If you're in the market for a new piece of furniture, stop what you're doing, drive to Ashley Furniture on Plaza Blvd and ask for RAY! Ray was very friendly and greeted us as such. My husband and I had an idea of what we wanted from a photo we found online but wanted to compare in person. Ray gave us space to browse through the store on our own before returning to him for recommendations (we all know this isn't always the case at some stores with employees chasing you around). We showed him the sofa photo we found online and not only did he provide comparable material options so we could test them out in person, but he also was able to price match and made the entire purchase process a BREEZE. He was extremely personable, and it felt like we've known Ray forever- easy going, conversation was natural, he was very patient and he was very knowledgeable. We've been Ashley Furniture customers for life due to their quality and had good experiences previously, but never did we ever have an employee & shopping experience as great as we did with Ray. We will ONLY be asking for Ray from here on out! Thanks for everything Ashley Furniture and Ray! :)

Not as much inventory as we had hoped. Every couch store feels like you’re getting attacked by vultures. You don’t have to follow me and tell me every detail about an item or convince me it’s right for me.. if I have questions I’ll ask. Not coming back to Ashley, bobs furniture or any of the big box stores. You can find a local competitor who may buy Ashley’s brand and give you a better discount!! That’s what we did.

We just had a great experience at Ashley! We went in looking for a new couch and Sunny came through! I typically get annoyed by sale people but Sunny wasn’t pushy with my husband and I. Not only that, but was patient with us. After we purchased the couch and were driving to get lunch, we talked about how we probably would’ve ended up checking out other stores before deciding if we dealt with someone other than Sunny. You need a couch and don’t want some cliche annoying sales person helping you? Then ask for Sunny!

We walked in to this Ashley location and we were immediately greated by Karen. She was extremely friendly and personable. My husband and I were looking for a new living room set, and Karen kindly took our names, asked us what we thought we were looking for, told us about the sale and let us peruse. We found a great set that we immediately fell in love with! Karen had told us how popular it was and about how great the fabric of the sofa set was and all about the special features which was all a bonus on top of us just liking the design and style. We bought the set and were extremely happy with the service and we are excited to receive our new furniture.

The customer service online and through their telephone number is AWFUL. They have poor connection (as if their customer service's is located in ghetto areas or different countries), bad attitude, and they don't care about the customer's concerns at all. One of my orders that was delivered to my house had an imbalanced chair. The process to file a claim and schedule a technician is very tedious and excessive (almost like they're purposely stalling so you can't make returns) and they don't care about reaching you at a time that's convenient for you. I've had to make several calls and each time they promise to contact the person in charge of my case but it's been weeks and I still have no reply. Returning things is also a nightmare... I understand most furniture stores do not allow for free returns but they don't update you on whether or not you'll get your refund even after you've sent them information regarding the return in transit. It's stressful not knowing whether their guest services are listening or keeping track of your orders. Overall, definitely not ordering online from Ashley's again.
Came into the store on May 13th with my parents for a new couch. Zach was absolutely so helpful! We were able to find exactly what we wanted and be in and out of the store in under half an hour. Would definitely recommend this store and their staff!

My grandmother and I went shopping for a few things today during Ashley’s big sale in Lancaster. As soon as we got in we were greeted by Terry Rutter and she helped us find everything we were looking for. As soon as we gave a description of what we were looking for she knew exactly where to look. She was super helpful and very kind. We were a little difficult but Terry didn’t seem phased. Any time we changed our minds she stayed calm and remained helpful. I’d recommend her to anyone considering heading to Ashley’s for furniture.

Our experience was outstanding from the time we entered the Lancaster store. Androw greeted us and immediately accessed our needs; he then found a sales associate that could help us with what we were looking for. Paul S. found a recliner in their inventory that had every feature we wanted (Riptyme swivel, glide, recliner). While they didn't have one on the floor Paul took us around to several different but similar chairs so we could see firsthand the different features, textures, and sizes. The price point was comparable to on-line sellers of similar chairs, with the additional confidence of a local store to back the product. Paul looked to save us money where he could and offered us sale pricing and extended warranty options. Lauren also stopped by while Paul was putting the sale together to make sure we were well attended to. We purchased the chair and now await its delivery. Paul, Lauren, and Androw worked together seamlessly to find what we were looking for and give us a deal we were happy with.

Purchased 3 pieces for our living room with zero issues in store. Delivery took longer than some competitors we've shopped with before but quality is no different. Upon delivery one our couches had a broken seat. It was far less firm than the other. Ashley sent 2 brand new cushions so they'd "match" within a week. No one gave us ANY trouble in store or on the phone when discussing issues. I've got a feeling that those people leaving 1 star reviews might deserve what they got...treat people nicely and with respect and you get that back.

DO NOT BUY ANY FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE! YOU ARE BEING WARNED!!! ITS CHEAP QUALITY. ANYBODY CAN MAKE SOMETHING LOOK GOOD. YOU GUYS CHARGED ME $6,000!!! for a bed set that is $10 quality and gave me wood frames to hold my bed up when it should have been metal frames with my mattress on top. it all resulted in my bed breaking because the frames are wood as a result of the frames being wood i am now sleeping on the floor. A bed comes with metal frames or be prepared the bed will break over time. What the heck? Since Ashley does not care about the quality of furniture they sold me I don’t care about posting your terrible furniture quality! Enjoy my pics😉

I WILL NEVER BUY A PIECE OF ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN. First my wife and I go to the store to look at and purchase a couch the sales lady said she would be right with us after she finished up with prior customers. That never happened. So we ordered online after 2 weeks we get a couch with water damage and a hole in the front that was patched with blue fabric the couch is TAN WE have to wait another 2 weeks and they will make sure it's inspected before loading?

I went into the store looking for counter stools and a sofa and left having purchased counter stools and a sofa! Delighted with the service I received from Zach and Derek -- they were patient, helpful, and nice as pie!
Our stuff came couple weeks latter the Couch part did not match the other 1/2 and they said 6 to 8 week to get another 1 cause they messed up and the big tv/ fire place thing we goo they put tougher and was just 2 brackets for top self and rest was all tougher + the doors did not line up had at fix and adjust the doors and customer service was a joke to my wife no help or wiling to come and fix what was not done and now have to wait more to get the right color and they say can be 6 to 8 weeks just poor service e also other family had problem as well

I take back my five-star review. This purchase has been nothing but a nightmare. I gave a five-star review because my sales person was a young brand new employee and a review was requested before I left the store while I was waiting and I thought no problem. However, delivery... Nightmare protection plan nightmare. Nothing was explained to me in detail. I had no idea that this low budget furniture store gave you 72 hours to exchange or return. I've never heard of such a thing. Off to raymour and flanigan I go! I donated the chair. What a waste of time. Never again.

I don't typically write reviews unless I feel really good about an experience. My trip to Ashley's was one of those good experiences. On two separate trips, I had the pleasure of working with Jeanette and Amanda - both very personable, knowledgeable and very helpful. I appreciated the atmosphere of the store as I didn't feel that staff was being pushy; they allow customers to have their space. Every question that I had was answered quickly and Amanda worked with me to make choices and figure out possible layouts for my living room. They were having a 30% off sale and I purchased 3 pieces of living room furniture for a great price. Thank you Amanda and Jeanette - and everyone that I encountered that day. All of you made the unpleasant task of furniture shopping easy and enjoyable. 😁

My husband and I just purchased a sectional for our living room, Gaireth answered all of our questions and made the process very easy!
After 6 weeks, my sectional was delivered, it had a big streak along the one cushion almost like a grease mark and marks on the back, the men who delivered it said ashleys would clean it, so my mom signed for it, now I'm waiting another 4 to 6 weeks to have the fabric delivered to me and then for them to come fix it, this is unexceptable, that I have to wait this long for my furniture to be fixed. I am pissed

