Dreadful customer service from GM. Purchased a couch and oversized chair, contracted moving company tried to slap me with a previously unmentioned $350 charge on top of the $2200 I had already spent. Had to chase down every single call for about a week to get issue fixed. Instead of finding a solution to both of our benefit, I am being forced into refunding said transaction. Disappointed. Salesman was fine.

I just bought a 3 piece living room set at Ashley’s Furniture in Downingtown. It took me 3 visits before I made a decision only because I wanted to make sure Ashley’s was the best store to purchase my furniture. It is!!! I checked in stores and websites. Not only are Ashley’s prices reasonable, their Staff goes above and beyond to help you find exactly what you want. We went in as browsing customers and came out feeling like family and SO happy we found a furniture store perfect for us. We can’t thank you enough John, Jailynn, and Sean for your help, patience and being there when we needed help without stalking. What a GREAT team!!! We’ll be back soon!!

Our interactions with Darryl were wonderful he was open and honest with us and informative. He helped us make our decision on a mattress by talking to us and asking questions about what we wanted and what we liked

I needed an adjustable bed quickly for a family member returning from the hospital and knew very little about what features to look for. Without even going into the store, the salesperson was able to put an order together that met all of my needs and budget and could be delivered and assembled within just a couple of days. I am very happy with my overall experience!

Rob (Robert) has been our go to these last two years when looking to renovate our home. He has helped us decide which furniture is best for us & has given us plenty of options. Visited this location to checkout student desk and chair. The staff greeted us on arrival and guided us to the area. But we didn't see enough collections to make a decision. But this store is huge and contains lot of Furnitures like Sofa, Dining tables, Bed frames and large selection of mattress etc. This is a store definitely worth checking. Parking is plenty and shared as it is located within the shopping plaza.

I ordered furniture here and every piece was marked or torn after delivery. The frame on one chair is broken. I watched the delivery team drag it on the road and treat it carelessly. Instead of stopping to recalibrate they just kept banging it around. I even offered another entry. The customer service team asked that I allow a craftsman to come out instead of replacing the furniture. They didn’t order him all the equipment or a lot the proper amount of time for the work. There is at least half a day, possibly a whole day of work to do. This was after I spent days on the phone with them explaining the issues. I am very disappointed. They have made this my problem to deal with. Never again.

Robert at Ashley in Downingtown was an absolute pleasure to work with. No pressure.... he greated us with "if there is anything I can help you with please let me know" not "what can I help you with!!".... very subtle sounding difference but huge to me. Very, very knowledgeable, worked with us for quite some time on many different options and different models of sectionals. He listened to our questions and answered each one in great detail and didn't try to steer us in any specific direction....which is why we made the purchase. Robert should be trainng sales staff.

Robert was very friendly and helpful through the furniture selection process. He was never pushy and gave us all the details we needed to make informed decisions about our furniture. However, when it came to actually accurately providing the details about the delivery process and availability of our items, I had a hard time getting clear answers. I was never told I would have a 14 day limit to schedule delivery after calling to let them know we were about 3 weeks away from being able to accept our furniture. No one also bothered to inform me that the side chairs I ordered were no longer available until several weeks after I'd need them. The guy at the front desk just shrugged his shoulders of the matter and said it is what it is. Apparently my chairs that were supposed to still be on hold were sent to another customer. Because my chairs were not available, Ashley furniture's scheduling extension couldn't actually schedule delivery of my additional items even though I was told I had limited time to get them delivered. This process has been entirely confusing with a major lack of communication. I'm certainly not satisfied and will not be ordering any more furniture from this store in the future.

TLDR; Get final pricing in writing and walk away. Do comparison shopping from home. Excellent chance you find better pricing elsewhere and even on Ashley.com. We began our search at Ashley's on a Saturday. Found some pieces we really liked. Hit up some of the other retailers around the area. In the end, we decided to return on Sunday for the VIP sale Mike mentioned. Mike Roberts was our Sales Associate. A very sweet man who guided us and answered any questions. We hung out for more than an hour while the order was finalized. Sofa and Love Seat, coffee table, 2 end tables. Plus kitchen table and chairs. While in the store, we start some comparison shopping and see the same items significantly less than sticker price. We're ready to walk. When we see our handshake deal materialize, it [appears] that we will have the 2 couch/love seat combine for a price better than can be found elsewhere. We agree and decide to purchase. Delivery: I get a call asking if I intended to have standard chairs for my counter level table. Emphatic NO! Counter level chairs will need to be delivered separately as on-hand inventory is not available. <Sigh> Truck arrives... um, your missing the love seat. What Love seat? I need to call the store. I get call from Ashley delivery department. She can see the item for love seat with console, but it doesn't look right. She is confused. Asks that I speak with store. Aftermath: After calling the store and speaking with Mike the conclusion is that "Mistake were made. Not sure how nobody caught them. If you want the Love seat, $2,400 is due." I concluded that it was best to void the agreement and have Ashley return the purchase. As Mike hung up the phone, I heard "I had to do the deed". I actually do feel bad for Mike... not sure why. Future State: I've initiated a "return" to Ashley with at fee that we will not be paying. We'll begin to re-order the very items that briefly adorned our home for considerably less money. Nice furniture, very sad experience. Ref: Invoice 942501062.

