From The time I called to when I arrived at the store on Sunday March 2 2025(which was almost closing time) the two gentlemen working the showroom floors was more than helpful. So professional when answering the phone to greeting us as soon as we entered the store. Please DO NOT purchase anything from Ashley’s Furniture. I purchased the premium warranty for my sofa, love seat, and chair. The sofa started ripping at the seams and they are refusing to cover it. I contacted Ashley and they still will not cover my sofa that I have had for less than 2 years. They are over priced for cheaply made products.

Horrible product, recliner is broken 2 months after purchase. Warranty dept. says we have 1 year manufacturer warranty but store says it was bought as is. Have been going back and forth with this company for a month now. Had no idea we were getting the floor model, thought this was brand new. Never shopping here or for this brand again. Buyer beware! Bull crap, you leave this 800 number trying to make the public think that they can get further assistance, absolutely no help at all, why bother responding to a review if you don’t actually help the customer!!! I’ve called several furniture repair shops and they all stated that this is what Ashley furniture does, they get calls all the time about their recliners needing repair!!

We absolutely love our new Charterton dining table set!!! Beautiful, rich dark brown chairs & table legs. Table top is a perfect, lighter match. It took 2 of us only 2 1/2 hours to build (with power drill). All pieces are very sturdy & chairs are comfortable. Leveling screws on chair legs are an added plus. Everything was packaged well & no damage to pieces - we picked it up at a local distribution center. Definitely recommend this product.

Bought a bedroom set for my daughter. Was talked into the white glove premium delivery. Two guys showed up that didn’t speak English. They scratched the bed but we didn’t notice to we put the mattress on it after they left. Also didn’t install the mirror on the dresser. Was told by someone they called to translate that they forgot the brackets and would be back later in week to install. Never showed or called to come. Now I am dealing with their customer service team who is trying to offer my a $9 credit for my problems. This is just crazy.

Never again!!! I paid for premium delivery, but got back door delivery with the box open and product damaged! The driver was smart enough to take a picture from the other side, knowing it was already damaged. I called him to come back to set up because I paid extra for that! He told me he was already in the town. I have all the documentation to prove it. Don’t buy from Ashley HomeStore. They are overpriced. And if you read their reviews, the delivery service sucks! 7/16/2024 I have reach out to Ashley over a week now. They have still not made it right. You can not get anyone to call you back. I was added to the VIP line, then transfer to another department. And still not response. Don't let the sale person tell you about how easy the delivery process is becasue as soon as the product is dropped off, they dont care. On top of all this, the product has been sitting in the rain for days now.
Hunter was amazing! I hate sales people who follow you around like a puppy. He came and greeted us, asked if he could point us in the right direction, and said to let him know if we had any questions. He did come and check in with us, answered all the questions we had. We weren't planning on buying until we picked out our flooring. He didn't try and encourage us to buy that day like most sales people do. He gave us his card and told us whenever we were ready to come back and see him. We went and purchased the items the next week. When we are ready to do our other room we will for sure be looking for him!

While the guys that helped me purchase my furniture were very kind and helpful, unfortunately their quality of service is irrelevant because of the Ashley experience and final product I received. The sofa I ordered came delivered with stains, rips, and broken frame. The men delivering it appeared to not speak fluent English, and appeared to not understand what I was pointing out. Because of this, Ashley refuses to replace this used damage couch and will only offer to clean it. They’ve canceled service twice now without even informing me. Current status is that they are waiting on parts with no ETA. I paid $3,000 for a used and useless couch and apparently I have no options. I went back to the kind and helpful guys at this store and while they are still kind, said there wasn’t anything they could do about it.

Went in looking for a mattress in a certain price point. Carlos went over the different types, not only help find the one that fitted what I was looking for, he also made it easy with no pressure. Took it home the same evening. Great deal on top of that. Everyone was top notch
The mattress we selected is available in Covington. Delivery is a week away but I will be out of town. Home Furniture delivers next day. Not sure why it takes Ashley so long.

Terrible experience. I agreed to pick up the furniture, with the expectation that there would be someone available to get the furniture from inside the front of the store to the back of the store and into my trailer (or someone able to help at least). I had to load everything up myself. If you don’t have the furniture delivered, they don’t have people to load the furniture up for you and they don’t put any protective covering on the furniture for transporting. They don’t even have any protective covering to give you to put it on yourself. Good thing we were capable of getting the furniture from a six foot high ledge down onto our trailer. I don’t know what we would’ve done if I wasn’t capable of the heavy lifting. I felt like they weren’t concerned about our shopping experience or the items getting damaged at all, they just wanted to sell.

I recently had a truly frustrating experience with Ashley Home Furniture and their poor choice of a 3rd party delivery company. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this whole ordeal was (and still is). Firstly, I go to an upscale furniture store and pay full retail prices only to be met with issue after issue. When the delivery was scheduled, Saw Enterprises showed up in a Penske rental truck at the wrong address and seemed utterly bewildered by a basic address. It was a mess right from the start. But what made it even more infuriating was the fact that the delivery personnel did not speak any English. I had to drive throughout my neighborhood looking for a random truck that might be delivering furniture (being a random Penske truck made it harder to identify). After convincing the delivery guys to follow me only using basic hand gestures. Side note, clear communication should be a basic expectation, especially when dealing with a delivery service. The real nightmare began when they entered my home to deliver the furniture. Not only did they fail to handle the products with care, but they also caused substantial damage to my property. My front door, two pillars inside my home, and a wall leading to my bathroom were all victims of their recklessness. The damage to the wall is by far the worst, and it will be an expensive and time-consuming process to repair. This is not a simple coat of paint type of damage, the corner guard on the inside of the wall is completely crushed in and has folded the corners of the sheetrock about 9 inches in total. After this happened I immediately stopped them to prevent any further damage. After much frustration and using google translator I was able to communicate to them to call their "boss" Richard. Richard first tried to start the (I got a friend that can fix that) approach, I told him I don't think this is proper corporate protocol and that I would like a case number from Ashley furniture for the damages before we proceeded with any repairs. After taking a whopping hour and 7 min to make the claim with Ashley furniture not including hold time the claim was finally made. I also found out in the process that these guys should have NOT even entered my home at all. Waiting 5 days I got a call back from Ashley explaining to me that because it was a 3rd party contractor that made the delivery that they have to give them 30 full days to make it right before they can step in so "good luck". Richard then gets back in contact with me to schedule the repair company, I emphasized that it needed to be a company that was properly insured and one that would not have any basic communication issues. This company (RG Construction) was scheduled to be at my home Monday 10/2/23 between 9-10 AM. I take off of work and patiently wait at my home for their arrival. Big shock no one has showed up. I have called RG Construction and they confirmed they had nothing on the books for my address today or ever. It is now 12 and I have texted and called Richard with no response. I have called the Ashley corp claim number and the Ashley box store, they did give me Saw enterprise number, I have been on hold for a customer rep for 45 min with no answer. This whole experience has been nothing short of a disaster, and I hold both Ashley Home Furniture and the 3rd party delivery company responsible for it. They have wasted both my time and money. Their incompetence, poor communication, and utter disregard for my property have left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I would strongly advise anyone considering Ashley Home Furniture to think twice, as their poor choice of delivery service has tarnished their reputation in my eyes. Date of incident 9/16/23 claim number 881333. *** Update 10/20/2023 there has been no resolution to my problem and no one has fixed the damages.***
Bought new bedroom set. There was an error on salesman's part with order. Accidents happen, we're human. Corporate never tried to fix the problem and left the store to figure it out. Took 2 and a half months for a resolution. Safe to say that sadly we won't be purchasing here again.
If I could give Ashley zero stars, I would. They upsell close to a 1300 warranty on a $1200 couch and you are told that if it can't be cleaned, they will issue you another couch. Well, they lied!! Plain and simple. We called out for stains to be removed and it couldn't so they claimed the warranty doesn't cover it. I'm not only placing Ashley Furniture on my website( that receives 5000 hits a day) but also filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

DO NOT BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY OFFERED BY GBS PROTECTALL!!!!!! My wife and I purchased a sofa and love seat from Ashley in Lafayette in February and opted to pay for the extended warranty due to the furniture having 2 electric motors each and a toddler. The warranty was sold to us as covering everything and there were no exceptions. The brochure that was given to us at the time of sale did not have any exceptions listed either. Around the 3 month mark of owning the furniture a part of the mechanism that raises and lowers the footrest on the sofa snapped in half. Additionally the usb charging port on one side of the sofa stopped working. I called GBS Protectall to file a claim and was informed by them that the mechanism that raises and lowers the footrest was not considered a mechanism by them and was not covered. I was texted a document that listed out all of the excluded components, keep in mind that this document is not on their website, not referenced in the brochure, etc. They did put in the claim for the usb port and said a tech would be reaching out to fix it. I called the store regarding the non-covered component and was referred to Ashley corporate because the store is a franchise. Thankfully Ashley themselves agreed to cover the mechanism and shipped us a whole new base for that side of the sofa and a technician was sent out to make the repairs. The technician for the usb went out to our house and proceeded to tell us that he didn't have the part and asked if we did, which we did not. So our usb port is still not fixed to this date. I called GBS Protectall today (8/17) to check on the claim and was informed that it was not their responsibility because it was a manufacturers defect and anything that breaks like that within the first year is the manufacturers responsibility. Again, this was not told to us when we called to make the claim nor is it written on any of the documents we've received. So we've paid for a 5 year warranty when in fact GBS Protectall only covers it for 4 years after the manufacturers warranty is up. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THE EXTENDED WARRANTY AS IT'S BEEN A HUGE HEADACHE TO DEAL WITH.

