Ashley Furniture has been our go to spot for furnishing our apartments over the years. We've had great experiences, my most recent was the best, Antwan Vaughn Jr. made the process super simple and he clearly and concisely provided us with all the information we needed pertaining to the product and how it gets delivered.

We visited the Ashley home store in Tempe. We were greeted with a nice smile & firm hand shake from Nate Lindgren. He asked what we were looking for, found us the perfect furniture & let us have our space to look & decide. Once we had decided on our pieces…he was very helpful with all questions, and we were sold!! All done within 45 minutes. Our recommendation would be to come see Nate!!!!!

We had the best customer service at this store today. My husband and I were greeted by Vartan and he directed us to exactly what we were looking for. He was very attentive to our needs and gave us some great ideas for our furniture choices. he helped us find great items within our budget. It made us very happy with our selection. He was very knowledgeable with every items that we purchased.After finalizing everything Vartan even helped us load three pieces of the furniture that we were able to take home that day into our car. This is the worst customer service I have ever received after spending thousands of hours dollars of furniture. They have canceled my delivery over 5 times now. They dropped off a head board and no bed frame/ headboard. I can’t even get the actual office to help me cancel the freaking order. Horrible location horrible customer service. I am fed up and being charged for product I never received . If you can see this Ashley’s furniture you should do better and reach out to your customer

We have a coffee table that cracked where the leg was due to a knot in the wood. Jennifer was very helpful. Since we purchased a warranty she took our information and we will be contacted to either repair or replace our table. She was fast and efficient.

Greeted by James - he showed us where to find recliners and let us try them and left us alone to test the different recliners. He was not far away once we decided which one to buy. Thanks for the experience.

Joselyn was amazing! We had a great experience shopping, found all the bedroom sets we needed . She was very knowledgeable and thorough in getting all of the pieces that we needed put together. I loved that she was patient and no high pressure sell. Her manager was great to work with as well. We can't wait for our furniture to arrive! The only down side about this store is their delivery time, even though the items we ordered were in stock, there is at least 10 days out for delivery, that's a little bit long, need to work on that Ashley's! We recently purchased at another chain store and our furniture was delivered within a day.

To all who visit this Ashley store. My fiance and I needed furniture. Although I was apprehensive about the environment at first, Vartan really stepped up and helped to make me feel at ease. He made me a wishlist and let me try so many beds and couches. Then I was back a second time to verify and make the final decision. I had a place to buy the furniture much cheaper but Ashley store matched the price. Would have been $5500 at the store, but they matched my price of $3000. So awesome. Being a military member, I appreciated the care and patience and the non-pushiness. I will recommend this store to anyone. Thanks to the team at Ashley. Being in transition from another duty station, it's nice to have one piece of the puzzle fit so well.

Most unprofessionally sales person I have ever found at furniture store. Once I paid, he never responded my calls or msg… delivery three times changed, delivered Brocken items… issues is they hire third party for delivery, so you no choice other then reach out to store sales manager… They charged my card multiple times for same items

Went to look for a bed and found one. Actually, I knew which one I wanted based on looking on their website first. The salesperson who helped me was very knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions. Fast delivery, too. Looked on a Monday and delivery will be Friday. (Could have been sooner, but I was not available sooner.)

The selection was great and we ended getting almost everything we needed. Vartan especially was really nice and helpful. We were a little late to the store but he made sure that we weren't rushed and he was very knowledgeable, knowing exactly what to look for based on our descriptions!

Stay away, be aware. Very unethical sales practices bought an item from here and they insisted I didn’t have to look through the packaging to make sure everything was in there. Get home and there’s multiple missing pieces and broken pieces called the store and they said I’m basically stuck with it!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE

It seems large, but they only really had couches. The staff was nice and left us alone - which is preferred and better than other similar stores where they follow you like vultures.

Beware. They are a business that price matches. BUT they tell you they can only price match if you buy the warranty. Went in and the sales person had the manager come to speak to us. Specifically stated if I have to go that low on a price i have to add a warranty so that corporate won’t say anything, this is the only way I can sell the set to you for. Really???? I can go to the business where your price matching and just purchase their for that price and no warranty. Be careful for their sales tactics. After reading the reviews on their warranty it’s not worth it. Buyer beware

As I read the reviews on here, I realize that everyone received great service. My wife and I did too, even when they sold us the expensive protection plan. However when we developed issues with the sofa they were not as helpful. Everyone blamed everyone else, we had two people who claimed to be store managers ( no business card or name tag) each on directing us to corporate without trying to help. One even told us we could leave the store because he couldn’t help us. what a difference in treatment. Never have I been so disappointed. I have spent over 17 years in management and I would never treat anyone the way we were treated. This will go up the chain. I promise

My experience with Ashley-- Tempe, Mesa & Gilbert, has been fantastic. My husband and I were looking for barstools over the past few months, and they were not bought until we went to Ashley's - but just to look! The deal was not only great, but the service was outstanding (not kidding!) we dealt with the 3 locations mentioned and bought from all 3. No pressure, just guidance. I don't know why we didn't consider Ashley earlier!

