Transaction went very smoothly. If you’re going to Ashley’s looking for a salesmen ask for Scherod. Great salesman for sure! I will be back.

The salesperson was great in helping me review choices and the final sale was simple. The delivery was perfect with following the delivery stops on the app. Quick call before they arrived. Installation was clean and quiick. Delivery material was quickly disposed of. They told me to inspect the couch for any defects or issues because I had the right to refuse delivery if there was a problem. There was no problem and was satisfied with everything. My only complaint was the scheduling of the delivery. All was done through the Ashley app. I was told by the salesperson that I would receive a text and email prior to the delivery date. When I received nothing the day before, I called and was transferred to a call center. Instead of delivery the next day (a Saturday), it had been rescheduled to the following week on a Wednesday without any notification. I was able to reschedule to the following Saturday. Received texts and email to prompt me on the time window, where the driver was on rote, etc. Please be proactive if you don't receive timely notifications.

Manager would not help with negotiation on the price and stock was not available! Sales team was helpful.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY!!!!! If I could give zero stars I could. We spent $3000 on our couch, plus almost $300 for delivery. Not only did they deliver the couch damaged, but when we had to wait two weeks to get a replacement, they brought the SAME exact piece with the damage. When I asked for compensation for the inconvenience of having a broken couch for over a month, I was told I would receive a call back. Never did. Called back. Same story. When I called for the 4th time, they told me they would give me $45. When I said I would like at least the delivery charge refunded, Mark from customer service told me that it is “not acceptable” and that I’m “wrong” for asking that. He kept speaking over me so I could not speak. From other reviews, I can see that delivery and customer service is a problem. I wish I read them before I purchased. I don’t know if they’re running some kind of scam by delivering broken pieces and hoping the customer won’t notice, but I will never be ordering from Ashley again if this is not resolved quickly and fairly.

Our experience was great. Shonte was great! She helped us choose a piece that was perfect for us. She also introduced us to options that we will be looking at in the future in terms of bedroom furniture. We are truly appreciative!

George Miller explained throughly the details of the two sectionals that I was looking at for my home. He also gave tidbits on how to care for and keep the sofa in good condition. I would recommend Ashley and their staff to friends and family.

Shontè and Evangeline were great. We were unsure about proceeding with the sofa set but we sat down and I’m glad my boyfriend and I did because now we’re walking away with a product we really really loved, and with a great price. Definitely coming back for that mattress sista!

Horrible! All delivery information was incorrect m. Which caused delivery delay for a week. Store manager/salesperson did not to help. I have never seen customer service like this. Will not return.

I wish I could give zero stars. The whole process has been a nightmare with no resolutions. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! I originally ordered a couch that was unable to be delivered. Delivery guys said it was off by less than an inch. I gave them suggestions on how to move the couch but they did nothing, they only tried one way and gave up. I personally think due to the stairs and weight of the sleeper sofa they just didn’t want to be bothered. Fine. I refused order and went back to Ashley to order a smaller couch. Was told by Ashley sales since I am ordering a new couch I would be refunded the $2600 for the sleeper sofa. This was 1.5 months ago with hundreds of phones calls but I still have not been refunded. I get texts every other day to set up a delivery for this couch. Now for the even bigger issue. I ordered a Modmax sectional couch to avoid issues with getting it inside the house. The delivery guys basically dragged the furniture up into the house, ripping the protective plastic. I asked them to wash their hands before assembling since the couch was white, they ignored me. Once put together the couch was covered in marks and looked filthy. I also noticed there was no hardware to connect the sectional pieces. It’s just a bunch of separate furniture pieces that slide away from each other when u sit on them. I told the delivery guys I was gonna refuse the order. I called Ashley corporate and they talked me into keeping it. They said they will send a technician out to clean the couches and gave suggestions on what to use to keep couches from sliding-they apologized for the sales person not telling me these couches do not connect.The technician appt to clean couches was made 4 times, the morning of each appt Ashely would cancel it and reschedule. Finally a appt was made where the technician showed up- 2hrs after the time window. He showed up with a can of car upholstery spray. I was shocked. I assumed they were gonna stream clean the couch. Nope. He assured me this does the trick. After a hour with the spots still not removed from this supposed high performance couch fabric, the technician said he has to order me new couch cushions and new arm for my chaise. Beyond defeated and no longer able to return the couch I’m just going along for the ride. 25 phones calls to corporate - no replacements have been ordered. Every call to them is starting from square one- no notes. They just tell me to TEXT the warranty claims Dept- no live agents to explain what’s going on. I go through the same song dance whenever I have the spare time to deal with it and get no where. Basically I’m stuck with the couch and have to pay to have it professionally cleaned. I can’t install hardware to connect the couches as it will void the warranty. Still no refund on the original couch. I will never buy from them again and I will warn anyone that ever mentions Ashley’s name. Insanity.

