Bought a mattress from them with a 10 year warranty. After 2 years the mattress developed a 1 inch dip and was told it would have to be at least 2 inches before I could make a claim and get a replacement. Ask what qualifies for the warranty before you buy
I ordered a sectional, table and 4 chairs. I had issues with everything!! I was told multiple pick up dates for my sectional, it’s been 2 months now and still waiting. The chairs had uneven legs, and the bolt holes all did align. I called about these problems and got excused but no solutions!!! I’d done with them! For the money I spending on this stuff I expected better quality!

Rob from Ashley furniture came to replace my motor on my power recliner. He was prompt and on time, very personable and polite, and was able to fix my chair in seconds( after realizing the headrest port was never plugged in after delivery) outstanding customer service from Rob!

I had a wonderful experience from the minute I walked through the door, and was greeted by Grace. She helped me with measurements and dimensions. I then had a few questions regarding delivery. Grace introduced me to Sean who was equally as wonderful to deal with regarding logistics. Once my questions were answered I decided to make the purchase. At this time the technology was working slower than usual, and they pulled in another employee to assist. This team and their manager made my experience the best possible. Every obstacle and request I presented was fulfilled in a very positive way.

John and Trish were so very helpful with choosing my daughter's new mattress and base. And my new pillow. Both were patient and kind through the entire process. They fully understood what it means to be shopping on a budget. We did look at other places and went back to Ashley. Not just because of price but because of the great friendly service by both John and Trish.

I have had some of the worst experiences with buying Ashley furniture. We purchased thousands of dollars of items when we moved and almost Every one has had an issue. We paid for the extra protection plan that was to “cover everything other than paws and claws” and everything submitted was denied. We have had damaged products since the start and while the store seemed willing to help, they directed us to the warranty company who is absolutely awful. Sad they charge what they do for subpar products that they don’t back, even with a paid for additional warranty. The 5star service company they use is rude and unprofessional, regularly interrupting customers as they express their issue. I’ll be advising my friends and colleagues to stay far from unfortunately.
Our house was in a fire and we had to replace our entire contents. Our sales lady definitely made it easier and was an enjoyment to be around. Beautiful furniture!

I bought a living room suite off of Ashley Furniture and had to have my recliner repaired, Rob called and gave me a time that he would be there, and he showed up at the time he gave me! He introduced himself and started working on my chair, but couldn't fix it cause the wrong part was ordered and shipped. Rob called and told them about it, and said the new rite part was ordered and would be here in a few days, boom!! It was!! Rob called again gave me a time and was there! He came in and fix my chair!! Rob is a very very nice, polite and a very very professional worker that takes pride in doing his work!! He fixed my chair and had it working like a brand new one!! If you ever need anything repaired on your Ashley Furniture request Rob!! He's a great guy!! Thanks Rob!!!!

Rob called ahead and showed up on time for his appointment to repair our sectional couch. He had everything he needed to do the two repairs. He was extremely professional and polite and did an amazing job, returning our couch to looking and working like brand new.
We were treated very nicely by “Sparkle” Hoover. We believe that she created a very good price for us and we bought our furniture at Ashley because of her.
My fiance & I were shopping for a new sofa and ottoman. Ashton and Trish assisted us and were great to work with. What made our experience great was the no pressure sales approach they took with us. Trish even made us aware that the set we were looking at was priced significantly better on their website and she price matched it for us. We will be returning to Ashley the next time we need to buy furniture because of how well Ashton and Trish took care of us.

