I will start my review by saying that the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. That is about where the positive ends. I purchased a queen bed and two nightstands back on Black Friday weekend, and it was to be delivered today. That said after all of my confirmation calls from the delivery folks I received a call late yesterday afternoon to let me know they could not deliver the bed, as it had failed their quality check, and there were issues with the headboard. Things should be checked right when they get them, not the day before they are to be delivered. Now, I am forced to wait to get that room set up in my new home because they have to reorder the bed. I ordered it early specifically so I would be ensured that it would be in the week that I closed, and when I did my deliveries of any new items. Now we have to make other plans because of the negligence of Ashley not checking things when they are received.

Michael the Manager and Lauren are amazing!!! If you are in need of furniture I highly recommend stopping here and talking to either one of them! They both were extremely helpful in trying to find us what we wanted for our new home.

We recently bought a new furniture set from Ashley Morgantown. The overall purchasing experience was fine. The salesmen were helpful and kind. Actually receiving our product and the delivery was the problem. We bought a three-piece set. After waiting a month for delivery, only two pieces were brought to our home. We were notified that the wrong color couch was put on the truck, so they took it off. It took another few weeks to get the couch delivered. Was told it would be expedited, but luck brought it to us or we’d still be waiting. When it was finally delivered, the delivery team tracked mud through our living room. Told we would be compensated, then ignored after the piece came. We will not purchase from Ashley again.

If your not sure on what type of furniture/mattress to buy, get in contact with Lauren Demus. She thoroughly knows every detail of the products they sell. She helped us from start to finish and made the process very easy!

Went out to explore some options on a couch and found a couch and loveseat set we liked. Our sales person Bryce was above EVERY expectation I have for customer service and that should not possible because I have trained with no less than 617 Karen’s. From the moment he introduced himself and asked to help, to when he showed up Delivery day and saved my cat from the bears and my dog from the fire he has been an asset I never imagined I’d have in my life. We love the couch loveseat AND coffee table. (He worked with us a bit on the numbers and yes he’s good, I’ve said that.) The delivery team was amazing as well. Never seen a man eat 6lbs of cardboard before that day, but as promised they cleaned up after themselves and left no mess, no damage, and very little fear of follow up dinosaur. There was a slight mix up and they delivered the wrong coffee table the first day but Bryce managed to throw one (undamaged!) from the store to my house in one try a few days later so I have zero complaint and a lot of awe. 10/10 would eat here again.

I visited Ashley’s furniture earlier this year and had an excellent experience. Being new to the area I had quite the list of things I needed. We were greeted at the door by Aimee, after greeting us she was right to work. Purchased a couch 8 months ago, barely even used for 2 months. One of the seats is sagging. I was told it's normal wear, not covered under warranty. DO NO BUY FROM HERE. FURNITURE WILL NOT LAST!!! Update: Mike Susa the manager reached out and made everything right.

I had a great experience with Ashley's furniture. Nathan (the salesperson) was very professional throughout the process and gave me competitive prices. He kept in touch many times a week until the stuff was ready to deliver and then connected me to the delivery people. I hope the management recognizes the hardworking and honest salesperson who takes care of his customers.

We purchased this twin box spring for our 5 year old sons bedroom. Within the year we have had to replace it. The top is cover by cardboard and every one x board is broken. We will never buy from Ashley again. We purchased a sectional for over $3,000 and had the same issue with the lounge part of the couch breaking within the week of us having the couch! Very dissatisfied!

Do not purchase from here. Overpriced JUNK, warranty sold to us is basically worthless, only covers accidental rips or tears, stains. We haven't had the couch for 2 years. The ottoman ripped and collapsed on itself. The rip isn't covered because it was on the platform? The frame isn't even covered for damage, the corner piece is made so poorly the platform is stretching the fabric causing it to sag. This isn't normal wear and tear! We don't use it often, and our animals aren't allowed on it, the fabric is pilling just from normal vacuuming. Our cheap sams club leather couches held up soooooo much better and our dogs were allowed on them! Save your money and the headache!!

