Glen was very easy to talk to about furniture in mind, was very patient and had a great sense of humor in conversing with us.Management acknowledged seeing us shopping around day before and was very Courteous and grateful for our business! I will definitely comeback.
We walked into the store and at first no one helped us, but then Dean met us and was VERY courteous and helpful with any questions we had. He was also apologetic about no one helping us. Then he introduced us to Angela! She was even more helpful! We fully enjoyed our shopping experience at the Gilbert Ashley store! 🤩🤩🤩
Terrible Customer Service Experience My husband and I purchased a green table from Ashley’s and opted to pick it up ourselves to avoid the delivery fee. However, when we got home and opened the package, we discovered the color was incorrect. We immediately contacted customer service and escalated the issue via email to a manager. We also called the store twice, only to be hung up on the first time. On the second attempt, we finally got through to Angela, the sales rep who helped us initially. Unfortunately, Angela denied that we had ordered the green table, which was extremely upsetting since we had confirmed the color with her more than three times during our purchase. Angela’s attitude was shockingly unprofessional—she refused to take accountability for the mistake and dismissed my husband by saying management would call us back. It has been over an hour, and we still have not received a response. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, and we will never shop at Ashley’s again due to their lack of accountability and poor customer service.
We received a dresser from Ashley that was obviously damaged and repaired prior to delivery. After discussing with Ashley and providing pictures that this was damaged beyond repair, they insist on sending a technician to fix it and evaluate if we qualify for a replacement. The whole customer service experience after sale has been unacceptable. I don't recommend Ashley given the quality and follow-up to resolve our issue.
I had an exceptionally great experience with Tristan at the Ashley Store in Chandler. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for and was so very polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store. Ask for Tristan, he is AMAZING!!!

So I must start by saying that I have purchased items from this store years ago and no, it’s not what It used to be. I walked in store looking for a outdoor set when I met Zachary. Of coarse every seller is super pushy in this store. He was not an exception. However, he did a great job in helping me finding the right set. He was super nice and helped me figure out the best size for my balcony. After all the paperwork I finally decided to purchase the outdoor set and I also the warranty for 5 years. The nightmare started when they delivered the set. I paid for these guys to mount the set and remove all the boxes. They came over in a rush mounted it and scratched all of it in the process. They left all the mess in my patio and my neighbor came to complain to my door. I called the warranty and it only covers repair so basically they agreed to paint over a 1,000 dollar scratched chairs. The person in charge of the repair came over a few days after the delivery and then left for personal reasons without doing the repair. I ended up with a brand new scratched furniture and nails, screws, boxes, trash in my backyard. There is absolutely no returns allowed in this store now I know why. I’ve purchased from other stores such as Living Spaces and I haven’t got any issues at all. I learned my lesson the hard way.

They treat you like family here, several times the manager (I’m sorry I’m forgetting her name but so sweet, and fabulous outfit lol) checked in on us and even offered to help with the baby. So rare to find good genuine service like this. Highly recommend this store!
I purchased a couch and a chair for a business. I was told that there's no possible way to have a time frame arranged for delivery and that if the time frame doesn't accommodate our business hours I could just push back that delivery for another day until I get a time frame that we need. When Monday of delivery day came I was given a time frame that only gave us a 30 minute window to fit our business hours. Since there was no option to reschedule from the text message confirmation I call the number provided. The person on the phone was trying to persuade me into allowing delivery anyway because they are "known to be early". Long story short, im still waiting for this furniture. Its been weeks. I tried to call the store where i made the putchase but the automated service does not allow me to enter my phone number for the verification of sale, and because I'm always around other, I did not want to speak my personal phone number for security purposes. It has been a terrible experience. The saleswoman from the Ashley store where I made the purchase reached out to me after hours on her personal time trying to resolve the issue and I appreciate that very much. I don't think that the store or the sales members are responsible for this. I was very well taken care of. They were terrific at assisting me and were not pushy in any way. I do, however, wish that the delivery service could be improved. There seems to be lack in communication and this shouldn't fall on the customer. Hope to receive the furniture I ordered.

We buy a king mattress in the store and after a few weeks we start to smell very strong bad smell. Contact the Ashley store and say direct us to the warranty department. That decide that the bad smell is not part of the mattress spec and they would not replace it. So I don’t suggest to buy there at less not the mattress. We did send the all required information end even one of the employees from the warranty department come and confirm that there is a bad smell but still get mail that their is no spec for the bad smell and we will net get any support.
The furniture selection fit what we were looking for, but it was the sales person Zach that sealed the deal for us! He was helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly, genuine.

Both pieces of furniture were delivered with varying amounts of damage. Customer service was a nightmare to work with, hard to get ahold of and extremely slow to respond. It has been 3 months since my purchase and I still do not have all the parts that I need to make one of my pieces fully usable.
Service was INCREDIBLE. They did more than they needed. Everything was substantial, idk how they do it!!!!
Horrible experience. Bedroom set delayed by supply chain but not told about delays. Then the deliver was very inflexible and couldn’t put bed together correctly. Delivery people had difficulty communicating in English. Then we got out last dresser and it was damaged. Not great.
Ordered thousands of $ furniture & some were cheaply made & the bed collapsed the 1st day.. called the Mgr before while crew was installing bed & told him that it looked cheaply made... 1st night it collapsed
Extremely disappointed! I ordered my furniture in July and here it is November. I received a partial delivery but still haven’t received the rest. All it get are calls and emails telling me it’s been delayed once again. So I had no choice but to cancel it and get a refund.
Our sales associate was helpful and knowledgable at the store but the day we received the furniture and did not like it in our home, we immediately reached out the same day and her tone changed immediately. Our sales associate already had her sale and had no interest in helping us resolve our concerns. We’re stuck with a $5000 couch we don’t like. We waited for the item for six weeks which was another disappointing aspect. I will not purchase from here again. The furniture itself is a leather sectional and the pieces come apart every two days every time someone sits on them. Very unhappy with the purchase and experience after the fact.
I will never shop here again. They didn't have the product in the store but I was shown a color it would be and told I could return it if I didn't like it. Upon receiving the table its not close to that color I was shown. Now I was told they don't accept returns because of the color.
The worst furniture store i have ever dealt with!!!! Delivered the wrong furniture to m Mothers assisted living. I called right away. No assistance what so ever for 13 days, as I now sit in the store waiting to talk to someone in person. I will NEVER EVER buy any piece of furniture at Ashley again!!! BEWARE!!!
My husband and I recently went to this Ashley store and purchased several items. Angela was wonderful to work with and gave great recommendations and told us to text her if we have any issues...however she does not always respond and several times calling the store we get no answer. The communication at this location is horrendous! We bought a new bedroom furniture set, mattress and boxspring. We confirmed delivery except was told the two dressers and two nightstands were not going to be delivered with the bedframe and mattress, the customer service person could not tell me why or when it would be delivered. Then I get an email saying they won't be delivered until Nov 19! We purchased all of this in September. No one from the store called and told us that our items were on backorder!! And then the boxspring...well that was another issue in itself because the original one didn't fit the bedframe and they had to re-order it which took another two weeks. That day finally came around and I confirmed everything with the emails for delivery, missed half a days work because it was in the middle of the day and guess what...no boxspring got delivered! I texted Angela who was our sales person and no response, I called her and no response. I called the store and Sue told me that no delivery was scheduled and said she could get it to me the following week, ummm no! I asked her how to get it sooner and she said "well you could go pick it up at the warehouse" Excuse me!?!?!?! Absolutely the worst costumer service I have experienced from such a well known and higher end store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked for monetary compensation since I waited for hours and nothing happened! I drove to the store (Angela was working and didn't come say anything to me) and had to yell at them and tell them if my boxspring wasn't delivered the next day then they were going to come pick everything else up and refund me everything at no cost. The boxspring was finally delivered the next day by a third party service who then tried to have me pay him $100 for delivery fee. I had to call the store again and tell them absolutly not and they paid him. I would love to speak with someone from their corporate office as I am done dealing with the store level! I sent an email and still waiting for a response. Would love to know "who took care of my concerns" because that would be news to me!
I took a friend shopping as she was looking for very specific bar stools...certain height, certain comfort, certain color..Ashley was the 4th or 5th store...She found what she liked! Now, just have to coordinate delivery to a summer residence....
It’s no wonder why I get anxiety going into a furniture store like Ashley. From the moment we walked in, one of the reps was already harassing us like we just entered a car dealership. We were simply looking for inspiration on dining room sets and the same rep sought us out all the way in the back for his sales pitch. That strong of a presence is a great way to lose customers.
This place is horrible! DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!Not only they put the wrong address on the purchase order and didn’t deliver our furniture. They don’t return calls and nthey can’t deliver until next Friday. Worst experience ever! Ashley SUCKS! The manager never called back. This place is a total furniture store scam! Total BULLSHIT! The location in Tempe is so much better. This location is an embarrassment to Tje Ashley brand! It’s literally the worst location in the US!
I bought a bedroom suite at the beginning of July along with some other living room items. The promise of delivery was all of it within two weeks on two different delivery dates. I received misc items over three delivery dates and over 4 weeks with the same excuse everytime. " item is due in next week". It is now September 20th and my 6 drawer chest of drawers is still not here. Got my weekly call saying it would now be in in October. In the meantime I have turned my spare bed into my 2nd closet. Super inconvenient. It's clear what Ashley is doing. They are ordering items when they take our money and using our money interest free instead of paying interest and having it in stock. I requested that they come pick every item that I purchased and they told me I would have to go back into the store. It's obvious that customer service and prompt delivery are not a priority.

We purchased over $5,000 worth of furniture and received a warped, clearly old chest, tilted chairs and torn bed frame. We have yet to receive replacements for everything and it’s been almost 6 weeks. We were promised call backs, never happened. Every person we spoke with spoke poorly of the other departments, passing the blame. We were kind and patient and understanding in the beginning and now are receiving 0 answers! We had plans to furnish our brand new home with them but they lost a customer forever! GO TO ANOTHER STORE!
We came into Ashely looking for a couch and dining table, and Zach was super helpful! He went above and beyond to find us a table that wasn’t even on the show floor, but was exactly what we were looking for. He was kind, knowledgeable and made sure we got the best deal. Highly recommend asking for Zach!

Was met by Jerry at the door. He ask if I had been in before. Told him what I was looking for, he directed me to the area, showed me a few things. Then let me look for a while. Found what I wanted. Jerry completed the papers, explained everything to me. I was extreamley pleased with Jerry and customer service!

Highly recommend working with Nate. It was a very relaxing shopping experience, didn’t feel pressured to buy, he was great. I’m very picky and definitely not a fan of traditional style, so he showed me options that would fit my tastes. I really appreciated that when we came back even though he had two clients at the same time, he made sure to give time to each of us. Excited to get my new sectional.

Too many pushed back of our order(December 2023) when 1 item available now then waiting for other item, when that item comes other item not available. You need to call them for update status, they don’t call you! Cancel order. Never order again with this company. Keep in mind sales man don’t like it if you don’t add insurance with your purchase!

They back ordered our table set and told us it would take almost 2 months to deliver it. We cancelled the order and have been trying to get a refund for over 2 weeks. Keep telling us the submitted the refund but nothing has been credited back to us despite multiple calls and even going back to the store and speaking with the manager. Won't buy there again!
What started out as an amazing shopping experience quickly took a turn for the worst. Delivery dates were not met which sadly resulted in no furniture for a party that was scheduled a few weeks out on items that were supposed to be in-stock and immediately available. While it wasn't the end of the world and the party still went off, the team over at Ashley namely, Sam, really made sure we were taken care of. He was very sympathetic to the situation and did what he was able to for us. Because of this I will still be shopping at this location and hope that others have an even better experience. He truly is an advocate for his customers and goes above and beyond to rectify any issues you may encounter. 12/10 recommend people like Sam no matter how bad an initial outcome may be.

Drove 45 minutes to the store because website said the item was available at the store. Once there, was told it was available to view only - not to purchase. Then, when purchasing, was told it had to be delivered AND had to pay a $50 delivery fee. Ridiculous! If I was able to find the item elsewhere, I would never have purchased it at Ashley. That being said, the salesman was amazing - friendly, professional and APOLOGETIC about the misleading website and delivery fee that could not be waived.

I ordered a mirror to go with a bedroom set I wanted to buy and Randon took the order over the phone. Sadly, one part to the bedroom set is unobtainable so I had to cancel the mirror. Having a very hard time getting them to do warranty work my electric recliner broke which has a five year warranty and every time I call to complain they say someone will get back to you in 72 hours. I’m on my fourth call now.

He was that person who gave us the space to shop, while being readily available to answer any questions we had. Nothing about our experience was a hovered attempt to upsale an item or a sales pitch. Don Stubbs was excellent to work with! He very patiently accommodated us, along with friends & my mother, showing up more than once (The first time, a few glasses of wine into our evening, and right before closing) to check out multiple different sectionals. When our family & friends are together, it’s a bit like wrangling cats, so props to Don for keeping us on track and doing a wonderful job of consulting on the different products available, along with his knowledge about upholstery care, cleaning, and what to do if we discover that a particular piece doesn’t work in our space. We are very excited to receive our beautiful new living furniture later this week and I HIGHLY recommend you go visit Don when looking for your new furnishings. AAA+ service all around!

I went to Ashley with my grandson to look at beds since he's grown so tall and needs a new bed. I was greeted by Jaden D. I told him what we're looking for and he immediately showed us several different beds to accommodate my grandson. His professionalism and charm was outstanding. Jaden immediately knew what my grandson would like. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. This was by far the BEST customer service I have experienced by anyone. Thank you so much Jaden! I purchased some couches a while back and had some damage to them. Ashley Furniture dispatched their technician named Kevin to come out and fix the damage. Kevin was great to work with, not only did he let us watch but he also went above and beyond to repair the damage. He was meticulous and detail oriented which made me more comfortable knowing that it would be fixed correctly without any shortcuts. I am in the Chandler/Gilbert area. If possible, I highly recommend you request Kevin to come out. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable in his field.
Re: Ashley Furniture Gilbert AZ. After a couple of visits to a few stores I went to this store to order Living Room and Bedroom Furniture. I was very specific in what I wanted and very deliberate in communicating what I wanted to my sales person Audrey. I have no doubt that I clearly communicated what I was ordering. I went over the bedroom set a couple of times and even pointed out the coffee and end tables in a different area asking if they were the same color. Audrey assured me they were the same color and the only difference was the lighting. I was showed the discounts I was getting and given a total for everything I wanted. I made a quick attempt at negotiating but only was offered a $100 of my more than $10,000 purchase. Audrey ten proceeded to take my payment from my debit card drawing cash directly from my checking account. Unfortunately she hit my card twice for over $10,000. The store realized the mistake that evening but no one reached out to notify me of the EXTRA $10,000 THEY TOOK FROM MY ACCOUNT. I only realized two day later when I went to ZELLE money to the person who helped me clear out my furniture. I immediately called the store in Gilbert and Don " The Acting Manager" tole me he would make a call and get back with me in 10 to 15 minutes. Twenty Five minutes later I called the store back and was told Don had left. In amazement I asked where he went telling them he was working on a rather important issue for me and I was told he went to lunch. This starts the pattern of no-one calling me back. I was told the Store Manager was off. I was told they had to call corporate and then I was told corporate said the Store Manager would have to call me back in the morning when he was in............ Then my order arrived at my house...... when they were done setting up I asked where my coffee and end tables and my tall dresser where. I was told that that was all they had and they were a contracted delivery company, oh yes and by the way they told me how bad Ashely Furniture was..."Lots of troubles". Well.. now had had to call the store back again inquiring where the rest of my order was and I was told that is all I ordered...... I told the Lady on the phone what I had ordered and what was missing she was gong to try and help and would call me back... when she was hanging up I could hear her say " BOY SHE REALLY FUC&%$ THIS ONE UP. Once again no one called back. When I called back I was told I would have to talk to the Manager in the AM. When Ryan called me in the AM I relayed this lengthily story and he said he would have to discuss things with the Regional Manager and get back with me. the solution he offered after a day and a half was a 10% discount off of the items that were missing off of my order. He told me there was no mark up in his furniture and that was all they could do. I told him that I needed the stand up dresser and would be by to get it. We stopped by AMERICAN FURITURE WAREHAOUSE on the way to Ashley and found the same exact Dresser and entire Bedroom set for almost half the price of what I had paid. I called Ryan the Manager at Ashley and told him I was A.F. Warehouse and I was looking at the dresser he was charging me $900 and had no mark up in for and the price of $498 at A.F.W.. I asked if he price matched and if he would price match the order I had already received. I received a credit of $678 on the Bedroom Set he had no mark up in????? On a weekend that I should have been enjoying my new furniture and some Corn Beef and Cabbage I spent it trying to find my way through Ashley Furniture Hell and no one at Ashley seemed to care.....

