We had a great experience shopping at Ashley today. Our salesman was helpful with answering our questions, but did not pressure or pester us. We feel like we got a great deal on the piece of furniture we bought.
We recently relocated to the area and purchased a sofa, loveseat, chair, and king bedroom set from the Lake Charles Ashley Furniture. The overall buying experience was great, but everything went downhill from there. The sofa, loveseat, and chair was scheduled to be delivered to us on a Tuesday but nobody showed up or called us to reschedule. We called the store and scheduled again for a Thursday, and again nobody showed up or called us to reschedule. Since the store had the furniture, we decided to pick it up ourselves thinking that would be easier. Unfortunately, even us trying to pick up the furniture from the store was a challenge. We were told that we could only load from certain doors, and a comment was then made about some doors tracking guests in store by corporate. After loading everything and thinking the worst was behind us, the same issue repeated itself today with our king bedroom set. Part of our order was scheduled to be delivered, but we received an autogenerated text that the delivery was cancelled. Again, no call from anyone explaining why or asking us to reschedule. After calling the store, I was assured that everything was now scheduled for delivery again on 8/2. Shortly after that call, I received another call from Ashley saying I still needed to schedule part of the order. The lack of customer service and organization at this store blows my mind. Who knows if the furniture will actually show up on 8/2, the only thing I know for certain at this point is we will not be back.
Worst furniture buying experience ever. The entire staff is misleading and lies to get a sale. We had promised delivery dates, finance rates, etc. They changed the financing without informing us and they have rescheduled our delivery 4 times now. Nobody is on the same page. The store tells us one thing, and then we get another phone call from someone else telling us another. Three times now furniture was supposed to be delivered, and nobody called to tells us it wasn’t coming. That is both unprofessional and disrespectful. They also have customers exit through the emergency door in order to keep their numbers of guests in the store up as we were informed by the salesperson Lexus. Numbers should not be so important that you are chasing guests down to have them exit through an emergency door exit.
What a great experience I have had the past two days at Ashley Furniture in Lake Charles. Jacey took her time explaining everything , making sure we got the best possible price! The store was busy both days we went, but she made sure we felt comfortable and not rushed. It was a no pressure, “let me see what I can do for you” kind of sale! It was so seamless the first day, I went back the next day and bought 4 more items that I had on my wish list!Jacey was determined to get us the best deal she possibly could and maximized our purchase down to the penny! We also got the insurance for peace of mind, a lot can happen in 5 years! I wish there was a “Jacey” at the car lot or DMV! Yikes! Jacey you made me and my family feel so welcome and made us repeat customers! Thank you for the time you took with us, it was a pleasant experience!

They weren't very accommodating during the purchase and delivery of the sofa. When I called, the sales associate was very rude, and did not warn me about "all sales are final." So if there is an issue with the furniture you are purchasing, they will NOT refund you.

Delivery service and communication are terrible. It has been over a week since purchase and still no product. Delivery was initially scheduled for Saturday. I told the sales person to make a note in the system that I would be unreachable between 3-5pm that day. What do you know I get a text saying delivery scheduled for that very time. I respond NO and automated reply says that someone will be contacting me shortly to reschedule. 4 days later and still no one had contacted me so I had to call only to get an automated system with which I was able to reschedule for the following Tuesday. Received text alert that delivery was scheduled for 12-3pm. It is now past 6pm and no delivery.
I had a wonderful experience today. Two people helped me. I wasn’t sure if I could afford the furniture I needed but they helped me to take advantage of the sale and finance opportunities. So it fit in my budget. One big problem is I gave them the wrong address for delivery. I need to get in touch with delivery service before July 17. How do I do that? Do I have to go back to the store or can I change the address over the phone?
Guy was so great to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful. I can't wait to get my new mattress in. Normally it's a painful experience to spend money, but I'm rather happy thinking of the health benefits I'll receive from getting better sleep.

We went to Ashley just to look at sectional sofas, without indenting to purchase at that time. Well we walked I. And meet with Jacey, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the inventory. We found a sectional we really liked. At this point Jacey worked with us and got the best price available. We walked out with a complete living room set and very please with the experience.
i was charged for a 250.00 matress pad that I asked the salesperson to take off. I also called the customer service number and asked them to remove this item. i have tried to contact the store manager and no return call. There is a lack of customer service. Delivery was not done when it was scheduled and when they did deliver the headboard and footboard did not match.

Jacey, was very kind and we enjoyed working with her overall. There were some issues while purchasing in store, but it wasn’t a huge deal, however, we were told our couch would be delivered the following Wednesday. Fast forward and the couch was NEVER scheduled for delivery. I had to call customer service to learn this and then schedule for the delivery. Once learning the delivery was never set I made several calls to the store to speak to a manager and we have yet to hear anything back (2 weeks later). We had all intentions to make future purchases but we will no longer give this location our business. This was a complete lack of competency and unprofessional. We spent thousands of dollars and they can’t even return a phone call. POOR BUSINESS!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SOLD ON THE WRONG PRODUCT WITH NO RECOURSE AND LIED TO ABOUT FINANCING. We have done business with Ashley for years and never experienced anything like this. They sold us our last set of split king Twin XL so you would think they know their product. When only replacing one of the mattresses (two twins make up our king) and stressing height had to be the same, turned out it was 2" lower than the other twin (hard to have a king set up with one dipping 2"). Despite being told it was a worry free purchase, had 90 days to see if you like it, turns out you can only UPGRADE and it still wouldn't match height. No returns (told by the manager I should have read the fine print on page 4). You can get the same mattress elsewhere and can return if needed. They lied about warranty only being covered if they sold their double priced mattress covers that Tempurpedic actuallly sells but doesn't require (spoke to the company themselves; you can return to Tempurpedic if going through them btw). Ashley sells you on a zero percent "installment plan" which consists of them opening a credit card in your name that can easily become a 29% interest if you don't do the math correctly. The corporate office denied they sent me a credit card that I did not want but then reversed that when I read off the terms. Their story then changed to that is how Ashley now does business. It is a bait and switch, clearly false advertising. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and checking with the state on the legality of what they have done. I could have paid for the mattress up front, but chose an installment plan. Now I have the extra headache of paying off and closing their joke of a card which will hit my perfect credit score. They should have disclosed the info they were taking was for a credit card, not an installment loan. First time in 40 years of shopping that I was duped. Ashley lost all future business from us which includes upcoming sales for two rooms in our home. I should add the first time we walked in the store, we walked around for 30 minutes and not once did we see anyone other than sales people visiting in one spot. That should have been our clue not to go back, this store has lost their customer service. On that note, we waited all day for a delivery that didn't come until 4 days later, no notification. As I said, wouldn't recommend them for ANY purchase.

Very poor customer service. Manager on duty charged higher price than on tag. When asked why, she corrected with no explanation or apology. I payed with a check. The process took 45 minutes to complete. Again, no apology for the inconvenience. I had to initial and sign 8 papers and I was simply buying a mirror. It seemed neither I nor my purchase were important to her. I was dissatisfied with her lack of common courtesy. I will not be shopping at Ashley Lake Charles again.

