I needed to replace my living furniture so, I started looking around for a good replacement furniture and ended up going to this Ashley furniture outlet. I met James who showed me the inventory. Although his interaction was not too pleasant, I ended up settling for a particular leather color set without the recliner. There was a promo going on which required your email to be on file. Although I was informed of the promo, James refused to ask for my email so the 100 gift card could be sent to me as stated on the promo. I returned to the store several days later to purchase the recliner and Mr James was the sales associate that wrote up my receipt. He however refused to inform me that the recliner I was paying for was not in stock nor did he provide the necessary services that one should expect of a Sales associate during such transactions. I had to call the store several times to update my email and to find out why my furniture has not arrived. I was informed that James, the sales associate would call to update me the next day, no call ever came from him or the store. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service so far and hope I get a resolution to when my recliner and $200 gift cards for two purchases would be issues.

I was aware of Ashley Furniture's positive reputation, and so I went to the Ashley Furniture Outlet store in nearby Clifton Heights, PA. My family & I were greeted by Associate Ms. Sanae K., who was a delight; knowledgeable, professional, patient & personable. The showroom had excellent selections & Sanae helped us see more options on-line. We will be putting down a deposit for living room + dining room pieces which will be purchased when my move is in place. We went to Ashley Clifton Heights to check a color out for a possible living room set. Dan was very nice and extremely helpful. We were able to close the deal thanks to him and another man who helped with figuring out whether the furniture would fit or not. Sorry did not know his name. Final step was with James doing the paperwork and we were done. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The entire experience was seemless. Highly recommend Ashley Clifton Heights and also all Ashley stores!

I recently moved my couch had to come apart it was big in a tiny place. One of the pillows is ruined my fault. So I ordered a part which was incorrect. While waiting for this part I called a lot due to the manager not keeping his word and not updating me they had computer issues. I was calm not raising my voice or anything. I was even told umm the part is suppose to be delivered to you not the store I was mad but kept it together. The manager literally said to me you keep calling a lot….because you suck at communication dude !!! You need to be taught how to be a manager dude !

Horrible experience. Furniture stitching and screws are falling out of luvseat after 6 months. Tech support is horrible and rude.

I am very disappointed in the customer service I have been receiving. I purchased a sectional on July 23, 2024. I was promised delivery within two weeks because it was a special order. Which would have been the first week in August I never received a call so I call them on the 6th of August and was told all the parts haven’t come in yet but it will be delivered by the 14th of August. Today is August 20th and almost one month later I don’t have my sectional they can’t give out any information because their system has been down since Friday August 16th. I have really run out of patience and after reading the reviews I should have never bought nothing from them. Forgot to mention one of the ladies suggested we pick our stuff up from the warehouse. Don’t waste your time or money with this store or company poor management and customer service.

The manager is a lier! Wife was told lamp is in stock and we came back today they only have floor model available. How could they sell two to three same lamps in one night?? Waste of my time!

I recently purchased some furniture from Ashley's and the customer service was great, very attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant service provided.

There were plentiful options. All the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. We did not feel pushed in any way throughout the whole process. Highly recommend! Great inventory and prices

Being nice doesn’t give a pass on terrible customer service and sales reps shouldn’t be punished for terrible management. May of 2023 bought new couches but they sent the wrong ones and had to wait an additional 10 days, was supposed to receive a credit that they tried saying they’d give me if I purchased anything else. By August the casings on the cushions began to fray and had some pulls so called to have replaced which even though I bought the warranty I had to argue it for 2 days. After it was situated I was told 4-6 weeks for the casings, they did not arrive until December in which they sent the wrong side casing for the chaise and didn’t send one of the other cushion casings. It’s now 5 days from June and I’m still waiting on the correct sided casing and other casing in which I was told in December they’d be here by March. After stopping in several times and being told they were ordered, one of the reps last week told me no order was put in back in December when I was told they were and it was just recently placed and put in for rush delivery which was supposed to arrive 5/14. Today is 5/26 and still no word on arrival. Would not recommend this location to anyone

Excellent Service, prices and with free (during the Presidents’ Day sale) delivery and assembly you can’t go wrong, very good selection and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Yousef Ross was our sales associate again and was just as helpful this time as last time. (We purchased a couch about a year ago) I would recommend him and the store to everyone. Not only was he extremely nice and gave us plenty of space to look around but when we decided on what we wanted (5 piece Dining set) he got us a great deal and got us a price better than the labeled sale price! Ashley furniture has become our go to store for all of furniture needs. P.S. beware of raymour and flanigan down the street on Baltimore pike. We went there today as well, and asked if they offered free delivery like Ashley and they said no but that Ashley only delivers it to your door, this is a blatant lie, we had our couch delivered by Ashley and they brought it into our house, assembled it, and cleaned up all the packaging and made sure we were satisfied before they left. Looking forward to the same service this time with the table. So be aware the competition lies.

