My husband and I just had the very best experience with Augusta Doudna at the Platteville store! We were shopping for a new dining room table and chairs and she helped us find the perfect one. She was so friendly and was on a mission to find what we were looking for! Awesome customer service!

Spacious store with friendly service. Furniture holds up too. We still have couches, tables, and chairs that we bought in 2006. Just bought an upgraded guest room bed this week and enjoyed the wide selection of clearance items at fantastic prices.

Hannah was very informative and understanding of my friend Sylvia Garrison's handicap. Would definitely work with her again.

Today I had the best customer service @ Platteville, Wisconsin Ashley Furniture store. We were searching for a new mattress & they were on sale. We were overwhelmed by all the different brands and degrees of firmness not to mention material contents. Robin Dalsing, Home Furnishing Consultant came to our rescue. She immediately zeroed in on what we were looking for as well as being a wealth of knowledge. She patiently answered our questions, allowed us space to privately discuss our options and never once was pushy or overbearing. She made our buying experience simple & satisfying. We left with smiles on our faces confident with our decision.

I worked with Hannah to pick out and purchase a couch and she was excellent and provided top notch service. She helped me pick out the right couch that would best match my family, and was patient as I took my time to pick out what I wanted over multiple visits. Hannah is kind and genuine and it was easy to trust her as my sales person. My couch was special ordered, and it did end up taking longer than expected to come in and had a few delays, but Hannah kept me updated regularly via email on any updates and worked with me on a delivery date. On my delivery day, the two delivery guys that came were very professional and nice and they did a great job setting up the couch exactly how I wanted it. If you need to buy furniture, go to Ashley and ask for Hannah!

Update: I wanted to confirm the color for the special order I made last week. When I called Hannah answered. She knew immediately the order I was referring to and said “You ordered teal.” I was amazed. Such wonderful customer service! First post: We love shopping at Ashley in Platteville. My personal experience at Ashley Furniture/Platteville is most definitely worthy of a "top rating!" A friend referred me to Robin, and I am so grateful! Robin was brilliant, creative and efficient. When Robin was busy finding an ottoman for me, the other employees offered me their helpful assistance. My advice is...."Checkout Ashley's in Pville. I was surprised with the beautiful budget friendly furniture, but I was also very impressed with Robin and the employees present.

My brother was allergic to the fibers in the first loveseat that bought and she was will to come in on her day off to help him out with the new that he had to purchase after 48 hours of buying the first one. I wish they kept more items in stock so shipping didn't take so long but we've been happy with everything once it arrives. *Edit - I lowered my review because we are still waiting on our side tables. They say it will take a couple weeks to ship and now it's been over a month. Every time we've bought something they have been way off on the delivery schedule and it's frustrating. They don't do anything to make up for the delay and it feels misleading to the customer.

We've been working with Kurt as our salesman for 20+ years, he's never pushy and always super helpful in getting us the best deals possible on exactly what we're looking for. Highly recommend shopping at Ashley in Platteville and ask for Kurt next time you're in!

This is our second purchase from Ashley with Kurt’s knowledgeable guidance. When we’re in the market for another furniture purchase, we’ll be back!!

I recently went to Ashley Furniture in Platteville, and was offered really great customer service by Augusta. My fiancé and I originally went to the Dubuque, IA location, and received less than perfect service. We ordered couches for our new home 4 months in advance, and were told that the couches would be held in storage for us until we needed them delivered. When the time came for delivery we were told we were not on the delivery route, and that our couches were now discontinued and they could not even get the couches we had ordered. Upon trying to find a solution the Dubuque locations customer service was absolutely useless, and unable to offer us any kind of solution. We ultimately had to cancel our order. We were fortunate enough to call the Platteville location and receive wonderful customer service from Augusta. She went out of her way to find options that fit our budget, check on delivery times, and accommodate our frustration by offering a discount. She was able to find us the perfect set, and have it promptly delivered the next week. She was even gracious enough to call after the delivery to ensure the process was smooth and that we were satisfied with our purchase. I highly recommend visiting Augusta for your future furniture needs, and avoiding the Dubuque location at all costs!

