I went to Ashley Furniture in Baton Rouge to get a small sofa. The experience was great. Clark was extremely helpful and friendly. He showed me all the different options and I found the one I liked right away. The price was great too. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this store.
Great experience. I was greeted promptly and as I shared what I was looking for associate showed me to the perfect piece of furniture for my home. Management was amazing and their patience with me and my boys was far beyond expectations. Great product at a great price. I highly recommend.
I bought a power recliner in February and they delivered it March 1st. The wooden frame was cracked causing the foot rest not to work properly. It was reported damaged the same day, 4 weeks later still no cooperation from Ashley.

I had a very disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture Store in Baton Rouge, LA. The staff we interacted with failed to provide accurate or upfront information. They neglected to clearly explain key details, such as their return policy, which led to significant issues later. We encountered delivery problems, and when I decided to return the furniture, I was informed that their policy prohibited returns—something that was not disclosed at the outset. This lack of transparency and poor communication resulted in a negative overall experience. I would strongly reconsider before making a purchase from this store in the future, as neither the service nor the staff met my expectations.

Showroom, sales,etc was great. Communication was great. However we were told delivery would be between 2-5, drivers came after 8:30 pm. We kept getting later and later updates. It seems the drivers have too many deliveries loaded for one day to deliver at the specified times. The drivers were very cordial and great with setup, but we could tell they were tired. That was very late to be receiving a furniture delivery!
I will never ever get furniture from Ashley's furniture again they are messing me over on my payments they're saying that I'm not making a payment when I am making a payment cannot wait to get these people pay off and I have a no return of policy

This place is HUGE. We've been lightly furniture shopping for months, and have been to a lot of places. Even so, I was shocked at how large the showroom (and clearance warehouse space) was. Ursula was a wonderful guide and immediately honed in on what we wanted. Very pleasant experience and highly recommended.

We were just put through quite an ordeal to purchase a bed and nightstand from the clearance section at this store. Once we decided we wanted the furniture, it took another hour for the transaction to be finalized. Were we waiting in line? No. Were we financing? No. We still aren't sure what the holdup was, but the sales guy kept entering information into his laptop and then leaving, then coming back, then leaving again with no explanation. We came very close to just walking out, and by the time we were done, we sort of wished we had. We decided to take the nightstand with us and schedule a date 4 days out to pick up the bed, weather permitting (which our sales guy said was just fine). As my husband was walking out with the nightstand, the general manager caught him and gave him an earful about how we needed to pick up the bed within 3 days, not 4, and that we would not be allowed to reschedule the pickup date regardless of the weather. After arguing a bit with my husband, he "graciously" made an exception for us. Um, thanks? He went on to complain about his sales guys being pulled away from the showroom to help customers in the clearance section, and that he didn't even want a clearance section in his store. Wow. By the time we left we were very aggravated and slightly insulted, despite being relatively happy with the bed we found and the price we paid. We certainly won't waste any more time or money at this store. Worst customer service ever!

If you ever visit Ashely’s on Airline, ask for Alexis! Update: I can’t take away the experience Alexis provided for me in store. However, that has been overshadowed by the awful customer service I’ve experienced during this ongoing delivery process. My order was supposed to be delivered on yesterday (2/14/25)between 1230 and 330. Never arrived. I contacted customer service to get details on the delivery as the online tracking system continued to give me a later and later ETA. Customer service transferred me to road support who could not reach the driver and after some time the associate hung up in my face. Unacceptable. I called customer service again and was informed my product was too big to fit in the delivery truck and was never out for delivery. I only received the false updates because my order was in the manifest to be delivered. I asked to speak with a manager and was put in contact with Jade Gould. She stated she would find out what was happening and give me a call back in 5-10 minutes. Never called back. I reached out to customer service again and Max stated my ordered had been picked up and out for delivery with an ETA of 606pm. Today is Saturday, 2/15/25 and I still don’t have my product. I reached out to customer service again this morning and asked to speak with a supervisor, Truong stated a supervisor would get back to me within 3 hours. Those 3 hours have come and gone! Ashely’s claim to be Americas #1 furniture company is laughable! I’ve been treated better by worst establishments. I am so fed up with Ashley’s and the amount of misinformation I have been fed. The lack of communication is outrageous! I would never refer anyone here because the delivery process and customer service is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced! I still have zero answers! It’s like they train their associates to string the customer along until they can figure it out. Seems like a huge game! And frankly, you can’t play with a customer’s time or money! I am outdone. Rather spend my money elsewhere!
My salesman was on lunch break when I returned to purchase my furniture! Someone else helped me and I appreciated it. He left and someone finished the sale up! Therefore,I appreciated the help,but the original salesman could have returned!!!

Purchased furniture 5 years ago with a warranty. At the time of purchase I was told by the sales person that if the warranty was not used in the 5 years the warranty amount will be refunded. However, 5 years later when I called to get the refund. I was told you will have to use the warranty amount to purchase something in the store or I will lose the money. I was lied to. Not good business.
They advertise one price online and almost 1k more in store and will not price match their own website and blame it on the financing Lender that they can’t match there online price. How I pay for it has 0 to do with the price. I took my business to rooms to go where their online price and store price are the same and will match if different and they use the same bank🤔 do your self a favor and bring your business elsewhere. The manger told me if he did that then the sales person would not make any money. Not trying to take out of anyone’s mouth by any means but don’t advertise one price and it be something different. To me that is a bait and switch!!

I went with my husband and kids and everything was fine, they attended nicely and helped us with everything. We picked out our living room and everything was good until we went to the front to make our payment. On a different computer that was left open on the front desk, “ the name of the person that was helping us out- parents and two bad kids” . I got upset, embarrassed, mad. I understand my kids are really active but labeling them as bad kids really let me down. I try my best to have them under control but at the end of the day they are kids. I honestly shouldn’t even followed through with the purchase

We purchased a sofa at Ashley. The customer service lady, Alexis was truly amazing! She was helpful and also very knowledgeable! We are very pleased with everything so far. Although I would say one downside to our experience is the delivery time period. We paid outright for the sofa on January 1st but it won’t be delivered until the 22nd which I feel is quite a long wait! So that is my only complaint with this purchase. Hopefully when it’s delivered it will be worth the wait!
I go to the store and speak to a salesperson about Ashley products being sold at a different furniture store and they assured that if it by ASHLEY they can get it !! After finally giving salesperson all the information about the Ashley products they still can't find them !!!! So they make a deal with me about a different Ashley products I couldn't find it anywhere on their website and it's on their showroom floor for sale and it's no wwhere on their website !! So after finally getting a call back hoping to go ahead and purchase $2k worth of furniture they proceed to tell me that because I didn't purchase a day before that they couldn't give me the 20% discount they assured me I would get . They also let 2 business days expire before getting back with me. So I truly thank them for their effort but I wasn't going to allow them to treat me that way !! Be careful when using the Baton Rouge store because shady practices (no website info on floor displays) and their word (honor) can't be trusted !!!!!

Posting on behalf of personal friend’s experience M. O.: as of 12.26.2024 “…Ashley furniture is a bunch of horse poo! I will never buy from there again! Their customer service is wack! We bought a table 2 days before thanksgiving and I went to the distribution center to pick it up we got it home and it was Damaged, next morning I go back to pick up the SECOND table just to get it home and it was DAMAGED. I was like ok they can come and change it out, so a week later they scheduled to deliver it to us at 9 am the truck did not arrive till 4 pm and what would you know the guys arrived all mad and they DAMAGED MY TABLE! that was the third one. Here we are now at the end of December and they were suppose to be at my house today at 10 am with my FOURTH TABLE! At 10 am and now it’s 5:30 and still not here!!! We have called customer service and they were no help at all! Yall im sorry but I would not recommend Ashley furniture again ever!”

I waited 3 months for delivery of my furniture. They kept canceling on their own or refusing to deliver. I let them know the furniture was going to need to be carried up a few flights of stairs and salesman said The whitenglove delivery will take care of that. After a run around for months they finally delivered. But the people at Ashley kept asking for another chance after failed deliveries. I asked for a refund. They wanted another chance. Didnt deliver. I asked for a refund. They asked for another chance. Didnt deliver. The 5th time i asked for something. A free piece of furniture. They said ok if its worth 100 or less. They delivered the furniture. They didnt keep their word on the free piece of furniture for my immense troubles. Ashley dont gaslight people.
Me and my wife went and bought over $6,000 dollars of furniture on 11/30/2024. We made it a specific point to schedule it on 12/19/2024. On 12/17/2024, they message confirming we'll be home she did. Then, on 12/18/2024, they message her again, confirming they'll be here for 10 she said no, that time works, she gets a message saying someone will contact you shortly. No one ever does. I then called them and asked, and they informed me it was canceled without telling us. I go round and round with them on the phone for hours. No one ever truly helps me. My new delivery date is 1/02/2025. Wait the best part is my wife is 7 months pregnant and now we don't have our new bed in time to move in our new house we're sleeping on a mattress on the floor even after explaining all that they only offered a 5% rebate. Long story short, they are like every other salesperson, so nice, friendly, and help when they are trying to get you to buy but don't care or even pretend to care once you're out the door. Don't buy from these people
My sales lady was very professional, listened to what I was looking for, she was getting the lowest price available for me, she was very knowledgeable about the furniture I purchased and gave me great ideas for what would work in my small apartment. When I left it felt like I had known her forever. I am very pleased with my purchase and how she helped me. Thank you Kaylah for making sure I was taken care of. 😊
New Update as of 12/24/24: They were supposed to bring the new table today! They say out for delivery. Then an hour late I get another text saying arrived at our house but no one was outside because we were watching. Then we get a text saying they could not deliever even though yall claimed yall were outside. So we proceed to call and they say the table was never even on the truck because it was damaged on the dock. Then didn't give an update on how they were going to fix it. YALL ARE LIKE SLIM LANDLORDS. YALL ARE SO WRONG. UPDATE: We called the number you guys put on here in y'all's response and it's just an automated system that doesn't let you talk to anyone. So we called the store again after nobody answering us multiple days. We clicked to make a new order and someone finally picked up. We explained the situation and how it affected us and that we understand yall say all sales are final but we Just WANT EXACTLY WHAT WE PAID FOR! & That yall keep pushing our new delivery date back and are trying to deliver during the middle of us having family over for Christmas after already ruining our Thanksgiving. We just want yall to rectify yalls bad business but the person on the phone said there was nothing he could do about it. This is absolutely unacceptable. We now will have to go shop elsewhere to finish furnishing our home because we can never shop with yall again and will not recommend yall to our friends or family. Yall say sorry for the inconvenience but that don't make things right because you can't get these memories back. We will be going to someone else to fix yall mistakes so we can still have a good holiday. I don't normally leave reviews BUT I have to make an exception this time because what this company has put me and my family through is absolutely ridiculous. They are only getting a 1 star because it's required to leave a review cause they don't even deserve that. But anyways me and my family just bought our brand new home and came in to shop for furniture. So , we go in and have a salesperson which I'm guessing was just a cover up for the horrible Company they are. So boom we stay in the store for a long time looking around trying to find furniture. We finally find a living room set and dining room set that we want. They set a delivery date. They bring our living room set and our dining room set. They arrive only to find out the leaves on the table don't fit so we can't extend the table . They are like we will leave the table and order another and bring it in a week or so. Then to add more insult to injury they bring us 5 chairs instead of the 6 we ordered. We were absolutely upset about the table and missing chairs because we were having family over for our first Thanksgiving in our new house. When Thanksgiving came we just had to make due with what we had. So boom fast forward we finally get our 6th chair ..but still hadn't received our new table. They said the table would be here before Christmas. Now we are days away from our new delivery date and they call and say they still don't have the table and won't be able to bring It until December 24th which is Christmas Eve. We celebrate with our family on December 24th so we wanted the table to host Christmas since yall Ruined our Thanksgiving. But now yall telling us yall are going to deliver on Christmas Eve when we have family coming over. Yall Ruined our Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve because of yalls lack of true customer service. And yall won't take it back so we can go with another company and have our stuff for the holidays. We thought everything was going to come right and we were gonna return for the rest of our furniture. But when I say WE WILL NEVER EVER SHOP WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE EVER AGAIN because yall don't care about yall customers and yall doing shady business. But yall got that! We know better now. This is truly despicable and heartbreaking. Before we even posted this review we spoke to a lady on the 1-800 number and she was absolutely rude and was of no help and basically told us all sales are final and that's our problem.

The sales person (Amber) was courteous and professional. She worked with us to find a suitable lift recliner. However, the delivery driver was rude. The chair was not completely assembled and was not placed in correct room as instructed. I had to pay another moving service to move chair into correct room and complete assembly.

I’m new to the Baton Rouge area. I had to purchase new furniture for my home I decided on Baton Rouge Ashley homestore. My experience was great Excellent salespeople Brian and Courtney with wonder customer service and communication skills. The third party delivery was my only issues but the problem was resolved.

Terrible Experience – Avoid Ashley in Baton Rouge! Do NOT shop at this location—or any Ashley store, for that matter. Let me share my nightmare of an experience: I went to the Baton Rouge store to purchase two nightstands to complete my bedroom set. The salesperson informed me the set had been discontinued but managed to locate three nightstands in Memphis, TN. They assured me the process for shipping would be smooth after payment. Trusting their word, I paid for the nightstands while in-store. I also purchased a dining room set during the same visit. I was given one delivery date at checkout, only for it to be changed days later. On the day of delivery, I received multiple conflicting updates about the arrival time. Then, to my shock, I got a text message from Ashley saying my order was canceled. Despite the chaos, a driver showed up at my home after 8 PM with only part of the order. As for the nightstands, Ashley rescheduled delivery multiple times—only to cancel it FIVE times, often on the same day or within the delivery window. When I finally received a nightstand, only ONE was delivered. Not to mention, my first order was missing pieces, and the dining chairs were completely unlevel. Ashley assured me this issue would be resolved, yet here I am—still waiting. Ashley promised me a credit for the inconvenience, which I still haven’t received. Nor have I been refunded for the nightstand I paid for but never got. I’ve contacted the store manager, the sales rep, and corporate, yet no one has resolved the issue. I’m left with one nightstand, missing pieces, uneven chairs, several hundred dollars unreturned, and nothing but frustration from this entire ordeal. Ashley’s lack of communication and poor customer service has been beyond traumatic. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.

Edit: To the owners response, I have already spoke with apparently as high up in your organization as I can go. I am waiting for a call back on any information as everyone stated this was out of there hands and they did not know what to do. Please DO NOT allow this company to run an application with your credit info. MY INFORMATION WAS SOLD AND OR STOLEN and I have been told by as high up as I can go with Ashley Furniture that I must file a police report for my identity being stolen. I have not applied or inputted my information anywhere else but here. This is the only place I have given my new employment phone number. And my job is being called back to back with calls regarding “applications I have submitted” but I didn’t. My employees are answering calls about my personal business. I truly hope the escalation team gets back with me with more information on what has gone wrong or how we can fix this. This one simple application is now preventing me from applying for my new apartment, getting furniture for my new apartment, getting approved on the credit screening portion to have my lights turned on. My life has come to a dead stop. And I am just in disbelief. Just bawling like a baby typing this out right now. But I truly hope this prevents anyone from ending up where I am right now.
Amber greeted me upon entering the store. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to communicate with. She listened ask me questions while interjecting her recommendations responding quickly - she made my selection and purchase extremely. She communicated with me on her days off. She was not going to be in the store on the next day neither; however, she connected me to Ursula as my contact person. Ursula fell right in with no glitches - smooth purchases. Leaving the store assured that all was in order. Now days this is rare!!!!!!!! TO WORK WITH A PERSON IN THE STORE, CONTINUING WORKING WITH YOU ON HER DAYS OFF, CO-WORKER PICKS PURCHASE UP AND COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION! I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH AMBER AND URSULA. They may one to want to may purchases!!!!!
Editing to add response to "owner" comment: I texted with a live agent through that number and they had no explanation for the discrepancy in a 3rd delivery date, nor was there a satisfactory solution. Additionally, at this time, my husband is still waiting for a call from a store manager. So the suggestion to call or text with that number isn't working, either. I hate to leave negative reviews, but I have to for this experience. I give 5 stars for my salesperson, as he was super professional and kind, but the rest of the experience has been horrible. I went in store to look at the the Jorlaina Dining Set. I was made to understand that ordering from the store is better than ordering online as you get to support a local business ordering in store. Cool. So did that. Super excited that the delivery was schedule for two days later! The table top itself arrived scratched. So sent that back. The replacement came 4 business days after that. The delivery people tried to extend the table top to put the leaves in, and they couldn't get it to work. They took it back as defective. I received a call from a Jennifer I believe from the distribution center who said they could have a replacement table top to me that afternoon or the next day. I ask if I can just cancel the order and return everything at this point. She says I can't since I have received items into the home. In the meantime, I contact my original salesperson asking if I could cancel the entire order and get a refund. He said he passed along my messages to his manager and would follow up with me. My husband called the store today and sat on hold OVER 1.5 hours trying to wait to talk with a manager about refunding the entire thing. He was never able to get on the phone with a manager and was told he will get a call back. I got an automatic delivery message that gave me the option to get the third table top delivered later this week. I reached out to an agent via the text option to be told the distribution center isn't able to send out new tabletops until that time. So I don't understand why Jennifer told me there were 4 in stock and I could get another one later that day or the next. I'll come back and edit my comment if anything warrants it. But at this point, this is where we are at with this. Table base and chairs just taking up space for the last week and having to rearrange a schedule for 3 days now and possibly a 4th. Hopeful that considering the circumstances and nothing has been able to be used, that a refund for everything is possible. However, lesson to others: if anything as part of an order comes damaged, refuse everything that goes with that order.

My experience with Ashley was horrible!!! I purchased a rug in April.. The rug was delivered to the wrong house.. I filed a claim with fed ex I was told the claim was paid. I haven’t receive a dime yet to this day.. and Ashley on the other hand keep giving me the run around…
Just bought a new living room set. Walked in late and thought I would have trouble picking something because I needed comfort with a high back due to recent back surgery and durable for my german shepherd.. I was definitely a picky buyer, however my salesman "Clark Wright" was on point with not only suggestions but had patience of steal while staying pleasant. I was so impressed with his knowledge in inventory. He knew what to show me feeding off what I was telling him I needed and wanted.. I didn't find out until the very end after making a deal that he was fairly new and still training wow.. Great job. Thanks to everyone who helped in closing out everything because it was late, hour past closing.. can't wait for my new set to be delivered. I got it in the cream color called coconut.

