Drop by from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, or from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Scott took good care of us and offered top tier customer service. We found a dining table set online and wanted to try and see a display model in person. They didn't have it in store but he took us around to see alternate options without pushing for an upsell. He then helped us get the item we found online even though it looked to be unavailable. I will consider Ashley again for future purchases.

We had a wonderful experience with “Coach” Rick! I found what I wanted for my daughter’s Christmas gift online and was unable to order it due to it being out of stock. I called into the store spoke with Rick and immediately he helped me get it taken care of. Went in to the store and the experience got better! Not only did I get my order taken care of but he also found a matching nightstand that went with the bedroom set. SCORE!!!! He also introduced us to this bed machine that targets where your body has the most issues when you sleep, which led us to a new bed that we will be purchasing in the near future!

The store atmosphere is very friendly, the sales staff was very helpful and gave us time to look around and discuss in private what we wanted, but also gave us options and explained the difference in the pieces of bedroom furniture we were looking for. It took me a year to find exactly the furniture set I wanted and finally found it at Ashley Furniture in Parkersburg. I got a great old-fashioned fold out hide-a-bed sofa with a matching loveseat and chair, all with removeable cushions, in a dark slate gray. Perfect! I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted and had questions ready about financing and delivery. Coach was very helpful and made the process quick, easy, and seamless. He let me know exactly what my costs were, details about delivery, and answered all my questions. He was respectful, didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't want, and was super friendly. The delivery crew were quick, respectful in my home, and did a great job with assembly and set up. Coach called the next day to make sure the delivery had gone as planned. I will definitely recommend Coach and Ashley Furniture to friends and family!

We had our furniture delivered today from Ashley in Parkersburg, WV. Everything is lovely, except the remote and power cord to one of the chairs didn’t arrive. Desmond, and Kenneth were our delivery guys and they made it look so easy. They even had the missing cord and remote ordered before they got out the door. I’ve made furniture purchases in the past from Ashley. This experience was the same, fantastic! Coach Rick greeted us at the door and listened to what we were looking for. (Recliner) We walked back and looked at two chairs. Both recliners were nice. Rick suggested we look at another recliner. Wow! All the buttons & whistles. I recommend Coach Rick to everyone shopping at the Parkersburg Ashley Furniture. Polite. Knowledgeable. We paid for the chair on the spot. Delivery was their first stop of the day. Two workers delivered and tested the recliner, then explained there would be a survey. They were in & out of the house in less than 15 minutes. Overall…a great experience!

Scott was my salesman’s he was fine to deal with but my order was late and I’m still waiting on it was hard to even get a clear answer on when I would receive my order and even harder to complain to someone in corporate I called the store on day I was told it would be there the woman who answered the phone said she leave message for manager to call me back I waited over 7 hrs for call back from the assistant manager, never received one so I called to only find he went home and didn’t care to do any kind of customer service before he went home for day I would never recommend anybody buying off this store they only want your money and once they get it they care very little about getting you what you paid for I know I will never buy anything from here again I recommend big Sandy’s they know how to treat customers

I would recommend Ashley. They have a good selection in a wide price range. The showroom is set up for easy access to the furniture, all colors are available to see on the floor, not photos on websites. At this point ( delivery pending), I am very happy with Ashley.

My niece bought bedroom furniture last year and only part of it was delivered. She just received the chest with some minor imperfections. When she called about the problem, they did not want to fix her issue. When she requested a refund, she was told all sales are final. Each individual Ashley store decides their own policy. It is very important that customers know this up front. I would never purchase anything from a furniture store with this policy, not even a lamp. Most of the time you don’t have issues; but when you do, this is not what you want to hear after spending a significant amount of money on furniture that you want to last.

I have no idea how this place is still in business. I bought furniture July of 2021 and still don’t have my furniture with no delivery date in site. I spent a small fortune to furnish my house instead of getting everything and giving a positive review I’m still waiting for tables nightstands etc with the delivery service saying maybe we can fit u in next month. Absolutely unreal I highly suggest buying from anywhere else I’d rather of cut trees down with a butter knife and widdled the tables myself still would have been faster service and wayyyyy less expensive.

