Judy Picou was my Product Specialist. Understood exactly what I wanted and showed it to me. She knew her merchandise and easily answered any questions I had. She has a friendly, delightful manner that makes one comfortable. While I missed their names, the two ladies at checkout computers were also friendly, nice ladies and quite efficent.

First I need to say thank you to Ms Judy. She was awesome. I knew when I approached Ashley store that I was going to buy furniture. But I did not want a pushy salesperson. Then Ms Judy was there introducing herself. She was a joy. She gave us a run down on where to find what we were looking for. We looked around and while she didn’t annoy us whenever we sat for a long period of time, she was there to ask and answer our questions. I loved that about her. She shows the right amount of interest in what we say to make it appear she is slo interested. Good job. Great experience. I will definitely go back to purchase other furniture. I know Ms Judy gave the exact rug we will need to get that will go perfectly with our living room furniture.

Horrible experience!! We purchased 2 bedroom sets and the protection plan a year ago. Upon delivery one of the pieces was damaged. Ashley's resolution was to repair instead of replacing it. Finally after several calls expressing that we didn't want repairs on furniture that was delivered damaged the manager replaced it. The drawer on the dresser mirror fell apart after a year. I called in to file a protection plan claim. After 2 weeks and several call the representative said the protection plan claim was denied. I asked why was it denied she said I don't know it was just denied. We contacted the local Ashley store it was explained to us that the salesperson ONLY included the bedrails on the protection plan even though she explained to us that all pieces were covered. The furniture is of poor quality for the amount we paid for it. WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY AGAIN. The customer service and product quality are poor. ZERO STARS!!!!

My delivery experience was terrible ! I had to assist bringing in my own furniture, while one of the delivery drivers sat in the truck. The other gentlemen made a personal FaceTime call while they were putting my furniture together, not to mention they left a piece of my furniture at the warehouse! My delivery was scheduled for 11am - 2pm, they didn’t come back with my furniture until almost 5! I am highly disappointed and I didn’t pay for delivery just to assist with putting my own furniture in my home. This is unacceptable!

Anyone that know me knows that this is 1 of the places I spend my weekends and sadly to say this but every time I visit here it’s seems as if I see the same ole thing other then the great customer service the furniture is also good and pretty but I’m just tired of seeing the same ole pieces no pictures because it’s like a rerun

Avoid. They will keep pushing the warehouse delivery date and when you ask for a refund they will try to charge you 30% restocking fee. Very disappointing that will charge a re stocking fee for a product that isn’t even in stock yet. Buy it from Costco they will do better business

At first I was about to walk out the store because an employee walked right past me and asked another guest if they needed help and never asked me. He was on a leg scooter. I walked around the store for about 20 minutes seen the guy with the leg scooter sitting down and still not assisting anyone and Mr. Bobb was done assisting his customer and came to me and asked if I was being helped. I told him no, no one ever came to me to help and he began assisting me. Him along with the ladies at the payment desk gave me excellent exceptional service. Whomever the guy is that is on the leg scooter definitely need customer service skills because I witnessed other customers he did not greet nor help meanwhile sitting down doing nothing. Mr. Wayne and the ladies at the payment desk I give 5 stars and they definitely saved Ashley from losing a customer.

I purchased a sofa and loveseat on sale from Ashley's furniture outlet store in Alexandria. This particular sofa was on sale. I had seen it post on line for the Labor Day sale on Ashley's website. I went to Ashley's main store first. She told me to go to the outlet store for that particular sofa. I then went to the outlet store. The young lady there was very nice and had the sofa set for the price I had seen. She said that she could not sell it to me because Ivan Smith had it for the same price. I then went to Ivan Smith. The salesman had the sofa but had to order the loveseat and it was not the sale price at all. He went on to say that he didn't go into Ashley's store and didn't know what the lady was talking about. The other salesman did not want to assist me at all. I went back to the outlet store and told her what he had said.I purchased the sofa set that I wanted for the price I had seen. She was very nice, willing to go out of her way to help me and very understanding. I will go back to her for any future furniture purchases. A big thank you to Crystal Hawkins - Gable

Pushy, has to wait 2 hours to be told they will only price match they're own website... and I was told I only got a 5 percent discount but online I got 10%. Traveled an hour and a half to just order the same ashley couch on a different website 1/3rd of the price.

