I recently visited Ashley Furniture in Opelousas and I cannot say anything but great things about the customer service. The sales team there was nothing short of AMAZING 🤩 Santoyah took her time and was very patient! Even the sales manager Ms. Christine was amazing! Thanks again you guys!

Yesterday I went to use a gift card given to me in the amount of $100. When the worker attempted to swipe the card for payment, it didn’t give her an option to select gift card as the payment method. She reached out to her manager and was suppose to get back to me on yesterday but I haven’t heard anything yet.

My mom was in the market for a recliner and the salesperson Armani helped us out so much! My mom wasn't feeling well after the paperwork was done and Armani walked her all of the way to my car. Awesome job Ashley and Armani!!

Sales lady was great. Mgr was to busy sitting in a chair to help us. Went back to clearance only to find out what I picked out was actually inventory or broken. Why have in clearance if it’s not clearance

Very tentative sales people who always answer all of our questions. This time they helped us to pick our couple of pieces of furniture for our house.

I had a terrible experience. First, there was the bait and switch. The salesperson told me there was a one day only 30% sale. I then settled on two sofas only to be told, he can only do 20%. Ok no problem. It’s still a deal. He tells me the price for the two sofas. I walk to the back to pay. Insert my card. Sign. I’m thinking done deal. He then asks for a second form of ID. He doesn’t give a reason or provide any justification for this. It felt totally arbitrary and unnecessary.

Great price for the exact sofa I wanted. Salesperson was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable—made my experience easy and a pleasure! Would definitely return to this store and recommend to others.

Not happy at all with our experience thus far. It’s an absolute PAIN to actually speak to someone to schedule a delivery date! You can leave messages because you’re tired of being on hold and no one ever calls back. Also, the salesman at the store had us select a date, work was taken off for that particular date, and that date isn’t even when we are getting our delivery. Why would I have to select a date then?! First a land last time purchasing something here!

Everyone was very pleasant and assisted me with what I was looking for. Didn't hassle just let me walk around and get an idea what I wanted.

Christine made my shopping experience amazing

Opelousas location: Walked in looking for a recliner and sales person Mia met me and my daughter at the door. She proceeded to tell us that on 11/24/2023 everything in the store was 50% off. I found what I was looking for which the item was $500 and I asked so it’s 50% off she said yes I replied ok this is the one I want $250 after discount. We go to her table to finalize the purchase and she asked if I wanted the protection plan for $120 I told her sure. So in my mind it was $370 plus taxes that had to be charged. She then gives me my total of amount owed of $653. I questioned the total and she said you can look at the computer screen. I did and seen a discount of $100 for item, I asked her about it and she said the computer only lets them discount it that much. I asked what about the 50% where did that go? She said it’s 40% and I replied 40% of $500 is $200 so the chair is $300, she goes to another employee and she says that all they can do. Mia comes back and says they got the chair to $350. Now my new total was $599 and change. I asked how is this, she states well the chair is now $350 and the protection plan was $120 and tax. I said it still isn’t right then she told me it was $80 for delivery. I explained to her that I wanted to pick it up, she told me I couldn’t that it had to be delivered no other way. I told her I would think about all this and make a decision but while we were there my daughter wanted to look at a bedroom vanity for a new house were moving into. I told my daughter sure Ms. Mia would show her what they had. We all got up and was walking through the store (about halfway) the sales woman stops and tell us “when y’all come back I will show you the vanity’s, that she had paperwork to print out” so we just were shocked and left. Very terrible experience dealing with is location as I have never had these issues at the Lafayette location. I’m not sure if I’ll ever walk into that store again.