I’ve been to the Ashley store a couple of times looking for a sectional. I initially met with Scott and he was helpful in picking out a sectional that I was interested in and letting me know up front when the sectional would be available for it was on back order. I decided to hold off on purchasing until yesterday. Yesterday I worked with Marsha in the purchasing/financing of the sectional. She was very nice and helpful. Went shopping for a power recliner for my husband who has upcoming knee replacement surgery. We were not thinking about supply chain shortages. Scott did a nice job helping us navigate what stock was available in our needed timeframe. Unfortunately, the chair we chose needed transferred from Tennessee and adds to our pickup date because trips to Tennessee have been changed to every other week instead of every week. This was out of Scotts control but he assured us that he would regularly check on the status and let us know if the pickup date can be earlier.

Update: we ordered our furniture mid-February was told it would be a month. We are now almost into April. They called yesterday to tell us our furniture was in, call back to get a delivery set up. I called them to set it up hoping to have it with in a week or so. They can't deliver it for another 3 weeks. :( Which I think is ridiculous, considering it has already been longer than we expected already, now our furniture is going to be sitting there for 3 weeks before they can deliver it. Had I known this we would not have purchased from them. I feel like I have been lied to by them. 😡

I ordered a chair at the beginning of the summer. two weeks ago I was told it finally arrived but couldn't be delivered until August 21st. Today, August 20th I get a voicemail saying that the back of my chair is broken and will now be reordered. I paid for an expensive warranty and the expensive delivery fee (removal of the old chair is not included), but I can't get my chair in a couple of months. There was no offer of any type of compensation for my inconvenience and additional wait. At this point, I assume that I will die of old age before my chair arrives from Ashley Furniture. Obviously, I need to check into getting my money back so I can purchase a chair from a company who can deliver it in the same season it was purchased.

We walked in to check out furniture in June and we were helped immediately by Rick. He helped us put together a great selection and we were excited for the delivery. Today, on July 25th, since we hadn't heard anything about our late July delivery estimate, we called twice today after receiving zero updates as promised to find out the furniture won't even be received by them until nearly mid to the last week of August. We are highly disappointed on the follow through on the items we purchased.

He allowed my wife and I to browse and talk and get comfy on several different sets without being pushy or interrupting the process we were going through, all while updating us on features, materials, colors, or availability of the different sets. Awesome service. Our sales guy, Scott, was off the clock but he stayed to help us out. He waited while we borrowed a couple of pillows to take home so we could see which sofa would look the best. Most of what we wanted was in stock. Some stuff we wanted won't be in until the end of May but I discovered that was an issue with all of the furniture stores I had gone to. I had already looked at so much furniture over the last week that the colors were starting to blur together but Scott was very helpful in showing us pieces that would flow from room to room. The staff was great to work with and was very patient with us. We have not closed on our home yet, but were looking for furniture and have done no research so we walked in with blank slates. We had questions and I was pulling and prodding every inch of the furniture o see what options and quality was being offered. We decided on the Capehorn recliner set, but we left and went to look at 4 other furniture stores also. Ultimately we came back and bought it, as well as returning later to buy a coffee table and end tables. We will be shopping here again when we need furniture.

We had a bad experience and will not be returning. Sales people were nice but the happiness ended there. Furniture was late, due to COVID, okay not their fault... but delivery was terrible! We got a call saying they deliver one day a month if that doesn’t work for us then they deliver again in 3 weeks. Delivery day arrived and we were told they would be there between 1:45-4:45pm. We had family coming to meet them bc we were out of town. (Something we clearly communicated the day we purchased furniture but were promised it would be delivered by time we left town) We got a call from delivery at 11 am saying they were at our house and because no one was there they would leave our dressers on the front porch! After multiple calls they waited 30 minutes for family to arrive. Then it was discovered that our dressers were damaged. We were told they would send someone to fix the problems. Instead, they mailed us the parts to fix it ourselves! We paid good money to get screwed over. We will not be back. Buyer beware.