Terrible experience. Furniture was not cheap, then delivered incomplete and took around 2 months before it was sorted while I had family sleeping on the floor. Only after multiple subsequent deliveries where crews showed up with missing and wrong parts, 30+ hours of calls to customer support, and 7 unreturned calls from supervisors who promised they would contact me and make things right dod I get to this point. After all that the furniture feels shoddy. Dresser drawers won't stay shut and rattle, finish on the outsides are rough and uneven. Went back to this location to talk to a manager. A table full of employees lied and told me there was no manager before one magically appeared. That guy was completely unsympathetic and basically told me they already had my money and it wasn't his problem. Go literally anywhere else for your furniture. Multiple employees I spoke to even said they would never buy from Ashley. Edit: I have spent with no exaggeration a full work week on the phone with the number offered in the reply to this message. 80% of that time is listening to hold music, 19% is confirmation of the case details they have on file, and 1% has been empty promises of return calls from supervisors who are never heard from again.

We found a recliner for my wife with the help of George, our sales associate. The chair we found was what my wife was looking for and got a good price. It is scheduled to be delivered in about a week and a half, at the point we’ll get a better idea on the chair. But the purchase went well and easy. Thank you, George.

George was not only knowledgeable and friendly but was very patient with us since we weren't entirely sure what we wanted in new den furniture. Decided on a very nice recliner sofa and two rocker recliners in blue leather.

Walked in. Picked our recliners, Negotiated the price for two double theater recliner, paid for them, walked out in 20 minutes, all transactions complete. Our sales person was polite, informative and to the point as we suggested. Waiting on the expected on time delivery.😀

I had a very pleasant experience with Shonté. She was patient and ensured that I got the best deal financially. In addition, I received white glove delivery the same week!

My original order was miss keyed. Had to go back to store to order missed items. Delivery of missed items, they only dropped inside the door. Hardware missing. Called customer care and got the run around twice. Still waiting on a manager to call. No respect for my time. I'm returning both orders and will never shop at Ashley again. Called number in response. No answer. Called CS again. Was told I needed to file a claim. The claim will take 48 hours for a response and then 10 days to receive the missing parts after they order them. Only offered 10% discount for all the troubles and lack of care for customers. Do Not Shop at Ashley!!!

Editing my review to one star from five. They will assure you everything is great in the beginning and there is no follow through. On my move in date there was no delivery scheduled even though the paper I signed said it would be delivered October 7th. I’m moving two states over and now I have no furniture. I placed the order one day, and the next day I went to change something because I felt I was getting more than I needed, and maybe that caused the issue but no one said anything. They just reassured me it would be there. Who knows what caused the issue but this is unacceptable. Never going to Ashley Homestore for anything ever again.

Was a bit skeptical after looking at the reviews, but my experience was excellent. Alexis was helpful and guided us into buying a love seat and a couch. Delivery was quick and on time, took them less than 10 minutes to assemble it all.

From the moment I walked into the Harahan Ashley’s, Tevin and his team were extremely welcoming. Tevin is the one who personally helped me, and I can’t say enough about how amazing he was. I explained exactly what I was looking for since my bedroom is already fully furnished with Ashley’s pieces, and I needed a dresser to match. Tevin listened carefully and went above and beyond not only finding the perfect dresser but also showing me other beautiful items I know I’ll be back to purchase soon. The entire experience was smooth sailing, from the customer service in-store to the delivery process. Tevin is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about making sure you’re satisfied. The whole Harahan Ashley’s team was kind, attentive, and deserves a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend asking for Tevin when you go you won’t be disappointed!

Too pushy on sales- couldn’t even have time to talk things out with my spouse to figure out what we wanted without being interrupted every 2-3 min by sales, deals, mattresses, or just to chit with a salesperson. Talk to me once when I walk in then let me shop in peace.

From the time we walked into the store we were greeted politely. Our sales person Michael wasn't pushy at all. He stood back and allowed us to browse the store, but close enough to answer all of our questions. The store manager, (unfortunately I forgot his name, but begins with a T) unlike most store manager walked the store to make sure the sales people were doing everything to make the customers happy. Satisfied we were!

The recliner I purchased 10 months ago has spent more time being broken & repaired & then broken again than it has been used. The claims department is run by people who read from a book for procedure & do not deviate from it whatsoever. After waiting 2 months for one part to come in, they canceled my appointment with the technician without my consent because they needed to order more parts for something that wasn’t even in my claim description. There was no getting my appointment back. I had to reschedule & wait longer to have my recliner repaired. Once the technician finally made it out to my house, he said he could repair the recliner without using any of the parts. He thought he repaired it & threw the parts in my dumpster. The recliner is in the same exact state that it was in since it broke. He did nothing to repair it. I now have to wait another 3 months for the parts to be ordered again & schedule another technician. I will never purchase a single item from Ashley Furniture again & I will stronger recommend to anyone who will listen to me to never use them either. There has been no customer service whatsoever. When I voiced my frustrations, not even an apology. I couldn't even speak to a supervisor. The girl that was helping me was instant messaging her supervisor relaying my concerns & her responses back & forth. How efficient. Thanks for the longest 10 months of headache of my life.

