Never again due to customer service and quality. Order over $9000 worth of merchandise. Delivery date and time was a complete fiasco due to not arriving at the promised time from the salesperson. The delivery company point of contact was extremely rude during our conversations. Recliner came in damaged and not what we wanted. In order to have the recliner returned, we have to pick out a new one first, pay for it, then they will pick up the damaged item. We cant just bring it back to the store. JUST RIDICULOUS. NEVER AGAIN.

The saleswoman was great. The people there next day when I went pick up were slow and had to scramble to find missing parts. Also took forever, over an hour to buy, and equally an hour to actually pick up the furniture.
The sales reps who helped us were very friendly and knowledgeable about the store products; however, a hick-up when ringing our sale has caused me a tremendous amount of grief days later. In essence, the wrong shipping address was put on file even though we conveyed the address to them twice before completion of the sale. After numerous phone calls to the lending company, the local Ashley manager, and the fulfillment center, the delivery address still has not been fixed. This could have and should have been an exciting experience, but it’s been a huge headache thus far. I just wanted a new mattress! Not fun!
Great shopping experience at the Ashley in Houma! Kind, knowledgeable, and patience sales representatives. We really appreciated having the opportunity to walk around on our own with the occasional check-in from the sales team. We were also able to take our time with no stress or pressure — even took a lunch break before coming back to make our purchase. Clean, organized store. Definitely recommend!

If i could give zero stars i would. My wife and i were looking at a chair that was on sale and asked the salesman if it was real leather. He looked up the info on his phone and said it is real leather. Then explained the type of leather it was. When we got home, we were looking up specs on the chair and it says this chair is faux leather. This salesman lied to our face and the tag said “all sales are final”!! It is pathetic that this person had to lie to get a sale. Do not shop here!!

The experience was great not real sure of the name of the lady helping me but she walked up right away an was very helpful I would recommend her to anyone an she was as nice as can be nicer than the women at home lol
Worst experience ever. I ended up in the store because the online store advertised a product, confirmed the order and delivery date, then 3 days later told me two of the items were discontinued and no longer available, but they still advertise them today as available with 4-6 week delivery. Not to mention shipped the third accent piece that was useless without the rest of the set. So in the store I go, I sat on a piece of furniture and told the associate I want this one, just like this but not a sleeper. They told me about a special deal that I took but when I checked out, one item was not available for over a month and they would not deliver them until they were all available, unless I split the order in two, which now meant I did not qualify for the special offer. I should have walked out. I continued and was given papers to sign. The papers had a picture of a different color item than I wanted and I asked the girl, did you order the right color, she said yes this is just a picture they put on there don't worry I checked the scews. Mistake. Items got delivered today. They didn't look like the right color but they also didn't look like the pictures on the website of the color I didn't want, but the scew numbers matched the delivery tickets soI wasn't sure if I made a bad color choice or if the order was wrong. I went to the store immediately and realized this was not the right color and they had messed up. Once the associate got off her personal phone call long enough to help me she confirmed they had the product in the store marked wrong and it was there mistake. However, I got a lot of well you accepted it along with other unpleasant attitude. Colors look different in stores then they do in your house. Until I was able to research the scew numbers and go back to the store and see what I told them I wanted I could not be 100% sure it was wrong or if I misjudged color. I doubt the non-English speaking delivery persons were going to be much help with that dilemma anyway. Now I'm being told a month for exchange but maybe one piece can be available Friday. Ashley furniture as a whole has mis-lead, provided false information and simply acted in bad faith at every step of the process. This is a horrible company to do business with.

The Sales team here were all professional. My sales lady was Ashley. I hate shopping for furniture and this store made it so easy. I wasn't greeted at the door by a crew of 12 sales people trying to lock me in. I seriously hate that..it's like vultures on a prey. At Ashley Furniture they were not like that at all. One young lady greeted me at the door and during my looking phase I actually had 2 other sales people stop to comment as well. Including the manager. 10 stars if I could and hoping that delivery goes just as smoothly. Thanks

It was pretty helpful. Our saleswoman Tiffany helped us and did a great job assisting us with giving her personal input into our living room when we were torn and she did very well for us. I would recommend going to Ashley. Especially since sundays they are open compared to most places who are closed. Go on a weekend and get a special interaction from one of their sales people. Went to Ashley of Houma this past weekend looking for a Sectional Sofa and received great customer service the minute I walked in the door from a sales associate named Tiffany. She kept in good personal contact with me throughout the process of my search which made finding a new couch so much easier.

Customer service is horrible. I purchased a bedroom set and was told it would be delivered in 2 days. I didn’t receive it so I called customer service, I have talked to 4 people so far and 3/4 were rude. Decided to go to the store I purchased from which is in Houma. A lady at the desk informed me I didn’t have a date for delivery and apologized. She told me she would put me on a “ high priority list” and call me. This was two weeks ago no phone call no furniture. I’m extremely I rested because when I call customer service I get told I will get it in two weeks and it never changes. Horrible experience and I’m getting close to canceling my order and just getting a refund.

I’m utterly disgusted it’s been 5 months since we purchased a bedroom set with Rip off Ashley Furniture we have about given up on a $700 broken dresser that was delivered we’ve contacted them several times sent dozens of emails with nothing

Be ready for the run around. We went in on 03/08/23 purchased a large amount of money in furniture. We had to purchase furniture for whole house, due to Hurricane Ida. Service was great when we were shopping and spending all our money. We set up delivery "we were told no fee" we were charged $500.00 delivery. On 03/23/23 we went in to buy king mattress that we were told was always in stock. Well guess what. We went and it was not. So of course they try to sell another one same kind just different brand and they will price match the other one. So, according to them we received a huge discount. They refused to use $100.00 coupon we had b/c item was being sold as discount. We needed a mattress to sleep on so my husband took that one home. Well, that night was horrible. The mattress did not do well to our backs. I called fist thing in the morning and spoke to associate she said sometimes need to keep it for 30 days. I informed her i did not need 30 days to know if we liked it. She had to get with a manager. Well, behold, no return policy! Once in your posetion its yours. No return on anything! On 03/24/23 delivery was made of remaining furniture. Delivery driver pulled down cable wire with his truck. So there went that service. First wrong furniture loaded into home. Delivery guy argued with me stating it was my order. Then he took it back to truck. He then found my correct order of bed set, coffe table, and sectional sofa. I stated I needed to inspect furniture b/c that's what Houma store said to do. He said it doesn't matter if I inspect it he puts nothing back on his truck anyway. I would have to keep it if it is damaged and call store within 72 hours and they deal with it. Well parts for sectional were wrong and missing section of it. Informed the driver, in which he said call store. So, I called store while he was in home and informed them of what he states. Ashley furniture put in the wrong order for my sectional. So, delivery guy left my home. We were missing bed rails and sofa wedge. Along with wrong chase and arm chair of the sectional. Took pictures of what we had to inform store. I went back to work. Hours later the delivery driver calls and says he found the sofa wedge and armless chair. He will drop it off at Houma store if I can't meet him at Sam's. I was not taking off of work again for the foolishness. After work I went home very frustrated by this point. Around 4 delivery driver calls and says he is on the way to my house. He arrived apologizes for everything. He delivered by bed rails and the wedge. So we were able to put king bedset together. So, now the sofa had the wrong arm chair and chase. Houma store called and sid they will fix the issue. On 03/28/23 Ashley furniture associate called four us to go the Houma store to pick up wedge for sectional. I advised we didn't need one it had been delivered. I had to email a picture of ALL of my furniture to them to prove what we had. 03/31/23 went into store due to them calling again. I showed them pictures of what I had and explained what we truly ordered. We were charged for the larger sectional. The manager printed the paperwork and wrote a ferund should be given within 72 hours. Delivery was set for 04/05/23 for the correct sectional pieces. The delivery driver took incorrect parts and replaced with proper parts. Finally it was correct. On 04/27/23 the credit still not applied. Online assist states I will not get credit. Suggestions were go to the store and take care of it. I live 40 minutes from this location. I called to speak to manager who wrote a refund would be done. Well she is not there and she is supposed to call me.i guess wish me luck or a lawyer will be contacted for all of the mess and stress of this. Overall I'm happy with my bedset, coffee table, and sectional. Hope yall experience is better.

