Do not recommend buying anything from this store, we went in last week for a reselect and picked a different couch were told it was being marked as sold and they would call us once we were able to bring ours back. Never received a call and called the store today to get an update, they told us that the new one we picked was damaged and asked us to come look at it to make sure we still want it only to be told by the manager Nate that he just sold it and that it was being discontinued and basically just told us we were out of luck. We checked at another Ashley and it is available and now being ordered.

The furniture is made from the cheapest materials and extremely overpriced. They had a piece in Nitro and told me it would take 2 weeks or longer to get it delivered to me even after I paid a fee. The frame feels flimsy.

From the moment I walked in all 3 times( couldn't make my mind up)😜 I was greeted warmly by associate Josh Hill. He took the time to listen to what i was looking for. He provided expert advice on the furniture pieces i was looking at. What impressed me the most was his honesty, Josh keep me informed every step of the way explaining in detail the process from purchasing, financing,&delivery. And he also in a graceful cool way put up with 2 elderly ladies that could not make their minds up about what end tables would match, he moved three sets of tables for us🤗 and he keep his cool about it✌️ So my experience was top notch at 'Ashley Furniture' And yes i made the purchase🤗

We placed an order for bedroom furniture on March 9th. Went to pick it up and the bed was broken. 5 times we have gotten a bed that has been broken. Now we are waiting another 4-5 weeks on a replacement. We have spoken with Nate the store manager and just let me say….. there customer service obviously isn’t there top priority. No communication from anyone including the district manager Jamie Miller. We are getting ready to have to make a payment on furniture we haven’t even received yet!! Very frustrated and aggravated customer!!!

Great assistance in selecting a mattress. Matt seemed very knowledgeable about what we needed to have a restful sleep according to the machine showing how we position ourselves to sleep and recommended an array of options. Alittle miscommunication in regards to getting our old mattress picked up during the delivery of the new. I was told that it was added to the delivery order however it was not per the delivery guys. I was asked to stop in the store to pick up a mattress bag for the men to take the old mattress but they had no record of them to do so. They were great and agreed to take it since I had gotten the bag. They were fast and efficient in the set up.

Barney did a wonderful job helping us decide what was best for our home. We appreciate all his help and knowledge. We will definitely be back for our bedroom furniture. Barney we will see you soon.

Purchased a couch at Ashley, the salesman Matt was absolutely great. He greeted us when we came in and gave us space and time to look around without hounding us. Once we kind of knew what we wanted he was very knowledgeable and got us a great day. Matt was a great salesman.

Updated post 3-12-24. 👎 Ashley Distribution Center in Nitro is horrible to work with if you don’t get your furniture in a timely manner. Which we did not. They will tell you anything to either get you out of their face (if you go there directly) or tell you anything to get you off the phone. I called several weeks in a row about an end table and 1 dining room chair that I had not received. Advised to call by my sales rep. Was given the run around every time. My sales person drove to Bridgeport to pick up my end table just last week. I still have not received my dining room chair which the warehouse told me would be delivered today. They told me this last Thursday 3-6-24 when I visited the warehouse in person. Original order was placed 12-23-24. I will not be shopping at Ashley Furniture again. Sorry Steve Cross (Sales Rep). You were great. Not your fault.

We purchased a new bedroom set in order to move to king size mattress. Love the furniture. It seems solid and well-made. The delivery team was great. They were fast and efficient. Both employees were very nice and professional. Have me notice shortly before arrival so I knew when to expect them.

I will not return ever again to Ashley Furniture. Purchased a couch, loveseat, and ottoman in February. Couch was returned because it wouldn’t fit through my hall way into the living room. I then repurchased a reclining sofa that comes apart so that it would fit. Day of delivery the driver calls saying BOTH roads are blocked to our house can we meet them and do we have a truck they can strap it onto??? We met them and had them follow us to our house just to have them say they can’t get it in, and that it was NOT a sofa that could come apart. They then took this second couch back to the warehouse! I called and spoke to a manager who tried to track them down. Fast forward to today April 17 and I’m back to Ashley furniture to try to see where my couch is and when it’s going to be redelivered. The store manager didn’t seem to be to worried, referred me to the sales person who did call the delivery manager. We shall see if the couch finally gets here next week. Never again with this company.

Bunk beds for the kids. TV’s and more. Close to eateries and other shopping. Interstate is less than 5 miles away. Nice staff. Eager to help. Frank I believe helped me try to find certain items. Plenty of parking.