I am here to take away the 5 stars I gave because of bad delivery services. My order was supposed to be delivered yesterday between the hours of 11-2:30 pm. That time got pushed back and continued to get pushed back. 9 pm came, and still no order. Then, to add to this, my order said delivered. When and where! Lies Lies and more Lies! Received via text around 9:30 pm. stating that they ran into a problem but were still coming (if I like). Unbelievable! Only for 10 pm to get here saying they can't make it and my order will be here 1st thing in the morning between 7-8am. Here it is 8:30 and my order still hasn't arrived. I had to miss a days work because of the inconsiderate and their un professionalism.

My sales associate was very nice and helpful. Didn’t buy because the same item has three different prices. One for 6 hundred something, , one for 5 hundred something and one for 3 hundred something. Fuzzy math. The sales associate was the good part of it.

I called the Ashley Home Store yesterday to see if they had a mattress in stock that I saw online. I spoke with Alexis, & he gladly checked & said that they had it in stock. I went to the store today & spoke to Alexis. He was very respectful & professional. I asked about the warranty, & I bought the mattress & the mattress cover. I am very pleased with my purchase & experience with Alex. This was not my first purchase there, & it won't be my last. I highly recommend Ashley Honey Store & Alexis.

The customer service here is absolutely crap. Tried buying furniture and you would not believe the hoops you have to jump through for furniture you can find somewhere else. They overcharge for their furniture and I found out you can buy the same exact pieces for a price that's not ridiculously marked up. I would go literally anywhere else but here. I have never felt so frustrated buying furniture before going to Ashley's.

Very helpful staff, who were all knowledgeable about the products. Very nice selection and I was allowed to browse on my own without the sales person following me around. They only came to check in and make sure I didn’t have any questions. This allowed me to take my time making purchase decisions.

I had ordered a large picture frame, but upon arrival, I realized it was too big for my space. I brought it to the store with the intention of returning it, unaware that online returns are not accepted in-store. When I arrived, I struggled to open the door while carrying the large picture. Despite there being several staff members—at least 10—visible inside the store, no one offered any assistance. As I walked in, many of the staff simply stared at me, which made the situation feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Eventually, one associate approached and asked how she could help. I explained that I was there to return an item purchased online. She told me, rather dismissively, that they don’t accept online returns, and asked what I was returning. When I said it was artwork, she reiterated that they couldn’t help me. The entire interaction felt abrupt and lacking in courtesy. To make matters worse, no one offered to help me carry the large item back to my car—not even the male employees who were standing nearby. All the while, the other staff members continued to watch without saying or doing anything. This experience left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. I believe that customer service should include at least a basic level of attentiveness, and that staff should be proactive in offering assistance, especially when customers are visibly struggling. Additionally, it would be helpful if there were clearer communication regarding the return policy for online purchases, perhaps on the website and at the store entrance.

Just had the WORST customer service I've ever received. Ordered a couch and waited 3 weeks for delivery, I sent the dimensions to my building and they said it would fit in the elevator but it didn't. The delivery driver called me and was cussing me out, and said they can only walk it up to the 3rd floor and not the 5th floor (because injuries only happen on the 4th and 5th floor apparently) UNLESS I was willing to pay him cash for it... do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else if you need it delivered.

However I returned back to your store to get a better understanding about the mattress being in a box.George Miller wasn't there to assist me. Another sales person assist me with the matter. Therefore I Ken Mitchell asked questions about the mattress being in a box? She was very good and professional about doing her job. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. I dealt with Dominique, (Sales) and Michael, (Asst. Manager). I found Dominique refreshing, and eager to help. We quickly settled on the couch that I wanted, which had to be ordered. The sales process went smoothly, even though the equipment seemed to be a bit troublesome. I found both Michael and Dominique very professional. This is why, besides the high quality, I shop at Ashley's for my furniture.

Best furniture ever. I purchased a dresser and two recliners. Also my salesman (Stewart) was helpful, smart and kind.

The worst place I've ever been to, restaurants, stores, etc. I bought a table and chairs on july 9th from the salesman Tony McCann who promised me it would arrive no later than July 18th. I need it because I just moved with my family and don't have anything in the house. The things never arrived, he told me it was a problem with the truck and I told him to cancel the order and I would get my money back. He told me he had already done the paperwork and that the money would be returned to me in 3 days maximum, 5 days went by and nothing and if I didn't look for it he wouldn't say anything. The worst thing is that supposedly the order was canceled, but I received a message that the things would arrive in 3 days. I contacted him, and he told me he didn't know what was happening and to call a number. I called customer service, and they told me the purchase wasn't canceled, I canceled it, and now I have to wait 7 to 10 days for my money back. Do not go to this store. It was the worst experience I've had with any business. I am warning all my family, friends, employees, etc to be very careful about this store.

