We were visiting Steinhoffals looking fo a matching dresser for our sleigh bed, purchased in a different state. We were returning home and saw an Ashley from the freeway We backtracked and stopped. Jim found our exact match, met our price point and now we await its delivery, happily. We like Jim, who was pleasant and informative.

When I bought my table a couple of days ago, I was not told that I would have to pay extra to have the boxes be brought inside my house. I was told it was $50 for delivery and $175 for them to build the furniture for me but was not told that it would still be $175 for them to bring in the boxes inside my house -AND NOT BUILD IT. That's insane. I should have been told and I would not be this angry and disappointed with this service. I never want to buy from you guys again. And when I called to ask why they couldn't bring the boxes in, they told me that it's an extra $115 if I wanted the boxes brought in my house! That information would have been important when I was at the store buying it!! Never again

I bought a couch and a set of pillows smelled awful. Like skunk. I noticed right away and thought it may have been a chemical they used. The other two pillows and couch were fine. I let them air out and used fabreze on them. No luck. Brought them back to the store. They didn't even look at them. I had to call the company on my phone. The gentleman I spoke to said he would look into it. Of course I felt like he didn't believe me. And he never called back. I love the couch and am fine throwing away the extra pillows. However I am concerned how I was treated. I am now Leary of shopping there again.
We worked with Zach from the Kenosha store and he was amazing. If you're looking for furniture make sure you ask for Zach.
Picked a couch that I would have ready in time for an event I had. Delivery truck showed up on scheduled day and said couch won’t fit. They didn’t even attempt to get it in. I called my sales rep Zach and he was upset and said they always overstep. Zach gave me options. I chose to pick up the couch or have them just drop it off, whatever was quicker. Now, they won’t be able to get it to me until the next week after the event. No option to go pick it up from the warehouse myself. They didn’t offer the floor model. I asked Zach to cancel the order. I will never shop at Ashley again. I was told horror stories from Ashley. I should have listened to them. I hope if you read this it helps you make up your mind where to shop for furniture.
Buyer Beware- We normally have had a good experience at Ashley. So this begins when we purchased a swivel rocking recliner in February 2024. From the minute we received it there was something that was not right with it. It did not feel like the chair in the show room and when you would sit in it, the chair would lean forward. After contacting Ashley they offered to send out a technician to try and resolve the issue. 4 technician visits later and the chair is still not fixed and they will not refund the money for this garbage. They dragged this situation out and they will not make the situation right. Offering me a store credit doesn't solve the issue when I don't need any furniture. Don't waste your money here, there is a better place down the street.

Furniture seems to look nice, but home delivery is a disaster. Do not let them in & out of your house without following to document every single incident or issue. If you do not confront them on the spot about every single issue they will do nothing for you…except blame you for the problem. At least Wayfair’s shipper takes responsibility when they create an issue. Avoid them at all costs unless you’re buying & take it with you. Beware short, non-specific reviews you see here as well…

I purchased bedroom, living room and dining room furniture and everything was in stock and delivery within a couple days, you can't ask for anything more.

We have bought from Ashleys 3 times now. This time was the best. They seem to have their store running much better then the past. I bought a lift chair from Ashley The salesman was Zach. He schooled me on all aspects of them. We love the chair. Consider this I had shopped lift chairs on line. I couldn’t find a store that serviced their own chairs. Ashley does. We opted for the extended warranty. So we are good. But consider this 1 place told me if I had a problem to call the manufacturer. Turned out they were in China. Do yourself a favor and stick with American made and serviced through the same store. Buy Ashley. In SE Wis. go see Zach

I love Ashley for the quality furniture they make! The store experience was a good one where we didn’t get the high pressure sales vibe, rather they let us look around freely and once we were ready we were helped out. Our salesman was very patient as we seemingly tried every recliner in the store before deciding on the best one after asking many questions about color options/etc for each one. We went in to replace one recliner but ultimately found two that we liked so we got two instead. The chairs were ordered and came in right when they said they would and the pick up process was very easy. Side note: I had a power recliner that I purchased many many years ago from Ashley that had the power reclining component go out several years after purchase. I thought I would need to replace the chair but decided to call Ashley just to see if by chance it was covered by some type of warranty. It was covered somehow and they ended up sending me what was essentially the entire metal frame and power seat component of the chair for free. It came very fast so I only had a “non reclining” chair for a few days. I became an Ashley customer for life that day. I always make sure that I get Ashley chairs as they do sell other chairs in the store, but I have always had great luck with those that Ashley makes themselves. Highly recommended!

We purchased a new sofa, love seat and purple mattress from Rash. He is very knowledgeable about the products and very personable. He also did his best to give us a fair price on the items we purchased. I would recommend that anyone interested in purchasing ant items from Ashley to Rash.

My recent visit to Ashley Furniture in Kenosha, Wisconsin, ended badly. Despite being long-time customers, the manager at the counter was very rude and unpleasant. After browsing furniture and considering more purchases, Anita Morris, a friendly employee, took us to customer service to deal with a previous (claim) delivery issue. But the manager greeted us with a terrible attitude. She was very rude and seemed unwilling to help us at all. It's disappointing to see someone in a position of authority behave that way. If Ashley Furniture wants to keep customers, they need to make sure their staff is friendly and respectful. In the meantime, we'll take our business elsewhere where we're treated better.
Will never purchase from this store again. Not only is the furniture low quality but the protection plan offered does not cover incidents they claim to. It was advertised as covering stains however the claim was denied because there was more than one stain. Do your research and go elsewhere. For reference see the low quality expensive sectional.

Angel helped us, it was a great experience. The workers did not follow us around and harass us like other furniture stores. They gave us time and privacy to look around and discuss. There were great deals when we went as well, ended up buying 2 sofas and delivery is going to be 2 weeks from the date of buying.

Drove 31 miles to purchase a bookcase. Got there and a very kind sales associate by the name of Darin helped me. Price listed online was $239.99. Darin said hed price match, no problem. I wanted to look for ottomans and when I was ready to purchase the bookcase Darin was busy with another customer. I patiently waited for him and because he knew it would take awhile he asked another associate to help me. She was finishing up with her customer so another associate stepped up to help me. However, he refused to match the price I saw online and said Darin didn't have the authority to price match. He offered $20 off but it was the principal. I was told I would get a price match, not $20 off. I walked out and won't be back. There are plenty of other furniture stores.

Thankful for the amazing customer service and care we received while shopping at Ashley Furniture. We were kindly greeted by Richie, and he accompanied us for several hours as we shopped for furniture and a mattress. He was very knowledgeable about mattresses and took the time to identify what mattresses were comfortable and a good fit for us. They do not stand by their product or honor the extended warranty purchased. They are doing ZERO to make this right! Came in the store for the second time. First time I was just looking the sales lady made me feel pressured to purchase that day even though I clearly was just looking. Joel and Roman delivered the stuff and they did a good job dealing with me asking them to move here or there. Very happy overall. Called the store looking for a lift chair for my mother because she had just gotten out of the hospital and we need a chair fast. We had been to several other stores today and nobody could help us on letting do same day pickup. When we called I spoke to a rep first on the phone. They then transferred me to Richie. He was absolutely amazing. He got us what we needed and made sure my mom was comfortable.

Having shopped elsewhere before coming to Ashley, I had seen some of the same pieces at significantly higher prices. Bought a coach from Ashley Furniture of Kenosha 3 weeks ago. The customer service has been awful. Our coach was damaged when it was delivered. Called the customer service and was treated poorly and they gave us a delivery date and time a week later. They showed up 4 hours after the initial time. I called them and asked why we were even told this time to begin with and they just gave us an attitude and said there was no time window. Rude service throughout the whole process. Made buying a coach a bad experience. DO NOT buy anything from them unless you enjoyed being lied too and given a hard time when you call and ask questions.

Was given scratched furniture. They set an appointment with me to come give it a look for 3 months out after being delivered. They never showed up. Give false information and constantly misscommunicate with their customers. I've also been hung up on over the phone in the middle of a conversation while given attitude.

They give you time to walk around at look at things without pressuring you which is always nice. They usually have some kind of sale going on so that you can bundle different things and save some money on some nice furniture. I'd gladly shop there again in the future

Really impressed with the quality of customer service I received at this location, and with the process overall. There aren't a bunch of brick and morter furniture stores left, but it's hard to buy these things online without testing comfort and durability in person, so after moving, I made the trip out to the Kenosha location just to get a feel for general prices and get an idea what I was looking for. Wasn't planning to buy anything at that time, just looking. The sale associate was great (Angel) - answered our questions, wasn't pushy, & was super personable, even after we were clear that we weren't making a purchase at that time. We took pics, wrote down prices, tested everything out, and went home to continue shopping online. Ended up coming back to the store a few weeks later and buying 4 things. They had no issue price matching other local stores, or their own products found online. Delivery was a bit of a wait, but it was during the start of the holidays, so understandable. It's flat rate shipping, so waiting for all items to be available to ship takes time, but the communication and updates were great! Delivery was a breeze, delivery guys were A+, and the store checked back with me to make sure everything was great as well. I definitely recommend shopping here! Pick out what you think you want, shop around to find he best prices, and go back and get buy from here. Prices are average to what I found everywhere else, but you can get a good deal if you're patient and do your homework! Quality is definitely above average too. Oh! Make sure whatever sale associate you start with, you know when they are working when you make your actual perchance so they get the commission for their initial time with you.
This was not my first time buying furniture from Ashley, but it was definitely my best experience! Angel welcomed us as we made our way into the store, we let her know we just wanted to browse first and she completely understood. We later found a couple pieces we were interested in and Angel quickly helped us figure out what was in stock and how quickly pieces could be shipped. Our pieces were able to be delivered in a WEEK! This turn around time is unheard of right now for furniture. On top of that, I got a call a day later offering to deliver my furniture 3 days sooner! All in all we had a wonderful experience with this store!

I purchased a sofa and table from Ashley and was so excited to have new furniture to show off during the holidays. I'm now completely disappointed. Both were delivered damaged. At the time they promised to correct the issues quickly, but I've been trying for two weeks and they still don't have an ETA as to when it will be done. I spent way to much money for all this inconvenience. Each time I call I feel like they are just stringing me along until I give up on it. Now all I have is damaged furniture I had to pay full price for and a horrible story to tell guests for the holidays. Update 12/27/2022 Still trying to get service for damaged furniture for over a month. No remorse given by the representative just a possible open date for service in another month. It will cost me a full day work to be available for the am/pm window. Then they just hung up on me. No credit for my trouble. They've made me feel like garbage. Never go here!
Ashley furniture is a complete joke. They delivered damaged furniture to some of my friends and they give you way more credit than what you need or ask for then turn around and close your account if you cant find anything worth quality to spend the line of credit on!! They don't stand behind their product, the corporate office is a joke when you call and they bamboozle you delivering incomplete sets only to start the interest free countdown! My friends ordered a loving room set, table and chairs and a bed. Each piece came months apart but they still started the interest free clock!! Bunch of scam artists!!!!

We also went to another store in town and was pretty much ignored. So because of the great service we purchased a living room set and a dining room set. Delivery people were awesome as well.

