I went into Ashley Furniture after seeing the great sale on T.V the day before. I went in search of a nice affordable bed. Well, of course I got the run around, talked into credit checks that I knew I wouldn't qualify for but did it anyway. I was denied for financing, and then offered another option that would run your credit again but that one would have to be paid off in 101 days. After hearing all the sales BS and running my crddit and dropping my score of course I was highly upset. Until I ran into Brandon Von Rueden who found me a nice comfortable, affordable king size something I would have never bought because I live alone. He also introduced me to the option of paying it off at my convenience with 30%down. I am a difficult customer I'll admit and this is the first time a sales representative has had success with turning my wrath into me dancing into their restroom. Im so happy and satisfied and I cant wait to receive my new bed all thanks to Brandon Rueden located at 2302 E. Springs Drive location. 😁

My wife and I had been to many furniture stores that day and were exhausted. The stores we had been to had salesmen that were only interested in pushing the most expensive beds they had. Our last stop of the day was Ashley furniture. I was ready to call it a day, but my wife said let’s try this one store before we head home. We walked into the store and met Brandon Von Rueben. He introduced himself and told us that if there was anything that he could help with to let him know. We explained to him we were interested in a bed and he was happy to help. Brandon took over an hour and walked us through each bed. He made us lay on a dozen different beds before we found the right one. I have to say I was not totally up for the idea of trying out a whole bunch of different beds when I was just ready to be in one. Lol. I found it comforting, knowing that Brandon was willing to take time to have us lay in each bed and explain the pros and cons of each bed. In the end, we got the perfect bed with an adjustable bedframe. We also decided to buy a kitchen table with chairs while we are there. Thank you, Brandon for helping us find the perfect bed and kitchen table. Ashley furniture is lucky to have you as a salesman.
My partner and I had an incredible experience at this store! We had been on the hunt for a sturdy, good quality bed frame for several months. After much trial and error via online purchases, we decided to look at frames in person. We visited a handful of different furniture stores in the Madison area and out of all of them, Ashley Store + Outlet provided the best customer service, bed frame selection, and price point. Alex, the store manager, helped us find a frame that aligned with our needs and budget. He was friendly, attentive and really took the time to answer our questions and ensure we were happy with the choice we made. I would recommend Ashley Store + Outlet to anyone and will certainly choose this store for future furniture purchases.
Bad service..I picked up a head board and frame. Come to find out after 4 hours of putting it together they gave me the wrong bed frame sides. I called them right away and said they could order the right ones and give me a credit..I called twice yesterday at Madison east store. I talked to lynn she wasn't she after 3 weeks if they had them or not. She was going to check in back of store. Waited all day. No phone call back. Called all day today and all I get is voice mail. Yesterday lynn was also saying they have no idea of any credit that was offered to me.

Do not order online. I wanted to return a couch/ futon because it just wasn’t right for me, I did not unpack it right away due to moving. When I called to return it they said that decision had to be made within 7 days of delivery no matter what. Pretty crappy
So we ordered a bed set , dresser, nightstands from Ashley East furniture and the bed set arrived yesterday the rest of the stuff would not arrive until 9/10 And they got most of the bed put together and then realized that the sales person ordered the wrong headboard and we could not talk to customer service because they’re Internet was down. The sales person also said it came with a cover to protect the mattress in case we didn’t like it and would like to return it That did not arrive with it either, so last night we went to the store and talked to the manager, and he said that he could possibly get our headboard from a different location and it could arrive with the rest of our Order on 9/10 then he took us in the back of the store to pick out the cover to protect the mattress and told us the price on them and said he could give us some sort of discount. I was just shocked that he was going to charge us for it when his employee told us it was included with the mattress. I’ve worked /managed in customer service for many years and would never charge a customer when my employee made a mistake, saying something was included, and it’s not. It has not been a pleasant experience, not sure I would recommend them to people to buy furniture from very disappointing!

I just had to tell you about my amazing experience today! I went into the furniture store with no intention to buy anything, just wanted to browse and check out some couches for my new home. But, guess what? I couldn't resist and ended up walking out with a new couch! The young lady who helped me and my partner did an incredible job - she really knew how to make a sale. She demonstrated the value of the couch, negotiated a great price that we were happy with, and convinced us that it was a fantastic deal. We left the store beaming with joy over our unexpected purchase. Couldn't be happier with our new couch!

We had the opportunity to work with Kayla - informative but not pushy, helpful and went over and above giving us every detail we needed to make a decision. My husband and I went to Ashley Furniture in search for a new sectional. My salesperson started out great and showed my husband and I a wide variety of different options. After considering some of the options, we decided that we weren't ready to make the purchase just yet. My salesperson asked for my phone number, and in my experience that means that I would get called a hundred times until I made a purchase. I declined to give my information and it was like a switch, he lost all interest in helping me. He was like "I'm working off commission, I've wasted a lot of time helping you when I could have been helping other people who were serious in buying." I had mentioned earlier that we might have been interested in looking at their appliances. He was just like appliances are over there, have a good day and walked off. He was very rude. I forget his name, but he had a couple tattoos and some face piercings. Black hair. After we left Ashley, we went a couple doors down to Bob's furniture and purchased the same sectional for $1,000 less, and far less rude behavior! We were helped by Paul at Bob's, who believe it or not, actually used to work at Ashley's. No wonder why he left!
Amber was a pleasure to work with. She spent time with us to listen to what we were needing and helped point us in the right direction. She was not pushy and allowed us to make the final decisions on what we bought. We will definitely purchase again from Amber & Ashley HomeStore!
I came here for the first time to buy a new pillow. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by their staff. They were all very welcoming and knowledgable. Darin helped me personally and answered all my questions very professionally. In a matter of minutes we found the right pillow for me. I will definitely be back!

I went shopping for a new furniture set @ Ashley madison east. I was greeted kindly by Edgar who took me right to what I described! He sat with me and talked over pricing, set up options, the fabric/cushion details and the service option for continued care of my investment. He also made delivery notes and went over everything with me twice to make sure I was getting what I wanted and there were no questions. 7 days later I was searching for my dining set and I sent him a message asking if he could find me an "out of stock" option. Within 20 minutes he found it for me and was able to put it with my previous sale for payment and delivery with ease! Super thankful for him! I would like to give a shout out to Darin, the manager as well for his help along the way.
Don’t trust that 72 month credit no interest. We have it on the paperwork and they still charging interest and the gm don’t return calls your salesman won’t. The service is definitely not what it use to be it’s kinda sad. I would never leave a bad review but it’s beeen to many discrepancies and they don’t care once it’s paid for
We came to the store looking for a new mattress because I was having back problems, Edgar greeted us upon entering not to mention he is bilingual which made us feel like home, he helped my husband and I select the best mattress for us without being pushy like other salesmen. Awful quality and issues with calling to speak to a manager and never returning your call. I had 3 tables, 1st table started pealing a month after recieving it and was told it was normal. They replaced it with a different style people came to set new one up and instead of unscrewing the shipping block they went right through my table top and didn't say a word until I saw it later. Then they replaced it and turns out the chairs loose cushion after 2 months and screws come loose, they replaced several parts on these chairs and clearly a design flaw but they are willing to do NOTHING for me.

Customer Representative in a personal and professional manner addressing our interests in various pieces of furniture for our family room. James demonstrated a friendly and enthusiastic attitude and attention to our needs. He demonstrated a vast knowledge of furniture selection, style, livability, and matchabilty, of various pieces of furniture. In addition, he demonstrated a creative design of fabric colors and textures that flowed from piece to piece. James was not high pressuring or over bearing. His personal and enthusiastic approach with us met and exceeded our expectations. Well done James B!
Sales people here are pushy and condescending. Three sales people bee-lined for us when we enteredWhen we got to the other side of the store had to tell a fourth sales person "just browsing today, thank you" FIVE times, he just continued to ask questions and follow us around until we just walked away quickly and left the store as he was not taking the hint that we wanted to be left alone. In a past visit a sales person acted like we were stupid when we asked if they had a metal mattress frame in stock, he laughed and said "no we don't just keep them around". He also smelled very badly of body odor. It is bizarrely unpleasant to shop here

Amber was great to work with! I never felt like she was pushy and she was patient with my inability to make a quick decision. I bought two sofas, two chairs, and a new mattress/base. While looking at mattresses I wasn’t quite sold on the more expensive bases and she asked why, listened to what I was saying and didn’t push me to spend more money on something I just didn’t want. I really enjoyed working with her and will be back to buy from her if we need more home furnishings in the future!
Really disappointed we were NOT told we had to "break-in" our Tempur-pedic mattress. It came in hard as a rock. Went back to Ashley the next day and couldn't return for 30 days because of "break-in period". No one told us we were buying a brick mattress! Having just damaged both knees, there was no way I could "jump up and down on it" like they suggested. Would have been good to know this up front!!!!! Now I have PERMANENT, NON-REVERSABLE SPINE DAMAGE!!!! I hope your commission was worth my next 25 years of misery. You guys suck.
Brian Yeatman was very calm and took the time to show the different options available for a couch set and a dinner table set. There was no pressure tactics used and we were comfortable making a selection. He was very knowledgeable about the products displayed in the store.
I bought an expensive "high end" sofa from this store. It arrived broken. They replaced it. Later it broke again, but the store refused to honor the warranty. If you buy some expensive junk furniture from them, good luck.

