We had a fantastic experience at Ashley Furniture in Janesville, WI, thanks to Zach M. We arrived around 2 PM and left around 3:30 PM after browsing and running to a couple of other furniture stores. Ultimately, we returned to Ashley to make our purchase. Zach was professional, down-to-earth, incredibly patient, and truly understanding of our needs. We’ve been shopping for months, and Ashley stood out for having the best prices and exceptional service. I typically avoid big-box stores, but the price match and personalized assistance made it worth it. We purchased two sofas, a loveseat, and a mattress—both the loveseat and mattress weren’t even on our original list, but the deals were too good to pass up. Delivery is scheduled within a week, and we’re already planning to return for a bedroom set soon! Highly recommend this location for both the value and outstanding customer service.

Had the most pleasant experience with Denice Cliffe, here at the Janesville location! I was at the madison location looking to purchase a large sectional the night before, but unfortunately they were not able to work within my budget, we parted ways over splitting 100 dollars. Since Janesville is closer to me, we went here to look again, and talked with Denice, her and her manager Mike. They said they like to see a smile on all their customers faces and made Christmas magic happen! so we could have our new couch within our budget! 10 out of 10

Update 2: Called the store and Maria was super helpful in making the delivery work sooner. Updated my review: while the sales person was helpful, updates to my contact info that were noted on the paperwork were never entered into the system. Instead of getting delivery 12/5, I now have to wait until at least the 10th. I moved out my existing furniture already to make room for the new pieces. To say the least I am not happy about this. Only found out when I called to see when I might expect delivery. Since my info was not updated, I never got calls/email/text to confirm my delivery date. Zach was super helpful and friendly. Zach was able to explain all of the options for financing and delivery options as well as the protection program for furniture. Always lots of great options at Ashley. Truly appreciate the service.
Chris was great when my family and I came in just to look for a new bedset. He was fun, direct, and not pushy at all. He made the purchase quick and easy, and I would recommend him to anyone that is looking to purchase any furniture.

I will never shop Ashley Furniture again! My couch arrived after 2 months (I was accommodating with to their shipping and busy schedule), then it arrived with a tear. Had to schedule a repair appointment. Then the zippers on cushions broke within the first 2-3 months. I was able to fix one of them. The tv stand started to ‘bow’ after 2-3 months with absolutely NO weight limits listed. Made several phone calls and was transferred to SEVERAL departments a hundred times! Lots of mixed answers and absolutely nothing resolved! Very, very disappointing, especially for a single mom on a single income and finally being able to afford new furniture after more than 15 years! Quality and customer service is horrible!

I had a bed delivered during the first snow of the season. The delivery truck couldn’t make it up my driveway, but that didn’t stop Brendan and Devon! They proceeded to carry the items from the street and made it happen. Really friendly guys diligent and efficient.

We went in just to look at the couches wasn’t really looking to buy but Chris Sheridan came and spoke with us asked us questions joked with our kids made them feel at home. Saturday May 25, 2024 my sister and I walked in and were met by a salesperson at the front desk who asked if I was looking for anything specifically and I explained that I was just there to look at some sofas as I was killing time before an appointment. His expression turned into annoyance immediately as he disappointedly said let us know if you need help. A few minutes later his voice enters the room we’re in to say “these are all custom room sets.” His tone was very diminutive and he then followed us a bit more almost as if we were behaving suspiciously. We left immediately after, and I’ll never set foot in this store again. I felt judged, and profiled by a perfect stranger. Never again

Let me start by saying that I was hesitant to purchase furniture from Ashley. However, I walked in, told the salesman, Chris Sheridan, what I was looking for, and he led me to the perfect living room set! After browsing a few more local retailers, there was nothing that could beat the quality of Ashley for the price. I ventured back to Chris, had an easy “seal-the-deal” process and am looking forward to our furniture being delivered in the next week! Chris was easy to work with, not pushy, and I would recommend him to anyone on the furniture search!

Wife and I were shopping for new living room furniture, which is always tough with 6 kids in the home. We set out to purchase a new mattress with little idea of where to start. Chris helped us through a process of understanding what kind of mattress would be best for us and multiple price points in that style. While initially taken back by the sales staff ready to snag you right inside the front door, Chris was not pushy on the sale. We left to think things over, and he was very helpful when we came back via text message later on with additional questions. Once we had made some decisions, he walked us through various steps the rest of the way. We wound up buying additional furniture, and he worked with us to make a deal that everyone felt good about. In terms of delivery, our shipment wound up getting split into two deliveries because the mattress was delayed. Ashley's team was upfront and helpful throughout that process. The teams that delivered our items, including Justin and Jon, were very easy to work with. I liked that I could track delivery and know an estimated time of delivery. We were slated to be the last stop one day, and Justin and Jon beat the original estimate time by 90 minutes. Overall, after a week or so of enjoying new furniture, we're very happy with our choices and with all interactions with the Ashley team. Would definitely go there again in the future.

About a month or so ago my husband and I stopped by this store a couple times to shop for a new couch. All the employees were friendly and willing to help. Chris especially made it an easy process when it came to purchasing the couch we chose. The couch was delivered and it’s was exactly what we needed for our new house. Over the past month, it’s proven to be great quality and very easy to clean when needed! (Huge plus with pets!). Very pleased with the product!

Delivered damaged furniture, I saw the damage on both pieces shortly after delivery was done. Now I’m stuck with a restocking fee or already using a warranty hours into my purchase. Update: the owner response is generic. I reached out again, they have no interest in keeping a customer.

TIM HAS BEEN DOING GREAT JOB WITH FIXING MY FURNITURE AWESOME PERSON. A++++++ I also wanted to say I'm very very disappointed in the 3rd party warranty company they have been to my home multiple times to replace parts on my couch and chair and back in April started having issues with side of couch buttons getting hot and smelling something is burning Ive asked to have it replaced under warranty since April and getting now where very fraustrated as I have given business to this company buying new furniture for my mother and then helping my client get new furniture to not be taken care of myself very upsetting and disappointed. This was the last furniture my husband bought me before he passed away due to cancer and I don't want to get phone call my house burnt down due to my furniture as my home is where we raised our boys and have all our memories. Janesville Store has been helpful but sometimes don't hear back for a week or longer til I reach back out. Then warranty company sends wrong parts or defective parts so guy comes and can't do the work. Remind you have NOT sat in my recliner chair since 3rd week of April part just arrived and can't come for 2 weeks to install it, also was told by person or persons at warranty company multiple times just unplug couch so I'm just not suppose to be able to recline and relax. USB PLUGS have been used maybe 15 ish times in 3 years and every time you use it a time or couple times it quits working so thwn new parts need ordered and several times mine went out right away and and or when got parts were bad repair person has had to take parts back due to wrong part or dont work.. GAVE THEM A 5 STAR BEFORE BUT LOWERING TO A 2 STAR as nothing has been taken care of shouldnt take 2 or 3 months to get a part and if so something should be done if cant use what you bought. Things are made cheaply now and don't hold up.

We stopped in to look at sectionals and mattresses. Chris was so helpful with everything. We ended up purchasing both that same night and walked out of the store feeling very confident with our purchase. Chris is definitely knowledgeable and he made the whole experience fun. The delivery on the other hand was an awful experience! Part of the sectional was ripped . We refused delivery on it and on our bed bc the bed was missing the legs! When they came back at a later date, the bed was fine but the one recliner on the sectional had a bad frame. They sent out a repairman and said it needed a new frame....uh no...we wanted a new piece totally. A new piece was delivered a week later. We are loving our new furniture, however still questioning the quality and will never purchase from Ashley furniture again!

I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will never buy anything from this place again! I spent $4762.25 one 2 items a mattress and a tempurpedic adjustable base. I paid for everything and left thinking everything was under control, but then I get a call saying the adjustable base is discontinued and would I mind getting a floor model? I agreed as long as it was the exact same one and everything worked on it. I was assured it would be and the warranty would still be the same as a new one. Delivery day was a nightmare, communication has been a nightmare. When I finally went to set up my tempurpedic smart base, I found out they gave me the wrong model and it was not the smart base, I thought I ordered. Also, while setting it up I had to do a google search on how to do it because there was no manual included with the floor model. I contacted the person who sold it to me and was offered the part that was needed to make this into the model I thought I was getting, which this person had won. I got a whole $300 off of a 5 year old floor model that was not the model I ordered. They had no problem charging me the whole price for the new and improved model minus the $300. When I went to go pick up the sleep tracker, the manager was there and told me he would relook over my account the next day and give me more of a discount and they would give me call to make sure I was able to install it myself. No call, no discount, nothing. Plus, the sleep tracker that was given to me was also not the correct one, it is supposed to be the Sleep Tracker AI which monitors your sleep and then if it detects you snoring it is supposed to automatically raise your head. I feel totally ripped off on this deal and they do not care at all about their customers, just how much money they can make. Run from this place and do not look back!!

So we went in looking for recliners and came out with a mattress too.....So hopefully now I will finally be able to get the sleep I need all thanks to Mary-Kate at the Janesville WI location!!

He listened to what it was I needed and didn’t push anything that I didn’t say I was looking for. Very personable and efficient; I actually live in the Green Bay Area which is about two hours north from here, and due to the great hospitality and experience that I was provided with. I will now, no questions asked continue to go through Dustin for any future furniture needs etc.. Mary-Kate was one of the best sales associates I have ever worked with in any situation of purchasing something new. She was willing to go above and beyond to work with us via phone to work out details of our purchase. Aside from that, Mary-Kate and the store manager worked to make us happy with the promotions we could receive and provided insightful information about the protection plan, which we ended up deciding to add to our purchase! We will be referring all of our friends and family to this location of Ashley Furniture, specifically to Mary-Kate if possible. It was so refreshing to work with a sales associate that was personable, relatable, and genuinely concerned about the best choices for our little family.