My saleswoman Mary Parker was absolutely amazing. She recognized that no one had helped my son and I while we were browsing and came right over to assist. She walked me through multiple dining room table sets that I liked and helped me to find the perfect set at a prove that worked for us. Supply chain issues are very real right now and she even put a rush on it to see if that would help me get my set earlier! And it did. Angelina and manager Joe was great! Angelina made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. Spent at least 3 hours in the store and walked out with a big smile on our face. Came in for a new bed and walked out with a new bed, bed frame, dresser and living room set. Came back a couple of days later to do a pay off and left with a dinning room set and night stand. Everyone there was nothing but friendly, helpful and gave a nice discount. Couldn't be any happier. Delivery was great and efficient. The set up wasn't long at all. They had to split one of the deliveries up between two homes & only provided the delivery service WE PAID FOR, for one of the homes. We have bought precious furniture here too. NEVER AGAIN. Still waiting for a manager call back.
I would like to tell you about a horrible experience that we had with your store after spending around $20,000 over the last 6 years there . This may not sound like a lot to your store but to the average person it's a lot and you would expect the service you receive to be great . When we were in the store to get some furniture we knew what we wanted and let the salesman know that when we walked in , he left us alone and checked on us occasionally , this part of our experience was great but from there it goes way down hill . Once we got to the register he was quickly passing us off to the women up front as you could see he has another couple waiting for him to finish their sale . He told us from the beginning of our interaction with him that if we were to by our grandsons bed and mattresses from him as well as the furniture that he would guarantee free delivery to both locations we needed them to go to . So we were given some paperwork to sign off on , never explained what it was other than showing the product and price ( in hindsight , I feel like this was where the integrity piece comes in ) we initialed about delivery but again nobody explained what type of delivery meant . First date of delivery for the bun beds and mattresses was supposed to be the following week , then we got a call that they were short on drivers and needed to reschedule so we did . Then the date got switched again , I called again and this time was told that the manufacturer didn't have the product ready yet so we were at their mercy , so who was lying the first person about being short or the 2nd saying it was the manufacturer? Either way the larger order got delivered on time and the experience was fine but I take you to today , the delivery driver just dropped off the furniture in the front of my daughters apartment complex , how would you expect her to carry that in to the 2nd floor by herself . We told the sales man at the beginning that we needed the same delivery to both locations , did not know nor were we told that there is white glove and just drop off , had we known we would have paid the extra . This should 100% be part of the discussion when selling something to someone but he chose to rush through the process so he could move onto the next , this was about commission for him and not customer service at all, very disappointing . I also forgot to mention that I called about a day or 2 after the sale and let one of the women at the front know that he said we would have free delivery but found a charge for the bunk bed delivery . She said that she would look into it and call me back , of course no call back . I did call to complain today and spoke to someone in delivery , he told me it wasn't deliveries fault , they did was they were supposed to and said he was transferring me to a manager , I did leave a message . I used to recommend your store to everyone based on the last 2 times we had been there and made purchases now I will be warning people to stay away because this is just like a used car business , all about the money to the bottom line and not at all to deliver great customer service to gain loyalty !!!!

I ordered a closet system online and paid for installation services from "Handy". After FIVE rescheduled install dates, I finally asked for a refund. I will NEVER use the installation services from Ashley's service provider ever again. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Two thumbs WAAAAYYYY DOWN.

I have been suffering for many months now . They send unfinished bed and now when i want to return the bed they dont want to do because they want to keep the money. They somehow trap you in . Beware people . With a custom made furniture they deliver wrong design have no idea why is that . after complaining they say its another 6 months. How come a custom order delivered different. This is worst store to buy furniture from . Its a trap and they want to clear their old stock asap.

Purchased a sectional couch on 08/05/2022. Excited to hear the couch was at the warehouse and would be delivered the following weekend. Upon delivery, the delivery team dropped the corner wedge out of the truck which deemed the piece broken. Fine they ordered us a new one. Was told it would be delivered the next Sunday. Received a message saying it’s delayed and we would be contacted with a new date. Was told they could do the next Wednesday. That’s fine. We told them we work until 5pm and that it would have to be after that time. They would not give us a confirmation time until the day before and the time was 7am to 12pm. Obviously not waiting at home that long. My girlfriend was late to work for this delivery. On top of that, the delivery staff that delivered the wedge had made some inappropriate comments to her that made her feel very uncomfortable. We contacted management and was told a supervisor would be contacting us (08/24/2022). It is now 08/31/2022 and we have not been contacted. On top of that, the wedge piece did not come with legs which would be fine but there is a power cord that runs under the piece. They said they would send some out asap. Alright fine. Glad to hear it. Get the legs to find they only shipped 5 (the piece needs 6 to keep it from wobbling) and sent no hardware. Would highly recommend shopping elsewhere as this entire experience has been nothing but problems and headaches. Oh and found out the website price was about $400 cheaper than purchasing in the store. We are told we are going to get a refund for the difference but we’ll see how that goes.

Bait and switch. Received a flyer on a power recliner sofa for $599. Drive to Kenosha store. Asked to see it. As we were walking, the sales rep said they put out a correction. Where that correction was done I'm still not sure because it's not like they sent a second for. Allot more money for the featured couch.

We really like going to the Kenosha Ashley Home store even though we live in Illinois. They have a larger selection than the stores by us. I didn't realize this was a franchise store until this visit so that may be why. Mary was very helpful after she realized what we were looking for.

BEWARE!!!!!! I ordered a tv stand. It came delivered broken and 3 minutes later my dog lost the end of his tail. Had to have emergency surgery on a Saturday afternoon. They won't pay medical bills and blame it on my dog for wagging his tail on their broken furniture.
We called ahead to verify that a specific dining room chair was at their location before coming to the store. The sales man (I won’t say his name out of respect) assured us over the phone that they had the chair at this location. We drove 30 minutes in the pouring rain to the store (and packed up our baby) and when we get there he says “we don’t have the one you’re looking for but we have one that’s a different color that’s similar”. We were so disappointed for being lied to. It felt like we were tricked into coming there so that we would be more likely to buy something. We explained that we drove out there to see the chair with intentions of buying eight of them. He didn’t apologize, just told us that it’s at the Stevens Point location. We left feeling very frustrated and we will never come back to Ashley furniture.
I recently went with my husband to get a new bed. MaryAnn helped us find the perfect bed for me and my husband. We both have really bad neck and back issues and MaryAnn did a fit test to find our perfect bed. She was so nice and friendly and she she showed us beds that would work for us. She helped us find the perfect bed for our budget. You leave there with a smile.
So many beautiful collections to choose from. We absolutely love our sectional and bed. Mary Parker made sure we got what we exactly wanted for our home. She was very helpful and helped guide us through a fit test to see what mattress worked best for us. She went above and beyond and kept up with our order. Made sure to inform us of the status of our furniture and of any changes to the delivery date. We will definitely be coming back!!
Best place to buy a mattress. Mary Ann asked me if I would like to be fitted for my mattress. At the end I found a mattress and a adjustable base that truly helped me sleep better. I have lots of issues with my lungs and breathing, but having the adjustable base has helped a lot

We went in and after finding a bedframe with storage on all sides that me and my boyfriend both loved we ordered. They had the wrong phone number on the order, okay mistakes happen. My boyfriend calls to check on the delivery and they pushed it back so he could confirm. Then it comes and the bedframe we got only had drawers at the end of the bed, the wrong rails so it can't even be assembled and no slats even though it was supposed to come with slats. When we tried calling they didn't answer their phone. So frustrated. Regardless this is the last time we are shopping here.

Went to browse and possibly buy a bed. Was in the mattress area to test out the mattresses. The representative or sales person for that area came up to me. Asked if I'm interested in buying a mattress. I said kind of. Told him that I have never bought a mattress and this is my first time looking. He did ask what am I looking for and I told him I honestly dont know. Was going to try some of your displays. The sales person simply said there are cheaper mattresses down the road that you can try. (We didn't even discuss what my budget was and assumed that I can't afford their mattresees) simply left. I would of probably bought a mattress that day if he would of given some effort or didn't assume my pocket book. Totally recommend not going here if they treat their customers this way.
Our favorite Ashley store. The employees are always so kind and helpful. During this last visit they entertained my 4 year old and made his day. Highly recommend.
****WRONG FURNITURE DELIVERED FOUR TIMES!!!!!!!!! This store is the worst. For almost a year now I still have not receive the correct couch. The first time my sales rep messed up back in beginning of march, our order was when our sectional was suppose to be grey but we ended up with a grey couch and a white sectional. Mind you we waited for four months for this. Ok, mistake happens. The second time the chase doesn’t fit into our front door. Ok, that can happen. So, we called up customer service and they told us that we can order and opposite facing couch and that would make an L shape couch for us which we wanted. Awesome, but it will take another 2 months. The other couch finally arrives and now it doesn’t come with a wedge to connect the two couches together. It just makes one very long couch and of course they don’t come with a wedge to make it into an L shape. Finally went back to Ashely picked out a whole new couch that will fit through the door, have the same things we wanted and will work in our living room. Sales rep, Darren wrote down the couch on post it and then we heard nothing. Call a week later come to find out HE NEVER PUT IN THE ORDER. Like really come on!!!! There was an amazing office person that went out on the floor and ordered it for us. But now, after 4 months!!!! THEY DELIVERED ME TWO CHASE WITH NO SOFA!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! I AM OVER THIS!!! Oh and the couch was originally over $1500 but we didn’t get any discount for the inconveniences just empty words of apologies.
Every helpful and they would go out o your way helping and understanding your situation and help find something there, we didn't get anything but felt very conferrable and will come back.

The salesman Steve would not let us browse with out incessantly hounding us, lurking over our shoulder and being in general annoying as hell. We asked to simply browse and we would let him know if we needed him but it was no deterrent to that ultra intrusive dude. Classic stereotypical slimy used car salesman type and it wasn't working. Would actually stand next to us, in our space and drum his fingers like "are you gonna buy or what?" attitude. He was so annoying we had to leave. Ashley Furniture must pay only on commission and they lost a whole house of furniture sales because of it...
Great no pressure salesman. Helped me pick out a living room set ( recliner couch and recliner love seat) and a Tempurpediac queen bed that's super comfortable ! Great people there !

The worst place to shop. A purchase of more than 4000 dollars. A dining room set and they send me the chairs, not the table. The Bedroom set sent me only the frame of the bed and also incorrect. When we call they, tell us that we have to wait until March for the table, for the frame of the bed we had to pay extra. Today is the fourth time they come to bring the foot board that is supposed to be the correct one but they continue to send the wrong one. I told delivery to pick up everything and take it to them because I don't want anything and they tell me that I have to pay 10% for return. I call the store to speak to customer service and they tell us it's 15%. For a mistake they still doing. Stay away from this store, they are scammers.
Very good selection of items, and they have a surprising amount in stock. We got the couch we love, and we got it in two weeks. Darren was very helpful and made sure things ran smooth. The price was very good, and their delivery service was top notch as well! It's not easy getting furniture into our apartment, and worked it out well. Would definitely look to them again in the future.

Mary Parker is fantastic! Recently, my old recliner went kaput. It was at least 8 years old, had been moved 6 times and I knew its days were numbered. Even so, I was devastated when it finally went. It was 6 o'clock on a Tuesday morning and panic immediately set in. Being handicapped and retired, I spent a good part of my day in that recliner. To make matters worse, I am a large man. What was I going to do? Because it was still early, my first move was to search Amazon. I found a couple possibilities, but delivery, set-up and the lack of personal help left me leery. Next up was calling the few local furniture stores in the area. I spoke with a family-owned store who had one chair that possibly fit my needs in stock. However, if it wasn't big enough for me, it would take 4-6 MONTHS to order one. Frustrated, I left messages with the two "chain" stores, said a prayer and crossed my fingers. About two hours later, my prayer was answered in the form of a phone call from Ashley's Mary Parker. She was friendly, knowledgeable and VERY positive. Not being physically able to get to Ashley, Mary sent me photos of the recliner she recommended for me with her sitting in it. My worries began to fade. After another phone call, a few more texts, my new recliner was ordered. four days later, it was delivered too my third-floor apartment and set up. That was two weeks ago. Since then, I have grown to love my new chair from Ashly, courtesy of Mary. I have her cellphone number and will definitely be calling her for any furniture needs that might pop up in the future. I highly recommend Ashly Home Store if you want quality and a fair price. And if you're in southeastern Wisconsin, make sure you ask for Mary Parker. She's the best!!!