Do not buy from here!!! They installed our bed with premium delivery.. they forgot the slats and when they did install them they broke twice because the installers didn’t do it properly. Just had a delivery that we were assured would be able to be brought upstairs, the delivery people refused and threatened us to the point we needed to call the cops. The store has offered NOTHING for any of this. DO NOT USE THIS STORE FOR ANYTHING

This Ashley/Regency Furmiture store is big, has many decor, styles, and financing options 😲. Upon entering this store, we were greeted by Mirian. Mirian is kind, relatable, helpful, calm, patient, and knowledgeable. If she didn't know the answers to my questions, she never guessed. Instead, she went and found someone to give her a definite answer or reply. This was very assuring. Thank you, Mirian, for helping me find the perfect couch for my apartment (I changed my mind a few times, and she was never annoyed by it 😁). And Thank you, for being kind and patient to my Little One.

Kylee and Jonathan were a great help. They had expertise (which is actually important) when buying a bed and furniture , so that it lasts. They took plenty of time A answered all the questions and got me in the best bed base and did an example of how it helps back pain and 15 min of it - and my back felt better. Really happy with my experience. And btw Ashley has great stuff.

Absolutely the worst customer service/treatment I have ever gone through when dealing with a store. The store manager is even trash and refuses to even apologize for the absolutely horrible customer service and major issues to get what I paid for! I never like to leave bad reviews as you can see by my account but I have to steer anyone away from this store. I purchased over $8k worth of furniture June 2nd. I did receive my bedroom and dining room set the following week and was told 6-8 weeks for the couch which I was completely fine with. The salesman knew my situation that I was starting fresh with all new furniture that I didn’t have any furniture. When I got the dining room set, one of the chairs were damaged and a cabinet was missing handles. It was reported immediately when they dropped the stuff off. I’m Ok with stuff happening, I get it but that’s not where my problem is. Comes late July which was when I was told I would get the couch, they pushed it till August. I was a little upset but dealt with it because I know things happen. Come August I was told September, that’s when I got upset. I later learned that the couch I ordered was supposedly on back order since May when I ordered it in June and was told the “standard” 6-8 weeks. Sales guy never told me this knowing I had no couch and was starting over in a new place. Was quick to take my money though. Needless to say, it was almost November before I ever received the full couch. I had to keep going in and following up and being told all these different stories about how they would help me and not once did the store manager come out to apologize, even when I asked to talk to the store manager. It got to the point I had to BBB, the news and the general attorneys office involved. They had my money for months and wasn’t giving me any answers. As of today, almost 7 1/2 months later, still don’t have my replacement damaged chair or handles to my cabinet but they’ve had my money for months! I was told I was getting a credit for all the aggravation I went though at some point and never got that either. This has just been an absolute nightmare dealing with them. I would have been ok, if they were just upfront and honest that the couch was on back order so that i wasn’t sitting in dining room chairs for months watching TV waiting for she something they already knew was on back order. But to add that I still can’t even fully use this cabinet because I have no handles plus a damaged chair. And the lack of communication was horrible. It’s the quick to take my money and then never try to make things right with me is was really aggravates me. At least make it right. Don’t just take over $8k of someone’s hardworking money and then peace out. That’s what’s wrong with these big stores. Quick to take someone’s money so the CEO can take their fancy trips and buy their yachts while the people using their hardworking money to give them business gets screwed.

I purchased a sectional from this store about a year ago, and initially, everything seemed fine. However, after about 9 months, the sectional started to show defects. The store did honor the warranty and arranged for a repair, and the workmanship was guaranteed for 90 days. Now, the same issue has resurfaced 60 days later, and I’m being given the runaround between the store and the repair company. Each one is pointing fingers at the other, and neither is taking responsibility for fixing the problem. It’s extremely frustrating, and the customer service has been disappointing. I expected better for the amount of money I spent. Avoid this place if you want reliable furniture and support, and forego any extended warranties because even the simplest of repairs will take several weeks, if not months, to resolve.

Ordered our couch on line. The couch was delivered within a week. We absolutely love the quality of this couch. It is firm, sturdy and very comfortable. Absolutely Love It !