Purchased bedroom furniture and a kitchen table in early February and was told that I’d be contacted FEBRUARY 19th to schedule delivery. It’s March 4th and I haven’t heard a peep from Ashley. So, I called this morning to find out what’s going on, and was told I needed to speak to my sales rep? Not sure why as I’m sure it would’ve taken less time for them to look my purchase up and provide an updated than it took for Jordan to place me on hold, only to tell me I need to leave a message for my sales person. Terrible customer service and no furniture.

I have to admit, when I walked in and they immediately told me who my assigned salesman was going to be, I was a little nervous. I wanted to shop by myself and not be hounded by a salesman. To my surprise, my assigned salesman, Steve, introduced himself, and then told me to find him when I needed him. I loved that. I was able to shop by myself, but when I needed someone or had questions, I had a person to go to. Once I found a living room set that I liked, Steve help me measure it and went through all the pricing and financing options very well. He is very nice and knowledgeable. The store manager, Nate, was also very kind and willing to work with me on some financing. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this store, and would recommend it to other people.

I would not have given one star but I had to in order to write a review. My dad bought a couch here and had it delivered. When it arrived, it was the wrong couch. My dad has a very small living room and a larger couch would be too big. My dad has the couch loaded up and returns it himself. When he got to the store he was told that his money couldn't be refunded automatically that they would have to mail him a check. I personally have never had a business to refund a payment by check. It's just a click away to return a payment back to the card the purchase was made on. Three months later my dad went to his mailbox to send out the form he had filled out to send to the BBB and his check from Ashley Furniture was in his mailbox. THREE months to refund his payment . Pathetic. My dad recently needed to purchase a dining room set and I suggested Ashley not knowing his prior experience. His response was "not even if they were giving them away" .

The salesman was very personable and helped carry my stuff to my car. I had bought cool tech pillows and cool tech sheets. If you haven’t tried them you need to. The sheets are so soft and cool. It feels so good to crawl in bed at night. The pillows are so comfortable and cool to the touch too! I love them so much I was buying some for Christmas gifts for my grown children. They make wonderful gifts!!

Went to the Ashley store in Charleston to look for a new dining room table and was greeted by Jennifer when we walked in. She showed us all the different tables in our price range and left us to look at them and decide on the one we wanted. Store had way more selection than the one we have in Beckley. I love to look around at all of the different furniture pieces at Ashley. Wonderful furniture but a little on the expensive side. Jamie was the awesome salesman who waited on me. He spent a lot of time helping me to make up my mind and was very patient with me. Although this was not his fault, it came as quite a shock to me when the paperwork was all done, and the total price was twice as much as what the couch cost. I got it on a 5-year no interest payment plan. I definitely love the couch but I don't feel it was worth the price that I'm going to end up paying. I only gave it four stars because of the price, but the service was worth five stars!

The sales lady at the store was wonderful. The delivery men were great and very polite. The receiving of the bed was terrible! We were told it would be delivered Aug 10th then it changed to Aug 14th then it changed again to Aug 20th. It took over a month to get our $10,000 bed and two weeks of sleeping on the couch because we had our mattress removed.for delivery of our new one on the 10th. Not happy at all.

Matt Thaxton at the South ridge location is the best sales person I have ever worked with. He was accommodating, he knew his inventory, and he was very helpful in getting everything set up for me, even when there were delivery issues and other hiccups. Because of him, I would shop at Ashley again without question.

Purchased a sectional couch and there was a mess-up on one of the end pieces. Called management, they took care of it and got a replacement delivered. Management at the store and the delivery department was very professional and friendly. Roy Adams was top notch throughout the process!

I'm absolutely in love with my new furniture and all the help and understanding from Ashley's furniture. I'm a single mom and living on a single parents budget isn't always easy, but they were always understanding when it came to making my payments for my layaway. Not to mention the delivery team was so good. I have a three-year-old son, and one of the guys especially was extra sweet to him. It really made my sons day so much he didn't want the guy to leave. My all around experience was amazing and I highly suggest going to Ashley's for your furniture needs.

I chose "Not Applicable" on delivery time because the truck broke down on the way, causing unavoidable delay. The young men who delivered the furniture were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and justifiably proud of their work when it was finished. From truck to setup, they were extremely careful not to leave a mark anywhere. It was a very satisfactory delivery and setup.

Terrible company paid thousands of dollars for a piece of furniture and paid 100’s of dollars for a warranty that won’t repair my furniture. What’s the point of the warranty if it’s not going to cover anything

Paid $2,200 for a sectional plus an additional $400 for the warranty. The chaise part, which was poorly made had snapped on the back rest. This has been a problem for every sectional they have sold like this. They will not replace the chaise piece. They charged me $400 on a warranty that honors nothing. The best they can do it send a tech out to “repair” the piece by taking out a piece of wood & replacing it with a stronger piece. Is that a $400 dollar job? The sag on the cushion will not be corrected by doing this either. Ashley Furniture should be ashamed of themselves.