I cancelled an order due to a delay in product and yet over a month later I have yet to receive my refund. The office manager Sasha has never once returned my call. The only helpful person was Juliana unfortunately it is out of her hands.
Had a wonderful experience at this store on Columbus Day. Lisa introduced herself and let us explore the store without being too pushy for a sale. Found a beautiful couch and her attention to detail was very much appreciated! We will be back for other pieces!
My husband and I prefer Ashley over the other furniture stores in the area. I wish they had a wider selection of dining room and kitchen sets. If you decide on Ashley, I strongly recommend asking for Kiondre. He is straightforward, knowledgeable, and really nice. He is not pushy and gets to know his customers to ensure he can present them with the best options. :)

My husband and I were in need of furnishing our new home and absolutely loved the service we received from Kiondre! He was informative, helpful and never pushy, I’d highly suggest asking for him if you stop in! After purchasing all of our items we have since had not such a great experience with customer service and delivery of our items. In the first delivery we were missing an item that was marked off on the manifest. We received our end tables and coffee table that needed to be replaced, the replacements we got were different sizes. We also had white glove delivery as I was 7 months pregnant at the time to be told by customer service other items we were waiting on would no longer be delivered and we have to pick them up. Thankfully Kiondre personally delivered those items. Lastly our nursery chair deliver date kept being pushed out an additional 2 months after having waited 3. When we went in to get our refund we were told it would be 3-5 days when we would see the refund. That time passed and I called in and it was not even processed yet. While the sales team did a fantastic job the rest of the experience was unsatisfactory.

Had a delivery a couple weeks ago for a couch. The couch had a hole in it so we obviously rejected it. Today, we had a reschedule for it. Well, they tried giving us the same couch with the same hole. Now we have to wait another month and a half. They do not know what they're doing over there.
I went in to look for some smaller furniture pieces for my new home. Diana greeted me at the door and although my salesperson Kiondre wasn’t there, she said she would help with any questions until he arrived. I looked around and took pictures of a couple of items and Diana caught up with me and checked on when they could be delivered. It would be less than a week, do I ordered my furniture and Diana thoroughly explained all the ins and outs. The sales price was great, although I do miss the days when you could buy furniture locally and have it delivered already put together for no fee or a nominal fee. I can’t wait for my pieces to arrive!

The delivery drivers dumped my daughters couch of on the side walk of her apartment building and sent her a picture saying it was delivered, while she was inside waiting for the delivery, Unaware they were there. The store told her they would come back in 3 days to put it in her place, like it would still be there in 3 days. Buy furniture anywhere else but here

My family was looking for a new couch set for the family room. We received top notch assistance from our salesperson, Kiondre. Kiondre was extremely personable and knowledgeable, and he took the time to learn a little bit about our family to understand our needs. He did a great job highlighting the differences between some of the sofas (e.g. material quality, features, ease of care, etc.) while also offering his opinion without simply trying to get us to buy the higher priced items. We left the store with a good deal and great 0% interest financing terms for two sofas. When we found an even lower online price soon after our purchase, we went back to the store and worked on a price match. Kiondre helped us with that as well, and it was simple and hassle free. I really have no complaints about our experience at this Ashley HomeStore in Kenosha!

I have been to about 5-6 stores looking for a new bed and nightstand. There were other nice beds but I did not receive the one-on-one help like I did with Nichole Widz. She was not pushy, trying to make a big sale. Instead she listened to me and together we found the right bed for the right price.

Don't buy anything not in stock . You will get promised a delivery date a month out. They will call at delivery time and back it up a month . Then they will call a month later and try to back it up another month . Don't give them your money up front . They will tell you up to 10 business days for your refund they had for months . Of course there is no discount offers , only a who really cares attitude from the store. . Last time ever buying here . Update 2 weeks later waiting for my refund . Still nothing . The office manager couldn't care less .

I purchased a couch in the beginning of January and paid in full. We were quoted that the couch would be delivered to the store for pick up around April or early May. We both knew that did seem like a long time to wait but the couch was exactly what we were looking . It is now May and I called for an estimation of when this will be available so I can get a move on with selling our old couch and they have now told me it would be an additional TWO MONTHS for the other half of my couch to show up. Being my first experience buying new furniture besides a mattress, I will NEVER go or recommend this store. It is ridiculous to have to wait well over 7 months before I can expect something I paid for in January....

This has been far the best experience I have ever had shopping for furniture and a mattress. Personally I despise shopping for a mattress, my salesperson, Darren was very friendly and knowledgeable. In the past I have purchased from Verlo and Sleep number. Never have I experienced the professionalism on this level before. Not only did he take the time to listen to my needs he guided me to a smart purchase. Hands down most amazing customer service experience. Highly recommend anyone in need of a mattress or any furniture for that matter, Ask for Darren you will not be disappointed. Martin from the Kenosha location was extremely helpful. He even moved an ottoman over from the other side of the room so we could see if it would go with the furniture we were choosing!! He definitely went above and beyond. The whole experience was so great that we went back to see him for another purchase and will continue to see him with our future purchases. The delivery team was great as well. Very efficient and kind! Great customer service all the way around!

I am completely shocked that after one year into this pandemic, there are people who still don't realize that masks are effective in stopping the spread. Art from your Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin location is a salesman who was not wearing a mask and was sniffling like he had a cold today (March 7th, 2021 and 12:45pm). My husband and I immediately left but not before we saw a woman working behind the counter also maskless. I'm saddened that you do not require your employees to follow public safety standards. We are looking for 2 bedroom sets and a new livingroom set and we will not be purchasing from Ashley Furniture.
I had a great experience with the sales and delivery teams. Unfortunately, everything that transpired from there was a total disappointment. There was a defect on the chaise of my custom sectional. It took numerous phone calls to finally get a tech service appointment set up to fix it. I spoke with six customer service representatives and had to go through my entire story each time because there were no notes taken in my account and tremendous miscommunication between the customer service representatives, management and the tech service team. Special arrangements were made to be available during the scheduled service window, and my appointment was cancelled while waiting for their arrival. I shared my story with the store manager in hopes to improve how issues are handled and addressed. No one ever responded. I was and am completely dissatisfied with the lack of concern to rectify the situation.
I wanted a recliner that would be right for me and was very fortunate to meet and be helped by Mary Ann at Ashley in Kenosha. After listening to what I wanted she led me right to my new recliner. It is awesome and it was a pleasure to work with her. I’ll be honest and say I did try other recliners but the first one was it. Thanks Mary Ann!!
Update from my ongoing purchasing disaster . (refer to my comments 13 comments ago) Because of space limitations I was not able to add to my pain. When the replacement of my damaged drawers arrived it was discovered that the store had also ordered the wrong base. What a joke. The new base could not come until late April! Remember this has been ongoing since November 2020. All pieces were returned to the store as I had to be talked off a cliff. The full replacement finally arrived earlier than expected, March 3rd. and was finally successfully installed without issue by, in my opinion, the only asset that Ashley has. Luis and Anthony (the delivery and set up crew) showed empathy and concern during my most stressful times of this process. Had it not been for their professionalism and calming demeanor, I would have cancelled the order long ago. A HUGE THANK YOU TO LUIS AND ANTHONY,. They get ***** (5stars!)
Ok, my wife and I went in to the kenosha WI. location and settled on a full living room set. We were quoted $7000. upon check out that went up to $8000? After a little back and forth we got them to come back down. Then we were told it would be 4 weeks until delivery...OK.. a little long but with covid ,and everything going on thing are delayed a bit. We get home filling excited about our purchase and received text stating that the furniture will not be delivered until June. Thats 4 months!!! are you kidding me? I would never have agreed to the pricy purchase if I had to wait 4 months!!! Never again will I spend my hard earned money ant Ashley. Horrible experience!
While they have decent furniture for the price point, it isn’t as high of quality as I would prefer. My biggest complaint of this store is that they have it organized so that there are “display rooms” instead of sections by type of furniture. I didn’t want to wander for two hours to be sure I saw all of their couches displayed. They also have an ungodly amount of sectionals. While staff was wearing masks, there were sales people that were not social distancing.
Worst place to buy furniture. Everything is super expensive and the furniture is very low quality. The sales person will tell you anything just to make a sale and then if something goes wrong they will act like they didn't know. I spend 1300 on a dining room set thinking that it was good quality. Within 3 months the wood on the table started to bubble up. I had got a protection plan on it and the company that they go through are very rude. I regret getting my furniture there. I do not recommend it .

Mary Parker was helpful in assisting me with getting the right mattress for my daughter, she was very knowledgeable and even check up on me after the deliver to see how my experience was. I highly recommend her. She kept in touch with the whole process!! I had no idea on how to pick a mattress, all I knew is my daughter was very uncomfortable with the one she was she had. My daughter loves her new mattress and now is not crawling in bed with me!

Looking for new furniture for our family room. We went to several other furniture shops & didn't find anything that met our desires/needs. Went to the Ashley store in Kenosha and helped by Martin. He showed us several furniture groupings - which we liked. And they would fit the space that we were looking to fill. The store service was great and delivery was fantastic. All the different people we spoke to and dealt with were super. So if you are looking for great furniture selection and super service try the Ashley store in Kenosha off of I-94 and route 50.

From going to the store to the delivery was great!! They didn't push us in the store, they gave us time to pick out what we wanted. They answered our questions. Only problem is the delivery was 2 months out. But they actually delivered 2 weeks later, so it was great! Delivery was nice and easy. They wiped their feet before coming in every time, they made sure my front door wasn't wide open. The setup was easy and fast!! I totally would recommend Ashley's furniture in Kenosha!! Thank you

They were flexible working with us to schedule the delivery when our house is complete (which will take several more months). The store is spacious and well laid out. Overall great experience. This entire fiasco began in mid November. My wife and I went to the store to purchase a king size bed with drawers, while at the store we also decided to get a new dresser as well. The first sales woman was helpful, but after finding what we liked we were told due to COVID-19 we could not get the furniture until January. We checked other stores and decided we would move forward with the Ashley product due to name and quality along with purchasing some other items there before (also problems with that order). This was our first mistake thinking the problem was a one off. We went back to order the merchandise, however the nice sales woman was off and some other sales woman said she could “assist us”. We should have left immediately as she could not figure out how to sign into the computer for over 15 minutes. She was then trying to create a new customer profile for us as she was unable to find our account. She asked for help from an admin person who found us right away. The salesperson entered the order and scheduled a delivery to correspond with our re-carpeting project, this was to happen the following week. We were skeptical due to the first person saying the earliest we could get it was in January. This was our second mistake. After signing the paperwork we went back home believing we could have our furniture before thanksgiving. We received a call from delivery saying all pieces were in and could deliver it earlier if we would like. We said thanks but kept our original date due to the new carpet. We were excited to think we would have new carpeting and bedroom furniture before the holiday. Within a day of this we received a call from the incompetent sales woman saying she failed to order one of the side boards and said we would have to come in to resign the paperwork and pay an additional $500+ to cover the mistake. And to make things worse she said it would be late January when we received our items. WOW! The stupidity ceases to amaze me. When we arrived back to the store I requested to see the Manager. He was very apologetic as he should have been and said he would “try to waive the extra $500”. WOW x 2! He made attempts to find another sideboard but was unable to secure one. We were looking at this January delivery unless he can find another solution. That never happened. Fast forward to January. Up to that point I received NO follow up from the store, so I called and was told the “salesperson would follow up “. I believe she was the problem in the first place and held no confidence that would happen. After some checking the admin person said delivery was set for January 22nd. (I hope I was available). 3 days prior to the projected date we received an email saying it would be delivered between 12 and 4pm. Supposedly 10th delivery of the day. Wouldn’t you think after all we have been through we would have been set up for the 1st delivery. Nope! The truck arrived on the 22nd around 2:45. As 1 driver shuttled pieces in the other was setting it up. Just then the helper told the set up person he had better come out to the truck that there was a problem. The final piece to be brought in (a side rail) was severely damaged! The driver called his supervisor and was told to bring the damaged piece back and advised me the replacement piece would not be available until April. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I called the store and was told this was a delivery problem not Ashley’s. Rewind the tape for a bit. The items were bought and ordered through a big store with the words Ashley Home Store on it. The items were delivered off a truck that also said Ashley Home Store on it. What am I missing??? I drove to the store to talk again with the Manager. All he could do was apologize and hope to find a faster solution than April. By the way there was never a conversation regarding compensation for our time and complete aggravation. After my suggestion of taking a part off a showroom model, the Manager said he would make calls to see if it was possible. To be continued! UGH :(
Horrible experience. The Salesman was nice. Other than that bad business all around. I really don’t want to write everything out. It’s frustrating just thinking about it. If you read some of the other recent one star reviews it’s the exact same scenario. I ended up getting a refund.
What a joke. I would advise anyone not shop at Ashley’s furniture. I paid for warranty on a recliner couch set , when I called about a problem about my recliner they told me my warranty has been sold to another company and no one can find my paper work of warranty & they will be giving me a call back. Well it’s been 2months and no call or email from Ashley. This place is like flea market or buy as is Beware & stay away
My mom and I went here and ordered a leather couch on display in the showroom. We were originally told it would be delivered in mid December 2020(this was 2 months away at the time). They received all but the center portion of the couch in December but couldn't get one piece until January which we said was ok but then back ordered it until March 2021. Six months is crazy even in covid times.
This is our 3rd time buying here. Cindy is always the best at helping my wife and I find the perfect furniture for our home. Thank you

