My wife and I went to the Ashley Store in Harrisburg, PA today with a pretty good idea of the sofa we wanted. (Our daughter bought it recently in D.C.) The sales representative, Delissa, greeted us as we entered and quickly showed us to the sofa. Nearby was an even better sofa (in our opinion anyway). Delissa explained the current sale and 0% financing option. She answered all of our questions, wrote up the estimate, and took us to the kiosk once we said we wanted to go ahead with the financed purchase. At the kiosk I filled out the form and temporarily unfroze my credit reports at TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian so that the financing application would go through. As soon as the kiosk printed the approval receipt, Delissa wrote up the invoice and we all headed to the sales desk at the back of the store to complete the transaction. The woman there was wonderful, too. (I have forgotten her name, I'm afraid.) Tony, the GM, happened by possibly because of the laughter he was hearing! Thank you everyone for the great sales/purchase experience today.

Had a great experience with Delissa. She walked us around the showroom and showed us what's online to find just the right bar stools for our kitchen. She was very patient and answered all our questions. We'll be back.

I had a very disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture in Harrisburg. Their customer service is extremely poor, and the insurance they sell feels like a complete scam. I purchased outdoor furniture and also paid extra for the insurance plan. When the furniture got damaged and I tried to file a claim, I was told the claim was denied because Ashley incorrectly added the insurance as an indoor plan instead of outdoor. This mistake was made by Ashley, yet I’m the one being penalized. For over a month, I’ve been going in circles. Customer service tells me to call the store, the store tells me to call customer service, and both claim it’s handled by “corporate”—which is completely unreachable by phone or email. No one takes responsibility, and no one resolves the issue. This has been beyond frustrating and exhausting. If something goes wrong with your purchase, don’t expect help or accountability. I will never buy from Ashley again, and I strongly warn others to think twice—especially about their insurance plans. Very disappointed.

Had been spending the weekend searching for a new couch and bed set and came to Ashley’s not having the highest expectations after going to a bunch of other local furniture stores. Was pleasantly greeted by Shaq (not the O’Neal type, but just might have been if you see him in person) and got right to jumping on couches and hearing the explanations of how the couches have new tightly woven fabrics that are washable. I was also impressed by how Shaq was able to jump on the new trampoline fabric under the cushions and not damage the couch to demonstrate how they’re better than the traditional steel spring set up. We then broke a sweat tearing up the cushions on different couches to see how dense the foams were and look at the down feathers in the nicest set. We ended up going with Shaq’s final recommendation of the new hybrid material recliners that are colored like storm clouds. We custom built the pieces as they were a modular set and ordered that night. Shaq was great and in a positive mood the whole night, even though I’m a “special” type of customer that drags out every purchase. After seeing the other local furniture stores go downhill over the years, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Ashley is still pursuing new innovative ways to build furniture to differentiate themselves in the industry. Will be purchasing my next set of furniture from Ashley! Thanks Shaq, see you again soon.

I placed an order with Ashley Furniture and completed payment in August for a sofa and a dining table with chairs. As of December 13, I still have not received the sofa. The delivery date has been rescheduled multiple times, which has been extremely frustrating. This experience has been very disappointing, and I am not satisfied with their customer service or reliability.

I had a wonderful experience here at Ashley Home Store! The GM, Tony, was there to greet me and point me in the direction. Delissa was extremely helpful, ensuring all of my questions were answered correctly and that I was happy with my purchase. Heaven was also very helpful and pleasant at Customer Service.

