I bought a bed that was in stock and picked it up myself because I needed it right away. I paid someone to put it together and when I got home it was missing a bracket and bag of hardware. Ashley stated they do not do returns and it will be 2-4 weeks for me to get the hardware to be able to put together and use the bed I purchased. I will NEVER shop Ashley furniture again. Extremely disappointed!!!

Sales person Michelle helped me choose the right chair for me. I have been looking for sometime, but Ashley had good quality and more reasonable prices. All the hype for Black Friday sales pricing was disappointing. Could only give four star rating because of not much discounting.

Shopping for a dining set, with specific styling in mind, I was able to find it right inside the front doors. The doorbuster deal made it even better by keeping cost to about half of what I had found at another store. Emily was such a pleasure, as she helped me.
Absolutely worst customer service!!! I specifically asked in the store if everything will come assembled. They told me yes. I had someone pick up my purchase from the distribution center so they had no idea what I ordered. They dropped off my purchase to me to realize that the box springs I ordered do actually have to be assembled. I am injured and not able to assemble myself. Even after the fact that my bed was delayed and I was patient about it. I called customer service and they did NOTHING to help me. I will NEVER AND I SAY NEVER buy anything from them again. They weren't willing to help me at all. After the fact that I even asked before purchasing that it will be all assembled. They told me since it was picked up they have NO RETURN policy. Well, they shouldn’t have told me one thing and I didn’t get what I paid for. Shame on you Ashley. I would give “0” stars if I could!
The best for store
There needs to be an option for ZERO stars. I was forced to pick up my original order and when I got home one piece was damaged and another piece was missing parts. 3 MONTHS LATER and they still haven’t replaced my order. I’ve canceled plans twice now to be home for a delivery only for it to get canceled halfway through the day of delivery. Kevin was my salesperson and if you’re looking for someone that only cares about getting the sale and not worried about anything else once he gets paid then he’s your guy for sure! Everything about this place and company lacks customer service. Take it from all the negative reviews and do yourself a favor, avoid this place at all costs!!
Bennett Cockerham is the salesperson to ask for. He will answer all your questions with extreme patience, never be pushy or rushed to get you to choose and will tell you better more affordable options/financing incentives to give you more options. He spent over 4 hours with me to choose a bed and nightstands and a mattress. He made the experience as great as it could possibly be. 100% ask for Bennett when you go to Ashley in Hammond/Robert LA! Bought a recliner. Was given the wrong one. Customer service department told me they would not pickup the wrong recliner and bring me the correct one. Said if I didn’t email them a picture of the incorrect recliner they wouldn’t accept the exchange. Brought the incorrect recliner back today. They tried to give me the wrong one again. Rotten customer service.

If you visit this store, do not work with Emily E. She was very friendly and helpful when we first arrived and we told her that we were looking at purchasing a new sofa. After browsing and discussing prices, we decided that we didn’t want to buy a new sofa, but instead wanted to buy an ottoman. When we informed her of this decision whole demeanor towards us changed. The person we met at the beginning of our visit was gone. She became rude and irritated with us because we didn’t purchase what she wanted us to. I can assume that she was upset and became rude because she thought she was going to make a good commission off us and then realized that her commission would be smaller because we were purchasing less. This is completely uncalled for and unprofessional. We ended up purchasing online instead so that we didn’t have to deal with her snide remarks and rudeness towards us.
I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I had the option. I will never recommend them to anyone. I made a very large purchase in store. When my bed got delivered the delivery team left a mess in my bedroom as well as a razor blade on my nightstand, next to the pictures that they knocked over. They refused to take the old bed because the salesman conveniently forgot to add it to the ticket. I have called customer service, messaged them, called the store, shown up to the store and nothing but crickets. I have a king size bed in my garage blocking my walkway making it difficult to move around it. I highly regret my decision to do business with them.

My card was charged twice. After speaking with the manager, he gave me his cell phone number in an attempt to ensure me that the second charge would be taken care of. The second charge never dropped off and he never answered his phone. Phone line to the store sends you through automated messages versus a person. Ended up having to dispute through my credit card company with no resolution offered by Ashley. Then all delivery dates I requested and agreed to were changed by the company to times I was not available. Since this too was only chat bots and not human beings, the next available delivery date will leave me sitting on my living room floor for a week since the sofa's delivery date is now pushed back nine days. Never again.
We bought a rocker/chair and a sofa. The delivery date kept changing and we had already given our neighbor our old sofa. After signing for the delivery, we changed our minds about the rocker/chair and Ashley Furniture would not take it back. It was only in our house one hour! I told them that they just lost a good customer. When I received my credit card bill there was an additional charge of over $600.00, I had to call guest services and they did not know what the charge was for. I was on the phone for over an hour. I will never buy from them again.

The buying process wasn't the problem. When we picked up the couch set, we noticed a gash in it, so we called the number to put a claim in that exact same day because I knew you only had a certain amount of hours. The service technician came over to our house smelling like straight weed and told us he didn't want to try to fix it because it wouldn't look like it should if he started messing with the leather. I am on the phone every week with the service team and every week they tell me they are going to replace it but every week they don't notate that so every week its the same conversation. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I've ever dealt with. Will not buy from them ever again.

Was told the dresser oul be $450. I aid ok im on my way. Get there he person was busy so someone else checked me out. And my total ended up be way more $555.00 Apparently he put me down for a protection plan i didnt want and was told bc i already picked the dresser up he couldnt do anything about it..
Went to Ashley store to look for a sofa and loveseat. We were greeted right away and were pointed in the direction of what we were looking for. The sales attendant was very friendly and said she would allow us to look around, and if we needed something she'd be available. My husband and I loved the fact that she didn't hover over us like dead prey, 😂 She would check on us and answer questions we might have had. Other attendants would also check in with us. Overall, our experience was great and we found something we liked and bought it. Can't wait for it to arrive.

Terrible, told me sofa was supposed to deliver today. Cleared old sofa out. Texted salesman for update , said they canceled my order because signatures didn't match?!?!? Match what? I paid cash outright. Used car lot feel, if you don't accept extended warranty you are treated like an enemy.
We had an amazing experience with Ashley and we never felt any kind of pressure or like the vultures were circling about to pounce. Which is the best part. We will definitely be goin back and will 100% use them for all our furniture stuff!
Outstanding service, Brian is as professional as it gets. I knew what I could afford and what my qualifications would afford me. We were able to communicate straight forward without any type of haggle (which is expected in most cases) and walked out with a great deal. I plan to return in the future.

Called the store to ask about specific furniture I wanted to buy for my house I’m buying. Brenda was very patient and kind. She was able to talk me through everything I needed to know. She set me up with a quote she sent to my email which was itemized so I knew exactly what I was getting. Brenda explain how returns/exchanges would happen if I found myself needing to do so. She was able to set my furniture up for delivery on the day I needed. All around a great experience so far. I can’t wait to see my new bed set and couch when it comes in!

We were greeted as we walked in. We were shown what was available in the way of makeup vanities. We were allowed to browse the store. We found a bunk bed set that worked for us and completed a smooth transaction. It was a successful visit with professional customer service. Edit: Too many broken pieces when we went to pick up the bunk bed. We declined the purchase. We ordered a new set and were given a discount due to our trouble. The first set we purchased had storage but the set we ordered was not entered to include the storage therefore when delivered it differed from the original set we had purchased.

Upon arrival they set up everything but the bed frame. They then informed us the headboard was broken and that they would send us a new one. Not one, not two, not five but Six months later we finally got a notice that the bed frame was coming only to be delayed another 3 weeks I called and was put on hold for over three hours then bounced back and forth was suppose to have a called back twice in a span of 48 hours never did. I had explain the situation every time of what my issue was to then finally be told it was at their warehouse and if I wanted to go get it I could instead of waiting on delivery. So I drove over an hour the next day to pick it up only to discover it wasn't there and they had no idea where it was. After another week of no one knowing where it was finally showed up at the warehouse. I bring home and installed it only for it to break right when the buyer's warranty ran out and there was nothing they could do for me. Keep in mind too they never offered any time of condolences or resolution to previous problems or discounts. So now I had to buy a quick little frame for my bed since there's an expensive set broke within 2 years. HORRIBLE QUALITY BUILD. ZERO RESOLUTIONS, BAD COMMUNITCATION.

Zoe did a great job in helping us and allowing us to walk freely and shop but she was always there when we needed to ask questions but then left us alone to shop and enjoy our time without shadowing us. Michelle was very sweet and helpful as well. We always shop at Ashley for our furniture and have been loyal customers for over 5 years! Brian has always helped us in the past and he too is very helpful!

Purchased 4 pieces of furniture over two months ago. When delivered with their “white glove service” my furniture was left scattered in my living room due to the inability to communicate with the delivery crew who didn’t speak English. They left trash all around my house and even had to ask for a cutting blade to open the boxes. Three out of the four pieces of furniture was delivered broken and/torn. I have attempted to have this problem fixed but all I keep getting is one excuse after another. Spend your money with a company who truly cares about customer service and satisfaction because this store is only full of empty promises!

Ok, so I DO recommend Ashley for the furniture, it’s gorgeous and so far seems to be well made, BUT!!! And this is a huge BUT! The deliver is an absolute disaster. I’ve had to have three different deliver dates bc they didn’t bring the right mirror the first time, two of the three deliveries were made at 816-830 at night, and the last delivery last night, they backed it truck off into my yard making a HUGE mess and awful ruts in my yard….. if they could get the delivery situation ironed out WAY better it would be more likely for me to recommend Ashley.

SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! I've come to the conclusion that Ashley Furniture is nothing more than a big scam operation. We bought 2 items of furniture. The first one, a chair, they delivered the wrong one twice, when we didn't accept it the second time, because it didn't even resemble what we ordered, the order was completely canceled, without a refund. The second was a mattress, which come to find out, 3 weeks after payment and it's not so much as even been ordered yet. The customer service, delivery company, and Ashley furniture are all different independently operated companies. If customer service even answers the phone, they hang up on you when you ask them the name of their company. Ashley Furniture, the customer service company, and the delivery company are all guilty of giving you the full-circle run around. You will run in endless circles with these people, without ever getting any resolution, while they merrily make off to the bank with your money. I don't know how they have a 4 star rating on their website, they must have manipulated that rating. If you go to read the reviews, you will find countless people with the same experience as I had, leaving a 1 star rating, wishing 0 was an option. Countless people claiming buying furniture from Ashley was the worst furniture purchasing experience in their entire lives. You may see some reviews with compliments to the sales associates, and I will say they're pretty good. They do a great job of securing your money, but it's all downhill or more aptly straight off a cliff after that.

Read the reviews before buying!!! You will likely either get the wrong order or the scheduled delivery changed several times to include still not getting your order after several changes. They pawn all of this off on a third party which sends you in a goose chase. The buying experience was good. We had Bennet who went above and beyond to help accommodate us on our order.... that's the end of the good We were scheduled to get our order within about 2 weeks. We sat at the house when half of our order came in. The delivery guys spoke very little English. They sent the wrong chair that was nothing like the one we ordered.The delivery people are apparently a third party and told us we needed to figure it all out at 6 pm (everything was closed) or we needed to sign for it. Ultimately we refused the order. The next day I called the store who told me they no longer have anything to do with the order and gave me another number to a "guest services " which is also another third party. I called guest services and was put on hold for over 45 minutes. Ultimately they "fixed " the order and it was scheduled to be delivered in another week. They redelivered the same wrong chair. I called guest services again and was told they never updated the order. I was told they have to wait on ANOTHER third party to give them an estimated shipping date before getting another delivery date. I also checked the second half of the original order and was told the delivery date on that order also wouldn't make it at the date already given. Update.... they rescheduled again on one order pretending their was never an order put in despit it already being changed several times and the other order was apparently canceled the third time it was supposed yo be delivered. We are out a lot of money and probably won't get it back without a lot of headache. Will update. Ashley Furniture responds to these reviews with a number/email which you never talk to a real person. I honestly don't see how they can be this screwed up and still in business.
Poor communications with customers. I experienced a very poor customer service where they don't see any necessity to communicate changes to your orders or delivery dates. The sales people and delivery units are very disjointed in terms of delivery schedule and timeliness. And when I tried talking to them, their leaders try to justify their poor service. I ended up canceling my orders

The salesman was nice, but right after ordering my furniture, I went home and saw a commercial which stated you get a free yeti cooler with qualifying purchase. No one ever mentioned this to me. Just curious why I didn’t qualify.

BUYER BEWARE Absolutely terrible customer service. If I could leave less I would. DO NOT purchase from this store. I have been given the run around for over 6 months over furniture that needs to be replaced. Manufacture defect on a 2000$ table. They have sent multiple techs out to “fix” the table. Everyone has come out and said it is non repairable. They have taken pictures and left. I have talked to at least 25 people trying to resolve the issue. They simply do not want to take care of the problem. I’ll never step foot in this store again.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! You will thank me 100%. Okay, so first these pple gona take your money and when delivery is expected you gona find out your order has been cancelled without your money being refunded, you go waste 2+ hours to get them to submit your order again For same stuff since they already have the money. After couple weeks when you will receive your furniture it will be delivered by some Spanish dudes who do not speak a single word of English but they are trained and prepared to leave what ever they brought at your place even if ain’t right, they don’t care. If you got Lucky and have a translator even the delivery guy who don’t speak a word of English will write a message/note where it will state all the problems, missing stuff which will seem legit but don’t be fooled it would be just for you to sign it. “Which would turn out to be your acceptance signs, that everything is good” so they can get out without picking wrong items up. Will text and keep up with you next whole day that he is on way with the right items and after 8pm he will stop responding & then the run arounds and blames will Begin. This place is not what you think none of their systems work, you can’t get anything outta the call centers they provide number of because their systems are down always. IT IS SOME SCAMMERS AND THIRD WORLD MARKET PLACE. You might as well go to a Mexican market. AGAIN DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND will MAKE A FOOL OUT OF YOU AFTER TAKEING YOUR MONEY. Shameful behavior and shameless people.

RUN FROM THIS STORE!!!! Do not be roped into the low prices. The low prices are because the store does not operate correctly. We ordered a sofa and only got a partial sofa. When the part came, it was broken and had to send it back. They don’t inspect their items before they send them and put them on the truck. THEY DON’t stick to their promises. They promised that we would have a sofa on Saturday and it was Broke!!
Bad service. They promised the sofa would be delivered between 2-5…NOT!!!!!!! And the sales person KEVIN… gave us his “personal cell” if we have any issues.. of course NO ANSWER!!

Beware!!! Do not do business with this store. My furniture arrived in partial orders and pierces. It took 2 months to receive a dining room chair only for it to break in 1 month. After driving to the store I was provided an email to send pictures. I did that and sent follow up emails with no response. After driving another 60 miles back to the store I was told (blatantly lied to) that the email had not been received and handed a sheet of paper to contact customer care. Upon contacting the customer care number I was provided a number to text my information and told to wait 72 hours for a response. Again, never again

I am a return customer. I have always thought Ashley's has good quality furniture. I was able to find what I wanted and given a great price. I am so excited for delivery day.
Bait and switch. Shame on Ashley. They advertised 4 lovesaeats at sale prices but had none of them and could not order them. But tried to sell me more expensive items. Store staff was nice, but they could not overcome the deceptive marketing.
We will never shop here again. Our order was wrong from the start. First they ordered the non-electric sofa chair, which I thankfully caught before delivery and had fixed. They ordered and delivered the wrong box spring. I wanted the thin one at the time because I was pregnant and needed the bed lower. After over a month of contacting, I finally spoke to a manger who said he ordered the correct one and would deliver and change it out. It’s been many months since we heard back. We have tried contacting through their ‘customer service’ (which is really a third party) several times in the past months and are told we will get a call back. We have yet to get a call back. In addition, the chair sofa is missing cushioning on the reclining part, and I am constantly digging my heals into a wooden board.

I ordered a couch in store, and the salesperson told me that it would be delivered in 5 weeks. In store, I made it very clear that I needed my chaise to be on the right side. We placed the order correctly. This couch took no less than 2 months to come in. When the couch finally came in, it was the wrong facing chaise. The delivery guys said that customer service would call me, yet they never did. I had to call them, wait on hold, and when I finally got to talk to someone, and complain about how ridiculous this situation was, they hung up in my face. Now, they won’t even take a call from me. As soon as I get connected, they hang up again. This is absolutely ridiculous and I would NEVER recommend ASHLEY FURNITURE.

My boy Kevin Sheldon hooked me up. I had bad taste in my mouth about Ashley after buying a mattress that f*#@ up my back but Kevin made it right. With bad back problems I purchased a medium firm mattress a month and half ago and I still had bad back problems. Did the 90 day exchange and the mattress I really needed cost 500 extra bucks. Mr. Kevin Sheldon hooked me up. He expelled the extra 500 and say my new mattress will be at my door 4/1. Go through and chop it up with Kevin-DA Furniture Man. He will get ya right. Trust!!
I was looking for a TV stand. Michelle showed me some choices and I picked out the one I wanted. I’m very happy with my selection and it was a great experience.
Do not buy anything from Ashley. It's been six months and we still don't have the correct order. They also will not return phone calls. We've submitted several tickets and not once received a call back. It took several months to get damaged order that was wrong. The damages have also not been fixed.

Ordered a brand new bed for my kid’s room. When it arrived it was damaged. The next week, the drivers arrived, to their surprise all pieces to the bed wasn’t loaded onto the truck. After one month of waiting for a brand new bed i paid for, I opted for a complete refund. No apology rendered what so ever! It was UNBELIEVABLE! DO NOT RECOMMEND, unless you’re not in desperate need of furniture and have time to wait for them to get their business together.

Horrible. I ordered a chair in January and still have not received it.
So I ordered furniture during the time they had select items on sale. My mother and myself were shopping for living room sets for our homes. Lady named Brenda helped us and showed us different living room sets. Well we ended up finding something we liked and Brenda asked us about getting a card, ran my credit and seemed pleasantly surprised that I had good credit. Then she was way more willing to help and wanted to show us more furniture. We opted to pick up the furniture ourselves, since my dad normally picks furniture up. The day we spoke to Brenda and she told us we could pick it up, we said when we would come (Sat), well she never said it would be in another area because we said see you then. Well we arrive around 2:20-2:30 because we attended a funeral. Got there Brenda was rude saying very loudly she’s with a customer and we got our stuff on clearance so we need to go to the warehouse or distribution center. Another person assisted us (Brian) and informed us where to go but not once said they closed at 2:30. When we arrived of course it took us to the store and they directed us to another area that wasn’t correct and by the time we made it to the correct area they were closed. This was such an inconvenience and the communication from Ashley’s members was not customer service like. The whole experience that day ruined the excitement of picking up new furniture. At this time I’m close to canceling my order because I’ve already gotten rid of my old living room furniture the night before knowing I was getting a new set and going after the funeral. Ashley, do better and communicate with your customers. Definitely will not be buying my bedroom and sons bedroom set from Ashley’s.

This has to be one of the most incompetent companies in the United States. I ordered a bed and they sent the wrong rails. No problem, anyone can make a mistake. Instead of them rushing a set, they informed me it would be two weeks. Two weeks go by and no rails. They didn’t even order the rails from the warehouse. They finally get the rails ordered and said it would be three days. I get a call today and they said the rails would be delivered in another 10 days. Meanwhile, I have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor. This is incompetence. A good company would have rushed the the set of rails, especially since it was their fault twice. DON’T BUY FROM A COMPANY THAT DOESN’T CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS.

