Had what I wanted and deliver on he date I wanted

Parents went into store and bought a good amount of furniture. Wrong dining room set was delivered. Multiple attempts were made for assistance but they don’t disclose the managers name and when you go into the store the manager hides and employees say he’s not available. If I don’t hear back soon I’m going to the media and consulting an attorney. DO NOT BUY HERE. Update a month later. No one has reached out.

Mr. Jim was AMAZING & took the time to explain the features of the different mattresses before we chose our 1st Tempur pedic. We were able to get additional discounts for our new bedroom set. Thank you so much for the great service

They work on a commission, and they try their hardest to get every penny they can. I found a 3 piece living room set i liked and they said it was $6000, I looked up on Google and a third party was selling it for $4000, which was the exact same set from Ashley. They gave the same awnser as all salesmen, "let me talk to my manager". They came down to $5500. I live in Pheonix and I ordered from the third party in NY and they offered free shipping. When the delivery guys showed up, I asked them where they worked and they said the Avondale Ashleys in Phoenix. Do not go to an Ashley's showroom, unless you want to look at it before you buy from a 3rd party.

As soon as we walked in the door the salesman followed us then when we went to purchase our mattress we had to wait bc they didn’t have it listed in their inventory even though it was on the floor and finally we had to wait for delivery of our chair ok fine we choose a day that fits our schedule and when that day came nothing and when I called to check it was changed to some other day that doesn’t fit our schedule with no notice email text or phone call. I have bought from them before and it was not this bad. I guess lesson learned and buy what is on the floor and don’t wait for delivery.

Bought a couch there paid delivery and was supposed to get a gift card due to promotion. They don’t tell you Delivery time frames are beyond ridiculous take a whole day off 7am to 5pm . To reschedule would be month out. Just had to get it delivered by a third party company because of how awful their delivery was. Then Never got my gift card and they want to act like that wasn’t a promotion they know about . I’ll never shop there again issues with everything and scammy. When I was calling to complain no one knew anything and manager was barely available. Left waiting for any resolution. they try to avoid facing complaining customers no call backs like they claim they will.

Quickly greeted at the door and shown the selection I was looking for. Efficient order placement and except for the drive to the warehouse for pickup (which is out of the way) it was a flawless purchase.

Not happy with experience I purchased a rug and after a month it was never shipped when I asked if a store had one the Avondale store said they did I drove down to pick up and when I arrived they had a used dirty rug not happy with this whole purchase which is disappointing as all of my previous experiences have been great

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The customer service in store was decent. It was until we received our order that this company started to show their true colors. We received our $1500 bed set with a tear on the head board and the foot board was not the correct size for a king size. I let the person who delivered that I did not want to accept the bed as is and they got me in touch with someone who told me I’d be getting a replacement and to allow 72 hours for processing. It has now been 3 weeks and I have not heard back. I’ve called multiple times requesting an update (there has been none) and all they can say is “I will note the case.” Save yourself a couple thousand dollars and a headache and just go to American Warehouse a few miles away near the Cardinals Stadium instead. I didn’t find out they had the same exact furniture there for HALF THE PRICE until after I started looking for another bed since this one came broken. I will never shop at any Ashely store again.

Customer service was great

Warehouse pick up is a joke. Picked up one chair and it was broken. Trying to get a replacement, another joke of a process. Was informed that we would hear from someone in 72 hours, it has been 96 hours and still no response.

We felt comfortable while looking around, we did not feel pressured. We feel that once we selected our purchase, we were treated with respect, all aspects of sale was explained to us and our sales rep, Luis, took the time to guide us through our purchase and make sure we understood everything

Friendly staff (our seller was Del), but no one in the store picks up the phone. I called four times and no one answered the phone. They told me and my husband our items will be delivered June 12th and June 28th (outdoor set and bedroom set, respectively ), but now our order has been rescheduled to July 12th without anyone notifying us. I wish they paid more attention to details.

My dad and I went in looking for a couch and a mattress. We had the nicest man help us find what we were looking for! His name is Jim and he was such a delight. Very talkative, and he had a wonderful mickey mouse shirt on! He was very helpful and it was an easy time getting everything we needed. It was probably the quickest furniture trip we've ever taken! Would go back to have Jim help us again!