Bought an end table but had a miscommunication on delivery. It turned out to be a floor model and needed to be ordered and then delivered. But the manager at the Union Deposit store, refunded the floor model, and I ended up buying 2 end tables. It really worked out great, since I got the sale price for Black Friday and then another 18% off. Got the two tables for a great price and bought a lamp that really went with tables and we had already had delivered a nice leather, recliner sofa we had bought a few weeks before. The lamp with sale and discounts was over $70 off the tagged price. So it all worked out better than the original purchase and I was very pleased at savings, the quick resolution of the miscommunication, and today, had delivery of the 2 end tables completed our basement family room. Excellent service and resolution of our original purchase a few weeks ago! We have had excellent service and overall experiences at Ashley Union Deposit store. Thanks to all the helpful staff there who are always accommodating and friendly. Get you some great deals on sale-priced items you’ve been waiting to get, before the Holidays, for the family visits! Shaq was very knowledgeable and friendly. We bought the Canby sectional. It’s back ordered so I assume that’s because it’s so popular. We’ll have to wait for delivery but I would rather have the right piece than the one that can be there tomorrow. We searched for months at various furniture stores for the perfect sectional, and Ashley’s quality and comfort beat out the rest by far.

I’ve never been oversold until this visit. The team at Ashley had went above and beyond. From our salesman Shaq, manager Tony , the women running the show-Gracie and Nicole. I thank you for really creating a fun experience spending money. We needed a new couch and went in dreading the “sales approach “ we knew we were going to get. We didn’t. Tony introduced himself, said that Shaq could help us. Shaq asked a few questions, presented what they had for our needs ,showed our options and walked away. Great personality and knowledgeable. We walked out with the couch, a bed and a frame we didn’t necessarily need but the man totally sold me on it. Really was a good experience!

Gracie did a fabulous job of showing us several floor plans that would work in our space. She made the purchase very easy and smooth. We are super pleased.

I walked in unsure if I was going to be able to find a new recliner to suit my requirements. Grace made the difference in a successful purchase! She took the time to help me work through the give and take necessary. I walked in set on a power and swivel recliner, but after seeing my limited options, helped me realize that today's manual models are dramatically easier to close than my current one. Even though I couldn't sit in the actual recliner that I purchased, she helped me build a "composite" view by having me test out several different models, with each having one of the characteristics of the one I chose.

Xavier was awesome. Had all the info we needed. And set us up perfect for our new sectional! All but the 1 day delivery promise😉 2 days works just as good though! Haha thanks guys!

I bought two sofa and sleeping sofa I did protection plan too they told me everything will be covered but now it has a stain when I claim they denied it.now it’s been only few months but my sofa is really bad.I paid almost 400$ for protection. same situation happened to my friend too .don’t do protection plan from they will just take your money.really scammers

Shaq at the Ashley Harrisburg store is an amazing human, and wonderful representative of the company to work with! He has outstanding communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a wealth of knowledge about furniture and what products are best situated for various scenarios. He spent time getting to know my wife and I to understand our furniture needs and provided a variety of options for us to chose from, without any typical sales pressure. We feel as though we didn’t buy furniture, we added furniture to our home and made a friend. He is the best - you’re missing out if you don’t come work with this man!

Terrible experience! We spent over $7,200 on furniture and were lied to about a “free” bed cover that ended up costing us $250. Deliveries were late, wrong items were sent twice, and the staff were rude and dismissive. The delivery team refused to wear shoe covers in our carpeted home—even after explaining it was for religious reasons and for our crawling baby. Customer service offered no help and even threatened to void our warranty. We paid extra for delivery and assembly, yet they refused to remove trash and left us to clean up. Absolutely dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful company. Stay far away! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

We just worked with Grace at Ashley and had a phenomenal experience! She helped us find what we wanted and helped work out logistics. She was super helpful, friendly, and patient with us! Her many years of experience show in her great customer service! Would recommend looking for her if you stop in!

I recently had furniture delivered from Ashley and was very disappointed with the experience. I politely asked the delivery crew to wear shoe covers because I have small children and for religious reasons. They refused, and worse, told me that if I did not allow them to assemble the furniture inside with shoes on, my warranty would be void. This was both disrespectful and coercive. A warranty should never be tied to something unrelated like footwear. I hope Ashley reviews its policies and trains its teams to respect reasonable customer requests.

I was very disappointed with my recent experience at Ashley Home Furniture. I drove an hour south to visit the store with the intention of purchasing a patio set, only to be told they couldn't sell to me because my address falls outside their district. I live roughly equal distance between two locations, yet I was turned away and told I’d have to drive another hour and a half to a different store. It felt like a complete waste of time and effort. It’s frustrating that a national retailer would have such restrictive and inconvenient policies. Should also note: check online pricing, store pricing is not inline with online pricing.

