zero Sales professionalism. To start with delivery, we were not notified 24 hours before, they told us 2 minutes before it was delivered leaving us no time to get the couch that was there first. The couch that was to be delivered was the wrong couch. We had to refuse delivery, which then prompted a call to customer service, we were on hold for 25 min so we just drove to the store still on hold. Moving on customer service, none. The salesman took no care in the details of our order and wrote our order wrong so the person charged us for one thing yet delivered another. Customer service to help us fix this issue was non existent and dismissive. We will not be returning to this establishment nor will we be recommending this to anyone else. Pull it together

Sales lady was amazing, she was new but so helpful and funny. Prob we are having is delivery, we were given a delivery date of Aug 26th, that date came and went so when I called they told me new delivery date would be Sept 6th, so I had to request a day off from work in order to get my furniture. The warehouse called to confirm my order and they told me it would be to be on the 6th. The next day I get another call from them. Had to change delivery date again, new date is Sept 16th. That puts us over a month late from original date, called the store to see if there is anything they could do to help, maybe give us our delivery fee back, something. The "supervisor" was hella rude and said we should have been told it could take up to 6 months to get our furniture, which if we were told that we would have never purchased it as we needed it asap. "Supervisor" said if we want to cancel we had to come in to the store to do so, so they will be seeing me Friday morning to get my money back... she was very rude and unprofessional, I recommended to NEVER use Ashley furniture 😒

Tighter feel than other furniture stores we’ve perused. Sales folx are pretty in your face, which is not our vibe so we ended up heading over to the Auburn location where they gave us space to consider their selection. I understand goals and commissions, but it was a little too much here.

I had to change delivery date which was easy. The product was delivered on time during the early part of 4 hour delivery window.

We purchased a new sofa, chair, dining set and rug on July 23rd. Our sales associate, Nathan, was super helpful and pleasant to work with. There was no high pressure selling and he is very knowledgeable about the showroom items. We paid for delivery and set up for our furniture. It arrived on time and the process went smooth. We love our new furniture and give our experience a 5 star rating!

I went to Ashley already knowing what I wanted to buy from shopping on their websight.When I found the furniture set I was looking at online the sale price was not displyed.I asked the sales person who was helping me what was up.She immediately got on her phone to her supervisor and got me the sale price.Very happy with Ashley"service!

Where is my couch!?... First it was scheduled to be delivered today from 10-2pm today (after mistakenly being scheduled a month ago when it actually wasn't in stock) and then you called me at 10am saying the truck broke down and now it would be pushed back to 2-6pm instead which I graciously tolerated. AND... now it is 8:15pm with NO COUCH DELIVERED. I took the whole day off of work just because I've waited so many months for this furniture. UNBELIEVABLE and so unprofessional. And you didn't even bother calling to admit you weren't coming tonight. What's wrong with your company? This is unreal and sad. You seemed okay taking my money but don't seem to be interested in providing any actual goods or quality customer service. Fix this ASAP or I will plan on reporting you to the Better Business Bureau.

We bought around 10 pieces of furniture there, and ended up cancelling 1 of them before delivery... After that, we received our bill that was higher than expected and we called the store to get it fixed...but they didn't want to remove the amount we were charged as protection plan over that piece of furniture.... We talked to Emily from customer service, and she said there was nothing to do about it because they already added that charge to our synchrony account...we said that is literally stealing... And she just said she was already tired of talking in circles... This is by far the worse customer service I've ever received. They're going to be very nice before you make a purchase but after that expect nothing but lame custome service. Total waste of your time and money

This is easily the worst customer experience I have ever had. They treat you well at the store, but get ready once you are out. Furniture got delayed multiple times, they charged me for furniture protection plan on furniture I did not end up getting and once you try to solve any of these issues all they did is talk in circles and would not solve anything. Customer support at this store (at least the person who talked to me "Emily") was rude and did not look for solutions to any of the problems I was experiencing. Please do yourselves a favor and go to ANY other store, I am stuck with them but you definitely can do better.

This has been absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. It took 8 months to get my furniture. There was zero communication to keep me updated on the status of my order. After 7 months I was offered to have my delivery and setup fee refunded and that still has not happened. And now I have not been able to speak with anyone at the store I purchased the furniture from. I would not recommend going with this company.

I’m disappointed with businesses that are not true to what is advertised and to their word. I bought a couch from this store in January, it is already breaking Down. The fabric, the cushions, the mechanics of the recliner, on top of it it’s horribly uncomfortable. I paid extra for the warranty, it’s a scam. I want it replaced, and they won’t do it. It was an expensive couch. Too bad people won’t stand behind their business and do what’s right. I have to now go buy another couch. Bad business. Rip off artists! I heard back from an employee of Ashley furniture wanting to “make it right” to make themselves look good on this review, not surprised but they won’t do anything to help me. I paid thousands of dollars on this couch and have owned it since January. It is breaking down and horribly uncomfortable. I guess Ashley furniture thinks people have money to burn! I will have to spend more and buy another couch. I bought the full protective warranty. The best they will do is send a technician out to try and fix it… already have had that done that and no improvement was made. They won’t replace it, refund it, or even give me a credit in the store. Really unsavory business practices.

The worst experience ever. Was told I could pay$$ to have it delivered and set up. After ?found could have it delivered for free to doorstep no setup. We were told delivery date. That date was delay via email. Then once again via email. Finally delivery date is here. Only 1 item delivered no communication about other item. Call told it would be at local warehouse that day. Would be delivered within 2 day. 1 week later Still waiting.

We had moved to Seattle just one week ago and needed some dining room furniture. The sales associate was absolutely amazing friendly patient and wonderful at the Tacoma location.

Worst customer service we have ever had. Too bad zero stars is not an option. We were greeted, then sent upstairs to look for a specific recliner. There was no one up there but us. We finally found the chair. We went down to talk to a sales person. All 4-5 of them were too busy talking to each other to help us. Went to the front desk and waited 1-2 minutes for the 2 employees to stop talking to each other. I asked a question about deliver, got a very snotty answer. We turned around and left. Order the chair from Ashley in Olympia on the phone in less than 10 minutes. Our sales person Lars (I think) was great . Very friendly and happy to help.

I have had nothing but problems with my bedroom set, since delivery. The mirror and headboard were cracked. The dresser had a scratch and one of the drawers wasn’t working properly. Then we’ve experienced nothing but headaches since. We’ve been on hold numerous times for at least 40 minutes and it says if you want them to call you back go online. We’ve yet to get this resolved. I will never purchase anything from this company again. This set was expensive and we definitely didn’t get our money. Do not spend your money with them!!!

Worse customer service ever went in last night spent a couple of hours their picking out couches. Found what we wanted filled out a credit app got approved and that's where everything stopped nobody how to help us no communication from management or sales rep nobody knew how to handle the sale from the bank even though we got approved from their website. It was a horrible experience we can hear them talking about it and be unsure how can I be confident in this company if you don't what you are doing so we told them you know what never mind they said ok thanks it was like a relief to them they didn't have to deal with it while management just sat behind the desk. Horrible don't go to this location go to a different location.

I ordered 2 rugs at the store and I was told there was no set date for the delivery AFTER I paid. I was given an estimate of 3 weeks by the sales person. Well, it’s been now 2 months and still counting. I think it’s misleading and irresponsible to sell you a product that’s out of stock without being informed in advance and to lie about knowing when it’s coming back. I have called multiple times and they seem not to care to give me an honest answer. I got 3 different date and was told to expect a call, yet no calls yet, not even a notice about changing date or whatever. Don’t waste your time. Furniture quality seems okay, but certainly not worths the price. Customer service though is zero, most of their good products are out of stock and they won’t even tell you that until you commit to a purchase. Edit: 22Jul2022 - I can’t stress enough how disappointing this store is. I got an email shortly after leaving my review here to schedule delivery. How convenient, all the sudden they have my orders lol. Well, the earliest delivery I found was 19th July. Didn’t receive anything on that day. 2 days after, I got one rug only with damaged plastic wrap and was left outside my door. The delivery I paid for (+$100) includes taking items inside and set them up (because that’s only delivery service they got). I honestly don’t need help with that but if you gonna charge me for a service better do it. I still have no idea about the second item. 11 weeks! And only 1 item. This place is horrible and I highly recommend to avoid it.

I was able to walk in and order what I wanted in less than 15 minutes. Happened to be assisted by the store manager in Tacoma. She is awesome. There was great respect between the staff members. Great job!

This branch is a SCAM and they will literally lie to you, to your face about the store policy… The store manager told me they don’t do returns or exchanges at all. Then corporate told me that’s not true and had me put her on the phone to tell her that… then she said they do not do free door step delivery (even though I’ve done it before) so I had to call corporate AGAIN and have them tell her she’s wrong… Then she told me they won’t pick up my couch I’m returning. And again I called corporate and they had to tell her she’s wrong. This branch is a scam and they have no problem lying to you to get your money. They have no interest in customer satisfaction they only want your money.

