Darren was our salesman. Very nice and funny! Not once did I feel pressured.. He was very knowledgeable and never left our side even through my crazy questions. We went in with our eye on one particular sectional couch, and left with it being able to be delivered in less than 4 days. Even decided to go and look around at other room furniture.. We will absolutely be back and look forward to working with him again!

READ BEFORE PURCHASING THEIR PROTECTION PLAN/Or even doing business with them. I received a text message stating, 'You have a credit, would you like to use it?' In this day and age, with the prevalence of spam calls and messages, I chose not to respond. After receiving another text, I decided to call the number and learned that the warranty credit had been applied to my account, but I had to use it by a certain date. When I visited the store to use the credit, I assumed the sales staff knew what they were doing, so I proceeded. Before leaving, I was told I should receive an email within a few days confirming the warranty refund had been applied. However, after only receiving confusing text messages from the sales staff this week, I reached out to the person who initially contacted me. I was brushed off and told they couldn’t assist because I had already spoken with someone else in the sales department. They also mentioned that the sales staff was unfamiliar with the process, and that I should have asked for them personally (who, to this day, never gave me their name). I foolishly assumed that everyone should know how, or at least seek help if they don't know how, to process warranty credits during a sale. Essentially, I was left with wasted time and rude service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere with better customer service and faster delivery times.

DO NOT BUY THEIR PROTECTION PLAN! They dont' give you the details. You only have 6 months to use the store credit after the plan expires. I was never told that. They give you all sorts of run around when you call for the credit.

He was very helpful and answered all my questions (even though I done a lot of research before visiting). I will definitely recommend the store and Bennett. Update: 7/6/24 was delivery date between 12:45-3:44) for mattress. I already got rid of the current mattress I was using. Received an email at 3:07pm that it would be 7/9/24 before it could be delivered. Have ordered from Ashley before but that was my last. I cancelled the order and going spend my money elsewhere.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I had the option. I will never recommend them to anyone. I made a very large purchase in store. When my bed got delivered the delivery team left a mess in my bedroom as well as a razor blade on my nightstand, next to the pictures that they knocked over. They refused to take the old bed because the salesman conveniently forgot to add it to the ticket. I have called customer service, messaged them, called the store, shown up to the store and nothing but crickets. I have a king size bed in my garage blocking my walkway making it difficult to move around it. I highly regret my decision to do business with them.

We were in the market for new living room furniture and trying to shop the Memorial Day Sales …. We had been to about 3 other big furniture stores and thought we had found what we would purchase … we ended the day at Ashley in Gonzales. We were greeted as we walked in by Monica … who was very nice, spunky & too cute … she wanted to know what we were in the market for. We told her and she took us right to the one set she thought was what we described. She had us try it out and it was probably the perfect sofa (we did not care for the style of the matching love seat) but the more we discussed it the more we liked the sofa with the zero gravity built in recliners (since we are no longer “spring chickens”) and finally decided to go for it … and bought 2 sofas instead!! Monica was as professional as she was cute … made us feel very comfortable with the whole process (easy peezy) My only problem with the entire process is that all the other stores we went to offered ‘“FREE” delivery and within about a week …. After we decided we wanted the sofa’s, Monica checked for the delivery and it will not be delivered until JULY 18th ….thats at least 6 weeks and there was an added DELIVERY CHARGE of $279.00 … just defeats trying to catch a sale! I almost changed my mind about the purchase!
Bryan was our salesman and he was very friendly, professional and patient! We had just moved to Louisiana & needed to purchase a living room set. He allowed us to browse through the store without being pushy but was always near to answer any questions. Also, David, the manager, also exceeded our expectations with his professionalism & extra care. The delivery guys were also efficient & very accommodating. Our overall experience couldn’t have been better. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend!

Brian did an excellent job of directing us to several different reclining sofa options. We started at lower price ranges and worked our way to ultimate purchase which met all of our needs. Brian was able to explain the features clearly and we saw justification for the sofas with higher prices. Brian accepted we were not interested in extended warranty options and repected our choice. It was s fun experience selecting replacement furniture.

I ordered a brown powered recliner sofa & loveseat December 10th and scheduled delivery for December 16th. The wrong furniture was delivered and had to be declined. This caused a major inconvenience because I did not have adequate seating for my family nor houseguests. I was advised by the store manager that I would have to wait a week for the appropriate order to be delivered. I went to the physical store location Sunday, December 17th to verify the order. The new scheduled delivery date was set for Saturday, December 23rd. The furniture arrived December 23rd with a gray loveseat and brown sofa. I accepted the gray sofa because I had no other way to accommodate my houseguests for the holiday. This furniture purchase has cause me total unconventional, anxiety, and embarrassment. Ashley Homestore did nothing to accommodate me for the inconvenience. I requested to speak with someone at Ashley’s corporate office numerous time but my requests was declined. I was told that there was nothing more the company could do. This had been, by far, the worst purchasing experience I’ve had. This was my first and last purchase with Ashley Homestore.

Do not even waste your time going in here. We placed an order, we're told the order would be delivered today, July 22, 2023. We have it in writing.No delivery, no email, no phone call, and then I have spent an hour on hold and being transferred to be told it will be another 5 days. We will be out of town. I cancelled the order. Now understand, this is a new, 5800$ purchase, and I could not get any answers, so I cancelled the order. Be prepared to be met with menu driven phone service and endless hold times before not even getting anyone who can actually answer you or help you. We will find elsewhere to do business.

Purchased furniture in this store in May 2023. Was expecting delivery by 10th June. One of the item was expected to be delivered by 15 June, but it wasn’t delivered and I got a call from the company saying that the item is broken and it will be delivered in next two weeks but it’s been a month and a half now I’m still waiting for the item The customer care is not responding. The customer care number says the store is closed. They are not bothered to call back or even answer the phone.

I saw a sectional online that I wanted but wanted to go into the store to see the fabric and comfort level. The model that I ordered was not in the store, but the salesman was so helpful. He showed me the fabric on another model and then showed me a sofa that was very similar in seating. I was very pleased that I went to the store and ordered instead of just ordering online with the doubts I had.

DO NOT believe the dates they give you. If they say "2 to 3 weeks for delivery", absolutely false. They will also schedule a delivery a little past the deadline they first gave you so they "come close to the date they first said", then they will cancel the day before. It's an on going thing. First time I've bought from Ashely's and I will not do it again. Still waiting with no couch.

this has to be the worst experience of my life!!! had furniture delivered only to watch them force sofa through door damaging it, dropping it, sliding it on floor damaging it also. let's fast forward 5 weeks, one canceled delivery and the last one again trying to fit through door. the store is no help, all we get is the " unfortunate, sorry, not my department " excuses. beem promised a tech to survey and set up furniture ( cause it's still on plywood) and .... again NOTHING!!!! I have been the one doing all the leg work to get situation resolved only to be told refund is out of the question because furniture was delivered ( damaged mind you )! six weeks of patience and no results has brought me to getting attorney as well as home owners involved to recoupe money and have damager fixed. I sincerely hope no one trusts this business lies and deceit!!! they are only out for sales and commissions, once you leave store you are just a leaf in the wind!

Horrible customer service. Furniture was damaged when delivered. Floor was destroyed by delivery. You can't get a refund. So you have to live with ripped furniture that can't be used. Not to mention, you can't get your property damage fixed. Attorney will be contacted.

Very disappointed with Ashley. Purchased a new electric reclining living room set. Paid for WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY. The 3rd party delivery service dropped, shoved, and ripped the furniture. Never set the furniture up, still has plywood and mud on bottom of furniture. Completely unusable. And on top of that, scratched my wood floors. They won't refund my money, Have to wait for new furniture to be delivered by the same 3rd party.. Still waiting on a resolution.
Purchased living room set with delivery and warranty. They showed up carried sofa to home, dropped in in mud, forced it through door ripping arm, dropped it on floor damaging my new floor. Told wife to get drill and remove plywood from bottom. I asked why we have to do this when we paid for delivery and set up. Was laughed at and was told " we don't work for Aahley, we work for mattress direct. At this point I advised them to leave my home and I would contact store. Still waiting on response

Admittedly this may not be fair due to it being delayed. BUT I purchased a Big-Mans Leather Recliner (over $800) in 2016 and paid 179$ for 5yr warranty. Within a year the left sewed-on arm "pillow" came off. They replaced it twice but within the 2nd year they refused to replace it again. The leather has changed color in a few places, which isn't the worst problem. The recliner had a pull-cable to open the foot rest. That broke off at year 4. They did replace it with a starkly ugly plastic pull handle/cable which lasted almost no time. I am about to junk the chair now due to near collapse if the seating supports. The center of the seat is sloped inward. I hate that I paid for a chair that was to support heavier people when the supports were common or at least not worthy of the title. It really was a piece of junk I let a good saleswoman talk me into.

Delivery is crap! Delay after delay. Excuse after excuse. Finally delivered but missing pieces of my dining table. Said they'd order another and take 2 weeks. Didn't care to ask the delivery drivers, didn't care to look in their warehouse for the missing pieces. I practically begged for them and they finally looked and found them. I'll go somewhere else next time for furniture.

I am always greeted at the Gonzales store which doesn't happen in Baton Rouge. Darren was very curtitous and helpful. if you are considering buying furniture, I would absolutely recommend not going here. Buying furniture from this store has been an absolute nightmare. My girlfriend and I ordered a sectional couch, a dining room table/chairs, a coffee table, king sized bed frame, a dresser with a mirror, and 2 nightstands in October. Needless to say, we spent a lot of money on this stuff! When it came time for the couch and table to be delivered, the delivery driver told me the couch was damaged and tried to put the blame on the warehouse, and the table base was wobbling, so they only delivered the chairs that went with the table. We called several times to get a new delivery date, and the scheduled date changed almost every time we called. Finally, they delivered only the table base, with no top (and no sofa). When we contacted someone, we were told the table top was discontinued, and we had to select a whole new set. Right after we selected a new set we got an email saying that we could get the table top, but we'd have to go pick it up ourselves in another city about an hour away. So they lied to us, and suddenly they have the top as soon as we pick a more expensive one instead? We said we wanted to stick with the second dining room set we selected, and now they keep pushing back the delivery date every time we call. Now we are stuck with some chairs and an incomplete table. No couch, no coffee table, and no bedroom set. To top it all off, we keep getting emails asking us to schedule our delivery. When we call the number provided, we are just told we can't schedule it because the items are not in the warehouse. Please, for the love of all that is good, avoid this place at all costs!
The services was great but at the same time I was a little disappointed because I wanted to purchase the furniture and I hopefully take it home. and have it in my living room before Christmas. Because before I came there, I had already toss the old one out now I have a living room with nothing to sit on but a part from that it was a warm, wonderful feeling the environment. The service was wonderful. But the Wi-Fi sucks because my wife couldn’t be there with me and she asked me to send her pictures of everything I picked before I made a decision that took forever to send pictures.

