This is a great store. From the moment you walk in, there is someone there to greet you and help you find what you are looking for. I never felt like anyone was being pushy for a sale either. The store is very beautiful with well laid out design, they have a variety of items for your home at different price points. They also have a variety of sales and promotions. Prices are clearly shown on the items. When we were there, James (Jim) helped us find the perfect mattress and accessories for our home. He was very kind and knowledgeable!

We saw an ad for Ashley Furniture’s Veteran’s Day sale and then found a living room set that we liked online. After calling to see if they had the set on the store’s floor so we could see how it felt, we drove over an hour and ended up buying even more than we came for! Several people assisted us - Justin did the initial legwork, answering a lot of my questions, Tony took care of us in the store, and Anastashia helped us with a delivery-scheduling issue and truly went above and beyond to make is happy! We feel that the prices were very good and are confident that we’ll be happy with quality. Well-worth the hour long drive!

Ashley Furniture is the absolute worst retailer I have ever dealt with. Ashley furniture delivered damaged furniture to my home in October and it’s been a nightmare ever since. Ashley Furniture wanted to submit the damage to my warranty, but I refused because brand new furniture shouldn’t be arriving to your home damaged especially when you’re spending thousands on it. The delivery men arrived with no shoe covers on and they said Ashley Furniture doesn’t provide that. The carpet in our home was just cleaned and Ashley Furniture was very inconsiderate that we just spent hundreds to have the carpet professionally serviced. When I spoke with customer service about this, I insisted on receiving brand new furniture, I was told they will make a note about the shoe covers and they had the nerve to tell me I have their “loaner” furniture. I bought this furniture, it wasn’t supposed to arrive damaged nor was it intended to be some loaner program? Ashley Furniture offered poor customer service until I kept calling and expressing concern about the inconveniences that come with receiving new furniture. It wasn’t until then Ashley Furniture offered $50 off or $100 gift card. Fast forward to November when I was to receive the brand new replacement furniture, the delivery men arrived to the second delivery date with no shoe covers. They stated they saw there was a note about it, but again they didn’t have the shoe covers. The delivery men brought DAMAGED furniture to replace the DAMAGED furniture I already had in my home. The furniture they arrived with was worse than what I had originally received. The leg was cracked and the white paint didn’t even match. Ashley Furniture had the audacity to call me a LIAR. Ashley Furniture said it was in the system that I knew this furniture was arriving damaged. No one called me to discuss this and who in their right mind would spend thousands on damaged furniture? I expect brand new, undamaged furniture when I am purchasing new. I shared all this with customer service and they said all they could offer was $100 off. I haven’t even got into all the inconveniences I have had to deal with in this process and on these THREE delivery dates. I had to call Ashley Furniture today to receive my third delivery date. There have been multiple times I was told Ashley Furniture would call and I don’t hear so I have to call them. I do NOT recommend purchasing from Ashley Furniture. I am very regretful and I will NEVER purchase from them again.

Hannah welcomed me and attended to my Two requests: new mattress and 24” high backless counter stool. With no such stools on the floor she suggested a clearance floor model stool which was a possibility. Regarding the mattress, she rolling as needed all questions about type, showed available BeautyRest styles, answered all kinds of questions re: box springs, height of bed frame, overall sizing and explained the costs and differences among the choices. Ultimately , she offered two extra stools at a discount I couldn’t refuse as part of the deals. She was willing to wait for my return on a day after a scheduled medical appointment, which avoided a second trip. All in all I was happy with the whole shopping experience. Hannah knew her job and did it well. She had good sales training.

My friend and I went in. She was looking for a whole new bedroom suit. And I was looking for some dressers. Rob arrived promptly within time frame stated. He introduced himself and asked about the issue we were having. He got to work trying to solve issue. It was determined to be a manufacturing defect. He explained the replacement process. He was kind, courteous, and efficient. 5 Star service guy!