Zero stars and update! Make sure you ask upfront how much delivery is going to cost! They pulled a fast one on my husband. They reduced the price but increased the delivery fee. One chest of drawers. The delivery fee was $159.99. 17% of the cost of the piece to deliver less than 5 miles. Ridiculous! I was home for the rest of the furniture delivery. The delivery team was very lacking. They were in a hurry and scratched the front top of the dresser. They covered it with some spray that still permeates the room months later. I didn’t pick this furniture set. I wasn’t impressed with the selection

This has absolutely been the worst buying experience in my 30 years of being on this planet. We purchased a sectional on 11/28/2022 the wrong color sectional shows up on 12/14, a week later the ottoman showed and was the correct color. Called immediately on the 14th and was told it would be picked up and the correct color would be delivered. A couple weeks pass by and I call and they say they’re we’re holding the couch till the ottoman could be delivered at the same time. I told them I already had the correct ottoman, and they told me they would go ahead and push the sectional to be delivered. A couple more weeks pass and don’t hear anything. I call again and they’re trying to decided at this point who’s fault it was. The home store or the warehouse. And that until then it could not be delivered. Finally they make their mind up and tell me the “Re-selection” was approved. But now the sectional is on back order. I’m okay with waiting on what we ordered at this point. Called after a week for an update and there is no ETA on the color we originally ordered. I ask for a refund and to reverse the whole transaction and for the sectional to be picked up since they can’t seem to get me what we ordered. They seemed to think they could do this even though they repeatedly tell me “refunds aren’t in their policy” for the re-selection get cancel in place for the refund. Then call to check status and now they of course can’t do a refund. Call multiple time since then to speak to the home store and I can’t ever get a phone call back. Here we are 04/07/2023 and still nothing. Still the wrong couch. Still no answer from Ashley home store. What are y’all going to do for me in this situation?? I just, at the very least, want what I ordered and what I’m still paying for! I don’t understand what I’ve done wrong in this situation be to treated this poorly as a customer. This will absolutely be the last time I ever purchase anything from Ashley Furniture.

Order 13,000 in furniture given a delivery date they cut my order in half and changed delivery date without telling me promised all would be delivered on second date they lied again been 5 weeks still waiting on base of king bed can't get answered on when it will be delivered on the high sight of things the delivery guy was great bad communication between store and distributors center

This is the worst furniture store I have ever in my entire life have dealt with. The employees are rude they either act like they don't know anything or they really don't. Customer service over the phone is worse!!! I will not buy from this company ever again. I wish I knew before we made purchases before hand. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! They are awful!! We are very happy with our shopping experience at Ashley. The prices were reasonable and the selection is wide. We found everything we needed for our new home. The staff, such as Mr. Nolan and Ms. Emily, were a pleasure to with and they were friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased a sofa, dining set with hitch/bar and two recliners. The most furniture we have purchased in years and we look forward to seeing it all in our home.

I’ve never had a sales manager (Tashyna) lurk and babysit her sales people while with customers. My sales lady Hannah was doing an amazing job showing us all the products and letting us check out all the beds. We were about to buy a new bed and bedroom set not now. Tayshya was also giving us dirty looks while we were trying to look at furniture. To bad out sales lady Hannah missed a sale.
My boyfriend and I walked into the store today because we have a longtime friend that works as a sales person at this location. Hannah was very knowledgeable about her sales skills here at Ashley, however there was a manager (Tashana) lurking around us the whole entire time we were browsing the storefront. My boyfriend and I were looking forward to purchasing a new bedroom set and a new mattress, however we got the wrong vibes from this manager and we decided to not buy furniture at this location due to her, not our wonderful saleswoman Hannah! I would not recommend anyone to purchase furniture from this location. There are too many other furniture galleries in the Lake Charles area to have to put up with this.

I purchased a sectional sofa from Ashley and it was delivered on 12/10. It was short 3 pillows and 4 cushions. Delivery driver told me he would have those to me on Tuesday, 12/13. I never heard from the delivery driver so I called the store. I was told I would have to call customer service in Houston. I spoke to a few people and then was told they could not talk to me because I was rude. I called Ashley in Lafayette as I have dealt with them on another purchase and they emailed customer service and ordered the missing pieces. Ashley in Lafayette is very helpful, unlike Ashley in Lake Charles. If you purchase from Ashley in Lake Charles, be sure your order is delivered complete so you will not go through what I am going through
This was our 2nd experience purchasing with Ashley Furniture and it definitely was our best. First time was approximately 7years ago and we were less than impressed. Apparently some changes have been made because it was a completely different store in my opinion. Our salesman, Gilbert, is a very talented person. He took time getting to know us and was extremely friendly. I never got the feeling we were being pressured into purchasing anything, which made our experience even better. I highly recommend you go in and give them a shot. Gilbert you exceeded our expectations an I hope you stay here in Lake Charles. As for the rest of the staff, I can tell you they were all very friendly and welcoming. I would not hesitate returning for our next purchase. Absolutely no professionalism and lack of motivation to help make things right. I had a scheduled delivery date of the 22nd and made no work appointments because it. This was already about 9 days after I had bought my furniture. They were supposed to call on the 21st to let me know they were still coming the next day but no one called. I went to the store on the 22nd and the only thing the manager said was sorry it was pushed back. No one bothered to call to say it was rescheduled, no one bothered to call and ask if the 25th would work for me, they just decided that’s what worked for them with no care of the customers needs. Manager was no help whatsoever and didn’t even attempt to make things right and didn’t even attempt to help. Told me just call delivery. Well I called delivery and they just hung up on me. Wouldn’t have been that hard to say let’s call delivery together to see if anything can be done. Even if it couldn’t it’s the attempt to try and help or show they care that matters. I never leave reviews for anything but this place is so terrible I’d like to help people avoid having to deal with one of the worst stores I’ve ever dealt with. If you want your furniture in a timely manner or looking for a store that will make things right when they mess up then this is not the store for you. Someone should really look into the type of people running this place both in sales and delivery. Changes should be made.

Bought a couch that took 6 weeks, supposed to be 4 weeks. When arrived was to short for spot. Called same day and asked for a refund and return. They said come in and see what they have. Found one bought it off showroom floor and was supposed to get a pickup for the first one. Never happened. They cancelled the original return order and our $500 on the first one. DON'T BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS. Go to Facebook Marketplace. After reading reviews I didn't understand why Ashley doesn't try to rectify more problems. But understanding Corporate dealings Ashley would rather indulge in the Greed and Corruption rather than fix some of the little problems . So GO AHEAD AND GET ALL TOU CAN WHILE YOU CAN.

Actually, it took the Ashley in Lake Charles to contact Ashley in Katy, Texas to get my refund from the order I had already paid for that was never delivered. Nonetheless, this particular Ashley in Lake Charles was very friendly and professional.

I just got a threatening text from Ashleys. This is so unprofessional and disturbing. I will never buy from this company ever again. If I could give them a zero I would. It's been over two months and they keep pushing it off. The sales manager put in a er ticket saying if my purchase was not delivered this time that they would be loosing my business. 8 weeks later, a nasty email later and they finally want to get it to me. Don't bother with them. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This store is a joke to deal with. Going on 5 months now and I'm still dealing with these people.