What a wonderful experience. With the loss of my husband's mother, came the cleansing of the home... we donated almost every piece of future about 6 months ago. Knowing we were coming in from Ga for a wedding we realized we had nothing to sit on, literally. I called the store and Joseph answered. I can't stress to you enough how accommodating this gentleman was. He knew my urgency for getting something "in" the store so that I didn't have to wait on delivery..since we would be there in 4 days. He took pictures, FaceTimed me, and worked out a deal on a floor model so I would be satisfied. I picked it up on Sunday and am sitting on as I leave this review. Please shop Ashley and ask for Joseph, you can't go wrong! Job well done!

I purchased my loveseat and sofa from Ashley Furniture in Lafayette, back in 2021, I wanted to wait a while to give my honest review before posting. If you are looking for a business that is willing to call you non stop once you run financing and they see you have good credit to purchase and you have told them before you are still looking, but they want you through their doors ASAP, no matter if you still haven't decided and you want no communication regarding your furniture even if you still haven't received it and its pass the delivery date than this store is for you. But if you are looking for a furniture store that cares about your purchase during and after your furniture has been delivered, I suggest you don't even think about purchasing from here. I understand the method of purchasing furniture, and how long and hard it can be at times as sometimes manufactures move back dates, or trucks can be delayed, or maybe sales associates can have many customers to take care of, but no one should have to call multiple times for constant updates on their furniture when they have been told several times a manager or their sales person would contact them. I highly don't suggest this business and please save your time and shop some where different. They also never answer their phone, you have to physically show up if you would like any questions answered.

This store does not back any furniture they sell once it is sold. They will not return your money or even Take back within 30 days of the sell.This bed was built in Vietnam and looks as if a kid built it. By looking at this bed made up you do not notice most of the material is partical board valued at$849.99 without matress. Chairs have splinters on seats , There is only feet on the front legs not the rear so the paint from the chairs is all over the wooden floor. The table top is rough with again splinters not smooth like the table that was looked at in showroom . Lacker was dripped on table top at manufacturer ,and the antique white has some type of brown stains that are not part of the piece.White glove service was paid for to deliver. Staples were left under table top to where someone could cut themselves bad. The legs for the table base were not even tightened.They have basically taken advantage of an elderly widowed lady and will not make anything right within the 30 day period pushing it onto the manufacturer warranty you pay for not to mention she still does not have all her furniture ordered May 17th .She just started getting pieces June 2, and 14 . They keep pushing times back blaming system failures but they can use computers to take your order, take your money and will not answer the phone at store or 1800 number. You go to store in person they basically will not help you other than give you a warranty paper tell you they are not responsible after sale of purchase and walk away. This is basically an overpriced money scam. Also check out the web for the complaint and Lawsuits against Ashley Furniture before you decide to buy furniture here!

(December 27, 2022) I was shopping for a new Bedset and Mattress in Lafayette LA, I went to a few furniture stores who had some decent sales and choices however for the price, nothing I saw was spectacular. That is until I went to Ashley Home Furniture right off of Ambassador (sounds like a commercial right?) The thing that made the experience different this time around was the people, starting off with the General Manager Mr. Aaron Arceneaux, Sales Professional Mr. Carlos and Operations Specialist Mrs. Jerleesa. They all truly made me feel like I was amongst family and friends when shopping. Not only that, Mr. Aaron threw in his managers discount and waived my down payment! Now, I did ask if there was a New Years sale going on and he definitely applied it! I saved so much money off of my total furniture purpose! Who can say you go into a furniture store, pay nothing at all, and walk out with a complete new bedroom set, I can for sure! Thanks to the people at Ashley Home Furniture Store! This was definitely a 5 star experience and a 5 star Quality purchase. If you go to the store, please asks for any of these individuals to assist you!

Only ask for Aaron Arceneaux! He has a great eye and knows his furniture well. We had a slight delivery issue with a couch and he not only helped us out but he took all of the stress out of it. He followed up with us each step of the way and made sure we absolutely loved our purchase. We will be back!

🚨🚨DO NOT USE ASHLEY HOME STORE IN LAFAYETTE LA🚨🚨. Share share share!!! My parents ordered couches from them on 8/20/22 via check. Fast forward to TODAY when I’ve already driven from BR to Lafayette to help them get situated with my dads health issues, the store calls and says “oops we don’t have your furniture ready, and you’re not on the schedule because someone on our end didn’t put your phone number in correctly…” that distinctly sounds like a personnel issue, however that’s neither here nor there. Well, I call the store today and ask for the operations manager, Kendrick, (who was supposed to call my mother back and DID NOT, definitely horrific business practice to not only not call some one back but to get on the phone with said customer with an attitude problem from jump) and all he could do was give rebuttal that he’s done all he can and it’s gonna take up to 48 hours for a response. That certainly is useless being the check cleared many moons ago and now the furniture is not supposed to be delivered until AFTER THANKSGIVING. This company needs to VASTLY widen their dexterity when it comes to handling customer service issues because Kendrick did absolutely NOTHING. I wouldn’t give this company a DIME of my money if it was the last thing I’d ever do, and you shouldn’t either. 🙄

I ordered my dining set during thanksgiving week 2021. We were told that the wait time for the table is 3 months. We were alright with that. Fast forward it’s the end of February and we haven’t heard anything, so I call and we are told the wait is another 4-6 weeks. Then it was another 4-6 weeks, and another, and another. And every time we had to call to find out what’s going on. Never was there a call from the store or customer service that it will take longer. No apology, no rebate, no trying to smooth things over, nothing. Only another 2-3 or 4-6 week wait! Finally we received our table and chairs October 12th, 2022! Not going to Ashley’s ever again.
Horrible service. Only half of order received, part of which was broken. Now trying to get that replaced and they are giving us a difficult time even though they broke it.
Run don’t walk, in terms of ordering furniture from Ashley these days. We placed our order in June, told our delivery would likely be around the 30 day mark. It was not, our items were not delivered till late August. They showed up without the hardware and we’re unable to put the bed together. I was told someone would contact me the next day but they did not. I ended up calling a few days later. They shipped hardware to my house about a week later. Next time a technician could come out wasn’t until Oct. they showed up today, apparently not enough hardware was sent. On top of that the tech went to move the dresser and our floors were scratched from this due to a staple being left in underneath frame. Now we have to wait again for more parts. This is ridiculous for a product paid for in full.

Placed an order for a desk and dresser back in November. We finally received the dresser in March. At the beginning of July, after realizing we still never heard anything about receiving the desk, I went to Ashley’s to have the order cancelled. The person I sat with looked in to it and said we were estimated to get the desk on or around July 20th. So I agreed to wait until then and if I had not heard anything, then I’d come back to cancel the order. On July 22nd, we still had not received any calls to schedule anything and the new estimated delivery was still weeks out. So we went back to Ashley’s to cancel. I was told it could be over a week before I see my account refunded. No big deal. Then yesterday Sept. 8th, I received a phone call from Ashley’s to schedule a delivery. Odd. So I go back through my bank account and notice I never got my refund. I called the number back— of course, you have to go through all the automated responses. Needless to say, the automated voice told me my order would still be another estimated 2 weeks. So I’m not sure why I received a call in the first place.. especially when I already cancelled this order. So here we are wayy too many months later. I spoke with a real person after & hopefully my order is actually cancelled this time because I do not want to deal with Ashley’s ever again. My living room & bedroom set come from them & I really like their furniture. But stop selling things to people if you don’t actually have the supply to keep up with the demand.
These people are crooks. I ordered a desk and chest of drawers in November 2021 they told me 5 weeks for delivery. Eight months later I never received my order and there is no way to get in contact with the store unless you go in person. On 7/22/22 I went to the store and asked for a refund and to cancel my order. Today is 9/9/22 and I still don't have my my money or my furniture. I just got off the phone customer service and canceled my order again.
It took way to long for my stuff to even come in. I was suppose to have it by July it is now September that it is just getting built. Every time the movers came they were different people and each one of them didn’t know what to do with my bed saying something different which pushed my time even more. The only reason they have 2 stars is because another set of movers built my stuff pretty fast and i appreciated it.
We came in looking for a bed not really looking to purchase but Chris helped us determine exactly what we wanted helped us within our budget and just made it overall a great deal. 10/10 recommend!

Worst shopping experience ever for both me & my wife. The salesman "self proclaimed manager" was not only pushy & relentless but he was also extremely rude & arrogant.
The guys who were delivering the bed were great. But 2 pieces of the bed were wrong so they were not able to put the bed together. Was not their fault. Now have to wait another few weeks probably before they get the pieces in. Purchased a bed over a year ago and customer service has been horrible to deal with. No one should have to hunt down or stay on top of something they purchased from a year ago and still have not received in yet. Kept giving my wife and I the run around for months. Told us they could hold our bed in the warehouse for as long as we needed to but ended up not being true and selling it to someone else without notifying us. Never dealt with such horrible service. Will not be purchasing from Ashley Furniture again. I guarantee that
On October 6, 2021, my husband and I had the great misfortune of visiting the Ashley Homestore located at 200 Westmark Blvd in Lafayette, Louisiana. During this visit we purchased various pieces of furniture accompanied by a GBS 5-Year protection plan totaling nearly $6,000.00 which was paid in full at the time of signing the sales order. We were initially told that our order would be delivered between 12 to 18 weeks of the order date. This was simply the first of their continuous lies and deceptive tactics and antics. From being completely deceived about the GBS 5-year protection plan to waiting, as of today, an excess of 39 weeks (nearly 22 weeks past the promised delivery date) to receive all pieces of the ordered furniture, I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. From store managers who “know nothing about shipping procedures” and advise customers to “just hope for the best” in regards to receiving their furniture to the unresponsive escalation and customer care team, this company’s customer satisfaction guarantee is non-existent along with their business and ethical values. I have tried every remedy and form of redress made available to me and even made up some tactics myself. Unfortunately, as of today, Ashley Homestore, which operates in a fashion that is typical of an organized theft ring, has yet to be responsive to my pleas for what is rightfully mine and owed to me. This has truly been the absolute worst experience I have been through and I often question how this company is allowed to operate a fashion that is only best described as unprofessional, unfair, deceptive, fraudulent and borders a line of consumer law violations.