If you want to be disappointed and spend months on calling and waiting for your furniture then Ashley is the one that you need. I ordered my bedroom set on June 2022. They said I should receive it in 3-4 weeks, but I received it after 4 months. When they delivered my bedroom set one drawer was broken, I called them l, and they offered the repair in the next 10 days. It should be done in October, but I am still waiting to get that done . This is the worst place to buy furniture or anything else.

We purchased a new sectional sofa on 1/3/22 with the warranty from previous purchase in addition to paying out of pocket. It was delivered on 4/6/22 and all 7 pieces were damaged and needed to be replaced. We received the replacements on 8/25/22 and 4 of the 7 pieces were damaged. We then decided to just get something else instead of replacing it and ordered 2 sofa’s. I was 1st told that it would be an even swap, even though it was $979 less and a portion of that was out of our pocket. I finally got them to give us a refund for our portion, which would be refunded to my card upon delivery of the 2 sofa’s. We received the 2 sofa’s on 10/20/22 and had a slight issue with 1 recliner on each of the sofa’s. I opted to just have a technician come out instead of replacing them. All that said, I am still waiting for my refund and the technician to come. The only person I can get in touch with is my salesman. He has been escalating this to his manger’s and nothing is getting done. Very disappointed customer!!
We went to the store on November 19 looking for a sectional. Ms. Brittany Hoffman helped us out. With sectionals you have to be careful of the left arm facing and right arm facing - I wasn't confident in my ability to know the difference between the two. So when we found a sectional we liked, we told her we wanted it EXACTLY like how it was in the showroom because that's the only way we thought it would fit in our living room. We got our couch yesterday - January 5. Delivery was fine. Told us between 11 and 2 and around 1:05 they said they were an hour away. Couch was delivered at 3. Not too far outside of the time window. But after we unwrapped it all and got it in place, we realized we had the opposite facing couch to what we needed. I checked the boxes against what the sales order said and everything matched. So Ms. Brittany had sold us the wrong facing couch. Thankfully, after getting rid of a big floor lamp and some side tables, we can make it work and avoid having to wait a long time to get the correct couch. I have a picture attached of what the couch looked like on the showroom and I have a picture of what the couch we received looks like. Same sectional, just the long part of the sectional is on the wrong side. So sectional ended up being fine and I still love the sectional, delivery was good, but the actual store was lacking.
If I could give these people a negative zero I would. Literally the WORST experience I have ever dealt with. I keep getting brushed off about getting my furniture. I canceled my order over 6 weeks ago and still have NOT gotten my refund from where I paid cash! I have called corporate. I have called the store. I am forewarning everyone DO NOT PURCHASE from Ashley’s. I’ve had other people tell me horror stories of broken furniture coming in. I had friends receive furniture that was molded. The customer service people are extremely rude every time you talk to a customer service representative they each have something different to say. I still have not received my check and I have contacted the better business bureau!
In the late spring of 2022, my husband and I purchased a bed for my son. My son was thrilled. Sales lady reported that the estimated delivery would occur on July 16th and that she was required by the company to call every couple of weeks to update us. She never called. I called multiple times to check the status. Every time I called, it took 45 minutes to an hour for someone to answer the call. And the delivery date kept being pushed back. Part of the product was finally delivered in November. All seemed well. After a couple of days, we realized parts were assembled backwards and screws had been put in too tightly and cracked some of the parts. Disappointed to say the least. My husband left a review and someone from the store contacted him and said they would come out to reassemble the bed correctly. It’s January and that still has not happened by no fault of our own. And we still have not received some parts of the bed. It is a loft bed with drawers/shelves underneath and not all of them are in yet. Really disappointed. Don’t waste your money here.

I wish I’d read the reviews before I walked into Ashley furniture store. And y’all that love the place must not have come up on your furniture delivery date. Because it won’t come. First off reviewing the paperwork my order was wrong, called the sales girl to correct it. Later and I should have looked better, my name was spelled wrong and my phone number was wrong. Discovered that when they couldn’t text me. I got the emails and later the emails and texts saying my furniture would be delivered on November 30. I called a number and seemed to be in another country. Was told my sofa would be delivered on the 30 between 11/2. At 10 o’clock I got a text saying I needed to schedule my delivery. So I called the same number I had the day before and could barely understand the man that was talking to me so I had to hang up and call back and got disconnected so I called back again and finally talk to a person I could understand and they checked my account and said that there was no delivery scheduled for my couch or my recliner. In fact, my recliner has not ever been ordered. Waiting a month and the last two weeks sitting on the floor in my living room because I sold the furniture that I had to make room for the new stuff. I told the woman that the man I have spoken to the day before said that my couch was due to be delivered this day. She said well she was sorry, but that wasn’t so. So I went up to the store and was standing in line by another man that was having the same problem. So it’s not an isolated event. Of course, no one was around to help like all supervisors are off that day or something was going on. You can never find one when you need it. The next scheduled appointment for delivery would be December 16. In the meantime I went shopping and found a couch that I wanted and it’s being delivered to my house this Friday. I have called and canceled my order, but of course the supervisor has to do that tomorrow when he comes in all I’m saying, is my order better be canceled without any fees, or restocking fees. Shouldn’t be any restocking fee since they never even put the dang things on the truck. They told me they’re going through third-party vendors to deliver, and they have been having trouble with them. Well, why not tell somebody that before they spend their money. And if you have that much trouble getting furniture delivered why are you open selling furniture that no one will ever get. It’s very bad customer service. I cannot recommend Ashley furniture to anyone. And I better not have any trouble canceling my order, Ashley furniture I know you see this, so you better make sure they do it right.

I needed to purchase a simple basic sofa for our camp. While I was there 3 different customers came in to complain The woman helping me was a little scatterbrained and couldn’t figure out the difference between a cash payment and a credit card application so I Decided to pay cash because it was much simpler, it took 30 minutes to get change. Found it funny she told me to bring someone to help load the sofa so I returned later with my husband and no one would Show us the time of day to load the sofa so we actually had to remove it ourselves from the showroom floor dolly it out to the truck and load it ourselves. The one male salesperson walked to the bathroom so he would not have to work or lift a finger. Found out later it was under new ownership. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with the store and would never return.

Horrible customer service……….purchased an $800 dresser. Waiting for guys to load it up the salesman comes to the car and says “the manager says you have to load it.” Me? A 180lb woman have to load up this dresser? “Yes, we have a new rule and we can’t load it.” Goes inside to speak with the manager…..Why wasn’t I told this before I purchased or before the salesman came to measure my vehicle to see if it would fit and I’m waiting for them to load it?? Manager: We don’t have that type of insurance. “I would like my money back now” I received a refund and will never again shop at Ashley Furniture. The only reason I put 1 star is because it will not post without at least one. They deserve 0 stars!!!
The great choices in furniture styles and function, the helpful and knowledgeable sales people, and the quality of the furniture has brought me back for the last 22 years and to this store for the past 5+ years.

We had to pay full price up front, then EIGHT MONTHS later a partial order shows up. But they DROPPED the table coming off the truck and broke it. The chairs that came were wobbly and scratched. We paid $190 for “white glove” delivery where they would set everything up, but the delivery guys refused to do anything and left the broken table in the box on our floor. Two weeks later there was supposed to be an exchange for all of it, but only 2 chairs showed up. Now two more weeks later we finally get the broken table and scratched, wobbly chairs taken away. The new table and chairs took NINE months to deliver. After NUMEROUS trips to the local store and MULTIPLE phone calls to the regional office, I have determined (1) Customer Service is virtually non-existent with Ashley (they couldn’t care less about you; they have your money), (2) the local store is a SHOW ROOM only (they know nothing beyond their four walls, and (3) the whole Ashley system is grossly inefficient. I don’t know how they have avoided bankruptcy. If you are reading this and work for Ashley, I advise you to go get a different job with a better company.

Sale was some what confusing!
Will NEVER shop them again!! People beware bought a "lift" recliner for my 95 yr old father...they delivered it 2 days late and then it arrived in a box, not assembled! They then told me I needed to pay someone to assemble, unheard off, anyway the co they recommended said two weeks til first availability! A friend then told me she knows how to assemble..so she did and chair is way too small and his head passed headrest, was assured chair could fit anyone. Anyway not suitable, tried to return 5 days later fresh out the box and they told me NO RETURNS...SERIOUSLY!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CHAIR WAS CHEAPLY MADE...👹

My experience at Ashley Furniture store located in Gonzales was and remsins horrific. Sorry to say that I know over five customers that had a similar experience. I was hit by Hurricane Ida and lost all furniture . Since we had great experience with Ashley in the past. We decided to return. Furniture was ordered in May and we had to cancel the order in August because it was NEVER delivered. They kept scheduling and not showing up. Guess what ? They are now attempting to collect payments!!! Read the reviews.. Buyer Beware !

I've had it with Ashley!! My daughter, a young first-time home owner, purchased furniture from the Pontchatoula, LA store on August 12. She was told the furniture was physically located in the regional warehouse in Gonzales, LA, ready for delivery. Since August 12th, she has received no less than 6 different delivery dates and many different explanations for the delays: It's in transit (from some unknown place). It's in transit from Wisconsin. All of the pieces arrived the warehouse, with the exception of one piece. The final piece arrived a week later, with a new delivery date. More recently, last week, the furniture is in transit, should arrive tomorrow. Monday, of this week, new delivery date of November 10th. This morning, the furniture is again in transit from Wisconsin. New update this morning, the furniture is in Houston. Do you see the pattern? I would dare say the furniture probably isn't even in the US, nevertheless, available for delivery on any foreseeable date. My daughter was lied to at the very beginning to secure the sale and the lies have continued. I get it -- there is obviously an issue getting the item imported from China or wherever it's manufactured . . . Just say so and give the customer the respect and opportunity to decide whether to wait or take our business elsewhere. I am very disappointed that this is my daughter's experience and we have vowed to never ever do business with Ashley again!! Potential customers, beware!!

Couch was supposedly “in stock” but when we ordered they quoted delivery to be the end of August, however, it was not delivered until the end of October. Trying to reach anyone by phone and get any information was impossible ! Really need to work on customer service after the sale !!

We finally got the coffee table we bought over a year ago!! It is ridiculous how long we had to wait for it!! From now on if we cannot get it when we buy it, we will go somewhere else! The delivery process was just as bad, but we didn’t have to wait a year to get, just a couple of months!!

We ordered a bedroom set. Took 9 months for delivery. Then we received the wrong nightstands. I contacted the store and they were going to send the correct items. Set up another delivery. They delivered the same exact INCORRECT nightstands. I went to the store and watched them order a new set that was supposedly correct to match our bed, dresser, and chest of drawers. Set up delivery a 3rd time. Still the incorrect nightstands!! I don’t understand how this keeps happening?!?! Why is ordering matching items for a set difficult?!?!

Good luck trying to contact this store over the phone. Doesn't matter what time of the morning or day, it will ring and ring then hang up. Paid for an item just for it not to be delivered with the others. Customer service also can't provide any other number and doesn't have an email. What company literally does not have an email? So I'll be making an extra 2 hour round trip to pick the item up. Thanks Ashley furniture

Ashley furniture Wow ya'll are the worst!!! Table got delayed and took months to Receive! Chairs arrived 3 wks earlier! We ended up purchasing a folding table and benches from Amazon to hold us over. Table delivered TODAY! We paid for shipping & assembly and the table is scratched. Then, the assemblers go to leave and I'm like, "Guys, there are 6 Chairs left to assemble." These dudes say, "We only bought the table so we only assembly the table." Me: "What? I paid for assembly for the entire order including chairs"🤐 Techs: "You have call this number for tech to come out to do your chair. We don't have tools for the chairs!" Me: "😂 Try another excuse. I have tools and understand how to use them."🙄 Techs: "We were only scheduled to put together a table." So, is there a required certification or magic, chair tools for these freaking chairs that I'm not aware of? Like, why would you as a company send out 2 separate crews wasting time and gas....and my dam time & patience.😵💫 Way to underperform & disappoint! SMH😵💫😕🤐🙄
Ashley has a huge selection of beautiful furniture on hand. I found exactly what I wanted, after Brittany showed me everything they had available fitting the description I gave her. I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for beautiful, great quality furniture. I will definitely be shopping for furniture there again.

I bought a dinning room table and mattress on July 16th as of today I still have not received either. They told us it would be delivered on August 3rd then it was August 17th. Then someone from the delivery department called and scheduled it for September 7th. Today they showed up without my mattress because it won’t be in for another month and said they couldn’t get down our driveway they need to send a smaller truck this is going on 2 months that we have not had a table to eat at. The customer service is horrible and you have to go the store to talk to anyone there. I will NEVER buy anything from them again!!!
Nothing more to say then wow! Michelle B. at the Ponchatoula location was phenomenal in every possible way! From greeting us to closing the deal on our new furniture set! Again, Wow!

I ordered an entire bedroom set on July 18. I was told that my furniture would be in on August 10. I knew that would never happen and of course it didn’t. They then said August 31. I have tried to call the store where I purchased the furniture and paid $4200 of which they have already received their money. The phone rings at least 10 times and then disconnects you. I have called at least 12 different times. The last time I spoke with someone that is not at the store they have once again pushed it back to September 7. This past Monday I personally went to the store and the sales person who sold me the furniture and I am sure who got a huge commission off of the sale met me at the door and told me that they know the phones are not working because several people have been complaining. She told me I had to speak to the manager Olivia. So I spoke with Olivia who told me that all of my furniture is on hold and they are waiting for one piece of the bed. And that it should be available on September 14. She also told me that she was going to try to call other warehouses to try to find that piece sooner and she promised me she would call me the next day. That was on August 29. Today is September 2 and I am still waiting for her call. And to the salesperson that sold me the furniture, I don’t appreciate how you couldn’t care less that I was there to see when I might receive my furniture that you couldn’t wait to sell me. But now do not care whether I get it or not. I would never recommend Ashley because they are very unprofessional and unconcerned. And what kind of business has their phones not operating for over three weeks and is still waiting for their IT Department to fix them? Really? I will be at that store again on September 14 and if they put me off again, they will be refunding my money. That is for sure. Very frustrated and disappointed since I have been sleeping on a cot for two months now. Never again Ashley.

when we bought furniture from Ashley they initially told us about 3-8 weeks bc of the furniture we bought didn't take THAT long, now tbe calls get sent to automated and it tells us anywhere from 8-20 weeks!!?? REALLY 20 weeks??? NEVER again Ashley!! I would RESPECT the truth more than a lie!! Coming from someone that was going to do more business with you, I would NOT recommend them bc of how they lie to make a sale!!
If I could give a 0 star I would. I ordered an entire bedroom set. For first delivery 3 out of the 5 piece we’re damaged. The way they pack furniture on the delivery truck it doesn’t surprise me. One piece was scratched and another one dented. One of the nightstands looked like a repaired piece and was not acceptable. They literally repaired the corner with wood putty and painted it brown while the rest of the wood is medium brown stain. The delivery guy left all the pieces and said they would have to swap them all out. Delivery swap day comes and they are 4 hrs late. The guys roll up in a small Lowes truck. They open the door and literally furniture is falling out the back and hitting my drive way. They tell me I’m the last stop. They pull my replacement footboard from the very back over all this other furniture and it has a small piece of thin cardboard on one section and is wrapped in clear wrap. They brought it too the door and I removed one side of the clear wrap that was very beat up to see that the entire side of the footboard is also beat up, dented and scratched. I asked them to put it back on the truck. Then he precedes to tell me that the other replacements are not on the truck. This isn’t Walmart furniture. Take pride in delivering to your customers what they paid for! Now they sent me a text telling me that they will be delivering on a Friday night 8:45pm. Horrible. So I call to not confirm but to change the time. The guy says he cannot help me and that the time has already been confirmed. He tells me to call the store which they will not answer their phone. He then tells me to drive to the store then. Wonderful customer service. So I’ll play they're game. If I’m home I’m home, if it’s damaged I’ll reject it till they get it right. I guess Ashley will figure it out when they realize they only got paid for one delivery fee.

Worst customer service ever!!! Bought furniture almost a year ago. It was broken when it was delivered. We’ve had work orders scheduled for almost a year. No one calls, no one shows up. Store and corporate offices won’t answer or return calls. The store refuses to take it back and will NOT refund our money. This company couldn’t GIVE me furniture at this point. Next step in this parade is billboards at the exits on both sides stating the above and a protest sign on the highway across from their store entrance. I absolutely DO NOT recommend Ashley. I left a more articulate review on Google, but I feel insulted to be asked for a review when you know the order has not been fulfilled (but paid in full). Here is me being flippant... Thank you for delivering a defective/damaged table. Thank you for not bringing ANY of the 4 chairs that I paid for. Thank you for having a convoluted, automated phone system that forced me to wait on hold. Thank you for said phone system that didn't allow me direct access to my sales associate. I'm not even concerned with repair or replacement at this point. Refund me and come get this bad product. I will not pay for shipping. That's more than reasonable as I should ask for interest since you had my money for months. I recently shopped Bergerhome as well. They beat you by a mile. Not a joke. This is sincere. Your product and service is less than desirable... Frustrated
Received a table today that was defective/damaged upon delivery. Still waiting on the chairs. Very dissatisfied. This in-store purchase has been paid in full (a long time ago), and I'm at the point where I just want to send it back and get a full refund. I would have paid more, but I wish that I had just gone to my local Bergerhome store instead. My experience with Ashley furniture is just frustration. I did contact Customer Service on this issue, but I have to wait for a technician. What is this technician to do? How does one fix a cracked beam on a table without first looking at the defect? Ashley should have just ordered a new table for delivery right away, and instructed the delivery crew to take back the broken one. This lackadaisical attitude frustrates me. I expected better from Ashley. One more thing... Why can't I speak to my salesperson? Why do I have to go through a convoluted help desk process. 1 OCT 2022 update - After seeking the assistance of corporate HQ, I was helped with this matter getting resolved. It should not have required me to reach out to the parent company, but I did receive the customer care that I was expected. The replacement table is a beautiful piece. I am not discouraged from purchasing Ashley furniture in the future. I assume this was just a bad mess up and customer service issues have been resolved.
I have tried calling several times on several days and you can't get anyone to answer the phone. when I did finally get someone to answer me they put me on hold for 15 minutes and no one ever came back to the phone. they were suppose to credit one chair back to my account and place the order for the right one and email me the changes. I called the center to find out the status of my order because they are the only ones I could reach and nothing has been changed. that's been two weeks ago
Do not buy from Ashley. They are lying about their delivery timelines and are permitting their sales reps to lie as well. Apparently, they have no idea where their inventory even is, where it's headed, how to track it, how quickly it's moving, or if it's even moving at all. Yes, the world is a mess. But it would be nice for them to be truthful about the situation. We purchased in-store on 7/3/22. Our sales rep lied about warranty coverage. She stated several specific "perks." After our purchase was finalized she handed me a folder. I opened that folder in the car to find a warranty flyer that stated the exact opposite of those verbal statements. Delivery time frame given was 2-3 weeks. Sales rep assured us that would be the case. "The delivery delays are over." Again - I get the folder only to see a highlighted note giving a 2-16 week window. I should have went back into the store to question all of this. Our delivery date has already been confirmed twice and pushed back 3 times now. 7/20 was the original date. Then 8/3. They then called US to confirm and "schedule" 8/3 as the delivery day. We were planning to remove our broken loveseat th evening before in preparation. (Broken loveseat is 7 years old. Also from Ashley.) Thankfully we didn't. I contacted THEM on 8/1 to confirm if the delivery was still scheduled for Wednesday, only to find out it was not. The new estimated date changes with every person we speak with. Maybe the 10th. Maybe the 17th. Now they're saying the week of 8/30. No one will tell me why it's delayed. Is the couch even here in the states yet? Is it on a truck coming from the Port? Is it stuck at the port? No one will tell me. It's just on "transfer." ...I have very little hope of actually receiving furniture this month. Our order details are also missing from our online account profile. I've spoken to several reps about this and they all ignore it. They just "update" me on my order or pass me to the next person who then does the same. I'm assuming Ashley prefers it this way. They don't want you to have access to your order details. Apparently, they want to keep you in the dark as much as possible and then string you along and spoon feed you information that may or may not be truthful or correct. One customer service rep even stated our delivery would be further delayed behind other orders because we're "far from the store." 🤦🏼♀️ We are NOT far from the store, but I guess it's good to know Ashley's delivery service is filling orders based on distance, not order date.👍 I should have known better. I should have read the reviews on Facebook and Google before heading to the store. I'm really annoyed I didn't do so and am really considering canceling my order. But I'm scared what chaos that may lead to!! The same sofa says in stock on their website with a 2-3 week delivery time. But according to customer service, it is not in stock. The chat agents also give different information than the phone agents