We went and picked out a couch and table on may 21st 2022 before we even signed anything I asked multiple times is it in stock and how long will delivery be, because we didn’t want to wait months for furniture. Our sales lady said it would be delivered June 11th well low and behold it got pushed back month after month our date has been push so last week we finally got the call that it would be delivered tomorrow 8/17 so I called today to confirm the time because no one ever called to confirm and they told me my order was delivered on 8/12 we didn’t get it so obviously that was a mistake and so they said they would get that fixed and call me back with an update no one called so again I called back and they canceled my order and replaced it and now they are saying it won’t be delivered until OCTOBER. 0/10 would not recommend (the sales people are nice but the delivery and customer service reps are absolute trash even the delivery/ customer service corporate manager we spoke to was rude, unhelpful and just told us to cancel my order)

Such a nightmare working with Ashley Furniture. In store, the process was easy to purchase, cash upfront on a over $7000 order. We were told ALL items were in stock except 1 bookshelf, hence why we chose those pieces, because they were in stock. All furniture except said bookshelf will arrive mid July. Bookshelf will arrive mid August per the sales person taking our order. So we went through with the purchase under the impression we would have our furniture in a few weeks except one piece. What a lie!!! Its now been almost 2 months and the main, large, more expensive pieces keep getting pushed back (oversized sectional and dining table set). The items we were told were IN STOCK! No communication from Ashleys what so ever. We have to keep calling to find out the status of our furniture order. Noone tells us anything except “its now expected later” when we call. Our sales rep had no issue completing a transaction paid in full upfront, but the entire business fails to update their customers about the status of their FULLY paid order. It’s frustrating and has been a nightmare. We were lied to by our sales rep, we were told all our pieces were in stock. For the past two months all we have been told is “its on backorder.” Once we get our furniture, if we ever do at this point, I will never purchase from Ashley’s again. It has been such a nightmare. Never have I had this issue with any other furniture company. I knew I should have just went with Rooms to go. This has been the worst business transaction I have ever made.
I visited three local furniture stores searching for living room pieces, and Ashley had the best selection and the best price. Travis Istre was very friendly and helpful, but not pushy, and he provided correct information and helped me obtain the best price. Ashley also had the shortest lead time for ordering and receiving the new furniture. At a time when many stores cannot get new merchandise for several months, Ashley can deliver the new pieces in three weeks. I have shopped Ashley in the past and will continue to look there first when I need new furniture.

We have waited since January 2022 for our bedroom furniture. They delivered the wrong bed and the dresser was broken. Today the two men delivered the new dresser. Was very helpful moving furniture around. Today was a good experience but jumping through hoops to receive the furniture was difficult. Still waiting for the bed. Hopefully by the end of this month.
I paid for a bed OVER A YEAR AGO . I received half of it and still not the rest of it. I have have talked to at least 10 different people and my husband actually drive to the store last week. We keep demanding our money back and them to come pick up the useless pieces we have. We were told it would be picked up today and a refund given. Delivery guys showed up only wanting to pick up SOME of the bed and not the rest. At this point, it is theft. They have had my money over a year and I have no bed. Can’t say much good about it honestly. Kitchen table was in stock and got it promptly. Entertainment center and sofa table was about 8 months late. Called the store and Ashley furniture automated system I don’t know how many times. They even admitted it was ridiculous in March and offered me a 100 dollar refund. To put it into perspective, I ordered my furniture last September 2021. Was quoted a delivery date in November 2021, and just now received my furniture. It’s July 3rd 2022. Hope this helps anyone who’s considering going with Ashley Furniture

This organization is so out of sorts its almost laughable. Moved across country over a month ago and needed a bedroom set and bed. Picked furniture that wasn't my first choice because I was promised it would arrive in a week. Had to call myself to find out the order was delayed and after 3 store visits and at lease 8 or 9 phone calls with "customer service", I am still sleeping on my couch 4 weeks later. In the past 24 hours I've been "confirmed" on 3 different delivery dates so who knows when it will actually show up. If they're not lying to you they're probably blaming someone else or telling you to go into the store to talk to someone. I'm not sure how a nationwide company can operate with such disregard for their clients. Avoid this store like the plague. For your own sanity avoid at all costs.

THE absolute worse place to buy furniture. I ordered TWO tables from them in August of 2021. One table was delivered with all the pieces, the other had everything except the TABLE LEGS. I have now been trying since NOVEMBER 2021 to get legs for my table. I have gotten the run-around multiple times across every department. FINALLY thought I was getting the legs delivered, but NO, ONLY ONE TABLE LEG SHOWED UP!! I paid almost $2,000 cash for this table and have not been able to use it. When I say I'm bringing it back to return, I'm told they don't accept returns at the store. ABSOLUTE WORSE SERVICE EVER!! The last employee I talked to who is supposedly a "manager" told me "well I didn't do it" when I was explaining my frustration!! If you can shop some where else I would!!
Update!!!!! PLEASE BE AWARE before you purchase from them!!! As I see on many other reviews, this place is a joke! If during the sale the chance of never getting your furniture was mentioned, I would have never purchased! Also, I was told to apply for financing which would be an interest free loan and wouldn’t take into affect until after the furniture is received. They applied for multiple, 4 to be exact, credit cards in my name and charged the card for part of my furniture while I am still waiting on the rest(2 of 3). They have given us the run around over and over again. Today, 12 weeks later, we were promised a delivery, which I confirmed by phone, text, and email. 3 hours before said delivery time I received a call that not one but both pieces of furniture are ruined, can’t be delivered and are on back order. So now we are back to waiting. I agreed to wait 4-6 weeks not 12 plus! This is sad! Entire staff was friendly and welcoming. We were so indecisive and literally spent hours there. The salesperson was patient and helpful the entire time.

I'm back to say that my furniture was delivered damaged ( hole in back of sofa and nail sticking out of chase). They have tried to exchange it two times but brought the wrong piece. We request a supervisor to talk to and never get one . The text feature is someone different each time and they do not read previous texts. This company is the most unorganized I have ever encountered. Who is running this joke? I ordered this furniture in November and it is March and things are still not straight. I will never use them again or recommend. And ASHLEY FURNITURE - don't reply for me to call or text - it doesn't work. It's your turn to have management call me with a solution! disgusted

Highly do not recommend buying from Ashley Furniture. Bought a sofa back in September that was supposed to be originally delivered in November. Well here it is February and still no couch and the order just keeps getting pushed back. To cancel an order they can’t seem to deliver in a timely manner or even know where it is at you have to pay a 10% cancellation fee! By reading the other comments I am sure I will have issues getting my money back as well!

My husband and I bought a sectional back in November 2021 from this location, we were told it would only take 3 to four weeks for delivery, I just wish the salesperson would have explained the possible delays before I placed my order. It’s ridiculous that after almost 4 months I’m still waiting and don’t even have a delivery date. At this point they shouldn’t be charging clients hundreds of dollars for delivery. And yes we know COVID slowed many deliveries during the last year, but the fact that the salesperson never mentioned that it would take at least 4 months for delivery it’s outrageous
I ordered furniture in July. I was told 8-12 weeks. Each time I called the number, the message put my delivery off a few more weeks. In January, the message said 450 months! I finally talked to a human, and they are no longer making the couch I ordered. It seems like someone should have called and told me that! I went in the store Jan. 3rd to cancel, as I don’t want mismatched furniture. I was told it would be put in cancellation status and refunded in 72 hours. After 7 days, I called and was told the cancellation wasn’t put in until Jan. 7th, and that the refund would be 7-10 business days. Here we are on Jan. 24th, and I still don’t have my furniture or my refund. Also, after I cancelled my order a “manager” called me and basically accused me of lying. She says they were still making that couch. I let her know the phone rep and the store rep said they weren’t, and she wanted to know who I talked to, because she couldn’t believe I was told that. I didn’t write down names! It’s not my job to make sure your people know what they’re talking about. She then said a gm would be calling me to put in the final cancellation. He never called. These people need to get their crap together. They are losing customers left and right.
I bought furniture in early December, was told 4 weeks for delivery. The salesperson basically lied to us to get the sale. Did not tell us majority of the stuff we ordered is on back order. Still waiting!!! Asked for a refund and they said they will charge a 10% restocking fee. Smh!!!! How you gonna charge me to restock something that’s not in stock. Anyway, I won’t ever buy from Ashley again. They are liars!!! Still without out sofa, 2 chairs, dresser and nightstand.