I purchased what I thought was a good mattress by a reputable company- Stearns & Foster. The Studio medium euro pillow top. When I lay down, I feel the springs in the mattress poking me. Certain that this was not supposed to feel like that I called Ashley’s. Explained the problem. They sent a person who measured for a dip in the 1 month old mattress. After I explained to the technician, the problem was not a dip! The problem is the springs in the mattress obviously not covered or padded properly. The technician would not press or lay on the mattress to feel the springs. He said unless there is a 1 1/2” dip measurement in the mattress there was nothing he could do but report his findings. After a couple of weeks I called back, they sent another guy, he did the same measure technique, the 2 month old mattress measured 1” but it has to be 1 1/12” … he also said “he hated to inform me that my comfort was not part of the warranty”. Today, 6/2/25, I called Ashley’s again. I spoke with Jess, he looked up the records and basically tried to blow me off, I asked for his manager and he said I would get the same results from him and I should expect an email within 72hrs. At this point I’m so disappointed with the mattress, Ashley’s and Stearns & Foster!!! All I want is a good night sleep on a comfortable mattress that I’m not constantly trying to adjust my body to find a comfortable spot. If something isn’t done about this I will be contacting the consumer protection office, and BBB. I will never buy anything else from Ashley’s furniture. Poor customer service

Sale Representative was very courteous, knew the product and was super friendly. Her willingness to help answer questions was amazing. I felt no pressure to purchase and was comfortable in the purchase.

Received my piece today and it was not assembled. I specifically asked the salesman at Ashley If it would come assembled because I wanted that. He said yes it would! Showed up today in a box. I contacted Shelly customer service and they said I could hire someone locally to come assemble it!! Not ok! They were no help at all!! I will never order from Ashley again as they have no desire to make good on any mistakes they’ve made or wrong information their salesman gives out!

I was looking for an additional chest that didn’t look like a drawer unit for a bedroom. Within a few minutes Luis showed me exactly what I asked for and I proceeded to buy it. Quick and easy purchase for me. Thank you Luis!

My sales rep was very helpful and very pleasant trying to to locate a lamp I was looking for. Ended up going with a different lamp and purchasing it. the reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because if the lamp doesn’t look right, you can’t return it. I know it’s going to look good and therefore went ahead with the purchase.

Although our salesman spoke of the protection plan he never mentioned the cost. Honestly the way he described it I assumed it was free. It was my mistake to not review the itemized bill before I completed the transaction. At home when reviewing the receipt I realized that I paid over $350 for plan. I would not have bought it. I wish I could get that money back.🥺

This store can be hot or cold. you can be inundated with so many associates. Asking if you need help, to no one helping at all. My husband and I went in to purchase some patio furniture. We were not greeted by anyone when we entered. We found the patio furniture had a few questions, but nobody was around to ask. I did find a good deal in some placemats which I wound up buying. The issue was purchasing the placemats. Since we could not find an associate, we went to the service counter. The associate at the service counter could not check us out and that a sales associate could. She had a call for someone to come back to the desk to help us. Needless to say for a fifteen dollar purchase, we spent twenty five minutes checking out. my husband and I felt like we were a waist of time for such a small purchase. the worst part was, we had to follow her around the store to different areas to get receipts for what we purchased. She wasn't able to do everything at the customer service desk. It's ridiculous that you can't go a service desk to be checked out for a small purchases and than for it to take 25 minutes. We were thanked by another associate, as we left for stopping in. Then for them to say, we hope we can help you find something in the future. We went to American Furniture after we left.

Purchased an outdoor sofa and table and were told everything was in stock at time of purchase. Original delivery date was rescheduled because sofa was not there...2nd and 3rd delivery dates also rescheduled for same reason. We have taken off work each and every time!! Customer service doesn't do anything except give the same excuses over and over. This is the 4th time being told our sofa is due in today and the warehouse needs 3 days for inspection. Sounds like a bait and switch!

Went in looking for something specific. I know what I need and exactly what I am looking for. The sales rep was super annoying by following us around and not letting my family have a moment to speak about the selections of couches. I was so annoyed by this sales rep, I left without purchasing from this location. I decided to immediately go to the Ashley in Peoria and purchase my couch. I will not go back to the Avondale location nor would I recommend anyone to go to this location. Thank you Bradley from Peoria for being so awesome and listening to your customer.

Had a great experience picking out furniture. Luis was awesome! He was able to break everything down, and I was in and out the door, which was very important. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I was happy with Manuel at first but he seemed to press me towards a more expensive item. But then he helped me find what I needed. He turned out to be a really nice salesman. Thank you for training your people to respect their customers wishes.