If I could rate Ashley Homestore zero stars I would. What a horrible experience. The saleswoman was nice and helped us and the delivery men were great. Everything else has been a nightmare. We were told our product would be delayed due to COVID which we understood. We ordered in August and our first order arrived to our house in September. They marked off that they delivered a $150 mattress pad--which they didn't deliver. They also told us when we bought the mattress that the warranty would be VOID if we didn't buy their overpriced mattress pad. It took 4 phone calls to finally have one shipped out. Everytime we were given the run around. We were told "it should arrive soon..." and "oh sorry we sent an email to someone but never followed up..." Seriously?! Next nightmare is our bed. We spent over $4000 in furniture there--not the most expensive but certainly not Walmart furniture. They delivered half in September and said the rest would arrive late October. Jump to the October delivery and the delivery man informs me that our bed footboard is damaged from delivery. . The top half was basically ripped off and it looks like cheap plywood underneath so they couldn't put the bed together. Even worse is the delivery supervisor on the phone kept telling them "put it together anyways because we get credit if it's put together.." Then they delivered our dresser but didn't put the feet on and missed the shelf that was supposed to be installed. I had to call the service line and send them photos to get them to offer me a new part and delivery date. Jump to 2 weeks later (we've been sleeping on a mattress on the floor now because we were expecting our bed to be put together...)--the delivery men come and put together the bed which they did a good job with. I open the dresser (that my husband had to install the shelf and correct feet on) and there is a nail sticking through the back--they didn't even nail the back of the dresser on decent. It is also that cheap, wobbly cardboard material. My husband had to adjust one of the dresser drawers that made a horrible scratching sound when open and closed. There is a big chip in the dresser shelf AND the door latch was installed crooked so the door doesn't properly latch closed. I then had to send more photos to their customer care team who said "we'll forward to a tech for review and get back to you..." This is unacceptable. I spent over $4000 to get poorly made products and have no one respond to our concerns. No contact for over 3 weeks so I called them and was told "someone has your case--I'll message her and have her call you but I don't know when..." No call back so I had to call AGAIN. Told today by Megan that "We can't order a new back to the dresser so we are sending it to another team for review to see if they will replace it..." NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP THERE. Beware! Cheap product and even worse customer service from most of their service team. Also left a message for their managers TWICE with no call back. Go to Steinhafels instead!!

The sakes man (Art) was very helpful. He didn’t mind that I sent pictures home and had conversations he gave me space when I needed, He gave me suggestions when asked, showed me comparable items. And put up with me with all my indecisiveness.
Went in to buy a dresser and a sofa set, told the sales lady that I needed the products to delivery as soon as possible. Ended up leaving some of the products that I liked because there was a delayed shipping. She assured us that the products can be delivered within 2 week range, after she ran a credit and everything she makes an excuse that her wifi was down and that they could only delivery 1 product next week and the remaining will have to get delivered in late April of 2021. I would not recommend anyone shopping here as they do not care about the customer's time and falsely the information to get the sales!

We Bought a new bed
RUN RUN RUN Stay away dont purchase anything from them poor service poor quality. When you purchase items they say it will be delivered in 3 to 4 weeks when you get close to the delivery date they push it back another 3 to 4 weeks when I finally received my dinning room set they completely damaged it during delivery and set up over tightening screws forcing them through top of table from the bottom also there is a big chunk of the table missing and of of the chairs had a snapped leg . They brought a new chair a couple weeks later and they said replacement table will be two months. I told them Im done with the whole situation and I want to cancel the order. I have called several times and customer service always says a manager will get back to me but they never due. Is it not illegal to sell furniture that you dont even have in stock and will not for several months. DONT BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY IT SHOULD ONLY TAKE A COUPLE WEEKS FOR YOUR DELIVERY . POOR QUALITY POOR QUALITY
we ordered a chair in early Aug and were told we would have it in early sept. we called when we did not here from them and were told that it would not come till today 10-26 but were not given a time. we waited all morning and called at 2 pm and were told it would come this afternoon. we called back at 6 and were told we are the next delivery. it is now 7 pm and still no chair. when we called there was no excuse they had 16 deliveries and would get to them. had we of known that it would be late in the day we would not of sat in the house all day without even being able to take the dog for a walk. my husband and i both had to stay since he has heart issues and this is a curb side only delivery. i feel the lack of courtesy is unacceptable and will never order from here again.

First of all very affordable and friendly staff compared to Steinhafels(which is next door). We bought a couch on this Ashely Home store last August, they were very accommodating. I would recommend Ms. Jenniree, she was very helpful. She answered most of our questions and got our order done in less then 40 mins(most furniture transaction last for an hour or two which is ridiculous)and well informed. She even personalized the transaction from start to the delivery day, which is awesome, some store will just leave you hanging and they wont even follow up on the transaction after they got your money(except for automated txt they send you). We had a slight problem regarding delivery date(because of the pandemic) but Jenniree was able to get our couch delivered sooner then expect, which is awesome! Second BUY FROM THE PHYSICAL STORE! not the Online store, Its much easier and less hassle with the warranty claims (Online and the store have different protection program the Physical store cant help with the online purchase claims in the other hand when you buy from the physical store they can help you right away with your claims). Third, They priorities Store transactions than the online ones, that mean you'll get your order sooner when you buy from the Ashleys Physical Store. Learn from my mistake I bought a less expensive sofa in their online store and they charge my account multiple times and I have to call them and the bank multiple times just to get rid of the charges. They don't even profile you like other stores do, We were just wearing shorts and flip flops and they approach us like everyone else. Definitely the only store I recommend that you'd buy your furniture.
I’d like to be able to leave a positive review because the associates here are very helpful and informative. However, we’ve made several purchases from here with major issues. First off, we bought a sectional and got the warranty. Thank goodness for that because within a week, the stitching came unraveled on the cushion. We called about the stitching, which is covered under warranty, and we have yet to have it fixed. This was over 3 months ago. We arranged a date with them to come early September (that’s the soonest they could do for us when we called in mid June) on a day my husband was able to take off of work. Then they left us a voicemail late August and switched it to a date in early October. That date was not agreed upon by us. We both work and are not just home any time for them to stop by. We called back as soon as we got the voicemail to tell them that date didn’t work for us, so the next available date they have is the very end of October. Our couch has been unraveling for months with no end in sight seeing as they cannot commit to a date. Secondly, we purchased a coffee table and end table in August. They gave us a pick up date of October 4th. We called on the 5th because we weren’t contacted on the pick up date. The representative said, “Oh it must have missed the truck.” When asked what that meant, she stated that it again, “missed the truck,” and it would probably be put on the next truck. No information. No explanation. We then get a text on the 6th saying it was delayed and won’t be ready until December. Really?! 4 months from the time of order? Over 2 months later than the original pick up date? We call for more information, transferred multiple times just to get a lot of “I don’t know” answers. We canceled the order and will no longer be shopping with Ashley. It’s extremely frustrating when a company doesn’t communicate with you or provide you with any explanation as to why they keep delaying things.

We purchased a king size bed set Feb 2020. It’s being about 6+months and we were sleeping when suddenly we were on the floor. We paid about $4000 for a bed set that was broken within 6 months. I just had a c-section; Explained to them In emails, chat and voicemails that we are sleeping in a broken bed and no one reached to us... until I started this review and submitted one star. By the way, customer service for repair never answered the calls after waiting more than 20 minutes each time I made a phone call. The entire bed set is weak material. Not worth the money. You know what’s sad? This is our very first bed set and we purchased it to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. What a memory we will have... They will not exchange. We’ll see if they replace the broken pieces... I will keep you all posted.

I spent over$15000 here cumulatively in 2 visits, and I am not happy. We made a $10000 order when we moved to our new home, complete with a $1000 5-year warranty payment. Our bed, which is covered in the warranty, broke in 2 years. After months of the run around, we still can't get in contact with anyone in Ashleys or their overseer corporation that will honor our warranty to repair. I spent $5-6000 on a second visit (before the bed broke) to buy recliners. The saccharine sales woman showed us a model that you could put right against the wall and it won't lean back to recline. It is supposed to just slide out. Nope. Everything these people tell you is simply not that way. TL:DR: They don't honor warranty, and the sales people will tell you anything to get you to buy and leave.
Went into Ashleys furniture 6/22 we ordered a living room, dining room and the bed for our home we had our home closing on 7/17/2020 they did let us know ONE of the pieces for our living room would not get here with the rest of the order due to the pandemic . . on 7/20 that they came to deliver or things only dining table 4 chairs and the bed the dining table had multiple chips and it was clearly damaged when we called they said it was normal they also didn’t have our living room in the order which we were told MULTIPLE times we would get with everything else this is the reason we purchased everything the same day we then had to wait until 8/31/2020 to get or couches and even then they were still missing a portion of the couch.. the delivery men bring in thing's without being careful they chipped our wall and don't build the furniture correctly screws for our chairs were hanging off with in the first hour they run in and out they don't care about being careful or the things they deliver it's been 2 months and my furnitureis either missing or defective. We don't feel like its fair when we paid alot of money for these things we feel lied to and as if it was a strategy to convince us to buy everything making us think we would get everything on time. Its a shame we won't do any more business with Ashley's we also let our family and friends know about our terrible experience i hope this helps future customers not to make the same mistake we did.
Our experience was amazing Anita was the associate that assisted us and she was simply fabulous. She was knowledgeable about product. She was respectful of our space while we looked around, yet before we could look for her she’d appear. She was patient as we took our slow time deciding on a selection. The manager was helpful as well. Great experience.
I had bought a table for my small apartment for 4 people. I’ve only had it for 3 years and we only sit on them for dinner really. One of the chairs the base where you sit slides off completely. There’s no way for it happen that it’s our fault. I’ve been hearing Ashley’s furnitures quality is bad. I swear it’s 100% true. Don’t waste you money, your better off buying from ikea store. Let me tell you ikea holds up better and it’s not even as expensive e as Ashley’s. Such a rip off. I paid $500 for this table set for only it to fall apart so soon (less than a year it was looking worse and worse the quality). They won’t take the return before then. Warning others to please don’t buy anything here.