The staff was amazing! Roxy helped my husband and I find exactly what we were looking for! We were greeted by her RIGHT at the door. This was the best experience we’ve ever had, buying furniture! Then multiple staff members came over to us and gave our children fidget toys to play with—some of them even played with them, while we adults hashed out the details of our purchase. Totally a family friendly environment. 10/10 Recommend!
Our bedroom furniture took an additional 2 1/2 weeks to come in. We opted to wait until all pieces were in for delivery. Delivery #1 was made with missing bed rails, nut and bolts. Delivery #2 which was 2 weeks later bed put together but they couldn't put my mirror on my dresser so now I just had to set up delivery #3 to come back this Saturday which inconvenienced me yet another day. They did compensate me $350 on an Ashley's gift card. This beautiful purchase turned into one problem after another. Our sales lady Tiffany though was outstanding. Customer service did rectify all our concerns which was a bonus.
We had an excellent experience at Ashley Furniture in Johnstown. Jami was a great help when it came to choosing a new mattress and a high tech adjustable base! I can’t wait for it to be delivered. As an added bonus we got $300 toward any additional store purchase so I was able to get new lamps for my living room!
I am a long time customer of Ashley. The furniture is extremely well made and holds over the years. I have had my furniture from Ashley for almost 20 years. I was looking to redo both my new living room and dining room furniture. The team was great!! I worked with both Roxy and Jami and they were excellent at making suggestions and helping to bring together my new look! They each spent several hours helping me bring together the rooms to ensure I achieved the look I wanted! Thanks to both of them! I would highly recommend both the furniture and the team!!!
I arrived 1+ hour early that when I was scheduled to pick up my furniture and Taylor, rob, Matt and tim were there and they loaded up the U-Haul and had me out of there in no time at all

We had a great experience shopping for living room furniture at the Ashley Home Store's showroom. Gia was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and took very good care of us...regardless of the time we took to try things out. There were no pressure sales pitches and she was able to answer all of our questions quickly and eager to guide us around based on our needs and wants. She was very pleasant and made sure we were satisfied. We left the store without a purchase, but well-prepared to continue shopping on the Ashley website and considering the sale prices being offered. My husband and I were just in to purchase a sofa and loveseat set. I'm always weary of going to big furniture stores because the salespeople can be a bit overbearing but that was not our case. Everyone was so friendly here. We were approached as soon as we walked in but were also given the space to browse the showroom freely. We visited the Johnstown store on March 10 and ordered a new sectional and matching chair. Jami was very helpful and patient with us while we walked around making a selection. The delivery was scheduled for April 4th, but they messaged me and said they could move the delivery up a week if we wanted, so they delivered it today March 28. The delivery guys were right on time and very friendly and there were no issues with the furniture whatsoever. Overall, we are very pleased!

I recently had an excellent experience shopping for an adjustable bed frame and purple mattress at Ashley Furniture. Sean worked with me throughout my shopping and he couldn’t have been more helpful…he was super friendly, knowledgeable, and did not try to pressure me into buying anything that I didn’t want. I would purchase from them again because of his terrific customer service. The delivery of my adjustable bed frame was smooth and efficient. The only thing that I have not received yet are my headboard brackets but hopefully those will be delivered soon.

Purchased a new sectional over $3,000 it comfortable but feels like after just 1 1/2 months it feels like it wants to break apart not constructed very well at all. The service at the store was very good but when it came to the delivery dates it was postponed and I called to cancel the bedroom set they were apologetic which was a good courtesy but when I asked for some compensation I was give. $100 dollars off for the 3 week delay I refused it and told them to cancel it. The. I was text several times afterwards with a $300 off the bedroom set. But I told them to cancel and please stop calling. So anyone who sees this take some caution please.
Ashley listened closely to what we were looking for and spent the time to help meet our needs. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We are repeat buyers from this store and have always been treated well by every one of the staff there. We will return.

My wife and I were just looking for something more fitting for our house. We weren't really planning to buy. We stopped at Ashley's just to look with an idea in hand. They didn't have the set we found, but had shown us similar items. They showed us similar fabrics and styles and took measurements to give us an idea. This was a great experince, and because Tifanie helped us out and we were able to get a great deal we decided to purchase. Customer service was amazing! The entire team in the Johnstown location was great!

Sales person was very friendly. Went shopping for a couch without breaking the bank. Found the couch I wanted, then was offered a kitchen table and two chairs for half the price of the table to go with the couch. The price agreed with my budget until she had mentioned she mispriced the bundle by not adding a chair as I’m checking out. I decided to ditch the table and chairs and only buy the couch. I knew that bundle was too good to be true. But we’re all human. Everyone makes mistakes.