Terrible service, double dipped my account for $10,000 discovered it the same day and never even notified me, mind you it was a debit card not a credit card. Four items promised not delivered. Lied to not called back and no one seemed to care. Was then offered a 10% discount on the items that were missing. I was told they were included in my total. I had to go to American Furniture Warehouse to force a Price Match to recover some of my losses. I clearly communicated what I wanted to purchase to Audrey, she gave me a total and I was looking forward to my furniture arriving when two day later I discovered the double dip on my account and received my order that was missing the coffee table and two end tables and a stand up dresser. Don took my call that afternoon , told me he would call me back in five or ten minutes. When I called back twenty five minutes later I was told he had gone to lunch. Ryan told me he reached out to Corporate and all he could do was a 10% discount on the missing items, they had no mark up in their furniture until I forced his hand on a price match....... One of the worst experiences of my life.......... Very unfortunate as I tried to make it a simple process getting all my needs at the same store...... P.U Ashley Furniture YOU STINK!!!!!

*****Buyer Beware************ Please Listen to me and don't buy a mattress from Ashley Furniture. We consumers work hard for our money and when we make a high revenue purchase, we make sure it has a warranty. You just never know when it might be needed. However, when the time comes when you have to actually use the Ashley warranty you will see how well they take care of the customer. Ashley Furniture was horrible; they have no problem sending you on a goose chase; calling the warranty place, then the manufacturer and then back to Ashley Furniture. Keep doing that for weeks will drive anybody crazy. Then when all else fails you call the GM at the Gilbert, AZ location and speak to the GM Don. He sounded like he was going to really help me out. It’s been 2 months and I’m still waiting for him to call me back. Then every time I call he tells the receptionist that he’s in a meeting. Manager Ryan is no better. The sad thing is I only wanted someone to look and service my bed/motor. I’m convinced that they want to avoid doing anything and hope the 3years of the warranty expires first! Avoid Ashley Furniture, you have been warned.

Store was great! Nice and clean and everyone we met was super helpful and nice. We spent maybe an hour in there, and really was indecisive but our salesman Calvin stuck with us. Sam the boss was helpful too! The GM Ryan greeted us as we walked in and even helped us through some of our questions on the paperwork.

Masmood was our sales representative, and when we found him to check out a set of plates to buy, not only did he not give us a big enough box, he watched us as we packed our own kitchenware into the box, after having to walk out of the store with a box and extra pieces of the set in our hands, by the time we got home one of our bowls were broken and could have been avoided if we were just given a bigger box.

For the most part it was good 👍 It took time to get the order done in the store and was told all items were available in the warehouse. Then the internet wasn’t working correctly so we were there for another 20 minutes dealing with this? Once our order came we did not get the correct pillows we asked for and two pieces of our order wasn’t delivered so we had no choice but to schedule again? I wound up canceling one item too. We are completely happy with our furniture but not happy with not getting exactly what we ordered and having to take two days off from work wasn’t good. Probably need to fix that?

We have been waiting for furniture today! No calls, no emails, no text messages. We just got off the phone with the company and mysteriously all the inventory was damaged??? The piece was supposed to arrive packed in a box! Now they are saying that it will be another week!!! Infuriating!

Purchased a piece of furniture from Ashley's in Gilbert. Had four in stock at warehouse according to salesperson and office personnel. We could not get a delivery til 11/24. They stated they would call prior to delivery along with a 4 hr. window. Waited for call all day (Black Friday) - no call no show. Store manager said "that's not her department". Additionally stated "I wasn't there so I don't know what was said" even though I was reading right off their invoice and point of sale materials. I was appalled by their lack of honesty and total incompetence. If I knew this going forward, my wife and I would have shopped elsewhere. Mistakes can happen but be honest enough to own up to it vs. trying to verbally insulate yourself from any blame. My advice - shop elsewhere.
Wow! This place has lights come on after night when you walk by the door, it’s really cool because the whole entire store lights up not just the front and it’s a gradient of light from front towards the rear. If you find yourself homeless and hopeless because the stupidity of the people in the community around there is a long bench under a small tree that gives a bit of shelter. No bugs and a clean cement bench with Starry Night skies above. Thanks to Ashley Furniture I had a bench to sleep on for two nights.

BIG FYI - Tried to return an item purchased online and they won't take "online" purchase returns at a local store. SO, I got a hold of return dept. online and they said I had to " Donate" the item to goodwill before they would issue a refund since the orig. box was damaged in shipping and could not be used to return the item. Overall a big hassle. No wonder I don't shop Ashley almost never (now NOT ever again).

There was an abundance of staff to assist. However, it was A LOT of paperwork just to order pillows. And then my transaction was not entered correctly so that prolonged my checkout even further. But, all members of the staff did their best to rectify the issue and apologized for the wait.

The furniture “protection” plans are a joke. If you are thinking of getting it (especially because you have pets) just don’t. We had two separate issues with a love seat and couch that we bought back in September of 2021 and they refused to cover either. They said they wouldn’t be able to cover our couch with a pet stain because it’s considered a “discoloration” not a stain. Which makes no sense. Second they wouldn’t cover the love seat that had a short in the wiring because we the first side we didn’t report within 30 days of noticing and they wouldn’t do anything for the second side untill we paid and got the whole problem fixed and had further issues after. Save your self the money and headache and just don’t get it.

Customer Service in Williams Field Rd, Gilbert is horrible. Took my brother there to buy bed and living room furniture, spent several thousands dollars cash and 3 weeks later still waiting for delivery. The first time they said the mattress delivery was holding everything thing up. “However the mattresses arrived to the warehouse that same morning” according to the sales person and front desk manager. Two weeks later they push out the delivery again with the same pathetic excuse they gave us the first time. Not acceptable! I can go on and on, just save yourself from drama and go to a different location!

We were greeted at the door. I had a screenshot of the dining room set that I was interested in. Ronald took me right to it, demonstrated how the butterfly leaf worked, answered all of my questions, gave me delivery options and we were ready to close the sale. It was seamless and stress free.

One star is too many...another terrible experience shopping at Ashley Furniture. It's been a few years and I figured since I was shopping in a different state things would be different. Unfortunately nothing has changed. I paid for and was promised "premium delivery" on several items but upon delivery, one item was still in a box. Was told by the delivery person that it was a "customer assemble" item. I should have not accepted the item but decided to keep it and contact the store for help. BIG MISTAKE! Two weeks later, countless phone calls to a ridiculous call center, calls to "customer service" after actually getting a real phone number, and another trip to the store, and the item is still in a box sitting in my house. My case has now been forwarded AGAIN to a "lead" somewhere in Arizona and again I've been promised a "call back soon". My advice to whomever is reading this is to ask questions about what you're buying, ask about delivery, assembly, return policy, everything before you buy anything at Ashley Furniture. Don't pay for anything until you know for sure what you are getting. I hope Ashley makes this right and either honors their premium delivery service by assembling the item in my home or picks up the item for return.
My wife and I returned to this location to purchase a specific living room set she had seen yesterday. As we walked in, we were greeted by a lady name Katherine and I believe her last name was Buck. Right off the bat she was rude. We had mentioned we had already been in and spoken with a very helpful associate but didn’t remember her name. Katherine responded “well it doesn’t matter who that was. There are only two of us here now and I will be the one helping you” We proceeded to tell her what we were looking for and she interrupted every sentence without letting us finish. I bit my tongue and didn’t say anything about her being so rude and we just walked off. She followed us around and we were still going to buy until she informed us there was a $320 delivery fee!!! I questioned it and she said “yea it is what it is. We have talked to our managers and they don’t care so take it or leave it”. So….we left it. We went to the other Ashley store and bought THE EXACT SAME SET PLUS AND EXTRA PIECE for $1600 LESS!! Not to mention the deliver was only $200… Katherine is a perfect example of horrible and rude customer service.

When he came home, I was literally disgusted when he told me that they would not take a check from him for his furniture, that he won’t even take possession of for a month, because the Address on his check doesn’t match the address on his License as he had already changed his License to our new address in San Tan and we are waiting on the Bank to send him new checks with the new address on them. He is just moving from Havasu! Remember, he told the “Manager” that he won’t even be having the furniture delivered for a month, and that was ample time for his check to clear! He is 67 years old, very sharp and is literally a Multi Millionaire having owned his own Real Estate Offices for 37 years! Are people really that stupid? We will NEVER give another penny to Ashley Furniture and I’m going to make sure an go out of my way, to make sure all my friends, family and Social Media contacts, never use Ashley furniture! These generations of brainless people are just worthless and scary to the future! Good luck with that one, as you just lost a TON of money and business!

I bought 3k dollars worth of couches at this store. They lied!!! I told them I wanted delivery and they said it was $40 and would drop off at my home inside. I find out that it's doorstep only. I call back to tell them that I need it inside my home. They then said that if they do not deliver it, the 1 year warranty is voided. The guy shows up today to tell me he can't promise not to damage my home. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE. I will NEVER go here again. Anytime you all it goes to another country where no one speaks English. To get ahold of someone in America or the actual store is like winning the lottery. DONT BUY HERE GO TO AMERICAN FURNITURE STORE!!! They sell the same for much lower. I know this due to price matching... RUNNNN don't go here!

As many others have said this place is a JOKE! Received broken furniture, had service appointment 3 weeks after delivery they confirmed it was broken(no joke) and that was in October 2022. Since then I've called weekly to get no action. In March I called AZ Attorney Generals office who immediately helped! If you are waiting for action stop wasting your time and call the AG... they get results!!
I have never been so disappointed in the quality of a piece of furniture. I purchased a couch and within the first two months had a issue with the fabric separating and pulling apart. I contacted customer service and they sent a technician out and he said it is normal and got a tool out to "shave" the couch. He stated that I should buy this tool on Amazon so I can continue to shave my couch when needed. The couch continues to look like trash and customer service says it is completely normal for someone to have to "shave" their couch. It is now past my manufacturers warranty but I did purchase the junk extended warranty and they seem to cover nothing either. I have been into the store to speak to the store manager Ryan and he was going to contact customer service for me and schedule another technician to come out to take a look at it. I had an appointment scheduled and they were supposed for follow up 24hrs prior to the appointment to nail down a time they would be here. No call, and no show the following day. This morning a "Customer service" person called to let me know nothing will be done about the couch under the manufacturer warranty or the extended warranty but I do have the option to PURCHASE more couch cushion covers, but the same thing will happen to them after using them. Buyer beware Ashley Furniture does not stand behind their product.
I came in looking for a mattress and frame. I was greeted my Bernadette. I explained to her what I was looking for and she gave me several choices. She was pushy at all—she gave me the space to pick what I wanted. This was one of easiest experiences I’ve had purchasing a mattress!

I would love to give this store rave reviews and if I had written this last Friday I would have. Unfortunately, now I can't. Purchased a king-size bed. Due to an acknowledged error on their end, a queen size bed was ordered and delivered. It has been a week and we can't get this resolved. According to our sales person and the office manager, they can't swap it until they are issued a credit from somewhere else. I would like the bed I paid for.

This store is SO over priced for last years styles. I walked in looking for recliners they we’re like 2500$ for 1 recliner. WHAT are you giving me gold? Everything is either brown or grey/beige I couldn’t walk out fast enough. It seems any Ashley I go in no matter what state, it’s ugly furniture. No thanks
Bernadette our saleswoman was very professional. I would purchase again because of her. The delivery side of things was a little different. They didn’t ask where we wanted the bed set up and left their trash on the floor for me to clean up. Overall still a good experience.

Looking for a new dining set and dropped by Ashley to check on their selection. They had a wide variety. What I appreciated most was the way the sales people treated us. They were helpful without being overbearing and they answered all of our questions professionally and politely. Ashley furniture lies and confuses you with a three card monte of discounts they talk about. Jacary showed us a discounted price for furniture on his iPad but it was only once we got home that we realize they offset the cost with a $400 protection policy that we explicitly told them we did not want. They refuse to refund the cost without offsetting the refund by taking back the discount on the furniture so it's not really a refund. Jacary talks a BIG game in the store about how he stands behind their furniture but be aware they have NO RETURNS POLICY for when you receive it and it's not the comfort or quality you saw in the show room.Their general customer service number tells you they can't do anything and that you need to call the store. When I called the store, I asked to speak to the manager Isaac. Isaac refused to speak to me because they were "busy" and they said he would call me between noon and one which did not happen. I had to go back to the store personally where they most certainly NOT busy and track down Jacary of Isaac who then refused to help. They told me that a return/refund of the furniture was not possible.PS - All the five star reviews (especially for Jacary) are suspect. He asks you to pull out your phone and post it in front of him when he's checking you out. Typical high pressure salesman stuff. Probably an effort to drown out reviews like mine.

Purchased a dining room set plus a few other items - Took 7 months to get the table in and chairs came in without legs - Finally after 8.5 months the order was complete. Here we are 2 months later and a large 16" crack has formed on the table. Table is under warranty but they are requiring me to pack up the old table and drive it to warehouse, pickup new table and reassemble it. I think after all this the LEAST they could do is deliver and setup. Called customer service at the store they refused to let me speak with a manager and kept hanging up on my calls. 5/11/23 - Call from the store stated they would deliver and setup a replacement table - Great to hear! Will update review when complete. 5/18/23 - Ashley came and replaced the table top - I think it took more effort than it should have but it's done and I appreciate that! Increased review

BUYER BEWARE I purchased a couch in March and waited until April for it to be delivered. About a week later, I noticed the back and the sides are just fabric wrapped around a 4x4, nothing under the fabric at all. If my granddaughter were to just up on the arm or the back, her feet would go right through the material. Horrible design! I guess $3000. doesn’t buy too much these days. The couch was not being used, so I called to return it, but they insisted on sending a tech out even though I told them it’s the design. No matter what it’s the procedure to send a tech out. He told me exactly what I already knew. It’s the design. Then, Customer Care calls me to tell me, “sorry, it’s the design. Can’t be returned” Do not buy anything from Ashley furniture without feeling the back and the sides of the furniture. Have them move things around so you can get to the back and the sides. I really feel ripped off and so disappointed in them. Do not make the same mistake! If you want something nice, shop somewhere else.
Don't even consider buying here. The furniture is poor quality and once you buy it they don't care about you. They have your money and that's all that matters to them. I though the name enough was reputable and I learned a hard lesson after purchasing a sectional.Go anywhere else and you'll find better quality and better customer care.

She was friendly and not pushing from the very beginning and was super helpful and truly listened to what we wanted. She gave us our space and let us shop and look at what was available. Most other stores we went to were so pushy and followed us everywhere and it made us feel uncomfortable. It was so easy just talking to Katie about the different options. If you're going into this location, I'd highly recommend asking for her! You will be in great hands!

I usually never do reviews. However, I recently stopped by to look for a new mattress that was recommended to me by a friend since mines super old and I just moved to this side of town. Even though the mattresses I was set on was out of stock. One associate named Mikey was more than happy to take the time and help me out with looking for other options and making sure my needs were met. I plan on coming back and honestly look forward to it if this is how good their staffing is. I’ve furniture shopped before at big stores like this but never have I felt listened to and taken care of like I did with Mikey. 100% recommend this location and that associate. Store was super clean and fresh. I was super pleased with my visit.

I’m giving 2 stars because the showroom and the salespeople are nice. However, I attempted to buy a sofa after speaking to a manager on the phone and was told that they would match their competitor’s price that was also selling the Ashley piece that I was looking at. When I was about to pay, I was told that they couldn’t get to that price. It’s surprising that consumers can purchase Ashley products at non-Ashley retailers for less money. Disappointing but at least I know where to go to get Ashley furniture for a much better value.
The sales person sold me furniture for 12567.45 I found the same furniture at a different store for 7842.37 and I purchased 2 extra dressers at that price. The sales lady called when I canceled the order and ask me to come it and she would lower the price. Are people so ignorant that you tried to steal form me and then want me to come back. Because of this experience I will never shop at Ashley Furniture. I own a company and it any of my employees tried something like that they would be fired. What’s sad it the manager was sitting there..

We have tried to purchase furniture from Ashley twice & both times it was a horrible experience. The sales person tell you yes we have it then you get a call saying it’s been delayed. The salesperson was not helpful at all I called him & he said “I am JUST a salesperson “ I will check into this and call you within an hour thanks for NO call Gregory Flynn. NEVER AGAIN with your company.

Do not buy on credit with them. They bank they use is so dishonest. Every time we make a payment they process it late to charge us late fees. I have paid a week early and still processed after the due date so they can get a late fee.
Word to the wise do not buy on credit with them. We have had nothing but issues with them. We purchased an item in September and it was defective. They said they are going to order a replacement part and we have been waiting for months now. We requested for a return or exchange and customer service says decision is up to the store manager but store says it’s out of their hands now. Basically we paid money for this item and we are getting nothing. Manager at the Gilbert store is very arrogant and not helpful at all. We had the worst experience ever. We would not recommend for anybody, wish I could give 0 stars. They don't deserve any stars. This is my first ever bad review on anything. Really I am not happy how they treated us. We visited the store many times and they put us hold on a call for many hours wasting lot of time. Even the time taken to post this review feels like a waste but people deserve to know.