Wonderful experience
Built a new home using Veridian and moved in 9/20/23. I used Ashley Appliance Mart a trade partner with Veridian Homes, huge mistake. From day 1 my GE gas range fan was noisy so I contacted my personal builder and he submitted a work order on 10/02/23 to Ashley for service. On 10/11/23 a Ashley tech came and performed diagnostics and the oven kept blowing his app equipment out. He said he would order a new fan and mother main board. At this time, I had no working oven, just the range top. Ashley came again on 10/25/23, two weeks since last visit. Technician tore half the range apart to replace fan and main board, took 2 hours. All put together and technician tried to set clock and oven went into broil mode! The technician said he needed to order the front panel board. I was told by Ashley that the earliest they could send a technician would be 11/07/23. That would leave me without an oven for 28 days and I told them that's unacceptable! I asked them to overnight the part if needed, no response. I emailed my Veridian team and the President of Veridian asking for a new range as I felt I had a lemon. On 10/27/23 a representative called me from Ashley which is located in Steven's Point and that is where their technicians are dispatched from as well to service Madison and Milwaukee. Now how dumb is that? The Ashley representative started the conversation and said he was good friends with the president of Veridian, who cares? He continued to give excuses and then told me the part was in transit as we speak but could not track it! If so, why until 11/07/23 to repair? Greg the rep reminded me of the salesman I bought my first used car from. I have zero confidence he was truthful. He told me 5 times they won't replace the range and offered a cheap counter top toaster oven, how insulting! I told him that I ordered a new range from Grand Appliance and they are delivering it the next day, now that's service! That same afternoon I received a call from David Simon the president of Veridian. He was very apologetic and felt bad but offered no replacement range only the same cheap toaster countertop oven, again another insult! I told him Ashley is a horrible trade partner and an embarrassment to customer service. When I contracted my home with Veridian I Chose Ashley for appliances because I received an appliance allowance which I doubled my allowance and paid out of pocket for upgraded appliances. In essence it didn't cost Ashley nothing to replace my defective range. Since 10/27/23 I have not heard from Ashley or Veridians president, radio silence. I guess they really don't care if they don't hold to their home owner's warranty. I wasn't asking for much, only a working oven range. I have my new range, another $2,300.00 spent that I would have preferred on handicap equipment to make my life easier. I felt compelled to expose Veridian's and Ashley Appliance Mart to others that Veridian and Ashley do not care about customer service! I recommend new Veridian customers avoid the small appliance allowance and go on their own to a competent appliance vendor. I pray my other appliance package holds together! I will still tell my story on other social platforms to warn others. Mr. David Simon of Veridian and Ashley Appliance Mart I am waiting for my refund. Happy Thanksgiving!

I stopped in September16th to look at the Bedgear pillows. I was greeted by Michael S. and he was very helpful in selecting what size would work best. He knew what he had in stock for me and listened to my needs and concerns for my own pillow and for my daughter. Mary-Kate made was the best! She has a great personality and very personable and authentic. For starters she took us seriously. As young buyers, we find people didn't engage and take us seriously, whereas she did. We went to countless stores and have been blowoff and asked what item in the clearance we wanted when that's not the case. I will be asking for her when I come back. She listened and understood what we were looking for and had an answer and solution for every problem I had. One of my favorite ideas She had was customizing a sectional and removing parts we didn't need to fit our limited space. We were losing our hope on buying a sectional until Mary-Kate brought that up. She was never pushy and gave us plenty of time and space to sit and think things through. I strongly encourage asking for her because you won't find that kind of help anywhere else. Get your fabric protection because "what's a piece of mind worth".
Terrible customer service. It’s been 3 months since we bought our furniture. We had several issues with the furniture and the delivery. Still waiting to hear back from their customer service on how they are going to fix this.
We recently purchased new furniture for a home addition and we were so fortunate to have Natasha and Atticus helping us out. It was a long process for us to figure out exactly what we wanted and they were both very helpful and knowledgeable. They were also very patient as we changed our mind a few time through the process. Their customer service skills were above and beyond.

I've been looking for a sectional sofa for over 6 months, and I found what I was looking for here. The only one they had left was the floor model, so they gave me a very nice discount. This will be the 1st place I look next time.
The salesperson are two pesky I came to look at furniture and I had a lady stuck on my tail the entire time I just wanted to look make my own decisions.
We have made two trips to the Ashley Home Store in Janesville, Wisconsin. On our first trip, in March we purchased a number of different items for our new home. Our sales rep was Zachary M. He was very patient with us and gave us some suggestions and we were pleased with our purchases. Two months later we went back to the same Ashley store and were happy that Zach was working at that time. Again, he helped us with our selection and we purchased a really nice piece of furniture. We are very satisfied with the customer service we have received at this store and would definitely recommend it.
My mom and I decided to go to Ashley after checking out a couple of other furniture stores in the area, and I’m SO glad we did! We were greeted by Emily, who was nothing short of amazing! She asked a couple questions to give us a better idea of where to look. She didn’t badger us about looking at things that were “out of budget” and was so helpful at offering suggestions. Normally when I go shopping (especially where commission is involved) I am followed around the store making me very uncomfortable and not so eager to make a purchase. Emily gave us space to walk around and take our time but would also check back in every so often if we had questions, or needed help price checking. I have never had a better experience than this! We stayed within budget and we left feeling so happy and satisfied with our whole overall experience, and we owe majority of that to her! Very very pleased and will recommend in the future.
Denice was fabulous! She understood exactly what we were looking for and helped us find the perfect match! We were willing to wait a couple weeks for our furniture but some how she managed to get it to us sooner! I highly recommend and we will be returning for future purchases!

First time ever at Ashley Homestore. I am blown away. I was greeted upon stepping into the store. I was handed a flyer for a 4 day liquidation sale. Me being curious, I went to check up on things that just caught my eye. Natasha is awesome! She's very friendly and cheerful. Not once did I feel a sense of pressure to buy anything. It just came naturally. She helped me through financing and stuck with me till the end. She is very well informed on all the services and incentives Ashley has to offer. I went to the Ashley Store in Janesville Wi to buy another mattress exactly like I already had in our guest room. My Mother-in-law stayed with us for a few months and she never tired of telling ou how wonderful the mattress was. Long story short... I bought her one of her own.

The selection at this location just looks cheap in comparison to what they have at the other furniture store nearby. The person at the front had no idea what I was looking for even though we showed him a picture. If you are a recently graduated college student, they have some items in the far back that are of great discount, I would come here for those items, but nothing else. They have some great reduced price items are people that are just starting out....not looking for anything perfect for their home, but just something that will do.

Terrible and I mean terrible company. I ordered an entire bedroom set for my daughter, and on the first delivery only 1 item was actually not damaged. Everything else needed replacing. While I waited for replacement items to come, each week they pushed it back saying the new item was also damaged. After 2 months, they delivered the dresser and nightstand again. The nightstand had even worse damage than my initial item. They told me it wasn't there when they dropped it off and they would not fix it. They said it could not be taken back either. I took pictures right after delivery and sent them to the company as well, showing the damage. They are not willing to work with anyone and with my experience, could only deliver damaged items. Don't make me mistake. Order from a different company and save yourself the hassle.

My husband and I spent at least an hour looking at furniture. You would think that at least once we would be greeted or asked if we wanted help by a salesperson. We were prepared to spend a great deal of $ for a new living room set, but decided to go elsewhere.

Kelly, is amazing! Ever since we started shopping there in 2021 she’s been very helpful. We waited about a yearish to buy a bed and she was very patient, always kept us in the loop with deals, and we knew we wanted her to help us when we came back in and she did just that! This store is always so very helpful and welcoming! Before we bought our bed there we went to the slumberland in delavan and nobody greeted us, and, I work retail, when you need a sale you try for it and you try hard. The lady who eventually helped us just told us prices. That was it. The Ashley furniture store in Janesville had us try a pillow and mattresses and we truly found what we wanted and got amazing prices for all of it! So thank you for the wonderful customer service! I do not recommend anybody buying furniture from this place. The sales woman sold us on how the couch we were looking at was such a high quality that movie theaters use the same products, and how the material although not real leather was better than leather and stronger than leather and more stain, resistant and more resistant to flaking or damage, we also had a five-year warranty and when we talked about the warranty, she said it was going to cover anything besides damage from pets. Well apparently she misinformed me or didn't tell me about the fine print notes that say they will not warranty the material from flaking are cracking We paid a lot of money for this couch, and we are very disappointed, and we will never shop there again for anything.
We liked our sales person but the happiness ended there. We ordered our furniture and had to wait a long time for delivery (roughly 4-6 weeks). Fine, it’s the holiday season. Then our sectional came and the love seat portion was broken and they offered to exchange it. During the 3 week wait for the new love seat we realized the sofa piece was ALSO broken, which was confirmed upon delivery of our new love seat. We were then advised that we would have to wait 5 WEEKS just to have someone come out and diagnose it before ordering parts or setting up the actual service appointment for it to be fixed. Spoke with a supervisor about just returning it for a refund they informed us that their return policy is 5 DAYS. What kind of return policy is that? They refused. Magically they were then able to diagnose over the phone. We called to schedule the service appointment for that and the guy rudely hung up after stating he would call me back. I waited 3 weeks and finally called back myself where I was told they’re still waiting on a date that it can be done. It has now been 2 months since initial delivery and the new love seat they delivered less than a month ago was also discovered to be broken. The quality of this furniture is junk and I could have gotten something at Aldi that would hold up better 💀. The Better business bureau is our next step since they are still refusing to take their junk back. We won’t be out a few thousand because Ashley can’t get it together.

Purchased a sofa one yr ago, with an extended warranty. Due to delivery, having to assemble, I was not given instructions, myself to disassemble to fit through any door. ACCIDENTALLY, put a rip in it, while trying to move and my claim was denied! What good is any "accidental" warranty if it doesn't cover this???! - Also, took 3 weeks to hear back!!

Bought a mattress. The sales guy really knew about mattresses. I'm a stomach sleeper so he directed me to 3 mattresses that would work for me. The mattress delivery was a week late so they compensated me for the inconvenience. Love my new mattress!

I wanted an adjustable bed and mattress but there are so many options out there including buying online. Camren James-Omernick helped us navigate the pro and cons of each type. We also got to try out many mattresses there, which one can't easily do online unless you return an order. It was easy to talk to him and he was very helpful. Our new bed should be delivered soon!