Stopped in to look for a sectional sofa with chaise and recliner. The girl who helped us (forgot her name but she was a young brunette, glasses, tattoo on leg) was really helpful. We decided to wait and come back the next day because we wanted to check one more place. She told us she would be working and they were still having their big sale, so we could ask for her again and still get the sale price. Went back the next day with intentions to purchase their Ashely sectional sofa with chaise, and the dude working up front had no idea who we were talking about and said, “it sounds like Hannah, but she’s not working today. She should be working tomorrow.” I could also tell he was high on some type of opiate. I wouldn’t normally make such a serious assumption about someone, but it was really apparent. My boyfriend also looked at me and said, “that guy is high.” We didn’t see the girl we were working with previously so this guy was following us around the store. We realized the sectional we wanted met our living room dimensions, but didn’t take into account that our main door might hit one side of the couch when opening it so we needed to go back home and double-check how far the door would be able to swing open without hitting the chaise. They were closing within an hour and the sale ended that day, so we asked if there was any way we could still get the sale price if we came back tomorrow (like put money down now or something) and he said they could honor the sale price if we just came back the next day. When we told him we would let him know if we needed any help, because he kept following us around and we were just looking at what else they had, he seemed annoyed. Before we left, we said, “ok so if we come back tomorrow, (presumably) Hannah will be here and will be able to honor the sale price, correct?” And he said, “nooo, unfortunately if you come back tomorrow it will be full price again.” My boyfriend and I looked at each other like….we’re not crazy right? He literally told us the exact opposite of that 20 minutes earlier. It really bothered us that he wasn’t willing to honor what he had just told us once he found out that he would not be getting the sale. The entire experience was just super aggravating. We left and purchased the same exact sofa (AND a power- recliner) the following day from Fiore’s.

So far my wife and I have had an excellent experience shopping here for new furniture for our house. All the staff we interacted with were professional and nice, and our salesperson Mark was outstanding. He was super helpful and knowledgeable, but also gave us plenty of space and time to ourselves to go over everything before fully deciding. Then when we did decide and the order was placed, a few days later we wanted to swap the entire bedroom set out for a different one, and he made the process extremely easy. They even price matched the couch for us. Overall, we have zero complaints, but are still waiting on the delivery date of our items, and we will update the review after delivery!

The reason that we bought our recliners at Ashley Furniture was because of the great sales associate, Jessica. She walked us through the entire store and was so helpful no matter how many questions we asked. The other local furniture stores just paled in comparison. Customer service is a priceless factor in the buying equation, but I am happy to say that Jessica also gave us the best price compared to Park etc. Thanks again.

I loved that we were just able to walk around and not get hounded every 3 seconds with someone trying to make a sale . Justin who we worked with was AMAZING came over introduced him self he ask if we were looking for anything in particular and I showed him and he said we don’t have any of them but we do have a few other things you might like that’s close to it . Justin and Tony were very helpful and easy to work with. However, it is confusing that Ashley on-line and Ashley stores have the same products but different prices. I wish that Ashley would just give you their best price to start with instead of having to shop around and price match.

I called to order a recliner and received a little better deal than online. That was until I asked about delivery, initially I was told $100 for delivery but when I said I wanted 2 recliners I was told it was going to be $200. I don’t understand why when it’s going to the same place.

My husband and I have had two separate experiences with Ashley in Altoona. Both we excellent. We bought two chairs to go with our current table. We we were able to get exactly what we were looking for. The second was for a mattress and box spring. We were able to take our time and find something we wanted and we are getting it delivered for free. Both sales people that assisted us were knowledgeable and pleasant and not pushy at all I don't like when I go furniture shopping and the sales people are very pushy I will just leave and go somewhere else. This is not the case at this store. Update to original post: We had the mattress and foundation delivered and it did not meet our expectation. The mattress and foundation on my bedframe come up to my hip I can't get into it without a step stool. The bed is hard as a rock and when we tried to tell them this was not the one we laid on and picked out in the store we were told it was what we ordered and that they couldn't do anything for us. I bought a $150 4" mattress foam pad to try and make it more comfortable and it is still just as bad and now even my husband can't get into the bed. It is horrible. I paid over $3k and I am out the money as of right now. I did call again and explained all of this. It needs to be made right. I would make this 0 stars if Google would have let me. Be very careful what you purchase and sign for because we did not get what we expected to get.

