I bought a tempurpedic mattress from George Miller, the sleep expert, at Ashley furniture in Elmwood. George was very knowledgable on all mattresses and he made the purchasing process very easy. He is such a nice guy who wants to make sure you’re sleeping in the best mattress possible. Would definitely recommend!!

The 4 star is because lack of service offered when I walked in the door. However once the store manager noticed me he was quite helpful in completing the sale.

Found a chair to purchase over there and when I went to go run my Ashley furniture credit card for the payment it was declined due to Ashley closing my account because I have not used it. I paid my sofas off six months prior to that and was ready to make another purchase and was very disappointed. Needless to say I got up and walked out and made a purchase elsewhere. SorryAshley, you need to do better! Either let the customer know that you are doing that instead of finding out when they go into the store and being declined..

We had the best experience at the Harahan Ashley store. We went in last night and our sales person was Jamie. He was AWESOME! He took the time to explain things to us and really sold us on the Zero Gravity sofa/loveseat but, we actually didn't buy last night. I just wanted to weigh my options and see if I wanted to put that kind of money out at this time. After sleeping on it, we went back tonight and we dealt with Hunter because Jamie was off and Hunter was just as AWESOME as Jamie was. I will DEFINITELY go back to either one of them when I am ready for any other furniture items!! I give them both 10 stars and the whole environment of the store 10 stars. I cannot wait to get my new Loveseat in next week! Thank you again, Jamie and Hunter!!

We got a best deal on power recliner on Memorial Day! Tony and Evangeline both were superb at their customer care, we have been Ashley’s customer since many years now.

As soon as I walked in the sales consultants were so attentive. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and Tony had me in and out of the store in no time. He didn’t pressure me into buying something I didn’t want and he allowed me to breathe and explore the store a little bit eventhough I already knew what I wanted to order. I was searching for a sectional and tried other stores before coming to Ashley’s. At one of the stores no one approached me to assist me in shopping and at the other the sales consultant tried to pressure me into buying a sofa I wasn’t sure about. Tony at Ashley’s in Harahan was the best salesman I experienced during my search for furniture. I would definitely recommend shopping with them.

I needed a new recliner, so walked into the showroom and was met by George. I told him my criteria for the recliner and he walked me straight to the perfect one! In store service was great, they promise you all of these accommodations for delivery and even convinced me to purchase a sofa maintenance plan since I purchased a white sofa for an additional $500. Unfortunately this company has the worst customer service I have ever received. I’ll spare you the long novel of all the things that have happened since my purchase but just know their white glove delivery service is not actually true. The delivery driver left dirty hand prints on my sofa and also never installed feet on my ottoman. It took months of fighting customer service to get my sofa cleaned. They came on Wednesday but unfortunately they mailed me only ONE ottoman foot so I needed to schedule a second service for the feet. I finally got the feet and now they will not come on a Monday or Wednesday when my husband is home because they claim they do not service my area on those days…. WHAT?! So I asked for a later time so that I can go to work and still have my ottoman feet installed and now they are telling me I cannot do that either. I bought my sofa at the beginning of March, it is now the end of May and I still have no feet on my ottoman and my new floors are completely scratched up. If you’re looking to buy a sofa, simply go somewhere else. This company only cares about taking your money and I will NEVER buy from them again.

Our salesman, George, helped us select what we wanted, and was very nice and also helped us save a full dollars on the purchase. Everything went well during the delivery. Both gentlemen were very courteous and placed the 2 recliners where I wanted. I checked both chairs and they seem to be good, also tried the recliner mechanisms in both chairs and they worked as advertised !! Thanks very much. p.s. I am hoping to be around/live that long when the 5yr warranty runs out enabling us to cash in on the $ 300.00 George promised us, if we didn't have to use it. Here's hoping! Not too happy having to spend that much on an extra warranty but better to have than not, I guess.

DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE! We received our delivery order on 3/29/2024, upon unpacking the box, the dresser was obviously damaged due to 2 of the drawers unable to align with the brackets that were put in. We have called numerous times for them to deliver a new dresser and pick this one up or just refund us the money. Their 1st solution is to give us $40 towards and keep the broken dresser, 2nd solution is to give us $60 and keep the broken dresser after the 1st solution was declined. WHO WOULD ACCEPT THAT WHEN THE PIECE PURCHASED IS 5x TIMES THAT? Now they have their repair guy trying to come look at the dresser to “inspect” it at 10PM at night, that’s laughable. It’s been almost a month and nothing has been done to fix this problem. If they cannot resolve the issue, we will have to take matters into our own hands.

However, it wasn’t until we met Mr. Anthony “Tony” McCann, of Ashley’s Furniture (Harahan), did we feel a connection with our host. Tony was very, professional, friendly, informative and compassionate to our wants and needs. At no time, did he pressure us, to make a quick decision. He knew furnishing an entire house, was a big decision! In fact the entire staff was friendly. My wife and I continued our journey, but we always ended up back at Ashley & Tony. We’ve found exactly, what we were looking for, for our new home at Ashley. If you’re looking for beautiful furniture; and an outstanding host, do yourself a favor, by visiting Ashley’s Furniture (Harahan) and ask for Tony. You won’t be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of having Tony help me. He was very informative and listened to what I wanted and helped find other furniture to help me decide. He even rearranged sectionals so that I could picture what I wanted. If I ever need more I will be going back to see Tony.

Have an insurance claim on a recliner that is no longer made. Was told to go pick out another recliner and pay the difference which i fully understand. Just getting the run around from both the insurance company and the store

Today 4/4/24 is the first day my husband and I have been able to sleep comfortably on the bed we purchased since it was delivered on 2/22/24. When it was first delivered it was missing the slats/middle frame. We were told they would be back the next day with new parts to finish the install. After a no show the next day customer service tells us that the parts need to be ordered and it should be 10-14 days. We slept on the mattress on the floor with me 7 months pregnant until they finally came to finish the install 3/19/24. The framework they use is garbage scraps of wood. My husband and I are not slim people and I made sure to ask the seller if this bed was suitable for our sizes and he assured me it was. The first night of tossing and turning the middle slipped so my husband had to take the mattress off to fix it. And it happened every night after. He finally went and made a new middle support out of a 2x4 and threw away the slim piece of 2x2. Then he had to cut the back of the drawer so it would fit around the 2x4. During all this time we reached out to the store, customer service and management multiple times and received little feedback or assurance that anything was being done to help us. Everyone would tell us something different and blame delivery. Please do yourself a favor and never shop here or if you do and they cannot complete the install, refuse the product and tell them to put it back on the truck because once you accept the product, they will do nothing to help you and wipe their hands of it.

I received excellent service!! I picked out what I saw on line and went there for. I received 5 ***** service from my sales lady Evangaline, I hope I have her name right. This lady was awesome, excellent patience, very knowledgeable, soft spoken and sooooo very kind. I started changing my mind on what I came their for, she never got agitated or rude, she stayed very professional at all times. I met other staff workers they were also very nice and kind. I haven't received my furniture yet it suppose to come this week. Hopefully I can come back with another update.