Helpless staff! Claimed a queen sized is a single. Tried to upsell me at every turn. Really poor staff I walked out.
I was well taken care of at the store when purchasing a sofa and loveseat. On delivery, one piece of furniture was already damaged and the other received a tear while being carried up. I was told their repairmen will be by in a week or two to fix it. Unless someone wants the details, here is the short version: I furniture was delivered in 02/2022 and it is now 10/2022 and I'm still waiting for parts to arrive before I can schedule a second visit by the repairmen and I still have torn furniture. I would not recommend them based on their repair and delivery service.

I would avoid this place if you can. The employees I worked with (Denise and Emily) were fantastic. Everything else was terrible. I ordered a couch, bed, and dresser. After having delivery confirmed and I was told all 3 were in stock in their WI warehouse, I got a random text saying the couch was delaying my order by 3 weeks. Went in and talked with a manager who was rude and joked about how he could upcharge me $50 to sell me the floor model because of supply/demand. Eventually took the floor model at the same cost but had to manage transport of it on my own. Then I asked why I would still be charged the same amount for delivery of the other items and was told it’s the “standard white clove service”. Well that standard white glove service almost left my apartment building without dropping off my items. They had a delivery before mine in my building and went to leave saying they had no more deliveries for the day. I received an automated text from Ashley saying they were there to deliver my items but the “white glove service” was getting ready to drive away without delivering anything to me. I had to argue with them that they had my stuff. I would suggest people go to Janesville Comfort Shoppe across the street instead. They have the exact same Ashley furniture at cheaper prices, are more friendly, and deliver for free within 2 days.

I ordered a mattress, they offered delivery in two weeks. Just before the delivery date, they pushed back the deadline a week. I took the day off work to be ready when the delivery came, and day of they kept pushing back the delivery timeline. At 7:45 pm of the day they'd rescheduled, after reassuring me all day that it'd be delivered, they informed me they'd never actually loaded it onto the truck that morning. Then they told me they wouldn't be able to deliver for another 2.5 weeks. Their customer support number seems to just be a voicemail where humans don't answer calls

We visited the Ashley Furniture store in Janesville to look at sofas. Salesperson, Justin Eddy, greeted us at the door. He was friendly and professional. He asked lots of questions and directed us to the best options available to us. He was very patient and understanding. We took our time deciding, and we never felt pressured or rushed. We recommend this store and Justin specifically. We'll definitely shop there again!

We had an amazing experience. We had just come from another store where the sales rep was rude and actually ignored us. When we walked into Ashleys we were greeted with a smile from Kelly Difiore and we felt welcomed right away. She helped us with all of our questions and made us feel like we were important. When I returned home I found something we ordered for a less price and contacted Kelly. She texted me back immediately and said she would refund the difference. I do not think I have received such great customer service in years. If you need furniture I would highly recommend you stop by Ashley's and ask for Kelly! You will be in great hands.

Ordered couches back in early November & was told they would be delivered in January. Delivery got pushed back 4 months and on the day it was scheduled to be delivered I got a message saying the truck my couches were on would not be running..So delivery is pushed back another week and I’m not even confident I’ll be getting them then. I can confidently say I will never order anything from Ashley Furniture again.
We keep coming back to this store because the service is always top notch. Natasha is the best! She's always super helpful and knows the products quite well.
McKenzie was amazing to work with. My wife and I walked in knowing what we wanted and was accompanied with our two sons. They are ages 1 and 3. She made our experience very pleasant even though our kids were very interested in everything in the store. She even found samples out kids could keep themselves busy the whole time. I recommend McKenzie for and future purchase and we will be returning for our next purchase. We have been purchasing our furniture with Ashley furniture for many years and will be returning.

Spent a significant amount of money on new couch and barstools, back in January. They said they did not expect delivery until March, which was a little bit of a let down but we went ahead with the purchase.They surprised us by delivering earlier but couch arrived damaged. Called the store and was advised that new cover would be sent, for damaged area. They said to call to get someone scheduled to get the new cover on, so I did. I left 3 voicemails that went unanswered. Got tired of waiting around and called again. Once synonymous with quality and customer service, Ashley showed they only accel at overcharging for furniture they can barely get out the door, undamaged. I get it, things happen, but when I call customer service this is where you can make things ok. Instead, I have to listen to their excuses about being short staffed and why they can't give me a decent return on the thousands of dollars I spent. Never again, Ashley. If you can't deliver what you're selling in your store and you want to hire a bunch of empty headed automatons to repeat canned, fake apologies, then understand that I'll be looking elsewhere the next time I'm looking for furniture.
Do not recommend whatsoever. Staff in store is not helpful with dealing with issues and nothing ever seems to get done to fix my issue. My recliner got delivered over 2 months late and than it was broken and useless. I’ve had it for close to 3 months now still waiting on it to get fixed. A service tech came to fix it and showed up with nothing to fix it with. Customer service is impossible to get ahold of and the store just wants to sell you the cheaply made products and pawn your issues off to somebody else never to get dealt with.
My boyfriend and I moved in together recently and had been putting off buying a new mattress for quite awhile. We were nervous about prices and “pushy” sales people. Today we walked in to Ashley and were greeted by the friendliest staff. Our room consultant, Jeannie Dibble, was so sweet, patient, and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and made sure we picked the mattress that fit us best. Jeannie was marvelous!

Paid a great price for my hybrid Chime matress and it's absolutely amazing to sleep on. It lays atop a bunkie board which are both on a platform bed frame.

We went in the store a few times and she was great about communicating outside of our store visits as I had questions. Typically I hate going into home stores to look for furniture because of the sales people. But our experience at Ashley Homestore was anything but annoying. We worked with Zach and he was GREAT! He did not hover, really listened to what we wanted, offered great suggestions and was not pushy at all! If you go in ask for Zach.
Wish I had checked Yelp before I looked for furniture here. Ordered barstools which came on time. Thought I could use 2more, so looked on line and found identical barstools for 1/2 the sales price Ashley offered. Ok my bad. Also ordered a tableWhich sales rep said would possibly arrive mid Oct. (ordered Sept 15). By late November still no table. Cancelled order. Sales rep saidI could expect refund in 5-7 days 10 days later no refund. Sales rep gave some BS excuse and 16 days later still waiting for refund.Antiquated business model. Should go out of business in near future.

We were greeted by Mackenzie as soon as we walked in! She was so professional and very educated on everything we had questions about. After furniture shopping all day and looking at many options we decided to come back because of Mackenzie! We purchased a sectional but could not decide about the ottoman, Mackenzie showed us multiple design options and a few accessories we could pair with the ottoman. She sold me! We ended up with the sectional and the ottoman and we will certainly be coming back for Mackenzie’s help with our home office project. She was very well familiarized with all of the terms of our purchase and that made the sale a breeze. She sent me all of the dimensions and payment options so we could measure and discuss before making our purchase. Mackenzie even stayed past her scheduled time so that we could make a decision. I’m so over Ashley Furniture. I ordered a couch last year in August 2020 and said it would be in by early October. However, it didn’t arrive until late December 2020. Fast forward to this year. I ordered a mattress, hoping things would be better. They called and said my mattress could be delivered a week earlier than originally thought. Awesome! Here comes delivery day. I received a phone call that my product was damaged a half hour before the delivery. And now I have to wait…

After deciding she also stayed involved in the entire process to see that I was happy with the delivery and quality of service. Visited Ashley furniture and had a very rude and pushy salesman that would not let up on the financing plan Ashley offered as well as showing us items out of our clearly stated budget. It was a very uncomfortable experience that left us running for the door. We ended up purchasing our furniture from a different store that listened to what we were looking for and respected our price range.
I worked with Justin for purchasing my furniture. Bought everything I needed in July and wasn’t moving into my new place in Madison until august and so Justin assured me everything would be perfect to pick up august 20th at a Madison store. The day comes around and I go to pick up my furniture and they said it wouldn’t get there until late September or early October. Justin never reached out to update me on anything. The Janesville store basically said there’s nothing they can do and left the Madison store to clean up their mess. Very unprofessional and laughable. Steer clear of this store, not worth it at all.

May 2021: ordered patio furniture for the summer that was to be delivered in June. Delivery was pushed to July, then August and then September.September 6th 2021: the patio furniture was delivered. The delivery people stated the order was missing screws. We were assured that the screw would arrive in a few days and then the furniture could be put together.October 2021: no screws and no updates. I have spent hours on the phone getting the run around between local Ashley and corporate Ashley. There is no ETA on "missing screws". Messages have been left for managers with no reply. At this point I want the furniture picked up and a complete refund. However the would have to be able to talk to an actual human that can address my issue.I will never use Ashley furniture again and I suggest you don't either.
My husband and I went in only planning to browse but ended up buying. We were greeted upon entrance by Amber, she asked us a few questions then left us to browse on our own for a bit before checking in again. Amber was very nice and helpful. With her help we ended up buying a sofa and ottoman. We will certainly go back for any future needs.

Unfortunately I was unable to buy it because my house layout wouldn't work with. I will definitely be back when I get a new house. Prices are really reasonable and they also offer financing. I do love this store. It's a smidgen expensive, I will not lie. However, the options for interior furniture and decór are so stylish, I walk in and want to take home everything, lol... and they have so many sales and finance options. Today we were there for a couch (although I wound up getting the overpriced throw blanket featured as well because it was so pretty and soft, lol!)Our sales lady Denise was very sweet and gave us plenty of space to browse but also was available for any questions. We wound up leaving quite happy with our product and sales experience. Will definitely be back again ♡
Bought furniture from Zach, can't recommend him enough, great salesman, they have reasonably priced furniture, and they actually have a warehouse, so you don't have to wait months for delivery, we're actually getting our furniture delivered the same week we ordered it. We will be going back.