My wife & I walked in here since we had 10 minutes to waste before the Ramen spot next door opened up for dinner. We let Bernadette (the friendly sales lady that approached us as we walked in) know that we were just browsing to see what deep highback sectionals they had (I'm 6'1 200lbs) & that we weren't looking to buy anything for a few months till we move into our new place. Even though we let her know we were just "browsing" she still walked around & showed us their largest sectionals. She showed us that one of their largest top of the line sectionals (The Castano) was on sale. My wife & I feel in love with how comfy it was, how it could fit our entire family on it easily & the color. Even though we didn't need it for a few months we bought it on the spot (added the 5 year warranty since we have kids & pets.) We couldn't pass up saving $1,650 with it on sale & how comfy it was. It fit me better than all the other sectionals I tried at LS or AFW (I'm not a fan of the low back style since I'm tall & don't like slouching super low to be able to rest my head on a cushion.) Bernadette made the whole process super easy & we scheduled to go pick it up ourselves with a U-Haul truck a couple days later. Thanks so much Bernadette & the 2 super helpful guys that helped me load it up to bring home.

Don't go here, their store sales is shady - commission based, so it's more like a car dealer who will slap on additional costs at checkout. Their delivery / install service is poor with delays and rude customer service. They miss some pieces of the package at delivery. The quality (no matter how much you spend) is sub-standard. When it comes to return, it takes an act of God to complete a return and pickup the broken frame. The overall experience leaves a sour taste in your mouth. Go to Norwood or Living Spaces. Living Spaces has better style at almost the same price Norwood is way more expensive and not as updated styles. Though, both can finish a deal without any drama and deliver quality products, not Ashley!
The only reason this store gets a 1 star is because of Angela being the most helpful. I had a problem with wrong furniture being delivered and was told by 2 different people in corporate that I could return. When I called the store the person who answered the phone(Brook), was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken with in my life. When I asked to speak with the store manager, she informed me that she could do more then, he could and refused to let me speak with him. Customer Service people should never be rude, totally unacceptable. I will NEVER SHOP ASHLEY again.

The shopping experience with Katie was great! But receiving the couch was awful. The guys that delivered our couch broke the couch. We watched it happen they knew they what they did and kept saying sorry. We called the store spoke with Ryan and got hung up on, then spoke with shayla with zero help. All you care about is your sales which I understand but if it’s your drivers mistake then you should take care of your customer. I paid for delivery but I didn’t pay for them to break it and then turn around to find out still won’t have couch for another week. No one called like they said they would. This company is just TRASH.

I have gone through the worst experience with this store and customer service. DO NOT buy anything from the store as they will charge $400 for shipping when Ashley furniture online store and other companies are offering free shipping. The company will not allow me to return an item that was not as described. Called the store twice and was told someone would call me back to return the item. Nobody called me back and had to call them for the 3rd time only for the store to tell me I can’t return the item. DO NOT buy anything from this or Ashley furniture in general. Other companies offer free shipping and a better customer experience. Terrible company!

I recently purchase furniture from Ashley in October. My shopping experience was great but when my furniture arrived in my home it was not as advertised on the showroom floor. The bed was taller than me but was not on the showroom floor. The bed was also put together and the handle for my drawers are broken and as well as issues with my dresser. I still have not heard back from the store and corporate regarding my purchase issues. As I had reported my issues less than 24 hours after receiving my furniture.

We have purchased most of our furniture from Ashley, over the years. We have always appreciated the quality, and the look – and we are very picky people! Employees are always wonderful, as are the delivery men. My only frustration is that sometimes getting help on the telephone is a little difficult, but when I am able to get someone immediately, they are always extremely helpful. We will always be Ashley customers.

Employees at this location are very helpful and friendly. However, we bought 2 desks, and both arrived damaged beyond repair. They shipped 2 more, and one was damaged beyond repair. They shipped a replacement, and its damaged beyond repair. We're waiting on our refund to process.

I wish I could’ve given this Gilbert location of Ashley Furniture five stars, because they worked with me on a price match… But then the salesperson was not honest with me re Delivery. The reason I paid the extra $180.00 Delivery Fee was because she informed me that the sleeper sofa would be in a box, it would need to be unpacked, and then certain components would need to be assembled. Not true! When they unloaded the piece from the truck, it was all in one piece, simply wrapped in plastic. (I took a pic of them rolling it up my walkway.) They then rolled it literally EIGHT (8) feet into the office, took off the plastic, and done! No unpacking and NO ASSEMBLY of any sleeper parts. As I had initially told the saleswoman, I can save that $180 and bring it in with a neighbor, but she provided said inaccurate info that steered me to not go with the Free Delivery option. Bottom Line: I do not like being BS’d!
I had a amazing experience working with Amber. She was so helpful, kind and patient. She went above and beyond to make this an easy and enjoyable experience. I had to make changes after I placed my order and she took the time to help me look at design layout options and what was in stock vs back ordered options. Overall, if you are in the market for furniture, ask for Amber. She is truly amazing!
Sooooo OVERPRICED! I bought a tempurpedic mattress here a few years ago & was blessed that it was on super sale & I absolutely love my tempurpedic & would not trade it for any other wannabe tempur-foam-type-mattress. I walked through the store & was looking for a tv stand & the one I was interested in had scratches all over the top of the wood & from far it looked nice & quality built but was cheap finish on it & wood was of terrible quality as it scratched very easily & again super overpriced on literally everything! Go to AFW if you want same quality for a reasonable price. 👍👍🤓

I would give them a zero star rating if I could. Received broken furniture and while they are all apologetic nothing gets resolved. I'm still sleeping on a mattress on the floor since the bed frame was broken. Their chat people are nice enough but resolve nothing. Departments don't communicate well and they are not responsive to resolve the problem. Stay away from Ashley Furniture.
I bought a dining table 2 years back. From the day I bought it nails have been falling off from the chairs and the wooden leg rest breaks whenever you sit on a chair and put your leg on them. The bench that came with the dining table is rickety. I have called them up from day one begging them to change. They only send me leg rests saying the rest of the set they cannot do anything about. One guy did come to look into it and said that he can only change the leg rest. Today I have got rid of the table and it pains to give almost 2k dollars like that. Be very careful with what you buy from this store. They refuse to entertain any complains and it turns out to be a huge loss of money. I have sworn never to buy any more furniture from them. I am not angry that the set was rickety. It happens. But the attitude of the customer care people and the way they refused to help. This could have been avoided and I don't have that kind of money to throw it away.

They seem to have a vast collection (+1 star), but I was quite disappointed in this location for the following reasons: 1. They wouldn't let us buy just the sofa we wanted. We had to purchase the sofa, the rug, the lamp, the side table, etc. Their prices are super inflated and having to buy all the extras bumped the cost even higher 2. Delivery was not available so we had to find a truck and rent a trailer. When we got there we were told their warehouse guy was off today so we had to disassemble the couch ourselves and carry it out on our own. The manager was kind enough to bring us a dolly but didn't help at all. We had to move their other furniture out of the way to get it out. All in all, a disappointing experience and we won't be shopping there again.
Wasn’t impressed with the layout or the inventory in the store. Went to Ashley’s looking for a queen bed for my 17 year old daughter. We were very disappointed with the inventory. I’ve bought many furniture items from Ashley’s in the past, but not this time.
Visited the store yesterday. Felt like we were prey being stalked by a hungry vulture. Could not stop and look at something without the salesman literally running over. We told him many times that at this point we were just looking. We will not be back!
Jordan was awesome and really helped us out today. We felt welcome the moment we came in and never pressured. Jordan was able to offer some suggestions that matched what we were looking for -- this made things a lot easier considering the huge selection in the store. Back in March 2022 we ordered a bedroom set. The salesman (Wentler) was great. We had to move June 1st and had gone in to cancel our order as our furniture still had not come. They told us our furniture would be there before we moved except for the nightstands and those could be delivered to us via UPS or FedEx as now we are 3 hrs away from this store. When the nightstands showed up to our house the boxes were in perfect shape. We opened the boxes and the nightstand was damaged. We contacted customer service number and sent them photos and a few days later we were contacted by customer service by a lady named Jamaica. At that time she said they would replace the damaged nightstand however we would have to take it back to the store we purchased it from. When she was told the store was 3 hrs away from us she said we chose to save them sent by UPS. I told her we were not given a choice and wanted to speak with supervisor. After being placed on hold for several mins, I was told the supervisor whose name was Sabrina was to busy to talk with me, and that they would send an email to the Gilbert store about the damaged nightstand. The very next day I called the Gilbert store and spoke with London Hamblin (she was very great to work with). We were advised that we cannot take it back to store but had to go to warehouse in Phx and take it back there. We could not take to other stores which are only 1 hour and a half away because they are franchise not corporate. We asked if we could get a refund on the delivery and setup that we paid for because we did all the set up. She told us unfortunately she couldn't but could give us a credit. The credit was only for that store which does not do us any good as we live 3 hrs away. We took the damaged nightstand to the warehouse in Phoenix and got a new one but we had to pay for gas getting there and back. And we all know how expensive gas is. Customer service for this company is awful.

It's been two months and I still haven't received any of my order. I've reached out three times to their support channel. Each time they tell me to give them 4 business days and they'll get back to me. I've never heard back from them. I could not recommend Ashley less. Absolutely terrible.
Aaron was attentive to our needs without hovering and answered all of our questions. The process was easy and we'd shop at Ashley with Aaron again.

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. This company sells things they don't actually have in stock. They are dishonest and have seriously shady business practices. Purchased a bed in Feb 2022. Was told delivery would be delayed until the end of March, then April, then May, now its June. Trying to get in touch with their "customer service" proved a bit challenging. Every time I've called I am put on hold and told there are 40-50 calls ahead of me. This is how they force you to talk to them via text. Then they don't respond to you. If you check their facebook page you can see how people REALLY feel about them. Their customer service is awful. Never seen a rating UNDER 1 percent before that! I will be contacting the better business bureau and filing a complaint.

Worst customer experience. I had ordered a bed 2 months in advance confirming with the sales guy Masoud that it will be delivered on time since it was orderd well in advance. When I checked the status after 2 months they said it’s further delayed by 1 month with no guarantee of delivery. They didn’t do anything to compensate this. Eventually, I cancelled the order and ordered a new bed from living space.

The delivery left my house a disaster. I left a review that they called on, promised to follow up and never did. No care given as walls were marked up and they pushed furniture across a hardwood floor.

Extremely disappointed. We purchased extended warranty on house full of furniture we purchased 2 years ago when we moved here. The warranty cost us ,$600. Now two of our dresser drawers are not closing properly so filed a claim with the extended warranty people and was promptly told that these repairs were not covered. Requested a refund on warranty and was refused. Too bad that their furniture falls apart in 2 years.

Buyer Beware!!!! Online prices are far lower than in-store prices. I bought a couch for just under $1200 that sells for $744 on the ashley furniture dot com site. Called the store to price match. 45 minutes later they informed me they could price match but HAD to include furniture protection add on in order to do so. I asked them to cancel the order, and they did. I ordered the item online, and it's due to arrive the same day as the in-store order. Used car salespeople at best.

We are happy we went to Ashley today instead of the other store we had in mind. We remembered that when Ashley had a store in Tempe, we purchased most of our furniture there and so did our two sons. Absolutely only buy furniture here if they are IN STOCK. Worst experience buying furniture ever. I bought a bedroom set on Feb 2022, come Apr 2022 and still no updates. I texted/called my sales representative and he has NOT replied to me at all. It has been 10 days now at the time of writing this. I can even see that he read the messages. So I went to their website and asked for chat support to do a partial delivery because some of the pieces are available, they told me the delivery team will be in contact in 24-48 hours. Week later, no call. The lack of communication is incredibly disappointing. Literally no updates or anything. So again, I do NOT recommend buying from here unless they have the item in stock.
You can look at the furniture but they are 12 weeks out if want to buy something they might have something's available but slim Pickens
In October 2021, purchased a dining room set. I was told during the time of purchase delivery would be 8 to 10 weeks. This past Sunday April, 2022 I cancelled my order with them. I am extremely disappointed with this store and will absolutely never shop with them ever again. I purchased a sofa from Living Spaces and a mattress from Bob's Discount furniture and all arrived on time when they said it would. Ashley made no attempt to keep me updated on delivery. I had to contact them and wait an unreasonable amount of time for info. 6 months to wait for what I paid money for is absolutely unacceptable. Again, I will never do business with this company again!!

I was pleasantly greeted as I entered the store with notification that there qas a 50% off of everything in the store!! Who wouldn't be thrilled to hear that ? Along with an additional 10 %! I was allowed to walk about to look however, was asked at good timely intervals if I needed anything or how was my browsing going? I never felt pressured but knew I had someone to ask questions of if I had them as perusing the store. Made for a very pleasant experience. And I found some new treasures to bring home with me. Worst experience buying furniture ever. I purchased items December 2021 and was told some of the items would not be in until after May 2022, so I asked to cancel the order except one item that was in stock. I was told I would be getting a confirmation email and five days later I had to call back because I never got a confirmation. When I finally got through to someone they said they saw the case was open but no one ever closed it and then I was hung up on, to which I had to call and get in line again. Trying to get ahold of anyone at the physical store, online, or via their customer service is horrible. When I say I’ve been hung up on each time I tried to call, it’s not an exaggeration. When you call you’re always 100th in line to get to someone, and the customer chat bot is automated and no help either. Also with delivery, I was called by two separate people one of which was laughing when I answered the phone to tell me I can’t schedule a timeframe of delivery, that it’s through their computer. I asked if I could please schedule a time rather than wait for a supposed text or email, but they told me that’s not their job. Seriously disappointed with this entire process. Just buy from Costco, they have better customer service and delivery options.
I was told December was when I would get my furniture (I’m assuming so they could get the sale). December passed and I have to call them for them to say, no, you will POSSIBLY get your furniture in JUNE. So, of course, I’m not going to wait for that. I ask for a refund. And why do I have to call for an update instead of being informed of my order status? It’s been over 2 months since I asked for my refund and STILL, they refuse to give me my money back and say the issue is with my bank. No, it’s not, they have not seen a dime. NEVER buy your furniture with them if you want to have it in a reasonable time. Covid excuses or not, they need to be giving realistic expectations of delivery, not lying so they can get the sale. Absolutely worst customer service I have seen and it will take months to even get a case, and that’s after waiting HOURS to talk to somebody. Completely unacceptable.

“AWFUL” in the process of building a home. Towards the end of January I was called to say my furniture was in and they would like to set up a delivery. I told them that my house was not completed yet but would be completed by the end of February. Called actually today a.m. to schedule a delivery ASAP and was told all my furniture is on backorder. Soonest date on table chairs ordered March 3, one couch March 8, in my kitchen table 1st part of May. I am moving into my home next week and now do not have any furniture. I do not understand this especially since I have been in communication with Ashley. When talking with a delivery representative this morning I asked her how could they have all my furniture at the end of January and now they don’t have any of it and she actually hung up on me. Went down to the store in Gilbert they spoke with me Said they’d send a text to the warehouse and would call me back. Needless to say I am livid with Ashley furniture
So overly priced even if the tag says “sale”. Found all the same items I was looking at at American Furniture Warehouse.

This place has reps that lie and a customer service department which is appalling. Paid cash in august for a sofa set and still waiting for one piece. We were told on multilabel occasions that it is going to be delivered and pushed back even a rebate to be offered by the store and NO ONE from the store has reached out. Once again the delivery date is pushed out for a 5th time. We were told when we paid that they had the entire set in their warehouse. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! We will never be buying from them again.
Awful customer service, sold us 3 items that were “in stock” called to see when can we pick them up, told us they are now back ordered and new date is January 28th, after trying to call them 3 times, surprise surprise the items are now backordered until late March. Talked to a store employee tells us “ not sure I can do anything” I’ll have a manager call you. It’s been 2 hours and nothing!
Kathryn was Amazing from the time we first came in to the final sale. She is definitely an asset to your team. She is Honest, receptive of peoples thoughts and then helping us in our design decision. She is so friendly and NOT pushy at all.
Our first purchase at Ashley was a nightmare. Bought this sofa with Ottoman and charged us shipping. They delivered a wrong Ottoman and upon asking they said our order was taken wrong. After that phone call a case was created and then another lady called us after a couple of days and asked us to contact our store to place our order. To my surprise the order was still not corrected and I received another call after weeks asking me for the pickup of Ottoman. After reminding them of the shipping charges they gave us new delivery date after a month. We still do not have the Ottoman. They made this purchase very hard for us. According to the sale a gift card was supposed to arrive in mail which never came. My living room is just messed up because of Ashley. I will never buy again at Ashely. Bye for ever.
Angela was great to work with and no high pressure. She answered our questions and showed us every style of furniture sets that met our specifications, and also helped us plan our living room furniture layout. Took us 2 trips to make up our minds and happy with our decision.
Can't stand this store. The salespeople are pushy and the manager is a grouch. The manager alone made me never want to visit again. Also pro-tip, Ashley wholesales all their furniture to a million other vendors, you can probably find what you're looking for at a fraction of their price elsewhere which is what we did on an expensive ashley branded couch we wanted.
Whether it’s in store or online, don’t expect to get all your furniture in one go. Yes stuff is back ordered but they provide a date that is not true and they call you to go pick up stuff you paid to have delivered. Salesmen are great and nice people though, and did enjoy our experience in store. As far as their logistics it’s seriously lacking and in need of improvement. Don’t go here if you need your furniture immediately
Kathryn B. has always been super helpful! She’s helped us furnish 3 rooms in our new home. She has taken such good care to make sure my family is happy and comfortable. Ashley’s selection is fantastic, the pricing is on point, and we feel like we have a friend taking care of us there.