This store sends us damaged sofa, chase and ottoman. Delivery person lied that store would replace the damaged sofa and Ottoman. We have been calling multiple times and getting no responses. The customer care tells that you need to file for a damage claim and we would do inspections what’s this? First send damaged product after buying and start running for filing claims for brand new sales. Does Ashley provide this kind of quality product and quality service?

I recently bought a kitchen set when it was delivered the man opened the box for the table and it was damaged he said they usually check at the warehouse but for some reason they did not check he left the chairs and the bench two weeks later the table was to be delivered I checked my phone that morning to see the time and there was no email so I called the person who sold me the furniture she was very rude she said it would be delivered on the 22 I told her that that I would be out of town then so she said it would be the 28 of July I told her to have it delivered this Monday or Tuesday she said they could not do that she said she would have the delivery department call me within the hour and then hung up no one called the whole day I will never shop at Ashley again and I will tell everyone I talk to about my experience

We visited Ashley's on July 9, 2025 to shop for a living room set. Mr. Tony McCann was our salesperson and did excellent job. EDITING MY RATING. Reading Adrian Najera's review below and the same thing happened to us! We worked with Dominique who told us our items were "in the warehouse" so we could schedule delivery right away (had they not been available, I would not have proceeded with the purchase as similar to Adrian, our family was moving from out of state). Not only were they not available in the warehouse, delivery dates kept getting pushed back. When they finally delivered 2/3rds of our order, they left one bedroom set fully disassembled and told us they could not install hardware on the dresser as it was "outside of their scope of work" (we paid for white glove delivery and Ashley refuses to reimburse us). It's been three a month, and our bed set STILL looks like this. This is the photo that the furniture delivery team shared back with Ashley Furniture noting that the pieces didn't fit (slats were too short and the middle support beam was too high). You can also see they the side table with no hardware. I've reached out 8 times, I've been passed back and forth from multiple agents with no resolution. My case was "escalated" over a week ago with no follow up. They sent me one email confirming my case was escalated (I requested the email as written proof of what was happening on their end) and now they won't respond to my follow up emails. Ashley, if you're reading this, a call back would be great. A fixed bed, even better. A refund, expected at this point. BUYER BEWARE. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture ever again. *I also understand mistakes happen, but it's how a company chooses to handle those mishaps that makes the difference. This was the most unprofessional, sad experience.

Horrible, will never shop there again, I wonder if this is the same Ashley I shopped at 25 years ago, did they sell the Ashley name someone else definitely don’t appear to be the same quality. I was told by the salesperson (Eutlanda T.) and Acima employee (Evangeline Haley) I can purchase my 5 piece table set 90 days same as cash and I did. Then I started getting texts from Acima finding out it was nothing more than a rent a center type thing costing me $96. I will never ever shop an Ashley Store again. Besides that, my chairs were unleveled the delivery guy showed me how to adjust the screws on the bottom but 1 was stripped and would not stay out.😞😏 Now I am having trouble getting service scheduled, The first time they cancelled, no service person, the guy was not available. I’ve already canceled this order #047G559083 at noon today with Mr.Trent but I thought you might want to see the photo I personally took before I made the purchase back on 5/29/25 After receiving a text message today that the delivery of my order would have to be rescheduled due to incomplete paperwork I called and spoke to Abriana who told me when the delivery guys went to pickup it was damaged…, it really didn’t surprise me, I could see Ms Taylor damaging something I would have paid for because of her angered temper towards me. You sales person Taylor who got upset with me on 5/29/25 for asking to speak to the manager may have been the person to damage the item. She displayed anger 😡 towards me because I reported her to the manager for lack of interest in helping me get the dimensions of the bed. Ms. Taylor was sitting comfortably on a nearby bed while trying to text whoever she was texting and I got tired of trying to get her to assist me. As I approached Mr. Michael Melancon the manager she got hostel and I was afraid she would try and hurt me after telling Mr. Michael “YOU DEAL WITH HER” speaking of me. I was shocked that the mangers didn’t ask her to walk away, they could’ve talked to her after I left. Michael Melancon did come to assist me in purchasing the items and he and I both examined the bed and as he was pointing out the night stand imperfections I told him Ms Taylor never told me it was included in the cost, she was busy on her phone and I had a bad feeling that by the time I was to get my purchase she would have damaged it. And here we are, this night stand was intact the photo Mr. Trent showed me today had a large 3 way crack in the back of it , who did it? As you can see when I took the photo of the back of it , it was fine. Now as I sit here typing this message I just receive a text message saying the drivers are 15:minutes away from my home and Mr. Trent assured me he would have my funds refunded to me once he get the manifest back. I will never shop Ashley again and will discourage anyone else from doing so, totally unacceptable even when my husband and I came back to speak to a manager Mr. Trent Sat as well as Ms Taylor as we were talking to Mr. Trent Ms Taylor was on her phone yelling to another co- worker across the room “my Moma says she’s gonna have the candy for you”, yes she was sitting side by side with the manager Trent who was talking to us about the problem and he didn’t seem like that was a problem in the middle of conducting a transaction with a customer…unbelievable, never ever again will I not read the room better before purchasing from any business all of the signs were there not to by anything. I needed a mattress and I received all of the information I needed, but the mattress I selected wasn’t available for delivery and I was informed that it would take over a week to deliver my second choice. I felt that a sale of a $2000.00 mattress to me didn’t matter very much to the store. I went to Mattress Firm and my mattress and box spring were delivered in less than 24 hours.