Horrible!!! I purchased a mattress and adjustable frame. I hate it. I was told there was a satisfaction guarantee. Nope! I was told to sleep on it for 14 days then they said 21 days, then 30. After 30 days they said sorry, once it's been delivered to your home they are no returns. I am beyond dissatisfied and will never purchase anything from them again!

I was just in there store today and a lady named Valerie Dunham helped me pick out our sofa sleeper and it matches perfectly to my pillow I brought in she was awesome and amazing customer service for sure I highly recommend going seeing her today if u need new furniture 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had previously ordered a bedroom set and a dining table from Ashley and had no issues. In Dec, 22, I ordered a sectional couch and it was delivered in Jan 23, however, due to manufacturer defects the sectional was returned and I was given store credit to find another living room set. I selected a leather love seat and sofa and paid a bit more money, with the total cost being close to $5000 to include to credit from the sectional. When the set was delivered in Feb 2023, it had scratches on the sofa as well as a "brand" from the cow on the leather on both pieces. At this point, I just wanted a refund, but was told I would have to pay for the "freight" cost of the returned items. My only other options were: (1) take the items "as is" and they would give me $300 back; (2) order replacement parts and have a technician repair the set, which would take anywhere between 2-6 weeks, (3) or reorder a new set. So I ordered another love seat and sofa, it was delivered today and unfortunately, it had scratches/gauges on the leather. I think the scratches occurred in the delivery truck based on how the sofa was positioned in the truck. At least there wasn't was cow brand on the set. At this point, I was offered $100 off the sales price, or $300 Ashley store credit, or replacement parts/technician to repair the set sometime in the near future. I find this to be very unacceptable and as such, I will not be doing business with them ever again and I caution anyone else from doing business with Ashley as well.

Purchased living room set and dining room set in May - told by the salesman that they only ever had 1 customer issue with this particular living room set…meanwhile the service tech who came out said it was actually removed from their inventory due to all of the repair claims that were filed. It’s 7 months later and I am still waiting for three pieces of furniture to be repaired. Sometimes it is worth it to go somewhere else and pay a little more to get good customer service before, during and after the sale!

Bought a full living room set Exactly a year ago. The set is complete garbage. We’ve had the “warranty” company come fix it already multiple times. Now that the year is up they are saying we need to reach out to the extended warranty company. They refuse to fix our couch. Even though it now won’t even recline due to electrical issues. And we were told “everything is covered except paws and claws” when purchasing. Reached back out to Ashley themselves. They refuse to do anything. At this point it is more issues than anything. You’d think a 6,000 living room set would be suitable for every day living.

Ordered a bedroom suit and a couch from Ashley’s and somehow they forgot to order slats to the bed. After waiting for the furniture to come in for 2.5 months already, my items were delivered. I got rid of my old bed anticipating receiving a full new bedroom suite upon my delivery date 7/15. The delivery driver realized they didn’t order the slats to the bed. I received a run around from Ashley’s staff for a full week after reporting the issue. Finally after a week of giving me a run around, they ordered the slats from the manufacturer 7/23 and provided me with an estimated window of 2-4 weeks for delivery. In no world would I EVER recommend this place to anyone shopping for furniture (Unless you also would like to be sleeping on a pull out sofa for a month). I now have a useless bed frame with no slats taking up my entire bedroom and the best they can do is 2-4 weeks for boards… absolutely ridiculous. Horrible customer service for such an overpriced store. Would not recommend.

The couch/queen bed was holded together with staples. Broke down within a year! They send someone to fix it broke down again to the other side. I am 180lbs, my wife 140lbs....They said they can't send anymore the technician. Pay a little bit more and buy somewhere else. It's not worth it. A huge shoutout to Jessica for the no pressure buying, but very informative sale. Mary was very energetic and positive and showed us all the sectionals and helped us narrow it down to 2 and ultimately 1. Then, because we were talking about how we shouldn’t feel sore waking up at our age, she said why don’t we check out the beds too. We scouted out some beds and went back and forth and she was very patient until we ultimately walked away with a bed in addition to the originally intended sectional. For being relatively new, you certainly would not know. Jessica led the sale, but she worked alongside Mary and they are truly the dream team. If you are looking for an energetic, positive, and patient saleswoman, then certainly seek out Jessica and Mary!