Ashley should be ashamed of themselves for selling the absolutely fraudulent worthless furniture warranties from ProtectAll/GBS. I paid $189.99 for a 5-year warranty on my father's recliner and have tried for over a month to get this scam warranty company to fix the lift motor on the chair that stopped working through no fault of ours. My father has heart failure and dementia and is elderly and frail. He loves to spend most of his time in his chair, and because of his dementia keeps asking over and over why it won't lift. He is supposed to elevate his legs and can't due to the broken chair and failure of GBS/ProtectAll to fulfill their obligations as a warranty company. See how swollen his legs are in the picture!!!!!!!! That's because his chair is broken and your warranty is useless!!!! I do not even have the energy to write out every instance of calling this SCAM company trying to get them to fix the chair, but I've been met with lie after lie and excuse after excuse from them. Shame on all of you involved for wasting my father's money and negatively impacting his health with your GREED and INCOMPETENCE! And the company Schatzman Repair that came out and said they ordered a part will not respond to me either. I finally ordered the part myself because the warranty company is so useless and claimed it would take weeks to get the part IF it's available, but can't get Schatzman to come put it on now. I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley again, not to mention GBS/ProtectAll, and be warned that Schatzman Repair is unethical too for being a part of this WARRANTY SCAM! THEY ALL NEED TO BE HIT WITH A CLASS ACTION!!!

Do NOT buy from this store. We purchased a bedroom set in October, since October they have lied to us, and gave false hopes to fix the issues.. Our bed came in December, after being told it would only be a 2 week shipping. it came without any hardware, and a cracked sideboard. Within the first two hours of it being delivered we did call they told us that they were going to send us new pieces, since then, I’ve called every three weeks and they told me ,” it’s on the way.” Here we are in March and they still aren’t owing up. Last week they let me know that that this bed (that is still on the showroom floor) is no longer being made and they cannot give me the piece or hardware. The only thing they can do is do a trade in for a new bedroom set, where I would then have to again wait and pay for shipping, pay for any difference in price and redo my entire room. I did visit small claim court today. I will updated based off of this new outcome. Order online, they up hold the refund and way easier to work with. (Small update 02/20/24… they sent me FOUR Bolts in the mail this week, to put together a whole king sized bed, can’t make this up)

We left with a price on a a sofa set, I jumped on the price, because we always have done business with Ashley furniture. Later on in the day, found the same set on their webpage for a lower price, went back to the store to get it corrected, and it still hasn’t been done. I will not be doing business with them again. Buyer beware, do your math and check your orders. Lesson learned!!!!

Worked closely with Taylor and had a great experience! She knew exactly what I was looking for just by looking at one or two pieces. She has excellent product knowledge, and overall just makes you feel really comfortable. I recommend if you go to ask for Taylor! Kudos to whoever hired her. She was professional, but she had a genuine interest, and was very personable. I’d also like to complement the store because everyone there was so nice when you walk in! there’s a lot of different financing options. My husband and I went in last month to buy a sofa, made the decision, and our salesperson, Ian, took all our information and put it in the system, so that when we were ready to place the order it would be ready to go. So when we called to our suprise NOTHING, none of the information that was given to him was correct!! Not our last name, our address, my phone number, email address NOTHING!! It's like all he did was add gibberish!! We got very lucky and spoke to Hunter who was a life saver. He added all the correct information, and helped us through the purchasing process. Unfortunity, he doesn't get the sale because Ian put it in th system!! I even asked him to change the salesperson, Hunter told me he could not. He should get the sale NOT Ian. Thank you Hunter for all you did for us, I will ask for you the next time I'm in there.

The furniture is high-quality, the financing is great, and their warranties are exceptional. However, their delivery and customer service is abhorrent and it's everything I'd do in my power to never buy from Ashley Furniture again. I have no qualms with the folks in the store, but when they dropped my 7K leather sofa on the ground because the delivery team was incompetent, I lost it. (It literally bounced off the ground.) Their "white glove" delivery wasn't white glove at all and they left a mess here. They complained the whole time, but perhaps rightfully so because my second floor apartment didn't have an elevator. They also delivered the WRONG furniture to begin with before they realized otherwise, and they scratched the walls up. I got that fixed and settled. I won't say they aren't willing to help, the locals that work in the store, but I've had every imaginable issue since delivery with the repair department as well. They were doing fine until in November one new craftsman came to fix my furniture and he ended up doing great (but the button didn't work for the reclining sofa). Yet again another issue, so I put the request in and gave them information they needed and waited 3 months for them to send the incorrect part because they didn't listen the first time. Now, here we are, and I still don't have showroom-quality furniture that I paid for to the tune of about $18,000. I refrain from leaving Google Reviews such as this which are quite negative, but I'd rather warn other potential customers who are looking to spend their money and teetering on the edge about choosing Ashley. It's quality furniture and I'll buy small pieces that I can deliver myself, but I'll never do this again. The attendant on the phone also apologized for the delivery and stated that there's been a change in the department, but I can't trust them. I tried calling the store itself, but the line won't go through. It just goes to an outsourced agent.

I true ordering a sofa online for 2 days. I called Houma location and girl told me they have nothing to do with online. I tried online again NO LUCK. I called Harahan and reach sales person Hunter Patrick and he told me they did not have in stock. I told him online not allowing me to order. He asked if I wanted him to order for me. I said sure. He proceeded with order and completed it. I was ecstatic and paid for order and it was confirmed. Hunter was beyond helpful and amazing. I’m so excited and can’t wait to get my sofa. My couch order had several mistakes, most notably they were about to deliver a couch with the wrong color. Good thing I noticed the wrong order number in the phone prompt system a couple of days before delivery (because I happened to be changing the payment method) so they had to correct it and re-send the right couch. The delivery was awful. The original time window was 12 to 3pm, but they didn’t show up at my place until 9pm, so I wasted my entire day/evening waiting for them. The two delivery guys kept arguing with each other about movement and positioning (poor teamwork). Then they were arguing with me (though nicely) that the couch wouldn’t fit up the staircase inside my house - I had to explain to them that over the years I’ve had lots of large furniture moved in and out without a problem… the couch did finally fit up the staircase. Not a good experience.

I’m shocked this store has a 4 star rating. Buckle up because my experience is quite the ride. Please choose another company if you value your time. We start off walking in the store knowing exactly what we want. The process took in total 3.5 hours to purchase a bed set. We get to the end and were told our sales attendant would inspect the bed. We weren’t comfortable with that so we checked and sure enough the bed was damaged. The process of refunding me and ordering a new bed took 1.5 hours and I had to pay $10 more. Here’s the best part, they ordered the wrong headboard. I go to pick it up and it’s the incorrect part. I call and say it needs to be replaced, they say I need to bring it back to the warehouse, I say I’m not doing that and please give me your name so I can reference what you’ve said when I elevate this, the customer service rep says “hold on sir, looks like the store ordered the wrong part so it’s not a warehouse issue, we’ll exchange it”. By the way, waited at the warehouse for 2 hours to pickup the wrong item. Trying to schedule the exchange is not easy either. They place all the work on the customer. Enjoy Jenny the chatbot if you’re ever in my situation. Spent an additional 30 minutes on the phone with customer service because the chatbot kept texting me to set a date that’s already set. If you value your time, I suggest going to a different company.