Was incorrectly charged 2x for my furniture without authorization to charge my card a second time (as this is witnessed in person at point of sale during transaction). I was hung up on the first time I expressed that I was charged twice. Lead time for out of stock items were shown to be 8-12 weeks. No word was given of change to delivery or lead time up until week twelve when I called them to find out it would be another 3-4 months, totally 6-7 months of total wait time. I canceled my order and am still attempting to get a refund. Do not recommend. The experience in store was worse than a used car dealership. Lots of negotiating, lots of having to threaten to walk out to get pricing somewhere in the ballpark of reasonable, but ultimately had to get a different sales person to get the deal we wanted (when they happened to walk by while we were waiting for feedback from the manager). Overall took 10 minutes to pick out furniture, another hour working with the sales team on pricing, and another 10-15 minutes to purchase something that will never be delivered.
Don’t bother purchasing from Ashley unless you are getting a great price AND what you want is in stock. Otherwise they will take your money, meanwhile taking literally months to get you what you purchased. In my case, they are saying 4 months! And their customer service and delivery processes are equally as horrible. I won’t ever go back.

We ordered our furniture on July 4th and after 6 months we are still waiting for the chaise to go with our sectional how can a whole sectional be made and delivered but we can’t get one piece? By the time we get this piece the rest will be worn out and now I have a sectional without one end! Worst service ever!
They send me a coupon for 30% off to get me in the store then tell me I cant use the coupon because everything in the store is 50% off, but everything in the store is ALWAYS 50% off because it's a sales gimmick and you can only do 50% off if you spend another thousand on their bogus protection plan. What a racket, they're worse than car dealerships. Btw the coupon does not state that it cant be combined with any other offer, nothing but liars.. it's a shame because they have some decent peices.

Great service, our Sales attendant asked us what we wanted and showed us all the options for what we were looking for. The whole process was quick and efficient and we didn’t get fished and baited into buying anything else, nor was our attendant too pushy on getting us to buy the most expensive items. I would say Ashley’s is a great furniture store. It has all the styles your looking plus a focus on comfort. I would definitely shop Ashley’s again.
In store customer service was great, but online customer service and general phone customer service leaves a lot to be desired. They are very slow to respond, have bad attitudes, and they hang up the phone on you (after you wait 3 hours for them to call you because you’re number 145 in line and then they don’t call you back).
Jordan helped us through our sale as we mixed & matched what we liked on our own. He kept his offer to help open and checked on us, but let us browse on our own like we preferred to do.
I was told I would receive my delivery on 11/23. I only ordered the items because I was told I would get them before thanksgiving. I received a call telling me the table would not arrive on time but my chairs were available but they delayed my entire order. I cared more about the chairs than the small patio table so I asked for a partial delivery. I was told it’s up to the warehouse if they would make a partial delivery. This is upsetting to me because this is a set I ordered for my pergola and I’m having a full house for thanksgiving and now I don’t have enough sits for people that wants to be outside. I would not have ordered it if I was told from the beginning that I would not get it on time.
Don Stubbs is an excellent Sales Representative, extremely professional. When we arrived at your store he greeted us in a very welcoming, and warm manner. Mr. Stubbs definitely meet the core competencies of a successful salesperson (passion, emotional intelligence, sales ability/problem solving). He understood that we recently moved to the area, and needed to furnish our home immediately. In addition, he is a good communicator/good listening skills/responded to our question/need(s). Moreover, he is knowledgeable of store merchandise.
This was our first time buying from Ashley and I don't think we will be back. My husband and I found a five-piece bed set that we both loved. Mary from the sales floor was helping us and told us that this particular set was in stock. We were excited because most furniture is on back stock right now. We ordered the bed set and right after I paid the system glitched and did not print out a receipt. Not a big deal. She instructed me to go up to the front desk to speak to her manager and he would print me a receipt. While speaking with the store manager he was going over everything she had it included in our order. He realized she missed the side rails, the most important piece that holds the headboard on the footboards together. I was frustrated because I just spent $4,000 on this bed set and asked him how much this particular piece would be. He apologized and told me that piece was out of stock and after I told him that I was reassured that everything was in stock he told me that the piece was originally $600 but he could sell it for $400 and throw in metal frames so I'm not sleeping on the floor. How nice. 48 hours after my purchase I got two emails letting me know that both orders would be delivered the following week. I was excited because I figured the side rails must have restocked right after I purchased it. On the day delivery, the delivery people told me I could refuse the metal frames as I didn't need them now because all the pieces were here. I was totally fine with that and was ready to send them back but as they were bringing everything in they realized they were missing a box that contained the drawers to my bed as well as all the bolts and hardware to put the bed together. I called customer service to ask where that box was and they said that that box was out of stock and would not be restocked until December 26th. The customer service agent was sympathetic and apologized but said that there was nothing she could do. So now I am sleeping on metal frames down lower than my bedside tables with my headboard footboard and all of my bed pieces leaning against my wall for the next month.
Pros: Fairly large selection Just about every style Sales people are friendly and very talkative Some items (rugs) are fairly priced, just a needle in a haystack search. Cons: Prices in store are really misleading …”sales” prices are faked. Discounts on in-store prices don’t align to their website prices. Inventory online is sometimes faster than in store orders. Prices on their website are completely different, sometimes higher/sometimes lower. $100 “gift card” offer was not honored. It says “receive a $100 gift card for walking into the store”. They told me “they’d lose money if they let me order an item & let me use the gift card in the promotion item”. It really made me feel like I walked into a car dealership. It’s basically demoted the gift card to promo code for a $100 off a full price item. I could buy a decorative pillow for “$80”. 😂 what a joke. False and sleezy marketing shouldn’t be supported.

Bought a bedroom set and have sagging drawers already and one rail broke out of a drawer at 1.5 years. Extended warranty that they push hard for you to get covering everything… NOPE not broken drawers apparently.

Do not purchase from this store without checking their prices online first. Our price tag went from $7k to $3k and then the products were still listed for cheaper on their website. Also, do not fall for the protection plan or paid delivery, both are free on the Ashley Homestore Website.
I had been trying to order furniture online at ashleys.com, it was a nightmare. I live in one state and am purchasing a second home in az. With Ashley you are not able to purchase furniture in one state and have it shipped to another. A store manager in my city hooked me up with a manager, Mike, at the gilbert store. Mike you were amazing. You ordered everything I needed. You were effortlessly helpful and nice. I have been an ashley customer for years. The experience I was having online, and the frustration of not being able to buy what I wanted in one state and have it delivered in a other, I was going to go somewhere else. Honestly, I really didn't want to though. Ashley had exactly what I wanted. So I thought I'd give it another shot. I am so glad I did. Kathryn, one of their sales people helped me, (along with mike) order a couch. This was a second contact. Kathryn was so nice and helpful as well. Map 1819 E Williams Field Rd Gilbert, AZ 85295 Nita S. Apache Junction, AZ 9/15/2021 Would like to give 0 stars. Bought furniture there on July 18, 2021. A couch, chair and warrenty. I used $145.00 in visa gift cards I had and the rest on my Discover card. On July 21st we decided to cancel the furniture because something else came up. I went into the store to cancel. They refunded the amount that was put on Discover and said a check for the 145.00 would be sent to me in 7 to 10 days since it was a visa gift card. Well... I started calling at the beginning of August, which by the way is a horrible ordeal. I wish I kept a log of how long I have been on hold during all this, asking where the check was. Then I was told it could take 6 to 8 weeks. I waited a few weeks and called again. Now mind you each time I called i could never speak to the same person. I tried calling so many different numbers and spoke each time with someone different in all different departments but NEVER in finance. There is NO WAY to get a hold of that department. Each person said they would work on it, send e-mails to finance, send e -mails to corperate, etc.etc. So today I am told I have to go through the store who I called and said that oh it looks like a check is in progress...then gets back on the phone and said the money went back on the visa cards on 9-2-21! Don't know how that is possible. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General and I am also going to file with BBB. Stay away from this furniture store. The customer service is horrible! They are crooks who have kept my money. I was told by others not to shop there and did not listen, well never again. There are plenty of other furniture stores that I will give my business to. Well guess what?? Yesterday, 9-15, 21 I called Ashley furniture AGAIN at the store location. Vee at the Gilbert store said that money was put back on your visa gift cards on 9-2-2! So i called visa and she was able to look up the cards by my nmae and last 4 of the cards and said the money was put back on them Aug 6th! Now mind you I spoke with someone on, 8-4, 8-6, 8-31, 9-2, 9-7, and 9-10. These dates do not include chats. NOT ONE of these said the money was put back on my cards. They all said they would check wilth finance to issue me a check. OMG this business if UNBELIEVABLE!!! STAY FAR AWAY. Go to AHF, Living spaces, or Red Rooster consignment shop. All have better service!
We were there for a couple hours. It took about 25min to get a sales associate to help us. We were told that if we bought a certain type of mattress that they can give us a better deal on our furniture for our bedroom. They were able to save us quite a bit of money. Upon reviewing the paperwork I saw that there is a $300 delivery fee so I offered to pick up my own furniture. The sales manager said the only reason we got the deal we got was because it was all inclusive so he couldn’t offer me that price if I offered to pick up my own furniture. Needless to say this is a little frustrating. We spent $6500 in furniture even after discounts and just expected a little better service.
Great sale for the holiday. Also our Sales Associate Kathryn Buck was outstanding! Very knowledgeable, professional, helpful and friendly. We have purchased from Ashley's before and keep coming back for the value and service.
Sales woman, Courtney, was very helpful and knowledgeable, making our shopping experience easy and stress free. My husband and I ended up buying 4 pieces for our living room during their labor day sale and are really looking forward to having them delivered! Would absolutely recommend shopping here.
The people were nice. Store was clean. But they sold me furniture that delivery has already been re-scheduled for 3 weeks later then planed, which was already 3 weeks after purchase. So make sure you can wait months before you get the furniture
after my recommendations from my brother, I visited Ashley Furniture, San Tan today and got the amazing service from Cathering and Mike, they helped us buying the furniture, although we were going to compare at other stores in case but there was no reason to do after visiting the store and getting amazing service! I would highly recommend this store and work with these sales people.

They sold product they don't have available and tell you to wait 12 weeks, then still don't have it and will tell you your stuff is waiting on delivery but then deliver your furniture to someone else.
We went in knowing what we were looking for. With that said, we wanted to browse with leisure. The guy at the front was politely insistent that if we found something to see him out. We had no less than 5 pairs of eyes fixed on us the entire time. (Not comfy) We ended up finding something and sought out the original guy because we are kind customers. Ashley should reformat their commission structure. As a customer, we felt stalked. As far as delivery goes- the guys arrived on time but they unpacked the wrong thing. When they got to ours, of our items were damaged in several places. The delivery person hurried out the door without taking a good report. We were told someone would contact us about the damage. That didn’t happen. I sent in an online inquiry 4 days ago- no response. I don’t anticipate getting a response at this point, which means we have to accept their poor quality. Won’t shop here again.

Great buying experience with no pressure from the salesperson. The pricing was explained well and the salesperson followed up when needed and even provided a tape measure. I was pleased with the level of customer service that I received.
You have to assemble the furniture
Terrible customer service. I have been waiting for a refund of my returned product since May 2021. (The delivery date changed one month after the order from 1 month to 3 months and I needed a sofa.) I have called several times and have waited for 45 minutes +, get hung up on, or transferred to the wrong store. July 14 the substitute manager said a check would be in the mail that’s day. No check received. Called store a couple of weeks later and asked to speak with the manager and they said he wasn’t available. I said I’ll hold. His name is Ryan and he’s NOT helpful. I asked for alternatives and what else could be done but he said it’s corporate. He said he would have a corporate manager call me back. Nobody has ever called me back. I even emailed the district manager and he hasn’t replied. In case you make the decision to go, the extended warranty calls are all patched into the same call center with long wait times. If you like to waste your time on hold then the warranty is for you! I do NOT recommend this store, there are many other furniture stores and web sites with the same brand of furniture and other options where you can actually get your money refunded if the delivery time is extended.
The store is nice. I’m still waiting for my delivery. They didn’t tell me that for Florence they have a specific delivery day, Thursday. I was able to get the day off for work, but it would have been nice to know before, because we probably would have looked at another store that had weekend delivery. I also double checked the prices online for the furniture I purchased in store and online the prices are cheaper, so I showed the sales associate and he lowered the prices. So double check prices online, otherwise you will be over charged in store. I also purchased a bed frame for my daughters room online and for the past 2 weeks they have been taking the money out and putting it back into my account. I can’t get a direct answer on when I’m receiving my purchase, only the answer that it is a specialty item and they have to contact the warehouse and they will contact me. I’ve requested for a refund on that purchase. Im hoping everything goes smoothly with my delivery & no issues. I will update then. In the future, I won’t do business with Ashley.

The store manager did not want to match the price unless extended warranty was bought. The store manager Would not honor the free delivery and tried to charge $170 for delivery. Store would not honor the 10% discount advertised for new customer.. The store manager tried to switch to another sectional. total disrespect for the customer even showed were everything was advertised he didn't even care..

This store is a scam and unprofessional in all levels. You will never receive your purchased order!! I made a purchase in November 2020 and I haven’t received until now. I was expecting my delivery in two days time but Today I received a call that have to wait for 8-12 weeks!! The audacity !! This is not acceptable. Buy at your own risk. SCAM

I found a bedroom set I liked online so I went in the store to purchase it thinking it would be easier. The sales guy added a protection plan without asking me. Then I find out they do not stock any furniture in that location the warehouse is in Phoenix so you cannot just bring a truck and pick anything up that day unless you want to drive to Phoenix and if there is any issues you have to return it to that phoenix location so they rope you into paying for shipping. One item I ordered was on back order they estimated May 25th to get it back in stock. When the bed and nightstand arrived they delivery guys said they sent the wrong hardware so I had to wait over a week for them to mail the correct hardware then I had to put the bed together myself or wait to schedule someone to put it together. May 25th hit I get a call saying the new estimated in stock date is June 17th. I got another call a couple of days ago on a Sunday saying they had an update and to call. When I called the number provided right after they called me they said they were closed. I tried calling the next day and I was on hold for over 20min and had to hang up to do something. I tried the online chat and they could not help me they gave me another number to call when I called I was on hold for 18min then it went straight to a survey and they hung up.
I've purchased several items at this store and found good prices, quality, and friendly associates. Thank you.
The show room service is excellent but the product and after sale service is horrible. You will end up dealing with service manual with no satisfying answer or action. Highly not recommended

The absolute WORST customer service!!!!! We have been waiting for over a month and a half for 2 couches. Started getting emails asking if we wanted to move up our delivery date, but there were no dates available AND on top of that, with each subsequent email, our delivery date kept getting pushed back to a later date!! Have now placed 7 phone calls and keep getting told to contact the store where we purchased and then they NEVER answer the phone!!!!! Do better Ashley Furniture!
Furniture is nice, found a dining table set we really liked, added some other furniture and a table to it. Salesman tried to dou le the price of the chairs that are sold in sets of two claiming that was the per chair price. I showed him online that the regular price was for a set of two, he still tried to lie about it. So we are buying ONLINE for $1000 less than in the store. So go look in the store, find what you want and buy it online.
My review is based on their prices they are running specials of 50% off of regular prices in marking them up to make it look like there actually running a special .I looked at a couch they said they sold for $5000 they never have $5000 couches unless they're leather double power recliner I'm just not buying it they say their sale prices 2500 I know for sure that that was the original price and there this making it look like there having a sale it's called fraud

I was immediately greeted at the door welcoming me into the store and if I was looking for anything specific. I was hesitant to state that I was specifically looking for a couch and stools as many times I would then be whisked away and pressured to look at things that did not appeal to me for the sake of a sale. However, this was not the case. Mary nodded and gave me a layout of the store and so that I could focus my search. I appreciated that I was allowed to browse on my own with no "eagles hovering over me." So, when I decided on what i wanted and/or had questions, I looked for Mary! She was knowledge, helpful, and very engaging!
Love this store. Sales person was super nice a didn't attack or stalk you. Excited to get our furniture. Ends up being fair pricing as the manager worked on the total as we were paying cash. Only real complaint thus far is we have to wait 8-12 weeks for delivery. That’s going to make it rough for us to wait. 🤷♀️ But not the fault of their own…COVID…😡
Avoid this location. Total scam !! I bought my full set of bedrooms and living room furniture in Dec 2020 and it's 6 months today and they still don't have ETA on when items will arrive. All they care is you pay the invoice, they promise to deliver by 2 months but it never happens and it just goes downhill after that. Avoid this store unless you want to spend hours with customer service and multiple visits to store.
I had a sales associate who said she was fairly new. Everytime I had a question about something she had to ask someone else, it got confusing. I purchased a bed and a base. There was a price on the bed and I asked the associate if this price includes everything that we see, of course she asked someone else and they both agreed, yes this is the price for what we are seeing. I purchased the bed and it arrived today. Bed was Inspected for damages, everything looked good. Later we went to try the bed and notice it only had the up and down feature. All the features the sales associate said was included was not there. I called the store and spoke to her. She said I only paid for the basic base. She tried telling me that's what I asked for. I know I didn't ask for the basic base. I asked if the price is for everything we see. She also asked if I Inspected the bed when it arrived, it was Inspected for damage. She told me there was no refunds, once you sign for it, it's yours. I tried telling her this is not what I wanted. She said a manager will call me back in a couple hours. Never received a call. Tried calling back. They left me on hold. Worst experience I had. When they delivered they left the trash in the room. Drivers don't speak very good English but held out his hand and said money. He was told it was already paid for. He said tip. Sales associates are nice until they make a sale.