I went to Ashley furniture outlet this morning to get an idea for a kitchen island, a dining room set , and check out the hybrid mattress. Sanae was the very nice salesperson that greeted me and my husband. She was very informative with helping me understand the differences in the mattresses. She measured the tables length and width for me. Sanae helped my decide on my kitchen island so I purchased that today and it will be delivered Thursday (2 days!). Sanae made it fun instead of stressful even when I confused myself! I came home and measured my dining room space and will be getting the set I saw from Sanae. Very happy with the care and service provided.

Very very disappointed, previously has a money furnished, refered many people to this store. Never again!!! Paid a lot of money for sofa and loveseat was told could be delivered on the day i choose. Once the delivery date was meant I purchased the items then seems like once the got the money the delivery could not be meant. Lots of excuses!! Very disappointed. I will never buy here again

I purchased a mattress yesterday from James. He was very nice and extremely helpful in making my decision. Just as promised the mattress was delivered today. The delivery drivers gave me a 3 hour delivery window and showed up a half hour before. Very seamless process. The delivery drivers were courteous. Thanks James!

I wouldn't give a star. My experience was not a good one. A sale was going on and I was not given the sale price. I was charged for each piece of the sectional instead of the price listed on the furniture tag in store. I was charged an extra $100 dollars on an ottoman and when questioning sales, i was told that the ottom I was receiving was larger than the one in the showroom. I asked the sales person to pull up the item and he was unable to find the item showing the larger size. I am very displeased with the service, being overcharged. Sales people try and move quickly and speaking quickly to make the sale..I will be getting a refund and taking my hard earned money elsewhere. Please pay attention to prices and fees when making these purchases

Asked for and thought I bought a 4 PC. King bedroom set. Paid the bill and when the furniture arrived, I was told by the delivery group that the dresser was on backorder. I called the store since I haven't received a notification of a backorder. The store representative stated that I didn't purchase the dresser, only the other 3 pieces. I stated that I asked for and was priced for the 4 PC set. The representative said that I would need to speak to the sales person but he was currently unavailable. He would have him call me back. 4 days later, I'm still waiting for the callback. Bait and switch from this store. Be very diligence in going over your purchase paperwork if you dare to purchase from them.

I stopped in the Ashley store on Baltimore Pike in Philly one day, and ended up leaving with the perfect bedroom dresser set. The associates were extremely nice, and super helpful. The prices were to my liking and actually less expensive than what I had seen in other stores. The delivery was smooth, the products came already put together and neatly wrapped in plastic wrap.

My experience at Ashley Outlet Store was excited in that the staff are friendly and very patient in answering questions. They are also willing to go extra mile in explaining to you in detail.

Shopping for my daughters new bed, we tested mattresses and she picked the one she wanted. Purple Hybrid keeps you cool and has more bounce. We got the adjustable base because Ashley created a 60 month payment plan at 0%. We are very grateful to the manager, who gave us a bright orange folder with all the paperwork. Now I get a message that we are finally sleeping thru the night. Thanks Ashley Outlet!

I had ordered a bed in july and it had been 4 months almost and they kept delaying the date.

So I was ordering the 12 Chime mattress offline but the delivery’ was a few days away (4 day delivery window ) so I decided to call store I called store they said they honor online price and the delivery would be next day just come in. I come in and of course when I ask for the best day delivery the store manager tells me that’s not how it works I explained to him that I would told that by an employee over the phone he says I’m going to have to talk with that employee I think I know exactly who it was because he shouldn’t have told you that I said well I’m sure he was just trying to get me in the store he said no we don’t play games I said ok I proceed to tell him well online they gave me a 5% discount (14.50 off) as well since you guys can’t deliver it sooner then online can you still honor the coupon he says no. He wouldn’t be able too so I proceed to wait for total the total without discount online is $311.01 and his store price was $313 now that’s only two dollars more expensive but (at this point it’s about principle and customer service you guys wasted my time after lying to me on the phone ) your delivery window is the same as online, and you can’t honor the 5% online discount and your price is $2 higher then online. Not to mention I’m not sure if there would have been an additional delivery fee which online there isn’t. I left with out item and ordered online instead. I still recieved my item but I felt like a detailed review of the store location was necessary this is not a reflection on Ashley furniture as a whole but just the Baltimore pike location