Initially I had a great experience in store in April. Once we left, it ALL went downhill. We got our delivery and the wrong bed was delivered. Ok cool. We called and went in store. After the run around we finally had an exchange put in. We kept getting multiple delivery dates and no bed. We are now in September and we STILL do not have our bed. That makes 5 MONTHS of not getting the product that we ordered AND paid for. So Ashley has our money and doesn't care to see that we receive our product. Tried to call about getting a refund for everything and am being told NO!!!!!
Reached out MANY times for repair on furniture i bought warranty on & was on many occasions met with SILENCE, I would've saved my money had i known that it would be this hard to get repairs

The store was great and the guy who helped me was awesome. But I warn you all to not purchase from this company. I have had so many problems with the DELIVERY! Bad communication, I have had 4 deliveries canceled or messed up. I cannot understand how this can be so messed up. NO ONE seems to even know why my delivery didn't get on the truck today for it's scheduled arrival. I get a text it is on it's way then I call to check up on the time of arrival and I'm told it was cancelled? WTH? And why do I not get any phone call? And I get so many mixed messages I really do not know who is in charge, nor do I think they know! The DELIVERY has been a NIGHTMARE and I am in tears.
Terrible customer service! Paid cash in full for my kitchen table with barstools that match my island in January. Delivery date was for April. April turned to May, May turned to June, now June has turned to July.... so I want a refund and now I have to wait 20 days to get my cash back! Absolutely ridiculous!!! Do NOT buy from this company. They are basically a scam!
The staff was absolutely phenomenal! Extremely friendly, informative, and fun. Devon and Carlos assisted myself and fiancé specifically. Besides their winning personalities they were super knowledgeable about the furniture along with providing beneficial health facts certain pieces of furniture can bring. They exceeded customer service expectations treating us as if we were long time friends! We left feeling extremely confident in our new purchase and will definitely be going back! 10/10 recommend! My purchase experience was great, got my chair in a week. After I received the chair, I realized I didn't want the chair and called the store and said no problem come back and we will exchange it for another chair and they would pick up the 1st chair and bring me the other chair. This is where it all goes bad, I think I'm on the 4th delivery date and still don't really know when it will be delivered. I really don't think they know what's going on either with the chair delivery either. I see other reviews with people having trouble with getting their furniture. I think if Ashley was just honest up front and told their customers we can order your furniture but you will have to be patient with delivery because we just don't know when you will receive your furniture. I think people wouldn't get so mad if they were warned up front about delivery dates issues.
Simply one word to describe this place - PHENOMENAL! From the staff to the products to the buying process. All the staff are so friendly and caring and in no way pushy as many people in sales can be. The whole process was smooth and stress free. Everyone is great but most importantly a HUGE thank you to Mr. Carlos and Mr. Aaron for making such a big purchase for us, so easy and effortless. We are IN LOVE with our new bed frame and mattress and will definitely choose this place and location when purchasing other home furniture in the future. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Ashley home furniture online is the worst I order a twin panel bed & dresser since 2/17/22 I received half of my order 4/12/22 now I have to wait until 5/10/22 for I was text / told that I would receive both items on 4/12 . poor and I mean very poor customer service every person you talk to seems like they don’t have a care in the world and I’ve been asking for someone hire up and still haven’t received a call . Devon is so patient and made buying essy for someone who is indecisive! Great sales team. But the actual communication between the sales team, delivery guys and Customer Service is so frustratingly not functional. Took 4 months to resolve my item getting delivered to the wrong house 2 times and the wrong item 3 times! I called CS 4x total and nothing was resolved until I physically went back to the store to speak with a manager who did fix it.

I bought furniture in July of 2021. I did not get all of the pieces until February of 2022. I set up delivery for March of 2022. On the day of delivery, I was missing several furniture pieces. After speaking with several customer service associates and an in store representative at the Ashley store in Opelousas, Louisiana, I was told that furniture is given out on a first come, first serve basis and I will have to wait until June of 2022 to get the rest of my furniture.What type of business practice is this?!!!!

Furniture is beautiful and salesman and manager were amazing. However, it has taken over 7 months for our items to come in. It was finally delivered, and the nightstand was left off. So they will have to make a second trip next week.

Very poor communication throughout the entire process. I completely understand the delayed shipping times and had no issue with that part of my experience. But each time I received a call from an Ashley representative I was provided different information. The last delivery I received was marked as fulfilled 100% when there were actually 3 items missing. We are now 4 months out from my last delivery and I have still not received the final 3 items. They aren’t even in process despite my contacts to the Ashely customer service line multiple times. I visited the store today and I am hopeful to eventually receive my final items.

Great delivery drivers, swell guys. Very helpful. The reason this is a 1 star review is because I ordered a couch in March and received it in July... messed up. Gave me two right arms. I asked for them to fix it and they keep returning with more right arms, why is this so hard for them? The delievery drivers even knew it was wrong but someone in management doesn't know their lefts from rights I guess

We relocated to Lafayette after losing almost everything in Hurricane Ida. Being well aware of the possible shipping problems due to Covid, we were not looking forward to having to purchase a house full of furniture right now. We knew it had to be done though. So, one night we came in looking to start off our quest with the purchase of a new bed. Chris, our sales associate was very helpful and informative. Where this particular store really shines & I do mean shines, is behind the front desk. Michael "Mikey" is truly an asset to this company. He stayed after closing to make sure everything was ordered and correct. A few days later, we recieved a call from the delivery department. There was an issue, our mattress would be ready for delivery in just a few days. However, our box springs wouldn't be available until after Jan. 1st. Not wanting to put a nearly $2,000 mattress on the floor until the box springs could be delivered. So back to the store we went to talk to the one man who made me feel like a friend and not just a commission. Michael was so polite, kind and helpful. After everything we have gone through in the last few months, he really made me feel like not only was I an actual human being. He spent quite a long time trying to find a solution for us, that WE wanted and not just a "here's your only option" kind of attitude. He talked with us and not just TO us. This young man really went above and beyond. He is still working on making sure we have a complete bed for our first night, in our new place. I have the utmost confidence that he will get things resolved, because that was his promise to us. "To do everything he could possibly do." (There are a lot of warehouses to search.) Yes, it was his job, but he could have simply told us there was nothing he could due (and blame it on the shipping issues going on right now with limited manufacturers stock). Not for a minute did he make us feel like we were a bother, inconvenience or that our feelings didn't matter. We told him how wonderful he is but, we also wanted the rest of the world to know as well. So Ashley Homestores if you are reading this: Michael in your Lafayette store deserves a raise, promotion and hopefully some praise for giving your company a heart, in a time when that seems to be missing in this world.
I will definitely visit this place again !!!! The atmosphere was great and very entergetic.Mrs.Gwen was great ,friendly and lovely to have as my sales person . We told her what we wanted and she didn’t disappoint Thanks definitely will be returning Lynette and Deondrick
This store and the people who work there are the reason that I am a returning satisfied customer. They are friendly, patient & efficient. They actually make shopping a fun experience as it should be!!♥️ I can’t express how great a team they are. They take care of every important and minor details. I won’t be going any where else

OK, this is an update to my one star review in early October. If I could give them a minus 5 star review I would. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY, they are deceitful and once you pay them it takes months for delivery. I canceled an order and was told it takes 15 days to receive a credit, checked with customer service today (15 days) and said he would contact refund department for a refund ASAP, then I asked how long, his answer: ANOTHER 15 DAYS. If you want furniture hassle free with no anxiety ,do business elsewhere, Lafayette has some really good stores that are not a huge chain, Ashley is NOT one of those stores. I filed a BBB complaint and if that doesn't work then an attorney may speed this up. Again, this is a MINUS 5 star company. Do your business somewhere else. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IF YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY.
Overpriced furniture that takes half a year to get to your house. Calling in to ask when my furniture will come? And they tell you 2 more weeks. 2 weeks pass, call again, now it will be 3 months. I regret purchasing any furniture from the place and will not repeat my mistake in the future. Edit: I bought my furniture in July, its now October and now it is supposed to get here in January.
Needed a tall dresser but had issues with ordering it on line. I went into local Ashley store to get assistance. Joe was very helpful and knowledgeable. New dresser will be here next week.

Order a bed frame in July and the told me it would be available in September. It is now the middle of October and they say it wont be available until January. If you actually want your product go somewhere else.
I have had a bad experience with this store. I was told that my full sectional will be here within 4-16 weeks. My time and delivery was scheduled a week in advance. The day that I received my couch, they were early, didn’t call and only two pieces were delivered, and they were left on my front porch, and they had MY contractor sign for it! I called to speak to a manager, Isabelle was the manager I spoke to. She was so rude, unhelpful and completely cut me off on multiple occasions. After she was “done” speaking to me, she just passed the phone to my sales rep., Courtney Campbell is her name. She has been extremely helpful and more professional than Isabelle, the manager. Her attitude was basically “We have your money now, you can’t do anything about it so deal with it.” I do NOT suggest buying from here. Courtney is the only asset they have right now.
Ms. Gwen was the best. She truly loves what she does and she went above and beyond to assure I got what I desired!
After waiting 2 months for my order, we decided to cancel our sectional.. another two months go by and still no credit on my card. Just wasted another 33 minutes of my time to cancel my order again. Selling items not available is bad business having to wait on the phone 33 minutes to cancel the order a second time is incompetence.
Devon did an amazing job helping my husband and I select the perfect furniture for our living room. He was very friendly, prompt, and helpful towards our needs and expectations. He made the all around experience very pleasant. He definitely listened to exactly what we wanted, along with our concerns which I definitely appreciate. The all around shopping experience was very professional, the store had seriously everything you can look or ask for in a furniture store.