Save your time and money and go to AFW. If you do buy from Ashley, purchase online because the prices are significantly lower. My husband and I went into to look at a set they had that we reviewed online. Loved it in person so the sales lady looked it up. (I will agree with most reviews, they definitely hover and pressure you to buy). The price there was more than doubled the price online. She did have a manager (wish I could have remembered his name) come to override the price but he said, "I will only give you the online price if you purchase the 5 year warranty." Um no thanks, I can order it myself online without the warranty. He was very rude when I asked him questions and talked to me in a demeaning manner. We left and went straight back to AFW where our experience was completely opposite.
I have purchased from this store twice now, back in September and then this past week. The prices are decent, the store itself is fantastic to wander through and check out furniture. Unfortunately, the sales associates are VERY hit or miss. They are either wonderfully helpful, or you have to explain what you're looking for (and have two other associates explain it as well) before it finally clicks for them, and even then it will be a drawn out process where you have to keep confirming that yes, that is in fact what you want to order.

She took time to make sure that she understood our needs and “style” in order to show us various pieces of furniture that we really liked. There was absolutely no pressure sales tactics like we had experienced at other stores. We will always work with Kathryn for our furnishing needs.

Lot of good choices. No comparison in pricing for warranty and delivery charges with American Furniture Warehouse, they have none. Save almost $1000 and you don't have to wait 8 to 10 weeks for the leather couch in the photo. AFW has it for less cost. Zero-interest financing is good until you go for a second year, then the sale price is reduced. 🤨

I was able to find 2 'tall' chairs for sitting at my kitchen counter. While not super close in wood finish, they're not going to be that close to furniture in other woods, but the style is similar. Even though the saleswoman from whom I'd bought my living room furniture and rug was not there the day I visited, the salesman entered her employee number on the order, so she could get the commission. I received notices regularly about the progress toward delivery, and the chairs were delivered even before the delivery 'window'; fortunately, I hadn't gone out to do errands in the morning, as I'd planned. I sat on one of the chairs at my counter; just the right height.

They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We purchased a king bedroom set in Dec. 2020, complete with 2 nightstands, bed, dresser, mirror, and 5 drawer chest. We were told the nightstands were in stock, but everything else was due to arrive January 28th. We were told they would call us then to schedule delivery of the remaining pieces. So we took delivery of the nightstands and waited until the end of January for the rest of the set. On February 4th, when nobody called us, I called to ask about the rest of the set. I was told everything was expected to arrive on February 20th and again they would call me to setup delivery at that time. On February 28th we went into the store to find out what was going on sibce again, we did not receive any calls. We were told the dresser and chest were in stock, but the bed was not expected to arrive until March 20th. So, I asked if we could at least have the dresser and chest delivered while we waited for the bed. Delivery of the dresser and chest was scheduled for March 2nd. When the delivery showed up, the chest was broken. So I took delivery if the dresser, and was told someone would call me the next day to reschedule the delivery of a different chest. They never called, so I called the store 3 days later and asked to speak to the store manager. He apparently does not work Thursdays or Fridays. We purchased the set in December, and in March they still have only delivered half of the pieces. So I asked them to cancel my order completely and to come pick up the pieces they had managed to deliver. The customer service person on the phone did not even ask why I was canceling, or attempt in any way to try to fix any issue. I told her I wanted to cancel my order and have the other pieces picked up, and she simply said "okay, what's the phone number for the order?". She informed me someone would call within 24 hours to schedule picking up the pieces they had delivered. That was two days ago, and no calls yet. If they do not have what you want in stock, do NOT purchase from this store. There is no way of knowing if or when you will ever receive what you paid for.
You must have to be RUDE to work here. Been in there twice and both times the sales people were rude. Just order the same stuff online much cheaper. Dont waste your time here.

Unbelievably poor customer service. I originally went to the Tempe store to purchase a couch but no one would help us (which should have told us to go with a different company) but my boyfriend and I were set on a sectional we had seen there so we gave this location a chance. We went in and were immediately greeted by Kathryn. We told her which couch we wanted and she did the schmoozing thing that we weren’t interested in but it was still a nice change from the complete lack of service from Tempe so whatever we went along. Kathryn went to check and see if the couch was still available & about 15 min later found my boyfriend and I in the show room and exclaimed “the couch is in stock but 9 people are pulling at it so we should order it right now!” Obviously a sales tactic but it’s what we had come in for so we were like “ok let’s order.” We were told it was in stock and could be delivered that Thursday (we ordered on a Monday). My bf and I both work retail jobs so that didn’t work for us and pushed it back to The following week. Well the Monday before comes along and all of the sudden we find out the couch has been on back order the entire time. I called this location that Monday to express my frustrations and was made to leave a voicemail with the promise that someone would get back to me within 48 hours and no one did so I had my boyfriend call and they immediately talked to him. We still wanted the couch but because we felt mislead and taken advantage of we wanted our delivery fee refunded. This location refused and says a $25 gift card was “more than the cost of delivery” and “all they could do.” (Delivery is $119, like do they think we cannot read a receipt?) They insisted that delivery dates were “estimates.” This is untrue. I have shopped Ashely (my entire family has) for many years. We cancelled our order completely, and I am closing my Ashley credit card and will absolutely never shop at any Ashley location again. Just because my boyfriend and I look young and naive doesn’t mean we are and that you can take advantage. I will never recommend this company again. Y’all must be making complete bank if you wanna lose out on $1000 and loyal customer instead of just refunding a delivery fee?
Be careful when you purchase at their Gilbert location. I was advised my bedroom set was on back order for a month. 3 months later my order is still not delivered. They take your money but won’t deliver what you paid for until they want to.
I ordered a bedroom set for my daughter here and was told I was about 8 to 10 weeks out. I was told that was at the latest and had no problem with that. Well it never arrived, so I kept calling them and the kept pushing it back. This is 4 months later. I finally decided to get my money back and the sales lady got an adittude and hung up on me. They have me the run-around but finally got my money back. It was a waisted if time!
I am very disappointed with my experience with Ashley Homes. I purchased a couch with them last year. The fabric on the cushions are folding over and the foam has lost its integrity in less than a year. I had a technician come look at it and he said it was normal wear and tear. However, I had a third party technician that works with Ashley furniture (unbiased) look at the cushions and he said that the foam had definitely lost its integrity, was not normal wear, and without question should be replaced by the manufacturer. After hearing this from the third party technician, I had an Ashley technician look at it again. He wouldn't replace it. For such an pricey couch its pretty ridiculous that I would need to replace the cushions after less than one year of use. I will not purchase from Ashley in the future.

Paid over 5k for power couch and loveseat and paid a premium for white glove delivery. Furniture was delivered today 1/21/21 after initially told it would be delivered 12/4/2020. Upon delivery, one piece came damaged and needs repair, another piece doesn’t recline and to top it off I only got 3 of the 4 power cords needed to have them all be functional. The worst customer experience I have ever had
Worse customer service person. Our furniture is fine the salesman was very helpful. The terrible service came with the delivery experience, first the delivery persons made a mess in front of our house and inside and did not clean up. Then we scheduled our final delivery with all remaining furniture on January 30. Received a text saying it was split the day before January 22 I called and the rude person I spoke to told me it was on the truck and if she reschedules our delivery they work on a queue and would not guarantee I would receive my order if someone else in the queue is waiting for the furniture they will get my furniture. We work and had all deliveries on weekend so we now we have to take a day off to accommodate Ashley furniture. You have just lost a customer and I will be sure to let all my friends know
Purchased a 3pc Sectional on 6/2020, 1 end piece delivered in August, second end piece in September, 3rd pc (tiny middle) today, outside of the delivery window on top of it. Still sitting here waiting. I get covid is causing issues world wide, but Ashley Furniture shouldn’t be selling products they can’t provide to customers in a reasonable time frame. Even the scheduler felt bad calling monthly with updates. Not her fault, but c’mon.
This is a long one but PLEASE READ! Worst experience we’ve ever had. My girlfriend and I visited the Tempe location about a week or so ago to look at a bed. The store was doing a 50% discount plus a additional $100 off if you tried the mattresses. Unfortunately my girlfriend wasn’t sold just yet and we left without buying. Fast forward to today, we decided to go look at the bed again but in the Gilbert location. This time she found another frame that she fell in love with. As most guys know when she finds the one that’s it. The search is final over! We were helped out by a sales woman named Eve who honestly was excellent. She really cares about what you are looking for and truly wants to find the best thing for you. However, this review is not about her it’s about the Sales Manager Ryan. After showing Eve the bed we wanted she told us that if we bought a mattress that she could work out a deal to get the bed free. Obviously we entertained the idea. After going back and forth we decided that we just wanted to get the bed frame and an adjustable base. The Store Manager Ryan told us that we could still get a great deal. After he spent some time working on our order he showed us how he gave us a great discount on the base but by doing so we HAD to buy the extended warranty ($300). Sales price on the base was $2300 and we were getting it for $1000 plus the warranty. We thought we were getting an amazing deal!! When asking about the additional $100 we were offered the last time we were in, Ryan told us that no we weren’t getting it but the deal he is giving us is better. So we ended up walking out the store with the bed frame and adjustable base for $2300 and change. Upon looking at the receipt we noticed the the warranty was for a split king which was different then what we wanted. looking up the prices for the warranties online we noticed that the same adjustable base was being sold for $890 on the Ashley website!!! We drove back to the store to find out why there was such a big difference. Ryan gave us some story about how online prices are always going to be different and that he was unable to match the online price. He claimed that the deal he gave us was the best that we were going to get. And that our delivery fees were totaling close to $300 and he was only going to charge us $100. At this point we decided just to cancel our order altogether. We drove to the Tempe location next and to make this long review shorter, we walked out with the same items for just under $1800. The salesmen Phong and the Sales Manager Ryan (yes both are named Ryan) were amazing. They honored the 50% off plus the additional hundred dollars that was previously promised and the online price for the base. Grand total, just under $1800. Over $500 cheaper!!! If you are looking at Ashley than go to Tempe. We will never go back to the Gilbert location. Ryan will lie to you and make you feel like you are getting a deal but in the end he is just a typical salesmen! Stay clear of this place!
I have had three online orders for Ashley furniture since October 2020. The table came damaged two and a half weeks after I got the chairs and it took another two and a half weeks to get the tabletop fixed. I ordered my sofas in October and I am currently waiting for those still. I have called customer service more times that I want to admit with extensive whole times. The customer service is horrendous, The agents will lie to you tell you they will call you the next day, tell you the warehouse will call you in 24 to 48 hours, Tell you a manager will call you back in 24 to 48 hours, reschedule delivery times without your consulting with you, they will do anything to get you off of the phone. This company does not care about its customers and my experience has been awful. Avoid going to Ashley furniture!

Attempted to buy a table back in late September. They set up delivery for late October text me the delivery confirmation a couple days before. Day of delivery no one showed up. I called them and they told me no we never planned on delivering it its on back order till December. Delivery date it a couple days away so I called them and they said no we never said that its on back order till next year. 10/10 would never do business again. I HATE LIARS!!!
Don&'t buy furniture here! I loved the sales person, Storme. She was the best. However, after the sale everything went wrong. They didn&'t show up when they said they would. Didn&'t even bother calling me to let me know. Then when they showed up they had the wrong piece to my couch. It has been a week and still I have not received the correct piece. It&'s supposed to be delivered Saturday. We&'ll see. I&'ve had to call and call and no one calls me back. The store customer service people Kia and Gladys are very nice but they don&'t have the power to get me the furniture on time. They are at the mercy of the warehouse and Ashley corporate customer service which are the absolute worst. Good luck buying furniture from this place.
Ordered a couch was set and confirmed for delivery day before thanksgiving. They had a set time and text to confirm time and date. Set to deliver between 4-7 pm called us just before 9 pm to say it was never delivered to them to ship out. Now won&'t be delivered until sat. Very unreliable. Communication would have been nice.
Placed an order in advance of our needed date. Just when it was due for delivery we got delayed 1 month out. Suffice to say I cancelled. Left second item in the order which was due to be delivered 1 month later of our original date. I just got notice that they pushed that item out 3 weeks. Guess who will get a second cancellation. I have done much business with Ashley in the past and their customer service has gone down the drain. Apparently, others are having similar experiences. I understand all that is going on in the world. We should never make promises we cannot deliver. It makes for a very poor experience.

Terrible company. They should just close the did. If be embarrassed if I owned this store. Every step of the process is less than adequate. From the terrible customer service to the manager dodging and the terrible quality to the not honoring warranty. Damn shame they are able to be such horrible company.

This dresser (well, the whole bedroom set) is complete garbage. The dresser drawer broke by me putting shirts in it. I can't even begin to say how big of a pain it was to get it all delivered. The running boards, dresser, mattress (which is the worst mattress I've ever had), head/foot board all came separately. Even after I paid for the "hassle-free" delivery. Not to mention, I received two nominations that it was being delivered and it never showed up. I had to take multiple days off to sit and wait for the deliveries and even with paying extra for them to take the packing material with them, they left it in my room. I tried calling "customer service" over 20 times to try and find out where the deliveries were and I was hung up on over a dozen times and transferred even more. Finally, I reached a CSR that "said" she'd email her boss and someone would get in contact with me...which never happened. This is the worst furniture company I've ever seen. To think that I decided not to go with IKEA because I wanted "nicer" stuff, that I would have for a while, this was a big mistake. On top of it all, when you order online they charge your card, when they ship it they charge your card again and then it takes 2-4 days for them to credit your card back for the first charge. I'm VERY glad I didn't go ahead and buy furniture for my whole house (like my wife told me to) because it's complete crap. Save your money and hassles and go to IKEA, at least with them...you know what you're going to get.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE. We have bought multiple items to furnish a house in September and October. Min deluvery time 4-6 werks or longer. Most items worked except a couch and a chair. We have spent two weeks trying to return the items. They do not answer or return your calls with resolution. Today we went out to try to exchange it they said the new one was on back order till January as most of their items are. We read them the back of our agreement where we are eligible for are a refund. Guess what ..,week 3 we are going into and that decision needs to go to corporate even though they have an in-store manager. They said the time frame for a decision. “Maybe a week” Customer Service they have none. Just know what you buy will be delayed by weeks and a refund I doubt you will get even though you have spent thousands of dollars !!