If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been the worst furniture experience ever. Bob O’Malley told us he ordered our furniture in September 2023. It is now January 2024. We found out today that it was never ordered and that O’Malley doesn’t work there anymore. We have had problems with this business since June 2023.
Where can I start? 1. THERE IS NOT ONE OF THESE IN THE UNITED STATES THAT IS NOT A MASSIVE RIP OFF. All of their furniture is incredibly cheap, made incredibly poor, and upcharged an INSANE amount. They push USELESS WARRANTIES. When their movers/delivery people break the furniture they give a hard time about replacing it and basically call you a liar. 0 OUT OF 10 WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND. The same bedset was 50% cheaper brand new at a bargain furniture store. Come back to Earth, Ashley furniture.
I bought a sofa and love seat and had them delivered after a six week wait on 12/26/23. They were both delivered with stains. I showed both to the third party delivery guys. They asked me to sign. I said I did not want to. I do not want stained furniture. They told me I had to write on the paper where all the stains were, sign and call Ashley Store. So I called them as the men left. Ashley told me I need to send pictures and their repair team will get back to me. I said I want replacement. They said it isn’t how it works and I need to wait. Next day I still heard nothing and I went into the store to talk to manager. She said I should have rejected delivery. I said I told them I did not want to sign. They told me my only option was to write down the problem. I then asked to have new furniture ordered since it takes a good six weeks to get. They said no I have to wait for repair team to call. I asked if they could call now. They said they don’t have a direct line they can email. Several days later I get a call while in the doctor examine room with my daughter. I asked if they could call back in 30 min. They assured me they could. They did not. So I called the number back. The guy that answered said he can’t help me as I have to talk to the specific technician that called me. So I called Ashley again and asked them to connect me. They said again they can’t. They will send an email and will take up to 72 hours. I asked again for them to order my new furniture. They said they can’t until repair team comes to my house. Several days later I again get a call from the same repair team number. I answer but there is no one there. Today I called Ashley again and was very upset. I want a new sofa and love seat ordered. They refuse to help. They said they will send repair team another email and will take up to 72 hours. She said her computer says they have been trying to reach me. Really???? Where are my voicemails on my phone? They don’t exist. I have a call history and checked to make sure voicemail works. I’d give them 0 stars for their 0 ability to solve problems if I could.

We purchased a new bedroom set. They delivered and put it together. The box spring they brought made the bed so extremely high we can barely get in it. We looked at the frame to make sure it was put together correctly and it looks good, so the only thing it could be is an incorrect box spring. We know the bed was not like this in the show room. We called the store and we were told there is nothing they could do for us since we didn't send it back with the delivery people. We are stuck having to buy a low profile box spring or a piece to put in its place of the box spring.
If u buy something dont buy it through karen. She will straight up lie to you if you have a problem with a piece you buy from them. They have a 3rd party that handles issues and she says she keeps trying to contact them and waiting for word back. After a month we find out ourselves who that 3rd party is and contact them only to find out they never heard even once from karen. After waiting a month ...nothing next day after we contact them they finally come out. Ashley sold a piece that didnt work and karen didnt want to assist at all maybe because she would lose commission? After talkkng to karen she ignores the fact and no apologies.
Love the store, not the style of furniture that I like, I gotmore of a modular sectional but this store is well organized sales people.
I purchased a bed, nightstand, mattress, and mattress pad at this Lancaster location for my daughter. I was told by the salesperson when I ordered it that, “your order will be delivered “. This was perfect, as I don’t live in Lancaster. On delivery, I was informed that the mattress pad, is not included in delivery, and that the store would contact me to pick it up. On receiving the call, I asked if it could be mailed to me, as I did not live in Lancaster and it didn’t make sense for me to drive there solely for a mattress pad. I was simply told “No” they would not do this. As such, I requested that they refund that portion of my payment, and I would just purchase a mattress pad online, to which I was also told that the only way they would refund me was for me to drive into the store and give them my credit card. Next, I called customer service, who “escalated” the issue and was to call me back to me in 24-48 hours. One week later, when still I had not received a call, I called again, and was told, “It doesn’t matter what our employee told you, our policy is that we don’t deliver mattress pads, and we don’t refund credit cards unless you drive to the store”. Ashley Furniture is the epitome of all that is wrong with customer service (or the lack, thereof). I will never again buy from this company, will never recommend them, and will go out of my way to let others know as well!

Bob was very helpful from the start. However, after that things were not so great. We had checked out some other places and later in the day we went back. We were looking for a new bed as well as a new mattress. Bob and Sunny were helpful with us in that process. Unfortunately, when we decided we wanted to go home and think about it we got negative attitude ( very blatantly, literally heard the huff and puff ) and even though they offered to send us pictures so we can match it home we never received them. We were going to purchase from there. It was just a possible change in piece and additional pieces. But, after the attitude we received. We have decided to purchase elsewhere.
Came from a bad experience at another store and left Ashley Furniture super happy and satisfied with the products we picked and customer service we received. Absolute 10/10 - Lauren who helped us was so great and knowledgeable. Delivery went very smoothly and quickly, definitely worth the extra charge. Totally recommend to anyone looking around for any furniture.

Absolute worst customer service experience of my life. My boyfriend and I spent $3500 at Ashley to furnish our bedroom and living room. The first issue: We were told THREE different prices on the furniture before we purchased it at a higher price then we were originally quoted for. Annoying, but we let it go. Second issue: The day we move into our new house, the furniture was delivered. The movers demanded $50 cash to bring the furniture inside. I said absolutely not. They threw a fit but eventually brought it inside our house. Third issue: We bought a $1000 bed frame from Ashley that we then slept on for a total of 5 NIGHTS before it collapsed. And by collapsed, I mean there are wooden slats laying around our bedroom. I was on the bed when it collapsed and my head hit the wall. We also bought the 5 year protection plan on the bed frame. What. A. Joke. No refund. No store credit. It’s been a week and no one has returned our call to come fix it. The people at the desk have been nothing but rude and unhelpful in this situation. This place is a joke. Please spend your hard earned money anywhere besides this trashy “business”, if you can even call it that. If I could give this dumpster fire of a store zero stars, I would.
The worse place to get furniture I order a bedroom suit with box spring and mattress payed cash over $2700 now the boxspring is to high for that Bed I have 23 inches in height Bed comes to my chest I can't get up on it I come to the store tell them about It they going to say there's no return now I have to buy another box spring stick the other ones up my &&& cause I have no use for that boxspring that they won't retune worse place that can't get your stuff in time order in June 07 didn't get it till July 07 and still not right

We stopped at Ashley Store on a whim while we were in the area. There is a nice selection on pieces laid out with a comfortable amount on space to walk around. We happen to find a couch and love seat in a desired style, color, and texture at an affordable price. The salesperson was informative but not pushy. We opted to leave and think about it. Layer we returned to speak to a different salesperson who helped us get the order placed. I was thinking of saving the $120 delivery charge by picking up at the store, but this is not an option. This was not communicated early in the discussion. Therefore, I am compelled to give 4 stars on my review. In the future, I would consider Ashley, but probably not as a first choice.
Today at 11 AM on 340 an Ashley furniture truck cut a car off in intercourse PA. The truck driver then almost ran over a group of pedestrians walking the street. The driver then proceeded to yell at the pedestrians. All in all very violent personnel that Ashley furniture store hires.

I went to the store to see a loveseat I had picked out online. They sold it to me $200 less than the online price and promised delivery in 5 days.