First off I’d like to express what a wonderful selection of home furnishings you all have to off your customers. When I first walked in I almost walked out.. 2 of your staff members looked me and never offered any help whatsoever.. Then a employee whom introduced herself and offered to help🙌🏽 Which I’m glad she did 🙏🏽 Very nice and welcoming and the fact that she was in training didn’t interfere with me getting what I went there for… she got someone that helped her through the process I can’t remember the young ladies name but I do remember Ms Gwen Simon!! Heaven sent…. She went above and beyond to help me get the sofa for my new home.. and gave me a experience I’ve never had in any other furniture store ever.,,, I will be back to shop hopefully I can have that same young lady and ms Gwen to help mw with my purchase….Thank you !
I would give this store a zero rating if I could. My son and daughter in law spent quite a bit of money buying furniture for their new home during the Memorial day sale. After being given several different delivery dates, they were told their furniture would be delivered September 14th. After calling today to verify, there is no delivery or date of delivery in the near future. Buyers beware!

I'm really pleased with my visit today. They answered all my questions and genuinely cared. I encountered a minor issue and the manager Aaron rectified it immediately. He went OVER and beyond. I will not be purchasing anything else from this store and nor will I be suggesting this place to anyone. I saw a mattress that was 11-15$ a month if you financed so I decided to check it out and I really liked it and I got approve. When everything was said and done my monthly total was 120$ a month and even after asking where at he extra cost comes from I was just talked in circles. Not even my paper work can tell me why it’s so expensive. My bed is already bowing in the middle and I’ve slept on it for a total of a month, month and a half. I have also had nothing but trouble with the finance department trying to get my date change, they even charge me a 20$ late fee for there mess up. I definitely don’t recommend them at all. Go to wcc and save your money.

Salesperson (Neil) was awesome, made us feel comfortable and confident. The store had a huge selection, we shopped, we bought. We found the selection of products all seemed well built and sturdy. Would definitely shop and buy again. Prices were reasonable for good products. Ok so here is my update: 1- checked with order status dept and delivery not for 13-15 weeks 2- company took my whole payment, not a 10% deposit but the whole sum of money, who does that? 3- called store for a cancellation , was told can’t cancel until 30 days are up from day of order. 4-getting suspicious about this companies method of operation, even Amazon won’t charge you until the order is ready to ship. As of now, today 9-27-21 I could only give 1 star rating. Not giving up but unless something good happens after October 2nd I would advise you to shop somewhere else.

The customer service is horrible. They have no idea what they are doing. The delivery dates they send and confirm will be changed without the customer having knowledge of. When you try to get customer service or someone to explain the discrepancies they will just tell you sorry and they have no idea why they have made multiple mistakes. If you call corporate they will hang up on you after they tell you they don’t have access to look at your account.
Horrible experience I have been waiting over a month for my mattress.They delivered 2 pillows and the base and keep pushing date back for mattress.I will never ever purchase anything from here again.

I would recommend anyone and everyone to Ashley Home Store of Lafayette, Louisiana Westmark Blvd. location for a number of reasons. The main reason being first class customer service. We didn’t leave the store with questions, we left with excitement. My fiancé and I entered the store looking for a king sized mattress for when we get a house together after we get married. Devon Faul was eager to help and that he did. This is where i would strongly recommend people to this particular store. Devon took his time to show us and explain to us about all of the different mattresses and the benefits of each. After listening to the problems we have when sleeping and when getting out of bed in the morning, he guided us the mattress that will be perfect for us. He made the entire experience as easy as it could get from start to finish. After leaving the store my fiancé and I are 100% satisfied with our experience and will be returning for future purchases.
Our salesperson was also the manager over the Temper Pedic mattress department. “Chris” was very knowledgeable and professional. He made our visit very educational whilst creating an atmosphere of warmth. I would certainly recommend Ashley Furniture and encourage you to ask for “Chris” or “Dr. Sleep.”
Corteney did a great job, greeted us at the door., allowed us to browse and shop alone and was ready to assist us when we needed. Very friendly, she made the purchase fun and comfortable.
I came in back in April of 2021, we ordered love seat, sofa and recliner. First the salesman told us that they would pick our old furniture up which was a lie. Then we were told it will be here in May. Then it was July 1st to July 28th, then August 5 to August 10th now today I’m told September 18th. This is ridiculous. I ordered online my end tables and got them in two weeks. I mean this is upsetting. What if this was a bed and I had nothing or had given my current furniture away on a promise to deliver. No one can explain to me why I have been pushed back so much but it’s Covid. My suggestion is Ashley’s need to stop selling furniture if Covid has them lying to customers!!
Paid cash for several pieces of furniture. We were told everything was in stock and would be delivered within 2-3 weeks. After not hearing anything for over a month, I was told it would now be close to October before getting our pieces (over 3 months later). We were told they would check on the order and I would receive a call back. Never happened. I guess they figured they have your money so they're good. Won't buy from here again.
My paid for furniture took well past the delivery date to come in, the delivery guys weren’t very nice, and my 2 throw pillows STILL have not gotten to me after purchasing in March. I called and asked where they were and they told me the store signed off on it as though they had given it to me and my local store would reach out to me to correct the issue and I still haven’t heard back.

I love the furniture here. Everyone that worked with me was very kind and patient. The associate that I saw was out of town on vacation, but he still took the time to check up on me and make sure that I had everything that I needed. When I returned to the store, another associate helped me out, including the store manager, to make sure that I received the best deal possible. The workers here at the Lafayette store are very committed and dedicated to their customers and make sure that you leave there happy. Everyone works together. It had been a while since I bought something from Ashley, but I'm so glad that I did!

First time buyer from Ashley Furniture in Lafayette, LA. Horrible Experience! Had 4 different delivery dates. Kept getting pushed back. Finally got my delivery almost 2 months from purchasing in store n was missing one item after all that time. Of course sales people are gunna be nice they want the sale but the distribution side horrible. Even my sales woman quit. Michael and Isabel were rude at this location n horrible customer service. Unless you wanna wait months for your items this is the store for you. Will not be a returning customer! If I would of known I would of canceled after first push back date. But me being a first time buyer didn’t really know but I learned after this experience. Do not sign the paper until you test everything n make sure they have your whole order! We purchased a sectional in April 2021, paid cash. Was suppose to be delivered in 8-12 weeks max. Now it is delayed til November. Worst customer service ever. No one has any idea why this is happening. They scheduled a delivery 2 weeks ago then canceled the day before and no one knows who scheduled it. I had a friend go in to purchase same sectional and they told her 8 weeks. Still selling the same product and telling people false delivery dates. Worst company ever!! Sales man said he would get with his manager and try and find out and call me right away !! Lol. Never called!!!

I ordered a rug from Ashley in Lafayette, La on January 1st. The rug was suppose to come in mid February. Well by April I still hadn’t heard anything so I called and they told me it would be a couple more weeks. I went ahead and canceled the order. Here we are almost 3 months later and I have yet to receive my refund. I keep getting excuses as to why I haven’t gotten my refund and I am tired of it. I have given them plenty of chances to make this right. I hate posting this because the time really is nice but enough is enough.

Very bad sale representations. Tell you one thing then 5 minutes another. Said mattress was going to be about 2 weeks then went to 3 months. Told them could not wait 3 months and refund my money and now they want 10 percent. I don't think so.
Easy and simple experience. I knew what I wanted before I ever went to the store so I wasn’t up for a sales pitch. Luckily I didn’t have to hear one because the staff was very nice enough to hear what I wanted and give me the time to decide on it without pushing products in my face.
👎🏾👎🏾 From my experience as of June 20, 2021 If you buy furniture or mattresses that still wrapped in plastic and in box, once the mattresses that’s still wrapped up in a box and it has been delivered in your home they WONT refund your money; you will be Stuck to keep it!! Manager could have make an exception and refund me. DON’T BUY ANYTHING THERE! You CANNOT get your money back; I know from my own experience.
Our visit to Ashley Home Furniture Store in Lafayette was a good experience. We found the furniture we wanted and got a great price. Donovan was very helpful with selling us the furniture. He also showed us the Tempur-Pedic mattresses and went over their great qualities. We will definitely return soon to purchase one.
We had a delightful time looking for a new coffee table. They had a large selection and were very helpful finding one that matches our desired specs. We found just what we needed.
Bought a furniture set from here in March 20, 2021. I was told it was going to be a 6-8 week delivery. We were accepting of that at purchase. May 18 I get a call telling me my furniture was going to be delivered on May 21st. So we give away our old furniture to someone who could use it. When the delivery truck shows up all it has is the chair and ottoman. This was never informed to us that it was going to be a partial delivery. My wife calls and asked them about this. They apologized, gave us a $400 credit, told us the sofa would be in late the following week, but the love seat would still be another several weeks. We were very appreciative of this and thanked them for their help. Next week comes and I get a call on Thursday saying I would have a delivery on Saturday May 29th. We'll we aren't going to be home on weekend so I reschedule delivery for Tuesday June 2nd. I stay home that day from work to wait for the delivery and the sofa never comes in. I get on the websites online messenger and the person on there tells me it won't be in until August 10th!!! So I get on the phone a get a call center, the lady on there looks into it and tells me their was an issue with the truck and it would have to go back to the warehouse and I should get a call in 24 hours to reschedule delivery. I thank her for her help. 24 hours later I do not get a call. I call the call center again, the first person either hung up on me or we got disconnected. The 2nd person I talk to tells me she is going to send an inquiry to the warehouse and I should hear back from her in 24 to 48 hours. I never hear back. My wife calls the Lafayette store. The lady she talked to, Ysabel Corbello, says she sorry she does not see where our furniture ever made it to the warehouse in the first place and it would still be a few weeks (this is the same person that told us it would be in the week after the chair and ottoman.) She gets a message to the manager to call her back within the day. No one calls back She offer us another credit but we decide we want to go in to get this resolved. She tells us coming in Sunday would be best because the store manager Andrew Adams would be there. We go in Sunday June 6th to talk to Andrew, he calls the warehouse. They said they do not have our sofa but he will put it on high alert and should only be 3-4 weeks, at this point I can't believe anything anyone is saying. He also says Ysabel who gave us the 2nd credit had no right to offer a 2nd credit and we could not get that. He keeps telling us he will do whatever it takes to resolve this but offers no help. He also keeps passing the buck and says he is not responsible for the factory or the warehouse. When I asked him to see my bill on the computer he shows me one number of what I owe which is $1,500 less than what I thought I owed. I tell him to print out the invoice so I can have this. If this is the case I will accept the issue. Well when he comes back with the invoice he comes back with two invoices. One with the price he told me and the other with the missing $1,500. The $1,500 is what was already delivered along with delivery charges and I do owe that also. He tried to make it seem like that was already paid for me WHICH IT WAS NOT. At this point I'm so aggravated I tell him to come pick up the furniture that's at my house. He says once delivered it cannot be returned. He gave us no resolve. TLDR: This place has the some of the worst communication I have ever seen. The call center gives you a completely different answer than the store, nobody is on the same page, and however long they tell you on your furniture, be prepared to wait longer. Also, if they try to give you a partial DO NOT ACCEPT. You will not be able to return if you don't get your other furniture.