Friend staff. However (and i know everything is on back order) but am told each week My furniture will be delivered. Then when I call it’s constantly pushed back. You shouldn’t have furniture on the show room it is it gonna be available for another 8 months.
Worse than a used car lot. Absolutely no customer service after purchase. Lies, lies and lies is all you will receive. Almost $900 in warranty/ insurance that's useless. Store never calls back, ignores emails and flat out lies. Avoid this store at all costs, shop local with a family locally owned furniture store. They actually value your business and want repeat business.

Very disappointed with our experience with Ashley. We have been waiting on a parts order for over 2 months because the bunk bed did not come with a hardware kit. My daughter will now not have a bed this weekend when I go to pick her up for her Christmas break. This is the most recent incident. We ordered all of our house furniture in one shot with Ashley and we were made promises that were not kept. Overall it has been nothing less than a fight the entire way. All this on top of dealing with a hurricane insurance claim and dealing with contractors to get our home together so we could enjoy our new furniture. We will not be doing business with Ashley furniture ever again because of this experience. All we were told the entire time was “we just fell through the cracks”. I’m sorry but this response doesn’t get me the furniture I ordered in June. There should be no excuse for that long of a wait regardless of the circumstances. This company had 6 months to get our furniture together and delivered. We are also still waiting on delivery fees to be reimbursed as promised on orders that had to be reordered. Yet again this is the worst customer experience I have ever encountered.
Ordered mattress and frame in sept and now in dec and still don’t have it. Was told on 2 occasions that it was shipped but didn’t arrive.
Worst store ever the salesperson that held me told us told us to 2 to 3 weeks It's already been 4 months and I'm still sleeping on the floor waiting for my furniture. They have call me to confirm delivery and they never come they cancel same day the delivery is and they don't even call to let you know. I spent around $11, 000 and then when you want to cancel they want to charge you a 10% and you don't even have the furniture in stock that doesn't even make any sense. I wouldn't recommend to buy at the store ever.

Purchased a couple of furniture pieces today. My sales lady was Shannon. She was excellent. I told her Exactly what I was looking for. It’s such a large store and it’s a little difficult for me to get around. She took her iPad and went and took pictures of the items that matched my requests. I picked what I wanted and walked to the sections that had these items. My experience with her was easy and enjoyable. The store manager visited with me several times also checking to make sure that I was satisfied and that Shannon was able to help me. I would definitely recommend Ashley Furniture store and ask for Shannon you will not be disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley Home Store. Loved the show room. The sales associates were amazing. They have the biggest selection of furniture than any other furniture store in Lake Charles, trust me I went to every single one of them. I definitely recommend checking them out if ur looking into making a purchase. Edit* After having this sectional for only about a month and a half the seat cushions are already flattened down and looks old. The back cushions are still fluffy.

Worst furniture store ever!! Ordered furniture 4 months ago was told 4-6 weeks for it to come in. Now we are being told the couches aren’t even being made anymore and the mattresses won’t be ready for delivery until November 2022. Mind you they texted me a few days ago to set up delivery for said mattresses. Can’t call the store because The number goes to a main office in god only knows where. I will never enter their doors again.
I had a great salesman. I was a little hesitant due to the wait to get our table, bench, and chairs delivered. I went ahead and got the set. It was delivered by two men that ran it into my home and left within 30 seconds. So I opened it immediately and come to find out the corner of the table was damaged and the bench screws won't stay in to hold the cushion on. I called and did everything I needed to right away to get an exchange. My replacement set was to be delivered in 4 weeks, then it got pushed back another 4 weeks and now they say it's on back order and not to be in until February! So I have a table I can not use with a family of 6 and the holidays coming up! DO NOT BUT FROM HERE! You never expect to have a damaged piece of furniture but they will not make this right. Absolutely horrible customer service!

She gave me space to browse while also making sure I could find her easy if I needed because their store is HUGE! Great selection! Edit: Ashley furnisher has gone so down hill. I spent $4k on a sectional and two years later it's falling apart. Made a claim over a month ago to fix it and no one called me back or scheduled a time to come see my broken expensive couch. Customer service is also garbage.

Worst experience !! Lied to several times. I lost my home in August of last year like many people here. I trusted this company to refurnish my home, I ordered in may. I we are currently still sitting on lounge chairs. Every time I call I’m given a different date of delivery. They refuse to give me my money back. I spent a lot of money that me and my husband work hard for. I we have been told 9 different delivery dates!! They took advantage of us and I am really upset.
Sales not pushy quick service
We purchased a bedroom set that we were told would be in by a certain date. The date was a little father away than we would have liked, but we understood and we really wanted the set. After purchasing, the delivery date kept getting pushed further and further back. We still don't have our bedroom set, and now we're told it's currently out of stock or on back order and there's no expected date of arrival in the system. I understand things being behind, but we feel they knew that in advance when they sold it to us. Now we're on the hook because we already paid and left to deal with the consequences. We kind of feel manipulated.

I bought a recliner in September and they said it was in stock but it would take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery and last week I got a call to schedule a delivery day for November 17th and now I just a call and now they can't deliver it until December 1st!!!

I am ABSOLUTELY disgusted by the service and the poor delivery system. I ordered about 10K in furniture and I was only delivered a mattress. Now I have received a bill. The mattress is against the wall with the plastic on it. I have been hung up on by customer care. Lied to by in store management and all around treated like the plague. I am not paying for a mattress that I can't even use. This is the worst store ever. Do not use. I implore you. If in lake Charles use Howell, Home furniture or anywhere else. It is not worth the headache. No resolution seems forthcoming. I always said when I stopped travel nursing and bought a house i wanted Ashley furniture. Little did I know. It is not worth the hype. Extremely poor customer satisfaction. I don't normally post this kind of thing. But this has me too perplexed and totally dissatisfied.