We had a wonderful experience at the Ashley Furniture in Janesville, Wisconsin on June 13, 2021. Our sales associate was Kelly Difiore. She was very attentive, informative and patient as we picked out several pieces for our rental home in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. We were selling a home in Michigan which included selling all of our furniture, and relocated to Wisconsin on August 10th. As it came time for our delivery in August, we were notified that our furniture delivery would be delayed until October. This was not acceptable. I called Kelly to explain our situation and in a few days she had managed to procure the furniture, except for one piece, to be delivered on the original date of August 11. We had our final piece delivered on September 1. Kelly did a fantastic job and should be commended for her dedication to make our move to Wisconsin a pleasant one. We are very pleased with her knowledge and quick action and will certainly allow her to take care of any of our future furniture needs. Thank You, Don and Doris Poshak
Went in to get some furniture after moving to the area. Would give the actual shopping experience a 4-5 star rating but unforunately, the experience after shopping was pretty bad. I understand that with the pandemic, shipping and manufacturing times are longer however we were told we would receive our furniture at the end of June. This got rescheduled to the end of July. I then had to contact customer support to be told that pieces would not arrive until September with no updates from the store we bought the pieces from. On top of this, we were told we could do pickup in store by our salesperson. As it turns out, this is not the case and we have to drive 45 minutes north of the store to actually pick up the parts from their warehouse. Really frustrated with the lack of communication and transparency at the store. Would highly recommend you search elsewhere if they tell you your desired furniture isn't ready to be picked up the day you go shopping.

We stopped at Ashley furniture store in Janesville looking for mattresses. We worked with Chris Sheridan. He was professional, fun and knowledgeable. We ended up buying 4 mattresses. Chris was so helpful and so much fun to work with. Such a great experience, we will definitely be back again.
We worked with Kelly D. at the Janesville location. She answered all of our questions and what she didn’t know she looked up. Her attitude was amazing and we got the furniture we wanted with some extra perks we didn’t know were available to us. Recommend this being one of the first places to look for better quality furniture at more affordable prices with the help needed but without the push to sell.
I really like the way they have only one salesperson at the front of the store to greet you. You no longer feel like you're constantly dodging them because they're on commission. Our salesperson was Sarah Knilans and she was super! She was personable, very friendly, but not pushy. She pointed out a few things that we told her we were interested in and then said she would let us look and follow up later. It was so nice to shop hassle-free, without any other salespeople bothering us. She gave us plenty of time to look and then did follow up with us. We showed her the couch we liked but wanted a softer one. She didn't show us anything based on price, but one that was perfect and happened to be 50% off. There was an extra fee that she removed & then quickly completed the sale. I was very impressed by her professionalism and fabulous customer service. My 13-year-old son commented several times on the pleasant experience he had because he was acknowledged and included in on the conversation (unlike many who would have ignored him because he's a "kid.") We haven't rec'd our couch yet, but hopefully it's above and beyond just like Sarah's service!

Our experience has been awful. We selected a sofa in May and was told that expected delivery was 5-6 weeks. This was reiterated several times as I know delivery turnaround is bad everywhere. Our sales rep told us “I can show you styles that are out 4-6 months if not longer, not this one, maybe even sooner than 5 weeks.” Great! We paid cash and off we went. Now, here we sit with no sofa and a “new” delivery date of September 9th. And that’s only estimated. Our sales rep has never once been honest with us about the delivery date always giving us a date to keep us happy. I had to contact corporate to get the time frame I have now. I have since reached out to the Janesville store manager with my concerns, and SHOCKER, they have not even responded. I will never shop any Ashley store again. Very disappointed.
Overall great place to refinish any room! Room consultant Mckenzie is very friendly, and very helpful. Overall my experience there today was wonderful 1st time at that location, it was due too Mckenzie Difiore....Will return again this week too purchase a living room piece. Wonderful experience!

I had to quickly pick out furnishings for an Assisted Living Apartment and wanted style, function and pricing to be all in place. We selected furnishings for bedroom living area and dinette. Pricing was good,and we selected between the Clearance Outlet. Availability if everything with in the month seems a slight long but will meet our needs. Denice was great!!! She seemed to know her inventory and grasped quickly the style I was looking for as a whole.

If I could post 0 stars I would. I ordered two pieces of furniture that took weeks to have delivered. The cushions of the couch were all different firmnesses. The springs are already shot on the couch. The fabric is already pilling after only a couple months of use. (Pilling isn't covered under warranty by the way. Apparently we aren't expected to actually use our furniture.) The springs were already showing through the seat of the chair that we purchased and we've had to flip the chair over multiple times to tighten the legs back down. When I called to get service, they sent us a new cushion for the chair and new legs. The cushion came with an ink stain. After over 3 months a tech finally made it out to our house to look everything over. I received a text message stating that they will not exchange the couch because pilling is "normal wear and tear." I called the customer care number twice and was on hold for 15 minutes. The second time I actually was able to talk to a person. When she sent me over to the manager's phone, it was not answered. Do. Not. Buy. From. This. Company. They are woefully understaffed and are not standing by their furniture.

We were looking to purchase furniture for a fresh update in our home. Amber Flick went above and beyond! We are doing all of our shopping with 3 kids (ages 1-8) with very busy bodies. Amber gave us her personal line and stayed in contact with us through all of the hard decisions, what we could and shouldn’t wait on, and all of the times we said we would come back but couldn’t make it. She was very helpful with decision making and patient with our schedule. Highly recommend and will be back when we’re ready to purchase more!

Ordered a bed and mattress set in January. Delivery date supposedly 5/11/21. Waited 4 months, delivered today with no hardware to put it together. Now they want us to wait 4 more days to get the hardware and have someone here to put it together! I now have no bed and furniture scattered! What a cluster f..k! Beyond frustrated! I will never purchase from them again and I am now looking elsewhere for living room furniture!

The sales person was nice. The sofa is nice. The delivery experience was a nightmare. I scheduled delivery April 17 and was assured they would deliver it in home to my 2nd floor apartment. First they called me and wanted to deliver 4 weeks early. I said I could do a week earlier due to living in an apartment and needing to dispose off the old couch first. Fine. Scheduled for Sunday April 11th. Took off from church duties to be home in the morning. Got a text that morning saying they wouldn't be delivering that day and would instead deliver it in the same time frame the following day. I work full time and have no sick or vacay yet. I tried texting back,. No response. I tried the # the text gave to reschedule. Not open. Called the janesville store, also not open but left message (which they never returned). Finally I got a hold of the customer care line and attempted to reschedule. I couldn't be home until 4pm most days. So they got me in april21 (5 days after my original delivery date). I was assured once again that they would deliver it inside my 2nd floor apartment. The day before the new delivery I get a text saying that it will be delivered first, between 8 am and 12pm. I called customer care again who said it was only a preference and didn't need to be followed. Yet again I confirmed that they would deliver it inside since I would have to have someone else there to meet them. Ok. Fine. My mom works from home and went over to let them in. When they arrived the delivery people refused to bring it inside, telling my mom that they only do first floor apartheid and then went on to tell her that the sales people just lie to get the sale. So my mom called in help and they tried to move it upstairs in the process of which she injured herself Finally, the next daysome friends were able to.help me get it upstairs. I've been trying to reach the store to chat with mgmt about this or with customer servicebut have had no luck. If you buy something, do yourself a favor and find another way to get it delivered.

My daughter purchased a sofa.She confirmed with two different customer service Representatives that they would be able to deliver the sofa to a second-story apartment. They rescheduled the delivery day 3 times.Then when they delivered the sofa we were told they would not even attempt to take it up to the apartment. The delivery person.said that sometimes the salespeople don't tell customers that they will only delivery to one story residences because they need to make a sale. We will not give them our business again. Ridiculous.

I am probably one of the pickiest and most difficult fits that a Sales Specialist can come across. The living room is very narrow, where we live. Also, it had been 9 years since buying anything new for our living room. Stacy and Kaylie at the Janesville location are "AMAZEBALLS"... never once did they lose patience or push anything I did not want. They searched relentlessly for the perfect fit! When the small but BEAUTIFUL sectional arrived... it fit like a glove! I realize everything can be ordered on-line these days but there is something about that personal touch that I prefer. Stacy and Kaylie, I truly thank you for understanding the importance of this purchase being the right fit. Your services and patience are of SUPERB QUALITY!!!!! I highly recommend this sectional for anyone that is looking for a perfect fit! The delivery team was SPOT ON, too!
I'm not sure if all the employees are as nice and friendly as Jason Marzahl but he is amazing. He was a huge help and went above and beyond to assist me with purchasing a sectional sofa. The store was clean and bright. Everything about my experience there today was 5 stars. I'm so happy with the purchase I made and am so excited for it to be delivered.
Jason took care of us initially when we came in, listened to us and let us try our multiple beds to see what felt best and was in our price range, was never pushy. We shopped around and came back to purchase the whole set up from Ashley where Michael took care of us as Jason was off, he also was never pushy and made sure we got taken care of and ordered everything we needed. Horrible buying experience twice now! Never again!!! They Never delivered on time, wrong items were delivered. When the right items show up they are damaged somewhere.
Ordering our furniture went well, and staff is pleasant but received our new couch in damaged condition. Took 5 weeks to get a day scheduled for repair, then did not get a scheduled time until 3 days before and even then, it was only a time frame (before noon or after noon). Very inconvenient for receiving new furniture that arrived damaged.