Went in back in May to purchase new bedroom furniture us and our kids as well as TV stands for our new home. Spent around $5,000 and we are STILL waiting on the dressers for our boys. It is August 18th... We were told that some of the plants shut down due to COVID (okay, I get that). Then we were told it was a &"material issue.&" The dressers have been pushed back twice now. I understand the world is reeling from COVID, but this is somewhat ridiculous. Oh, and the delivery windows are ATROCIOUS! They&'ll tell you they&'ll be there after 12:00 (noon), but on our first delivery they didn&'t arrive until almost 6:00pm. Delivery took over an hour and one of the drivers stunk up our bathroom. I guess when you gotta go, you gotta go, but that&'s not very professional in my opinion. So today, we are delivery 14. They are currently on 2. Again, we have things to do tonight and can&'t wait around forever. Sad thing is we&'ve waited forever already, so we really have no choice. I wish Ashley could streamline this a bit better.We were also told we&'d get a $50 gift card for our inconvenience, but that hasn&'t happened. I asked Martin, who was our salesman and he said he had to ask another manager. More run around...The store experience was good. Martin was helpful and directed us in the right direction. Because we purchased so much, I asked if we&'d get some kind of discount, but at the end of the day we didn&'t.The furniture we have received has been great. It&'s beautiful, functional and sturdy. It would just be nice if delivery was a bit better.
We shopped at a few stores looking for a canopy bed that our daughter wanted . We were so excited to have found one at Ashley’s furniture , the only downfall was that no one attended us . We had to ask a young lady for help , thank you for your help . She actually found what we were looking for but she had to go online because this bed was not on the floor. After we did the paper work and 2700 dollars later, we were excited to be getting Emily’s bed and we also purchased a nice frame for ourselves . The young lady came to us with the paperwork and told us the delivery date would be on 10/15/2020 , that will mean we won’t get the bedroom sets for another two months , I think that she should have told us this before the purchase . I have the patience and told her it would be fine , had I never ask for help she would never had the sale. So to those salesperson that judge people for their appearance this was your loss and her gain.

I had a great experience at Ashley in Kenosha. As soon as I entered the store I was asked if I needed help. The sales associate was nice & helped me get the bed I was looking for. My purchase came exactly when promised & even the delivery men were polite & professional. They brought the bed in & set it up without any problems. It’s beautiful! I had a wonderful experience with everyone!

I was pleased that most of the staff were wearing masks. I was disappointed that it was left open for both staff and customers choices as one who believes in caution. The salaman was knowledgeable and went above to help us make a decision. Our order will take 5 weeks so I will repost when it arrives.

Stay Away! I purchased $10,000 worth of furniture. The kitchen table I purchased was scratched from the beginning when they dropped it off and had missing pieces so I was told I had to call warranty to have them come out and fix it. The couch I purchased has been the main issue. Very poor quality on the couch. The couch starts off with little tears in the attached pictures and if not fixed right away gets bigger. I even purchased the 5 year protection plan for $800 and still having issues. Every time I call for the couch to get fixed under the warranty they tell me that it is no longer covered under warranty and find an excuse to not fix the tears on the couch. The protection plan coverage even states must be reported within 30 days and rips, tears or punctures will be covered. I submit pictures and they tell me they can’t come out to fix it because I’m not reporting right away.. when I am reporting the problem right away. The couch now has tears on every seat cushion. It’s embarrassing to even have guest sit on the couch without having blankets on it. I have given up trying to contact Ashley to come out and fix it because they refuse... now I am stuck with a couch full of rips. DO NOT waste your money on the extended coverage because they will find an excuse to not come out and fix your furniture. I even tried to call the store in Kenosha to see if there is anything they can help me with since they told me the protection plan was the best things to purchase and they are so rude and don’t care to help me. I highly recommend staying away from purchasing any furniture from Ashley because they just want your money and sell you the protection plan and don’t help you at all.

The piece they sent was stained in several places and had a rip in the fabric. I have now called on ; separate days sent numerous emails with photos attached. I have yet to get a reply or response. When calling customer care the message tells you if you wait on hold longer than 15 minutes you will be sent to voicemail and a representative will contact you within 3 days!!!! I have called 12 times in the last 8 days and have not heard anything back. Horrible business practices absolutely zero customer service. Shop elsewhere for furniture!!!! You'll get screwed by this place.

Honestly terrible customer service. I have been calling and sending messages via their website since 6/6/20 to inquire about the delivery status of items I ordered in May that should have arrived several weeks ago based on the info in the order confirmation. I have made about 8 attempts now to get in contact with someone. The only response I got was a text message from someone named Lori from Ashley that just says “I show D/S ups on 2/27/20.” I responded asking for clarification on her message and pointing out that I never ordered anything in February. I never got a response.
The sales associate that we worked with was Yvonne. She was extremely helpful. She let us take out time and talk, not a high pressure situation. I would definitely recommend her and Ashley!

I have been trying to contact someone about an order i placed online May 7th. i have made multiple attempts at phone calls, messages, emails, etc. since May 13th with nothing in return. I am getting very frustrated at this point. can someone please reach out? this is ridiculous..
I ordered a couch from Ashley and paid for delivery. When the delivery drivers got to my house, they wanted to leave the new and expensive couch on my porch. There is no way I would have been able to bring it in my house (big sectional). I had to beg and help them bring it in my house. I also asked if they could deliver it through the back sliding door, as to be easier for me to set up my new couch in my living room. They would not. The delivery people said they did not want to, &"mess with it, and were running late.&" So, there I was- sectional stuck in my kitchen, unable to move it to my living room. I called my brother. He came, and we had to take my brand new couch (that is more than one of my mortgage payments) outside, and carry it without any dolly around my condo building. My brother called Ashley to tell them what happened, I emailed Ashley to tell them what happened. No response! This delivery happened over 10 days ago. I am beyond disappointed. I understand the covid issues right now, and was under the impression that my furniture would be placed in the correct room. I felt very disrespected, and like my money or time that I work VERY hard for were not important.
I purchased their top of the line mattress and adjustable base spending about $6,400. My delivery date was scheduled for May 15th while I was paying for everything. Well today is the 15th and half of the day is gone with me waiting for my delivery. I called Ashley Furniture delivery and the girl said that my delivery was cancelled because they never heard from me. She was rude and completely unapologetic. I told her that I never received a call or text from them to begin with. They had my correct cellphone number, but they called the wrong number and still didn’t even bother to call my number so they just canceled my delivery and left me hanging. The delivery girl said the soonest they can try to reschedule is another week later after I’ve already been waiting over a week to begin with. I asked her “because this is Ashley Furniture’s error, cant you make this a priority?” I was promptly told “no”. I then asked to speak to the store manager, because the delivery girl’s manager wasn’t available. She then connects me to the Kenosha store where I talk to a lady and I explain things to. She has the same unapologetic attitude as the delivery girl and said there’s no way I’m getting my delivery without another week going by. At that point I asked for a full refund. I will not support a business that has people employed that are rude, unapologetic, and take no responsibility for their company’s mistakes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!

I ordered 2 end tables from their website and the next day they sent me an email that the same tables went on sale and I could have saved over $100. I was also calling to report a damage to one of the end tables. I tried calling several times and was on hold each time over 30 minutes to be hung up on. I tried their online messaging system and haven't got a response. If you buy something from Ashley, go to their store.
I bought a tempur-proadapt soft queen mattress from Mary P at the kenosha store. She was wonderful in every way. The mattress was not soft enough so I went back into store picked another one out. Had to wait the 30 days. She had put the quote into the system so it was ready to go in 30 days! Thank goodness she did with the craziness that is going on in the country now. I went to pewaukee store filled out paperwork and I will be getting my new mattress April 1st. Kudos to Mary P. In helping me out! If you ever want to purchase anything from kenosha store I recommend Mary P.

Can't find anyone who is helpful at the store - and get the run around that management will call back - they never do. I was told that they don't have a corporate office to complain to, and was given the generic phone number that directs you to a local store. The majority of my household furnishings have come from Ashley HomeStore for nearly 20 years. When we relocated BACK to WISCO last year, our dining room was a priority (thanks to Ashley in Kenosha WI - problem solved!), and now the living room is the priority. I had an idea what I was looking for - but nothing set in stone. I shopped Kenosha Ashley on Wednesday with a friend - and of course, there was a salesman at the door ready, willing and more than able to join us on our shopping adventure. He offered assistance, and when I told him I was just looking at ideas, he explained the current promotion and appeared ready to assist us. I thanked him and politely (as politely as someone can) requested that he &"please do not chase us through the store&". He was taken aback a little - but honored my request. After an hour of shopping, &"sleeping on it&" and making a to-scale drawing of the limited space available for the sectional I desired - my mother and I returned to finalize the decision. The young man who had honored my request the previous day turned out to be Martin Downer who recognized me and stopped to say hi on my return. I have to say that he is the most knowledgeable sales person I have worked with! I also work commission sales, so I understand. His patience and skill is second to none. He ended up taking apart sectionals (more than once), measuring and remeasuring to assure that the furniture I wanted would actually FIT in the space I have. My mother was interested in a new mattress as well ... Martin&'s knowledge was again impressive - he not only is well versed in furnishings, but has learned the attributes of each and every mattress in the store - not just &"canned&" or &"by the book&" answers but true knowledge of the sometimes subtle differences in mattresses. Needles to say, Martin made TWO sales yesterday and he has 2 new loyal customers. THANK YOU Martin for taking the time to truly understand our needs and pairi those needs with products that will fantastically fit our lifestyle!!Donna

UPDATE: Ashley Corporate reached out to me to tell me that apparently Ashley in Kenosha isn’t owned by Ashley HomeStore but instead by Boston, Inc. (which operates under BostonFAM or Furniture & ApplianceMart according to Google) so there’s absolutely nothing they can do but they did give me a different phone number to call so we’ve just been passed off, yet again. ORIGINAL POST: I’ve never had a worse buying experience before. We just bought a new house so we’re starting to buy furniture to replace our old stuff a few rooms at a time. My husband & I went to several furniture stores before ending up at Ashley where we purchased a couch/loveseat set for the basement and a kitchen table. Our experience there went well but then the delivery started our frustration. The reason we were sold the particular couch/loveseat that we were was that it came apart into multiple pieces so getting around a tight basement corner wouldn’t be an issue. However, the delivery team arrived on 2/1 with the furniture completely assembled and tried getting it into the basement that way. They succeeded - but my walls didn’t. There’s scratches, holes, and gouges the entire way down to the basement that the delivery team apologized for and said I’d hear from someone within the hour. It was frustrating considering the furniture was meant to come apart but maybe there was a miscommunication and things happen so I waited patiently for a call. After 2 hours I called the Kenosha store and was told the damage team wasn’t in “right now” but that I’d hear from someone “shortly.” Again, didn’t hear from anyone but it was a Saturday so I let it go and figured I’d hear on Monday. Monday evening there was still nothing so I called again and was told that the damages team isn’t in on weekends but I’d hear from someone within 24-48 hours. I emailed my sales rep on Tuesday (though she is off on Tuesday/Wednesday but figured I’d hear from her Thursday) about my frustration with being told 3 different things regarding all the damage to my new home. Wednesday late afternoon and STILL nothing so I called yet again. I was told it usually takes 24-48 hours before I would hear from the damages team when he realized that it had been more than that so he told me he’d reach out to the damages team quickly before they left for the day and I’d get a call shortly. I got a call a little while later and had to explain what happened and was told to email pictures and write in the email what happened so I did so and copied our sales rep so she was aware that I finally heard from someone. The damages team forwarded my email to their insurance company, Acuity, and they’ve been easy to work with and very responsive. I assumed I’d hear from our sales rep Thursday or Friday regarding the miscommunications & frustrations but received nothing. I emailed her again Friday afternoon stating that I was frustrated with the lack of communication and mentioned at this point that maybe a return would be best and asked what the next steps would be. She emailed me back the next day and apologized for the damage and said she forwarded my email to her manager as well but no mention regarding the next steps for a return. We hear nothing the following week until my husband calls on 2/12 where he was bounced from department to department before being told a manager would reach out to him or me. We never spoke to a manager and next thing you know, a return pickup was generated for 2/22. We never spoke to anyone nor set a date for a pickup and we were still expecting to hear from a manager. I spoke to someone today who said they were a manager but it wasn’t either of the names my husband had been given for managers and I explained, again, my frustrations and was basically just told “sorry for the miscommunication but our damages department isn’t open on weekends” repeatedly which I understand but it doesn’t make up for all of the phone calls, emails, incorrect information, time spent getting quotes for the damage, and time I’ve wasted trying to reach a resolution. Accidents happen - although it was an avoidable accident had they just taken the time to disassemble the furniture like they were supposed to. The damage was frustrating but not the end of the world. The reason I wouldn’t recommend Ashley? The lack of communication and care for their customers.