I ordered a dining table set with Shonte Wiley at Ashley’s and I will never shop here again. The table and chairs was delivered off the truck damaged! The sales person and the help robots have refused to replace the table and chairs. Instead they wanted to make me use my warranty on day one to repair it. After a long back and forth through a text message system the final decision was to agree to a technician coming out to repair. The repair is still not repaired. The chairs are still damaged. The wrong chair was sent in for replacement after sending multiple pictures and the barcode to the chair that needed to be replaced. Still we are getting no resolution to this. I want the table set and chairs picked up and my money back. The hassle to just send new stuff as new and undamaged and then still sending in the wrong items is ridiculous. Do y’all have children working in your help department? At this point I’m ready to sue Ashley furniture. I’ve never had an issue with purchasing furniture. I understand things happen but mistake after mistake after mistake. And then you can’t even talk to a real person. I’m fed up and furious. I will never purchase from them again. And I want y’all to take these damaged goods out my house and run me my money back!

Went to the store ready to buy a sleeper sofa sectional. Tried it out, loved it, moved forward with it. Was told to try Synchrony bank financing, took the hard inquiry, not approved. They said don’t worry we’ll try something else, hit me with another hard inquiry WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. That wasn’t approved. My credit score takes the hit. We try a third plan for financing that looks like it’s working except the form lists no space for a middle initial and they input my middle initial in my store file so it’s saying I have an irregularity that can’t be rectified. They add my middle initial and my approval rating drops $100. We work it out it’s fine, we get our monthly payment quote, all good. However once we print the forms out the sales rep informs us she’s made a huge mistake and leaves. She comes back to say she ordered the wrong sofa and did not pick the sleeper version. She “fixed it” which jumped our overall cost up nearly $600 which completely renders every quote we’d gotten so far obsolete as they had all reflected the lower price we were promised. And yes the sales rep knew we wanted the sleeper sofa but input the wrong item. She says we can still buy it at the marked up price but the delivery now instead of next weekend will be mid January. We say that won’t work. She says she can ask delivery people to try and rush to bring it sooner. I asked if that meant there was no guarantee and it would still possibly not arrive til mid-January. She says yeah she can’t promise anything probably not. So to recap we now have to decide if we want to spend $600 more with a $70 increase per monthly payment, I have two hard inquiries on my credit, we’re being told to just go with it and it’s fine, no harm done. I strongly disagree and am in fact very hurt with this turn of events. Additionally, we spent an hour and a half here since they kept screwing up so now I’m out time, patience, credit score, and still no sofa. Walked out extremely upset, disappointed, and put off by Ashley.

Your salesman got the order wrong. We wanted a full (double) mattress and boxspring. We even gave him the measurements that we needed. Instead we were given a twin Mattress and frame. When we tried to bring it back, they said we signed a nonrefundable paper. We were given no paper to sign and we would never have signed such a paper. We found out this was a new salesman and he did not have bedding experience. The manager was there and could have checked the order but the salesman said he ordered the mattress according to the measurements. He even included the wrong size mattress cover and bedding. We are waiting to see how Ashley will handle its salesman’s error. We would like our money back. In the stools we Ordered there were 2 holes that were not drilled to put the screws through. This is NOT the same Ashley Furniture that I have used in the past. I do not recommend this store.

Terrible sales and customer service. I purchased a small end table in the Harahan, LA store. I specifically asked if it would be assembled if I chose delivery, and the sales associate said yes. I had it delivered and it showed up in a box, not assembled. When I inquired, I was told they do not deliver anything already assembled. It makes no sense why their sales team would not know this. Always had issues with Ashley furniture, this will be the absolute last purchase from them.

The delivery men cracked the headboard while assembling it. Needs to be replaced and the legs of the bed are not touching the floor my son have to re adjust it.

Mrs. Evangeline helped me and we were able to price match to where the table I bought was in my budget. And Ian was also very nice and a great help.(Although the delivery was higher than I wanted there was nothing she or anyone at the store could do about that)

I had the worst experience with Ashley furniture in Harahan. 😩 We purchased a new mattress. The wrong mattress was delivered. We paid for the white glove treatment. This is what the delivery guys did with the old mattress they were supposed to remove. They left it in our driveway. It took over 2 weeks before they came back to remove it. This was a horrible experience. We had to make tons of phone calls to an 800 number constantly explaining over and over. You can't call the store it routes you to the 1-800 number. The manager has no power to help. He has to send a ticket (to the Wizard of Oz). He really did try. We had to keep that mattress for 30 days even after the manager sent the ticket explaining we received the wrong mattress. I am writing this review to warn fellow shoppers. From now on I am shopping local. No more national chains they don't care. You are just a number. *BUYER BEWARE*

Purchased the couch, but thought the Repeated additions/changes to the rules & regs.for sale items, financing, delivery, warranties etc bordered on dishonesty. Perhaps it was lack of knowledge on the part of a new employee. If that is the case then your employees need better training before put on the sales floor!!!

I had the living sofa of my dreams in less than 12 hours! I had been putting off purchasing for so long. I felt overwhelmed by options and am usually very picky. I was greeted by Keiry on Friday night 30 mins before closing and she expertly guided me through the store and and found what I needed. I thought about it overnight and was back when the store opened on Saturday morning. She made the process soo delightful and efficient. It was a good experience. Our sales lady was so knowledgeable and really listened to my needs. I wish they had pillows or some langniappe to throw in as an appreciation incentive. Just saying....

The sales lady was good, she didn't have all the answers to my many questions, but, she knew where to go to get the answers. I was told that all sales was final, which made me uncomfortable, because if you don't purchase their 5 year warranty plan, something happens to your product, then you're stuck with a broken product. I was told right when I was signing the paperwork, that Ashley Furniture give you a 1 year warranty on all their product. I felt comfortable and signed the paperwork. The next day August 18, 2023 my neighbor and I went to pick up the reclining loveseat, from Ashley's Warehouse. The gentleman who took my paperwork went inside got the recliner, which was to heavy for the dolly he used as well as the other employee who was assisting him to hold the recliner up. The man who took my paperwork towel fell, instead of him keeping his hands on the recliner, he let go which made the recliner fall off the dolly, I told him he break it he's paying for it, my neighbor had to help the other man hold the recliner up. I tore the plastic open examined the recliner as much as I could physically see, at that point I signed the paperwork, wrote on the paperwork, that I did not know the mechanical functions because it was wrapped up in cardboard/plastic and the wires was not attached. After the two employees loaded the recliner on the truck, the man who dropped it left and never returned. After arriving to my house ready to take the recycliner off the truck, we noticed that it was broke & loose (the two employees put it on the truck) with the weight of the recliner while sitting on the truck you couldn't tell anything was wrong. I immediately called the Company reported what happened, I sent the pictures while the recliner was still on the truck just like the employees put it. I took pictures as well as have 3 witnesses plus myself to testify that the recliner was broken before we could take it off the truck. I also called the Ashley Furniture Store where I purchased it from, I was told it'll take 48-72 hours before someone would call me concerning this matter. Thusfar, I'm not a happy customer, I'm paying $1200.00 for a product I can't use no fault of my own. I will give an update after I hear back from Ashley's Furniture. Note: Even after you've checked your product things still can happen, that from the outside the physical eyes can't see.