Misleading sales tactics. Told me I could call and cancel an item because I wasn’t sure it was going to fit (and the ‘sale’ ended that day). What they didn’t tell me is that I would have to come IN to the store to get my refund. They also knew I was from out of town and would only be back infrequently. So now I’m in more of a mess trying to find a way to get back into the store because the salesperson cared more about making the sale and their commissions than they did about actually taking care of a customer.
Stay Away! China cabinet glass scratched, shelves didn't fit. It's been a month, still not resolved. Kitchen set, delivered chairs, said missing table was a mistake, it would be at my house 3 days later. Couldn't return chairs because I accepted them. Ashley rescheduled 3 times, each time putting delivery out over 2 weeks each. Took visiting store & telling people not to buy furniture there to get help.
Service After the sale. This is where Ashley Home Store falls far behind. I ordered two pieces of furniture to be delivered. Was told furniture MUST be Delivered by their “White Glove” Service Department. We could not pick it up ourselves. The items were large and very heavy so their “White Glove” delivery, even though it was over $210.00 to deliver 11 miles from their store. Deliver Day was 3+ weeks away. Not what we wanted to hear, but both pieces were in stock and they would fully assemble, brought into the house, and locate the items inside our home. Keep in mind that the furniture was almost 7 feet long and about 125 pounds each. Deliver was sounding good. Three weeks later and two days prior to our Delivery Date we did not hear ANYTHING. We called to follow up. After making 5 phone calls we spoke to someone. They said we texted you. No they did not. Anyway they informed us that one item was to be delivered on Saturday. One Item is on back order. The people on the phone could not help we had to talk to the Store. So we did. After an additional 4 calls we were told we needed to talk with the Manger. He was busy, and we had to wait for a return call. Never called us back. Even after we called back the next day and again on Saturday. No call backs. We did this 3 times. Delivery Day Saturday. After not hearing anything from the deliver company. We called back. Furniture was to be delivered now on SUNDAY. They could not confirm or deny both parts were going to be delivered. Sunday, Furniture delivery. Furniture dropped off in the two locations. It was not set up. Missing two Shelves, all of the pins for all shelves. Knobs did not fit the unit may even be the incorrect ones as they were tossed loosely inside the unit with the wrong hardware. After talking with the delivery company they said they do NOT assemble, or set up furniture. Their Job, in their words, “we are only paid to drop off furniture.” Nothing else. We ended up sending one item back because it did not fit the location it was intended for. Again had to call the store Manager to notify them, one item was returned and ask for the parts for the other unit. Surprise. We could not get a hold of the Manager, again, but he would call us back in 5 minutes. Two hours later he called. As of today: 1. We do not have a credit for the returned Item. 2. Missing all hardware and two shelves for the other. 3. No ETA on when this will be corrected. 4. No answer on who will finish assembling the furniture. 5. No explanation on their “White Glove Deliver Service” credit, apology, or that they flat out lied to us. (more on that later, I may expand on this review at a later time).
We came in to purchase new patio furniture and some home decor. Anthony helped us out and made our experience fun and entertaining. This was probably one of the best furniture shopping experiences ever. We will definitely return to this location for future purchases.
This has been the most horrible customer service ever. I am waiting for the store to open now so they can come pick up the half a couch I have had for a week. Delayed on the 2nd half, no reason why or telling me when it will come. After 3 separate calls on hold each time for 30-45 min every single call disconnected. Do not buy from here.

Mike, the manager at the Gilbert store, went above and beyond. He stuck with me throughout his busy day and made sure I got everything I needed to make my move to my new place, a home. Mike paid attention to every last detail and I was very pleased with the great customer service. I can’t wait to see the end result once the furniture arrives. Great experience with the sales people this second time around this last weekend purchasing a new couch at their large Fall sale like I did last year with bedroom furniture. The furniture is decent (middle range budget/quality) but some of the drawers in night stand and dresser are tweaked that I bought last year. They have to be pushed or pulled in different directions to shut fully. Be warned DO NOT buy the warranty. The sales people sell it to you like it’s all 100% covered, well it isn’t hence why I’m writing the review now. It’s a joke and structural damage is not covered, nor is normal wear and tear damage. Not sure why you’d buy a warranty if that stuff isn’t covered but accidental burn marks are covered?
ASHLEY Homestore has to be the WORST furniture store in AZ - bought a bedroom set with a promise of delivery on 9/26 - then 10/7 - then 11/7 and now 11/11 - store Mgr doesn’t know customer service - taking business elsewhere. Be very careful shopping there - they simply do not care
I had been shopping around for a couple months for furniture. I finally found an Ashley sofa I liked a lot at AFW. I am not a fan of AFW so I went to the Ashley store directly and worked with a salesperson named Kathryn and her manager Mike. I explained my situation of how I found an Ashley sofa at AFW for a much lower price and asked if they would price match AFW. The manager Mike agreed to price match and I made my purchase. At the same time I said I would be back to buy the matching loveseat and wanted to make sure we could price match that as well. Mike the manager agreed that would be no problem. Fast forward to this past Sunday I went back to Ashley and worked with Kathryn who is great, however this time there was a different manager Ryan on duty who was very rude and condescending. He questioned me multiple times on why I didn't just go to AFW to purchase the loveseat if they had it lower. I explained that we prefer to buy from Ashley directly and enjoy working with Kathryn. He finally agreed to price match. I was paying with cash so you have to go to the customer service desk to pay. Mike came to the customer service desk and counted my cash and examined it to make it was not counterfeit. Very sad to say that this was a completely different shopping experience than I had in August and don't think I will be going to Ashley's again to purchase the bedroom furniture that we planned to buy in the near future. A customer should feel welcomed when they come into a store and want to spend their hard earned money on new furniture and not feel that they're a bother because they are trying to save a little money while doing so.
I love the furniture. My wild son has jumped on our Ashley sofas for 15 years and they still look great! I spilt a gallon of paint on one, and it wiped off! I stand on the arms to reach the ceiling. Good quality furniture!
Absolutely awful. We bought a couch in the beginning of August the told me 6-10 weeks. Updated me saying it would take the full time (10 weeks). Call again to set up a delivery date with me. Then two week out call to inform me I won&'t be receiving said couch because they discontinued it. They then asked if I would like to reselect with them I said well to be fair if I choose to continue will I be compensated for all the trouble the past two months? They said well we will tell you after you tell us you want to still buy from us. I didn&'t feel comfortable so I choose to refund, they said in order to be refunded I must come to the location over an hour away from where we relocated to in order to get my money back they have been holding for two months. Please I beg you don&'t buy from here you might not even get your items. The customer service was the worst in my life.

My mom and grandmother ordered around 8000$ of furniture for there brand new house. They put this order in 6 months ago. They have to be out of there rental tonight "the day the furniture was scheduled for delivery". Just to confirm everything was on the up and up they called to make sure all was well. It wasn't.. the order got its delivery date pushed back a month. My grandmother is sleeping on an air mattress with her TV on the floor while my mom get a couch. There was 0 communication on there behalf on the delay. I guess how I'm looking at this is how can a company take 8000$ from someone, have 6 months to plan around delays, and not know of a delay until the day of delivery. Sorry doesn't make a month of sleeping on the floor acceptable, but you got the money and that's what really counts, right?
My Hubby and I had a great time at Ashley yesterday. Our representative was Anthony. Anthony made our experience so fun; he is such a funny guy. Anthony helped us buy the right sectional for our home more importantly, his years of experience with Ashley really shined through; he touch on specific information with each couch we looked at. We were impressed with the way he touch on the quality; the zippers; the different types of cushion and especially the color pallet; he always had us take the pillow of the couch we were interested in out side so we can get a better look . Anthony really made an impact on our purchase, without his professionalism and expertise, I don't believe we would have walked out of Ashley's with a purchase....the guy was amazing! We purchased a beautiful sectional and thanks to Anthony..it was a easy, stress-free and fun experience.
Was seriously thinking of buying a new sectional there, after family members bought several pieces. The salesman was super. The delivery men came early and messed up the table, two chairs were broken. No adjuster has been out and they refuse to replace anything. I am not going to buy any new furniture now. Their customer service is awful and they do not stand behind their merchandise. They give the company a bad name, as I understand the stores are franchised. Big loss for the Gilbert store
I was greeted promptly upon entering the store by Don Stubbs. I described to him what I was looking for and he was very knowledgeable, helpful, and had ideas and suggestions. I will definitely be visiting this store in the future for my home furnishing needs.
Make sure you check at american furniture warehouse before buying something here. Some of the exact same stuff for cheaper.

When a sales associate offers to throw in throw pillows and the customers say yes, we should get the pillows. Instead of lying to me on the phone after claiming their commission. Even if she said the throw pillows were extra charge , (which she did not) we said yes to the transaction. Now we sit here with a plain looking denim couch. No decorations whatsoever. I know it&'s a small deal but when someone spends over $1300 on something we should get what we are promised. Maybe she misspoke, but the fact is she asked us for throw pillows, we said yes, and now we have no pillows. I&'m extremely disappointed with that level of service. The couch itself is nice though.
I was looking for a new bedroom set and nothing really hit me so I went in the Ashley&'s thinking it was going to be too expensive but boy was I wrong! Kathryn Buck came up to me right away and after she talked to me she said I&'ve got the best set for you and I fell in love with it right away and then she knew everything about mattresses and she help me pick it out. I highly recommend Kathryn Buck! She even came to my house and helped me with my bed on her day off! I will always shop at Ashley&'s if they hire people like her. SHE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had a great experience. I hate it when sales representatives are pushy. honestly i don’t need you to tell me if i like something or not i can figure that myself. however my experience at Ashley Home furniture with Esai at the AZ Gilbert location was excellent! He allowed my husband and i to view the product displays without an awkward third wheel at our hip yet maintained a flexibility and knowledge base that helped us choose the perfect set up for our home. Most importantly when we told him what we wanted he didn’t try to make us buy a more expensive product or influence us. he listened to our needs and guided us through the store. when we need furniture again we’ll be going back to Esai.
Customer service ends when you sign the check.They delivered a love seat, not in the box and was defective. But, we didn&'t sit in it until the day after delivery. Had to wait a week for a tech, he found a defective part and was supposed to determine if the unit was actually a returned item. A week later, we heard nothing back. We called the tech department and they could not tell us the status of the part. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was on hold forever. Got on line to chat with their &"customer service &" and was told I have to wait for the part.The part that has no ETA.I asked for a supervisor and she gave me a number that I called and, the clincher, the recording says call the store. I bought almost all of my furniture at Ashley&'s years ago and will be replacing much of it.But, not with Ashley Furniture.
We've bought several items of furniture at this location of Ashley Homestore, and have always had a good experience and have always found what we wanted and needed for our home. The only thing is the advertised sales can be confusing, in which "everything" is 40% off, but you get in the store and certain types of furniture then say they are excluded, but then they really aren't, because the store will still give you the best price of the two.

Terrible service. They charge to put together items you've paid for and then state if they are damaged its your problem to drive them to the warehouse to exchange. Very poor policy!!
Huge selection, clean new store but pricing is confusing I believe on purpose. Hovering sales people throwing numbers out and abandoning one if one is not ready to buy now is very disturbing and unprofessional. Lead me to the area that has a selection of what I am looking for then leave me alone until I have questions. Furthermore, it is very difficult if not impossible to navigate the store easily if one is in a wheelchair. I don't think ADA would approve, I know we didn't and won't be back. Our money will go elsewhere.
This is my second time purchasing and both times I have had excellent service. I recommend buying from here and they will work with you and they have great deals!

I had an awesome experience today at the Gilbert store! Esai was my sales associate and he was super thorough in answering all my questions. I was able to get in and out in less than an hour! He was very kind and the manager, Ryan, was awesome as well! Highly recommend stopping by. They have tons of options!
Terrible customer service in the Gilbert AZ store yesterday, 7/19/2020. Typical bait and switch tactics. All we were looking for is a desk and we got routed into the Tempur-pedic section where they were twisting your arm to spend $6500 on a mattress and platform. I directed the conversation back to the desk and as you are writing up the porder I was told there be a $400 delivery fee. I told them I could pick up myself. They then had all these different dates for me to pick up the four items relating to the desk at some unknown Desert Warehouse location. Needless to say I walked out leaving at $3200 order go unpurchased. I tried to call two different store locations to express my frustration only to be on hold for over 10 minutes each time with never speaking to a live person. This should be an indication of anyone to not shop at Ashley store locations because really their customer service is some of the worst I&'ve ever experienced. I&'ve reached out to Ashley corporate two times with absolutely no response. Don&'t waste your time or your money.

This store will not ever be earning my business. I visited this location for the second time this weekend, ready to finally make my purchase. I had worked with sales associate Codee in my first visit. He had been very kind and had my purchase information placed on hold for us until we were ready to commit, so naturally I asked to work with him again. He was helping other customers when we arrived, so we waited patiently until he was free. After 35 minutes of waiting, we were getting anxious and ready to be helped. Another associate came to us to check in, and we asked if she could help us instead to avoid waiting any longer. As we explained what we wanted, Codee began speaking to her over their headsets. He told her not to help us because we were HIS customers. The other lady did not have the best attitude or customer service to begin with, but she then huffed at us and told us he doesn’t want her to help us. She stormed off before we could even say a word to her. Needless to say we were right behind her and walked straight out the doors. I am all for giving credit/commission were it is due, but I will not give my business to anyone who does not put the customer’s needs before their own greed. We went directly to American Furniture Warehouse, found our exact same items there, and experienced wonderful customer service! I will not waste my time with this Ashley location again.
Friendly staff. Product selection was not the greatest and it seems like they carry mostly high-end items. Visited again after 11 months. Selection still not great. The recliners are untestable as they keep products behind them. The staff is not as friendly other stores, it seems like they only care about making a sale. When I told the salesperson my budget for an item, they showed me one item in my price range and then another two items that were double my budget. They don't like to let you roam and look around before hounding you about sales.
Ciodee Breeze was our associate and he was very nice. He did a wonderful job of explaining the paperwork and the delivery options. We were pleased with everything given the fact it would not be delivered until Sept.3rd. We have used Ashley Furniture before and have always been pleased with the quality and the service is always excellent.
The only reason I&'m giving store a 2 was the sales person was really great. Store Manager must be selling furniture like crazy or thrives on losing business because he clearly doesn&'t care about customers business. I went in to talk about price match guarantee that equated to $270 on a $1600 order. He said the only way I would get price match is if I bought protection plan. He also told me that buying Ashley Furniture product at a lower price from another store other than Ashley was going to be lesser quality.
The Gilbert location of Ashley furniture is awful. I had seen a recliner - the Dylan at the superstition springs store. They were 250.00 higher in price at the Gilbert store. They would not budge. The manager - is rude too.
Presentation is nice. The staff is friendly. The selection is immense. The prices are okay. The quality and craftsmanship is not great.
Go here if you are not concerned about quality and long-lasting products. For every quality set they offer, they have eight other junk items on the floor. And for all of their discounts and gimmicks offered, you will definitely still pay top dollar for anything of quality at this store. Always make sure you check the website before accepting any offer in store. Because many times they are different and the website is lower!

This place is an absolute joke! Had an entire bedroom set delivered on June 26th. Nightstand and dresser is damaged. Call to open a claim. You literally can NOT get a person on the phone! It&'s been over a week and no one has called me back! Went into the store and they weren&'t helpful at all. You call customer service and can only hold for 15 minutes before it goes to voicemail where no one ever calls back!

My Fiance & I went in to Ashley Furniture on Sunday 6/21/2020; 'Father's Day' with the hope and expectation of walking out of there with our favorite Bedroom set... The Lakeleigh! We walked in and was immediatly approched by a young, kind individual by the name of 'Mikey' Renteria. However, do not let his young looks fool you. Mikey was more than capable, smart, well versed and extremley knowledgeable of the product we wanted as well as any other questions that we had come up with. Mikey was not pushy and let us navigate the showroom at our own pace. He was always close by if needed anything. We never felt like he was being a 'sales' person in any way. We did do some research and found the set a little less expensive from another store. Mikey, along with his store manager, did everything they could to get close to what the other store was charging. Needless to say, we walked out of there with our favorite bedrooms set, extremly happy and with the thought that we will definetly be back to grab our new living room set. Go see Mikey Renteria!!! Terrible communication inside the store amongst employees. Ordered furniture May 10...still have received only half of it...one piece got lost...another direct shipped from somewhere and I was not given any tracking info so I have no clue where that one is. Also, make sure you ask WHO is shipping your furniture because if a third party does, you’ll be required to pay for delivery...AGAIN!

Buyer Beware! In-store prices are *significantly* more expensive than their online prices (sometimes more than double). If you plan on buying furniture here, check their website first. Store will also not price match their online prices, or refund you if you previously bought an item for a higher price. Even if that item hasn't been delivered. Ended up going to American furniture and found what we were looking for at a much more reasonable price.

Very rude Staff. Quickest turn around looking for furniture I've ever had! Came in looking for an office desk, dark, and a Murphey bed or chest bed (expensive). Was immediately approached by a young salesmen who told me the office furniture is scattered around and to just look for something I like, when I followed up and asked about the Murphey bed he ran back to his sales stand with 2 other associates and asked the question. He didn't know what it was..., fine understandabke... After a couple of glances at eachother they turned to me and responded with 'those are really expensive and we don't sell those. Very few people do...' Seeing as how they don't even sell them, I prompted them for a place that does sell them and the salesmen looked back down at his papers, thought for a minute looked up and said, 'yeah, we don't sell those'....*silence and blank stares* Once I realized I was wasting my time waiting for some kind of a follow up rather than a rude dismissal, I replied 'cool, I guess I won't get a recommendation from you either then and walked out.' They couldn't care less they lost a sale and didn't care to even try and offer me any kind of alternative.