I wish there was a choice for no star. This has been my worse experience with a business ever. Please know that if you have a problem with any of your furniture there’s no customer service. I have been dealing with the store for a little over two months trying to get my damaged merchandise replaced. All they do is give you the runaround. When you try to reach out to customer service you get no one. Never again!
There were 2 prices on a piece of furniture and i was willing to pay the lower of the 2, but that was not an option
We will never do business with Ashley again. After waiting for nearly 3 months for a new mattress (stearns and foster EVERYWHERE ELSE takes only 3 weeks), being lied to and TWICE getting a dirty mattress in once it finally came in….this place is a joke.
My wife and I were looking for kitchen chairs and a couple of other chairs. Kevin greeted us and ask us if we needed any help. We let him know that we were just looking and if we found anything we’d let him know. Once we did find what we were looking for we let Kevin know and he proceeded to give us all the information we needed and we purchased five kitchen chairs and two other chairs for our living room. Kevin couldn’t have been more kind and informative.
This was my first visit to Ashley Home Store, I had done my research online and wanted to see selected items for my master bedroom in person before making a final decision. The store was nicely laid out and I was able to find the items I was interested in rather quickly. I wasn’t immediately greeted and sought out assistance once I had narrowed down my selection. Luck would have it that I spoke with Assistant Manager, Michelle who helped out tremendously, prices online were listed cheaper than in store and a price match was offered to accommodate my budget. I’d shop here again. Ask for Michelle for excellent service, she went above and beyond.

We placed our order November 2021, and our order is still incomplete. We have the dining chairs but missing the dining table. We received the couches, but missing coffee table. We received the bed for our guest bedroom, but it is missing the side rail therefore it is unusable. I have a 1 month old baby and a 2 year old, I just cannot go to Ashley Furniture personally and tote my kids, but I cannot speak to anyone when I am trying to call. Very inconvenient. I have been very patient because I know of the shipping issues, but this is really frustrating. I wanted to know the status of my order but I cannot speak to any representative. My siblings are trying to stay in my house to help me out, but I do not have bed for them to sleep. We do not have dining table, and it is very hard to feed a toddler without a table. I do not recommend.
you have to wait months to get your furniture and when you finally do, parts are missing and you have another long wait. your salesperson should tell their customers that they have no idea WHEN they can expect their order. I hate being lied to. 2nd time for me to try Ashley, don't believe there will be a 3rd.
I have made numerous calls...Gone to the furniture store... Sent facebook and Twitter messages and still no exact delivery date for 2 bedroom sets since June 2021!! A year and over a month. Horrible customer service!! Buyer Beware!! I am sick of being patient.
8/25 update...Ended up cancelling my entire order and requesting a refund after two days of back and forth with store manager and customer service on the phone I had to go back into the store to get my full refund. I was relieved to see a new face, someone I hadn't dealt with. She had my full refund within 5 minutes and I asked where she had been these last few weeks. She said she had just been promoted to customer service manager. Thanks for your help Olivia and I do hope that you can make a difference in this store. 8/15 update...Customer service here is horrible!!! You can't get anyone to help you. No one answers the phone. Store manager Michelle is of no help whatsoever. She gives personal cell phone but doesn't answer or return calls. Have had this escalated to a Escalation Specialist Brielle Griego, received one call to find out what was going on and never received another call or email even after reaching out to see if there had been any updates. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Buyer Beware, read the reviews on both google and their website page and you will see the frustration from many customers. It's not just the delay in shipping, I totally understand shipping issues but I do not understand the lack of customer service and this is supposed to be a reputable company. Higher ups definitely need to look into what is really going on here. 7/29 update...Must be an automatic response from Ashley to email or text because I did that before the original post and still have yet to get any response back to my email. Customer Service here is terrible. Went into store on 7/27 and was told by store manager they would check warehouse and call me the next day. I have left messages and nothing!!! Will give a few more days in hopes of resolution since I have already waited 5 months. I only gave 1 star just to be able to leave a review. Absolutely horrible experience. My husband and I went into the Pontchatoula store purchased a complete bedroom set along with mattress and boxspring. 5 Months now has passed and no notifications whatsoever on expected delivery. I have called 3 times to be told today that the footboard for my frame is unavailable therefore I will need to come into the store to find a replacement. 5 Months!!! No call from anyone, this is totally unacceptable and horrible business. Understood when I purchased the set that it would be a delay in shipping because of whatever the excuse was at the time..covid, manufacturing, delivery but the sales person Brenda explained the wait timeframe of 12-16 weeks and I was ok with that now it is 20+ weeks and now today I find out I cannot even get what I have already paid for and the only way I found this out was because I called. RIDICULOUS AND UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!! oh and you can't get anyone from the store on the phone. I had to call a different location to ask about my order.
The customer service for this store and company is a heaping pile of garbage. If you need to contact the store, good luck. If they say your furniture is in stock, it's probably not. If they say your furniture will be available on a certain day, it won't be. If you are lucky, eventually you will be able to speak to someone in a foreign country that barely speaks English. Then they will lie to you and just make up delivery dates to get off the phone. I'm canceling my order and finding a place that can deliver.

We had a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. The sales lady, Kathleen Clark, as well as the Assistant manager, Michelle Basil, we’re instrumental in helping us find the perfect mattress and adjustable platform. After waiting 5 months for entertainment center to arrive. It was delivered without all pieces. Had to pay for white glove delivery which wasn't the case. Carried in the house and left. Shelves on the counter. Now we need to wait 8-10 business days to receive parts. I won't be using Ashley Furniture anymore. Quick to sell receiving furniture are getting what you pay for is always an issue
Very pushy salesmen. Would not let me look at anything alone. The prices were ridiculous. You have to pick up furniture at their Gonzales location instead of this local store or pay an extra $100 for them to deliver it.
ordered a bed and foundation over 2 months ago Received headboard without footboard or side railings a few weeks ago **what do you do with only a headboard???. Now 2 days ago the foundation was delivered. Mattress still on floor without bed frame. Worst service ever received from Ashley. will think twice before purchasing from Ashley again. Hope fully i will get my bed frame soon or i will request a refund and purchase elsewhere ..Terrible Service when contacted you get a recording stating same thing every time .. "order not ready for delivery or it will be within 2 or 3 weeks...... . NOT ACCEPTABLE.

This has been by far the worst experience of my life. We chose to purchase our sectional sofa from Ashley under the assumption we were buying quality furniture. We made our purchase in December and now we are in July and I am still fighting with this company to get what I paid for. My sofa was delivered in February broken, torn and stained. I was misled by their delivery driver thinking he called in replacement pieces after I asked him to take the sofa back. He explained that wasn't necessary that he would bring the replacement pieces back once they arrive at the warehouse. He never made that order and as it turns out he likely isn't even an Ashley employee. I have been on endless hold when trying to speak to someone. I have texted and lastly I visited the store. I was never given the opportunity to speak to a manager and was given the run around time after time. When someone finally ordered replacement pieces I received a phone call, as I am sitting home from work waiting on delivery, that my replacement piece is also broken. They would need to contact me to order yet another replacement. The other replacement piece was never ordered. Once again I can not get anyone to speak to me. This sofa will serve as the centerpiece of my home and I promise as long as it is here every time my guests sit down on it I will tell this awful story of poor quality furniture, poor customer service and make every effort to insure they don't spend their money at this business on very poor quality products.
The furniture is perfect for the look I was going for. The delivery guys were very prompt and professional throughout delivery set up. Unfortunately, Ashley’s customer service and sales department did not meet my expectations at all. I ordered and paid for my furniture in full back in October 2021. I was informed that my furniture would be delivered in 2 weeks. After 6 or more different date changes per Ashley’s, my furniture was finally delivered July 2, 2022. Every customer service / sales rep that I spoke to lied constantly about the date my furniture would be in stock and delivered. They even told me that if I wanted my money back, that they would have to keep 10% because that is apart of their contract agreement that I signed even though I paid for the furniture upfront in full, with cash. After calling them every week, Ashley’s finally set up a delivery date in late February 2022. They sent my headboard and rails without the footboard, and the mattress without the box spring. I was told everything else was still on back order. I had ordered a headboard, rails, footboard, nightstand, dresser, mattress set, vanity set with bench. Yes, I refused the furniture and informed them that my home was not a warehouse or storage unit for Ashley’s. This furniture was for my 10 year daughter and I was not about to risk her getting injured due to Ashley’s unprofessionalism. I have purchased from Ashley’s in the past and was satisfied, but that was 12 years ago. I strongly do not recommend Ashley’s Furniture to anyone. It’s not worth the wait and the quality is just basic.

I ordered furniture on 5/8/2021 and still have not received it. I have been told several times I would receive it on a specific date. The date would come, no furniture. I am beyond aggravated. I would never shop at this store again!! Over a year and I am still without furniture!!
Total rip off! Purchased $3k of furniture 5 years ago and $230 protection plan. Was told I would have store credit for the $230 if I didn’t use the plan. Here I am 5 years later being told that I can use the credit IF ITS 35% PERCENT OF MY PURCHASE!! I was NEVER told that I could use the credit unless I spend over a certain amount. So basically I wasted $230 on the plan unless I buy another $700 of furniture. CON ARTISTS
We went to Ashley Furniture in Covington on Memorial Day to shop for furniture. We had relocated and our stuff is not here yet. We are living in an empty house. We explained that to our sales person who was standing next to a pylon that said "IN STOCK". She proceeded to sell us an "IN STOCK" sectional and a mattress that has the lifting mechanism for the base. We were told the mattress was "IN STOCK", but the base would have to be ordered. We were promised a delivery date of June 2nd. We are quite certain that the sales person used the "IN STOCK", and the promise of the "white glove delivery and assembly service" to make the sale, knowing full well that we were not going to get our merchandise when promised. My husband called the store to talk to the sales person, and was referred to somebody else who was quite rude with him. He was told we might be able to get the furniture on the 17th. This last week he contacted the store again, and was told that the furniture was in the warehouse, but they were not going to be able to bring it out until the 3rd week in July. During this time his truck had arrived, so he asked if he could go to the warehouse and pick it up. He was told yes he could.He contacted the warehouse yesterday to confirm that our product was indeed in the warehouse and ready for pick up. He was assured that it was there and ready to go. He took the day off from work, and we headed to the warehouse in Gonzales where the furniture was allegedly housed and ready for pick up. It took 2 1/2 hours to drive to Gonzales. When we arrived at Gonzales, we were told that the furniture might be on the trucks that were going to be unloaded that day, but there was no way of knowing for sure. The lady was nice enough, and said she would call my husband and we could come back and get it. I am not sure if it is just this store that operates with no integrity, or if Ashley furniture has just gone down the tubes and they all just lie to make the sale. We purchased furniture from Ashley 20 years ago, a whole house full which we just sold before we moved. It was great furniture, the owners were the best, and we were extremely happy with it. It is too bad to see that this brand name has just gone in the toilet. We do not recommend you do business with these people unless you want to be lied to on so many different levels. I cannot speak to the quality of the furniture, as we have not seen it yet. We would have made a different buying choice had we been told the truth from the beginning.

Michelle was outstanding. She was exceptionally professional and had rare longanimity(A+ in this business). My wife and I were in Ashley’s store for a few hours (actually longer than that) because she couldn’t decide which sofa set to purchase. Of course I got hungry and told my wife we need to leave. An hour or so away from shopping, we came right back to Michelle. Michelle is definitely the type of person for this job because she didn’t act like a salesperson nor did she follow us all over the store. She was there when we needed her and she did OUTSTANDING! Michelle put herself in the customer shoes and with sincerity gave us her honest professional opinion on several options. Glad we made that purchase on the sofa. Best choice we made. Thanks Michelle. We will be doing business with you again…Definitely!

Delivery, service after the sale, and follow through on what they claim they will do is terrible! This used to be a top notch organization. Tempur-Pedic bases used to be high quality and quiet units. Now cost more, do less, and make lots of noise. Very disappointed especially for the money spent!

Ashley Furniture Story is the worst customer service in the world . I spent over $11500.00 on furniture and even addressed the issue of 4 months to get furniture or longer and the manager Brian Kellum ensured me that that was not an issue any longer , so I ordered my furniture 35 days later still no furniture , was informed July 18 through August 15 should be sent out . Called store and manager to cancel order but no return phone calls , emails or text messages . Went into store and cancelled my order and was told would be returned to my account in 48 hours , that was 5 days ago . Been calling, leaving messages and texting , no return anything , called Corporate and customer service and been on hold an hour then hung up on . This is the worst service and customer service from such a large company , , no stars no comment about the worst customer care and am now calling an attorney . The Ponchatoula , Louisiana store is not even worth the price of Tylenol for the headaches they have created .
The purchase experience was OK. It was a 30% off everything sale that only applied to one of the four items I purchased, one was 10% off and two were not discounted at all. The delivery was bad. The salesman promised me they would haul away an old mattress as part of the delivery fee. When the new mattress was delivered the crew would not take the old mattress because it was not on the invoice. After 3 calls to customer service I was told removal was an extra fee regardless of what th salesman said. Once again I believed a salesman, my mistake. I will not shop at Ashley Furniture again.

We have had a terrible experience at Rooms to Go ( charged for merchandise I never asked for or received, and never refunded, despite about 50 phone calls). They really saved me money with their low interest financing and specials. I would highly recommend this store and Ashley Furniture!!!
This is NOT an Ashley Store, I love the Furniture that took me 6 Months to get all the Pieces.... Not Pleased with the Explanations they gave me every time I went in to Question, Where is my Stuff. Will Never do Business with this Particular Store Ever again.

The store sells beautiful furniture. However, their communication and customer service skills are TERRIBLE! It’s so incredibly hard to even get someone on the phone to speak to about getting any answers or resolution. I even spoke to a manger (took her a full day to actually call me back) whose response to me was “our associate wasn’t able to SAVE your delivery date” even after I asked to keep my delivery date. We ordered furniture in August and have gotten pushed back 9 months. Now they aren’t even bringing my furniture when it was scheduled for delivery! And the manager told me that it would be a few more weeks before they could reschedule my delivery. It’s literally an impossible situation and im beyond disappointed/frustrated. I hope no one else has this experience with them
Very poor service. I have been given multiple arrival dates for furniture that is supposedly in the Houston warehouses. Had I known it would take 2 months instead of the 2 weeks I was told, I would have shopped elsewhere. Unfortunately, I ordered more furniture thinking and believing arrival dates quoted by the Hammond staff. Still waiting!

I ordered a bed on Black Friday. They delivered it on February 24th. The guys who put it together said the bed was missing hardware. I called customer service to find out when the hardware is expected to arrive, when will someone be back out to complete the setup, and let them know the guys who were putting the bed together scratched the footboard. Customer service's response was they didn't know when the hardware will arrive because whoever put in the order didn't set up a tracking number. Then they said they set up for someone to come and inspect the scratch on the footboard. ( which come to find out they did not) Long story short it is March 24th and no one has come to finish installing the bed. I've called 3 time and no one has been any help. I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again!
We went to the store February 12th. Were told multiple times that the furniture would be delivered in 2 weeks(we asked specifically because we have out of town company coming). The delivery date has changed multiple times. Last date given was March 23rd. Called today and was told it will be at their warehouse April 13th. They said Feb to April is not long...that some people have to wait 6 months! I said the wait wasn't the biggest complaint, them lying to me is! They said my options are to wait or cancel my order! Also, when we filled out paperwork for financing, the saleswoman (Brenda) told us that we had 4 companies who would finance with zero interest. We chose one and that company is listed on our sales papers. However, we have received 4 different credit cards that were opened that day-all for Ashley Homestore. (We had to call individually to close them and it negatively affected our credit). I will never do business with this store again! Horrible experience! UPDATE: STILL NO FURNITURE ALMOST 2 MONTHS LATER. The response from the owner says to call or email. We're still being lied to. 2 weeks ago they said it'll ALL (entire set) be delivered May 11th. Today we called and they said only the bed frame and night stand will be delivered on the 11th. More lies. Zero concern for customers. The ONE person I've been able to get an email response from 2 months ago no longer responds to messages. Such a headache!!

Just left Ashley Home Store in Ponchatoula, LA. If there was a way to nominate my salesman, Kevin Patrick, for ANY kind of award, he CERTAINLY deserves it. He was incredible! Very knowledgeable of the products and the process. He gave some advice on what to do, what to look for all while saving us money. Those that know me know that I shop around for products and honestly, Ashley Home Store was the last place I went due to several reasons; but Kevin restored my confidence with his honesty and integrity...mixed in with a sense of humor. We most enjoyed the staff at Ashley NOT hounding us like used car sales people. A staff employee greeted us, asked if we needed help, and once we said we were just looking, we were left completely alone. I hate pushy sales people. There was none of that at Ashley Furniture. We found what WE wanted, found the sales person, and that was that. Thank You for not following us around or trying to rope-a-dope us. That trust in our own decision making went a long way with us.

Sales woman gave me a delivery date for a mattress that was in stock at the warehouse. That date comes and no delivery has been scheduled. Manager states sales people can’t set up delivery, yet she did. Alternate dates offered do not work for me, so I chose to cancel the order. He insists they will charge 10% even though contract clearly states, “you MAY be charged 10%”, which one could assume meant if you special ordered an item. He says everyone gets charged 10% and “it’s worked very well so far”. Fortunately, Visa felt differently. Buyer Beware!!!
I purchased an in stock mattress on January 17th. The sales lady offered me delivery on Saturday, January 29th. That didn’t work for us so she offered Saturday February 5th. That didn’t work either so I asked, “Is Saturday the only day you deliver?”. She said “no, you can get it any day.” So she stated she could have it delivered Tuesday, February 1st. Great! On Tuesday February 1st, I had received no time frame or contact about delivery. I called the delivery number and it stated I was scheduled for Saturday, February 5th. It gave me alternative options which did not work for me. I called the store and asked for the salesperson who happened to be off and then the manager who apparently did not want to speak to me initially. After discussion ensued I told him I just wanted to cancel the order. He insisted I would be charged 10% and stated that sales people can’t schedule delivery and then tried to say Covid was responsible for delivery mix up. That was ridiculous considering it could be delivered several days that didn’t work for me but neither of the ones that would. The contract states “you MAY be charged 10% for cancellation”. If it had been a special order or something not in stock I may expect that. According to the manager everyone pays 10% and that “has worked out very well so far”. There are many furniture stores, so please choose carefully. Thankfully Chase Visa has stepped up.
Do not purchase anything from this place....they have horrible customer service and no one knows what the heck is going on...they ALL give you different answers, even if you call two times in one day....I had a chair /recliner for two weeks, it broke and I'm still waiting since December 4th for them to give me a decent answer to replace the chair!!!