Typing this as I'm on yet another over 10 minute hold. Received damaged furniture with a faulty bed frame, also property damage done by a delivery driver. Several calls, emails, text with pictures and NOBODY returns my calls. Over 5k spent on furniture and unable to utilize it or be provided a resolution. FYI- over 65 years and I don't drive, otherwise I would be at the store daily! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND HORRIBLE FURNITURE!

We’re remodeling and I was able to purchase furniture for multiple rooms in my home. Billy was patient & took time to help me make the best furniture selections and explained all payment options. I’m looking forward to delivery of my furniture in a few weeks!

We met with Tony this weekend and he was extremely helpful with our purchase. He was professional, patient and understanding. Tony wasn't pushy and he didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. Family members have purchased from Ashley, but this was our first experience. Very impressive!

We bought our furniture on May 17th. They keep giving us different dates for our delivery. Now they are telling us that the furniture will be delivered July 14th after saying it would be July 8th. Very disappointing.

The entire staff was top-notch! Eula Tony and Jamie were great to work with and made the time we spent at the store super enjoyable!

Jamie, my sales person, was excellent. Everything was set up to be delivered and the day before delivery I received a phone call saying I was only gonna get two pieces because one piece was broken. I told the lady cancel the whole order because I didn’t want any of it if it wasn’t completed. She supposedly did that but the delivery guy showed up anyway. They were not happy that they had to take back the two pieces that they brought. Delivery of my furniture was rescheduled and thanks to Jamie. Everything worked out well from that point on.

I wasn't going to buy the mattress that I bought but the price was good for quality

Paid for my sectional in full two weeks ago. It was supposed to arrive last week, then I get a call to reschedule for the following week. Now I've been on hold for over an hour of silence trying to figure what happened because now they want to deliver it a different day again. Long story short, take your business elsewhere unless you don't really need your furniture. Following day follow up, furniture arrived but pieces were missing so instead of waiting for another delivery, I drove an hour across the lake to finally get my couch. Plz take your money else were. These ppl have no place taking anyone's money. And of course this review like all other negative ones just gets the same, reach out to us, messages. The owner should know you can run a business only from an office. They have a long way to go before their ready to run a business. Lesson 1, reach out to the customer, not ask them to call you.

There’s a difference between customer service and customer harassment. My girlfriend and I went in to take a walk around and see some furniture for our new house. We were greeted and asked if we needed help. We replied, no we were just looking around. The sales woman then replied “Well I hope you don’t mine if I follow you around” We did mind! Then proceeded to follow us around the store and make us feel uncomfortable. After telling her about 3-4 times we didn’t need any help and just wanted to browse around freely, we just walked out. We will not be steeping foot into this store again. Stop putting pressure on customers you weirdos.

Unfortunately table and chairs showed up out of the box and damaged. Tech came out 3 weeks later, could not repair now I am 7 weeks since delivery and still trying to get a replacement table top. Communication with this company is horrible. Good luck dealing with Ashley Furniture. *************Update 4/25. I did contact the number you suggested weeks ago several times and it was basically impossible to talk to a real person. Finally someone did call me and what did they do? Send the same technician out and he said same thing, screws needed for chair and tabletop needs to be replaced!! Crazy, going on two months now! Give me a phone number so I can talk to a manager, not a number that I can text!!

I wish I could give my experience 0 stars. Worse customer service ever. I was guaranteed a credit for the store for the failure to deliver my sofa on time. I have yet to receive. I have called daily for an update and inquired on how to get my credit but I get put on hold and the phone hangs up. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. Everyone just wants to rush you off the phone. Overall I feel our experience was smooth, especially compared to other furniture stores and services. We got our couch a couple weeks later than originally told, and weren't contacted at all until we reached out about it, which is why I didn't give 5 stars. But every other step of the process went great! Salesperson helped us in store, and once we reached out we were given consistent updates on a delivery date, plus the actual delivery was wonderful. They even laid down blankets to keep from scratching our floor. Great service all around!

Bought a sleeper sofa today! We got a coupon in the mail last week for 20% off … couldn’t use it … imagine that! Can’t post a photo … won’t get it for about 6 weeks!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!! I REPEAT!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!! FIRST MY DELIVERY DATE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FEB 24th and somebody pushed my order back MULTIPLE TIMES!!!!!!! I spent $6,000 and received two funky gift cards equaling $300.00 for “my troubles”. SECOND, I just received my furniture today and I had no idea they are independently and operated owned. This means they do not operate under Ashley’s Furniture policy when it comes to the customer’s dissatisfaction. I refused the furniture and the delivery driver’s owner lied to me and said that I had to schedule a pick up if I wanted to send back some pieces. As you can see in the pic below the furniture is way too big for my apt. It is very uncomfortable and I am extremely upset. I regret my purchase and I have very ugly feelings towards the Elmwood location. I do not foresee this business lasting that long due to the way they handle their customers. It is a matter of time before their sales decline even more. The store’s volume is usually low anyway. Next time I will deal with corporate and not an independently owned store. At least I know in future the corporation will take care of me. I called customer service to schedule a pick up and their policy is no refunds unless damaged. If you order from them do NOT l!! My salesman was very nice and patient. He gave me time to walk and browse the array of dining sets available. He also gave me the option to assist with an online search. When I couldn’t decide on what I wanted. He asked me to describe the aesthetic I was looking for. After doing that I decided on what I believe will be the perfect piece for my home.

This store is terrible. I purchased a sectional sofa and they didn't deliver the wedge. I called several times and they don't care about helping me. Worst furniture experience I've ever had. This is all Cindy Champagne's fault. She is a terrible salesperson who left the wedge out of my order.

Definitely the worst experience of my life! Bought a sofa, when it came to delivery we only received half of the sofa. Was told the other half was in back order! Was never told that when we paid for it! It was around Christmas and I had 20+ people coming to my house! Went to the store and all these people did was point fingers at each other. They should have said this and that and blah blah blah! We did end up getting the other half of our sofa 2 flippin weeks later! Only because we demanded our money back! 2 years later we decided to go buy the ottoman to match our sofa! Here we go again! Said it would be delivered on the 18th, then called and said they had to change the delivery date. Ok fine! Called AGAIN to change the delivery date! Still haven’t received it. The staff is horrible and there is obviously no communication between the employees or main office! I will never deal with this company again and I hope nobody ever does! You will be disappointed!

Shonte never rushed me! She was quiet but listened and answered my questions. Being that my conundrum was about the height of a person sitting on the living room furniture, I asked her to give me her thoughts,since she is taller than I. It solidified my decision and made the purchasing process much easier. It's a HUGE expense for my family and I needed to make the best decision possible,without feeling pressured to purchase. The one star does not apply to the actual store but more for the tech department. The one you call on when you have a warranty for your furniture. I received my delivery back in December 2022 with the incorrect bed railings. I have had the worst possible experience dealing with the technicians assigned to fix my bed. Basically what I understood is that, if you have a horrible experience there is nothing they can do to expedite your furniture to be serviced. You are at their mercy. My advice would be to keeping calling until your furniture is fixed. Try not to get mad bc there is literally nothing they can do for a unsatisfied customer. No point in wasting your energy. Extremely disappointed because we are in February and my bed is still not fixed!