We found furniture that we were interested in. The salesman was very nice and applied multiple discounts. We told him we wanted to go home measure our space and think about it. He suggested we put our credit card on file, so we don't have to come back (we live a hour away). We agreed to do so and when it was all said and done he handed us a receipt for the full price of the furniture along with other paperwork. On our way home we looked through the papers and realized our card was charged. This was not how the salesman explained holding the credit card was going to go. We asked if we cancelled the order how that would work. He said simple call tell them you don't want the furniture and done deal. I called two days later and canceled the furniture. They said it will be a couple days to have the money put back on my card. I called 6 days later to cancel the furniture they said it will take a couple days to put the money back on my card. I called 5 days later to cancel the furniture. I am currently waiting for a manager to call me back.

I’m not happy with Ashley furniture. When we bought our furniture a few years ago we added on a furniture protection plan that covered over and beyond what a extended warranty covered. One of them being pet damage. We decided to spend the extra 400.00 because we have 2 dogs. I would have never added this extra cost if I knew it wasn’t covered. Well my dog slid on one of our sofas and ripped the seat. I called right away to get this fixed and they call me back today stating that is not covered. Like WHAT!!!! So I guess the sales women gave me a bunch of bull to get a extra sale. How disappointing, and will probably never go back to this store again. This is why I really have a hard time with buying from stores that work off commissions only. I have never had a good experience with people who are trying to make money. I get why they need a paycheck, but don’t lie to your customers.

(I have been to many different furniture stores, including another Ashley store, and I have never received such great service).

I found the recliner I liked at Ashley. The Sales associate was great! He sold it at the price that I found it advertised online. The delivery method was great too - I could track the driver and knew when they would arrive. I went to the store after 7 pm on a Wednesday night, kind of wandered around for a while, but there were other people shopping so no big deal. Someone did come help me, was apologetic for it taking a while, but jumped right into action! Once we found out that I could pick up my furniture in a week, just in time for my move across country, I got checked out in 20 minutes. Love this store !

Amazing place to shop!! My husband and I had been to a few other furniture stores and were disappointed at the pushy salespeople who seemed to just want to make the sale and didn’t really care about what we wanted. From start to finish, we worked with Jacob D and he was not at all pushy and instead was very knowledgeable, patient, friendly and helped us find exactly what we wanted which ended up being something we thought we didn’t want. Our order was delivered early and we were kept up to date on everything. The process was smooth from walking in the door to getting our furniture. We definitely recommend and have already been back since the first purchase and will be going back again!

UPDATE: Delivery of our items only took FOUR days. The text updates were accurate, our delivery drivers arrived within the window provided and were kind and professional. Extremely impressed with the packaging of all seven large items delivered - thoroughly blanketed, wrapped and protected. Honestly - LAYERS of protection! Top notch service, product and delivery. 11/10 recommend!

Save your money and go literally ANYWHERE else!! Couch was in stock when purchased, then miraculously backordered for 18 months immediately after. Finally get the couch, feels like it’s made of cardboard, it breaks. Takes forever for warranty tech to come fix it, breaks the very next day. Go to pick up a new half of the couch to replace the piece that broke and they bring it to the wrong location (later they tell me they’ve actually lost it and need to order a replacement). Finally, the replacement piece is ready but wait, THEY GAVE ME PARTS FOR THE WRONG COUCH. Warranty center currently doesn’t have an estimated resolution date so I have no couch, indefinitely. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY EVER, the quality of service and products is UNMATCHED in the worst possible way.
Seth has been a dream to work with-and it has been a long dream! I purchased a new home and between remodeling and discovery of some major damage, I have had to move my delivery date more times than I would like to count (several months). Seth is always professional, kind, and helpful. He has helped me add items to my order, has provided key updates on items, and he took the time when I was in store to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I will come back to work with Seth without a doubt as I continue to design my new home.

He was able to help me pick a delivery date that worked with my schedule, and was overall very knowledgeable with Ashley’s policies and merchandise! Edit: I placed my order a month before it was due to arrive, and the day of the delivery one couch did not fit because Ashley did not make me aware of a height requirement from floor to ceiling, they only made me aware of a doorframe width requirement. The second couch arrived with a stain. After waiting over a month, I didn’t receive either couches and will be shopping elsewhere.

Had a good experience with the salesman, James, and made a decision to get a sofa and bed frame. We were told we can make a change to the order if we needed to change the size of the sofa before placing the order. We decided we needed a smaller sofa and went back to the store the next day to change the order. Spoke to store manager, Alexander Robinson, who stated it was fine to change the order and stated we should receive a refund of $570 back due to downsizing the sofa. Waiting several weeks and still no refund. Received many excuses and was kept being told we will get it within 5 business days. Sofa was delivered about 6 weeks later and still no refund. Alexander told us by phone, person, text, and email we will get our refund and still nothing. He wouldn’t even provide us with an itemized receipt of the new order even after being asked several times. We had to resort to filing a case with our credit card company. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND. DONT GO THERE.

James was great and well informed on his products. Very patient during the decision making process. **Update** I chose the pick up option. The coffee table was available for pickup 5 days after I ordered it with a holiday in the middle of that. James and the pickup staff were quick and awesome to guide me to the location in the back warehouse to pick it up. Putting it together myself is a hobby and was easy. One hole on the legs, was not there but you could see where it was supposed to be. They must stain their wood after hardware is put in because I punched a small screwdriver in the spot where it was supposed to be and I was able to continue assembly without any issue. Now it is time to upgrade the rest of the room :-)

I went in to look around as I am preparing to move and want to upgrade my living room past a beat up futon. James B(ond) helped me out. He gave wonderful insight and option, and took my took my silly couch descriptions in stride. When it came to picking out a set, he helped to get a great deal and work out payment to fit with my bizarre moving schedule. He made the whole experience a lot less daunting as this is the first I've really bought furniture.

We recently purchased a new dining room table 4 chairs and a bench. Upon delivery, we identified one of the chairs was damaged. I was told I needed to call in to Customer Service. I spoke with Alex who insisted that it was not their policy to do an exchange even though it was a brand new chair. He needed to order the part that would arrive in 2-3 weeks and the repair would be performed. Here we are, 5 weeks later, no part, broken chair and noone seems to know why there is such a delay. Very poor customer service considering the price I paid for new furniture. I did not pay for a chair that needs repaired upon delivery. When calling in to check on the delay I spoke with someone who suggested an exchange, then upon calling in a 3rd time, we were back to that not being an option. Seriously! How if the entire product was delivered in 2 weeks am I waiting 5 weeks for a replacement part (the entire back of the chair) and no one knows why. Poor customer service and damaged product!

Large furniture store with a lot of units on display. We had a wonderful experience while ordering our dining table set from here and Sarah was super helpful and patient. Unfortunately one of the chair was delivered without some screws and when I reached out to the customer support, I was given an ETA of 2-4 weeks for the set of screws to arrive. They also suggested that I have to buy it myself if I want to get it sooner than that as this ships directly from the manufacturer. This was surprising that they did not have any back up parts for such contingencies and ruined the experience. Definitely not going back to Ashley. Rating at 3 due to product and presale experience.
We bought a sectional, bed set and mattress, pillows and chairs. We are extremely pleased with whole process. I’d like to thanks James B again from here. He guided us to right products based on our needs. He spent hours with us until we decide and patiently answered all of our questions. He helped us even during delivery which we changed an item during that timeframe. If you are looking for furniture this should be the first place you go. It was super smooth from choosing to delivery&assembly.