Be cautious when you buy something here they use the cheapest/shadiest delivery people possible. They were supposed to assemble something for me, but instead they were casing my house for something to steal. Its sad you can't find honest people anymore.
Terrible experience waiting 4 to 6 weeks then they deliver me a broken couch and it would not recline had a bent frame so I rejected the couch and they told me I'd have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for another one so I told them to return my money and they said ok but when I went to the store to get my money back they told me I would only get $600 back of the $859 I paid because I didn't expect the broken couch or re order another one it's ridiculous they basically steal money from people it wasn't my fault the couch was damaged but they didn't care very rude and unpleasant to deal with I will never ever shop there again.
This Ashley store is TERRIBLE! The staff and customer service couldn’t be worse. I bought a chair from them and it took them 9 months to deliver it! When I would call to ask about it the phone would ring for no less than 10 minutes each time I tried to call. When they would finally answer they would blame Covid and hang up on me. Eventually they stopped answering my calls. So I called corporate. A very nice representative and I attempted a conference call with the manager of this store but as soon as my name was mentioned they hung up. I will never do business with them again and strongly advise everyone to shop elsewhere.
Ashley Furniture has great sofas but customer service is not good. They have very poor customer service. Most of their employees do not know what they are doing. I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants to buy furniture. I recommend going elsewhere.
We purchased a couch and a love seat and a recliner which are called the party time furniture in October of 2020 and brought a 5 year warranty named GBS. They won't cover the cupholders that light up . When the cupholders short out that causes the piece of furniture to quit working and when you unplug the cupholders the chair works. I talk to a guy who replaced other under the warranty and they were fixed no questions asked so I probably won't go back or send people there. I will be contacting the BBB soon
Absolutely horrible experience. I ordered a sectional and a bed frame. When they delivered it only half the sectional arrived. Took them 2 days to find where they’d sent the other half and it was a warehouse 3 hours away. They told me they couldn’t get it delivered for at least 3 weeks, but I could go pick it up myself. I asked if I need an appointment they said no. So I went down to get it myself, only to find the warehouse closed for a week. 6 hours of driving and gas money and still no couch. Went down next week to get it, they loaded it in my truck, got it home to find it broken when I unwrapped it. I went into the store, they created a claim and said I’d hear back…never did. It’s been over 2 months know and still no replacement for the broken couch. Save yourself the headache do not shop here.
We have had a wonderful experience working with Sunny at Ashley! She helped us take measurements and met with us twice this past weekend to order the perfect couch for our home! She walked us through every step and was incredibly knowledgeable about the products. Excited to get it delivered to our home!

Items shipped and delivered by a delivery team were perfect. Other smaller items sent were damaged. Was able to get a quick replacement for one item, an end table was damaged. I was told to donate it and send voucher for replacement. No one wanted it. Still trying to get my damaged end table replaced. Making the entire experience totally aggravating.
Do yourself a favor and do not purchase furniture from these people. The underside of our couch tore/caved in within 2 years of purchase (no kids, just normal use). When contacting Ashley for a repair we were forced to pay a $150 repair fee (the extra warranty/protection package also did not cover a tear in the base). This was over 2 weeks ago and we still have not been contacted to schedule a repair. Useless furniture, useless customer service.
We had Tonya help us with a sectional purchase we didn’t even realize we were getting. She was personable and helpful. She answered all of our questions and eased us through the process of finding the right one for our space. We cannot wait for it to be delivered!
Received furniture with a hole in it and a broken motor. Had to pay $150 for this white glove service. Was told I could return the one sofa but would have to pay an additional $150 for this "white glove service" again; return it all and reorder (and sit on the floor for 4 weeks at 8 and half months pregnant until it arrives) or let them "patch it" but even if I'm not happy with it I'm stuck with it. Glad I spent almost 3k for this awesome experience.

My wife and I visited the Lancaster Store at the end of July needing a new box spring because half of our King Size box spring cracked. I only needed one twin sized box spring because the other one was still fine. We were introduced to a woman named Amy who said she was a manager at another store, and was filling in because they were short staffed. Amy told us that there were no box springs in the store, but that if we sent her the information she could look it up and we could do an order over the phone. Long story short Amy's cross reference of our box spring was wrong and they sent us a low profile box spring when we needed an 11". I called Amy right away and she said she would get it fixed right away. We heard back from Amy one more time before communication stopped and I was forced to call into the store to get help from someone else. When I did call they told me that they knew of my situation and were working on getting it fixed. Again I stopped hearing back from the store and so I found a way to load the box spring into my car and drove it down to the store to get a refund so I could do business with someone else after over a month of trying to get the situation resolved. It was there that I talked to Liz, another store manager filling in. Liz informed me that the store didn't have the ability to give me a refund and that all returns needed to be cleared by corporate and I would hear back in 72 hours. I also learned that someone from the store had forged my signature on a copy of the invoice because my transaction was done totally on the phone and this was the reason that the store wouldn't give me a refund. I will be seeking legal action for the forgery. In summary, this store stole $300 from my wife and I. They obviously don't know their product well enough to provide alternates, the communication between the store and their customers is awful, they committed illegal activity by forging my signature, and have caused my family over two and a half months worth of suffering because of having to fight this battle. I would not wish this experience on anyone. I have worked in sales for over 15 years and I would never treat my customers this way. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND RUN THE OTHER WAY FROM THE LANCASTER STORE AND ASHLEY FURNITURE IN GENERAL. They are criminal and I will be continuing to fight them about this issue.
Warning!! Do not buy from the Ashley company. When a defective product is sold that should be covered by their one year warranty. They will tell you that the main support beam that snapped after less than a year of use is not an issue with their manufacturing. When I asked for a fax number so I could have an attorney get in contact with them I was hung up on. Completely unprofessional. Will also be contacting PA attorney general.
SKETCHY, UNHELPFUL!! If I could give them a ZERO I would in a HEARTBEAT!! DO NOT shop at the LANCASTER PA Ashley Furniture store!!! Sales people seem legit and helpful, but at the end of the day when you ask for help because the overpriced product they sold you ends up leaking oil/grease, they want nothing do to with it or you! And don’t even bother calling CORPORATE in Philly! They’re no better! Both the local office and corporate office are a JOKE and continue to push you off saying they’ll have a manager get back to you ASAP and it NEVER HAPPENS!! They do not care! A POOR EXCUSE FOR a company and for true customer service! P.S.- We have had issues with the local Ashley Furniture since August 2022 and it’s now October! We were told over and over again that the store manager would call us back, days passed until we got a call so we called back and we’re told that said manager does not work there anymore. Does ANYONE in the store have an actual clue as to what’s going on?? We should have known better from the very beginning when the lured us in with a “no downpayment” deal then a few minutes later asked for the bare minimum of a downpayment. 😒
I am highly disappointed with the service I have received from the staff at Ashley Furniture. I went to Ashley to buy a headboard and they talked me into getting my Tempur-pedic mattress from them too. I have regretted that decision since. I was told I could exchange the mattress and pay a $175.00 restocking fee which I agreed to. It has been months and I have visited the store in person on 4 separate occasions and have called numerous times. Each time I am told it is being taken care of which is far from the truth. I wish I would have not recommended them to friends who bought a bedroom suite from them and you guessed it, they messed their order up too. My advice is shop somewhere else and save yourself a lot of grief.

Ashley Furniture lacks professionalism, customer service skills, and expertise on the products they are selling. There is also a huge disconnect between the retail store (Lancaster) and the warehouse that no one seems to want to address. I had a horrible experience when I ordered an ottoman and sofa from the store and went to pick it up at the warehouse. Both places were clueless about what I purchased even after I showed them a receipt.

Grace Davis helped us the first night, she was great explained everything and was so fun to work with. We had to go home and measure, so the next night we came back to place our order, Grace wasn't there so Danielle Schott helped us. Both Ladies were so helpful and fun to work with and no pressure, that was great! Now I have to talk about Customer Service Desiree and Eric talk about the life of the party, they are so much fun to talk to. We had so many laughs it was great! Our order was delivered and set up the guys were wonderful! To sum it up our experience was very enjoyable, I would recommend you go see for yourself, we love our furniture, two loveseat recliners and a rocker recliner. Thanks again for all your help!