Went in for a recliner. Young lady tried to upsell a sectional. I get that it's her job, but I was clear that all I wanted and needed was a recliner. They would have to order and not receive for 2 to 3 weeks. She then walked away when we started looking at clearance items.
We purchased a set of furniture for our living room, a sofa, accent chair, bookcase, and coffee table. The quality of the furniture is fine. The bookcase was a bit unstable, but they don’t have bookcases in the store so we only saw it online prior to purchasing. My husband attached it to the wall and now it’s fine. My issue is with the delivery. At the store I wasn’t really given an option not to pay for delivery but I wish I made more of a stink about not paying for it. In the morning you get an update with an estimated time, ours was 3-3:30. I have a one year who naps in the afternoon, so I figured that was perfect as he’d be waking up around that time anyway. They ended up showing up around 2, about an hour after he fell asleep. Definitely not the best timing but out of the delivery drivers control so no biggie. We’ll just try to be quiet. I told them numerous times my toddler was sleeping on the other side of the wall and they made no effort to keep it down at all. They used an impact driver to assemble the furniture so it was very loud and complete overkill for the task at hand. They were talking to each other at full volume, stomping around, and dropping tools and parts. Some how my little guy managed to sleep through it for a bit, but he was pretty grumpy to be woken up by that level of noise. They finally finished just before 3 and left my house a total disaster. The furniture was left right where it was assembled, haphazardly placed around the room and my house was a complete mess but I was happy to see them go. There was garbage and tiny pieces of styrofoam everywhere, all over the floor and rug. We had another chair in the living room already and it seemed they had just tossed packaging on it as they were working because it had styrofoam and plastic all over it. I was worried my toddler or our small dog might eat something or get styrofoam in their mouths, so I had no choice but to but them both in the toddlers bedroom while I vacuumed the whole room and moved the furniture around. If we ever go back to Ashley, I’ll never pay for delivery again! The delivery workers are careless and messy. They had no respect for my home or the nap situation we unfortunately found ourselves in. Thanks for coming almost two hours early, but I wish they hadn’t come at all!
This has been the worst buying experience I have ever had. We purchased a complete bedroom set on 1/12/20 at the Kenosha store. It was obvious from the beginning that the sales woman was not the most experienced. We bought it that same day and had a delivery date of 1/17/20. The sales woman clarified with the manager on that day how to order the correct pieces. Delivery on 1/17/20 was awful. The delivery guys unpackaged the furniture in the driveway leaving packaging material all over my front yard. They scratched my hard wood floors by dragging the dressers across the floor. My bedroom was left with garbage and styrofoam all over the place. The rails to fasten the headboard and footboard together were the wrong ones. So they delivered two dressers, two nightstands, a headboard, and a footboard and left my house a mess. They had no idea when the new rails would be delivered. Got a call from the saleswoman at the store that same day stating she corrected the order and the new rails would be delivered 1/31/20. In the meantime we have no bed and are sleeping on a mattress on the floor. We also have to find somewhere to store the headboard and footboard. I contacted the customer care line regarding the poor delivery and the scratched floor and was forwarded onto their insurance company. After waiting 2 weeks I received a call on the morning of 1/31/20 stating that no deliveries were occurring because the truck was accidentally loaded with garbage instead of furniture. They placed the next delivery day as 2/5/20. I contacted the customer care line to change the date as I could not be home that day and waited on hold for 30 minutes at which point I was offered the option of leaving a voicemail. I left a voicemail requesting a new delivery day and my phone number. I then called the Ashley store and spoke to a manager who confirmed my delivery day as Friday 2/7/20. On 2/2/20 I get an email stating I need to confirm my 2/5/20 delivery date. I contacted customer care again today and waited on hold for 40 minutes before being told that the next available delivery date on a Friday was 2/14/20. I was told the woman would look into it and call me back. Four hours later and no return call. Several mistakes were made in this process and Ashley furniture has made a small monetary refund to accommodate the trouble they have caused but have not been willing to make any other accommodations to deliver the products we paid for.
This place is horrible. The furniture is junk. No one answers the phone or returns calls. It takes several months to get a service scheduled. Do yourself a favor and don’t even step foot inside this furniture store!!

Recently visited this store to shop for a new couch set. Was greeted immediately by Art. He was very polite, helpful, and considerate. He gave us some options and let us look around freely while checking back in at a comfortable pace. I visited another furniture store where the salesperson followed us around and didn’t let us shop freely making us want to leave quick. Art’s customer service certainly made for a pleasant shopping experience. We are very happy with our purchase and will certainly be back in the future!

I was in need of a king size bed but had a budget because i did NOT want to spend upwards of $2,000 on a new bed frame and mattress especially with Christmas in the upcoming days. I went in and got Darren as my salesmen and he was absolutely wonderful. He didn&'t pressure me at all, helped me find what mattress worked for me in my price range and ensured i walked out of there with something i loved. There was a lady in the front with a bad attitude and didn&'t look like she wanted the job - quit if you don&'t hate it so much. It&'s not my fault or Darrens that you work there. Sorry but it was very unprofessional. Can&'t stand angry people. Anyway, long story short - you need ANYTHING. Ask for Darren, he won&'t BS you.

This is the second time I drove from Chicago to Kenosha to shop at this Ashley store. I absolutely LOVE my salesperson, Yvonne and the delivery men were phenomenal. Such a great experience and a great variety of furniture to choose from. So much better than Chicago. Thank you Yvonne and thank you Ashley delivery for the great service. We came into the store in search of a new bed. We really wanted to be alone and not constantly followed by a sales rep. We came in on 2 separate occasions and were followed everywhere. My wife and I felt uncomfortable and pressured both times we went in to lay on some beds. The sales people were nice, but should have taken the hint that we didn't want to talk and when we said we would be there a while, they continued to sit on the bed next to us. We ended up purchasing a completely different bed due to the atmosphere there, but our intensions were to buy a Tempurpedic.
Our first set of furniture lasted us almost 12 years. We live with our furniture, we take in senior dogs so our last set put up with six dogs over those years. The staff here is wonderful to work with and their delivery staff are courteous.

I am very disappointed with Ashley Furniture. Had I known that it was going to take 6 weeks to get a recliner shipped to me, I would have taken my money elsewhere. I decided not to complain and rather to be patient....now, 7 weeks later delivery is schedule for 'pm'.....as in sometime after 12 noon? No window...what a joke. So now I have to take vacation time and sit for 8 hours or more and wait? NEVER AGAIN.

Sales representative was very nice, we paid cash for a very expensive sectional and set up a delivery date that was about 4 weeks out from the day we purchased the furniture One week out from delivery we was called and informed that the middle piece of the sectional (armless love seat) could not be delivered with the rest of the sectional due to it being on back order so now we have to wait almost another four weeks for the middle of our sectional to be delivered. We assumed when we purchased the furniture that the store would at least know if they had it all in stock or not. We also purchased the 5 year accidental coverage, and was told we would receive a care kit, well we got the kit but the kit is for leather furniture, and wood polish which is no good to me because the furniture we bought is a fabric not leather and there is no wood to polish on it. Very poor customer service when it comes providing good correct information, very misleading I’m displeased with Ashley Furniture - when a customer purchases expensive furniture and the store doesn’t even know it’s inventory and tells you will receive a care kit and it’s not even for the type of furniture you purchased is not good representation of the store I personally will never buy from Ashley Furniture in Kenosha Wisconsin again. Two week delivery time on furniture (which is already pretty ridiculous), only to have delivery cancelled on day of delivery after receiving a message saying it would be delivered within the hour. Took out all of the existing furniture and two hours later, get a cancellation call. Then they wanted to reschedule for 10 days later! Apparently they don't have enough trucks or drivers to keep up with deliveries and won't deliver on Sundays to fix their own mistakes or meet customer expectations. Completely unwilling to help expedite delivery, even though it's their fault they couldn't meet their promised delivery date. Expect the customer to inconvenience themselves by taking off work on a weekday to meet their delivery schedule, which they are unwilling to adjust. Kenosha store was no help either, and told me if I wasn't willing to wait on their schedule or be present at their leisure, I could simply cancel the order. Now I have to take vacation time, at my expense, to accommodate them, just to get my furniture! Not even an offer to refund the delivery fee. Horrible customer service and treatment. Apparently, they don't need your business, so do yourself a big favor and shop somewhere else.

The absolute WORST experience with buying furniture. The day our bed set and mattress was supposed to be delivered they failed to call us and let us know their delivery truck had broken down and we wouldn’t be getting it delivered. We had to call them and ask where our delivery was. After taking off work, just to sit around the house, losing money. Not to mention they failed to call all day after knowing that truck had problems all day, they wouldn’t be able to deliver until a week later. The worst customer service, terrible communication skills. No confirmation text about when we would be getting our delivery in two days. Never buying anything from this company, I recommend you don’t either.
Martin greeted me when I came in the store, answered questions I had, and then allowed me to walk around alone. He found me later, answered more questions, provided his professional opinion, and even printed up quotes so I could compare prices. He was kind, funny and professional. He made spending a lot of money less painful. ;)

while arrangements were made to allow me to purchase a custom made and expensive couch, the customer service surrounding the financial aspects were poor - errors, redos, lengthy process, and residual issues I now have to resolve.
We ordered a simple side table, when they processed the payment they said it would be a month. Okay, but annoyed. Couldn't track it. A month later they called to say it would be another month, offered their apologies and nothing more. We waited another month, they said it was in. Went to get it, the small door on the front would not close. Kudos to the man there,he tried hard to fix the hardware, but it would not work. Took it any way to avoid waiting 2 more months. Never again.
Martin was highly knowledgeable about everything!! That man deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond to help my husband and I get the proper fit and style of bed to suit my disabled needs comfortably without interrupting my husbands sleep! He made us feel as if we where the only customers he had for hours. His staff seem to love him! He should be allowed to wear roller blades to fly around that huge store!!
We had a great shopping experience at Ashley's! Our sales rep was helpful but not "pushy". She answered all of our questions and made us feel really great about our purchase. As for the couches we purchased, the deal we got was awesome and the quality is great. We've had the couches a week now and they are so comfy and well built. The delivery men were courteous and professional. All around a great experience!

After weeks of looking at various styles of furniture, we ended up at Ashley&'s Furniture in Kenosha. Our sales person Cindy was patient and helpful with my husband and I as we looked around the showroom. We found a set we agreed on and then found i found it at a lower price elsewhere so I called Cindy and we talked about it-she then said she would talk to her manager to see if they could lower the price and and she would call me back. Within minutes I got a return phone call and we came to an agreement on the lower pricing. We ordered our furniture yesterday and it will be in our family room on 11/5/19. I wanted my furniture before Thanksgiving and Cindy made my request happen.
Bought my couches from ashleys and they were very nice sales people here! They didnt push me, but I did check out my options and I told them my budget and they respected it. I would definitely come back and buy more furniture here in the future.