I had a lift chair that stopped working. One of the cables got pinched and shorted out. I'm glad we had the guardian plan, the chair was replaced by the guardian plan. While we were there we purchased a new reclining sofa and the reclining love seat set. We also purchased a new dining set also. Thank you Kurt for the excellent service and deals today.

I described a coffee table I saw online and he led the way to it. And I loved it even more!! He was so fun to work with! Short version of this story, I ordered my new furniture that day(3.2.2024)! Went in to just look at dining sets. Ended up leaving with a new table and chairs set. Eric and Kurt were very helpful! Not pushy and very patient with my wife and I. Highly recommended. UPDATE: My wife and I purchased a sectional from Ashley Furniture of Platteville on May 10th. When asked what time of day works best; I said morning because I work in the afternoons. The store manager Kurt, who sold us the sectional, said no problem we can do that. Delivery date will be May 21st. I received a text from the shipping company that my delivery window was between 1:30pm and 4:30 pm. I call the distribution center and explained to them I needed a morning delivery so I wouldn’t have to waste a day off from work. All they told me was “Well, morning deliveries aren’t guaranteed.” Then why offer them in the first place?? I then called the Platteville store and spoke to Kurt. Explained our situation and he said he’d reach out to the distribution center and call me back the next day. Next morning he calls me back and said he rescheduled my delivery for the following week, without consulting me first! When I asked if it was going to be delivered in the morning, he responded “Unfortunately I can’t guarantee anything but they’re going to try.” Essentially saying morning deliveries aren’t guaranteed! On Friday, May 23rd, I received a text saying my new delivery window is between 12:30p.m. and 3:30p.m. Called Kurt again to inform him I’d have to take a day off regardless and he never should’ve rescheduled my delivery without my permission. To which he responded “ Well I’ve done everything I could do. My hands are tied so it is what it is.” I appreciate him going above and beyond for us; but as a whole I am very unsatisfied and disappointed with Ashley Furniture. They kept telling me nothing’s ever guaranteed and in this case, that includes customer satisfaction. Spent 3,000 dollars on a sectional and they can’t even deliver it in the morning!

Nothing but a positive experience! The staff there were very friendly and helpful with finding the furniture that I was looking for. The process of buying the furniture was straightforward and easy to understand, and it was reasonably priced.

I would not recommend dealing with this store, or any representative from Ashley Furniture in the area. I purchased a bed and Protection plan, within 3 months the bed frame had broken due to poor construction quality. When making a claim I was told an exchange or an instore credit. I chose instore credit and used it to buy a different piece of furniture due to not wanting another poor quality bed. The whole process over the course of 4 to 6 weeks, there was no expression that the broken bed needed to be returned or picked up. It was disposed of as I was given a credit not an exchange. Weeks go on and I spend hours in the store in search of a product which was approved to use my credit on, the piece comes in and I pick it up and they call me looking for the old broke product after weeks of this process. They blame me for not asking if it had to be picked up and I'm the one liable, now they want the new product back. In unused condition(after its been out together). They will not accept the faults of there process not being explained and letting weeks go on of it not being stated it has to go back. Now I'm out my original money on the bed, have no bed, And no replacement product. Up until this, all interaction was fine, but this really shows they don't care about you, or making things right. They messed up, but i am liable.

Purchased a chair from them at the end of November. Had to pick it up as they wanted almost $200 to deliver it. Was getting the feeling that the sales person I was working with was mad that I didn't want to buy a $2000 chair and then buy the "protection" that costs more than the chair I bought. Get the chair and it is rock hard, recliner function is broken, and not what I ordered. So I take it back to get a refund. I am told that the "finance lady" is sick so they can't do the refund but will take the chair and process the refund when she gets back. I have yet to get my money back and am just getting the run around with them. Guess I will have to dispute this with my bank. I will never return to their store or any Ashley store. I will also recommend everyone I know to avoid them too. Not sure what happened to them as they were a decent store with nice reps. Now they are just rude and over priced.