Went to several furniture stores the past couple of weeks and really liked that they had furniture you could pick from on the showroom, and get in a timely manner.
Big place with lots of selections. Price a bit steep but staff is of course very friendly and helpful. We are now been waiting for our furniture for at least August and still hasnt arrived. CS says its gonna be another 2-4 weeks and 3 weeks ago it said 2 weeks until the delivery schedule is known. I also believe our purchase receipt isnt in our email and the info CS stated is incorrect. Im now disappointed. I sure wouldnt want the delivery to finally come around with the special order being wrong.
Purchased furniture in May - The order comes in on July 21st - completely wrong except for the bed and nightstand - I was delivered the wrong chest of drawers, a box spring that I didn’t order and the order was missing a night stand. I went up there the same day and asked for it to be reviewed. They stated it would be fixed. Today, I get a notification that my furniture is ready to be delivered only to call and it’s the same order as before (all wrong). I go back up to the store only to find out the order was never fixed and the furniture I originally ordered was never put into the system. The only helpful associate was the sweet man at the front desk (I didn’t get a name). Anyway, never again. Came back to say it’s been 6 weeks and my order still hasn’t been corrected. This is with me going up there 5 times since my order was first placed. Eventually they will get tired of seeing me and correct it. I hope 😒

Purchased a power recliner 06/2020 with a 3 week ETA DELIVERY. The wrong recliner was delivered, Two months in and still no delivery. Currently 6 months in and no delivery and NO refund. I paid cash, over $900 and was told I would receive a payment by mail. No refund has been given. Very disappointed in the service of this national chain.
Updated. While Jaime was a great sales person, she is horrible at follow up. Three months later I am still waiting for key pieces, meaning I have head board but no foot board, rails or dresser, and end tables but no cocktail table. No one at the store will call me back. Customer care is a joke as the reception is horrible while speaking, I constantly had to ask for them to repeat themselves, and I have nothing against foreign accents, but even spelling a word took 5 minutes with the poor quality of reception. If I do not get answers soon the entire order is going back. Jaimie was a great sales rep. We were able to get a house full of furniture in 3 hours. 48 months zero financing was a blessing.. Quality, delivery and setup yet to be seen.
The sales person was very nice during my visit however everything after that has been a mess. They completely lied to me on when my mattress could be delivered and now I will be sleeping on the floor for a few nights. Wish I went to another store somewhere else. I called into the store this week and now they are telling me it won't come in till several days after the day I need. The person on the phone couldn't help me so they took my info down for a manager to call back but the manager has not called me still.

We have been to several furniture stores looking for a reclining sectional sofa. Today, we went to Ashley Home and had the best experience with our sales person, Travis. We appreciate the laid back, non-pushy approach. He gave us our space to browse but stayed close enough, ready to answer our questions without being aggressive the way so many sales people tend to be. We were happy to see that we got a %20 discount on our purchase today due to a Black Friday in July sale. We found exactly what we wanted and our sectional sofa should be delivered in about 2 weeks. We'll definitely start at Ashley for our other upcoming furniture purchases.

I don’t understand why the pricing is different online than in store. I especially dislike that I saved things I liked and couldn’t get the site to work in store and found the in store pricing to be quite different. My biggest issue was the manager offering to honor the other pricing with interest free financing going from 60 months to 6 months. Needless to say order cancelled. Willing to take the 10% hit when pricing difference more than doubled the penalty. Changed my order to online

After showing them what couch I wanted from the Ashley’s mobile app, I was told they couldn’t order it so I picked out something else. The girl was new and I didn’t know but the young man helping her had only worked there two months. They ran my credit through all loan companies they have and I only used one. Now one week later I’m getting calls from the other companies saying I have an open line of credit with them from Ashley’s. I called to talk to a manager and cancel my order but have been told the manager was in a meeting for the past hour. I’d I cancel it’s a 10% fee which would be almost $600. I will NEVER use Ashley’s Home store in Lake Charles EVER again and would NEVER recommend this store in Lake Charles! Have never had this issue with Ashley’s before and I can tell it’s due to employees not being trained properly. Never again!

My husband and I had a GREAT first time experience shopping @ our local Ashley Furniture store here in Lake Charles! We took advantage of the awesome holiday sale they were having for Memorial Day! Our sales associate was kind, friendly and very helpful! She explained everything to us very clearly, listed our options out to us about delivery, pick up, holding items, etc. She also reviewed our order with us a couple of times to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted! My husband and I were very pleased with our first visit here and hope to be back very soon in the future!

Highly disappointed with service is the understatement of the century. Spent over $15,000.00 and cannot get ONE straight story about delivery. Items piece milled together and VERY VERY LATE!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Was trying to reschedule delivery and in that time SEVENTEEN calls to my personal cell phone and ELEVEN automated calls to my employer. After delivery was confirmed (screenshot to prove) it was still postponed by Ashley. I can promise you EVERY person I come into contact with will KNOW of my experience and I will let EVERY person I know to buy from anywhere else BUT Ashley Furniture. It's a crying shame Hurricane Laura victims are being treated like this after LOSING EVERYTHING. It is pathetic and I promise I will sleep on the floor before one more penny is ever spent at Ashley. The only good part of this experience was the sales person when ordering the furniture but hey they were making one hell of a sale. Who cares about the customer after the fact!!!! Absolutely ridiculous!
I ordered furniture on Sept 26th 2020. Was told it would be delivered on Oct 14th then that was changed to Oct 21 2020 with a guarantee that everything would be delivered that day . I took the day off work to be there when they delivered it . I waited and waited finally called the Lafayette store to see when they were gonna be there ? I was told my furniture wasn't going to be delivered that day and when I asked why they could not give me an answer. It escalated from there !!!! They finally admitted that they didn't even know where my furniture was at that point. They didn't even apologize or have any kind of concern at all about their incompetence. I canceled my order and was told I would receive my refund check within 7-10 business days. They owe me over $15,000.00 !!!!! It's Nov 13th and I still have not received my check and I've called about 6 different phone #'s trying to get some answers to where my money is ? Every single person I talked to told me they couldn't help me to call another #. A virtual agent finally told me my check was cut on Nov 6th but will take up to 4 weeks before I get it. I'm probably going to have to take legal action. If you were a victim of Hurricane Laura like I was and lost your furniture PLEASE DO NOT walk into a Ashley Furniture store !!!!! You will become a victim there too. They made a horrible situation way worse. Howell Furniture and Home Furniture is where you want to go if you want your furniture this year and excellent customer service.
My husband and I purchased a large, expensive sectional back in early MAY of 2020 during a sale promo for Veterans, which my husband is. We were told 2-4 weeks for delivery which we were okay with at the time. Two days before our scheduled delivery date Ashley calls and tells us all of the couch isn’t ready but they can deliver the pieces that are... I said no thank you I can’t use 1/3 of a couch, I will wait for it all. At this point they push the delivery back to the end of July. July rolls around and they call again, two day before our delivery date, and push it back to August. Same go around in August pushed back to September. This time in September they called and pushed it back to the end of November. I understand covid, but it’s been about half a year now and I still do not have my very expensive sectional I ordered. Called customer service to wait on hold for over an hour to get HUNG UP ON MID SENTENCE. It was not a transfer error the woman and I had been talking and I guess she didn’t enjoy my dislike in waiting over 5 months for something we were told 2-4 weeks for. Called customer service again and was rudely told “if ya don’t wantta wait, cancel da order is all I can tell ya”. I said okay please do that, and she said “I ain’t do that I only schedule delivery’s, call a different number” and hung up on me again. Customer service piss poor. Customer satisfied- definitely not. I also emailed the same day (4 weeks ago) I spoke to customer service and was hung up on by customer service, and still have yet to receive an email back. If you want furniture, not just a bill for one, don’t order from Ashley. If you like waiting many months, being hung up on, rudely spoken too, and questions dismissed with improper rude English- then this is the store for you.
We ordered furniture in June which was easy come to delivery its a joke. How many times can 1 couch be remade or on back order. Tired of getting the phone call to tell me my couch is being made and on back order. They even sent me a text where I can track it and the lady just told me that my couch wasn't in Houston like it said.
We bought furniture in June here it is September and they've delivered lamps. One day they say they are being delivered the next day someone tells my wife it's on back order. So tired of dealing with not having furniture that's been payed for. Do not recommend this place to anyone.
This place is a joke. They are selling furniture they do not have. I bought couches from them in May and have yet to get them. I keep getting delivery dates that come and go but no furniture. Customer service is non- existing. Its funny to them, actually had a lady laugh and said did you want to just cancel your order. Never doing business with them again.