Ashley Furniture in Kenosha has a fabulous employee named Marjorie. A no pressure salesperson and extremely thoughtful and professional. My furniture buying experience with Marjorie was superb!
I bought a full bedroom and living room set. couch, coffee table, 2 end tables, tv stand/fireplace, bed, dresser x2, 2 night stands, and rug. The rug came a month after it was supposed too, the handles to the dresser where not threaded so I needed to order new ones. the coffee table didn&'t have feet on them. when they sent them it took 3 tries to get the correct feet. the couch had a broken arm. It has been nothing but issues and terrible customer service.
Our salesperson was very pleasant and professional. Everything was explained in detail and the paperwork process was easily understood. I would go there again!😃

We were looking for a mattress set. Spent 45 minutes with Manager Martin. I asked specific questions about delivery and removal. Martin quoted $20. 00. When he wrote up the quote he charged $120. 00. When I told him it was wrong he denied the original quote. Walked out. He lost a cash sale. Be careful gold !!!
Purchased in full a bedroom set in May. Was advised by our saleswoman that our furniture would be ready within 2 weeks to be delivered to our residence. A week later we receive a call from our saleswoman and were advised our furniture would not be available for delivery for 1 month after our purchase date. So we eagerly awaited a month later to have a partial delivery of our furniture. The delivery fulfillment service with Ashley stated they did not have all our items and would deliver everything in another month. So, another month rolls around and the delivery fulfillment service comes with a headboard and states we do not have a footboard. I call the delivery fulfillment service number provided and was advised that it would be another month to order and deliver the additional items to complete our furniture and set up. I contact and speak with Ashley furniture in Kenosha and they say it is out of their hands, that the delivery fulfillment center is responsible for completing the agreement of delivery. So as of August 14th, 3 months later we finally get all our furniture delivered. Upon advising the delivery men that setup our bed, the amount of time it took to complete the delivery and set up from the purchase date, one of them stated "well it came all the way from Taiwan." (Businesses deal with international partners daily and that is no excuse). I am simply giving an entire breakdown of this to tell anyone that may deal with this type of business interaction after a purchase to go to competitors that are willing to do better. This is unlike any other ethical business I have ever dealt with. The lack of candor and integrity in being able to own their mistakes and missteps until after being complained upon showed me that no one should have to deal with this level of unprofessionalism. And after reading several comments here, I know I am not the only one that has had to endure such events. Buy from businesses that own their mistakes and honor their practices accordingly.
Poor customer service and communication. The manager Joe was focused on his vacation and couldn't care less. He failed to keep his promise. Won't be recommending or returning EVER.

How awful is your customer service that you “tried to call us” but we got no VM or call or email stating you weren’t going to deliver our couches. 3 weeks ago we ordered them. Now because of your awful service and changing it on us, we have to wait 3 more weeks. I am glad we knew to wait to get rid of the current couch. Because three weeks without one would have been a long time. I will never use your company again after this. And this was my first time using it.

I shopped at Ashley Furniture figuring that a large company would have good service. I was dead wrong. I went to Ashley Furniture in Kenosha WI early June 2019. After a few hours of searching, my wife and I settled on a couch, loveseat, and rug. We were told all 3 would be delivered July 7th. As expected, I received a confirmation for delivery a few days before and was all ready for our new furniture. The day before we got rid of our current couch to make some room for the new ones. The day comes for delivery and it shows we are stop number 7 on the route and that delivery should arrive around or before noon. Noon rolls around and I refresh the tracking to see that we are now stop 9 for some reason and delivery won’t be until 2. So now its 2 and I haven’t heard anything. I go to check again and now the time says 5-6 PM. By this point I’m slightly annoyed but it’s understandable. 4 PM comes and I go to look….now it’s 6-7PM. Ok, cool as long as I get my furniture. Shortly after 5 I receive a. call letting my know that my couch and loveseat will not be arriving today because they don’t have time to finish deliveries. I ask when they will arrive and am told “The next available delivery day”. So, I ask if they deliver the next day and they say yes but those delivery slots are full. She’s going to talk to her boss about getting it the next day and call me back. It’s now that I realize my rug was never mentioned. I ask about it and she says “It’s been ready for pickup since the 12th”. Strange, since it was for delivery. Figured I would ask when I got my call back, which I never got. I let my wife know and she goes to pick up the rug while I’m at work. She calls me afterwards and tells me the guy told her “It ends up they’re not making these anymore so were giving you the floor model.” We both agreed that we paid for a new rug that was supposed to be delivered and not a used floor model for pickup. She goes back and after 20 minutes she gets told “He must have been mistaken, we have never been allowed to sell floor models and this was just shipped in”…..Ok then, so why was my wife told that? Somethings not adding up. So now I’ve never received a callback and the 11th comes around. I receive another text to confirm my delivery tomorrow for the 12th that I never agreed to. I confirm the delivery and receive a call about an hour later. “Hello, this is the Ashley Furniture Homestore. I just wanted to let you know that the couch you ordered has damage to the right leg. We know you’ve been waiting and will still be sending this couch to you tomorrow. You’ll receive a call after to schedule a repair to come out”. I hesitantly agree, not like I have a choice right? So yesterday the 12th is finally here. I get a call from delivery letting me know they’ve arrived and are downstairs. I go down to let them in and am asked to sign the shipping documents…..which only show a loveseat. I ask where my couch is and they say “It shows on the documents here that it’s rescheduled for delivery, but theres no date entered yet.” It’s not the delivery guys fault so they notate what I told them about being told it will still come and they tell me a supervisor will be calling me shortly……well guess what? It’s the 13th and I still have yet to receive a call, or know where the hell my couch is. After over a month of waiting, sitting on the floor for a week after waiting all day for a delivery that never came, receiving what I’m pretty sure is a floor model carpet, and still no couch, I will never be shopping at Ashley Furniture again and recommend against it to others. Oh, have I mentioned I’ve left numerous voicemails for the managers who never called me back? I spent nearly $2000 at your store and this is how you treat customers? Maybe this will get your attention and I can actually get a call back before I return everything. P.S.- My loveseat came messed up too. Thanks!

Horrible customer service and delivery. We ordered our furniture on May 11th. While our furniture was delivered they left the furniture in the rain, put a hole in our ceiling, couldn't assemble the dining table without my boyfriend and brother-in-laws assistance, and there was a broken part for our king bed. We were compensated for the ceiling and a new part was ordered for the bed. However they ordered the wrong part for the bed and we had to wait a month for it before finding out it was the wrong piece. Now they tell me were going to have to wait another two weeks for a new piece. It'll be 2 and half months before getting our bed whole. I've called and requested to speak to a manager multiple times and have yet to have someone call me. Horrendous customer service.

As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted and asked if there was anything in particular we were looking for. We told Cindy what we were in the market for and she took us around the store showing us all the options. We didn't wander aimless wondering if we were missing some items, if we could order in different materials or colors, etc. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with us. We aren't sure if we will be purchasing from Ashley yet, but the customer service alone was amazing to us.
I had a wonderful experience at this location. Darren was very very helpful with my purchase of a lovely queen size bed. He took his time to show me different styles of mattresses and even educated me on the importance of a mattress protector. I had mistakenly overlooked one of the items on my receipt, but after speaking with Darren, he quickly informed me that all of my purchases were accurate and even double checked the prices just to make sure I received a great deal! He was patient even through my little moments and his reassurance made me feel comfortable with my very first furniture purchase. I highly recommend anyone who is in a search of new furniture to go see Darren at Ashley’s. He’s an OUTSTANDING salesman who provides a positive experience from the minute you walk in the door. My husband and I went in for 2 stools and walked out with a couch set and the stools! Lol...their prices cant be beat for the quality. Rena helped us and was NEVER pushy, she gave us space to look around and was very knowledgeable with the products. Id highly recommend Ashely Furniture in Kenosha and find Kena. You'll be happy you did!
Very poor communication. I was notified two weeks prior to my scheduled order pick up date that the order was ready for pick up. I called and they said the notification was a mistake. I called a week later, one week before the scheduled pick up, just to confirm my order was going to be on time. The associate told me my order was received and would be ready for pickup. I go to Ashley to pick up the item (50 minute round trip) to find out the order was not in stock and the two associates helping me could not find any record for when it was supposed to arrive. They informed me a manager would get back to me the next day. Two days passed with no contact from anyone at Ashley about my order. I contacted them them the next day asking why I haven't heard anything. The assistant manager looked into the situation and said he didn't see any record of any other employees working with me in the past and followed up by saying there are supposed to be notes taken when there are customer issues. He put me on hold multiple times for about 30 minutes total and came back and said he would look I to the situation and let me know when the order would be in and what compensation there would be for my time being wasted. He continued by stating he would not be in the next two days so if I wanted to I could contact him about the item I could. On the second day of not hearing anything I emailed the assistant manager asking him for a status update. I received no response until the next day when I had to call again to see what was going on with my order. Finally, after being put on hold for another 10 minutes, the assistant manager told me the order was in and they would credit me with $10 for compensation of my wasted time. Glad the manager of Ashley views the time I wasted driving and being put on hold was only worth $10. Odds are, I won't be going back to this place again.
Worst experience of my life. While I LOVED the furniture that I actually got, the service, disorganization, mishaps were unbelievable. I had ordered a sofa/loveseat which was to take 4-6 weeks, and be delivered June 11. The day BEFORE at 4:30 in the afternoon I received a call stating that they could not deliver as it was "unavailable," To make a long story short, with the rudeness of the customer service, the dismissive attitude as, sorry, it's out of my control and much haggling, I got a refund as I needed this sleeper for a specific reason. The next day the delivery people showed up at my door with the sleeper. After calling the store, which they were perplexed as it showed there were none available, I had to decline as I had gone out that very day and purchased another sofa/sleeper which was to be delivered later that day. This wasn't the only unpleasant encounter with them, rude service people, delay in getting the refund, and uncaring attitude made this the WORST shopping experience of my life - and believe me I shop a lot. Even after I asked for a manager to lodge a complaint, they gave me an email address. After detailing my experience and sending it, it was returned as "undeliverable. " I didn't even bother to call the store, they obviously do not care for customer satisfaction and the best I could do was relay my story here. While the furniture is nice, getting the furniture and dealing with the service people, customer service and so-called managers was not. There are plenty of furniture stores out there to get what you want, and obviously they are willing to push people to them.
For who ever is thinking of purchasing from this store, I would strongly urge you to go anywhere else but here!!! If I could I wouldn't even mark a star on the review! I purchased a sectional from here in November 2018, the piece they delivered was completely off from manufacturing, the corners weren't even close, along with scuffs and torn stitching! They have done nothing to help with replacing the couch after have 3 different service techs out to look at it, still not replaced! They say they will fix it in home meaning now this will be the 4th Time I have to miss work so they can waste more of my time after a purchased a brand new couch not a "fixed" couch! I will never purchase from this store again, and I cannot emphasize enough to purchase else where! It sad they dont stand behind a quality product!
Never purchase from here ever!!!! They are so sweet when taking your order and your money but try to get things delivered correctly is horrible. Not only do they not deliver all the parts but when you call the store to get it fixed they say oh yes we’ll take care of it but they NEVER do. It took me 30 days to finally get a store manager to get me the part I paid for. No one in the Kenosha store would call back, NO ONE ordered the part when we were told 3 different times it was ordered. Then it finally got ordered and wee were told they would install it....HA HA they just dumped it on us and left. Now they are giving our daughter the run around. Bought bedroom set a few months ago to deliver when they got their new place....NOPE said they never set a delivery date. Now they will have no bed. NEVER NEVER if my life depended on it would I Shop Ashley again.
My furniture was scheduled for delivery today.. got my phone call to confirm... confirmed email and text just to be sure... tracked the truck so excited it was on time.. truck arrives ... guys were so sweet... looking at their papers and come in the house to say sorry ma’am your furniture is no on the truck!! WHAT!! You send delivery guys and don’t load my furniture??? And then when I call to get answers I get oh your table is delayed so we changed your delivery date to next week!! Hmmm hello!! Don’t you think you should tell your customers and your delivery guys!! They looked as dumbfounded as I was!! So wasting a day off today I have to do it again next week and no compensation for clearly an error on your part!! And when I asked to speak to a manager I get the response they are in all meetings!! Well evidently not a meeting on customer service!!
We've shopped Ashley Furniture about 4 years ago. We are very hard on furniture and I was very impressed with how this furniture has stood up to our family's use. We recently returned to Ashley and ordered bedroom and dining furniture and worked with Darren. He was an incredible sales associate, he was very patient with our indecisiveness and I did not feel any pressure whatsoever. He steered us in the right direction on mattresses showing us many options and their benefits. I highly recommend asking for Darren if you come in to look for furniture. He is incredibly knowledgeable, knows how everything is manufactured and all the "behind the scenes" information. Thank you, Darren, for making our shopping experience so seamless and fun. You are outstanding.
Worst sales person I&'ve had to do business with in a long time. They are simply disorganized, incapable of addressing costumer&'s requests and more importantly, their delivery department is a coordination nightmare. No wonder their furnitures is cheaper than the local competing furniture stores: they have no costumer management skills at any level of the company. Not worth the trouble.