Buyer beware. We purchased a $3000.00 Emmeline outdoor poly wood furniture set (table, 4 chairs, bench) from Ashley June 28, 2022. A little over one year later parts of the furniture have changed color from taupe to green. It is 3 months out of manufacturer warranty and Ashley is unable/unwilling to offer any recourse.
I was looking for furniture to outfit my new home since the divorce. I needed a "clean slate" for myself. I looked at some pieces online then went to the store in town to see these items in person. Jami Hoover of the Johnstown, PA store greeted me that day and it was a great experience! Not only did I get wonderful pieces for my home, but I gained a friend, as well! I have made 2 separate purchases since (within the past 7 months) and she is my go-to lady for it all!

On 7/15/23, my husband and I entered the Johnstown Ashley store and were greeted by Ben the stock manager who was filling in as a salesperson. He gave us his card and allowed us to browse. As we were testing the recliners, the manager Trish, came over and described the features. As I was attempting to have my husband be excited, too, she told ius about the event sale the next day. This sale was in conjunction with Alex's Lemonaid stand, a fundraiser for pediatric cancer. So.we did return the next day, met Tifanie Morgan, a salesperson, and bought three pieces at 40% discount. Tifanie didn't hover, which at my age I greatly dislike. She did follow me between some items I knew I was going to purchase. She was professional but engaging and we left with promises to return. Shopping at this Ashley store was a great experience, thanks to Ben , Trish, and Tifanie
While we didn't end up purchasing anything during our visit to the Johnstown location (we were simply curious of available inventory to start brainstorming what we want in the near future vs what is on the market these days)....I wanted to take brief moment and share our experience here. First-of-all, we walked in expecting to be pounced and pressured by salespeople but instead...we were warmly welcomed & greeted with a brief heads-up on a couple FYIs about any current sales and then we were left alone to sight-see, sit, lay, roll, and jump on furniture. Scott was awesome and stuck around after closing time to answer our questions and look up color options of furniture that my wife liked. He treated us w/ respect and patience and again...added no pressure. Thank you Scott! What a great experience. When we come back...we will be looking Scott up to assist us again.
Scott Geibig recently helped my mother with her mattress/bed purchase. When part of it was damaged I was not the happiest but they were super helpful in getting it replaced. They also brightened my day. I had told Scotty Geibig that I was bringing my elderly mother up for a new bed. And before we got there he had been researching the best bed for her. It went very easily and the first bed we looked at that he picked out was perfect for her. He is kind and courteous and you always feel welcome by him in the store. The rest of the staff was very joyful and pleasant also. We have made Ashley furniture in Johnstown our first place to look for our furniture needs. The only complaint that I might have is that the delivery guys, whom were kind and respectful would not allow me to try the different heights of the legs that attached to the adjustable bed frame to find out which one would make the best height for my elderly mother to get in and out of the bed. When I spoke with Scotty G later he offered to come to my mothers home and help me attach the headboard with the brackets that came with the bed and try different leg heights to see which ones are best for her to enter and exit the bed. Ashley's furniture which I'm sure already knows would be hard-pressed to find someone more caring to work for them.