After several employees walked by me or gave me awkward looks, Cody Cutler greeted me with a smile and began to assist me with my living room furniture search. Axel was great if I ever decided to come back I would work with him. Unfortunately the delivery service they used completely turned me off because they made no attempt to try in bring it in. Instead they pulled it straight in and said oh we can't do it. If you give us 300.00 dollars we'll take it apart. I declined and said I just had furniture removed the same size out that door and sat on the side of the road. Even pointed it out to them. They then said we'll pull it over the balcony for 100.00 dollars and atp I refused service because they just wanted side money. I called the store and they said no do not pay them to do that that is not how it works. I had to wait to get another delivery date and they are saying I have to wait almost another 2 weeks. I'm so flipping ticked off and disappointed. Now I'm off to look for furniture that can be delivered next week. Never again.

Ordered a sofa bed that was delivered today. Delivery people where in a huge hurry, took several chunks of wood out of my baseboards and a large gash in my handrail going up the steps. Also took a huge chunk out of my wall. Took pictures off my wall and threw them against a TV set. Will never shoo at Ashley's again.

Ordered a bedroom set, the sales person forgot to order the rails for the bed. Delivery men unable to put bed together. We have to wait 3 more weeks for the correct bed and all it's parts. Paid for the bedroom set with Ashley's credit plan but couldn't add the missing parts to the credit plan. We were required to pay up front for the missing part. No one apologize for there error or attempted to get part in reasonable time frame. I'll bate they try to make us pay another white glove delivery charge again. Very dissatisfied.

Ashley Union Deposit, Harrisburg, PA. Beware of the store policies! I received a defective platform bed and it took a lot of back and forth communication to get to a call to schedule for the bed to be "retrieved" from my home, where it was in the way because it couldn't be set up. They don't want to give you your money back, so don't buy unless you're 100% sure--read the back of the receipt before signing ANYTHING. I also highly recommend paying for them to install so you know if you have a problem, on the spot. Send it back right then and there, if it isn't right! The bed I purchased for $799 was poorly made, isn't made or stocked locally, probably isn't even made in the USA. Defective merchandise should automatically warrant a refund. Period. Without making you fight for it. They did refund all of my cost of the bed, less the delivery fee to bring it and an exaggerated fee of $150 to "retrieve" it, when I finally got that far with them. What you can't see in my photos was that the headboard wasn't square or straight and it didn't stand properly on the right side. I didn't want another one of this same quality, in my home.

I had just about given up on finding the chair I wanted, but the Ashley store and saleswoman Shirley saved the day! Beware do not except furniture when delivered that need repair. Ashley furniture, technician do not work with their customers. 3 times they scheduled my appointmet and 3 times they canceled.the 4th time they hired another company. They called to schedule with a date and a time and they asked what's a good time for them to come out.I told them after 2 pm, cause I work. 2 days before my appointment. Someone called To tell me they are coming out between 8:30am and 10:30 now things change with this other company. Ashley furniture does not have sympathy for their customers. I purchased a Mattress from another company. Guess what they give their customers 100 days for customer satisfaction to return or replace. Ashley gave me 72 hours. Good luck, I will not purchase a thing from this company

Don’t ever shop there. They don’t properly inform you of their return policy. When you do need something returned, it takes them forever to do so. They do not communicate well. And they wait until you’re in the store to actually tell you that there’s an issue.

I bought funiture only a year and a half ago with their protection plan. One of the dining room chairs broke by sitting in it and they won't cover it or even give me a discount on a new chair. Took weeks for them to say we can only cover parts not labor. I'm good on that. Customers deserve better!!!