A++ on the service here! We started out working with Jessica who was extremely helpful in finding furniture for our living room and getting us really excellent pricing. She also made sure to mention the Memorial Day sales on mattresses and as luck would have it we had been considering that too. At that point Mary came and helped find mattresses too and they were both excellent and extremely knowledgeable. We definitely left with more than we came in intending to buy lol but never felt pressured by any means. We had been looking for new dining room furniture for several months. While browsing at Ashley Furniture I began speaking with Darby. My family and I went to Ashley Homestore in Altoona twice in the last week and I have to say that it was a fantastic experience!! Went to look at mattresses on Saturday and ended up stopping at Ashley Furniture in Altoona. I was warmly greeted as soon as entering the store by John and Luke. I was asked questions about the type I was looking for and shown some options. John was very knowledgeable about all of the products and took time to answer all of my questions. I would not have known he was a newer employee had he not mentioned it. I was treated very well by all of the staff, and will be a repeat customer.

He helped my boyfriend and I get approved for an Ashley credit card and when we could not afford the furniture set we wanted he was super kind and did not try to push us on to something we did not want. When it came time for my boyfriend and I to buy a new mattress, Justin was right there and ready to help us. He made the process super easy and gave us suggestions based on when we wanted. Cheapest furniture on the planet. They also don’t honor their “warranties” as they claim. Their parent company in NY has a 1 star rating with the better business bureau. And it’s well deserved, believe me. Avoid Ashley furniture stores at all costs.

We just made our first furniture purchase for our new home, and had a wonderful experience! Our sales rep, Mary Johnson, was patient and incredibly helpful with us as first-time purchasers. She took time to walk us through our various options, and not-to-mention has impeccable taste when it comes to matching colors!! We were in and out in 2 hours, and got everything we needed! We had such a positive experience, and it is undoubtedly due to Mary’s expertise, professionalism and kindness! Would highly recommend this store, and Mary, should you need a hassle-free and positive furniture buying experience!

Friendly, responsive staff but not the place to shop if you are looking for high quality furniture. The prices were reasonable, but it is definitely the Olive Garden of furniture compared to authentic Italian cuisine.

I am giving it two stars because our salesperson was nice and I will not fault her. Yet, we are at our wits ends. We understand Covid is an issue and has caused delays. We were told it could be up to 12 weeks to receive our furniture. We signed an agreement stating we were fine with that and understood. We ordered a couch. recliner. and ottoman back in August. 12 weeks has come and gone and we still have no furniture and no updates. When we have called to check up we have gotten new deadlines like 'The materials for your couch will be there' at the beginning November. 12 week deadline came and I contacted the store. The manager told me "It be best if I take partial orders if offered to make room in their warehouse" ....I am not going to take a partial order. I do not have space in my home to essentially store furniture while I wait for the rest of it. We just want a realistic time line or update where it is. Ordering furniture in August 2020 only to not even be receiving or knowing where it stands until 2021 is so frustrating.

Absolutely do not order from Ashley's. We ordered a full bedroom set back in June and were told 8-12 weeks. Here we are 6 months later and still have not received more than half our bedroom furniture. We've tried to be patient considering Covid could slow down the process but at his point this is absurd. I've called customer service countless times over the past few weeks and the best they could offer was $100 off our order which is a complete joke considering how much we've spent. I called again today since this was the day (once again) the rest of our order was to be in and was again told it's delayed AT LEAST until the end of the month. We are not at all happy with how long this has been delayed and how they are handling things. If they told us 8-12 weeks 6 months ago, imagine how long it will take for orders being placed now or in the near future. Maybe if they cannot keep up with the demands they should not be selling furniture they do not have available. Instead, they lie to you and take your money. Don't waste your time or money here.

Tried to be understanding with Covid but was VERY disappointed with how things were handled. Ordered a recliner back in July, was told 8-12 weeks for it to be delivered. We were figuring the second weekend in November. I haven’t heard anything since September 15, so when I sent a text I received a phone call. Our recliner has been discontinued. But please come in to pick another one. I WILL NOT wait months for them to “order” another one. I am glad I didn’t put money down.