I became a very unsatisfied customer. I ordered a sofa end of January, was told back ordered a month. Kept in touch with salesman and he kept assuring me that it would be soon. Went there last night to find out my sofa wouldn't be available until May. I don't like being strung along especially with the sum of money I had spent. Better not be a month on my refund. I won't hold my tongue then.
Being a first time buyer for new furniture it has been a very confusing experience, I got it all wrong in the beginning with dimensions and where the heaters are in the house. I have been working with Amber F In the Janesville, Wisconsin store and she has been totally accommodating and very helpful with all the changes I’ve had to make.Thank you so much Amber! As soon as we walked in we had a stalker! She literally would not leave us alone. It was very clear that we wanted to be left alone. And then when she found out we were looking and didn't know if we were purchasing that day, she basically ran away. The furniture was very overpriced. We did end up making a purchase that day at another store because the prices were great and the sales people didnt stalk you. If you like someone following you around and like to spend triple what something is worth, then this place is for you. I will never go back here again!
My husband and I recently stopped in our go to furniture store, here in Janesville WI, since we are doing some remodeling. I felt we were being blown off (since we have bought lots in the past, and they knew we would buy more), and I was ready to buy that day. Sooooo, I had the idea to try out the new furniture store in town, Ashley. That was the BEST idea ever!!! They greet you at the door, but not harassing at all (like some places). After we looked around a bit, they introduced Sarah K. to us, in case we have any questions. I have been in the customer service/travel business for 37 years, so naturally, I probably expect more from people, than normal 😀 Sarah K. is the BEST, and I can’t even believe she just started in August. She is soooo pleasant, down to earth, knowledgeable, accommodating, I could go on and on!!! I recommend Sarah K. and Ashley Furniture to EVERYONE!!! Absolutely the worst place to buy anything. We purchased a sectional and we were delivered the wrong color. We called and was told it would be fixed and that they would call back the next day with a date and time for pick up. We went 5 days without hearing anything, so once again we called again. Told them we just want them to come pick up the wrong couch and refund us our money. We are now on our 4th call after being told time and time again it has been fixed and still no refund and the couch is still here. We received a email with a tracking link to track our truck. We were stop #8 and they went from #7 to #9. So we called again and got rescheduled for another day. We will never be doing buisness with this company again. The customer service is beyond terrible, they lie about fixing things and making it right. I will tell everyone I know not to support this company at all costs. Absolute garbage of a company.
We went looking for dining room furniture, and wound up buying new living room furniture!! We worked with Sarah, she was amazing, and I would highly recommend her!! She was on top of our order moving it up for delivery, it was the best experience from beginning to end! The delivery was a breeze with the track the truck we could see where they were and when the would be there, the guy running the delivery was fantastic he gave the guys with him directions as one was newer, they were in and out!! My dad and I went in to get a recliner for my dad’s birthday yesterday. Sarah K. was our consultant and she is such a sweet person!! We had bought in august 2020 a electric recliner. When we received it, the recliner was already broken. I have demanded a new recliner but still fighting with them. It is now October and still nothing! Don’t buy from them they don’t stand by their products.
They don't wear masks at this store. The lady greeting us had it hanging completely off her face. Then we decided to walk to the back of the store and another worker didn't have one on at all. Also the secretary area where they do all the paperwork, none of those people were wearing masks. So we decided to leave immediately.
Before Covid. We got a scratched piece of furniture. They were hard to communicate with to resolve the issue and not responsive. We won&'t shop here again.

I don't know where to begin, this is the Best furniture store in the state of Wisconsin. To start off with, the sales associate Justin E. was amazing this whole adventure started on Wednesday and he was very understanding that I would need time to think about the beds I was looking at. Then came Thursday when I walked in he was ready to help again and was never pushy or irritated it took me so long to make up my mind. When I finally did get to my purchase which was the Chime 12" pillowtop with a mattress protector he was great at explaining all the details and everything, he even took time to look up other stores so I could have it by Friday because they did not have it in stock. Furthermore, he is not the only reason this store is amazing. The management at this store also exceeds any expectations I could ever have for a management group. Jessica T., Mike S. and I believe his name was Nate, not only handled a situation I had with grace and empathy but also was very personable and welcoming when I tried to talk to them. Mike was also very helpful in explaining the great options in the financing they offered and even took the time to write down information for me to help get it started. I now know that if there ever is another need for anything in the bedding or furniture department I will only go to this location. Thank you for all the amazing work you guys did for me.
The store is beautiful. They have amazing displays of just about every style. However, you will be hunted down like a deer in a lion park the entire time you are there. Sales people will approach you every 30 seconds. They also have very little in stock (supposedly it is Covid's fault - so it may not be the same if this ever goes away). If you see something there, do what we did: Go to the local Janesville Comfort Shop. Friendly people who don't just see dollar signs, they have things in stock or can get it faster, and they will beat Ashley's price.
Justin E is your salesman to go to. Did his very best to get my furniture to me in a timely manner. Very professional and really listens to what your needs are. In normal times furniture stores take time, during Covid it’s been longer. Need to have some patience!
Most uncomfortable shopping experience I've had in a long time. Also didn't realize they carry very little inventory and have some really long lead times.
Delivery times are ridiculous. I understand the pandemic. But, when the delivery time goes from 12noon to 4-5pm to 6:40pm to 10pm all in the same day, there is NO EXCUSE. Its very poor customer satisfaction for the Janesville WI store.
This is Ashley HomeStore’s version of white glove service, an unpredictable delivery time, and I assembled furniture. If you are lucky you will even receive all of the furniture that you bought. My Ashley HomeStore experience: The delivery men were expected after noon. They showed up about 5pm. I was not happy I took the day off of work to wait around all day long. They arrived and brought in a kitchen table, 4 of the 6 chairs we ordered and one stool that goes to the buffet that was still in the box. The delivery guy said it would take him 3 hours to assemble the buffet, I asked him to at least bring it into the house. He brought it in and left it in the living room and left. We called to find out where the rest of our furniture was. The person on the phone apologized and said that they will deliver it on Saturday. Saturday came and after sitting around most of the day I recieved a call informing us that our delivery would not be happening today since the delivery guys had called in sick. Great. Another day wasted. The new delivery date is now Sunday. We were home all day because we had no clue when they would arrive. We had given up hope that our remaining furniture was going to show up, then around 8pm a truck arrived! They dropped off our chairs and stool then left. By this point I had given up on hopes of them assembling the buffet like they were supposed to. We were just happy to finally have all of our pieces. After our experience I can NOT recommend Ashley HomeStore or Appliance and Furniture Mart. You might as well order it from BoxDrop or Wayfair and save yourself a bundle of money, after all you will likely end up assembling it yourself and moving it into place when your done. We have had much better experiences buying furniture from The Comfort Shoppe, they are right around the corner from Ashley HomeStore.

Amber took the time to explain all of the purchase details and shipping instructions. I give her 5 stars! My only disappointment would be the wait time on the drop shipping....not her fault.
Walked in and was greeted right away and the salesman jumped right into what I was looking for. David was awesome, I was in the market for a new mattress and he was very patient with me as I went from one mattress to another. He asked questions and pointed out what I might like. My salesperson Mary Kate was awesome! COMPANY ITSELF, NOT SO MUCH. Ordered a couch in May, to be delivered 6/29. On 6/28, I received a text saying due to staffing issues, it would arrive 6/30. On 6/29, the Ashley truck arrived with not only a severely damaged couch, but the WRONG couch! I refused it and contacted the store, even said I was willing to come pickup the floor model for same price as new.Store would not part with the floor model, and I was told it would have to be reordered and another6-8 weeks. Obviously cancelled and now couchless!

I would give no stars for the lack of service and defective merchandise we received. My wife and I are retired and we ordered the $170. "White Glove" delivery and setup. They finally showed up at 4 in the afternoon while I was out and my wife was at home. I arrived 10 minutes later, 2 men were in my home with no masks on. They were quick and efficient, chairs we already assembled so all they had to do was attach a table top to the base and carry in the chairs. All 4 chairs would rock a half to full inch from side to side. I suggested they needed to be adjusted and was told they did not do that and a technician would come out as they made a note. Nothing they would do as they only deliver. I received a call 2 hours later from customer service and was told they could send someone out in August, 2 Months away! When I expressed that as totally unacceptable I was hung up on. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY if you expect service you paid for. They make sure to note in their contract that they do not refund delivery fees and charge 15% restock for their defective merchandise, as long as YOU return it undamaged. I feel totally RIPPED OFF!
We went to Ashley because we thought they were a nice furniture store... however they are just trying to push u to make purchases. We ordered a bedroom set and we wanted a sectional; the sectionals we were told we wouldn’t get until the end of the month and we needed something now, so they sold us a reclining couch that we would get right away. When they came to deliver there was no couch and we were told we should have been notified. We obviously never were. Upon contacting them they told us that the couch we got is now on back order till next month!!! We would’ve gone with a sectional if we knew we would have needed to wait. Overall just a horrible experience and they didn’t even get back into contact with us for over a week! And have done nothing to get us what we truly want! Awful experience
Wish I had read the reviews first.I ordered online; I recently moved and ordered a sofa. And I ordered a cheaper one since I couldn&'t test it out. I figured eventually it&'ll be a basement couch once I found one of quality and style. I accept that.No legs for the sofa. I was told they were stuffed in the cushions. Nope.Call center is overwhelmed with calls ( hire more staff!) and it would be 48-96 hours BEFORE someone would get back to me. I called Saturday, it&'s Tuesday.Update: I did go into the physical store on Thursday and a very nice man (most employees were wearing masks, there was sanitizer) tried to help me. But online orders must be handled online. But he gave me great service.And Ashley FINALLY called me back roughly 216 HOURS LATER! Not the 48-96 hours. And they have shipped legs that will arrive in 8-10 days ( or will it? ). NEVER EVER SHOPPING ASHLEY&'s AGAIN!