I recently purchased a mattress along with a base from the Madison East Ashley Furniture store during a Memorial Day Sale. I had the pleasure to work with Seth. He was nothing short of professional, patient, understanding, and respectful in getting me the right product for the right price. I did not feel pressured either. To say that I was a very happy customer upon exiting the doors would be an understatement. When the mattress arrived, the deliverers seemed to have one goal in mind: Shove & pull the mattress upstairs as quickly as possible and get on to the next delivery. I partly understood as it was a hot Saturday afternoon with many deliveries left to make. BUT, they did not listen to me when I respectfully said that they would have to fold the mattress to get it upstairs safely, and as a result, they ended up ripping the mattress pretty badly in their carelessness. Thank goodness I was offered another mattress. When the new mattress arrived, I had different deliverers who agreed with me that the best way to get the mattress upstairs was to fold it (the website for the mattress I purchased said that this is okay to do for a short period of time in transporting the mattress). They didn’t even break a sweat in completing the delivery and they called themselves the “A” team. I was a bit scarred from the previous deliverers as I’ve never had a professional delivery before, but this “A” team did away with that. They were incredible. I would like to give 5 stars to both Seth and my second group of deliverers. Thank you for such a great experience!

Ordered a sectional and the service was fairly good however we did have a few hiccups that might affect others more. The sectional we ordered wasn’t the same length as when measured in store (likely because he measured using the “measure app” on iPhone). When the couch was delivered everything was seamless until unboxing when we realized it was the wrong couch. Called Ashley and they apologized and gave us a 10% reimbursement. The couch works in our space and is a starter couch so we aren’t too upset, but know you may not get the product you pay for when you shop here.

This review is not for the business itself but for this futon mattress I regret purchasing. I would not recommend purchasing this as it does not live up to what the description explains in any way, shape, or form. I ordered the Eve 8 Inch Thermobonded High Density Polyester Fill Full Futon Mattress. It is the flimsyest mattress I have ever experienced. I can feel every wooden plank underneath the cushion as I sit or lay down on it because it almost completely flatens out. Definitely the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have ever owned and am already looking for a replacement mattress after not even a week of having it.
Do not buy their furniture guarantee. It is advertised as a fail-safe way to have your furniture protected. I was told "short of the furniture being taken, this guarantee covers everything." We even confirmed damage caused by pets. Not a week later our couch was delivered looking beautiful. My puppy chewed a hold in the corner of a cushion (it was large), and we were told it could be replaced initially. This turned into a no, and now I can't even get a response from any local store. Left a message on Friday, and have been working through this on and off for over a year. It is the same blue couch as a reviewer left a few days ago saying it pills a lot, which it does. Very disappointed, as I have had great luck in the past.
My fiance and I purchased a couch from Ashley furniture! The couch came ripped and have contacted customer service many many times with no help and no response what so ever! The couch cushions have become extremely loose fabric and there is EXTREME pilling, that does not come off with a vacuum. This couch was a lot of money and I am extremely unhappy with my purchase! This couch in the photos is not even 6 months old and we do not have kids or animals!
Pushy salesmen, wouldn't give us any space or time to think. We walked out without purchase because we felt so uncomfortable and bought a mattress elsewhere. Also, I was the one purchasing it with my money and I was the one making the decision, yet salesmen only shook my husband's hand and talked directly to him. Very insulting. Get with the times! Giving a couple stars only because they seemed knowledgeable about the product.

We were on a hunt for a new couch. Started our search at bob’s looks at a few and went to Ashley’s to look for more. The store was empty. After walking around the whole store we saw 3 sales associate. No one came up to us or said hi. Very awkwardly and then uncomfortable. We ended up going back to Bob’s and bought a beautiful sectional for a wonderful staff.
We went in today to purchase our new living room set and Edgar Reyes definitely helped us out when it came to pricing and looking for what we wanted exactly. He was very professional and more then willing to help and go above and beyond. We had such a great experience shopping for our new furniture with Edgar. My Boyfriend and I moved in to a bigger apartment. I was so happy for the move, because our old place reminded me of a college house. Timo was our salesman at the Madison East location, he was super friendly, genuine and took his time making sure my boyfriend and I found the perfect sectional. Oftentimes because we are just hitting our 20’s people don’t take us seriously about making big purchases or treat us like we have no clue what we are doing. Timo never made us feel like that, I did most of the talking as I’m more outgoing than my boyfriend but he made sure we were both well informed. We bought a beautiful new sectional as well as a rising top coffee table to go with it. Very personal and professional, we even got to talking about our fur babies (my favorite subject lol), the experience was so genuine and we are so excited for our furniture to be delivered!!

The first time walking into the store staff was nice and allowed us to look around. My partner and I are not making final decisions at this time but he needed to see what I picked out from looking online. We went back this past weekend to purchase and the staff was rude. My opinion on what my house should look like is my opinion. If I want a daybed then that's what I want. Both associates got irritated that the bed was online that I was thinking about ordering. Yes, I understand the purchase is made online (hence online only) but we need mattresses for it. Is it not the same company? Then my boyfriend said "they must work on commission." Yup. We ended up buying a queen sofa sleeper but the staff is not as nice as you'd think. I was so happy to get out of there. Thank God for delivery.

We had an awesome salesperson-Kay. We were looking for a particular set, unsure if we were going to get a couch and love seat or chairs. I would of loved to get the couch and loveseat but my husband wanted his recliner and we didn't think we could fit all 3 in our condo. We currently have two recliners and a love seatMy parents bought this set last year and we really like it so when we went to the Ashley furniture store on the East side of Madison I gave her a copy of my parents receipt so she could look up the furniture and see if they had this style on the floor. They did so we were able to sit in this furniture and others to compare. We looked at several styles and came back to this style. As we are leaving for a trip out of the country in 8 days we set up our delivery for when we return in three weeks. At that time I will add the delivery experience.We are a little out of the service area so it cost us almost $100 more for the delivery charge. Because the couch and chair both need to be plugged in we purchased for $249 a battery pack so we didn't have cords across our living room floor. We also purchased for over $300 the extra 4 year warranty that if we don't use the service after 4 years we can get the $ spent on the warranty back in in-store credit. We had a great shopping experience. We had purchased our current living room furniture from Ashley on the West side 6 years ago and the furniture has held up wonderfully so I do t anticipate having to use the warranty but got it because of the electronics o. The furniture.

Cheaply made and expensive furniture. Many issues with delivery/ordering. Gently used and so many knicks and breaking drawers. Customer messaging says its open til 10pm Saturdays but in that time frame its telling me its not open. Overall bad experience. Pictures are just recent quality issues. Just sock drawers that are not frequently or overly used nor are we hard on our furniture. Chips are on an area that doesnt even get bumped into so its weird. I tell everyone i dont recommend

Staff need to stop following people around for every step they make! It’s extremely annoying. There’s no room for customers to browse around or discuss things with their friends or family. It’s extremely uncomfortable. And most of the time people just decide not to go in there instead.
Ashley supports Fox News by purchasing advertising on that network. It's unfortunate that this business has chosen to take sides. There are plenty of other furniture retailers in the area.

Salesman didn't order some items and didn't seem concerned when brought to his attention. When I added end tables to the order it extended time to order tio arrive. It was like he got the sale and now wanted nothing to do with correcting attention. Lynn Hitt in the office was the one person that cared about the customer. She worked with me to straighten things out and without her I would've been on hold for any type of Customer Service. She is an extreme asset to Ashley Furniture. Unfortunately I will not be shopping at Ashley anytime soon!!!

Going on well over a month and still have not received my platinum protection box that was not delivered when the furniture arrived, was told it would be shipped instead and still has not been received. When I called, I was told it would ship within a week, it has now been close to 4 weeks!
Hailey is the most helpful and sweetest sales rep I've delt with in a long time. It wasn't a big purchase but she was persistent in calling me back because I kept missing her phone calls.
Never buy here Ashley will lie and make up excuses as to why they can’t deliver your products terrible place of business and they probably could care less if you complain because people will still be stupid and shop here

As a younger couple people tend to look at us different when making nice or expensive purchases, that wasnt the case with Ashley furniture east. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with respect and attention like never before, Timo you are an excellent employee and Ashley furniture east is lucky to have you on there front lines. Took 25 minutes and getting hung up on a few times to get ahold of customer service only to find that they wanted $100 plus tax just to send out a technician to inspect a recliner that broke just after the year mark despite being under the limited warranty. This would be before any repairs, parts ordered or labor, all of which would soon exceed the cost of the recliner itself. Some warranty. You’re getting subpar furniture quality, and a business model designed to nickel and dime you. You’re better off buying furniture literally anywhere else, and hey, maybe you won’t need to wait 4 months to get it delivered.
Timo helped my mom and I pick out two wonderful beds for her house. He made the process and our decision easy with all the details. Definitely recommend shopping here for your home and decor needs. We'll be back soon to look at some wall decorations!