We found a Beautiful sofa, Love seat and recliner. The sofa had 2 recliners and the love seat reclined. It was a Beautiful Forest green Microfiber! It was on sale which was even better! Our sales lady was great!

I have been given the run around by my sales person (who is no longer at this store) with date changes, etc. I was given a delivery date and time (11/22 between 3-6). I asked what would happen if no one was at the home at the time assigned. I was told by my sales lady that nothing would happen that they wouldn't just leave the furniture that it could be easily rescheduled the next day. LIES!! They didn't come and I received a rescheduled date of Dec 8. Today 11/29, I get a call from the sales lady that it would be Dec 15. I was told that my sectional was given to another customer because I wasn't there for the delivery (which per my security cameras NEVER happened. Having spoken to the sales manager, he confirmed that it is a common practice! I feel as though I have been bambuzzled! I tried calling the store for over an hour this morning.....no answer, call dropped. I got the call bank who told me that I had to speak directly to the store....so I drove here where I met with the sales manager who verified the practice of giving purchased merchandise to other customers. I requested a refund in full (over $2800). There is an error with their ER TICKET system (emergency response). So my refund could not be proffered! WHAT IN THE HECK? They certainly took my money immediately. I was also told that it could take up to 10 days but my account was immediately debited. Ashley furniture in Gonzales pastor Darren Davis was horrible totally not honest and ordered me what he wanted NOT WHAT I ORDERED. I have contacted the loan company and I will also charge them for storage. This was a horrible experience I witnessed . Never go to Ashley’s furniture then they took a month to deliver, NO SET UP EITHER AFTER pastor said they would. Never shopping here again

If you want to wait for months for your furniture to arrive and then when it arrives its gonna have parts missing then you gotta wait longer, and of course pricey furniture. Well… then Ashley is your place. Ashley is the worst furniture storw in the area, they will sell you furniture and months later they’ll call you to let you know, they won’t be able to deliver your order just because they don’t have it. The company is a complete mess. I won’t buy anithyng on that store never again.

Don’t go to Ashley Furniture to purchase anything for any reason what so ever. I had a salesperson lie to me to stack up my total purchase so he could gain commission on the sale and promise me delivery times and assembly that was not even possible. They have rescheduled my delivery for now the 3rd time due to terrible communication and now their truck mysteriously did not show up on the day they were scheduled to finally drop off my furniture. Months later from the date I was promised when I opened up a line of credit with the home store and still nothing to show for it. Beyond horrible customer service!!!

Don't believe anything they say about items being "in stock" i just moved into a new place and have been without a sofa for MONTHS after I ordered it. This has been the worst nightmare I've ever dealt with in any consumer experience. Have yet to recieve anything, the only calls I get are pushing it back further.

I paid in full for a bedroom set in March and it was supposed to be delivered in June. They attempted to deliver it in late July, but only the head board and foot board. The customer service agent told me “you can just store it in your house until the rails become available, but I don’t know when they will be available.” Finally received the bed today, 8/31/2022 at 8:30pm. The delivery guy set it up and told me “it’s done, but you can’t use it because they didn’t include the slats.” The slats are clearly on the delivery sheet but not in the box. I took apart my son’s bed & gave it away yesterday to be ready for his new bed. So now he doesn’t have a place to sleep. I will never shop at Ashley ever again and don’t recommend that anyone orders from them. I have furnished my new home from several stores and Ashley is the only place I’ve had issues with. Please spend your money at Home Furniture Bedding Plus and not Ashley!
Dealing with Ashley and I guess their policy’s was just overall a very bad experience … no reflection on the employees most tried to be helpful ..

My parents ordered furniture right after the storm (Hurricane Ida) almost a year later and Ashley still hasn’t gotten their order right. Sent them broken chairs that they are giving them trouble to replace. The 3000$ sofa they bought already had a screw pop out (it’s only two people who live there) their bedroom set has been a complete nightmare which still isn’t corrected. My dad has been to the store at least 6 times if not more not to mention the countless phone calls and nothing has been resolved. It’s ridiculous! Oh and don’t let me forget the scratches end table they tried to pass off. Ashley furniture isn’t cheap so when u order something it should be right and if not Ashley furniture should make sure that whatever is wrong be corrected. I do not recommend this store especially the one in Ponchatula. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a furniture order right or replace the things that came delivered in trashy condition. This store is a joke! I give it negative zero stars and -10 below for getting orders right, -20 below on delivery. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and it’s still not over!

Ashley Homestore in Gonzales, La, is the BEST furniture store to buy home furniture. Also, they have the best customer service, they greet you upon entering the store and the take the time to help find exactly what you need. 5 star service all the way around I guarantee.
We purchased our furniture in November 2021. We have not received a complete room in our home as of today. We were given many excuses and ER tickets to expedite the process but to no avail. Trying to call customer service has been a waste of time. I filed a complaint with BBB and did receive a call from an Ashley representative and at this point thought things would start to move in the right direction. our last delivery was confirmed for 8/12/22, but only 1 coffee table showed up off the confirmed list of 4. There is a no return policy, so with half of most of the furniture it would be useless to cancel the remaining furniture. All of this happened because of a mistake made by Ashley back in February. All of our furniture was in, but they sent it to someone else.
The truth and honestly, my experience with Ashley was the worst and I've been waiting for my dining room table, Tv.Stand, the fireplace and other things that I ordered. And to my surprise I have been waiting 8 months for my things and every time I go to ask if my things that I ordered arrived they measure every lie if that date is going to arrive and when I go to the store to look for what I ordered they come and lie to me already I am tired of so many lies because they do not speak clearly to their clients and they lie a lot for me it is not fair that they are playing with people they should do everything possible for their clients waiting 8 months is too much and then they wanted to be paid for the things they order them. things that have not come to me enough of playing with customers….
Ordered a entertainment center July 2021. I understand shipping issues this year, so we received it end of October. Highly damaged, caked in dust, obviously used and assembled terribly. I requested a complete replacement. It’s approved. This is where the real nightmare begins. The item was said to be on back order for 3 months. Then another 3 months. Then another 3 months. By the time I was told June 2022, I already kept my patience. So I gave them extra time when I didn’t hear from them. I call to check on the order first week of August 2022. I was told they attempted to contact my husband for 7 days in June 2022 for delivery. No texts or voicemails. And they canceled my replacement order. I can wait 10 months but they can’t handle 7days?! I had them reopen the order and they assured me it would be delivered today August 11. I mean, why not? It’s supposed to be in their distribution department right? It’s only been a month! I even got text alerts to confirm for 5pm. Called them yesterday to make extra sure. I miss their call at 8am. So I call and am told 3-4 week!!! And it’s on fking back order?! Ashley furniture is either incompetent or lying and refusing to take accountability. Where is my replacement!? Why would they tell me it was ready in June and yet still on back order! DO NOT ORDER WITH THEM! They will waste a year of your life and damaged goods with zero care to handle the issue once they already have your money.
Mr. Darren Davis was very nice and helpful. He was very patient and took time to help me. The only suggestion I could offer is to have swatches of the fabrics . This would give you a better idea as to the color of various pieces.

HORRIBLE experience and the nightmare is not over yet!!! Two bedroom sets ordered for my mother who lost everything in her house and all items were not on the truck during delivery. My elderly mother is not emotionally handling this disastrous experience well. No one can yet tell me when the remaining item will be delivered and no one from Ashley seems to be concerned. PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE WITH ASHLEY THAT TRULY CARES TO CONTACT ME TO ASSIST ASAP!!! Items were ordered in February and I've been lied to on numerous occasions when calling on status, on each occasions, after the initial order was paid for. I continued to hear a different story (lie) from everyone I would speak to on items status. In addition, the items that were delivered were just placed against the walls and in rooms without taking items out of the box. Some bed items delivered, but beds not available to use. HELP!!!
They lie about status of my delivery. I was given 3 separate dates and all canceled the day before delivery was set up. Very professional! When purchasing the furniture I made sure I said I didn't want furniture that was on back order and now it 3-5 week wait until furniture gets to warehouse and then they can schedule a delivery. Mean while my sales guy keeps telling me my furniture is going to be delivered in 2 weeks but he can't give me a date, so unprofessional at Ashley get it together!!!

UPDATE: Do not believe what they say! We bought a livingroom set and were told the items were in stock and would be delivered in 1 week. We called after a week had gone by and were told they weren't in stock and it would be a month out. Now a month later and we were once again told another month out as an estimated date. We should have known because our last order with 3 bedroom sets and a dining set took 8 months to receive. Davante lied to us saying he made sure everything is in stock and they never were and now we're back where we were with the previous order. We would have never purchased the livingroom set if they were not in stock. We will wait another month and if they are not delivered, we will be canceling our order. My cousin is currently going through the exact same issues as we are with another Ashley location and jas been for several months. Davante was such a sweetheart and so helpful. It was a pleasure working with him.
We recently moved to the area and went in looking for furniture. We told them upfront that we needed our furniture as soon as possible. We were guaranteed that our furniture would be in by the beginning, worst case mid July . Every week since June 28th we have called inquiring about our furniture , only for them to tell us it would be another week. When we would get the new date, we would not hear anything and then they would say next week. We still have yet to receive our furniture. I was called today to say the 22nd my furniture would be delivered , only for them to actually mean they were expecting it at the warehouse that day, and that it actually wouldn't be delivered for another week or so after that. Total waste of our time!
This has been by far the worst experience I’ve ever had when dealing with furniture companies. I will never purchase anything from them again. Expect your furniture to be delayed by several months if you do. In addition, be prepared to get your own furniture assembled even if the agreement was for the company to assemble. Unprofessional and doesn’t answer calls. Several trips to the store may have to take place.