Amber helped us and was awesome. She wasn't pushy and listened to us. Had a discussion. The price we got for our whole living room set was wild low. Two 23 year old girls that were actually helped and taken seriously. We're expecting to be completely ignored.🤗😍 can't wait to get it delivered!!!!
My 73 year old mother has an old sofa and stated that it is now starting to really hurt her back, so I told her we would go out today to look at a new one. I told her we would be very safe and I brought masks, gloves and disinfectant wipes and off we went. We first went to Steinhafels and immediately entering the establishment there was disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer. We were met from a long distance by a hostess wearing a mask and she proceeded to let us know their procedures to keep us safe and all staff and the clientele were ALL wearing masks. We then went to Slumberland and right in the door they had masks and disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer. ALL staff and clientele were in masks. Very accomodating and kind. We then went to Ashley Furniture where there were no accomodations as we walked in the door. We were immediately met by a sales person, no mask, who started to walk up to us and I had to hold my hand up and shoot him a dirty look to let him know to keep his distance, we then noticed that NO STAFF members and the majority of clientele were not wearing masks, we were shocked by this and immediately left the building with my mother stating, "I would never give this establishment my money". I would like to note that we did see sanitizing wipes way to the side of the entrance which we did not see until we were leaving the building. So I came home and shared this story with my husband and he stated, "well what do you expect, the owner is a known walker and trump supporter" and I stated, "it shouldn't matter what your political affiliation is, it is simple common human decency!" So Ashley Furniture showed to us today that they have no interest in their patrons safety and well being and I can guarantee that my family and my friends and everyone I meet in the future will hear this story and Ashley Furniture complete lack of decency and concern for their patrons!!! As a side note, in the 3 minutes we were in the store we noticed the prices were the same as the other stores we shopped at today, but the quality of their furniture was cheap looking! Poor customer service. Was told delivery would be in 3 to 4 weeks. 10 weeks later and still waiting for delivery. Tried to get phone numbers for customer service, but they refuse to give out the right number.
We purchased a bedroom set in January 2020. When the installers set it up, they noted on the paperwork that there was a gouge in the footboard and a couple of missing supports on the frame. NO ONE HAS DONE ANYTHING TO HELP US!!! When I call the Janesville store, the message tells me to go to the website. When I go to the website, it tells me to contact the store. What the heck? I've never had such terrible service and will never buy from them again
I don&'t even know where to begin with this review. I would give no stars if that was even possible. Once the sale is made, they cannot be bothered if you encounter issues. They pay lip service to &"Make things right&", but don&'t follow through. I purchased a dining room set, bedroom set, entertainment center, and mattress and box spring back in February. All pieces were to be delivered March 11th. On the day of delivery I took off work and waited. I was notified my delivery would happen sometime between 12 and 4. At 7:15 that evening I was notified that my delivery was canceled. It would have been one thing if that was the extent of the issues I encountered but it was far from it. My delivery was rescheduled to March 17th. When they arrived that day, I was told that they forgot my box spring and one of my chairs was damaged. They would need to have those delivered on a different date. They brought in the other pieces and left. After they left, I noticed they did not actuallassemble the entertainment center, shelves and handles were inside the piece. So I called in to the Madison store and was told they would make things right. I was supposed to hear from the delivery team on a new date and a floor manager would contact me to discuss compensation for all the screw ups. A new delivery date was set for April 2nd but I didn&'t not hear from the floor manager. On April 2nd, the delivery comes but they did not have the box spring . I have to wait, AGAIN, for another delivery date. Finally, the box spring was scheduled to be delivered on April 18th. They placed the box spring against my house and took off. Without any notice, no door bell. nothing. I don&'t even know when it was put out there. When we got it inside and got the plastic off, we found the piece wet. Not just a little wet but fully damp. I called the store and was again told that a floor manager would be contacting me. The box spring is now out in my garage waiting for Ashley to pick it up. This has been the worst furniture buying experience and would not recommend spending your money at this store.
I was in this store ordered expensive furniture. The first delivery was a disaster at best. The wrong bed frame was delivered and the theater recliner the bottom dust cover was ripped up and still hasnt been fixed this was in the beginning of March. Then my last piece showed up today April 14 when it was suppose to be delivered on March 17th all put together I paid for it. Guess what nope i had to put it together and to top it off it was suppose to be delivered the second time and wasnt on April 10th.This place is a joke and will tell anyone who ask me to stay the hell away.
Got a great mattress for an excellent price- still enjoying the mattress 3 months later. Paid 1/2 of what other people were asking.
We bought a full mattress and foundation. The mattress sags in the middle. Have contacted the store and filled out complaint forms, no return calls, and now the store is closed I'm glad we used a credit card, seems to be our only recourse.
We looked all over sun prairie, madison, milton box drop, and then janesville and I'm so glad we waited. We got our daughters awesome loft bed and the sectional i wanted. The sales guy justin was amazing, that guy should get a raise. His personality is why we made our purchase at this location. He wasn't pushy and trying to sell us more expensive stuff then we were interested like in madison. The whole time it was super comfortable and everyone was friendly. We'll definitely make the drive from sun prairie to buy our other furniture here.
Working with the salesperson Mike C. was a great experience for us as first-time buyers. He was attentive and helped us find what we were looking for but also gave us the space to make some decisions. The sectional we selected is great quality and we are happy with it even though the color was our second choice. The nearby couch that had the color we wanted happened to not be in the same collection even though it looked like it should have been. But the team did take the time to look into it and we appreciated that. Delivery was on time and the gentlemen were quick and careful. Overall we're happy with our experience and would certainly come back and work with Mike in the future.

Went in with my husband looking for a sectional. A lady introduced herself when we walked in and then proceeded to track us throughout the store. We moved to one area and I could see her basically running to keep up with us. It made me very uncomfortable and anxious. I hate being made to feel like I'm nothing more than a walking wallet. Then we found one we wanted and the wait would have been almost 4 weeks.I would rather pay a higher price and not be stalked than go in this store again.
I was so happy when Ashley came to Janesville, mostly because the store they went into had been unoccupied for years. Been in there twice and the experience is just so off-putting. I hate when salespeople are over the top greeters and then track you throughout the store like you're the next meal. Doing this just about guarantees that I won't buy anything from you. In fact, if I find the same thing at another store that doesn't track me, even if their prices are higher, I'll buy it from them.
We stopped in a little less than an hour before close at the Janesville store. The woman working never made us feel like we should rush and she was super helpful. Answered all our questions and helped us find the best fit for us. We’ll definitely return!

We were so pleased with the exceptional service and assistance we received from Mary Kate at the Janesville store; the price was well below what we were expecting! *Update: Ordered more stuff from Ashley and looked for Mary Kate found her and once again received...honestly, the best customer service I have ever received! We hit a couple of small snags and she dealt with them in the most friendly and efficient manner. I recommend that this very talented and hard working associate is rewarded for her excellent service!

I will avoid entering this store at all costs. Our last 2 visits there were nothing short of uncomfortable, with an extremely pushy mattress salesperson we could not seem to shake. We got out of there as quickly as we could and will not be going back, if I want something that badly I will just order online from the website or elsewhere.
The store would not honor price on tag when went to purchase. Lost that sale and any future sales.
Paid about $4000 for 3 piece sectional, full and queen beds, 2 dressers, and an accent table. Care team didn't notify me that I would miss a cuddler. Numerous calls and promises of call backs. Nothing. Called again was told manager would call. Nothing. Called again and was hung up on during wait and was advised after a certain time frame on hold it will hang up. I was told furniture is made from the orders but yet I am having to wait an additional 4 weeks. Total time is now 7 weeks for delivery that may or may not be delayed again. Huge company with poor service. I will NEVER shop Ashley again. I'd rather pay double price for better service. If delivery is delayed again I will be asking for full refund. Found out that delivery is now delayed from today 1/15/2020 to 2/12/2020. That is whole month more of a wait. Looks like I'm calling some people.
Bought a bedroom set for us and a new bed for my daughter on Nov 30th, 2019. They said the earliest for delivery was Jan 2nd. We received a call at the end of December that the headboard for our bed was delayed and would not be ready until Jan 3rd. So we decided to have it all delivered on the 3rd. Still the headboard was having issues so we had my daughters bed delivered on the 3rd and now our bedroom set for us was pushed to the 14th of January which we were not happy about. So with a definite Jan 14th date all scheduled in the system. Knowing we were getting our new bedroom set we got rid of our old bed and dressers. Bedroom is now clear and ready. We also asked our oldest boy to stay for delivery and arranged for the dog to not be home so she wouldn't bark up a storm. Both me and my wife had to work because delivery was after 12pm.I watched the furnitureappliancemart.com website because they deliver for Ashley and it stated we were number 10 for deliver at 1:10pm. I left for work and expected a call around 1:00 for when the delivery will be arriving. I got a call stating at 1:00 that the delivery guys could not deliver because 1 was sick and the other got hurt??? But they were able to deliver 9 other orders before mine and you call me 10 minutes before my delivery???That is shady as hell. I called and complained to Furnitureappliancemart and Ashley in Janesville and Madison Wisconsin about the issue. I have no bed, no dressers and an empty bedroom!! They stated it was out of their control and the new delivery would be January 16th! If you already have it on your truck and it was next in line deliver the darn thing! I also offered my son to help unload it for you. I find it hard to believe being I was already delayed again. They offered to give back $150 deliver fee which was a step in the right direction. I'll believe it when I look at the Ashley card bill. They also put the risk of damaging the bedroom set moving it again to another truck! Not happy about that. Salesman was good delivery was a joke. Now when they delivered on the 16th we had no bunkie board or the two lamps that we ordered that should have been delivered as well. Luckily the store had the lamps but now I need to go on a wild goose chase about my bunkie board which you need under the matress. Only reason we went to Ashley was because it was a new store in Janesville we received 0 percent financing and we already had some Ashley furniture in our house already. Next time I'll go to Sikers.
Have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for about a month now because our salesperson ordered us the wrong mattress foundation. Called the store after the delivery was made and he said it would be about six days until we got them but he would see if they could come earlier. Supposedly I was sent an email regarding details, I never received an email or phone call. I called the store and they said it would be about another week until we have our mattress foundation. When I called the lady that was helping me had an attitude as if I were the problem. It’s not our fault the wrong thing was ordered so why should I have to wait so long for the right item to come? This will probably be my first and last time shopping here. On the plus side the delivery guys were very nice and did a good job and were the ones that noticed the wrong foundation was ordered.
My experience at this store was 5 stars. Everyone was very helpful and informative with my recliner purchase. This was my first purchase at this store. I do recommend this store if you want to purchase furniture.

Terrible service and very unorganized. Was told our furniture was going to be in 12/03, then it changed to 1/03, the. It then changed to 1/09 for half the order and 1/12 for the rest. Lost a few pieces of furniture and had to go back 3 different times. They knew they had issues and never offered to make it right. Terrible
I NEVER write google reviews, or any reviews at all. But honestly I came home blown away. Hailee H. (who I highly recommend as your sales rep) was so friendly and patient in the process of looking at a new mattress. She answered all our questions (and trust me there were a lot) and made the process so stress free for us! When I heard she’d only been on the floor for 2 weeks I was blown away because she was so knowledgeable! She didn’t try to upsell is on things that weren’t necessary, but still made her recommendations based on what we needed. We can’t wait to finally get a good nights sleep and will definitely be seeing her again!
Let’s get real-Furniture Shopping is stressful! We came to Ashley, and met Amber our saleswoman. She understood what we needed for our place and let my fiancé and I talk and problem solve almost like a game of charades. She was patient and super helpful without being anything like your typical salesperson. We now have a go-to-girl from here on out! I highly recommend Ashley for their quality and quality of service from Amber. Tell her Mya And Luke sent you!
I purchased a custom sectional four months ago. About three months ago, it was delivered with tear in one piece. I don't want to bore you all with the details, how it took them forever to call and get it, but we still don't have that one piece. They WILL NOT call you to let you know what's happening. They WILL NOT schedule a delivery or pick-up for a damaged item around your schedule. They WILL NOT think of a creative solution and/or go out of their way to get this delivered and back into the customer's home. I just want to rest on my couch. I work unpaid hours to please customers. Why can't they?
Today we shopped the Janesville, WI Ashley. We wanted to purchased a bedroom set for a son who lives in Frisco, Texas and has an Ashley. I was informed we could not purchase the item and have the Frisco store take possession of the order, as they did not have that working agreement. What was shocking was that the Janesville store was unwilling to provide us with a written quote of the purchase so we could price check the same item in Texas. Wouldn't you want shoppers to stay in the Ashley family if you are unable to sell us the item?