What an amazing shopping experience during their Grand Opening! The staff was attentive, professional and fun. I won $1500 during the furniture sweepstakes giveaway and I cannot wait for my delivery!!!! Fingers crossed that it doesn’t take 8-12 weeks :). It sure would be nice to host my family for Thanksgiving dinner with my new living room & bedroom furniture.

Worst possible experience of shopping at Ashley store in Downingtown PA. - The sales associate at this store can't be trusted to provide accurate information - I made an order with different items. I was told I could delete items from my order or cancel my order and get full refund anytime. - I wasn't told that there was a special order item in my order as well. Due to this, I couldn't get anything deleted from my order. I was told I will have to either pay 30% restocking fee on all items on the order or I will have to accept all the items in the order. - I was told that delivery fee is not being charged. However, I got to know it was actually charged. - I asked to make a change in an item from the order. Instead, the sales associate added 1 more unit of same item. - Ashley and Regency customer service don't help with these issues at all. They just route you to the store manager for any issues with the orders. - The sales associate was fired from her job and I was told she no longer works there. The Ashley/ regency store manager forced me to get as many items to avoid the restocking fee instead of owning up to mistakes of their employees. - I visited the store to get my refund. I met an employee named Stacie who was very rude and didn't trust me at all. I asked her to provide credit on the delivery fee as it was promised and again I was told that the person who talked to you doesn't work there anymore. She also snapped at the other employee at the front desk. I asked her if she think I am lying. I am not sure about the hiring practices of Ashley/ Regency. Their furniture is of good quality but the people they hire to talk to customers are of poorest quality. - I would never recommend Ashley/ Regency to my friends. If anyone is still buying from them, get everything in writing from employees or store manager. Because you never know, some employee may quit and you end up getting a bad deal.

I had a great experience with salesman Dominic. He was super helpful and friendly. He was pretty new and any answer he did not know he went and got an accurate answer. I spent about an hour with him and had a really good shopping experience until the end. Apparently there was some issue with my order and his manager by the name of Stacey had to come assist. She was horrible. Her attitude was awful. She put her hand up in his face while he was talking and then motioned to shew him away. I couldn’t believe that was happening in front of me. if my order wasn’t paid for and Dominic wasn’t so great i would have cancelled. I called into the store today to ask about my order and was told he was no longer working there. Good for him but a loss for the store. I decided to share my review because that encounter still isn’t sitting right with me.

Excellent service, I purchased a floor model dining table and chairs and the manager cleaned up a few nicks and it looks perfect! What i liked best about this store is that nobody "bothers" you the second you walk in the door. My husband and i had plenty of time to look, take pix, etc and it was easy to find a knowledgeable sales rep to assist us.

I was immediately greeted by a sales floor representative, but not in a “I just got accosted” and pushy sort of way. He let me know a few things about the store and then let me browse, being sure to stay within earshot if needed. The layout of the store was easy to navigate and there was an ample selection of sofas and love sofas from which to choose. I did my homework and Ashley had the best pricing too, compared to the same set at two other locations. Hope to write a future review on the “quality” of items purchased, after they are received and broken in, as well as, a follow review on delivery process, etc. So far, a good experience and definitely recommend Ashley Furniture.

DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY! They delivered our bedroom set weeks after promised and when it was delivered the bed was not assembled correctly and broke days later. It has been over TWO weeks with no response from Ashley in anyway on how they will resolve our brand new broken bed. Customer service has been a nightmare! Save yourself the pain and do not buy anything from Ashley!

Only giving 1 star because our sales lady was wonderful and the store itself is very nice. We ordered a couch back in February, it was a 4-6 week wait time. They called us in mid March to deliver. To start, they give a 4 hour time frame, and they were still a hour late. Then, when it arrived, it was the wrong configuration. To make matters worse, for the $300+ “white glove delivery” they made us pay, the 2 men delivering, who were as nice as they could be, made a mess outside our home, and did not speak any English, which made the transaction very difficult when it turned out to be the wrong couch. The next day, I got a call back to reschedule delivery, and AGAIN, it was the wrong configuration when they wanted to “confirm the order”. Now here we are, waiting another 4-6 weeks for the “right couch”. To add with the disappointed, I have not received one phone call from the store/manager to try and fix the problem or help alleviate the stress of the situation. So disappointing with the lack of customer service and overall transaction. I would never recommended this store or franchise.

My wife and I were really impressed with Ashley Furniture in Downingtown. Richard was our Sales person and he did a wonderful job guiding us to find a great sofa and a love seat at a really good price. We shopped around at a few different places over the course of a month and we could not seem to find what we were looking for in our price range. Then we stopped by Ashley furniture and we were pleasantly surprised by all the good options and we loved how Richard did not follow us around but gave us space to look around and think about things. The furniture arrived this past Thursday and we a loving it! It was truly a great experience and we are thankful!