I love my furniture and the salesperson I had BUT I was very disappointed last week when my furniture was delivered and the delivery guys were not wearing masks. Made me feel uncomfortable.
Gilbert store tried to sell us a couch, love seat, and 3 tables for literally $2000 more than it cost us online from Ashley even after claiming that they were giving us 30% off and the online purchase actually included 2 couches instead of a couch and love seat. Do your research otherwise they won't hesitate to try to rip you off.
Worst experience. I am a very patient and understanding buyer but I had the worst experience this time around. I ordered a bedroom set for my daughter on April 17th and the original delivery date set for April 24th; I was excited as this was a birthday present for her and it would come before her birthday! Well, it came in completely broken-so broken it was zipped tied together-so I knew from seeing zip ties that whoever packed it up, was well aware it was broken and zipped tied it together prior to delivering it to us. I was upset and frustrated but I tried being understanding (with the pandemic and all) I called the store and we set up another delivery date. The next delivery date was set for May 13th; again we received a cracked bedroom set! I couldn’t believe how obviously cracked this set was! Now it’s past her birthday and no longer a birthday surprise for my little one; nonetheless, I didn’t cancel the order, I spoke to the manager who apologized and assured me that the next time this was to be delivered, that someone would triple check the set to make sure there are no issues prior to delivering. Yesterday, May 20th, this bedroom set attempted to be delivered for the third time, it still had cracks and scratches and was really dirty (the bedroom set is white so the dirt was super noticeable) but overall nearly not as bad as the first two times it was delivered to us, so I accepted it as I didn’t think it could get any better than this. Before I signed for the delivery, I waited on hold over 35 minutes before speaking to a manager, who said they’d compensate $200 off the entire order ($1700 bedroom set) and suggested we set up a date where a tech be sent out to fix the cracks-reassuring me it would be all be fixed. I went ahead and agreed to it and am now waiting for a tech to come out. I’m also waiting on a new sales contract showing the $200 off the entire order-I was supposed to receive an email from the manager I spoke to but I still haven’t, so who really knows if they will take that money off the set. I am not happy and all of this has been the worst experience; I have had delivery guys at my house now 3 times-potentially exposing my family to this virus-not to mention my daughters room has been empty this entire time as I got rid of her bed before April 24th (original delivery date). The lack of ownership from the manager(s) I have spoken to is ridiculous. I have been in customer service and even used to work at a furniture store and simply can NOT believe how bad of an experience this all has been for us. Went to the Ashley location on Power and Southern looked at a dinning room table set. It was 899.00. The wife and Was in the neighborhood of the William field location the same exact table set was 1399.00. Part number everything was the same. So why such a huge mark up from location to location. I went back to Power to buy Dinning room set and they also took 40% off 899.00. I also bought 2 bar stools and still saved money. Huge mark up at the William field location.
I bought a bedroom set and waited about a month for delivery. The set was brought damaged. The headboard was ripped the footboard was scratched and dresser falling apart! I have called and spoke to many people all whom dint have any idea what they are doing. Horrible customer service. Had the nerve to grill me as if I did it..the driver took pics and called himself. I just keep getting sent back and forth and no one is helping. I want my money back at this point. I will never shop here again.
Bed frame had a warped spot on the foot rail. Notation and schedule for repair by the delivery guy. As this Corona Virus is spreading I asked how they were making us safe? Told precautions were being taken. The day of delivery I phoned and asked if they would be wearing a mask and paper booties before coming into the house. The girl stated yes they had provisions in the truck if we asked. So the guy comes to the house to repair and he only has foot booties which they always wear anyway when delivering. He said he had no mask and immediately left the front door. I told him I would reschedule. If you read these Ashley furniture these are tough times. If you want the business then be cognizant of the dire consequences of seniors getting this virus and be prepared to protect us. Asking to have a mask and gloves is not a lot to ask considering the consequences. Very disappointed since I did receive a text stating Ashley Furniture was taking precautions. I didn't see any precautions other than the booties. Won't let anyone in the house that doesn't wear a mask and gloves and use hand sanitizer. Please get with the program.
Cody was extremely patient with us as we tend to bounce around with many different ideas and choices. We finally have picked exactly what we wanted for our new home. He is an incredible asset to the store and we will be recommending him and Ashley’s in the future who are friends and neighbors

I&'m am never disappointed with Ashley&'s and yesterday was no different. As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed. They allowed us to browse and kept there distance until we had a questions. We spent almost 2 hours in the store because we felt so comfortable and found so many amazing things. Our sales guy Lawrence went above and beyond trying to accommodate my husband&'s ridiculous request to measure stuff lolWe walked away a with exactly what we wanted and they are even holding in for is for months free of charge until we&'re ready for delivery. We&'ll be back!
Rip off furniture company you can buy their same products at American furniture warehouse or pruett's for about half the price that's why they are so pushy there when you walk in
I will never shop here again and tell anyone who asks to go someplace else....Ashley furniture was having a 50% sale and a friend had gone in to order some furniture. She saw a bed frame on display similar to one I wanted (the Norrister tufted & winged headboard) and forward me the info including the significantly reduced price. I checked it out online-viewing the photos, then went into the Gilbert location to see the display model. Based on what I saw online and in the store I ordered the California king bed frame. That Saturday my bed frame was delivered. The bed frames in the store & online did not represent what I received. Ashley furniture does not make different size headboards for California king beds, they sell you a king size headboard (wider) and use different bed rails to accommodate he narrower/longer cal-king mattress. I was not informed of this at all when I placed my order. So I received a bed frame with 3x 5 inch gaps on each side between the mattress and wing, exposing the painted wall behind my bed. The bed rails, which were about 3 inches wide on the display model, were 6 inches wide on the bed I received. I went into the store, with photos of the differences, and asked to return the bed. I was told that's how the bed frames come and any bed frame I purchased would be that way! The manager offered to do an exchange. I declined as I wanted that style headboard and if every bed frame the sold had the same design wouldn't the holes exist even with a different headboard!?! The manager then told me he would contact the regional office and see if they could do a refund, but I had to pay to have it picked up and they would refund sales tax etc! Seriously!?!? He gave me a card and said they let me know. Four days later I hadn't heard back so I called the store and was told they still hadn't heard from the regional office- but I could come in and exchange the bed. Friday night I went into the store in person and spoke with a second manager. Again I showed him the photos and explained what happened. He said"no problem, let me set up a date to pick up the frame and the refund will be processed the next day. Great (or do I thought). I received an email from him Saturday afternoon asking if I could come into the store that day. I responded stating that the could not make it Saturday but could come on Sunday. No response. Emailed again. Nothing... called. No managers available. Finally my husband and I gave in and decided to exchange the frame for a king size. It required buying a new mattress but we needed one anyways. So I go in and they process the exchange. Even though the king size was $200 cheaper and is currently on sale for less than what I paid it's an even exchange and I don't get any refund- but I don't have to pay a delivery fee. Yeah- don't have to pay a delivery fee because exchanges can only be delivered on weekdays. So I schedule my delivery for Wednesday, take the day off work and wait for my bed frame. I confirm the delivery date when Ashley furniture calls on Saturday and again via text Monday when I get my delivery window. 15 minutes before the start of my window I get a missed call with a voicemail stating that I need to reschedule. I call back and the customer service rep isn't sure why my bed isn't being delivered all she can see is that something happened on the store end. She tries to contact the store but can't get any help so she tells me she left them a message and they'll contact me to reschedule. Worst experience. To be continued....

Went in to look at some sofas from a weekend newspaper ad. Was greeted by Jason with a quick introduction. Walked a lap around and looked at the selections and towards the way back found a perfect couch. As we sat on it and discussed Jason esas available to answer questions. Got a great deal with a 5yr warranty on the couch. We were even able to skip delivery and pick up same day in Phoenix from warehouse.

I recently changed my rating for this store. I had purchased a bedroom set at this location and a dining room set. I was very happy and my salesman was very nice. But, the reason I changed my rating is not based on the purchase experience but the quality of service I received when I had an issue with the furniture. We are here to buy quality furniture first and foremost and service would be expected automatically. Well, I had an issue with my dining table. I went back to this store and they exchanged the table for me and called it a courtesy when the table showed signs of scratches just by pushing a cardboard box across it! Anyways I got them to exchange it and purchased a more expensive table. This was was not on the show room but was assured it was a much better table and solid pine. When I got the table it was very pretty but when I cleaned it with a cloth it would actually splinter off because of the rustic look. I have had tables with rustic look before and the manager Ryne was saying that that’s what people look for in a rustic table and I should expect splinters. They would not call for me to get another exchange. By the way I had purchased the furniture and it had been less than a month. Told me customer service would reach out to me and they have not called and it’s been a week. I felt brushed off! I purchased over $5000 dollars of furniture here. I should have been treated better. I will not purchase the rest of my furniture here and I have 4 more rooms to fill! Thank you Farrah

I purchased a furniture set and TV stand with a fireplace. Beautiful and scheduled delivery before my family is scheduled to fly in during the week if the week of 2/10. John 'rocket" explained that one piece of furniture was not in stock but could be delivered later. I selected 2/5/2020 as my second delivery date for the one large couch that was available for the first delivery. A few weeks ago I ran into John while my mother and I were shopping for end tables to addd to the 2/5 delivery. Said hi the John but he was busy w other customerds. Today is 2/4/2020 and I didn't receive a text from Ashley like I did w the first delivery so I called. Come to find out my furniture is not available until 2/20 and shows as a "warehouse pick up" not a delivery. Becca, in customer service, will call me back to find out what happened. I explained that I ran into John plus there was no heads up that there was a delay. Becca offered me another set..I explained that I have the matching loveseat so I need the couch I bought. I'll update my review once I receive a response and the couch is delivered. Furniture is good quality but not sure I'd buy something that is not all delivered on the same date again.

There was no pressure to buy. That was a big plus for me. They matched prices to another store where I saw the same furniture for less. Great selection to choose from. I will go there again for a bedroom set down the road.

I had been looking at many places for the right sofa and found one on Ashley’s HomeStore’s website . So I went in the store to confirm and purchase that sofa! Was greeted by Jessica. Shared my picture of the sofa but couldn’t find it! Had 4 other sales reps including the manager, Ryan helping us search. Jessica finally found it and it was on Clearance!! It’s a really nice sofa, perfect in every way! Turns out the measurements online were not accurate. I was so very disappointed. Plan B was to go confirm the one @ Living Spaces. So Ryan came by and saw how bummed I was. He asked if he was to give me even a better deal on that sofa or any other one in the store would I reconsider? So I reconsidered... Jessica and I started the search... found 3, gave Ryan the information and he really did come back with an offer I couldn’t turn down. So finally narrowed down to the one, closed the deal! I’m happy to say having the sofa delivered Tuesday!! I too am in the Sales Industry... I’ve always followed the Golden Rule “ treat people the way you’d like to be treated “. You don’t see that as much anymore. These day and age, customer service is nothing like it used to be... Both Jessica and Ryan changed that and went above and beyond to help me. My customer base is by word of mouth, warm referrals. I am definitely making sure I will be referring Jessica and Ryan will Ashley’s HomeStore ( SanTan). Thank you Jessica and Ryan! Average at best, yes the furniture is decently made but both my orderS showed up wrong and damaged. In the end it took 5 months to get my replacement. In the store is more of the same after about 15 min in the store asking for help. Everyone pawned me off to the next person bc no one was interested in working or selling anything that day. Find other options IMO

Recently purchased two couches from Ashley. We made multiple trips to the store. Each time we went the customer service was excellent. We worked with Meredith and Scott on our purchase, both were amazing. Awesome teamwork and we are very pleased with our purchase.
I have mixed feelings about my experience with the Ashley HomeStore in Gilbert. The sales lady was kind and knowledgeable, but there was a significant discrepancy between the displayed price vs the actual price of the items that we ended up purchasing. We purchased a beautiful sleigh bed with drawers incorporated into the footboard, and a matching 5 drawer highboy chest of drawers, with a 5 year warranty on both pieces. The issues became apparent when the delivery arrived (5+ days ago). One of the drawers at the foot of the bed is broken and unable to close, there are several areas where the wood and glue have begun to separate, and spots of smeared glue on the headboard. I went ahead and accepted the delivery when I was assured I would be getting a call or email within a 30 minute period. I STILL have not heard a single word from anyone in the service department, nor has anyone come by to do the repairs. I’m incredibly disappointed and disenchanted with the entire company at this point. If I haven’t heard from them by early next week I may start standing on their front walk with a sandwich board discouraging others from entering the front doors...
Just had the most amazing experience here. My wife and I were just browsing around, but the sales associate Navid approached us and really got to know us. He took the time to find out that I had a bad back, and that my wife was expecting. He introduced us to his manager Ryan, and we were so pleased with the warm atmosphere that they provided, we walked out of the store with a Tempur Pedic and a sectional! I’m in the sales and customer service industry and I can genuinely say, if you’re in the market for anything decor-wise in your house, this place is a must stop! They are not pushy and are very knowledgeable about their inventory. Highly recommended.

I purchased 2 power chairs in July ...by August 1 had broken down. I purchased the protection plan and a service tech came out and had to order the part. It is now today as i write this 12/20/19. The tech was out today but he ordered the WRONG part so it is still not fixed ....NOT COOL !!!!!!!!
Great looking showroom but it was difficult to shop with the saleswoman hovering over our shoulder the entire time. I get it. You either need the commission or you think I'm going to steal. Today, you got none of my money and I was too tired to toss a love seat over my shoulder and run. Crisis averted Columbo.
Angela was amazing!! From the beginning she was very helpful and kind to my 5 year old. There was an error on our sales receipt, but all in all, the store Managers and Angela made it right. When you go in ask for Angela, guaranteed you will not be disappointed.

I loved my buying experience at Ashley. I'll admit as someone who has only bought used furniture I had a different idea of what it would be like but both Paul and "Tito" (aka Michael) were so helpful and entirely genuine. There was no pushy salesperson attitude anywhere in sight. Aaron, Navid and the manager were all friendly and helpful. My guess is you can't go wrong in there, especially if you tell them exactly what you are trying to accomplish. They will make every effort to work it out for you.
Matt was great! He took the time to explain the differences in manufacturers, mattresses and warranties. And, he was very patient as I changed my mind ... several times! Matt made shopping a pleasure which resulted in us deciding to buy everything from Ashley for our entire new home. Moving into a new house meant needing to buy new furniture. Although we liked the couch we bought, we weren't fans of the pushy sales people. Every time we walked into this store, one of sales people would follow us and look over our shoulder commenting on each piece of furniture that we looked at. I'm more of a shopper that needs some space, so if you're like me- try American Furniture Warehouse. They have nicer furniture styles and non-clingy sales people.
Tito and Michael Lapenia were extremely helpful and friendly. They online price matched and saved me more than half off on a beautiful entertainment center. I was in and out quickly and was approved for a 12 month interest free payment plan. Super excited about my purchase and overall experience. I highly recommend stopping in to your nearest Ashley Homestore and asking for Tito or Michael Lapenia.

So this has been ridiculous. This is my first and last time dealingwith Ashley furniture.First I buy an overpriced couch because gf wanted a new one. NotAshley's fault of course.Then they set my delivery date almost a month out. Annoying but I candeal with that.Today was the delivery date. I get a phone call at 11am from thedelivery guy, I tell the guy how to get to my place. Then he tells mehe's only delivering part of my order, not all of it.Frustrated but told it should only be a couple more days to get the rest.Now my gf is the only one home and works the night shift. So I have her stay and wait for the guys to arrive when she should be sleepingfor work. Unfortunately we can't get anyone else to keep an eye outfor the guys.The promised time they were supposed to arrive comes by. Nothing from them.I call and the phone line says "Ashley is currently having a problem, goodbye"Wait a couple hours and get the same message. Finally at 3:30pm, I call and get ahold of a woman named Ivy.I explain the issue to her and she apologizes and tells me that sheneeds to check with dispatch and she'll be right back. Puts me onhold for 10 minutes. Suddenly a man answers the phone "Thank you forcalling Ashley Furniture, how may I help you?"I'm already pissed off but doing my best not to take my anger out onthis guy on the phone.I re-explain the issue to him all over again. He puts me on hold forone minute and comes back. Tells me that the partial order that wasdelayed won't arrive until december 26th. This is now almost 2 monthsafter my initial purchase date, and more than 1 month after thepromised delivery date.He also tells me that although they called me and told me they were onthe way, and although I had received a text message from ashley thatmy ottoman would be arriving in 20 minutes (11:30am). They apparentlymade a last minute decision and canceled the order.None of this was communicated to me is the biggest reason I am sopissed off. My poor sleep deprived girlfriend now gets to go back towork with no sleep when she could have been sleeping this entire time.The guy apologized to me and admitted that he doesn't understand whythey A. Didn't communicate to me about the fact that part of my orderwas pushed back by more than a month. And B. Why they called me,agreed to bring at least part of my order, then canceled that aftertelling me it'll be delivered, and without contacting me to let meknow it's been canceled. I have received no phone calls, no text, noemail from Ashley Furniture store. Clearly this is a company thatdoes not care about us once they have our money.Furthermore, the agent on the phone did say he wants to make it up tome, but he is unable to do ANYTHING for me until after it is deliveredin December when I'm probably more pissed than I am now
The floor is very overcrowded with furniture making it difficult to get around. Like IKEA they want you to follow the pathway so you see everything. Not too much modern furniture that I could see.
I’ve gone there multiple times trying to buy a living room set but have been told the wrong information about a sale and then they lost my credit approval papers online so I was stuck for 2 days dealing with a credit company making sure they didn’t run my credit again. The one Bright side was a sales rep named Scott he was very helpful finally on my 3rd visit to the store.