Had the perfect salesman. I came in looking for relatively inexpensive furniture that met particular personal requirements. He took my wife and I around to items meeting my desires and was very friendly. I chose to check out expensive items and my wife and I decided we wanted to spend more. He continued to give us the same level of great service. All to often it seems salespeople treat you differently based on what you want to spend or they try to upsell you, that was not my experience here. A great place to shop for what you want, rather than what the salesperson wants to push.

I got a beautiful large sectional and the quality is amazing so far. The ladies jen and jennifer in store helped me so much and was extremely nice! I did have some mess ups but not on them. I picked up my couch and got it home to find a piece was broken so I exchanged them and then the pieces was ripped so they ordered more and let me keep the ripped ones until then. They gave me free delivery and it was just delivered and set up and the delivery men was AMAZING and so nice! Professional with a sense of humor. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! If I could leave less than one star, I would. The salesperson I dealt with was fantastic, but the delivery was beyond terrible. I paid extra for assembly of a child’s loft bed, but when the delivery people arrived they initially told me their drill was “acting up” so they were sure they could do it. I gave them my drill to use, but they didn’t get that far. They unboxed the bed and had pieces spread all over my daughter’s room and then called me in to tell me there were no directions in the boxes, so they couldn’t assemble it. I was able to find the instructions online and print them out and I went downstairs, assuming they were working. An hour later, they call me back to the room and not ONE piece had been moved from where it was an hour before. They told me that the wrong parts were inside the boxes and they couldn’t assemble it. I quickly looked through the parts and was not convinced that pieces were missing. This all happened on a Saturday night and I was told there was nothing I could do but call customer service on Monday. The room was completely unable to be used because of all the pieces that were scattered around so I told them there was no way I could wait until Monday. In the two hours they were there, all they did was try to think of reasons not to put it together. I even overheard them complaining about how long it was going to take, how they should have gotten dinner first, etc. I was beyond disappointed and asked them to box everything back up and give me a refund.

Our recliner broke after only 9 months of normal use to rock the baby. Our other purchase, well, I've never owned a couch that wasn't sturdy enough to sit on the arms for a moment but now I have. It feels like it's going to break off. Cheapest furniture I have ever had. The stuffing is inconsistent. The first recliner was low on stuffing but the second recliner was over stuffed. I literally had to cut a hole in the back and pull out stuffing. In the couch there is a center console with cup holders but it is hard to open because it is overstuffed in a spot where nobody can sit. The console does not move to open up to a third seat but they stuffed the back directly behind it so full that it is very hard to open. I'm very surprised and disappointed in the quality of the couch set I purchased here. Also, my in-store experience was not great. Cliff was not honest about pricing and was controlling about keeping other salesman away from us when we wanted to talk to them.

10/10 best couch ever, and the delivery team was the bomb!! They were super quick, communicated well and worked as a great team! Those guys were the best!!

My first time writing a review. Just upset with Ashley since the day I walked in the store. Salesman assured me it'd be delivered in 2 weeks. Until they got my payment. Ended up being 8 weeks, if I hadn't been tricked I felt, id have been fine with it. I live alone, have had this sofa and chair a year in July. I kept it covered all winter because of the light color. And poor quality fabric, has pulled apart around edges, seems fabric is not one piece. Bought the warranty & Dont waste of your money. They aren't going to cover because of the quality of fabric. Had it been an accident or pet stain they would have. Really ?? So DONE with Ashley Furniture !!

We had purchased our dining room set from the online store and paid to have it delivered and set up. The 5 chairs were delivered by FedEx then had to wait 4-5 months for the table. When the table was delivered, we were told they could not put together the chairs even though we had paid the extra for set up. I called and was given a refund for the set up fee and they also replaced our table top that had been delivered with scratches on the sides. All in all, it was a good experience.

This store, by far, has the worst customer service ever. Lee is very rude and does not communicate well with his customers. I have called and left several messages and not once has he returned my or my boyfriends call. I can understand a furniture shortage at this time during the pandemic, however Lee was neither honest or did he communicate with us on how long our delivery would take. My boyfriend went down to the location in south ridge where Lee works to sort out this issue and inquire about our refund that already supposed to have been given and Lee’s behavior towards him was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this particular location to anyone or if you do go here, avoid working with Lee as his is unprofessional and quite rude. The worst customer service I have ever experienced at any Ashley location I’ve ever shopped from.

