Let’s just say compassion and customer service is low here. I am not sure if this can be said for every Ashley store but, this one doesn’t even deserve a star. Not to mention we were lied to just for a sale. How they dealt with us after the lie is unacceptable. Please look else where.
The employes there are super welcoming and nice. They have good deals and really good furniture. We just got a new couch and Charles was super helpful and nice. Great place overall and I cant wait for my new couch to arrive.

Hi, I am writing to Ashly Tempe Store (Gabriel : Store Manager) since last three week regarding status on my order which I placed in Tempe store. I already paid the money but not getting any reply to my emails even after sending multiple reminder. I was not expecting this kind of response from such a renowned brand. Need explanation why I didn’t get respond from customer care or Gabriel (Store Manager) even after sending multiple emails , phone call no response from this store. worst store experienced for customer service. they even don't care about these ratings. Was pressured into buying things and now I regret it. Been trying to cancel the second half of the order and get no answers. Will never do business with this location or Ashely in general in the future.
Delivered 1 piece.. literally one seat of our sectional. Tried to call and ask what’s going on and no one answers the phone in the store. Tried to use the chat feature and all they could tell me was that they didn’t know what was going on and that I should call the store. Unbelievably bad customer service. Sales people lied about item stock to make a sale.
I'm going to save you the headache... You have a good experience when you walk in the store and have fun picking out furniture. What they didn't tell us this year was everything was delayed by 3 to 5 months. when we waited 7 months for a couch, we decided to cancel it. I had to call the customer service line three times and no one picks up. You're on hold for 20 minutes and forced to leave a voicemail message so they can call you back in 48 hours. I did it twice over two weeks still never received a call back to cancel my order and get a refund. I had to drive to the store after calling three locations phones were down. So I had to leave work drive to the store and Jennifer at customer service didn't apologize and didn't even care. Then because it was on my husband's credit card, she had to get special permission to call him over the phone because I didn't have his card on me. I clearly asked her "will you call him today?" and she said yes. Here we are a week and a half later. So on our day off from work on Veterans Day, I drive back to the store in person on my day off to wait in line for the same girl. i asked "why why didn't you call my husband a week and a half ago to refund is credit card over the phone?" She didn't care, just gave me an excuse that they're hectic. so unless you're madly in love with some of their furniture, I would highly recommend shopping somewhere else. I understand that there was a delay because of covid-19, but for me to have to call five times, leave two messages, and drive up there twice just to cancel one couch is ridiculous. I would also be very careful because of covid-19 delays. the salesperson will not tell you that....we waited 7 months.
Horrible service 😑. Have a purchase two months ago, and still dealing with the warranties issues, due to damage merchandise at time of service. Filing a BBB complaint. I gave a 1 start because won't let me proceed with no starts at all.

The purchase was made on July 3 the last item finally arrived in October. Isn't this ridiculous? That was after several deliveries. The first delivery was already a month after the purchase date and it arrived damaged. Second delivery attempt also failed with damage again. The third and fourth. The customer service could not help with the situation so I reached out to the sales person, Nolan (who promised to follow up with our order until we receive the goods worth over $7000). Left several messages but never responded and even avoided to answer the call. Irresponsible and terrible service!!! Never going back to this place. All in all the final item we had to accept to avoid further inconveniences was pre-owned furniture with no tags, not packaged and signs of use. Probably returned item. It's just terrible!
I had an amazing experience getting the help from Jonathan. He helped us like no other sales person there had done so before and found the best way to meet our needs. He always followed up with us after each step in the process to make sure we were happy with our purchase. I will always shop here going forward with no doubt!
Terrible customer service Made a purchase in August that was immediately damaged upon delivery and I've been chasing Ashley ever since. Second half of my order cancelled out from under me with no communication as to why. Three damage claims submitted for the furniture I did receive and still not resolved, no communication, no updates. Occasional visits to the store to follow up since nobody will return my call and promises made by the employees that never become a reality. Most recently told I need to wait another 2 to 3 months on top of what I was already told to wait to resolve my billing concerns Don't do business with Ashley and take your business to someone more deserving
Bought two Sofas online in early September 2020 to be delivered in mid October. HOWEVER, I received two phone calls for the delivery delay scheduled in late October and in early November. Once I called the Ashley costumer service, I was told you got another month delay on the system scheduled for you in till late December 2020. I assume I was supposed to receive two more calls later to be informed about new delays. Only God knows if Ashley has any intentions to deliver my Sofas. I had very bad experiences with the costumer service as they didn’t appreciate my request. ****NEVER TRUST ASHLEY****
Jacob was the best salesman. He helped me and my girlfriend from the time we walked in until we left. We 10/10 recommend buying furniture here. All the staff was friendly and polite. Definitely coming back here again soon.
If I could I would give zero stars. This whole process has been a nightmare. First delivery I only received a partial order. Second I AGAIN received a partial order and damaged furniture. Third shipment was ALSO incomplete. Fourth and final shipment (supposed final) was missing pieces. I called to see when the missing pieces would arrive and they don’t even give a straight answer. Caller support said they were ordered and don’t know when they will be shipped. It has been MONTHS since I first made the order. I understand there has been shipping delivery delays but don’t promise a costumer a date if you cannot deliver. Worst experience ever. Don’t waste your time or money.
Purchased a lift chair and maintenance package. After 6 months, the controller broke. 5 months later the replacement came in the mail. Awful service.
Real disappointed in their delivery service. The delivery of our couch has been pushed back so many times I doubt we will ever get it. They were FINALLY supposed to deliver today- IT'S SITTING IN THE WAREHOUSE NOW!!! But, when we called, they said no--either Thursday or even Saturday. I told my wife to cancel it and get a refund, but she insists we need a couch. She is getting numbers for corporate, but they don't give a s@&t either likely. I will NEVER use Ashley Furniture again & plan on writing a scathing review article for my 23 blogs I maintain. Buy somewhere else!

