We will not be purchasing from Ashley Furniture again and would not recommend them based on our experience. A few years ago, we purchased a solid wood dining table along with the 5-year protection plan (~290). The table is lightly used and well cared for. Recently, we discovered a significant split in one of the table legs that follows the natural wood grain and appears to have originated near the fastening point — consistent with a structural stress fracture, not misuse. When reviewing the protection brochure (attached), cracking of leather is clearly excluded. However, there is no clear, plain-language exclusion stating that structural cracking or splitting of solid wood components is not covered. In fact, the brochure references cracking of finishes and veneers under certain conditions, which reasonably led us to believe wood failure would be addressed. After filing a claim, we learned that despite how the coverage is presented, this type of failure is effectively not covered. The language feels structured in a way that creates an impression of protection that does not hold up in practice. What was most disappointing was the lack of ownership during the resolution process. After multiple calls between the store, service department, and the protection plan company, each party redirected us elsewhere. No one took responsibility or attempted a good-faith solution. We understand warranties have limitations. However, when a product fails under normal use and a paid protection plan offers no practical coverage, it leaves a very sour taste.

They went above and beyond to ensure that we received the exact beds we wanted (which Ashley did not have in any area showrooms) for our twin boys. They gave us the very best price they could offer, and when arranging the purchase took some time to facilitate, they were patient with our 8-year--olds who were totally loopy after a long afternoon of furniture shopping. We received customer service at its best, from start to finish. I can’t recommend Jolene and her colleagues more!

I was contacted upon entering the store and was greeted by a very helpful and knowledgeable gentleman who directed me to the exact item that I was looking for. Once there, and after a short discussion, I made my purchase with the checkout process concluding in a very short and efficient manner. It was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase exceptional furniture.

And I thought Bob's was bad... I will never shop at Ashley again. I went in store and purchased a new sectional sofa. The whole time it was "Our products and service are superior, blah, blah, blah". It look about 3 weeks to deliver the sofa and when they installed it on of the recliners wouldn't;t work. The installer banged underneath it a couple times and then declared it should work. As soon as he left it stopped working. I called support. There solution was not to send a technician to fix it but to send me a new part. They said when I received the new part to call for a tech to come and repair it. That was 4 months ago!!! I'm still waiting on the part to get here. I've left messages sent emails made calls. I either get no response or I get the company line that shipping takes a while. Today they told me I should receive the part in Late November. I said "It's 11/25. it's already late November!" He said, "then you should get it any day now." Then he had the audacity to tell me I should make sure it works when it get's here. Really? "I" should make sure it works? Shaking my head. I paid over $4,000 for a poor quality on poor service sandwich with a side of we don't care!

I was very happy as I was contacted as soon as I walked on by a very friendly employee. It has been years since I have purchased any furniture. There was no feeling of pressure and shown a variety of recliners. I let him know what I could afford and was shown more than one option of styles which were in my price range. I loved the layout of the store. When I am able I will definitely be returning to this store for other furniture I need. My wife and I came in not expecting to buy a mattress, we were coming in to test out the beds and see where our search was going to take us. Dawan was super welcoming, helpful and a delight to work with while we tested out mattresses. He had TONS of helpful tips, made sure we were paying attention to specific parts of the beds to ensure we picked out the right one and helped us feel relieved of any anxiety and happy with our decision to pick up a mattress that day. Delivery timing is pretty flexible (at least for us since we were looking a little ahead in the future) and the staff/store was nice and friendly to everyone else in the store during our visit.

I am not one to complain or post negative but I had one of the worst experiences of my life with Ashley’s Furniture. It was a total rip-off. The couch I received was damaged and arrived in two broken pieces. The customer service was absolutely terrible. Multiple representatives were unhelpful and had a bad attitude. Despite spending a good amount of money, I was left with a broken product and no assistance.It felt like they were only interested in taking my money. I strongly advise others to stay away from Ashley’s Furniture. Worst Furniture Store Experience EVER.

Steve was a pleasure to work with the entire time. Prior to coming into Ashley Furniture we had come from a competitors store very near by and our experience with the sales person at the other store was nowhere close to the professionalism that we received from Steve! I purchased the mod max sectional. Steve was very helpful in explaining different ways the sofa could be arranged. Steve also gave me a good price. This is my first Ashley furniture purchase hoping the furniture will stand the 5 year test of time :) Follow up review on the mod max sectional; 1.Not comfortable at all 2. The material is terrible , does not ' breathe' fuzzy in feel. 3. I was told the material is pet friendly. 100% NOT. 4.Definitely would NOT purchase this again. I reduced the furniture quality to a one star.