Purchased some furniture with my husband at Ashley furniture in Opelousas. We wasn't greet when we walked in the store! There was a guy there by the name of Brian Johnston sitting at a table on a laptop, me and my husband walked the floor and Brian never got up to ask us what we wanted or needed instead he sat there the whole time.so we found something that caught our eyes. We walking to the front to go & get Brian then he walks back to us to assist us. We purchase 2 items and asked what was the sale price of one of the items so Brian tells us to meet him by his desk in 5 minutes. Overall he gives us the price of one piece which was 800$ and tells us the other piece was a different price then he goes to say I can lower the price of the chair if you get the warranty so I'm asking questions about the prices ,warranty etc and get very rude and tell me that he already discussed it with my husband.. then tells us that the order would take approximately three weeks to come to our home and that the delivery is free. After the sale was completed and he prints out our order summary we notice the price of the chair was different from what he told us and also there is delivery fee included and also extended warranty on a clearance item we purchased. I called the store and spoke with him and asked him to remove the warranty because we didn't want the warranty and he insisted he couldn't remove the warranty. He began lieing to me on the phone saying if he was to remove the warranty I would have to pay 600$ for the chair.. I demanded him to remove it and he goes back to say he couldn't. I told.him I would be calling Manager and he says I am the assistant Manager. Overall his service I didn't like one bit, he trys to get over on people with merchandise prices and warranty prices. I recommend if your looking to purchase furniture then Ashley Furniture has nice things but DO NOT LET BRIAN JOHNSTON BE YOUR SALESMAN because he's not friendly, social, or HONEST AT All. I'll BE calling regional manager to voice my experience and to cancel my whole ORDER!!! He never thanked us even after our purchase.. the only Interest he has is the COmISSION not the customers!! RUN

Brian Johnston ( Ripp Off), I repeat DON'T deal with him. His customer service is poor, My wife and I went in the store looking for furniture and the whole time we was there about two hours we walked around and Brian stayed glued to his seat. We saw a chair my wife wanted and a loveseat so we walked up front and inquired about it because he failed to get up and greet us.. once we agreed to get it Brian tells us that the chair is 800$ when in reality it was 299$ after reviewing the receipt after purchased. And he tells us that in order for him to give us a discount on the clearance chair we have to purchase an extended warranty. We declined the warranty and was told on the loveseat that it would take 3 weeks to come and that we wouldn't have to pay a delivery fee..so after the sale was done he prints out the order summary and there is charges for extended warranty on a clearance item and he lied about the delivery fee and price of the loveseat. We call the store phone after noticing the charges on summary order and demand that he cancel the 299$ extended warranty and he lies and tells us that he can't take off the warranty. After numerous demands to take off the warranty he just keeps lieing and then says that if I was to take it off then you would have to pay $600$ for the chair.so I tell him to take it off and he replies again he can't do it. I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT IF YOU PLAN TO BUY ANYTHING TO NOT LET BRIAN JOHNSTON service you, he is a rip off and lier. He tricks people into purchasing an extended warranty on clearance items and lies about the pricing on items in the store. My experience was horrible and I don't want to go back there even though they have nice things in store I don't want to deal with someone like him. He out to get people into paying triple the price of the furniture. ASHLEY'S FURNITURE doesn't need to be represented like this. My order for my love seat I will sadly be CANCELing it because I don't think it's worth the lies he told me and my wife. And to top it off he DIDN'T even thank us for the purchase. I will also be calling the company to remove the warranty that was placed on the order. Ashley furniture might want to reconsider their assistant Manager Brian Johnston he isn't honest at all

We bought a dining table, when we went to pickup, it was damaged and we were promised a refund that we never received, very dishonest business !!!

I was looking for a chest of drawers. My space for it is limited. I checked at another furniture store and didn't find anything that would fit. I went to Ashley and they had several to choose from that would fit in the space. They had a huge selection and the salesman was very helpful and nice. However, when my furniture was delivered, it was the wrong thing. The salesman sold me a dresser (6 ft. wide) instead of a chest of drawers (3 ft. qide). I paid $75 for delivery of a piece of furniture that I had to refuse.

My experience was not a good one. We left the store unsure of my purchase. The sales person did not give us a total/wasn’t clear about the total cost of the merchandise and the monthly payment of the merchandise. Left Ashley store with no receipt after putting $500 down for a purchase, we was told that someone would call us to signed the paperwork and I haven’t received the call yet. So I am very unhappy with the service I received.