Went in to look at mattresses. The salesperson was very experienced and knew his product, but was more like the old-fashioned high-pressure furniture salesman, immediately steering us to the most expensive options. Kind of a turn off.
A few good sales people. Was lied to about financing on a store card, was told I had to put 20% money down no exceptions and I had to pay for delivery and tax upfront. Asked about ordering online (free shipping) was told I would still have to pay 20% and delivery. Finally asked for them to check with a manager and came back with same answer. Went home and ordered item online with store card. No 20%cash upfront and I saved money with an online coupon offer.
I was lied to about financing terms. Contacted financial company and was told no down payment was required if purchase was under limit. Walked out and will purchase elsewhere!
My boyfriend and I went in to Ashley today to look at a sectional. We worked with Caesar(forgive me, if I’m wrong because the paperwork is in the car while I’m writing this). He was excellent and knowledgeable. He was not pushy, he lets us just look around and then patiently showed us all of our financing options. We are so excited to have a functional living space in the next two weeks. Thank you so much for everything today. We feel like we have a friend at Ashley HomeStore.
Hunted around for an L-shaped couch WITHOUT the gimmicky ottoman protruding forth from one end. You would think that would not be that difficult to find, but the attached ottoman was unfortunately all the rage among davenport manufacturers in 2019. We finally alighted on Ashley Furniture and were almost immediately gratified with a simple L-shaped sofa with ample stuffing and stout wooden feet- ON SALE! Huzzah! They were able to modify the long/short configuration after a two month wait and one false start. (The first delivery was sent back with heartfelt apologies from our salesperson at his clerical error.) It was well worth waiting for however. We had found a durable fabric in a subtle shade and comfortable as all get-out.
We visited Ashley Furniture on Saturday to look at theater seating. We worked with Kelly to find exactly what we needed and made our purchase. She was so great to work with, that we returned on Sunday and bought new mattresses as well! She listened to our wants and needs and her suggestions were spot on. We didn’t feel pressured to make a decision, which was refreshing! Definitely recommend.

I had a terrible experience (yet again) and this is the last straw with shopping at any Ashley HomeStore.We bought a dining and bedroom set a few years ago and had a number of issues with delivery. The store manager promised us a discount and when I contacted the store to use it, I was told the manager had left and there would be no discount. Nice.I bought appliances this time around. Was told they could be installed without issue and picked a day for delivery. Had to confirm delivery via email, text, and phone at various points leading up to delivery day. I called once more the night before to be sure and confirmed that everything was a go. Sold my old appliances the morning of the delivery and here is where the problems really get going.Microwave and dishwasher arrived with installer. Unfortunately, no way to install microwave (my fault and I have plans to install it on my own this weekend) and no way to install dishwasher. I had explained my dishwasher setup to the salesperson and had received confirmation twice that there would be no issues. I was able to request a refund for the installation fee, but now have to hire a plumber and electrician to get the dishwasher installed. I would have been fine with this, but it would have been nice to know this in advance.At the very end of my delivery window (for the fridge and stove), I get a call saying the delivery truck and its backup had broken down. No delivery until Tuesday through Friday next week. I am at a conference Monday through Wednesday, so had to pick Thursday. I asked why the next two days would not work, but was told since the trucks were loaded in advance, they would not be able to help. That is ridiculous. Rent a different truck and make things right for the customer. I have no appliances! I have called and left messages for managers twice and did not receive a response until I called Ashley Corporate. And even then, I just received a message saying they were working on it.The last issue, I found the appliances for a slightly cheaper price (this was before delivery). I wasn&'t going to worry about it, but now I am more frustrated because I could have avoided the delivery issues and paid less if I had looked elsewhere.I filed a BBB complaint this morning and will be sending the BBB store review later today.Avoid this store - they don&'t care to help customers when they mess up.11.15.19 - called again today and left a message. No response. No idea when or if we will receive our appliances. Also, dishwasher is missing a part.
I went to Ashley to test out a couple of sofas that were on their website. Unfortunately, they didn't have either sofa in store, however, Cesar went above & beyond trying to locate nearby stores that had them on display. He also showed me other sofas that were on display that had similar fabric so I could get an idea of how the sofas would feel. He took the time to answer all of my questions, take measurements of furniture, ect. He was immensely knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. While I didn't end up purchasing a sofa, I found an amazing bed, head board & lamps. Thanks for all of your help Cesar!

Be wary, they do not keep promises on delivery. So order from somebody else if you can find the same furniture. Unless you want to wait 2 months and go through a huge hassle. Then choose Ashley

Took off work to get loveseat and sofa delivered only to receive just the loveseat as the sofa was on backorder. This past Saturday, the sofa was supposed to be delivered between 9 and Noon. I received a phone call at 11:30 that they were overbooked and wouldn't deliver the sofa that day. It is Monday, and I can't get through to either the delivery service nor Ashley's customer service to reschedule. Frustrated!
My wife and I recently had a very good experience buying a dining room set at the Madison, WI Ashley Homestore. Our Sales Professional, James, was knowledgeable, kind and listened to our needs. He was never pushy and helped us make a very good decision with this major purchase.
The people there was fantastic to work with and very good at there jobs . They new all of the answers that we had very knowledgeable would highly recommend them🤗

We bought a bed 2 weeks ago to be delivered on a Saturday. The morning of the company says we did not confirm the delivery. They had entered the wrong phone number. How were we to confirm if we never got the call? The manager and salesman are responsible for their actions and we get no bed. They both said it was our fault. .The salesman says " I just sell the furniture ". To bad he cant enter the information correctly in the computer. So moving forward. If you chooes this store double check their information cause it will be your fault. Will not be back. Terrible customer service. Make it right. As reading other reviews this is not the first delivery screw up.

I wanted to share our recent experience with the new Ashley Furniture store in Janesville to anyone thinking about shopping there. Our experience at the store went great and their employees were very helpful, however, the delivery service was a disaster...to say the least! All three guys who delivered our furniture were injured and while trying to bring our new furniture inside they damaged multiple things in our house. They scraped the woodwork down our stairs, dented our freshly painted wall down the stairs and scraped the entry way to our newly finished basement. They dented our wall to the living room while bringing in that couch. They striped the screws to our end tables while putting them together and cut our carpet with their box cutter while opening the box. They damaged the loveseat when it dented the wall on the way down the stairs, as well. They put a huge scrap/dent in our railing down the stairs. Four of the end tables we ordered were scratched, poorly assembled, or missing screws. The rug was of very poor quality. They told us that they had no room in their truck to haul away our old couch (which we paid to be hauled away) and tried to tell me there should be a moving fee, since they moved it to the garage... which was halfway to the truck. Needless to say all of our furniture is being returned and we will shop somewhere else. They are sending there property damage assessment crew out to assess the damage to our house 😡😡😡

We went to Ashleys to see what they had after going to several other furniture stores for an sectional power recliners. Right from the start our salesperson was Justin who was very helpful not pushy and showed everything they have and offered different options for what we were looking for. The unit was put together from books and the price was so attractive compared to what we already looked at and we had to order it right then and there. Justin offered no interest for several years and delivery was very cheap and i normally pick everything up but this deal was so good we had all delivered. I am going to go back soon after the holidays to get a bedroom set. Thank you Justin for all your help.
So very disappointed in this store. I purchased based upon their promised date I could pick up. That came and went and no call, just “nope not here” when I called. Well past the promised date, they called to say order in. Upon pick up they discover only half of order is in. Now no one has any idea where other half is. Extremely frustrating.
I would never, ever, ever recommend this store to anyone. First, they showed up nearly four hours after their &"10 minute&" arrival notification call. Drive didn&'t knock on the door and walked in unannounced with a plain V-neck tee shirt on smelling of marijuana.After the initial frustration of his entry without knocking and lack of professionalism I&'m informed the chaise was delivered in the wrong color and that they wouldn&'t be bringing that into the house. Understandable, he claimed I couldn&'t turn away the whole order (three piece sofa) because it was a custom order and I&'d need to &"figure it out&" with my salesperson.Seems rather fishy and a BS line. Called my salesperson, Jenny who was helpful and said a customer service rep would call me shortly. Rep calls and informs me that my chaise was delivered to another house FIVE days ago. I let him the lack of honesty and professionalism is unmatched and that I need this unsafe, unassembled furniture picked up or it&'s going to left on the side of my house for trash pickup. Assistant Manager, Brian calls me about an hour later stating their mistake is mine and that custom, hazardous , unassembled furniture i paid $3000 and is a safety concern for my two young children (it has metal connectors exposed that could easily catch a child&'s toe or finger) isn&'t refundable. He said tough luck, I threatened to call my bank to open a complain for return. While on the phone with my bank they stated this branch has had multiple similar complaints and started to document my issues and they would proceed accordingly. Assistant Manager, Brian called while I was on with my bank and stated he would have a crew pick it up but didn&'t state when I would see my refund or paper work for it.