Called Ashley Furniture/Appliance Furniture to repair our couch at the beginning of November..They gave us a service date of 02/01/22 before noon. My wife instructed them to call my phone or her son's phone, as she would be at work and unable to answer her phone.. They called her phone never once tried my phone or her son's phone.. I work 16 hour shifts for the State of Wisconsin..so I value my sleep.. When my wife finally got a hold of someone at Customer service they refused to come out and fix the Warranty work until the 24th of March..another 50 days..do not buy anything from Ashley Furniture..they fall short of their promises and make you sit on broken Furniture for 6 months..Jason Vinz

Absolutely horrible experience. Ordered a new cushion for our couch in August. Received the outer casing 2 weeks later. Waited for about 4 months to get the inner casing. Every time I went to the store no one had any clue what was going on. Customer service has no clue what was going on. Was told multiple times I would get a call back never did. Finally get the casing today 4 months later and now I’m missing fiber fill. Also was told I would have to pay extra for the fiber fill. I mean what an absolute joke of a company. Turn over appears to be extremely high so I’m sure the company is just as bad to work for as it is to try and order anything. Now I have to wait for a call back for another week to let me know how they can help get the fiber fill. Yeah the vulture sales people will sell you furniture all day long but as soon as you try and order a part or anything you’re left high and dry and given no answers or solutions. Be very careful purchasing anything from this company.
Furniture arrived broken, and multiple deliveries are scheduled for the same piece of furniture. It’s also impossible to call because their support number routes you to a service which as soon as you explain the problem just transfers you back to the store…which just routes you to a service, even a second time when I asked them not to.

I went into Ashley’s looking for a Davenport and chair. Greeted at the door asked what I was interested in and pointed me in the right direction. I browsed around found something I was interested in my associate was never far away but didn’t badger me. He answered my questions and again didn’t try to talk me in to anything. After I finally made up my mind he was right there to answer any questions and write the sales up. I like going into a store and look around myself with out being hassled. Had an horrible experience with Ashley. We have purchased bed and night stands. Ashley delivered us a defect items. We have noticed the same and informed at delivery. They told us that some one from Ashley would reach out to us to fix this. Its been two months , we have not heard from them. Would not recommend Ashley especially as we buy expensive item and items are not proper.

Their furniture is complete garbage and falls apart within a couple years. Their staff will outright lie to you about what their warranty actually covers. I have them on video doing exactly that. Warranty coverage dept doesnt even adresss when you file a claim. DO NOT BUT FURNITURE FROM THEM OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. WORST $2000 I EVER WASTED !!!!!!! The couch in the picture is 6 months old and they wont cover it.

Ordered a couch in July. Was told it would be here September 13th. We heard nothing, no updates… nobody called. We waited. Two days before my boyfriend called and they said that the delivery date was changed due to manufacture. So we agreed to wait till the 29th. Today is the 29th. No updates and nobody called us not even a email! We called. Another problem with manufacturing! Extending another month! We are not mad about the couch not being here, more about the terrible customer service! They aren’t doing anything to help us. We haven’t gone almost two months without a couch that we ordered months ago! And in return they give us a 50.00 gift card which isn’t even close to how much we paid for our couch. I would not recommend buying a couch here or anything! They have terrible communication with customers and will never give you a true time for you to received the items you ordered. Hopefully we get it at the end of the month because we’re tired of being patient with workers that don’t support!
We had a pushey salesman . Than he turned to be a real JERK when he called to get a price on a mattress. when we said we weren't buying today he told the person who was giving him the price to forget it !He said that mattress would be sold in 2 days . He said mattress would go up a lot in price if we didn't buy today. WOULD NEVER RECOMEND ASHLEY FURNITURE. I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS. There are many other stores with salespeople who would treat us a lot better.
Zoe Crabb was Aaahmazing! 10/10 would come back just to see her for my furniture needs! She was friendly, personable, patient with me, listened to my needs and wants, and made great suggestions fitting what I was looking for. Unfortunately I ended up canceling my order, which was a bit sad as I did really like the quality of the couch Zoe helped me find. I had purchased furniture elsewhere and was waiting on delivery. After an unexpected delay with the other furniture place, I got tired of waiting and came to Ashley Furniture. Of course days after I purchased with Zoe and Ashley Furniture, my previous furniture place contacted me to set up delivery ahead of my last estimated update from them. As they had been pretty communicative with me, I decided to keep my previous order with the other furniture place. That all being said, I will hope to see Zoe again soon! Some really high quality furniture, and some really really cheap stuff. The biggest issue is the salespeople. Literally like vultures, makes for a not very enjoyable shopping experience.

I must say that this was truly a great experience shopping for new furniture. Lilliana was very attentive and extremely helpful!!! When I couldn’t decide on the piece that I wanted she was willing to move furniture from section of the store to another in order to help me make an informed decision. This was very impressive to me and really highlighted how exceptional she is in her customer service.

I like Ashley. Took a star off for some problems I've had with coordinating deliveries and having to call back several times when the first conversation didn't seem to "take" but all in all a good store and good products.
After thousands of dollars of product purchased over the last 6 years, this action has proven their warranty for furniture is pure fraud. Couches purchased for $3000.00 should not fall apart and need to be restuffed twice inside of 2 years. Their warrant coverage is fraudulent and the management is incompetent. Complaints filed with consumer protection, BB, and SOS- Wisconsin State Joufnal has this company wi collect payments for warranty coverage, but then deny claims with absurd reasoning. Avoid this company.
The Ashley shop in east madison is really a nice place to check out for furniture's. I would highly recommend this place. The customer sales person Abu Mohammed was very helpful and very friendly. He has a great knowledge on furniture and very good in explaining and suggesting models that would fit your home, budget and style. He is a very good resource to the shop.
Liliana is the best sales person there. My partner and I went to just buy a table and chairs and then return later to purchase a bed and living room set. She was so great and pleasant that we decided to get everything in one sweep! Even had great rates and financing as well!!

Walked 2 laps around Bob's discount furniture which had plenty of staff but none seemed interested in helping us. Instantly greetes at Ashley furniture. They has exactly what we were looking for in 2 options. They found out which one would deliver faster and we were in and out in no time. They also helped us load up our new electric fireplace. I changed my order to a contactless delivery and instead they cancelled the delivery all together. No email, nothing. Waited on hold for thirty minutes to reach their delivery center and am still waiting for the representative to call me back. I tried calling the store and the person who answered the phone doesn’t know what’s going on either, didn’t apologize for their mistake and wasn’t helpful at all. I guess it’s going to come in a couple of days...not sure. Really glad I donated my bed already in anticipation of a new one arriving today.

2nd time purchasing furniture from Ashley‘s and also purchasing a care protection plan they lie about the Protection care plan for you to get it. Then try to give you 50% so they can make more money off of you. My last time purchasing furniture from Ashleys lost a good customer.
Went there, was sold on a durablend leather couches. Bought the extended warranty to cover all cuts, nail polish,and cracking. Had all these issues, and when I called the warranty, they said the cracking was not covered. The sales person said it would. Ashley pusheses this warranty so buyer beware. Update. After review by the home office, it was found that our furniture belong to a bad batch. Got refunded the price of the furniture.
BUYER BEWARE!! Terrible furniture and NO customer service. Buy Ashley Furniture if you like disappointment and unacceptable treatment. Sales people lie to sell you warranties that don’t cover the furniture you purchase and Erin at the Madison East location is one of the worst deplorable customer service representatives I have ever had to work with. How she continues to be employed speaks volumes to the standards this company has.