Today I visited Ashley’s furniture store here in Opelousas for the first time and I’m so grateful to have had Cici S. as my home furnishing specialist. Cici S. was very knowledgeable and not only knows her job, but does it well. She was also friendly and performed in a professionalism manner. She was very patient with me as I asked a bunch of questions and she answered every last one. I will definitely shop again at Ashley’s furniture store here in Opelousas due to the wonderful experience my home furnishing specialist provided and the variety of nice quality furniture they sell. We used the website and set the Opelousas store as our location. At no point were we informed that the order was coming from anywhere other than that specific store. After the order was placed we find out that it is not coming from that specific store and we had no option to set a specific date for delivery until FedEx picked up the order from who knows where. We had no intention whatsoever to purchase a product from anywhere but that specific store in Opelousas. Not some fulfillment center thousands of miles away. The website is a scam and misrepresents that you are purchasing the product from a specific store. Edit: although my experience with the website was unsatisfactory, my in person visit to the actual store was good.

This is my honest opinion! Not taking time out of my life to post a lie. Dealing with Ashley has and still is the worst experience of my life when dealing with a business. I ordered over $5500 worth of furniture on July 25th 2022. I was told by Christine Gradnigo that the furniture order in its entirety would be in by the end of August. Needless to say we didn’t receive our furniture and every time we call to check the status of the our it’s 4-6 weeks delay. We are now at a 12 week delay and no one can tell us when we will get it or give us a possible date. We have called customer service which is no help! They hangout up on you even we your being as polite as you possibly can even though you are frustrated with the situation. They have attitude problems and are of no use at all! Called the corporate office to no avail! I would never in my life recommend anyone to do business with Ashley. I will also make it my business to let everyone I know who is thinking of purchasing furniture to not do business with Ashley. This is by far the worst experience with a business in my 46 years on this earth! So to let you know how was my experience the word “horrible” doesn’t even begin to explain how dissatisfied I am! Next week I will cancel my order and take my business elsewhere! And I hate the fact that I HAVE to choose a star just so I can post this review! This store deserves no stars.

Not satisfied! I ordered a table with being told it would be in no longer than two weeks, a month and a half later I received my item . Not only did I have to wait longer than I expected, I got a delivery estimate time that it would be in by 2:10 that day and I received my table at 6:45 that day. Not only did I leave work early for nothing I got a damaged table With someone who came deliver that could hardly speak English.

Ashley furniture online service is the worst. I ordered 2 bedroom sets months ago. When I call to get a status update I get hung up on numerous times before I can get a live person and they can't even speak English. Never order online through the Ashley website!!!!

My experience was amazing. I had interactions with two men at the store. They both handle me very professionally. We had good conversations. The delivery services was also a great experience. I like all the text messages that I received all the way up to my delivery at my door. The men was finished setting up my set in record time. I will most definitely use Ashley for my next furniture purchased. I will also recommend them to family and friends. We just bought a living room and dining room full of furniture. Brian was such a prince, helping us with our selections and making sure we got the best deal possible. We have been furniture shopping for months and this is the best deals on quality furniture we could find in Central Louisiana and Acadiana. Go see them and ask for Brian. He is also a qualified Sleep Doctor.

Terrible service!! Ordered a kitchen table with chairs and 3 bar stools in January. Waited for delivery in April...got pushed back to May....got pushed back to the beginning of June....now June 30th....finally delivery day and surprise surprise the furniture is messed up! Paint is peeling off the table leg. I am so disappointed in Ashley Furniture. We asked for a refund and was basically refused by their staff. I am so disgusted to see that a company would treat their customers this way. Never NEVER again will I buy anything from Ashley!

We went in looking for a wide seat recliner to purchase and to look around for a sofa and loveseat to purchase later. Brian was such a great help that we walked out with all three ordered. He wasn't pushy and was able to answer all our questions. (There were quite a few). He fully explained the payment options (which are great) and how the protection plan works. We looked at some other stores and nothing compared. I'm glad we went in the store that day and look forward to working with them again when I'm ready for new kitchen furniture.