After waiting several months for my furniture and several lies on my delivery date, my furniture came with huge stains and missing items. Also, there was a huge miscommunication between the sales rep & I. I thought I purchased an ottoman but it turns out I purchased a protection plan which are around the same price 🙄. I take blame for that because reading the details on my invoice before paying & leaving the store would have save me from that. Anyways…Ashley’s initially offered to come clean the furniture instead of exchanging. I didn’t agree. A supervisor, Joyce( I think that’s her name), helped straighten things out. Ashley’s exchanged the stained furniture and sent missing furniture in about 2 weeks. However, yet again there were stains. This time the delivery team knew what caused the stains and were able to clean off. My suggestions are that Ashley’s furniture.. (1) find a covering that doesn’t leave stains on the furniture or figure out how to get furniture delivered spotless; (2) give accurate information on delivery dates; (3) teach sales rep how to communicate effectively
After 5+ months of waiting it has been a series of wrong color, broken furniture, only one piece delivered,truck won’t start, more broken furniture and numerous calls and text about scheduling delivery. Don’t know what went wrong but very disappointed in what was once a good company
The workers were great, the ladies were patient and understanding, but I have a problem with your extended warranty plan, I bought plan years ago did not have to use them for repairs but I was not able to use them for my purchase, I was lied to about the fact that they do not expire I asked to different workers once in the store when I was buying something and when I purchased my sofa set months ago. The policy was not explained correctly it says in big bold letters, IF YOU DON'T USE IT YOU DON'T LOSE IT. that's a lie, also when I purchased the plan it was not said that if you don't use on repairs you have to spend 50% more than your plan amount and that's no where on the contract I did not find out any of this until I went in to use my extended warranty on yesterday, that's not right the sales person selling this plan to customers should be obligated to explained everything to there customers. I feel that I just throw away money to Ashley furniture store and I've been a loyal customer for many many years, I've been living in my house for 24 years and all of my furniture has come from Ashley furniture. I know that I would never buy a warranty plan from here again. Customers just be aware of their plans read every small print don't just ask questions because like me you may be lied to also

They lied and said I canceled my order in April! I was supposed to receive my bed in June, I called the store; I was told by GM Brett something went wrong with my order! He said he was going to find out what happened to my order! I went in the store today to find out what was going on with my order! Only to find out-They refund my money with out my consent on June 15! So, if my order was cancelled in April why wasn’t I given a refund in April?! 2 month later and I still haven’t received my money!!! I’m still left with a damage bed!!!!

The delivery it takes forever, my bed still not been deliver, and the costumer service when it comes to calls is not helpful at all. Automated system for scheduling delivery, is confusing. My husband schedule it but still I was the one need to conferm it. It did not make sense at all. The person who schedule the delivery should be the one to conferm it not the other person. Like I said costumer service is not being helpful at all.

Highly don’t recommend.! Received my sofa two months ago with a huge stain called immediately after it was delivered they said they would send a new one out. Called today to check the status they now say no evidence of the call and can offer a tech to come out to see if they could clean it. Been paying for a sofa with a huge stain. I walked in with my entire family on Black Friday, missed the 30% sale by 10 minutes and they wouldn't honor, so we accepted it was our fault and was ok with 25%. We walked in looking for a section with an ottoman and that is what we got (or so we thought). I found out (after waiting 3 months for the delivery, that she didn't ring up the ottoman. The sales woman asked me numerous times if I wanted it and the answer was always yes and the manager at check out even confirmed and was even nice enough to say she would throw in the rug as seen cause we loved the WHOLE set so much. The couch we bought (3 months ago) is now no longer on their website and the woman who I spoke to about the transaction was so rude. I never would have purchased this set without the ottoman as it was the main reason we purchased. I even signed up for the credit card with the impression we would furnish our new home with Ashley. They have ABSOLUTELY lost customers for life, including our whole family.

During the time my husband and myself visited the Gonzales Ashley Home-store Cindy along with Kevin stated that the sofa, loveseat, and wedge would be delivered the first week or second week in December and the coffee table would be delivered at the end of March. We received the loveseat ONLY on December 3,2021. We have texted Cindy, our sales rep but have received no response! We also texted Kevin and he responded saying he was off but would check into it. Two weeks has passed and still no updates. I’ve attempted to contact the store multiple times only to receive busy signals, long hold times, or the phone just rings. Today I called and requested via phone entry to speak with customer service. The lady in customer service was very nice but delivered some news I didn’t expect to hear which differed from what was promised during the purchase of the furniture. It was communicated that the Sofa and wedge is not even in stock which should have been communicated during the sale. I was promised something that Ashley can’t deliver on and as a result I am disappointed in the false information I was provided all in effort to get a sale and as a result I now have just a loveseat. Wow, very disappointed! A little Communication would goes a long way!
My experience within the store was pretty good even though I waited almost an hour to be helped by an associate. My delivery however has been an unpleasant experience. My couch was delivered with the back partially unstapled. My table and chairs were delivered and two chairs are very wobbly and wood chunks missing off back of chairs. My loveseat has been scheduled for delivery three different times and still have never received it. My recliner keeps getting pushed farther and farther back. Now I’m expected to make monthly payments on furniture I have not received. I love their furniture but really feel they could do better for the price I am paying. Updated review: I received several confirmation emails, phone calls and texts about delivery today, January 19th. Even gave me a time frame of 3:00-6:00 PM. I rearranged my day to make sure I was here for delivery. 6:15 PM I call and am told they have no records of delivery and not supposed to be available until February 8th. I am only giving a one star review because it doesn’t allow me to give zero. I will never again purchase from Ashley’s and do not recommend anyone else doing so. Unless you want to be sitting or sleeping on a floor for many months to come.

I've been wanting a new sofa so we broke down and went look for black Friday. Couldn't find someone to help. One sales lady told us she would be right with us and never did. Should have been a red flag there. We continue to look and found a sectional. Kevin help us put in the order and thought 4 days was fast to get it. We'll Nov 30 the day of delivery was told 7:30 -10:30 it would be delivered. Never happened. I missed more than half day of work. Could not get anyone on the phone was on hold for 30 mins. So I go to the store no one on the phone and had one lady walk outside and another play on her cell phone. We had white glove set up and everything to be set up but the wage. Only thing delivered was a right long chair and insert. When talking to the lady in store the rest of my sofa was never ordered thanks to Kevin sells guy. 😒 Went to plug the chair in and no plug. What am I paying for this will never happen again. Tried calling today and lady patty hangs up on me after waiting on the phone for 45 mins. I will be finding out the owners and letting them know what incompetent employees they have.

Ordered bunk beds at the end of July and was told 4-6 weeks for delivery. No update since that time. I called customer service about a month ago and was told my item would be at the distribution center on October 13th. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they would call me back at a later time. Again, it’s a month later since I placed that call with no updates. I previously bought several pieces of furniture from here and had a very nice experience, but I am extremely disappointed in the lack of response and customer service. I understand there are delays and supply chain issues but not updating your valued customers or simply calling them back reflects poorly on this business. I would suggest purchasing your furniture elsewhere.

Horrible experience! Paid for my furniture on 8/06/21 and was given a 7 to 14 days delivery date. Phoned their delivery set up number and was given another 10 to 14 day delivery date. Phoned them several times after that and I was told Oct. 5th for delivery. Well today is Oct. 5th and I’m being told that on the bed I ordered, the foot board is in but the head board isn’t. Wow! This is pathetic! All my fault because there was a customer in the Gonzales store that warned me about the terrible service she was getting with her order while I was purchasing my furniture. Their customer service is horrible also. They have a terrible attitude with you because you are inquiring about furniture that you ordered and paid for over 3 months ago! Horrible service, horrible customer service and deceitful about your order. Will Never Purchase from Ashley Furniture or Any of their affiliates Again!!! Never!!!

I ordered a sofa on April 26, 2021 and was told it would be 6 weeks. I was willing to wait and purchased the sofa. The date of the delivery and availability has been pushed back over and over. The only communication I have is when I personally call the 1-800 number every other week to check on my sofa. I’ve almost just cancelled the order twice. I was most recently told I would have it October 2, 2021 and someone would get in touch with me two days prior. I call today to schedule after not getting a call or text for delivery to be told it should be delivered October 8, 2021. This has all been very frustrating. I’ll never order anything from here again. The salesperson was nice, but if everyone was honest about delivery times and days there would likely be happier customers or less of them. I wouldn’t have ordered this sofa if I knew I would have to wait over 5 months to get it!

Monique was our salesperson and was very knowledgeable. There was no high pressure sales techniques. Fully explained all options and gave us a very thorough discription of all functions of the recliner. If the quality of the recliner is anywhere close to the quality of the service, we will be thrilled.
The atmosphere and the salesperson were both equally excellent! The salesperson even accommodated our comfort in a luxurious sectional while we signed our paperwork for a completely new bedroom package! I’ve been a longtime consumer and will continue to do so! Looking forward to our new furniture!
*Edit: At about the 3 month mark of waiting, we got a message to let us know that our order was ready for delivery. When the truck showed up, there were a couple pieces missing. Needless to say, we refused the order & cancelled it after 3 months of waiting only bc we were told that the “rest” of our order would take 3-4 more months to come in. Not ok! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a few different associates willing to help. After browsing for about 30 mins, Kevin sealed the deal. He was very knowledgeable about the product & honest about the ‘possible’ long delivery date, which we appreciated. Can’t wait to get our new sofa & ottoman!

They lie and sold me a warranty that they no longer deal with anymore and four years later my sofa is constantly tearing at the seams falling apart and there’s nothing they can do for me they said. Also they don’t answer their phones comple waste of time and energy! Definitely would never recommend these useless and uneducated people that steal your money!

I was interested in placing an order for a desk, dresser, and side table. I was informed that the desk would arrive in 2 weeks (on the 10th) for pickup and decided to place the order. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was informed the date changed to the 17th. I called this time first asking the status and was informed it was pushed back to the 24th. I called on the 26th asking if the order finally arrived, and was informed it was pushed back another week to the 31st. I understand when placing an order that there could be delay in receiving an oder, especially with the pandemic, but to tell the customer it will be ready for pickup and never arrive week after week is quite annoying. I asked customer service about the matter and stated that something doesn't seem right and if I could get a better idea when it would actually arrive and I was informed no, that it was the packaging companies responsibility, and it will arrive when it arrives. I asked if I could speak with that department and I was told no. I asked if I could speak with a Manager and I was hung up on. While the sales person was very polite, the business organization, professionalism, and honesty is horrible - something Management needs to wake up and improve before its too late!
We ordered our furniture in May in hopes that we would be able to have our furniture not long after we moved in since we were told about 8 weeks. It is now almost September and we still have no couch or barstools. I’m sure we would love our furniture if we had it! But the wait time has been terrible. Not to mention we have had our delivery date changes 3+ times. The communication is just very poor on their end.