This is how Ashley's delivery drivers get rid of their cardboard - illegally dumping on private property. Then when you reach out to their distribution center to file a formal complaint, they don't seem too fussed about it and don't bother calling you back. Now our small, independently-owned business has to pay to get rid of this corporation's trash. Wish we would have known this is how they do business before we bought our couch from them last month.
Very poor service after sale and the quality of the furniture is not great. About a year ago I bought sofa and love seat that cost me close to $2,000. The sale representative offered me a warranty plan which I declined based on my previous experience with their Warranty. The sale representative kept making claims about the fact that they recently changed companies and that the new company is owned by Ashley and that they are responsible and that I can call her or her manager directly for service. I caved in and bought the 5 year warranty. Six month later, the back of the big sofa broke so I filed a claim with them. The warranty company denied the claim saying it was a wear and tear. After fighting with them for a few weeks, they agreed to send out a technician. When the technician came, he said that the issue I was having is very common and that they always get it fixed. However, the technician said that his manager did not authorize him time to fix all the issues. That meant that I had to do another claim and the company will send someone else. I filled out the claim and the claim was denied again. I called the store manager and I asked for help to push this with the warranty company with no answer. The Ashley Furniture warranty is terrible and the quality of their furniture is not great, combine these two facts together and know that I recommend you shop somewhere else for your furniture
WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE INVOLVING FURNITURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will tell everyone to never do business with Ashley furniture! I bought my furniture back in February along with the "protection plan"-which is bogus.. you have to make multiple calls to get any coverage. Needed two cushions on sectional couch replaced back in August (dog stained while gone) well three months, multiple hour long waits for customer care, 4 new cushions, and still missing parts later.. we are supposed to have service today to finally fix the issue and simply have stuffing put in the cushions to complete them and surprise surprise we have an appointment in system yet no time was set up on their end for us today. ANOTHER 30 min call wait for them to tell me I should have received notification 3 days prior for time frame and they'll have to call another dept and call me back when they find out (mind you its 1pm) so I call the store and speak to Lynn who's talked to me now multiple times and never calls me when she says she will just for her to say this happened to someone else this week and she will have to call me back as well. I'm usually pretty good about these sorts of things as things come up, but the amount of calls/time I've put in for a couch that isn't the quality we paid for and 3 months of waiting I'm at my tipping point. I will be taking more action as I'm sure I won't get my cushions serviced or a call back today. DO NOT BE FOOLED... they are WAY over priced for the quality, at 8 months (I'm a clean freak) and gentle on furniture, the couch looks like it's 10 yrs old. Mind you I just sold my 13yr old sectional from Slumberland that was half the price and still looked brand new, should have kept it!!! Paying monthly to sit on a couch that's uncomfortable since cushions aren't correct...JUST GOT NOTIFIED ITS RESCHEDULED NOW FOR 1/13/2021

Go in with low expectations on customer service/delivery times, and you'll be fine. Unfortunately for your sanity, Ashley Furniture does provide good quality furniture, and fair financing so you lie to yourself and say 'Maybe if I'm honest with them, they will be to me too'. Anything involving fair, honest interactions with sales staff or management? Just forget it. My fiance and myself have gone to Ashley 3 times (living room set, bed, and most recently and couch and bar top table for our rec room). The previous 2 times we've ordered furniture, our delivery times were changed on us within 2 days of delivery, and the last time the delivery truck showed up empty with "no available stock". This most recent time, I was very honest with our salesman about the issues we'd had with Ashley before. He assured us that Ashley had made great strides to improve themselves in the last couple years when it came to their reliability. We were told our furniture wouldn't ship for 6 to 8 weeks. I am totally fine with that. I asked the salesman to "be honest with me, is that the normal delivery time, or does that account for the long-lead time with covid". I'm not an idiot. I expect things to be backed up because of the out-of-the-ordinary circumstances in the world. The salesman (with impressive confidence) said "Absolutely! Without Covid, our delivery time would be 2 or 3 weeks". He said he would call us the following Monday to confirm our delivery. Monday comes around and no call. I end up calling on Tuesday, and wouldn't ya know it, Tuesday and Wednesday are his scheduled day off. Also, now we don't even have a delivery time set up because they are so backordered. They gave us a guessed date of 12 to 16 weeks. We went to the store last week to pick up a cleaning set and to check on the status again. The people we talked to could not have seemed to care less about our situation. It seemed they knew we weren't going to cancel our order (not like we could, or would anyway) so it was "Sucks to be you" kind of a feeling. Look, its not the timeframe. I understand things are different now. Its me trying to level with a salesman and being lied to just so you can make a sale. I honestly wouldn't have cared if they said 12 to 16 weeks from the jump. This place just seems to give zero care the second you put name to paper. I will say, without question, my sanity cannot take another trip here. I think we'll try Steinhafels or a smaller business next time we need things like this. It's a shame.
The store it self is nice and spacious. There is a lot of product in every category to look at. I also liked the fact that my partner and I didn't get smacked in the face with a sales man before we got both feet in the door. We had time to look around and go at our pace. My partner and I did do some research online before going into the store as well. We found some couches online that we liked but glad we got to see them in person because come to find out, that was not what we were looking for. Our sales associate greeted us in a friendly, kind way and had great knowledge of all the sales and products on the floor. He showed us many different pieces and helped seal the deal on our new couch. He worked with me to help me get financially approved, which was the best and biggest relief I could have asked for. The pure fact of straight up customer satisfaction coming first with these guys is awesome. Go see Ricky over at the Eastside location, he's a great salesman.
Would leave a lower review if I could. Horrible customer service and sales representatives. The East Madison store told me they price match their own website online and refused. It took five calls for them to finally make the change. On top of that, they shipped me a brand new chair and hanging mirror that came damaged. Expect to never hear back from customer service. I called, emailed, and left voicemails several times a week with no response. Very disappointed at my experience at this store. Go somewhere else. Did not need this added stress on top of moving!
Warning! Do NOT order from Ashley Homestore. I ordered a bed frame and 2 nighstands months ago (early May). We failed to receive any order update or anything until end of July when the order was promised to ship in 2-3 weeks. After being unable to contact Ashley since they would not answer the phone nor would online chat work, we had to file a BBB complaint. They finally responded and said they would give 10% off the bed frame. Now they fail to do that, the person on the online chat just stopped messaging and have no choice but to dispute charges with the credit card company. It's so sad that a Wisconsin based company treats locals like this. They can't answer questions, ship anything on time or be contacted but they can sure blame COVID for all of their internal issues. I hope they expect another BBB compaint and more disputes as my order has been nothing short of a nightmare. Order from Ashley if you want to either get your items next year or not at all yet still be charged for everything. Horrible. 2 1/2 months for a sectional to be delivered. They rescheduled our original date. Well that day was a Sunday that I had planned for months to propose to my fiancé. I rescheduled that and they had it all in the computer ready to go for the next Wednesday. I'm on top of devils lake waiting to propose and get and email saying my sectional was delivered. No signature was taken or phone call. They just dropped it on our front yard and left. I was 2 hours away from home with brand new furniture on my front yard. Luckily it was a beautiful day and we live in the country. The only thing they did was apologize and give us a 200 gift certificate. Oh she said yes.
Be sure to ask for delivey times right out the gate. I told the salesman that I was looking for items that I could take either same day or as soon as possible. Picked out a nice set of dressers and an end table, go to pay and am told that I won't receive anything until MAYBE mid October... its the beginning of August. If he would have been up front with me on this from the onset it would have saved me 45 minutes. Seemed like he was more concerned with taking my information and setting up an account then getting me setup with what I needed.
My 3rd time buying furniture from Ashley Furniture and it's always a wonderful experience. The furniture is great and sturdy and looks amazing even after several years go by. I love Ashley Furniture and I won't go anywhere else to buy my furniture. 😀💖
I ordered two twin beds. They were delivered and floorboards were put on upside down, the beds were left in front of the closet so I could not get in the room. I had to move them in a better position myself because the delivery drivers left. The man walked down the stairs telling me everything was good, I said you don’t need me to check, he said we are good! It is a pandemic so assuming he is trying to keep distance which I’m ok with hoping everything was ok. Immediately after he was waking out the door, I went upstairs and noticed beds are slanted, that’s when I notice the floorboards were put on upside down. I called the men immediately, no answer. I called East Ashley’s and told them of the positions beds were left and damage noticed and remote not left for led beds. No one came back until 4 days later to assemble beds correctly. This is when we noticed further damaged then the damage I already told them. I was told they would swap merchandise but then told my claim was denied. I am told I had merchandise more than 5 days, but I had been waiting on them to tell me when they were replacing the merchandise. To sum this up, I was told for the damage caused they would swap out then later told no, we will not swap out.I was told I should not have let them leave without inspecting but as I explained I can’t make him stay. I did not sign anything that the merchandise was in good shape and called within 5-15 minutes of them leaving after looking everything over. I was told I should have signed something but they know I didn’t and it seems to not matter that their employees did not do their job. I have pictures. I asked to be refunded my delivery fee after I was told they would not swap the damaged merchandise. I was told no. I asked to refund me my insurance fee because if you won’t make things right for the damaged you caused why would you make things right for damage we cause in future. I was told no. I was offered a 100 dollars in store credit, with service like I’ve had. Why would I want that? I said I would return it all, I was told I would have to pay 15% restock fee though my return is due to their negligence. I order so much from them, but can honestly say I am very displeased with the customer service this go round. Ricky the salesmen was very pleasant though, I understand this is out of his hands. I was told I couldn’t swap because my item was no longer being made, just received my order July 27 but I see the item still on the website....go figure. I guess they are trying to keep every dollar and forget our customer service . Go elsewhere instead while in this pandemic, service will probably be better