Store devoid of customers. Staff sitting around. No special sales considering its Christmas. Tried to sell us a torn mattress hidden by a spread. It seemed it was a privilege to buy a clearance display mattress that was damaged. 750$ for a damaged mattress that requires customer to pickup within 3 days. No way! Remember a clearance item doesn't qualify for delivery. Item is left on store display and no one in store helps with pickup. Pathetic, do not buy from this store.
I won’t be buying furniture from here again. My fiancé and I placed an order for living room furniture (coffee table, sofa table, and end table) back in July and was told they would be delivered in 2-4 weeks. We then placed an online order 2 weeks later for a dining table and was told that would be delivered in 2-4 weeks. The dining table was delivered as promised, but the living room furniture has STILL not been delivered as of December. I went to the store in person to inquire about our order and was told two of the tables were in but the coffee table was not due to parts being shipped overseas, which I totally understood. I was then asked if I wanted the two tables in stock to be sent the following week. I agreed. Next week comes around and no message nor phone call was made, nor were the tables delivered. Another week goes by and I decide to call to inquire about the order. I was again told that two tables were in stock and that they could be delivered to me the following week. I never received a message or call and no delivery was made. The next week I decided to go BACK in store to see what happened. I was then told that the two tables had be REMOVED from my order somehow and that I’ll have to wait ANOTHER 6 weeks. I was asked if I wanted to order something else instead which I declined. My fiancé and I are moving into our apartment next week and we really wanted all of our furniture there ready for us but Ashley’s had other plans. Needless to say I won’t be buying anything from them again.

I purchased a sectional a little over a year ago. At the time I was extremely happy with the excellent experience I had while in the store. I spent a lot of money with the assumption that i was getting a quality product... Not in this case. Due to me being young with a limited credit history, i had to have the sectional on one purchase order and the ottoman and end table on another purchase order, with insurance on "both" orders. Fast forward to now, my couch is falling apart... Some pet damage, but the majority is deterioration of a sub par, and overall poor product. Come to find out they only attached an insurance plan to the ottoman... WOW. The CS lady apologized and I didn't give her a hard time because i know it isnt her fault. The sales women took advantage of my youth, just told me what i wanted to hear to get her comission and get me out of the door. Chalk this up to a lesson learned. I will NEVER return to ashley furniture and wouldn't even recommend it to my own worst enemy. Infact if i'm ever in a conversation with someone about furniture I will go out of my way to talk about this horrible couch and God awful experience to make sure nobody I know makes the same mistake I have. Money wasted. Lesson learned. Dont waste your time at this business, shop local.

I bought a bedroom set in September and was told I would have everything in 8 weeks. Its been 3 months and I haven't even had my mattresses delivered. My bed frame won't be here till March. Thats 7 months after I ordered it. No one even tried to contact me to let me know it would be late. If they had even given me a heads up that there was an issue I would have been ok with it, but no one even tried to help me with any issue. They hung up on my husband 5 times before we were even able to schedule to deliver the mattress. I have a lot of furniture to buy and definitely won't be going with them.
Ashley 2 days before thanksgiving CANCELLED my table delivery. They never called and told me that they were going to cancel. After waiting all day for them, I called and I was told "oh sorry", you can go and get it. When I demanded my delivery charge back if I have to drive 2 hours for my table I purchased 2 months ago, they hung up on me. This is the first and last time I will ever get furniture with this company.
Ordered furniture in July was told some will be in being of Aug the remaining in end of Aug beginning of Sept. Specifically asked for items that were in stock and could arrive within at least a month…. long story short I only received one item the rest I cancelled beginning of this month after getting the run around several times and finally being told my order will not arrive until next year sometime. Ended up having to order from a different furniture store and was able to get it in within a week.
Ashley Home Store at Robert LA was great and had just what I needed at a great price. The service was super as a sales associate met me when I walked in the door and within minutes I had what I wanted.
I will never visit this store again. I walked in and walk around this entire store with my mom and not one person acknowledged our presence. I assume that they assumed we couldnt afford to buy there. Idk what they thought or maybe they just didn't see us. Or maybe just maybe we wasn't wearing the right skin color.🤷🏾♀️😒
Went in store to purchase King bedroom set, after selecting set, we needed to purchase the mattresses. We could not agree on fit, soft or firm. We were told oh this is done all the time, as far as going with duel mattresses. We were shown 3 and told to try each one and select. We did this and set up delivery. Low and behold they are delivered, once assembled we realize that the firm sits 2 inches lower than the soft. And this works how for a king bed?? Since then it has been a down hill battle with the customer service department, sure that is not this stores problem, but this is where it started. I have made purchases with Ashley in the past and still need to finish putting furniture in our recently flooded home, but will be moving on to another store....not Ashley Home stores, period. Needless to say the king bed set is cancelled as well.
I don't write bad reviews often as my history shows. But this situation deserves nothing less! Went in to Ashley furniture in Ponchatoula Louisiana to buy a king mattress. Wife and I did not agree on firmness but planned to settle in the middle. The sales rep stepped in and said we did not have to compromise. We could get 2 twin xl mattresses and have the firmness we each want. I asked a lot of questions as I was skeptical this could work. The rep assured us they do this all the time. We reluctantly agreed. What we actually received was far different from what we were promised. One mattress is over 2 inches taller than the other. Also they are 2 different levels of quality then the mattresses we were interested in. We call the store the next day and was told there are not returns at the store level and would have to call Ashley directly. So well call Ashley cust care. The agent agreed to allow us to swap one mattress for a store credit. Problem is that what we were told we were buying does not exist. So we called cust care back at the store only to be told there is no help for this situation. Asked to speak to a Mgr and was told I would get a call back in 20min. I then found out cust care closed at the time I was talking to the agent. Did not receive a call back. Called the next day only to be told the same thing. NO HELP! In less then a year I've spent near $10,000 with Ashley and currently have close to $4000 with a deposit of $300 in lay away we were going to pick up this week. NO. I will cancel that tonight! This is the last time my money will be held hostage by Ashley furniture as i still have not received my power box for my sofa, recliner, and recliner sofa from almost a year ago and now this new situation.
I ordered furniture in May. Part of it was delivered broken. I’ve been waiting 6 months now. No one in the store will help me. I only get emails when I reach out. I feel like my money was taken and now no one cares. Very frustrating. I’ve never experienced not being able to contact a real person to help with a problem.

It has been a hard time , but well worth of finding the PERFECT dining set that I purchased at Ashley HomeStore. Just finding the right color to blend with the sofa. Most likely it will turn out nice. Futurewise, I will purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture.

I have a very poor experience with this location and will never give them my business again! I reached out to my sales rep after expecting my mattress to be available for pick up on a specific date and she ignored my texts and calls. I went to the store and she hid the back and was very unprofessional. I will now only give my business to the Gonzales location.
After an extensive search, we found exactly what we were looking for at Ashley Furniture. Our sales lady, Melanie, AKA “Old School”, was kind and courteous and didn’t hound us as we shopped through the store. She was easy to find when we had found what we were looking for and knowledgeable about every facet of our questions. Highly recommend!!
Our salesperson Brittany was willing to spend time with us answering all questions about the couch we were looking at. She has admittedly only been on the floor alone for a few days and was very upfront about that.

I will not buy anything from Ashley Home Furniture again. Bought new power sofa and it broke before it was 30 days old on July 7th. Today, October 14th and it still hasn't been repaired. I have called 14 times since it broke. This is ridiculous. They didn't have any problem taking my payment for the sofa and the extended warranty but service is no service after sale. Someone is supposed to call today to schedule to come out to repair. Will update if they actually call me back.

Been waiting a few months for bunk beds for my daughters, we finally get to the point we want to cancel. They ask what they could do to get us to not, so we agreed to a discount and free installation. So they finally come drop the bed off in 3 boxes, they only opened 2 and claimed that they didn’t have the hardware to put it together. Of course all the hardware was in the box they didn’t opened. We have called for multiple days for them to come back and actually install like they were supposed to. To be told we can install it ourselves or cancel the order. This is the worst place to everrrrrrr order from and this will certainly be the last time we do any business with Ashley furniture!!! Completely unprofessional!!!

The Sales Representative doesn’t know the products, she would rather talk about “The Big Lebowski”. We get no follow up on our purchase. We paid for our Sofa over a month ago and still haven’t received it. Poor customer service. The outside of the store has dying trees and not welcoming. The outside of the store is covered in bird feces. I will never shop here again.

******UPDATE May 2022**** We purchased our furniture in August. The sofa set arrived DAMAGED around the end of October. Our bedroom set didn’t arrive until February (after being told it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive.) When the damaged couch was delivered to our home, the driver told us he took pictures of the damage.. He called his manager and w we were told we would get a brand new couch since the couch was damaged & missing the plug. We told the driver to just take the couch back. We were informed that Ashley’s was going to pick up the damaged couch when the new couch was dispatched to be delivered. However, it is now MAY, my husband has called the Ponchatoula store several times, made visits there & even called corporate, but to no avail. He was told multiple times that an inspector would come out to check the couch; that never happened. My husband was told last week that someone would come pick the sofa up and our set would be reordered. We were supposed to receive a call by Friday; well it’s Tuesday and still nothing!! I pray your experience isn’t like ours.. the initial visit to purchase was pleasant but afterwards has been horrible.. August 2021 (original review) Ms. Cori and Ms. Olivia were very helpful today! We were very satisfied with our experience! No questions were left unanswered and we left with everything we were looking at! Ms. Cori made sure that we were able to get everything we needed/wanted without making any disappointing compromises or being placed in any uncomfortable financial situations! I ordered a king size bedroom set on June 3rd, was told ot would take 4 to 6 weeks to come in, called after about 4 weeks, was told it would be july, called in july, found out they gave what was mine to someone else, and then told it would be August, August gets here called several times with all different dates, last one i called 2 weeks ago and everythingwas supposed to be here August 21st, called today and now they are saying Sept 1, said they would do a partial delivery but it would take 72 hours to call and set up a delivery date and then would call in another 24 after that, I just want my bedroom set that i ordered back in June

I will NEVER order from here again!!!! I placed my order on6/27/2021. I based my whole order (mind you for an entire house) on the delivery date that I was promised. I was told all of my furniture would arrive on July 21,2021. I did get a delivery on this day as promised with no railing for any of the beds and my entire king bed set missing with just a mirror delivered. The order that was promised on 8/4/2021 did come as well. This delivery again only came in pieces. I have called every week about my order. I spoke with Brian the manager at this store and he informed me that he was taking over my order and he guaranteed me that it would arrive today 8/18/2021. NO DELIVERY TODAY…. I have now contacted anyone that I could have and have been informed that I may not get my order until September and that 2 pieces of my furniture isn’t even on the order. I have been on the phone for over 3 hours today and nothing is still being done. I’m not sure who else to contact but this will not stop.

Customer service is terrible. Getting my furniture to be delivered impossible. Went to store on 7/25 and was told two piece are in and can be delivered. Gave me delivery date of 8/5/21 called delivery and delivery had nothing checked when furniture would be delivered got a date of 10/31. Went back to store and was told nothing is in but scheduled to come in around 8/15. ( now that is after the store told me two pieces are in and can be delivered). So if scheduled to come ( allegedly) in 8/15 why delivery told me 10/31. A whole bunch of misinformation from all personnel at Ashley. Just tell the truth this is going on 3 months already. Will never buy from Ashley furniture again.

We had a great experience with Efren at Ashley. He helped explained mattresses to us and got us approved for everything we needed. He checked on us a bit (definitely being sure to make a sale) and he did just that! Can’t wait for our pieces to come in!

By far the worst experience I have ever had with purchasing furniture. The customer service was horrible! I placed an order back on June 6th and paid over $2800 for a sofa set and was told my furniture would arrive on June 26th. On June 25th I called to confirm that my order was going to be on the 26th and was told that my order wouldn’t be in til July 2nd or 3rd. I called again on July 1st to confirm that my order would be in on the 3rd and was told that the date changed to July 10th. At this point I was very frustrated and upset bc not only did the dates keep changing, no one told me that the dates could change when I placed my order and they got my payment!! When I was on the phone with the the customer service reps, I was shown no kind of empathy as I was frustrated and they precede to just say “all dates are subject to change”. If I had know or the expectation was set at the time of the sale that the dates could change or the shipping could be delayed then I would’ve understood that. Not only does they dates change but there NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE CUSTOMER that the dates have changed and we are left to keep calling to follow up/ check on our order. If I wouldn’t have kept calling I wouldn’t know anything about my order. Here’s we’re things gets worse.. I called the store to speak with a manager about this matter and was placed on hold for an extended period of time until I got tired of waiting and hung up. I called back to the store a day later and was placed on hold again and still no one answered. I called back to the customer service line on July 9th and was told my order wouldn’t be in until July 16/17th. I called back to the store as I’m even more upset and asked to speak to the manager, I was placed on hold for another 25 minutes waiting to talk to a manager and still no one came to the phone, I couldn’t continue to hold and had to hang up. No one from the store ever returned my calls, EVERYTIME I called the store I was placed on hold and no one came to the phone. I called back to the store on July 12th and was placed on hold for 16 minutes until I got tired of waiting on hold yet again. After being frustrated and tired of calling. I went to the store today July 15th and talked to the Assistant Manager, I was told everything for my order is in but not scheduled for delivery. After looking in the system the earliest date for delivery will be July 22nd (ANOTHER WEEK), not only do I have to wait another week.. He was honest and told me they seen that I’ve been calling and that I’ve been put on hold EVERYTIME I’ve called but they didn’t pick up to talk to me because of they way my phones caller ID was displayed, unbelievable! I asked to talk to The store manager, he wasn’t in and was on break. I asked to have him call me when he returns but doubt that I will be getting a call back since they haven’t returned any of my other calls. This blows my mind!! This is a terrible way to treat a customer, I will not buy anything from Ashley’s again!

I will never buy furniture again. The salesman in store & purchasing process was great. Delivery started out fine then has been a nightmare, we’ve had 6 attempts at delivering an end table, 2 were damaged & rejected upon delivery, 3rd attempt—because the order was in as an exchange, the delivery driver literally drove off with our table without explanation, 4th attempt, they didn’t even show up even though we waited all day, 5th attempt arrived at warehouse damaged, 6th attempt, they are missing pegs for the inside shelf. Depends on who you get in customer service, some are nice & seem helpful, next call you get totally different information. Some deliveries we scheduled never happen. No one calls you if you need to “reselect” an item bc it’s no longer available, I had to call to ask about it. I’ve left voicemails for the actual store, and asked customer service to have the store call me & they never do. I guess I will actually have to drive up there. It’s ridiculous. And I’m sure I’ll get one of the automated responses to this review but nothing with get done, just another “put a ticket in or send a message” no one actually acts upon the issue—- if they did I would have gotten a phone call by now. Just save yourself the months of hassle.

First of all they said we would have our mattress within 10 days then they give us a delivery date 30 days later and then we sit here all day waiting they said the delivery would be here between 945 and 1045 we waited all day made several phone calls no one knows how to get in touch with the delivery driver delivery driver did not call and no one knew how to get in touch with the delivery driver the worst customer service ever and then you couldn’t even get in touch with the people that works at the store
My initial sales person was great. Then I was charge $190 for doorstep delivery when my invoice $0. Given the run around and no one could help. Terrible customer experience. I can go online and get the exact same thing quicker and free delivery.
The store and people are fine. But first off the prices online don’t match the instore prices. So if you don’t have an experienced sales person you could end up paying a lot more of they don’t price check the items with the online prices. Second, the dates they give you for delivery are just garbage. I’ve been waiting months for furniture that was supposed to be delivered two weeks after purchase that I already paid in full for. I call every week and they always tell me they can’t do anything about it.
I will never buy from Ashley Furniture ever again. It has been almost year and I am still having issues with customer service. My sofa was delivered in on Christmas Eve, December 2020, at 5pm and was defective. I called Ashley numerous times for months and wrote down ever conversation. Someone was supposed to be calling me back but never received a call. I finally went to the store in March 2021, to get some answers. After talking to a manager they agreed to replace my sofa, the delivery date was supposed to be in May. I checked each month for a delivery date. Last week I received an email to schedule a delivery date, which was today and an hour before the time they were to arrive to deliver my sofa they called to cancel due to weather. 😡. Now I have to wait for them to reschedule the delivery date and who knows when that will be. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE A CUSTOMER OF ASHLEY!!!!!!!
Wrong sofa delivered, trying to resolve with store but promises of call back that never comes. Customer service consists of being put on hold for extended time then disconnecting...repeatedly. or being told that I have to call the store but no one answers the phone.

Don’t waste your time ! We went there for outdoor furniture and were sent to a dysfunctional tablet to look up furniture as the saleswoman walked away. She brought us a catalog and walked away again laughing as the tablet said no outdoor furniture found. Then ran after us outside to get her 1 catalog back.

I shopped quit a few furniture stores when I was looking for my living room set, I found Ashley to have great quality at very a resonable prices. I wasn’t impressed with their competitors selection, nor prices, not so at Ashley. Walking into Ashley showroom floor, I found just what I had in mind which no other store even came close. In my search for my living room set, I thought about buying a piece from one store then another piece from another but came back to Ashley because every thing I was looking for was there. I’m very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend you not run all over the creation when you can find what your looking for in one store.

We contacted Ashley as requested by the Ashley response to my review. We did the work and provided what they needed. Nada. Nothing. Zip. Zero. If this isn't how they do business then why are there so many reviews with experiences like mine? They were sending out a "technician" to make the stuffing for the pillow. We received a box of one of the components but not the rest and not a human to take care of it. We were expecting the one side table ordered the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to arrive today between 1:15-4:15. They called at noon and bc we weren't home they canceled the delivery. We were grocery shopping so we would be home during the three hour delivery window!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE unless you want to experience a stellar display of poor business practices and overwhelming ineptitude. In which case Ashley is your go to.
The buying process was so easy and quick. I was very impressed with our salesperson Cori’s knowledge of the products and the helpful hints she shared to keep my new sectional looking at its best! I was even surprised that I was able to get a better deal in store than I could online. Now we anxiously await the arrival of my new sofa!