This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had purchasing furniture! They are unprofessional and unapologetic for taking my money, failing to deliver what I ordered, giving different inaccurate information week after week. I waited 4 MONTHS only to find out that my furniture pieces had been used to fulfill OTHER ORDERS NOT MINE ! Then only after going back into the store and speaking with the manager I find out they now have no expected date for my furniture! Like seriously. They offer no other options, no compensation, and no apology. Only that they will be HAPPY to refund my order. Had I ordered elsewhere I would’ve had my furniture already and not wasted 4 MONTHS of my life waiting for furniture that was just GIVEN AWAY TO FULFILL OTHER ORDERS. WORST EVER!!!!!! Update Still waiting for regional manager, store manager , anyone at this point to return my calls and at least try to offer a solution to resolve my issue. All I have gotten is text messages from the number that replies to these reviews telling me that someone will contact me. A HUGE disappointment.

5 stars for Kevin was nice and friendly to deal with but after him If I could give zero stars, I would. We have been trying to get a refund from Ashley for weeks now. We have been giving the runaround again and again.They didn't submit the correct paperwork two times. When we call the store, nobody ever answers. EVER. We have talked to multiple people who say that they have to send off a ticket and that someone will call us. We never get a call back. And now we finally talked to someone and yet again they are saying we have to wait two more weeks before we get a our money back.

The customer service was horrible. I put in my order in December of 2020 and was told that my furniture would be in no later than May 25, 2021. That day came and left. It was then pushed back to June the 20th, then July 3, now it’s July the 10th. Let alone the customer service is seemingly unconcerned and care less about the needs of their customers. I stood at the help desk for over 15mins, no one never acknowledged me until I had to intervene on what seemed like a personal conversation. I have been a faithful Ashley furniture supporter and owner over the years not after this. Disheartened and frustrated at this level of care.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! over a weeks time my husband and I purchased over $10,000.00 in furniture. was put on different invoices. we were to get a sofa and love seat, and 4 bedroom sets. they delivered one bedroom and a love seat (not the sofa). each day I would call to check on the rest of my orders and would get different dates every time I called. finally after numerous calls I was told that my sofa may not be in til the end of august (not acceptable after receiving the love seat already). at this time while speaking with the manager, Jim in Gonzales and expressing my disappointment I was told "WE ARE NOT HOLDING YOU HOSTAGE". This didn't sit well and I went into the store and canceled my order and ask to have the love seat picked up as I would no longer need it. tags still on, as this is a weekend home so no one has been there to sit on it. told I needed to speak with customer service to have it picked up. after trying many many times to speak with someone that spoke English I was told that the sale is final. now I have a love seat that I can't useshould have never sold the set and deliver half
Sales people were very pleasant and knowledgeable of their products. Very satisfied so far. I have not unpackaged my dishwasher yet. Hopefully everything is ok. Product selection ok. Delivery was on time.

The manager overcharged me for my furniture and will not take the overcharge off even though I signed a financial agreement in writing that I was only supposed to pay a certain amount...I went to the store to have the manager fix the issue... he promised that he would but he never did... I then reported him to corporate customer service and they were not able to help me because it was a deal I made with the manager at that particular store... then I also called customer service of the region and they also could not help me because it was a deal I made with the manager in the store.... so my advice is never to purchase furniture with this company because they overcharge you for $458 on your furniture and they do not resolve the issues...I also made this purchase with the Ashley credit card and the bank could not fix the mistake that was made even though they had the proof of financial agreement...

I bought my living room set from them in 1999. Other than foam wearing out the furniture is in great condition. I’m passing it to my son and buying new from same place ( Ashley )..i have been in and out trying to decide what set I wanted. No pushy sales person. Greeted with a smile. After a few visits , today I decided. Closing went smooth and timely. I’m planning on buying the grandkids bedroom furniture from here in couple months. No issues with them at all fast friendly service.

The people in the store were excellent they help me do all my order they got all my furniture they did what needed to be done however I have been waiting 3 months for three Chester drawers and three nightstands and every time I have called their service department I get well it'll be 2 weeks it'll be 2 weeks needless to say I am totally aggravated with this situation I will probably never shop at Ashley again like I said nothing against the store but they're delivery process and the length of time that it takes to get your furniture is not right
The staff were phenomenal and very helpful. They wanted me to get the best deal, and made sure I got the best deal possible. I went to the Gonzales location and Mrs. Cindy was a true blessing. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants great furniture and an excellent deal.
I ordered a recliner and I was told it would be in in 2 to 3 weeks over 2 months ago. I received a delivery notice for Saturday between 5:30 and 8:30 which I confirmed the delivery. I called to double check the time and I was told my recliner wasn’t in. I tried calling the store but couldn’t get through to the Gonzales store. I ended up having to go to the store and I ended up canceling the order because they had no idea when I would be getting it. Everything in my house came from Ashley Furniture and I’ll never buy anything else from them!!! Definitely the worse service since Jay left!
DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE!!!! They all up in your nose when you’re trying to look and the second you buy they lose your number and don’t care about you!!!! I bought a sectional THEY said 4-6 weeks the corporate office says pieces are at the warehouse you go to get those pieces then BAM “you aren’t getting ANYTHING for 2 more months”! Can’t get a single person to talk to you!!!! Worst furniture company EVER!!! Do not buy from ASHLEY LYING FURNITURE STORE!!

They had the best products and the best prices. Our sales associate, Venice, was patient, knowledgeable, and helpful in every way. So instead of buying one recliner, we bought two!
UPDATE: I received my adjusted refund finally May 1, 2021 two or three days after one of my previous reviews that was erased. Two of my chairs were supposed to come Friday May 21,2021 but due to flooding on one of the exits they turned around when they could have went to the other exit that I’m about two minutes away from that didn’t have any water. Now today Tues May 25,2021 I call and someone tells me all four chairs won’t be available until June 29th. So I asked about the two that they were supposedly on their way with Friday but she knows nothing about that. This has been an ongoing situation since March 3,2021 when I was told I would have it by March 29,2021. Customer service is horrible Ashley Furniture do not communicate once you make a purchase you’re on your own. The store phone line stay busy or they won’t answer. I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!!!!!!! I’ve made purchases from ROOMS to GO and Comeaux Furniture in April 2021 and received a call and received my items. Ashley Furniture need to be shut down permanently!!!
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Took over 4 months to get our furniture. During the wait there was no communication from the store to us about the delay. We would contact the store almost weekly to get information about the order and could never reach an employee over the phone. We only found out about the shipping delays from visiting the store personally or calling the corporate number. I will never step foot back in this Ashley Furniture or any other Ashley store if this is their level of service.
Shopping in store was better than expected. Pleasant atmosphere, no pushy salesman. Placed order on Black Friday. The process did take well over an hour. My sectional sofa and swivel chair was set to be delivered the 1st week of February. Ok! I’m excited but will need to wait. I called at the end of that 1st week of February to inquire delivery status (3 mo. after order was placed). After I was on hold for 15 minutes, I hung up and called again selecting a different option, eventually speaking with someone in the middle of Mexico after waiting on hold for more than 20 minutes. A very nice and articulate person tells me he couldn’t find my order because my phone number wasn’t entered in their system. He went through several trial and errors to locate my order. Once located, he could not tell exactly where the furniture was located. He suggested I call the store and ask for my salesman. Long story-short, after many more calls and long hold times (that I initiated- Ashley has NEVER initiated a call to me) I finally got my sectional 3 weeks later. I still have a swivel rocker on back order that is set to come in the first week of April. I contacted the salesman via his personal phone to find out that he no long works there. Today is April 13th and once again I initiate the contact to get the status of my rocker. “Oh, ma’am that has been placed on back order set to come in the first week of June.” WHAT! Here we go again! I have paid hundred of dollars for a rocker that I can’t have for at least 9 months after placing the order! I don’t even remember what it looks like.
I have been to so many furniture stores in the last few months. Can not say thanks enough to Kevin Patrick. he was a very informative sale person. Very knowledgeable on the items that I have been looking for!! He gave me all the time I needed to walk around and look at the different items in the store. He also worked really hard to fit my budget. I would totally recommend him to anyone looking to buy any type of Furniture bedding etc.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We have been trying to get a refund from Ashley for two years now. We had a piece of furniture that broke. Since it couldn't be repaired, we went into the store to reselect new furniture using the insurance we had purchased. We financed the new furniture, but Ashley never gave us credit for the insurance amount. They didn't submit the correct paperwork for us to get the insurance credit. Thankfully the insurance company could see that we weren't at fault and honored the claim. Here it is two years later and the corporate office can see that we have the insurance balance on our account that they owe us but they say that the store issues refunds. When we call the store, nobody ever answers. EVER. We have gone into the store and talked to multiple managers who say that they have to send off a ticket and that someone will call us. We never get a call back.

Furniture was not delivered on delivery date. Delivery driver called and said he was 15 minutes away. He never showed up. I tried for 2 days to get in touch with someone in reference to my order only to be told they don't know where my furniture that I purchased is at and that it would have to be rescheduled for 2 weeks out for a new delivery. When asked for a refund I was told that it would take 14 days to refund my money. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE ANYTHING ASHLEY!!

For our initial delivery, the headboard and rails for bed set was missing from the delivery truck. We received another call for a second delivery, but had to reschedule due to weather conditions- completely understandable so we did. We scheduled another delivery for today to have the headboard and rails delivered; but the headboard was did incorrect (didn’t match), and the rails were damaged. Attempted to call the store during deliveries incidents, but no one answers the phone and we still have a product we cannot use.
Keeps rescheduling my bed set and lied about pricing, as me and my wife are highly upset we try and try to call but no answers. Never doing business with them again and I'm getting my money back for sure

This is the third sofa I've purchased from Ashley's. I have loved every one of them. The quality is excellent! So much so that I have been able to donate the sofas for another family to enjoy. My Dining Room furniture also came from Ashley's. I have had it several years now and it is still as beautiful as the day it was purchased. Oh! Don't get me started on the Sales Staff! They were so helping and welcoming! They treated me like family!
Would not recommend, they are quick to take your money for the sale, but reluctant to help afterwards. It has been like "pulling teeth" to get any information on my order. I've been told multiple different things in regards to the potential delivery date. Sales reps would not return my calls or texts. Buyer beware.