Will never purchase anything here again, Ashley is no longer the quality name they used to be. Visited about a month ago, and after running through several financing options, decided to purchase sectional with CASH. Left the store with the receipt, completely paid for. Received a notification that I had a newly opened account on my credit report 2 weeks later. I call the company and am informed that the account was opened by Ashley furniture and that I have a balance of over $900???? Umm...no. So I call Ashley and am informed by the huffy and rude employee who answered the phone that all financing shows as canceled on their end and that they will call the company to clarify, then call me back- still waiting. How do you open a new account under my name without me signing paperwork? Never again ! Now I have to deal with the hassle of straightening out this mess and having this fraudulent activity removed from my credit report!!! They also did not mention the 6 inch rip in the leather of the base of the couch that I now have to order a patch for. Wth????

We love Tiffany! She was so sweet, friendly and helpful. She helped us pick out beds for our girls and she was so lovely to them as they climbed and ran around the store like maniacs. If there was a question she could not answer right away, she was eager to find the answer for us. We needed to buy new furniture for our new home, and we did our research and compared prices. We found exactly what we wanted, and we went in to Ashley’s to see everything in person. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. They did not try to sell us anything or pressure us to buy on the spot. We were able to return and spend less than 45 minutes ordering everything we wanted. It was expensive, but we were able to get a great deal during their sale. They are supposed to deliver everything before April 1st, and that is much more quickly than we had anticipated going in to the store. We recommend the Ashley’s in Houma 100%.

Tiffany Sanchez Theriot was an amazing sales associate! She considered what was a best option for us and not just the most expensive product. She worked within our budget and home style. She never tried to sell us something we didn’t want. She respected our opinion and told us the truth, regardless if it was best for her or not. Tiffany definitely did what she could to help us out and was amazing with our wild child son. I would definitely recommend going to Ashley and seeing Tiffany. Buying furniture from this store has been one of the worst purchasing experiences I have ever had. Their customer service doesn't exist and it feels like their business model is just to run you around till you give up and they keep their money and you get broken pieces and parts of what you ordered months after you ordered it, and then, try and charge you more to deliver the missing parts. They are more slimy than a pawn shop, stay away.
Our experience with Ashley is not an experience I want to revisit. Our salesperson was more worried about selling us extra protection plans than making us feel comfortable with our purchase. She ended up checking someone else’s name when printing out the purchase order/ receipt. If we wouldn’t have caught it, we would have purchased a table for someone else. The delivery man gave us 3 different times before showing up and we have unstable chairs and scratches on our floor.

I purchased a king sized bed from Ashley in Houma. I was promised delivery 3 different times before it was actually delivered. The first 2 times I was given dates for delivery and never contacted so I took off of work to be there that day and no one contacted or showed until I contacted them and they act like they never called. Then when they finally deliver, pieces are missing. I had to take it upon myself to call and tell them pieces were missing. I was apparently told incorrectly what was missing and the store also had no idea what was missing. I am told that they will ship all the parts to me. I get in some hardware and hooks. Still not accurate. Get told again they will send parts to me. Another time not accurate. Morrigan in Houma wanted to argue that all the parts are there. I would not be complaining if they were not there. I paid for white plume and did not get this service as I still do not have all the parts to my bed. When I call a third time, Morrigan will not even come to the phone. She has someone else tell me they can give me back my delivery fee. Not sure my delivery fee will get me far with a bed that can’t be built and still have missing parts.
This is the worst experience dealing with costumer service, if i could give a 0 stars I’ll do it… waiting more than a month to get my money back

First and last time there! My husband and I are shopping for new furniture and went to many furniture stores yesterday for Black Friday. The stores we went to had great customer service and Black Friday deals. But before purchasing, we decided to have a look at Ashley's to see what deals they may have had. When we walked in, we were greeted from across the store by a lady sitting behind a counter. She never got up. We continued to walk the store and view their inventory. As we passed throughout the store, some of the sales associates were helping customers with what looked like financing as they sat with laptops and conversed about what they were purchasing. Other sales associates were alone at computers. We made our way all around the store, back to the front, and stopped to discuss a sofa set we were interested in. While we were discussing the set, a guy and his daughter passed us and looked at a set nearby. They had just entered the store. One of the sales associates, a short Caucasian lady with dark black or brown hair, passed my husband and I and went to ask the man with his daughter did he need help with anything. He told her no and that he was just looking. She proceeded to tell him to let her know if he needs help with anything and she was getting ready to walk away in the opposite direction. My husband then yelled out to her "Ma'am. We are shopping too." She then turned around and came back and was like "I'm sorry. No one helped you." We told her no and that we'd walked the whole store and no one has helped us. My husband also informed her that it was rude of her to pass by us because we are customers as well. He also stated, "It's 2022 and some things never change." She then responded with this smirk/laugh. Which was unprofessional. So, my husband was like "Ma'am, there's nothing funny about that. We can take our business elsewhere." She didn't even try to make it right as her response was "Do you want to leave?" So, we decided to leave. It's unfortunate because we were ready to finalize a set we had our eyes on and we had just left a furniture store with great prices and customer service to go to Ashley's and leave with nothing. What a waste of time. Edit: And looking at the reviews with 1 or 2 stars, it doesn't look like they will address the issue but rather respond here with the same copy and paste message they are responding to everyone with.

Horrible service. Been waiting on chairs/barstools to be delivered for over a year. Will NEVER spend my money there again. I’ll drive hours away for better service. Literally told my items will be delivered in 6-8 weeks since the order was placed on 03/21/21.

I wish I could this establishment 0 stars. I recently decided to purchase a bedroom set after being told it would be delivered in 7-10 days. I was told they would contact me in 72 hours to arrange delivery. After several days I contacted the store and was then told it would be around 3-4 weeks because there was a delay from the warehouse. No big deal, I thought, I know some places can get behind. I called after 3 weeks to check on my order and was told it would now be anywhere from 21-23 weeks. I went to the store and was told that they had made a mistake and sold me a set that was out of stock. Yet, the "in stock" sign was still being proudly displayed on the dresser in the store. I was given a full refund thankfully. I have told this story to as many people as I could find. I can't wait to go buy furniture elsewhere. Also, best of luck to anyone using this store and trying to call and ask for updates. The automated answering service is about a big of a joke as the delivery timelines. Even the workers told me they too have trouble talking to anyone. They had "to put a ticket in" to find out more info on my order. An absolute joke of an establishment.
my wife went today to buy my birthday present she had my bank card the sales lady wouldn't look up the past purchases to match the dresser then because she didn't have her I.D. with her the lady wouldn't take the card told her to come back with cash if she wanted to buy it but no thank you we will do all further business with Louis Mohana furniture in Bourg La. my wife said she felt like she was treated like a 2nd class citizen
I wish I could give 0 stars. I just had the worst experience of my life with any company. EVER. Getting this delivery scheduled was a nightmare to begin with. I stay home all day today waiting on my delivery. I get a call from a dispatcher telling me they are outside of my home waiting for me. No one is at my home. I go outside, look down the street and see the Ashley furniture delivery drivers parked at the very end of my street in a dead end zone but they reported that they were at my home and I was not there. When I walked down the street and told them I was home waiting for the delivery he said “ok mam” then they took off out of my neighborhood! They purposefully reported that I wasn’t home to avoid having to complete my delivery! I seriously cannot believe this just happened! I cancelled the order and I am NEVER BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!

I have been promised my furniture delivery 6 different times; and finally got a partial delivery yesterday. I was sent a list of pieces that were not on the truck. No one seems to know what the problem is. This store just gives me the runaround. As far as the delivery service, I am very satisfied with them. They can only bring what they’re given. I chose Ashley because of the quality, but the service is terrible. It seems like I’m not the only one disappointed with them.