Well I had a damage PC of furniture about 2 weeks ago and did not get the problem fixed via the claim center via the 716 text number. How ever they were very polite and and professional. I walked in the Johnstown store a little up set over this and the time it has been since my first text. Allie and store Mgr. Trish had my concern fixed very fast . This review is for the Johnstown store only, and specifically about Ben B. Ashley furniture customer service is absurd and Ben is the only person who cared to make this right. I had purchased a sofa from Ashley online and within less than a year, it was broken. I contacted Ashley and they ordered parts and sent a technician to my house. The Ashley associates were located in Batavia, New York. When the technician arrived, he said that the parts Ashley sent were not the right parts. So the technician had to place a new order. The parts arrive a couple of weeks later and I contacted Ashley again to schedule the repair. I didn’t receive any response initially so I kept messaging them. They finally responded and said that they no longer has a technician in my area and that my only option was for them to come get my sofa to repair which would take 2 weeks. I asked them what I am supposed to do in the meantime considering a have three small kids who were not thrilled with the thought of sitting on the hardwood floor for two weeks. They told me that basically that is not their problem. I asked how it was acceptable that the furniture I bought broke in less than a year and that their only solution was to take my sofa away for two weeks. They didn’t care. I asked for loaner furniture and they said no. I asked for a partial credit since I am making payments on this furniture and was told no. No matter who I called, no one cared. Ashley has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Finally, I decided to get ahold of the Johnstown store since they were not far from where I live. I spoke with Ben who was the only person to sympathize with my situation . He assured me that he would make my repair a priority and he followed through. Our pickup was scheduled for may 10th. The technician said the damage was much worse than expected so I assumed this would cause a long delay. But I got a message from NY on may 11th, just one day later saying that my sofa was repaired. The message said that they couldn’t deliver until may 17th, but when I contacted Ben, he said that he would do everything he could so I wouldn’t have to wait another week. On May13th, at 7:00am, my sofa was back in my house. This would have never turned out this way without Ben’s help. Unfortunately because of Ashley’s horrible customer service and lack of empathy for their customers, I will never make the mistake of buying anything from them again. I have purchased all of my furniture in the past 15 years from Ashley and I will never give them another penny. More Ashley employees need to have the same work ethic as Ben does. He deserves a raise. Thank you, Ben.

I will never buy here again. Bought a sectional and a bed here. Mattress is already sinking. Sectional lasted less than a year and was told the warranty I purchased wouldn't cover the couch (only the cushions and upholstery). So, the $1,000 sectional was good for a nice bonfire. And the customer service up there seems to be non-existent. You're better off. Going to Big lots. Mine has lasted me longer from Big lots than from Ashley.

Salesperson said it would be interest free for 72 months and as it turns out it not interest free on their credit card! I am not happy about this cause I can’t afford to make double payments! Every month the interest would come down but still u have to make a payment plus the interest! Just make sure if u purchase furniture from Ashely’s on their credit card read the paper work!! The bank is TD Bank , never heard of it before!!

This place is literally the worst. A particular worker likes to sit on her phone and acts like you are interrupting her if you dare ask a question. The furniture is of terrible quality. Takes forever to come in. Then, we paid for delivery—were told a night stand was in -it was the entire bed frame which we were not prepared for. Offered to pick up night stand. Was told we’d have to assembly it. It just keeps getting more unreal!!! Oh and our suite came in 3 different deliveries, weeks/months apart

Purchased a recliner.... Not any other furniture.! July of 2021. Was on the understanding at the time that all furniture was delayed and could be for up to 7 to 8 months. Started checking last month... Still delayed.! Checked today 3_14_22. They can't even find an approximate delivery date. Only that it's delayed again.!!!!?????? I will never do business at this store again .. Will recommend to everyone we know to do business somewhere else.!!! We will find other furniture stores either in Altoona or Greensburg.???

I went to Ashley furniture looking for new family room furniture. When we walked in there were 3 employees sitting up front on their phones. One did smile and greet us but you could tell they had no interest in selling anything to us. We walked around the store an nobody followed up with us so we left.I bought an Ashley recliner 2 years ago at Wolf furniture. I love this chair and was very comfortable. The power leg rest stopped working. Of course my extended warranty is no longer valid because Wolf went out of business. I called Ashley corporate office to see if they have repairmen they could send out and I would pay. They do not they said it's handled at the store. I called the store and they will not come because I didn't purchase there. They gave me a number but it's a FL company and I'm in PA. They were very difficult. I paid 1200 for a chair that didn't last 2 years and an extended warranty that is useless. I will never buy Ashley products again. I really wish we still had local furniture stores near me but the big box ins put them out of business.

Great service and awesome store. Barbara helped me out w choosing colors and materials in an honest, professional manner that helped me feel comfortable making a decision choosing the right furniture for my space. Also, was given great advice on how to get the best deal. I will definitely be going back. The store is also very clean and has a good variety setup in its vast space.