My first experience buying furniture that had everything I want and wasn't a hand me down or bought used. Everyone was friendly. Our Salesman, Cody was very nice and easy to talk to. He gave us space to debate but also helped answer our questions because boy we had them. We got a great price on a couch that had all the extra bells and whistles we wanted while still being super comfy and in a color we liked. Id found my way to the set but honorable mention to Nathan (who was also very helpful even though he wasnt getting the sale) because he pointed us right to that couch. I can't wait to get it in. I waited almost a month for my new matress an frame to come in an when it got here i didn’t realize i paid $400 for a very very. Very cheap bed not to mention they new it was cheap when they sent. Only 3 little very thin pieces of board for under the bed an sent cheap plastic legs to support the cheap wood by day to the cheap plastic leg broke . So now i have to go buy new stuff to fix my bed bc i have only have had this bed for 4 days an day 2 it was broke an im not gonna send it back an not have a bed at all to get it fixed . So i have to say im very unsatisfied withe the bed frame an i reccomend saving your $400 instead of a couple pieces of twig frame . Not a happy customer an will no longer buy from ashleys

The customer service at this store is OUTSTANDING! My first time ever walking in the store, there was so much to see and I had so many questions. Aimee Lingerfelt was particularly amazing. She answered all my questions I had about buying and financing options. Then, she walked around the store with me and gained an understanding of the things I liked. She then quickly took a look in the computer system to see what options they had that would be delivered sooner, as we are moving very soon and didn’t want to wait the normal quoted amount of time. She was so pleasant the entire time and genuinely happy to help. I will definitely be going back in the near future for more pieces—and asking for Aimee! The quality and pricing of furniture was also great! Must shop furniture destination!

If you don’t mind never being updated and waiting way longer than told and paying higher prices than furniture is worth…. I mean at least it’s ummm well it’s uh…. The pros are ummm…idk but I’m sure there is something. TL;DR nothing in stock; overpriced; delivery times 3 to 6times longer than expected; no follow ups or information.

We ordered a sectional in July and was told it would take 12-16 weeks and that sometimes some things come quicker than the estimated time. Around 15 weeks I called to check on the status and was told should only be a few more weeks and was reassured it would definitely arrive by Christmas and that I would receive a call in 2 weeks with an update. Fast forward 3 weeks I hadn’t heard anything so I called again and was told it wouldn’t be ready until AFTER Christmas. We had a full refund issued out of frustration and purchased our furniture elsewhere.

Horrible customer service.... “Supply Chain issues”. ....What a joke. Customer service is another issue. 0 follow up. Expect to wait 6 months or more for furniture. 12-16 .... 16-20..... oh you should definitely have your furniture before Christmas to it’s going to be after Christmas. Will never order anything from Ashley Furniture Store or the owners of the Ashley stores (Star Furniture).

Ask for Aimee. She helped us by truthfully educating and explaining the products. She never tried to sell us on anything, but she tailored everything to what we actually needed. After the sale her communication was 5 Star. She updated us all the time about our delivery dates without even being asked. She is the best!

I have been working with Aimee since May and I am always updated on the status of the furniture that I have ordered. If you're looking for a customer service backed experience, this is not the store. Michael the manager leads a merry band of zero follow-up staff. I have worked harder than my salesperson in following up month after month. I should have paid myself the commission. If you think it can't be that bad, run If Lauren tries to "help" you. I understand the shortage caused by the pandemic. There is no excuse for poor customer service and follow up.

Ashley furniture will sell you products as in stock that they haven't even received from the manufacturer. The products are typically decent, if you ever receive them. Short version: If you want a piece of furniture, order it at least a month in advance, even if it's in stock, and expect to get it even later than that.

Turns out this store is not a corporate owned store and store manager who is very nice and professional is the last stop in getting anything resolved. However, his hands are tied because Ashley as a corp does not get involved in the ordering or status from their individually owned stores. Home office cannot and will not resolve order problems. Store manager cannot get thru to factory or production line to give REAL date of delivery or even if furniture has been produced at factory in NC. Tried reaching out to owners Clay, William and Joseph Spurlock who refused to get involved to resolve fact that furniture ordered in June, set for Aug delivery, was still not available. No reponse!!! Owners clearly don&'t care about their customers. They own Star Furniture in M&'town as well. Very frustrated customer living in newly rented townhome with no furniture for months thanks to Ashley. Do not shop here under any circumstance unless you want to be strung along for weeks with false delivery dates. Try Chuck&'s or Pac 5 for a better experience. Ashley did refund in full the deposit made for our &"ghost furniture&". Glad to be done with them!! Got a decent set in 2 days from Pac 5.