I had a great experience on my recent visit at Ashley’s in Gilbert, Az! I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted but the sales rep named Paul priced everything my picky heart desired and was so patient about it lol He made it an easy process after all ☺️ Very well mannered !
Great in store service from Ed. He was helpful and didn't rush me. Bought two couches and other pieces. 5 stars to the store. Delivery came and this is why I give 2 stars. My two accent chairs were brought in house without plastic covers on them. The gentleman carrying them in carried both resting on top of his head - his sweaty head (Phoenix AZ). I immediately pointed out to the "lead delivery guy" the wet round spots from the other guys head. He shrugged his shoulders and said, its hot. I said, I understand but....I don't want these spots- what can we do? He said we will send someone to come clean them. To me, he insinuated I could not send them back because of this. He made it seem like my Only recourse was to have them cleaned. On top of all this, not once was an apology given by either delivery person. My other issue is the sectional couch with a chaise lounge started wobbling and Squeaking whenever someone adult or child would sit on that part of the couch. I called customer service to report the spots on my chairs and the chaise Lounge issue. I was on hold 37 minutes before I talk to someone. But never mind that, when I told the representative everything I had gone through not once did she say I'm sorry to hear that and gosh I'm sorry for your experience let's try to make this better. All she said is can't get someone out there till next week can you make that work. I was not impressed to say the least. So....I wait a few more days before someone comes to evaluate my situation. I sure hope Ashley makes it right. I bought from them 12 years ago and had a great experience and was hoping this time would be the same- so far - not looking that way. I will update post and star rating depending on outcome. As of now - buyer beware
Paul was THE BEST and made our experience so much better than anticipated. He made sure we left with the best deal possible and felt comfortable with our couch purchase. We had to have it delivered about a month after we actually bought it and he coordinated everything, even when the couch had to be delivered in steerage shipments. Paul is THE BEST person to work with and we will definitely be going back to that location to work with him on all of our furniture needs. Ask for Paul when you go and he will definitely take care of you!

We had the privilege of working with Lawrence and Sharon, as well as Robert in finance and Mike the floor manager on separate occasions. It needs to be said that the caliber of professionalism and friendliness is beyond compare with these awesome employees. We continue to return and give our business because of their attention to our needs and we walk out feeling like we have made friends rather than just buying furniture. One could not ask for a better experience!

Me and my wife went in to purchase a couch and the salesman Paul was great. They have a solid selection of furniture and we will return in the future.
We had phenomenal service in the store however this is where it ended. Their delivery is a complete cluster!! We placed 2 orders over $5500. One item was delivered damaged. The delivery was a no show 2x On the third delivery the item was delivered without damage HOWEVER it was delivered over an hour outside of the timeframe. When they delivered the chest one of the delivery men had a difficult time and hit the wall 3x. When i immediately pointed it out, Jose (lead) became argumentative and refuses to take pictures. I asked for his manager's name and he initially agreed but then became noncompliant, coming back onto the property without permission - ignored both requests to leave and refused to provide me with his full name, manager name or call his supervisor. It was not until I prepared to call non emergency that he took photos and left. This is a delivery team that should not be allowed in customers homes. *** Full transparency Ashley customer service offered $50 credit in an attempt to remedy the situation. I refused the $ and asked for the complaint to be escalated so that no one else is put in this situation should they order from Ashley's.
My wife and I have been saving up for a sectional at Ashley Furniture for over a year to pay in cash. We had our sights on it for awhile. We bought it back in April, 2019. It arrived weeks later, partial order, the chaise was backordered. When the chaise finally arrived, it was broken. So we waited for a new one again. Days later we noticed the chaise cushion felt off from the display, like way worse. A store salesman told us the foam density could be off and to call in and they'd replace it. They did, but just sent the foam. We also had tears forming along the other cushions of the sectional within a month of having it. A technician came out twice to inspect it, and he was rude each time. We also had him inspect how one section of the sectional was lower than the rest of the couch, and he said that was normal. No, it's not normal. We've had multiple cushion covers replaced now, they only send the covering, not new cushions. The fabric is already diminishing and forming little fuzzy balls and thinning. I've contacted the manager of the local Mesa AZ store and the first time I called I got hung up on, someone answered and said, "Oh my God" and hung up. The next day I called and someone told me the manager I needed to speak to wasn't there, did not know his schedule, and even has to ask another employee his name, which they told me Daniel. I was told twice they'd leave messages and took my info. I've asked to get the sectional replaced in whole because nothing has gone right with it. I've yet to hear back and it's been over a month.
Our experience with Ashley Furniture has been a nightmare! We purchased a dining set with 4 chairs and a bench. It was delivered and the guys setting up the table said the screws were stripped and had to take it back. After they left we noticed two of the chairs were damaged and called customer service. They had us text pictures of the damage and said they would contact us soon. Heard nothing for several days so called again and they said they would send a repair kit and would have to call for a service person to come. Nothing arrived but I got a delivery for a bench which we didn't need! We were put through to customer service again and assured we would get a call for an exchange of two chairs. Again, no call. Called again and said they would try to set up delivery for the end of the week, no call back. Called again and said a supervisor had the order and asked to speak to the supervisor but she was on another call and would call me back. No call! Needless to say, NEVER shop at this store! We are still trying to resolve this issue and are so frustrated!
Just got done purchasing a chair with Mary who was wonderful easy to work with took very good care of me. I'm actually getting my chair delivered the very next day from the Gilbert store which is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend you come visit this store.
Absolutely awful customer service, I will never be shopping at a Ashley Home Store furniture store again. To start the original furniture delivery was a week late. The dresser showed up with damage so the furniture was rejected. I was assured that I would be contacted by customer service to reschedule a replacement. 3 days later I had heard nothing so I called, waited on the phone for 30 minutes only to be and told I would receive a phone call to reschedule. And again I was forced to call the next day because I never got a call only hear the same. So again I called. Then I had found out the reason I had not received my replacement was because it had apparently never been off loaded off the truck. Once more I was promised I would get a call at least by the end of the day to reschedule. So what did I need to do? You guessed it, call two days later and wait on the phone for another 30 minutes. It wasn’t until this time that after complaining for another 30 minutes did I get the same call back promise. Fortunately the customer service rep did do as he promised and called me twice more to update me over the next two days and make sure I got my delivery. Unfortunately this wasn’t the end of my Ashley Home experience. The day I received my dresser it had a shallow 12” scratch at the bottom. Being desperate for my furniture and assured I would get a tech to my house to fix it I accepted. I then of course had to call one more time after hearing nothing. I had also discussed compensation for this complete waste of time which I was promised “at least $50” but would have to be “called back after getting approval”. Here I sit 3 days later with no call. This experience is hands down the worst I’ve ever had with a company, I have zero expectations of ever using Ashley again and will make sure to warn anyone that might consider buying from them, hope your furniture is perfect and on time because you will get no help!
Went to Ashley's for a love seat. Service was wonderful and the sales rep Showed me a bunch of love seats and even gave us a nice discount when i finally picked the perfect one setup a delivery in a two day.Delivery reps came at the agreed time and setup the love seat, tested all the electric power recliners within 10 minutes. Guy's where courteous and professional.Excellent from a to zVery happy with Ashley's
Walked into this beautiful new Ashley and the salesperson Tito Anderson was very helpful and understanding. I really felt like they cared and Mike the manager was such an amazing help finding what I needed. Definitely my future furniture store.

Nice Looking But Inexpensive Veneered Particle Board Furniture. So to be clear, this is the place to go on a budget for nice looking furniture that is not usually super high quality but does look like it is. This is the place to get furniture for a place you plan to leave in a few years and not intend to haul your crazy expensive furniture with you when you leave. We bought a bedroom set a few years back and I didn't realize it was particle board with a super nice looking veneer coating on the outside until I nicked it and saw the inside sawdust wood. For what the price is, it is what it is and that is really all that it is. I don't like the marked up price tags, and fake sales all the time to sort though. It's like buying a car and having to negotiate your bedroom set and I would rather just see the lower price, choose something and move on. All in all I give them 3.75 stars, but not enough for 4.
Customer service is good in the stores but their customer service afterwards is very subpar. I bought furniture and a piece came damaged and the delivery guy tried not to point it out. A month later my son purchased a complete L/R and one piece was also damaged and another was the wrong item. He has had 3 delivery attempts of which on one Ashley cancelled after the window passed and on the other two attempts they again brought the wrong item.
Stopped by the New Gilbert on Williamsfield was disappointed with the selection they had on recliners I asked to see the sales ad from the Sunday paper they had many different ads but not the one I was referring to with the recliners on the back top of the page that said Overstock Sale! It seemed as if the sales person didn’t seem to believe me about the ad I had seen. So I left the store. Wish I could of attached the ad to show them.
Codee was very helpful and the selection was huge. Bought all new furniture for our vacation home. Highly recommend you come see for yourself!
Absolutely a phenomenal overall experience. We are a repeat Ashley customer. We previously visted a different valley location with a less than positive experience, no more needing to be said; faith was restored and expectations exceeded with the Gilbert location, hands down will only visit this location for any future furniture needs and recommend the same to anyone in the valley, this location is the one to go to. The salesman Codee was friendly, understanding and expeditious in all aspects of our order, we spent no less than 15 mins in the store to complete our purchase. In addition, sales manager Mike was accommodating and beyond fair and friendly when it came to negotiating the final price. Again, this experience was fantastic and we appreciate both Codee and Mike for their service and fairness during our purchase, negotiations were quick and fair. We will see them soon for our next furniture purchase and recommend others to do so.
The new Ashley HomeStore in Gilbert is AWESOME! It's beautifully laid out, all the selections are currently in style, and all the employees are so nice and helpful! Management was right there in the mix, helping out. Love that place!
Do NOT ever shop here. First I was hounded every five feet, then I was harassed by the most aggressive salesman Kris. I can't tell you how many times I told him I didn't want anything after I didn't qualify for the interest free financing on a mattress. BUT he was very proud of himself to inform me that he got me a blah blah limit with another financial institution at 35% interest after 6 months. He would not take no thank you for an answer and followed me around until I finally did purchase something I needed. Guess what? He claims to have gotten me a deal on a bed frame and mattress but charged me two separate delivery fees for the same day delivery and double on the bed frame which was listed online for $500 less. When I called to cancel my order and get my deposit back, these people wouldn't give me my money back unless I take time out of my day to go down there so they can pressure me into buying something else! At the end of the day I ended up keeping the mattress but I still couldn't get my deposit on the bed frame back. They just applied it to the mattress. The furniture is good, but just buy it online. Update: The scam artist Kris told me I would be receiving a free pillow and mattress protector for the purchase of a mattress. After having the delivery of my mattress completely messed up, I go to the store to straighten things out and I discover that I'm being charged $500 extra for the pillow and mattress pad. When I questioned kris at the time of purchase why these were showing up as charges, he assured me it was standard and these items would be voided by his manager. The completely rude and condescending manager I spoke with, Russle, criticizes me over and over again about signing a receipt with charges that weren't voided. Customer service rep Becca and Alicia are just as rude and unhelpful. I will be filing complaints with AF, the owner of the franchise, the BBB, and AG as soon as possible. Don't shop here!!
Went to the grand opening at the new Ashley Home Store at San Tan AZ. Great store and selection. Prices were really good also. The best part of all was working with Jessica and Mike. Jessica was nice and knowledgable. Jessica let us go, look around and test it out. Mike, manager, was as gracious and kind As well. He worked with us and we purchased the furniture. I highly recommend to all. Come see Jessica and Mike at Ashley Home Store at San Tan AZ.
Walked into the store, seemed clean and the employees seemed nice. I found a piece I liked- so I checked the price online. Asked an employee if the price I saw in store was the sale price. They said they absolutely couldn’t go any lower as it was a “manager special”. Then proceeded to show the website where it was $200 cheaper. Blew my mind that the employees and the store couldn’t match the actual Ashley website pricing. Seemed like a rip off to me. I’d advise anyone going in the store to check online. Don’t worry- they’ll match their own prices if you ask.

The people at this store are clueless when it comes to assisting customers. We purchased a couch and loveseat where one of the pieces arrived damaged and the leather was sooo thin where the rips occurred so we asked for a refund. For the price the value was poor. The store agreed to take the items back for a refund but charged us $499.98 in delivery fees. The item was damaged and needed to be picked up...why are we paying for pick up? I agree that we should pay for the 1st delivery but why the pick up? After the items were picked up we were told to return to the story to receive the refund. We went into the store 7 hours after the item was picked up and were told that we needed to come back the next day. What a waste of 1 1/2 hours of our time. We returned the next day and it took quite some time for someone to figure out to issue a refund. We had purchased from this store many times in the past however NEVER again. I would not recommend items at any Ashley due to poor quality and the customer service at this store is very poor.
This store is a big rip off, my wife found a bedroom set on ashley furniture website she liked. Stopped in the store and was told there having a 50 percent off everything sale so that works out perfect right? Then we get home and started looking at the prices the in store charged us, they did do 50 percent off but not on the inline price. Every piece we bought they put the original price at 300. 00 to 600. 00 more then 50 percent off that. Just went back in the store to talk to them about adjusting the prices and making it right. Manager tell us that there all franchised and that there was nothing saying the Ashley furniture wed site we had looked at was even a legit Ashley website that anyone could own that web domain they would either keep it at what we paid or they can take the 50 percent off and sell it at the website price that they wont match the price and do 50 percent off that they have over head that the website doesnt have. This place is a scam dont fall for there 50 percent off sales they just upsale the retail price and was over charging us over 700. 00 over what we should have paid. We just got a refund and will never be back ever. . . .
I was a very loyal Ashley customer for many years. I am incredibly disappointed. I had a leather couch and love seat that we purchased WITH an extended warranty. I was consistently happy with the service that was provided with the leather that faded prematurely. After the second time it faded, Ashley decided to replace the couch. When they delivered the new set, they said I should just call at my convenience to put the extended warranty back on the new couch. I called today to find out they use an insurance company and because it was more than 10 days after delivery, they will not take my money for an extended warranty. Due to your policies, you lost another lifetime customer. I hope you go back to a service oriented organization.
Buyer beware! I don't know what happened to this place but they clearly don't care about their customers as much as they used to. They shipped us the wrong replacement parts for a broken item 5 different times before we decided to just throw in the towel and cut our losses. So now we are stuck with a $100.00 bill that they still refuse to refund (even though we never received any of the parts we ordered), and the item is still broken!
One of the worst buying experiences I have ever had. I ordered a couch on 3/23/19 and was assured I would have it in no later than 6 weeks. Salesperson was aloof and I even asked her at one point if we were bothering her! Should have left then. Got a call the couch was ready a few days before the 6 week mark and was told not asked the delivery date. That date was not convenient and when I asked for a new date, I was told the earliest was 2 weeks later! A few days before the rescheduled date I called to confirm and was told the couch was back ordered. Huh??? I was then given another delivery date one week later. A couple days before that date I was called and told oh, sorry, the couch not ready. Now I have a new delivery date for 5/31, nearly 10 WEEKS since I placed my order. We'll see!!
I do not like when the sale men follow you around the store. I like to shop in peace and if I have questions then I will ask for help. It was so creepy everywhere I went the salesmen would pop up with facts about the couch and how we could add to the couch when we didn't even decide we wanted it. If you like pushy salesmen come here. American furniture warehouse is cheaper, better, and had a pleasant environment where you can peacefully shop.
Love these guys!!! We bought the furniture for our entire 3,000 Sq Ft home in 2006. We recently went back in last week and were greeted by Matthew, who was so friendly and educated. I hogged a bunch of his time as I was learning about the newest mattresses best for lumbar support. Matthew gave us even more time when I brought my husband back to try the new adjustable beds. We will be back to go through him now and in the future. He is a prime example of an extraordinary sales person.
I will NEVER shop at Ashley they have screwed up the delivery 3 times now poor customer service and support supposed to get calls back and they never call try to call them and get the run around save yourself a lot of disappointment and not shop there
Bought my furniture a month ago and still waiting on part of my order. They've rescheduled my delivery twice because it is on backorder. I can see a week or two but backorder over a month is ridiculous. Sales rep was great, but when you can't provide the products that are bought when they were committed to be available it is deceiving. Don't trust any delivery dates or make plans around having furniture when buying from Ashley Furniture.
I'm so happy with the furniture and art work I've received from the store. The ordering process was easy (than online with more customized options available) and the in store selection is great. The manager Ryan is always ready to help and the store has a good team.