If I could I wouldn’t even give them a star. We ordered furniture in April and still have not received a thing. It’s been 17 weeks!!!!Promise after promise and lie after lie! I don’t know how they are still functioning. Oh yes And I’m sure everyone’s heard of the excuse called COVID. Well it’s getting old. The fact is the whole world is going through COVID, but at least with the other furniture store I’ve dealt with, they have been straight up and honest about the delays. Most importantly they have contacted us with any changes, unlike Ashley whom don’t answer their phones and now the store is shut?? If I could tell everyone about this store, I would run.
Do not use!!! They will lie to you about your shipping date then send you this BOT generated message "Please email us at feedback@dsghome.com with as much of the information on your order as possible (name, phone number, order number, store location) so we can get this addressed ASAP." Then guess what, you'll be connected to another BOT 😂..Ordered in July and we're still waiting. They were suppose to ship last week turns out they FORGOT to call and tell us they changed the date! It's pretty comical how little they care about their customers.
Beware!! Went in to store met a very friendly and helpful sales associate. Spent $4000 and was told my furniture would be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. After 2 weeks with no communication of delivery I called the main office. Was told that the delivery date was incorrect and that my furniture would not be in for 13 to 15 weeks. Meanwhile I have no furniture in my home. Holidays will be coming soon and no where to put my family when they come down. I feel lied to and disappointed a business can do this to anyone.
I bought my furniture back in July at the store located in Lake Charles, La. I paid $1,800 in cash for the furniture and timely delivery. I was told on August 5th I would receive it on August 13th and I would get a phone call 48hrs in advance. Fast forward to August 12th and I realized I had not gotten the courtesy call. I call and they tell me my date had been moved and someone forgot to call. So I was given the option to choose ANOTHER date and I chose August 20th. Here is is August 19 and they have changed my delivery date AGAIN without informing me! My date has changed (UNKNOWINGLY) 3 different times AFTER confirming that the previous dates I chose were available. This is my first and LAST time shopping with Ashley!!!! Now I have no living room furniture because I removed my old furniture based on the original delivery date I was given. I’m definitely not even a guy to be upset about things like this, but I gave y’all over $1,800 in cash a month ago with expectations that I would already have my furniture, but that isn’t the case. Never again!!!!!

This has been the absoulte WORSE experience we have ever had. there is excuse after excuse with these people! it has been almost 4 MONTHS since we ordered a bunk bed, each month is a new excuse on why the date needs to be pushed back ect ect. to me, their job isnt hard. get it together!!
My friend went to Ashley furniture and got a couch. They gave them the wrong couch that was more expensive. Well they gave them only party of the couch. They have been waiting 3 month for the other half of there couch and just get promises they’ll get it soon. They are the worst furniture company I’ve ever seen. They have no pride in there work. Only care about the sale and not the customer.

I have the worst time with this company, shipping the wrong items WHEN YOU CAN GET IT, I have order order other item in May and still haven't received anything but dates with no delivery, They keep you on hold and then hang up, DO NOT ORDER NOTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
We ordered a couch and ottoman totaling over 3k in sales in April. Was told the longest delivery would be was 3 weeks, so the sales associate put the delivery date for 3 weeks out. 2 days before the scheduled delivery I get a text stating the items wouldn’t be delivered until AUGUST 27! So we waited three weeks, to be told it’ll be three months. Now about a week out from the 8/27 date I get another text stating the delivery will have to be later then SEPTEMBER 30th! I called and asked “what can you do for me?” and was told and I quote from customer service “it’s just something you’re going to have to deal with, or you can cancel the order”. This is beyond frustrating to have to wait OVER 4.5 months for a couch. I’ll update in September if delivery is pushed back AGAIN! At that point I will cancel my order and take my thousands elsewhere.
My wife and I went to Ashley Furniture in Lake Charles shopping for a recliner for myself. We were met by salesman Uzair Abbasi who was very knowledgeable and helpful in our selection of a recliner. No pressure, no hovering over us and gave us an opportunity to talk in private and make our decision. The price was very acceptable. I would strongly recommend you go visit Uzair at Ashley Furniture and you will not be disappointed.
Martha, our sales person was very helpful and patient with us. She was willing to take the time to help us find the best choice for us, financially and space wise! If you go to the LC location, ask for Martha Woods! She was great to work with!
Horrible!!!! Can’t stress that enough! We ordered our furniture 3 months ago. Delivery date has changed yet again! We bought furniture at Home Furniture & Bedding at the same time and had it delivered within 2 wks. I wish I would have liked Home Furniture & Bedding living room furniture and saved ourselves the headache of having to deal with Ashley. Never again! Would not recommend buying from Ashley. They will take your money and give you the run around. Sales store on Highway 14 will tell you to call corporate. Then call corporate and they tell you it’s out of their hands to call the sales store. Stop selling furniture! It’s that simple. If you don’t have it! Don’t sell it! Stop taking people’s money!

I would recommend shopping here. Sales reps were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They were able to help me find everything I needed to replace my living furniture for what was in my price range along with a 0% financing. Only reason for the 4 star and not 5 stars is for the long period of having to waiting on everything to arrive which may have to do with the pandemic still going on. But overall I will visit here again in the future when I need more furniture my home.
They had exactly what I was looking for on the showroom floor. It was scheduled and delivered in less than two weeks. I like to be able to feel the materials and sit on the furniture before buying- and they have hundreds of selections out for just that purpose.

The Lake Charles Store has the worst customer service. We purchased $4300 worth of furniture and was told on May 20,2020, it would take 1-2 weeks. Then we were texted a date of July 1st, then texted saying July 8th. My husband went to this store and was told part of our furniture was gonna be delivered on 7/30/2020 and part on 8/20/20. Wow!!!!! Andrew Adams (salesman) and Stephanie (manager) are TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! Andrew gave us his personal number but doesn’t answer our calls or return calls. The store never answers their phone either! How can you conduct business like this.....you can’t. I will make sure none of my friends or family ever step foot in this store again. If there were negative stars I would give the worst possible!!!!!!!!
I need someone to contact me. I don’t know how else to get through to someone. Every phone number I sit on hold for an hour, every robot “help” online is pointless and I have gotten the runaround with my order that was suppose to be delivered a week ago.
The purchasing was a great experience... then came the delivery... we purchased 3 beds, mattresses, kitchen table and living room furniture with coffee tables...even wall art and lamps...and we were never informed that our products were still in manufacturing and that it could take forever to get our stuff. Here we are, 2 months later and are being told it will be "around" August 1st before our furniture "could" arrive. In the meantime, we've moved into a new house and its completely empty and no one has beds and nothing to sit on. Ive called the store, I've called the warehouse in Houston, and i was told July 1st. Now I get a text message saying it will be even longer. I don't recommend this to anyone. You're better off building your own furniture, it would take less time. 🙄😒

The store manager also came over and assisted with my purchase without being pushy. I love this store because of the staff and environment. This wasn't my 1st purchase and will definitely go back and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great deal but high quality.