Called in to question a charge on my bill and had to contact customer service to request a call back from Baton Rouge store. To my surprise, my sales person (A. Brooks) called me back. When questioned, she responded with a condescending remark along with an unwarranted attitude. I WILL NOT be shopping there again NOR will I refer anyone over there. I DID NOT appreciate her tone!!
Ashley furniture does not carr about their customers the way they use to years ago, or maybe its just their BLACK CUSTOMERS. ALL they are about now is making a sell. We've been waiting for our bed for two weeks now, because their sales person checked off the wrong size bed, we wanted a queen she checked a king and now we're being inconvenienced for HER MISTAKE!!! WE'RE ALWAYS THE LAST ON THE LIST FOR DELIVERY, THEY WE'RE SUPPOSED TO DELIVER THIS PAST SATURDAY AND DIDN'T, AND NOW THEIR NEXT AVAILABILITY IS NOT UNTIL THURSDAY, JUNE 27TH, AIN'T THAT A $$$$$!!!!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING ELSE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!
We had a wonderful experience at Ashley. Shantel was so pleasant and friendly the minute we entered. We felt no pressure, which made the whole experience so great! We did buy a sofa and two recliners, which we love! The whole experience was so great that my mom and I went back the following week. Shantel again gave us excellent service! I can say for sure that the right salesperson can make all the difference in the world!!!

I came in just browsing around but I was very impressed by the assistant manager and sales consultant Caleb they helped me through a very easy financing process and helped me find furniture that I didn’t think I needed the staff is very friendly and welcoming to the store and I was pleased with my purchase at the end without feeling forced or talked into a deal that wasn’t to benefit me.
Laurie is a great well the best sales person she gots great furniture taste and makes me crack up she’s hilarious. She sold me a queen mattress and adjustable and couple accent chairs my first big purchase lol
Was lied to by multiple employees 1 of whom was my sales person I believe his name is Deon about a battery pack being included with oversized electrical reclining chair. Called to see why it was not with the chair when delivered and the male store manager stated "they don't come with the furniture and then said when you get the chairs you sign off on a paper saying as is and we don't do returns on furniture from the back" which I never asked about his attitude reminded me of a used car salesman selling lemons which immediately upset me even more because before i spent my money he was so nice asking about my marriage and telling how he had been married over 25 years or so and pretending to be giving the best price and adding discounts all the while He was standing next to deon when the entire sale took place and knew that I was given a blank as is paper to sign lishowing no furniture damage. Over $5000 spent and you expect to be pleased with service. I feel as tho I would rather give this furniture away than use it. Long story short the manger Said I would get a call back the following monday about the battery pack and several weeks later still no call or email response. I hope this deters some customers because I would rather order delivery from the internet like i usually do but do to time restraints i didnt. In All honest and the manager was nasty but I just shortened the conversation for sake of time. The only reason I picked furniture from the back was because the newer furniture on their sales floor has the cheaper thinner leather compared to the furniture in the backwhich the employees pointed out and said the furniture in the back was only their due to space constraints. I even purchase a 1000 dollar warranty which I regret now. 👎 p.s. ordered a pack off line for under 60 bucks. I just don't like being lied to the being disrespected and lied to even more with the supervisors.

Been to six furniture stores to find that “just right” recliner for myself. Started with Ashley Furniture and after five more, I ended back at Ashley Furniture. My sales person, Courtney, helped me find “just right”, fit and price. Everyone needing to buy or browse will be amazed at the selection and prices in comparison to other stores. I’m very pleased with my experience at Ashley Furniture.
This has been the most frustrating delivery experience I have ever had. Let's start with the beginning of the purchase. The original delivery date for my furniture was scheduled for June 12th. As this date was getting closer and closer, I never heard from Ashley about a scheduled time for the delivery. I called the local store telephone number, which goes to a call center. The call center advised my delivery was never planned by my sales rep. To make a long story short, the call center provided a delivery date out of courtesy for June 13th rather than the originally scheduled delivery date of June 12th. On June 13th, Ashley's third-party delivery service showed up to pick up the items I purchased, and of course, my items were not ready for delivery, so the delivery truck left. No one in the store took any accountability for my items not being ready and kept making excuses for why my items were not prepared. Now, here is where it gets unbelievable. I had to call ten times and eventually decided to visit the store. I spoke with (2) Assistant managers, my sales rep, and the GM (Thomas). I was told it was their error and that the delivery service would return later that afternoon, if not first thing in the morning, on June 14th, but rest assured, my furniture would be delivered. I felt somewhat satisfied that my furniture would be delivered, considering this will be the 3rd date. Still, I trusted that coming from the GM would ensure the delivery would take place as a courtesy to a customer whose delivery has been delayed this many times. However, as the evening progressed, I grew concerned as I had not heard from anyone regarding the delivery time. I called the assistant manager and was told they tried, and the only resolution was to have one of the sales rep's family members deliver my furniture on the back of a truck. The continuous unfulfilled promises and delays, and to have to go back and forth for four days to have this happen, is simply unacceptable. Of course, I don't have a choice but to allow the sales rep family member to deliver my furniture. Now, here we are. It's June 14th, 3:30 pm, and my sales rep called and said his family member couldn't deliver my furniture because he had no help. Ha! I am in limbo and would like to cancel my order, but I love the pieces I purchased, and all I want is the delivery for which I paid a fee. I want a concrete date and time ASAP. From what I understand, no one in management has phone numbers to call anyone to get anything resolved. They can only email. So, I must wait for them to email whoever and await a response. I decided to try the call center again, considering the physical store location was not helpful. I called in and spoke with a supervisor named Maria, and she said she would try to get my furniture delivered on June 15th, but I will have to wait for a call back to confirm. So, this is now Day 5 of continuous promises not delivered. It is now June 15th and I received a call from Maria that my furniture would be delivered today and to await a time for delivery. Soon afterwards I received a text to schedule delivery time BUT it was for June 13th that’s right June 13th this date has already passed. I thought this was an error so I called into the call center and was told my furniture will not be delivered until June 19th. I am so upset at this point I called the GM (Thomas) and he explained he was tired of trying to get my furniture delivered and he asked me to cancel my order. Can you imagine a GM asking a customer to cancel their order? All I want is my furniture delivered and no one at Ashley is trying to make that happen. I keep receiving false delivery dates not upholding their promise for delivery. Buyer be aware!!!!!!!!!! Once you purchase your furniture, that’s a rap! You are on your own because if something is wrong, you must go through an act of congress to speak to a human, then you have to wait for the human to send out emails, wait for the human to get a response, and now you are in this issue for several days.

These guys are absolutely terrible and I have a friend that works there and he goes to school and they make him work from 7:00 to 3:00 which means that he only has two hours of sleep before he goes to school. Also the manager has slammed the door on my friends finger and throughout the entire day of school his finger was in immense pain. Also they took money out of his PAYCHECK to pay for pizza WITHOUT his PERMISSION.
They do not honor their warranties. They lie to your face about almost everything. Our loveseat broke and we tried for over a year to have it swapped out. But bever got it resolved. We had to run them down and almost force them to honor the warranty ( which is very expensive) and we couldn't get what we wanted. They no longer made that design of loveseat. Then told us not to get rid of the broken loveseat, to hold on to it because they would haul it off. LIE!!!! They wont touch the old broken one. After spending THOUSANDS of dollars with them. You got me once.... NEVER NEVER again Ashley....

Ashley Furniture is the best. It last longer than the cheap furniture. I had a bedroom set for 15 years before I got rid of it & it’s still looks like new. I gave it to someone who wanted it because I was going to throw it out to the road. I’m glad I was of help for that person.
UPDATE: Jan 9, 2025 To whom it may concern, I’m hoping this is the LAST time I have to reach out to a company who has already charged so much from us but has provided so little support. My husband and I purchased our Foyland King Panel Storage Bed back in February 2024. It was delivered the following March, and everything seemed fine until it wasn’t. Flash forward to December 26, 2024. While we were sleeping the bed frame gave a crack then a thump, suddenly dropping us a few inches. We got us to check what it could be and behold the slats were cracked and the support legs were broken. We filed a claim online on December 27, 2024 only for it to be IMMEDIATELY denied. We called a support line and the guy told us that since our manufacturer warranty is still valid, the online customer portal WOULD NOT accept the claim. We figured okay, let’s go an alternate route. The support guy told us to contact our local Ashley Furniture’s support line for assistance, which we did. When I reached out to them I was met with a pleasant support staff person, Maria, and she told us to use the online portal to file a claim and she told me what link to use and what we would need to file. So we filed another claim only for it to be IMMEDIATELY DENIED, yet again! We called the support line again and got in touch with someone named Nyla, who was also pleasant to work with. She tried to tell us to use the online portal as well at which point I interrupted her to say that we filed a claim twice with the same result. Nyla, then, said she would file a claim on our behalf and that we just needed to send her pictures of the damage. So we did. Please see them in the thread below. After Nyla helped us file a claim, she told us that it would be about 2 business days before a repairman would reach out to schedule a time of repair with us. We waited a full week and NO ONE CALLED! I called the support line again on Friday, January 3, 2025. Luckily, I was met again with Maria who seemed shocked that I called again. Well that’s what happens when a company promises you support and they don’t deliver. The customer tends to call back for assistance. I’m hoping this reaches someone who cares about a customer who’s purchased roughly $10k worth of furniture from them. My last attempt at rectification will be to post this email thread in its entirety on Ashley Furniture’s social media in an attempt to get help on this situation. Please don’t think that I won’t. We’ve been burned by Ashley since we purchased this bed, and frankly, I’m pissed at how poorly they care for their customers. Friendly people and product selection is okay but could have a better variety to suit the needs of all walks of life. The only issue I had was paying on my purchase. Whatever software program they use needs to be upgraded. Also I don't think it's appropriate to walk off with a customers debit card, out of sight. That should stop. I am glad I caught the sale for a $1300 king bed which was a few hundred lower because I know the furniture there is very overpriced.

Derrick did not come through for me on a purchase, don’t buy from the outlet side ,he lied about having electric cables to operate the leg recliners, they threw the loveseat on top of the couch no protective wrapping on couch or loveseat in the truck The loveseat was marked up on one side and wasn’t like that at the store ,then the driver said he couldn’t bring the couch up 3 flights of stairs without damaging it. Done shopping there

I walked in and purchased a couch from the Outlet section in this Ashley location. Caleb greeted me and Deon as well (I went a few times in one day) and both were great. I honestly would’ve purchased my couch online if it wasn’t for these two gentlemen. I was able to leave with the couch I wanted in under 30 minutes once I made my decision. I got a good deal and had my previous Ashley couch for several years. Needed something smaller and temporary until I move again.

Love this store! I've bought almost all my furniture in my house from Ashleys Outlet on Airline Hwy. Huge selection and a beautiful showroom. My Sales staff Bryan was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable in his craft which made the process run smoothly - not pushy. And the store is just fun to browse for home decorating.
We scored a black Friday clearance sale, listed Ashley price was $4900 for the set, Amazon had it for $3999 + shipping. We got the entire set roughly 55% off with 5 yr warranty and a pop up table. Sales was no pressure, very helpful and great guidance.

The bedroom set I purchased is nice for the price. Amber my salesperson was very nice, however, she did not know what she was talking about. I specifically said I don't want a mattress in a box, but that is exactly what I got. I could have purchased this set online for cheaper but because I have medical issues I decided to go through the store and have them deliver and pickup my old mattress. Buyer BEWARE! They charged me $269 for delivery. They left the old mattress leaning against my fence outside because it is at "their discretion" if they haul it away or not, whatever that means. Now I am stuck with the old mattress. They explained that removal only means taking it outside. I could and should have ordered from Amazon and paid a handyman to set this up for cheaper. I was in a hurry and it cost me. I do want to say the store is nice and so was our salesperson. She did not give us the correct information. So either she was lying to make the sale ( which I doubt), or she really did not know all of their mattresses are in a box. The delivery and "haul away " is expensive and misleading at best. That is the only reason for 2 stars. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!

WORST customer service ever. I purchased a bedroom set and was promised delivery in one week. They called the day before and rescheduled for the following week because the bed fame was going to arrive after hours. Then they call to confirm delivery two days before just to call and reschedule again the next day because the bedframe was on backorder. They should have just told me the truth upfront. Canceled my order and will never buy from here again.

Do NOT buy from this store. I’m not sure how they have such good reviews. I bought a 4,000 SECTIONAL. It was finally delivered and within minutes of them leaving, the recliner on the sectional wasn’t working and the other side of the couch was broken and leaning. NOW, I have to wait WEEKS for someone to come out so they can “try” to fix it before replacing. How about just replace it, instead of trying to fix something that was supposed to be brand new WITH NO ISSUES. 0/10 recommend. Please save yourself from the time and frustration and buy from another store.

I was warmly greeted by the manager when I walked into the door and placed with a salesperson. The salesperson listen to my needs and assisted to meet my need. I was pleased with the professional manner the salesperson handled the sale. It has been two days, I have not received a call relating to the delivery of the furniture I purchased. I am dissatisfied with the way delivery is being handled. This is the first time I did not know a delivery date before I left the store after a purchase.

My experience in the store was pleasant. They have a large selection of nice furniture. My problem is this- after purchasing furniture in the store, I looked the items up on their website to get styling ideas and discovered that each item I purchased was at least a few hundred dollars cheaper by purchasing it online. In total I would have saved $1300+ by purchasing online. When I tried to contact the store to discuss the issue, I found there is no way to contact the store directly. I had to call an 800 number and they submit a ticket to the store to get them to call you back. I am told they should price match the items online, but I have yet to receive a call back. I suppose I will update this if/when I do.

This is the worst experience I have had in my life with a furniture store. I was told that I was approved for a free interest account the first 6 month which turned out to be not true. I have went to Ashley multiple times for this and Ashley was supposed to help me then disappears. I have called customer service so many times and no help. Now they keep telling that they do not handle these matters in the store. Customer service is no help. I’m not sure what to do at this point. I am being charged monthly late fees of $40 and recurring interest waiting on some help that seems impossible. Micah at the store tried to help but no luck . What do I have to do to get some help ??? Genesis the lending company told me there is nothing they can do , Ashley furniture would have to give them a call to update them with that promotion . At this point they r ruining my credit and I’m getting no help from a big company !!

If you have any problems all they do is pass you back and forth between the store and call center and give you the run around till your out of time and they claim they can’t do anything for you! The delivery is horrible they don’t care about your home when they go slamming things around. Then hurry up and leave knowing the sofa wasn’t working to pass the problem off to another person. This place has horrible customer service!! Again STAY AWAY!!

Spent over a week to try to find my mother a leather powered lift recliner w/ lumber, footrest and head adjustments, zero gravity, cup holders, reading light the lowest I could find was over 1800$ . Ashley furniture not only had what I wanted and provided a fantastic Memorial day sale I was able to get a power reclining sofa (both ends )with all the trimming for less then 1 recliner would have cost me and the young man was was attentive to my elderly mother and TOOK THE TIME to make sure I got everything I wanted...Thanks Caleb..refreshing to see a sales person put the needs of customer before their own. Soon as we walked in the store, we were greeted by Ms. Amber. Me and my mother went looking for a mattress and day bed only. Amber was so very helpful to us from start to finish. We ended up getting the day bed, not one but two mattresses we needed, and also a nicely used dresser drawer. If you’re looking for furniture Ashely’s is the place to go.
My daughter and son bought me a lift recliner today from Martice and he was so good to us. He helped us get a great deal. I was so comfortable I did not want to leave. He even made sure I had a good mattress and bed set while I was there. We were so impressed with his help thank you so much.

The paperwork and business side of things took approximately 40 minutes. Mr. Dunlap answered all of our questions promptly and with the confidence of someone who knows their products and how to anticipate the needs of his clients. Couldn't be more grateful for his kindness and assistance! Please ask for him of you stop by. (As a side note, unlike many folks in sales, he didn't ask us to review him. We were genuinely impressed by his skill and work ethic and grateful for the fabulous deal we got and the financing options. We will be back if any other needs arise!).

Double and triple check the phone number when you schedule delivery from these folks. My couch was delayed over a week due to an old phone number being on file. Triple check with several folks to make sure they they have the right information. They will just keep stinging you along until you help them figure out the problem. Should have spent my money with another furniture store. Thanks to all the Ashley folks for telling me “there is nothing they can do”. Really made me feel special. Lesson learned.

Micah greeted us when we walked in, asked us what brought us in and style we was looking for, he pointed us in the areas that we would find what we wanted and told us about the promotions going on in store. The best thing about the time we spent in store was we never felt hounded and he let us shop around. Once we found what we was looking for we waited for him to finish with another customer and looked around the store for future furniture. The checkout process was fast and explained well. Upon returning home we decided to swap one item to another. Called the store and Micah was more than helpful with making the change.

Micah and the entire team was incredible from start to finish in EACH of my visits to the store, multiple calls & texts as well as circling the store dozens of times. Never once did I feel like I was a nuisance or wasting their time. I definitely witnessed how all of the customers received VIP service. As a result, I bought a bedroom set, sleeper sofa for my guest bedroom, living room sofa chaise w/ end table AND a dining table. I’m so relieved that I was in the area when I stopped by when I did. We spent thousands of dollars on dining room furniture and two bedroom sets. Most of the furniture was damaged when it arrived. Five months later, we still haven’t received the correct items. It is beyond frustrating because the company does not have an accountability system. When there is an issue the store points to the warehouse, who points to customer service, who then points to no one. We have been beyond patient but they had the audacity to deliver us more damaged furniture this week. Purchasing furniture from Ashley Furniture was by far the absolute worse decision I ever made. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!
Seems as though ashley took down previous review, recently purchased living room set with " white glove delivery " and set up. Watched VERY unprofessional delivery drop sofa in mud, force 4 foot sofa through 3 foot door jamb. All of this resulting in tearing both pieces, damaging my flooring. And to top it off, they asked wife to get drill and remove plywood to set up herself. When I questioned as to why, I was told " we don't work for ashley!." Now im stuck with nonfunctional merchandise and being given the run around about whose responsible for my damages. It is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone on phone.buyes beware when being told about exceptional service!!!!