This is the worst furniture place to ever buy from you're better off going to Home Furniture or rooms to go unless you want to fight to get your money back after they tell you it's going to take up to two weeks to get it back so better off going somewhere else
My husband and I ordered a bedroom set TWO months ago. We were originally told 4-6 weeks our furniture would be delivered. 4-6 weeks came and went no phone call, nothing. Crickets. I called, they told me a date and that they would call me the day before that to set up a delivery time. Day before came, no phone call. I called just to find out it wasn’t getting delivered that date, in fact they couldn’t deliver for a whole week there after. Repeat this process TWICE. Told a delivery date, no phone call, no show. I’ve called now 6 times to talk to a supervisor, in which I am told someone will give me call back, no one ever calls. This is unacceptable business and I will be taking my business elsewhere and also warning future customers about the beyond horrible customer service! I will be in contact with corporate to make sure they know this location is terrible.

Horrible service. .. We ordered items back in January they said February would be in. Never got a call. Called numerous times to find out delivery date they said March. We call in March because we didn't hear anything they said April. We decided to call corporate & they couldn't find order because it was under wrong phone, wrong name & address. Finally got somewhere with corporate they find out our item was a re-select. Meaning it was discontinued need to go to store & pick something different. I looked online there was nothing I wanted, but they pushed us to try select something. My fiancé asked to cancel item, but then had nerve to say they were going to charge us a 10% fee to cancel. How I earth is that right??? They ordered something that was discontinued & because there isn't anything in store you going to charge 10% cancel fee. We wouldn't have it so we called escalations office spoke to two very helpful great women that got it taken care for us. This store has officially lost my business.
We had an appointment @ 2pm and arrived about 10 minutes early. Gwen Simon greeted us almost immediately and confirmed our appointment. She graciously showed us around and carefully listened to our interests. We shopped for a sectional sofa. She showed us pretty much their entire selection. We eventually decided on one and ordered it. This was our first visit at this store. We had lost furniture in Hurricane Laura & Delta and are still in the process of replacing it. We understand that there is a furniture and appliance shortage due the pandemic. Our furniture should be delivered in mid July. Because of the value of our order we received a generous discount. Overall we were very pleased with the service. Ms Simon was very helpful and patient with us.
This is about my sales representative... I had a great experience at the Ashley Homestore in Lafayette, Louisiana. My sales representative was very attentive, respectful, helpful, & nice. This is about customer service... When my nightstand arrived one of the drawers was broken. I called customer service, which were not helpful, and they told me to send an email with pictures of the broken part and a little more information so I did. The recording said they would call within 24 hours. Waited 3 days...no call. If I had to review customer service they would get 3 stars. I called my sales rep back, after waiting 3 days for customer service to callback, & he took care of it immediately and had a new nightstand on its way within about 30 minutes. He was an amazing rep.
The store prices and online prices are different. Do you research before buying. The store doesn't receive the online price info so although it's the same company, everyone has different prices. RIDICULOUS! everything in the store is "4-6 weeks" but is "in stock". Not the case! It means these products are on a list to be made by manufacturer, but not actually in stock. Had to cancel the order which took a week since their policy is your cancellation request gets put on a list to the store manager who then calls you at their convenience to verify cancellation and try to convince you to purchase item anyway. Amazon and Walmart sell Ashley furniture and only lists actual in stock items. Ordered my end tables for $100 a piece less from Walmart and received 1 week later.

Very clean and nice selection. Our sales person was patient no pressure and understanding spent well over two hours with us. Got the customized section and best works for the space we had to work with. Over all highly satisfied with sales portion. Delivery 4-6 weeks due to back stock which I get is COVID related hoping that’s the real timeline.

I went in alone and looked around. I was assisted by Donovan and the info he shared with me was great. My husband and I decided to drop in after supper at 8:15 pm. Nevaha and Michael both helped us because Donovan had left for the day. Both Michael and Nevaha were excellent at answering all our questions and making us feel comfortable about our purchase. They never once made us feel like we were inconveniencing them because it was late.

Our furniture assistant was great. My husband was not precise on the furniture that he wanted to purchase. He changed his mind quite a bit. The furniture assistant was very patient and very kind. We ended up coming back the next day. We were able to come to an agreement on the furniture that we wanted. The Furniture Assistant redid the paperwork and we were on our way. We are expecting a bed with base in a week and a half and a leather sofa in 2 months. They even had the color leather that my husband wanted!!! Truly it was a wonderful experience on both days.
Great furniture, a bit pricy but excellent quality. You definitely get what you pay for. But ther delivery dates are way too long and the delivery logistics are a disaster. The delivery drivers are not professional at all. When my furniture finally came in it was missing pieces and Ashley is giving me the run around to get the rest of my furniture. It's a shame it will not let you review someone with zero stars. Will never shop with Ashley HomeStore again

If I could give a 0 I would!! Ordered beds March 19. Pushed back the date 3 times since then. I paid cash for the beds. Asked for refund. She said I had to wait on a check. If you haven’t delivered the beds in 3 months you won’t send my check quick enough!
Courtney was a pleasure to work with. She let us browse and didn't try to constantly increase our order. She also looked online for matching pieces that were not in the store. Very customer service oriented and of great assistance. She offered great prices and made purchasing easy.
Had an overall terrible experience with this store despite making two purchases and liking the first one a fair bit. They will do whatever it takes to make the sale and refuse to accept their fault when you need to get a refund. I have heard different stories about whether or not I can even get a refund while dealing with a loan they wanted me to take from a predatory company. It’s an absolute mess and cannot at all recommend anybody shop here. I had the salesperson, Don, even call me to try to convince me that the sale I didn’t want was good; he really just wanted to argue with me without hearing me out at all. I have dealt with car salesmen before, but they look good compared to the tripe at this place.

I thought the store was very nice. The selections of furniture & mattresses are good quality. What I don't like is you're not told off bat that they check your credit for your merchandise. I was told 2 different things by first the salesperson, then the finance manager. Other than that, there are some friendly staff members & I really enjoyed Mr. Chris & he was extremely helpful!!

Salesman Carlos in Lafayette helped me find the perfect sleeper couch and dining table. He even moved the furniture around to see how it would look next to other pieces I was interested in! He wasn't too pushy and gave me time to think about what I wanted and even encouraged me to come back to purchase the next day. I must say friendly service but my table came in three weeks after the expected date. I ordered a love seat and sofa the same day, the sofa came in but not the loveseat which will be in approximately in another week!!!!! Update: I purchased a bedroom set on 26 October. Got most of it on 24 November. When the set was delivered, there were no side rails or slats for the bed. I immediately called Ashley. The lady I talked to said that I should have specified that I needed the bed rails. She was very rude. After more than 10 trips to the store, and too many calls to count, the bed rails were delivered on 9 February. Customer service was very bad, in store help was even worse. Tried to get a refund in January for the bed itself, but was told that all sales are final. Will never shop at Ashley Furniture again.
TJ was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Everything else has sucked. We purchased a couch and was told it would be 2-4 weeks for delivery. Since then, we’ve gotten nothing but the run around. The delivery date constantly gets pushed back, our pieces aren’t being built, so on and so forth. Super fed up with this experience and we just want the couch that we spent hard earned money on.
Ordered bunk beds for my daughter back in September. We were told it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery. In December we were scheduled for delivery and got a call saying the side boards were damaged and we would get the bed sometime in January. FEBRUARY 9th, we were finally scheduled for delivery and AGAIN got a call saying the bed wouldn’t be delivered. This time it was due to the ladder not being shipped. I am LIVID. We will never order from Ashley furniture again. I know of several people who got their items immediately after purchase, this is careless and very unprofessional.