I recommend you read the warranty reviews before purchasing from Ashley furniture. For how overpriced their products are their quality is horrible. Customer service is horrible. It’s not a matter of if but when you will have an issue with their product and when you contact the warranty that you may have paid an additional $400 for to have your item repaired or replaced they will give you the run around. Read the reviews separately from on their site, trust me you want to look into a more reputable company. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else that is actually known for quality and stands behind their products. They have great sales people who will make you feel like you are getting an awesome product at a great price but in the end you will be left with a low quality cheaply made product that you will end up having to replace. Save yourself and shop elsewhere. I sure wish that I read reviews before my purchase. I’m left with a couch that broke in less than 4 months and they keep saying someone will come out to look at it and no one ever shows up on the day they say. I paid for the extra warranty and will continue to fight them for their faulty frame. My loveseat was also delivered wet because the delivery team set it down in a puddle and when reported same day within an hour when I realized it was dripping water, they said it would be replaced but they never followed through on that either. Read the reviews, you have been warned! Ashley furniture is a scam and their warranty is a scam.

Ashley is the absolute best furniture store around, the only thing is that they only have show rooms: not good for shipping 😒

The salesmen there are spectacular. I went today and it was before 4:00pm and stayed until a little after 6:00pm. The salesman worked with me nonstop, even though, unknown to my knowledge, he got off at 5:00pm. He never tried to rush me or to get me to purchase the bed frame I was interested in. He took his time and we talked over price for a while. He and his managers did everything they could to get me the absolute lowest price they could. I’ve bought from them before and I will continue to do business with them. I have a line of credit with one of their lenders, because I am so satisfied with their salesmen. They are very knowledgeable of their products and of their store layout. They even made me aware of the wait times (6-8 weeks) for most of their furniture. I recommend them to all of my friends and family looking for sectionals, beds, mattresses etc. Again, I will continue to furnish my home through them.

Good service, was greeted as soon as we walked in. Only issues is, it was only after we picked out our item, and did the financing did they tell us they had to order it, and that it would take 2 weeks to come in.

I went looking for a king mattress last year around June. I ended up buying their Gruve 12 Inch Memory Foam kind mattress. It has the cooling top on it and it is also medium to firm. I love it. Best sleep I’ve gotten in a long time. We were looking to upgrade the mattress in our spare bedroom and went back there on August 18th 2021 and wanted the same mattress but in a queen. The salesman helped me find out which one I had and got it for a good price. I was honestly just going to look and not buy, but I couldn’t walk away from the great price. We will be going back when we are ready to upgrade our living room furniture.

Always so friendly, never pushy and gives you space to look around! This is always my go to place when I need furniture!

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful in helping us find what we were looking for and in helping us with things to go see and what restaurants to try in the area. Loved my experience with Rico my husband will be in love with our new mattress

Purchased a lift recliner for my mom .Avery was the salesperson and he was helpful and knowledgeable . I would recommend to everyone ! Well I purchased a sofa and a love seat love the furniture and the salesperson was great but the delivery is not the day they quote and the furniture was damaged and a work order wasn’t made so I made a work order and when I called because the man I spoke with told me to call the next day if I didn’t get a call from the repair person I did and spoke to someone different of course and he said that the repair man had to call first and he was not coming on the day I was first told ! It’s just a run around !

The call center and customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. I can never get in touch with the store directly unless I drive down there. Every person I speak to says something different. I received a call to deliver my furniture and was told that I should receive a call 24-48, when I didn't, I called and spoke to 4 different people and every person said something different. I'm thoroughly aggravated

Taking back my previous review. The people that work here are amazing, now the company itself is not worth the wait. I ordered a sofa chaise, paid cash, didnt lease, got delivered and thwy didnt want to spend the time to get it into my front door. Understood. So they took it back. The manager and a man named Avery were very sweet trying to help me, so i ordered 2 love seats instead. In case i had issues with my door again. The delivery date kept gwtting pushed back months and months at a time. Pretty heartbreaking. All i have delivered is an ottoman. Thats what my family currently sits on.