Ordered 5400 dollars worth of furniture in December 2021 still waiting on them to complete my order ,it's the middle of June 2022..and still nothing..Do not buy anything from them !!! they are like used car salesman bunch of crooks .

We have talked to several Customer Non-Service people who say the order is cancelled, we call back about the refund and someone says that order is not cancelled. They are ridiculous. Still insisting I have to go to their store to get a refund, what kind of business can't work with the postal system? I think they are awful, SAVE YOURSELF HEARTACHE AND HEADACHE, SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSO. UPDATE: Now they are claiming that pre-paid VISA cards can't be refunded and we have to accept store credit. I would give a - 5 =DO NOT buy furniture from here! i bought my furniture that cost almost 5k for a whole living and kitchen set. Its been six months and with that, i have reached out at least 2-3 times a month to get information on when i will get my items. It always gets pushed back by a MONTH. Everytime i talked to someone, it was different answers and didnt match up to the previous answers I had before. If you want to wait a year for you things than you should be fine... DONT do it... worst place, i went in to get a refund so i can enjoy a summer with furniture with families and friends

Ashley home store customer services terrible. You call over the phone to check on furniture and they're unable to help you and when you stop in the store and there more worried about making a big sale than they are to answer your questions. They give you a 14 week ETA and ultimately takes 22 weeks without Explanation.

I bought the 5 year extended warranty for any type of damage on my couch. I am at the 3 year mark. Just called and they said I didn’t call in time for the stain cleaning (was supposed to call within 30 days of the stain happening) and the the cat scratches were not covered even though in the store they said it was covered, no problem. Only reason we went with the plan. Wasted the 120 dollars on this warranty. Never shopping here again.

Would give 0 stars if they had it. Ordered a living room set and a love seat showed up with lamps. Been 4 months now and haven't received the other half of the order. Everytime I come in they give you a date and keep extending. Ashley furniture has been nothing but a headache. I'd avoid unless you pick the furniture up in a truck on the spot.

I was lied to by several workers stating that my item would be held for me if I needed to push delivery a few weeks and then the item was given away so I requested a refund. I have waited months for my deposit to be returned on my refund with 3 different help chats over that time and still no check. Very disappointed in this company.

Lacee was super helpful and patient. Wasn't hovering over us or pushy. Let us wonder and talk. But was there when we had questions. Ended up making a purchase and she helped getting us the best deals. Thank you Lacee !!!

Poor service

Purchasing the furniture was a friendly and pleasant transaction, but we're a Military Family, and we canceled a purchase due to an unexpected PCS. Canceling the purchase has been another experience, and whoever they have answering the phones has the worst customer service I've experienced.

I thought the price was a little bit too high for me

The in store experience is great. The delivery experience is a nightmare! First they said it was in stock, but I couldn't get delivery until the following Monday. Them I got an update that it changed to Thursday. I took off both days from work, only to learn, the day it was to be delivered, that it changed again, for a new scheduled delivery on Monday. At this point I just want my money back.

If they offer a warranty to you DO NOT PURCHASE. I have had them try to come fix this couch I have with a hide away sleeper, they said it was too broken to fix. I have had a full sized bed in my living room for about 7 months now because they haven’t replaced my couch. I was getting home late when they finally did bring my replacement couch a couple days ago and I called them back and they told me they were going to put it back in the warehouse and reschedule the delivery. Called back today and they told me the couch isn’t there anymore and I have to wait another month for the next one. Do yourself a favor and just go get a couch elsewhere and definitely do not buy Ashley’s warranty if they offer it to you unless you like having busted furniture in your living room for months on end.

I ordered furniture on 11/27/21. Today is 05/18/2022 and it is not all here yet nor is there a delivery date available. I try to cal the store and am told I am number 150 in line. This is the worst customer service I have ever run into. I would never purchase anything from this company again.

Jannia was knowledgeable and informative in helping us select our bed and Areta was very helpful in helping us with the financials and delivery information. We feel we were treated respectfully and left confident in our purchases and experience.

Do not buy from Ashley Furniture if you want your furniture any time soon! Very unimpressed with Ashley Furniture. I ordered a couch and was told it will be delivered in 8 to 12 weeks. Was delayed 3 times and every very time was called a few days before delivery to say it is delayed and will be 2 more weeks. Ended up not getting my couch for about 5 months. My father ordered a couch the same day from them and was told the same timeline. He is currently still waiting for his couch to be delivered and its 10 months later. Also any time you try and call to check on your order even if its as soon as they open you are in the hundreds in the phone queue. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

This location does not allow Preferred Customers with Ashley Advantage credit cards to finance taxes and delivery, citing it’s a new policy.

Can I give zero stars? I ordered a bed at this store and they told me it would be 8 weeks. Not ideal but I really liked this bed. 91/2 weeks later and they are now telling me it won’t even be to the warehouse until may 24. The only reason I even knew this information is because I contacted customer service online. I then decided to cancel my order and the online customer service rep assured me it would be canceled within 24 hours. Later today I received a call from a store associate from this location informing me that I actually have to go into the store to cancel the order. Ridiculous and what a huge inconvenience. I don’t recommend this company at all.

The employee here greeted us. And from there on he was amazing. He went above and beyond to help us look what we wanted. Unfortunately, the table was not available when it came time to order. For that I am giving 4 stars but 5 stars to helpful man.

Hands-down the best furniture experience I've ever had!! Everyone is so friendly, helpful and SO KNOWLEDGEABLE! I was lucky enough to have Michael take care of me and set me up with a great living room set-complete with lots of great tips/options to fit my small space. Great selection for all budgets, quick purchase process and lots of options of delivery/pickup.

We purchased a couch and love seat back in august of 21 and were assured that because they're domestic, that we'd recieve them in december, here we are late april and still no delivery. Oh, and heaven help you if you try to contact the local store to speak with someone about it, it doesn't happen quite so easy. You call the listed number and get punched out to the national automated system...pure frustration!!!

My fiancée & I brought brand new mattresses for our son & us. Our delivery has been pushed back multiple times. It's been 2 months now. Lack of communication on their part. We would be told a delivery date and all of sudden it's been changed. We were supposed to get a delivery today but instead got pushed back til May. After this whole thing we aren't doing business with them again. To top it all off we paid for premium delivery.

If you are looking to actually receive the furniture you order, look somewhere else. We purchased two items in January and have had our delivery rescheduled five times at this point. Our latest date now has our delivery occurring five months after purchasing. Furthermore, each delivery that was rescheduled was never communicated with us, so each time we expected our delivery to arrive we contacted them and were informed that the item had been rescheduled to a later date without our say or any contact from the store. Absolutely abysmal service, a garbage organization; save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

After having a delivery issue for our couch (didn't fit in the door) my roommate and I went back to the store in search of a couch that could be delivered within the same price range of the original purchase. Adondrea was WONDERFUL and took us around the entire store giving us honest recommendations. She found us a couch, a coffee table and two matching end tables for $200 less than we originally spent!!! The couch was delivered today and we love it! Thank you SO MUCH ADONDREA for being so real, hilarious, bubbly and making a frustrating situation a breeze. We appreciate you!

Most terrible customer service imaginable. I have been waiting on a refund for a lamp for 7 months. I call the store, no one answers and then after an hour of waiting the out of state telephone rep can’t help me and I have to talk to the store. I am told someone will call back and I don’t EVER get a call. I have been to the store and I get a different story every time. It will take 2 days to several weeks to post and someone to call me. Again NO ONE calls. The customer service is set to push the problem down the line so that on a different day I am someone else’s problem. I understand what needs to happen is the store to call the synchrony bank (they financed it) and adjust the $30.40. but hasn’t happened in 7 months. Went in to Ashley Furniture in Tacoma WA to look at new recliners. I was greeted by Lacey who was very friendly. I told Lacey what I was looking for and she immediately gave me a tour of all the applicable recliners. Lacey was EXTREMELY versed in all products, extended warranty plans and her communication skills were EXCELLENT. I ended up purchasing 2 recliners with additional discounts and 5 year warranty plans on each recliner. A really enjoyable experience. If you are looking for upgrading furniture in your home and in the Tacoma WA area, ask for Lacey!

Feather was SO helpful when we called to place an order over the phone! I was in FL and the website wouldn't let my mom order me a couch online, as the shipping address and billing address didn't match. After days of runaround, we called the Tacoma store and Feather answered. He got us the couch we originally wanted AND got it for us at a super low discount, as he was able to price match! I'm so thankful he made it easy after Ashley's online and costumer service made it feel impossible. Thank you, Feather!

I wish could give zero star. Ordered over $5000 stuff and have not been delivered and its been over 3 months. worse buying experience i ever have. The lie all the time, they do not have control on delivery. I have now decided to go to court against them. every time delivery date comes the change and never communicate properly. Do not buy from Ashley, they do not deliver. read reviews, people even waiting since year for their stuff to be deliver.