Twice I placed orders at two stores( Baton Rouge and Houma). They both lied, I have emails and text messages to corroborate! Both orders have been cancelled. It is my opinion that their management needs some reorganization and direction or they need to close their doors. I will never use Ashley Furniture again!!
I absolutely must say the customer service is terrible! I purchased multiple items which included a tempurpedic mattress that after 30 days wasn't working out so since no one ever answers the phone we had to go back in and exchange for a different one.Fast forward a few weeks later we get a call to set up the delivery (which has changed several times)and nothing about the new mattress. My husband texted the girl who helped us and no response. So again I have to go in cause no one answers the phone only to find out there was nothing in the computer about an exchange. The thing that really was upsetting is that the manager seemed to care less or even apologetic that the employee made a mistake. If I could have gotten a refund I would have taken my business elsewhere. I'm saying this in hopes changes can be made, thank you!

First they opened multiple lines of credit in my name without approval, just received cards in the mail when I made it clear I could not take out lines of credit since I was in the home buying process. Then three months later without any furniture, I’ve taken off twice for “furniture delivery” without anyone showing up with my stuff. When you call you just excuses and a new delivery date. Never can you get any reply from a manager about complaints. They don’t care a bit.
I fell in love with my comfortable recliner from the first time I sat in it. I can’t wait to have it shipped and receive at my Home. I know I will be so happy to have my recliner.

I do not recommend trusting your business with Ashley’s, I placed an order months ago and was told my order would be delivered in 4 weeks. A month past and I called to follow up because I didn’t not receive and follow up call, email nothing and was told my order would be ready in another 4-5 weeks. I called 3 weeks later to follow up and was told my order would be delivered Aug 25th which was another 3 weeks away at the time. Today is Aug 23 I called to confirm my delivery and was told my order would be ready mid September. It is completely unprofessional and they make no effort to keep you updated on your order after spending thousands with them. 0/5 stars.
Delivery for my mattress wasn’t that good. No communication day of delivery. Had to call to find out anything. Took 3 hours just to get my bed frame at the actual store. Other then that customer service was decent in the store.
Ashley Stores are always set very pretty. We knew what we wanted and Quintus was there to help with the manager not only on a living room set but, sold us a mattress, pillows, bed cover. Mind you from the bed to the pillows is cooling. They were amazing. Thank you Ashley from Mark and Gail Miller
I have had the WORST experience with getting anyone from Customer Service to return my phone call concerning DAMAGED furniture that was delivered to my home. I cannot get ANYONE from the SUPPLY CHAIN to call me back with a status update. After multiple calls and promises from Customer Service that a manager will call within 48 hours, it has been over three weeks with nothing!! I am so disappointed with this company's CUSTOMER SERVICE and the LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE AND FOLLOW UP. I did call my local store, Houma, La. and The local store has been very helpful and are now working to help me to hopefully get a resolution.
We spent thousands of dollars with this company and we waited months to get our furniture in and they kept giving us the run around. When it finally did come in all the parts weren’t there so we had half a sectional sofa, a month or so later we had to go pick up the other piece and when we got home it was damaged we are still currently waiting for the new piece. The bedroom set they brought to us was the night stands, dresser, head board, and mattress they were missing the foot board and boards with the slates so we didn’t have a bed to sleep in, when those parts came in they were damaged so they said they would replace it, months later they said they discontinued it so we have to reselect something, we asked for a refund they said okay we can do that well a week later they said no we can’t do that, so now we have to reselect a whole new bedroom set. I don’t want to deal with them anymore I should get a full refund with all this mis communication they have and they lie about delivery dates.

I bought 4 recliners on June 23, 2022, in the Houma store. I was lucky to be able to pay the recliners in cash instead of their financing options. I feel as though I was completely mislead by the sales consultant about arrival dates of my furniture. She said the recliners should be delivered by July 5th or a week later. After multiple calls and waiting 30 plus minutes each call to speak to a human, I finally was able to speak to Amber, a manager at the store. According to manager, there is nothing that can be done about the rockers not being available until mid August. I feel I was completely mislead about the arrival date of my purchase. The manager stated that was not there fault I was given the wrong or unrealistic dates. She was not the best at customer service in this situation. Basically, it was a “Oh Well, nothing I can do”conversation. Please be advised it is extremely difficult to speak to a representative once a purchase is made. I’m truly disappointed in this major transaction/purchase phase. Hopefully, my recliners are worth the wait. The in store customer service was wonderful, but the phone customer service was nonexistent.

there for over an hour and not one employee said anything to us. the one person who actually noticed us before we left was willing to help us but she had to finish up with her customer. we thanked her but decided to walk out. just because a person does not walk into a store wearing Tommy Hilfiger does not mean they don't have money to spend. we were going to spend between $8000-$10000 on new furniture but will go elsewhere.
Bee was very helpful and went the extra step by providing her number and saving mine so we can coordinate viewing mattresses for my disable mother. That’s going above and beyond that most wouldn’t bother with. The store is immaculate, you wouldn’t ever believe hurricane Ida damaged it. I’m glad I waited for them to open back up.

I purchased my sectional on June 21' given a delivery date that came and went. I thought I would receive my furniture so discarded my old set and went without a sofa for several months while constantly contacting Ashley as they would change the delivery date again and again without notifying me. Finally my sectional was delivered November 21' but I was missing a piece and was told by the Houma store I would receive my final piece and not have to pay a new delivery fee. It's been three months and I am still without a complete sectional. I was notified my order was canceled upon calling to check on the delivery date. Customer service has been horrible. I am told to order another piece at Ashley but now the Houma location is closed. I'm given the run around via emails and calls to corporate. I should be given my original price for my piece and not have to go pay delivery as this is no fault of mine. This experience has been draining and unprofessional, to say the least. Nobody should be treated this way.
At first, we were impressed with the furniture, but now we are extremely disappointed. We ordered my son's bedroom set in August and also a down payment on our Posturepedic bed. Hurricane Ida passed at the end of the month. In October, they called and wanted to deliver the bed but the house we were buying was damaged by the hurricane. So we asked them to wait. And they did. So when we were able to get into our new home, we called and they delivered it. They didn't have enough inserts and told me someone would call me in 7-10 days to set up an appointment to come back. 9 days later I called them. They knew nothing of the sort and he said he would order the part and someone would call to set up an appointment to come finish with the bed. Over a week later, still no call. So this time I got me husband to call. They didn't have anything in their records of me calling and no inserts had been ordered. So he said he would do it. So we finally got the inserts about a week ago. My husband called and they told him someone would call within 48 hours to set up an appointment time to come install them. He keeps calling every other day and they keep telling him the same thing. We are getting very tired of getting the run around! My son hasn't been able to sleep in his bed since we moved in! This has been terrible customer service and we are extremely dissatisfied!
I have been paying on my Ashley store card religiously for years. I never had problems up until I needed help the most! I bought a $4000 sofa set with them a couple years back including $500 furniture insurance. I recently lost my sofa set because of hurricane Ida.. neither Ashley furniture NOR this so called “insurance” I bought will help me! They expect me to still pay off my remaining balance. I’ve asked for a partial discount, full discount and store credit for what I have left which isn’t much. And I’ve dealt with nothing but attitudes and rude behavior! I will NEVER shop here again and it sucks because I was planning on replacing all my furniture that was lost to ida at Ashley home store… worst feeling ever
Why No Zero Star Option? Or even negative star option? AVOID ASHLEY AT ALL COST!!! THERE ARE VERY DISHONEST!!! I ordered a chair on 7-29-21. My card was immediately charged (legitimate companies wait until the item in being delivered to charge your card). On 8-11-21, my chair was delivered BROKEN!!! I tried to report this on 8-12,8-13,8-14,8-16,8-17,8-18. On every attempt, I was told to try a different phone number. Finally I opened a dispute with my credit card company. Magically, I received a call from a representative that new parts were shipped out and when they arrived, someone would be scheduled to repair the chair. Strange because no one talked to me about what parts were needed to repair the chair. The wrong parts were shipped. And when they called to schedule on 9-7-21, I told them this. They said they were sending a new chair on 10-16-21. It is now 10-25-21. No Chair. No repair man. No phone call. No anything. Meanwhile, my credit card company closed the dispute because Ashley promised a new chair. Now, I am back to a run around trying to get my chair repaired. This is the worst customer service I have every experienced. The FTC needs to shut Ashley down. This is terrible!
I do not recommend going here. I waited months before my sofa was delivered. No one called me to tell me delivery would be late. Then to top it off the delivery drivers were very careless when moving it they ripped a hole in it and did not tell me.