UPDATED! We received the delivery after 3 failed attempts. The bed frame broke as my 5 year old daughter slept in the bed. (It was put together incorrectly by Ashley delivery men). Ashley’s Furniture never came out to fix it or refund or replace the frame. They also gave us a different mirror for the dresser; a much cheaper one that doesn’t match the set. We called everyone under the sun and no one helped us. After paying $2000+ we received no refund as Ashely DOES NOT REFUND ANYTHING! They said they use a 3rd party to deliver and install and they won’t take responsibility! We had to buy wood and make our own bed frame as we can’t afford to buy a new one as we spent $2000+ on furniture that is cheap! PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! ASHLEY take responsibility!! We are unsatisfied customers and want what we paid for!! It’s been a horrible experience. I am going on 24 weeks for a bedroom set for our 4 year daughter. We still haven’t received it. Customer service is rude and unprofessional.

Waited months for a bunk bed to be delivered. Had it delivered also paid for it to be assembled and they totally rushed out after delivering it. I’ve been trying to get a hold of the store and the phone rings and rings. Nobody answers I tried to call customer service and they are no help. All I want is my money back for the assembly. Paid $150 just to build it myself 😤😡
Sandy Bareford was an excellent sales associate!! She was knowledgeable, friendly and tech savvy! She not only showed us the color of the couch/loveseat that we purchased on the large screen computer in the store, but also contacted another store that had the color on the floor. We were then able to got and see the set at that store before we made our final purchase. Mikey, the customer service representative was great too! He was very friendly, thorough and efficient. Ashley Home can be proud of these employees!

Went for a presidents day sale and it was a bait and switch!! 40% advertised but very few products on sale! Also, products are on backorder 15 weeks! And lastly the furniture is not quality at all. Cheap materials and poorly made.

This has been an overall TERRIBLE experience. This beautiful King size bed was put together with 1/2 inch screws… that stripped immediately when it was delivered in MAY 2021. They came out to fix it in June and they immediately stripped again. Trying to get anyone to do anything with customer service was a nightmare- I was told they were short staffed and to be patient. And I was. I wanted the bed picked up and to be refunded or a credit given- as a last ditch effort they said they’d replace the hardware- so I thought maybe they’d send me updated, better screws to hold together this giant bed. They didn’t. Half inch screws again. Forget it. I asked them to pick it up or credit us, they said it’s been “too long” after they told me they were short staffed and I waited MONTHS! So I needed to talk to a manager if I wanted that… I’ve been calling weekly, and told “wade” would call me back within 2-3 days… nothing. I’ve been calling weekly since November. I’m so disgusted, the quality is not worth the price or the headache.
Ashley Furniture employee, Alivia, was the most gracious, polite, and helpful sales person I've ever experienced working with. She went out of her way to find exactly what I was looking for and in the price range I had in mind and in the time frame I was needing it, as well. If, in business, I was looking to hire someone in Sales, I would hope it would be someone like Alivia. Thanks Ashley Furniture for putting her in the position of helping your customers.
Great customer awareness and service but 15 weeks to actually get 1 couch delivered?
I had positive experiences with 4 employees on two visits to the Ashley HomeStore in Lancaster, PA. On Wednesday, 12/ 22/21, as soon as I walked into the store, I was pleasantly greeted by a lady and a gentleman. (I apologize for not knowing their names but hopefully you can look back to see who was working that evening.) I asked them if they had a specific table in stock (I showed them a picture). The gentleman took me back to their computer, determined that they didn't have that table but paged through the screens to see if there may have something similar that might interest me. After looking, I decided that I was still interested in the first table I asked about. The gentleman proceeded to quote a very good price but did inform me that the shipment may take awhile due to supply chain issues (which I appreciated). At that time, I told the gentleman that I would give it some thought. This gentleman influenced me to come back. On my next visit, 12/27/21, I was again pleasantly greeted by the lady I met before. I asked if the gentleman who worked with me before was working this night. He wasn't but Chris worked with me and he took my order and gave me the price that I was given on 12/22. Chris was great to work with - pleasant and professional. And I need to mention another gentleman who greeted me while I waiting (which was not long). All four of the employees were exactly what I prefer when I shop - professional and easy to speak with. Thank you all for your help. I wish you all the best in 2022! Mark S. I will never buy anything again. Ordered and Paid in January. Delivered in April without feet and damaged furniture. Multiple calls. Stopped at store. Salesman walked us to service desk and disappeared. More Calls. Finally had to contact PA ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE. Last Repair Man and final fix completed in November. Never Again. Furniture not made in USA and when you walk out the store you deal with 3rd party vendors.
I bought 5 years coverage for the furnitures that i purchased 4 years ago from Ashley. The lady behind the counter said i will not have any coverage for the furnitures that i bought 4 years ago if i don’t bring the papers. Who keeps papers for years ?!! It’s 2022 already!!! You should have the information in your system. They basically charge people more for the coverage and when you need it they play stupid!!!
Black Friday was a year ago we paid in full and for extended warranty. We’ve called everyone only to be transferred to someone else several times. Our format e took forever for delivery was damaged, sent a repair guy out six months after reaching out who made it worse that’s it was to begin with. We reached out again months later we were told someone different would be sent out to do a correct repair. Same guy showed up and it’s even worse. It’s be some a safety concern for out grand children. At this point with the amount of staples he left sticking out as far as he did Again I am having to turn to this review platform with hopes that someone who cares may actually do something about it.
Very unhappy with the salesman. Kept leaving and said he would come back with a price and then we waited and saw him talking with other customers. Should have finished with us first. Told us one price and then when it was time to get our information he said he messed up and it was $770.00 more. Also he told us if we did not use the five year protection plan we would get all our money back. After we signed papers the girl at the front desk gave us a paper that said we will not get our money back but a credit towards merchandise at the store. Very deceiving store.

Honestly the worst sales experience I’ve ever had. Nicholas lied to us the whole time. We got the delivery and the sofa was damaged. So we told the delivery crew that they needed to take it back and they refused. So now we are stuck with a damaged couch. Absolutely terrible service all the way around
Great sales experience with Nick. Very disappointed on delivery and dishonest response and excuses. We were told clear the day and scheduled for 11/1 and told we would receive a call the day before. No call came so I had someone available all day at my house and we started calling the store mid morning. Several calls no answer and no voicemail then I finally got the person who scheduled the delivery. She confirmed it was going to be delivered 11/1. I requested confirming no issue since we didnt get a call yesterday. I was told that can't be done because they can't call anyone, but call later if it doesn't get delivered and an email could be sent. By afternoon still no call and no furniture. I call the store a person answered and took my number and concern and told me they are busy and I am the only one with a delivery complaint today. I was taken aback as if she inferred this must be my issue. Several calls no answer and then the return call goes to the person I had waiting at my house. The same person who scheduled the date and Confirmed it to me in the morning then says we requested a change and when She was told that was incorrect she then said she changed it on the day of purchase because 11/1 was full. I guess we were telepathically suppose to know this and why was I told in the morning that it was scheduled 11/1. So now here we are with no furniture an empty living room and hoping it shows up 11/5. No one offered a resolution or compensation for their errors and lies and in the meantime I will now havr Someone with 2 days lost wages waiting. My addendum: furniture arrived 4 days late but is beautiful and they contacted us with a discount and fortunately the lying employee appatently no longer works there. I appreciate that and went from 5 stars to 1 star to 3 stars.
ETA of delivery was 2 weeks ago and we were told that we would receive a call with an update by 10/15. No one has ever called and they do not answer the phone (w/ no option for vm). I have called other locations but they are not associated to this location.

My Partner and I walked into this Ashley HomeStore as first time buyers. We were prepared to visit other stores that day, perhaps even end the day empty handed. Instead, we walked out confident and very happy with our first big purchase! All Sales Reps were nice and professional, but a special shout out to Alivia, who was the first to approach us as we wandered the store. She checked up on us after we had found a couch set we liked, and the entire time she assisted us, she showed delightful honesty and humor as a friend would. I have been waiting for a delivery of a purchase that I made on 5/19/2021 they told me that it would be 12 to 15 weeks and the weeks have already passed and I still do not receive the delivery

Just bought an incredible sectional sofa from Kinu. Our sales associate was Karen, she was absolutely amazing! She was personable, helpful, and professional! This was the first furniture place we looked, we looked at other places as well afterwards, but ended up coming back for the couch and fabulous service! They all recognized us as we came back and helped us out immediately! Everyone was so friendly and professional. The music in the store was also great! Such a fabulous experience. Highly recommend!
Item came damaged, offered $30 off of a $300 item. The damage is splintering and can get caught on hands and lead to injury. They will not replace and their second offer was $40 off. Worst service ever. Do not recommend.
Worked with Ky and Lavrelle who were both great in giving me space to see what I liked and being there when I had questions. The manager Tracey was great too, made accommodations for my delivery needs without any problems! The furniture is all quality as well. I have been to a lot of other stores in the area and either asking for similar prices with less quality or just not in the average consumer wheelhouse.