I visited Ashley to pass time and somehow ended up buying a tempur-pedic mattress (or so I thought). I thought that the mattress specialist did an amazing job at explaining the products. He was very detailed oriented, except in the one area that mattered most…the timing of delivery. I was very clear that I needed the mattress within a week and he told me that it would definitely be delivered. I hadn’t heard anything after a couple of days so I called to inquire about delivery. To my surprise, the soonest delivery date was about a month out. I would have never made the purchase had I known that. Thankfully I was able to cancel the order, but the entire situation was frustrating and inconvenient.

I wish I would've read the previous review ordered a bedroom set in Dec told it would get delivered in mid Jan 2023 it is now Feb and still can not get a definite date ... Update 2/13 , Really liked the set and the sales person was helpful but had to cancel still did not get a definite delivery date after 7 weeks ... I ended up going to another furniture store and my set will be delivered in 8days could've been sooner but I choose the date

I bought a couch from the store and was told during purchase by the store associate that there was a 72 hour return policy. Upon delivery to home the sofa was too small, and I asked to return it. Store associate stated the next day that I could not return the sofa after having the sofa for less than 24 hours. Do not purchase in store from them as I was told after purchase that all sales are final. Horrible customer services would not recommend buying anything from them. They are liars and scammers

The sales person that helped me in July of 2022 with my purchase was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. When I was ready for my delivery months later was when everything went south. My delivery date was for early November. No one showed up on the first delivery day that was setup. No call, nothing. I called that evening and was told the items were not available. Why was delivery setup then?! And why didn't they call me. A later date was give for weeks later. Now it's December. Again no one showed up and I received a delivery confirmation message and email. Again I called and even went to the store to get this resolved. The manager was able to get me a partial delivery because one piece was not available. I received 3 pieces a week later (Dec. 22) and was told that the 4 would be delivered 2 days after that( Dec. 24). That did not happen I received the 4th piece 2 weeks after (Jan. 7). Unfortunately, the day I received that last piece we were having a party and didn't really inspect the piece to make sure it was correct. I received a piece that was the same fabric but the wrong style. Again I am calling to try to get this resolved. I went to the store on Jan. 8th and called customer service on Jan. 11th to follow up. No one has called to pickup this piece or to setup delivery of the correct piece. The customer service line is just so frustrating to deal with. I was on the phone last night ( Jan. 24) with 2 different people and the call dropped both times and no call back!! I don't know why they ask me for my phone number if everytime the call drops they don't call me back!! So now again I will be going back to the store to see if I can get this taken care of. Needless to say that I will not be purchasing anymore furniture from this store. Buying furniture shouldn't be this complicated.

The worse experience ever, we purchase a whole bedroom, the rials were damaged. Tried to change the bed. More than a month to fix the situation. They changed the bed. Now the rails were damage. Now, they supposed to send the new rails. I went into the store they act as I kept everything and everything completed. But no the driver took them back they said they were gonna contact me the next day. Now it’s been more than a week. Don’t waste your time or energy in this place. Customer service sucks over here. They just tried to sell you stuff and don’t do anything about it when something goes wrong.

I would not recommend Ashley Furniture. The furniture took over two months to arrive, and when it arrived the order was incomplete. However, when I called customer service they said everything was delivered. Finally, after several calls to customer since they finally refunded me the item that I never received. The mattress I purchased was warped. The head and foot of the mattress are slanting down and high in the middle. They sent a technician out and he was amazed at what he saw. He told me that they have to fix this. Customer service never called me with the results, finally I called after 1 week. They told me based on the report from the technician, they would not exchange or refund my money. They told me I would have to wait 3O days before I could file another claim. Did I mention the customer service was terrible. lol

I was very pleased with the customer service, my sales person was Shonte Wiley, she was very professional and helpful in picking out the right mattress for me and my wife. I was so impressed, that now I don't want to go nowhere else for my furniture shopping.

Do not do business with these people. My wife and I ordered three items online. The first was damaged. The second unlevel and the drawers don’t open and close properly. We called to stop shipping on the third because we were so disappointed in the first two and return what we had received. They sent our third item anyway and it remains in the box. It took me almost an entire month to speak to someone without getting hung up on and although the return policy says you can return your items and receive a refund minus shipping, they told us we had to donate our furniture and send them the donation slip to get any money back because shipping is too much money. If it has taken me almost an entire month to get any assistance at all why would I trust that I would get my money back without any furniture. The entire company is a joke. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Absolutely the worst!! I purchased something in May (yes I said may). I was told the delivery would be in July. They told me deliveries are taking a bit of time and because I wanted the items, I went ahead and patiently waited for it. July came and the delivery date got pushed back to September then it got pushed back to October and then November. At that point I was done and ask for my money back. I called the store and spoke with some lady who was not customer friendly. I gave her the order number and she said that it would be taken care of. I ask for confirmation of my credit to my account she said she couldn’t do it but it is taken care of. Well, it was not taken care of. I called the sales person who help me with this transaction. His name was Diego. He apologized and assured me that it would be taken care of. This was November. To date, nothing has been taken care of and the charge is still on my account. I called the customer support number or whatever 800 number that you call they entered a ticket for me and said that it will be taken care of. It’s still not completed and they are charging me for furniture that I do not have. This is a Poor managed store with incompetent people. I’m gonna have to take that 45 minute drive out to Elmwood and talk to somebody in person and hope to get this resolved. This has been a horrible experience with me with Ashley furniture and I’m so disappointed in the lack of concern and urgency with this issue. If you choose to buy from there expect problems.

I have always had a great experience at Ashley. Leonard, Angel and Blake are the best and took good care of me. I got a great deal with some very knowledgeable and friendly people.

Poorly managed store. I bought two decorative items. They were supposed to be shipped to my home. When I called looking for a shipment date two weeks later I could not get anyone in the store to pick up the phone. I ended up calling a customer service number and got a representative who could barely speak English. He told me my items had been sitting in the warehouse since two weeks prior for me to pick up. I asked why no one had called to tell me. He could not answer. I called customer service back and got a different person. I explained my situation and she said that I had to call the store to find out how to pick it up. I explained that I could not get anyone in the store to pick up the phone and she could not connect me nor give me a manager’s name. I called back a third time and customer service said they would “start a ticket” and someone would get back in touch with me. After work I drove to the store. I was told that I should have taken my items that night. I explained that the salesperson allowed me to walk out of the store without them and said they could be ordered. She then told me that they could not be ordered and they only had one in the store so they would refund me for one. I told her to refund both of them. In addition to the terrible customer service, the employees are laying all over the furniture when you walk in. The salesman who helped me was spitting in a cup and a trashcan as he was helping me with my purchase. I’m not sure what happened to Ashley as it used to be an impressive furniture store. My experience was nothing but awful.

I called to cancel because of the weather. I was told he called the warehouse and he took care of it. The truck showed up after dark and wanted to unload in the rain. He called someone and I spoke to him and he said he couldn’t guarantee my furniture wouldn’t get wet. I refused to accept. Also I have three orders and only one was being delivered. I have spent almost 30,000 dollars on furniture and would like to receive it all at once during the daytime on a clear day. I guess I will see if you really read these evaluations. Hope we can get this straight. Thanks in advance.