My experience was nothing short of amazing! Deon was very knowledgeable about the pieces offered on the sales floor. He took his time answering all of my questions and ensured that I was satisfied and fully understood. Update: I was provided false information when purchasing the items. My order was delayed many times. I received a call about partial delivery that I missed. When I called back they said my order was delayed two more months. Two weeks ago my update stated that my items would be ready for delivery in two weeks and that was inaccurate. Really loves the pieces I selected but this is crazy.

Very poor customer service. We purchased several pieces of furniture from the Baton Rouge store. It took 4 weeks longer for the furniture to come in than what we were told. I believe we were given a false delivery date just so we would go ahead with the order. Since we made it clear we didn't want to wait 4-6 weeks. One of our end tables was broken when it arrived and we still have not had it replaced or even a reply. Not to mention the warehouse in Manderville is so dysfunctional, it took forever for them to scramble around looking for our order. NEVER AGAIN, this is the last time I order anything from this store.

Dealing with Ashley Furniture has been the absolute worst customer service experience of my life! It took much longer than expected to initially get the furniture that they said was in stock and available. Then when it was delivered I had damaged pieces and was told we could have them exchanged. Well the “exchange” has now taken almost 8 months to complete. After many canceled appointments, then not showing up, telling me then they no longer had the item in stock or it was not going to available, it was finally delivered. I will NEVER buy another thing from Ashley, nor would I recommend anyone to come to Ashley in the future.

I have never had a worse experience with a furniture company than I have recently with Ashley furniture. I thought everything was going as planned I picked out the perfect living room furniture. One of my couches was delivered broken. And I’ve been told on multiple occasions I’ll hear from the repair man to fix my broken couch. I’ve been waiting almost 3 weeks when I was told I’d hear from someone within 10 days. The representatives on the website end the chat constantly making it very difficult to find a solution. I love my couches and they were actually delivered somewhat quickly. But it is infuriating paying for something that is broken and then to not receive any customer service on getting the issue fixed. Especially when I’ve paid $3000 for broken merchandise. After this headache I’d rather just return them and find something somewhere else. I highly regret going with Ashley furniture. And that’s just honesty. (The metal frame in the automatic recliner couch is bent in multiple spots making it lean very noticeably outward when reclined)

Bad service . I ordered the set of kitchen table and chairs . They delivered with broken table and they said they will send another one . We waiting 2 weeks they still not delivery the table . When I called them they said they don’t know when the table delivery, they left the chairs at my house and I told them if you don’t delivery table for me I return everything, they said I can’t return the chairs, I ordered the table set with chair and they don’t delivery the table for me and don’t let I return the chairs . First time buy from them and never again .

I bought a sectional couch in August and it showed up in October. The wait wasn’t the bad part, I knew it would take a while. The problem was that every piece that came was either damaged or the wrong color. It is now December and it still has T been corrected. I have called many times and no one ever answers or the call goes to dead air. This is the worst experience I have had in a long time or maybe ever. Very disappointing and borderline angering that you can call during business hours multiple times across several days and get no one. Worst 5 grand I have ever spent! I feel like they got my money and now no one cares.

Seth was friendly and honest and helped me find a recliner I liked that was in my budget. When I decided on the one I wanted, the manager even came by to say hello. Was able to take it home with me that day, and another employee helped me load it into my SUV. My first time visiting, but I plan to go back.
I purchased my bed from Ashley Furniture on Airline in Baton Rouge, LA at the middle of August 2022. It was scheduled for delivery on 8/26/22. That delivery date got pushed back to 9/14/22. That date got pushed back to 9/21/22 when they only made a partial delivery with the footboard needing to be replaced. They came back on 9/29/22 to replace the footboard and set the bed up only to discover that when they left the partial delivery they didn't leave the hardware. They came back on 10/11/22 with the hardware only to discover that now the headboard was damaged. On 10/28/22 they were supposed to bring the new headboard, assemble the bed and deliver a chest of drawers that I had ordered only to leave headboard, not deliver the chest of drawers and not assemble the bed. I am still waiting for them to come and assemble the bed, give any financial compensation or resolve this matter with any sense of urgency. Don't purchase from them!!!
One of the managers, Jon, was phenomenal! His management and our sales lady Jade took care of us all the way through the process. They were flexible and made the financing happen where other stores didn’t even bother. Everyone went above and beyond and we loved the service! Shop here. Seriously.

Of the major furniture stores along Airline hwy - Baton Rouge, the Ashley store was by far the most welcoming and of highest class (though not the most expensive). Clean store. Good showroom selection. Sales professional Shanda is the absolute best. She’ll provide knowledgable help when you need it but plenty of space when appropriate.
Micah made it easy. Answered all my questions promptly and professionally. I would highly recommend visiting Ashley.

Bought something that didn’t work on my sectional. A battery pack. It was suppose control the sectional but didn’t control the phone charging box so had to use a card anyway, so didn’t need the battery and the refuse to refund. They said no refund on anything so all beware I was told once you have the merchandise is your possession it’s yours sales are final
First timing visiting Ashley Furniture. The store was clean and very nice products. The sales representative, Jay who assisted me went above and beyond to ensure I was pleased. Very pleased. Waiting to see how the delivery goes.
Do not buy furniture at this store. Me and my fiancee went and placed an order in July and everything seemed fine everyone was nice and even mentioned it being delivered the next week. We were going out of town so scheduled it for the following two weeks in August. The day came and we missed work to catch the delivery and no one came. We were called the last minute and informed that it was mishap and it would not be delivered for that date. This happened 2 more times. The last date we got was September 14th. On the 13th I was patient and thought I would hear from the delivery team by one o'clock still nothing so I called and found out my furniture was not even available to schedule. Needless to say I was furious and called the customer service number where I talked to a supervisor, and he told me the estimated date of the furniture even being available to schedule delivery was October 12th. When I said that is just not acceptable he told me he would let me know in 48 hours when it was coming in if sooner than october and if not I could pick something else. I was not happy with that because that's not okay, how are you going to tell me I can pick something else that I didn't even want to just make due??? So I wait the 48 hours and still hear nothing. Following that I cancelled my order and they tried to save it with the mention of a 100 dollar credit (our order was over 3,000) and a reselection of product that they couldn't garauntee I wouldn't be fighting the same freaking issue. I'm telling y'all, save yourself the bull and just go to rooms to go.

Store info says Sunday office hours are 12-8. I called and chose option 3 phone rang for a long time, no one picked up and I got disconnected. I called again and chose option 4, a recorded message said the office was closed! Huh?
My daughter. I ordered a dining room table and server from Ashley Furniture on Airline Hwy. in October of LAST YEAR. I’ve been getting the run around ever since. I’ve been calling every couple of months to get updates being that the sales person does not follow up once they sell you furniture. I kept getting told it would be in in a another month or so. Well, next month will be a whole year and I still don’t have it. I go to the store Tuesday this past week and the manager tells me to give her til Friday to see what’s going on and promised me she would call me Friday afternoon. Well, I didn’t get a call. I go in today to see why I didn’t get a call. Her excuse was she got busy. Needless to say, I canceled the order. This is the worse customer service I’ve ever had. I think I was more than patient with these unprofessional people. Horrible service 😡 Never again.

They have opened an account in my named fraudulent & promised to fix it, accepted fault, and now my credit score has been severely compromised because of this forcing me to push back the purchase of my home! They have been giving me the run around for months and now won’t even speak to me about “my own account” admitted to firing my sells woman because I’m not the only person this has happened to. Go anywhere else ! Not here. Oh and also they refused to talk to me because they said I have an attorney. Even after I told them I didn’t. I delivered a letter to them by hand and now I am seeking legal action

WORST Customer Service Ever! We purchased 10 of these side chairs for our dining table in February and waited over 4 months for them to be delivered. When the driver took the chairs off the truck and brought them inside, it was immediately obvious that several (5) chairs had an issue with uneven legs and were very wobbly. The driver called the service department on the spot, but they refused to take those chairs back, saying they would send out a technician to repair the chairs on-site. We waited another month for a tech to show up, and from the moment that he arrived he was in a big rush to leave. He looked at a few of the chairs and loosened and re-tightened some of the screws one one of them, only to say he could not repair them so they would need to be replaced. After that, we heard nothing from Ashley so today we called them. Their customer service rep "Osi" told us that the tech had approved 3 of the 5 defective chairs to be replaced and we would receive them in a month or so. He was so rude and disrespectful, saying that their tech was the "expert" and what he says goes. We explained that the tech only looked at a few chairs and only tried to fix one of them. We said we will return the chairs (they still have the tags on them) but Osi said they could not be returned. Osi left us on hold for another 20 minutes to speak to a manager who has only agreed to send another tech to evaluate the other chairs, so now we have to take time off to meet another tech. I will update my review as this moves forward, but I'm just shocked at how rude this customer service rep was. We have done a lot of business with Ashley over the years, but this is the end of the road.
Very friendly and attentive staff. We must have been asked by 5 different employees if we needed assistance as we browsed the store. We were helped by Ms. Trishawn and she was great. Very personable, knowledgeable, and most of all..patient. We bought a sectional and dining room table during a 20% off sale. Very happy with our buying experience.

The delivery of my items was excellent, despite the fact that it was a partial order. The service was excellent.
Our salesman, Micah, was outstanding. He could not have been more professional and helpful. He made sure we got exactly what we needed. The problem is the delivery process. They do not deliver the product when they say they will. We bought everything based on the fact that it was in stock and would all be delivered in two weeks. A few items came in two weeks. A few more showed up a week later. The rest has still not been delivered after 4 weeks. I will never shop with Ashley again. There are too many good furniture stores in Baton Rouge to put up with this type of service.
We purchased a living room set for our first house today, having an idea of what we wanted but changed our minds completely after David took us through the store. He not only showed us his favorites, but explained why they were his favorites, rated on quality, comfort, and/or how easily the couches were to clean. We changed our minds so many times and went back and forth on what we wanted but David was so patient with us and sweet! Our furniture shopping journey is far from over, and we will definitely be returning soon for more help from David! Thank you again!
This store is a scam. Do not go to this store, you have lot of other stores and online. My order was rescheduled four times and it was suppose to be delivered today, but it is not an open order anymore. They promise a date and reschedule it without informing you. If you end up canceling it they will charge you 10%, that's why i call it a scam. I will post the evidence in chronological order in my upcoming reviews.
Management was horrible! The furniture took an additional month to be delivered. Dresser came with large blemishes due to it being unwrapped and loaded in a wide open unorganized delivery truck. The store has yet to contact me after nearly a month about a replacement. Please don’t go to the Airline location unless you want an expensive nightmare!

Please, do yourself a favor and go with a company that cares about their customers and knows what they're doing. 3 delivery attempts so far and they've rescheduled each time because of various reasons. It's been 3 months since I paid nearly $3,000 on a bunk bed and sofa and still haven't seen anything. Every time I've called I am sent to some non-local call center who couldn't care less about my concerns. Do not waste your time.
13 months after order and still waiting on furniture, also make sure your furniture isn't damaged. Our coffee table had a hairline crack straight to the table top.
If you want to teach you children hardship and overcoming great obstacles have them purchase furniture from Ashley here in Baton Rouge

I was led to believe that i was purchasing a new sofa set that had been "discontinued". It was sitting in the back warehouse. I purchased the set at "new" pricing and picked up the set the next day. When I unloaded the soda and set it up I found a tear in the front of the sofa that had been sewed in an attempt to repair the damage. I immediately called the store to let them know of the damage and was told that my purchase was "as is" and that I could not get a replacement. The sales person never told me that it was not a new sofa set. As of yet nothing has been done to resolve this issue. Extremely dissatisfied!

When my girlfriend & I walked in we passed approximately 4 workers & nobody stopped us or even attempted to ask us if we needed help finding anything, but as we walked further back in the store we came across a young man named Caleb. He was GREAT from start to finish & I was very impressed at how thorough he was in explaining the different things such as how to finance through the store as well as different sales that were going on because of Memorial Day to even finding me the right mattress that aligned with my body properly. He also made sure I found something that was reasonable to my budget. When it was time to start the business aspect of everything I was approved for for a certain amount & he made a call & got them to approve me for a little more because the furniture I was purchasing was $94 more than what I was approved for. This prevented me from coming out of pocket $94. I will definitely be back to purchase more furniture for my new apartment & future homes to to come & when I do I’ll make sure to ask for CALEB & you all should do the same thing as well. 🫡💯 (only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the rest of the staff lol.. they just did not give off friendly & welcoming vibes-they just would look at you)

The service at the store was very good they young lady who helped me was very nice, but when I purchased a mattress they say you get a 90 day trail and you can switch out if it's not a good fit for you but what they don't tell you that to return for another mattress under the warranty is that you have to pay a 20% restocking fee and in my case it would've been 800 dollars. But anyway when they arrived with the 5k dollar mattress it was damaged and I refused. Long story short IT WAS HELL TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THEM. So I do not recommend buying a mattress from here because if it's not the right fit for you, you will have to pay to exchange it go to mattress direct no exchange fee and you get a longer warranty.

Order furniture in November 2021 delivery date was Feb 2022. Furniture never arrived. Received half of a bedroom set. The storage drawer and mattress for day bed but no bed. Broken head board that delivery guys set up with a through and through crack. New delivery date after I called inquiring about furniture is July 2022.... but I'm being billed. Messages representative was amazing but the rest of my experience has been extremely disappointing. The stars are for my rep.

At first I gave them a 5 star rating because the customer service was amazing. 1st thing I’m not big on leasing furniture or anything. I don’t play about my credit score and was told they would do a soft pull and it wouldn’t affect my credit. While I’m talking to the lady it went down 2 points (credit score) but she told me this So I wasn’t mad about it I expected this. Four days later an hard pull was charged to my account it went down 11 points and then another day passes by it went down 15 more points mind you Im furious at this point I will not be getting anything else from Ashley’s it’s too hard to build a credit score and get easily destroyed Im a freshman in college I wouldn’t recommend Ashley’s unless your paying full amount that day update they are so unprofessional

My Fiancé & I purchased over $10,000 worth of new home items back in July of 2021. Paid off. It is almost ONE YEAR LATER. Still haven’t gotten all of our items. Keep hearing it’ll be a date, keeps changing. Received items that didn’t have all the pieces so of course we have nothing in whole put together. Can’t get a straight answer. Never have I been able to reach any help. We will never recommend anyone to purchase from such a unprofessional furniture store. I am so angry. One whole year of waiting and still unhappy with it all. Today we receive the rest of our bed pieces, of course still waiting for a piece of our tv entertainment center that was never delivered also. Everything’s still in boxes just sitting for months…….

Was very satisfied and easily sold on multiple pieces of furniture due to the amazing service at the store. However this experience soon turned into a nightmare once we left our store and the purchase was made. We were told it would take 4-6 weeks after purchase for the items to come in. it is the end of the week we were supposed to get a call about delivery and have heard no word. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE!! The online tracking doesn't even recognize my order. I cant get ahold of anyone to get an ETA on my furniture!! WHERE IS MY FURNITURE and WHEN IS IT COMING IN?! As someone who paid 10+grand I should at least be able to contact some one! Or at least know where my furniture is and have updates on when it will be coming on. Very disappointed, after this sale I will not go back.
Failure To Be HONEST After hours of a sales visit we were informed that 8 of our 12 pieces were avaible for delivery. Only to find out we were BLANTLY LIED TO for the sake of a sale. This was a rather large sale. If you would like good effective communications from HONEST sales people DO NOT COME HERE. I have text the number provided to attempt to resolve issues to no avail. STAY AWAY! UPDATE... 5 months later ASHLEY attempted to deliver a buffet that was cancelled due to not fitting in our space. I personally visited the store and cancelled this piece. Three weeks now I have been waiting on proof this was in fact cancelled. 8/8/22 FIFTH attempt to contact a store mgr. currently on hold for 24 minutes nd NO ONE CAN HELP!!! Still waiting for my order after 3 months. Today I received a call from them telling me it was ready to pick up so I asked if I could go today they lady said yes. Few mins later she called again saying that only the chairs were ready to pick up, I said ok I’m still going and asked what time they close she said 8 and just to make sure before driving all the way to Gonzales I called and they told me my order wasn’t ready and that the warehouse was closed today. So I don’t recommend this place!!! And is not the first problem I had with them. I guess I will have to go and cancel it

This was my first post. “Great! Great! Great! Ms. Ty was very helpful! All the staff were wonderful. All smiles and all willing to help. I will shop there again!” The two stars goes for my overall experience, but the last CSR, Ms. Amber I would give her directly 5⭐️.My first overall experience was great . Then when my order wasn’t delivered on the date I was told it would be delivered I waited three week before I went back into store to see what was holding the shipment up. I spoke directly to my salesperson and her response was she don’t know what is going on with the delivery. She said she would have her manager call me later that day and she would give me a call or text if her manager didn’t call. I never received a call or text from her or a manager. So a week later I go back into the store to speak with someone to cancel my order. The customer service representative looks up my order and call for my salesperson to come to the CS counter. Do you think she came? NO. So the CSR say she will put in a ticket to expedite my shipment and it should take 72 hours. She told me she would be sure to have my salesperson give me a call. Another week goes by and again no call. So you know I go back to the store and speak with another customer representative. Ms. Amber, who was the only helpful one. Thank you Ms. Amber! So she opens my order and guess what the previous rep never put in the ticket to expedite my order. Now I’m shaking my head. I ask Ms. Amber to cancel my order. So she put my in cancel status and ask if she can have a manager call me later to try to work thinks out with my order. Later that day she calls me back. She informs me that the Assistant Manager felt that she shouldn’t call, so she was leaving the call for the store manager, who would be in two days later. Two days later the store manager did NOT give me a call. Ms. Amber called me that day. Ms. Amber did what she said, she was able to get the shipment expedited and I appreciate her for her efforts. Thank you So Much Ms. Amber! But the previous experience, managers not calling, CSR not doing what they say they are doing, salespersons avoiding their customer, all that disgusted me. So I asked her to still cancel me order.