When we were picking out our new furniture everything was great everyone was helpful. when it came time to delivering the furniture the delivery team knocked picture frames off the walls damaged the drywall and front door of my home. we suggested to come into a different door before they tried any doors. delivery people know best...... :( kind of disappointed because its been almost 3 weeks now and still no one has contacted me about repairing the home. getting the run around from everyone I talk to I guess a law suit is in the works to have the damage to my house get repaired. so sad that nothing has been done. UPDATE! I gave photos for the damage to my house. we're going on over a year now. agreed payment to replace damaged items and walls in my house have yet to be resolved. please look elsewhere for Funiture.
The experience in the store was fine. They were having a big sale so it was busy and had to wait at points for people to help us, that's not the issue. The issue was delivery. We had a delivery window of 9am-1pm, no one came. At 245pm customer service called and told us they were running behind and it would be 3 hours from our delivery window. At 4pm, no one came. At 430pm customer service called again and told us it'll be there by 5pm. 5pm came and went and I called at 530pm and they said they would be there at 545pm. This time they did show up at 545pm after wasting my entire day. When I called to get my delivery charge back they told me that they always tell people delivery windows are estimated and they always tell people to clear the whole day so they were unable to givee it back. Problem is they never told me to clear my whole day. So needless to say we're not going back there ever and I encourage you to shop at Ashley's only of you want to waste your entire day waiting for your stuff to arrive.

Paid in full for a sectional and was told it would be 12-15+ weeks due to distribution issues. 18 weeks later it was delivered severely broken. It’s now been two more weeks and only update I got was from me calling them and the response was “most likely next month”. I’m just glad I didn’t get rid of my old couches right away or else I’d have nothing to sit on. If you don’t call them you never get updates and even when you call there is never a straight answer and they haven’t offered any discount for all of this. Just don’t buy from them.
Purchased a reclining lift chair for my mom, specifically asked salesperson - will this be comfortable for a larger person, he assured us it was. Well delivery day came, the chair was MUCH smaller than expected! Delivery man said we had 30 days to decide if it was good, NOT TRUE. Then spoke to 'manager' who said shed call us back and we had 3 days to decide, she didnt get back to us. Then told us salesperson quit that morning so I couldnt speak to him. Another lady from delivery called us and said we had 1 day to decide if we were going to keep it. Stories were not consistent! Wont buy there again!
Never in my life again. All the rumors are true. They do not back their warranty. Furniture I have came from Vietnam. I live 30 minutes from a one of their manufacturing buildings. So much for being American made. It's been 4 months since we filed our manufacturers warranty claim and we just finally had a technician come out to look at it. He was here 10 minutes and left. Now we have to wait for Ashley again. They will lie, pass the problem around amongst the different departments, and flat refuse to do anything. The stores supposedly have no control over anything, yet that's where you have to start. 4 months, about 20 + hours on the phone, lied to by everyone and a trip to the store for a face to face, only to find out that the store staff was lying on the phone. Now we have to wait to have Ashley decide if they are going to repair it or replace it. Thats probably going to take another 4 months. And guess who you have to deal with for any extended warranty? The same people. My family member bought furniture from Raymore and Flanagan. They were out in a week to repair her bed. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. DONT DO IT! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
The Sales Associate, Jacob, was very helpful as I was looking for a new bed. He was knowledgeable of the products, and eager to make the process as smooth as possible. I would recommend this store to anyone. Tracy, the customer service representative was also a huge help in assisting me with the purchase.
We purchased bedroom furniture sets in early May and by mid-June one of the drawers came off of the hinges. We emailed them on June 30 and we sent them pictures like they asked and they stated we would hear back in 7-10 business days. It's August 2 and still haven't heard anything from them about fixing the issue. The Lancaster store will not answer phone calls during business hours...there's no voicemail or anything, just keeps ringing and ringing...I will never purchase anything from Ashley again.

We had a wonderful experience purchasing furniture for our new home. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Jacob, our sales associate, made shopping enjoyable because he was knowledgeable, patient and honest. Chris, the store manager, was very understanding and accommodating with our unusual delivery situation. Kina, the customer service person, was very thorough explaining the invoice and payment options and answering questions. We are thrilled with our selections and feel we got the most competitive prices on everything we purchase compared to several other stores we visited before purchasing from Ashley.
Our experience sucked. We ordered a couch on Feb. 21. Paid cash. Was told there would be a 15 wk delay because of covid. We are over 20 wks out now. Cannot get in touch via phone today with anyone. Nobody answers. Keep getting runaround when we do get in touch touch
Gary greeted me and helped me nail down the mattress I am looking for. I won't be living here when I buy it because we're moving, but I'll be ordering a mattress from Ashley because of his good customer relations and knowledge of Ashley mattresses.

Poor service. At the original time of purchase everything seemed great. Told us when the sofa and loveseat would be delivered. The day before and day of delivery calls and text messages were received and confirmed delivery. Then a call notifying that there was a vehicle problem and the delivery would be the next day. The next day we get a call and they advise the delivery won’t be until the weekend. Call and ask for help. Only get sorry you’re not from our area. VERY POOR customer service. Saturday arrives. They deliver only to find the loveseat is broken. Call and advise the store where we purchased the item. Well it could be until next week that the broken item will get back to the warehouse. Then I was advised it could be somewhere in late August when we MIGHT get a replacement. How do you stay in business. Poor poor service!

Whenever you have to make major financial investments you desire the help from experienced professionals. I was blessed to walk in and find that in my sales associate, Jacob. He was thorough and patient as I provided dimensions of room I needed furniture. In addition, I came in the second visit with the exact dimensions and he refit what I needed with no question. He never displayed frustration or bad hospitality. He was kind, hospitable, and fun! I would return to him in a second if I ever need furniture again. He should train, the many people who currently work in positions like this in all stores, on the value of customer service! To complete the sale I was helped by customer service representative, Becky. She was not as dynamic as Jacob but she had a quiet and friendly demeanor. She patiently checked me out and explained my next steps. I definitely would return here and something positive I learned, their product is made in the USA! A perfect conclusion to a July 4th sale!

What has happened to Ashley? Ashley has always carried furniture of all quality, now the majority of their furniture is on the low end. It looks pretty but not a good quality. Some of the furniture I would rate mid level but most of the furniture in the Lancaster, PA is, well simply put, cheap. I applied for an Ashley credit card on line before visiting the store, I highly doubt that I will ever use it.
Ordered sofa and loveseat sectional back in December and was told it would be 12-15 weeks at the longest for delivery but salespeople told me it usually takes less than that around 6-8 weeks well it wound up taking 25 weeks to arrive and we had just moved into a new place and had no furniture for 6 months and evertime we called for status update they lied and just kept lieing. I finally got to speak with one of there managers named loraline and was told that I would not be able to get any kind of reimbursement for the $300 shipping fee since it was rediculously late and was told that I can't/won't be reimbursed for anything and they blamed covid-19 for there lack of communication and shipping delays. It's complete BS in addition I found this same set for cheaper and probably would have arrived months ago. There customer service is a joke and I will never recommend them or shop there again this level of total disregard for customer service is unacceptable.
Worst experience ever!!! Ordered and of course paid 100% up front. Was totally cool with waiting due to COVID delays Was not cool with the rude manager of the store treating me like a problem. the delivery delayed and rescheduled twice and only because we called them they didn’t bother to notify us. Finally after MONTHS get part of what we ordered and it’s damaged. Months later guy shows up to finally repair it and WOW should you see this. Worse than before the repair!!!! Exhaust every option before you go here.