We were helped as soon as we entered store in Gonzales. After visiting several other stores we settled on some items here. When the original salesperson was unavailable we were gladly helped by the second to make our purchase. The second salesperson was evidently very experienced and had all questions answered and paperwork done in no time. We were told delivery will be in a month. Hopefully this holds true.

Store experience was fine. Delivery service is an ASOLUTE DISASTER. - Partial delivery of bedroom set. I cleared out all of my old furniture to accomodate only to be informed DURING THE DELIVERY that the bed was damaged in transit and would not be delivered. - Once bed came in, was un-satisfied with a platform base that I did not ask for - I specifically asked for a box spring. I requested an exchange and was denied by the rep on the phone due to passage of 48 hours where I had a foundation, but no bed. Salesman promised to fix this - and he honestly tried. - Multiple issues with the delivery company, DSG to accommodate this exchange for the box spring - deliveries cancelled the morning of....they just didn't show up...or they claimed they didn't get a confirmation. - I was informed by a rep on the phone that the item was at the distribution center and the delivery would be re-scheduled for days later. Realizing the ineptness of DSG...I took vacation from work and drove over an hour to the distribution center to resolve the matter myself, only to be informed that the item was still in Houston. - Generally bad service by the delivery crews throughout the whole experience. Every time they actually did show up, they would insist that the delivery was "touchless." They would then attempt to leave without assembling the furniture Completely disappointed in the customer service of this store especially regarding delivery. I was denied access to the manager to discuss this issue. If you are in the market for new furniture, I strongly implore you to search for a company that has it's affairs in order. Ashley Home Store does not.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER do business with Ashley HomeStore in Gonzales, LA!! ⚠️ It’s one thing to have terrible costumer service, but it’s even worse to not have any service at all. We ordered bedding + a mattress on Black Friday 2020 and were told we would have it all delivered before Christmas. 1) Our delivery date was pushed back several times with not a single update/phone call. 2) When everything FINALLY got delivered, they dropped everything off and left when they were supposed to build it for us bc that’s what we PAID for. 3) Everything except our mattress was delivered. 4) Called the store several times to address these issues and no one ever answered so my husband had to drive there and speak to them about it in person. 5) We discovered that our mattress, in fact, was never ordered AND no one was sent to our house to build the bedding, so thankfully we had some help from friends to build it on our own. 6) They BARELY did anything as a courtesy for the problems they gave us- basically just gave us a new date that the mattress would be delivered. 7) Just kidding bc that date was “just an automated email/text, it’s not always accurate” but you expect us to be home when it’s delivered?! When we both work opposite schedules? K. 8)) The new date that was given was incorrect (are we surprised?) and we were not informed (once again). 9) It is now January 18, almost 2 months later, we have a bed frame (that we built ourselves) collecting dust because we STILL don’t have a mattress!!! 🤬 They sent us another “automated” email/text saying it will be delivered Wednesday, but I guess we’ll just have to see... The sad part about all of this is that I was warned from the very beginning to not do business with this store for this exact reason and took the risk anyway and I was sadly mistaken. Idk how you can run a store and not even communicate with your customers when 50% of your business is delivering to people’s homes and you obviously need them to be present when you arrive. Not one person in the store could help my husband today and seemed like they had no idea what was going on. Everyone was clueless.. DO NOT step foot in their store unless you want a huge headache. I know we won’t be...
never come here. never order from here. I have a 5 year warranty on my couch i have a tear i need to get fixed i have been trying to contact them for months and once you order from them they take your money and will not help you after.

My wife and I purchased several thousand dollars of furniture in early 2020. After waiting several months for an ottoman to be delivered my wife canceled the order on August 30 2020. We never received our refund so my wife called a second time and was told the check was being resent. Here it is January 3 2021 and I just got off the phone and was told the refund will be resubmitted and it would take another 6-8 weeks. After 3 phone calls and hours of being on hold I have absolutely no faith that Ashley Furniture will ever refund my money. I am thoroughly disgusted with this entire ordeal and question the honesty and integrity of Ashley Furniture

I will never shop with Ashley Furniture again. This store is very unprofessional. My delivery date switched four times and I had to call them to find that out! Horrible communication and even worse delivery times. After the delivery day changed for the 4th time I canceled my order and still haven’t got my refund 3 weeks later.

Just canceled my order after the second fail delivery with no call they obviously don’t want or need my business so they can keep it I WILL NEVER step foot in an Ashley story again. After the first failed delivery with no phone call I was promised that it would be be delivered today and today same exact thing happened wife stayed home all day waiting for nothing. Called back and was told that they might be able to get it delivered by Friday no thanks keep it I’ll go to a local furniture store that actually values their customers I strongly suggest that you think twice to give Ashley our business
I have been waiting 3 weeks for my refund an I’m totally dissatisfied. I was given 3 delivery dates and still did t receive my daughters bedroom set. My child slept on the couch 2 weeks in result of this. I’ve been a customer of Ashley for numerous years an I’ve never been this disappointed with the service like i am now. After a few phone calls an 2 store visits I’m still waiting on my money to be put back into my account. I’m not pleased at all!

I visited both store today, BR had much more available help, had to search for help in Gonzales. Was disappointed to learn that the one chair I purchased today could take 8 to 12 weeks to receive. Furniture beautiful bit expensive, paying so much you would think it would arrive at a much more convenient time limit.
I seen a TV console on line.. I really don’t like buying on online without seeing the item. I called Ashley’s to see if the item was in the store. I was given Kevin as my sales person. He told me the item was in the store and it was cheaper than online. Kevin told me I should try and come in that night because it could be gone since it was on clearance. He gave me his cell number so that I could let him know if I would be coming in. Long story short I end up buying another item. I love Ashley furniture. I have several pieces in my home. Kevin was great.
Kevin is a fun & knowledgeable salesperson. He helped me pick out the prefect bedroom set for my little sister! The rest of the staff was helpful and energetic as well. I would definitely recommend shopping here because of the great customer service.
Update: 7 months later. Still nothing. Update: My table that we ordered in August was supposed to be delivered this Friday just got canceled. They canceled delivery because of the holidays. Ordered a couch last December. It came in broken and still has not been repaired. Ordered a table in August and still do not have it as of November 23rd. Went in to inquire today and when the manager saw we were upset he brushed us off for the service department to deal with. He never checked up. Good luck calling their service center. Its an average of a 45 minute wait to talk to someone. The only good thing I have to say about Ashley Furniture in Gonzales is about the ladies that work at the service desk. They are always polite and helpful and know how to defuse a frustrating situation. Its a good thing too because the manager really doesn't care. This will be my last purchase from Ashley.
The customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. DO NOT SHOP THERE!!! BRING YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. We bought a bedroom set. It was delivered in March and broken in June. We have called time after time again with no one ever returning our calls or coming to repair the damage. I spoke to someone again today and they said FROM THE PICS, it was caused by the customer and they cannot assist!!! This item is under warranty. Literally broken in 3 months and they will not stand behind their merchandise.

Purchased a bed for my daughter. Picked it up and got home to find assembly parts was missing. Spoke With a representative who ensured me they would ship it out! It&'s been two months and still haven&'t received parts to assemble my daughter&'s bed. No call to explain or anything. About to call Texas office again where they supposedly was shipping screws from!
Initially, the two male sales reps did not show any excitement about my walk-in business until I submitted an application and was approved for a line of credit. Then they started to perk up a bit.
When I went to purchase my couches in 2/2020, it was a great experience. Loved my sales person, she was professional, knowledgeable and never once pushed me. After she assured me that I would not have any hassles if I needed to make a claim, I did decide to buy the extra protection. Since this was the first time I was buying a fabric couch, I was nervous about rips or stains. However, a few months later, I noticed that the Castana sectional I bought was starting to lose resiliency and by August the chaise has collapsed. If you sit on it, you are tilting to one side and kinda stuck in it. Mind you, it is only me and my daughter so not many people sitting on the couches and not for long periods of time. Besides that, the zippers have broken on the back cushions, other seats are now losing resiliency and now the back of the couches are not as taught as they were.I went into the Gonzales store and went to look at the couch I bought and their sectional looks fantastic. Talking with the sales lady, I told her what the issue was and she was shocked. She said that hundreds of people sit on these couches and they still look great! She told me to head to the back to put in a claim. When I got back there not one person in the back even acknowledged me standing there. Yes, they were busy, but it doesn&'t take long to welcome me and tell me you would be right with me. After standing there for 10 minutes without anyone talking to me, I walked out.on 11/ 10/2020 I tried calling the store and after being on hold for over 30 minutes without ANYONE answering, I hung up.I tried for over THREE hours on 11/10/2020 to put in a claim I did so. The claim companies website is horrible and after another hour finally got someone on the phone. After talking to her for 30minutes she told me her system isn&'t working and she needed to call me back. She calls me back and after all of that tells me I am still under manufacturer warranty and I should call the store. I almost lost it at this point. I am literally on the phone now with the store and have been on hold for more than 10 minutes with no one to pick up the phone. I am over this couch and I am over this company. I really thought I was going to get amazing customer service and an amazing couch but this is ridiculous.

Their prices and payments plans are pretty reasonable and all of the sales ladies were very helpful. However, the delivery service/customer service is horrible!!! Our delivery date was rescheduled over 10 times (literally). They kept telling us that our furniture would be in on a day, and when we would call because it was not delivered, they would tell us that it wasn’t in. The communication/ delivery system needs to do way better!
Sales personnel were very polite and helpful. Order took a while due to the pandemic but it arrived in great condition. We love our new living room.

Sale experience was good but once our furniture came in NO ONE answers the phone or returns your calls. We had arranged to pick up our kitchen table that says on the website is open on Saturdays. We arrived and was told pickup isn't available on weekends. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! We called for days and days with no answer, left many voice-mail messages and nothing. Will NEVER purchase from Ashley Furniture again.

As stated in my previous review, I’m fighting with Ashley Gonzales store and warranty company. I was informed that I have no coverage. Well what the hell did I pay for. Staff took mask off when doing our order, asked wife if she was pregnant, very pushy towards furniture we stated was too expensive, sold wrong items, shamed is for buying mattress elsewhere, won&'t answer phone, took months for order to come in, came in multiple orders and now we are being inconvenienced by having to go to store to get order fixed. Seriously go elsewhere.