Bought a table from them just to find out my husband could get the same one for 100$ cheaper online. When I canceled my table it took over 2 weeks to even get my money back still haven't gotten it back I will never shop there again

Brandon at the Tacoma store on 38th Street was great yesterday. He answered all our questions, showed us exactly what we asked about and as such we decided to make a purchase. We had actually walked past another employee who gave us the feeling we were bothering him asking him to let us walk through. I will be recommending Brandon to our friends who are looking for furniture.

They have great quality products and many options of the same items (tables, couches, bed sets, etc) but not much variety in types of chairs (no standalone chaise lounges). Also, pricing in store was wayyyyy off from their online prices. They price matched for me but I almost paid double the price for the exact same item!

The store is pretty cool you can sit down on the furniture try it out and the people are very nice and they're very good with their customers and they know how to talk about finances and being flexible and stuff they're really awesome had a really good experience there

I went into Ashley Homestore with a list of items I needed for my upcoming move. Adondrea was the absolute best sales rep EVER! She was friendly, very helpful and fast. The manager, Areta was involved as well in the pricing and finalization of the sale and gave me absolutely great deals! I can't wait for my new furniture to arrive, and will definitely go back to see those girls again!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Puechased my dinning set in November being told I will have it until January because of delays in inventory. Well i waited and now its end of January and only the chairs were delivered without the table and was never notified of this partial delivery! Call customer service requested a escalated call and I was advised to go in store in person to speak to the regional manager because they agree it was not right to wait until August for my table. They told me the sales agent should’ve said something that the table wouldn’t be available anytime soon because of an extended delay. I showed up in person today in store and I was advised all sales are final (haha very funny!) I requested to speak to the regional sales manager and I was told he’s in meetings all day supposedly and they’ll contact me when he’s available. I told him it doesn’t make sense for me to wait on my order till August that’s a total of 9 month wait. How do I known this information I probably would not have purchased my dining set here. Please if you’re planning to purchase any furniture from them don’t do it, they are selling furniture they don’t even have in stock for almost a year. Personally to me that’s borrowing money from someone without even paying interest. If you borrow money from the bank or even them, best believe you will be paying I interest! So why is this different? Oh! because a customer paid upfront the money and they are not worried because its not there money! Regardless I hope to get a call from this regional manner as soon as possible because I will be coming back the next day! But if they don’t return my money I will be contacting my bank and reporting fraud! BECAUSE THATS WHAT IS IS! Selling inventory you don’t have and then trying to deliver it to a customer nine months later?! BIG MISTAKE!

I haven’t received my furniture yet. I do like the furniture I picked. The reason I have a 3/5 is because they mark up prices and then say it’s a 50% off sale. Some of the same furniture is available on post and is the price they are claiming is “half off”. I didn’t go there because I wanted a sale I just wanted some furniture but that part was deceptive. It also took a really long time to do paperwork and check out. The salesman was nice and pleasant to work with.

This is the worst consumer experience I’ve ever had on my entire 40 years living! I order $4,000 worth of items from the Ashley’s store in Tacoma WA May 2021 and I’ve yet to receive all of my items! My order was inputted I’m the system incorrectly! I’ve spoke to several store representatives and every time I’m told I’ll be given a call back from the manager to correct this issue! No one has ever called! I’ve went into the store and spoke to representatives who stated they’re placed an case into the system given me a case number to find out later they inputted my contact information incorrectly to where I wasn’t even getting emails or calls about my case! After speaking to the so called corporate office they expressed to me that the store has to accommodate me due to the fact it’s an incorrect order input issue! My issues are I ordered an L shape desk with 2 parts the representative only put one part on my order to where I have half of a desk that can not even stand up without the other half seating in my garage for over 5 months! I ordered a tv stand with a fireplace. I was told the fireplace was never inputed into the order to where I have a tv stand with no fireplace!

We purchased a reclining sofa and separate recliner at the 38th St. Tacoma location. Our experience was excellent. Matthew greeted us and asked what we were looking for. He then directed us to the part of the showroom we'd find what we were looking for, then LEFT US ALONE to shop! That's exactly what we wanted. Several minutes later, when we had a question, a simple wave got Matthew's attention. He came right over to us and answered the question quickly. That sealed the deal. Matthew got us through the purchase and delivery scheduling process quickly and we were out the door.

Review your receipt. They will slap on warranty and protection products for $100s and never ask if you want them. Buyer beware.

By far the best customer service I have ever recieved. Mahar was awesome didn’t everything he could to get me into a price I could afford and very knowledgeable not only of the furniture but also the systems they use. Was an amazing experience!!

We bought a bed for my son. When it got delivered only one box showed up. No hardware and no other material to make it a whole bed. The delay would have been 10 weeks if they fixed the problem!! Can’t have no bed for my son that long. I will go with Amazon or Wayfair furniture over Ashley’s any day!!

Ok am here to change my opinion after the last bad buying experience it's 2023 so it was only fair to go back and check how it is . Jacob Guardacosta thank you your assistance has made me change my mind and yes Ashley you have a gem I ended up buying and it was worthy it ! Jacob you have a talent and my family especially my kids were like wow his good at what he does if mum bought!

I had a remarkably negative experience at this store. Getting a refund for an item delivery that was delayed by more than six months was a truly painful process that Ashley Homestore could have made much easier and more smooth. Communicating with the store via phone was difficult and took several hours, only to learn that they were only equipped to process refunds in-store. When I did go in to process my refund, the desk associate was rude, unhelpful, and slow.

If I could rate Ashley Home Store below a one star I would in a heart beat. Worst customer service and even worse delivery service. Bed was delivered with one missing rail. Couldn’t set it up and couldn’t take it bed back. (New bed was bought from a different store .) Finally got a pickup date then it gets pushed back a week. So here it sits in my living room in pieces. Waiting to see what happens next. It just MAY end in front of The Tacoma Ashley Furniture Store Front doors in pieces.

Go to the old cannery instead and save yourself some headache. My wife and I were shopping for a table early November. The sales associate stated “we have the table you’re looking at in the warehouse currently and can be delivered within a week and a half!” Perfect! Yet they called days before the delivery date to tell us they’re pushing it to the 26th of November. Next day comes along, they’re now pushing it to the 29th of November. A week later they changed the date to December 6th. Mind you, this already ruined our thanksgiving plans at this point but now it’s about to ruin Christmas plans. Long story short, not just once or twice was our delivery date moved due to the table being manufactured. Yup!..manufactured, so it actually wasn’t in the warehouse to begin with and we were lied to! The date has been pushed and moved around a total of SIX times now! HQ states they can do a partial delivery and also take off the delivery fee. Partial delivery will gives us atleast a table in time for Christmas dinner at our house..but not the chairs. We can manage. But supervisor at Ashley furniture states HQ is apparently wrong and don’t know why they’re taking about because we cannot do partial delivery, and can’t take off the delivery fee due to financing. At this point we can pay in full because it’s been long enough of a wait that we now are fortunate enough. Beyond disappointed, will never shop here again unless we don’t mind them moving the date months later than expected.

Drove 2 hr round trip to buy couches. Decided that I wanted a different set instead when I got home. Called store to have them change the order 1 made 1 hour prior and was told that I would have to come in to change order that they couldn't process over the phone. I then said I don't want to drive 2 hrs to make a change to a different floor model , so I asked them to cancel the order. I was told you can't cancel or get a refund or pay extra if I change the order unless in person. I asked for a manager and I was put on hold for 20 minutes while I started my 2nd 1hr each way drive and I never was connected to a manager. I hung up. I got to the store and told them how ridiculous this was and to cancel the order . I was in and out in less than 2 minutes with a refund. Wow 4 hours total for 2 trips for nothing. No help for anyone.

I had the most amazing time being assisted by Adondrea, you definitely want to have her help you out. She took the time to answer my questions and I felt confident in my purchase, without feeling pressured. I had my elderly mother with me, Adondrea's sweet kindness to her was much appreciated!

My sister ordered $2000 of mattress but delivered wrong cheap mattress which was not in good conditions. Rejected when they delivered at home, but they forced her to sign in the papers and leave it at her house. Right after delivery, she tried 3 times to get that returned. Customer service was soooooo bad!!!!

Ordered in august and they told me it would take a couple of weeks to get in. Recieved a call on 29 nov saying it would be delivered 1 dec. Recived a voice mail on 30 dec saying it would be delivered between 730 and 11. Today, dec 1st after i disposed of my furniture ibfind out they cancelled my delivery and moved it to feb! Just terrible.

The young man who helped us (Armani?) Did an outstanding and patient job of showing us the products that interesting us. We also appreciated the promise of an expedient delivery.

They have no clue of their stock. They'll sell you furniture with no idea when you'll receive it. They'll even let you pick a date for delivery that they won't honor or tell you about. Horrible company.

Ask for Troy N. He is the best sales person at Ashley furniture Tacoma. He answered every question we had about the sofas we purchased. Very knowledgeable and very professional. He had amazing communication with us through out our sale. He is our go to guy! We are very happy and will be back for more furniture and mattresses in the future.