Need a new recliner? Well I did. Read this. Haven't furniture shopped for myself in a long time, so I had tons of questions, concerns, and certain criteria my chair needed to meet. I came here a little nervous, but within no time, Miss Taylor had me looking at the recliners in the store that fit what I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable and patient. She didn't try to upsell me or convince me to purchase one chair over another. It was an excellent experience start to finish. In and out in a minimal amount of time. Honestly, I couldn't recommend Ashley. Staff is welcoming amd friendly but the quality of the furnitures are just so bad for the high price you pay. I've paid nearly 900$ for a tv stand and some of the screws come loose after not even a month.... one of the doors literally just fell. Really disappointed, if you wish something that lasts, shop elsewhere.

I purchased a mattress and base. The wrong base was delivered. I immediately called the store after delivery and was told that was what I ordered and could not return it. The mattress had a 90 day sleep comfort exchange. I went in to exchange it. I kept being put off for the exchange then was told it was over looked by someone in customer service. When delivered the name brand was correct so I signed for it. The new one was supposed to a 4,000 temprapetic mattress. My statement never reflected the upgrade from the 2,000 I was charged for the original purchase. I called the store and was told it was a 2,000 dollar mattress. I told them that I ordered a more expensive one and was told it could only be exchanged once. I understand that is the policy but when the wrong is delivered which was their fault and I want to pay more for what I picked out it should be honored. Now I have a mattress and base that I didn't order charged to my account and was told there is nothing they can do.After telling me over and over this would be resolved I am told nothing can be done and my calls are ignored. Ashley has terrible customer service. I have purchased many mant things from them in the past and will not purchase from them anymore. I am beyond upset about the way I have been treated and encourage anyone to shop elsewhere before purchasing from Ashley Furniture. I recently received a response from Ashely furniture stating that they apologize for the mix up on my order and for the customer service I received. They said my complaint is valid and they want to help just like is stated in other bad reviews. I was asked to call or text them so I did. I spoke to Lindsay and my ticket number is 174364. She was very very nice and concerned just like the numerous people I have already spoke to. Just like the others also spoke to she understood and was going to help. I was asked to call back in a couple of days. I did that and again was told I could get no help that it was too long. I tried to explain once again thatit was reported sooner but I have just been put off over and over again and of course time goes by but she didn't want to hear it and tried to argue with me. The responses to the reviews make it sound like they truly want to help so readers think they resolve problems but once again they do not. You know very well they are able to help but choose not to. Financing is not thru Ashley so after you sign for it you are hooked. They get paid and the finance company wants their money. It is horrible how I was treated especially by the manager BRIAN in Ponchatoula. He knew he wasn't going to help me but just kept promising me everything was going to be ok. AGAIN I URGE ANYONE PURCHASING FURNITURE PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK. CHECK OTHER STORES BEFORE ASHLEY. My partner and I bought a set of 6 ratten chairs from Ashley's well over 3 months ago. They delivered only 5 chairs and told us the sixth was "on the way." Each week, their delivery service calls and says that the sixth chair, for whatever reason, didn't make it from Houston and thus we would need to reschedule delivery. This song and dance has occurred multiple, multiple times. Early on, during this process, we visited the store and the general manager obviously did not care whatsoever with the abysmal customer service that his store delivers. I stated to him that if the sixth chair is not delivered in a timely fashion, I would return the whole set of chairs. His response: " We don't give refunds for furniture already delivered." I am a physician. I frankly do not have time for the BS and the games that this crappy store plays. Crappy store. Crappy customer service. Crappy all the way around. I had the best experience when I visited the Ashley Store in Harahan. My sales associate Chance was the greatest. When I walked through the doors I was greeted in a timely manner, with a big friendly smile. He was very professional pleasant very helpful. I came in looking for night stands. I showed chance what I was looking for, and he found them. My shopping time was stress-free. Jamie the floor manager also came up to me and introduced himself. Great attitude and very professional and also very helpful. I was very pleased with my shopping experience down to my delivery . Thanks again for my Great experience.