My mother went to Ashley store every day last week to do my leg work and chrysal worked with her to help me out. I 100% recommended Chrystal Got my furniture delivered .. Well,, it was pouring down raining and the delivery men took all of my furniture out of the boxes on the truck and brought all of my furniture through the rain into the house.. Mirror is cracked .. The bed I was told I didn't need a box spring but it did so I had to take the box spring off of my guest bed ans now it's so high I can't get into my new bed without help .. I have contacted Ashley furniture and they will NOT work with me They got the money but they will not take care of what needs to be fixed and broken mirror. It's been a three week chore!! NEVER EVER will I buy furniture from Ashley again . I was talked into it by my mother .. I should have just stayed with Browns furniture and just be done . It's been a complete nightmare . Never Again . After they get your money they don't care about you anymore at Ashley Furniture..

We went into the store looking for a big boy bed for our toddler. We found exactly what we were looking for and got it for a great deal. The lady (Lisa E) who handled us was amazing and we were lucky enough to get it delivered within a two week span time! So I’m excited to get his new bed this coming Sat April 9th! We will define going back there to get a new bedroom furniture for ourselves along with a love seat and dining room set! Can’t wait to go back! The showroom floor was beautiful. I was able to find just what I needed with the help of my salesperson Mitch. The product was well priced. The only complaint that I have was that the store was very warm instead of being cool. I spoke to an employee and they said that the manager never keeps it cool. I’m not sure if I will return to that store again.

We went in looking for a recliner love seat. We weren't greeted at the door. When I asked where the rocker reclining love seats were they pointed to the middle of the store and said just look around. The salesman that got us was a man that had a walking boot on so I thought since he was hurt was why he wasnt helping us look. BUT he did have a knee roller so he could put his knee on the seat and roll around. But after 30 minutes of looking around and not the first salesperson (and we saw 3 others) inquiring if we needed anything we decided to leave.. as we started to walk out we found the first salesman still sitting on the couch.... I totally understand if he didnt get up. But I would expect someone to at least ask if we had found what we were looking for.. if I had been treated like a potential customer I probably would of purchased from Ashley furniture that day..

Nearly 6 months later & still waiting on our bedroom set.. would give 0 stars if I could! Update 08/05/22: 8 months later & we finally received our bed, 2 nightstands (one damaged) & dresser. Now to wait on our damaged nightstand to be replaced... 03/21/23: still have a damaged nightstand.

Ashley actually called me to inform that I had a $149.99 in store credit and that it had to be used by December 31. Well sure enough, with no pressure to buy anything else the employee let me select several bed pillows and I could not be more pleased. Ashley didn’t have to call—-but they did. How awesome is that??!!!!

I ordered a beautiful bedroom suite in July. The bedside tables arrived in about two weeks. Today is 12/10/21 and my bed and chest of drawers were delivered yesterday. I've waited five months. I paid extra to have the pieces assembled. After setting up the headboard, side rails, and footboard, it was discovered the side rails were for a full bed, not a queen, as I ordered. An hour later someone arrived from the store with the "right" size side rails, completed the bed and left. My husband and I tried to put our mattress set on the bed, but the new side rails were for a full size bed AGAIN. My husband went to the store to be given queen side rails, as I ordered, and is on his way home to unassemble then reassemble the bed BY HIMSELF even though I paid extra for complete assembly. It's been a nightmare. Terrible organization and planning on the part of this Ashley store. Poorly done.

Well! I surely don’t recommend Ashley Furniture Store, in Opelousas, LA., May 2020, I order furniture from that particular store. In July 21st, I received a call stating that the warehouse in Lafayette, La., was closing that I had to drive to Houston for my furniture or they could deliver my furniture for free. I originally was picking up. In August the 28th. I called to see if my furniture was there, and they stated my order was cancel in July. They couldn’t give me an legit answer on who cancel my order. Not only was it cancel by someone I never received a call. Me. Christian at the Opelousas Store told me we can reorder, and she would give me a discount. I drove all the way there from Glenmora, which is a little over an hour drive, and signed papers once again. I didn’t receive a discount for the trouble, and was trying to charge me $99.99 for shipping. When it was being shipped to me for free. I whined up cancelling that order, because I was be screwed by that particular store all together. On September 3rd., I went to Ashley furniture Store in Alexandria, LA., and the store was very helpful and honest. And the same furniture was almost $200 cheaper than the first two orders and am get to pick up my furniture at the store and not be charged the $100. Further more Alexandria Store is best place to go. And the Opelousas Store needs to be investigated because I feel they are screwing customers over.

This will make my 3rd piece of furniture from Ashley HomeStore and I absolutely love everything I received from them

This has been the worst service I have experienced with furniture shopping. We bought a dinning table, chairs, and bench January 16th. We were told the table and chairs would be in the beginning of February and the bench would be a few weeks later. We were ok with that. Now here it is the mid of March and we still do not have one product that we purchased. After numerous calls to the store they are still until able to tell us when it will arrive. Each time we call we are told "we hope it's on the next truck in 2 days" or "it should be on the next truck." Saying I'm sorry does not fix the situation of waiting on on furniture for months when it should have been several weeks!