Do not recommend this place. Service was great in the store very helpful finding the bed however little did I know I wouldn't get it in when said. I was given 7 different delivery dates for a bed I ordered in June. I was told 7 different excuses on why this bed had not been in yet. Also it is a hassle trying to get someone to remain on the line without the call failing. I am not impressed after spending $2,000 plus in this place. If you need your order asap best advice go elsewhere

I ordered a bed set, one night stand, one chest of drawers, and one dresser with mirror on 5/26 and was told it would be in about the 2nd week of July. Ok. No big deal. We’ll wait. We were leaving for vacation 7/17 and tried making delivery arrangements prior to leaving since all pieces were in. The automated system STILL scheduled the delivery for 7/22 even though we spoke to an actual person. While on vacation, we got a barrage of text messages saying they were, again, going to deliver 7/22. Got on the phone with another person and agreed to set the delivery for 7/28. Still received texts saying delivery was scheduled for 7/22. Called today after receiving ANOTHER text message. This time they said it was being delivered 7/29. He is on his way to the store as we speak to cancel a $2400 order because Ashley Furniture can’t get it together. I have NEVER seen such poor customer service and disorganization. The only way I’m not canceling the order is if it is delivered tomorrow…but let’s just say I’m not holding my breath. I will NEVER purchase another thing from Ashley Furniture.

Had a great experience at the Houma Ashley store with the staff helping me. I was able to order what I needed, they told me my order would be in stock at the warehouse and ready to ship out after they call me to schedule a date. Well now I’m finding out that the order is an estimated arrival on June 19 and they will call me at an estimated date for July 17th:/ Not very happy about this! Please people be aware of your out of stock orders and make them clarify their statements. I will be purchasing future orders somewhere else.

Terri Lynn was an exceptional sales person. She listened to all our stipulations and took the time time to help us find the perfect sectional that checked all of our boxes. She was very patient with us and never pushy. Her knowledge of the furniture pieces was incredible, we had a few other pieces of furniture we were looking at and she made the buying process a breeze. I will absolutely be back to purchase more from her.
Horrible experience receiving my order. Three days before delivery I received an email confirmation that my mattress and adjustable base would arrive June 3rd between 9 and 12. Trying to be ready for my new beds arrival i take apart my existing bed and make space for my new one. June 3rd arrives and 20 minutes before delivery I get a call stating the only thing coming today is the mattress and the base is back ordered. Just would love to know how in the world would you find this out 20 minutes before delivery after confirming that all would be delivered 3 days prior. Customer service said there is nothing that can be done and all they can offer is an apology. They have turned what was supposed to be a great day into a horrible experience and absolutely do NOT recommend this store. Go anywhere else. If I could post zero stars i would. Update: its June 26th and still haven't received the base. Delivery has been scheduled and confirmed multiple times only to be canceled morning of. Delivery was scheduled for the 4th time for today which I called and confirmed was just canceled as well. Management has done nothing. Once again this store has shown nothing but complete incompetence.

It's been 4 months still have not received my son's bedroom set. I understand everything is pushed back because covid-19 but this is totally unacceptable. Yes I'm not going to lie to have try to accommodate my account for the delays. But at this point is completely unacceptable we paid and purchase his bunk bed 12-18-20. We now April 26, 2021 and we still have not received his bed. I will never buy from Ashley's again and the sad part we are repeat customers I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Ashley I have furnished my whole house at Ashley's their customer service is horrible. Save yourself the trouble and go purchase from somewhere else. I tried to give them the opportunity to make it right before posting the negative review but after four months of waiting I'm so ready to cancel the order.

While our sales rep, Bea, was awesome to work with, the service provided by the store itself was and is less than desirable. It took forever to get our order ,which is expected I guess, due to Covid. However, you can't seem to get anyone on the phone to talk to when you call and when I finally did get someone to answer the phone, I wanted to speak to someone about providing a compliment on our delivery drivers and was told someone would have to call me back. They took my name and number but no one has called me back yet..and I called in February. As for the Ashley Cash promotion, that's a joke as well. We were supposed to get our vouchers up to two weeks after final delivery. Our final delivery was on February 13 and we still have not seen the Ashley Cash vouchers. I was told to call the rewards center who told me that Ashley never sent my information over. I had to send them a copy of my invoice and they would reach out to Ashley for verification. (Not sure why I should have to do someone else's job). That was two weeks ago and still no Ashley Cash. We are not talking high dollars here but if you're going to sell a promotion, HONOR IT and FOLLOW THROUGH. And I don't blame the rewards center...I blame Ashley because the Houma location's customer service after the sale is NOT commendable or reliable. I highly doubt we will purchase from here again.

I purchased a 3 pieces of living room furniture in Feb and I have been told 6 different times and dates. I think the worst part is the brutal honesty from 2 employees that Delivery just lies to customers with dates because they can't deal with angry customers. If you would be honest and just say it is not ready and there will be a delay it would work better. I know covid is playing part in the delay. PLEASE COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. 1. Received a text everything is in and ready to deliver. Called and it was confirmed that it was there. NOT TRUE 2. Called and then told power chair was not there but other 2 pieces were there and ready to deliver . NOT TRUE 3. Called and asked when was delivery and can it be on a Monday.. Guy was nice and then pretended to schedule me delivery but the store does not deliver on Sunday and Monday so guess what ....NOT TRUE. 4.Called Again and was told straight up DELIVERY PEOPLE LIE. and was rescheduled again.....guess what??? You guessed it no delivery. 5. Called again and was told April 6 Called to check ....NOT TRUE 6. Was told again that DELIVERY LIES and can't deal with the angry customers so they LIE. 7. Called and spoke to the credit manager and was given a REAL WORLD ANSWER THAT MADE SENSE and should have be explained before. THE LEAST YOU ALL CAN DO IS CALL THE CUSTOMER AND SPEAK TO THEM. THE NO CONTACT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. JUST PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE LASHING AND TAKE IT LIKE A CHAMP. You all have no idea how inconvenienced you make your customers. COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY TO ANY SUCCESFUL RELATIONSHIP. JUST USE YOUR WORDS. THEY WORK! IF YOU ARE SCARED TO TALK JUST EMAIL. THE WAITING AND WONDERING IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST THING EVER. I went in to buy a bed. I came out with not only a bed but with a college degree in Bedding with a minor in Sleep Habits. My, how times have changed! The process was extremely interesting but it was difficult making a decision with so many choices. Tammy, my sales advisor, helped me in the process and now I will put my new knowledge to the test on a Sterns Foster.

Had a very pleasant experience and Danelle really helped us and answered all questions we had. She didn’t rush us she made us feel very welcomed. We went it with just planning on buying a recliner but then fell in love with a sofa so we got both and plan on getting the matching loveseat in the future. She asked us about our mattress and after listening to the information and trying one out we ending up purchasing the moveable base and we hope to be able to go back soon and get the new mattress to help with my back problems. Definitely would recommend to people to go there and talk with her for help.

It was still under warranty and I sent pictures off to get repairs or parts. It looked as if their should have been more bed rails. their were only 3 rails for a king size bed. tried contacting them 3 times to see what parts were ordered and no one could tell me. I check my mailbox to find a baggy of screws. contacted them again and told me that all was ordered was screws to fix a cracked bed rail. Finally got them to agree to just take it back because by this point we had slept on the floor a month. Still can't get them to pick up thier pos bed frame and no refund. I am literally about to throw the frame out in front of mlk drive for all of Houma to see.