Typically I don't leave bad reviews for having bad service, but this time is different. We called customer service in Jan 2021 to have a cushion replaced. It is now March 2022 and we don't have it. We called probably 7 months ago, and they said that the replacement was never ordered. They then placed the order and we received the cover for the cushion. Still no cushion! Customer service is not being helpful either. Will never purchase from here again!

ordered a matress almost a month ago now. At first everything was ok delivery date was scheduled a couple weeks from purchase date no big deal or so i thought. A couple days before delivery date they contacted me to confirm the window of the day as per the sales person said they would. I confirmed the date and time no big deal but not even a full day after that i get a call saying they need to reschedule the date. I say ok no problem reschedule for the following weekend. Then the same thing happens again 2 days before the 2nd reschedule date. I told the person that called i needed to talk with my girlfriend what we want to do and give them a call back and if the number he called off of would go directly to him, well it doesnt just to a automated system thats not even for my stores area. they blame the matress manufacturers for the delay but keep sending me confirmation emails to confirm and yet they keep calling to reschedule my date because they say they dont have it yet. i recently called the store i purchased the matress from as well to talk with a manager and only got a voice mail. very upset about this whole experience and would not recommend the company as a whole for anything.

Im giving this 5 starts because of all the issues we had between a failed delivery, damaged walls during, reselecting, out of stock, buy out / migration issues.... And the list goes on... But at the end the sales people were awesome 👍 the manager was as helpfull as they could be and they came through for family!
Worst furniture ever! This sofa is 6 years old and they will do nothing about the shredding of the material!
I will NEVER shop here again. We went in for a sectional and found one we really liked and immediately had a problem after waiting over and hours to even start the order. First- they had 2 of the 3 pieces available and refused to do 2 different deliveries as we where ok with them being separated deliveries. Second- I have officially been given 3 or more different delivery days the first was March 28th it was over 4 weeks but we where fine with that whatever. Second day was put to April 6th whatever now frustrated.Third- They called and said they had to move it back AGAIN to April 14th... nope done with the run around and freaked out told them if it wasn&'t delivered on or before the original date I would cancel my order and demand a refund on everything!! They told me they would call me back and they actually did and told me they could do April 2-6th... well what happened to that option before you told me the 14th well my guess is that you have to spends thousands of dollars in order to get the service you pay for. I paid for the ridiculous delivery fee and for the sectional in cash and the sales person got his commission but me over a month later I still have nothing to show for the money I spent.

Do not be fooled this Ashley store can not be trusted. Return policy? Pretty much, there isn't one. Once it is in your home you have to keep it. I bought a bed and when it got to our house it wasn't in the color we ordered. It wasn't bad and it worked with the room so I was willing to let that go. Shortly after our new bed was assembled, like 10 minutes later, the mattress seemed to dip in the middle. I got down on my bedroom floor to take peek and noticed the brace feet that were screwed it to the planks, ripped out and were laying on the floor. I am glad that I noticed it right away and not have the bed collapse on me at 3am instead. I have now idea how it could have happened, other than it was a cheaply made bed. I called to have it removed from my house as soon as possible, but because I had signed my receipt there was nothing they would do. They would send out a tech to fix it, but it only took 10 minutes for it to brake. Is he going to come back an hour later to make sure it hasn't happened again? Once you have signed for it you are stuck with it. I told the manager that the website said we can return it within 30 days. She said that isn't their website and it is store policy that once you sign for it, it can not be returned. This was not worth the trouble and I will not be buying from this store again.

After searching for a dresser for months we finally found one we loved. The salesman asked if we needed it assembled or if we were going to assemble it. We told him promptly that we’d do it on our own. Perfect. Go to pay for it and he tells us “well you have to get it delivered and assembled for a $70 fee”. Ha! We say hell no. He said that’s the only way. Otherwise you can drive 2 hours to the warehouse to get it. Are you kidding me? Okay. So he calls the manager over. Manager whispered to him and walked away. Didn’t even make eye contact with my husband or myself. Yup. Wouldn’t work with us. No ship to store to pick up. No ship to house. N O T H I N G. I think their policy is extremely outdated & the manager was absolutely unprofessional pretending as if we weren’t standing there. #excusemewhileicryovermissingoutonmydreamdresser
Liked that the sales people let you look around without hovering over us. I would give 5 stars but when we were ready to make our purchase we had to hunt someone down. All in all, very happy with the shopping experience once we got going.

I visited twice. There was much to say: During the first visit I had my wife and kids but was not listened to when I said I needed to go. The salesmen was more concerned about the sale than the interaction. The saving graces are the products. The products are phenomenal. The second reason for a lower score was due to the prices. The signs were not clear about what the cost of the sectional actually was priced at. The sign had a lower price on the front while the real price was almost $1000 more on the back. When we visited the second time we found out the price we thought it was, was actually the discounted price which was still high. It seemed it was a good deal with the discounted price we thought was the original price but the actual price with the discount then with taxes and delivery charges was almost the same price as the original price. The furniture may be great but it seemed like a bait and switch. It was disheartening and frustrating.
We have come to Ashley Furniture on multiple occasions and have had great service. They take their time and are very patient with us and our children too! Our rep today (Jenniree) was having a lot of fun entertaining our energetic kids today while we tried multiple mattresses. She was also able to answer all of our questions. There was some confusion in discounts and even though there was a miscommunication, they made it right with offering other discounts where they could.

Came here for their President sale and The Store Manager Serena was more than welcoming and immediately assigned me Susan as my sales person who couldnt be more helpful!!!! Got a great deal on a sectional and I couldnt be happier.
Ah yes, the old &"If I could give it zero stars, I would&" review.My wife found a sleeper sectional on the website not on the showfloor, so we called to purchase it (since the website does not allow you to order it online). Of course, they refuse to take an order over the phone AND refuse to tell you what you&'d be paying until you come into the store. Linda was there to make the sale and quoted me a whopping $250 more than the list price on the website. After a bit of convincing, she finally agreed to match the online price (no brainer, right?) and ring me up. That wasn&'t the end of the charges, though, because she added a $140 delivery fee (for a delivery that wouldn&'t end up taking place for 4 full weeks) as well as a mandatory $100 protection plan (which I was able to get her to take off after I threatened to walk).Fast-forward 4 weeks to the delivery, and the guys from the warehouse show up with the sofa. As they&'re unboxing it I started asking questions about the sleeper mechanism. Turns out they brought the non-sleeper variant, as that&'s what Linda rang up. Looks like she was able to sneak her way into that bigger commission after all. I refused the delivery, but they decided to just leave the sofa in my living room anyway. I called the store as soon as they opened, and over the course of the day Linda refused to return calls, placed me on hold for over an hour, and ultimately decided the best solution was to charge me an additional $500 for a different sleeper.Not acceptable.I told her to issue a refund and that we simply would not be doing business with her. Once again, this could not be completed, and I would have to take an hour&'s round trip to the store where I was met by the manager Serena (the disinterested looking woman at the computers who acts like every request is a major burden). She refused to take responsibility for the mixup and even tried blaming us for trusting Linda did her job correctly.Ultimately they did issue the refund after collecting the sofa, but I will never shop here again. I will never recommend this place to anyone I know. The customer service is beyond atrocious.

Bought a table here 2 1/2 yrs ago along with $5,000 worth of other furniture. The table has broken in the same place twice. The first time it was within 30 says of purchase so they gave us a new table. The warranty plan that we purchased is crap and the technicians are dishonest. They also don’t cover the broken part we need. I called and spoke with a female manager at this store who said she would try to help us but she never called me back. Called and spoke to another manager. His solution was to send me a part diagram of the table so I could open the table (and hope it doesn’t completely break while doing so) - and find him the part I need. I could then purchase the part and pay more money for a furniture repair company of my choice to come put the parts on... still with the risk of the entire table breaking upon opening it. So, this is why I don’t recommend this store: bad quality furniture and customer service. Thanks for nothing.

Long term review. It's been less than 2 years since we purchased our livingroom set. All power reclining leather sofas. Their quality thus far has been strongly lacking. All of the furniture has completely deflated to the point you can actually feel the wooden sub structure within the seat. We're not high use individuals. I work over the road and the lady works full time. So we're well below "typical use". And that warranty that they push so hard. The cushioning of the furniture is only covered for 1 year. They sent someone out at one point who was supposed to come back with more fill so I was told. Never happened. It's severely disappointing that you go somewhere and spend $5000 on couches and they don't hold up beyond roughly a year. They used to be super comfortable... not so much anymore.
Despite the computer delay due to weather, the salesperson was outstanding and helped with everything I would highly recommend this store to anyone.

We came with money in hand ready to shop for an ottoman and recliner..walked around for 25 minutes nobody greeted us or seemed interested , as a matter of fact one salesman rushed past us when the door opened to greet an oncoming guest...things that make you go hmmm 😩quality of stuff I have to say was gorgeous.....we left without a purchase

We were going on a trip and our bus caught on fire. We went to Ashley Furniture and sought shelter, the employees there treated us with great hospitality and offered us water and other snacks. We were very pleased with this experience and we will definitely come buy some furniture in the future.
The employees seemed to have no idea what they were doing. We asked questions about a couch and the lady just picked up the info card off the table and read it to us. We had already looked at it and didn't need her to read it to us, we needed her to answer our questions. After picking out the sectional the lady asked us several times what parts of the couch she needed to order, but that's not our job to know. We pointed out one of the options on the info card and she should have been able to do the rest. After putting the order in she wanted to run back to the info card to make sure she ordered the right one but then after double and triple checking told us she ordered the wrong one and had to redo it. Finally she got the order correct and asked for payment. We paid then after looking at the receipt realized she never put on a 25% discount the store had for New Years. If we didn't see this on the receipt we would have over paid close to $600. The card was already charged so at this point we had to be brought up to a financial advisor of some sort who gave us our refund. The advisor was very kind and quick (she's the reason there's 2 stars instead of 1). As long as the couch comes when we were told it would, we are happy with how quickly they deliver. Over all it was a hassle and the employees need to be thoroughly retrained or replaced because they have lost a return customer because of the hassle.
Had a loveseat and couch delivered today. Delivery men did not have the right tools. My wife let them borrow from my tools, now it's gone. On top of that the feet on the loveseat are on crooked. I'd fix it but they took my tool! What a joke.

I purchased a sofa, love seat and recliner from Ashley HomeStore. This set was reasonably priced and met my under $1,000 budget. It is perfect for the space I have it in, and is quite comfortable. Sales staff was knowledgeable and professional, and they offer you a window of delivery times, which they confirm with you prior to delivery. All items fit nicely through standard sliding glass door, which I was concerned about. Set up was quick. The only concern I have is about the microfiber and how to remove minor stains. Other than that, I am overall very pleased with my new living room furniture.