Ashley Furniture's customer service is at the bottom of the list....very bottom. After you make a purchase the staff ignores you. No delivery....delivery date is out the window...and no one will talk to the customer to give an explanation as to why or when you will receive your item. ONE MONTH ago .......

Service was awesome from the hello at the door to the goodbye at the end of service. Everybody was so kind and helpful. Everything was handled in a timely manner. I enjoyed the whole experience from shopping out on the floor to the finance dept. I will definitely recommend the Gonzales location to others and will be shopping there for all future purchases.
Horrible!!!! Ordered furniture that has yet to arrive. First date (scheduled delivery) was August 2, 2022. Still haven't received furniture. Called today (08/29/2022) and was given a new ARRIVAL date of September 02, 2022! Note, that's not the date they expect to deliver the furniture, that's the date they stated that the furniture MAY ARRIVE at their warehouse! After it arrive, then they will contact me for delivery!!!! I should have ordered that piece online since everything else I ordered (online) arrived when stated. HIGHLY AGGRIVATED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!! 10/24/2022- Furniture finally arrived but with missing items. Have been calling the store almost EVERYDAY and have yet to speak with a sales person!!!!!They do not answer the phones and when you press another prompt, those individuals are useless!!!! Had the nerve to tell me about their no return policy. Ok, you don’t have to come get the items (since some parts are missing) but don’t expect to get paid….AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! HORRIBLE

Updated again (9/15/20) it’s been 3 weeks since I was told I would receive a refund. I have called twice to follow up on it only to get no return call. It’s sad the poor service you get after they take your money. They sure didn’t wait 3 weeks to process my payment to them. Then I see the owners response who apparently doesn’t read these reviews or care if they do read them because I would assume I would have gotten an apology for the poor service. Very disappointed Original post - We had a great experience shopping today. Z was super helpful and really took time to help us find what we wanted. Definitely will be back Update: had to change my 5 star to a 1 star. Service all goes downhill after the sale. They are quick to process your payment but nothing after that point is quick. We made our purchase of two twin mattresses and a queen bed on 7/15/2020 and the mattresses we were told would take two weeks with the bed taking 6-8 weeks. Our first of 5 delivery times set up was 8/6 and then that got rescheduled to a couple weeks later and that one for a few weeks later she then that one for cancelled and rescheduled to 8/24 I believe. The night before the delivery a person from the delivery portion of Ashley called and told me the headboard for my order wouldn’t be in would I like to reschedule the whole delivery. I said no thanks as we had been waiting on the mattresses for over two months know (remember we were told two weeks for these). So, she left us on schedule to be delivered. Well, on delivery day no one ever showed up and I made a couple of calls to delivery center and no one there had any idea why we hadn’t received our order. They were going to check and call me back to which they never did. I called my sales person at the store and finally got in touch with her around 5 pm and she told me that they had received an email the night before my delivery that all deliveries were cancelled and that someone should have called me the night before. Well, the girl who called me the night before confirming that I did want my order delivered even though I wouldn’t have the headboard must not have been informed either. Seems only the salespeople at stores were but she didn’t call me either to let me know. So, she offered me a credit for the inconvenience to which I haven’t gotten yet (went by store yesterday and no one could help me other than my salesperson and she was out and is supposed to call me. The person who took my name and number told me that it normally takes 3 weeks for them to process refunds which is ridiculous. They don’t wait three weeks to process my payment on the front end of order) I did finally receive my headboard today as as scheduled on the 5th scheduled delivery date. The saving grace for my Ashley experience is the delivery guys. They were super nice and helpful. I was also upset because no one at delivery or prior to delivery could tell me when my missing headboard would be in. The delivery guys said my salesperson should call me. She didn’t. I had to call her. The other disappointing part to this is that I sent my daughter in shortly after to buy furniture for her new house based on my initial sales experience I am sure hoping I didn’t set her up for a bad experience when it’s time to get her furniture delivered. I love the furniture but not sure I can shop here again or recommend based on this experience. My order of two twin mattresses for our adjustable bed also came in not being the exact same so one is higher than the other which is disappointing. I’ll be waiting to see if I get my refund as I was told I would since it’s already been over a week. Wish I could have left my 5 star review as such but my experience after the initial sale didn’t warrant that

We ordered a bedroom set on June 29th and paid for it in full. Recieved a text stating delivery of all items will take place August 21st, my husband called and recieved verbal confirmation. No one called, no one showed up. We couldn&'t get in touch with anyone on the phone so I went to the store on the 22nd. The representative stated that 2 pieces would be in on the 27th so we scheduled delivery for August 29th. I called August 27th to confirm delivery to be told one item is backordered indefinitely, 1 item will be in September 5th and other items not until November. I went to the store again and while the manager and back office staff are extremely professional the corporate offices aren&'t worth your money or time. The corporate customer service reps are rude and seem to be bothered by helping people. If the warehouse can not deliver goods the company should not be accepting orders. What&'s worse is there is no communication so if you schedule delivery you are wasting a day sitting at home waiting for furniture that won&'t arrive. Terrible terrible customer service!!! We bought furniture and paid in full and was told it was a 6 week delay due to COVID which I had no problem with. I have been called 4 TIMES to change the delivery date and been pushed back 4 TIMES and customer service says they really have no idea when it will be delivered!!! I have bought furniture from Rooms to Go and Bassett and have never ever had such an awful experience!!! My advice is to take your business elsewhere!!!! Awful company!
Ordered a power lift recliner from store in Gonzales, Louisiana. After waiting 3 months for the chair we finally get it and after less than a month the power lift quit working and have had no luck getting anyone to assist with getting it fixed. Terrible experience and will not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone and have bought our last item from them. Still waiting on a return call for getting the warranty honored.

Terrible costumer service, they never return your calls and they surely don't care about their costumers. Just had to cancel an order for a queen bed frame, they pushed our delivery back 4 times, we were very patient and cooperate but enough is enough. We'll never be back here that for sure.
My girlfriend and I ordered a bed in early June we understood that it was going to be a little longer than usual due to the pandemic. Well we were told August 14 so we waited all day for it but it didn’t come, we got rescheduled for August 20th and no one can again. So after calling and trying to get in contact with the workers and salesman no one would return our calls, we went to the Ashley’s we bought it from and they acted like the didn’t care about us or our problem at all. After sitting there for a while they said August 28th so we’re still waiting. We wanted a sofa set also but totally not going here again after this experience. Overall Ashley’s doesn’t care about their customers at all! Next time we’ll definitely go else where.

This is the worst furniture store I have ever dealt with. Tried for 2 hours to talk to a person. The website shows store hours are 10 am to 8 pm. Just tried calling again and a recording stating the store is closed to call during store hours. They took my money and they have been putting off delivery for the past 4 months. I have lost 3 days of work waiting on delivery and no one shows up!!
Update: now they’ve stopped responding to my emails (Ashley corporate) and apparently the phone at the store is broken because nobody ever answers. Guess I’m just out my $1750 credit (that I paid for by getting the warranty) for the broken furniture I received 🤷🏻♀️ We are owed a warranty credit. We’ve been fighting for almost a year to try to get the credit owed to us. We’ve talked to MULTIPLE managers. No one seems to be able to get to the accounting department to figure out how to get us the credit. I have a very hard time getting through to them on the phone (update: I tried calling 17 times on Friday and 6 times so far today with no answer). We’ve even spent HOURS in store trying to get it resolved. We’ve received our replacement couches that were torn upon delivery but we can’t seem to get that resolved either. We were overcharged for a piece that was removed from our order. Still haven’t gotten credit for that even though I got an email that it was to be “delivered”. We’ve bought a good bit of furniture over the years but I 100% do not recommend them now.
I began shopping for a sofa in mid-March at the Vernon Hills, IL location. Upon relocating to Louisiana, I placed an order for my desired item at the end of June. It was to have been delivered both July 7 and 14, but the distribution center suffered multiple miscommunications. When I called "Zee," the manager who'd help me place my order at this store, she forthrightly informed me my item wouldn't make it before Sept./Oct. She helped me find another item that could arrive sooner. I am still awaiting my purchase but am more eagerly anticipating it than my initial selection. Zee was so honest and helpful in locating available items and offering deals to make them more affordable.

I purchased a bed and adjustable base at the end of May. Immediately after I saw a cheaper price at Mattress Firm. I called my salesperson Roni and when she called me back and found out about me wanting a price adjustment she acted like she was too busy but said she would call me back. She did not so I went into the store. The store manager acted like she could not match the price for the adjustable bas even though Ashley has a policy to either have the lower price or it’s free. She took some money off but it still wasn’t the cheapest price. I contacted the BBB. Through corporate they matched the price for the base, but there was also a promotion called “Ashley Cares Relief Program”. When I contacted the store Crystal said I had been given this program which was 3 months worth of payments in a MasterCard. She gave me a number to verify, I called and they had no record of it on my account. I spoke with crystal again and she said she would call me back (that was at least 7 days ago). I have received no call backs and no one answers. I feel like I am being punished because Ashley had to honor their policy to match the price. I have made several large purchases at the Gonzales location, but will not be going back because they do not care about the customers or policies.

My family purchased a recliner for a Father's Day present. We have been shopping for the last two days for a chair that fit our living room, and Ashley Furniture provided us the most options in budget. The store manager,Ms.Linda, was the perfect example of professional, friendly, and competent. The service she provided was impeccable. If you need guidance for furniture options ask for Ms.Linda. She is amazing.
Just like a previous customer Stephen I feel exactly the same way. It started back when I went in to purchase a bedroom set I wasn't greeted properly at all. I was also told that I would receive the discount that was available that day which I paided half of the bedroom set that day. Due to my bank limit o had to come back the next day when I then noticed the discount wasn't on my purchase so it was a extra $1,100 I was charged. This was paided in full on 5/29/20 and delivery dsre for today, well I never received a call on delivery confirmation at all which is unacceptable from a company that didn't have to ask twice for my money for my items I purchased. And calling in to check on delivery is terrible as well. My wife went to the store and they then said they don't know what's wrong with the phones but im like ok why no one called no notify me that my items will be delivered in a later date. You don't do business like that and yes i understand where we stand today with the pandemic and all but still reach out to your customers and let them know whats going on. You dolidnt have to run behind me about getting your money at all. This store is just awful and need immediate changes as you can see its not just me that feel this way. So now I have to sleep on a mattress until my bedroom set arrives and I will be in the store to see about getting accommodation for something besides reimbursing me the delivery cost. Thats not enough for me.

