My daughter and I visited the Ashley store on Sunday April 13. We were greeted by Paul Wilson. Paul was super helpful in helping us choose furniture for our family room. He was very accommodating in assisting us with all our selections. Paul is a wonderful sales associate!!

If I could give them ZERO STARTS I would. I’m not someone who takes to reviews lightly, but my experience with Ashley Furniture has been so profoundly disappointing that I feel obligated to share. I purchased a bunk bed frame on March 24, 2025, and waited over two weeks for delivery—only for it to arrive and be damaged during assembly. The support beam was cracked, wood was splintered and scratched, and a key screw hole was stripped. I paid over $600 for a product I don't feel safe having my children sleep in—one of whom is immunocompromised. The delivery team who came to assemble the bed took over two hours—clearly struggling with the instructions—and one of the workers was coughing and sniffling the entire time. When I finally asked if he was sick or allergic to cats, he admitted he was “a bit sick.” This was only after spending time in my children’s room, exposing them without warning or consent. When I voiced concern, I received no apology or accountability. To make matters worse, this same worker made an inappropriate comment about my neurodivergent daughter, calling her rude because she made a remark he didn’t like. I explained she has disabilities, and he replied with a dismissive “Oh, sorry.” I called customer service within minutes of their departure and was told I’d receive a follow-up in 24 hours. Nearly 18 hours later, I had to escalate things myself just to be heard. When a second team arrived to remove the damaged bed, I hoped for better. Instead, one of the workers ignored basic cleanliness requests. I asked if they’d remove shoes or wear booties—they said they had booties. But then one walked outside in them and tried to re-enter my home, contaminating the space—again, extremely distressing when your child is medically vulnerable. When I calmly asked him to change them, he became visibly annoyed and defensive, telling me to "give them space" because my home was "their construction zone." They barely disassembled the bed, carried it out in large pieces, and left without saying a single word to me. At this point, I was left with no bed, no resolution, and no basic courtesy. Ashley Furniture failed on every level: product quality, timeliness, professionalism, safety, and customer service. I’ve demanded a full refund and am still waiting on confirmation. I’ve never had such an exhausting, upsetting experience with a major furniture company. If you’re a parent, especially of medically complex or disabled children, I urge you to consider how little regard this company has shown for basic human decency, let alone professional service. Do better, Ashley Furniture!!!

Stopped by on Friday in need of a couch. Associate Paul Wilson guided me on a few selections. I ended up finding a couch that was exactly what I wanted, as well as a rug to match. I will definitely be going here in the future when I need more furniture.