Wow! From the moment my family and I walked through the door of Ashley's Furniture store the hospitality began. We were greeted politely by a member of the sales team without any added pressure that salespeople can sometimes apply. We were shopping for a few kids' beds that we saw online but they were no longer in shock; well of course clearance items go fast. But to my surprise, the saleswoman showed me similar beds slightly higher-priced. She contacted her manager and he was willing to work with us and matched the online price of the clearance item, seeing that it was still posted. We are far from rich and the help we got from this store's team did come in handy. So from my family to yours thanks Ashley's. You want friendly, fast and reliable service with a great selection of items for your home I do recommend Ashley's. I mean seriously, who doesn't want to be treated well when you go into any store?

We went to Ashley looking for countertop barstools since we love our leather couches we purchased a few years ago. We were greeted by Hanan and she directed us to where they were located in the store. She then followed up with us to see if we had found any that we were interested in purchasing. The pair we wanted to purchase were out of stock. She suggested that she could order them for us and have them shipped to our home which was perfectly acceptable for us. She was so helpful. We received our barstools within days of ordering. Hanan is a great asset to your store!

Best option is no stars. Delivery guys don’t speak any English. Used an impact driver to screw in pieces together and split one of the supports along with stripping out another hole. This was needed for an event this weekend and the best I was told is maybe sometime 8hrs later they will process the return and then check the schedule, which will most likely be a week out. It’s been a while since I’ve shopped at Ashley due to the poor customer service and wow I guess some things never change.

Jacary has to be the kindest soul I have met in my life. Not only did him and Luna furnish my whole home. I got to learn about jacary and his story. Do you know that jacary is a leading salesman for this Fortune 500 company. His first year he was able to deliver 1.6 million never being in this industry and I can tell you how. Great low pressure sales experience

Part of my experience was good, the salesman helped while we were in store & then I was able to call back later & order the table & chairs we wanted. The bad, the order was placed with a delivery date 5 weeks in the future because our new house isn't ready. Also we live in a remote town where delivery isn't available so I used my sister's local address for delivery. Our intention was to visit my sister for the delivery so the boxes wouldn't be a problem. Well, the chairs were dropped off about 5 days after purchase & the table was dropped off 3 days later. No notice that delivery was scheduled. No one was home at my sister's, the boxes were just left at the front door. Very disappointed with the delivery.

Bought a $4k mattress PLUS the extended 5 year warranty, which supposedly covered ANY kind of damage except anything pet related. This is the information that was verbally relayed to me by the salesperson who eagerly took all my money, and it is also the information that is listed on the “Premium Protection Plan” pamphlet I received which details the terms of my coverage, as per the plan that we PAID EXTRA FOR. This incredibly expensive mattress is now unbearable to sleep on, and has a very evident sagging spot which clearly shows internal damage to the structure of it. No one I talk to seems to be keen on helping me. Manufacturer claims that I have to file a claim through Ashley since they are a verified retail partner, and part of the agreement Ashley enters into as Sealy trusts them to sell their products, is that Ashley handles all manufacturer warranty claims for the items they sell. Yet Ashley tells me the warranty is only good for 1 year even though the manufacturer’s website says their mattresses have a 10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY. Never mind the fact that on Ashley’s website I can clearly see that Sleeper Mattresses have a THREE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY through Ashley’s own policies. Yet I am told that unfortunately they cannot do anything because it is past a year since purchase!!! And GBS, the third party warranty company that I literally paid extra for, all under guise of them supposedly covering ALL ITEMS I PURCHASED, and ALL KINDS OF NON PET RELATED DAMAGE, also refuses to do anything about this. This is absolutely freaking outrageous. We have purchased multiple items from Ashley and have spent well over $10k at this store, the sales rep who helped us made several mistakes including selling us the completely wrong couch claiming that it had features which it clearly did not. We let it slide because it seemed like too much of a hassle to return the couch once delivered and assembled. We thought maybe it was just a forgivable case of negligence due to her being new, but I am starting to wonder if everyone at Ashley just says whatever needs to be said in order to secure a sale, and once they have your thousands of dollars in their hand they couldn’t care less about you or your problems! I literally just got off the phone with the manufacturer of the mattress, and they verified that my mattress should be covered for 10 years, and Ashley is supposed to comply with the manufacturer’s warranty as they are still an active retail partner. Which means that everyone I have talked to at Ashley Furniture is LYING in order to avoid paying out for a defective item they sold me. You are so much better off buying things directly from a manufacturer who will actually stand by their product instead of trying to wash their hands clean of any issue that comes up once your money has been eagerly taken. Ashley Furniture will NOT stand by any of the promises they make you in the store, nor will they stand by the warranty policies that are blatantly stated on their own website, nor any of the agreements that they come to with manufacturers who are trusting them to sell their products as they are supposed to be a reputable business that manufacturers can entrust their retail operations to. I am so thoroughly disappointed and enraged by this whole ordeal. We dropped over $4k on a mattress because our old 10 year old one was terrible to sleep on, only for the new one to become even more uncomfortable than the old one in less than two years of purchase, and NO ONE at Ashley will do anything to help us, which is defrauding both me AND the manufacturer whose policies they are supposed to be abiding by. Ashley Furniture is nothing but a bunch of crooks who will say whatever they need to say in order to get your money and once your money is in their grubby little paws they will go back on every promise and policy that is meant to protect you :) Spend your cash here at your own risk!