Taylor, the Sales Rep was pleasant-- it was the 2nd time on a separate occasion where she assisted me with a purchase. This time the purchase was for a sofa sleeper. However in the beginning she mentioned all the sales they were having with accessories, to include lamps, arts, and etc. there was basket art that caught my eye... the display was a selection of 6 - I asked if the collection included all 6 and she replied they were. I said ok great... please add it to my order. Taylor wrote the sales order up and said we're going to have to take them off the wall as they were hammered on the wall. Taylor returned stating she discovered it was for a set of 3 and not 6. Taylor mentioned because of the error she would see if they'd sell it at the cost of 3. The manager states he would not. I don't think that's a good way in managing customer service. My husband and I were the only customers in the store at that moment with a sale and it was a missed opportunity for future business as I'll not forget that $74.99 kept them from selling me the collection of baskets yet the cost of the sleeper was over a grand. Way to go Ashley... that kind of management will cost many future sales. That was not worth the future investment of a good customer.

Picked out a sectional sofa with oversized ottoman at the Ashley furniture store in Harahan. After visiting the store three times I decided to make a purchase. First time I went into the store to look at their furniture, Yolanda approached me. Second time a different salesman Jamie approached me to ask if I needed any help. I looked around but didn’t purchase anything until the third time I went in. The salesman who approached me that day was George who insisted he was the first person to approach me & I was his customer. My experience with George initially was acceptable until we had completed the sale. Toward the end of the transaction when I asked him what if the sectional sofa & ottoman didn’t fit my room, he proceeded to tell me (I’m quoting him now) no problem you can exchange it & then gave me his personal cell number in case that happened. I learned recently that Ashley furniture has a no return policy & I needed to reject the item at the time it was delivered before the delivery guys left my house, And that trying to return it later was against their policy. I tried to call George directly within an hour of my delivery but got no answer. I then immediately called the Harahan store, but no answer. The call went through to customer service. I spoke to Sharonda. She informed me that I could exchange the ottoman for another item of equal or greater value but I’d have to go back to the store to choose a replacement item. That was acceptable to me. I have been back to the Harahan store 3 times or more & each time the story has changed. I was turned over to the assistant manager Michael. He sent an email to the Dufresne Spenser Group on my behalf. I got a phone call the next day from them. They issued a store credit by email & told me to go back to the store to pick out a replacement item. The next day I returned to the store to pick out a replacement item, which I had decided on an area rug that was the same price as the ottoman I wanted them to exchange. I was told that a new delivery had to be scheduled. At the time of that delivery they would bring the rug & take ottoman back. The next day in the store with George the area rug I had chosen was no longer available & George wanted to fold the floor sample rug up & put it in my car (8x10 rug would not have fit in my small car). When I requested that he move the display furniture off the floor sample rug so that I could see the rug to make sure it had no dirt or stains, he was very reluctant to do so. His attitude toward me became rude & obnoxious to the point of him handing me a main number for customer service, then he asked me to leave the store now & suggested I don’t come back. He said I should call the number & ask them to write up an exchange order. I left & called the number. The customer service rep told me that they didn’t have any exchange order & the store had to initiate the exchange order. I’m being told by each respective party that an exchange order is needed & each side tells me that the other side is responsible for initiating it. I regret ever having shopped at Ashley furniture store because I’ve gotten the runaround by George the most unprofessional salesman I’ve ever encountered. Do not shop at this store.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Sales team and managment both garbage... I ordered furniture and set delivery date. They called and confirmed delivery the day before with all items, texted me tracking the day of, once they tried to pick up furniture it turns out the store lost my paperwork and it couldn't be delivered. We'll I called and spoke to my sales associate (Alexis) and he went back and forth to the asst. Manager (Mike) who beat around the bush about when I would get my furniture but it was basically alot of we can cancel your order. . No I want my furniture so figure out whatever you have to do to get it to me, but this is your problem. I call to speak to someone else to be hung up on 9 times.... oh I was mad. Then Alexis stops responding and the manager won't answer for updates.. I call HR (wendy) and wow like magic i get treated like a customer should be treated, and the problem is handled with care, my furniture was just delivered thank you to Wendy and the regional manager for going above and beyond to make it right. ***** I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM HERE AGAIN****

This was my first experience at Ashley Furniture. The manager (Tevin) and salesman (George) were professional, cordial, patient and made my shopping experience a breeze.

Great selection of furniture and Dominique was very helpful. She gave us space to look at everything and kept coming back to check on us which I liked. We did purchase a sectional and a kitchen table, she gave me her cell number and said to call if I have any issues or questions. Great touch to be able to contact her directly and not a random person who doesn’t know my order.