This store has a bank the finance your furniture and the just charge me $840 in interest rate for $600 credit that i own. They're not having consideration that we straggling with the pandemic of covid-19. While the government is helping people to pay their bill the bank that finance with Ashley has the fucking ball to charge you with their interest rate. And top of all when i call the bank they treated me. This people are robes you of your saving. This bank that finance Ashley should be in prison for doung this type of fraud. Very disappointed with my product and how they handle their customer service in store. They were very polite when I first went. Since getting the bed I've had nothing but issues with my bed and the customer service has been very rude ever since.

Tony clearly knows what he’s doing when it comes to professionalism, customer service, and product knowledge. I work in sales, so when I am around other sales people, I often critique (in my head) as to what I would do in that scenario. With Tony, I wouldn’t change a thing. Made me feel comfortable and confident in my purchases (and they weren’t small by any means.) It was a pleasant experience, and I will for sure recommend him and their showrooms to anyone in the market. Clean, professional, and didn’t make me feel pressured. 6 stars from me! Purchase date was 4/20/2020 with a delivery date of 6-7 weeks. Those terms were part of the sales agreement which are: (1) I agreed to pay the price and (2) Ashley agreed to produce the furniture within that time frame. My money was removed from my account the moment I bought the furniture. Now I have a delivery date of 8/4/2020 which is clearly out of the time frame I agreed to when I purchased the furniture. My wife asked for compensation (shipping costs) and was told by the delivery company it is not their fault due to the popularity of the furniture causing delays, however, we did get the ottoman which accompanies the set well within the time frame set forth in the sales agreement. Compensation should be mandated by any production company who can’t fulfill their expectations as set forth in the sales agreement. If a consumer does not make their payments then the companies seek civil restitution in the courts by suing the individuals not making their payments. Where is the accountability for the large companies who are in violation of their sales agreements? I will be seeking restitution through the civil courts and believe a class action suite should be filed. This is not an uncommon occurrence with Ashely and Wellsville Carpet Twn Inc dba Ashley Furniture HomeStore. My sales order number is 725003437460.

Purchased my sectional on February 21st 2020. Was to be delivered the first week of March. I completely understand that COVID shut down everything but after spending $1,200.00 the lest I could have gotten was a phone call or email saying that the delivery wouldn’t be made. Radio silence from them until around mid May. Awesome, we were scheduling a new delivery date. Then she says how about June 16th! What? That’s another month! I was upset and mad but I tried to understand they were probably backed up and doing their best. Until I receive a call on June 12th! It seems that part of my sectional is on back order? What? They could deliver one part of it to me on the 16th if I’d like! I don’t even know how that would’ve worked or looked but no, I want the whole sectional I paid for all at once. So she wants to set up a new delivery date. June 23rd! Ashley furniture, my couch better be here, all of it on June 23rd or I will personally come and pick up the showroom model myself.

This was my first time investing in furniture and I was a little intimidated to even go in but she made my shopping experience super comfortable and helped me brain storm with things I didn't even think about originally. Purchased a table and chairs at Ashley Furniture Store in Altoona, Pa in February. The table was delivered on March 6th and by the end of March the finish was peeling off. We could not contact the store, due to Covid19, until recently. We contact their corporate office and warranty division and both refused to either exchange or reimburse us for the damage product. Failure to take care of their customers only lends to a bad reputation. We will NOT ever purchase anything there again.

it took me 6months to get my furniture so I cancel my furniture and when I asked for the full rebate back I took off $200 because of the tax sale and the time of the delivery this is the worst place I ever had to deal with trying to get furniture I've took my furniture out now two times and had to bring them back in because they will send you a confirmation time and then the next within 24 hours they send me another one tell me I have to wait another month and a half and that when I talk to somebody higher up I cannot go back to the store and get my money back they have to send me a check

Mr. Tony was extremely patient and knowledgeable about all the merchandise in the store. He was very personable, friendly and not overly eager for a sale. My family and I spent over three hours trying to decide how to furnish each room of the new house. We went through every room and chose carefully because buying furniture is an investment. This is not just a house it’s a home; a place of sanctuary and Mr. Tony realized it was a process. He allowed time to consult and took the time to go over protection plans, warranties, pricing and all. My family and I left the store confident about the purchases and never had buyers remorse. I bought a table with warranty. Table got damaged and they sent a refund to Ashley’s. They told me no Expiration date and now the refund is gone!! Don’t by any warranty I recommend you go so more where else. Looks like I’m buying my sons bedroom suite somewhere else.