I understand covid has thrown a wrench in EVERYTHING but we have been given false information 3 separate times. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Just bought a sectional sofa from here. TJ was our sales rep. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. I would highly recommend anyone to come here to buy your furniture! Edit: This was not the stores fault but a company issue. We bought our couch in January. Paid in full at the time. It took THREE MONTHS and about 50 calls to get my couch delivered. The staff in this store were amazing but corporate needs to do an overhaul on the shipping and processing of orders. I understand that there are complications due to covid and other current events. But taking 3 months with not a single text message, email, phone call, nothing, is completely unacceptable. Not to mention I was given multiple delivery dates in the 50+ calls I made and each one "fell through". Its one thing to say hey we do not have it yet. But a completely different thing when you straight up lie to me 4 times. Rant over. Recommend the staff in store. Great and helpful people. But until they get their delivery network fixed. Do not buy from them.
I recently purchased a sectional. There was some miscommunication on the delivery side and the location of the furniture in transit and I was super frustrated when making the call and finally getting a person in the store. Courtney took the time to explain all of the details of the operations trouble they were having and where exactly my furniture was. The outside customer service line needs some serious work but the local team were fabulous and kept me from canceling my order.
Absolutely HORRIBLE experience so far. Came into the store October/November looking for a couch and was told we needed to order it ASAP if we wanted it in for December, which we did. I completely understand that COVID has caused backups, but the lack of professionalism and false information is where I am frustrated. We were given an estimate that our couch would come in last week, so we called to confirm. The lady who answered said that our couch was ready, but the love seat would not be ready till the following week. We were slightly annoyed, but the lady said we could pick up our couch first. When we arrived at the store the lady had no idea what we were talking about and said that neither of our pieces were available for pickup. Completely confused how we were told it was ready for pick up when it was not. While at the store the lady said our couch would be ready on January 19 (today) and loveseat would be ready January 26th. Just called to see if our couch was ready and it has yet to get pushed back again another week. This situation would be a lot less frustrating if we were given more straightforward answers. Not even sure if we will receive our couch any time soon due to the lack of cohesive communication. Will never ever purchase from Ashley Furniture again and I highly recommend others to stay away unless you're okay with sitting on your living room floor for months.

We knew ordering furniture during the pandemic was going to be a hassle but we were prepared for that. What we were not prepared for was a total lack of professionalism. Communication from them was a nightmare. No one could give a straight answer about anything. We told them we needed this before December as we were expecting our first child. They assured us it would be delivered before then. Our arrival date was pushed back multiple times ( we bought this couch in July, was told October ETA, hasn't arrived, canceled order). When we finally asked what was happening with our couch, they told us it wasn't even built yet. Went elsewhere, was able to purchase in store, delivered two days later. DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM THEM. MAKE SURE IT'S IN STOCK AND BUILT BEFORE YOU ORDER.

Made a purchase on 9/7/20, which I was over charged on the protection plan and had to go back to correct, for a dining room and living room set. Day of purchase, my saleswoman said she had my dining room chairs in stock and were waiting on table. They called and scheduled delivery for table and chairs to be delivered on 10/8/20, which was the date promised the day of purchase. So I took off. They no call no show. I called main line to have a supervisor call me back, because we never could catch anyone in the local store via phone. Never did get a call back, 20 days ago. Today, 10/28/20, my table and love seat came in... no chairs. They obviously sold my chairs that were all scheduled (not estimated) be delivered on the 8th. Might I add, I had to take off of work to be there for this! So, I had to send back the table today until they can deliver the dining set together. What in the world am I supposed to do with just a table? Now, my new date for chairs, and hopefully table, is 12/4 & 12/27. My sofa is instead of 10/29, now 11/14. Living room chair is now scheduled for 11/6. The Ottoman 11/10. This is the most ridiculous thing I've seen. This is the third set of delivery dates I've heard. They will say it's Covid related but if that's the case, I'd have my dining room set. Now I've had to cancel Thanksgiving at our new home. Likely, Christmas if this keeps up. I intend to make this all well known to assist other buyers and the company in it's poor management. I doubt senior admin is unaware of local stores selling furniture or from under paid in full clients, all adding to the covid complications excuse. Update: (10-30-20) Still no call back. To date, I've yet to ever speak to a supervisor. Update: (11/29/20) Still without a dining room set, which led to cancellation of Thanksgiving at our residence. Large black gash on couch that was present upon delivery, still yet to schedule a time for someone to come by to see if it is removable. Pillow was missing upon delivery. I have email documentation stating they would reimburse the delivery expense and some off of the chairs, yet nothing posted to the original source of payment. Update: (12/22/20) The 2 chairs we awaited came into the store on 12/4 but went to someone else after we were scheduled the delivery for 12/9. Then it was stated it would be January, then February and now May of next year. Here is the email response of the representative: Hello, I do apologize but I recommend that Paige goes to the sales rep and ask for further options. The new date is 05/01/22. That usually means it is discontinued. I would ask for a sales manager. This is now out of my hands due to the dates. I will apply a 15% discount today on to your order. Thank you for your time and I hope you stay well. This is after she told us not to use the call reps. I do have email transcripts and have been asking for a supervisor but have never reached one. I am now requesting contact for an attorney to contact. I will be contacting local BBB, store manager and local owner. How can this even be capable of occurring? We also have damages from when the couch delivery was made that are unaddressed and a missing pillow.
Since the beginning. Ashley furniture has not treated us very well. They sold furniture we had the holding for us till we were ready for it, only a few months. Well for the sake of a sale they sold our item in the warehouse. So we were then left waiting months for our couches to be delivered. They also sold us a scam of protection plan on our couches. I was surprised a big company like Ashley is partnered with a scam. They obviously care nothing about their customers. In addition were misleading about of wonderful it is. The couches have been falling apart since day 1. There customer service call center is filled with people who don't know what they are doing. I will NEVER do business with Ashley again! If u look at mu review history it is filled with positive reviews. I love doing postive reviews. It really takes alot out of me to even take the time to do this. But if I can stop even one person from making the mistake we did. It's worth it.
Dont even bother unless you plan on waiting 4+ months, with terrible customer service, an arrival date that moves back every week and overall just terrible sales management. The furniture is meh. I paid in full and have been waiting 4+ months for rails to a bed set. Every time I call I either get put on hold forever, cant get anyone to pick up, get an excuse about “coronavirus”(over rails?) or the warehouse in Houston forgot to ship it out and the date gets pushed back another week. Every. Single. Time. Just go somewhere else and save your time and money.

Brian and Courtney were very nice and informative. The manger was there to answer all our questions. We spent 3 hours and changed our minds 4 times. But we saved 25% in 1 set and 35% on another.

Update: I posted about 2 months ago about purchasing furniture on July 4th and only receiving a partial delivery. After my negative post, I was contacted and received another PARTIAL delivery of furniture at the end of October. I waited a few days thinking that I would be notified about the rest of my furniture. It never happened. I sent an email to the person who reached out to me after the first post....no response. Today, December 1st, I called the local store and was able to speak to a representative. You will not believe the estimated date for the 2 chairs that I am missing. The chairs are exactly the same but somehow one is estimated to be delivered in February 2021 ( my original purchase date is July 4, 2020) and the other one is expected......hold on for this shock......in 2025!!! Yes, that is what I was told.....the year 2025! My son is in 8th grade and he will not receive the chair that I purchased for his room until he is a senior in high school! I can purchase a car and pay it off in the time that it will take to receive a chair that I have already paid for!!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! I DEMAND A REFUND!!!! Ordered beautiful furniture from this location on July 4th. We were given a delivery date in late August. We were very pleased with the consistent text messages keeping us updated on our delivery date. Once the delivery date arrived, we were MISSING OVER HALF of the order. The delivery driver seemed to be unaware that this was a partial delivery. I called the store about a week or two later to get a status on the rest of my order. I was given a delivery date and told that I would receive a call 1-2 days prior to the delivery. No phone call and no delivery. I have called this store for 3 weeks straight, morning, noon, and evening....NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! They did not hesitate to take THOUSANDS of dollars from me for furniture, but do not have the common courtesy as a BUSINESS to answer the phone about furniture I have PAID For but do not have in my possession! DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU CAN TOLERATE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION REGARDING SOMETHING YOU ALREADY PAID FOR BUT CAN'T SEEM TO GET DELIVERED TO YOU!

Went in just looking for a king bed, showed me so many different options it was great. Got a twenty five percent discount and got a great bed. The service was so great April was the best service person she took her time to help find the right bed for us can’t say enough about her she is such a great asset to there company.
My experience with Ashley was incredibly disappointing. I'll tell you the story. We visited the store and found a sectional that we liked. We also ordered a new coffee table. We place the order and was told that it was going to take 6 to 8 weeks to get our order in. That's fine, I understand because of covid. 4 weeks later, we get a call to lets us know that our sectional model is not even being manufactured anymore. Not sure why it took an entire month to let us know this, but I can live with it. They tell us that we can have the floor model at a discounted rate. That seems to be an acceptable compromise. Now we had to wait for the coffee table. A couple more weeks pass by, and the coffee table is shipped in. Once I get it home and attempt putting it together, I realize that one of the legs is missing some of the holes necessary to put the entire thing together. I bring the leg in with another one that does have the holes to show them what was wrong. They tell me that they have a guy that works in the back that can likely fix it. After calling everyday for four days straight, they finally realized that he cannot help me and instead placed the order for a new leg without even calling me first. So, after a couple days of trying to get in touch with somebody, we got in touch with the salesperson that sold us the couch. We requested that she called us back after speaking with her manager within an hour. After 3 hours, we decided to just go visit. We proceeded to find the salesperson sitting in a chair near the front door playing Candy Crush on her phone. This level of service is beyond frustrating. One week later, we get a shipment of four legs. Which would have been good news if any of those legs had wheels that we needed. So I had to go back for the fourth time to get back the legs that I brought in originally so that I can remove the wheels from them. After two months, we have furniture that we can actually use. Part of the table is warped, but we are so frustrated with dealing with them, that we're just dealing with it. It was a horrible buying experience that I will not repeat. TL;DR - 4 different unnecessary visits, horrible customer service, and a warps table to boot.
Ask for Aaron or Chris. Both have been extreme helpful when it comes to finding exactly what you’re looking for. Never felt pressured to buy anything at all by either of them. I’ve bought a recliner and mattress from here and now I am buying a sectional. Great in store customer service
Do NOT order furniture though Ashley. We ordered in July as did several friends. They said it would be in in August. Then October, the. November. Although Ashley promised to send notifications by text if there were changes or delays, the only sent the original text, and never updated us as delivery dates continued to blow by. Hold times are atrocious, and customer service is terrible. They take your money, never deliver, and they're downright flippant about it. At this rate I expect they will be out of business before delivering anyone's orders. And since they're obviously paying salaries based on speculation not production, they will probably tank and declare bankruptcy without making good on deliveries. Buyer beware. If you've already bought, cancel now before you waste 4 months like we have. They'll lead you on indefinitely if you let them.
Getting the payment plan set up was a very good experience! But, I believe the sales rep could have been more attentive to us she seemed to only be interested in the sale and not us.
If I could give a negative rating I would! I work for a non-profit charity, residential facility and we ordered some furniture for the residents rooms back IN JUNE!!! We are still waiting on delivery of said furniture. A co-worker had to physically go to the store to get an update because no one would answer the phone or return our calls. They finally scheduled the delivery of the sofas but said the chairs would be sometime NEXT YEAR! They just called and said one of the sofas is ripped so they will have to order another. So that'll probably take another 5-6 months. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! This place is a joke and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Never order anything from Ashley Furniture! They have the worst customer service! I ordered a bed in June and it's still in pieces in my room! It came in without a piece it needed. It took months to get that ordered now it's taken several visits to the store and long waits on the phone to get someone to come put it together. Everyone who works there is incompetent! I spent a TON of money with them! NEVER again!