I went to the Ashley retail location on Dysart. The Sales Representative we had, Erick, is phenomenal with his client care and active listening skills for client likes including going and finding items that would match our decor style. This would have been a 5 star review because of Erick, however, it is a one star review due to the store manager. The store manager who didn’t disclose his name stated they do not accept Synchrony Home Credit Card, only Ashley Credit Card through synchrony, same bank! We were offered a credit line with ACIMA Leasing. Contract is like a purchase from Aaron’s type of financing with payments debited out of a checking account. We have a great great line with Synchrony Home. No way, should anyone have to settle. Literally walked across the little side street to Lina Home Furniture. I asked right away do you accept Synchrony Home Credit Card? The answer was yes. Our sales representative name was Eric spelled without the k. He offered the same type of client care that Erick did at Ashley. We didn’t miss out on the quality care. Come to find out for the same pricing we would have spent at Ashley that we spent at Lina Home Furniture, we got what we wanted custom made. Almost same exact price with a five year warranty on our custom made furniture with our colors and fabric we chose. The home delivery including setup and installation with trash removal $189. The 5 year warranty $199 that even if you move homes the warranty is still valid. Lina Home Furniture located on Dysart wants a client to return. Ashley furniture store, if you have their credit card is probably a wonderful experience. No reason to choose a leasing option with extreme interest APR’s is not an option or a good experience. Ashley Furniture store manager should accept other options for payment like especially from the same bank they do business with. Lost out on a great purchase opportunity including a chance to have a return client.

Beware, they post inconspicuous little notices throughout the store about their NO RETURN POLICY. Then the sales people don't mention it. After your purchase they staple a CYA statement to your receipt.

Found Erik Sanchez to be a good salesman helping us return the lamps we purchased. Did find your customer service lacking; hard to understand, and no follow through. Problem with the shades being creased and wrinkled. We ended up bringing the lamps back to the store ourselves in order to get satisfaction. We returned the lamps on4/2/25 and were promised full refund. To this date we still have not seen the return deposited to our credit card. How long does it take!!!

Yikes! The shopping experience you DON’T WANT! Immediately entering the store my friend and I were asked if we needed help, appreciated, we answered we just wanted time to browse, UNAPPRECIATED we were followed from one corner of the store to the other! This is the kind of the sales tactics that rush me OUT OF a store. We bought the MINIMUM of what we needed, followed along by ANOTHER salesperson (doubled trying to get us to buy more, uggg) and just wanted to hustle out. Double whack by the delivery being told they could be dropped off with no signature and the person on the phone saying thats not true and that now being the new issue.

Do not i repeat do not buy their warranty.. save your money if you can go somewhere else don't associate with businesses that sell you a warranty and do not honor it. Warranty people are rude and they will come with any excuse to blame the buyer up to the point of just wear and tear. It all sounds good in a catalog trust me is a way to keep your money. I went to ashley furniture regarding an issue they said they change warranty companies now but for what??? now i'm the one paying the price tag again. Furniture is not build with good quality save your money again once is bought they are rude at the store as well as offshore warranty representatives.. horrible experience.

Terrible customer service!! We have an Ashley Credit card which I wanted to use to take advantage of the no interest. We moved into a new home needing 3 bedroom, living room, and dining room furniture. Ashley had collections I liked. Our daughter is closing on her home this Friday and I was going to purchase some of her furniture. I was greeted at the front door and an older gentleman started to assist. It went downhill from there. Two Associates were unwilling to check online or call another store to check display inventory of a bedroom set. I would like to see what I wanted to purchase. I was told that I could check online myself. It wasn’t busy in the store. I was one of 4 other customers shopping. I asked to speak to the store manager who was just speaking to another associate in the sleep center. He sent a lead to speak with me. Unwillingness throughout the store to provide service. They hang out at the front door like vultures talking to each other. I had to approach and ask another question. We went next door to Lina furniture and they had a display of one piece of the bedroom set I wanted to see from Ashley. I ended up ordering the set from Lina. Had service been better at Ashley, I would have purchased there. No one wants to go over and above an inch unless you are purchasing and they will get their commission. I furnished my first home with Ashley, but due to the poor service at this store, I am closing my Ashley account and going elsewhere.

So six years ago my wife and I came to this location interested in buying a couch. We walked around for maybe 10 minutes not one sales person acknowledged us the whole time we were there. Fast forward today and again not one sales person acknowledged us again. One sales person just looked at me flashed me a smile but kept walking. One sales person looked at my wife but never once said or asked if she needed help with anything. We decided to walk out and he finally acknowledged us but we were already pissed it happened to us again at the Dysart location we just left letting them know we were prepared to spend cash but we just walked out. Turns out it's happened to multiple customers. Need better customer service even if someone is not gonna buy anything they can at least ask if we're doing ok or if we need anything.. If you want actual good service head over to Lina.