I purchased a sectional couch on black Friday and was confirmed delivery on 12/2/2023 waited for delivery all day and nothing. No one had the courtesy to contact me and say that it was rescheduled for 12/9/2023 and to top it off it wasn't even in stock. Talk about bait and switch. My 85 year mom has to sit on a fold out chair to watch TV because we have no couch.

Joselyn was extremely helpful for me and my pregnant wife. We moved into a new home with only a few months to prepare before the baby was born. Visiting the Tempe Ashley location was stress-free, positive, and so easy whereas it could have been quite the opposite at another furniture store. We are incredibly grateful for the service and quality of furniture we received. We will absolutely be returning to this location to see Joselyn and the team again.

Today 11/25/2023 at 4:30pm we went to Ashley to get a dining set and living room set that we been eyeing on their website, we found out the dining set is available “on floor” as they call but the living room set we wanted is not available on floor, so we keep looking for an alternative, but this lady I forgot her name, she’s in a Italian/middle eastern decent told my husband that if we are not going to buy that we should leave because she can’t move forward to the next client if we are still there. We are stunned but we decided to just leave but we ask the guy in the front (I believe his name is Jacary) if it’s in their policy to ask a customer to leave just because we taking our time to look for furniture, like we only just been there for like 15 minutes, we end up buying a set of dining and living room at American Furniture Warehouse in Gilbert, we like Ashley but just stay away from that sales representative lady in a Italian/middle eastern decent.

I was Helped by a sales representative by the name of Nate. He went above and beyond with out orders not trying to upsell us but trying to make sure we got into the right bed that we wanted. Our order was recently back logged till January 2024 and he called us without us having to reach out to find a resolution to getting what we purchased sooner. He ended up being able to get us most of our order without us having to wait till January. He went above and beyond to make sure that we have and had a good experience.

We got our couch and coffee table in June or July when we moved to our new house. We had a nice gentleman, Jacary, help us. He got a great deal for us. We just bought matching end tables today and were helped by Jacary again. We’ve bought other items from Ashley and we have always been pleased.

My fiancé and I came in looking for furniture for our new place and Phong welcomed us in and asked what we were looking for and we told him we were just looking around for now. As we were looking around there was a second Asian man who worked there seeming to follow us around (I hadn’t noticed yet). Terrible service! Liars and rude employees. A mgr implied I didn’t have the money to buy my furniture, then salesman lied about the chairs being leveled before delivery, then the delivery guy put my white leather chair together on the sidewalk outside when he had a full clean room to work in, then dispatch was rude and had very limited availability for a tech to come fix the leveling and a mgr called a did nothing but try to continue the lies then back tracked because I called her out,! Ridiculous 0/5 stars. I will never again buy from Ashley, they should be ashamed of themselves for lying to their customers like that!