I gave 3 stars only because the manager was very kind. However, One of the workers (a young lady) needs to be trained on being straightforward with the customer and provide the customer with accurate info instead of being a fast talker. This is the 1st time I've ever felt like I was dealing with a dishonest car salesman in a furniture store! I'd probably shop here in the future if I can deal with someone else. Maybe.

Purchase came out to just shy of $3,000 in early December and have had zero customer service since. I have to call over a dozen times to get someone to answer the phone to provide information on my order. Since my order I was told 6-8 weeks, but to call every couple weeks to check on it. I have spoken to someone at the store over half a dozen times and all they tell me is 8-10 weeks but do not have any further information. I spoke to someone last week who actually cared and said they would submit a ticket and I would receive a call within 3 days. It has been 6 business days and still no call. I called the store 15 times over the course of today with no luck on anyone answering the phone. I will go in this weekend to cancel my order and get a refund. I have heard good things about Ashley furniture as a whole but this store in particular is nothing short of disappointing.

Went to this store to buy a bedroom set for my son. Ended out around $1700. Swiped my card, associate informed me she had it rung up under her profile. So it was bought under her name and she would cancel. That the money would be back in my account by the end of the day. And that I could either buy it again before the funds settled. Or I could wait and come back. They knocked around $100 off for the inconvenience. I went ahead and rebought in store. And the funds didn’t settle till the following day. I was told everything but the dresser would be delivered by Wednesday of this week. Took off work early, never got a call. Today is Thursday, called them. Was informed it was 5-7 weeks out, talked to a lady on the phone that said the bed was available but nothing else was. Told her I was tired of the headache and wanted a refund. She hung up in my face. Called back, went through everything again. New guy said it would be 2-3 business days before they called me to CONFIRM I was canceling. Then another 7-10 days for the refund to show up. Place is a joke.

I had my house destroyed by a tree thanks to hurricane Ida. So I was in the Market for EVERTHING to refurnish my house and was so happy when I walked into Ashley home store and Micah Wooten approached me. I found and got everything I need in one place. The store is HUGE and the sales associates are very friendly and willing to help. I had been to places where people will walk off to help someone else and then text you 2 days later on the product you were questioning. So ashley sold me because Micah never left my side through the whole process and it was a one stop shop... defiantely a great experience.

My wife and I purchased a entertainment center from here a little over 2 months ago. We were going to just shop online and have what we wanted shipped but we wanted to actually see it in person. So I called ahead and they had the few we wanted on display at our local store. We were pleased with the in house selection and our salesman helped us pick out which one was best for us. We thoroughly enjoyed shopping here. Now for the bad…. Everything after the sale was horrible. From our order not even populating online for status to getting a different ETA every time we turned around. So we were informed online (before purchase) that it would estimate 3-4 weeks for delivery. Then in store told 12-16 weeks after purchasing. 2 weeks ago we called and it then informed us 17-19 weeks on back order. Then we contacted customer support who told us 2 weeks out. We were completely confused and didn’t know when our items would arrive. If you want an ETA DO NOT CALL!! contact the customer service for the main corporate they will get you your correct ETA. Now for the delivery…. this will make me never shop here again if they continue to outsource to this company. If possible and they have it in stock, just pick it up yourself it will help save your headache. Two gentlemen who were the most unprofessional people I’ve ever seen, I tried to make short conversation with them, completely ignored me multiple times, left trash all in my house, stripped one of the holes that the bridge screws into. didn’t even put the entertainment center against the wall, so my wife and I had to move it ourselves. I was just ready for them to get out of my house. Paid $149 for premium white glove delivery. Also after they left I noticed they left a massive rut in my front yard. So do yourselves a favor, if possible, bring it home yourself. Now for the item. It looks good, no cracks or any damage other than the stripped screw. Only two complaints are the right cabinet on the console is not installed straight and it looks crooked so idk how I’m gonna fix that because it looks tacky. And it was missing a grommet cover. Overall, I probably won’t shop here again unless I bring the item I purchase home myself. Hope this review helps someone. Happy New Year!

EDIT After being given the email below I have contacted them repeatedly and still have not received any help. Ive resorted to contacting the BBB in an attempt to get someone from Ashley's to respond to me and it has resulted in Ashley's canceling the order I'm making payments on but havent received. I texted the number they send so you can get updates on your deliveries and that is how I found out my order had been canceled. I have not heard anything Ashleys about canceling my order, theyve just canceled it while letting me continue to make payments to the bank it was financed through. It's been nothing but ruined credit and a massive heache. Buying from Ashley's has been a nightmare. It was mistake after mistake from our sales associate from day one which lead to higher costs because purchases were entered incorrectly, a delinquent payment since my address was entered incorrectly, even after I pointed it out and she assured me she would fix my address, it was never fixed so I didn't receive my first bill, and now dealing with incredibly rude customer service when they call to set up deliveries that don't actually come even after I've lost pay taking time off work to be there for the delivery Ashley's called me to set up. I was told I need to make myself more available for Ashley. It has been absolutely horrible and every attempt to contact customer service has failed. After just receiving a partial order we discovered our sales associate also messed up our end tables, we have 2 end tables we dont like at all, that we never would have chosen, that don't match our coffee table when it was supposed to be a matching set. Yet another disappointment.

I purchased furniture from Ashley in September and October. We paid cash for our furniture. The sale association told us once we paid for the furniture we should receive a delivery date so we did we was supposed to receive our furniture last month November but we didn’t, on top of that no one from Ashley reached out to me or my husband about any delays with receiving our furniture. So we went into the store to get an update and a status on our furniture the store tell us that the rails for our bed was delayed. The store tell us the we will get the furniture in March of 2022. Me and my family went to Houston TX this passed weekend and purchased furniture and will be here on Monday. When we return back into the states on Sunday we went straight to the store and to cancel the order and to receive a refund. The store manager informed me that she was able to do the process on partially of my funds because not the manager for the store on Airline hwy and once the manager returns they will process the refund . We still have not heard anything back from anyone from the store and have not received the remaining of my refund. This is unethical and disrespectful to me. All I want is my money back

This review is for the store. Not the product! After you decide on what items you plan to purchase, please go to their website and compare prices. I ordered two power reclining sofas and one power recliner in store. The total came to $7500 with delivery and setup plus 5 year warranty. I financed through Ashley. After I got home, I decided to make sure that is really what I wanted and went online to view other items. Plus I felt I was paying too much. Shout out to the salesman Cory. He definitely got me. That's when I found out I spent $2500 more than I would have if I had ordered online for the exact same items including the delivery setup and warranty. I feel the salesman could/should have told me there is a price difference. I immediately called and canceled my store order and bought it online. If you have the cash or credit, please shop online. I plan to pay this off in 2 to 3 months so it was a better option for me to buy it on credit card. Ashley, please tell your salesmen/women to inform customers of their options!

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY, My experience with this store has been terrible. We bought some furniture pieces and they told us they would be available in 2 months. We were ok with that. When they were available for pickup, we went there only to find out that they were NOT in the warehouse. They offered free delivery, and two weeks later, they delivered BROKEN furniture. I had to call for an exchange, finally got them to schedule it after two more weeks. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP, even after asking to confirm the delivery about 5 times. I called and they said "oh it seems they were on their way but they realized they forgot one piece". Now, they're saying I have to wait 12 TO 14 WEEKS, to replace my broken pieces. I said I wouldn't wait that long and that I want a refund: THIS STORE HAS A NO REFUND POLICY, so we are stuck with it. Complete waste of time and energy, and what is even more frustrating is that if I had known that they had a no refund policy, I would have never bought from them. They do not tell you this before buying, you just find out once you have a problem. I wish I had a -5 star button. Do not waste your time and buy from somewhere else.
I understand deliveries are months behind due to covid, but after waiting months for our living room set. We were informed that the love seat that we order in July is no longer available. It was deleted from our order without our consent or knowledge. We then finds out that it is no longer available after the sales associates try to reorder it.

At first I was very pleased with my experience here however after waiting on my order for a month, I was then told over half of my order wasn’t available and that I would need to cancel those items. Since they sold me items they shouldn’t have sold me, I asked them to price match on other items they did have which I find reason (if you get a similar item). They did not and they expected me to pay a higher price when they already messed up my order to begin with. After I canceled the large half of my order, it’s finally time to have my sofa delivered. I’ve tried confirming the delivery date of my order a dozen times and I keep getting notification to confirm the delivery time. I tried calling the 1-800 number but no one is answer and it’s just disconnecting. All I can say is I should have listen to my friends and family to avoid this place.
We bought a 40x60 wall art piece today called Glass Shower 2. It was on sale 25% off and we had the nicest saleslady named Monique L. She was very friendly and helpful and took very good care of us !!

To say the least my original order was cancelled within the store without them reaching out to me and letting me know. The store messed up on the paperwork and I would of never known my furniture wasn't being delivered if I didn't call, the store never called and they can't tell me why they didn't and nor can the 1-800 #. I redid the order for them to charge me more saying everything was the exact same when it wasn't. The customer service told me they were giving me a discount for the confusion to find out I didn't get compensated for anything, not even the delivery fee. Here we are now with them delivering the sofa with missing pieces. They already received the funds and are washing their hands with me and my concerns. I repeat do not ever go to them for any business, it is the most unprofessional set of individuals and I refuse to buy even a rug from these guys. They have good quality of furniture but the worse at doing anything right for the customer. I wish I was able to give no stars.

Ashley Furniture has lost their glitter. I understood deliveries are months behind due to covid, but after waiting months for my young sons' loft bed for it to be delivered and the poor gentleman not able to put it together due to it missing hinges and screws. Thank God for great delivery team that care Custumer service for me and boxed everything up. *** Customer service dropped the ball*** They never ordered the replacement parts, placed me back on the list for repairs, or even followed up. Friday 10/28, I contacted them numerous times. Today 11/2, I contacted them numerous times from bots, agents ending the call after 12min wait times, and finally the chat with us text. The agent Adrianna stated she took care of everything and then it should be resolved by 11/8. We will see, since this is the same lie the last agent told me and the delivery tech on the day of delivery when the issue was first realized. It's sad that Ashley allowed this to fall through the cracks, especially involving children's furniture! Go to other stores if you can, Ashley is not the same!
We went in to “look”…and ended up with a living room suit and a new Tempur-Pedicure bed with base. The staff was extremely helpful, especially our salesperson Shonda, and manager, Stephanie. Even with the computer systems going down, getting the financing pushed through, and recommending somewhere to eat while we waited, it was one of the best furniture buying experiences I’ve had. I can’t wait to have my new furniture arrive, and hope to get many years of use out of it.
Ursula!!! She was the BEST furniture consultant. She made the entire experience smooth and easy. Ursula was kind and patient. She made great recommendations for our style but wasn’t over stepping boundaries or pushy like most sales people. She was truly a gem for our furniture shopping experience.

My girlfriend and I went in to check out couches and Micah was great. He knew about every set we walked by; the features, color options, and delivery times. He didn’t pressure us to buy, just informed us of our options. We left to go see a few other couches at different stores, and quickly decided to come back here. The other salespeople were pushy, and didn’t even ask about our needs. We will definitely purchase from Micah at Ashley again.

I have only had positive experiences with Ashley’s Furniture. In the store, I am met with kindness and professionalism. I am treated with patience, commitment and efficient service. My online purchasing experience has been quite easy and I have always received my purchases in a timely manner. I have even received prior to my expectation. Who doesn’t love getting a beautiful piece of furniture earlier than thought? Recently, I made 2 large purchases over the phone and as always, Shonda M., Sales Associate, who has assisted me numerous times with my purchases, again made my purchase one of ease, simplicity and satisfaction. A few months ago I ordered the upholstered bed & when it was in they gave me the WRONG pieces for it , it took about 2 months for them to exchange everything.... no one knew what was going on and acted soo confused ! so 2-3 weeks ago I ordered a dresser chest thinking everything would be fine and I got a call saying that it was ready for pick up which it WASN'T, everyone is giving me different dates on when it would be in. So with that mistake the GONZALES store tried to sell me the same item on the floor and it was scratched and not suitable enough so i declined the offer. From the beginning they told me it was going to be ready oct. 2 then oct . 16 , they very next day & NOW its Oct . 22 ! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN ! & I made this clear when it came about the second time. None of them care they blow everything OFF & didn't even do nothing to atleast TRY to be sympathetic! When it actually does come in they will hear from me again. Other around me saying they had a bad experience with Ashley Furniture too , but idk their situation but for me it was unprofessional & VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ! NEVER AGAIN
The absolute worst experience I have ever had over some furniture. They delivered me broken furniture and with missing pieces and have the audacity to still try and charge me because of THEIR poor documentation and THEIR MISTAKE. Do not waste your time or your money at this establishment. You are better off ordering something from Amazon where it will at least get to you in a decent timeframe as opposed to several months down the road.

I recently moved from California to Baton Rouge Louisiana I came to Ashley furniture home store back in July in Baton Rouge. I ordered a bed, mattress and box spring I also purchased two kids beds, kitchen dining set and sectional couch. My box spring and mattress was scheduled to be delivered today and when it arrived it was the wrong item I was extremely frustrated I’ve been sleeping on the floor I had nothing due to moving out of state so I then went into the Ashley store in Baton Rouge in tears explaining what happened and Amy Miller and CiCi Scvoy was extremely helpful they sit me down got me something to drink calmed me down and insured me that they will take care of me and they did just that and more they was able to switch out my mattress for a better one and also was able to schedule it for pickup the next day. Amy and CiCi has went above and beyond for me and my day so much better and I could not let their great custom service go unnoticed I will HIGHLY recommend this specific store to anyone in the Baton Rouge area definitely the best customer service I’ve experienced since I moved to Louisiana. I would also like to recognize the store manager miss Stephanie she was awesome very friendly and made sure everything was fine I will definitely return to purchase more items.

Where do I start? The absolute worst decision I could have made was to purchase furniture from this company. We paid (in full) over $20,000 in March of this year, and I am still waiting for my order to arrive. I am so disappointed. If only they'd been honest about estimated delivery, I would have decided whether or not to wait for my entire order to arrive. I would never purchase from Ashley Furniture again.
Will absolutely not recommend to anyone. Whoever they use as their dispatching company is absolutely terrible when it comes to getting your furniture delivered to your home. I purchased bedrooms items on July 20th and the estimated time of arrival was the first week of august. Contacted our sales rep, delivery items were delayed. The next scheduled delivery was on 9/9, the team completely skipped us which resulted in waiting 2 weeks for the next delivery. Spoke to a manager at Ashley’s furniture to move all of our items to the 25th of September. I then called the dispatch customer service rep just to verify that all of our items are in, she told me that they are but was not attached to the 9/25 delivery. Therefore my items will be split into 2 shipments. September 25th,2021 I was expecting a dresser, adjustable base (that comes with legs) and a mattress. I am currently missing a whole mattress and legs that go to the adjustable Base. After I told them that they said all my items were in the warehouse yesterday, the delivery team informed me that they ordered the wrong size mattress and that they would have to reorder which is EXTENDING THE DELIVERY EVEN MORE. We have bought furniture from Rooms to Go around the same time as well and the furniture pieces arrived exactly a week later with no issues or delays and at the time frame they told us it’ll be delivered. So if you’re looking for furniture, I highly recommend to shop at RTG.

My shopping and sales experience were great. However whenever it comes to delivery and communication the service was awful. I’ve been waiting 3 months for a bed, set up for delivery multiple times, only for no one to show up or notify me of cancellation. When I called customer service, they were not helpful and brushed off my concerns. I had such high expectations for this company but have been thoroughly disappointed. I would not recommend doing busy at this store.

I would not recommend Ashely Furniture to anyone. Although the shopping experience was good, the customer service after has been the worst. It is understandable that there may be delays, but Ashely has repeatedly lied about committed dates for delivery for 3 months. This includes the text on morning of delivery that stated that the delivery is on its way, only to be told when I contacted customer service that it was not even scheduled for that date. The store manager shared my frustration, attempted to help, was unable. Cancelled order. (Thankfully without cancellation fee- that was something the store manager was able to make happen) You can buy Ashley products elsewhere if you like- other stores carry them and you might actually get them delivered.

Very disappointed. I didn’t realize how the salesperson failed to mention the actual price of the sofa. At the time we went shopping for furniture there was a sale for an additional 25 Percent off. While shopping I asked how much is this sofa. The price that should have been quoted was the price of the sofa and not the 25 percent off price. When I got home and looked at my receipt i purchased an 1800 sofa and I thought I was purchasing a sofa for 1300 with an additional 25 percent off. What a scam. And the sales floor manager comes over to speak with me when she find out I was paying cash. She seemed rushed and did not really take the time to answer any of my questions. Never ever again will I shop there.
Bought a beauty of an "office couch" price was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the MANY other stores we went to. Our associate Nick was very helpful and helped us load it up. Always a great shopping experience with quality furniture!!!!
It is absolutely ridiculous to wait months to receive my order. We ordered in March and still have not received our sofa and loveseat. Of course you don't get any answers other than it's not in their distribution center yet. Are there any orders being filled? If you delivered someone order today when did they order so I can have an idea how backed up you are.
We bought a bed frame in June and it took two months to get delivered. That I understand. But the delivery guys came in my home with an under shirt on and no mask. That’s not something I was expecting. But to top it off the bed frame is broken. We went in the room to get measurements so we could get the box spring purchased and that’s when we found it. It’s where the rail hook would normally drop into the slit. I have sent a message to my sales person and have not had a response back. This was my second time buying with Ashley furniture and sad to say the first one wasn’t the best but since they opened a new store I thought I would give them another try! BIG MISTAKE. I don’t recommend them for any furniture. I rate them zero. No one has tried to reach out to me.

When I purchased my furniture from here, I purchased a 5 year protection plan telling me that if anything happens to the furniture it would be fixed or replaced. I've had my sectional for a year, which gives me 4 more years on this furniture. One of my recliners broke at the bottom where it extended and its not allowing it extend fully, I called to file a claim, and was told that this one part of the sectional isn't covered!!! Then they go on to tell me that it's a different coverage plan to get it fixed. Had I been told this at the time of my purchase I would have purchased any and everything needed to keep my furniture up, but unfortunately I wasn't. I called Ashley furniture, and I haven't received any feedback or anything. I think it's completely unfair on my part the haven't 1 year and have paid for a protection plan, and can't get my furniture fixed! I will never purchase from Ashley furniture again...and wouldn't refer this place to anyone!