Will never be shopping with Ashley Furniture again! Location: 5300 W Baltimore Pike, Clifton Heights, PA 19018Representative: James, Store Manger (did not provide last name). Bought a set back in 9/20/21. The bench for the set was delayed "due to Covid" multiple times. My original delay date was February 2022, then end of March 2022, and then I was told July 2022 until I finally said "No, I want to return the set at this point." Now, they want to deliver the bench this Saturday. I can no longer return the furniture that was already delivered because it's "been in the house for months, the company has no control over the delays, and it was my 'choice' to keep waiting for the furniture." The best they can do is return the $170 bench I never recieved. The set should have never been offered to be delivered incomplete if the company knew they wouldn't have any accurate timeline. Instead, they drug out these delays and are throwing "company policy" in my face. It's unprofessional to throw "company policy" in a customers face when these delays were blamed on a pandemic issuse. How is this the customers fault? I gave this company the benefit of the doubt and got scammed by "company policy". What's your "company policy" on Covid delays? How is it the customers fault to keep waiting for a piece that they are told would be deliverers within 3 months and then got pushed out AN ENTIRE YEAR "due to Covid"? If the company was unsure of delays, that should have been specified before having a customer accept an incomplete set. But it's the customers fault for accepting the incomplete set and it's the customers fault for also for Covid delays, right?Never again! Using a pandemic against a customer is unprofessiona, tasteless, and absolutely foul business! The only good experience of this entire thing was dealing with the sales associate, Calvin. He was a very decent guy and did his job well.

I went one night to check out bedroom sets. I was not greeted upon entering. There were 3 employees at front desk. I walked the entire store noone approached me, asked if I needed assistance etc. Even as I left the store noone spoke. I've worked in customer service for years. It's just common courtesy and common sense to greet EVERY customer and check on them for obvious reasons such as potential sales. I decided to not shop here at all. Even though I seen a set I really liked, I rather take my money elsewhere and be treated with respect.

Last week I went to purchase a recliner it was 1600 and some change. The following week they had a sale, the price went up to 1700 and some change they are rip off the representative was nice. But is not his company. What kind of sale was that? Everyone's using covid. To make everything goes up Don't go there They are just taking your money and using covid for an excuse.

I went into the store and was greated right away by Shelly which was very nice. The store didn't have exactly what I was looking for. However, she informed me of other items that may be online as well for their store and gave me many options. Nice first time experience here.

I loved my experience here. Marsha was extremely helpful and professional. Prices are great and there's a lot of options. I went to purchase this set just before COVID hit and the world shut down. However this business did a horrible job with communication and keeping me the customer posted. The set I ordered was sold threw many retail outlets and was very popular. It seems that Ashley sold more than they anticipated which created such a backlog for delivery that I waited over 7 months. I received 1 call to update me at which time I was told to I had to wait another month before delivery. Once delivered I still am in love with my purchase. Not sure if I will buy anything else from Ashley furniture outlet store or recommend them to anyone due to poor communication from the customer service department.

We were looking for a king bed and apparently this time of year they are either really hard to find or Delivery takes up to 13 weeks. The sales associate, Vince, helped us find the best option that was in stock! After double measuring at home and comparing prices, we returned to Ashley's outlet and Kalvin checked us out in 30 minutes! The delivery is only days away and we are so relieved! Both wonderful service and great prices! Highly reccomend!!

Purchased lg picture, saw a kitchen set w/ceramic fruit set on it. In love w/combination went back & purchased table but ceramic fruit set wasnt there, ran to grant location, sales person bubble wrapped. I waited for table to come. Table set arrived, unwrapped ceramic fruit set to place on table 3 shelf. It was broken inside bubble wrapping. Called store, wk later recd msg to pick up ceramic fruit set. i went & was told i picked up item yesterday. I called store 4xs for mgr. They gave me run around for wk. Finally talked to mgr, he was unwilling to understand my situation, which made me upset. Next day i went to another Ashley to purchase ceramic again. They mentioned its a fragile item. They didnt have correct set, so they called nj loc, who said they could not send to store cause its fragile, we had to come to nj store. Every Ashley store knew its a fragile item but me. Grant location knew also & bubbled wrapped & gave to me broken. They refuse to reimburse me

Was greeted by Kalvin and told if we needed assistance to let him know. We then began looking around and found couch, chair, chaise lounge in the color wanted. After we found another piece of furniture we talked numbers and was able to get the furniture quicker than the 2 month wait due to the furniture being in stock. My experience was very good, never felt pressured.