Kevin was EXTREMELY helpful with making it possible for my husband and I to purchase an elegant bedroom set for our new home!! He went well above and beyond to address all of our needs and concerns!! We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our new set and will definitely refer to him for future furniture purchases. :)
I’ve been trying to get a hold of customer service for almost a week. I left multiple voicemails and no called back. I went online and waited many hours in the chat and no one responded. I tried to change my delivery date from July 30th to August 10th by plugging my sales order number in and it says order not found. I don’t move in to my apartment until August 10th which is why I want to change my delivery date. It’s June 16th and furniture is already being shipped even when I wanted it to be shipped on July 30th at-least. Now I don’t know where I will put my furniture at because I won’t be moving in to my apartment until August. I wish I could’ve taken my business elsewhere due to the lack of help and very unprofessional service. Maybe me posting a terrible review online will finally get their attention🤷

Terrible experience. Confident they spin a little wheel to give you a new delivery date when you call in after their “confirmed” delivery date came and went. Consider yourself lucky to have the phone answered when you call, and your expectations are too high if you think you’ll get a proactive phone call about anything.

This has been a terrible experience which is not over yet. I purchased a sectional on May 9, and surprisingly, was promised the items would be available for pick up one week later. Not having a truck, I made arrangements for my father to drive an hour to help me pick up this product. No one called me on the pick up date, so I called your store with no answer after several attempts; I found an 866# who advised that the pieces were on "transfer." Since then, I've been given 5 different dates. No one has ever dialed out to me, I am having to initiate every contact on every missed date. I have cleared my schedule 5 times and made pick up arrangements 3 times to get this furniture after receiving confirmation texts and emails that the furniture is scheduled. After several missed attempts, your company agreed to deliver instead of pick up. Those delivery dates also came and went with no delivery and no call. I visited your store, who promised callback expectations that were missed; I had to call into the store again. No one ever answers the store due to being short handed and was advised I have to hope someone is near the phone to answer. In the last 48 hours I've been told the items would get here next week (June 10) to now July 27. You took my money. You never call or call back. You promise dates and don't follow through. You are missing using the word "confirmed" as in "your scheduled delivery is confirmed for 10:30-1:30 on May 26". I understand delays. I get there are crazy things happening in our economy. That's no excuse for having to beg for a response, for the customer to have to do the work, or for your representatives to give different information and pass the buck to someone else (the call center, the DC, the store, the ER ticket, the ship to/ship from coding, etc.) every. single. time. I ordered a bedroom set in February 2020 from this store in Gonzales. My delivery was set for mid March. On the first delivery attempt, they called the night before and said two pieces were back ordered and asked if it would be okay to wait and deliver everything at once—I said sure. When they showed up days later, they only delivered bed rails—no bed or any other furniture. I received an email the night before stating to clear out all of my old furniture—I was left with nothing to sleep on! It is now almost June and 7 delivery attempts later. I still don’t have my complete bedroom set. The store also said I shouldn’t have agreed to wait to receive my set as a whole because they gave it to the next customer waiting. They won’t let me cancel my order without paying a 10% restocking fee. When I did finally receive the actual bed, the delivery guys left all of the cardboard trash and packing shoved underneath the bed for me to clean. This whole experience has been a nightmare and customer service hasn’t helped.
We have been in the store many times, but today we purchased for the first time. Ashley offers excellent products with many options and a great sales staff to help along the way.

Extremely poor service. Ordered a sectional and it took 10 days to deliver. Delivered with a broken chaise. Rescheduled delivery of the unbroken piece 3 times!!!!! I STILL DON’T HAVE THE CHAISE. Today they had me scheduled and called me 2 hours into my window to say a driver tested positive for the virus! Yea right!!! I will NEVER do business with this company again.

The ordering and sales process was easy and smooth . I am having problems getting delivery set up. I received a phone call from a very rude and confrontational person that basically told me it’s my problem and didn’t offer any real help on trying to figure it out. This person assured me 5-6 times during the phone call that my furniture was being delivered (she called me at 7pm on a Friday telling me it was out for delivery). It’s Monday, still no furniture and still no phone call. Edit 2/20/2020: I emailed you as requested nearly 3 weeks ago and have not received a response to date. I also have 2/3 of my sectional sofa after 3 scheduled delivers. One delivery had items and one the truck showed up with no items on the truck. This is beyond frustrating at this point. I am clearly at your mercy and convenience of poor execution of delivery. Edit 3/5: after 4 attempted deliveries, I finally got all pieces of my sectional sofa. The last piece was delivered in a broken condition. I had to take pics (below) and call customer service to have that last piece of sectional removed and get a new one. So after nearly a month of deliveries, I finally have a new sectional.

I would never recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. I am having the worst experience with this company. I purchased furniture for my elderly parents and it’s a nightmare. When the dining table arrived there was a gap in the middle of it. The delivery guys told my dad they could not take it back- stating it was policy. Really?? You see there is a manufacturer issue and they still left it there. Also, I got a call from the warehouse that not all the items purchased would be delivered as promised during the sale- a week or two before delivery. Beds for my parents would not be delivered. I will be calling tomorrow to cancel my order of the beds and see what they plan to do with the dining room table. Disgusted!! Baton Rouge Store on Airline Highway
Paid for my sofa on Feb.1....was suppose to be delivered Feb11, then the 15th,then the 19th,then the 25th,then March 3rd,now March 11th.....still having to use kitchen chairs to watch tv....will NEVER shop here again and will let everyone know possible....Rooms to go from here on out

I’ve been waiting three months for my twin complete bedroom set. I contacted and gone into the store with nothing but apologies.
Once they get your moneyy forget anything resembling customer service. I was literally told "all we are here for is sales and finance once we do that we cant do anything else. We were told our furniture would take approx a week to be delivered. Once we paid we were told it would be more like 3 weeks. When that long awaited day came they didnt have the all the parts to the sectional and 3 of the 5 were broken. They assured they would get the items replaced ASAP. Now they have atleast 2 more deliveries they are having to do. Dont be fooled by the nice people in the store. Once they get your money the only help they will give is an 800 number to call that no one answers. Complete joke.

Ordered a couch from them January 2. I scheduled to pick it up from the warehouse tentatively January 10. January 10 came and went, no phone call. I called and they said it would be ready January 28. January 28 came and went, no phone call. I called and they said half the couch was there and half would be ready February 4. I asked why the disparity in the dates. Ashley Customer service said stores have been told not to give dates. I called to cancel my order and had to speak with the store manager. They offered free delivery February 4. I said it was already going to be free because I was going to pick it up! They then put me on hold for 10 minutes. Upon return said they would cancel. They have lost me as a customer for life.
Ordered $12,000 worth of furniture on Nov. 8th 2019 and it has been a nightmare!!! Countless of confirmed delivery dates that were canceled without notice so I missed work for nothing!!! My table was on back order but promised that I would have it before Thanksgiving... I received my 3rd damaged table today!!! And to top it off my 2nd payment is due for something I don’t have! My bed still doesn’t have the proper hardware! Would not recommend them to anyone else... my fee and mother in law had the same experience!!! Just horrible
Went in for bed and living room set. Was instantly greeted and right away someone was by my side to guide me.I had my 4 mth old with me and everyone was friendly and accommodating to us. We got what we wanted for the price we hoped for and better. Thanks for great service guys ellen kevin barbara

My husband and I had a great experience today at Ashley's furniture. We were helped by Ms. Dee and she was awesome to work with. She gave us plenty of space and didn't hover over us. It allowed us to comfortably shop around and make our decisions privately. We found a comfortable couch we cant wait to have delivered.

Horrible service due to false/incorrect information given to us (the customer). Ordered a couch Saturday and it was promised to be delivered within 2 1/2 weeks and low and behold it cant be delivered till a whole month after that date that was promised. Then try and make the customer pay a cancellation fee when the order wasn't even as promised. Would just turn the other way when even seeing the name of this store folks, cause it'll give you high blood pressure quickly.