I was taken care of quite well today. I was frustrated my piece hadn’t come in a long wait. I switched items and hopefully this will go as promised.

I was able to find the perfect piece of furniture for a small space in less than 20 minutes. My sales associate, Tia Barconey, was very knowledgeable about the furniture and thoroughly explained my various options. I appreciated her great customer service and her interest in being sure I was happy with my purchase.

I usually don't leave reviews, just let the managers know (good or bad), but for this experience I HAD to say something!! So with that being said, my experience working with Ms. Tia Barconey (Ashley Store New Orleans, LA) was above great!! She was very knowledgeable about her inventory, and what she didn't know, she ensured we didn't go without an answer. She was beyond professional, polite, & courteous the entire time!! If you ever need furniture from Ashley Furniture, and in the New Orleans area, please go see Tia Barconey, you will not be disappointed!!

I purchased a bed through Ashley almost 7 months ago. I haven't received my bed no one cares not even the managers. It's always I can't do anything will never recommend any one to get anything from this store. I work in customer service and I never complain but this is by far the worst place ever. No one calls you back its always an email. This store needs people that care. I would never get anything here.

The worse experience of my life. I bought a piece of furniture that comes unassembled. It was delivered and it was not the piece I ordered. So I went to the store and told them what happened. We went to the piece in the store and the piece of furniture had the wrong item # on it. So they ordered the piece I wanted. This was in September. I was waiting for my order today December 6th and I got a message that I wasn't home so they couldn't do the exchange. They sent me a picture of the house they went to and it wasn't my house. So I called the manager at the Clearview store and she told me I had to send a text, she couldn't help me. Then I called the 866 number and was given all kind of excuses. I wasn't home. I was home missed my doctors appointment and my exercise appointment waiting for them.. Then I was told they couldn't turn around because they were too far away and when I said that was unacceptable I was told the piece was damaged. How do they know it was damaged if it is unassembled in a box. I'm talking about exchanging one box for another box. NEVER will I deal with Ashley furniture again. It is easy to buy but you better hope there isn't a problem because you sure can't get it solved.

We ordered our furniture 1 year ago and just got a call to set up delivery. It shouldn't take a year to fulfill a furniture order. We canceled the order and won't be returning to Ashley.

If I could put negative stars I would. This company is horrible and customer service is obviously not their top priority. They delivered damaged furniture to my house and all they can offer is to repair the furniture and will not return the item. I’ve never been treated like this from any company I’ve done business with and will never buy furniture from this company again.

Literally the most trash experience and I wasn’t expecting much to begin with. Mostly upset with customer service. You’re lucky if you get anyone on the phone before being disconnected. The person I talked to multiple times had such a horrible connection I can’t even hold a conversation because I quite literally can’t hear them and it never got better. Was told my bed would come at the end of December and get a phone call FROM THEM telling me it will arrive sooner on dec 2nd. Of course I hurry to make room/ clean/ etc . Call back to check on the delivery because I’ve heard nothing and it’s day before. Now it won’t be here until the 10th. Sitting with an empty torn apart bedroom for however long it takes this bed to come in. Dreading having to call to check on this later on. Just over all an annoying process

Loved this store. It had a large variety of the type of living room sets we were looking for. Our salesperson was very informative and helpful. The plus side is they had the furniture in stock and could be delivered within 2 weeks. Definitely would buy from Ashley again.

Absolutely the most terribly run furniture company there is. Promises made are promises not kept. One department doesn't know anything so another department makes things up to support them. They lost two whole bedrooms worth of furniture that were purchased back in August. Guess I do have to give them credit though because they managed to deliver our mattresses although they did lose the actual beds, dressers, chests, end tables, etc. That's right they delivered mattresses but not the beds they go on. After getting our mattresses yesterday on November 9 I made calls to inquire about the actual furniture. Not one of the 6 different people I spoke to on the phone could give me a straight answer. One person actually told me our furniture was delivered a month ago on October 12 which would be great if it were true. Every single person I spoke to told me someone would be in contact with me later in the day but just like furniture they must have lost my phone number. I actually had to go to the store we made the purchase at to speak to someone who could give me a straight answer. Long story short they screwed up and sent my order back and subsequently canceled the order. The store manager who said he would call me within two hours to update me on our furniture had yet to do so in the past six hours. Totally surprising I know. Thanks for everything you have done to make this experience nice and terrible Ashly Furniture of New Orleans. Edited to say that they only get a damn star because it wouldn't let me post the review without giving at least one.

Thus far I have had the worst experience with Ashley’s Furniture. I ordered my furniture in June and was promised all both my bedroom sets in August. After 3 failed delivery attempts I was finally called in to inform us one of the beds was discontinued and we had to pick out another bed or another bedroom set. We ended up picking out another bedroom set and was told both set were in and were promised both set would be delivered last week of October. Well that didn’t happen and date was pushed back until 11/9/22. Now this includes taking off from work and moving schedules around. Get home today to find out one of the beds is on back order after being promised everything was in. At this point I am livid. I contacted the store in Harahan, LA and yes screaming and frustrated the representative hung up on me. I called back, she answered again, I asked to be transferred and she hung up on me again. I called back about 8 or 9 times for her not to answer the phone or for her to pickup and hang up. I eventually received a call back from another store representative whom refused to give me her name. I explained, I understand my frustration but her hatred and poor customer service made me feel like I never wanted to return to Ashley’s. How would she feel if she was living in a home with no furniture and she continued to receive broken promises? However, the representative promised to look into my issue and call me back but of course he did not. My mom contacted our sale person and he promised to call her back and he did not. She called him back several times and he did not return her phone call. I have everyones name except the woman who hung on me several times. Representative refused to give me her name. Worst service I’ve ever had.

Wished I could give minus stars! This store was the worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything! To try and make this short, we purchased a bed and mattress, took over 3 months to get it, then delivered wrong bed and mattress, they kept telling us lies over and over and when I asked our salesman to just be honest and tell us when we would be getting our bed and mattress he got offended and stopped communication all together! This store is horrible, you can't easily get anyone on the phone and no direct answers to simple questions! Thankfully we found this out before ordering other furniture that we needed. We will never purchase from Ashly furniture again. BEWARE!! JUST RUN!! Save yourself and headaches and go somewhere else.

It was May, when I have ordered my furnitures, supposed to be delivered in mid june. I have accepted to change my preferences because of the told availability. However, the delivery still not complete , three months delay for the thing that I only ordered because of the told availability. I feel cheated. Still missing a drawer. I have spend Friday night at home waiting for a wrong delivery, a morning delivery which was postponed. Will I work with Ashley again... I will do my furnitures by myself , it would be faster. However, I will keep waiting for the missing drawer stand that needs to be delivered, which I have paid four months ago. I should have started to search for my rights earlier. Only sales team works well at Ashley.

Told the salesperson we had plans on a particular date and no one would be home that day. We were told another date for delivery of furniture when indeed it was scheduled for the day we weren’t going to be home. Unnecessary stress during a big move shouldn’t happen especially when spending thousands due to a salespersons incompetence. What’s the point of sitting down face to face with them and telling them that date won’t work just for the salesperson to select that date. Wow just wow I really don’t understand but I won’t shop at Ashley’s furniture again.