Do not order from here. The people that worked there were nice but the process after the fact was miserable. We had a 3-7 window for delivery people to come with our furniture. They came almost an hour late with no notice. Two of our pieces of furniture were badly damaged and had to be returned so now we have to wait even longer. The nightstand drawer was installed crooked and all my furniture had scratches in the wood. I called for a week to finally get customer service to answer me. Finally one of the guys on the phone told me I would not be getting refunded any money AFTER sending 6 pictures of all of the damage on my items I was KEEPINg because I did not feel like waiting any longer to get a bed set.

I suffered an injury that left both of my feet swollen. My doctor said I should keep my feel elevated for several hours a day. I went here hoping to get an ottoman or foot rest. I was told they sell them but not at the store-I had to look at their catalog and if what I wanted was in the warehouse I could have it within a week. If hat I wanted wasn't in the warehouse it would take several weeks. Seriously??? I went next door to Home Depot and bought a step stool. It's ugly but it works and I took it home with me.

My experience today with Ashley was fantastic. We had Josh as a service professional and he was exactly that a professional. He was very welcoming and gave me space to make very important decisions. He also was able to lend a very helpful hand while reviewing dimensions and making decisions for our future home. I’ve been to multiple furniture stores over the past couple weeks and we were treated very well by all associates. I’m a little picky when it comes high price purchases and I was very impressed with how Josh and his team handled our business today. Kudos to them and we look forward to seeing them in the future as we continue to outfit our new apartment! Thank you Josh we will be back soon!

While I love the furniture we just got. The delivery I am not entirely happy about. We have a veteran flag on my lawn and they bent it and broke it. They also were moving so fast they almost knocked my tv over.

We were able to furnish a 2 bedroom apartment very quickly with her knowledge and expertise. Go visit Shaina. She is the best!

My husband and I purchased a mattress from this store and we did not have a good experience. The mattress was sunk in and gave my husband a backache within 5 days of sleeping on it. We tried to return it to Ashley but they insist that they will not take it back unless we pay a re-stocking fee and a disposal fee. We have never heard of a store that charges both fees in order to take a product back. I asked the customer service manager, Lauren, how it was that they would charge both fees and she said that's what's required. I asked her if they would be disposing of the mattress or re-stocking it. She could not give a clear answer but insisted that was the policy. It is outrageous that a company would charge both fees! Not to mention the fact that the mattress sunk in within five days of sleeping on it. I should mention that they had their 'mattress doctor' come out to our house to check the mattress. This 'doctor' wrote up a false report saying that our box spring was the problem because he could see an indentation in the box spring. Both my husband and I were standing right next to him and did not see any indentation. We pointed this out to him but he did not care. He kept saying there was an indentation and that the reason for the defect was not the mattress but the box spring. Our box spring was fine. We have used it before with our old mattress and there was no sink. Our old mattress got soiled and we wanted to change to a new one. We did not expect to be treated this way especially at this time when there's CovID 19 and financial difficulty. We purposefully went to Ashley expecting to be treated well but were sorely disappointed. It was unbelievable!! We most certainly will never buy a mattress or anything else from Ashley store ever again. We say buyer beware!

Over priced for an outlet

Well they are online showroom floor is more exciting than the actual showroom floor in the store but thank God for modern technology because they're flesh green monitors where you can pull up the website and look through their catalogs, my salesperson was excellent and his knowledge of what I bought I was buying a bed and it cost me about $1,300 not bad huh

We went to Ashley after going to several other furniture stores and not finding anything. We found everything we wanted at Ashley with the help of our wonderful sales girl Shana. She was so helpful to us. She was patient with us changing our minds a lot and wasn't pushy. She spent 4 hours with us and was great!! Thank you Shana for a great furniture shopping experience!!

I actually went in to purchase 2 chairs. With the efficient and excellent service from Calvin and his awesome customer service I ended up purchasing 2 mattresses and a kitchen set. Calvin was very helpful and pleasant and an excellent person to represent Ashley Furniture. I’d definitely buy from your store again.