Ordered a bed over the phone and it was very easy and the lady that took my order was very nice and helpful!

Me and my wife bought nine new bar stools which was not cheap at all bar stools was not good quality after about eight months and bar stools were very poorly built talk to Ashley furniture and they agreed to take back all eight chairs and give us all brand new chairs that we wanted free of charge delivered and picked up the old ones for us couldn't ask for better service we will be showing there again!!

I was very excited when I bought a couch and 2 recliners. I picked up my recliners Friday we got them unboxed and set up after relaxing in them for a few minutes we noticed the color brown came off the chairs staining our clothes. We called twice Saturday and was told someone would call us back. No one did. Monday I called and finally got to speak to someone. He apologized and said he was gonna reorder the chairs and see if it’s any better. I called the next week and was told now I might receive some of my furniture in December and maybe some of it in March. The only reason I purchased this set is because I was told they where available and I would receive them the next week. When I questioned that the lady said I’ll have to get your seller to call you back which he never did. My husband went to the store and talked to someone and still I sit here with just 2 recliners that I have to put my sheets on so they don’t stain our clothes and nothing else to sit on during the holidays.

Krystal was my sales associate. She was open funny and traipsed all over the store to help me find what I needed because I was buying it as a birthday present for my daughter in law and needed something in stock. She was wonderful and I would shop anywhere she was so you need to keep her. My biggest surprise about the store however was although I know grey is the trending color you really had little for those who know how to decorate out of the box and your room arrangements and accessories were too predictable. I am an artist and photographer and many sets did not photograph that well. Dont know where you are doing your buying but if all you are going to offer in furniture is grey, ivory, a little brow and a little black then your accessories and side chairs should really pop with some unexpected color.

Walked in just to see what they would maybe have. We had something we were looking for on our minds so it wasn’t that hard. We made a choice and came back the next day after making sure our young daughter wanted it. It’s a Christmas gift but wanted to make sure she’d like it. We came back the next day to purchase it and even having a sale going on made it even better! Very nice staff and it made the purchase even better!

I went to Ashley furniture Company on Tuesday, September 22 for the first time in three years. My husband and I Used to go to Ashley furniture every weekend because it was so awesome and we love the furniture displays and the accessories. He passed away three years ago and I have not been in Ashley furniture sense because it remind me so much of us. I would go to the parking lot and look at Ashley furniture but never had the courage to get out of my car to go into the store. I finally got the courage to go in on Tuesday and soon as I walk in I see this angel sitting on one of the sofas greeting me as I entered the store. She literally took me under her wing ask me a few questions on what my needs were and there we begin to communicate like we were old friends. She listen to my needs and she also listen as I vented to her about the loss of my awesome wonderful husband. And before I knew it I had what I went in the store for, no pressure and I felt as calm as when I was with my husband three years prior. That most awesome sales representative name is Judy PICOU... Very disappointed with Ashley Furniture after this last purchase. When purchasing a power recliner, I specifically told the salesperson I did NOT want the floor model. With Covid-19 concerns, and knowing probably hundreds of people had sat in the chair to test it out, I requested a new one. This is probably not the best time to be buying furniture, however I felt that it could be done safely, and also help a business. The chair they delivered to me did not work - meaning the heating & massage controls didn't work once it was plugged in. When I went back to the store to return the chair, I went straight to the recliner section and saw a big, gaping hole where the floor model had been. The lady at Customer Service confirmed they had sold me the "DEMO" chair. After I had been very clear I did not want a floor model!! Almost every piece of furniture in my home came from Ashley Furniture.Just spent thousands of $$$ with them this past year on bedroom furniture. But I'm officially done with them now.

Mitch Ingalls is diffantly an asset to the Ashley Furniture Company. He was very attentive and helpful in helping me find just the right thing I wanted. His customer service was a 100 times better than any product specialist at the Alexandria, Louisiana store. The other people working the floor didn't even ask if they could help. Mr Brian was great and helpful! I wish we weren’t going through this pandemic and I was able to get what I wanted but I’m sure I’ll be dropping in again. I wish there were more of the one item I needed (pandemic...). They have nice furniture compared to some others in my humbly opinion.

Crystal also assisted me last fall when I purchased my living room furniture. She is attentive and friendly without being pushy. Ashley has good stuff, without the big price tag.

Horrible experience with Ashley’s furniture order my items April 17th or 18th Still haven’t received my items. I had to call the other day to see have it made it in just for them to say yes it have no one called to notify me that it was in very poor customer service took them almost two months to refund me the amount they over charged me for ridiculous!! Only reason I’m giving three stars is because my salesperson was awesome helping me pick out the items I did ordered.