I went in wanting to purchase a Mattress. I was very clear that I am a Side Sleeper with Scoliosis. The associate that helped was very kind, however I am not sure how well informed she is. To start off, beware that the beds on the floor have been used for an extended period of time - therefore they will not feel that way when your purchase them. The bed I tried out felt ten times softer and more comfortable, as if it’s been used for several years in comparison to the bed I purchased. I was told it would be in a box rolled up and easy for pickup, it was not. It was in a plastic bag, I ended up having to pay someone to help deliver as I was misinformed by the associate. I have had this bed for a couple weeks and my 400 dollar mattress I had prior was more comfortable on day one than this 1300 Dollar mattress. I have been experiencing shoulder pain, neck pain, numbing of my arms, tossing and turning due to the firmness of this mattress. Go try out beds, then do your own research, unless you know the sales associate from prior experience. Unfortunately, they do not allow returns even though I have claimed this to be defective and it was falsely advertised…. I’ll have to purchase another mattress, attempt to sell this one losing a bit of money in the process.

After giving me a few directions I appreciated that my sales person let me browse the store on my own. When I was ready he joined me to answer a few questions, and to complete my purchase SMOOTH.

They have a variety of kitchen tables. And the PRICES are very reasonable. And to my surprise, I got a table that sits 4, for under 600.00. Which includes delivery and 5 year guarantee. It was delivered the following day at 8:15 am. Delivery personal, are also very nice and professional. They came in, assembled the table, set it up within 10 to 15 minutes. I had gone to look at coffee tables and side tables with my boyfriend and Jacary was the one to be helping us out. It seemed like he was in a rush to sell us something and while we were looking around he told us that everything was gonna start around at least 200/300 as everything was wood. He said that Bob’s discount store in the clearance part was probably going to have more what we were looking for. I didn’t really appreciate that comment at all, we are a young couple but that doesn’t mean we don’t have money to spend. And it sure doesn’t mean that I want broken or scratched furniture from the clearance section. It felt like a moment out of pretty women, especially since we had found a couple things we liked and were going to purchase but hadn’t told him yet. We decided to come back the next day and we’re helped by Handa, she was amazing and didn’t rush us or act like we weren’t going to buy something just cause we were younger. I know they go on commission so I wanted to make sure Handa got the commission instead of the man who looked down on us and thought we didn’t have money to spend. Overall the experience was fine except for the judgment placed on us because of our age

Apon entry to the store the sales person Jacary was on the ball. He immediately took us to the mattress section showed us the perfect mattress for my needs . First he asked what was my profession. I guess this was to size up if I stood on my feet all day. He was right. We bought a tempurpedic, with a remote base , mattress covers, n 2 bedroom frame and headboard. I went into this stores location earlier looking for things for my new apartment and immediately upon entering my roommates and I received a look and the lady at the front asked us if we were planning on financing the furniture, I said no and went to look around, she followed us very obviously and asked two more times if we were sure we didn’t need to finance anything. At this point we’re irritated, we are young but that doesn’t warrant the assumption that we can’t afford anything. We were discussing on which table to buy when she again came up to us and asked us about financing to which we just said we’d pay in full and that was when she started treating us decently. It was rather disrespectful and disappointing to say the least.

I just purchased a new couch at this Ashley's location in Tempe. I've been looking for months with no luck. Yesterday, I stopped in and met Nolan (sales guy). Nolan, provided fantastic assistance! Unlike some furniture stores where the sales people follow you and harass you, Nolan was the opposite. He kept an eye on my and my daughter and approached only a couple of times when he could see I possibly had a question! Great prices and Nolan! Ask for him by name!

I found the item online that I wanted. The website said it was available at this store so I saved it in my phone and drove there with the intention of purchasing on the spot. I told the salesperson who met me at the door exactly what I wanted and showed him the online information. He then told me that I could buy it today but I would have to go pick it up at the warehouse on Saturday. This made no sense to me that I can't just take it home right now, but wait for it... After paying and leaving the store, I get a call from the warehouse telling me that unfortunately it will not be ready on Saturday and since the warehouse is closed on Sunday and Monday, I'm pretty much waiting over a week to get an item that was right there in the store where I already paid for it. Now I have to go all the way back to Tempe to get my money back since I paid in cash... which was a whole other hassle. They act like people don't pay with cash anymore!

I brought a sofa for my son that brought under a year. However, I had the warranty and they replaced it but it only covers one replacement. So poor quality it will break again. Good some where else .Amazon quality for quality prices not good.

I'm confused as to how this place stays open. The sales folks are fine. The products are NOT. Ordered patio furniture. Explained we had a big gathering happening and needed it delivered at a specific time. They said sure. Got it here. Boom! Frame on sofa is twisted. Tech tried to fix but he was just a delivery guy not furniture guy. Was told that I would have to come get a new set and build myself. Getting a refund.