My fiancé and myself had a great time while shopping for our sectional couch. The woman that helped us and checked us out was a pleasure to work with. She had an answer for every question that we had and provided us with all of the information that we needed to secure our purchase. I do not remember her name, but she was great. However, as we were leaving the store, we became upset with one of the employees. I said “thank you” to Brad while we were on our way out of the store. His reply: “you just costed me money, we get paid by commission and you costed me my commission.” My fiancé and I were upset by this because we just showing kindness on our way out of the store and we were treated with disrespect and unprofessionalism. Other than what Brad did, we were highly appreciative of our time in the store. Thank you
Terrible!!!! I waited two months to get my furniture. They kept pushing delivery date back. Then, when it was delivered, one of the bedroom sets had no hardware so the bed could not be assembled. Now, the hardware has come in and they are now saying I will get a call within seven days to pick a date for them to come. Absolutely rediculious! I paid 175 for them to assemble the furniture and I will never order from them again. I also saw a female arguing about her furniture as I was completing my order so my incident was not just a single occurance. She was still waiting after months. I asked my saleswoman if it was a common occurrence and she assured me that it wasn’t. Well, it is a common occurrence. Multiple people at my place of employment informed me of the same thing happening to them. Do Not purchase from this place. My experience at Rooms to Go was far better. I had absolutely no issues there!

I purchased a $3200 bedroom set early April. I was told it'll take 3 weeks. I checked on my order status was told June 15. Called today and was told July 1. This is totally ridiculous! Then have the nerve to charge me fees if I cancel. Like really?

I found what I wanted online and called ahead, my salesman Efrem Brown helped me start my order fast so that when I went to the store all I had to do was pay. He also price matched it for me saving me over 500.00 so all together it was a great experience, and I’ve had some bad furniture shopping experience especially with Furniture Mart so please Do Not Buy anything from that company, Ashley is the way to go!!!

EDIT: Every week the order gets pushed further and further back. We are now being told mid July and I have no actual belief in that date either. I will NEVER purchase through Ashely Furniture again. I won't even buy their brand through other stores. This is a disgrace. Purchased a couch and a loveseat and were told the couch would be delivered in 4 weeks, but the loveseat wouldn't be available until the first week of June. Fine, at least we could get 1 piece. Here we are 8 weeks later and now I'm being told June 10th for both pieces and even that date is subject to change. So not only did they lie about 4 weeks delivery for the couch, but they are pushing the estimated delivery back even further than originally stated. I get there have been ongoing issues with delivery, but they should be upfront. Don't lie to customers to save the sale. 2 months with no couch in my living room and will be at least another 6 weeks.
My experience was one of a kind today. Ms. Olivia really did an outstanding job. She was thorough, patient, and very kind. She was also knowledgeable and walked me through everything and had me very comfortable with my decisions with my purchases.

At this point I’m very disappointed in their delivery time. I was told all my furniture pieces (living room set) would be in by the middle of April and I just called 4/13 to check on it only to be told that it won’t be arriving until May 26! I ordered this set on March 6, 2021. This is unacceptable!!!

We’ve been shopping for a long time for the carpet in living room set to replace the one that we have now. We walked into Ashley’s home store and the salesman immediately went to work. He was not high pressure but yet he kept giving us advice from his experience. We ended up buying exactly what we wanted today. I will definitely come back to this place when I need more furniture.

No one will answer the phones and its constant run around. It's been a nightmare. Also don't trust "Boots"! He'll give you his card with his "personal cell number", but it's all lies. Calling customer service is a complete joke. I hope Ashley furniture falls off the face of earth and straight to the agonizing pits of hell!
Their customer service is unprofessional and rude. The furniture is low quality and not worth the money you pay for it. if you buy furniture from them and you have issues and it is still under warranty, they will not honor it.
We went to look for a specific sofa to see if it was comfortable, the salesman was friendly and knowledgeable. And the buying process was just as stress free.

Called and was told they had recliners in stock. Drove 1 1/2 hours and get told at the store that they have to order them because they don't sell straight from store. All furniture has to be ordered. DON'T waste your time.
Worst customer service ever! We bought a sofa and recliner back in March 2020. Got it delivered in May. We noticed a rip in the sofa cushion this month. Our sofa is still under warranty and we have tried numerous times to get the service dept. to send out someone to repair it. Even spoke to someone in the Corporate office. 2 service orders were set up. No one has ever come out to fix the sofa and we were never contacted us to say that no one was coming out to fix it. We have always had to call to try to resolve this issue with nothing getting done at all. As I have said previously, their Customer Service is the worst!! I will never buy anything from Ashley Homestore ever again!!
I purchased a sectional sofa from Ashley Homestore in Pontchatoula, on January 2, 2021. Our sales rep. told us to expect delivery around January 31st. We have not received texted updates at all regarding our order, as was stated on the back of our sales order (You're Gonna Love It! section). Since we've never received an update regarding our order, we've called customer service many times since then. - February 2 - Call to customer service. Everything is in except the wedge piece, which will be in on February 11th. - February 11 - Call to customer service. Everything will be in on February 16th. - February 12 - Call to Pontchatoula Ashley Homestore. Spoke with my sales rep who said it was not something that she followed up on. - February 16 - Call to customer service. Everything is in Baton Rouge, LA. - February 19 - Call to customer service. Asked that we give it one week. Expect call on Wednesday, February 25th regarding delivery on Friday, February 27th - February 25 - Call to customer service. They should be calling us today.- February 25 - Call to customer service. The wedge isn't in, but should be on March 2nd. Asked to be referred to a supervisor in Dallas. Waiting on call back. Order cancellation is imminent. This is beyond unacceptable.** Update- I called on March 2nd to check on my order. Item still isn't in. Call back on March 9th. I emailed Ashley from their response to this review, which included an email to a different company.
Will never shop this location ever again. I never realized that trying to get a single piece of furniture delivered could cause so much stress. After being cancelled on the first attempt, rescheduled for NO ONE to show up, rescheduled AGAIN only to be told not all the pieces arrived. How can you schedule delivery for items you never received?!? Trying to speak to anyone on the phone is virtually impossible. NEVER AGAIN. I would rather take up wood shop and build my own sofa and probably would get it faster than waiting on this delivery. Customer service is awful!!!!!!!! Wish I could give 0 stars

The store was set up in a way that just flowed. I thought I knew what I wanted but after looking around I realized I had more options. Our salesperson, Ms. Viviano was extremely helpful and friendly. She looked everything up to make sure of the delivery dates and helped match a recliner. She checked on a sofa I wanted but they no longer carried it. She checked all our options. We were relieved to fine out that there was a warranty that covered many of our concerns, such as spills and staining. We purchased the warranty with no hesitation. I will definitely shop at Ashley’s for my next purchases.

I went to Ashley in Robert to buy living room furniture. I picked out a nice set and in the beginning had a very helpful sales associate. He assured me they would price match the online sales price. When we went to the desk to purchase the furniture, the sales associate told the lady about the online deal. After 20 minutes of sitting there, she came back to tell me that she could not do the 10% President’s Day additional discount. First, she said it was for first time online orders only, then she said it could not be used with additional offers. I showed her my online purchase and that they did in fact honor the sales price and the 10%. She furthered argued that it is not what it said. After I got frustrated, I said I would just order it online and started to walk away. The sales associate threw the pen on the desk and just walked off. He did not utter a word to me or my sister. He was visibly angry. The lady then, in a very low voice, still arguing over the 10%, said she would honor it. At this point, I nicely said I will order it online and left the store. I am very disappointed in the staff and the way things were handled in the store. They should invest in better staff.
After going to several furniture stores in a radius of over 75 miles searching for a leather recliner I found what I was looking for at Ashley Home Store. Sales staff was very knowledgeable and most accommodating. They made you feel comfortable with your purchase almost like you were family. I highly recommend the McComb store.

Worse experience ever.. purchased my furniture in January.. 2 pieces were delivered in march.. I was told my bed would be delivered on April 22nd.. That date passed so I called and was told May 18.. ok that's not that far out right.. so may 17th comes and I called to check on delivery only to be told that my order was cancelled and no one could tell me why.. So today I called and they're telling me September.. Imean if my order wasn't cancelled til late the product should still be there right.. sounds like something isn't right to me,, but I refuse to wait another 4 months and honestly if my furniture isnt expedited and here within the next month I'm completely done with Ashley's and want a full refund.. I'm sick of them.. they barely answer the phone when you call.. They're no help then they want to constantly push back your furniture order. I won't be ordering anything else from them..

My sales associate was Cori Bruno. She was awesome. She was very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and she gave us a great deal on our bedroom set that I could've never got anywhere else. Only downside is I wasn't offered the protection plan an it totally slipped my mind. An set arrived last week an I noticed a crack. But of course that part was on delivery. But yes Cori is awesome.
They were delivering a bunk bed and 2 mattresses I also bought a sectional sofa because it was on sale, even though they were delivering bunk beds, they wouldn't deliver sofa, had to rent a truck for 100.00. Then they have rescheduled delivery 3 times and have yet to receive the bed and 2 mattresses. They also messed up my credit application. They should allow me to receive a rug or a night stand. I was so tired when coming to purchase my sofa recliner set and nothing she said was misleading or distracting to my task. She worked with me and went over all of my options financially very patiently, intelligently, and even made me laugh in the process. Horrible experience.. I ordered 6k worth of furniture in mid November. I was told by the sales person everything should arrive around Thanksgiving worst case a little after. As of mid January, customer service is saying March. They'll say what you want to hear to get the sale. And the person monitoring these reviews is not the owner, it's a customer service team that can't connect you to a manager. Don't waste your time, cancel your order and go anywhere else.
I was met quite quickly by Cori Bruno my sales person. I went in the store with a specific item in mind. I was told Ashley furniture does not carry this type of item. She did explain to me that she did understand what I was looking for and it is just not sold here. Honestly the type of coffee table I am looking for has been quite hard to find. She was quick to answer my questions and was very helpful. Because she was being so helpful I did purchase an item that I didn’t need at my house. A bed frame.

ordered in November. gave no indication that our order was not in stock. the sales person left us the impression it would be delivered in the next week. after not hearing anything for a month, I called to inquire about the status. it was at this time I was told that the headboard won't be in until February 12th, but the rest of the order could be delivered end of december. fast forward to January 1st, still no update or delivery. we stop by the store to inquire about our order and we're told it was in transit and set a delivery date of the 6th. the 6th came and passed, no notice. we call again, they say it will be delivered on the 8th. my wife wants around all day, no delivery and no call. I call again today, the 9th. I am told the order still hasn't arrived and it will be the 13th. I was told that if I am not contacted 2 days before expected delivery, it hasn't arrived yet. then how have they given us 3 delivery dates when it hasn't arrived yet, and told us 2 days before over the phone that we should expect it on this date. there is no follow up on their end. I would cancel the order but I would have to wait longer if I went anywhere else, as this order was placed almost 2 months ago. will not be purchasing again. on top of this, we got the protection plan on a couch we bought a year or 2 ago. low and behold, a couple months ago we call to try to claim it and they tell us the company was sold and they can't honor the plan. thus we are out another 100$.
The worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Been dealing with the same order since October. Manager will give you his business card but does not answer the phone. Tell me that this makes sense!

I gave them 6 months and 8 last minute, canceled deliveries. I guess I have no choice but to post this. I’d give zero or negative starts if possible. I understand delays because of COVID but this is beyond ridiculous. We’ve repeatedly missed work, school, etc to rush home to a cancelled delivery.
We went in looking for a new mattress and Corie was absolutely wonderful!! Allowed us to try out different ones and explained the difference with each. Corie is definitely a "sleep guru wizard" and understood exactly what we needed in a mattress. Corie is very knowledgeable in the different brands, why one brand may be better for our needs than others, can describe the material and technology behind each matress, and didn't make us feel pressured to buy (although we did make a purchase)! During our time at Ashley's while Corie helped us, it didn't feel like we were talking with a salesperson- it was like an encounter with a friend who genuinely cared that we needed a better matress that met our needs.

Great customer service. Our sales person met us on his day off and took the time to help us make the right purchase for us. We were not followed around the store like at other places we shopped (cough R2G cough) we were allowed all the privacy we needed to make our purchase yet our sales person was on standby and answered all of of our questions!
We ordered a $3600 bedroom set on July 5th and as of today, Dec 15th, we still have no hardware for our bed. Not only that, but I have made 26 phone calls to try to get said hardware, and I have been lied to, hung up on, transferred, and over all given multiple explanations and false answers. I’ve even been sent THE WRONG HARDWARE TWICE. I’ve also sent 4 emails to 4 different departments/people and never once got a reply. It’s an absolute joke that a company this large can’t resolve this and the level of frustration that I’ve experienced trying to get this handled cannot be out into words and will forever and always be underrated. I urge you to go buy furniture from anywhere besides Ashley. And if Ashley furniture happens to read this, I’d like to speak to the owner of the Ponchatoula Louisiana store and the District manager as well as GET THE HARDWARE FOR MY BED. Ordered bedroom set Aug 26. Received headboard panel and footboard panel Sept 19. 2 dressers in Oct and everything else minus one nightstand Dec 11. Delivery guy opens box and finds slight bend on bed railing hook, easy fix. Nope he’s says can’t go any further, have to return entire bed and order new one. I’ve waited 4 months for furniture that was paid in full up front and as everyone in these reviews has said “ can’t get a response from anyone “ unless I go in the store and raise hell. I will make it my mission to make sure no one else I know or in my area buys from this store. This has been a horrible, ridiculous and the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a company. Also, when you call the phone number : pick option 3 and ask them to transfer you to the store, that way you don’t have to wait an hour to get no answer from customer service.

Horrible customer service. 2 sales representatives stated that my piece of furniture would be delivered by December 10. Come December 10 they state that it was only going to be manufactured by this date and would not be delivered to the warehouse until February 4, 2021. This is unacceptable I would not have spent the money that I spent knowing that it was going to take this long to arrive to my house. Will not be back to this place to buy any furniture.
Thought it went well. We looked at the exact same bedding at the main competitors just minutes before. The experience was much better at Ashley and we purchased. Much less pressure which appealed to us. Sometimes too much salesmanship is a turn-off.

Hard to recommend when you ordered furniture in May and it is now November and you are still missing a major portion of the bed you ordered. I realize there are delays in manufacturing due to covid; however, 6 months should be enough time to get it to a customer that has been waiting, getting calls with delivery dates that get rescheduled at the last minute and the store refuses to make you whole by any means. You just get told repeatedly that it’s the manufacturer’s fault and the store has not recourse. Hello! It’s an Ashley store selling Ashley furniture...try doing the right thing OR be HONEST at the time of sale! Just disclose that your order may get delivered to you within the next year instead of 1-2 months. This is ridiculous and this will be the LAST time we purchase through Ashley’s Homestore!!!! Buyer BEWARE!!!!

BUYER BEWARE!! Do not purchase this protection plan from Ashley Furniture or anyone else offering it. It’s not worth it. I was told at time of purchase from Kris Barthel at Ashley Homestore in Ponchatoula that if our dog chewed our couch again this would be the plan to cover it. Well the repair company is saying she gave me incorrect information and they won’t cover it. Somebody needs to make this right.
I will never again make another purchase from Ashley Furniture! Before you buy any furniture from this place please read the reviews and make sure you join the Ashley furniture complaint groups on fb. After you read the reviews you will think twice before making a purchase with this company. I received my table and chairs on September 22 and I received a unbalanced table and 2 broke chairs. We are now in November and I still have damaged furniture. This has been a very stressful nightmare and you can’t get in touch with anybody. Please go read your reviews before you make a purchase.
Store was laid out well. Pricing had an opportunity, but they were working with limited staff due to Covid. Sales person didn’t really have the time to sell as she was those only one on the floor it seemed like. But I’d give them a thumbs up for the world situation we’re in!
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The only advice I can give anyone who is in the market for purchasing new furniture, is RUN away from Ashley HomeStore!! This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Just don’t do it, guys. Go somewhere else!

Nice when making the sale, and they promise delivery in two weeks, six weeks later no delivery and it is impossible to get anyone on the phone. Its now been over 8 weeks and still no delivery, and no communication, the Covington, LA 70433 Ashley Furniture has the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. They are selling furniture they do not have and they cannot tell the customer anything but they do not know what to do.
I was told 3 times that my mattress would be delivered and they just never show up. Today they did not even bother to call and confirm or cancel, they just don’t show up. In the last 6 months dealing with them I have NEVER had someone even answer the phone there to help me. I’m so disgusting with Ashley Furniture!!!!

I have to agree with the previous post—buying from Ashley was a terrible experience and I don’t plan to buy any more from there—already cancelled my appointment to buy a whole house of furniture. Other stores were honest about delivery time taking longer due to Covid—however Ashley's sales person (cb12) said it was not an issue. Ordered early September received in November. Knobs missing off cocktail table—after 3 phone calls to customer service I was told it was discontinued and part could not be ordered. I did not pay a discontinued price and was told it was a new piece. Salesperson was questioned because we wanted to order matching pieces when we did our house order. The store must be under new management because it is definitely not the same excellent service in the past.

Had a good experience in the store, but when it comes to delivery, customer service, and follow-up, forget about it. Ordered a sofa cushion 3 months ago. They said "It will be here in two weeks." Waited two weeks no call, no show. I had to call to get another delivery date. Again same thing. No call, no show. The third time I called I get a "guarantee" that it will be there, again same issue. I called for the fourth time and the new company blames it on covid. However, if you look back at the reviews this was happening before covid. So what's the real excuse? How can a company stay in business like this? So now they have my money and the sofa cushion I ordered. Their policy is if you cancel you get penalized 10% return fee. Maybe I should get my lawyer involved next.
Terrible terrible terrible. It’s lie after lie with this company. Don’t expect a delivery in a “timely” manner. If anything you WILL get a lie told to you making you THINK it’ll be delivered in a timely manner. BUT that’s a lie. They’ll just keep pushing the delivery date back until you finally cancel the order due to frustration. You end up losing money and on any piece of furniture you had ordered.
Horrible customer service. A 1 year old recliner metal frame broke in half I have been calling for over a month with no response, then finely spoke to Brian K. He said he will personally send in a work request and I should hear within 48 hrs. Well it's been a week and no call back. Once more they haven't picked up the phone or returned my call. I will never buy here again
We ordered a sofa, loveseat, arm chair with an ottoman early September, around Labor Day. We were told it would be 6-8 weeks to ship, which was fine cause most places are similar with the COVID-19 pandemic. I received an automated text message stating that my furniture would was ready to deliver and to select a date: Oct 15th, 16th, or 17th. I selected the 15th, since I wanted it as early as possible and took off that day. Another message stated that I would get a time frame within 25-48 hours before my delivery. I never received a time frame and my furniture was NOT delivered on the 15th. I received another automated message after I called the delivery department twice, stating that I would “tentatively” receive my furniture on October 20th. So now, I went from selecting a date to just accepting the new date that they gave me. Fine, I took off the 20th to wait for my furniture. I called to CONFIRM my delivery with ALL items for the 20th and the operator told me the time frame would be from 5:00pm-8:00pm - this was on the 17th. The 20th comes and we waited, no furniture. No messages or calls to state that it would be delayed. I called today, 21st, and two different people from the delivery department told me it would not be ready until November 19th and the other date was December 3rd. Which is it? Why call to confirm my delivery for the 20th if it was not ready? Delivery in December 3rd would be DOUBLE the allotted 6-8 weeks they previous told us. I call the customer service department and all they told me was that "we do not see any confirmation for the 20th, just for November 19th." This is the first time I've heard this date. I will not waste my time or business waiting for a delivery that may or may not be coming WEEKS from now. I had to schedule for a cancellation and refund in 24-48 hours... which that have not contacted me about yet. So our options are canceling the set we’ve now waited 8+ weeks for or wait another 8+ weeks to “maybe” have it delivered.
I have bought a lot of furniture over the years from Ashley, but this last experience has been a total nightmare!!!! I am just so disappointed!!! We ordered furniture in July, and we were told 4-6 weeks...3 months later and we still don’t have all of our furniture. The customer service has been terrible. When you call the store doesn’t answer, or when you call in to speak to delivery or status of order you will wait 30 min on the line only to be hung up on. Then you call back and wait another 30 min praying you don’t get hung up on again just to find out what’s going on with your order. Every time you call, you will waste hours of your day just to speak to someone and then get a different answer. I have been stood up on a Friday night. Confirmed the delivery time, and then no one showed up. I called that Monday morning and no one had an answer. When I called a few weeks ago, the lady said she could take $159 off for set up fee just for my inconvenience...meaning I would still get the service but the fee taken off, right? Wrong! So on the second delivery, the guy said, oh I can’t set it up because they took the fee off. I tried to explain to him that I still get the service but they took off for my hassle. So what does the delivery guy do, he lies...he says oh your table is already put together you just have to open the box. Yeah right. No, I took pictures, it wasn’t put together already. Ridiculous. So I tried calling the store that afternoon, but guess what? That’s right, no one answers the phone. I called yesterday to explain what happened to see if I could get some inconvenience fee since the fee they took off was pointless since I didn’t get the service anyway, and the girl said let me speak to my supervisor...she came back and said are you ready for this....that because it was 2 deliveries ago she couldn’t do anything. She said I would have had to call by the next day. I said that’s a crock, that’s just bad customer service. Lies, lies lies. I told her, I did call and no one answers the dang phone!!!! This will be my last purchase from Ashley! I bought a whole dining room set a few months ago online from another company, and it was delivered in 4 weeks. I prefer to do business with people that will not lie and treat you with good customer service. If you want the same, then you won’t want to do business with them either. Run far away.
Wonderful until you purchase then the disappointment begins. Waiting and waiting for furniture that will never come. Delivery dates push back. Who knows at this point when it will come. Based on the other reviews, it will be broken when it gets here. Which will start entirely new round of disappointment

This was my first time purchasing a piece of furniture in my life. Vince was very professional and made us feel comfortable as we looked around. My girlfriend been wanting this specific couch for a long time and today I was able to help her get it! I look forward to purchasing more items from ashley furniture it’s was an unexplainable feeling!