Take your money anywhere else. These people will tell you whatever they can to get you to buy. Months of waiting for furniture, told it’d be a “few weeks”, no one will answer the phone, when they do answer they can only cancel the order but it’ll cost over a thousand dollars to do that. Absolute joke of a company. Please buy anywhere else.

We were greeted by a nice man. He ask us what we were looking for we told him a bed. I told him I wanted a Hybrid bed. He told us that he could show us some and then he could let me lay on the bed that show us my pressure points. My daughter said let's just go straight to that step. He was very informative and answered all our questions. His name is Mr. Lee Miller. Great place!! Great people!! Highly Recommended and Appreciated.

Matt and Caitlin at the Ashley Furniture store in Charleston are amazing. My daughter went in and told Matt what she needed. He immediately helped her. It was fast and easy. Great experience with two fantastic and sweet people.

I hate to do ANY shopping of any kind. I go online and look beforehand because I don’t want to be in a store forever. Matt showed us exactly what we found online - they had a display there - and had us out of there in no time 😀. He was very nice, friendly, and extremely easy to deal with.

The power recliner loveseat that I ordered hade a bent bar causing the right chair to get "hung up" when operating. When I contacted Ashley explaining the situation they thought they could replace a part then realized they had to replace the loveseat. They were great. They contacted me several times letting me know what needed to be done and when I could expect the new loveseat. The team that delivered the replacement loveseat were very friendly and professional. The team was quick and efficient while making me feel like I was their only customer. I never felt like they were rushing the appointment even though they weren't here for a long time. Went to Beckley location with a truck and a $4,000 line of credit. Needed a recliner now! Salesman gave me every reason in the world why he could not meet my needs. Left frustrated. Went to Charleston location. Within 20 minutes I was on my way to pick up my new recliner completely satisfied. Excellent excellent service

Delivered to my neighbors, drove through my yard (repeatedly)and across my newly poured driveway and cracked it. I called the store repeatedly requesting to speak to someone in upper management and never received a return call.

My fiance and I have been here a couple times in the past 2 weeks trying to find living room furniture we'd be interested in purchasing. The store is very clean and well-organized and a staff member is always ready to help. Bethany helped us and she was extremely insightful when letting us know about store policies, how the online price match really works, and genuinely seemed to care about getting us the best deal that she could offer. Customer service was excellent. The only reason I'm leaving a 4* review is because of the website's lack of transparency regarding the price matching procedure; everything about our treatment and experience at the store was great.

We are fine about it a delivery That was supposed to be made and they said it was available to be delivered cuz it was at the store but they could not deliver it until the 6th of July and the lady I was with she wanted it delivered as soon as possible and paid to be delivered but they said they were backed up and had to wait until July 6th

Yesterday I visited Ashley HomeStore and had a great experience. Bethany helped me find exactly what I was looking for and I will be coming back!

I had no problem with the service I received, it was the delivery. I paid extra for delivery and set up. As they were bringing my furniture in they knocked a hanging off my door, hit pictures on the wall and hit other pieces of furniture too. They put the mirror on the dresser but didn’t tighten the screws. When I moved the dresser the mirror pulled back almost coming loose. They had one bolt to hook the rails to the headboard. Informed me I would have to get bolts and do that myself. So, I not only had to buy bolts, I had to pay someone else to finish my set up. When I contacted my salesperson all I got was I’m so sorry. Not very happy with the outcome.

By far one of the worst furniture stores I have ever been to. Terrible customer service. No one use Lee Miller in the store he is rude he will get in your face terrible terrible customer service.

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley. They have a wide selection and I won’t have to wait months for my purchase, as other stores told me. Of course a furniture store is just a furniture store. What set Ashley apart for me is the service. Ryan Anderson was very helpful and polite. He took me right to what I was looking for, answered all my questions, and, knowing my use for the sectional, pointed out it’s pros and cons. He suggested a warranty, but was not a hard sell. (I bought it anyways - kids.) He gave us plenty of time alone to wander and consider our choices, but in the end we went with his suggestion. A few weeks later, I went back for a king size mattress, chairs and tables. Again, Ryan’s experience paid off in helping me choose my items. He didn’t mention at first the adjustable base for the bed, because it significantly adds to the cost. He also helped with that as well. He is very polite and conscious of the value of my time, listening and not wasting it by selling items I didn’t want or need. His suggestion to wait for tables until I saw the filled space was a great idea. All and all he made the process enjoyable and efficient. I’ll definitely go back and recommend Ashley to anyone who asks, and I bet they will once they see the furniture in my home. And yes, this is a real review. Thank goodness for autocorrect and spell check. :)
