I been buying furniture at Ashley Furniture chains for over 10 years this is my second purchase from this Ashley Furniture store in Bensalem, PA and I must say the first time to this location couple years ago was a good experience. The second time made me not want to ever do business with this Ashley furniture store regardless of how great of a quality their furniture is. I spent over a 1000 dollars in cash (not much) but it’s my hard earned money and I expect what I was promised a delivery date approximately 3 weeks later. I told them I can only get delivery on the weekend so they promised me it Saturday that followed when my furniture came in. I didn’t mind waiting a few extra days as long as I got it on that Saturday. I got a phone call from the delivery scheduler on a Monday confirming all my furniture was in warehouse and ready to be delivered. It was a couple days earlier than they had estimated it to arrive so I was excited until they told be the next available delivery wasn’t until the following Monday. I said to the scheduler I was told I will have it delivered on the Saturday after it came in. That I specified that I can not except delivery during the week. She insisted I can’t get it on that Saturday I was promised and continued to tell me they can deliver it on the following Monday. I told her I want to speak to the store manager she tried connecting me with no success. I told her I will be stopping in the store after I get from work to clear up this miscommunication. I stopped in the Store talk to the Manager Reggio and I told him my situation. He was like there is nothing he can do regarding the delivery date and I can’t get it this Saturday but he can try for the following Saturday. I said no that is not acceptable I was promised it on this Saturday three weeks prior please I need it this weekend, I said. He seemed unbothered by my frustration and said there is nothing he can do for me. I immediately asked for my money back a refund because with his no care attitude after I gave them my business I realized I don’t need broken promises and most important a place that my concerns don’t matter. It’s been 4 weeks later since I cancelled my order and the manager told me it will be 30 days before I can get a check in the mail when it clearly states it will take up to 21 days on the back of the receipt. I still haven’t received anything in the mail from them. They said they issued my check two weeks ago. Stop holding my money and it to me now! WHERE IS MY MONEY!!!!

Bought about 13k worth of furniture on July 6th from here. My move in date was August 20th which i clearly stated. I was told by both the sales person and the Manager Reggie my furnitureis available and ready to ship.Every other day they would call me to ask when i would like to schedule to have my furniture delivered. I told them each time my move in date yet they continued to so. I was not bothered by this but what got me is three days before my move in date l received a call again from them telling me that i would only receive 80% of my furniture because the other furniture was delayed. All the times they called I asked if the furniture was available and was promised everything would be delivered! No one stated there were any problems with delays. On top of this issue, each time i went in, i had to wait 2+ hours because their system was either down or was slow at the time. That wasn't it; I had to go back to get additional furniture 2 days before my move in date. I was specifically clear once again that i needed the furniture to be delivered on Saturday (i went in on Tuesday). Reggie the Manager once again told me not to worry that my nightstands and 2 mattresses i ordered would be delivered Saturday morning? Guess what happened? Their system was down again and promises were broken. I had to go get the mattresses myself at their warehouse that Saturday and my nightstands i was told were ready to ship were backordered until September 18th. Here we are in September and finally received them September 16th yay! 2 days earlier. Horrible way to do business and Reggie dissappeared and didnt even bother to call back after this mishap. All i got was "shipping and delivery is out of my control ". Never going back to this place. The furniture is awesome and good quality but the sales and Managers running the Bensalem store need additional training on how to deal with customer issues. Again, great furniture and good deals but not worth spending your money there when they dont appreciate your business!
Right now I am not very happy with this store. They did not deliver my accent chairs. There were 2 different invoices and only 1 was shipped. After 3 phone calls and two promised return phone calls, I have not received the promised phone calls and I still have no accent chairs I am beginning to wonder if my chairs have been resold. Not fun sifting on kitchen chairs.