When we ordered our sofa set (4 pieces) we were told 4-6 weeks before the delivery due to the pandemic. Understanding this, we were ok with that. After calling the distribution center (because the store would NEVER answer the phone) I was told three separate times that the sofas were delayed. Knowing other people ordering from other furniture stores, and receiving their furniture in a timely manner, I asked about why mine was taking so long. I was told that it was taking a while for them to “catch up” . After 12 weeks, and delivery date being moved again, I cancelled my order. Not one person apologized to me. I would suggest that you NOT order from this company... unless you like waiting 3 months for your furniture.

I love the furniture, but I can't get through to customer service. They're extended warranty is not recommended. There is no way of knowing if they will honor it.

Was told 4 weeks for my furniture. I&'ve been waiting 7 weeks going into 8! I have been trying to call multiple times a week and no one answers. I called the corporate office and they said my order doesn&'t exist. I already paid for it in full....
Service was very helpful in choosing some new options for me and my sisters room. The man we talked to was also very personal and made he feel as if I was talking to a friend, not a salesmen. Unfortunately because of COVID circumstances we were not able to get our furniture for 4 weeks. I would recommend this place regardless though. Very good service!
After waiting 3 months for our sofa and loveseat we finally received the text to schedule delivery, i called and scheduled for today only to find out that my furniture wasn't even in and is not expected until October 23rd. We got rid of our existing set because delivery was confirmed for today! You can't get anyone that helps in anyway on the phone so I guess I will be going to the store to make a scene tomorrow. Terrible place to order furniture from, horrible customer service!

Ordered furniture over few months back.. got an email and spoke to someone on a delivery date, took off work for that day.. no delivery. Finally speak to someone get a delivery scheduled for the following week. Get email to confirm for the new delivery day and has all of our purchased items on the list. Get a text morning if delivery, all items on list, so I confirm. Delivery gets here, his list has no mattress. Can’t get any one to tell me where mattress is or what’s going on. Terrible service.
Man! I wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing anything from this store. Our sales person was fine but the delivery and customer service is terrible. The only possible way to talk to someone is if you have 10-15 minutes to waste on hold and if you get a voicemail box you might as well not leave one because you won’t get a call back. Some of these reviews saying the same thing have been going on for years? I could copy and paste 90% of these reviews as my own. We have a delivery date change 4 or 5 times in the first month and always after someone is already waiting at the house for the items. One of the changes we were told it changed from August 21 to August 24 and then on the 4th of September that it wouldn’t be delivered and then 10 minutes later we got a text message saying your order was going to be arriving. The buffet table and 2 chairs. The table,another partial, was supposed to be in yesterday the 11th. Didn’t happen. Now it’s all supposed to come on the 17th guessing that won’t happen.

I am furious. I bought a kitchen table about two months ago from here. It was supposed to be delivered 11 days ago and has still yet to come. The delivery days keep getting pushed back, it is now the 4th time. I am so appalled by this. I have called several times since the new days will not align with my schedule, but they continue to be no help. They constantly transfer me and I keep getting several different answers. When I try to call, it is difficult for them to even pick up. I have called about 20 times today and have gotten no response. I am so disappointed in Ashley HomeStore. I have gotten no help from anyone. I have paid the full price of this table and can not get a refund. I have even gone into different stores to try to figure out this situation. I keep getting transferred to corporate and they claim that there is nothing they can do to help me. I am shocked that such a major company would treat their customers so poorly.

*EDIT* After posting this review Ashley Escalation contacted new. Well they acted concerned and like they were going to look into the overcharge. Well that was all talk apparently Cause absolutely nothing has been done. And she told me I would hear back ASAP. If I could take away the one star that I had to give I would! Buyers beware!! After going into this store and making a purchase I noticed on my invoice that they overcharged me for an item. I called back to talk with the sales person and he was rude. When asking him about the overcharge he said to me and I quote “I DON’T MAKE UP THE PRICES” and hung up on me. Prior to him hanging up I told him about the overcharge and that I would go to a different location(meaning another Ashley location) that won’t over charge me and he said I can come back and get a refund and said the above comment and hung up on me. I called and spoke to a manager which was absolutely NO help. I’m going to contact corporate next.
Nice furniture. Better quality than most local stores. Unprofessional. Overly priced. Rude. I find it unfair that the consumer has to bargain down to get the “real” price on furniture. For those that pay sticker pricing because they have no idea.... Shame on them (the store). For those that do negotiate and bargain down because they did their homework.... the salesman shames you. THE absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced. These people will not answer the phone...so, a month after ordering our furniture, I stopped by and spoke to the supposed Manager, Brian "Boots" Kellum, and explained, I would love to get an actual date that my furniture would be delivered....as you can't get anyone to answer the phone. Brian "Boots" Kellum explained, that they were a Franchise, and that their staff was so busy, they just couldn't get to the phone calls.....so busy in fact, that I watched 3 sales people standing around visiting with each other. So Brian "Boots" Kellum, gave me one of his business cards, and asked that I call his cell directly....If he didn't answer, leave a message, and he would get back to me as soon as possible....well, Brian "Boots" Kellum MUST have been busy with those imaginary customers as well, as I left no less than 3 messages, to which O were returned. So, we finally get a text saying our furniture is tentatively scheduled to be delivered on 08/28/2020, and that we would be contacted closer to that date to set a firm date of delivery to my home....today is 08/26/2020....still no call....spend a couple of hours trying to contact someone, in an attempt to get an answer.....been hung up on by their system 5 times....tried contacting Brian "Boots" Kellum, again to no avail....just about ready to stop by their Pontchatoula store and tell them to cancel my order.....I cannot understand how a business can stay in business like this, with employees that care no more for their customers than Brian "Boots" Kellum does. He even wrote on the back of his card, "No delivery fee and 25% off of the order", for the trouble and signed it....I'm sure this is as big a NON TRUTH, as was him saying, "Leave a message....I'll call you back".

This has got to be the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. To start, we ordered over $6000 of furniture for our new house back in April 2020. At the time of purchase we were told we would have our furniture within 2 weeks. Well after almost 3 months had gone by we had only received half our furniture and half of what we actually had was damaged. After at least 100 calls or more, with maybe a handful of the calls actually being answered I finally convinced the manger Lisa Phillips to come pick up the furniture from my house and give us a full refund. We kept a bedroom set for my son which was $1371 and had everything else returned. The returned furniture was picked up a month ago on 7/15/2020 and here we are a month later and another 100 phone calls and they still will not credit me back the money for the returned furniture. I had to make 2 trips to the store in person because no one will ever answer the phone and once they finally do they don’t have a clue how to resolve what should be a simple problem. Please do not ever do business with Ashley Furniture In Ponchatoula, La unless you want to deal with what I have gone through over the last 5 months with them. My next option is to file legal action because no one will resolve the issue.

The store itself head ton of different styles and options. If I were building or buying a new home, I would certainly think that I can furnish it entirely with the options that are available here! The sales persons were very informative, kind and accommodating. The only reason for only four stars is due to the lengthy amount of time that had to be spent waiting to complete the sale. I selected/purchased one chair (cash purchase) that was a nonrefundable/final sale item, with no warrantee or add-ons or extra options that would’ve called for paperwork or running of credit, etc. from the moment I confirmed wanting to purchase the chair, it Took approximately an hour before I was able to carry it out the store and put it into the car. Just seems a little excessive for a single item that no warranty/etc. would be applicable.
The Sales Rep. was very helpful & patient. He took out the extra time to go online and locate the exact color of the items we wanted. We’re going back for additional purchases.

What a horrible place to do business. Will sell you everything but never deliver and there is no way to get an answer or change the order without going into the store again! Spent 5 hours there first time with multiple interruptions while trying to buy multiple large pieces. No communication, no apologies, and nothing delivered except a box spring with 20 minute notice they were on their way. Never again. Buyer beware. Sales person’s email on their card is invalid, call the store, wait 15 minutes to be disconnected without being answered over and over again. No one can help...ridiculous.

I went back to the store to let them know that I wanted an exchange, they told me there was no problem to go ahead and choose another one. I chose another brand and they promised to deliver the mattress in a couple of weeks, three weeks went by and no show. I called the 1800 number and they told me that there was no delivery schedule therefore there was no exchange set up on my account, that Greg (the salesman) never requested any exchange, I was very disappointed thus I chose not to make any more business with them. Vince was wonderful and patient with my family while choosing our new furniture. The showroom was neat and the displays were neatly organized. The prices were reasonable and the furniture is of great quality. Will definitely return.
If you are fairly conservative in taste and like to decorate with ideas from Pinterest (and I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with that), you will likely find a lot to like here. If your taste is more modern or contemporary, nah. Since I fall into the latter group, I left without a sofa or anything else and headed over to RTG, where they had a few interesting things.
Bought furniture over a month ago for a new house and was told “o ya everything in stock”. Still waiting!!! And tried calling 19 times and no one would answer just got hung up on! Please do not BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. O and here is great part........5 days for a refund so now I can’t go buy anything new because they holding my cash. Absolutely horrible. We bought from them once before and finally received our purchase after a month and a half after we were told two weeks and then our full order was not delivered! So then we thought they just had a bad day and bought from them again and delivery was on time but they did not come with our couch after we were informed that it would be delivered and to have the loving room cleared so we got rid of our other couch! Went to the store spoke to a manager who was extremely rude and could care less and was more worried about finishing a text instead of helping us! We asked for our money back for the couch. They supposedly credited it back but we are still charged with the couch and every time you call you are on hold for ever and sometimes the line just hangs up on you! It’s absolutely ridiculous! DO NOT GO TO THEM!

My wife and I were willing to wait as long as necessary to receive our full order. Once available, we scheduled our pickup and made plans to be home. The furniture was delivered 3 hours early, causing us to leave our plans early. Once the furniture arrived we did not receive our full order, even though the entire order was listed in the enail. We have a mirror with no dresser, and a headboard and footboard with no rails. We can’t sleep in our bed and now our bedroom is essentially a storage unit of useless parts that do not function unless whole. After 30 minutes on hold with no human contact I’ve given up and have to drive into the store to find the rest of my order.
While the staff was friendly, we never received 2 items for which we ordered and paid. No calls, emails to update, explain, or refund the purchase. Finally had to go in to store and was told the items would be available in 2 months (after already waiting 6 weeks). Of course, blame everything on COVID-19, but it doesn't explain why no one contacted us about the problem.
If you want good quality furniture, definitely go to Ashley! All reps are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want for your home.
Worse experience ever was promised a delivery date of June 27 sat home all day waiting to find out there is no delivery date set up was told someone would call me back in 24 to 48 hour which has not happened yet. Called sales assistant and she also told me she would look into and call me back the next morning that was Saturday and still no call Monday I get ahold of someone and they said it will be delivered August 20th When I said that was unacceptable they hung up the phone Trying to get in touch with someone is impossible I called the Manger at the store twice and still no return phone call when I finally get someone to answer my call I plan on canceling my order and will never order from Ashley again and would highly recommend no one going thru them

6/26/2020 UPDATE: As BGraham requested, I sent the information as requested. She answered me two days later informing she was sending my case to the Escalation Team and if I don’t hear from them in two days to let her know. I did NOT hear from the Escalation Team, so I sent an email again to BGraham. Her response: I’m sending your case to the Escalation Team again. So here it is 96 hours later and still NOTHING. I HAVE CALLED, gone by the store, sent emails, and NO ONE will give me an answer about my mother’s order placed over six weeks ago. My mother is 76 years old and has dementia. When we were given the original delivery date of 6/11, we got rid of her old furniture. She has now been with no family room furniture for over two weeks now!!!! ORIGINAL POST: Ordered furniture for my mother four weeks ago. They said it would be two to three weeks for delivery. I was sent an email last week setting up delivery for today and was told I would be given a time 48 hours in advance. I received no time. I tried calling the store and got a recording saying they were closed. I called the delivery number provided and was on hold for 20 minutes and then they hung up. My husband went to the store this morning and was told he had to call the 800 number, that they could not help him. After being on hold for 25 minutes they answered and said my mother is not getting her furniture today and they don’t know when she’s getting it! They could offer no explanation for why they set delivery for today but didn’t call me to tell me it wasn’t happening. All they could do was read their script. Oh, and if you want to cancel, they charge a restocking fee. To restock what? They don’t even know where the furniture is or when my mother will receive it.
I don't hate this place BUT..... the sales people are not the best and getting something delivered is a joke! I ordered a new bed with new mattress and all. It got rescheduled twice, no notice was given that the mattress was not available leaving me to wait only to call and get told it was not available until later date. Horrible break down in communication with warehouses and items availability.
I needed a dresser because we were updating our bedroom with white furniture. Ashley Furniture in Ponchatoula was able to match the online price and give us free delivery within 2 weeks. I knew on the date of purchase what day it was being delivered which helps a lot with making sure someone will be home. The staff was helpful and polite and my experience has insured that I will definitely come back.

Purchased a couch back in April and the sales rep told us it would be delivered on June 9th. We never received a confirmation text or call (like we were told we would) and no one even showed on the 9th. I have called repeatedly and no one picks up. I called Ashley’s corporate and they told me this was something that had to be taken up with the store itself. He then proceeded to tell me “We can’t deliver an item we don’t have”. This couch wasn’t even available in the warehouse for the scheduled delivery date. Not to mention my friend and I had already taken off work on June 9th, so we missed a day of pay for nothing. For no one to deliver my couch and no one to keep communication open. This was absolute trash customer service and I 0/10 would never recommend Ashley’s. Save your money and go elsewhere. Only thing good about it was the nice delivery guys.

We recently ordered furniture that was supposed to be delivered the following week . We tracked our delivery and the date and time given to us changed from 4:00-8:00 pm to 10:30-11:00 pm . We thought that was late to be delivering but we waited up for it and no one showed up and no one called to say they didn’t plan to show ! The following morning I contacted the number on the tracking to be told that the delivery people wrote that “we” said it was to late to deliver and to come back at a later date . That was a LIE ! No one contacted me and I am the contact ! How hard is it to to pick up the phone and just say sorry we won’t be delivering today after all ???! Easier to just lie in your report ?? Now today I get a message that my new delivery date is not until the end of next week ! Really ? Bad Customer service Ashley Furniture . You just lost a customer here !

Don't expect a refund from this company if you cancel your order. All you will get is the runaround. Five phone calls later and no results.
Sales lady was extremely rude and hung up on me. I Was given a price of $715 for a bed on clearance. A few days later, they said it’s not on clearance anymore and could not be sold at the price they quoted me. I will never shop here again due to the rudeness of the sales lady.
Toni was very knowledgeable and helpful. She gave me space to browse the store on my own but was always near if I had a question. Overall I am pleased with the experience and excited about my new purchase.

I had been looking for furniture for weeks and all over town and Ashley Furniture had the perfect sofa and loveseat for me and my family. Their living rooms sets are very nice quality and the financing options were great. I found the set I wanted and a salesman helped the entire time I was there and within an hour the whole process was done and went smoothly. I was gave a delivery date that is within a two week time period and I am very excited to have our new sofa and loveseat so quickly. I would recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone looking for great deals on furniture.

Tony my salesperson was fantastic, but there was no one to help get things to car and truck. We bought a whole clearance package and they said they would get to door. They only had older women there. I am 56 and carried the furniture from showroom around other displays. My daughter helped but was totally appalled at the customer service available.

Bought a dresser from here and was told I would get it in 2 weeks due to it being on the top shelf. I agreed. Bought it on December 26th 2019. Fast forward to today May 14th 2020. After calling every week, 2 times a week, for 18 long drawn out weeks. They tell me every time that it will take 1 more week until they can get a certified fork lift operator to get it down off the top shelf. That never happened. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with them. I was always the one calling in to get updates, they where never calling me to follow up, customer service is non-existent. I talked to the store manager named Ashley and she was no help whatsoever throughout this process, I reached a dead end. Hands down the most horrible service I have ever experienced in my life. Piss poor service to say the least. Please, stay far away from this store. They have been holding on to my money for 5 months and they are still telling me that its available and I will be recieving it. I requested a full refund today. I should have got my refund earlier, but this matching dresser was the last one available in the state to complete our existing bedroom set. I had high hopes to eventually get it. Called Cory at the front desk and shes been asking everyone that works there why I havent received my dresser yet, she said no one can give her any answers. Almost 5 months of complete nonsense phone calls reassuring me that they are "working on getting a fork lift driver" to get it down from the top shelf. If you can't find a fork lift driver in 5 months, there is something really wrong with this place. If I could rate this company -5 Stars, I would do that. I will never be buying here again and will let everyone know that this place is nonsense. Very ridiculous. In the time it took with the money I already paid, they could have trained someone to operate the fork lift. Now that I think about it, I question their integrity, do they even have this dresser at all? Or was I being lied to this whole time?

