Don’t shop here. Bought a couch a couple of weeks ago that was in stock. Had to delay the delivery a couple of weeks. Told me they would save it on the warehouse. Went to schedule the delivery and told they sold my couch I paid for and I would have to wait 12 weeks. What very poor customer service. Will never shop here again.
Basically a bunch of used car sales men in there offering you very confusing "deals" I originally went in because of a special they were having 60 mo no interest.. sounds great. But then they recommend a mattress to me and I like it and want to buy it and now all of a sudden they can't do the special on this mattress because it was already on special and they can't double up on offers which I understand but I made it very clear I was wanting the 60 months no interest.. it was just a bad experience over all and then the delivery date was so far out and when they did come to deliver our furniture the guys were wearing masks at first but then apparently they felt since they were hot it was ok to take them off and proceed to heavily breathe all over my apartment. (Because they were out of breath from bringing up the furniture) I was just really grossed out by that tbh. Like I'm sorry you're hot but hello we are in the middle of a pandemic.
Laurie was so great and answered all of the questions me and my husband had! If and when I come back for more I will be shopping with her again!
I brought my father-in-law in to purchase furniture for his new house. We ended spending all day there and was not pleased at all with how long it took. Then two days later we had to go back because they decided they were going to change his delivery date without even discussing it with him. I'm not sure if I will be a return customer after this experience.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience today at Ashley HomeStore in Avondale! Omar and Mark truly went above and beyond to assist me with my new purchase and provided me a better deal than other furniture stores! Before finalizing a purchase anywhere else, I would definitely recommend you check with them first!
I purchased this table less than a year ago along with the insurance they offered me claiming that if anything that was to happen to the table, it was going to be covered. However, my claim was denied because" this" is not covered by the warranty. Ashley furniture is pricey. I purchased the insurance because i have kids and i knew that eventually something was going to happen to it. I lost my job and all the money I was making, I used it towards the payments. Now to find out that I am jobless and with this ugly/defective table...and of course the owners dont care.. all they care is about their money. This is so frustrating. So disappointed. This was the first purchase I ever made there and will never waste a penny there.
Yo I'm not going to lie, I went in trying to get a good deal on a furniture set for my new place. Make the right choice and ask for JT at the front desk, he was amazing, He not only helped me find the best deal on the set that I liked but he listened to the style i wanted and found bedroom accessories that complimented my choice. My lady loved what I brought home and sent me back for a kitchen set. Definitely recommend this location. Ask for JT!
Friendly atmosphere and great customer service!
Went to buy a dining room set. Knew what we wanted by shopping online. Wanted to see it personally before purchasing. Sales associate told us to look around while he checked to see if it was available. Didn't show us the product first. We found it and he disappeared talking to other people. Took almost an hour to pay for something that we knew we wanted.
Ordered a Gabinwell Bookcase May 1st. Received it May 6. Glass doors were broken. Returned the package back to sender. Called to find out when I would get a replacement. They said I would get a call back within 72 hrs. It is now May 29 and i have yet to hear back. Went to the Ashley's on Dysart. They said they cant do anything for me. So disappointing at this time. Just want to cancel the order and they wont even let me do that . My first payment is due in 1 week. They want me to pay for something i have yet to receive. So upsetting . I wanted this to place my daughter Urn and personal stuff in. So this makes it worse. Will never purchase from them again.
I went in on Sunday, and Mark helped me find a bed i wanted for my daughter. Instantaneously Mark came off EXTREMELY used car sales-like. He tried telling me that he'd give me a deal and he'd see what he can do for me..I returned the next day to buy the bed and met Isaac. Isaac was THE WORST! He made me feel like I was getting something for free! Like my business didn't matter, like I wasn't about to spend a few grand on a kids bedroom set. I feel like McDonalds has better customer service than them. When I finally told him I wasn't going to buy the bed HOPING he'd shift his attitude, he threw his hands up and said "Oh Well".. WHAT!!?? No salesmanship, no manners, and I also spoke to the manager who tried to off me "a deal".. I never knew Ashley's was a shady furniture store.. it's unfortunate that I'll be taking my business somewhere else. As I walked out, I made sure to tell Mark my frustrations specifically with Isaac. I'm sorry, I'm not one to write bad reviews, but I feel during these times, human connection and empathy is extremely important, and the desire to want to sell to keep your job and show your wealth is important. I wouldn't hire these guys.
Worse place to ever buy your furniture!! My mother bought an entire bed set with Ashley’s furniture and when we got home and unpacked the two night stands they smelled horrible and where very dirty from the inside.. we called and they said we would have to leave the drawers open to air out for two weeks ! It’s been a month and the smell is still there. Do not buy your furniture with Ashley’s because they are not helpful !!!!
This location and Jose G. Did and amazing job with helping my boyfriend and I finding a living room set and bedroom set that fit our needs and style perfectly! We are so excited to have them delivered for we can enjoy them! Pricing was great and their set options are amazingly priced as well.
I was so excited for Memorial day deals. I was approved for the credit card and went down to get a mattress. The sales man told me the bed I chose was a piece of $%&#. He said it wont last and they have seen nothing but returns. He wanted me to buy a 4000 temperpedic. I went to the manager and asked why they are selling Ashley brand mattresses if they are pieces of %$#@? He said they were great and they hadn't had any returns. I didnt purchase it in the end scared the sales rep may be honest. But more likely he wanted more commission. Funny as I was leaving I said thanks for letting me know that mattress was a peice of sh$%. He smiled and said it was my easure. Hahaha. I wouldnt buy a throw blanket there and will just let my credit card expire for no use. What a joke! John Parker.
With the current situation of covid 19 this business doesn't feel safe.
I received great service in the store from Guillermo & the Manager Gerardo. However, when I tried to change the delivery date, it became a nightmare. I called the store & was on hold for over 28 minutes. Their on hold message suggests a live chat, so I did that...twice. So after approximately 1 hour, I was finally able to change the delivery date!
CHECK PRICES BEFORE YOU SIGN TRUTHFULLY WOULD HAVE NEVER GOT IF I FULLY READ THE CONTRACT I KNOW IT WAS MY FAULT BUT BE AWARE WHAT THEY TELL YOU IN THE STORE IS NOT THE SAME AS THE PRICE IN YOUR CONTRACT......
This is a great place to buy furniture. We worked with Elizabeth and Omar who literally bent over backwards to help us with our purchase(s). We will definitely be going back there for more items as we recently bought a new home in the area and will be needing more things.