About six months after I bought a reclining sofa, the chair is stuck out. I bought the 5yr warranty thank God. I'm told I have to wait 12 days before anyone can come out, and wait for them to say what they are going to do about it. I said just replace it. They say no. Ashley home store in Tacoma is terrible. No more business from me, and I may have to get my lawyer on them.

Bought a leather sectional couch. Paid for a 5 year protection plan ($300), our couches zippers busted open, and all the stuffing came out. No big deal right since we have a protection plan. Wrong!! The store claims to have us in the system with a protection plan, but the claims department can not find us. I have and have shown the original invoice to the store and texted and emailed the invoice to the claims department, but apparently, we don't exist as customers. Now we have to spend extra money to take our couch to be fixed. For this reason I will not be shopping at Ashley's and you should think twice about the service they will provide you as a customer. Do not recommend the protection plan.

If you bought something and you don't like it or it is damaged, DO NOT expect any returns or exchanges.

Had a great experience at Ashley’s furniture! Truth be told it took us three trips to finally decide but we had wonderful help from both Armani and Michael Feather. And our bedroom set and chairs are already being delivered tomorrow! Yay! Thank you both for being so welcoming, patient, and helpful. 10/10 recommend!!

Very poor customer service

Honestly they don't even deserve a 1. Worst customer service and management I have ever seen. Bought a brand new couch. Got deliver broken. Got told I would have to wait 9 days for someone to come out and repair it. Then they can't fix it and say they are going to order a part for it and I have to wait for delivery then reschedule a technician to come back out and fix it which will take adleast that .much time again for them to come out. So all in all bought a broken couch there weeks ago, still not fixed, got the first payment coming upandthe manager says there is nothing she can do and that's policy. Shady business!!!!!!

Sales associate was awesome received the couch and the reclining part of one of the couch was broken called the same day to let someone know they told me that they could only send out someone to come fix it through the warranty plan that I purchased received a phone call today on Monday that they were coming to come fix the couch between the hours 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. never showed up so I decide to call had to wait 30 minutes for them to tell me that I am not scheduled for today I'm scheduled for Wednesday even though I got a phone call confirming they were coming today a little frustrated that I received a broken product and needed someone come fix it through my warranty plan I purchased I expressed my frustration on purchasing a broken item and needing someone to come fix it a week and a half later then she told me if I had called 72 hours after the delivery I could have had it returned and received a new one which I was not told or else I would have just done that because why would I want to purchase a broken item to have someone come it. Extremely frustrated with this company.

Horrible company to work with. We went in and bought a tv stand June 19th, they kept pushing back our delivery date without telling us. I had to call 3 times to hear the changes. Then the day before delivery the store called and told us the piece was a self assembly, was not told this in store. Then the item was finally delivered nearly 3 months after purchase and it was the wrong tv stand. I have called the store every week since this item was delivered. They keep telling me there is no claim created and they will create one, so I finally went into the store and the manager basically does not care. She acts slightly concerned but you can tell she doesn’t care. She “set up” a pick up for this item and that day comes and goes and no one came to pick up this tv stand. It’s super frustrating they messed up the order and they can’t even correct it. This has been going on for a month now. I just want this item out of my home, the box is taking up a lot of space. The store will mess up orders and run you in circles. I would go else where that actually cares. We can’t get a refund until the item is picked up yet they are basically refusing by running us in circles and lying to us.

Horrible experience so far. I purchased a couch about a week ago and paid the extra $90ish to have them assemble the couch AND have a say in the delivery date and timeframe. I received a confirmation email saying the delivery would be 9/14 (way faster than I was expecting, but worked perfectly because I have no couch)and then 3 more reminder emails the following days about my upcoming delivery on that same provided date. One of the emails said the delivery would be between “ - “ so I attempted to contact the store for a time window. I sat in the chat function for over 3 hours on 9/13 waiting to speak with someone and wasn’t ever connected to an agent. I submitted a callback form and was told I would be contacted in 48 hours, which wouldn’t work for my delivery the next day. I finally got a hold of someone early morning 9/14. The representative said someone left me a voicemail the day prior saying the couch I purchased was on back order until 9/28. I shared all I received the day prior was the email confirming the delivery on 9/14 and a phone call from a random number and I don’t answer random numbers, not many people do nowadays. She apologized for me not seeing the voicemail as if I just wasn’t looking hard enough or something. I explained to her that I purchased this specific couch instead of the one I wanted because it was in stock when purchased, but she just said again it was out of stock until 9/28 and I would be contacted about delivery then or sooner. The website should be properly kept up to date on stock. I understand that’s not always possible so they should also keep their emails up to date rather than continuously proving a false delivery date just to keep to their word “on paper.” Will not be purchasing from them again and will be sharing this experience with others to help them avoid this same disappointment.

EDIT:Lowered to 1 star. Gave me the run around again. Finally got a delivery date of 11/4 about a month ago and thought "finally a defined date". Had to chat with them today 11/1 because i had gotten no info about my delivery. Delivery date moved to 1/03/22. I bought the dang furniture 5/23/21. 6 months for furniture? Really? DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. They just hold your money and never give you your furniture. Old Review:Similiar as others. Bought $2k+ worth of a sectional and its parts 3 months ago. No calls or emails about updates on delivery. I contacted them a month ago asking about any updates an they said mid-september it would be ready. Contacted them today and they told me id be in late October now. Again only me contacting them. I understand the pandemic is wrecking the supply chain but some customer service for a $2k purchase is fully reasonable to expect.

This is by far the worst place I have ever bought furniture. My bed broke 2 months into owning it after light use. And when I tried to get someone to help, they did nothing. They are never available to answer the phone which means I have to go into the store if I need to fix a problem. I called them to get a refund, and was told they don't do refunds but could send someone to fix it. Then they ghosted me and won't pick up their phone. NEVER buy their junk furniture.

I was in commission sales for 6 years .I would call my customers weekly to update them on their purchase. This place does not do that, we bought our couch almost 3 months ago and not one phone call to update us on our delivery. Now, I understand with covid things could take longer .That is no excuse for an unorganized sales team . I am normally a calm understanding person but when your communication does not exist that is a serious problem. I will never buy from this company EVER again nor will I let my family or friends buy from them .

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. We paid cash up front for a sectional in JUNE and have been getting the go around ever since. Today is September 1st and the third time our delivery date has changed. I get it - covid has decimated shipping and labor expectations. But we’ve had to call every time to get an update on what’s going on with the delivery, and no one has a clear answer. We’d cancel the order, but there’s several nightmare reviews about refunds being tied up for months. This Tacoma location does not answer their phone, if you have a problem with your $2k purchase, you’re gonna need to head back to the store. Needless to say, we’ll never make another purchase here. Please head my warning, and don’t make the same mistake.

They will lie to you in every way they can about store warranty or additional warranty coverage. My husband and I came in with our newborn in Jan 2020 and decided on a sectional and matching rocker, talked into an additional 5 year warranty on the premise of when our child becomes a toddler anything can happen and what isn't fixable would be replaced- spent almost 2 grand with this store- only to be told when we need replacement cushions (which the store had sent us once before due to damage from movers, no problems at all) a year later that it was never coverable under warranty and our warranties are no longer able to be used because we moved! This store is in a military installation area and not disclosing to military families that when they move, their warranties are null and void. What kind of sense does that make? It costs less to get the whole sectional that we just paid off halued to a junkyard than it is to have cushions replaced. $350 for six cushions!? For the love of everything that is good, do NOT use Ashley Furniture. No matter what number you call to resolve (which you will spend 25mims-2hrs on hold for) you will be gaslightted, lied to, bounced around, disrespected or hung up on. Just don't do it.

Michael really helped me find the correct mattress for me. He was so patient with me. Took me upstairs and downstairs to look at all they had. It was fun. He worked with my schedule too. The staff is very nice as well. I had a great experience :)

I’m very disappointed in their service. I spent two hours dealing with a representative and after I finished I was called back into the store because they forgot to have me sign a document. Now because of their mistake my furniture is arriving late. I understand mistakes happen but not signing the receipt is unprofessional

The salesman would not listen to anything I was saying. I went as far as showing a picture of the room and explaining how the room is set up and how I’d set up the couch in the room, ignored. He was more worried about walking me by multiple couches as fast as possible and then went to help someone else. I understand if you’re a salesperson your job is to make sales but jumping down someone’s throat and then not listening to what they want is not how to do it. Could have been a cash sale, but la-z-boy gets my business instead.

Booked a sofa from here. They sent the used sofa with damages and torn out. Refused it. Very bad customer experience and not at all professional. Never gonna come back to Ashley.

Do not purchase from this store or any other store in the area. If you would like to get the best deals you have to do your purchases online. I got a nightstand for my daughter's birthday that matched her bed. Online it was $169.99 at the store it was $249. The in-store employee was supposed to price match since its the same company, We didn't realized when we left that he hadn't. When I went back to the store a few weeks later they said since the furniture was already delivered so they wouldn't provide a price match. I have purchased a lot of furniture from them and always had some type of issue. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. I am closing my credit card with them and won't be conducting business with them any longer (oh and you can also find their furniture on Amazon cheaper then there store if you want to purchase and get 30 day return policy

We had a great experience working with Adriana. We were very indecisive and actually left the store, only to come back because we couldn’t stop thinking about the furniture set. She did a great job of answering our questions and not being pushy or over-selling. We will definitely be back!