I got my two couches and ottoman delivered and come to fine out that the ottoman is broken and they will not fix it and I would not recommend them to anyone stay away from this place.

My experience with Jake was top notch, he was very up front and easy to talk to. This man is a great salesman and really concerned about customer satisfaction. Jake and I had a price agreement on a mattress, box spring & bed frame. At the time of payment, Kurt had Jake adjust the price of a clearance item back to the original asking price, because it was to much of a discount I guess. NOT COOL KURT! Not like the money is coming out of your pocket Kurt. That's not good for employee morale, it was obvious that Jake felt deflated by your scrutiny.

I'm not big on furniture stores just like dealerships. I don't like high pressure salespeople or them following you around. So, reading the reviews I saw that wasn't the case with this place. I stopped in and gave the place a chance. After about 5 minutes of wondering around Kurt, store manager, came and greeted me. Asked what I was looking for and lead me over to the chairs. I explained my budget and what I was looking for. He showed me a few chairs and they were all within my budget. Then showed me a nice chair under my budget due to a sale. I ended up buying this and an office chair. At no time did I feel pressured to buy anything and he was polite the entire time I was there. I have already recommended this place to a couple people I know. Will definitely be returning here for my future purchases!

Good , helpful experience at store. Knew delivery would be delayed. Was told when to expect it. Hadn't heard anything, so stopped in one day and the lady was very rude, did not look up order but said she would have our salesperson call. Didn't hear from her, ( I thought she probably didn't get the message) so I called store and the person that answered was very helpful. Was called in a few days to schedule delivery. We made sure we were in town that day. Delivery came but was only partial. Tracking says it was delivered. Called store & delivery service. Now have to wait another day to even reschedule delivery for item they didn't bring. Very disappointed in delivery service. Hope furniture is worth it.

Terrible service, waited for 2 days all day for the delivery just to have to call them to find out why it wasn’t delivered. You’d think after spending money in their store you’d have enough courtesy to at least call the customer telling them it wouldn’t be delivered instead of the customer calling you. Extremely disappointed in the management of the platteville division. Oh and to add on to it all said it will be delivered on Monday which seems to not be the case another day down no furniture.

Sales member was very polite and I got exactly what I wanted, I did go with the zero percent interest plan they have now. The process was quick and smooth. Unfortunately, what I my purchase was back ordered. Only by two weeks, but looking forward to receive my new purchase.

Walked in to look at a Memory Foam that was on deal. Allowed myself to be upsold on something 2x the price which qualified it for the warranty. Sold! Go to pay and then Im told I have to buy a mattress protector $100 more to qualify for the warranty..What? How does that not come into the conversation when you inquire about the warranty? Well we can finance it for you...No I had a budget, I will take my business elsewhere. We walked out.

We had purchased here in the past and had fair experiences. Last time, no delivery was set up when we ordered, even though we paid for delivery. We ended up having to wait a decent amount of time after our furniture was ready due to this error. We went in recently to purchase a new couch and forgot to measure the one we went with (100% our error, we should have meausred.) We called to ask for the measurement and were told sure no problem. Got a call back stating that the measurement online was wrong and we were given one that was nearly 40 inches less than what the website said. Not trusting this, we went in again to measure ourselves only to discover that the size online was, in fact, correct. Not sure how someone can measure 40 inches too short. We decided to change the order and were told it would be at least 8 weeks for delivery. When discussing looking around, we were fairly rudely told we wouldn't find a better price or delivery elsewhere. We did, in fact, find a better price in Dubuque and have delivery within a week. Not sure if we will return or not unless it is out of sheer convenience.

Lori has been more than accommodating. Lori has gone above and beyond to try and get me a refund back from something I no longer wanted. They just got a new system, so it has taken longer than anticipated. However, she has shown me how serious she is about getting my refund and reaching out to multiple individuals trying to get it figured out. Even though it may be taking longer than anticipated, Lori has effectively communicated with me about the complications they are having. She has kept me in the loop with updates, cc’d me in on emails, and showed me how much she cares about her customers by staying on top of this. It has been frustrating not getting my refund right away, but this is out of her control and she has showed me that she is doing what she can to get it figured out. Lori has truly been amazing throughout this process.