I would not even post a 1 star they do not deserve it. Horrible customer service. We bought what we thought would be new. We picked it up from the warehouse and when we got home and opened the box it came in it was damaged n the corner. We immediately called Ashley and they make you jump through hoops just to get anything type of service. They sent a technician out to repair the door that was damaged and they didn’t even have on his work order to fix the repair that we complained about which was the damaged corner. The tech was telling us the policy for Ashley, but I explained to him that any other furniture store when there is a damage on their end they replace it immediately, but Ashley doesn’t so Buyer beware. I have spent thousands of dollars at this furniture store and I will never in my life spend with them again. I am going to post the before picture that shows the damages and the after pictures that looks just as bad as the before picture the first two pictures is the damage. The last two pictures is supposedly the repair of the tech did. This furniture store definitely needs to do better. I am so disappointed in them I will never spend my heart earned money with this company ever again.

Found exactly what we were looking for. It is a quality sofa and in the color we were looking for. Woukd have paid full price, but luckily, it was on clearance, and we got it half off.

Great store with great service

My husband and I came into the store weeks ago. Chair finally deliver today, and has a large stain on it. I called the help .# as directed. The first call I could not understand the person on the help line. I had to call back. A technician needs to be sent. Cannot happen until 2.14. I will not be home. I am less than happy with this Ashley delivery. We hand our whole house with Ashley and never had such poor results.

Great sales experience with Luis Burkhart from the Avondale, AZ store. Very personable and helpful. Haven’t received the furniture piece yet, so can’t comment on quality & delivery, so no photo provided.

The classic furnitures are gone, replaced by something new and different.

I purchased a bedroom set and living room set from this location. They were supposed to be delivered separately because they could not get them both in at the same time. Now they’re telling me my second delivery is for pick up only. I tried to reach out to my salesman. I have called 22 times to the store Left three messages. Been put on hold or hung up on the remainder of the times. I have emailed called the customer service line. In fact, one of the times that I called was to add items to my second delivery. You can’t even buy furniture from these people.

The sales person was good. I was pleased by the price so I bought it. The next day I decided to go a different direction so I called to cancel my order and have my money refunded. WOW, did I start down a road of disappointment. When you call, you can’t really reach the store. You reach customer service that has no clue of what is going on. They couldn’t find my order by phone number or even the order number. I was able to convince the csr to contact the store, which they did and I was then able to speak to someone directly at the store. I was informed my order would be cancelled and I should be contacted and receive my refund in three or four business days. After three days of not hearing anything, I contacted customer service again. This time even customer service couldn’t reach the store. I finally went to the store and talked to someone face to face. I was informed my order was now canceled and my money would be refunded. I’m being patient because I still have not received my refund.

The new beds and nightstands I bought at Ashley look beautiful in my new home and were a great value. The delivery crew set it up quickly around my existing mattress and frames.

Tried to buy 3 items off shelf. When paid it charged $99 shipping. 15 minutes and no one capable of fixing. The one who could was busy BS’ing. Transaction that should take 5 minutes ended up taking over 30!! Horrible customer service.

Holy cow. Talk about a company that clearly doesn’t want your money. Found a couch I absolutely loved at a store near the football stadium, but they were missing one piece. So I popped in here to see if they had something similar, I was blown away when I realized they had the exact same couch! But it was twice the price! I asked if they price matched and he said they thought they did. And then he came back and said because it was such a large price difference they couldn’t, but they could give us 10% off. Did I mention that the couch at the other store was an Ashley furniture couch? Why the big price discrepancy? We’re literally talking $2000 compared to $4000. Save yourself time and loads of money, check out another store before you buy anything here.

Their customer service leaves much to be desired. Felt like all the sales associates were just standing around staring at us. We ended up making a purchase just because the item was half off, but we seemed to be bothering them when we did so.

We went to look at a new couch and other furniture and have always used Ashley ( have an account w them ) today … I have to park in handicap as I’m a disabled retired first responder… as I pulled my 80k suv ( which my mother bought me prior to her death in Aug of this year ) I heard a crunch … the parking paver in front of the store was turned on its side and did damage to my plastic splitter under the front of my car .. had that not been turn on its side this wouldn’t have occurred as I’ve parked many places w no issues .. very disappointing because we actually like their furniture!!!

We went to the Avondale location and Guillermo was very helpful and friendly! We really enjoyed our visit. Her was very knowledgeable and approachable! We loved the products, we got a sectional and a dining set which he took the time to show us all their products and give us an overview of them! Shout outs to him and the rest of the staff!

We purchased a reclining loveseat. It arrived wrinkled on the right seat , the middle section and the back of the sofa. the delivery man said that customer service would be able to help. I should have had them take the recliner back but silly me signed for it. We have purchased most of our furniture from lazboy and they stand behind everything they sell. Ashley’s Customer service sent someone out who told us it would get wrinkled with use. He moved the stuffing around to make the wrinkled area more puffy which he felt was sufficient. It was not because the leather was still wrinkled and it looked used. We will go back to la-z-boy because they stand behind their furniture and replace anything with an imperfection.