On 5/16/2024 I came into this store to buy a dining room set. I researched the model online prior to walking into the store and thought it was a going to be a seamless transaction. I was surprised that the store was selling the same exact set I wanted for over $300 more than the Ashley furniture website. The sales reps claimed Skylar the manager would price match it for me and asked me to wait. Skylar never came… the rep then said Skylar would send me a link within an hour to purchase the set online but I had to do it within an hour or the price would increase at 6 pm. The link never came nor did I receive a follow-up call. The sales rep seemed new and very pleasant however the store seems grossly mismanaged. I drove approximately three miles to Raymour and Flanagan and purchased the same exact dining room set. It had a different name but was the same exact table and chairs. I paid around $39 more for the set and more for delivery but I would rather patronize a company that values my business.

The price was good, the product I love, the service was good, delivery was ok. (Rushed, didn’t speak English hard to understand) but the worse part was they actually delivered the wrong facing chaise. If you live in Mifflin county, PA they will not deliver your furniture go to my area go to Altoona Ashley Furniture instead if you live near state college aka Penn state university for home delivery, am not driving to Maryland either... when I move to Mifflin County, PA we had to rent a Enterprise Van and the owner some old guy was playing the cheap game and didn't want to pay for rental van until my dad write him a letter he mail us a check for us to rent a van and I had to manually deliver ourselves our own furniture 70 miles away am not doing that again, am not the bad guy here just telling it straight that's all over and out...

I been calling the store for a few days now. Unable to get ahold of anyone. The voicemail box is full. If you try to get an operator or use the directory it just sends you back to the same voicemail. So, I called the 866 number and got an automated system that after verifying me transferred me to the same store that no one will answer.

First time visit to Ashley's. Saleslady Inziha was very professional, friendly, & helpful. I would highly recommend them.

Bought furnature from here. Paid for NEW furnature but they delivered refurbished. Good luck getting it replaced had terrible customer service. Everything is done through emails at coorporate. A coustomer service manager, named Wade, did not honor the resolution and yelled at me over the phone because I went to the other location and found a better refurbished peice and asked if it could be swapped out. He also refused to call me back to resolve the issue. This has been an ongoing issue for a year now. If you buy from here double check that your getting what you paid for. All 3 bedroom peice were refurbished and came with peices missing and chips out of the wood. would not recomend to anyone! Better off buying consignment furnature then from here.

Very unprofessional! No one ever answers the phone, we’ve been trying to return a piece and get a different piece for over a month and we keep getting the run around. They don’t notate the account properly and are a big HASSLE! Very disappointed and dissatisfied!

I had the worst experience with Ashley at this store. On 9/8/2023 I purchased three bed sets. I was told that there would be a split delivery since some items were unavailable in the store. So, the mattresses and foundations would be delivered first; the bedroom sets should be delivered by the 1st or 2nd week of October. I agreed to this “longer than I expected” time-frame. After receiving the foundations and mattresses, I realized that the foundations height appeared to be a bit too much, so I went back to the store and told a store representative and told her that we were worried the beds would be too high for us. Her response was that I shouldn’t worry because the frames of the beds I bought are very low so the bed height would be just fine. I believed her. Bedroom sets finally arrived last Thursday (9 weeks after the purchase day!) and, as I was worried about, beds are too high that we almost have to climb to get over them! I should also mention that since I had not been given any updates about the expected delivery of the bedroom sets, I tried calling many times. Either no one responded or the response was “You should get your items either next week or the following”, which didn’t happen! Also, since the invoice I received included only one Night Stand instead of two, I called the store and requested to add another one. I was told to make the payment in-store or online. I did it online so I expected two night stands upon delivery day but I only got one! To sum up, here are the reasons for anyone to be frustrated and regret the decision to buy furniture from this store: 1. Wrong information about bed heights and the consequences of this mistake by the store rep. 2. Not providing any updates about the changes in the expected delivery date nor responding to phone calls. 3. Not delivering the 2nd night stand.

Do not buy. Without telling me they tried to sneak in a 5 year protection plan that was hundreds of dollars more. Also, they’re average shipping time is 8-12 weeks! They didn’t even bother mentioning that when I was shopping around. If that’s not bad enough, they’re prices online are far cheaper with free shipping and the actual stores won’t price match.