They get less than 1 star for me. My experience with Ashley has been very disappointed. I have been waiting for furniture since may. The furniture was dirty and seam coming loose. Also my table wasn't assembly when it was deliver and I am still waiting for a representative to call back. Also, I am still waiting for a coffee table. Save you some trouble and order from another furniture store, very dissatisfied with Ashley furniture.

After having a terrible experience at a competing store, Tia at Ashley Furniture was such a breath of air! It’s clear she loves what she does and it makes the process so much better. I have bought furniture from ashleys for 10years. The quality has changed. I also don't understand why the furniture isn't covered or in a box for delivery. I ordered a table and bedroom suite in July of 2022 and receive the table in September and the chairs were all messed up so there giving us a replacement and supposedly were getting it the end of October after being told beginning of October. Our headboard and footboard arrived October 12, 2022 and I saw.the guy taking it out of the truck it wasn't wrapped or in a box and it was broken so now I have to call and see how long for a replacement for something we purchased in July.

Although the delivery crew were delightful, getting the delivery scheduled was an impossible task. I would receive a call to set up a delivery only to have it cancelled (supposedly by the system). I would receive a call to schedule a delivery…again…not even realizing the prior one was canceled. This happened 4 times! Imagine waiting for furniture for 8 months and it taking 2 months to set up delivery. Ridiculous! They need a new delivery scheduling company in order to deliver better customer service.

Awesome team of people who went out of their way to make sure that I got the best deal possible.

Found something I liked but it was out of stock. Had a 5-6 wait then it's discontinued.

I'm soooo over Ashley. I understand everything has been backed up, but don't lie to get a sale. I selected my merchandise in July. The sales lady said I will get my merchandise July 29th. (Let her know not to make promises). It went from July 29th to August 20 to Sept 3rd to Sept 14th to Oct 4th. On Oct 4th finally received my order to discover that my dresser w/mirror nor nightstand came in. I called for the representative to say oh those pieces wasn't in. One thing I hate more than anything is to be lied to. Informed him that when I spoke to someone in September everything was in but the bed rail. So what happened and why didn't I get all my stuff. I was informed I would receive a call the next day to set up delivery and guess what NO call nor email. This has been the worst experience with little to not enough communication. Furniture I love, but don't tell someone what they want to hear to get a sale. Especially for someone like me who already been out of her home since the storm IDA over a year. I purchased my furniture from this store Labor Day weekend. We made sure to give the salesman our new address for delivery. They tried to deliver it to our old address and then took two weeks to get us scheduled for the delivery at our new address. Delivery day comes and they don’t show up. Call customer service who tells me there is a hold on the delivery and I will have to work it out with the store. The store is impossible to get ahold of by phone. Today (10/05/2022) I’m sitting in the parking lot waiting for them to open so I can get the disaster taken care of. If I could give less than one star I would have. Plus I was supposed to be charged 100.00 for delivery and they charged me 350.00.

Found the dresser and night stand right away. Had been looking online at several stores and didn't find what I wanted. Furniture is beautiful and good quality. Our assistant was new, but tried his best to help us threw the buying process with two different transactions,as my mother also bought a recliner at the same time. I would definitely buy from Ashley again in the future.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. I purchased a couch in full on August 13th and paid for the insurance plan. I was guaranteed delivery by September 14th. It was pushed to October 7th and then cancelled again on October 4th with no given date when it will be available. The Sales Manager told me it was in stock which led to me purchasing the couch, if it wasn't in stock I would've gladly looked at other models in store, but instead it seemed they were only worried about the sale. It's ridiculous that a company would create an environment that incentivizes employees to lie to customers just to make a sale.

We didn’t get all of the parts of the bed we ordered. A partial order arrived after waiting months. Called customer service . The woman said she had no idea where our furniture was / or when we would get it. Terrible experience.

I swore to boycott Ashley due to an experience my mother had last year that never got resolved. I gave them one more opportunity and had Nolan when I went in. Amazing salesperson. I hate salespeople that linger on top of me, but he would check in and give me ample time to be alone and think. He would show features of what we were looking at and then step away. Best experience I've ever had with a salesperson. Now, I just hope delivery goes just as smoothly (the issue my mother had last year where she was told a different delivery date over 10 times and took approximately 7-8 months to receive her order she was told would take 2 months). Thank you, Nolan, for making this a great experience so far.

If there were zero stars I would have given it. We purchased “in stock furniture” was called the morning of the delivery and told the items had not arrived for delivery. “In Stock”. We were in a crunch and needed furniture for relative coming. We went to the store to get a refund and after 30 minutes was told the manager needed to sign off on it. 15 minutes later he still had not come and my wife walked and found him. He had some papers and was walking the floor and told my wife “ I was coming when I was finished”. Long story short, they would not give the refund there because we paid cash. Was told we would receive a mailed check in 14 days and here is day 20 and no check. To make it worse, they did not want to give us a receipt showing we returned it and finally the same rude manager Jim finally wrote on a receipt that we returned the items and was due a refund via mailed check. Wow customer service. However Anthony the sales person was amaZing and someone with a sales position somewhere should contact him and make him part of their team. Jim doesn’t deserve him. Part 2: I followed the instructions as asked today and finally got somewhere. After reviewing the cancellation, they are now sending my check and I should get it in the next 7-10 days. So it will be 29-31 days before my refund is sent because Jim the manager never sent it to accounting to process the refund and there was no record of a return to be sent to me. Wow, Jim. Great Customer Service.

Waiting since December 2021 for a Dinning room set. What a big Disappointment, My past experience were good. Unfortunately they have lost all my future business and references.

This was possibly the worst purchasing experience I've ever had. They promise big and deliver small. You really cannot trust their delivery times. They will just keep kicking the can down the road. For us it started out as 30 days and became four months and we still haven't received all of our furniture. Never again.

I am so sorry that I purchased any my furniture from Ashley Home but it will not happen again, they have definitely lost a customer. The customer service is awful (of course after you purchase), and the furniture was delivered to my home damaged and was rejected on 4 seperate occassions after waiting seven months to get it. Let's just think logical here, why would a company send out a table top and 4 chairs (2 of which were damaged) and then tell the customer we are not sure when the base is going to arrive? I clearly stated that I'm NOT accepting that because once I do I'm stuck with it there is no returning it and the dispatcher said that is correct but we will get the base we just don't know when. Well my house is NOT the warehouse when you get EVERYTHING I paid for bring it back until then I don't want the table top without anything to hold it up. This picture will show how they delivered broken chairs to my house and thought it was okay... where is quality control, does anyone inspect this furniture? The place where customer service and customers obvious come LAST.