I bought a couch and love seat from Ashley furniture in Tacoma in 2019. I also bought the warranty. I have been trying to get the issue with my couch resolved for almost a year with no resolution in sight. At this point I am convinced they do not stand by their product nor do they care about any guarantee they give you when you buy from them, I asked all the questions before purchasing the warranty and when i tried to use it I was told it was a manufacturer problem and went back to Ashley furniture who told me meaning no one has complained about this issue in the past it isn't a problem they will take care of. I will never purchase furniture from them again. This has been so upsetting and frustrating. Still waiting on my call from the "resolution" team from 2 months ago. Called again and was told they can't take calls I have to wait for them to call me back.

The store has a lot of new items from decor for your walls to pillows and throw blankets for your couch. The staff here is very friendly and helpful

The sale and everything was fine I ordered my stuff the weekend of memorial day. It was there sale and they were back ordered I understood that here it was July 5th I called and just ended up cancelling. They said my refund would take 7-10 business days. It's the 16th and still no refund. Quick to take my money but slow to give me it back or give me my furniture. Never using them again.

My wife, my 2 year old son and I walked into Tacoma’s Ashley’s furniture today 6-15-2021 at 330pm we probably sat on 15 couches while no one approached us at all. We looked around and all the staff wasn’t busy at all, Matter of fact a lady walked in probably 5 minutes after we did and she was greeted by a young lady with no hesitation. I never leave reviews but we literally felt insulted. We sat on 15 couches and was measuring couches to fit our new place and not one person that wasn’t busy stopped by to help and see what we needed. Sucks for your staff because we need to furnish the entire house and now we’ll go to the Olympia Ashley’s furniture or another place and purchase what we need.

I had an unexpectedly great experience at Ashley this weekend. I came in for a single pillow and had VIP treatment from the moment I stepped through the doors. I worked with David and he was helpful and relatable. I got a nice pillow that fits my body and seep style and very nearly walked out with a mattress because of David's passion for his products. I will be coming back to Ashley for my furniture needs in the future.

We had a wonderful experience at Ashley Tacoma. This store is better stocked than any of the stores we went to around the PNW, and even more than the Ashley store in Seattle. We had our toddler with us (not ideal but what we had to do) and the staff was amazing. Lacey was great and professional. I would highly recommend this store.

Customer service representative was very relatable and patient in helping me decide between sectionals. She ran costs, gave insight, and made suggestions. She did suggest add ons but didn’t make me feel bad when I opted out. She was very upfront with the lead time on the products and made sure I was okay with it before getting too attached. She had good attention to detail and made sure my order was correct. Overall, my experience was very good.

We bought family room furniture back in February. We were told it wouldn’t arrive for 12 weeks due to the pandemic. Our delivery date got pushed back 2 times. Furniture just arrived towards the end of June. Otherwise the set up was well done. I believe the gentlemen that delivered did hit a corner of wall and chipped the paint. My daughter noticed the chip the following day. No damage to the furniture though.

We were sold a light gray fabric couch, the sales person pushed it because they sold the warranty as a "cleaning service "for an extra $99 and its actually an insurance policy and they will say no if the stain or spill is too big for them so do not waste your money. I told the sales person I have small children so spills was going to be a common occurrence and they assured me scheduling. Cleaning would no big deal. Very disappointing!

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. They made a mistake on our order and instead of fixing our issue they just ignored it. Got to the point where they stopped answering my phone calls. I was not able to speak customer service on the phone anymore after I had complained. They were extremely unprofessional. If I knew they treated their customers this way, I would have never gave them my business. Don't make the mistake of purchasing anything from this store. Trust me, you'll regret it.

I ordered my bed frame on 02/06/21 and I am now “rescheduled” for an arrival date of “June 14.” The amount of times I have been rescheduled has been so ridiculous. I have never once went in to complain because it’s not even worth it with this management team. They all seem very lost in everything their doing, I have been given false information about my order. I was called by costumer service that I was to be rescheduled again. As any costumer I asked why this is going on for so long, and she just blabing about some nonsense. Then she goes on saying that if I have been rescheduled more then “6” times that she could send out a Email of some sort of refund for my money. And in this email it would be the amount i am qualified for to receive from the money I paid for my bed frame. So as any costumer i was confused but I complied, agreed and she said I would get an email with how much I will get refunded. I never not an email, never was refunded, she lied to me. I went in-store and the management were so “shocked” Everything about this company concerns me. This is who represents Ashley homestore, and this is what is being condoned in their company, lying and rude workers. The costumer service is so disrespectful, makes you feel very uncomfortable when you speak to them and you can 100% tell no ones cares about you nor the AMOUNT of money you had to spend on the furniture you worked hard for. Money you invested into buying yourself something nice, and in turn this company uses to its advantage to just rob you till your left with no furniture and no more patience. I wouldn’t be surprised if I refund my purchase and go buy from some place else.

We went in to Ashley furniture today to purchase a sectional for our front room. We were greeted at the front door by Tabitha she was very nice helped us throughout our shopping experience. She was knowledgeable very helpful!! We bought a leather sectional a set of tables and a couple lamps. I would definitely shop with Tabitha again. Kudos to the sales associate Tabitha!! We're very excited with what we purchased!!

Don’t go to this store unless you want to be followed around 24/7 and stared at your whole time shopping. I am completely unimpressed with this company. I couldn’t even talk to my fiancé about the furniture we seen without being cut off by the sales associate - super rude. I continued to ask her what the monthly payments would look like after financing and she said she would tell me in a minute. After asking her 4 times what the payment would look like she tried to take my card and charge me for the furniture without telling me any price and then mumbled the monthly payment so I couldn’t hear her correctly. My fiancé and I walked out and took our business to old cannery. Never coming back.

For the amount of money we spent at this place we were absolutely appalled at the level of customer service they provide. I recommend shopping around or going to a different Ashely. They do have great furniture but this location is not where you will want to spend your money if you expect even good customer service. Maybe go in to find what you want but then spend your money online or at a different Ashley. It’s not worth the headache these people will give you. Moreover, their shipping department is just as bad as they are and they constantly use the excuse that it’s a “third party” so they have no control over it. Yet they charge you 300$ for the headache. Buy online for an easy and seamless shipping solution.

Had a sleeper sectional delivered. It was hard as a rock, uncomfortable to sit on. The one we tried in the store was very soft. We called to return or exchange it and was informed once it is in our house, they will not return or exchange it. This includes if they deliver the wrong color item. The manager was rude about the whole situation. Don't buy from here!

They said they had what we needed but would not take the order over the phone. Knowing we had to bring 2 small kids, they promised to have everything ready to sign once we got there. We even have given them the exact order. They showed us pictures of what we requested. Done right? Nooooo! They took another 90 minutes to write up the order 3 different times each time having to get manager approval. We paid for Premier service which would have been worth the cost had they delivered the correct furniture. I sent it back after which they told me it would take several months before they could get the furniture i ordered. I canceled the order and requested a refund. I was told I would have to come into the store, which by this time was 2 hours away, for a refund. I asked to speak with a manager and was twice told someone would call me back which never happened. Worst furniture buying experience ever. I will never buy at Ashley Home Store again.

We originally went to Ashley HomeStore to look at couches but we had a sales rep (Markael James) who with his expertise sold us on a $4K sectional and a $2K mattress with pillows. We also purchased 2 lamps we saw on the floor and even purchased a throw blanket (cash). All in all we spent 3.5 hours there when we had planned a lot shorter trip. Of course we passed on even going to Macy's.

I would give zero stars if possible. I guess they get 1 for decent service when trying to make a sale. However, I will not be buying from Ashley Home store ever again. My item was delivered damaged. They sent a technician out who "fixed" it with a screw where there wasn't supposed to be and some epoxy or some sort of resin and screwing into that where the damage was instead of doing what should have been done and getting me a new dresser. I did not pay for a refurbished item. I paid for a new one.

If your looking for someone to give you empty promises, take your money, mess up at every turn and then give you the run around, this is the place. I don't usually give bad reviews, but I have never experienced such awful service in my life.

My wife and I ordered new furniture September 2020. Furniture delivery date was rescheduled 5 times and as of January 2021 furniture had still not arrived. So we cancelled the order. We have gone into the store 2 times to get a refund of our $100 deposit which they keep saying will come in the mail. As of today, 15 APR 2021, we still have not received a refund on our order that was cancelled on January 3rd 2021. Not even the store manager was willing to do anything about it and be helpful in anyway or enforce their own corporate / store policy! Unbelievable? You would think so, but no, it's not because we experienced it first hand. There are still other problems they caused like delivering the wrong colored couch on prior order. This store doesn't deserve even a one star rating...even that's too nice.