I’m giving them three stars because I LOVE Ashley and their furniture. The team at this particular location just doesn’t know how to get information and ended up being talked down to by them. I didn’t feel respected at all by Lori or Kurt. Very disappointing experience considering all other experiences at multiple locations were nothing but spectacular and efficient. I would try to go to any other location but this one for your needs.

Bought a bedset , headboard and the most comfortable mattress ever, the staff let me make myself at home and lay on different types of mattresses till I found the one that was just right for me and it was delivered also I would definitely recommend Ashley home store and would go back

I strayed from here to buy from Wayfair and regretted it! I spent more money on a livingroom set AND the quality is dreadful! I still love the furniture I bought here in 2009 and it is holding up great. I won’t make that mistake again! I am so excited to be getting my new mattress and adjustable base next week. I bought a mattress from John about a year ago, and I had no idea about mattresses. So John in Platteville gave me all the information I needed and helped me pick out the right mattress for me. He was very kind and helpful the entire time I was there. I strongly recommend going here and seeing John to help you out. You won't be disappointed!

Where are all the employees?!?!? I walked in the store and three employees looked at me with disgust because they judged me on my age. No hellos. No how may I help you. Just avoidance. I spent 15+ minutes walking around THE ENTIRE store trying to find a couch, an accent chair, coffee tables, end tables and decorative art. I actually did find a 3 piece table set I like but again, I. Could. Not. Find. An. Employee. To. Help. Me. In addition they have a birds nest in the ceiling above their bedroom section. If they can’t keep birds out it just tells you something about the quality of their store.

Very pushy

Last summer (2017) I purchased a Mattress and headboard from Ashley Furniture! Best purchase ever for my new apartment. Then a few weeks later - I was diagnosed with brain cancer. I had to move back in with my parents to recover from surgery. I called Ashley and spoke with Brad Davis who arranged for that new bed to be picked up and returned. His heartfelt compassion was overwhelming!! Now that I have recovered - I am moving into another apartment and needed another bed! Without hesitation - I went to see Brad at Ashley!! He did not disappoint!! He is a true asset to Ashley!!

I had never went into a furniture store before, thinking they are just trying to make money - like dealerships. Well I needed a box spring for my daughters room asap. So my husband and I went to Ashley Furniture store last night, close to 8pm looking for a twin box spring only. Brad Davis had helped me find one at a really good price, and told me about all the other good furniture there is in the clearance area (for future reference). He didn't pressure me into any sales or anything, he was just a truly good honest salesman. Brad even went above and beyond! When we couldn't get the box spring to fit in my SUV, he got it to fit in his. He offered to follow us home, and it was lucky he lived in the same town. We couldn't have asked for a better person to help us out, and give us such a good 1st impression. Just because of Brad doing all of that for us, we will definitely be back to this store! We will make sure he is the one helping us out for any future purchases.

The sales people do not pounce on you, and will give you a chance to look. I have had a few simply just give me their business card. I appreciate that contact. We have bought furniture from here multiple times. Most recently we needed a recliner I could sleep in after surgery. The staff was wonderful at taking the time to show us options and get us exactly what we needed within the timeframe we were looking at. We would buy from here again.

Tad Martin was our "furniture consultant" for our visit to Ashley Furniture in Platteville. We bought a very comfortable recliner armchair which we are very pleased with. Tad was incredibly helpful, super relaxed, and only fed us information when he felt absolutely necessary. He didn't push us at all or make us feel uncomfortable in any way. When we are buying furniture again, I will most definitely seek Tad again for his assistance. Ashley Furniture was also very nice. Impressed with all their products. The atmosphere was great too: beautiful in store design and decor. I will definitely go back to Ashley's when we need to buy again.