First review I'm leaving for anything ever. Bought two chairs from them. When looking around, the worker promised as if we were getting 30% off guaranteed. Once we said we'd purchase it, he got all of the paperwork then told us there's a chance of getting 30% off. We'd have to pop a balloon to see what kind of discount we get. And of course we didn't get 30% off, rather a few dollars off. Pretty sly and unethical. Chair quality wasn't that good once we got it and decided oh well we'll just use it. Broke within 5 months. Called for warranty and they said it's not manufacture faulty so warranty won't cover anything. I don't understand why anyone would purchase from Ashleys especially when the quality to price ratio is terrible and the designs are tacky and outdated.

I wish I could give zero stars. Ordered furniture in January was told it would be delivered end of February but the date keeps getting pushed back with no end in sight. I loved the set so much I sent my family in who ordered the same set two weeks after us and already had it delivered. Ashley had no answer on why that would happen just kept saying how unusual. They have been completely unhelpful, would not recommend the store or our sales person Elizabeth.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Ashley HomeStore that I feel compelled to share. I purchased a bedroom set and sofa from the store based on a specific deal and size that perfectly fit my needs. However, my satisfaction quickly turned into frustration during the delivery process. Upon delivery, it became apparent that the sofa wouldn't fit through my doors. Initially, the store manager assured me that this was their responsibility and they would handle the necessary adjustments. To my dismay, during the delivery, I was asked to remove the doors myself, a task that was initially promised to be taken care of by the store. Furthermore, upon inspecting the bedroom set, I discovered damages and a discrepancy in the model. When I raised these concerns with the staff, I was met with dismissive responses, claiming that I had selected the items and should check the receipt for the item numbers. This was perplexing, considering the limited display of options in the store. To address these issues, I attempted to contact the store manager, only to find out they had relocated and another manager had been terminated. The lack of continuity in resolving the matter was disheartening, and I was advised to contact the service desk. Unfortunately, despite multiple assurances from the service desk, the issue persisted, and promises of resolution within 24 hours went unfulfilled. I am sharing this experience with the hope that Ashley HomeStore can address these concerns and provide a swift and satisfactory resolution. It's disheartening to see a reputed store like Ashley HomeStore handle customer concerns in such a disorganized manner, lacking follow-up procedures and professional resolution processes. In the spirit of constructive feedback, I encourage Ashley HomeStore to implement improvements in their customer service and issue resolution procedures to enhance the overall customer experience. Having had a less than ideal experience, I genuinely hope the store takes steps to rectify these issues, providing a positive outcome for both current and future customers.

Do yourself a favor and do not purchase furniture here. We ordered multiple items and the first item dropped off was a dining room set. The delivery drivers were in a rush as it was 4:30 on a Saturday and they had two more jobs to do that night. They quickly brought everything into our house, had us sign and left. They left a mess that we had to clean up after spending thousands of dollars with this company and then while cleaning it up we noticed a stain on one of our chairs and a chip on the bench. We then went into Ashley Furniture today and they told us we need to call customer service. They also said we have 72 hours to call this line and they’re not even open on Sunday.Why have a customer service desk in your store if you’re just going to tell customers to call a number and not assist them in store? Terrible service all around.

We purchased a mattress and living room set from here in late August. For the mattress, they sold us on their Mattress Sleep Guarantee re-selection where we would have 90 days to change the firmness of the bed if we wanted. We were told in store AND on their online details that if you are doing a one time re-selection, you only need to pay the $99.95 delivery fee, as long as we are getting another bed of equal or greater value. Decided to exchange for a less firm bed at day 50, but suddenly now we owe a 15% restocking fee in addition to the delivery fee. They snuck it in the fine print and blatantly lied to us in store, even though this is not what is stated online. We will never be going back there again and we STRONGLY suggest you be careful in dealing with them.

Robert said our furniture would be delivered bye 10/5/23.we get phone call today it wouldn’t be delivered on 10/5 apparently there are s something in fine print on the receipt we signed it says delivery could be 2-6 weeks reminds me about use car salesman tell anything to make a sale. Update 1: They delivered the wrong color couches, now we have to wait for unknown amount of time. Update 2: Second time delivery the couches have cut on the leather ans staples showing out. Update 3: same issue couches have cuts again Update 4: we ordered these couches in June. This is the 4th delivery 8/31/2023 and they are damaged again. I do not recommend Ashley at this point beacuse they haven't fix the situation going on pass 2 months now. They wasting our time. Every time we have to prepare for the couches to be removed and delivered and take off time from work. The only thing they have offered so far is 3% off our next purchase. Why would we purchase something here if they can't fix it. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THERE! Update 5: 9/8/2023 one of the couches same issue again have cuts and damaged.