Terrible service called 3 times to figure out my delivery and was hung up on once, 2nd time they had no idea and the third helped and was told I can pick up from warehouse. Once I called the store they said the warehouse is closed on Mondays and my delivery is now pushed back 4 days.

We found the bed we wanted online and then went to the store to pick it up. Online it was $229 on sale. The guy in the store tried selling me the SAME EXACT bed for $899. When I told him it was $229 online, he said no, we don't have anything for that low of price and made me feel like I wasn't "their" kind of customer. I left and ordered it online. It will be delivered tomorrow. I paid $253 after tax. I will never go to their store again.

We purchased a bedroom set that was supposed to be delivered 4/6/21. Due to the salesperson not getting all the documents signed by us, our delivery did NOT come and I had to call to figure out why. No one called us to notify us of this issue. We had to drive 40 minutes out of our way to sign and set up the delivery AGAIN. It was supposed to be delivered again on 4/8. That did NOT happen and we were told it would be delivered on the 13th. Once again, NOT notified by anyone. We were able to get delivery set up for today, 4/9. Our furniture did NOT get delivered. When we called we got told that somethings got switched at the warehouse and that they could maybe deliver tomorrow. The absolute WORST customer service. We are now canceling our order & getting a refund.

If I could give zero stars I would. Purchased a bar cart and loveseat in November. At the time the items were in stock. I was getting ready to move so I scheduled delivery for early January. Starting end of December I would receive weekly phone calls to schedule delivery only to have a call a couple days later to say my items were on back order. I finally received the love seat last week almost 5 months later but again was told the bar cart was on back order and I would receive an update in 48 hours. That never happened. I call again, bar cart is scheduled for delivery April 3rd, great! Today another phone call, sorry it's on back order until April 12th. At this point I call to cancel, I also ask to cancel the warranty on the loveseat due to being told it covers an array of things, which come to find out is not true. The person on the phone tells me I have to go in store to cancel. Went in today and was told that since the loveseat was delivered I can't cancel the warranty. The loveseat is a week old after I have been waiting since November. At this point I ask to speak with the manager and she claims she is one. I told her I only purchased the warranty based on the false information I was given by their employees. Had I been told what it actually covers I never would have purchased it. Now she's telling me there's nothing she can do because it's policy. I look at their warranty brochure and nowhere on there is this policy stated. I then ask her to show me the policy in which she refuses. So basically they are instructing their employees to lie about warranty to coverage to make sales and then refuse to return it after I find out I was lied to. This company is awful in customer service. The icing on the cake is the exact same ashley brand bar cart that I have been waiting for since November is on Amazon and in stock. So the company doesn't have their own product in stock but Amazon does??? Purchased it today and it's coming this weekend. I will never purchase from here ever again.

We bought a hutch on clearance that looked great but fell apart when we got it home. Come to find out, the screws at the bottom were missing AND stripped. Of course it mentioned nothing about that on the sign. We also ordered 2 rugs (same size) that got delivered to our house but one rug was smaller than the other. I took a pic and wish I can attach it here but that’s not an option. I’ve called this location to try and let them know of the problems I have with ALL the products I bought from them but of course nobody ever answered. TIP: Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else.

This is a terrible store with even worse customer service. They WILL take your furniture to fulfill someone else’s order. They will CANCEL your scheduled delivery if you do not answer the phone during business hours, without a email or text confirmation. Ashley Furniture delivered a bed set for my daughter and broke the bed frame and did not tell us, instead they covered it with a blanket. When we called to complain they informed us they had to send someone out a month after to “evaluate” the furniture to see if they could fix it. In the meantime my daughter has to sleep on a broken bed frame in her bedroom. This is a terrible company with horrific customer service!!!

I have been on a 6 month quest for a new bed. I am still shocked at how much effort, diligence, and pure amount of tenacity one needs to possess in order to complete the process of becoming a new bed owner. I never fathomed the detail and intensity of just what I thought before to be a merely simple bed purchase. I was misconstrued in that notion. It wasn't until recent that my spouse and I discovered the importance of good sleep and the lack there of really is to ones health. Ashley was the 4th or 5th retailer I have had to go through the rigorous task of purchasing a new bed for my spouse and myself. I have had three other companies set me up through the entire process including financing to have sold my bed to another customer and/or delivery issues and being in the middle of the COVID pandemic... EVERYTHING IS AT A SLOW SPEED, EXCEPT AT ASHLEY! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEYOND PHENOMENAL WITH PERSONAL TOUCH FROM THE INDVIDUALS WHOM ARE ASSISTING YOU WITH YOUR NEEDS. this is a reality and had become more of a feeling of vengeance as opposed to a simple bed purchase after so many hassles gimmicks ploys and attempts to upsell when times are already hard. I've had the recent experience of being one of the living with delicate health due to severe and present health issues that make me ill absent that of the COVID, so the stress of this has definitely taken a toll on myself as it has so many others. finding a bed was more than just a moment of "i want a bed" it was a moment of "I need this bed".. . Worst customer service ever, I would give them MINUS 5! After 2 years I wanted to give them another chance and purchase from them and still worst customer services Ever!! 3 weeks Update: after we were able to connect with another(online) Rep replying to our online review, unfortunately did not help so much because base on them our order was direct ship order so we were routed to the Tacoma store again which means we are back to square one with the bad customer service. It’s been 3 week and we did not get our full or partial refund yet. Bottom line if you pay them you will not get you money back. Every supervisor/ manager on the phone in the store have the same attitude, you talk with them they will tell you something different, for example we have been told that our check is going out in the mail today and here we are after 3 week and no check yet. No transparency, no clear direction and off course no Customer service!

The experience I've had with this location had been amazing. The experience with Synchrony Bank, whom they do financing through, not so much. When I shopped and applied, I was approved for a line of credit with a limit of $2,200. Now, I've never missed a payment or been late, and suddenly my limit was knocked down to only $250! No warning, no notice! Needless to say, this decrease hurt my credit score. My score dropped 34 points! This has complicated my process of buying my first home. When I spoke to Synchrony Bank, they said it was because it was their decision and I wouldn't be given an increase, if asked in the future. Didn't offer a solution or even compassion! I will be closing my account as soon as I pay it off. To everyone, considering shopping, use the in-house financing. It may not help your credit, but at least you won't have to worry about them carelessly hurting your credit and not caring about how it hurts you.

Went in with my husband to look at a chair I had been looking at online. I didn’t necessarily want to order online and was open to buying in store if the price was the same. We were approached by Briar who informed us of the current sale (different from the website sale) and let us know he was available if we needed. He then proceeded to follow us around the entire store as we looked. We went back to the chair I originally went in looking for and discussed the price and why it was different from online. He was extremely unhelpful about the pricing and tried to talk us out of a version of this particular chair by telling us how cheaply made it was and tried to push us towards the more expensive one. Mind you, this is a chair on the Ashley website. We went back and forth on the pricing when my husband (active duty military) mentioned we could get it from the store on base for less. The salesman then informed us that it would probably take 6 months to even get the chair and that the quality would be different. So, I asked about a military discount. I guess they don’t have one. We ended up deciding we would just order online or purchase on base due to the big price difference and let this gentleman know we would be doing so. He was obviously put off by that and rudely told us “well have a good time with that!” And got up to leave. I won’t shop with Ashley ever again one because of the treatment by the staff and also because they don’t offer any discount for service members.

Do not shop here. Ray and tanner will promise you delivery dates within 2 to 3 days just to finalize the sale. Then won't deliver for 3 to four days after causing you to have to lose more time and money from not being able to work. Then when you call you are on hold for an hour waiting for a "manager" named terryl, who will not be able to help you at all. Except place you on hold for longer coming back to tell you again sorry cant do anything. We bought mattress and couch mid Feb. Lost time and money waiting for the mattress. Now having to lose more time and money for the couch. Save yourself the headache. We should have stuck with the Old Cannery.

May I a question??? If you went to 2 to 3 different stores to order say a coach and you pay majority on it or all of it. How long are you supposed to wait til you get your item? I started in November 2020 and now I'm hearing on the estimated times is going to be 4 to 6 months out on top of the 1st estimated time of Dec 24, 2020 I cash out went to another place paid majority of the bill now Im hearing because of Covid 19 no one is getting anything they are pro longing. So why ask for a down payment on items to be shipped?Knowing you will not be received your item in 4 to 6 weeks instead I've been waiting since Nov 2020 for this coach haven't received it. I was supposed to pick it up today after 4 months of extended estimated time of arrival now they are saying I'm supposed to get it in other 2 weeks. Maybe then it'll be another 2 weeks or a half a year and (thecompanyissayingthis) "Hell No we are not giving out any special discounts cause we made you wait a half a year before we decided to ship anyone's items. Then why sell anything at all knowing it's going to take up to half year for 1 item to be shipped?? Please think before you purchase Anything that is back logged or not in the store and or the estimated time 4 to 6 weeks turns into 4 to 6 months without ANY discounts but they got your money!!!