Everything went great at the store. Shante gave us space and let us shop but was always keeping an eye on us. When it was time to buy, she was there to answer all questions. We are having everything delivered next week and are working with the store to make sure the shipping list matches up with the list of items that were included in the bundle. The shipping list was missing a few things but they are working on getting it squared away

I have never written a review in my life’s that’s how you know this was one of the worst experiences for shopping I’ve had in my life. We never received our furniture. The agents were awful. And the customer service to lien to jsut cancel everything after 3 months of waiting were awful. It is now 4 months and we still have not received a refund. Dominique wilkins was the agent who helped us originally but whoever the store manager on site was just an awful human being.

Ms. Dominique helped me today find some beautiful bedroom furniture. A lovely sleigh bed in a cherry finish with matching nightstands. The store has more of a modern selection than they do traditional, but I am going to be very happy with the ones she was able to steer me toward. This is the Porter bedroom suite.

I was told that the furniture that I ordered would be delivered within the upcoming week. I was also told that they would give me a call the next day to provide a status. Unfortunately, I was not told the truth. I asked prior to purchase several times just to make sure that was the correct timeline. I actually called Ashley furniture today and was told that my expected date was 22APR. Only time I will consider returning to this place of business is to discuss the cancellation policy.

There was clearly something internally going on but that should have never affected how I was treated as a customer. Any question Alexis asked in effort to secure the sale she would roll her eyes and ignore him. When I attempted to talk to her directly she was very short. Considering most of the sales associates work on commission, you would think she would be more supportive. It was very disappointing. On the bright side Alexis never allowed any it to affect providing excellent customer and I’m super thankful.

Everything in the store went great. Sales rep and manager were both great. Everything after leaving the store was not. We agreed on a date for delivery 3/8/2025. I got a text the next day after leaving the store and was notified that my delivery date would be pushed back a week. When I called to tell them it was more urgent than waiting a week I was told they put in a ticket and would be getting contacted shortly about a new delivery date- they never called. I am currently on day 3 of calling and getting the run around where they keep telling me somebody will call but they never do. This company does not honor their word. By the way everything can be discounted 30% off and even more from the sticker price so if they aren’t offering you a major discount on the furniture of your choosing, walk away. Not worth it.

Alexis was very respectful and courteous. Knew his stuff. Very communicative and did his very best. He's a 5. Overall scored a 4 because we loved a living room set. Did not come in the steel color we really wanted. Had to settle on brown color since they (superiors/management) wouldn't allow us to purchase floor model. Additionally, steel set came with 6 pillows; brown set only came with 4.

Experience was so so in the store, however my online virtual person was the absolute best... Felicia was the total opposite of my store experience, so it was much appreciated. I was told that they couldn't price match, however after speaking to someone via customer service (Felicia) she got it done. The agent in the store gave me a price of 2385.00 stating that I had to get the warranty for the sofa, and customer service told me I didn't. Customer service charged me 1544.95 where as the store wanted to charge me 2385.00 with the warranty and over 3000 without the warranty. Just seemed really shady!!! Thank you Felicia with Customer service for truly helping me.

If you are going to shop here, I 10000% highly recommend requesting Tony. Tony has gone above and beyond with his time helping us through everything the company itself has blundered. He is amazing and should be rewarded with a bonus! If it wasn't for him in all of this, we would have just returned all the furniture and been done with Ashley's Furniture Store at this point. IF we decide to get anymore furniture from this store we will ONLY work with him.

I would not recommend anyone to buy any furniture from Ashley furniture store. We bought a sectional sofa as well as a split king Tempur-pedic bed system from Ashley furniture in Harahan in November 2024. It was delivered in December. The delivery was chaos and it was delivered to a new construction site. The delivery team caused such a problem with construction workers trying to get into the house that my contractor asked that they just leave the sofa wrapped, and the delivery team did not assemble the sofa. We unwrapped the sofa about a week later to discover that we were given two corner pieces of a sectional sofa, instead of a corner piece and an end. I promply reached out to Ashley customer service, sent pictures and was assured that an even exchange would be made, and it was scheduled. I received no further communication until the day before delivery to tell me that the piece was no longer in stock and delivery would have to be rescheduled for the following month. I verified at this time that the piece was in stock for that rescheduled delivery date and was told yes and that it was on the truck and I would get a confirmation of delivery time 24 hours ahead of time. I got a delivery confirmation that showed delivery would occur between 12 and three and confirmed the automated system that this was correct and did get a confirmation response. We waited all day at the house for the delivery to never show up. When I called Ashley customer service again. I was told that we did not confirm delivery even though I had proof of text messaging and sent that to customer service and we had been removed from the route with no further communication. I was assured that we were scheduled again for today, January 25, 2025. My husband and I are currently out of town so paid someone to sit at our house for our delivery time of 9 AM. It is now three hours later and there has been no delivery. After checking into our hotel, I called Ashley customer service again to be told that we were never scheduled for delivery again today. This is completely unacceptable. I have also Inquired about them taking the entire sofa back as at this point we have been living with half of the sofa and I no longer want the sofa. I am constantly told because it was accepted that it cannot be returned, even though we were not issued a complete delivery. We have scheduled one more time for February 7, 2025 because we have no other choice. If this furniture does not come at this time, we will be consulting legal action to get reimbursed for the sofa and contacting the Better Business Bureau. If someone from Ashley furniture store in Harahan would like to reach out to me, They are more than welcome, but since there is no direct line to contact the store, you can’t actually talk to someone to solve a problem.