The sales representative Carlos did everything we expected. He was available but not intrusive and rate his service as 5 stars. It’s much too early to comment on the sofa we purchased but at this point it was a much better option than what we found at other furniture stores. Hopefully, the quality of the product is as good as our initial experience with Ashley was.

Ordered wall decor and was told it would be shipped to me at no cost. It was shipped to the warehouse and is still not even transferred to the store or to my house. I was told I can pick up from the warehouse. I would’ve just paid shipping and had it sent to my house. I am unable to get in touch with anyone to help me. Worst customer service.

Over promised under delivered and was a nightmare getting someone in the United states to assist with our issues. Their customer service is outsourced overseas absolutely horrible customer service. Product never arrived when promised and excuses were always made. I have been an Ashley customer for years and now we will never return. Just a horrible experience on every facet Sales, Customer service, administration you name it we had the problem. Stop outsourcing calls we bought from a store in the United States and we expect to deal with someone without a language barrier. Never got items we paid cash for and kept postponing delivery date we finally had enough and demanded a refund and that was a nightmare. Could write a book about this but I will end here.

I went in looking for a new sectional and came out with a new sectional. They had so many great deal to choose from that it took at least 2-3 hours before I made my final decision. The staff was overall friendly and did not pressure me to make a purchase as well. They were patient through the whole process and I'd definitely do business with them again.

We purchased expensive patio furniture. The chair was put together wrong and missing a main part, and my daughter fell through it hurting her back. They brought out a new chair. I noticed the couch had a piece that was bowed out. The tech came out and explained that pieces were missing and it was not put together correctly. He checked our other chair that was loose and it had a screw missing and was not put together correctly. At what point will they make this right? We are so disappointed.

Customer Service is very horrible they will tell you any thing to make you happy. I was also hung up on twice. I had to ask for a manager five times in order to talk to one person was refusing me from speaking to a manager. I’ve been calling them back-and-forth since 9 o’clock this morning. I called the Avondale location. They do not answer their phone, so I am very fed up. I will not recommend this place because they play with your items. The absolute worst furniture buying experience that I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else. They’ll tell you they have it in stock, and then call you a couple of days before delivery and say it’s not available yet. They lost over 2K in sales from me because I cancelled the rest of my order. Did buy a Serta mattress and adjustable base from them but I only allowed that to deliver because I was desperate to have a bed again that night. Thankfully it’s not their brand so I don’t have to deal with them anymore. The sales person and delivery crew were very nice and I feel sorry for them working at such a screwed up company. Already got my other new stuff from a competitor less than 48 hours after ordering!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. First off we were told that our delivery included full assembly of all furniture purchased. Nope wrong if it came direct ship they do not put it it together. I left a bad review and corperate asked how to make this right. I said i just want not broken parts when I was told i would get them. Mind you i placed this order on May 25th. Orders started coming to our house no email to say hey this got delivered. On June 8th we got our stuff delivered. They did not help us with assembly. Also an item was damaged. We reached out did an exchange was advised it would be here 06.29. Comfirmed that night 06.29 item is on backorder. I am taking time off of work to be at my home and now its back on back order. I go to the store and ask for assistance partial refund something because i have this huge box that no one came to get in waiting for my exchange. Is anyone helping me no. They get 0 stars for customer service. Buyer beware.

Worst experience ever in a furniture store. We placed the order on mid May so we could have everything delivered by June 5th. Well, it's June 26th and I still don't have all my items delivered. I placed orders with other furniture stores at the same time and Ashley's has beem the worst. I'm never buying from them again. First time they tried to deliver, their items were out of stock for half of the items, second time around, the chair was broken, waiting for the third time which I'm still waiting for them to call me to set a delivery time.

I am only adding that one of extra star to make two stars because the staff was nice at the Avondale location. So I purchased a new bed room set on 5/28/24 and picked it up at the warehouse the next day on the 29th with no problem. The problem came when my son and I put it together, we noticed that the metal box spring (M98X42) was absolutely manufactured wrong. Although quite disappointed, it only got worst (for the crook in my right neck sleeping situation) when I reported it to Ashley Service and sent pictures proving it, l was assigned a technician to show up nine (9) days later. He showed up and politely took his shoes off respectfully and went up stairs. I helped him remove my new king size mattress, and I came back downstairs. He was upstairs making sounds of metal moving around for a little over 20 minutes until I went back up and he let me know that the frame was manufactured wrong and that it’ll be another 7 days to order the parts to correct it! Now I can’t get any from the store to answer my call even through they’re screening calls for the store “service department “! I Just don’t understand all of this having to wait to use my new bed when I should have been able to return it immediately for one that was manufactured correctly…