They take your money and promise a few weeks delivery. Then three months later they can't promise when your furniture will be delivered.

Store has a nice selection and is bigger than it looks! We were looking for a particular bed frame and walked the entire store looking for it. Walked past two sales people who looked like they didn't want to be there and made no effort to greet us when they were clearly not busy. We kept walking and came upon a third sales person who was finishing up talking with a different set of customers. While he did say hello, he never paused to ask us if anyone was helping us or if we had been greeted. Now I understand he might have been going on break or take care of other business, but he could have at least passed us off to someone who could have helped instead. After heading back towards the bed we had taken a liking to, we were finally greeted by a nice lady who walked used through the entire sale. She not only helped with our questions about the bed, she helped us pick out a mattress, and gave us space to discuss our feelings without putting pressure on us. She spent a lot of time catering to our needs and budget while thoroughly explaining everything. She was a very good sales person by pushing the sale (as her job demands her to do) without scaring us out the door and remaining honest. We made our purchase with her and asked for her card since we'll be looking for a couch in the near future. Despite debating leaving after being ignored/brushed off by three others, we're very content with the sales person we ended up with.

Horrible horrible horrible experience!! Ordered my furniture on June 20, 2020 and I have yet to receive my sofa set 6 months later!! My sofa NEVER made it to my house which they said I received on Oct 7 but it was forgot to put on the truck. Personally I think someone is enjoying my sofa for free!! My rocker love seat came broken which they picked up on Nov 14 and I have yet to see that too and mind you I am paying on this crap that I do not have!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANY THING FROM ASHLEY'S!! Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere!!! Very bad business!! Better business bureau is where I'm headed next!!
I absolutely love coming to Ashley’s Furniture Store ! Every time I go there I have a very amazing experience. The staff works with me so well and knows what I want. They make me feel as if the furniture is already in my home and I get to try out every piece of furniture. I purchased a bedroom, mattress, sofa, and ding room table with them and haven’t been upset with any of it. I recently purchased another couch due to moving in a new place but I still love my old couch. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

My initial purchase experience was great. But after purchase, the issues began. I purchased a king bed and mattress with a delivery and setup date of 12/10/2020. Everything except the footboard was delivered so the bed could not be setup. I can understand that issues arise. But the footboard is now on its third delay and we have been sleeping on the mattress on the floor. When I asked why the footboard wasn't flagged as undeliverable since it is needed for the bed, they claim that when the ticket includes other items are can be delivered the order doesn't show an issue. From a programming aspect, this should be an easy thing to fix/program. This whole experience has been disappointing and a headache. As this was a gift/surprise for my wife, to have her come home to sleeping on the floor is making me regret this purchase. Also, when all the items except the footboard was delivered, I had asked the delivery person whom to contact about this issue. He noticed that I was unhappy and even remarked, "That sounds like Ashely." So apparently, Ashley delivery issues are not out of the ordinary. I highly doubt I ever do business with them again unless something changes.

I give them a one star. The service while we was in the star was excellent. The problem was they said delivery was 6 to 8 weeks, was longer. Ordered it sept 11, 2020. They brought some of the furniture, they was supposed to bring the rest nov 12 never called or showed up, then they said 27th again never called or showed up they just brought my foot board at 7 pm today and never called just popped up and we had just left had to go back home and they at first just wanted to leave it outside we said no and we still don’t have all our furniture

Visited the Houma store today and we were VERY pleased to be allowed to browse at our leisure for as long as we wanted- no pushy salespeople! Once we decided on our purchases we were able to get assistance almost immediately, AND she found us discounts we did not even know were available! The cost of delivery and setup is a bit higher than we anticipated (2 chairs-$129🤔😳) but overall well worth our visit. We will shop here again.

The associate, Danielle, who we have used before at the Houma, LA store, saw us walk through the door and immediately welcomed us. She remembered what we liked and had us taken care of quickly. I am giving 1 star because I am currently walking the floor of Ashley and I am CONSTANTLY being followed by the salesman. When we walked in he only asked for my husband’s name (like I didn’t exist) and my husband specifically told him “We are only looking and if we needed him we will find him.” We make sure to let this be known because I DO NOT LIKE BEING FOLLOWED AROUND WHILE I SHOP! My husband and I are trying to talk in private about price and layout of our home and he keeps walking close enough to hear. I’m now leaving because I don’t like to be bothered while I browse!
In store service was great but delivery however was horrible not very professional people (pants should be worn at the waist with a belt not showing boxers) and having kids home was the worst part my whole order wasn’t even there

Very friendly and helpful. Walked through the store and was shown details in each set of furniture. We were shown depth of storage and we had some demonstrations of some of the furniture we were looking at. They worked with us to get us the best deals and offered their warranty coverage for all of our furniture purchased. One of the best shopping experiences we have had.
I feel a bit bamboozled! We went in to buy a mattress and the customer service was amazing. We even prayed with our sales associate. However, while buying a mattress, we were told it could be traded. While that is true, WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT IF YOU TRADED A MATTRESS FOR A CHEAPER ONE, WE COULD NOT GET THE DIFFERENCE BACK. If you buy a mattress here, start with a cheaper one. If you don’t like it, you can work your way up in price. (Also know that you can only make one trade and then you are required to keep the second mattress you try - which I understand, but it’s good to know before you make the purchase). However, if you buy an expensive mattress and make a trade, you lose money!
found a cute dining room set. Can’t wait til it comes in and gets delivered. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Update:: I ordered my table and chairs on August 14th, here it is October 10th, and I still haven’t received my order. The only communication I receive is when I go to the store I purchased it from. I was told my table was available in August but it was the chairs we was waiting on, but early to mid September should be ready. Well, it wasn’t. I’m really tired of the wait, I’m sure others have experienced the same. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this.

I usually get all my furniture from my local Ashley's. I was sad to see my normal sales person gone, but got to get my new sofa, loveseat and dining table from Mrs. Denice Burke she was friendly, helpful, and attentive even on visits after purchase. Even though I have not received my purchase yet, she tried hard to find me what I wanted.... Now as for Ashley's new inventory system.....that deserves a 0 🌟 rating it is truly upsetting to have a store that I have picked up two sofa sets and 4 mattress to having to wait months now to get my order. That is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.....

Has been a nightmare from day one...First time searching for furniture had issues with the financial aspect, The 3rd party credit party they use to have credit approvals reported me dead...so that screwed that up...Got my finances in order and purchased over 8600 dollars in furniture for my new home. Delivery department appears to have fun pissing people off...I have been rescheduled a total of 7 times...Bought in July, still waiting for items...4 items that actually were delivered was damaged and waiting on 2 of those to be replaced...My order was suppose to be finally completed this Thursday, but guess what....got another notification that none of my items will get delivered...So I called Ashley and my Daughter called as well at the same exact time asking about future deliveries. The person my daughter was on the phone with said there would be 2 seperate deliveries to complete, while the girl (Detinee) I was on the phone with said she still showed us getting the same delivery for This Thursday...Ashley has no idea how to do business...DO NOT SHOP THERE!!Oh and one of the items I am still waiting for is not even the piece I wanted, the salesperson ordered the wrong one...so instead of changing the screw up and probably have to wait another year for it, I left it alone...TRUST ME...DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY...UNLESS YOU LIKE TO MISS WORK AND LOSE PAY FOR NOTHING!!
I absolutely wasn’t going to share my experience, but I feel I owe it to future customers. I ordered a bedroom set and desk for my daughter. First delivery was scheduled 1:30-4:30. I called at 5pm to see where the delivery guy was. The manager said I didn’t answer my phone which was not true. He called the delivery guy and he indeed did not call. I received my delivery at 8pm. The guys were done setting up and 3 pieces were missing. The next day, I setup another delivery date. The delivery was from 4:00-7:00 pm 5 days later. Set around. No delivery. Called the store no answer. 2 days later and SEVERAL calls, still no answer. Horrible service. If I could find the same furniture elsewhere, I would just ask for a refund.
First off I’m going to start my review stating that this was an purchase through a chat with a representative online. When I first inquired about the item (a dresser) I asked what was my delivery date if I bought my items on a certain day. I was told my delivery day was august 2nd. So I proceeded to buy the dresser and I realized I wasn’t sent an order number. The only thing I had was an invoice but I wanted an order number for my records. I called multiple times and was told they couldn’t give it to me. Moreover I after calling for three days straight to get connected to the right person the order number they gave me was incorrect. ALSO I was told my order had been rescheduled for the fifth. The only reason I found out was because I had called THEM. That should’ve been the other way around. Days pass by and it’s the 3 or 4th and I haven’t heard anything confirming delivery so I call again only to find out that somehow my order had been marked as on LAYAWAY. I had payed for this dresser weeks ago and it’s already out of my account but somehow was marked as layaway ?! They told me that since this was done they had no more in stock and I would have to wait probably up until oct 21. Which is ridiculous. I asked for some kind of compensation and they told me no because they are able to change dated whenever... my dresser finally came into over a month of the first date I was given.THE ONLY UPSIDE TO THIS ORDER, was that the delivery team was super nice and respectful of my home. I’m really disappointed in Ashley furniture store and their communication team. The fact that I had to call and find out about my furniture due dates a total of 3-4 times is ridiculous, they should have been the ones to call me if my order was delayed. I will NEVER be purchasing from this company again.