Drove 50 minutes to get to Madison and immeadiately upon walking in the door was descended upon by a rude young man addressing us as "Guys". Really disliked my wife and I referred to as "Guys". This is a lazy Millennial thing. No, we didn't have an appointment (didn't know we needed one). Was shown a few Leather sets and left..., Won't be back!
I had a horrible experience with the store. After my approval for a Ashley credit card, online, I wanted to make a purchase for a bed set, but I wanted to pay for part of my purchase with a separate debit card, in addition to my Ashley card, so I was told to go into store to do so. When I arrived at the store, the employee that helped me told me that she couldn't price match my online order price because I wasn't paying with cash or credit card. She, and her manager, told me that if I used my Ashley card that my discount would be eliminated, since my Ashley credit card was for financing and the discounted price would not work for financed orders. They staff went on to tell me that they would raise the price for me by 300.00, which they told me was still a great deal since ordering online wouldnt give me a discount at all if I used the Ashley card, and that I would get a cheaper deal if I didn't place my order online. So, I believed the employees and decided to try out their deal through the store purchase but little did I realize I would be paying more with debit card then I would like to. So i canceled the in-store order, walked outside, and decided to try ordering 2 of the items online to see if the discount would be granted, and it was! But by this time, one part of the order I wanted was sold out. I was extremely upset and went back into the store to see if they could help me order the other part of the purchase which was out of stock. I also told them I was able to get a discount and then they told me that they knew this because my Ashley card charges interest. By this time, I was very upset!! All I wanted, was to purchase a bed set and get the discounted rate that I was promised online. Ashley said they guarantee price match but this store did not. I feel as if they lied to me, and then turned me away after I found out their lie. It shouldn't have been this difficult. I haven't even been able to get a hold of anyone online in regards to this purchase. I am going to cancel the partial order altogether, and I already tried to do so online but the woman helping me in the chat room repeatedly said she couldn't help me and then she blocked me from the chat when I said this service is simply horrible!! I have never experienced anything like this before. Ashley furniture used to be my favorite store, and I really wanted this bed set but to go through so much hassle is ridiculous and uncalled for. I am highly disappointed in their service!!
Thought this would be a great place to buy a couch and all my houses furniture from from the good reviews but turns out it’s not here’s a list of everything that was wrong - 3 separate holes on separate prices of my couch that I paid almost $3000 for - Delivery date was not correct - Didn’t deliver all of our furniture - scratches on my bedroom set mirror - scratches on the dresser And they told us for the product we didn’t get “it’s just sitting in the warehouse it’s available they just didn’t put it on the truck” Also for my new couch to be delivered without holes hopefully is going to take another 2-3 months I’m never going to be spending money at this business again I hope this helps you guys
We have had a HORRIBLE time with this store. We placed an order for over $2,000 with this store in May. When our furniture was supposed to be delivered on June 17, they called my boyfriend who was at work and unable to answer the call. They did not take the next step to call me, which we gave the sales rep my phone number for this exact reason. Therefore they did not deliver our furniture and delayed the delivery for two weeks. The day it was supposed to be delivered the second time they told us they had staff issues and it would be delivered the following day instead. When the delivery finally came, the wrong chairs were on the order (placed by the sales rep). The boys (they were young) that delivered said they could only walk through one door, so they dropped three large boxes weighing over 100lbs each in the stairwell of my apartment complex. So instead of waiting for my boyfriend to get home from work to help move them, I was forced to move them by myself because they refused to walk 5 more steps through a second door to place the packages in the lobby. Then, when I brought the furniture up and opened the boxes, our tv unit had chips in it and our kitchen table had no legs. We were told a new table would be sent basically a month later. So I&'ve had a large box taking up my entire kitchen floor because they won&'t come pick this one up. During this process the sales rep had horrible communication. Would tell us he would call us Monday and by Friday we never heard from him. The manager of the store finally got in contact with us stating that he could only offer $150 discount for our troubles (we negotiated and he said the most he could do was a $200 refund and $50 gift card). We then found out that when our new table Was going to be delivered they still wouldn&'t have our chairs for us. So now instead of a box on our floor we&'ll have a table that we&'ll have to stand at to use for a month. We decided we don&'t want to deal with that so we would return the table and chairs and take the negotiated $200 refund. The manager said the refund wasn&'t going to be applied if we returned the table and chairs. As if the return was compensation enough for our issues. We are beyond disappointed in this store and their lack of customer service and decided we would like to cancel our entire order. We have not heard from the manager. Still waiting to see what happens with this. But all in all, I would NOT recommend this store.
I bought SEVERAL pieces of furniture and in store customer service was great. I was skeptical about the warranty, but was assured it would be a smooth process and totally worth getting with young kids. Well, my daughter spilled on a rug, and used a sticker on the leather couch which resulted in discoloration. However neither claim were honored...even though this would be accidental. They claim it’s normal wear and tear. Just purchased a new home, and because of this experience, I’ll never purchase their furniture again. I never post reviews but the way we were treated through this process was outrageous. If you say you’re going to do something, honor it, it’s that simple.
We were extremely pleased with the customer support provided by their sales associates. He listen to what we were looking for and helped us pinpoint the options they had to offer. It was a very concise process. I would definitely highly recommend them.

I went to the East side Madison store today with my son. The sign on the door said by appointment only so we started to turn away but then were motioned to come in by a gray hair heavy set guy at the door...There were only a few people in the store so I guess it was ok...we got inside the door and he asked what we were looking for and I said just browsing for some small decor items, pillows, lamps etc...my son was looking for a sofa but he never got asked for what he was looking for because when I told him small things the man told me and my son that &"we don&'t want people just browsing around the store...so you should go to ....he named another store but I already forgot the name of it. Point is...I am 66 years old and I have never in my life been turned away at the door to go in a store..I have purchased from Ashley many times and will never again walk into an Ashley furniture store...I could see if there was a line or a lot of people in the store but there were only a few people in the store and no line outside waiting...I&'m thinking maybe because of my age he discriminated against me possibly thinking I could not afford to shop there...??? At any rate I will NEVER go there again nor will I ever encourage anyone else to shop there either. Sharon C.

Jesse and Michele were very helpful but in a “no pressure” way. They guided us through their 0% payment plan. They were able to discount our bed frame and mattress because of the Mattress Marathon sale. When our bed was delivered we received email messages to pinpoint the arrival time. Aaron and Cooper were meticulous, they cleaned up after themselves as they went. They made suggestions regarding our adjustable bed frame we were going to throw out. This saved us $144. The return was no problem. I highly recommend East-town Ashley Furniture.