My wife and I went into the store to look at recliners. This was after a meal and we had no intention of buying anything. After meeting our sales person, Ray, we became more receptive to buying there. After finding a recliner we both really liked, we still had no intention of buying that day. But as we took turns sitting in it and talked more with Ray. We decided to go ahead and purchase two. Whatever you do, do not go for their finance option. You end up paying almost triple for their cheap junk products. They claim their wood products are real like the displays, then when it arrives it's paper board. Never again.

Bought a whole living room set 3 years ago and the sofa cushion on the right side settled in on the back of the sofa, they refuse to cover it saying it's normal wear and tear, so basically they're saying the furniture only has a 3 year life span, I also bought the 5 year extended warranty. But it will not cover that. Stay away if you want furniture that will last longer than 3 years. Adding to this review Feb 4th 2025 Now my reclining sofa the foot rest is doing the same thing as the other sofa. DO NOT BUY THEIR FURNITURE.

We came into the store on August 18th looking for a headboard and footboard and frame. Found what we wanted and the salesperson Josh Gavin helped us. He told us that we would have this no problem within 4 weeks, 6 weeks max. Was just told now maybe November 5th, but no guarantee. If we had known this I would not have purchased this here. We were assured 4 weeks... I feel like we were lied to so a sale could be made. So in the mean time sleeping on the floor... when I explained to the Manager that maybe they should train their staff not to set false expectations, didn't seem to care. I would be leery to purchase anything from this store, as they will tell you anything to make a sale. If my purchase is delayed again, or I can find something to deliver now, I will be getting my money back for false information given.

I was looking for a loveseat for my mother who is in the hospital. I arrived at the Lancaster show room enter the store, and Lauren greeted me at the door with a smile on her face. She had a great attitude and personality. I showed her a picture of the loveseat we saw online. Lauren said the loveseat was in the show room. She showed it to me. With my mother being in the hospital, she gave me the information and price on it so I could take it back to my mom and discuss it with her and get back in touch with Lauren. She returned my call right away two times to answer questions, and to order the loveseat. Lauren went above and beyond my expectations, especially when I asked her to measure the seat, width and depth, so I could order a covering for it she measured it the next day! I received the wrong furniture and the couch I received had a huge hole in it, and the delivery guys tried to hide the hole by placing that side against the wall and quickly ran out. I never received the email receipt like they said at the store that they would send. Then customer service has no clue what they're doing.

If you're in the market for a new piece of furniture, stop what you're doing, drive to Ashley Furniture on Plaza Blvd and ask for RAY! Ray was very friendly and greeted us as such. My husband and I had an idea of what we wanted from a photo we found online but wanted to compare in person. Ray gave us space to browse through the store on our own before returning to him for recommendations (we all know this isn't always the case at some stores with employees chasing you around). We showed him the sofa photo we found online and not only did he provide comparable material options so we could test them out in person, but he also was able to price match and made the entire purchase process a BREEZE. He was extremely personable, and it felt like we've known Ray forever- easy going, conversation was natural, he was very patient and he was very knowledgeable. We've been Ashley Furniture customers for life due to their quality and had good experiences previously, but never did we ever have an employee & shopping experience as great as we did with Ray. Not as much inventory as we had hoped. Every couch store feels like you’re getting attacked by vultures. You don’t have to follow me and tell me every detail about an item or convince me it’s right for me.. if I have questions I’ll ask. Not coming back to Ashley, bobs furniture or any of the big box stores. You can find a local competitor who may buy Ashley’s brand and give you a better discount!! That’s what we did.

We just had a great experience at Ashley! We went in looking for a new couch and Sunny came through! I typically get annoyed by sale people but Sunny wasn’t pushy with my husband and I. Not only that, but was patient with us. After we purchased the couch and were driving to get lunch, we talked about how we probably would’ve ended up checking out other stores before deciding if we dealt with someone other than Sunny. We found a great set that we immediately fell in love with! Karen had told us how popular it was and about how great the fabric of the sofa set was and all about the special features which was all a bonus on top of us just liking the design and style. We bought the set and were extremely happy with the service and we are excited to receive our new furniture.