Not happy with contact with people from warehouse or calls from other people from Ashley. Order furniture at school with Jose delivery date set for May 14th by third party to my new home. Contacted by warehouse and phone by operations department that my order will be delivered on May 25th because to warehouse and store for me to pickup. Jose set up third party the items. The next day I contacted . Other calls from operators department and warehouse I explained my comments to them about what Sales department told me and that they don't understand. I ask the store check when items will be at the warehouse on computer shows items will be coming on Tues May 14th. I stated so please have driver pickup items at warehouse and store for delivery on May 15th. This morning received other call and missing stating that I will need to pickup items at store and warehouse. Frustrated with this issue your company processes. Hopefully my items that I ordered will be coming on May 15th 2024 Wednesday.

Ordered a loveseat online early April. Was given a delivery date of April 24. This immediately kept changing from April 28 to May 1 to May 7. I called and they said it was in the warehouse on April 28 but they were back logged on deliveries. I explained that I needed my order and I would come pick up at the warehouse but then the next person tells me it is on back order but it will definitely be delivered on May 14. I requested my delivery fees be refunded but they said they could only offer me $25 or $50 off my next purchase. No thank you, cancel my order and refund my money. Oh we have not received any payment yet, umm, yes you did. So they tell me to contact my bank. I did! My bank showed the transaction and advised I call them back. I call back and tell them I’m not getting off the phone until my refund is issued. Transfer to financial services, and they immediately issue my refund. Funds were back in my account the next day. Same day I go online to Mor Furniture and find the exact loveseat, $100 cheaper and in stock. Purchased it immediately and chose to pickup my order next day. Two hours later I get phone call from Mor offering me free delivery because they will be in my area. The delivery window was 10am-2pm. My loveseat was delivered promptly and professionally at 10am. Save yourself a headache and go to Mor Furniture and leave Ashley behind. I’ll never purchase from Ashley Furniture ever again! —- Patricia G

Reason I put 2 * was because Delivery service was good at first . They had put all the furniture in the rooms and I also had a computer desk which they said they would build last. Long story short they didn't but I got them before they left and when I told them one of them got off the truck pissed off slamming things and boxes I almost told him to leave and call his boss . Lucky him I don't have time to build that desk so I left it at that but just writing this so anyone in management can see and call him out on it

Jim went out of his way to make our three toddler girls laugh and found us a better deal that what we were looking for. I want to give them more stars, however - the lack of VITAL information was not shared. The furniture piece I ordered is on back order. This was disclosed… the day prior to expected delivery. We now must find replacement / temporary furniture to sit on for 2 + weeks. This would have been great to know when we purchased. Also…. Some of the staff members need to attend DE&I training. Calling adult women ‘GIRLS’ stopped being acceptable in the 1980’s.

This company is a joke! Paid for a table in full and they’ve changed my delivery day 4x’s. I took off work and made arrangements every time and they don’t show!! Will never ever buy from them again!! TRASH!!!!!!!

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, WASTE YOUR TIME, AND NOT DELIVER! We spent 2 hours working with Jim to buy a couch. Credit where credit is due, he knows the products and is a dedicated sales professional who cares about making sure the customer chooses the right option for their needs. He said we would take delivery for a $2,000 couch on 4/5/2024. We paid (in full) for the item, plus taxes, warranty, and shipping on top of that. We were happy to do it. I wish I could end this review here and give Ashley 5 stars, but the past 2 weeks have been a train wreck with this order process. We get calls about delays in shipping, and then we had to call back to make sure they would actually deliver on time. Then they said they would honor the delivery time. We got texts the DAY BEFORE delivery stating that they would be able to deliver on time. Cool right? Today (day of delivery) we get a text saying they can't make it. Not a phone call. A freaking text. Yeah, wayyy less cool. Apparently, the owners/managers/goblins running this place don't know or care about customer service or keeping promises. We asked for our money back on the spot. But I can't get my time back. And I'm not talking about the two hours spent in the store, but about the 2 weeks waiting for delivery and the 8+ hours with people on the phone to get them to do what they said they would do. Save yourself the trouble and get your furniture somewhere else. I wish I had.

This was our first experience at an Ashley store. The in-store experience was fine. It was after the purchase had been completed that we were told we had to go to a warehouse 10 miles away to get our furniture. We had to wait over an hour to get our things, seemingly due to the understaffing at the warehouse. We won’t be going to Ashley again.