Fantastic salesman helped me in every way even when I had him looking up number after number for closest delivery. He went over and beyond and didn't try to press me to buy anything. I wish all the mattress or furniture places who has a team on commission, I'm guessing, was as non-pushy and patient. The delivery dates are a little far out as of 10-22-20 but, there was a couple devastating hurricanes so that's probably why. This is my second time purchasing mattress and furniture from Ashley and I will go back to this one if I have to ever buy any again.
After visiting several furniture stores in our area, we finally found this store and were thrilled with the selection. We found the perfect bed and the financing was great and the best around!
First went here to purchase table and chairs walked in picked one out immediately took them 45+ minutes just to try and get a price finally just walked out . Wife came back next day bought table and 6 chairs later that evening on there website found same table with 8 chairs and extended warranty $200 cheaper wife goes back they give us the extra 2 chairs and said they would send a check for the extended warranty as they do not offer that in store and was told it would be a week before delivery well here we are a month later no check , no table , no chairs and not even a phone call for a update always have to track someone down to get there new excuse I've never had this problem at Home furniture
Our experience was wonderful! We walked in and were instantly greeted! Ms. Glynis was a joy to work with! She answered every question we had and got us an entire new bedroom set ordered and all paperwork completed within an hour! We will certainly be repeat customers!
Helpful but not pushy with sales. Loved their selection of furniture better than any other store in town. Had a variety of styles including mid century modern pieces that I couldn’t find anywhere else.
I knew what I wanted and walked in and was helped right away. It was an easy process to get it ordered ---- September Update: It has been four months, I still haven't received my furniture, and I can't get anyone on the phone to answer my questions, I just get hung up on. Don't waste your time, or your money in this store. I sure wish I hadn't, now I'm going through hoops to get my money back --- October Update: Received my refund for my pieces that weren't delivered but they haven't refunded my delivery fee over a month later. Seriously fed up with this store. Worst experience purchasing furniture ever
They never answer there phone. I guess the new store is closed.
The furniture is beautiful and of good quality. April was friendly and patient with us as we made our selection. The sale was great today as well. We placed our order today (10-3-20) and told it will be 8-12 weeks for delivery. So I’ll keep you posted as to when and how my furniture arrives.

Another Update: Chaise cushion has now busted at the seams... terrible product on top of terrible service. Never again... UPDATE : Still no furniture, cancellation after cancellation. Purchased the couch back in May for Memorial Day sale. It has even cost us more financially passing up overtime at work. Just to be home, and get disappointed for no shows. They don't let you know about cancellation until the day of and a hour, or two before scheduled delivery time. Comments below explain it all. I am normally a very patient person. But this store @ 200 Westmark Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70506 customer service is pathetic. Please see problems/review below. Keep in mind Covid-19 issue but customer service and communication is still pathetic. Lied about return policies, delivered partially which is okay I guess as long you're honest and deliver the rest in a timely manner and try to do right by your customers, almost 9 weeks since purchase still incomplete order, no answer on when it's coming, no communication on deliveries, and my order can't be found by me looking it up Yes I accepted partial delivery. Once unloaded at my house I asked about the rest. Delivery guys then said "They didn't tell y'all?" , about it being partial. Once delivery guy said that the rest is coming the following week, I then signed for accepting the delivery (like an idiot), but trusting them by what I was told. Then here come the lies about return policy which they admitted, to the store did. So here we are almost 9 weeks since purchase, with missing furniture, and no answers. All we want is information on furniture delivery or return of partial, and/or to be resolved in a timely manner by doing right by your customers.
TERRIBLE experience! If I could rate ZERO stars I would!!!! Take your money to a locally owned furniture store, not this place! Ordered and paid for my bedroom set and left the store. Reviewed the order and realized they ordered most of the wrong pieces! I live 30 minutes away so I called. Thankfully the sales person gave me their cell # because you can NEVER get anyone on the phone! Had to pay the difference over the phone. Original delivery date was too early because I wouldn’t have been in my new home yet, so I had them change the date to about 4 days later. Never heard from them again! Couldn’t get them on the phone so I had to drive all the way back to the store. Well delivery was scheduled 5 days after I needed it! So I requested to cancel because they couldn’t delivery any sooner and I needed furniture in my new home. Tried to charge me a 10% restocking fee! Had to wait about 30 minutes so they could get approval from their home office over the phone because managers have absolutely no ability to do anything for their customers! Ridiculous. So, they approve a full refund, no restocking charge. Said would be 5 days before refund shows. Ok. I see a refund from them 2 days later for the difference I paid over the phone when they corrected my order. I drove back to the store after the 5 days to see why I hadn’t received the remaining refund, because again NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. You. Just. Sit. On. Hold!!... Manager pulled up my order and said it has been requested. They only had clearance to refund the $79 but not the $2300! But assured me I would receive the remaining $2300 on that Friday. Ok. So here I sit 2 weeks later and no refund!! No one answers, not even the cell phone of the sales person! What a joke. Had to dispute the charge on my credit card to get the refund they promised me!! Never ever do business with these people!!! Every time I went to the store there was someone in there complaining about not receiving their furniture for at least 4 months! Thankfully Home Furniture had the same exact set for the same price and I was able to get it the very next day!!
The customer service in-store is great, which is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. I recently moved into an apartment and needed a bedroom set. We bought a beautiful one with a new mattress in mid July -- Due to COVID, they warned us the delivery could be up to 6-8 weeks, but *wink wink* possibly sooner since the set was newer. I have been patient and understanding with the delivery date, which is not the issue. The issue is I received a text on Aug 3 that my furniture was tentatively set for Aug 25 -- Well, approaching this date, I received no further contact or information on delivery. I took the initiative to call and just get an update after hearing nothing on Aug 25... Waited on the phone for over 10 minutes twice, no answer, nothing. I got online to get in touch with a sales associate through the chat, they tell me that my delivery date should not have been scheduled on that day because I'm in a Wednesday Only delivery zone. The associate sets me up for a delivery date on 9/9 and tells me I'll receive a call 2 days prior to set up a time. Okay, fine. Here I am two days before, and NO CALL to set up times. I have work and cannot know the day before or day of for a delivery time. I am just so upset by the lack of communication. I have been sleeping on an air mattress for WEEKS, being patient for this delivery. I wouldn't even care if they'd just keep in touch about the changes of my order. Let's see if I even get it this Wednesday. UPDATE: 9/15/20 I did not receive my furniture that Wednesday, which is a good thing — because they had the WRONG delivery address. When we bought the furniture, they put the billing address as the shipping, we asked multiple times if they changed the shipping before we left. They said yes... I call to maybe arrange a partial delivery & wanted to verify the delivery address... WRONG PLACE. I had to go in person 2 days in a row to make sure this was fixed. I am now expecting my order at the end of this month. I cannot wait to get my furniture & be done with this. The people at this store are very nice, I will say that. They do what they can, but there is a loss of communication somewhere down the line that needs to be fixed. I have never been so frustrated with buying anything in my life.
By far the worst place to get furniture going on 3 mths can’t get no one on the phone they take your money real fast tell you about 6 wks and it never comes they should shut the store down until they can get people there products and get caught up with all the back orders so very 😡😡🤬🤬
I'm aware COVID has turned somethings upside down, however the lack of proper communication from this store was a deal breaker for us. We ordered our furniture early in June. We were told it would be approximately 6 weeks for delivery. We did not receive our furniture until the second week of September. That's a little over a month than expected. Meanwhile, nobody would ever answer the phone at the store. We had to make repeated trips to the store to get updates on our delivery. We were given MULTIPLE delivery dates which kept getting pushed back or just plain "I don't knows". Very frustrating when making an important purchase for your home.
Went in to pick up an online order..and met Chris..the mattress man..he was very kind and not pushy..shared valuable information about mattress..and other important factors of a quality mattress..I bought two awesome pillows and will be coming back for a mattress..Thanks for your kindness Chris!!!!
BEWARE! We paid cash for an order in April of 2020. Actually getting our furniture has been a nightmare. Some of our pieces arrived in June. The rest were to arrive in July. Well that didn't happen either! We are now rescheduled for August 25th and MAYBE September 2nd. I do not recommend anyone purchase from this store. **** Update**** I reached out to the below email and one week later, we got a call and said that they were checking on it. We then get an email that 1 of the 3 remaining pieces to our couch will be delivered. Great! Yes, we finally got 1 more piece! It did deliver at the end of August. Then on Saturday Sept 5, we get an email that our final 2 pieces will be delivered on Sept 8. Yay! Well low and behold, we get a call at Noon on Sept 8 telling us that the pieces are on back order and it will now be November!!! I still can't believe that this place can sell something and never deliver the product. We ordered custom furniture and it was delivered before this entire couch has arrived. I am not kidding, stay far, far away from this place. Drive to Dallas if you have to. But do not shop here. EVER

All I had to do was visit the store to finalize the purchase. For someone like myself who hates to shop, on a budget and very little free time Abbie made all the hassle and headache disappear!! Ordered a $3300 Stearns and Foster, received nothing for 2 months, not even a phone call, even when we were told we would get a call back. We would call once a week to find out where it was and were pacified with "Next Tuesday", or "Next Thursday." 4 weeks in Houston at their warehouse after the first month was what we found out. This week, we were actually called and told it would be at the store in Lafayette for pickup on 9-5-20 from 9am to 7pm. Made arrangements to rent a trailer to pick it up, went to the store WHEN THEY TOLD US TO; still no mattress and no one knows when it'll be there. Told them to shove their 10 percent cancellation fee and I took ALL my money back. Sorry crowd here that runs the show. Important note: 2 weeks after we found out the mattress was in Houston, we offered to pick it up from there at the warehouse with our own vehicle, but that wasn't an option apparently. Stearns and Foster really should address who is selling their products...... I wish I could give less than a 1 star rating. Absolute waste of time and resources and nothing but lies from every angle on their behalf.