Around the 15th of May I order a living room set. The associate told me it would come around the 1st of June. I was fine with that since I was moving around the time. I told him can my furniture be delivered on the he said yes he would put it in. Strike one, Fast forward to the end of May, I received an email from Ashley furniture stating that my furniture would be delivered to my house at the end of May. So, I had to drive to the store tell the associate what the email states and he told me I need to call them and set up that date. Mind you when I was buying the furniture he said he would put the date down. Second strike is when my furniture was delivered and only half was delivered. I never was notified of this information. I was livid I drove to the store and waited. Finally an associate acknowledged me and I told her I needed a manager she told me the manager said call this number. I’m thinking to myself why won’t a manager speak to an unsatisfied guest. I got on the phone and called the number at the store while I waited. The guy who helped me comes up to me and apologized and said we are only doing partial deliveries. Sir, I wasn’t notified of this information because if I was I would’ve went somewhere else. He apologized again and then had the audacity to say please leave a good review. I was speechless and in disbelief. Another associate told me the customer service manager wasn’t there and would be there the next day. Last strike, I called and was on hold for at least 30 minutes finally someone came to the phone. He said all managers can’t come to the phone but I will get them to call you back, I told him that I need a manager to call me ASAP. As of today I haven’t received a call. I wouldn’t recommend Ashley furniture to anyone. The associates are sneaky and deceitful. I receive partial furniture but they didn’t charge me partially delivery fee. I should’ve stayed with Home furniture, I didn’t have any issues last year when I purchased furniture. They were informative, friendly, and gave great customer service . Ashley furniture gets -1 million stars in my book.

The service was fantastic but lack of communtication has left me very irritated. We ordered a couch a week ago under the impression that we would get a call “the next day” about delivery options and times for the couch and was also told 7-10 business days to expect delivery. But as it stands right now we have 3000$ tied up in an AWOL sectional that noone can seem to help me with and it has been 1 WEEK. I have no logins to look at the bill. I have no tracking info or estimated date of delivery. Nothing. And every time i try to call the phone says “we are currently closed.” and when they do answer all i get is “we are backed up” I spent way too much money and time there to have stupid problems like these. If i could get a damn refund to go somewhere else i would.

On the first day of opening back up after Covid-19 Ashley’s made me feel at home. I changed my mind several times and the girls just moved forward with me. They knew about all styles in the store. Even though their masks were on I saw their smiles through their eyes! They helped me pick out items for my new house using my style as a guide. Awesome experience with friendly customer service!
Today I went to Ashley’s here in Lake Charles, Louisiana and I must say INCREDIBLE service! Greeted soon as you walk in and explained the lay out of the store incase you were just browsing. My fiancé and I were luck to go on Memorial Day weekend and actually got a good deal and quote for store credit. Andrew Adams and Marilyn Birge were very good advisers, helping us get what we wanted at a good price.

I purchased a reclining power loveseat that the sales lady knew I was placing in the middle of the room. She told me that it would hold a charge for up to 30 days depending on usage. It does not hold a charge at all! The store is closed and corporate says, it’s already delivered you will have to speak to your local store!!! I am furious! The store manager never even reached out before they closed to say that my delivery would take 4 weeks instead of 2.
If I could give this store negative stars I would! Horrible customer service. I have been waiting on my furniture for almost 5 months now. Was promised 2 weeks when it was bought and it took almost 3 months to get it. The bed and dresser were damaged and i still dont have the replacement parts. They text me to confirm new delivery and shortly after I do the call and state they do not have my pieces. Today they finally came out and didn't bring the foot board and drawers then refused to leave the replacement dresser because they didn't have all the correct parts for the complete replacement . This place is horrible! Buyer beware all they want is your money. They will lie and tell you anything .
The wife and I went looking for a cheap sofa and love seat for a weekend/getaway house that we own - were looking for sale items. Found a sofa and chair . . . sofa was $199 and the chair was like $375. Right then and there I should have stopped what I was doing. We sealed the deal with salesman and agreed on a delivery - 3 weeks on the chair and 1 week on the sofa. Two days before I was to receive the sofa I received an email saying what time someone should be at the house and confirming the address. Next day I receive a phone call from someone from deliveries stating once again sofa would be delivered &"Tomorrow&" and gave me a time slot for arrival . . . very polite lady and I thanked her for calling. Keep in mind this is the night before it is to be delivered. Delivery day arrives and I have my daughter at house waiting with her kids for the delivery of sofa. You guessed it no sofa . . . by 4:00 PM we called to check why no delivery . . . to no avail. I spent all day Saturday trying to speak with someone - started with the individual who sold it to me and he shuffled me off to call delivery. I spoke with someone at store who told me the sofa arrived later in the afternoon on day it was to be delivered but never made it on the truck for delivery. I then called a corporate number and spoke with someone who said sofa never left the warehouse in Tennessee? Conflicting stories, poor management and an &"I just don&'t care&" attitude from everyone I spoke with including the salesman. To make a long story short - Ashley eventually told me I would not get sofa until 2 weeks later and chair one week after that. To there credit I asked for a refund and received it within 2 days. If they would have called and explained what happened I wouldn&'t be writing this but they did not call and when I spoke with someone there was no apology for what happened and no effort on there part to try and make it right.

I would definitely not recommend them. I ordered a couch and not one person in the store could tell me a delivery date including the sales manager. They assured me it would be inside of a week and stated they would document that it needed to be asap in my paperwork. It has now been a week and I just received a text stating I could pick from 3 different dates almost 2 weeks from now. I would have never done business here if I knew it would have taken almost 3 weeks and the customer service has been awful.

I will never go to Ashley HomeStore again. Terrible experience. Just got a new home and was really excited to get new furniture. Well Ashley ruined that for me. The furniture was the worst thing out of the whole ordeal. First they couldn’t sell us a bed set that was discontinued unless we bought all of it so they wanted us to spend a extra $1500 on stuff we didn’t want. Then we finally just decided to get the living room set that was over $6000 and we have had 3 delivery dates and still no furniture. Friday is our 4th delivery date and I bet you we won’t get any furniture. Don’t bother calling because no one cares that after a month of purchasing your furniture, you still don’t have it. Just save yourself the frustration and don’t go. It’s a awful business that doesn’t care about there customers.

We ordered many things from Ashley. A bedroom set consisting of head board, foot board, night stands, and 5 drawer chest; we also got a living room set consisting of a love seat, recliner, and a couch; as well as an entertainment center. When the delivery guys delivered it, he did not know what he was delivering. My battery packs for my chairs were no where to be found so we had to make a special trip to the store to get them. They failed to bring my head board and foot board but were sure to bring the railings. They put together my entertainment center and one guy put it on backwards and after informing him quite a few times about the mess up he got an attitude and finally decided to fix it. They also brought me a broken chair and told me I had to refuse it because it was broke. They loaded the chair back up and then later on said we had to keep it and the delivery guy got an attitude with me when he had to unload it from the truck. When they finished, they just left with no one knowing. I will never use Ashley again, and will be sure not to recommend.