It took quite a while to write my order up I called the store first to make sure that they had the items I wanted in stock. I was told they did and when I went to pay for the items, I was told that one of the pieces was not in stock and that my delivery date would now be January 11 instead of me going to pick it up before Christmas.

I shared with her my interest in purchasing a bed for my granddaughters room. I did not want a bunk bed or twin beds because I ever necessary, I wanted to have their room available for guest living when they aren’t there. Ultimately, I purchased a Queen size bed and mattress set for their room. So, I’d say my experience with Dominique was a true pleasure and I recommend her and the Ashley team to anyone during their search for home furniture needs.

After one visit on Friday and 2 visits on Saturday. My wife & I were very diligent and required accuracy of the order. We were absolutely assured by the sales person and the Assistant General Manager that the furniture that we were ordering is in stock in the warehouse and that we would receive the order on 12/21. We reconfirmed this information several times. We then went directly to the desk to finalize the order, wrote the check, processed the payment and went to sign off on the final document when we were told that the order could not be delivered until 12/24. We were told that a service order would be placed to correct the delivery date back to 12/21, but will have to wait for a response until Monday, 12/17. We will have to see if this issue will be resolved properly.

The purchase of the furniture was smooth and easy. However the fulfillment center is another question. While completing the purchese we set a specific date with a note to deliver before noon. However, two days later we recrived a text, with a name other than mine (which caused concern of delivery to wrong address) AND the delivery date was changed. The only opportunity to ask questions was not available, our interaction was with an automated phone system. My problems required interaction with a human. I had to get the salesman to get involved. That shouldn’t be the case.

If you find quality stuffs and they are delivered appropriately, then everything is ok, as their good things are indeed good. However, what may also happen are: 1) they try really hard to sell you damaged floor samples. 2) they don’t know how to transfer things from their other warehouses, so that your delivery would be delayed endlessly. 3) if you ever have any issue that you want some help, they don’t have any live phone agent. All, are, robots. And their (at least mine) in store sales rarely pick up phones. So the only thing you could do is driving to their remotely located store again.

Absolutely misleading sales tactics & disgraceful customer service. When I bought my new home, I went to Ashley Furniture to order some of my furniture. Something I realized during my shopping was that half of the items sold there, were sold online on their website & at other stores for half the price. They’re willing to price match, but still take advantage of people everyday by selling them furniture at over double the actual price. One of the things I got price matched was a $900 tv stand, all the way down to $300. I had paid over $200 for white glove delivery, all for them to deliver the TV stand without any shelves. I thought this was just a misunderstanding they would easily correct, so I called the store. They directed me to a nightmarish customer service hotline, of which I had to sacrifice hours of my time calling on several different occasions. They finally offered me a $75 credit if I allowed them to ship the shelves to my house for me, under the agreement that I’d install the shelves myself. I decided to take that agreement, and a week later they sent 1 shelf to my house, NOT 5 shelves. It also didn’t include brackets, screws, an instruction manual, anything. I called the store for the fourth time to complain, and they made me call the indian customer service hotline. After an hour on the phone, I’ll see if they correctly send anything to my house. I was NEVER given a refund for my over $200 white glove delivery, and have spent hours and hours on the phone with their customer service team over such a simple issue. I was prepared to spend over $10,000 on furniture, and won’t be now due to their deceptive marketing & nightmarish customer support team. They should be sued, (not that they haven’t been multiple times). No compensation for my hours of time, and still no solution. Disgraceful.

Ordered a Lounge Chair for my Mom . The Service was Great , Especially compared to Rooms To Go Metairie . Our Salesmen was Prompt Polite and Professional. Selection was Decent. The only Negative is that we have to Wait Almost a whole Month to Get the Item In .. That Detail Needs some Serious Working on. I came Very Close to Not making the Purchase once I found out it’d be close to a Month to Receive, but I Know my Mom Really Needs it, and will Enjoy it . It's a Birthday Gift for my Mom .. going to be a Very Late Gift . Wish they could Find one at Another Warehouse 😯 😏 😞