I would give this store a zero star if possible. The delivery dates for items ordered is ridiculous. I was called and arranged for my items to be delivered. Cleared out the room to prepare for delivery the following day then was called several hours later and they cancelled "due to not having drivers", What? I then called the store and was told that if I cancelled my order I would be charged 10%. If I can't receive my items then allow for the customer to get their money back in full.
Be prepared to waste your whole day waiting for them to arrive. Initially said 10 to 2 and called at 11 to tell me 4 to 8. Couldnt reschedule either. Love wasting my days waiting for furniture.

Purchased an outdoor four-piece patio set here on 5/16/2021 and drove to Philadelphia to pick it up to save on delivery fee. The same set was listed on the Ashley website on 5/28/2021 for $167.01 cheaper but this store refused to do a price adjustment (two weeks later). I could've had it delivered for less than the "military discounted" final price I paid to pick it up 120 miles away. General manager did not offer any sort of resolution due to her apparent disregard for my future business. I highly recommend shopping from the website which offers better deals and price protection. This franchisee is greedy and does not care about the community it serves. Buyer beware.

Good quality furniture at a reasonable price. Everyone was very friendly and attentive without being pushy. Our sales associate, Carl, was very knowledgeable and gave us a great deal. Our customer service rep, Kinu, explained everything we needed to know about store and delivery policies.
If I could give a negative star I would. I got a text alert that I was getting my delivery between 11 and 3. So I stayed home all Saturday waiting. At 3:10 I called and asked where they were and they told me that they called the day before to cancel; however they didn’t leave a message, try calling back, or an email. I will never recommend this place or ever use this again.
Hands down best furniture store out there. Every one from the greater to the manager to customer service and even the sales associates were great no one was pushy or quick to try and up sale you like other furniture stores.every one there gave you your space and were very helpful when I was ready for help and helped find exactly what I was looking for in my price range. So a special thank you to Tracy, trinity, Jacob, and all the other associates and representatives there. I will definitely be returning to this Ashley's for my next furniture purchase.

Customer service is absolutely awful. Waited six+ months to have a bed set and sectional/ottoman delivered. Cancelled first delivery the day before because bed set was damaged. Threatened to charge me a delivery charge to reschedule. Ottoman missing inside cushion, so after 1 week ottoman completely sunken in. Waiting another 6-8+ weeks for them to order replacement cushion. Wear house, Service department, and store all give different information and completely lack professionalism. Zero compensation offered for all the hassle, miscommunication, and missing parts!

Jacob was my sales person i was only looking for a pillow and end up getting a pillow and mattress cool tech protector. he helped me pick the right pillow for my comfort and made sure it wasn't going to put a lot of pressure on my neck when i sleep on my side. trinity was my csr and she explained everything to me at check out and was very sweet. over all wonderful service in sales and at the end.
Ordered a sectional on 31Oct2020 and was told delivery would be 12-15 weeks. That would have been fine; HOWEVER, we STILL have not received our sectional. Additionally, they stopped sending me updates on our $2000+ purchase in January. I sent two emails in February that still don’t have a response. I did call and was told they are changing warehouses so they couldn’t provide an update on my purchase at the moment and told me I could call back the following week for an update. Beyond disappointed with the customer service post purchase from this business. Wish I could also write a review of the product purchased, BUT we still don’t have it...
Save your money purchased a recliner said it was in stock was to be delivered but they cancelled twice so far blaming it on there truck has broken down twice now mind you any other company would have rented a truck to get the delivery read their contract carefully you can't cancel or you loose the delivery fee and only get store credit why in the world would I want to deal with the worthless company again!!!!!!
I don’t recommend. Our couch broke. The extra warranty is a scam. I sent a claim and never heard back and no one answered the phone. Now we are stuck with a broken couch with a brick underneath holding it up.
I would rate zero Stars if possible completely infuriating experience with this company. Ordered a couch and an ottoman. incorrect ottoman was delivered but my wife signed for it because nobody at the store would pick up the phone. when we finally got a hold of somebody a day later they said they were too busy. we had already paid for it and didn't want them taking it knowing we wouldn't get our money back. When we finally get a hold of them they say we have to pay $90 to return something that was their mistake. So now we're out over $350 for an ottoman and have to pay an extra 90 because they sent the wrong one. They were absolutely unapologetic and offered zero help didn't even care that it was their fault they messed up the order accepted no responsibility said it was the warehouse's fault but wouldn't give us a number to contact the warehouse. The excuse they gave us was that the guy she ordered from was new and didn't know that the ottoman she wanted wasn't even available so he ordered the incorrect one. Spent almost $3,000 at the store and their unwilling to rectify their mistake because it was signed for. So our option was we signed for it and kept the wrong one or we don't sign for it and they take it back but we already paid for it and would be out the money anyways. Horrible customer service. I've never in my life had an interaction with a company where they made a mistake and refused to make it right in fact wanted to charge me for their mistake....
Star was the sale associate and she was great and patient and sufficient and even accommodated my little one. She was kind and I was very pleased wit her service and Kinu the customer service representative was also awesome and made sure we were happy and I love how they made us comfortable and willing to spend my money there! Star was definitely a treat to have and thank u Kinu for all u did as well to seal the deal!! I think they deserve raises, recommendations , bonuses and more !! Beautiful and polite ladies!

Ordered a 3,500 dollar bedroom set from Ashley Furniture. On the day of it being dropped off the installers damaged the head of the bed and cracked the wood. I found this later and was not told about the damage from the installers. Had some minor damage to the paint on the dresser and bed which was repaired on one day. On another day they were supposed to bring the replacement parts for the cracked wood. The installers did not have the right tools and had to use my tools. They also did not bring the right parts and were not able to fix any of the cracked wood. Once they left I found that they causes additional damage to the bed set. Only positive I can give is Ashley Furniture support was kind even when I was unhinged. Said they will make the issues right by sending out more repairmen. At this point I wish I could get my money back and will never buy anything from Ashley again.
Ordered 2 couches and dining chairs on 11/28. Original contract said 8-12 weeks delivery. - I got a call on 2/10 and they left a voicemail saying to schedule delivery. I tried calling back but the phone just rings and rings. Got a call on 2/16 from salesman saying to call and schedule delivery. - Tried calling for the next 3 weeks. Can't get anyone to pick up the damn phone. Finally got ahold of someone Friday 2/26. They informed me I couldn't schedule delivery because the system was "locked out" and they can't do it. Said it should be resolved later in the day and they would call me back. Never did. - Finally got ahold of someone on 2/28 and got the "real story" that on 2/14 they switched warehouses to a new one 50 miles away because the old one "didn't deliver fast enough". The said it should be there by 3/1. - Finally got ahold of someone on 3/3. The furniture is still "in transit" and they couldn't explain why it's taking 3 weeks to move my furniture 50 miles. Still won't schedule a delivery and won't give me a date in which it's in. It's now 14.5 weeks in an I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone since. BE VERY WARY of delivery times.
Greatest customer service I have ever gotten in a store. My sales rep Starr is incredibly nice and knowledgeable about all the furniture in the store as are Liz and the other amazing sales rep, Store Manager Tracy is super fun and full of energy, always ready to help or answer a question, to say that they all go the extra mile is almost unfair to them, all the employees play with my daughter and treat her like one of their own which is really refreshing and fun, I love the family atmosphere, great furniture selection incredible build quality on all of their pieces, I ordered a TV stand, bed and bedroom set for my daughter and every other purchase I make will be done at Ashley's and I hope yours will be 2. More than 5 stars.