The sales person Sean was great, but thats where the good experience ended. They delivered my dining room set, and 2 of the six bar chairs are defective. Reported immediately when i noticed the 1st one, within an hour after delivery. The 2nd one we did not see until the 5th day, and reported as soon as we noticed. They are REFUSING to replace these 2 defective chairs. Told me there was nothing they could do about the 2nd one because we didn't report it within 72 hours! This a brand new set that we spent alot of money on and now we cant even use 2 of the 6 chairs. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. Would give 0 stars if I could

I would never shop at your company nor would I recommend your company to anyone, after you wrongfully fired a great employee due to the threats, and harassment to her by youtube creators who just wanted clicks, views and money from their subs. The 2 women and the husband of one harassed the worker all day first by phone, then by the women going into the store while video recording their interacting with the employee. They planned this, and did it on purpose, and instead of protecting your employee, you gave those women what they wanted, and first suspended her and then fired her, Prior to this that employee was doing a great job for your company. I will not support a company who treats their employees so horribly. 😤

I have purchased living room sets, dining room sets, bedroom sets & even patio furniture from your store. Your delivery service as well as your customer service employees have always gone above and beyond. In saying that, I will no longer be purchasing anything from your store due to not protecting your employees from YouTubers who are into causing issues with employees and anyone else just for clicks and views. You have chosen to suspend an employee who was gaslit all day on the phone and then further gaslit at the store instead protecting your employees. I am disgusted that you are doing this and will take my future business elsewhere if this is how you continue to treat your hardworking employees.

Ashley's has really gone downhill. They carry no inventory, so you have to wait weeks until you get your furniture. Recommend going to Raymuour Flanigan. Made purchase Friday the 25th with a delivery on Wednesday the 30th

Furniture is nice and looks like what we wanted, but the dresser arrived with broken sliding hinge piece. We contacted customer service and it took the company two weeks to order the part, then ship it, it finally arrived in about three weeks. But they sent the wrong part. We contacted them again, and they sent the wrong part AGAIN. It's been two weeks again since we heard back. We haven't been able to use our dresser drawer for 2 months now since getting it. Not good customer service, no matter how friendly their team is. I don't think we will buy from Ashley again. For the price that we paid, I expect better quality and service.

Beautiful furniture but way out of my price range!

I order 3 pieces of furniture on 7/15/22.  Waited over 3 months for it to arrive only to have my couch missing.  When I called in to the store, they said they had it down I picked up the couch. Supposedly the floor model. How? When this furniture wasn't even in the store nor any other of Ashley's locations and had to be ordered? Plus why would I order 3 items, pick up 1 and have the other 2 deliveed? Make it make sense.  They dropped the ball and need to take accountability. I STILL want my couch and there is no telling when I might get the missing couch I was told possibly December which puts me at a total wait of 5 months if not longer for a couch I ordered in July. To me this is totally unacceptable and I feel this order needs to be expedited  and I should receive at least the taxes I paid on this total order back for my inconvenience.  Which isn't asking for too much. And I want a check as in which was paid to them, not no issued store credit

DON’T GET THE WARRANTY THEY DO NOT HONOR IT

Nice workers, very kind professional and lovely. Horrible delivery although. I ordered a bedroom set expecting it to take 4 weeks to 4 months as they said but it had taken maybe 6 or7. By the time it did come they delivered it without the screws to it so we had to send it back three days ago and now are waiting for them to hopefully send it asap WITH the screws.

Purchased a sleeper sofa, loveseat, & matching ottoman four years ago. Delivery was delayed for a week & when received one of the legs on the sofa had to be replaced. Over time the bottom cushions show wear far too quickly - even with daily rotation and have lost their firmness, the rear cushions need extra stuffing. And the ottoman - with its top cushion over an inch off-center looks lopsided. Also staples and nails have started to protrude. Overall we're very disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship of their furniture. We will not be repeat customers nor do we recommend Ashley Furniture to friends and family.