We can't wait 2 weeks, we can hardly wait 2 days. Every time you're on customer service line, you're on hold for 10-20 minutes. We were promised it would be there on the 5th, 6th at the latest by Charles, who we were told was the delivery route manager (later to find out he is not). Not delivered on those days, surprise surprise. Called and spoke with Cody, manager, who finally...after several calls, mind you...promised delivery on the 8th. Guess what - it's the 8th and haven't received so much as a delivery confirmation email. Called 8am, spoke with Crystal - she's promising me TOMORROW THE 9TH. Still haven't received email or call confirmation. Called again at 11, spoke with Anthony who is also confirming that my delivery is set for tomorrow and all we are waiting for is the delivery people to "refresh their page" that has the routes and mine will be added and then I will receive confirmation. I highly doubt this will happen. It's been BEYOND frustrating. We ordered a sofa sleeper two weeks prior to my parents visit. Delivery was scheduled for days prior to their arrival. We were told by Marcus, a manager, the drivers will move the old couch and put the new one wherever it needs to go based on your space available. We didn&'t know if it would fit in the bedroom or living room. When the drivers arrived, they were rude and unprofessional. Shoved the couch into the doorway and rubbed it all over the walls, transferring white paint from the couch onto the couch, ruining it in multiple places. Before they even got the couch into the house one of the drivers said &"It&'s all messed up. Do you still want it?!&" Ordinarily I would have said no, but with my parents coming in two days what choice did I have. I told them no I need this and they said they&'d indicate that they damaged it on their delivery notes. Then they left the couch in the middle of the house and didn&'t put it where we wanted or more the old one. We called to report it and sent pictures. Nobody contacted us about what was going to be done or apologized about the service. Then a few weeks later we got a notification that a replacement was headed our way and would be delivered on some random day. We picked our original date because one of us would be home, now we are at their mercy. We made arrangements for the delivery and the truck broke down. To which they say &"It&'s at the store, come pick it up when you can.&" We do not have a vehicle big enough to transport it AND we paid $100+ for the delivery. I called customer support again and the woman gave me a $50 gift card. Nice of her and it wasn&'t her fault, but where is the management team to handle these situations?! If we were to buy this damaged piece in the showroom it would be $200+ reduced. Is that asking for too much when it comes to now a third attempted delivery? I just got off the phone with the delivery service minutes ago and they had a pickup scheduled for the couch, but weren&'t going to deliver the replacement! UNBELIEVABLE. Talk about poor service. They do NOT live up to the customer service provided in the showroom. We will NEVER return.
I would never again purchase from this store again. We went in on September 22, 2019 and we had a great expeerience with the sales person we spend close to $10,000 on furniture. We were set to get delivery on October 2nd. We still had a balance to pay and we called on September 29 to make the payment and a employee from the store promised us, guaranteed us that we were still going to get our items delivered on Wednesday October 2nd. I was suppose to get a call three days before to schedule the delivery and nothing. I called Monday September 30 and they could not help me because their system was not working so I was then suppose to get a call back and no one called me back. I called back on Tuesday October 1st around 11 am and left a voicemail...it was almost 4 pm and still no one had called me back. I then called again and they said that they were not going to deliver my items because it was not paid on time even though we spoke with an employee on Sunday and they said that the payment was going to be processed and guaranteed us that it was going to still be delivered on time. Now my items will to be delivered till Saturday, with another item not being delivered till October 9th. It took them two hours to call me back and it wasn’t even the manager who has the decency to call me. Please do not waste your money on this store. They have terrible customer service and are very rude and unprofessional. I will let everyone that I know and I will never again purchase from them.

Once we selected a mattress and didn't purchase the additional products we were then told since we did not spend enough money we would have to pay 119.95 for delivery or pick up the mattress with in the next three days. We were unable to self pick up and chose to have it delivered. We were then told about the specific parameters for deliver and if we were not on top of the delivery parameters our mattress would not be delivered. We met all the expectation and made several modification in our schedule like: half day off work, arranged a 3rd party to be at our home. That morning the delivery driver called and said it could not be delivered. My husband felt he was given the run around by the driver and sale associate. We would never received any compensation for our time and inconvenience and still have yet to receive our mattress- that we payed for on 8/28. If their was an option to not even give it any stars I would have.

Lesson learned the hard way. Dont buy furniture online. Bought 6 dining chairs, they come not assembled, my husband put three of them together before I got home and all three of them had something wrong with them. Wobbly legs, and torn fabric. Called the ashley customer service, after being on HD for 53 minutes was told that I could ship them back. Cost me $ 209.00 dollars to return. We will see if there are any further issues regarding getting a full refund. I anticipate more problems. I have bought more furniture than I could count from ashley but this online experience will prevent me from spending another penny on any of their furniture.
Prices are good and the salesman was very nice and polite. He didn't pressure me even though I was just looking.
Very nice store. Best part was the sales associates are helpful, but don't follow you around and bother you the whole time. Came here just looking for a dresser and fireplace tv console because I bought a furniture set at slumberland the day before. I ended up buying a new dresser, tv console and a FURNITURE SET! "Thank you Denice" Will be canceling my Slumberland order!
We went in the Janesville, Wisconsin store, just looking around , sitting on different recliners and this one female salesperson comes up to us and said"I am glad you are sitting on all my furniture, it needs to be broken in". I thought this was a very rude and sarcastic thing to say!! We will never go in that store, again!!!
The sales process wasn't bad. In fact, the sales person was very nice and informative. But after we paid for our sectional sofa and the order was placed, that's when the awful experience began. We were told our sofa would be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks, and when we didnt receive a call after 5 weeks, i figured i would call and check in. Over the phone, we were able to set the delivery date at the very end of our 6 week waiting period. The day before our sofa was to be delivered, we received a call that our order was back ordered and we had to wait two more weeks for the delivery. Literally 24 hours before our scheduled delivery. We got rid of our previous couch to make room. So now we dont have seating for two weeks. The day arrived (2 months after we ordered) when we got our sofa delivered. But it arrived damaged. So we had to send it back and wait another 3 weeks for the new sofa to be delivered. Again, we didnt have seating after assuming we would already have the sofa by now. Now that it has been about one year of owning it, the springs have broke and the cushions fall through, the arm rests broke, and the terrible quality is really showing. We regret buying from Ashley and wont be back anytime soon.

I honestly have never had an experience like we did at this store; 2 visits and zero contact from multiple sales persons. All other customers greeted and assisted, went to the desk, still no acknowledgement. We left and now our business goes to the online store. Very disappointing.
Lots of sales people standing around and not ONE asked if I needed help! One was helping a lady and saw me looking and testing. I was standing near them when they were finished but did he come over to me...NOPE! Off in another direction. Didn't even say..I'll b with you in a minute. poor, poor service!!
Awful. Our furniture arrived damaged and missing pieces from both the sectional and bedroom set. Joe, the store manager, laughed at me when I called to discuss. No one cared or was even polite. Seriously stay away from this place.
We have had an amazing experience with Abdulb on the appliance side and Jenny on the home furnishing side. They are both very customer service oriented, patient and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a hand. The prices were amazing!
Do not waste your time and money here. They did not communicate anything to me, lied to me, and were unapologetic. I ended up cancelling my order and shopping elsewhere. I will never shop there again despite needing a lot more furniture. I purchased a coffee table and scheduled the delivery for Saturday the 6th, because I work on weekdays. Keep in mind the delivery fee is about $150, so already overpriced. Also the 6th was 2 weeks after I purchased the coffee table, so it was already a very long time to wait. They are supposed to email you with a delivery confirmation 72 hours ahead of the scheduled date. I never received such confirmation, so on the 5th I called them to see why I hadn't received that notification. The first person I spoke with said my delivery was scheduled for the 8th. I was never informed of this and the 8th did not work for me because it was a weekday, so the person I spoke with said he would call me back after he checked with a manager to see if they could still "squeeze me in" on the 6th, the date I was supposed to receive it in the first place. I never received a call back. Several hours later I called again, and the person I spoke with this time said my delivery was scheduled for the 11th (ANOTHER weekday). WTF?? I told them I had been informed it would be delivered on the 8th only a few hours earlier, and that was after I was expecting it on the 6th! This person was extremely unapologetic, gave me the usual "I understand your frustration but there's nothing we can do," and I asked to be transferred to a manager. No manager answered, so I left a voicemail and guess what? Never got a call back. So I called a third time. Keep in mind, I was on hold for 20+ minutes each time I called before I actually spoke to a customer service rep. I was shocked that the third person I spoke with was actually helpful. She told me the coffee table had been on schedule to be delivered on the 6th (the first time someone acknowledged that this was the date I had originally agreed on!) but was damaged in transit, which had caused the delay. She said they would not receive the new one until the 10th, which was why the delivery was scheduled for the 11th. So why did someone tell me the 8th earlier that same day? I still have no explanation. Why did no one inform me that my delivery was delayed? That's the worst part, they claimed they left me a voicemail with that information - they absolutely did not. I had no voicemails or missed calls at all on the day they claimed they left the voicemail. I asked for a refund on the delivery fee because of the whole mess. The person I spoke with said she would check and get back to me. No surprise here - I never received a call back. The next day I called again just to make sure I'm getting the delivery fee refund I deserve. They said they couldn't give me the refund, but had the nerve to offer me a $50 gift card. LOL like that's of any use to me at this point. I told them the situation again and that I deserved that refund. After waiting on hold again for awhile while they checked with the manager, they said again they couldn't give me the refund, but offered me a $75 giftcard. LOLOLOLOL. They both refused to refund the delivery fee after putting me through all this and were "unable" to schedule the delivery on a day I would actually be available. So I just cancelled my whole order, got a refund for both the coffee table and the stupid delivery fee. No one even seemed to care throughout the entire process. Guess what Ashley? I have a big empty house I need to fill with furniture, and you'll be getting no more of my business.
Not the cheapest furniture in the world but good quality and looks good. The in-store experience was super quick and easy, and Martha who helped me was very proficient and professional!

My legs were legit getting tired from standing there so long. I did NOT appreciate her asking what we did for a living which I did not give an answer to, WHERE we worked, WHERE we lived and even asking for a specific road!!! Seriously this is a furniture store, back off. I'm not telling some rando where I work & live. Are you trying to see if I need financing? Must have thought so, because she really went into it then. Extremely inappropriate and crossing the line. I was so furious I just wanted to turn around and walk out of there. Staff were all staring too so they were clearly aware of it. They sell overpriced junk and with service to match. Avoid this place i have had nothing but issues with the furniture and have to jump through a million hoops for services