Sales associate and manager were great when we ordered… then things went downhill. The week after I ordered, the sales associate sent me a text (on May 3rd) saying we were still 4 weeks out on one of the bedroom sets. No problem - I was originally told 2-3 weeks, but I’m a reasonable person and 4 weeks is fine. Two weeks later, he told me 2-3 weeks. Then I was told it was a bed holding up the order, then a box spring, but was assured it would be delivered in June. On June 23rd, I told him if I couldn’t get the furniture in 2 weeks, I would need to cancel. He then was able to schedule everything and told me it would all be delivered on July 15th. I proceeded to take the day off on the 15th and had my children’s bedroom furniture picked up on the 14th to be ready. I got a call on the 14th to schedule the delivery for the 21st. I called my sales rep to ask what was going on and he referred me to his manager. I called 3 times and 5 hours went by before I was able to get a hold of her. I sent her the texts confirming the 15th delivery with the sales associate and She told me she put in an ER ticket. When I hadn’t heard anything back the next day, I called customer service and was told they were taking $150 off the order (totally irrelevant- that does nothing here) and that everything except the box spring was now scheduled for delivery on the 21st and that I could talk to the local store about substituting a box spring that is in stock. I said ok and texted the manager who said she would get back with me whenever the ‘sleep expert’ came in the next day. I never heard back from her. Fast forward to today, I get a call from scheduling to say that my delivery is scheduled for the 22nd, and it shows only half of my order. I just spent 30 minutes plus on the phone with customer service to be told that they’re going to put in another ticket to figure it out. Meanwhile, my kids are sleeping on the floor because I gave their beds away on the 14th in anticipation of the delivery on the 15th. Right now I have some super disappointed kids and I am irate that they think this is acceptable. I would not recommend Ashley furniture to anyone right now.
Edit: Though our experience in the store was great, our experience with delivery, the product & customer service was not. Our furniture was delivered almost 6 months late past the initial delivery window estimate. Every time we called for an update on delivery timing or where our product was, I was given bad information. Then within 2 months of having our new furniture one of our main pieces broke. Took over 1 month to get adequate replacement parts sent to us. Will not be buying any furniture from this store again. Had a great experience at the Ashley’s in Baton Rouge ordering my items, sales person was very personable, knowledgeable and was able to help us with selecting the right items to meet our budget and personal style. Looking forward to receiving my items soon!
Came in to the store just to check out in person a bed my wife and I saw online. We saw the bed and then were helped by a very nice and helpful gentleman. He took us step by step in choosing the right mattress for the bed we chose and pillows and everything came together smoothly. Very pleased with the experience and hope to come back soon to shop for more items for our home!

Prices are much higher in store than online. When I asked for a price match, as guaranteed online, I never received a callback from the manager who organized my in store sale. I will never buy from them in store again. Quite frankly, I will never buy from them online either. Their customer service online said they couldn’t price match their own prices. Pretty sad. Further, I just received my order and it’s the wrong color.
I purchased 2 reclining sofas from Ashley Home Store in Baton Rouge, LA. One of the sofas I received is extremely hard and causes me back and neck aches. On the day of purchase I returned to the store and asked to speak to the manager. I was told the manager was too busy. Finally an assistant manager came out and said no returns or exchanges. When I purchased the sofas, I never saw anything in the store that said returns or exchanges were not allowed. The sales people never said this is a final sale. I find this very misleading. If I had purchased from the Ashley website instead of the store, I would have 72 hours to notify them that I was unhappy. Why is a sale in the store final sale but the website is not? This store has terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and purchase furniture off the internet. The internet stores allow returns and have cheaper prices. The sales people even told me I would have been better off buying off the internet. I have contacted DSG to let them know the sofas have broken pins and brackets. DSG has responded multiple times saying they will send a service technician, but they never do.
The sales associate made a most professional and personal shopping experience most enjoyable.. She is very knowledgeable about store inventory, policies and procedures and great customer service.
The customer service is excellent! Dwight and Nick are Superstars. Every associate in the HomeStore warmly greeted us in passing as we worked with Dwight and Nick. PLUS, we were able to find everything we needed at a price we could afford. I can't recommend them enough. I'm waiting to see what delivery is like before I give five stars, but I expect it will be just as wonderful as the shopping experience.

If anyone is looking for furniture, I strongly recommend never going to Ashley Furniture. We ordered a couch in DECEMBER with an expected delivery date of March (which already sucked to begin with) but we waited it out. March came with absolutely NO communication on the status of our order. I called to check on the order to be told that it was now going to be arriving in early June. I was not happy but really didn’t want to start the process over again. The beginning of June rolled around with again, no communication. We called to see when it would be delivered and it was pushed back to July. I’ve now called every week to see when it is being delivered since we can never get a straight answer from them — my husband would get one date and I would get another from them, so no consistency at all. I called last week and was told the couch would finally be delivered around the end of June. I told my husband to call today to see what date so we could sell our current couch, and was told that now the delivery date is the end of September. We paid in full, up front at the store for this sectional. We’ve had NO communication except for when we call to check on the status of everything. They offered to wave our delivery fee at this point. What a joke of a store. Save yourself a lot of headache and stay away from this place.

I went to Ashley furniture to look for a couch and the staff was incredibly courteous. I looked at the same item also at another furniture store however Ashley furniture was the best priced and their cost of delivery and set up was much cheaper as well.

As always my shopping experience today, 5/29/2021, was one of enjoyment, delight, fulfillment. I was quite pleased with the professionalism, patience and dedication to customer satisfaction by the store associates. I was greeted at the door with kindness by Dwight and assisted by Shonda throughout my visit with patience, diligence, and an array of knowledge for all the questions that were asked. I am looking forward to the arrival of my chosen home furniture as I am certain that we will take joy in having the added pieces in our home. The salesperson Amy Miller was very professional and helpful in all aspects. She was one of the most knowledgeable salesperson that I had ran across concerning the tempurpedic mattress. I would recommend all customers to ask for her when they visit the store. All other salesman seems to be very pleasant as well. My visit was very enjoyable. Customer service is a painful joke at this store. If you need to talk to anyone there about your delivery or your order be prepared to wait 30+ min and be hung up on when someone finally picks up the phone. Don't waste your money here, The DGF attitude is rampant. There sales staff were nice and helpful when I originally purchased. But I'm extremely annoyed and without the items I paid for 3 months later.

We had a great experience. The sales people were very nice and didn’t use aggressive sales tactics. They let us look by ourselves and waited to help when we were ready. Cici was our salesperson and she was great. Very helpful and she also kept our son entertained. Highly recommend!

my name is Barbara Fuller , and when i first got introduced to Ashley’s furniture it was by someone I work with , she was telling me how beautiful her furniture is and she was able to finance, and the terms and payments was so great she was glad to tell about her experience, first i got my couch and i had a discount flyer plus it was a president day sale, and i was so amazed when they told me my price for my couch when they took off the extra percent, now i am back there agian buying furniture and i even got a better deal, and the financing company they use is Awesome. All my need were met, and the sales Techs and so very nice, and when u have a company with good customer service, and ready to assist you, that alone is enough to make u want to do business, with this company.. After visiting several local furniture stores in the Baton Rouge, LA., area it immediately became clear that there existed a shortage on getting furniture delivered in a timely manner due to the pandemic. I had been to Ashley Furniture several times in one week because I had seen a dinning set I really wanted badly. My initial visit didn't go very well due to personnel being extremely busy and overlooking my needs. I kept returning because I wanted that dinning table set. Each time I would leave frustrated, because no one had time to take care of my needs. Finally on my final and fifth visit I was leaving the store totally exasperated, when a saleswoman noticed my frustration and stopped me and asked me what was the matter and how could she help me. I explained all my difficulties and frustration. I showed her the piece of furniture I wanted, she contacted her supervisor and together they set me down, apologize and assured me that they could make sure I got the dinning table set I wanted. We successfully completed the necessary paperwork, and I left a very satisfied customer. The Saleswomen called me several times afterwards to assure me that all was going well and when to expect my shipment. I've since received the table and awaiting on the bar chairs. I went to the competitor first and walked around the entire store without anyone asking me of they could help. I then drove to Ashley and the minute I walked in the store the salesman Tarek, asked me if he could show me anything in particular. I came in to only purchase 2 barstools and ended up with a dinette set and 3 barstools. I generally don't purchase the extra warranty but the way the salesman presented it I felt it was a must have. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

We visited the new Ashley HomeStore for the first time in Baton Rouge and the store and folks that work there were incredible. We loved the furniture and got exactly what we were looking for in less than an hour. As a guy writing this, I say great job. Quick and easy
They were short staffed, however very effective. I waited a while, but they checked in with me and let me know they would be right with me. Excellent customer service and amazing patience, to say that they were spread so thin.
Shawanda Buchanan was great!!! She made our process so easy! We were able to not only save money, but also furnish our whole apartment! She’s definitely a blessing in disguise. So grateful for the experience!

Everyone was nice. In hindsight, I wonder whether or not they knew how bad the experience would be. After my experience, I rechecked the reviews and realized the people with 5 stars were only speaking about the customer service, not delivery. The 1 star reviews had the same problem I had: no furniture was ever delivered. Let me go back. In February 2021, I ordered a bed and mattress. Thankfully I opted to get the 0% financing or I would be trying to get my money back too. I opted to schedule delivery the first Friday in March. I received countless positive notifications prior to the day. However, I got a call the day of the proposed delivery informing me the storage facility suffered damage, which subsequently damaged my furniture. They asked whether or not I wanted the mattress only. I declined. They said they would let me know when the furniture was ready again. Next they started sending notifications about a new delivery date on the 17th of March. I called them and informed them I work that day and was never offered an option of dates to choose. Once again, the employee was nice and said she would handle it. She didn't. I kept receiving notifications and had to call two more times before they got it rescheduled to the 19th. On the 19th, I was informed the furniture was damaged again. Notice a pattern? Same board damaged. This time, no mention of a storage facility though. They said they would inform me when the furniture was ready but I could get the mattress now. Nope. Not accepting it. On the 20th of March 2021, I called the store to cancel my order. Spoke to Mario. Mario could not find my order via my phone number. I gave Mario the order number. He still couldn't find it and requested my email address. I declined and requested to speak to someone else. Mario asked, "Who would I like to speak to?" I said, " Anyone who can find my order and help me." Mario informed me he was trying to help me. With all of the notification texts and calls I have received, I could not believe a proficient navigation of their system would yield no order results. I insisted on speaking to someone else. Mario informed me he could not transfer the call and I would have to call back. I told Mario I would come to the store. On March 22nd of 2021, I went to the store and informed the desk to cancel my order. The new employee found it easily and-after asking me what he could do to save the order and me replying, "Absolutely nothing "-canceled it. They are nice, eager, and knowledgeable about their products. However, they have a very real problem within their delivery department. I am convinced they are all aware of the problem and are actively delaying the inevitable disappointment of getting their furniture orders delivered while trying to get those mattresses sold ASAP. Apparently they have plenty of available mattresses. Also, their notification system chose a date for me without an inquiry at all. Something is really, really wrong with that. That should never happen. And it took several calls to fix. I have no idea whether or not there are consequences to getting a delivery I did not request arrive to my house without me present, but I do not want to discover whether or not there is one either. Sorry so long. I have too much time on my hands today.
Had the pleasure of working with Shawanda Buchanan. She helped us find the PERFECT mattress, my husband and I both have bad backs and it works for both of us! She was very polite, wasn't pushy, and wasn't trying to force anything on us like most places. Thank you again.! ***UPDATE*** Although my service was good.... the after service is horrible. I have been waiting on my matress for over a month.!! The delivery date was changed without notice 3 times. I had to call each time to see where it was for them to tell me, and when I request the order to be canceled and refunded they continue to act like I didn't call and request it currently been waiting 3 weeks for a refund. NEVER GET DELIVERY FROM THIS LOCATION
I went to Ashley Home Store because I know that they have quality products. I was shopping for a new mattress and box springs. I was fortunate enough to be placed in the hand of the capable hands of my “mattress expert, Amy. She guided me from what I thought I wanted to what needed and what’s best for me. She was very kind and patient but most of all she was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business and with her.

I walked in not too sure of what I was buying. Susie immediately greeted me at the front entrance with a very friendly and helpful attitude. I wa s looking for a big couch and some bedroom furniture. She pointed me in the room Ight direction and gave me a lot to pick from. The whole process did take several hours, I was not mad or impatient I was undertaker bc there was a lot going on. She was very outgoing and friendly and made the whole process very pleasant. Most of all she helped me pick the perfect furniture for my house. Would highly recommend anyone to go here.
Went in looking for a motorized reclining sofa. Found a great one at a fair price. Our salesperson was kind and knowledgeable, not pushy or trying to chase a commission. Would recommend to anyone searching for furniture.
Quite possibly the worst customer service of any store that I have experienced in my life. I go to the store and they tell me to go online and contact someone to file a warranty claim. Go online, and they tell me I must go in-store and get the claim number. Nobody in the store has any clue what to do. I have a $2,000 sectional that is worthless broken. Should have went to Rooms To Go.

I had a good experience here. Large selection and helpful staff. Only complaint is they wouldn't honor one of my Ashely coupons and the sale they were running had stipulations that were not included in any of the advertisements.

After reading the reviews and comments I will contact the news or “Action Jackson” about this since they wont answer the phones or emails, and when you do speak to someone its incorrect/misleading info. Maybe the publicity could get us paying customers answers. This is horrible. Me and my Wife have had the worst experience with Ashley Furniture. We ordered furniture in December. We knew it would be a while until delivery due to Covid and that was fine. We have received a text securing delivery dates and delivery times on March 2,3,4, 6,10, that have all been canceled the day of. Long story short we have been given the run around and FALSE guidance/information. My wife has called, emailed, was told a supervisor would call back, no call.
I’m not one to complain, but this has by far been the worst experience for me. We ordered furniture in November. We knew it would be a while until delivery due to Covid and that was fine. We were then told February 9, no furniture. Then we were told our furniture would be at distribution center (Gonzales) on Feb 23. I was instructed to call if I hadn’t heard from anyone. I called and was told my 2 pieces were not scheduled to be ready until the 25 and delivery Feb 27. No Furniture. Called for update, was told furniture was at distribution site. We have received a text securing delivery dates on March 2,3,4,6. I called earlier today and automated message stated delivery was set for 3/6. My husband called to verify after recovering another text with different date and we were told that our wedge was not scheduled to be ready until March 23. Long story short we have been given the run around and FALSE guidance/information and I’m disappointed. I asked to speak with a supervisor on numerous occasions and have yet to speak with one. I’m unsure what to do now.
BUYER BEWARE! I was warned, I heard complaints as I shopped that furniture was promised and 7 months later no furniture. As I expressed my concern my salesperson assured me that it was because those customers were addressing their issues through the call center and not through her. I reluctantly ordered with a specific must have timeframe. As the days grew closer I waited with anticipation for my new living room to arrive. I went in the store , I was told the phones don’t work so don’t call, and I was told everything was on time except my chair, which was fine. I went in yesterday to confirm once again the Tuesday delivery..... you guessed it, furniture is delayed until April! DO NOT TRUST THE STORE OR THE SALESPEOPLE, THEY LIE! I was told my items were in stock, turns out they weren’t even made yet. Nothing but lies. Thanks Ashley for the bind I’m in , as I have 4 days to get furniture for the shower on Saturday. I will never be back to this store!
I had a wonderful experience today at Ashley Home Store. My salesperson Ms. Cilicia "Ci Ci" Savoy was very nice and patient. I ' ve experienced such a salesperson with so much information about the products she presented. She was very knowledgeable about all the mattresses she presented today. I so thankful she approached me today. All I can say if your company is giving outstanding awards she truly deserves one.
My wife and I have been browsing local furniture stores for a while without ever finding anything we liked. Finally, we found the perfect dining room table and bedroom set. Nick was extremely helpful and got us the best deals when we saw a huge discrepancy with the online price and showroom price. We would recommend Ashley HomeStore and Nick to anyone in the market for new furniture.
Ashley Homestore made the furniture buying experience, which can be very stressful, so fun and easy! And the financing allowed us to buy exactly what we wanted! Definitely my go-to place for quality furniture.

Well my daughter and I went there Saturday just to look around and makayla greeted us at the door she asked if we needed anything and we said we was just looking and she was like just let me know if you need anything or if I can assist with anything, she wasn’t pushing and hungry for a sale, she gave us our space and when we was ready for her, she was there to assist.
I originally went in the store just browse, and take pictures of things I liked for my new home. But, a sales associate, Shawanda, came just to check on me, and she was amazed by my twins and their personalities. She asked what I was looking for and I told her, she somehow knew my style right away, and started showing me sets that fit my personality. She showed me a dining room set that was perfect not just for me, but mostly for my daughters. She also, showed me a living room set that I fell in love with immediately. She also showed me all the different ways I could decorate and the different pillows that would go great with the living room set. I was automatically sold, and ended purchasing both the living and dining room set. Shawanda was very passionate about her job, and I will tell everyone I know to ask for her. She is amazing. I will definitely be going to Ashley’s again for all my furniture needs

If I could give this store a 0, I would. My husband and I bought couches on January 15th. We were told they would be in on the 4th of February. The week before they were supposed to delivered, we called to make sure that time and date were correct, and they said yes. The DAY BEFORE the couches were supposed to be delivered, we called AGAIN to see if they had a time. They told us it would not be the 4th, it would be the 11th. Ok, that’s irritating but we can wait a week. The 10th rolls around and we call AGAIN to check. Customer service tells us that they were never scheduled for Saturday, and that the earliest we would see them is Thursday the 18th. This is very frustrating because my husband and I both work, so it’s very hard to shift around our schedule when they change the date so often. At this point, we have also received NO phone calls from them and no emails to update us. Their communication skills are extremely lacking. I am never going to use this business again.