The showroom is nice. Customer service was awful. I left after 15 minutes of shopping alone because no salesperson was interested in my minimal purchase. I walked in asking for a very small breakfast table and stools, two people chatting pointed me to the rear of the store and that's all of the help that I got. Somebody at the finance desk called for help eventually, after I chose a set, but that person never showed. I left. Bummer. I won't be going back.
Uzair was absolutely the man. I went in with an idea of what I wanted and he showed me everything to help me realize that idea. Never once did I feel pressured to try anything or buy anything. Super professional, super nice. I’ll be returning in the future for sure. The whole culture of the staff was very easy going and very friendly, ready to help.

I was looking to buy a replacement futon mattress. The website did show a couple of futon options so I went by to check them out. Once arrived I was greeted by three employees which was nice. Unfortunately no futons or mattress were on site. Apparently it was for online purchase only. Well of course they tried to sell me everything else in the store.

If you are in the market for new furniture Ashley HomeStore would be your first and last stop. Awesome customer service, very helpful and great attitude. And they have everything for all different types of people taste in look, color and comfortableness. Definitely highly recommend them for any furniture needed inside your home
I live about 30 minutes from Ashley Home Store. We ordered some furniture about a week ago. We are currently waiting on it to be delivered. I tried calling the store to confirm the delivery time and date. I was on hold for almost fifteen minutes when someone answered only to hang up on me. This happened, not once,but twice. I tried reaching out to the facebook page and was met with the same degree of nonchalance. Ashely is quick to greet you when you walk in the door, but good luck getting in touch with them after you have made a purchase. They want to secure a sale and then make you go through their robo call "i don't care about the customer" nonsense. How do impersonal places like this even stay in business? Edited. Overall good experience. The only complaint is hard to get in touch via phone. However, love the couches, the protection plan, and delivery went smoothly. Also, management reached out after I complained about phone issues.
People in the store were very helpful and friendly but My good experience stop there. Ashley‘s logistics needs some serious help. I am still waiting for them to come repair a Bed that the delivery guy broke. This all started in November 6, 2019 and today is January 17, 2020. We’ve called customer service, they were extremely rude and one girl hung up on us twice. We have been patient and we’ve remain cordial and they are still rude to us.
I am extremely upset with this store. I purchased a recliner mid December as a gift. At the time of the transaction, I was told the price, paid for it, and delivery was scheduled for January 8. Now here are my issues... at the time of purchase, I was told a price to pay. I was not informed up front that there was a $139 delivery fee. Had I been told that upfront, I would have declined the delivery as we have a truck and trailer. My other issue is that a few days before January 8, I received a call that the delivery was delayed and will be rescheduled for January 16. I wasn't very happy about this but things happen. Now, on January 15, I receive another call that my delivery will yet again be delayed for another two weeks. When I called the customer service line, I was told that the computer is saying it will be delivered on the 25th but it is not scheduled to arrive at the warehouse until the 28th. so when will it come? No clue! I told her I would like to just cancel and be refunded so that I can purchase the recliner at another furniture store and I now have to go all the way back to the store to do this. Extremely frustrating and I will never recommend or shop with them again.
The staff at Ashley in lake Charles is friendly and very helpful! We are so happy with our sectional couch and bed frame we bought here. We just ordered the Johnelle dining table and we can’t wait for it to be delivered!!
Highly recommend this store. Like the way the salespeople were not like vultures. Our salesperson, Kathy Lafleur, was not pushy but she was attentive. I would look up to ask a question and she would be there. She was really easy to talk to and even helped hold my tape measure, lol. Hoping the delivery service goes this well.

We purchased 3 sofa tables from this store. They were delivered 2 weeks later. All three were damaged. After numerous telephone calls and visits to the store, 3 weeks later a repair person came out. He stated all three needed to be returned. So, another week we had to wait while they processed the order and another 2 weeks for the order to come in. The day of the delivery we were notified that one of the tables is on back order and they could not give us about when it would come in. We asked for a refund. We were told it would take 10-14 days to process a refund. Once the refund is processed they would mail us a check. We paid for them on our cash card! They refuse to credit our cash card. I will never do business with them again! Customer service is terrible!

Can't even get anyone on the phone to see if they have a piece of furniture in stock. I don't see how this place is even open.

They are dishonest. Was contacted by their delivery for scheduled date so I took a vacation day from work to stay home and receive furniture. Then that day they cancelled the delivery and said next available was in 3 weeks. I just want to cancel the order now and they are making it extremely difficult to do that. Beware of doing business with them.
Don’t waste your time! My son purchased furniture for his new home and they guaranteed delivery by his closing day which was 2 weeks and no one called to let him know that they wouldn’t be able to delivery his furniture for another 3 weeks!!!!! So he is supposed to sit on the floor for 3 weeks??? Guess what , nope he just canceled his whole home purchase and went else where!!! Poor service!!!! Oh and the manager doesn’t even care!!! This store will shut it’s doors soon with this type of management!!

Ordered a bed on August 31. They delivered the incorrect sized rails 4 times, the rails were also for a bed we didn't even order! On the fifth try it was finally the correct size and correct style but they were damaged. Of course. So we asked for a refund on November 8 which was the day of the 5th attempt at getting the correct bed rails. We were told they would be coming to pick up the rest of the bed on November 9 between 10am and 1pm. They never showed up. Here we are, November 11, and I can't get in touch with anyone on the phone. I sit on hold and then the call drops mysteriously. I will NEVER use this company again. Here is an update on my situation. LOL!!! Scheduled two pick up dates and they never showed either time. Finally showed up on the THIRD scheduled date which was November 23rd. So I call today to check on the refund process because the Ashley Store Card company has been e-mailing me for payment even though I had already called the credit card company and told them the situation. Got looped back around twice to customer service and sat on hold. For some reason they just couldn't forward me to the Lake Charles store. So I hang up and call back. The girl who answers proceeds to tell me that my story is fake and that I am lying to try and get free money! So I ask her what her name was, very politely, and she hangs up on me. How lovely.
Delivery date is never on time. They get delivery out of Houston. This means that they only come to Lake Charles once a week. This could mean a month before you get your furniture. Today is 1 day from Thanksgiving. They confirmed a delivery date by phone a week ago. Since they had confirmed I gave my living room furniture a way. Now I have no furniture for Thanksgiving. Stay far away from this Ashley Furniture.

DO NOT waste your time here! We called twice asking if they had a certain piece of furniture and were told both time that they had it in stock. We drove an hour and a half with a trailer and they did not have it, and then we were told that they do not allow you to bring your own furniture home anyway. Just absolutely ridiculous. They didn’t offer any type Of discount or anything. I will NEVER do business with Ashley furniture again.
Horrible service... The number you call is not even for the local store. Been waiting all week for a delivery call an nothing. Not a good way to do business with someone much less the fact you buy 10k in furniture!

Terrible customer service. Bought and paid for 2 recliners and a couch. Was told it would be delivered 2 weeks later... didn’t happen, all of the employees acted as if they didn’t understand why we expected our furniture to be delivered on that date.... ummmmm because that’s what we were told.... then we are told it will be another 3 weeks before our couch will be in. So they said they would deliver our chairs a week later (today) and we could wait on the couch.... well it’s today... and guess what?! No chairs.
Don’t buy from here if you don’t want to be told you can’t exchange after 7 days. We’ve had our furniture 15 days and they won’t allow any returns or exchanges. Shopping local is the way to go.

After posting the review we did get more updates about the delays and we finally received our furniture. The furniture looks great and the delivery went smoothly. We do wish we have been told about the $4 fee for every online payment with the credit we applied for in store. The site also does not let you set up automatic payments for the credit line.