Although, this has been one of my favorite places to shop because I do love the inventory. This has been a NIGHTMARE to say the least. I have recently purchased over 10,000 worth of furniture. Paid for the Protection Plan. I originally filed a claim in December to have I spot cleaned . No response. Went to the store several times for update an status of claim no response. NOTHING has been done no one has contacted me regarding this. It is A SCAM an they do not honor what they sell. I will be contacting the BBB an my attorney Monday morning if I do not receive a refund or my service. Will I shop there again? NO Horrible service, once deal is made! Mrs. Kennerson

I didn’t think I could get everything I wanted at a reasonable price. The only issue is I order my furniture in November it’s almost February and I still don’t have all my furniture. The customer service sucks and you would think they would apologize but not even. NEVER AGAIN

I went to the Opelousas Ashley furniture I search of a bed for my new home. With the help of a motivated sales person, I was able to purchase the most beautiful bed within an hour. It was the quickest purchase I have made at a furniture store in the past year.

This is my favorite place to shop for furniture and accessories. The Ashley furniture store in Opelousas LA. is very pretty and always clean . Always great deals and prices are reasonable. It has a great store layout as well. They are always courteous and patient with you if you’re having trouble making up your mind. Christine and Trey are awesome and my son and daughter now get there furniture there. We love Ashley Furniture.

I paid in June 2020 for a Electrical sofa recliner, had to cancel the order in August because they kept pushing back delivery date.I received what I put on debt card back, but never received the cash I put down !!! I was told it would take 6-8 weeks!! 😡Just called and they are saying I can’t get money back !! This entire company is pathetic!!! NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!! Try to support local and this is the service you get😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬

I ordered my couch September 4 and my salesman told me it would be ready for pick up in 4 weeks. We are going on 12 weeks now, and not once have I got a call or email or any follow ups telling me when I should expect my furniture. I have called and emailed numerous of times and the only time I get any answers is if I go in person. They notified me that all of my pieces are in except one piece and I could pick up this week but when I went to pick up only one piece was in stock. I have never dealt with worst customer service than with Ashley Furniture and I am very disappointed. I have been couch less for 12 weeks now and wish I would have been told it would have taking this long. Now I have no idea where my couch will be in.

I ordered my furniture from this location on Memorial Day May 2020; I haven’t received my bed. I tried calling on several occasions to this store and also Lafayette and the phone just rings. I realized during these times of the pandemic things are much slower; however, a truthful answer as to the update on my bed would be most appreciated. Instead, I received countless calls stating my bed is being pushed back and no explanation. On yesterday, I received a call stating it would be pushed back till November 17, 2020, then today another monotone call stating I will get it on November 19, 2020. I’ve waited this long, so of course, I will be even more patient; however, customer service lacks and the worst part is from the tone it appears no one cares. Please improve on customer service. My service in person with my salesman Isaiah was exceptional and he gets a 5 star but it starts at the top. Thank you

They dont have a wide selection on items but they are good at answering the phones unlike the lafayette store.

So after having to cancel my order bc it took 3 months and still wasn’t delivered I went to browns and got it the Same Day!! The day they came to deliver one end table and entertainment center they sent the wrong thing it’s not even mine and it’s double the price eel this was over a month ago and there billing me for furniture that isn’t mine !!! I’ve called and went in to store several times and they always act like this is the 1 st time they heard of this. I’m stuck with this furniture that isn’t mine don’t match and is way more then I wanted to pay. This place is a joke!!!!!

This place is the worst, shopped there two times .Will never go back.Two months to get a couch delivered and they mess that up. Can't talk to a human without a lot of hoops to jump through. Totally uncaring attitude. Everything is automated to get info. Expensive products for what you must endure to get it to your house..Sad part they do have the very best furniture. If you can endure the wait, you get nice furniture!

We just bought a sectional couch from Ashley Homestore and absolutely love it there. Customer service was great and it took no time to get all the information we needed and purchased it right away!

Walked around looking for a particular sofa set,at least 6 workers were there never once came up to us asking if we needed help. That alone will not give them my business. Actually went ready to buy with cash,their loss.