We had the worst experience with Ashley Furniture buying a dresser online, and reluctantly went to the store looking for a dining room table. The sales floor manager promised us a better experience, even admitting that buying online was a pain. Long story short, we bought a dining table at this store and they promised us a delivery date, which happened to be the day before our wedding (we bought this table because it would fit our timetable of our parents seeing our new house for the first time). They delivered the table WITHOUT the legs--which we found out happens all the time per their employees--and it completely ruined our pre-wedding experience. This is the worst company to deal with and I HIGHLY advise you to stay away, even if you think you found the piece of furniture you've been looking for.
We finally received our Ashley Furniture patio set today Friday, 10/16, previously promised delivery on Tuesday 10/6- watch for text and call for confirmation, they said. Instead, I was told the delivery would be for Friday 10/9, when I called on Wednesday when I hadn't heard anything from Ashley Homestore. After texting with Laura Sharpe, the salesperson that handled our sale, that Friday would be fine, delivery dept sent text confirmation for Saturday! This day wouldn't work, so I asked for Tuesday 10/13, but Monday came around and the text sent with delivery time allotment for Tuesday wouldn't work due to an appt I had to keep. Today was the next day I could accept delivery... So everything pretty much came in one piece, and the two delivery guys only had to take plastic wraps off and place cushions on the chairs. The glider came in two pieces - the loveseat and the gliding base. As you can see, the assembly didn't go so well. $120 for delivery and professional assembly... The excuse given was that the factory must've sent "two right feet instead of a left and a right." I knew this was BS and just assembly gone wrong and that the guys wanted to move on to the next delivery to avoid delays. We didn't want to accept delivery, but was told by customer service the only way to set up a repair appt was to accept delivery, since waiting for a new piece might take weeks, as some pieces were on backorder. Repairman is to arrive on Wednesday 10/21. If he cannot fix the glider and the few braids that tore apart, we will return the pieces for our complete money back! I wanted to cancel delivery when promised Tuesday 10/6 didn't happen... Only tolerated delivery snafus because mom really liked the glider set. P. S. I'd asked about Ashley's return policy of three days and Laura said that I would have to decide on delivery day to accept or return. After seeing the bungled assembly and the damaged areas, my mom and I wanted to return the damaged item and wait for a new replacement. The lead delivery said he wouldn't be able to place the item back into the truck - I looked and saw that there were other boxed items inside the truck awaiting delivery. 10/17 Texted to Laura that Mom decided she didn't want the set anymore and that we would like to return it, but Laura said we'd have to come in and talk to the manager. Since we both work till 8:45 pm and most likely would arrive past 9 pm closing tonight, I called the store directly and was placed on hold. After the 13:30 minute holding time, an automated voice said that I would have to leave a message after the 15 - minute mark or I will be disconnected, so I left a message. I was assured that I would get a reply within 24 to 48 hours, which would conveniently time me out of the 3-day return policy. 10/19 No return call from Ashley... I asked a friend if she could translate a video taken from my patio camera, which shows the guys being rough with the set & conversing. My friend said at least 2 comments were derogatory... 10/21 No confirmation text/call for Wednesday repair...
i bought a mattress instore was told 2 days for delivery, i confirmed all the information and time of delivery ,no sooner did i leave the store when i start getting calls saying i have to confirm my delivery ,i try the number and just get hung up on then finally by the next day! i get thru to a rather rude lady who takes all my information and says ok we will schedual you in for a dropoff by the end off the day 2 and i was lucky cause they had to reroute the truck since i was so late in confirming, this made no dam sense! i hope i get this mattress at all ,makes me worried! instore was great and sales lady was helpful but afterwords wow!