This ordeal began in September while shopping in the Gonzales store. I selected some furniture pieces and asked when would the pieces be available for pickup. The sales person told me September 30th. Needing the furniture by October 4th, she assured me the furniture was at a warehouse in Baton Rouge. She said she would call me Monday to confirm pickup day and time. Monday came, no call. Tuesday came, no call. I tried calling several times but was unable to get through. Finally I decided to return to the store to speak with someone in person and that is when I was told they were having problems with the phone because of the new owners. When I asked about my pickup date, they couldn't tell me because they were having computer problems because of the new ownership. The 30th comes and goes, no furniture. After a few more failed attempts, I was finally told the furniture was not in the state. In the end, it took 2 months, several unanswered calls, one unanswered facebook message, and 4 visits to the store to get a refund.
Honestly, will never even think of stepping foot in this store again. Terrible service, went on a Friday around lunch. Not too busy, but still had 4 different associates we found to ask for help. All said they would &"be right back.&" Never seen them again. 3 of the 4 different associates told me different information on the chairs I wanted. fast forward- I purchase the chairs and opt for pick up- which they said DO NOT call the distribution center- just go and they will be there on Dec 3. I called Dec 2 to confirm- they tell me the new date of Dec 14 then Dec 17 and now Jan 3.They STILL are not available to pick up and no one has called me to let me know anything. I&'ve called each time to get an update before I drive the 40ish minutes to pick them up and them not be there. No communication whatsoever. Terrible service & I will never even think about purchasing anything &"Ashley Furniture&" again. All they do is give the run around with no real answers even when the chairs have been paid for since Nov. 29.
Shopping was a breeze. Ms. Dee was great. I went in knowing what I wanted to purchase. Set up delivery date and time only to get a call the morning of delivery saying only my bed railings was available for delivery. I read the reviews and hoped tht there wouldn't be any issues with my delivery. I was wrong. You really lose faith in companies when things like this happen. I could see if it was only 2 or 3 customers, but it wasn't. Now I'm on the list too. There was a dresser that went with my bed, but I'm scared to order it now.
Friendly staff in Gonzales , lady that helped us knew where everything we asked for was, very professional, not like the location on airline hwy in Baton Rouge, no one there greeted us at the door they just sat at their deaths playing with there cell phones
Several weeks ago I purchased 2 beds with night stands for my sons along with a new couch. Today was the delivery day. They showed up with only 1 bed and it was not even the correct bed. The other bed was on back order and so was the sofa. Never got any communication about that. Come to find out the sale person Shawanda actually ordered the wrong beds!!! Very frustrating since I made 2 trips in to the store to work with her. How is it acceptable to never get any type of communication saying what I ordered was on back order. I got rid of the old beds and old sofa before the new stuff got here today. So now my kids will sleep on a mattress on the floor and we will sit on the floor in the living room. Thanks for your pathetic customer service Ashley Furniture. I should have known better than to buy anything from you. I have never had a good experience with Ashley Furniture. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!
I have been trying to get my bedroom furniture delivered since Oct. I ordered the furniture and paid for the furniture (I will never pay cash again) in Sept. Seven attempts later and they still have yet to deliver my furniture without damage. Is there no quality control in this company? Every time you call the store you are on hold for 45 mins or more only to be told we have new owners and that is the problem.
Customer Service during purchase is good but once you make a purchase it is down hill from that point. The Customer Service Department is zero help. Delivery is a joke. It has been over 3 weeks and I still have not gotten my furniture and cannot get anyone on the phone. The number is always busy or no one answers or they keep you on hold for a very long time.
They told me 1 delivery date at the time of purchase. Then rescheduled with no notice. So I sold my old bed and had nothing for over a week. Then when the day came for the bed to come. There was no foundation to my bad. So again. No usable bed. They have been dishonest since my purchase. So here we are Thanksgiving week. Family in town and no bed. Terrible. This will be my last purchase from them. Which is sad because I’m my lifetime I have spent at least $50,000 in their store. No more!
The first time I dealt with this place was a headache. They delayed my delivery 4 times. Not the store itself but the contractors they have delivering things. So I went back to return what I bought and get something different. And Kevin is the guy to talk to. He has been a HIGE help and has stopped at nothing to make sure I was satisfied with every aspect of my purchase.
I will never buy from Ashley's again. I purchased a couch, recliner, and what was supposed to be an ottoman back in September. I was told it would be delivered in at most 2 weeks. In the time I realized the seller never added the ottoman so I went to add it to my order. At this time I have been waiting over a month for my new furniture, with having nothing to sit on at my house. My kids and pregnant wife had nothing to sit on for over a month. Ashley's kept changing the date of delivery and then finally straight up told me that they don't have my couches and it won't be delivered until November. My couches have finally been delivered the DAY AFTER my child was born. Still no ottoman though. I went to the store and they told me they would deliver it for free for me. I never got any word after that and decided to call today. I have been placed on hold for 45 minutes now. Again I will say it, I will never buy from Ashley's ever again.
I purchased the Wilcox sectional my sofa was untapped and dirty the pillows was lumpy I could never reach customer service and leave a voice message it always says the box is full goes into the Harahan Louisiana store spoke with the manager by the name of Trish stated she does not deal with complaints to go to customer service because they are in transition of new management and the managers are no longer responsible for customer complaints brings my complaints and photos to customer service the young lady in the back was excellent and understood my concerns she took the photos and pass it on to the necessary department it has been several weeks to months before and have not heard an response of resolving my complaint the quality of the furniture is poor I have always brought furniture from Ashley my furniture has lasted for 14 years I was purchasing a new living room set and very dis-satisfied When we sit down the springs are making an loud sound this furniture has not been in my home for more then 3 months we are not heavy people and then I get on the phone today with Shannon who says she is the manager of escalated department I guess the complaints and say that I would never ever speak to the regional manager or the CEO and that they cannot keep switching out furniture‘s because I was in the hospital how inconsiderate very disheartening very disappointed for someone to say who sick I am not asking for in hand out I am asking for it to get corrected my furniture it was paid in cash info but it doesn’t matter is my furniture and is poorly constructed
Worst experience. They double charge for furniture and can’t even refund without taking days to get permission from corporate approval. So far 4 days and no progress. Gonzales, La store.
This store is horrible. They lied about delivery of my items 5 times. I have been dealing with this since August and still dont have my items and it's almost November. But I'm getting charged for it and have paid cash for another item I dont have. I'm sick of this store not giving me my purchase. I will shop at Havertys furniture store from now on. I hate Ashley's. I also wrote to better business bureau about this matter. Someone need to do something about this.They dont want corporate office or home office to find out I will contact them next.

Purchased a couch from Ashley Gonzalez. Came with 2 cushions missing. Still waiting for cushions lots of hassle to get them. Purchased a double recliner. Legs will not go down unless you are in very good shape. No lever to lower legs. I have to fight with furniture daily. Have asked for help. Man came to give me directions . Because there is no lever to lower legs the man said to "dig my heels in the bottom" of chair and try to lower legs. Unable to do. He said he could see there is a problem with chair and said he would put this on ticket and someone would call me back. Nobody called me back. Asked to speak with manager 4 times never available never call back Called La. Ashley corporate office. Got a voice mail to leave name and number but could not as "mailbox full. Called National corporate office got someone who took down info. Is to call me back. Lets just say I'm a little stressed when I should be happy.
Bought a sofa set today for a great price. Upon pickup noticed 1 piece had some damage. Sales manager Mary, who is also incredibly gourgeous, helped us resolve the issue without no hassle. Definitely will return to this store for future purchases...

This is my second times buying from them this year. One this particular visit I knew exactly want I wanted I just needed an associate. It was very busy and it took me about 5 to 10 minutes before anyone asked if we needed help. Once we got the help, we were able to purchase exactly what we wanted and they matched the online price. Overall it was a good experience.
Kevin gave me FABULOUS customer service! He helped me choose the best couch in the store. Even helped me pick out my kitchen table and a new mattress which was soooooo comfortable and soft!!! Even threw in a free pillow, if you’re looking for good furniture ask for Kevin!
Kevin treated me with full respect. My first time coming was a horrible experience, but I came with my sister with no intention in buying. Kevin was so wonderful that I bought a mattress from him! After purchase and having receipt of purchase that have a detailed description of the items I looked up the items online. Note that I did ask for the details before purchase and was told that the computer was down. Anyway after adding up the price, the online price was $2530.55 and the in store price was $3399.40, .difference of $868.85. This is b4 tax, and delivery charges. Store delivery $169 online max for my area $350, however I would have gotten free white glove delivery. $1037.85 is the difference w/delivery charges. There’s more I can say but I’ll just stop here.
This is my second trip to my local alley furniture. This is also the second time I took my money and purchased somewhere else. This time I found what I wanted looking online and then went to the store. Two totally different prices. Buy more then a hundred dollars. This seems extreme to me first of all. I might would have went ahead and purchased it because with delivery and taxes the price would have been very close.(only I would have taken on home myself) But the sales reps wasn't very friendly. And the idea of giving that commission to her or even the few I passed on the floor. Just not a very un judgmental place.
Ordered a kitchen table through Ashley Furniture and never received a call that my order had arrived in store. I called to check on my order and they informed me that the table was at the store ready for pickup. We showed up at 5:10pm only to be informed that the warehouse closed at 5 and there was nothing they could do to get the table to us today. So now, I have $1,000 table sitting at the store that I can’t get because they didn’t have “a key” to the warehouse because I showed up 10 minutes after the warehouse had closed. No one even tried to help. Bad, bad customer service.

When we first made our order with Ashley Furniture it was a pleasant process. We found a great deal on a very nice bedroom set. Upon ordering we were told it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. Not the best but we understood. We paid for the additional delivery set up charge after being told that everything has to be assembled. Cool, no problem. When the bed was delivered we realized that the only thing that had to be assembled was the bed, knowing this prior we would have just went and picked everything up had we known that and not have to wait for the delivery trucks for over a week to come to our home. After the bed was put together we realized that it was the wrong size. We ordered a king, instead they brought a Cali king. When speaking to the sale rep they told us that it could easily be converted to the king. Well, they were wrong, they called back and said that it was indeed the wrong one delivered. So, the delivery guys leave, bed assembled, mattress doesn’t fit and now I have a broken down bed frame in my bedroom completely in the way. Ashley furniture then states that they will give us a $100 credit for their mess up. But wait, in order for us to get our correct frame they are going to use that $100 credit to place the order for the CORRECT frame. Not only did we pay for installation in the beginning, but my husband had to disassemble the bed so we could lay our mattress on the floor. So basically we paid for a service that was pointless. In other words, Ashley Furniture Gonzales doesn’t know what the hell they are doing and they are out here charging people for their mess ups and expecting people to just be okay with it. We will never purchase another item from Ashley Furniture ever again. Absolutely the worst experience we’ve ever dealt with from a company. If you are smart, go spend your HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!

My man Kevin! Best salesman I’ve had.. he was so good in fact that I bought extra just because dealing with him was such a pleasant experience. Y’all ask for him when y’all go in. He made our day. That said we’ve been to all the big furniture stores in the area and these people were the best to deal with. Their prices are great, good quality furniture, and the ability to mix and match pieces was a relief from these stores that push packages. Our only bad experience was in financing. The lady who was helping us seemed to be in training which was fine and she was great! However the lady training her had a very bad attitude with her and towards us, and had it not been for Kevin being such an awesome salesman and us wanting our sale to go to him we would have walked out right then and there. Front of house 5 stars, finance department needs a little work, but overall great experience

Bought recliner off the floor. Beautiful leather recliner. But over priced. My fault for not insisting on better deal but what really got me it only took 15 min to purchase and 1.5 to get loaded. Took my money, said drive around to back. No one came to door. Finally hubby went to the door and 5 guys laughing and cutting up(fine but check on your customer, right) having grand time while we sit in the cold waiting. Wasn’t until I called front seat twice that filly they came with the chair. They were going to throw a new chair in the back of our truck. Hubby had to tell Then to wrap it so another 15 min. Then they handed us the cords unwrapped and tangled and forgot the battery pack. BIG COMMOTION. Ridiculous how once they get your money, your immediately on your own. Got the chair home and three nicks. Again our fault for not demanding a full look at as it was loaded and a greater percentage off.
I had to approach someone for help and she was in such a rush to get to the next customer that she initially put in the wrong order for my furniture 2 times. Plus no one contacted me to update me about the purchase. I was not pleased with the service other than the finance lady who made sure I had the correct furniture. Had it not been for her, I would have cancelled my order.