I was able to furnish an entire apartment complete with out of state delivery! Very smooth process that helped ease the stress of moving to a new area sight unseen. :)

Damaged Merchandise and Unacceptable Business Operations/Customer Service On February 2, I ordered furniture from Ashley Furniture Online. Initial Delivery Date of Saturday February 8th, Nothing was delivered by Ashley Furniture this date. I called and was informed that only some of items were available for delivery and ASHLEY Furniture would not deliver anthing until all items came in. Wasted my time waiting and not being initially told this. Second Attempt at Delivery Thursday February 13th, I had to use Vacation Day for this delivery attemp. an incomplete delivery took place; and what was delivered of damaged. Items delivered - Dresser with damage at base - Mirrors (2) both with damaged corners, one with 12 inch scratch on side - Bed Rails Damaged beyond use - Head and Foot Board all hardware loose tool for assembly not with item - Foundation corner damaged and bottom ripped off Calls were made to address situation to no avail or satisfaction, representative insistant there was nothing that could be done. Pictures sent of damage to email address provided by Ashley representative. Third delivery was set for Saturday February 15th, Ashley furniture delivery did not show up. A call was placed as to why delivery not accomplished in expected window, I was at this time informed that it was cancelled. ANOTHER OF SATURDAY MORNINGS WASTED BY ASHLEY FURNITURE. Fourth delivery attempt Wednesday February 19th, I had to use half a Vacation Day for this delivery attemp. -Delivery supposed to be dresser and replacement rails ONLY DRESSER SHOWED UP AND HAS DAMAGED HANDLE ON ONE DRAWER AND NO HARDWARE TO ATTACH MIRROR. Delivery confirmed on day before and spent time explaining my dissatisfaction to this point with no attempts by Ashley Furniture to correct situation. I have assembled all except one miror and dresser, for wich hardware to do so was missing and delivery personel had to scrounge truck to find "somthing that would work". It has been 17 Days and I have not heard from Ashley furniture on any of the issues with furniture damage, I have called numerous times and been told lots of things and run around.

I bought a new Tempur- Pedic mattress from Ashley! Never slept better before in my life! Lane was very knowledgeable about sleep science. My husband and I learned so much about sleep science! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! If I could rate 10 stars, I would. If you are looking for furniture, ask for Lane! He’ll take care of you! Also had the pleasure of meeting the newest manager in Opelousas, Cici Savoy. Best part this is her hometown. It’s the best to feel like I’m getting a family experience! Bought a 3 piece sectional. Waited a month for it. Got called the day of delivery to be notified that I would only be getting two pieces. Manager on the phone was absolutely rude, told me to expect it for the 4th of January which is two days after my initial delivery date. I called the store with a different question and was notified it was scheduled for the 7th of January. I'm paying $160 for delivery and waited a solid month for my furniture. I can't wait for this experience to be over, I will not be buying anything else from this store.

Items that Are purchased now have to be picked up in Lafayette. The opelousas store will not even have items brought to their store for pick up. This is a huge inconvenience. Unless you are having your furniture delivered. Shop elsewhere

Order furniture for Christmas. Verified furniture was in stock and to be delivered for December 19. Just got a phone call that I may have it for December 24 (yeah right Christmas eve), but no guarantees. Come to find out dates and in stock is not guarantee. I guessing just assumed. This store is on Opelousas La. Very discouraging

Bad experience with this company, go somewhere else, after purchasing a couch & love seat, 1 of the seat cushions was messed up, it took about 6 months to come in and was to small, devastating, took another 6 months to get it right, imagine our frustration waiting all this time after paying over 2000 for the set, they never offered an exchange or anything, just left us waiting all that time to be able to use our new couch. I would give zero stars if i could, shop Home furnishings way better quality furniture, no headaches.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. This place is incompetent. After paying for delivery, we ended up going and getting our mattress and our bed still isn’t here. The reason we went to get our mattress is because they said they deliver everything at once and our bed hadn’t arrived. Ms Paula said it would take UP TO 21 days. She told us this AFTER we paid, and made a point to tell them that we were sleeping on an air mattress in our new home until then. 21 days later, I call about our bed. It still hasn’t come in and it could take “up to another week” according to the same person, stating she has nothing to do with delivery.

A order March 23,2019 waiting for furniture to arrive on May 7,2019 still haven’t arrived I rather order on line and get it in week I’ve went through the moment with this company from the time of payment I was told April 12,2019 I would have the furniture then May 7,2019 and still waiting and I’ve paid cash
