Extremely Disappointed with Ashley Store Lafayette I spent two full days at this location making a large purchase and made it very clear to the salesperson that I wanted delivery and full setup of my furniture. Either the salesperson lied to me or made a serious mistake, because they only booked delivery only—no setup. When my items arrived and I called (and even went in person) to have the issue fixed, I waited over an hour only to be told the only thing they could do was refund the delivery fee. Cost was never the issue—I wanted what I was promised. This is false advertising and shows a complete lack of accountability. Ashley clearly does not value their customers’ time and will not stand behind their employees’ mistakes. Now I’m left with a huge bed to assemble myself, and if anything goes wrong, I’m sure they’ll try to blame me. Be very cautious with this store. Double-check everything in writing before you pay, because they will not “make it right” if their staff misleads you.

We were looking for a recliner for our son with autism. There were very specific features and our salesman, Luke McCann was very polite and tolerant. We left to explore other options and came back to Ashley to buy from Luke. Very professional and tolerant.

The table and chairs looks nice. But everything about this process has been a disaster and I'm still trying to get someone to come out and fix the large gap where the table seams join. At first 2 legs were crooked and someone supposedly fixed that but the legs became loose again and now 1 leg is crooked. Other than that: 1) the first delivery was cancelled and no one informed us 2) when the delivery came (only after me calling to get it scheduled) no chairs came with the table - no one informed us the chairs were on back order. We were told they'd arrive in a few days...nothing happened so I had to call again and they had no idea we were supposed to get the 5 remaining chairs. We then has to prompt another delivery because nothing was set in the system. 3) the delivery guy complained about kids not being outside and didn't notice that 2 legs were crooked and not touching the ground. Also 2 bolts underneath were so loose they were practically falling out. 4) Chairs were finally delivered and only 1 out of 6 chairs came. Supposedly a glitch in the system caused a "return" of 5 chairs which we had to reverse and prompt another new delivery. 5) the guy who fixed the crooked table legs didn't even know he was supposed to fix the seam gap, even though it was in the ticket order. So he supposedly had "end caps" ordered and they still haven't come after 4 weeks. I called to ask where they were and they have no record of the end caps being ordered. This was after I had called the week before and they said end caps were arriving soon. 6) I had to call repeatedly to get my $150 partial refund for the botched delivery. 7) I had to call repeatedly to move the whole delivery fulfillment and repair of the crooked legs and gap...and I'm still waiting on the gap to be addressed. It is ridiculously large. All in all I've spent hours trying to get the deliveries done and table repaired - repeatedly calling and texting pictures again and so forth to try and get this ridiculousness resolved. Still waiting...

The salesperson, Joe, was fantastic representative for Ashley! He answered all my questions, showed me around and then let me explore their store. When he came back, I had a few concerns which we talked through and he helped me make the best choice for my needs. Thank you Joe and Carlos.