Got all new furniture delivered today for my living room and dining room and spent a fortune. My brand new couch arrived ripped and all they want to do is replace the fabric. Not to mention my end table and 2 dining room chairs are wobbly.

We've been looking for a sectional for months now. After a lot of web searching we found a piece we really like on Ashley Furniture's website. The dimension and minimum door width for delivery information were very helpful. I called our local Ashley Furniture and worked with Mindy to complete our purchase. She was friendly and professional and quickly completed our order. As with most furniture right now, the piece we ordered is on back order. We should get it in a couple months and I'll update this review with info on delivery and the recieved piece once it arrives. UPDATE: the delivery team just brought in our sectional. They were timely, courteous, and professional. The sectional looks great. We're happy with our purchase experience from Ashley.

Bought a recliner and appreciate the time, patience and information provided by Scott to make sure we bought what we liked and that it was available in stock for us to take home. However the store failed us when we had to wait 45 minutes at the loading dock and after calling the store twice to remind them we were still waiting we found out the warehouse worker had left and we had to load our furniture ourselves with the assistance of the store manager. I even had to ask for plastic to wrap the chair in to protect it in the truck on the way home. We were not pleased as it was not an inexpensive piece of furniture for it to be presented exposed to the weather and that we were left waiting for so long.

Husband and I purchased Temperpedic mattress 3 yrs ago . Last spring my husband was the first to complain that when he was getting out of bed sscto sitting on edge of bed, he was almost on the floor as the mattress was sinking as he was sitting. Then he complained he couldn't roll over as he was sunk down in the mattress. As I also started having trouble rolling over in bed, like a hump was in middle of bed, Well I let it go for couple months as I was having surgery on my back. When I came home from hospital I couldn't even sleep in my bed as it was to hard to roll over. So I called and spoke with Scott the Manager he was very surprised of my problem and with in 3 weeks I had new mattress, we did go with the same brand just upgraded to a firmer style. Rick ( coach,) was very helpful to help us pick out the new set we wanted. The delivery guys were also very nice and careful taking out the old ones in exchange for the new ones. VERY HAPPY with the smooth transaction as I was very skeptical of the process, but they stand behind their products.

I was very impressed with the one on one attention that Mindy gave me. Ashley had the living room suit in their store that I had seen on their website. However, I didn't want the matching recliner or the end tables. Mindy moved over another accent chair that went great with the sofa and love seat. She also replaced the end tables with other tables. Not only did Mindy help me decide the right match she also made other suggestions in which I will get later to finish out my living room. Even though delivery will take 10 to 12 weeks it was ok with me. That will give me time to finish painting and have carpet laid. Thank you Mindy for all the attention you gave me and for being so kind!

The staff at the store was great but the quality of what they’re pushing is very poor. The dresser drawer guides wouldn’t even meet up with the opposite side. It’s like the bottom of the dresser was made wider than the top.

Went in to buy a mattress, and to be honest I didn't think it would be as easy as it was to shop for one. To start things off, they have a machine to test for pressure points, which makes it easier for them to recommend specific mattresses. Second, Scott (Grimm) was super helpful and super polite the whole time we were there. Definitely recommend this store if you're interested in buying furniture.

Although the salesman Rick was very nice, he failed to inform me that the chair I purchased was going to be on back order. I called the delivery distribution center because it has been over a week and I have heard anything and was told it won't arrive until mid August, possibly September! AND that I wasn't even set up for delivery THAT I PAID FOR! They said the sales rep will call when it is in to tell me to call and set up delivery! REALLY? I'm told all sales are final which would be fine if I didn't have to wait two freaking months to get my items!

They don’t honor their warranty. I bought an $800 leather recliner the leather is defective, the manager even told me they don’t carry that manufacturer any more due to issues with them. Corporate won’t do anything either said parkersburg store is a franchise I would have to take it up with the manager. The manager is the one that sent pictures of the chair to corporateWill only shop at Big Sandy from now on, they have great customer service. 😡.