My fiancé and I recently worked with Barb to get a new mattress. She was so wonderful to work with! In just a few questions she knew what type of mattress we needed and didn't confuse us by moving us from bed to bed. She explained, in detail, the benefits of the mattress and how it would improve our sleep. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you are tossing and turning at night or waking up sore to go see Barb. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring.
I recently bought a dining room table set and Barb made it a quick and simple process. She was very friendly and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted. The delivery men were also super nice and had my table set up in minutes. Will definitely return!
I had to move in the middle of covid 19, and had to leave alot of stuff behind. I was helped the by Arial, and Roxy, they were helpful and understanding of my needs. They both find me the best deals, whether online price or store price. I would reccomend these employees, highly.

After nearly 5 months of waiting for our living room Furniture we finally got all the pieces. Less then 60 days in and we already have a hole in the seam. Contacted for warranty replacement. Who knows how long this process will take? *Update* Took less then a week to receive replacement cushion and fabric but will take 32 days for a technician to come fix the this. Unreal!

My husband and I ordered new living room furniture on July 7th. At that time we were told that they were giving everyone an estimated 8-10 week delivery date due to COVID but that it likely would be sooner than that. It is currently November 28th which is 20 weeks and I have only received 1 out of 3 of my items!!!! The first item which was the couch was delivered the end of October and I was told to expect the love seat and recliner the middle of November!! I called them and spoke to a “manager” approximately 2 weeks ago who told me that he understood my frustration but that due to COVID the the love seat was not expected until the beginning of December and the recliner even later!!!! At this point I am beyond irritated which I believe is rightfully so! When I asked him what my options were he told me basically I could cancel the order or basically I just have to wait!! Why would I cancel the order when I already have 1 piece of the furniture that was a matching set!! To top it off, he told me he was going to look into some things, talk to the store manager and get back to me within 2 days and I have heard nothing thus far!! I would NEVER EVER recommend this place to a single soul and they absolutely will NEVER get a single dime of my money ever again!!!

When it came to deciding what to purchase she made it very easy for us by blowing every other stores prices out of the water. Ordered furniture in August but due to pandemic, they said it may be 8-10 weeks before it came in. I get the reason why and was ok with that. plus I was on wait list. ok. no problem. Got a text today saying they still didn't know when it would be in and if I wanted to be contacted about options. I replied sure but since it was close to end of the day, I decided to go to the store. Walked in and 1 person at front kiosk took older couple that was ahead of me so I decided to look around a bit at what options there were. No one checked in with me and even had 2 associates walk by me. After 40 min, I walked by the salesperson at front kiosk 3 times and he didn't look up from his phone where he was watching videos. A couple came in right after the 3rd time walking by and he greeted them. Went to back sales counter and was asked if I had been helped. The lady apologized profusely and said they were really busy. Decided to cancel my order even though 1 piece was coming in next week and the other in 2 weeks potentially. Mentioned how associates walked past me (those 2 were back there) and the video watching one. Oh well

Just spent a little over 8000 on a kind size bed, adjustable bases and two mattress, they delivered the bed frame and mattress but no adjustable bases. They are sitting The johnstown warehouse they were never put on the truck with the rest of the bed. Was told it maybe next week till I can get them . They told me to put a piece of plywood down and sleep on that . Thanks for delivering half a bed what excellent customer service (not)
Went to Ashely’s to just ‘look’ came home a new loves seat owner! We had Tim Roddy help us in store with finding our perfect fit (and got us a good deal!)! Having bumped delivery up a week, two of Ashley’s great moving men carried it up our three flights of steps to our apartment! They were super quick and did it in less than 15 minutes! Super glad to have our first pics of living room furniture and amazed by how simple everyone made it!
I'm very disappointed....I've been waiting months for the rest of my order...i can never get a human being on the phone...im put on hold always...text them and still no response, they have my Money but they never answer the phone....i guess I have no choice but to drive back to the store to complain....ridiculous! I would never reccomend this place...maybe I need to contact the better business bureau to get some action!
I was very happy with the helpful service we received. I was a little put off by the sticker pricing, so always ask for a true quote from the sales staff. We placed our order and I am glad I didn't just order online.