The employees there are very nice. The gentleman (Paul) we worked with was helpful and informative.He really took his time and gave us the best services he could given the circumstances. However, the low rating is for operations and corporate. I purchased one furniture piece in at the beginning of December. I was informed it would be delivered on the 12th of December. The afternoon for the day of the delivery, I received 2 automated calls. One stating I would receive my delivery but another stating I will receive he remaining pieces on the 15th. So I selected the option to get transferred to a spokesperson and I inquired about the separate delivery dates. I was told all of the parts wasn't available. So I asked why, wasn't I informed ahead of time and the person told me that I need to enroll in updates by email and text. So I enrolled in it and I let it be. I received the base of my entertainment center that night and the one pier that was available was damaged upon arrival. So I refused it and was informed it would get replaced. Well, the 15th came no delivery. Called corporate multiple times that day to try to get through. Finally spoke to someone, received an apology. The 16th was set as another delivery date but no delivery. Called and was told it was for my warranty. I asked for s supervisor to call me. Was informed I would get a all back within 24 hrs. 24hrs came and no call. Called again, left a message requesting for a call back. No call back received. Then, I received notification my delivery would come on the 22nd. No delivery. Called corporate again and requested for a supervisor. No call back. Then was told I would get my delivery on the 29th for 5:45pm-8:45pm. Received a call from the driver at 9 pm stating he was on the way but he noticed the toolkit to attached the bridge was missing and he would have to return back to the warehouse. So he wouldn't be able to deliver it. I asked if it would be delivered the next morning, he told me yes. Welp, that was a lie! Didn't hear back from anyone. Called corporate again told them what happened and requested a call back from a supervisor. No call back. Finally, another date was set for 1/5/21. We received the remainder of the entertainment center but get this, no toolkit was needed to put the bridge on. The delivery driver lied to me so that he wouldn't have to deliver to me and delayed me from getting my items. Then to add to it, the pegs that's used to place the shelves up so that you place your pictures up. Well, we were missing a pack of pegs. Asked the delivery driver, he said to contact the store or corporate. So here we are again, can't even enjoy our entertainment center because we can't finish placing our shelves up. I called corporate and complained and asked for a supervisor. No call back! A order was placed for additional pegs. I called the sales associate that assisted me and spoke to his manager to tell them about my experience. They apologized and an urgent ticket was placed requesting for a supervisor to call me. Days past, no call. A called corporate again to check the status of the delivery for the pegs and was given a tracking number on Jan. 18th but it was in transit. He also placed a message for someone to call me and again no call. On yesterday, 1/20/21, we received one peg! One peg. What shelf can we put up with one peg? So called corporate again and supposedly was connected with a supervisor in the call center. He couldn't even help but just apologize and order a pack of pegs. I was informed I would get a call and no call today. I am so frustrated at the way they treat their customers. This is poor customer service. There is no way in the world, a customer should have to call numerous of times and don't receive a call back. It is truly insulting and really have me considering returning my entertainment center back. This is ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with Ashley. I bought a dark brown coffee table from them. After less than a month the color of some parts of changed from brown to WHITE. I called Ashley in Airline Hwy twice. Once a nice person told me that somebody will call you in few days to come to your house to decide on either replacing or repairing it. But I did not received any call. The second time that I called, a woman from Ashley spoke to me rude and told me you should not expect us to have after sales. Then she hanged up in the middle of the talk. What is the reason for not having aftersales support when the quality of your product is too low and the prices are high? Also I bought a sofa from there, the middle seat is like a hole. I am not satisfied with Ashley and won't buy anything from there anymore.

I walked in looking for a kitchen island with ideas in my head. I was greeted by Daphne Washington that meet all of my expectations plus more. Daphne was so honest from the beginning that her honesty was the determining factor that made up mind to purchase a kitchen cart. The finance manager was also helpful as well. My overall experience this evening was over the top because all the ladies work well with each other to get the job done!!!! I'll be back in the near future.

17 years of purchases and referrals and I will never return. Ordered first of September, was told would arrive and I would be contacted mid-October. First of December I'm finally sent an email saying it's ready. I call to arrange delivery and arrange a day off to meet them during my assigned delivery window with the address of my storage unit. I never got a call with the "window" of time. I call to ask when to expect delivery. They said it was never scheduled. I schedule it again. I get an automated call to confirm delivery date and address. IT WAS WRONG. I call again, fix it (again) with the current service representative and asked to speak to a supervisor. I waited on hold 31 minutes to speak with a supervisor, who hung up before we spoke a word to each other. I call again and ask for a supervisor who acted like this was a drive-through fast food order and confirmed the details were correct. No apology, just said he can't speak to previous conversations or what happened, but that it's correct in his system. I said I have been completely jerked around, and not one person has offered an apology. This supposed "supervisor" said absolutely nothing on the other end of the phone. I said that pretty much sums up our entire recent experience, total silence. When I called my sales rep AT THE STORE, she said she couldn't recall the order out of her hundreds of customer and she could pass me to the call center - no offer to personally help me fix it. I will gladly spend my hard earned money and offer my referrals to a place that offers any kind of decency in customer service. What I do know, is this is NOT it.

Never ever buy from ashley. 100's of complaints around the country just like mine. Ordered furniture on 09/05 paid $5100 in full in cash. Still no delivery. Some items promised in December now. And a sofa and love seat we are waiting on has been rescheduled for delivery now 4 times. They are selling items to customers they don't have access to or that flat out dont exist. Customers are threatened with cancelation fees and if you do cancel it may be months before you actually see your refund. They cant keep sales staff due to these issues. Consider yourself warned. To the manager who replied. My name is clearly stated in this review. The fact that you have sooooooooo many customers who's orders were delayed for months that you don't recall me coming into the store on multiple occasions speaks volumes to any potential customers on whether or not they will recieve the items which they purchased any time between now and 2022. Josie didn't want to talk to me and offered a partial refund (claiming is was full refund) today. We have never receive the merchandise in which we ordered and that was Ashley's plan all along. I have disputed the purchase with my cc company and expect after a thorough investigation that I will recieve my money back in full because ashley is guilty of no less than breach of contract. But don't believe me. A simple Google search or Facebook forum search will turn up so many similar stories. My only hope is that I can save someone the aggravation and stress we have endured. Todd and Ron wanek obviously make millions ripping people off.
I ordered furniture on August 28th 2020 and I am still waiting for half of it to get to me. I just found out today that they never ordered it properly. If you are looking for furniture I would go to another store if you want it anytime in the next 6 months.

I went to must furniture stores around town and the quality does not compare. Even my experience with my sales person was great, it felt like I was being helped by a friend which made my purchase such a great experience!
My experience was terrifying & unacceptable. I demanded a refund today! My product was supposed to be at the warehouse on 12/8/20 I called to confirm and was told my sofa wouldn’t arrive until March 2021. What the HELL? No one communicated anything with me yet takes the money! I went to another furniture store and got what I needed in one day! I was excited about the product from Ashley because it was exactly what I wanted. The company is a disappointment. Wouldn’t recommend you order from them.
Cody was an excellent customer service representative. He greeted upon entry to the door and helped tremendously with picking the perfect couch and mattress for my home. Very nice and patient.
This has been a horrible experience. We ordered a bedroom set and mattress in October, didn’t receive but a partial order after 4 delivery dates set up and missed by Ashley. They delivered a headboard, footboard with no rails, half of a king box spring, and no mattress. I tripped over the incomplete bedroom set they left in my bedroom (see pics, footboard was left where it “should be” and we have since moved it) in the middle of the night and still can’t get a definitive answer on furniture delivery. I even asked for the display rails so I could get my bed set up and was told then they wouldn’t be able to show the bed (that they can’t ship) on their floor. Sales team was nice with no problem executing a sale, but Ashley CAN NOT deliver or communicate. They blamed Covid, but Covid isn’t responsible for poor communication and incomplete deliveries (the parts should have never been sent until it was complete). Read the Yelp reviews...I wish I would have!
I bought a cocktail table on11/01/20. I was told at that time that the latest delivery date would be 12/01/20. I reached out to salesperson and delivery dept. Never got a straight answer. No one ever initiated communication about my order. I went into store today to cancel order and get refund. Only to be told that this was an approximate date. Also informed me the that tentative delivery date is 01/27/21. Also my refund will take up to 14 days via usps. This whole situation is unacceptable.

I must say, I had a great experience. The salesman was very helpful and patient with me because I was very indecisive. The furniture was so beautiful and just my style. Once I decided, the purchase process was simple and easy. I am very happy with my purchase. It was exactly what I was looking for.
Amy Miller at Ashley Home Store in Baton Rouge helped my Fiancé and I through the process of buying our living room and bedroom furniture. Amy was absolutely amazing and extremely patient. She gave us time to look through all the furniture and helped us with any questions. She did NOT take advantage of us or pressure us into getting anything that we didn’t want. It was one of the only stores that was NOT trying to sell us the most expensive furniture. Ashley Home Store also had amazing deals. We will be going back there in the future.
Absolutely horrible customer service! It is impossible to get a hold of anyone. We purchased $3500 worth of furniture that was supposed to be delivered earlier this week. I have sat on hold with customer service for 3 hours. Tried the online chat and was told they did not service my state. I have also emailed the sales rep twice and never received a response back. I'll be getting my money back and taking my business elsewhere. Update: this store continues to be a complete joke. After 4 months, we finally had our furniture delivered. The dresser was broken so we asked for a replacement. The replacement came another month later, also broken. We had to go to the store to talk to someone because they don’t have a phone in the store. There is no store manager at all. Just a joke of a company.

Great at first BUT actually getting the furniture has been nothing but a hassle!!! I feel like my furniture will never be delivered and I’m being lied to. No one answers the phone. And when they finally do answer after days of calling, things still aren’t right. I’ve talked to multiple people who said my furniture was scheduled for delivery and it wasn’t... today only one piece of my sectional was brought!! It was very disappointing because I was so excited to have it in my new first home. I understand there is a pandemic but that does not make up for the extreme lack of communication and continuous lies and errors on Ashley’s part.
What a lovely experience I had visiting the Baton Rouge showroom. My salesperson Ms. Spears was very pleasant and eager to assist all of my needs! I will definitely be returning for future purchases. Thanks!
Two stars provided because the sales associates were extremely helpful. However, the delivery and phone customer service process has been a nightmare! Ordered sectional sofa early October and was told it would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. It is now week 8 and still no furniture. The delivery date has been rescheduled 4 times—each time pushed back further. Now two pieces of the furniture is apparently on back order with an expected delivery date of early January, while the middle piece is set for December. The caveat is that each time it is rescheduled, I’m never notified. Instead, I drive to the store each week since I quickly learned their unreliability— the phone is NEVER answered. In addition, one evening I received a call from a Ashley’s Furniture Delivery driver stating “We are 15 minutes away.”—this occurred during the second delivery date. After 40 minutes, no one arrived so I called them back x2. No answer, no show. The plus is after yesterday’s visit to the store for a delivery update, I was informed that I can receive a full refund without penalty. In summary, this is a lesson learned and I will never purchase a large piece of furniture from Ashley’s again nor will I recommend to others.

**UPDATE 11/21 - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I finally received my couch 3 months and 12 days after I purchased it. The only reason I stuck it out and didn't "return" it and get my money back is because it took me forever to find a couch my daughter and I could agree on. **UPDATE 11/9 - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! This company never ceases to amaze me - but always in a bad way, Turns out, the next delivery date I was given was 11/12, not 11/15 Excitement starts to build by 11/4, because it has now been about 90 days from the purchase date. On 11/6 I get an email from a "do not reply" address saying they are sorry but my item is now on a manufacturing delay and delivery needs to be rescheduled. I am given a 1-866 phone number. I call and the computer picks up with the same/similar menu that anyone that has tried to call Ashley gets. But then something new happened. I was on hold for a few mins and the call was transferred. When the line is picked up, it is a computer/automated system, but it greeted me by name! And the proceeded to tell me there are mfg delays and they would reach out to me in 2-4 weeks - and would .then give me a new delivery date. So if I continue on the ridiculous path with this company, it is going to be next year before I get my couch. This is just unreal. UPDATE:Today is 10/23 - delivery is supposed to be tomorrow. Haven't heard a peep from these people. Called cust serv - THEY CHANGED MY DATE, AGAIN, TO 11/15...AND NEVER EVEN CONTACTED ME. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I originally did a five star review Ashley HomeStore, but have since deleted it. I bought a couch on August 9. My salesperson was awesome. That was the ONLY plus of my whole experience so far. I paid for them to deliver (I think it was $135). Right after paying, another salesperson gave me the card for 1st Choice Delivery in Baton Rouge, which is usually cheaper. So they did a refund for the delivery charge, but of course it would take a week to go back in the acct. I ended up going back to them for delivery (long story), figured it wouldn't be a problem since I had not received the refund anyway - it wasn't processed properly - and received a delivery date for the following week. That day came and went. Fast forward to last Thursday (9/10). This was the 2nd date I had been given. Called customer service (because you can't call the stores anyway) and spent an hour on the phone trying to find out when I'd get my couch. I was told they had the date of 9/15 in the system and that the couch was in BR. I called 1st Choice so I could pick it up instead of waiting almost another week. They wanted verification the couch was at Airline location. Went to the store and spoke with a mgr, Jim (not very friendly or sympathetic to my problem) who looked up my acct. 1 - the couch was not in BR, nor was it even at the warehouse in Gonzales. 2 - BECAUSE THE GIRL AT CUSTOMER SERVICE PUT IN THE SYSTEM THAT I WANTED THE COUCH ASAP - IT KICKED OUT MY 9/15 DELIVERY DATE AND SET IT FOR 10/24!!! How is another 5 weeks of waiting ASAP?? I called customer service back. They made the mistake and they needed to rectify it. After spending another 1.5 hrs on the phone they tell me there is nothing anyone can do!! BS!!!! Do not buy from this company. It's just not worth the hassle.
Don’t see how a business can operate long with the customer service Ashley has. I can never recommend this place to anyone. People work too hard for their money to be takin advantage of like Ashley has done us and others I know. I’d like to speak to the owner personally.
Waited 5 months for my headboard. After multiple times visiting was finally told was discontinued. 1st time ever leaving a review just show how awful my experience was.

The only reasons I am giving a star at all is because I have to and the product is a good product. The delivery process has been laughable & anything but professional. I ordered and paid in full for a product August 16. I still have not received the entire product. I told the delivery team on the phone three different times I didn’t want to have half or just some of the product delivered. I told them I wanted it all delivered at once. They didn’t seem to understand because after the third attempt to reschedule, they just decided to reschedule me anyway. Due to an inability to reach anyone at the local or 866 number, I had no choice but to accept the delivery, not knowing what it was I would even be receiving. They delivered every piece except the chaise of my sectional. They were supposed to delivered the chaise today between 5-7pm. I relieved a call today around 11:45am stating they would not be able to deliver today because the manufacturer had not completed making the piece yet. Are you kidding me? How did they not know this before today? I called to speak with someone at the location I purchased from and could not get in touch with anyone and left a voicemail on their machine for the second time. I am doubtful my phone call will be returned. I hope I get the chaise I already paid over $400 for because my sectional isn’t complete without that piece. I will probably never purchase from them again. Customer service in store was great because of course they have to sell products but you can’t get anyone on the phone. There is not a true delivery process. Great product though. I’m sure I could find a great product and pay similar and receive sooner elsewhere

We were excited to finally be able to order a sofa and to save some money we because of the pandemic and covid, we would pick up the sofa ourselves. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We called the number they gave us and were told to come by the warehouse to pick up. Show up and they are closed and no one is there. Told to come on another day. Call to verify we should come by and we are told the sofa isn't there and come in another month! Getting ready to pick it up again and they can't find our order and apparently we have a pick up date of 2024! Clearly a disorganized business and we will never purchase anything from them again. Honestly at this point we would rather the money back and will find something else.
If I could give this store 0 stars I would. We purchased two sofas from Ashley over two months ago. We have not received our products yet. Everytime we attempt to call Ashley, nobody answers the phone. One day I called over 40 times in one day and still did not get an answer. I have never had this problem with any furniture store before. There has been no communication or response from Ashley letting us know when our furniture is coming. I will be heading to the store for the second time in a week---but this time I am going to get my money back. Do not spend your money at Ashley Furniture. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Very Frustrated!!!!!
Been online shopping for a living room set for about 3 weeks. Finally went in-store to Ashley Furniture and meet Courtney C. She was very knowledgeable about the products and was unobtrusive. My husband and I walked around, we looked, sat, and sampled several sofas. Finally decided on the set we wanted and she was right there to help. Country had all paperwork ready to go. I would recommend Ashley and Courtney C for your future furniture needs.

I enjoyed my visit at the Ashley HomeStore in Baton Rouge. From the greeter to the sales agent, excellent customer service. The greeter ask me my likes and dislikes in style and pointed me in the direction in how I needed to start my Gallery Walk. There's a big variety and everything was pleasing to the eyes and you are allowed to look with no pressure. Then, I was given to a sales person, Cody he was excellent, personal and informative. He knows and understand the quality of Ashley's merchandise. He help me fill out my application for credit, I was approved and I was able to get a nice quality chest. I would definitely visit this Ashley HomeStore again in the future.

OH MY GOD my experience at Ashley Furniture was nothing but AMAZING I meet CiCi Savoy who made my overall experience Great. I was showed a variety of mattresses and few in love with one in particular. CiCi went above and beyond to make this purchase work, she fought hard to get me the perfect price that I was comfortable with and the mattress in my home. Not only is CiCi well knowledgeable of her products she definitely knows how to make you feel like family. Not only am I happy with my purchase I will be telling everyone about CiCi at Ashley Furniture, my totally experience from beginning to end was a great. Ordered sectional and paid in full back in June. Was told could be up to a couple months but no date was set at purchase. Well 3 weeks into it we got a delivery date of September 10th well let's just say no couch showed up got a later confirmation that it would be another couple weeks well no couch through dozens of calls and several trips into the store still no couch no delivery date. Over and over different storys not sure anyone at ashley even knows whats going on. I would avoid this place.