Not much to look at

Ordered the 4 dining chairs. Shayna took the order and confirmed that delivery would come in 3 days. The chairs took more than a week to get delivered even after confirming the delivery twice. The does not care about schedules of customers. The delivery scheduler tried to impose specific times or threatened to cancel the order. The manager felt it was funny that the order was getting late and never provided updates. They feel its only customer's responsibility to followup even after not scheduling the deliveries.

Walked in and was immediately greeted by Kalvin. He was extremely helpful in finding us a dresser we wanted in stock. Much better experience and saved $400 over Bob's.

I’ve shopped around a lot and finally found something I really liked at a decent price. All of the staff were friendly and professional, not pushy at all. Kalvin was my sales associate and he took the time to answer any questions and was a pleasure to deal with.

I came in here looking for console tables. When I walked in you can tell that the workers did not want to get up and help. They were all sitting and no one wanted to get up. Finally a sales person got up and asked if I needed help. She then proceeded to take me in the back and showed me one table and I told me to look at the screen if I wanted see anything else. I asked her about a couple of others tables then I proceeded to the front door you could tell she didnt want to work. As I was walking out. I stopped and look at something else after I was standing there for over ten minutes she decided to come over to us to see if I needed any help. NO THANK YOU!. I left the store

I'm looking for new living room furniture. So I decided to visit Ashley's HomeStore on Baltimore Pike since the customer service at Bob's Discount didn't make me happy. I had the pleasure of speaking to Shaina Nieves while in the store. She was awesome. If you're going to pay your hard-earned money, then the customer service should be on point. Based on the customer service and Ashley's having what I need (I have to wait until November since items are on backorder), I will go back and purchase my items. Thank you, Shaina Nieves. Even though it might be a bit pricey for some, it's a really good store. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the products are great quality. So despite the prices, it's an awesome furniture store but in my opinion and own personal experience, you get what you pay for hence why I'm giving Ashley's a 5 star review!

For starters the staff was mostly helpful, there were a few quirks that can be worked out but we're all human right? My less than satisfactory rating is largely due to the quality to price ratio. To be fair, Ashley does offer a comprehensive warranty-like service that is really top notch. In addition they manufacture their own products and delivery and assemble is available to consumers. Overall I would like to see them bring better quality products to the table for the prices I had to digest in disbelief.

I purchased a furniture set along with a warranty, that has been nothing but a nightmare. The reclining love seat was poorly assembled. I contacted the warranty department and arranged for a tech to come a fix it. Well of course the foot rest was in worse shape after the tech left. It should not take slamming the foot rest several times for it to latch on and sometimes it unlatches by itself. Well I had to call the warranty department again and darn near had to curse them out to get a replacement reclining loveseat. I am now waiting for the replacement to be available so that a delivery date can be arranged. I will post an update. I hope that no one has had a bad experience with this furniture store. I will never go back.

You should be very cautious of the price you pay for furniture here. I stopped in looking for a table. I ended up being quoted nearly $700 for it; the same table on the same day (with identical photos, so it’s the same one) was on Target for $419 and Raymour & Flanigan for $370. When I told them the price difference, the grumpy manager huffed and puffed before price matching the table, but then raising their delivery rates to account for some of their “loss.” I’ll be making my purchase elsewhere. Also, like a previous reviewer said, it seems to my from my experience that these aren’t discounted items sent over from the real Ashley store. At least some of these items are made for the outlets, complete with cheaper quality base wood and thin, wood veneer.

We purchased a bedroom set, not even two months in a large piece of wood going across the bottom of the dresser literally fell off. From what it looks like, the type of compressed wood that was used for the bedroom set seems of a lesser quality than we expected. With that said we became very disappointed with this purchase given the price we paid for this set it seemed like a great deal. We decided on purchasing a warranty to have peace of mind (so we thought). It’s been a week now and haven’t heard anything back after sending pictures, per the warranty companies request. I decided to give the store a call, they told us over the phone all sales are final no returns or exchanges permitted. We asked to speak to a manager, they took down our number—however we never got a call back. This has been a very disappointing experience. We have a bed room set and warranty included and can’t seem to get this repaired. Literally makes me wonder what was the warranty even for. We were skeptical at first however we were open minded coming into this purchase however from what it looks like, Ashley Furniture will not get any future business from us going forward.

This is a great store... got my furniture here and it fits SO well with my home. My girl loves it and she made me write this review on here lol 😂 Everyone was so friendly to me when I came in and gave me what I wanted. I worked with Steven and he gave us a great deal on my sectional and my bed set. Like he even gave us a discount and gave us free delivery just because he is nice. 10/10 great guy.
