I have recently purchased several pieces of furniture from Ashley’s and have been completely satisfied with the quality of the furniture. The sales personnel are helpful and very knowledgeable. I never feel pressured to purchase. They let you look around and shop, but are always available to answer questions. I highly recommend Ashley’s Furniture
The staff were very helpful in helping me pick out my bedroom furniture and gave me great customer service. They got everything set up for me in a timely fashion it made me feel comfortable with my purchase. I will definitely shop with Ashley home store again
We had a wonderful experience here! Our salesperson was helpful and not at all pushy, and was very knowledgeable about the products offered. Will definitely shop there again when ready for more new furniture.
I dealt with Charles at the Tempe store. He is very personable, respectful, and aware of what look you are trying to create in your home. This makes it a lot easier to find things that I think will fit together. Charles is very honest and willing to work with you as long as needed. Charles never rushes you and recommends items to you. This is my second dealing with Charles and I highly recommend him to my family and friends.
It was a great day furniture shopping at your store. Gary the sales person that helped us was a true and professional salesman. It took a long time for us to make up our minds and changing from one style to another. But Gary was cool and calm and worked with us till the end of our shopping and purchasing. We’ll be back for more shopping to furnish our new home with your store products and make sure Gary will be there to help us. Sincerely, Mario & Nancy From Marana Arizona
Amazing sales right now for Labor day...everything half off! We bought a reclyner, a sofa and a dinning set...fantastic deals. customer service was excellent. No pressure. No sales people harassing you. We were helped by Evelyn and she is really great, she got us a great deal and she was super friendly and helpful. We had a great experience there, thank you Evelyn!
Emily was helpful and very sweet. I had the wrong number for the warehouse, but drove there anyway. The desk and warehouse team were friendly, helpful and quick. Thank you.
We had plenty of help, but the selection of furniture is not way good. That being said, my wife and I bought a couch while we were there, but mostly because it was cheaper than what we could find elsewhere. That’s not to say we don’t like the couch, but with our limited budget, it was the best option, despite not being exactly what we would choose if we were rolling in the dough. They were having a 50% off sale, which also contributed to our choice. The staff helping us was very helpful and knowledgeable, but not too pushy. We really did have a very positive experience. The only downside really was that the selection is not our favorite, but there were things we liked.
Very helpful sales associates. They stayed nearby in case you had questions, but didn't hover and make you feel uncomfortable. They didn't have a floor model for the recliner I was looking at, but he did a great job showing me sets with the same level of cushioning and type of upholstery so I could make and well informed decision.
It's a nice showroom but hate being followed around by salesmen.
I bought a leather couch in December of 2019. I am literally the only person to sit on it, up to 5 hours per day. Every month I sat on a different cushion, to even out wear. One of the cushions has 2 open cracks just from me sitting on it already, right where the cushion gives way when sat on. The quality of these cushions is worse than any couch I've ever owned. It's shameful that inferior products like these can even be advertised.
Items were a bit pricey, but I do love my sectional. Had a great in-store experience, and them some serious issues with delivery and customer service. 2/3 of my couch was delivered on the agreed upon day, and I did not find out that the other 1/3 was missing until the delivery people were in my home and told me. Rescheduling that deliver for the other 1/3 was a nightmare, and there was zero communication. Luckily I just happened to be home when I got the automated notification that they would be there that day. Called corporate and was told that this is unacceptable and they will be refunding my delivery charges. That never happened, and the store said the best they could do was mail me a gift card. Which they also never did. I brought this up and they didn't do anything about it, again. For as much as I paid for delivery, I expect more.
We purchased a living room set less than a year ago with a service package to cover any damage from pets and kids. I have tried to get assistance for months and every time I call I sit on hold and no one answers the phone. Called the warranty line and they couldn't help because they didn't have all the furniture on file. So I get to hunt down information from the store who never answers. I'd go to the location but it is over an hour away. Horrible service.
They claim to be a furniture store but literally nothing was in stock. Everything had a 12-week backorder. They also sell for higher prices than their own website. Go there, find what you like, then buy it online. Better yet, just go to another furniture store.
