For itty bitty ArcadiA it is a huge palace of a story. I like big loveseats, however, they are large as a short o'stuffed sofa. I liked electric control bit opted out as electric will inhibit the speed of getting up.
My husband and I were looking for a motorized recliner and we were so fortunate to get the most amazing sales person. Christopher Fritz was his name and he helped us when we needed it, left us alone when we needed it, answered our questions, gave us all of our options for this expensive purchase and in the end, we did buy it.This man deserves a raise I mean a big raise because he did everything right!
My wife and I took time on a Friday afternoon to visit Ashley Home Store in Arcadia. Had plenty of room and attention from staff. Looked at 8-10 dining room tables and chairs before purchasing one that fit our needs. Assistant was knowledgeable and engaging. Not pushy at all. Gave us time to make our mind up and had answers to all our questions. We had several options in pricing that fit our budget and felt we were treated fairly. Delivery and set up for $119 was a great addition to contract. We will be back for other items in the future.
We had a most enjoyable experience this morning with Ron. Though relatively new on the job, he was very helpful and encouraging. He made us feel like valued customers and seemed more concerned about helping us find something that met a need than selling us a sofa. Thanks Ron! You are doing a great job!!
My experience at the store was fine. But I just got the e-receipt and they have delivery listed at my old address, 672 Sioux St. My new address is 5565 W 9th St, Unit 9, Winona MN 55987
The building is beautiful and very well decorated. That team member responsible for that really does well. I actually had gone to the home store three times having three different sales associates each time answering my questions and the third time I got someone passionate about getting me what I wanted and not just trying to get me to leave with something. It makes a world of difference as I bought all my furniture from them for my apartment as they gave me genuine suggestions of things to go well with the look I wanted and were alright with me saying I thought something was ugly or belonged elsewhere (like a cabin looking rug rather than a home looking rug). I greatly appreciated their patience and willingness to work with me as it can be hard for me to spend the kind of money people need to on new furniture unless I am really sold that it will look how I want. I think my bedroom, dining room, and living room will all have exactly the look I wanted thanks to my stop at the HomeStore. Thanks to everyone in the process who was willing to answer my silly questions as I have never bought new furniture before. I only marked it down one star because the first two people I got were rather pushy and seemed to more have their idea of what I wanted instead of listening to mine. Recommend scoping the place out before getting your furniture or being willing to tell the staff if you don’t like your salesperson to ensure you get someone willing to help and not just sell.
Terrible communication...I sent emails and called the number but nobody will answer the phone at the store...they have plenty of people just standing around doing nothing..I was just there to purchase something and witnessed everyone just standing around.
The worst experience I have ever had buying furniture. When they brought our items one was broken so we returned it with the driver. The replacement was broken as well and they said they would send a technician to fix it. The day after the technician was to arrive I called and they said nothing had been scheduled, a work order was still active, but nothing scheduled. So she scheduled a new appt another month later. No one arrived, we called and were told that nothing had been scheduled but they could still see the active work order. Original purchase was in January it is now June 16 and still nothing from Ashley. They have no customer service that I can tell, the quality of the furniture is comparable to Wal mart and Wal mart has better customer service. Sad that a once great company has gone the way of all the rest, buying everything from China and Vietnam and cashing in on a name built by better people.
Although my shopping experience was wonderful with Bradley Thomas from Arcadia, WI, I've had nothing but trouble since. One of the mattresses I purchased came damaged, (after delivery was delayed a week and about a month after I order them). After I filed a claim and sent in photos, I was promised I'd be contacted in 48 hours, but after a week i had to contact them again. Now I've been told that the mattresses have been discontinued and I have to get a different one. That would be fine except now I'll have 2 different mattresses (purchased a split king). I'm extremely frustrated that I spent over $3000 for a mismatched bed set. If I wanted them mismatched I could have bought them from the clearance department. At this point, I don't see myself ordering from Ashley Furniture again.