We swung in to both Ashely and Bob's nearby to compare pieces and prices while looking to furnish an apartment. This place is your traditional furniture store, with the soothing overhead music and the employees that bum rushes you at the door. In all honesty, our salesmen was a nice guy and pointed us in the right direction without being too pushy. The quality here seemed decent enough for the price, but the dresser and chest of drawers sure do seem to bring a lot of money for pressed board and shoddy gliders...but that's nearly every furniture store. Ultimately we found our pieces elsewhere.
We shopped online and knew what we wanted when we got to the store. Sawyer directed us to the furniture grouping, then showed us other options and coordinating pieces. He was very friendly and helpful. Furniture was delivered on date scheduled. Love that they called us when the truck was 30 minutes away. Delivery guys were pleasant. Put our new sectional together quickly and took all wrappings and trash with them. A great experience. Highly recommend.
Since October I have been dealing with broken furniture. I had a schedule service appointment and no one showed up. I had to call and schedule the appointment in order for them to show up. They show up on December 2nd and figure that my furniture is broken and that someone should come and pick it up. Today is December 27th I left a voicemail right away this asking them to call me since I need this resolved. I have called two time and no one can give me an answer of why no one called me or scheduled to pick up my broken furniture. What a horrible customer service. 02/04/2020 My furniture was picked up on 01/02/2020 to get fixed, still yet to hear from someone. I called on 01/30/2020 to see whats going on, someone was supposed to call me back, today is Tuesday 02/04/2020 no call yet. I find it funny how they only respond to the good reviews. I have been with out my new broken couch for over 3 months. You go to the store and ask to talk to a manager and no manager ever comes out to talk to you.
I would give it less if I could. I bought a $7000 tempurpedic mattress and base. The delivered and could not get remote to sync. They promised to get it fixed asap. I was ran around for last three weeks. With a date of March to get someone to my house. Finally I called tempurpedic today and they were as frustrated with Ashley. In one minute they unlocked remote and will send me piece for bed for free. Next time I buy direct. Horrible customer service.
Jesse Hughes assisted us with a mattress purchase. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient! We felt immediately at home with him. He was able to explain mattress properties in easy terms. My Mother, who is 88, completely trusted him and felt he was an “honest “ salesperson. We monopolized his entire afternoon but he showed no sign of any urgency to be somewhere else. We would definitely recommend asking for him when shopping for a mattress at Ashley Furniture - Madison East side! Wonderful customer service👍
Start with the good... our sales guy was great. After that, it's been seven consecutive failures to get us all the furniture in new/good condition. I purchased a custom sectional four months ago. About three months ago, it was delivered with a tear in one piece. I don't want to bore you all with the details, how it took them forever to call and get it, and we still don't have that one piece. Seven failures related to communication and fixing the item and deliver. Seven. They WILL NOT call you to let you know what's happening. Don't expect any communication for more than six weeks after reporting a defective item. They WILL NOT schedule a delivery or pick-up for a damaged item around your schedule. They WILL NOT think of a creative solution and/or go out of their way to get this delivered and back into the customer's home after another failure on their end. I just want to rest on my couch. I work long hours (some unpaid) to please customers. I think of unusual ways to resolve issues. Why can't they?
Buy With Caution... 2 of our Appliance were not working out of the box and ApplianceMart will not stand behind their products and appliance repair companies.... Our 7 week old dryer has been making a loud clunking and ratcheting sound since the 2nd time we used it. We have had it serviced 3 times. The first time the repair man came out and he was rude and the dryer was up to its same sounds and lack of drying capabilities within a day. So I called ApplianceMart back and said that a brand new dryer should not have these issues and Deb the contractor coordinator said she understood my frustration but was very brash and rude with me on the phone. They then sent out the same repair man who again did not fix the issue the first time. I told him while he was here that I still heard the noise and that is wasn't fixed and he stormed out of my house and canceled our service appointment so I wouldn't give him a bad review. I called furniture and ApplianceMart again to complain about the service and Deb stated that they only contract people and aren't responsible for their behavior and that they needed to send out a 3rd repair man. The 3rd repair man was also unable to fix the dryer. I called furniture and ApplianceMart again to see if we could receive a new dryer as they promised us that after 3 service visits they would make a swap, however because the disgruntled serviceman who came out the 2nd time canceled our order we now have to have a 4th service call. When speaking with Greg Schaffer the manager of Furniture and ApplianceMart and explaining our plight and how we have felt disrespected he said there was nothing he could do because his store couldn't take the financial hit from replacing the dryer without going through whirlpool. We have spent hours on the phone and waiting for service appointments. Replacing our dryer has become a full time job. This is unacceptable from a 7 week old product, brand new out of the box. In short Furniture and ApplianceMart does not stand behind their products or service providers and will treat you with an attitude of I don't care, I just work here, and only help in most minimal way possible. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. We will never buy from Ashley furniture and ApplianceMart ever again.

Couldn't recommend Ashley furniture enough! Especially this location, prices are fair and the employees are wonderful. Julie is our go-to when it comes to helping us with picking things out, she's patient and extremely knowledgeable. Kevin the GM of the store is absolutely amazing and so genuinely friendly you feel at home.

The level of flexibility and professionalism from the sales staff was outstanding. Mr Trevor Sellers from the sales team did everything possible to help is get what we want , moved furniture around personally to help illustrate combinations , changed order over and over again to help is reach the desired due date . He was awesome ! The only thing that I felt needed improvement was the long due dates for delivery of the purchased items. Thanks to Trevor for helping us override this.

Staff and service were superior. I came for the promotion ULTIMATE FURNITURE DEALS promotion and they were able to fulfill everything on my list. Only reason the store falls short of a 5 Star review is the selection itself. When I visited, the selection on hand seemed a bit sparse. For example, I was looking for a kitchen island type piece and the store had one model on hand to look at. Not bad, but I would have loved to view the piece I was buying in person. Overall, a quality product and supported buying experience.

After this, I got in touch with a manager at the extended warranty company and he said my old claim was indeed declined due to &"accumulation&" which means I have too much stains on top of each other. So supposedly I was supposed to call every single time I get a stain, no matter now small it is. I told him why would I want to go through this whole 2-month issue with them over every quarter-sized stain my kids make? By that time I would have gotten a new stain! - Which is exactly what happened throughout this whole thing. I got a new stain for which this manager said I could make a new claim and he promised me that it would be treated as a whole new claim separate from the other one. I asked if I would just always be denied over and over again even if I had a new stain because clearly I got denied for the past stains. He said no I wouldn&'t be denied because this is a whole new stain. Well....I got denied AGAIN. He also promised to email me their 2-page policy on the plan I purchased, saying it is very plain, straight-forward plan which is why it is only 2 pages long. Well....never received that email. Moral of the story: These people are LIARS and CHEATS. I called the store again and spoke to a lady manager telling her I would no longer do service with them. They are horrible and they need to communicate with their warranty and customer care people because apparently these companies work together but have no idea how to communicate. What kind of company hires a third party and have no idea how they do business when they are lying to their customers? How do you think that makes Ashley&'s look? DON&'T EVER COME HERE.

We had a wonderful experience at Ashley, Trevor spent 45 minutes with us helping us decide what would work best for us. We went to one other furniture store but they didn't have the best selection. We came back the next day and bought the furniture. Overall a smooth transaction from start to finish.

If you want the worst possible customer service experience order from here. If not, save your money. I ordered a loveseat and chaise on Memorial Day and ordered it for pick-up. The man at the warehouse was extremely rude and sexist. I got to my apartment to find out I had received the wrong facing chaise. I called right away and the person in the service department told me he would let my sales person, Justin, know and it would be resolved quickly. An hour later Justin called me to apologize and tell me he thought it was either a delivery or warehouse issue, but he would call me in a couple hours to let me know. Two days went by and I never heard a thing. I called and spoke to someone in the service department, Misty. She looked at my order and there wasn't a single note about me receiving the wrong chaise. She told me she had to call and talk to a manager at the store to find out what to do. I later received a call from her telling me to send photos of the couch to prove it was the wrong one. I understand needing to see I have the wrong one, but this was ridiculous after I had already been told this would be resolved days ago. I emailed right away and never heard anything. I called the next day and spoke to someone else who told me Misty would get back to me when she came into work. She called me hours later and told me she never received the photos and told me she would email me directly. I never received an email so I called the store and talked to a manager, Stacy. She had me send photos and forwarded them to Misty. In this email she also stated to Misty that I didn't receive the pillows that were also supposed to come with the couch. Misty called me and told me it would be all delivered the following Monday. Days later I received a call from the delivery service that they don't even deliver to Madison on Mondays so they had to change it to Thursday, but I would receive a time frame a couple days in advance. I never received a time frame so I had to call once again (so at this point HOURS of being on hold). The delivery actually went smoothly (shocking), but they said they had no pillows. I emailed Stacy, the store manager I had previously spoken to, and she emailed me saying I didn't pay for the pillows. Then I received a voicemail from my sales person, Justin, saying the pillows were his fault. He said they were in the ticket price, but the price I paid wasn't the ticket price; therefore, if I would want pillows I would have to pay for them. When I look online the total price is $799 and I paid $419 for each piece ($828 total), which makes it seem as if I did clearly pay for the pillows.
My husband and I were hoping to find a living room set today, but the salesperson, Lucas, was so pushy and constantly following us around, I was completely turned off from even looking for furniture. I told him from the time we entered the store that we wanted to look around for awhile and sit on the furniture and we would find him when we had questions or found something we liked. He would leave us alone for maybe 3minutes and then would come hound us! Constantly asking us if we had questions, as well as continually asking us what we were looking for. At one point when we were looking through the store, he came up and asked us why we were even looking at those pieces when we told him that we were looking for something different!! I couldn’t wait to leave!! As we tried to leave, he continued to sales pitch us in every possibly way, basically begging us to try to get a sale. I will have a VERY difficult time going back there. I am so disappointed.