After placing the order....it became a back order and we wouldn't have it until Dec 28th. Got a call Dec 26th (the rails aren't done) changed delivery to January 3rd. Got a call Jan 2nd, rails still not done. Changed delivery to January 11th. Oops....rails still not done....delivery changed to January 17th.... January 13th....another call rails still not done....changed to January 29th. I told them if it's not here by the 29th ....cancel my order. Personally called them January 21st...everything is on schedule for the 29th (rails still not done). Low and behold they called today ( Jan23rd) to schedule the delivery BUT NOW there is only one night stand instead of 2. IM DONE WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE. CANCELLED MY ORDER. WIILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM.

The first item we purchased was a dining room table over a year ago, thebitem came in over a month after we paid for it 2 weeks after we were initially told it would arrive and the delivery men smashed my wall bringing the table in. Now today was supposed to be my the day my new couch was delivered however when I called to confirm a time they tell me the couch is "still in prodiction" and won't be delivered until after Christmas! And if the 3 hour window they have to deliver isn't convenient for me I need to give them a 4 day heads up... unbelievable. Sales people have always been helpful but this is just bad business will never shop here again

My furniture was scheduled to be delivered Nov 30th between 10 and 1. I then received a call that my furniture would not be delivered until December 28th. I was told it would take approximately 3 weeks for delivery when I ordered. My love seat is on a truck but I have to wait an additional 3 weeks! I won't be purchasing anything here again I would have gone elsewhere from the beginning if I would have known it would take almost 2 months for delivery. runaround from the customer service in scheduling. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

I would give this nothing if I could.. while the people in the store and friendly and helpful corporate and manufacturing are a NIGHTMARE. I seriously would not purchase from them EVER AGAIN. Ordered couch, loveseat, coffee table, and end table almost the end of September.. we were given a delvery date of October 31st.. 3 days prior to delivery I receive a phone call that it has been "delayed on the assembly line" until November 15th .. a little frustrating but whatever.. call 11/5 just for an update.. IT'S DELAYED STILL ON THE ASSEMBLY LINE UNTIL NOVEMBER 27TH .. they give you the run around and don't give you a direct answer .. Hell, they couldn't even find my information even though I provided phone number address name and whatnot.

Stephanie was so easy to work with when we decided to purchase our couch! She helped us through the process and was very sweet! We called the store and spoke to Tony two nights ago who assured us that even though the couch we loved wasn’t physically at the store, they could still help us and order the perfect couch when we came in. Horrible customer service and lies. I caught them in a few. The worst one being a $200 addition to my bill that I was told nothing about and they couldn't provide a signature that I had. I will never do business with them again. Ps. I called customer service multiple times at the store and the corporate offices and not a single one could give me a straight answer about anything. So when the person that replies to these saying call our corporate offices, just know that I did... A lot! Every single person in this company that I talked to is shady.

Everyone in the store was great. However everything since then has been extremely frustrating. I ordered my furniture on June 24th and still have not received my loveseat or recliner. They told me over a month ago that my loveseat would be here on Sept 3, but they just called to tell me it would be another 3 weeks....so they say. While I was waiting for my furniture they discontinued the recliner. It's unfortunate that the professionalism of the staff in altoona cannot carry on to the manufacturing/corporate end of the company. Don't go in the store expecting to get the items you pick out in a timely manner.