I went in to find a reasonably priced basic grey sofa that our mastiff could enjoy as well as the family. April R. brought me straight to the options that fit our needs. She didn’t try to sell me anything out of my price range and made the transaction very easy. The only thing I’d change if I could would be the wait time for our new sofa, but that’s not the store’s fault. She then showed us a few mattress options once we had completed what we originally went in for. There was no pressure. She answered our questions. And seemed truly thankful for the business. Would recommend.
I was super excited to see Lafayette had an Ashley Homestore! Our visit was a great one. We were greeted at the door and everyone was very friendly. Our sales associate Abigail was a pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us while we decided on our purchase!

I found the display floor huge. I was impressed with the large selection. When I found an item close to what I wanted the salesman showed me other like items online. I selected one of the items and they gave me the freedom to take home the information to review. Later that day I was shown that they would price match. I found a better price and contacted Ashley. They assured me they would meet the price. I went in the next day and the salesman remembered me as well as my selections. I placed my order immediately. Update: I was told that my items would arrive at the store for me to pick up on the 8th of August. When the 8th came and went I called in and didn't get anyone to answer the phone though I sat on the automatic hold line for 5 minutes or so. The next day I received an automated text telling me that my items would be 0-2 weeks before delivery. Yesterday was the 17th and i called and waited on hold again for 10 minutes with no one ever picking up. Today is the 18th and I have not heard anything further about my items.
The customer service was amazing! I wanted the perfect bedroom suite and it took me forever to decide on which one to choose but they patiently walked back and forth with me until I decided on one!! They were fun and cared about what I wanted and not what they could sell me! It was an amazing experience!!
We went in with an idea of exactly what we wanted and were shown only what we were interested in. We weren't pushed into any upsell or to look at things we had no interest in. Super efficient shopping experience and the ability to mix and match pieces as we wanted. The furniture is a good quality for the price you pay.
I visited Ashley Home Store and found the prettiest furniture for my new apartment. Glynis was extremely sweet and helpful! They had a great deal going on for the weekend which made the living room set and dining room set a steal! Recommended to my sister already for her new house and recommend to anyone looking for modern, comfortable, affordable furniture!

Of all the places in the area this was my best experience. The selection and service was exceptional.
We ordered a new table and chairs 2 months ago. After they have rescheduled delivery 3 times, they finally showed up with only part of our furniture. The table had a little damage, my wife said it was fine so we accepted it. They said the other chairs would be delivered the next Saturday. On Friday afternoon they called to reschedule for the next weekend. That is 5 Saturday’s we have had to alter our plans to get furniture delivered and they never show. I will never spend another dime in that place. On top of that, they do not answer the phone when you call.
2 months now and still do not have our furniture. it's beyond hard to reach anyone to get updates. Very disappointed! We have purchased many other pieces of furniture through them and seems like its a continual issue with anything we buy. We will no longer be going through them for our future funiture needs.
Suzan listened as I described what we were looking for, and though it was very specific, she led me directly to the perfect sofa for what we needed. She let me sit on it for a while to make sure and even kept me company and answered all my questions. Next day I brought my wife, and again Suzan made our decision and purchase very simple. Great place to do business.

Customer Service within the store was great, however the management and delivery of what I ordered has been poor. I asked for my item to be delivered all at once, it wasn’t. I ordered over a month ago and just received my 5th notification that they are rescheduling my delivery, yet again. I do not know where my item is, no one can tell me where it is to at least pick it up myself. This is disappointing.
My Sales associate was Aaron. He was very knowledgeable and helpful about the services and products that I would Receive. I was able to Text him what my wants were And met Him at the store and he was able to supply everything that I wanted. And on top of that I got a health care discount on my delivery. And he also gave me other discounts on top of that great Guy, great service. I'm happy with my purchase.

One of my friends bought furniture from Dwayne cola in new Orleans Louisiana and told me about the sales rep who sold him his furniture and gave me his number. So I gave him a call about me wanting a bed for my new apartment in Houston Texas and Mr. Dwayne cola made sure I got what I wanted. I'm from Louisiana so visiting Lafayette Louisiana on today I went into the Ashley store and purchased the bed I wanted. Mr. Dwayne had all my requests ready even though I had to go from king to queen I was very satisfied with his service from new Orleans the sales rep in Lafayette Louisiana Keisha. She was lovely and very nice. She did not stop either until I get what I wanted. I'm a happy customer.

Went today just to look around at different places for some furniture in our new home. But we encountered one the best , knowledgeable and friendly salesperson we've ever met. Suzan met us at the door and it was non-stop from there. We told her of all the different items we were interested in and she took off. Had us sampling everything we wanted and with no pressure and less than about later we walked out giddy and happy. Thanks Suzan and Ashley homes.
I have been loyal to the Ashley furniture brand for years and it is because of the professionalism of their sales reps and store managers. My sales lady really took her time with me and did not pressure me or rush me at all, and I greatly appreciate that. I can be very indecisive but she greeted me with a genuine smile each time I changed my mind. The ONLY reason I am not rating it 5 stars is because of the whole delivery issue. It looks like I might not get to enjoy my new furniture for quite some time because of the skeleton delivery crew. PLEASE Ashley Furniture, bring back your full ( or mostly full) delivery crew so I can enjoy my new furniture ASAP! But other than this issue, April and Lee in the Lafayette store earned and deserve all 5 stars!!
BUYERS BEWARE,READ AS MANY REVIEWS YOU CAN ABOUT ASHLEY FURNITURE BEFORE EVEN CONSIDERING TO BUY FROM THIS STORE,On Thurs Feb 20th i went into the Ashley Home Store,looking for a recliner and i found one i liked and my salesman was Brian Parmly,so i decided to put that one on layaway,I put 200.00 down that day,and Brian told me it would have been in on Tuesday Feb 25th,after he told me that,i said good i can come get it out in a week or two weeks maybe a month,cause it was a 90 day no interest plan,so on Feb 26th,i went into the store and i put another 150.00 dollars cash and i asked at the desk so is my recliner in and she told me oh no after you finished paying it out then we order the recliner,i said oh no Brian told me it would be here on Feb 25th,So i left the store and went to Home Funiture on Johnston Street,Great Store and Staff,and found the same recliner for a few dollars cheaper and was able to pick that one up the next day.So i called Ashley Home Store to cancel my order,cause i found the same recliner cheaper and was able to pick it up the next day and told her once im finished here,i was going get my 350.00 cash money that i paid them and she told me we do not give back cash it will take 4 to 6 weeks to process a check to me which is uncalled for,i paid cash and im suppose to get my cash back,so i waited 4 weeks nothing 6 weeks still nothing,ive called customer service countless times it took about 4 days to finally get in touch with them and all they would tell me it shows its being processed and she submitted a ticked,so i called a day lata and stayed on the phone for and hour to hear the same thing i heard the first time,and i had ask the two people i talked to at customer service,what was the name and number of the buisness that processed the check,and neither one could give me a name or number,i was getting very frustraded with this funiture store,so after all this,i found the number to headquaters,when i called a guy answered,i asked him about my check,and he hung up on me,so i called back about 4 hours later and he actually cursed me out,tomorrow will be eight weeks i have not recieved anything,it dont take 8 weeks to print a check,when i paid them cash money,and i want my cash,i just wished i would have read the reviews about this store first,because i never would have bought anything at the Ashley Homestore on 200 Westmark Blvd Lafayette La!!!!

Our delivery people were professional and courteous as well. They made our delivery experience great! They were punctual and I was informed via text msg when they were on the way. Went visit the store in Lafayette to get a new mattress. My sales person Aaron was really knowledgeable about sleep health and helped me pick out a new temper pedic mattress. I would definitely recommend anyone searching for a new mattress to see Aaron at the Lafayette store.

The attention and care were awesome. Everyone was nice and friendly from the sales representatives to the management. Only issue was the inconsistent pricing between instore and online. If the online pricing and shipping is $$$ lower and faster than instore( even after instore added discounts) then what is the incentive of shopping at a brick and mortar?
Never ever will I shop Ashley again. I bought a bed that has come in twice broken. So I decided to order a different bed. It has been on back order for over a month and still not in for delivery. It is over 3 months I've been trying to get a bed in.

My wife and I enjoyed our shopping experience at Ashley's, we shopped at the Opelousas store before and were happy to find out that Ashley's opened up in Lafayette. Our salesperson April was very helpful and showed us around without the high pressure of other furniture store salespeople who attack you at every corner of the store.