We don't shop for furniture often and I REALLY REALLY don't do salespeople. When we went in, we met Abe and he definitely felt very non-salesman. He listened to what we were looking for and promptly showed us to the mattresses - which is what we were looking for. Abe knew pretty much everything about everything and what was refreshing is when he didn't know - he went to find out. We are the type of people who ask a LOT of questions and he definitely put some miles on his shoes to talk to Tracy, the manager. Overall, a great experience and they were very patient with us going back and forth between two different brands as well as being very accommodating when asking about pricing and options for things like adjustable bases and the like. Ultimately we bought because we were able to do our own process and liked what we saw in the products. There was no high pressure, and I'm convinced we're getting the quality that we went in looking for. I'm sure time will tell if our first impressions are right, but if we're going to sleep well on this new mattress in 6 to 8 weeks, there won't be any reason to update this review. Great experience!
I've seen similar reviews on delayed delivery of furniture. I ordered a 2-piece sectional for my home in September 2020 that I had just moved into and have gotten numerous calls for delivery pushback. We were supposed to get the couch 02/23/2021 and received yet another call saying April 15. I am so frustrated with Ashley and have tried calling support but have been bounced around to numerous people, including one person that does not even serve my area and suggested I call corporate. I figured I would give them one last chance and they blew it. Never again will I try Ashley, the wait has been simply ridiculous and I'm tired of sitting on a floor and having a makeshift seating arrangement since September 2020.
Wonderful experience at this store. As soon as we walked in Alivia greeted us and was immediately answering all the questions we had (which was many). She devoted her time and was very courteous and patient with us as we took hours looking for the perfect fit for our home. Checking out was also fantastic, Tracy and Kinu were fast and efficient. They were all so friendly and would go back in a heartbeat!

It took 6 months until we received our furniture.
Ordered some items from this store that I was going to pick up once they came in. We purchased them on January 25th. I waited until February 28th and finally called since I hadn't heard anything. They said the items had been marked as already picked up. I asked about having it delivered now that it had been so long. They said they would get back to me. I called today, 3 days later, because they still have not responded. They had no answer and I am still waiting on a resolution. Update: once we finally got the product, after some use it was clear it was cheaply made. The hinges on the coffee table broke and gouged out the side panels. We got the protection plan and I have been trying for 4 months to get it repaired and am barely any closer than day one. Avoid Ashley furniture if you have the option.
Run far and run fast away from here. Ordered a sofa and recliner in September, they initially said December delivery. No calls and then in December, they said February delivery. No follow up calls and every time I tried to call there was no answer. Stopped at the store today and a list of excuses. I cancelled the order and got a full refund. I'll never enter an Ashley store again.

HORRIBLE QUALITY!! I bought a couch 2 months ago, which was by no means cheap...but I wrongly assumed that it would be great quality and was willing to pay a little more. After 2 months, there are already 2 tears in the back of the couch. This is absolutely unacceptable for a brand new couch. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!!
We ordered our couch in October. We went to the store in Lancaster and at first we were greeted and helped then after a few min we were ignored like we were invisible the manager said if you need anything let me know. When we were ready to buy we approached the manager and she acted like she didn’t have the time to talk to us. Even though she wasn’t doing anything. We sat on the couch for about an hour until someone decided to help. After a very lengthy wait we ordered the couch we wanted. They said it could take up to 12 weeks for it to be delivered and we agreed we should of received our couch the end of December early January we were told there has been a delay and might be as late as February 1st. we were frusterated but also understood. We called today Jan 24 and were told it will be delivered early March. And we said that is unacceptable we have waited long enough and the lady on the phone had the audacity to laugh at us. If anyone is looking to buy a couch please, please ,please do not go to Ashley’s they are very unprofessional and have no sense of urgency.
Friendly staff! I needed a new bedroom set and was helped by a sales associate named Star with lots of energy but very honest which is much appreciated.
I sold my house my deceased husband built after living there for 65 years. This was a very emotional process. On Sept.6, 2020 my daughter helped me shop for new furniture for my new apartment. I placed an order with Ashley Furniture in Lancaster,PA for a sofa and 2 kitchen bar stools and paid in full $1346.20 including delivery on my VISA card. I was promised delivery by Nov.6, 2020 when I planned to move into my new apartment. My daughter called on Nov.6th, and was told delivery was delayed until Jan.19th for the stools; Feb.6, 2021 for the sofa, and they would keep updated every two weeks via email on status. No updates ever received and called numerous times to get updates. Called on Jan.13, 2021 for update and told delivery date now March 20, 2021. Called the store today, Jan.14, 2021 and told I need to come into the store in person to cancel and process the refund. Given my age (88), health issues, and COVID situation I’m unwilling to do this. So I submitted a request for refund though the Ashley Furniture Customer Facebook Group and informed my Credit card company to dispute this charge.
Salespeople didn't pester us. Allowed plenty of browsing time. Lotsa variety.

Do not order from Ashley furniture. I ordered a chair in September of 2020 and it has still not been delivered to me. I was told by the store there are no discounts for my inconvenience. I have been now been pushed out to 2/2021 with no guarantees my chair will be delivered. They have had my money since 9/4/20. I will never buy anything from Ashley furniture again.
This was my first visit to this location. Star, Liz, Alivia, Tracy, and Becky were superb. They were all very friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Finding good customer service isn't easy. This was an all star team. If you all are reading this, thank you for all your help. We will be back!
My wife and I went in last week just to look around. The prices are very appealing, but we needed to go back home and measure a few things. Liz helped us that day and she answered our questions at the time and there was no pressure to buy at all. We came in the next day knowing exactly what we wanted. We were greeted by Carl this time who was an extreme pleasure to work with. He sat us down and went through our exact order piece by piece, explained pricing options, then brought us over to Becky at Customer Service (who was also very pleasant). We purchased our furniture within 30 minutes of walking in the store the 2nd day. Compared to some other homestores (one of which is no longer in the area), the entire Ashley Homestore experience was surprisingly refreshing when it came to buying. No pressure, the people honestly just want to help, and the music they have in the store is also pretty dope. I’ll make sure to update my review after i get my furniture (16 weeks due to covid) to let everyone know how it went.
Will never shop with Ashley’s again... I ordered two bedroom sets in September and have been told they would arrive the following month since September with nothing ever arriving. You call the store and all they do is apologize and blame Co-Vid. How can you possibly continue to sell without being able to fulfill orders. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Very disappointed since this is a new store to the area.
Whatever you do, DO NOT use Carl as your representative. He has ordered food delivery multiple times and NEVER tips. He says "He doesn't do tips". Well Carl, I'm sure you work on commission so karma will come back to bite you. If you are going to buy furniture here, make sure it is NOT from Carl. 😊
Buyers beware! They are taking the money for the merchandise purchased and are not keeping true to what agreed on for delivery date. Ordered back in Sept with delivery estimated for Nov. now we are in December and no one can give an exact date of delivery. Absolutely the worst experience ever.
I placed an order for a sectional couch back in 09/05. On that date I was told by the sales representative that they did not have what I wanted but I could order it. I asked how long the couches would take to arrive and I was told 8-10 weeks due to demand and shortage. I asked her again because I planned to have these couches no later than December of this year. She told me that I would not need to worry, that I should have them by no later than the Friday of Thanksgivings. I agreed and paid up $1,144 upfront, no store financing of any sort. I called the week before thanksgiving and an associate told me there’s been a delay and that a shipment of products would arrive by December 3rd and I should have an ETA of the end of the 2nd week of December. I became angry but simply stool their word for it and decided to wait beyond my original time frame that they had told me. I called today just to see how things were going, excited that soon my family and I would have new couches. I instead get that same associate and he/she tells me that my order now may arrive by December 22 and or maybe by January 2021?? I never got a call for an update, no apology for my inconvenience, no empathy, just a “take what your told and shut up” type of service. I have now waited 13 weeks for couches that I already paid for and I am being mislead with an ETA week after week. By December 22, that will be 16 Weeks folks, 4 months of possible waiting; and that doesn’t include that it may go into January of 2021!! That would be 5 months. Never, have I ever heard of a store making their customers wait this long for a product they’ve le paid for. This store is not performing their end of their contract, which is to deliver a product for which the consumer us paid for. The sales contract printed laughably says to wait 5-6 weeks from the date of purchase; the customer service is mediocre and they’re stuck repeating the same song to everyone going through the same thing, and no one dares to call you of a delay or even offer a real explanation. And don’t you dare try to cancel your order or they’ll try to keep 10% for nothing despite the fact they e breached their own eta twice. Ashley’s homes store in Lancaster is engaging in unfair and deceptive practices and I do not plan on leaving it this way. Their corporate customer service number shoves you right back to the store, because if you don’t order online then it’s not their problem. Each store is individually owned so there goes your chance of seeing this store having any real sense of accountability from a business perspective. Ashley’s Home Store has failed me. I had high expectations and no one has offered a remedy other than “please wait more time”. I am highly disappointed and feel this excessive wait time is unjustified and request immediate remediation.
BAD ADVERTISING: Went to Ashleys after seeing this sign. 65% off plus 60 months interest free. Found a great set of furniture. The sales person gave us the 65% off and said we would get 60 months interest free. It was going to be a $6,500 purchase. Got to the sales desk and the manager finalized our sale. We asked for the 60 month interest free financing. She said the sale would be $9,700 with the 60 month interest free. WHAT? 🤔 How did we go from $6,500 to $9,700? What happen to 65% off plus 60 months interest free? Then the manager told us it is either 65% off OR 60 months interest free. Take a closure look at the 60 ... the very small print above the 60 ... "up to". Ashley's advertising is so misleading, even our sales person said she was confussed and other sales people thought it was misleading.
Great experience all around. Came on Black Friday and was not disappointed. Worked with Carl and he was awesome...professional, knowledgeable, friendly and a straight shooter. Got a beautiful sectional at a good price. Will definitely be coming back next time I need a piece! 👍🏻👍🏻
Worst, WORST Customer service I have EVER dealt with in my life. Will never step foot in there again and certainly will not buy anything from them again. Good luck getting something delivered let alone speaking to a manager. Not gonna happen. Terrible. If they say they will call you they won’t. Impossible to get anyone to answer a phone too.