I will never shop with you guys again and I will make it a point to tell everyone never to do business with you again. I will tell them how you lied to us about to return policy on a delivered mattress in a box. We specifically asked four times and I made it a point to listen on that part of the conversation. The representative told my wife soon as we open it if it does not feel right it can be returned. Because as you know you cannot go in the store and feel the mattress at this time. Well guess what, we were not satisfied with the comfort level so we decided to return it the very next day and the representative said we cannot return it at all. Stick to a real mattress company guys, you get a warranty and over 30 days to try it out. These people mistreated and disrespected us on the phone.
Do not and I mean do not purchase any furniture from Ashley. They are the world’s worst. I purchased a sectional sofa online recently. I did the drop off delivery in which I unwrap and set up sofa myself. I took the plastic wrapping off the sofa and found a large tear towards bottom of sofa. I unwrapped the chaise and found a hole in top of the chaise exposing the frame. I immediately called their customer service was placed on hold for about 30 min then automatically hung up on. I called several times throughout the day only to have the same thing happen each time. I did the Ashley virtual text only to be told someone would contact me which they never did. I have emailed them as well with no response from them. I emailed the delivery company and was told someone would contact me. Still waiting.... it’s been three days now. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute and reverse the charges. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. I now have damaged furniture sitting in my living room that I can’t use. Their customer service sucks.

Ordered a bed frame, foot board and headboard and a dresser and here it is almost a month and they keep telling me the day before my delivery that half of my order will NOT be in until another date! So freeking fed up! Called to cancel the order and got HUNG UP on again. (Despite how angry I am) I not ONCE had an attitude and STILL get hung up on! I DO NOT RECCOMEND ORDERING from this store! I went into the Robert store and purchased a queen bed and a narrow boxspring. After choosing a date for the delivery only partial of the bed was delivered. It took me almost 4 months to receive my footboard. Due to the fact that it was on back order, then they scheduled for a delivery they missed and then twice it was delivered and was damaged. I've reached out to the store, mgr of the store, customer service and no one seemed to be able to help me. It was always an excuse or they stated sorry for the inconvenience. Now it time to make my last payment I'm noticing a charge on my account from about a mth in a half again that was NOT authorized. I'm confused. I tried calling the store and customer service and either I cant get through or no one can see what this 300$ charge is for. I WAS NOT pleased with my experience and I know every one has their own experience with companies. Just be careful. Robert's store is a franchise to the actual Ashley Homestore and if they wont fix it the only option you have left to do if it's that bad is take them to court.
Mrs. Ashley is extremely patient. My mom originally came in for me to purchase bedroom furniture for my children but I had to end up saving the day. Through it all, Mrs. Ashley answered my moms tough questions & the process was smooth selling.
The experience we had with Ashley HoneeStore started out very well when we made our purchase, but when it came to delivery we were very displeased. We still have not gotten all our furniture and it’s been about a month now. And to top it off the associates kept giving us the total run around by giving us wrong delivery dates after we had confirmed the dates via telephone and through messages that we still have. I took off work to receive our merchandise on Friday, March 6, 2020. I waited and waited until I finally called to ask if the furniture was still coming and I was told that it will be Saturday, March 7, 2020 and Wednesday, March 11, 2020. My husband and I was highly upset. So with this being said. Our experience was horrible and I hope this never happens to anyone else.
Worst place to buy anything!! Ordered a chair and a coffee table in mid December 2019.. as of 2/18/20, still not received!! They have changed delivery dates and times each time they were 'going to deliver.' My husband took 2 days off of work to wait for nothing to show up. Customer service is terrible, may as well be non-existent. Cancelled the order and filed a chargeback on the credit card. I will be buying from American factory direct from now on and I'm going to strongly advise everyone to never ever buy anything from this so-called furniture store.
We visited Ashley furniture to purchase a bedroom set and Brian was our salesman. He was very professional and knowledgeable without any pressure that is usually expected from salesman. He took his time to work with us to ensure our happiness and was able to work out a great price for us. We were so happy with the price and ease of our purchase that we ended up buying 2 living room sets and a dining room set from him also. If you plan to visit the store in Robert, La, I would ask for Brian. So it’s been a year and I’m returning to my post. The only good thing about this store was my salesman. Since then 2 of my drawers are not working properly and my bed has fallen completely apart and I still haven’t received the last piece of it to be able to repair the bed myself. I also purchased insurance on all of my furniture, which cost an extra $500 to be told that my problem with the bed breaking wasn’t covered. I’m totally disappointed with my experience with Ashley furniture and will never shop there again and I’d warn anyone else who was going to make a purchase there also.

My fiancé and I were looking for a sectional for our living room. Mrs. Kris helped us find the perfect couch for us! She asked us what we were looking for and she went above and beyond to help us get exactly what we wanted in the price range we needed! We will definitely be back to see her for our future furniture purchases! EDIT: I left that review when we first got our couch. I definitely take back everything I said and would give this place NO STARS IF I COULD. When we purchased the couch we were told it was 100% covered by insurance if our dogs had any kind of accidents/chewed on the couch, we would get a whole new replacement. Our younger dog chewed a couple spots on the couch and almost all of our cushions have busted open at the zippers, (not because of our dogs or us) so we are being told that they will not replace the busted open cushions and the insurance does not cover bite/claw marks on the couch. Which is not what we were told about the insurance before buying.. I totally understand it is our fault that the dog chewed the couch whatever, but when my cushions are busting open at the zippers it’s ridiculous!!! We shouldn’t be responsible for that, it’s the poor quality that the couch is made out of! I will NEVER purchase another piece of furniture from this place. Should’ve listened to all the people telling me not to go there!!!!

Great furniture
I spent over 15 grand at this store for furniture for our house in Covington. The house is our home away from home on the Tchefuncta River. I pull in the driveway and quite often head out fishing or we have friends and family over for get together&'s. I basically furnished half of a 4000 sq&' home very nicely with furniture from this store. I first went into AFD and was ignored. Our old home we just sold on Fish Hatchery Rd was mainly furnished by Kirshman&'s pre-Katrina for over 50 grand and most of the furniture went with the house, friends, or family who were interested. I finally live on a golf course, where I can enjoy my passion golf and retirement. We need almost everything for it. I left it to my wife and her ASID interior designer to take care of it. The Tchefuncta River house is my domain. Whatever follow-up I had with the Ashley store, was personally handled by the store manager Lisa. The salesman did a good job making sure everything went well together. The store manager Lisa followed through on everything and made sure I was always in the loop and kept happy. I&'m 100% positive, I will return for another big purchase for my Tchefuncta house and our condo. Thanks, a million!
Ms. Kate (I think that’s her name) was so nice, sweet and very professional. She made our family’s experience very smooth. We ended up purchasing both a sectional w/ the ottoman and a sofa! I would recommend for sure!!!
This is a long review but, should be worth the read. I was given help when needed and it was fairly nice and informative. When I finally made a decisions on buying a sectional I went ahead with the norm of buying one. It was during a black Friday sale i think. I was told that the sale would last all weekend, it was late so we decided to come back the next day. So i went the next day to buy the sectional ...annnd boom the sale is gone and the person helping me said yeah all of a sudden we had a meeting and management said the sale is over (im sure that was a lie I feel)... But she kept her word and price matched me on a cheaper price then the sale so it worked out anyways! Now time for the shipping, when i got the sectional I was missing one part. I ordered 5 pieces for the sectional and was told i was going to get 5 on a specific day and only got 4. It turns out one of the pieces was on back order.. That's kind of some intel you would want to let your customer know right?.. Welp, nearly paid 200 for shipping so I called Ashley Home customer support ( which was fairly easy to get through) to tell them i didnt get everything for what i paid for... i didnt pay nearly 200 bucks to have only 4 out of the five pieces to only show up because i hate myself?.. haha So they said, and i quote "Sure thing we can go ahead and refund your shipping cost for you sir!" okay Great! WOW that's awesome of you guys to understand and refund me for this inconvenience. That was a lie.... called again.. and they keep dragging it on. called again and again.. turns out there is no refund and someone has been lying to me. I'll never see that refund nor will i ever trust the salesmen or saleswomen considering i missed what potentially in the future could have made me miss a chance on saving money. And if they say they will refund you, make sure it happens while your on the phone with proof or else you'll never see it. It seems like a ploy to just get you off the phone. This experience would have been 4 stars if I would of simply just got the sectional on the day i paid for it to be there for.. with NOTHING missing.. I should say up right it was a 2 and a half star experience considering I was being lied too a few times. Though i know this inst consistent because usually they are pretty good.
Long wait times topped with delays delays delays. Ordered my furniture on the 18th of December and as of February 12th we still haven't received it all. I will never shop here again nor recommend this shady establishment to anyone. Go to Rooms To Go.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would! This is the WORST possible furniture company there is. I bought furniture paid in full I was given a delivery date, and I even recieved an email confirming they would be at my home between 11-2. No on ever showed up even after I called customer care 3 times and all 3 times they told me I was next in line for delivery that day. The next day I called only for them to tell me they never had my furniture to begin with stating it would be another few weeks before I recieved it. This company lies, there is zero teamwork or collaboration, and they have no regard for customers. Its pathetic that I had to pay so much for delivery service and never even recieved the service. The worst part is no one had the decency to even call and tell me anything they just let you sit around and wait for orders that are never coming.

We had a wonderful experience shopping at the Ashley Homestore in Ponchatoula. Ms. Chris was so helpful and just an awesome salesperson. We got a great deal on an amazing sectional with ottoman. I am so excited that we got to add the 5 year protection plan. I highly recommend getting it. If you're in the market for furniture, check them out. I guarantee you'll find something you love.

Called again, waited another 30 minutes and finally just canceled the order. This other lady did end up giving me 20% off my last purchase. The whole experience was a nightmare and I ended up wasting a month of my time expecting the couch only to have to start looking all over again.

This one star rating is for my experience AFTER purchasing furniture from the store. I had started shopping Ashley Furniture online and in the store during December 2019. My sweet salesperson advised me of an upcoming promotion in the store and I ordered a sectional on Jan 1 and a bedroom set on Jan 2 during the New Year promotional sale. The sectional was scheduled for delivery on Jan 11 and the bedroom set on Jan 31. I received a text message on Jan 6 of "a delivery reminder that your order is tentatively scheduled for 1/11/2020. Please be aware you will receive a time frame 24-48 hours prior to delivery and confirmation of the time frame will be required for the delivery to take place." I did not receive any further communication. No text, no email, no phone call. On Jan 10th, I called the number on my receipt to inquire. I was told the armless chair was in stock and scheduled for delivery on Jan 11th, but it had not been assigned to a truck yet. I specifically asked, "Will they really deliver just one piece of the sectional? The answer was yes. I was surpised by this. I expected them to say no, they will on make one delivery after it's all in stock. I was told that I still may receive confirmation and time frame later that day. Then nothing. And no delivery. I called the following week and I was told that it was never assigned to a truck, but the whole sectional was in stock now (great news!) and delivery was rescheduled for the 16th. I received the delivery reminder message again, then no further communication. I called again on the 15th and was told the sectional was never assigned to a truck (again)! My delivery was rescheduled for the next available date of Jan 23rd. I received the delivery reminder message on Jan 18th, then no further communication. I called again on Jan 22 and I was told the sectional was never assigned to a truck AGAIN! Delivery was rescheduled for the next available date, Jan 29th. I received the delivery reminder text on Jan 24, then no further communication. Today is Jan 29th. I called this morning and was told the sectional was never confirmed for delivery, so it would have to be rescheduled. I am happy to show you my phone. I have not received any text messages, phone calls, or emails to confirm my delivery at all yesterday, or to date for that matter. Now my sectional is rescheduled again for Feb 7th!!While on the phone, I asked about my bedroom set, purchased on Jan 2 with expected delivery on Jan 31. My salesperson told me there was issues with item availability for this set, but all pieces should be in by Jan 25th, which is why I went with Jan 31st delivery date at the advice of my salesperson, "just to be safe." Last week, all pieces were in stock except the chest. Today, I am told the whole entire thing is on backorder and won't be in stock until Feb 5th. Now this delivery has also been rescheduled to Feb 7th, as well. This whole delivery thing is unbelievable! The salespeople in the store are very courteous. But literally 7 out of 10 people I've spoken to at the "Call Center," would benefit from a Customer Service Class 101. The majority are rude, cold, don't care, don't know how to help troubleshoot issues with delivery nor do they want to help in any way, and they clearly don't belong in customer service. The other 3 people I've encountered so far though were nice, engaging, and truly tried to find out what was going on with my order that keeps getting pushed further and further out. I agree with a previous reviewer's statement about delivery having an indefinite wait time. I have never experienced anything like this! The subpar and poor customer service when trying to find out what's going on just makes the whole thing that much more frustrating. My delivery date for just the sectional has been changed 4 times now and the bedroom set has also been changed now after an initial delivery date of 30 days out "just to be safe"...I am super frustrated and very disappointed with Ashley Furniture delivery. I had wanted to buy two more bedroom sets from Ashley Furniture when I was shopping in the store, but my budget wouldn't afford me to buy a whole house of furniture at one time. I still need 2 more bedroom sets. After this experience though, I don't want to buy from Ashley Furniture ever again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my sectional and bedroom set will both arrive on Feb 7th. Good luck to anyone who has purchased from Ashley Furniture lately. I truly hope you all have a better experience than this.
I have been purchasing furniture from this Ashley store for many years. I made an additional purchase last November. I was treated with the utmost rude and umprofessional manner I have ever experienced anywhere anytime in my life. The unrelenting rudeness and lies prompted a cancellation of both the financed portion and the credit card portion of my furniture order. This refund process started because of an unauthorized charge on my credit card that I was told I would recieve back but never happened because the credit refund was never submitted to corporate to process. This was a lie. It was a lie because the customer relations department at corporate continued to tell me they had no record of any refund credit in process. Ultimately my credit refund swelled to $760 which Angela would not submit to corporate for my refund although every conversation I had with her she promised that the correct paper work had been submitted. Additionally whenever Angela swore the refund process was underway I immediately contacted corporate who again told me nothing was being processed regarding any credit or refund for me. Corporate agreed with me that I was being lied to on multiple occasions. Finally after being connected to Lydia Smith at corporate she listened to my problem and processed my refund which I received in less than two days. I am now done with that store and the lies and deception that I incurred as a good customer. Also one day when I was there a woman came into the store and asked for help to get her mother out of their car and into a wheelchair. This wheelchair is the store's wheelchair for the purpose to help handicapped customers to get around the store to shop or pay a bill. The woman told people that her mother had cancer and was weak from her treatments. The employees offered no help for the woman and when told that her mother had stage four cancer, the response she got was "Yeh well good luck with that" and the employee turned away and left these two women to fend for themselves. This store and these employees are rude, biased, unprofessional liars. STAY AWAY THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. Shop at the Elmwood Store. The people there are worth the drive. We had Kathy as a sales rep, she was great! We bought a home in Ponchatoula and need to furnish a 6000 sqft house. We bought a large sectional, a table and chairs for our breakfast nook and a desk for my husbands office. We will need to buy more, but want to wait until we move in. We will definitely be back to see Kathy. I will also add, we had been to a few other stores before going into Ashley, my parents had bought from Ashley in the past and didn’t have a good experience, so it was the last place we went to. We went to a large mom and pop furniture store in the area and as soon as I walked in, their rep started to speak poorly of Ashley. That sales technique was 50% of his sales presentation. I have been in commission sales 25 years, I thought that was pretty tacky, it actually made me WANT to go to Ashley. We bought a table there and left. When I went into Ashley I was greeted by Kathy and it was a much better experience. We ended up calling that other store and canceled our order. I found a table & chairs that I liked much better. Better quality, better service, faster delivery time, better prices. If our delivery goes smoothly then this will be our go to location for all our other needs, Kathy was a pleasure to work with and we really liked the store overall.

Well I came in to look at a power sofa after not getting greeted at the entrance I found what I was looking for an decided to look at other things for my wall . I noticed how others were entering and was asked did they need any help several times and as I continue to look around other guests were looking around and was asked can they be helped. I’m close by 5 feet sometimes 10 feet away and never was asked can I help you sir .I had to go to the front desk and the young lady asked me have I been helped she then call for the very nice gentleman in the white doctor coat that answer my questions and got me the items that I needed off the wall. Placed an order for a couch and ottoman. Received a text from Ashley for me to pick from 3 dates for delivery. I picked a date and got an immediate reply confirming my delivery date. When I checked the day before delivery was scheduled I was informed that the item had not been received at their store for delivery. I called a number provided in the text to check on the delivery, and was told this is a huge nationwide problem. Will think twice about using Ashley again.
Ordered a full bedroom set for my daughter, everything was delivered as scheduled except the bed slats which are needed for the bed to be used... Adrianna stated that the slats would be delivered the following Thursday, (in which I have a voicemail verifying this) also the delivery guys stated they would be back Thursday with them.. Did not hear from Ashley furniture, so I called them to be told by 1 person it would be Jan 29th... To get transferred to another person that said Feb 1st... to be transferred to the purchasing store to be hung up on... Really my daughter can't sleep in her new bed..
Ashley HomeStore so far came through for me. I made changes to my order by adding additional merchandise and they didn’t charge me with extra fees. The only reason I gave a 4 star because my original delivery date was two different dates for the same sectional. I hope that my furniture delivery date doesn’t change again.
Ashley Home Store, I’m not even sure where to begin. I will preface this to save others from the roller coaster of inconvenience you have put me on for 7MONTHS! DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM HERE!!! If this issue is not remedied by the end of this week, I will be contacting the better business bureau and getting a lawyer. I can only hope to save someone from having to go through this stressful, grueling and unnecessary process. I have been on a tirade simply trying to return the broken couch that was delivered to me. Not to much to ask one may think, but apparently it is. I purchased a sectional back in July of 2019... it came broken. I waited 3 days to call, thinking that I would receive at least a courtesy call from them within that time. Negative. No courtesy call before delivery, no courtesy call after. Great. Original Delivery: August 2, 2019 -Delivery of the original couch was horrible on all levels. (So many details I’m leaving out.) -try to return, they say my only Choice is to exchange! -Exchange delivery scheduled. no call no show -Rescheduled exchange delivery(which I had to call and schedule)- couch came broken and I refused to take it. -Again no one got into contact with me after that, so I called them agian. I asked for a refund and for them to pick up the couch. I was already done dealing with it. “That’s not an option”, “you have to exchange it”. -Got no where except for another exchange delivery date (January 16, 2020) AGAIN no call, no show! NOW HERE WE ARE... JANUARY 20, 2020! I have written everything down. I have called at least 5 times a month for 7 months and have physically gone into the store 3 separate times within these 7 months, all for this one issue! They have given me the run around every time. I have asked (everytime) I don’t want this to get to a point that it’s been to long and you tell me that there is nothing you can do. The ball has always been in there Court. [This is COMPLETELY ON YOU AshleyHome Store!!! ]They wait and wait and wait some more until it’s “been in your house to long, so there’s nothing we can do”. That happend today (1/20/20). In my call to finally rid of this inconvenience in my life, I was told, and I quote “there’s nothing we can do” word for word. Mind blown. Today was the last straw and this company has given me no choice. Apparently I have my second exchange scheduled for the Jan 28, 2020 and am supposed to be getting a call 48hrs before... we’ll see. However, I do not want an exchange. I want my money back and for this couch to be out of my house! A few umbrella details: -When I was told I would get a call back, throughout the 7 months... NEVER did I get a call from them. I had to call... every. Single. Time -no show deliveries - they don’t stand behind what they say. Period. - the furniture on the floor at the store is 10x better quality, than what I received both times. Talk about bate and switch.