Because of the Corona virus, Ashley's is experiencing major delays in their production and delivery. Because of this, they are offering some pretty good deals. I just wish, buying furniture here wasn't so much like shopping for a used car. I found a bed that I liked that was marked $1400 dollars, and after 20 minutes and the sales person "pulling strings and giving me a 30% discount and running numbers to get me the best deal," I end up buying the bed for $800. I wish they would just mark the furniture a fair price and skip the theatrics. If you want to buy a lot of furniture, they are also offering a lot of low and no fee financing options. Just be aware, it is going to be a LONG time until you actually get any of the furniture that you buy. I bought some stuff in July and its not expected to be delivered until November!!!
Have some really nice furniture and would give them a higher rating if they didn't use cheap bait and switch tactics to draw customers in. In my opinion these tactics are quite tacky and I'm embarrassed for the sales person who is in the middle.
My wife and I went to Ashley furniture and were lucky enough to get paired with Barb. She was beyond excellent! Her knowledge and expertise in bedding is far superior than anyone we have ever dealt with. If your looking for furniture or bedding, you must talk to Barb. She is the real deal. We will be returning customers and loyal to Barb for sure.
I purchased a sofa and was told that it would be available for pick up on 6/15 and they would call me to schedule a pick up time. Today I called the customer service line and find out it's not scheduled to get to the store until the 3rd of next month. I thought WTH?? I called the store and asked to speak to the person that handled my sale and was told they were with another customer, so I left my name and number for them to call me back - 2 hours later, no call. I called again and was told the same thing, they are with a customer. I explained I had called 2 hours earlier and they needed to call me back quickly. Guess what? 2 hours later and no call. Since the customer service dept. was now closed for the day, I went online and was able to chat with cust. svc. They actually offered to call me to resolve the issue. When they called a minute later, I explained all this and cancelled my order, letting them know that the biggest thing that affected my decision to cancel it was that the sales person never returned my calls. OK - fast forward 10 days later and my refund has not been completed. I call the cust. svc. and get told they had been waiting for me to call and verify my cancellation!! NOTHING was processed! Nothing was in the system saying that I actually had it cancelled, so they never processed my refund. Now I'm supposed to be hearing from their 'scheduling' dept. within 2 hours to verify that I cancelled the order. This is BS! I will NEVER buy anything from this company again. A shame to see such a good quality furniture manufacturer with people like this working in their stores.

Messed up my delivery 3 times!!! Finally got my piece delivered last week. Just opened my account to make a payment and found out that I was charged twice for the item which they fell to deliver twice. On top of it, they never respond to phone calls, had to go to the store every time they mess up. It`s not worth wasting your time and giving your business to someone who doesn`t respect your time. What a shame! You had one job! Never again!

Barb is awesome! She was very helpful and patient with helping me pick out a new couch for our living room. Our living room is quite small so the measurements had to be perfect. The set she helped me pick fits wonderfully and looks great! She was even great with my two little kids who were less than thrilled about furniture shopping.
My furniture was delayed multiple times and we spent a lot of money buying furniture for our whole house and they only want to give us 75 dollars to compensate for their mistakes . It will be over 3 months and we still haven’t received our full order!

Disappointing experience... bought stools...was handed 2 boxes and told I needed to assemble. Found them 1 day later for cheaper and then told it couldn't be price matched . Also told once signed for nothing can be returned. Very very very poor return policy. Not explained at all will not buy again

We ordered a dresser in Nov 2019 , we were told the estimated delivery would be the second week of Dec.. it's now the first week of February and the delivery truck pulls up with a broken dresser, call customer service and I'm told I can have a store credit or they can reorder the item, I paid for a item to be delivered in a reasonable amount of time , I want my money back..