Extremely unimpressed with this company. A.A. helped us at the store to order a desk and coffee table on 2/18. We asked if these specific items would be in stock and we were assured that the items would be delivered on 2/23. Fast forward to 2/23 and we never received our order or a phone call. We looked on our paperwork today and our phone number and email is wrong. It would be fine if it was a one time mistake, but she got it wrong on BOTH ORDERS! We called customer service and it turns out that the furniture isn’t in stock and there was not a scheduled delivery for 2/23 since there was nothing to deliver. We offered to go pick up the furniture ourselves at the local warehouse and just forego the delivery all together - the furniture isn’t available until March 1st “at the earliest”. It’s extremely upsetting that 1. A.A. was too focused on her Chipotle order to pay attention to the details of a simple phone number and email and 2. That the items were never in stock, a delivery was never scheduled for 2/23 and we were lied to just to get the sale. We will never do business with this company again and we canceled our order.

They over charge and over sale products that are not needed. Sold us a premium delivery service and then delivered item in parts in box. No premium service available for this item. We had to call and chase our money and still have t completed any refund until we go into the store perhaps? Terrible service...

I was reluctant to visit this store due to the reviews but I’m glad I did. Frustrated from waiting 3 months for a sofa delivery from another furniture supplier (ahem...Wayfair), we were looking for a sofa. We found one at a great price and it was delivered (unpacked, assembled and packaging taken away) within a day and a half. The store was clean, we were greeted by any staff member we passed and our sales associate (Edward) was fantastic. Based off my experience, I couldn’t recommend this store more.

They can't deliver as promised, and their prices are too high. We cancelled a sale of a bed and found the same bed elsewhere for half the price.

Don’t shop here. You have to wait 3-4 months to get the items you bought delivered to you. On top of it they deliver your item with missing pieces. Then they don’t answer the phone and when they do they catch a attitude with you like it’s your fault they didn’t add a section of your Lcouch on there deliver truck. Good luck.

NEVER GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS STORE. I paid cash for a couch that has never come. Over 3 moths have passed since my purchase, still no couch. I was told it will be delivered on Saturday only to called and told, it didn’t fit on the truck. Then I was told Monday for sure, no delivery or even a call. The store told me 2 more weeks and it will be delivered, but never called me. Customer Service who told me the Saturday and Monday date have now said Wednesday is your date. Still waiting. Everyone has lied and not once has the store or Customer Service called me back. I made all the effort.

Business is not transparent. I was helped by an employee (A...) who deliberately lied about their shipping services and deals. My family and I made a large purchase and she failed to mention that it was cheaper online. Also, deliberately lied and stated that they do not offer free shipping and that we were welcome to pick up the furniture. Consequently, my family and I paid for additional shipping fees, which were to set up the furniture. When I found out the company does offer free shipping (drop off to door or garage), I called the employee and asked if I could return the additional shipping and get my money back. She stated I could. I do not know why they did not tell me in the first place. GOOD BUSINESSES ARE BUILT ON TRANSPARENCY AND GOOD EMPLOYEES. If you want to retain your customer base, you have to be honest. Everyone that works there LOOKS and feel like a car salesman. I understand you guys are commission based, but the manager should instill core values that will help with future business. I will never shop here again because I’m DISAPPOINTED at the lack of RESPECT for customers.

I had very bad experience with this Store if l could given them 0 l will do it but l cant I hope this review helps others before they go buy anything from this store pay attention in the policies because they don't have a return policy even if you have a wrong color or dislike or simple you don't need it anymore also they can add it things to your bill without telling you or explained to you this is my worst experience that l had so far. The only reason for 1 star is because I can’t give 0 stars. We went into this location 2 weeks ago with the intention of purchasing an entire new bedroom set. First of all the sales associate, Andondrea, seemed entirely distracted the entire time she was helping us. Like she could barely be bothered to get our order placed. You would think since they likely work on commission, she would take a huge order like this seriously. The entire process to get our $6k order placed was a nightmare. She couldn’t figure out how to complete it correctly and had to ask three different other sales associates for help. She “scheduled” us for delivery, ensured us that WAS our delivery date and reiterated to us we will receive a confirmation call for the delivery. Which we never received. So I called the store and they informed me they NEVER HAD ANY DELIVERY SET UP FOR US AT ALL. EVER. Which after reading a lot of the other reviews now, this is a common theme with these people. The customer service could not give us any rhyme or reason as to why this was overlooked or why this happened. I informed them I am almost 36 weeks pregnant, we are moving into our new home tomorrow and we were counting on having a bed to sleep on tomorrow. I asked for some type of accommodation to ensure we get our delivery tomorrow. All I got was an apology, and was told there is nothing they could do for the next week or so. We switched to pick up and instead of accommodating us and allowing us to pick up at the end of the night tonight, we have been told they can’t make any accommodations, there are no appointments available. So who knows when we will have a bed! I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior, from start to finish (well it’s not even finished yet), from such a well known and used store. I’m highly disappointed and we will be taking our business elsewhere from now on and I highly encourage others to do the same.

Salesperson was good at her job. Helped me find what I wanted and made sure I got the best price. Speaking of that, why are prices online and in the store different? Anyways, my order was $4500 and I paid $298 for shipping. It has now been 6 months sincd I placed my order and have yet to receive my tv stand. The alleged availability/delivery date keeps getting pushed out and us now late March. 8 months!? Calling the customer service phone gets only someone looking in the computer and telling me the current status. The front desk people have failed to communicate on my requests for updates both in person (not following up) and via email. The manager got corporate to allow me to buy the floor model. They gave no offer to refund part of my delivery charge. On arrival, the item had damage and there was no offer for a discount until aftee I refused to take the damaged tv stand. The front desk again, has promised me a new update to get my tv stand delivered and I have yet to get said update. This sales staff is great at their job and the delivery people did a good, professional job with the items I did receive. However, the store/company does not care for the customer once they have your money.

Was not excited about the styles they have. Seems overpriced for how cheap a lot of it looked.

I chose to pick up my item from the warehouse as the delivery seemed a bit too expensive for what I purchased & it’s not very big. If I would have gone to any other store, I could have taken it home with me that day. They gave me info to make an appointment at the warehouse, but the phone just rings with no answer & no recording or voicemail. I tried to contact the store through the online chat, they transferred me to a different department 5 times & nobody ever tried to help me. Then I called, after being on hold for an extensive period they contacted the warehouse to request a pickup time. But they can only request a time that’s in the middle of the workday. So now I have to leave work to go pick up my purchase. The salesman was professional. but to get your purchases, you have to either pay high delivery rates or jump through hoops to pick up. I won’t be shopping at Ashley ever again.

We placed an order on October 25, 2020. 3 months later, we still have not received it. It had been delayed 3, oops 4 times now. During our wait we have also noticed that one of the pieces we wanted was never added to the original order. We went back into the store to add the piece to the order, but they wouldn’t add it to the original finance option we had. Our salesperson’s (the original person who helped us) response? Are you mad? Well yeah. Had it been done correctly in the first place we wouldn’t be back in here and we wouldn’t be having this issue. She also was unaware that the 5 year extended protection plan that they push on you doesn’t even cover the electrical components of furniture that have outlets such as nightstands or sofas/loveseats. I also inquired about a piece that was damaged upon delivery on a previous order. She just bypassed it and never addressed the issue. This place is a joke. It took 6 weeks for a technician to come to our house only to be to be told to contact the extended warranty company that told me I had to go through the store. So done

Bought a bedroom set from an unprofessional associate who guaranteed that all my furniture would be sent together on a certain date. The order was delayed four times. The headboard came cracked, the people who delivered and assembled the bed called the store to report it. Was never told about a 72 hour policy that they have after delivering the items. The store failed to inform me about this policy even after I told them I couldn't schedule someone to come out right away, and that I'd call back. I will never come back and I will never recommend anyone to shop here.

It’s been months since we bought a bedroom set only for them to deliver a bed that is broken and can’t be put together. We were told we would get a call within 24 hours to see about getting the piece needed and it’s been another 3 weeks and NOTHING. Every time I call the location I’m told it’s closed and it’s no later than 5pm PST. The “deals” aren’t worth the trouble when you pay thousands of dollars for furniture you can’t use because it can’t be assembled The sale staff at the location are nice enough but “nice” doesn’t get me the furniture I paid for delivered in a timely fashion in operational condition.

Customer service gets you nowhere. You be forced to leave a voicemail and they do not return calls. I have been waiting over 2 months for a refund. The store can't help and the national call center ignores calls and online chat messages.

I ordered a table set from Ashley Furniture Online on December 2, 2020. I was never told the delivery would be in two parts.....the chairs first and the table at a later date. The chairs came a week after my purchase. When I contacted Ashley I was told the table would be delivered a few days later. Apparently, the table was damaged while in transit which I only found out about after contacting them to inquire about the delivery status. Another table was supposedly shipped out and I was told I would receive it by 12/22/2020. I have yet to receive my table. No one from Ashley has contacted me with any updates or ETA information. Ashley HAS NOT taken accountability for inconveniencing me at all!!! I contacted them again asking to speak with management only to be told they have no control once items have been shipped. It has been such a struggle to track down my order with Fed Ex so I contacted Ashley again asking them to please use re-ship and send it UPS instead of Fed Ex. I was told by Ashley they have no control over which carrier the warehouse decides to use. I am so disappointed and disgusted by the lack of concern and professionalism I have experienced with Ashley Furniture. This is unacceptable!!!