Our experience at Ashley Furniture Home Store was excellent! We weren't bombarded with sales people which we think is great, but when a salesperson did approach she was amazing; Lora Brown. She listened to what we were looking for and what was in our price range. She also was more than a salesperson; Lora is a grandmother of all boys so she took every opportunity to have a granddaughter for the day, our daughter started getting fussy so Lora held her and made her laugh while we looked around at many options. My fiancé and I came in to purchase new furniture for the first time. The beginning of the process when I came in to pick out some options with Kanya was good, came back to purchase and Lori helped us, which was also good. We were told two weeks for delivery which turned into six and weren't contacted to update on the progress of our order. Then we weren't given an option on time frame for delivery so I had to take a day off of work for a delivery time between 10-1, right in the middle of the day. The delivery guys, Ben Murphy and AJ Bauer were kind, courteous and took their time to be careful with the furniture and my walls. All things considered, I like supporting a Wisconsin based company and would shop here again.

Lora provided outstanding service, taking as much time as we needed to answer our questions and did a great job making suggestions that we never would have thought of. We ended up buying a full living room sectional with 2 end tables and matching coffee table. We will definitely be going back when we start redecorating the kitchen and dining room.

Yesterday I worked with Lora Brown from Ashley Furniture of Platteville and I could not have been any more pleased with my experience!! My husband and I went to the Platteville store to look for items for our new home. We have visited the stores in both Dubuque and Prairie du Chien and never purchased a thing. They weren't as inviting or welcoming there. We were very pleased with the way the store in Platteville looked and the customer service was spot on! We enjoyed working with Lori. She is very friendly and great at her job. There was no pressure to buy just friendly service if we needed help. We were allowed to browse on our own and showed a few suggestions after asking some questions. We ended up ordering furniture, a bed and a rug for 3rooms...to be delivered in a few months when the house is ready. The whole staff has a great sense of humor, are very easy going and are very knowledgeable in what they do. I would definitely recommend this store to all who need anything for their home.

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley Furniture in Platteville. Lori was able to get me a great deal on the couch and recliner I bought! She was extremely helpful and kind! I did not own any furniture before purchasing the couch and recliner and she knew I was sitting on my floor & knowing that it would be a couple weeks before they were in she even offered to let me use one of her personal bean bag chairs! I didn't take her up on this offer, but thought it was extremely nice of her. My daughter and I went to the Platteville,WI store to look at dressers. We were greeted by a salesman named Brad. He showed us all of the dressers that were available.We appreciated that he then gave us some time to discuss our options. He was not a pushy salesman at all. The whole experience was great and we will be customers in the future as well! We did select a dresser we wanted and were given the option to get financing there. The application for financing was short and painless. We would like to thank Brad for the great experience.

My husband and I stopped in to see if they had a replacement cord for our reclining couch. Kurt Volkmann went in the storage room and found a cord and was very generous. We had been pricing mattresses and Kurt explained they had a new showroom, so he took us there and we decided to purchase two with financing. During the paperwork process, my husband saw a bed set that stood out for our home. In the end, Kurt helped us with great pricing and financing. We can't wait to get our home looking as well as their showroom. LOL

We went to Platteville, Wis. & was just looking at beautiful furniture. Bill led me to a beautiful bedroom set and suggested that we get it. I told him we really didn't need a new bedroom set, but Bill won out and we purchased the set from Al who was very patient with us and helped us out. I "love" our new bedroom set. Our old set went up to the guest bedroom, and the set from that room went to Bill's grandson.who earned it, as he helped change all this furniture around. Thanks Al. Peggy S.

Worst customer service in the game. We have been lied to repeatedly, pressured to buy damaged furniture rather than the full priced furniture we were looking at, and treated poorly over the phone when calling to ask about the status of our order. Will not shop here again.

Excellent service. Working with Associates such as Brad Davis has been a pleasure. He has constantly gone beyond expectation to find deals that can fit my budget, and has been able to surprise me with excellent merchandise that exceeds what I had originally planned to purchase. I furnished my apartment almost exclusively with Ashley Furniture, and make them my first choice when I am looking for new merchandise.