Ashley’s use to be my favorite furniture store. We have purchased a complete new house of furniture from this company but no more. I had just purchased a $2,300 sectional couch , picked it up and loved it in my home. Then 3 days later I purchased 2 abstract paintings went to pick them up the next day which is a 30 minute drive from the store and 59 minute drive from our home only to be told that our purchase was cancelled. After 35 minutes or so of backs and forth with a Cust Svc agent over the phone I finally got in touch with the store and after 30 minutes on hold and back and forth I was told that the order was cancelled because I owed money from a previous purchase of a couch which was done through a finance company progressive. I asked, well I do not owe you are progressive any money because I just started a new lease with them on some tires for my car so it could not be them. I asked for my money back they said they would not give it back that would have to be from the home office and that I cannot ever purchase anything from Ashley’s again. So I called my bank explained that I purchased an item from a store and have my receipt, the store cancelled this purchase and I have paperwork to show it and they are not refunding my money. My bank gave me my money back, are investigating Ashley’s business practice and I will never shop at Ashley’s furniture again. And will post this everywhere to make sure others will do the same…

The store closes at 8 and we were outside at 7:30, the old cotton hair gentleman came near the door and just made hand gestured at us that they were closed and signaling us “no” that was so disrespectful the least he could have done is open the door and let us know their policy or rules it’s not like we were going to run in as soon as he opened the door he clearly has no customer service skills or human decency who even does that? Definitely should not be working in customer service he clearly has no patience or energy to handle customers. Luckily Cesar did come open the door minutes after and explained to us that they lock the doors 30 mins before closing for security which is understandable and we appreciated him explaining that to us he was very helpful and informative all we needed was to go look at 1 couch in person and leave. Nevertheless that old man needs to get a different job

After mentioning twice that I just wanted to be left alone to look, one gentleman quite literally followed me around the store, telling me prices of things that I was reading these sales people are more annoying than mosquitoes, and they don’t listen. First, I want to say that my actual shopping experience and interaction with the show room was good. I would have rated it 4 stars. If I didn't consider the pick up process and experience. But since this is a WHOLE experience. I have to give a 1 star and I would love for Management to reach out to me. My husband went to the warehouse to pick up my purchase. After waiting some time he was informed that there had been another customer who had also purchased these items and they took too many boxes. They were bringing them back and for that reason my order couldn't be picked up. They attempted to have my husband come back another day. He refused because one he's a trucker and not in town everyday and two his time is valuable. 4 hours later the other customer brought back the items and the employee told my husband that the reason they took too many is because they are Mexican and can't read. I don't have to tell you how inappropriate that was and thank goodness at that time my son was in the truck and not beside his dad! This is not only unprofessional but also hints at an inventory control issue. How is it possible that someone accidentally takes units that they didn't pay for? This will be the absolute last time I ever do business with a company that not only allows racist behavior like this but poor accountability and overall horrible customer service. The wait due to business isn't an issue. The wait because of an error like this is unacceptable.

Victoria, now she is nice but I felt pressured to finance. I went in and told her days prior I wanted to pay cash. She kept trying to convince me to finance. I refused. She suggested I just apply, but I refused and left because I was not ready to purchase at the moment. I go back to make my purchase and she is still insisting I apply. I told her I wanted to pay cash but eventually I was convinced because “no interest for 90 days” or something like that. So I said wTh Ill work OT and pay it off in payments. What I am pissed about is the fact that they didn't mention a huge fee for financing. I went into the portal ti pay my balance and I see a purchase fee of $131.00!!! This is not cool especially because I felt pressured to do the damn financing and look at me now smh. The whole process to even get the furniture is a joke. I am very disappointed in them.

Went to look at rugs at the store. Sales man ordered one for me online. When I picked up from the warehouse it was a completely different color. Tried to call the store to explain, receptionist said I can just go back to the warehouse and return it. I asked to return at the store so I could show them the comparison of the color so that they could see they are selling 2 different colors yet the description and color on the label is the same. Receptionist told me manager is not agreeing for me to return at the store. Called warehouse and they told me Ashley needs to approve return first. Told receptionist this and she said she will speak to the manager. Then she tells me it will take 24 hours for approval. I tell her I need to return the rug today and asked to speak to the manager. She said the manager is busy right now. I said I’ll hold, she said the manager is busy at the moment. I said I don’t care, I’m a customer, I want to speak to the manager. She hangs up on me… Called back, same receptionist, asked for manger to call me back. She said he will. 2 hours pass by and no call back. I call back and she said they are processing the 24 hour return and I need to wait for approval. I don’t usually shop at Ashley Furniture store as I know they have so many delays. After this experience, I will never shop at this store again. It’s so sad that a manger can’t step away for 5 mins to attend to a customer complaint since he’s too busy trying to make a sale. I guess it’s just all about the money lol If there was fan option for 0, that would be my rating.