Apparently &"expected delivery&" is just a blindfolded throw of a dart at a calendar. It means nothing. I received a voice mail from their delivery dept today informing me of the FOURTH delivery date change. I ordered multiple pieces of furniture from the Ponchatoula store BEFORE Thanksgiving. This latest delayed delivery date for two of those pieces is now February 1st. This was the last straw. I have called to cancel this order but am already getting the runaround from rude call center reps. Let me also point out that when my dining room set was delivered (late as well) in early December, the delivery drivers reeked of weed. That&'s right. People you have hired and who are going into people&'s homes are high. On the job. A driving job.I know I am not the only one who has experienced issues with this company. I have heard they are going out of business and also heard they have been bought out by Rooms to Go. Either way, they have completely given up on giving a flip about their customers. Bought an ottoman from this store at the end of November. Our first estimated delivery date was December15th. They pushed it back to December 30th. After confirming the delivery time and date three times (December 30th between 4:00pm and 7:00pm) it’s a no show ... My husband calls them because noone from Ashley furniture bothered to call us to let us know the status of our delivery and he finds out that it is pushed back to January 10th. They might be able to deliver sooner but we’ll have to call them back to see if it is really possible... Over 6 weeks wait for an ottoman delivery ! Absolute nonsense. Last update : it is January 10th and again, no ottoman. Next delivery January 17th. What a joke !

Wife was told by an Ashley Associate on the phone to go here to order a new couch cushion for our couch. The people there told her because she didnt buy it there that they cant help her. This is the same as buying an iPhone at Best Buy and going to Apple and them saying sorry we cant do that because you didnt buy it from us. The cushion was orderable because we were able to go somewhere else thankfully and they did it very professionally and nicely. Have never had a good experience at any Ashley owned stores honestly. This is no high end furniture, so why they act snotty and arrogant I have no clue. Have had much better service at all the nicer stores.
Ashley Furniture is absolutely horrible. I have been waiting 2 months for my accent cabinet. 1st delivery date 11/30: Delivery time was from 9am-5pm.........didn’t arrive until 9:30pm and the cabinet looked like someone put it together with their eyes closed. Sent it back and rescheduled. 2nd delivery date 12/5: Didn’t get a call until 330pm that day saying my product was on back order. Rescheduled again 3rd delivery date 12/18: Called to confirm delivery at 9am. Was told it was on the truck.........6pm rolls around.....no delivery......9pm no delivery. Called and was told they could not make it will be there two days 4th delivery date 12/20 Was told when I called to confirm that my product was not even in the warehouse. Was going to need to be pushed back to Christmas Eve. 5th delivery date 12/24: Was pushed back again because they were over loaded. Cannot ever get on the phone with a supervisors. Really rude customer service. Was promised would be here on 12/26 6th delivery date 12/26: Was told was on back order again and will not be here until 1/2. I will never buy anything from Ashley furniture again. Their customer service is hard to get in touch with and have no answers to help. They will lie to keep your business. I will make sure to keep spreading the word about how terrible this experience has been
Principle? Purchased a guest room bed (headboard, frame, foot board) box spring and mattress. ~ Delivery was one week later than promised AND they delivered the WRONG bed. Returned / Cancelled Order Store manager was very nice so even though we had to put guests in a hotel that weekend my wife decided to go back to the store, spent a little more time and a considerable amount more $ money $ to purchase a more expensive (better quality) bed. ~ 2 days before scheduled delivery date we were told the mattress would have to be ordered and would delay delivery. Called to cancel order and we were Assured bed and mattress would be delivered on scheduled date - they would find the mattress at another store or warehouse and get it to us. Our first guests said they enjoyed the comfort of our guest room. Second guests were thankfully, a bit more honest and said, bed seemed to have been a floor model due to 'un-eveness'. Made a call to our first guests who begrudgingly agreed and said if they'd realized it was a new bed they Certainly Would Have told us. ~ We slept in the guest room and we were both rolling into the center of the bed all night. We did not Pay a lower price for a floor model - We were not told in order to keep our order they would send us a floor model. Now, ready to buy chest, end tables, and 2 recliners - Ashley is a bit less expensive on some of these items than American Factory Direct but Fool Me Once? maybe, twice, Should have known better - but Nope, not even to save a couple hundred dollar$.
I am a new homeowner and ordered a new bedroom set & mattress about 2-3 weeks ago. My items were supposed to be delivered today, December 3rd, a few days before my housewarming party. I just received a phone call from Ashley stating that my items will not be delivered today and the next available delivery date will be December 20th. I am so disappointed and upset with Ashley Furniture and will NOT be doing business with them ever again. You do not call me the day of delivery to tell me my furniture won't be coming in until almost 3 weeks later. It is now the 17th f December and my furniture was supposed to be delivered today. received a voicemail at 5:33pm last night stating that not all of it was available and that some could be delivered today and the rest would be delivered on the 27th of December. This is completely unacceptable and I will NEVER order from this place again.
Update: I went to the store in Ponchatoula bc I was getting conflicting info from the call center and the delivery department. I was told at that time my issue was escalated. I was also informed that although the warehouse message said we would get our nightstands and dresser today that the only item in the manifest to be delivered was the dresser. Ok. The store told me the dresser on the 11th, the rest on the 17th. Ok. So today... nothing delivered. My husband calls the store and she’s not sure what happened but we have to wait for the manager to come back on Friday. No, we really don’t. I emailed the guy that responds on here and that manager guy to cancel this order. If our money isn’t refunded ASAP, it’s the BBB next. So many complaints about delivery on here, looks like that department needs a good cleaning. We will never be back. Original review: The sales ladies were fine, I guess I'd really need to rate the warehouse and their inability to provide service to the customers. If you order a bedroom set and mattress, is it really such a crazy idea that those items get delivered together? At the very least the bed, base (rails), and mattress. Am I supposed to sleep on a bedframe for week? We ordered and paid for these items about a month ago and delivery still cannot be scheduled correctly. The warehouse advised my husband that they don't hold pieces of your order until it's all ready to go together, they take from your order to complete another and send out. At some point, within a freaking month, all of our ordered items should have been at the facility. Unprofessional and unacceptable.
Same complaint as others. They take your money, push back your deliveries, call you the day of the deliveries to tell you all the pieces are not in, deliver damaged and defective pieces, direct you to an email address to send your pictures of defective pieces, then you hear nothing...still waiting for resolution and the remaining items I paid for over a month ago.

Update 12/6: Another day, another cancelled delivery appointment. When will we get the rest of our order!!! UPDATE 11/30: Another two cancelled delivery appointments. The most recently being yesterday without a call or notification. Spouse waiting during the 11:00-2:00 pm time frame. Lets review, my original purchase was made 8/30, and I have yet to be made whole. Ashley HomeStore of Ponchatoula I am paid in full and this is beyond ridiculous. I have already filed a complaint with the better business bureau. I will be attempting in the coming weeks to get my money back or some sort of retribution for this. Original review 10/16: Man this experience has been terrible Came in after purchasing a house and spent $5300. Couple weeks later I spent another $1200. I’ve only received 50% of my order. My complaint is in the lack of communication. I’ve received numerous calls regarding delivery dates with the most recent being today 10/16. I took off of work to be available for delivery. No call or communication. Up until last week I was able to call the store to get ‘some’ information. Now it forwards to a automated system that DOES NOT pick up. I’ve sat and let it run for over an hour just to see how long it would leave me on hold. I’ve emailed the owner, without a response. What frustrates me most is that Ashley furniture has my money, I’m paid 100%. And yet the lack of customer service after the purchase is terrible. I will not be recommending this establishment to anyone. And next time I need furniture I’ll take my business elsewhere.
This franchise charged us more than advertised on its website. We cancelled immediately. We then found our credit card had already been charged. Months later they gave us a partial refund. They had charged us a cancellation fee. We had signed a contract. The fee was in the fine print. It would be upheld in court. We lost the money. It was our fault but we will never make the same mistake again.
Do not I repeat order from Ashley they will rip you off my fiancee and I went to purchase a Bluetooth sofa and loveseat but when we got home the money the acceptance now program wanted us to pay on 2,684.00 was 348.00 a month which was double compared to furniture Mart so we decided to cancel the order which we purchased on black Friday wasn't going to receive it until December 14 what a joke and then a payment would be due after we initially put down 268.99 so now they tell us it's 10% of the total order to keep our money no good dogs will never shop here ever again
Horrible customer service nobody knows what’s going on. We can’t get anyone to get a manager on the phone. Each department we talk to says it’s not their problem. We spent 2600 dollar on a sectional was told it’d be delivered on 11/29 it gets to the house and we’re missing a armless loveseat section and our wedge piece has a broken frame. We called the so called customer service department just to have been told 3 times now that it would be this day but no one ever scheduled it. So the day keeps getting pushed back why schedule for part of the sectional to delivered that makes no sense. This company is a joke my husband said if he was this bad at his job he wouldn’t have a job.
We purchased nice living room set with oversized ottoman. They were delivered without problem. Our problems began when I wanted to purchase two additional pillows. Was initially told that I could not order them from store. I had to call customer service, which I did but found out I had to go back to the store to pay for them. When I went back I was told they had no order and there was no way I could purchase those pillows. This was just the beginning of the craziness of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. Although each person you speak to "knows" they are right. We found out today, after driving more than an hour to pick up our pillows, that they are sitting in a warehouse in Houston.
Well the actual purchase completion experience was a drudgery. The sales person had to spend an excessive amount of time completing the sales documentation. My wife and think your selection and prices are exceptional but the final purchase really needs to be simplified to give your sales staff more to be with customers rather than dealing with your draconian paper work. Customer service is awful. 2 months after order furniture was split into two deliveries bc the table and rug are another month off. Now the couch is another week off. Scheduled, then rescheduled more than once (by Ashley). Customer service wait times are awful. The call back feature doesn't work. So you wait on the phone forever. The customer service rep is "corporate" so can't do anything other than schedule/reschedule. The furniture seems nice which is why two stars but the delays, their supply chain inadequacy, poor customer service will keep me from ever returning. If you are ok with headaches, this is the place for you. Updated... delivery was scheduled today between 2:20 and 5:30. I called for an update at 5 bc I heard nothing. They told me "the distribution center actually cancelled it today before it got on the truck, I tried to call them but the distribution center phone number is disconnected". And she has has zero resolution. She says "well I guess we could try to reschedule it for another time"... now I'm on hold... this call has been going for 30 minutes. I despise this company.

UPDATE: After dealing with several agents, our couch was to be delivered Oct. 24th, they called LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE DELIVERY and canceled, pushing us back another week. 9 weeks post order, not the 6 we were quoted. If I could give a no star review, I would. We bought roughly $2500 worth of furniture and after four weeks of waiting we were told that, at minimum, it would be an additional two weeks before they could tell us when we would get our stuff (our promised delivery windows was within four weeks of purchase). They refused to refund any money outside of the $150 delivery fee, and had no sense of urgency to remedy the situation. The communication between the store and myself only existed if I reached out first. If you like the idea of furniture, shop here. If you would like to purchase furniture for use, shop elsewhere.
Horrible, don&'t waist your time. No customer service. Manager needs to take a course on customer satisfaction. Also, the employee that waited on us was not trained on how to make a sales transaction, we waited over 2 hours and left with nothing. They would not deliver a 1.000 sale item! Was offered a number of a guy who would deliver for $100 cash only, no written guarantee for replacement if damaged! OMG!!!!
My wife and I looking at sectional at the Robert, LA location. We had picked one out but it was just a little big for our living space. The sales associate looked it up in the computer and noticed a new piece was available for the sectional that would make it smaller (a love seat attachment). We were hesitant not knowing the timeline of this new piece so we were about to walk out of store and the sales manager Ashley guaranteed that we would have everything delivered within 4 weeks. This was a complete lie to force us into a purchase. We received only half of the sectional after we asked them not to do this. We have called to speak to a manager and no one will take our call and now have even started picking up the phone and hanging up. Yes, you know who you are. The manager is always out or all of a sudden had a schedule change. Customer service says the piece won't be available until Dec 19th. This will be over 2 months not 4 weeks as promised. This has been a horrible experience and lets hope we actually get the furniture piece to complete our order. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB so they understand this is not how you treat a paying customers.

The communication is horrible. They sent out defective pieces and is giving us the run around to replace them. For the amount of money that was spent you would think that they would move faster, but instead they don't answer the calls. Ashley Home Store doesn't care about their customers. Once they get your money they could careless about the quality of merchandise you have. I won't ever buy ANYTHING from them EVER again. If they don't reach out to us this week I'm going get a lawyer.....FREAKING HORRIBLE COMPANY. I wouldn't refer anyone to them if they were giving merchandise away. The footboard on my bed is coming apart due to it being assembled wrong. They don't even have all of the screws in the bed which is why the footboard is coming apart. I have the Cassimore four post bed. The drawers on my daughter's dresser is defective. When they manufactured the drawers they didnt center the holes for the hardware. This is absolutely ridiculous. I'm sure I would have received better product and better service somewhere else. That was too much money spent to be this disappointed. Someone should reach out to me sooner than later.
This has been and AWFUL experience. I have been waiting on furniture with no communication with the store unless I reach out to them. I have now been given 3 different dates. No one picks up the phone when you call it goes to a voicemail and no one calls you back. It is the LAST time I buy from Ashley. Very little communication with my sales person who still has sent no confirmation. OH, by the way! They apparently don't have a district manager (or so I am told) to speak with. Lesson learned!
Awful return/exchange policy. I hope you like the mattress you purchased because there is no going back! This was absolutely not disclosed prior to my purchase. Never again. I’d rather sleep on the floor than my chime elite mattress... it would most likely be more comfortable!

High pressure sales methods with hovering “sales consultant (Kathy Alack)”. Felt like a used car dealership. My wife found a sofa she liked but it would take 4 weeks for delivery. So we decided to shop elsewhere. We found another sofa that wasn’t as nice at another store available for purchase that day. We decided to make an offer on the floor model at Ashley. We called Kathy and offered to buy the floor model. She agreed to sell us the floor model. Drove back to make the purchase and she then tells me I can only have sofa if I buy the whole set of 3 (sofa, loveseat, and chair). What a waste of time. But it seems like that is how this place works.

Ordered a sofa around Christmas got it 2 months later. The sofa is awful it sinks when you lay on it . Worst sofa ever. And it's financed so gonna pay a fortune for junk. Already need a new one.

My fiancee and I spent over $5,000 on new living room furniture at the Ashley Store in Ponchatoula, LA. We were told on July 9th our furniture would be in by the end of July. I called to see if that had changed and now I'm being told the second week of August. So, we will have nowhere to sit as a family in our new home for over a month. All other furniture we purchased elsewhere and all were delivered within a week. This is absolutely ridiculous and for the money we spent on the furniture, plus delivery costs, we will not be recommending Ashley at all again. If you're in this area we would implore you to choose American Factory Direct. And I'm not emailing my information to an email that looks fake either! WTF is wrong with you?
Ordered an entire bed set and living room couches - over $6000 in merchandise. Sales guy did not even give us a hand shake or thank you when we went to the purchasing counter even after we had waited almost an hour for him to show up to work to get our sale because he helped up look the day before. Was told would be called by salesman to let know when should expect delivery and that it usually takes about 2 weeks for items - NOT TRUE! Salesman never called and some items came over a month and a half later. One item was backordered (couch) and another item (bed pillow)was missing on truck. Was told I would be contacted about how to get the pillow. Never happened. Still waiting on one couch and was told it will probably be another month and a half now. Would not have known that if I had not taken the initiative to call them again to find out about my pillow a week later. Also ordered 3 rugs from Ashley on line. Read to make sure I could return to store if didn't like instead of having to pay shipping to return. Wanted to return one but got major run around from customer service being given 3 different numbers to call. Was finally told that rugs are sold through 3rd party so are not returnable to store. Would never have purchased had I known that. Will probably never purchase from Ashley again and wish I could give my business to a more deserving sales rep. Still fuming that he got commission from my sale.

We purchased a sofa and love seat online. Right after they received our order, they tried to sell us a warranty (in addition to Ashley's standard warranties) for $329.99 for 5 years. The catch is, they'll only honor your claim if they consider it to be your fault. If it's normal wear and tear, this warranty will not cover it. For instance, our friend had a seam loose, requested a repair, and was denied. We declined the coverage, and Rick was very gracious and polite about it. The reason for the 1 star is our dealings with the delivery person, Tasha (she refused to give her last name when I said I'd report her to corporate). It took them 2.5 weeks from the purchase date to deliver. This is because Tasha asked whether they could deliver Friday or Saturday, and I said Friday afternoon, because I was busy all Friday morning. Sure enough, the automated call came, and the only options were to accept a 3-hour Friday morning delivery time slot or call the store. When I called, Tasha told me I had only "requested" Friday afternoon and that now they were all booked for Saturday. She never told me in the first call that I had to devote entire business days and couldn't request time slots. The earliest I could now request was the following Tuesday, when I already had appointments scheduled. So I said Wednesday, and she said I'd receive a call Monday confirming a time slot. No call came Monday, despite my husband calling late Monday afternoon and her assurances to him that we'd receive a call that afternoon. The automated call came at 7:47 AM Tuesday, the day before the scheduled delivery. Of course, it was when I already had appointments scheduled, so my husband had to drive an hour home from work to accept the delivery. Piss poor customer service to expect people to block off entire business days and not confirm until 24 hours prior to delivery, Tasha. Though the delivery man was very nice and helpful, they did leave 2 connections in the love seat unplugged (power lumbar support and head rest) and left 1 small plastic bag. I must say, though, that our dog was barking at them the whole time (from another room), so they may have felt rushed. All in all, this 1-star rating is Tasha's fault.
We love our new bedroom set and the service we received was phenomenal. This showroom is awesome and we will definitely be back for our next furniture purchase.

I have been dealing with this Ashley store since my first time having to furnish my own place. Not once, in those 6 years, have I ever had a problem with the merchandise or the service.I still comparison shop before purchasing any furniture, but I always end up buying from Ashley.

I payed for a King size bed frame and mattress they brought a Queen size bed wouldn't refund my 100 dollar delivery fee.. even though nothing was delivered!! Then they went ahead and charged me AGAIN TWICE FOR A BED THAT WAS NOT DELIVERED. THEY TOOK MONEY TWICE FOR FOR ONE BED THAT I DON'T HAVE!! Yes we've contacted the bank they still owe the refund and for the amount that they double charged! If you like horrible customer service, paying for things and not receiving them and being changed for things twice for something you don't have and being told... ohhhh well.. Ashley Furniture Industries is for you.

I created an account just to leave a review. I bought about 8000 dollars worth of furniture. Worst customer service ever. There delivery service called and had to push their date back. Then when I got the couch one of the pieces had broken springs. It took over 2 weeks to finally send someone out and then they said it shouldn't take longer than 4 weeks for a replacement. Fast forward to today and it's been 2 months. I call and ask and they say it's going another 2 months wait. So 4 months total before I receive my replacement section. And they never contacted me via email or phone to tell me any of this.They have given me the run around on time frames for every aspect from delivery to them to delivery to me to this replacment. If i could I would send every piece back. Will 100% never ever shop with them again and will do my best to make sure no one else does either.