We were supposed to have our order delivered today sept 1st between 330 and 630. Its now 8 and no one has called or messaged and they have still NOT shown up. We confirmed this delivery SEVERAL TIMES... We called the number provided to confirm, we confirmed with the store, and we confirmed through the automated link that was texted to us. This is the SECOND time we were supposed to be receiving delivery. Last time, about a week ago, we received a text message to pick a delivery day and they would call us 48 hrs before that day to give us a time. They never called then either. We had to call the store, explain we never got a delivery time, only to find out - oh that text must have been sent in error, your not actually scheduled for delivery today. But would you like to schedule. What the heck. Now we can't call anyone about our current second no show bc the only number available is for the store which doesn't open until 10 tomorrow. So glad we were given a window to sit and do nothing - but oh wait we cant sit bc we don't have any furniture. Lovely. ** this morning update. They say they don't know what happened, I should have received delivery. Well I didn't. So now they want to reschedule us for the 8th. Another week out. We were scheduke August 26 and they no called no showed. Then scheduled Sept 1 and they no called no showed. Now all they can do is reschedule me again and apparently there is no manager or anyone I can speak too about this. All they can offer it for me to wait another week for a 3rd delivery. Why am I paying you $200 in delivery when you can't even afford to show up or call when your not going to. *** NEW NEW UPADATE! We were scheduled for delivery today Sept 8th between 9 and 12. AND GUESS WHO NO CALLED AND NO SHOWED FOR THE 3RD TIME. Warehouse could ONLY tell us they could rescheule us again. So now we have had a no call no show Aug. 26th. Sept 1st. And Sept 8th. We ordered this furniture forever ago and its been in stock for a month! But I cant seem to get it delivered and I'm not allowed to pick it up! **** its now sept 15th. We were supposed to receive delivery today. They actually for the first time ever called us yesterday to tell us delivery is now scheduled for the 19th! The 19th will be our now 5th reschedule. Told us nothing they could do. Then, THIS MORNING, I get a text to pick delivery day for the 22, 23, or 24th. When I call the warehouse to tell them no we ate scheduled for the 19th they say thats no longer possible and pick one of these new dates. So make that the NOW 6 TIMES WE HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED. but told not to worry she feels good it will arrive this time! All on top of us probably having a baby in the next 2 weeks! This is a nightmare that just won't end!!! And nono e from the escalation department will get back to us.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! They are great until you pay and then it’s HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They blame it on COVID-19 but that’s just an excuse. COVID can delay your delivery to an extent, but it shouldn’t have anything with delaying your customer service you receive. Regional manager and store manager is incompetent! They lie to get your money and you don’t receive your items. Then tell you to it will take 4-6 weeks to get CASH back!!! It didn’t take me 4-6 weeks to pay you!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!!
Where do I start? I had been shopping for a new bed and decided to go to Ashley furniture. I always shop around. But when Kristi took the time to explain things to where I can understand them, I listened. I not only bought a bed, I bought a custom fitted bed that my wife and I truly believe will be a good investment. Ashley furniture made this easy and painless. Kristi the comfort specialist explained everything very well, her knowledge of the products was superb. She took her time, gave us her full attention, and didn't rush us or make us feel like we were being rushed. Look if you need a new bed go see Kristi and you will not be disappointed. Horrible customer service. Bought over 12,000 of furniture. Made sure all was n stock before placing order. Delivery of furniture was confirmed multiple times only to get it cancelled 30 minutes later. Cancelled my order going on a week without getting refund. Left multiple messages and emails for store manager still have not heard anything. Got corporate number only to say it’s not working number.
I called several times, tried hitting different buttons, could not get a live person on the line for anything.

My experience with your company has been so frustrating and the absolute worse experience I have ever been through on a purchase. From the beginning, my order was set up to be delivered as it comes in so I wasn’t waiting on items while others were not available. I have no living room furniture or bedroom furniture at my home so timely delivery was/is important. I placed my order in store on 7/28 which took 3 hours because the sales associate, Dawn, didn’t know what she was doing. I felt like I was at a car dealership. I had everything picked out walking in and just needed to place the order. I was told some of my goods would be delivered on 8/25. I was never called to confirm the delivery nor called to be notified there was a delay. I called customer service to follow up on 8/27. I had also called a few times during weeks prior and each time you call customer service you are on hold for 30 minutes before you speak to someone. That itself is absurd and frustrating as a customer. I was told the order was delayed because not all of the items were available. I explained that my order was set up to deliver as things come in. Since then, I have been told my goods would be delivered on 9/3, then 9/4, then 9/5, now 9/9 or maybe 9/12. This has been a huge inconvenience to me as I have had to adjust my work hours and cancel personal plans because I was expecting furniture delivery. I have tried to cancel my order because of my experience with customer service and your company and was told I would be charged a restocking fee of 10% (nearly $500). How can I be charged a restocking fee when clearly the items are not even in stock. The store manager, Myra, is absolutely horrible and has given me no resolution and has not been available to speak on the phone and has not retuned my calls. I am fed up and want cancellation for my order with no penalty. I will never use your company again because of this experience.

Sales person was helpful and polite! Disappointed because delivery date was suppose to be Aug 20 for both sofa and loveseat! Now they put Delivery date for two different dates sofa to Sept 17 and Sept 29 We sold our other sofa set thinking it would of been on time! Also we tried calling Houma la store 5 times without anyone answering it kept getting recordingings!
We ordered a couch in June with a delivery date set for the beginning of July. The couch arrives completely damaged and was told someone from customer service would be reaching out to us. We waited 7 business days and had not heard anything so we had to reach out. At that time we were told that the couch is now on back order and it would be delivered at the end of August. Today is the delivery date and we had not gotten a call with a time they would be delivering. We called customer service and after an hour of being on hold we were told that it is now going to be delivered in September. We have been given 6 different numbers to call trying to get through to corporate, we finally get through and someone left us on hold for over two hours. Their office is now closed and we still have no answers. They’re the “number one“ furniture store for their customer service but we have yet to be helped?