Earlier today I did not think I would be writing a good review, I had not heard any communication about a couch I purchased a little over a month ago and was told it would be in within 6 weeks. I called customer service to check on the status and they said it was on back order and would not be delivered until August 5th. Needless to say I was a little frustrated with the lack of communication since I had scheduled a pick up for my old couch for tomorrow and realized I would not have anything in my living room for over a month. Note: had I known it was going to take that long I wouldn’t had ordered that specific couch. But I called this location directly and the manager, Lauren, was incredible. Initially I wanted a refund and to take my business elsewhere. But Lauren listened to my story and instead of basically saying “tough luck” she asked my preferences for size, color, chaise location, etc. and said she would call back with some different options. She called back within 30 minutes and sent me a few different options. She ended up finding a couch that was slightly bigger and exactly the color I was looking for without any extra charge, and one that was in stock and could be here ASAP. That couch is now shipping out next week! Lauren was extremely kind, helpful, understanding and efficient. Within 2 hours the problem was solved, with no work on my end. I would definitely recommend this location being ran under her management! Great problem solving skills.

I am not normally someone to write poor reviews but the customer service as this location is just sad. I called yesterday to see if they had an item in stock at this location. The sales rep, did walk to the floor to confirm they had it was available. I was told they would price match because I found the item online for a better price, including whatever shipping was. I told them the price I found it for online and that shipping was free, I was told this was not a problem and they would be able to match. I was also told that the floor model was available for purchase if we would want to consider that. This location is an hour drive from where I live so carved out time just to drive there and get this coffee table today. We found the coffee table quickly and asked for the sales associate that I spoke with on the phone. We waited so long for him I asked someone else to help us, she spoke with us for a minute then left, the manager came over and said he would assist, but that ended quickly as well. The the sales associate we asked for finally came over but he kept saying "I'll be right back". The things that were said on the phone did not match what we were being told in the store, but again this was very little as everyone kept walking away from us with unanswered questions. We ended up being at the store for 45 minutes, just to be told that they couldnt sell us the floor model, they couldn't price match that they could only give us 10% off (which was no where near the price I found the item for online) and was told that if they shipped it it would be $159 because of how far we live, BUT in reality they CAN'T have it shipped to us because of how far we live. So the only thing they could do was have it shipped to the store and we would have to make another trip back to pick it up. Oh and when I spoke to the sales rep on the phone I made it clear that I was making a long drive, and in store we were asked by 3 different employees what our zip code was for shipping purposes, I including the manager, so they were aware of how far we drive our of our way. I was lied to about price matching and the floor model being available just to get me in the store. Once in the store I was given the run around just to be given disappointing news, and information that did not match what was said the day before on the phone. I wasted 3 hours of my day for this... and they let us walk out of the store annoyed and with nothing because they would rather be dishonest and waste people's time. Do not waste your time, they are only out to help themselves, and do not care about customer satisfaction. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE!!

Went into the store looking for a recliner, ended up buying two. Adam was such a great person to work with he showed me what might be the most comfortable, sat down with me, listened to the specifications I was looking for. He then helped me get the best deal and explained everything that was asked. I felt very comfortable working with him and no pressure which was nice. Ask for Adam!

My husband and I were looking for furniture on a Saturday we went to Ashley home store in Morgantown West Virginia we were greeted by Christen she showed us around, and showed us some different furniture that we would like and helped us pick out very nice set that was on sale, we were very pleased with the customer service and the store was very clean and well-set-up, we were very impressed.

My visit was beyond my expectations. Christen took the time to help us find each piece of furniture and had patience with us even though we were so indecisive and made sure we were offered the best price possible. I will definitely be going back for all of my future furniture needs!

Six piece which included the headboard, footboard, rails, dresser, mirror and night stand. Three colors to choose from gray, cherry and light brown and they all were beautiful. Gina Gearde did an exceptional job in helping me order a power sectional sofa via telephone. I found it online and knew sale ends Monday and with the snow storm coming I could not travel from PA to WV today. Since your store did not have one on the floor. Gina made the ordering go so smoothly and stress free. She texted me a photo of the sectional with details so everything is correct. We are extremely satisfied with the smooth transaction and the knowledge of the product and ordering Gina has. It made everything so easy for us! I am so happy I called back on Friday 1/18 ,because my husband called there and the previous saleswomen wasn't as helpful.She hung up on him while he was getting paper to write the phone number down on, so he could send a photo of what he wanted. I was glad Gina answered my call. Gina explained everything and we were happy we could use our credit card to purchase the sofa before sale ends. She saved us a drive from Mt.Pleasant PA to WV in a snow storm . I am so pleased that our sofa is ordered now and that Gina was able to make that happen for us, and so stress free!

Would never buy furniture there again. They tell you about the 10 year warranty but couch cushions broke down with in a year but they say that’s normal ware not under warranty