Customer service was great, but that's where the good news ends. We bought a two computer desks for our place (8/22) and after reviewing all the paper work and, ultimately, making the purchase; the salesman gave us a date on which it would either be shipped on or arrived on. He said that if we didn't receive it by the printed date (8/27) it would be just a few more days out. It's now (9/1) and we still haven't heard anything from anybody. So, we text the salesman for some information. He comes back and says the delivery will be around (9/15).... for two UNASSEMBLED computer desks. Feeling a little angry, we called the main building and found out that the delivery date was going to be sometime in November. Needless to say, we didn't get any email regarding any delays or changes in delivery times, so if we didn't call or inquire about it, we would be in the dark not knowing anything on when we might get our desks. Long story short - we canceled. Shop here only if you want long waiting times and don't have any expectations on when you might receive what you've paid for.
I set up a delivery date in the store to be two days after I purchased the nightstands. I let them know my address was not in GPS and to call me directly for directions. The driver showed up at the wrong address 30 minutes away. The driver had me speak to customer service to give them the directions which I did. Then the driver just never showed up. The customer service team called me the next day in which I had to wait 30 minutes and go through this whole thing again. I finally hung up and I guess they are scheduling me a week from now, which makes no sense. Everything is done electronically with them and there is no room for things that are out of the ordinary.
I'll start with the bad, so I can end on a good note. When we placed our order, the we were told the table set was on back order - ok, no problem. Two months later with no contact from Ashley at all, I tried to call in to get in touch. No luck. The phone to the local store rings a couple times then transfers to corporate in Florida, and while the person there was very nice they can't access the computers of the Arizona stores and were therefore totally useless. Why transfer me to someplace that can't do anything, I'd rather wait on hold and eventually get through. So I went into the store and was given a date one month later. When the date got close I hadn't heard anything so I tried calling in again with the same bad luck. I tried the online chat, and over the space of 45 minutes was finally given a date one month in the future. . That date got close so I called in again and this time got through to the local store! Unfortunately they said they had no record of the promised date, and the tables were not there. I voiced my frustration and they kindly offered to refund $150 for making me wait yet another couple weeks , but at least I had a date from the local store now. That time got close and I got a voice message from them (first time in the four months since we ordered that they called me) telling the the date was being moved again, just a couple weeks - to July 4th. That was not a great date for us so I called in again - couldn't get through again, so I went in to the store again. The person was able to move it up with a specific date and told me he had record of the promised refund which would occur after the final delivery. That delivery date came and so did my furniture. Yay. But, no refund. I waited a month to give them a chance then tried to call in. As usual I got through to Florida no problem, and the corporate representative even tried to call the local store for me three times with no luck. So, following the now established pattern I went into the store to ask about it - they checked the records, found it, and put in some paperwork. Within two weeks (five months after our order) we have the refund. Summarizing the bad: - there was no contact from Ashley to us about our delayed back order; -I was unable to get a hold of anyone by phone (corporate doesn't count) other than once. - back-ordered tables took five months - promised refund would not have been given if I hadn't gone in to ask Now the good. The shopping experience was good; the sales representative was very helpful and patient. The products look nice; though I think they are a little light in construction, they should be fine if we are careful with them. The price for the set we got seems reasonable, lower than I was expecting. And I want to emphasize that in spite of my complaints above about the company's customer service, every single person I talked to was very friendly, polite, and helpful.
I was highly disappointed with my visit to this Ashley Furniture today. My fiancé and I came in looking for a bedroom set, cash in-hand and ready to buy. Absolutely nobody helped us, or even greeted us. And this store was NOT understaffed. A salesman even walked directly in front of us to catch up to an older couple to ask if they needed help. Another salesman stared at my fiancé as we tried to figure out what was included in a bedroom set that we loved. I can’t help but think that nobody helped us as we were the youngest couple there, probably assuming we weren’t serious buyers. This store lost $4k in sales today due to the lack of customer service we received. We found a set that we wanted to buy, but nobody wanted to help us. We left and bought an entire bedroom set at another store down the street.
Sales experience was good but my god the customer service is terrible. It’s actually almost funny how terrible it is. We bought a couch June 13th and still waiting for a delivery date. Actually we had one, it was confirmed and then that day came and no delivery. After 45 minutes on the phone shuffling between people they finally said it was sold to someone else and we’re on back order again until mid September. They told us they sold it to someone else! Lol. Will never shop here again. I understand supply chain issues but the customer service is so so awful and inexcusable. Avoid avoid avoid.