I loved the service I got there that being said I was told the power chairs I was buying had battery backup. When they were delivered no battery back up. I called and the saleslady thought they had battery backup. The manager ordered the battery backup for the chairs but the battery back up is worthless I have gotten stuck twice now with power going out and backup doesn't work. I am limited mobility so trying to get out of chair is a chore. I love the chair Other then that so I don't know I may have to replace with a lift chair that has battery backup that works. My other lift chair I wore out had it.

After a month and a half of being quarantined, the first stop I made was to Ashley Furniture in hopes of finding seating for my living room which has been empty (except for lawn chairs) since the beginning of April. I was greeted by Marsha and she was extraordinary! She started by determining what I was shopping for then proceeded to show me all the seating that fit my description of what I was looking for. She then left me to wander and ponder over the selections. She returned to check on me and I ended up purchasing a sectional and recliner that I sorta overlooked at first. She was very honest and never once was pushy, in fact she told me to think it over and call if I decided not to purchase that day. We had a wonderful conversation and realized we had a lot in common. 17 day update: Very disappointed! We bought a chair that had a sign “in stock”. No one was reaching out to schedule delivery so I’ve called 4 times now. I get “it’s in the warehouse. We just need to schedule delivery”. “Warehouse is busy. They will call you shortly.” “Warehouse is closed. They will call you next business day.” Still waiting to hear from them. They were very willing to sell but after that...ball drop! Very sad and disappointing. Maybe all they care about is money and sells and not customer service 🤷♀️ Mindy was awesome! After 2 failed attempts at other stores to get what I wanted, when I wanted it, I was ready to give up. Then we stopped at Ashley Furniture and was immediately greeted by Bethany who managed to solve all my problems. The sales team was great and the furniture is great quality. So why the 2 stars? Because the bed that was delivered was partially assembled by the delivery men. The bed was left in pieces and they said it was finished. Going online, I found the assembly manual. The middle supports were not installed correctly. They didn't even attach the middle support. Just the feet to the slats. Speaking of those slats, they were just placed there and not secured with screws. Even though there are pre-drilled holes for the screwes. I was left with the brackets still in their packaging. And the middle supports. But, no screws for the slats. Very unhappy with the delivery service. Execution of their delivery/assembly should be of up most importance because it shows that they care. I'm just glad non of my family was injured. The only reason there is a second star is because of the sales team. I tried calling the number given to me to fix it. Always went to a voicemail. Maybe writing this review will get their attention. ( UPDATE ) Was contacted by the Distributor Manager, and the only resolve was to send me an in store gift card of $175. Its better than nothing. They were understanding of my frustrations. Was also willing to get the hardware needed to correctly assemble thr bed and fix it that afternoon. I am grateful for that.

IM ANGRY bc he never told me when checking out that I didn't get the 21% or that any of the items I bought $3,000 dollars worth of stuff .He was standing there when u checked out.But did not notify me that I never bought the 21% items ! In my opinion when I was shopping for the stuff and he was right beside me why did he not tell me then ???? So I lost about 600 bucks! Never going back hes a liar.

Callie Sampson was great - very friendly and helpful. She gave us space to browse without hovering over us, but was quick to answer questions when we needed her. Had never been to this store before and was surprised at the nice assortment of furniture they carried and the reasonable prices. We were greated by Marsha and she was very friendly and helpful. I don't know how good a deal I got , but I don't even care. The staff here was incredibly nice and professional, from Coach, who greeted us even though he was with a customer, to Marsha, who completed the sale. This experience contributes to my belief that "avoid chain stores and go local" is not such sage advice in this part of the country.

Our daughter bought furniture from Marsha Cox last year and she was extremely helpful again with my mother-in-law when she purchased her new living room suit. She did everything in her power to make it easy for her as she is elderly. We went several times until we found just the right fit for her. Marsha worked with us and had everything written up to save time when the purchase was made it went very quickly for my mother-in-law. Barb was also very helpful with giving us the phone number to habitat for humanity to take away her old furniture. Both girls went above and beyond to do everything we needed. (2017): Very friendly and helpful. Scott went out of his way to help us and make sure we got a great deal. We visited most of the furniture stores in the area and Ashley was definitely one of the best.