Waited twice the amount of time that was originally stated. Contacting customer service is almost impossible. You shipped 2 wrong items. Couldn’t get in touch with customer service couldn’t get in touch with the store. Had to make a trip to store you see about wrong items. Everything in my home is from Ashley, it might be time to seek a different store

The men were friendly and nice but my dining set came missing parts & table top & glass center pieces has scratches. Please keep in mind I ordered this set in stock and took 2 whole months to get. Very disappointed because when I called right after gentleman left the lady told me ticket was still out couldn’t take information on that ticket yet call back tomorrow to see about service department schedule. I don’t think I’ll buying anything from Ashley Furniture in the future

On Sat. Sept. 3 we bought a full mattress that was promised to be delivered on Thur. Sept. 8. Everything was set for delivery until I got a call at 7am on Thur. Sept. 8. The woman on the phone said that they did not have my mattress and didn't know when it would be in which I needed for this weekend. We went to Ashley in Elmwood to see what was the problem because no one answered the phone. They did not have any and it would take at least 2 weeks so we canceled the order. We should get a refund sometime in the next 4 weeks because I wrote a check. While at another store buying a mattress I received a text saying my mattress from Ashley will be delivered in the next 10 minutes. 🤣

Sales experience it's self was okay. Nothing terrible, but nothing impressive. We ordered 2 dressers for each of our children on July 23, 2022. They said it would take 2-3 weeks for it come in and be delivered to our area. The truck only goes to our area once every other Wednesday. The first time they were both suppose to be delivered, I got a phone call saying one was damaged and one was good. She said they were going to deliver the other one today and have to order the other one from TX. But the good one was going to out today. She called back 15 mins later and said the truck left with no dresser for us and it would be back 2 weeks on Wednesday. Here we are today, September 8, 2022 and one only dresser. When the delivery got there on Sept 7th, the delivery man said, "Oh, they didn't call you?" NO.... no one called me. I called to reschedule and it's "unavailable". I called the local store and I get disconnect EVERY time. I advise you to do business else where. I'm considering cancelling my order and calling Comeaux.

Parents ordered a sofa & loveseat combo. Was confirmed for delivery Friday September 2nd, it never came. Then my parents spent the rest of Friday and half of Saturday trying to figure out what the hell is going on with their furniture. My dad was told that it fell off the truck, then was told it wasn't even on the truck by someone else. The manager of this store refuses to return their calls, corporate refuses to return their calls, and the person that did the sale and front desk workers are trying to give them the run around. They won't give a new solid delivery date, and won't give them the number to the warehouse to see if their furniture is even there. ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST!!!

Bought furniture in June, wasn’t delivered until august which is fine i knew the items were on backorder. August finally arrives and my dresser arrives with a hole in the back. I took off work once and don’t have the flexibility to keep taking off work. I was initially told delivery was only available on Tuesday and Thursday now I’m being told Wednesday and Friday. It’s now September and i still have the dresser with the hole. The whole process has been frustrating to say the least, Definitely won’t do business again.

Shonte' helped me pick out some furnishings. Such a sweet person. I will ask for her anytime I go in the store. Lots of great things that I couldn't find anywhere else.

Ashley furniture have poor customer service and communication 🙄. I've spoke with several representatives and even went personally in the store and spoke with manager in Harahan, La who stated all my items were in only to be delivered partial pieces. I've updated my address at least 4 times and they still delivered my mattress to an old address. The representatives are not knowledgeable and just tell you what you want to hear. I

My associate name was Shante. She was very pleasant. I came with a bed in mind that I saw on the internet but it wasn’t in the store. She asked me if I wanted to look around which to the pressure off , by having someone standing over me and watching my every move. I found 2 beds I like but didn’t want to make a decision right away. She gave me her card and told me to think about it, but also reminded me to make a decision before Monday since it was the Labor Day Sale going on. So I came back once I made my decision and she got the job done. Thanks Shante.

Excellent customer service from Mr. Tony.. We had found a design online that we wanted, but the delivery time was way in October. Mr. Tony confirmed local stock in store with same pricing and way better delivery time.

Ashley furniture says anything to get the sale. Once they have the sale it takes an act of congress to get the correct furniture and have it delivered.

If I could give a 0 I would. Waited over 3 months for my furniture and when they finally set up a delivery date ,the driver stated I didn't answer the phone or my door..My friend and I was seated in my apartment less than 3ft from my door waiting. THEY LIED...on the 2nd delivery date my furniture that I Waited so long for had water damage and big chips on the chest and dresser.The headboard was not damage but the foot board and side rails were not on the truck..I told them to take it all back..I'm going to go and get a refund..I very disappointed in Ashley's..

I will never buy anything from Ashley Furniture again. Bought a table & 5 chairs 6 months ago, & was told it would be here in 1.5-2 months. I understand things are behind & this happens, but I never ONCE got a call letting me know what was going on. When the table finally got delivered, only 1 chair showed up. Delivery guys said the rest would be here in 2 weeks. This company is so unprofessional it’s mind blowing. Only good thing i can say in the whole process is the delivery guys were very nice.

The worst furniture purchase I have ever experienced. Do not do business with these people. I purchased a bedroom set & mattress February 18, 2022. The mattress was sold with free delivery, however was charged for delivery. I had to go back to the store for a credit. The furniture had to be ordered & was supposed to be delivered in early May. When the furniture didn't arrive as promised, I called to check the status. They stated it would be another 6 to 8 weeks before that can give me a delivery date. In June 2022 the furniture was delivered. The father & son contractor delivery guys were not even physically fit to move the furniture. They struggled. The furniture was delivered with numerous defects to include gobs & scratches. Two of the drawers on the furniture don't open & close properly. Delivery guys stated a Customer Service Rep would call me tomorrow. No one ever called. A tech came out on 8/23 but didn't do anything but take pictures again. He stated Customer Service will call tomorrow. As of this date, I have not heard from anyone. I have called customer service & have been given the run around. As of 8/30/2022 this issue had not been addressed or resolved. Do not do business with this store!

Choosing to buy furniture from Ashley has turned into one of the worst decisions I’ve made in recent memory. It’s been 10 months since I’ve placed my order and I am still waiting on items to be delivered. Their delivery operations make no sense and their customer “care” team is a joke. No one has a clue where inventory is and all you get when you call about your delivery is an estimated date which is simply 2-4 weeks from the day you called…every single time. They do offer some very attractive financing, so if your willing to wait 6-12 months for something to come in, then Ashley is not a bad choice. Telling all my family and friends to steer clear of Ashley.

Darren was absolutely wonderful. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, personable, and truly a delight to work with.

We bought our first ever couch today and our sales rep, John, was so wonderful and helpful. Just an honest and kind good hearted gentleman. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and made the process super easy for us and helped us with a payment plan! Definitely will be back to see him and help us furnish our new space!

Never order from Asley furniture order never came sales man hung up on me nothing but excuses excuses bad service husband had to take off work he even received a text saying that they were on there way I will never do service or recommend them to absolutely anyone They are the worst furniture place I ever dealt with I'm taking my business elsewhere . If your furniture is not perfect on delivery be ready for a year of headaches and broken promises. Our initial delivery was a bedroom set and a coffee table. one item from the bedroom set was damaged and we did not accept delivery however we didn't see the damage to the coffee table until later. Addressing the concern with the damage dresser no problems at all everything went fine. However, Dealing with the call center to get the table addressed was a nightmare, I had to go to the store in person to start getting resolution. Then they attempted to deliver the replacement table, 3 different times all showed up broken. Again visits to the store, we then ordered a different type of table, Now simple issues with delivery began. We'd receive a text confirming our delivery, then no one shows up or We get a call saying they do not have our table. Again a visit to the store occurs, This goes on for another month of missed delivery dates. Then We dealt with a different manager who assured us it was escalated and we'd get our table. Guess what we haven't received our table.