We ordered a couch in August - mind you, we knew we would have to wait until October 5th for it to be picked up, as it had to be ordered in to the store. When October 5th arrived and went without a call to say it was in, we called on October 6th to find out where it was. We find out from an associate that our couch has been SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE, and we would have to wait until the 14th to pick it up because they had to order another one. So we wait until the 14th and when we receive no call, we call the store before they close. It took 5 HOURS, two calls to corporate to see if they could get ahold of anyone from the store (they couldn’t by the way) and when I did get ahold of the store, they had someone promise to call me back. Twice. Not once did the store call back, I ended up calling for a THIRD TIME THAT DAY and when they asked to call me back again I told them I would rather stay on hold. So I did for about half an hour. When someone finally got back on the phone, they couldn’t figure out if the couch was there or not. They finally inform us that the couch had arrived (again, had we not called we never would have known). We request to pick it up immediately because we’ve already waited an extra 9 days due to the store’s mistake. They inform us that pick up days are only Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We had a trip planned for the following week, so there was no way for us to pick it up before we left. We had to then wait until November 2nd to pick up because no one would answer the phones and it was impossible to get ahold of anyone!!! When we arrived to pick up the couch, no one was “busy” as they had been claiming - we saw at least 3 employees on their cell phones and others lounging around on different furniture. I understand that there are days that stores can become busy, however, there is no way that they are busy 24/7 and no one ever has a chance to pick up the phones. We were also told we would be allowed to check the couch for damages before taking it, but this was impossible as it was obviously still packaged up in its shipping packaging. This was a horrible experience and we will never be buying furniture from this store or company ever again. UPDATE: We opened the box to check it before unloading and the FRAME IS BROKEN. We are taking it back and going somewhere else for a couch. NEVER AGAIN will I purchase something from this company.
Horrible customer service and lies. I caught them in a few. The worst one being a $200 addition to my bill that I was told nothing about and they couldn't provide a signature that I had. I will never do business with them again.

I will NEVER order from Ashley Furnifure again in Johnstown, Pa. I ordered a table on 5/26 to be picked up in store. They said it could be picked up Saturday 6/8. When I went to get it it wasn't there and they had no idea where it was and said they think someone else had it? So after a call from customer service they said they would order another one but another 2 weeks. Asked what they were doing for my inconvenience and they offered to deliver it for free. Ok well now they are saying it won't be delivered until Friday 6/28. As of that date it will have been a month since I ordered this table!! I don't understand why nothing can be done to get this expedited for me. This place is ridiculous.

I dreaded having to pick up furniture for my new apartment as I knew it would be a drawn out process - that was until I met / dealt with Scott Geibig. He made the entire experience enjoyable. Scott had no issues picking up cabinets from one side of the building and carrying them over to the Livingroom set I was looking to purchase so we could coordinate colors / patterns. I walked away extremely satisfied and will come back again - as long as Scott is there! :)
I purchased a power lift recliner to help me get up from a seated position due to Parkinson's Disease. Exactly one week after delivery it stopped working. I called customer service. It is now another week and it is still not fixed. Ashley sent me the part they thought I would need (hopefully they are right), but now I have to wait 3 days for the outside repair company just to call to schedule an appointment. Who knows how long it will take to actually get the appointment. I can't believe an $1,100 chair only worked for 1 week.

I was shopping in the johnstown store Valentine’s Day. I expressed interest in purchasing a chair that I had been looking at earlier in the week I asked about any valentines or Presidents’ Day specials and the only way I was offered any special it was if I purchased the warranty and delivery on the chair. This brought the price of the chair to more than what the price of the chair with delivery was advertised through their website when I asked the associate about it and eventually the manager trish, they offered to price match the chair but I had to pay for shipping and delivery which I did not require. Manager expressed to me that they would have to charge extra because that’s how they stay in business and we’re comparing apples to apples. I asked Trish if she was willing to let a sale walk out the door rather than honoring the price. Yes she was. This store is all about making their commission and getting their numbers they don’t care about the customer. This is exactly why so many retail stores are closing, customers are being forced to shop on line to get the best deals.
I recently purchased a Power recliner which is really well made. The sales person (Brady) was great. Helped me find exactly what I was looking for which I found on line while I was shopping. He matched the price and made all the arrangements for me to pick it up. This is the second bigger item I have bought there and have not been disappointed. I also took advantage of the no interest for a year. Good job Brady. Oh and the rest of the Ashley's staff.

I had planned for delivery today and didnt schedule work hours as I figured they could show up any time. Well, 7 am I got a call they&'d be here in 30. We had gotten a storm last night. My long driveway was a sheet of ice. I prepared for lots of complaining. About 40 minutes later. They arrived. I apologized about the condition of my driveway. They had parked at the bottom. He said no worries. It&'s just a chest. It was, but a HUGE chest! He had me show him where it was going. Walked down my driveway. The two men carried the dresser up. They joked and talked with me. Both were so nice. Not one single complaint from them. That is so rare these days. I really appreciate their good service and truly hope ashley offers me a follow up survey.