Kurt was helpful, fun and made sure we found exactly what we were looking for. We also got the best price and discounts without asking. Yes, we had looked online before going onto the store. We wanted to sit down and feel the lo e seats before purchasing. We walked out with a better deal than we hoped for. Including deluxe delivery. Everything will be unpacked, set up and cleaned up for us.

I have waited 5 months for my order to arrive and every time my order kept getting pushed back I had to actually go in and cancel my order, all I ordered was a couch and an end table. Furniture does not spread or contract the coronavirus and the furniture is loaded by machines so the excuses can stop. The customer service is really rude i get a goose chase when all i want to do is speak with a manager. Never again will i shop here.

If you want to buy furniture that you will receive 12 months later, then this is the place to go. They will tell you a date for delivery, fail to call you about pushing the date, and waste your time. Great customer service in store!

Honestly never going to buy from Ashley‘s furniture again everything I purchased was either cracked shattered or broken i’ve been waiting since August for my headboard it came in but it is broken I had to repair it and they are pieces missing from my drawers it is so scratched up and they won’t do anything about it I honestly wish I could give this one stars but it is so bad worst furniture store in history

Edit: Changed from 1 to 2 stars because of one great customer service rep (not associated with store) who helped us a lot. Also love the couch, now that we finally have it. Lots of mistakes and poor communication: Our original in-store purchase was ordered incorrectly because they ordered furniture that had been discontinued and they no longer stocked. We discovered this ourselves, they never caught the issue. We were understanding and decided to replace the order for the correct furniture and possibly wait longer for it to come in. We were frustrated, but they refunded us a small amount to try to make it right. No problem. Our furniture was supposed to be delivered today and I even received tracking information via a text message for the truck that was supposed to deliver it. Now, after waiting all day for the delivery, the tracking disappeared. I called the store for them to inform me my furniture isn't even at the warehouse and they "Have no idea" why I didn't get a call informing me of this. They basically have no clue as to why all of this is messed up and gave me no answers. Now I am expected to wait 2-3 more weeks on top of the 4+ weeks I have already waited. I understand delays, but they have had absolutely zero communication with us throughout this entire process. These mistakes are only found when we call and wait on hold to inform them of their mistakes. I would not recommend this store and will be shopping elsewhere in the future. UPDATE: Customer service called us after to assure me our furniture would be delivered in a few days. We then called the store to verify this and they denied and said the delivery wouldn’t happen for 3 weeks, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE OUR FURNITURE IN WAREHOUSE. Zero communication. Another update: an amazing customer service rep (not affiliated with the store) informed us our couches have actually been sitting in the warehouse but our ottoman, that the store had told us was in stock, wouldn’t arrive for two more weeks. We set up an appointment through him to pick up the couches ourselves at the warehouse in a couple of days.

So I've bought a lot of furniture at Ashley in the last 3 year. Never had a problem until today. I want to buy another accent chair that I bought last Christmas. I have seen the chair all over online between $270-$340 I go into the store to have them price match it as like they always have and they wouldn't. They were trying to sell it for $800 and with there promotions they had going on they said it's $500.00. Also I got a coupon from them for $100.00. They would not do a price match or use my coupon that they gave me for having a Ashley credit card. So I go online the original price for the chair is $540. How is this company saying a product is $300 cheaper than what it is in the store? Is that even legal?

Horrible store. Bought furniture over a year and a half ago. After financing they did not have a coffee table so we canceled that item from our order. Resigned financing paperwork. Now the finance company that they don't use anymore is saying we owe them the original amount. Ashley did not refund the finance company the money for the coffee table we never received. I have contacted corporate, and taken all the necessary documents in to the store directly and they have done nothing to rectify their mistake. I will not pay for furniture I never bought or received and Ashley has essentially stolen the money from the finance company. My credit is being lowered and Ashley refuses to do what is necessary to fix the problem. They are thieves and I will never do business there again. They also don't answer their phone when you try to call the store directly. They don't deserve even 1 star but it won't let me post without it.

If I could give them a negative rating I would. I drove to Tukwila for a black Friday special they advertised locally but apparently only had in OR. They don't answer the phone so I coundn't call first to see if they had any in stock. We bought a recliner while we were there and are supposed to call to set up an appointment for pick up, but again no one answers the phone at the warehouse #,their " CUSTOME CARE" #, or the # for their Tukwila store. Worst customer service ever!

First things first, if you want a Temper Pedic mattress or power base, do not buy from them! They don’t take returns but Temper Pedic stores do. I was promised my furniture before November 24th, now they are saying Dec 7th. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Once they have your money, they don’t care!

Worst service I experienced of any retailer in the USA. I purchased a sofa and a rug from them, and when the rug arrived I found that I was having a severe allergic reaction to it. I immediately took it back to the store to return it. In the store I walked over to customer service and said I want to return the rug, and the lady in front of the counter said “haha! Good luck, we don’t do returns here!” I paid $400 for this rug and can’t use it and these people are laughing at me. I then spoke to the lady behind the counter, to who I said that I need to return the rug. It only sat on my floor for a day or two. I told her I am having severe allergies to it and my face swells up and sinuses close up when I’m near it. She just said “we don’t do returns, it’s on the receipt, sorry”, “I suggest putting it on offer up or something”. But nobody told me they don’t do returns when I was handing them my $2100. They also couldn’t tell me how long it would take for my couch to arrive until after I had given them my money. Now I found out it’s on back order until March next year. That’s minimum 4 months until I get it! Worst service ever!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Super shady business. I got a store credit for about a 1300 bucks and half a year later they tried to say we actually owed them then 1300. We explained it was a store credit and they said they couldn’t honor it due to the gm being replaced and there weren’t any notes to back it up in my account. I went to silverdale and they printed off my account with a note in the account clear as day explaining it was a store credit. Once I showed this store the print out they were finally willing to help

Do not buy from this company and if for some reason you do, do not buy the extended warranty! Last year I bought a reclining sofa, loveseat and chair from Ashley as well as an extended warranty. Less than a year later the mechanism carriage on my sofa is bent, causing the couch to become off balance when reclined and very uncomfortable to sit in. The couch is used by my 175 lb husband and 80 lb nine year old not a football team, so I was a little alarmed at the fact that it had bent in under a year. When I called and was finally able to get a hold of someone from the extended warranty company they told me to call Ashley because it was under a year. After finally getting a hold of someone in customer service (which took a week of calling) I was able to get a technician to come out and look at my sofa. When the technician arrived he informed me that the mechanism was bent. Not a problem a high quality company would surely stand behind their product and fix a couch where one of the major components bends in less than a year...NOPE. The technician informed me that the part is not under warranty. I would need to PURCHASE the part from Ashley. They do offer to have a technician come out and replace the part you purchased for free which I suppose is better than nothing but not really.This service is available anytime after your purchase 1 year or 10 years. Which brings me to my next point, the extended warranty. When we purchased it the sales associate told us it covered EVERYTHING, rips, stains, breakage, my dog destroying it EVERYTHING. Well it turns out that the extended warranty does not cover the mechanism bending. All of this leads me to believe that the mechanism bending must be a common thing because neither Ashley or their extended warranty company will stand behind this part. How is a piece of metal bending in under a year not covered under warranty? What other major components of your product do you not stand behind? I cannot support a company that does not stand behind what they sell. I will never purchase from this company again.

Please save your money and time and don’t shop here I purchased something and was told & we checked it was in stock I tried calling for two weeks to pick it up and was told they didn’t have it in stock When they finally answered! I go back to the store and the only option was 1. Get a refund that can take up to 2 weeks 2. Wait another two weeks for product . Obviously I asked for a refund this was more than 2 weeks ago and I still haven’t received my money! I paid cash so I can’t do anything about it! Phone customer service sucks.

I purchased my whole living room there. They sell this montage warranty that I paid over $350 for it. After a year my furniture starts to falling apart I called montage didn’t resolve anything. So I came back to this place trying to get help from them no luck at all. I will never buy my furniture again from this company. 😡

This store is a JOKE! The staff are extremely incompetent. They DO NOT know how to do their jobs properly. They make mistake after mistake, then make you feel like it's your fault for their mistakes. The people at the front desk are EXTREMELY rude and not very accommodating. RUN FAR AWAY from Ashley Home Furniture....

My husband and I arrived to look at dual recliners, either loveseat or couch. The store did look nice, crammed full of furniture options. We did have 1 salesperson say hi. Noone offered to help us by asking if we were looking for anything in particular, interested, could they show us anything. Maybe we looked like we knew what we wanted and didn't need any help. But we did have questions. I guess in the end it was okay, because we decided we should have just stuck with our original thought, and to buy from Costco, where we'll pay 1/3 of the price.