I was informed then the dresser was on back order and out of stock until June 28th. I said that was fine and set up a delivery for the first week in a July. Well, I got a delivery notification a few days before the July delivery, but then late afternoon, the day before the delivery, I got a call that it was canceled. They rescheduled the delivery for July 28th, that was canceled again. Rescheduled for August 6th, canceled again. At this point I went into the store and Doug and Debbie were helpful. They escalated the situation and found a dresser that could be delivered August 14th. I was skeptical that it would be delivered, but accepted this final attempt before canceling. Well this dresser showed up, not in a box, all dinged up on the bottom, and part of the dresser peeling away. This is an unacceptable way to receive the dresser. The delivery persons told my husband to just refuse it, which we did, and they left. We called Ashley to complain to which then we were informed, we could've kept the dresser, until a new one arrived. Not my first choice to do, but I'm currently pregnant and almost due, so I felt that at least gave me the dresser I needed. Well we called the delivery crew back, they didn't answer. Debbie escalated a ticket to the warehouse to keep the dresser and redeliver. They never responded and sent the dresser back to the original warehouse. Ashley then stated our next delivery date wouldn't be until the first week of OCTOBER! Past my due date, and months after we purchased this dresser in MAY! We were told by this local Ashley had we just accepted the dresser it wouldn't be a problem. Well the delivery crew didn't tell us that, it was never discussed pre-delivery, and I didn't want to accept a damaged dresser and be stuck with it. Well we went to a local furniture store, Louis Mohana, bought them EXACT same dresser from them on a Tuesday, and had the dresser delivered Thursday in PERFECT condition. 2 days for delivery, compared to waiting for over 3 months with Ashely and another 1.5 months for the next delivery. 4.5 months is way too long for delivery. Especially when they take your money and hold onto it. From now on I will never deal with Ashley, and I will go right to Louis Mohana in the beginning. So thankful to them for finally getting me the dresser!

MR Mark was very helpful and understanding of our needs and found us the perfect sofa that was both budget friendly and very comfortable and Ms Angela helped us finance our furniture with ease and understanding .My husband and I will definitely come back soon

Dane is amazing! He is a very informed salesman who worked with me to get the furniture I needed at the best price! They are a no pressure sales team who genuinely have the customers needs as their top priority. January 2020. FAST FORWARD 7 months later. No Dane. The sales woman was curt. She did not have my interests at heart. Felt as though she just wanted a quick sale. I told her the item and its item number.. None in stock. Didn't stop Dane before. Apparently she does not know how to do her job. I love the furniture there but disgruntled at sales woman. Her name is Bea Bogue. She told me it was impossible to deliver to West Monroe. I came home, called the online shopping number. Gwen Richard was amazing! She got my order plus a couple of extra chairs to be delivered to my new home on a delivery day of my choice. She was knowledgeable regarding sales, promotions and, financing options. I will be buying all my furniture Gwen Richard in the near future. Bea Bogue needs to go! My rating went from 5 stars to 2 because of this frustrating shopping experience! So much for shopping in person...so disgusted with Bea Bogue!!!!

Horrible Delivery, my furniture was supposed to be sent the day before Fathers Day! When they finally delivered on that Saturday, the delivery people forgot the hardware to set up my bed frame and told me they would be back the same day or the next day! I never got a call back or notification of any kind. I called the customer service number numerous times with no response and it’s 2 weeks later and I still have no confirmation regarding my redelivery order. I have to sleep on a mattress on my floor and I have a cluttered room because they failed to have the proper equipment needed to set up my furniture.
Its been almost a month I ordered my furniture. They called me 3 times to continue rescheduling delivery. Then they only delivery one piece of furniture. Then on my new delivery date when my sofa was supposed to be here, no call stating they couldn't deliver. In order status it shows they were delivering to other locations and it just says "unable to start". Again NO CALL. why is it unable to start, why did I not get a call, why the constant rescheduling? Too many questions and no answer. Everytime I call the call either hangs up or says store is closed. I've had enough.
This place has it all! From fine pieces of furniture to first class sales reps! These people know their stuff and are willing to take their time to find exactly what you want! I have always shopped at Ashley when purchasing furniture for my home and would not do business anywhere else! First Class!

They store has such an amazing collection of furniture. From the moment I walked in the store was a great experience, Sybil the sales person was on the phone and acknowledge that I had entered the store In the middle of her phone conversation with another customer without the customer even knowing that she was attending to two people at the same time. When I was about to walk out of the store unable to make up my mind about what I wanted to buy she went beyond the call of duty and showed me decorations that can go with the piece of furniture I had changed my mind about buying. If I could give it a 0 I would. I have done business over the years with Ashley and this was my last straw. Majority of furniture was in horrible condition. I have had the same item delivered 7 times. After asking for redund I was told no! Only a store credit. I have no intentions of ever doing business with them after this last order. We are on 3 months of order and not a one manager has called or stepped in. I do understand your store is closed due to covid19 but, you can't tell me between Facebook and email both are shut down. Totally unacceptable how this has been handled. Also the drivers have marked my brand new wooden floors in the home. The bed they put together was a horrible job. Me nor my family will be doing business ever again after how we have been treated!

Bought furniture since February still dealing with damage goods , they finally got my couch set right after three times now fighting to get a cocktail table after 3 tables they delivered yet another damaged one again today , they also damaged my front door , still haven’t heard anything on that yet , also got my bill in they were supposedly give me credit for all my troubles did not get that either, so no I would not recommend and will never buy another penny there again

So I canceled my order and they took 10% processing fee. So now I’m out 100 dollars with no couch. Will no longer be doing business with people who do business like this

They were extremely helpful! My wife and I originally just went in to look around for things that we would buy in the near future, but seeing what they had to offer and the help that the different workers were able to offer made us decide to buy that day. We are excited to get our furniture in.
If I could give this location zero stars I would. I was suppose to get furniture last week and when they came they had half my order and the furniture wasnt even what I ordered not to mention they dropped it off the truck onto the concrete. So when we realized their mistakes, and I had thrown all my old furniture away, and having to go to the store twice they tell me I cant get my couch until 2 weeks from the original delivery date, but my table would come the 5th. Today I called to get the time of when it will be delivered and they tell me that now its not coming until the 14th, they never called or emailed to tell us this they just weren't going to show up. The incompetence of these sales associates and managers is totally unacceptable, I have no idea how they are still in business. If you can go anywhere else I strongly suggest you do because it will be weeks of cancelling and mistakes and excuses if you ever get what you ordered.

Call to store and go in person and the only thing they can do is authorize an exchange in hopes the next one will match! After two months and being jerked around all I want is them to pick it up and refund. The store managers can not authorize this it has to be sent to someone else so now I have to wait even longer before things are resolved! My suggestion is DO NOT SHOP THERE! It's not worth the hassle and lack of ability to quickly resolve issues. From what I understand this is a change to ALL Ashley's! There are better Choices! Ashley's sucks!

The most amazing furniture shopping experience ever. The rep ushered me around the store with genuine care and loads of knowledge to share on my specific item requests and needs. The rep then involved an expert to further explain the science behind choosing to right mattress for ultimate rest and total health and body rejuvenation. Do not buy from this store. We spent $30,000 in October of 2019. Our patio furniture chairs came in damaged and was made cheap. Two days after receiving the chairs till now we are fighting for a refund on the chairs. Then our reclining sofa cushions sank in and all they did was send replacement cushions and suppose to have a repair man come work on something that is only 31/2 months old. They wont refund our money on patio chairs so I am looking at filing a lawsuit against them. Please do not buy from this store. You cant even get in touch with a guy name Lane who is vice president of service department Now they sent me an email to email them and we was gonna resolve this issue. No one has responded to the email that I have sent. This is exactly why I will never do business with these people again. They dont want to resolve anything. They got their money and then that's it. They are gonna kill their business in Houma. I have 4 friends who has same problem. It's time just to file the lawsuit. Thanks ashley for treating your customers so well.

Steve helped us and he was great. Seems that with the the size of this retail chain they would help the sales team on the floor with a faster method of estimating the cost and the ability to check out customers. Took way too long to finish the transaction. Product was in stock so that is a plus.

The worst service ever! I suggest that you shop else where. You pay top dollar for your furniture but give you problems giving you what you paid for. My order has been "delayed" four times already. My kids are sleeping and eating on the floor. When you talk to them they give you lies and the run around. The manager of the Houma,LA store hides from me. Then when she did talk me she only told me what I wanted to hear to shut me up. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before purchasing. It seems that this is a common problem for this company.