I'm very disappointed. I was told my chair would be a rocking recliner, just like in the store. We got it home and it doesn't rock. In store, we were told they don't accept returns.

Very difficult to negotiate prices. I felt like I was at a used car lot. They have prices advertised but then say it was only a 1 day sale and try to get you to pay full price. They give you a contract real quick hoping you dont notice the price. Thankfully we had taken a picture of the price, showed them the screen shot, they honored it, finally after a manager got involved. What should have taken less than 30min took well over an hour, just like a car lot. They also like to push extended warranties too, be wary when dealing with the sales staff. The furniture is nice as long as you get a good price. VERY PUSHY!

I been a repetitive customer of Ashley. My mistake was that even knowing of the bad quality they were delivering to me. And the many times I didn't acept the merchandise because of the damage. I went back and bought again this 3rd time I spent just over 7k . Bought a tempur pedic king mattress. that Was defective. We were sinking to deep in it. Aurelia the sales lady. Mentioned that we were her 2 customer complaining about the same problem. Ashley exchanged for a different one. That is harder than a concrete bed. I call directly to tempur pedic. They said Ashley can do a 2nd exchange. And we asked Aurelia again and this time a manager was involved (johnnie) he said he was going to help us once he came back from a training in Texas. Now 3 months after. We are having back and shoulders problems. And never heard back from anyone of them. This in Ashley furniture store in Avondale AZ

My delivery was at 3 to 7 and they called me. They were here at 9:30. I had to leave work. Jimm helped us with the purchase . However never followed thru with the order and they never let me know when my things were ready to be picked up. Also nobody ever picks up the phone at the store or with the “representative”. Really bad experience over all. Definitely would recomend to look for a different furniture store.

I just moved from Ohio on October 6th to Laveen AZ and needed to furnish by apartment. I chose Ashley Home Store Avondale, so glad I did. Luis was my sales person he was awesome. He was patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and very wise with helping me pick out what was needed. He listened, he suggested, but was not pushy at all. He took his time, allowing me to make up my mind when needed. Great experience for me.

Purchased a cabinet to put behind our sofa. Our sales associate, Ms Murphy, was very courteous and helpful. Five stars for her. Our cabinet has not been delivered yet so no comment there.

Mixed feelings. Furniture is okay. Service was great in the store. Needed to use our warranty 3 times this year and the company they contract with takes a long time. Weeks to a month to get tech out assuming you can get them on the phone. They track your claim pretty shabbily too. When they do show up, they then order the part (trusting they do because they didn't on one claim that is going on 3 months now)...they leave and then it's weeks for the part assuming it was ordered. Then you have to call them AGAIN. FEW MORE WEEKS...while we sit with broken furniture.

Another update: Received response email and they keep referring to this as an inconvenience. Giving out someone's personal information including home address is illegal, it is a huge safety and security risk. This is not the inconvenience of forgetting to give me a receipt. Went into the store to get cancelation confirmation as proof the order was canceled. Spoke to the manager on duty, Caesar who took ZERO responsibility. First, he blamed the finance company even after I showed him multiple times that it came from them and included their store logo at the top. The finance company would NEVER use their logo. His next scapegoat was hackers. Yes, hackers. He said with technology people can hack in and do this kind of stuff. A hacker is NOT going to hack a company's system to simply send out personal information to other customers l!! Seriously, hackers are in it to gain something and it is NOT to mix up emails. It disgusts me that this person is in charge of anything especially obtaining personal information about people. They printed out the cancelation and handed it to us. We asked for it to be emailed so we had an electronic copy to send to the finance company and when we received it, we found the worker sent it from HER PERSONAL email account!! So now, in her personal account she has our email address as well!!! No one and I do mean NO one is doing a darn thing about this. They are allowing this to continue on. I was told the regional manager was aware and would reach out to discuss this issue but nope, not one word from the regional manager either. Yes, we have filed this with various authorities including the BBB, attorney General and several other places. My next step is the local news media so more people can see what they are doing. Udate: Sent email to no avail. They ignore that as well and I submitted the proof that they did this!!!! Horrible customer service!!! A stranger reached out because she received an email for delivery confirmation of MY order. She provided me with a screenshot showing she had MY FULL information!!! Yes, FULL information including MY home address, name, phone number and confirmation number!!! No one and I do mean NO ONE wants to fix the issue/discuss this issue that THEY created.The safety concerns this brings up is BEYOND measure!!!!