We purchased a bed in November. Our salesperson Kurt showed us all the different models and explained how they were constructed. We chose a bed and he assured us that if it didn't work out they had a 120 day comfort guarantee. Well about couple months later the bed wasn't what we were looking for. We went back and Kurt swapped it out for a different one no questions asked!! You will not find better customer service anywhere. Another thing their prices on beds were 10 to 15 percent cheaper than the Dubuque location. The same exact bed in Dubuque was $400.00 more. It's worth the extra drive to Platteville. Ask for Kurt or any of the helpful sales staff. You will NOT be disappointed!! Thanks again Kurt. I will be sending everyone I know to see you!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! We bought a complete set, couch, loveseat and recliner from them in November of 2014, had it delivered in December of 2014. The items were nothing like we had looked at in the store. The cushions weren't very firm and after a few months, were pretty much non existent. My parents had to sit on blankets in order to be able to get up from the furniture. We called and had the cushions replaced under the warranty. These cushions were replaced in December of 2015 and within a few months the same problem happened. We called and they said that it was no longer under warranty and we would have to pay to have them fixed. My husband wrote an email to them and they did have their service guy come and take a look at them to see what parts were needed. He even said to my daughter "I think I have been here before." She told him that he had just been here the end of the year to replace the cushions. He told her how ridiculous it was the shape they were in since that time. Today we get a call and they told us the cushions that we need to order, the price to have them replaced and how much their rate is for labor! Are you kidding me??? They are not going to replace these without charging us, this is an ongoing problem that has never been resolved! Their customer service sucks! I have had to call them numerous times without getting a return call back. Spend your hard earned money at another company that truly appreciates your business and will work with you to resolve the problem, should one arise. I will NEVER EVER STEP IN ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN!

This place is awful. We ordered a bed from them. 1st off, the charged us and then 2 weeks later said they needed to charge us again because they forgot to put the payment in which messed up our finances and they did nothing to mend the situation for us. Then when we received the bed the footboard was broken, so they said they would replace it 2 weeks later and after the two weeks they called and said the replacement was broken as well and that it would be another two weeks until we could get a new one. The people at the store were constantly rude and did absolutely nothing to help us except saying "it's not our fault". I will never purchase anything from there again and highly discourage others to give them business.

We bought a dining room table here along with another items. It was a discontinued item marked down. We arranged for pick up due to us wanting ASAP and saving the $55 delivery fee. Thought we could make it a trip worthwhile and do other shopping in town considering it was an hour one way to there. Due to a recent major surgery I requested and was told staff would load my truck if I was there by 3:30. I was and upon them loading it I was assured all items was inspected. When the table was unloaded into our home it was discovered that clearly a fork lift had damaged the table. Clearly meaning the two tines on a fork lift put two holes into the box. Upon opening the box the table was broken and unusable. When I called the store about replacement of table I was connected to the store manager. Who was extremely rude, did not understand the meaning of customer service, and unwilling to work with us to correct the problem. His continuous statement was “ since you got the table at a discounted price, you should return the table for another and eat the extra time and fuel due to the second trip to the store.” To me this would be the same as buying a new vehicle at sale price and with rebates only to blow the motor up on the way home because the company forgot to put the oil in. But because of the money saved when buying it, you should purchase a new motor and be happy about it??? This along with many other rude and unprofessional statements made by the store manager. We remained calm and professional in our conversation with this representative of Ashley furniture. The end result was us returning the table at our cost and time. We was offered a $50 gift card for Ashley Furniture upon our return. My opinion about the $50 card was so we would have to spend MORE money at this store to use the card. More of my money in their pocket. Not going to happen. I can’t say enough how disappointed we are with this store and the management running it. I assumed because it was a furniture store that only sold furniture, then the product and service world be specific and above stores such as Wal Mart, Menards, ect. who sell more than just furniture. Make one customer happy and he tells 2 others, make one customer unhappy and he will tell 100, I’m shooting for at least 200!