We bought a dining room table and chairs with the extra insurance in less than one year the finish started chipping off in chunks we called and said that it must be a finish problem and without coming to see it we was told it's our fault. So after many many calls and complaining we finally got someone to come and look at it they came and used a marker and colored the big chip marks I was amazed how bad it was and the fact that they tried to fix like this. It ended because I just don't want to deal with them anymore you shouldn't buy anything from them it's all junk from my point of view and no one will stand behind what they sell we have our old table that's 8 years old and it's finish looks great and the one we bought from them is junk in less than one year. Beware of this place and the insurance is not worth one dollar

I'm not even sure where to begin in regards to my experience with Ashley HomeStore. Our sales rep Ashley M. is AMAZING! They are SO lucky to have her working with them. From the MOMENT I called and asked some questions she was there for me 100%. She followed up with me, confirmed the appointment, made arrangements to meet me, and was there waiting when we arrived with TWO very ROWDY kids. She never even blinked an eye. She worked with us while the kids were "bored". She gave them things to do, asked them questions, and got them involved. I had concerns, she took care of them with grace and didn't make me feel awkward for asking or for having them. She guided my family into an amazing experience and we cannot wait for delivery of our furniture. She took something I was disappointed about (finding a deal online and finding out we can only get those online not in store) and made it one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. From her customer service alone I will be back. She is amazing, cares, and is knowledgeable. Truly an asset to the store. Thank you for everything Ashley, we'll see you again in a few months for another room of furniture! :)

Very helpful staff

Ashley (the sales rep) could not have been more helpful. We came in looking for a bookcase, and after looking in store and online, had several options to mull over. But as it turned out we found an outstanding table and chairs that had to come home. Ashley (again, the person) was very knowledgeable with the delivery options and helped choose the best for my schedule and budget. Ashley (the store this time) won't disappoint.

Ashley (sales rep), convenient right, was absolutely wonderful in helping find our next piece for our home. We came in looking for storage pieces, she showed us options on the floor, items we could order online using a large interactive screen right inside the building, and even showed a piece that just showed up that hadn’t even made it to the show floor. We actually ended up finding a dining room set with an expandable table! She was super helpful in answering all of our questions throughout our adventure in finding a new addition to our home. If you’re looking for a new addition to your home I absolutely recommend asking for Ashley to help you on your journey to find missing piece for your home. :)

The warranty stinks. My daughter bought me a lift chair 2 years ago for Mother’s Day. The undercarriage snapped and took 5 1/2 months until they got it fixed. But here we go again, chair snapped again on Memorial Day and I’m into the extended warranty now. I called the next day but they have no open appointments, my daughter called and explained the chair is needed medically, so they got an appointment for yesterday, 1 week after I called, the guy was in an accident and can’t come, which is understandable, so I want another appointment with another technician but guess what?? No open appointments!! Biggest bunch of bull with this company. All they know how to say is ‘I’m sorry’, no your not sorry, you’re not sorry for anything.

We loved our experience at Ashley Furniture thanks to Shawnna! My husband and I went furniture shopping for the new house we are moving into, neither of us had ever bought brand new furniture and we weren't sure 100% what we wanted but we knew it had to durable as we have a 1.5 year old. Shawnna helped us find exactly what we needed, giving personal recommendations about what works with her kids! She also got us set up with a protection plan that insures that we have are covered no matter what our little one does! Thanks Shawnna we can't wait for delivery!

Once the sale is complete that is the end of your customer service. Delivery was late by over a month. Once they delivered our furniture, they brought the wrong stuff and were missing items. The things they did deliver were damaged and horrible quality. Cancelled and returned our whole order. It only took 35 bounced around phone calls and 34 rude people to get it scheduled to be picked up. We will NEVER do business with this sorry excuse for a company. We anticipated this furniture for over two months just to be delivered a bunch of incorrect garbage.

The folks working the sales floor are amazing, however, after my experience I have learned that the corporate end of this company is flawed and not helpful. Our furniture has been delayed twice now, and the only thing they can offer is money that will come with our delivery...which has been just shy of two months now. We will never purchase from this company again.

We went in today to buy our mattress and bedroom set. Ashley helped us throughout the process. She is so helpful and made it easy for us to make our decisions and made it easy for us to finalize our purchase. I would highly recommend them and will return in the future.