Do not purchase anything from this store. To say they are incompetent is an understatement. The incorrect table was ordered which by itself is not a big deal however, they have refused to tell me when I am going to get a replacement, they charged my card in full for merchandise not received and they will not talk to my husband or myself. I have been trying for 3 days to have someone call me back and they will not. When I questioned the office manager, she stated I was ignorant and hung up. We have not been rude or unreasonable and have the calls recorded if anyone wants to listen. This will get worked out with the credit card company however, it is much time wasted and now we have to go out and find new tables again. This is the most unprofessional incompetent company I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and purchase from Bob's if the Ahsley product is the price point you are looking for. At Bobs, they are professional and helpful.

I bought my furniture at the Harrisburg store. It was the worst experience I ever had with buying furniture. I will never buy anything from them again. FYI..delivery times are a suggestion, when my delivery never came I was told I was expected to be there all day, not just during the scheduled delivery time. Rediculous!

After looking around for a while my wife and I found what we thought was the perfect sectional for our house. Our salesperson seemed very informative and quoted us a price definitely within our budget. When her boss came over to verify the setup he sent the salesperson back to let us know we were misquoted and it would be $1,400 more than the initial quote. Shocked to say the least they were that far off from the initial quote and the boss didn't talk to us and sent the associate back to apologize; didn't offer any sort of remedy and we walked out, will take our business elsewhere.

I would never buy furniture from Ashley’s again. The furniture they sent me was severely damaged on the inside but you couldn’t tell from the outside. We didn’t notice for a while because we didn’t use the furniture for months. We were still within our warranty period when we turned it in but they will not correct the situation. The technician they sent did his best to repair but said the repairs were not up to company standards and there was nothing he could do. I was told they would call me in three days, I got a call six business days later. Ashley’s will not take credit. I’ve submitted a request to talk to a manager and they were supposed to call within three days but I still have not received a call five business days later. I’ve called them countless times since this all started and there is never anyone who can help with my situation. Their customer service is terrible. One person told me I should have reported it in “the first month or two” and the next told me it would have had to be within three days of delivery. I recommend buying furniture anywhere else but Ashley’s.

Just got the furniture and everything appears, looks, feels good. If it holds up i give em anither star. Our saleman Will was on point very friendly not over bearing or pushy and when it came time to agree on a price he was fair and practical. Would recomend Will to friends and family.

Communication bad. Altogether not a good experience with order.

Nice furniture but high prices

I visited this store in 2005 when I was looking for new furniture. I was followed around by a white staff member who never once spoke to me but stared at me the entire time. I’ve never been back but see you have a new name and am hoping the service has improved. I won’t return to find out. At the time I worked for Pottery Barn and purchased what I needed from work. Thanks for your time.

Best service ever, they got me settled with a new Bedroom set the lettner I believe it’s called! Beautiful set I had to cancel from lazy boy furniture their lead times were horrific ( 6-9 months) but Ashley Furniture took care of me! Super great service I was helped by Mara

Staff rude as hell. I walked in. Sales rep asked if I needed help. I respond that I'm just looking around. If I needed anything I will come find you. He then proceeds to get smart. He should be happy my kids were with me

Working with Ashley Furniture has been a complete nightmare. This is the first time we have purchased furniture with the company and we will never go back. We ordered a bedroom set on 10/16 and it was delivered 12/31. The bed frame was set up incorrectly, broke while our child was sleeping on it, and we cannot get them to fix it. We’ve called countless times and have made zero progress toward a solution. We were told it would take the manager 7-10 business days to return our calls and respond to our request and it’s been nearly a month. Save yourself time and energy and get your furniture from another company. Update: Yes, we did finally get the bed fixed nearly two months after it was originally installed. Unfortunately, that was not the end of our saga with Ashley, it is still ongoing. We asked for compensation due to missing work two days and Ashley no-showing to fix our bed (even though we had verified appointments) and the furniture being broken for nearly two months. After calling three times, we finally received word we would get a small reimbursement reflected on our next billing cycle. Three billing cycles later it has not yet come off. When we called to inquire a fourth time, we were told no one sent this refund information to Synchrony bank. So again, we continue to have to call and talk to customer service and beg them to do their job. We still don’t have the refund. I have never spent months on the phone with a company like this. Please look elsewhere. No one has this kind of time nor is their furniture worth it.