Once again I was not disappointed with the excellent service I received at Ashley Furniture Store in Johnstown. The staff goes out of their way to make your furniture purchase a positive smooth experience. They were very helpful with suggestions to assist me with what I was looking for and making me aware of special offers that were available on my purchase to keep me within my budget. My consultant was Christina Wilden and she deserves a 10 star review on her own for the service she provided. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. 30 plus days and we’re still waiting for our new couch.....
First off, I would like to start off by saying I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am currently a military veteran and was active duty when I made my purchase. This is a review from January 2018 and is not based on the product I purchased but the company. I purchased a tempurpedic Ergo adjustable base for $1,999.00, Temp cloud supreme breeze queen for 3,599.00 and a few other items with a grand total $6,601.60. Gage was my home furnishing consultant. I explained to him that the queen-sized bed would be going upstairs and that I did not have a lot of clearance so I asked if the base was able to come apart to which he said it would and the mattress also comes rolled up. The delivery was in March of 2018 the time I was on leave. The delivery driver took one look at the stair case and said no way that base will go up those stairs. So, I say what do you mean. Well its one piece so it will not fit. So, he informed me the best option was to cancel everything including the head board and foot board and call the store. So, it did that. I purchased a double base which was an extra grand or so. I schedule the delivery for April which was the soonest they could reschedule because the base had to be shipped from Virginia. Well I was scheduled to deploy the day after the base is to be delivered. Not a big deal my Uncle and I both own the house so he can be home when I am gone. So, I call him and find out they delivered my base but no mattress. So, I call and I’m like where is my $3,599.00 mattress I deploy tomorrow and want to make sure everything is taken care of. So, they told me it was mistake and I would have to schedule another delivery so I said whenever is soonest. After getting a date worked out, I called my uncle to make sure the mattress was delivered and it was. I was relieved. So, the first purchase I used a synchrony bank card. Which I paid off with in a week. The second time I used my bank card which was the additional money that was needed for the double base. which I paid for over the phone when I scheduled my delivery. So, I get home and out of the military in October of 2018. Going through my mail I see that I have letters from Synchrony bank. Come to find out I was somehow billed on my Synchrony card for 781.88 (the late fees were added in). So, I call Ashley and explain the situation to them. They told me to call Synchrony so I did and also explained the situation to them. Synchrony said it wasn't possible for me to make a payment over the phone with Ashley. Synchrony told me to call Ashley back so I did. I split the payment on to bank cards. They were able to find only one. Thankfully I had bank statements. So, since my credit score took a hit, I ended up paying the minimum of $200 to Synchrony because I didn't know how long it would take to resolve. I had to call Ashley three times to get these issues resolved. I was supposed to get a call back but never did. Check my Synchrony account and see the Johnstown store directly paid Synchrony. Only for the original amount of $635.98 not the late fees. Synchrony was not going to refund me for the late fees of the $201.00 until I called. So, to clarify any confusion the $635.00 was somehow billed to Synchrony which incurred late fees to a grand total of $781.88. My mail was being shipped to my home of record instead of where I was stationed. To top it off I didn't find this out until after being discharged and returning to my home of record. I've seen plenty of miscommunication in the military and civilian life but this takes the icing off the cake. Oh, and the paper on the front of my receipt saying give us a thumbs up and a 5 Star Review! who says that? Maybe asking for a review of your experience but this a little demanding don't you think. I would not recommend buying anything at this location and because of my experience will never buy anything from this company or go through Synchrony bank ever again. You would think spending that kind of money one would receive better treatment. If this company treats someone who spent the amount of money that I did the way they treated me how do you expect them to treat someone who spends only a couple hundred dollars. This place is a joke. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
Getting furniture delivered from them is torture. I will not consider them for any future purchases
We worked with Gage on finding a new bedroom suite. He is very knowledgeable on the furniture and got us exactly what we needed. Awesome to work with!