Our sales person Anthony was great! Very helpful and professional! That is the only experience that was pleasant. After ordering and confirming delivery date of our new living room furniture we hauled away our old furniture 5 days prior to delivery. This was almost two weeks after we ordered. The next day we received a phone call that it would be an additional two weeks after my wife and I both scheduled a day off from work. I question why you wouldn’t know you had a back order at the time of ordering or a few days after the the order was placed. Obviously a communication issue from reading other reviews has never been addressed! I only wish I would have read reviews before choosing Ashley over 4 other furniture stores in the area!

We just came home after making several purchases and we were not only satisfied with our purchases, but, very pleased with the excellent service we received from the sales associate named Ashley!

At first I gave them 5 stars for their customer service at the store...but once you get your furniture dont expect anything after that once you need it fixed. When my couch was delievered it had 2 things right off the bat that needed fixed. I called the warranty number...almost 4 months later still no one can come fix my couch because they dont have any available technicians in our area...ever. Do not buy from here unless you want to waste your money on junk that they wont fix even when it came delivered that way!!!

Salesman Mike greeted us as we entered and asked us what we were looking for. He told us the layout of the store and about their promotions. I love that Mike didn't crowd us while we were browsing. He kept his distance and approached us after we had made our way back to one particular couch. We ended up making a selection and he was very helpful and made the shopping experience easy and seamless.

Our experience in store was great. Everyone that helped us was very informative and gave us great deals and finacing. We chose to pay for delivery service. We bought furniture to fill our home as we just built. Our furniture was delivered and our living room sectional was the wrong configuration. No big deal, we are humans and people make mistakes. I called to inform customer service that we needed the opposite configuration. The rep I spoke with was very nice and seemed very helpful. She told me she would call to inform us of expected delivery. 2 weeks went by and I never received a call. I called them. The woman I spoke to reviewed our account and told us they were waiting for us to call them for delivery? Ok. In short, we waited a month for the correct sectional to be delivered. The day of delivery the truck driver called me. He said “we have your beige sectional for delivery today”. Wait what. Beige? No we ordered a charcoal sectional. The initial lady I spoke with ordered the wrong color. Here we are almost 2 months without correct seating in our living room. In conclusion: repeat your order over and over and over again before it’s submitted. Ridiculous mistakes have been made on our orders. We won’t buy from Ashley again.

My wife and I stopped in Altoona store on a Sunday afternoon and they were not busy at all not one sales staff asked if we needed help. Wife was looking at a sectional and salesman said center section can come out. My wife told him what she was looking for and he told her he didn’t think he could help her with that and walked away. We didn’t feel welcome at all. We later stopped at park home furniture at almost closing salesperson asked if we needed help we told her what we were looking for and she was very willing to help us she even stayed with us 25 minutes after closing without us purchasing anything at that time because we needed to double check some measurements. We won’t go back to Ashley or recommend to friends

Throughout our furniture shopping experience at Ashley Home Store, we worked with Michelle and Taylor. Both ladies were absolutely fantastic to work with. They were expeditious, detail oriented and friendly. We encountered a few very minor issues and they were resolved wholly and accurately within minutes of informing the sales team. The manager and manager-in-training introduced themselves and made our sales experience all that more personal. The delivery crew made our lives so much easier on delivery day. We were greeted by a Saleswomen that was very pleasant and asked us if there was anything that she could help us with. Ordered entire living room set plus other furniture from Ashley on November 10. Was told we would receive furniture first week of December. Called the main office and was told that we would not receive furniture until December 28. I took off work on this day to ensure that i would be home for the delivery. Today Ashley homestore called with an ‘urgent phone call’ that our order is ALL on back order and the EARLIEST we will get anything is in February. Just recently bought a house, was expecting to have my furniture in beginning of December now am told i have to wait until February. The individuals themselves at the Altoona store were fantastic but dealing with everything else through Ashley furniture has been a disaster and i will never order from here again. I am very disappointed that i have been pushed back this many times and have already cancelled two house warming parties due to their inability to provide a reliable delivery date. Update: it is now APRIL and i still have not received all of my furniture. They keep calling and saying that it is ‘delayed’. This has been the absolute WORST company to deal with. I will NEVER recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone!!