Only reason I give it a 2 star is the customer service in the store....My boyfriend and I wanted to go up on the size of our bed we went in just to look and ended up finding a bed that we loved and bought it. We were told it would be delivered December 28th at 1:30. We had no call prior or on the day it was supposed to be delivered. When it came closer to the time we called them and they told us that our delivery date was changed to the 31st which is today but gave us no time. Again no call, no notice, my boyfriend called them and now they are saying it is in transit. This ridiculous, don't give a delivery date if you aren't going to deliver it the day of.
Bought a sofa from them worth over $2000 and was told it would be delivered within a week. After a week of waiting they informed us they would deliver it in sections because they did not have all the parts in. After another week of waiting no one informed us on any updates and I had to call them to ask when it would be delivered. After waiting for over a month for the delivery we cancelled our order and bought the same sofa elsewhere and got it delivered the same day.
The manager made me feel uncomfortable and I didn't like that.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Save your money and shop somewhere else!! We bought a sectional a month ago and we understand it takes a few weeks to get from the warehouse WELL they delivered A PIECE of my sectional and the rest is on back order for ANOTHER month. BEST PART no one took the time to call us and let us know not everything will be in at once. Pathetic customer service!
I usually don’t leave reviews lower than 4 star... but. This is the Worst experience I have ever had at any store. I recommend you find you another furniture store. But here’s my story Over all experience in the store was great. Saleswoman was really nice we found everything we wanted in no time. After a $3,000 purchase my new furniture was gonna be a perfect fit to my home. With a baby on the way and out time frame closing in on us. We were promised a delivery date that would be perfect for our busy schedule ahead with a new born. Well today delivery day. I was at work and my wife was home waiting for the Ashley delivery truck. The guys who a river seemed nice. Started setting up our things. With in the first 5 minutes my wife calls me. Se goes on to tell me that a book shelf was already in bad shape right off the truck. No ones fault. So we had to deny that piece. No biggy. 20 mins later another phone call from my wife. She says babe I don’t think they know what they doing. She continues to say they are putting drawers backwards and even upside down. Taking 20 minutes to put together one stool. My wife had to correct them several times. They couldn’t read the English instructions. They even told my wife they don’t install furniture the are just drivers. How do y’all work with these kind of people. Send us someone who knows how to do the job. Now I can’t even begin to understand the next part. They were supposed to include a tv console. I was promised same delivery on all the furniture. Of course it’s not on the truck and they can’t tell me when it will be here. I can go on an on about my experience but it’s more than I can even bring myself to even understand why. DO YOUR JOB!!!! Worst company I have ever bought from.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I bought a new home and decided to furnish it via Ashley Home Store. Kristi the salesperson is great. However, this company clearly needs to be revamped from the inside out. When it came time to deliver my bedroom furniture, the driver informed me that the headboard and footboard were on back order. He wanted to drop of the other pieces, however I don't have room to just have pieces of a bed laying around so I rejected the bed set until they could deliver and assemble the entire bed at one time. The driver was not only rude to me and had an attitude, he was rude to the Kristi who I called to try and get everything situated. They took everything back with the exception of my dresser which I said they could delivery. They rescheduled the delivery for the remainder of my stuff the following week. I've already been sleeping on an air mattress for 2 weeks, what's 1 more? The following delivery day comes and it's a new driver. He informs me that they don't have all the pieces!!!! Apparently the previous driver marked down that they left 2 pieces here when he didn't. Then instead of deliverying my chest of drawers they tried to deliver a 2nd dresser! I told him I wanted to reject the delivery. The driver said he understands rejecting the dresser, but rejecting the bed pieces would cause him trouble because they are big pieces that would make the remainder of his deliveries challenging because they would be in the way. He asked me to accept the pieces and that he would return with the other pieces after his route and get everything set up. I told him if he would in fact return to set everything up I would accept. Well, he only told me what I wanted to hear so that the remainder of his deliveries wouldn't be challenging. Not only did he not show up, he ignored my phone calls when I was trying to get an eta of when he would be here to finish. Because he did not show I have all of these huge bed pieces just laying around my room with no room to set back up my air mattress and sleep. So for two nights I have been sleeping on my wood floors!!!! I got in contact with Mu saleswoman Kristi and asked that some one high up call me first thing in the morning so that I could vent my frustrations and come to a resolution. I told her that if this could not be done I would like to arrange for everything to be returned and issued a full refund so that I may take my business else where. Well I waited all day for a phone call and nothing!!!! I understand that it's Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, but I would think it's a little more important to take care of a current dissatisfied customer who could potential bring more future business rather than trying to lure new customer to later dissatisfy. I can't believe how horrific and appalling this whole experience has been. This company needs to get it together or just be put out of business. I'm going to give them the opportunity to rectify this whole situation, and depending what they do for me I may do future business with them, but at this point I would recommend staying away from their business and take your furnishing needs to a more functional company that has all their ducks in a row.

Sorry it's long, will try to make as short as possible. Horrible experience, will not spend my money there again! Went in to look for living room furniture. The sales person was showing us around and within minutes there was another sales person pitching and trying to sell us a bed for $12,000 (for about 10 minutes). I literally had to say, "We need to concentrate on living room furniture, that's what we came in for" to make her stop and leave us alone. However, pushy sales is the least of the issue. We finally did agree on buying a sectional. We discussed the layout needed to fit in our living room, asked several questions to make sure what we needed was correctly understood, and paid for it outright. Then were told it would take a month to come in! A few days before delivery date we got an email to confirm the 3 hour window that delivery would happen in. Looked at order again to begin planning, realized sectional was ordered backwards and would not fit. Call customer service to get ahead of it before delivery from warehouse. They said a supervisor would call us within 10 minutes. No one called. We go to the store, explain, and are told in order to correct we would need to wait another 30 days. NO WAY that was happening. We are encouraged to accept the delivery, and given the option to decline what doesn't fit, so we can at least have some furniture! Then they would reorder the other pieces and we would get that 30 days later. So on delivery day, we are told to take out all of our old furniture and prepare for the delivery between 11am -2pm. You can track your order. We were customer #11. Around 2pm the truck was on #2. We did not get our delivery until after 7pm! They were over 5 hours late!!! We told the delivery people (or tried to) about the possibility of it not fitting and that it was ordered wrong. We were immediately cut off, with attitude! The guy was extremely unprofessional, rude, and impatient! (Would NEVER allow them to deliver anything to my home again) They were just trying to hurry and leave. They didn't hook up everything, left trash on the road, almost forgot to leave my table. (I had to ask where it was) Well.... the measurements of their furniture or so OFF, the furniture actually fit, even though it was a backwards configuration of what we ordered and should not have fit, we just kept it and dealt with the change. Long story short, they lost a valuable customer because I actually had plans to purchase a bed (not a $12,000 one mind you, lol) next and will soon be furnishing several other rooms.... P.S. We have not had anyone reach out, even though they knew it was a terrible experience! A simple call to say how sorry they were that we had that experience would have won me back as a customer. I will now be spending my money elsewhere.

I went into Ashley furniture looking at living room furniture not knowing what color or style I even wanted but as soon as I seen my set and sat in it I just knew that was the one. When ordering they said it would take about 2-3 weeks to come in but surprisingly I received it in less than a week. I was very excited to get my furniture that quick. My salesperson was very polite and we loved working with her. I would definitely recommend Ashley furniture for any furniture you are looking for. The prices were very reasonable.

I came to this location from harahan to pick up a mattress. When we arrived, their employees uncovered several problems as a result of the harahan location. Myra, Vickie, and Doug went above and beyond to make sure that our issues were resolved and that we were taken care of. In a time where good customer service is severely lacking in society, they showed that there are still some honest people out there doing business. We will gladly make the drive down to Houma from now on instead of visiting the much closer location in harahan.

They were quick to sell me furniture but refuse to made good on the damaged pieces that were delivered to my house. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!!!!!! If I could give them 0 starts for service after the sale I would.