If you want furniture in a timely fashion then don't get it from here. Waiting over a month to get my daughter's bedroom set and kitchen table. Keep calling me and telling me there is a manufacturer delay and it will be another week. There is a reason that brick and mortar stores are going out of business!
We have purchased several items from Ashley Furniture in the past 3 years which included a sofa and a sofa sleeper, 2 end tables, a coffee table, a large dining room table with chairs and a long high table stand. We go back to Ashley Furniture because of the excellent service along with the large variety of quality furniture they carry at reasonable prices. I don't want to forget their delivery team, they show up on time with happy dispositions and are very courteous and careful when they enter our home. There is no reason to go any where else in our minds!

It's been a year since I purchased my furniture here, and it might be my most expensive mistake. My furniture is now more uncomfortable than the floor. Only buy this furniture if you're never going to use it. The first clue should have been during delivery when my couch was missing parts and it took them over a week to order and install them. Also, the warranty is a lie and will not cover anything. Don't waste your money. Spend a little more somewhere else and you'll be a lot happier a year later.
Warning don’t waste ur time or money on their extended warranty. Should have known better. Have bought in past and not had furniture last long. Bought again during a sale and got extended five yr warranty thinking we are covered. Have had love seat a little over a yr. been fixed once after a great deal of run around and a day later noticed it still wasn’t right. Can’t even get warranty company to call back. Now it’s been sitting in my garage for months since we can’t use it. Warranty company is a joke. Furniture is poorly made. Save ur money and buy from thrift store. Lasts much longer for way cheaper.

Terrible, i have a 5 year warranty and have had my power $3800.00 couch for 2 years with one claim for a spill on it. my second claim was denied because of accumulative stains! I am fighting them!
It took almost 2 months to get our furniture. I expected a quicker turn around from a company that mass manufactures. Very disappointing. In addition to that, when my husband and I were shopping for a couch an associate was speaking to us. The use of the word "us" would be an exaggeration however as the male salesman only spoke to my husband, made eye contact only with my husband, and barely gave me notice until I was the one to pull out my credit card. The furniture looks great though!

Julie was very helpful and nice however deliver is a mess! I wanted to order back in February but they told me they cannot hold a delivery for more than 30 days and I was not moving until April 1st. I waited to order until March 9th and was told it would be delivered April 9th. On March 29th I called and was told it could not be delivered until April 16th. On April 1st I called back to see if part of it could come sooner and they said it was all delayed until April 29th. This was unacceptable for me as I am not replacing furniture I am purchasing for the first time and don’t want to live without for a month. I ended up buying a different set which still cannot arrive until April 16th. I also had to pay more for a set that is not exactly what I wanted but I cannot be without furniture when I work from home! Had I not called I would not have known about these significant delays. I will never order from Ashley’s again!
Unfortunately did not buy anything. thought everything is over priced for what it was. The reason brick and mortar are going out of business. Could find better deals on the internet that would still be cheaper than there ..SALES...
I have been looking for a good quality bed for about a year. I was very impressed with the prices. Also if what you buy goes on sale after your purchase they will refund you the difference.

If I could give zero stars I would. . . Let me explain: I bought a sofa, loveseat, accent chair and 7 piece dining room set from them May 2018. They gave us a "deal" and but insisted that we HAD to buy the FCP (furniture care plan) from them which was an extended warranty. We had no option if we wanted their deal. This was offered to us on multiple occasions but we never wanted to spend the extra money. But we wanted the deal so we bought it. The sales lady said if we had kids then it would help because if we got a stain on it, FCP would come clean it and if they couldn't then they would replace the cushion. About late January 2019 we noticed that our dining room chairs had been chipping away at the seats. Not only so, but we have had stains on the sofa so we decided to call customer care about this. They told us to email photos to their warranty person. The warranty lady said this would not be covered under warranty and would have to email to the FCP company which is third party company. We did this. We had tried numerous times to call FCP back in regards to our complaint but every time they tell us that no one is there because ANOTHER third party company answers their call on weekends. We were told they would pass our message along and SOMEONE would call back. Well, no one does -even on weekdays. 3 weeks pass and we call customer care. Spoke with Josh who says FCP is notorious for doing this to people. They never call back. He still has yet to hear from someone who actually gets a call back from them in a timely manner. Like WOW. Josh promises to call me back later that week as he tries to reach out to their "liaison" who deals directly with FCP. He doesn't call back so I call him back later that week. He's a nice guy but honestly has no answers for me. Offers me 50% off service. I decline because why would I want to waste more money on "service" they don't even live up to? I call the store (Madison east). they tell me the manager is busy and will call me back tomorrow. Never does. So I call and finally speak with the assistant manager Paul. He says it's not usual for FCP to not call and he has never heard of them being like that. usually reaches out within days. I tell him JOSH from customer care says differently. Says he will get a tech out to see my chairs as customer care should have at least done this and has the capability of doing this. Well they didn't! A tech comes and says that the damage to the chairs IS covered under warranty and will order parts which will come in 3-5 weeks. 3 weeks have passed and no parts. . . In regards to the sofa stains. Paul was going to "try his best" to get down to the bottom of this and figure out what we can do. Well Paul, it's been a month and you have NEVER called me back. So thanks for avoiding me, Paul. I called customer care today 3/20/19 (two months have passed now since the initial claim). They tell me that they have NO RECORD of a denial or approval from FCP which I made a claim on. They don't have access to these records as this is a third party but they have no record of me ever being denied. so i don't know Josh initially got his info from. Also the parts on my chairs have not even shipped yet (3 weeks and counting. . . ) I have no gotten a new stain on my sofa and they want me to send this photo to KIM their "liaison" who works directly with FCP. I send them the photo and demand that SOMEONE call me because I have been chasing their tail for 2 months now with no one ever calling me back. The rep starts getting catty with me and says "so are you saying you're not going to send the photos?". I told her yes I AM but who the heck is going to actually call me about it? because everyone loves to avoid situations around here and this is a pooooooooor customer service. She states Kim will be "happy" to contact me. Hah, we will see about that. To be continued. . . .

Sales and store were great Drew in Madison east store is the best, he "ALWAYS" helps us find what we need. I would give the store, sales and the furniture five stars. If you can avoid the shipping company please do so. They did not have anything to protect their feet snow salt water everywhere in my home. The measurements we received for the sofa were off. They could not get it up the stairs. When suggested a different way to go. They said it was "dangerous" and they could not help with that.(So putting the couch back in the truck and backing up to my neighbors driveway and walking it through to the side door was dangerous? My mom and i carried the sofa and put it into the house that way. No truck...Two large professionals could not. Hmm) On top of all this my new furniture was sopping wet, scuffed up and has a hole through the felt. I was nice and as accommodating as possible. My suggestion to anybody would be to pick up if you can. You will be rolling the dice otherwise. Bu

In a recent visit, Paul Dorn provided excellent customer service which was the main reason we decided to make several purchases. Initially, we were only interested in a sectional couch. After reviewing our circumstances with Paul and Paul providing detailed information, we decided to buy 2 twin beds with mattresses and box springs, a posturpedic mattress with an adjustable base and a framed picture. We never felt pressured, but rather, we were provided useful information. He made sure to show and describe all our options. Finally, he listened to us!

Very expensive to finance the furniture, almost double the price for 72 month supposedly free financing at zero percent interest. Plus, not the greatest quality.. Better off going to Kmart for that price and quality.. I honestly wouldn't recommend to anyone..
Mikaela Dams at the Madison East store was amazing to work with in all aspects. Mattress shopping is very overwhelming, with so many brands, options to purchase and types of mattresses. Mikaela was patient, kind, knowledgeable and listened to my needs and concerns and hopes. I will return to shop specifically with Mikaela for future furniture needs. She was never pushy or presumptuous; wanting to help me find what was right for me. I also appreciated her respecting my many questions without ever talking negatively of competitors or other mattress suppliers.