I visited Ashley store Baton Rouge in June 12 2020 and same day i purchased furniture. My delivery was supposed to be late July and then August and September and now October and now its almost November. I have called i have emailed ,everytime someone tells me something different. I am very upset because i have been lied to so many time it is horrible, yes the furniture at Ashley is beautiful and no i dont want my Money back i just want my furniture 😢....The distribution warehouse has terrible customer service 😫...And this is not all because of COVID

Ashley Home Store has beautiful collection of sofas. Their designs are attractive. Prices too are good. We ended up buying one we liked even though it was slightly pricier.
We ordered two recliners 6 weeks ago, still haven’t received them. When you call the store no one will answer. We have tried every department option they offer..... NO ANSWER! We have called corporate and they can’t access our order because Baton Rouge is a franchise. We finally went to the store and they told us that our our order was being processed after we were told that the merchandise was in the store when we bought them. I am going back to the store and I will see a manager this time. I will NEVER do business with this place again and I suggest you do the same.
I would give them ZERO stars if I could. I placed my order on August 13, 2020 and I am still waiting on parts of my furniture today, Oct. 12. My experience with Ashley has been HORRIBLE and I am very disgusted. I will NOT ever buy anything from them ever again. I will advise other not to purchase as well. Soon after I purchased my items, I was told that they were on back order, but WHY WAS'NT I TOLD THAT FROM THE BEGINNING?! Stop selling stuff that you don't have access to!!! When I finally did receive my items, they were not even supposed to be delivered on that day. Apparently, their home office and delivery people were not on the same page because I had just rescheduled my delivery the day before, FOR THE SIXTH TIME!!!!!!!!! Thank God my fiancé was there to receive the delivery. I received a headboard and a foot board but no rails to put the bed together. So, basically I have a bed that I can't even sleep in ! Oh and don't bother calling ANY of their phone numbers because NO ONE ASNWERS any of them! The only way you can get assistance is if you go to the store. Oh and I also told the sales associate I wanted TWO night stands but when the order was finally delivered. I only got one. NOT SURPRISED. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!
This place was awesome!! Excellent exceptional services. Made everything work for me with my work schedule. Will definitely refer someone to Ashley’s and will definitely buy again. This was my initial reaction of this store. They have great workers and you experience great customer service in store. Everything from deli every to set up and the after effects are horrible. Everything I brought has some type of problem the beds have screws coming out the dressers have handles off chairs has screws missing broken box spring made of scrap wood if you ask me. It has taken months to get service.
Visiting Ashley’s was a great experience. The store is laid out beautifully and organize. The furniture is quality and made very sturdy. I even enjoyed the friendliness, patience and attentiveness of my sales rep. If you want help and guidance be sure to ask for Alia, she is makes the Ashley experience even better!
Visited your store today. Ms. Akyriah was very helpfully. I told about the back problems i was having and she took my straight to the perfect mattress for me. Once I laid down she informed me about my spine alignment which I didn't even know about. Found the perfect mattress for me. Now I can rest comfortably and peacefully. Thanks Again

Big waste of time Spent over 7k cash for mattress and decor “Labor Day sale “ promised items in 2-3 weeks Turns out mattress is back ordered won’t arrive for prob another month and the other items are discontinued. I found this out after waiting on hold for over 25 minutes. Not sure when I was going to be informed or refunded . Bad business practices IMO don’t finance anything with This company You’ll be stuck I decided to cancel my order And will only buy furniture and bedding that’s in stock from now on
Terrible customer service after the sale. They schedule deliveries then never show up. Never call to say they won't be there. And regardless of what phone number you call. no one ever answers!
The in store sales rep was very nice and helpful. My husband and I picked out three bar stools, couches, a rug and a table. The sales rep told us the couches we liked would be available until December. We choose a different one that she told us would be available but the wait time was four weeks. The manufacturer and delivery service however is not great. The delivery guys came and brought three bar stools and were very nice. I asked where the rest of the furniture was and they said delayed. I called the store and had to wait on the call for someone to pick up 45 minutes later and was told it was delayed until beginning of July. I just called today (July 29) and asked what was going on and the lady said it’s delayed. If they told us from the beginning, I’d be more understanding. I don’t know if this is normal for Ashley Furniture, since we usually shop at Raymour and Flanagan. I would not recommend just because of the wait time to receive the items. *Now 2 weeks later (August 22) on hold to speak with someone once again and have been holding for 25 minutes. Was told 2 weeks ago, our furniture would be in the store on August 20th. So just waiting for an answer. So once again, table is supposed to be delivered and now being told they have to reschedule!!! It’s September 30th.. I like the products they sell but is extremely aggravating that we are still waiting.
Absolutely fed up. There is no communication whether you are struggling to get a hold of them or trying to find out what's going on with your order. My order is delayed every single time I get in contact with them (which takes days and or 30+ min wait times) and they have done nothing to notify me or even apologized for the issues I've expressed. My items have now been delayed on 3 occasions, with no guarantee of when they will arrive. I'm about to move into my home without any bedroom furniture despite ordering over a month ago (08/08/2020), at this point. The staff could care less and offer no solutions. Update: After being given a pick-up date of 9-12-2020 for my purchase, I still have not received a single item from my order. I have called every week only to be delayed further each time. Finally on 9/23 I called and was told everything was ready for pick-up at the Gonzales location for Saturday 9/26. I arrived with two other people, who had to take off work to help me, and was told by the warehouse they didn't have a single piece of my furniture. So on Wednesday all but one piece was there, ready for me to come and get, confirmed I could pick everything up Saturday, I get there Saturday and not a single piece is there. As a "courtesy" I was offered free delivery for my entire order for Wednesday 9/30 in the afternoon. When I got the call they would be delivering in the morning I returned their call as I could not be there Wednesday morning, and they told me only 1 piece of my furniture was set up to get delivered, not the entire set. I was also informed that they could not get in touch with the Gonzales location to even confirm I had been offered delivery, and the kicker?? I get a call around 1 pm the day before the apparently 1 piece of my set was to get delivered only to get told it would be delayed - yet again. Absolutely do not give this company any of your money. I will be in store on my next off day to cancel my order - the stress and disrespect is simply not worth it.

Ordered furniture the beginning of AUGUST, was told beginning of SEPTEMBER for delivery, waited... was then told the END of SEPTEMBER. Here it is end of SEPTEMBER, guess what I was told. End of OCTOBER possibly NOVEMBER. Come on now. There is no excuse for this at all and I am highly upset at the sheer lack of transparency that they have. At no point was I contacted by a representative with this information, I had to take it upon myself and call. Very disappointed, frustrated and upset that I am still waiting on this delivery.

Dillon is the whole reason I went with Ashley furniture. He asked what I was looking for, gave me the best offers he had and allowed me to look around without hovering over me and didn't at all make me feel pressured to hurry with my choices. I went in to get a queen and ended up getting a king because the prices were just too good. I love the fact that he could tell instantly which bed fit my asthetic. Definitely will be buying with him again when I come back for my livingroom set.
I left a review a few week ago praising the sales associate for how he helped me and I stand by that. Fast forward I am still waiting on my product . Was given a specific window time of them coming. Which I arrived at home from work during that window. I been trying to call about my delivery each day when it was suppose to happen, but no one ever answers the phone. I was hung up on constantly . The only way I could get someone was online chats. During the only chat i found out they came a hour early with no one contacting me. They said they didn't have number, but I gave it to them during the purchase. I know I didn't spends a large amount of money but I just want my product and to be treated fairly by this business.
Please read the reviews before purchasing from here. I had much higher expectations purchasing from a place like this rather than big lots or something. I was wrong. The only part that was pleasant was my sales person. & I guess when selling an item making the experience pleasant as possible is cool to get a sale... but no help is offered after that whatsoever. Don’t bother calling the store for some reason the phones “don’t work” and never have. If you purchase something from here do it MONTHS in advance. I was told it would take 4-8 weeks for the set I ordered to come in. Was contacted through text at the 4 week period saying it would be another 2-4 weeks. It has now been 8 weeks total and I haven’t been contacted to set up delivery or anything. I wanted a nice couch but I don’t understand how after so many negative reviews the company seems to never improve. EDIT *** Got ahold of customer service today. Was told that after 8 weeks they do not know anything. No delivery date. Can’t give me an updated status. This company is TERRIBLE.
Dont buy here!!!! Ordered a sofa on july 28th paid cash!!!!2,117 August 6th was my delivery date. They changed it to September 18th 🙄it was a no show after taking off of work that day because they didnt give me a time. Next day came they called and it was voice activated to pick another date so I pick the next date available September 20th !!! Mind you i took another day off because there wasnt a time set. and they just delivered two pieces of a 5 piece set. Im so highly upset. I asked the guys they said they will call you. How!!?? they dont even answer phone calls. No one answers the phone I've been calling for months. Where is my furniture??? They will comment on here sorry about everything but won't do anything. Just for you to send an email like that will help. Close close close down please yall are not for the people and it shows!!!!! Please dont ignore the red flags I did when I went in the store and the MANAGER was like you not about to get a refund sir. And he said I needed my room set 3 months ago 🤦🏼♀️ why didn't I leave right then and there. One bad review is enough for me. You really have to do something for me to put a review just saying. And I'm the most understandable person. But this is right out bad business

This store doesn't even deserve a star. I purchased a house full of furniture in july...they are telling me it won't come until october. At this point i want my money back. The workers are rude. A disgrace. And using covid is a piss poor excuse for a 3 month turn around on furniture.
They will not even answer the phone. I called about my furniture delivery and no one ever answered. I called repeatedly for more than an hour and 35 minutes. It sounded like the phone was automatically hung up after holding for a while. This store does not value its customers.

Nice quality furniture. The store was busy and I had to wait a bit but once my sales person was ready for me, I could not have asked for a more attentive or accommodating person to work with. Ms.. Moore took time to make sure all my questions were answered. I never felt rush. She didn’t try to upscale me. She offered advice and gave her honest opinions when asked. She presented me with several different purchasing options. The whole experience,(although lengthy- but who wants to be rushed when purchasing something as significant as furniture) was quite satisfying.
My experience with Ashley Homestore was amazing. Everyone was so polite, professional. They were there to listen to what I wanted and didn't try to get me to buy things that I didn't want. I ordered an entertainment in mid July from this location (in person). They said at the time of purchase that they are experiences delivery delays, and said it would reach me for 6 weeks. They were also nice enough to give me a small discount on the order because of this. Fast forward to late August, and I have not heard a SINGLE update from them. No automated text/email service saying your order is delayed. The date passes on when its supposed to arrive. I call customer service and they say its going to be AT LEAST ANOTHER MONTH. I have called the customer service multiple times and no one has been able to say when my item is getting here. The only thing they can do is put in a ticket to have someone from the store call me. I have done this twice and have not received a call. Delaying the order an extra month after it was supposed to arrive is unacceptable. It has been roughly 8 weeks since I spent several hundred dollars on an item that I have not received yet. They basically robbed me at this point. Will not be shopping with them again, and I would advice you don't either. WHEN IS MY UNIT GETTING HERE.

Went into the Ashley store on airline hwy located in Baton Rouge. The worst experience EVER!!!! All the sales people were up front catching cool air because ac was out in the back of the store. Nobody never offered to help us. A really nice guy name Kevin finally stopped to help us even though he wasn’t a salesperson. Paid cash for my furniture. Was told due to Covid it will be a no contact delivery. Which i signed for it. Delivery came i wasn’t home they were suppose to leave it at my front door. They had my permission. And yet they didn’t. Received a new delivery date was in July!! Took off work no delivery no call back or anything. At this point I’m aggravated. Went in store for a refund only to get a partial refund. It’s been well over 10 weeks now and still haven’t received the rest of my refund money!!! I will never step foot back into this particular Ashley furniture store ever again in life!!!!!
My husband and I recently visited the store in Baton Rouge, La on Airline. We were greeted by Ty who was very nice and eager to find just what I was looking for. He asked a few questions and then we went through the entire store until we found the couch I wanted. Ty went above and beyond helping us and was aimed to please. We enjoyed our shopping experience with Ashley Furniture and was lucky to have Ty as our salesman. We had shopped around and the prices at Ashley was unbeatable.
2 months after ordering a couch I finally get a delivery date and it's been rescheduled by them twice now. They waited until the day before delivery, after I confirmed it and have already taken off of work to reschedule the delivery for the second time.
Staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us make an informed decision we were happy with.

See below for an update, big change! Holly was super nice. After shopping around for a couch including couches across the street from them. We found the right couch for a decent price. The store had a great selection with couches that were half the price of many other stores. Will update after delivery of our items but so far the process has been seemless. Edit: After all said was above here is what has taken place! Our couch was delivered almost a month late. Then it breaks in the first week of getting it. If you call the corporate office because you can't get in touch with these Yahoos (they never answer the phone) expect to wait as much as a hour or two on the phone getting someone. Then come to find out our sales rep was fired or left either way...our couch still isn't fixed. We have a scheduled date but after more than four hours on the phone. I have zero hope that this company will solve the problem. We even bought a warranty but apparently it's a manufactor issue which is a huge problem because these people have ZERO idea what they are doing. Stay far, far away! I filed a BB compliant. If I don't get my couch fixed soon I'll be taking them to court.
My order was not there on the day I should have picked it up. I would have to wait a month before it come in was not happy
My boyfriend and I went in today to look for a sectional. Sawanda (Hopefully I spelled that correctly) and her fiancé (the manager) were very helpful! Their personalities are what made it even better, very cool people. They were helpful but from a distant. My boyfriend and I appreciated how they were not the type to hover. They gave us our space to look and shop and helped us when needed. They even given us a good deal! Would recommend them 10/10!
I made my purchase 4 wks ago. I was told it would be 2 wks and I could pick up in the Gonzales area at the warehouse. Well it didnt show up in 2 wks. I'm glad I didnt drive over 40 miles to pick it up. I got tired of trying to speak to a warm body at the 3rd week and made a visit to the showroom. I was told the phones are not answered in store, they go to a call center. I have been on hold ALL day for my recliner that I needed 4 wks ago for medical reasons!

Made an in-store order on June 29th. Paid cash for my items. Still have not delivered my items and anytime I talk to anyone, they still don't have my items in. But I have text and emails that have scheduled delivery 3 times. The day before they are supposed to deliver, they call to reschedule. I can't get my stuff and they refuse to give me a refund so I can take my business elsewhere. My kids have been sitting in camping chairs because they swore that they were going to deliver my stuff 3 weeks ago. Then I was promised the 15. Then the 21st and now the 25th. I'm sure it will get pushed back again. I can't talk to anyone on the phone because after being on hold for 10 minutes, it hangs up and you have to start all over again. I have wasted 4 hours with that. Waste of time and money.

The salesperson was extremely helpful while explaining the specials, discounts, financing, and best overall option for me. He showed us several different options in furniture that fit our needs and ultimately got us settled on a couch and bedroom set for our home. I believe the guys name was Daniel and 10/10 would recommend you see him. We’ll be back for that super cooling mattress in the future!
My wife and I have been trying to get in contact with anyone who works at the BR location and nothing. We've called at least 50 times and never an answer on any line you select, we've emailed Holly our salesperson numerous times and nothing. We were supposed to have almost 4K worth of furniture delivered last Tuesday and we can't get any answers, we are seriously thinking about canceling our order and buying from somewhere else.
Our experience was great. Daniel was a salesperson. Gave us space when we wanted it and answered all of our questions. I'm really happy about the purchases he helped us make.

My boyfriend and I went into the store this past Thursday to LOOK at sectionals. We actually went to 5 different stores because we were just browsing. We fell in love with the one here, but had flat said we weren't buying anything! We wanted to get an idea of what we wanted for when we come back later because we are remodeling the house and I didn't want a new couch in a literal construction zone... Multiple people came up to offer assistance, but I told them all that we were just browsing. Vic at the Airline Hwy Baton Rouge location is without doubt the reason Ashley HomeStore won our business. He 100% respected that I wasn't intending to buy and didn't make me feel pressured, but still let me know information that changed my decision! Instead of just hearing my answer and walking away, he asked a couple of questions. I explained our situation to him and he let me know that there was a sale going on (gave us the end date of it) and explained that delivery is taking longer than normal (8-12 weeks due to material shortage with the pandemic) so my concern about the house wouldn't be a problem! He did EXACTLY what a good customer service/sales rep should! He created a sense of urgency without being pushy. Had I waited till after the house was complete I would have been frustrated with the delivery time. He definitely took a negative issue and explained how it would work for my unique situation! Long story short, I went today (Saturday) to order it because the sale ends Monday. He remembered me, our conversation, and got us what we needed at a fair price (which, BTW, wasn't the cheapest sectional we found)! He completely explained the warranty and was thorough going over the expectations for delivery. He also made sure to give me his card, for the second time, so that if I have any issues with receiving it or communicating with the warehouse that I could contact him directly. Customers buy based on relationships, not cost alone. Vic is a outstanding example for your company and I'm thoroughly satisfied with our experience with y'all. I'll definitely be buying from you again (and recommending Vic specifically to my friends and family when they have home furnishing needs) based on this interaction.
I would definitely recommend Ashley’s. I went today to look for a headboard and getting up getting a whole new king size bedroom set! Nicholson was so much help and I love my new set. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Prices are not bad!
Terrible Service and Awful Quallity. I will NEVER buy anything from them again. I bought a sectional sofa for 2500 dollars and it is already falling apart. Only 7 months old.
Dealing with this place has been nothing but trouble. Tried to get in touch with someone in regards to my delivery date and never could get anyone to answer the phone finally got my furniture delivered a month after it was ordered and now I am trying to find out about a promotional program with $150 visa card and can’t get anybody to answer the phone. It has been one problem after another with these people. Will never do business with them again.

Visited the new Ashley HoneStore in Baton Rouge and stumbled upon the deal of a lifetime. Bought a four piece wicker hotel pool lounge quality set I've been eyeing for two years! I'm so excited. My patio is now an outdoor living space. The sales associate that helped us was knowledgeable and pleasant, which is all I expect, and she exceeded. Will definitely return to this location should the need arise.

I wish I could give no stars. I am very upset with the way my order has been handled. I purchased a sofa set in May and was told I would receive my furniture in Mid July, which was fine. I got a text stating my furniture would be in July 16 but on the 15th I got a call stating it would be on the 22nd, then I get a call on the 21st saying it wont be in until august 13th. But I get a text on the 22nd to confirm my delivery. I called delivery that insured my furniture was coming in and also received a text that they were 45 mins away . I left work early for no one to show up. I called the store and spoke with the manager that was not any help said all she could do was send a email and someone will call me back one day still no call back. I also was told that delivery came to my house but no one was there which is a lie but was also told that my furniture hasn't even left the manufacturer. Then I was given a different date of Aug 4th. I called the store back the next day and held for 45 mins no one came to the phone. I sent my mom to check and she witnessed them having a personal conversation while I was still sitting on hold. I asked for someone ahead of that manager and was told there is none. I called delivery to find out one piece coming in august and another in September. The communication at this place sucks, delivery sucks, managers suck. And after reading the reviews I cant believe this has been going on so long and nothing is being done. I understand we are in a pandemic but there is a better way this could have been handled. Like actually communicating right information to the customers.
I purchased a bed from the Ashley Furniture store In Baton Rouge, La on Airline Hwy. When purchasing this bed I specifically told Mr Cornilleus, who originally works in the Lafayette store, that i would need the bed delivered on July 28th, 2020 around 10am-12pm. He assured me that this request would be doable and encouraged me to place the purchase. After receiving messages for two weeks stating my purchase would be delivered on the 28th as planned I finally received a confirmation email stating it would be delivered between 8:45am-11:45am. I called the 866 number given to me in the confirmation email on Friday 7/24 and spoke to a young lady who also assured me I would receive another call for a specific time today 7/27, needless to say I did NOT. I attempted to contact the Ashley Store on Airline Hwy today on 7/27 at 5pm and continued to have the phone hung up in my face after being on hold multiple times for a minimum of 30 minutes. After trying to reach someone for the fifth time I then received the automated message saying that the store was closed. I then took a last resort by driving to the store only realizing they were indeed OPEN and NOT CLOSED. I spoke to the store manager Mr. Jim and explained my concern with the delivery time of 8:45am being too early since I would not receive my keys until 10am and even spoke to another sales rep about this when i purchased the bed and he then looked my order up in the system and stated “yeah this didn’t make the truck so it wouldn’t be delivered tomorrow, what’s an alternate date”. I do not understand how I’ve been contacted multiple times throughout the week for TWO weeks stating my order would be delivered on time and not once received a notice stating the delivery would be delayed!!!! Not only am I FRUSTRATED at the fact I was not able to get in touch with someone, I am furious I never received a message stating I would have to have my purchase delivered another day. My husband and I went to Ashley to find a new couch. We live in an apartment and needed very specific measurements. An employee, Holly, came up and asked if we wanted help, she wasn’t pushy or following us around, which I like. Holly new everything about couches lol. She knew stuff we didn’t even know we wanted or needed for our space. After looking at a bunch of couches we got the exact one we wanted and worked best! The price was better than anything I could even find online. I would recommend anyone going here for furniture. Since we did not finance the couch we got a 20% discount. I loved the entire experience and was in and out in no time. Happy customer here !

The worst customer service ever! I have been waiting on missing furniture for over 2 months now. It was ordered from a store in Arlington Texas with Telesales representative Antonio Bass. The first time they brought the dinette table with the chairs, but no table legs which is ridiculous. They also brought the bookshelf with only one shelf, when it was suppose to have 4 shelves. Several weeks later I finally received the Tylercreek dinette table but did not receive the chairs to complete the set that I had paid for already. I still have not received the Tyler creek bookshelf or desk, which I had ordered on June 2nd. I still have not received the swivel chair which I had ordered on May 29th from the Baton Rouge store with manager Jim Leonard. They are now saying it won’t be until 9/11/20. They have scheduled and confirmed delivery like 15 times only to push back the date, at the super last minute like the day before. I cannot get anyone over the phone at either store to get some assistance or an update regarding my order even though they have already deducted the payment from my account, which was the only thing they have done efficiently. And when you call the corporate office they just give you the runaround. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They are totally unprofessional, and nobody’s accountable or knows anything. They have given me several different email addresses and none of them have worked. Stay away if you value your time and peace of mind cause for the time and effort I have put in trying to get some assistance I could have made the furniture myself.
It started off rocky when no one would come to see about a potential customer. I was in the store for at least 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. So I decided to look for the set online and I was going to purchase through that medium. Someone eventually came over to assist me. I was very pleased with her help. I’m only giving 3 stars for that associate, but the overall lack of acknowledgment by the staff would warrant 1 Star. You must do better!!!! You don’t know who is willing to make major purchases from your store. Next time if there is a next time, I definitely won’t wait around to spend money in your establishment. I will move on to where my business is desired.

The in store service was really great. Excellent sales people. Unfortunately the distribution, manufacturing and delivery are the worst I've ever had to deal with. The excellent sales rep scheduled our furniture to be delivered to our home but the closest date was a month and a half away. OK fine, maybe that's how long it really takes. Then the date came and went without anybody contacting us to tell us they would not be available on time. Then we got new dates another 3 weeks away and on the new date only 2 out of 3 pieces showed up and one of them was missing the rails so they could not put it together. I sent all of it back and went to the store to cancel the order. Days later I get a call to confirm my delivery date so i called to see why my order hadn't been canceled and they said that the order was still on and it will take another 7 - 10 business days to get my money back. needless to say....never again.

Bought almost $4000 worth of furniture including a sectional sleeper sofa. They delivered today and only brought one half of the sectional and said the other hasn't come in yet. Never bothered to call me and tell me. Had to wait for the delivery guys to tell me when they got here. Sad part is, got a text from them yesterday confirming everything that was being delivered and the text showed that both pieces of the sectional was arriving today. What am I gonna do with half of a sectional? Have been trying to call them since the delivery guys left and nobody will answer the phone. Horrible customer service

I love Ashley's Furniture but we had difficulties getting our items delivered. The 1st time we had a problem..a sideboard on our new king size bed broke and we made warranty claim. It took 2.5 months for the item to be delivered and we had sleep on the sofa. I went against my husband's judgement and bought more items. We bought (a coffee table, one end table 6 dinning chairs).. It's been 1 month and the chairs are still not delivered.. They are suppose be delivered tomorrow but we don't know... because Ashley's has called us twice already to delay the delivery..
Our sales manager Corteney was super amazing! She was knowable, friendly, supportive and made us feel special. She didnt make us feel like she was just trying to make a sale. We felt as if we've known her for years which made the sale comfortable for us. I like how she stepped away for a while to allow my son and I told determined if Ashley's Furniture bedroom set was right for us. However, she still knew when to come back and check on us. So we didn't feel as though she forgot about us. This was our very 1st time shopping at Ashley's Furniture but it will not be our last thanks to Courteney!

The delivery guys left a trail of sweat in my house and did not put on maskes as my wife requested. She had to call me at work because they left 3 of 8 dinning room chairs that were wet and orange stained from their sweat. I went to the store of purchase and the three people would not do anythings. They said its is a customer service issue and they are sales. I sent emails to the email they provided. I sent photos and I have not recieved a response. The original 4 stars will be down graded. My thought is they are attempting to get me to use the insurance I purchased. What they are going to get is the loss of a client. Service after purchase matters. Update Part 2: New delivery crew delivered the chairs 3 months after purchase and all the above. The sofa was not exchanged at that point because the exchange was torn. 4 months after that a trailer shows up with a sofa. I had already had the sofa cleaned.
The Ashley Home Store in Baton Rouge has a great selection of furniture and home decor items from which to choose. I was comparison shopping. The furniture store I was looking has Ashley products so I decide to go directly to the Ashely store .I am so glad I did. The other furniture store had the best prices all around, but the Ashely store had a larger selection. I found exactly what suits me and I am cancelling my lay-away at the other furniture store. Ashely had various ways for payment. All I had to do was to first qualify then choose my payment options. In addition you get 3 years of zero percent financing. The other furniture store only offered zero percent for a few months. My furniture will arrive within next week . The other furniture store in a month. I need something to sit on now. Thoroughly disappointed. We ordered a sectional, bed set with mattress, and table.... what can be said is my paperwork had multiple errors that took 3 times plus a manager to resolve. The. day of delivery they are late so I called and the found out that "I was supposed to get a call that the middle part of the sectional was unavaliable for delivery and someone was to call me the day before." The guys that setup were awesome, however they realized the store rep did not order the correct number of frames for the bed, the table was missing a parts , and the free pillows and bed protection was included. We are thoroughly disappointed with process. But the delivery guys did a great job!
I shopped Ashley in Airline Hwy in BR, La and I loved the items that were there. My overall experience was great and because of one associate who actually acknowledged us and assisted in the store, we made two purchases that day. Nick was well mannered, respectful and kind. And he worked with a sense of urgency which is the top key to great customer service. Because of Nick I will be back.
I went in looking for a sofa set and Eduardo was amazing!!! He took the time to show me around to several different options and allowed me to chose with no pressure. I will definitely be back to purchase the rest of my furniture from Ashley’s and Eduardo.

I have been dealing with them for almost two months now. I ordered a bed set with adjustable base on March 7th. I was told it would be delivered by March 13th. I called to check on the status and was told I was never scheduled for delivery. It was then scheduled and delivered March 17th at 11:00 at night. The foot board was damaged so it wasn’t able to be set up. A week later the foot board was delivered by another set of delivery guys who then proceeded to tell me I needed to purchase a “bunkie board” because the adjustable base I ordered didn’t fit the bed set. I was told by the sales team when I purchased the set that it would fit. It is now May 5th and I currently have a $1200 adjustable base that has been leaning against a wall in my bedroom for almost 2 months. I’ve called multiple times and also emailed and no one returns my calls or emails. I keep being told a ticket has been put in for someone to come out but I still haven’t heard a word from anyone. Customer service is terrible.

Sucks. I placed order January 19th. Delivery date Feb 28th.. I took off work and nothing. I called to see where they was at. They told me they moved my delivery date to March 4th. Never called and no email about my date being changed. I did a return same day as delivery Feb 28th. They lady said 3-5 business days for my money to return back to my card. Here we are April 14th and still no money on my card.

In the beginning, dealing with this business was really nice. The store was really well designed with a variety of different types of furniture to fit into any style of home you have. The sales rep Victor was really helpful with helping me find a new bedroom set along with a new tempur-pedic mattress. So I placed a $5,700 order on the 11th of Jan and at that time I was schedule to receive everything except the bed frame on the 25th of Jan, and the bed frame was scheduled for the 15th of Feb. When the the first delivery date came around they only brought the mattress (without a box spring so my $2.1k mattress has been sitting on the floor since then), a night stand, and a dresser (without the mirror it was supposed to come with). Also the delivery was about 3 hours late. They then said everything else will come with the bed frame on Feb 15. A couple days Before Feb 15th they said the bed frame wasn’t ready but everything else was ready. I told them just to wait and bring everything for Feb 29th so I don’t have to wait around my house multiple days or use up extra PTO days just to accommodate them. A couple of days Before the 29th of Feb the same thing happened and we re-scheduled the delivery for the 7th of March. At this time they didn’t give me any option to request a preferred delivery window. A couple days before March 7th the actual delivery window was provided and it just so happened to be a time i was scheduled to be at work. No other adult was able to be at my house so I had to reschedule for the 13th On the 13th I had to use up one of my vacation days to be there for the delivery. Then the delivery guys told me that the bed frame wasn’t designed properly and that I need to schedule for someone to come back and replace the bed frame that I had waited 2 months for. Also, this was when I was told for the very first time that my chest of drawers is on back order and isn’t on the delivery truck and I have to reschedule that as well. I am on the phone with the store manager right now to cancel the delivery of that chest as I don't want to deal with this anymore. She was able to cancel my order and wave the 10% cancellation fee after I described to her how disgruntled I was throughout this whole process.
My experience was very pleasant today. I walked in looking for a Realyn dresser. Austin Sharpe assisted me immediately, was very helpful and even matched the online price! I purchased the dresser and will definitely return for living room furniture in the near future! Debbie B.

I am a 71 year old widow who lost all of her furniture during a hurricane. I went into Ashley on February 4th to buy a power-lift recliner. I paid to have it delivered. It is now March 11th and and I still don't have my chair. They never return phone calls.. Will not buy the rest of my needed furniture from Ashley.

They don't honor the warranties on the furniture you buy from them. The quality of the furniture is not like it use to be. Avoid this furniture store like it's the plague.
Let me began by stating the order of the couch was placed incorrectly at the airline hwy location with our sales rep. She placed the order incorrectly, the time frame and days were very uncoordinated, the couch was also delivered with no legs on the right side of the sectional. Probably the most unprofessional business I have ever had to deal with in my life. I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed in this business for the way the customer service is handling things.
I wish I could give 1/16 star. Wow what can I say about Ashley Home Store in Baton Rouge ? Nothing nice. I placed an order or 01/01/2020 and waited 30 days for delivery. I had to take off of work the day they showed up. What a waste. They were 8 1/2 hours late. Once the truck was unloaded, over half of the items were damaged. The sales team ensured us that all items would be inspected before delivery. One of the dining room chairs had a broken leg. The leg was nowhere in the box. Great QA/QC. The head board was the wrong model, the foot board was damaged badly, one of the dresser drawers was split right down the middle and the bed rails were wrong. Calling customer service was pointless and I got the runaround from them. I was told to call the store. The store sales manager would not return my calls. He is really good at hiding. I was finally able to speak with someone who understood my frustration and tried to help, only to find out that she had no clue on how things worked at the warehouse or no clue on what was being shipped and when. To make a long story short, I’m waiting on a partial order re delivery as I type this. Oh and guess what? They were supposed to be here 4 hours ago. Do yourself a favor and avoid Ashley Home Store at all cost. It’ll save you a bunch of frustration and time. Here's an update to my original review. I've had several people with Ashley reach out to me since this review all saying they were interested in helping, but the problem is NOT solved....I've come to the conclusion that they cannot help. I've had one re delivery rescheduled for tomorrow (originally supposed to be on 2/15/20) and I received a call this morning from the Ashley Warehouse saying that a dining room chair would not be on the truck and would not be delivered until Saturday 2/29/20 because someone forgot to load it on the truck. The warehouse is approximately 4 hours away from where I live but I'll have to wait over a week to get it. This may be the type of customer service that Ashley Furniture is used to but it's completely unacceptable to me! Please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. The frustration is unbearable.

Please do not patronize this store. I ordered a bed and requested delivery on 2/18. Received text message that bed was being delivered 2/13/20. Removed my son old bed, consequently, Ashley notified me and told me that the headboard was missing. Now its 10 o'clock at night the driver calls and asks is it too late to deliver furniture!!!
Omg it was a blessing to meet our Sales Lady her name is Sharissa she's an amazing young Black Beautiful Queen!!! She took care of is as if were her family!!! Also I can not leave out Mr. Sleep!!! Nice selection of beautiful well built furniture but it ends there!!! Delivery and customer service comprehension is terrible! I should have read the previous reviews before purchasing $6k worth of furniture. Once you pay, everything from that point goes down the drain. You have to wait wait and keep calling them to beg your items to be delivered. I wasted 2 vacation days dealing with their complete incompetence. On the 3rd delivery attempt I had to inconvenience my mother to be at my house for the pick up of the incorrect item they previously delivered and deliver the correct item. That actually happened but the 2nd bed that was also scheduled for delivery was delivered to my old address that's a empty house!!!! Thankfully I have good neighbors that called me and retrivied the bed so they wouldn't send it back to Houston and reschedule another delivery date when I waited over 6 weeks to finally get that bed. Thanks for the final inconvenience of having to drive a hour and 45mins to my old house and back and have to assemble the bed myself when I paid the delivery setup fee. I don't know what escalating this review will do when now after this horrible experience Ashley has it's $6k and I have the item's. Better off ordering g from amazon after seeing the item in the store. No delivery fee and it arrives in 48 hours. The pricea are cheaper and sales tax is only 4.5%. That's wear I'm ordering the barstools we want to purchase in a few weeks. Beware!!!!!!! Update!!!! Now they have charged my Ashley CC for both ottomans even though the wrong ottoman was returned when the correct ottoman was delivered. I called to have my account credited and was told I would receive a phone call within a hour. That was 72 Fcking hours ago still no follow up call! Monday morning I'm going straight to the BBB!

Extremely poor customer service. I did not know my items will delay until the day no one showed up. Called the store for solution, the lady who picked up is so rude, try to talk to the manager and no response. Basically they charge $149 delivery fee for no delivery service. Do not even try to contact the store, it will only waste your time. The only thing they will tell u is wait! This store completely ruined my new year eve. Imagine all the friends come to your house without any furniture to seat during new year eve! Update: We have been waiting to received our furniture for a month. I tried to call and email the custom service for this matter so many times. They scheduled 3 delivery none of them actually delivery our items. No one will let you know you items are not coming until the day you take a day off and waiting at home for your furniture. Who knows when we will receive our items, everything is nonreturnable!

Horrible service, and Items are nonreturnable. Before you pay, they are nice. After you pay the money, they become the boss. You have to be responsible for no delivery, late delivery and misplacement. I called them to solve the delivery issues. They promised to call me back in 24 to 48 hours. But you will never receive the call forever. Had to call them again after 72 hours. They refused to talk to you and put you to hold for hours. Followed the review reply message to email them. Still got no reply. Looks like their "internal team" is truly internal. Our holidays were totally ruined. We paid $2000 for nothing.
Very bad service. Customer service is so rude. I bought two items. On the scheduled delivery date, one item was delivered wrong and has to be exchanged in two weeks. The other just did not show up. I had to call the store myself to ask why. They just told me to wait another week or two. The store representative hung up my phone twice when I explain my situation. Twice! I paid $150 for the delivery. So, how much do I have to pay to talk?
Absolutely terrible customer service. Selling anything they're really exceptional but once it comes to delivery and communication, absolutely terrible. Will not be returning for purchasing, very disgruntled with my purchase and the process it took. When you are paid to deliver a product and then can not do so, that is pathetic. The manager could not even pick up the phone to inform me he could not find my address and just returned to the store to allow me to wait even longer. Called to see what the hold up was, put onto hold. Hung up and re-called, still put onto hold. Re-called and finally got a hold and still nothing solved and had to pick up since the manager was incompetent with a phone. Still waiting on my refund for delivery and install as we speak. Weeks after the entire incident. Would NOT recommend purchasing from them.