While searching for sofas I checked out their inventory. Little pricey compared to others I thought but I entered myself into a ring of emails. My inbox was crammed full everyday. I finally just hit “unsubscribe” because it is email overload.
I ordered beds for my 2 boys both back in July. Two separate orders because the one was out of stock until 10 days later... now both orders have been pushed with delivery dates multiple times. Why do they keep selling items they cannot fulfill on time! My boys have no beds! When you call customer service they can be rude and will walk all over you if you don’t fight for yourself. Nice furniture, absolutely awful customer service. Called the store and delivery place probably 12 times each over the past few weeks to reschedule delivery on our table and chairs because we're having flooring installed (they were aware we were planning to do that) and finally went in person so they couldn't avoid me, just to hear them say too bad. Gonna be sticking my new furniture in the dirty garage for a week. Thanks guys, going to furniture to go for now on.
I tried to reschedule a delivery and could not get ahold of them. I called ATLEAST a dozen times over the course of 4 days and the phone just rings and rings. Terrible customer service- even the 1800 number couldn’t get through to the store.
First I would like to state this place is has terrible customer service, I had to pay 40$ just to talk with a person which lied to me about delivery date, I was told I have to wait 3 months to get my bedroom after paying for it. The girl was trying to help is clueless about anything for example delivery date, payment plan I basically had to pay for absolutely nothing. I’m still wondering why you guys are selling bedrooms that aren’t even made yet. I went today and had to cancel contract that I made yesterday before they informed any of the important information.

First and last time I will buy anything here! Customer service is non-existent. Called the day I received my furniture, called about exchanging an item was told I could but they would pickup the item and delivery another one later. Then went to the store said they could just delivery and exchange at the same time. After talking to the manager, who they had to call on the phone, they cant exchange because of "the virus". I got 3 different explanations and they could not show me on the paperwork where it says I cant exchange it or get a credit for it. It states on the paperwork that you can get a store credit but no cash refund. Does not seem like employees are trained properly with correct information, even their sales manager. My suggestion, find another store that stands by their policies and appreciates their customers!

We stopped here to see what was available in terms of couches. They do have plenty of selection and when we went there seem to be a lot of sales, however, I see that their sales look good on the outside, however, they also like to play games and raise the price is significantly to make it look like you're actually getting a good buy. Regardless, the person that we did speak to was very nice and seemed knowledgeable about the products she was selling so I can't fault them for that.

Great experience. Wife and I had completely different ideas on what furniture we wanted and some how walked out both thinking we got our way haha. Star our sales person was a delight to work with and the manager Bob Was extremely friendly and courteous. Shopping with a 3 year old is never easy they helped a lot with balloons and just overall kindness.

My husband and I decided it was time to get furniture we could enjoy and be comfortable so we decided to go to the Ashley store in Lancaster. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got the extended coverage and were satisfied customers. Then the pandemic came about we were told they would be closing the store but we would still have our furniture delivered. Our furniture did come and the delivery people were wonderful. After I month of having the furniture it started becoming disformed. As soon as the store opened and we could we went to the Ashley store to let them know our dilemma. It's been three weeks and we finally decided to go back in the store and find out what was going on. We wanted to exchange the furniture for a different style do to the problem and were told we could not do that and we couldn't return the furniture. We were willing to pay any difference BUT could not do any of the above so now we're stuck paying and using furniture we don't or can't enjoy...but they will send a repair man out to try and fix our furniture. Hope he enjoys coming to Columbia on a regular basis
Beautiful "everything"!! ASK FOR "JENNY"! She is the best interior decorator, hands down! She is awesome & does not "pressure" you what whatsoever! Honest, friendly, definitely will steer you in the right direction. There are so many critical reviews of Ashley's, I've had nothing but a very positive experience!
We came to Ashley to find new couches and were greeted at the door by Jennifer. We told her what we were looking for and she told us where we could look and she let us find our way to what we wanted. When she noticed we were narrowing down choices she came to help us decide. Jennifer was amazing and connected with us immediately, she was able to help us make a decision. She was not pushy and was so helpful, there is not enough good things that we can say about her and her personality.

TERRIBLE experience. I try to be fair in all matters; however a 1 star is fair! From the unprofessionalism by the Store manager and Sales manager who were rude to our sales person, to just the entire experience, I'll never be back. The sales Manager Bob talked down to our sales person in front of us a few times. When I asked him to stop he said thats how he kids around with the staff. You could clearly see our sales person was upset and for no reason. She was amazing - but she isn't there anymore - Good for her! He told her she wasn't smart and told us how he always needs to read over her stuff to make sure its right because she makes a ton of mistakes. Then we had to deal with Tracy, who shows NO professionalism. We got the run around as we needed to move our order due to our construction being pushed back a few months. We were told we couldn't cancel or we would have to pay a large percentage, but if the furniture stopped being made we would need to make other choices. We kept getting calls that a portion of our furniture was in when we told them up front before shopping we couldn't commit to anything until September or after. She couldn't wait to get outside and smoke. She actually was talking about other customers while we were there stating she can't take "irrate people" anymore and rolling her eyes. We finally were able to cancel our order without a fee because its the law! However, conveniently they lost our paperwork and we had to furnish them with our copies! Needless to say when our home is finished we will NOT being going to the Lancaster location. Don't waste your time!
Love this store and the store manager Tracy Wilmer is a gem. Went and got a great Memorial Day deal on a kitchen table and server. Despite being busy Tracy was able to get my transaction done quickly. Will be shopping with them again in the future!

We were in search of a reclining sofa and loveseat set. Ended up getting that, plus a coffee table and end tables. We really like it! Leandra and the rest of the staff in there were very friendly and helpful. Even our almost 1 year old got lots of attention, which was very impressive! Thank you staff at Ashley’s Lancaster!!!
Clean store. sales associate seemed to be very pushy into making her commission. Not quite sure she knew what she was doing. She had to go ask her manager to make sure she was telling us right when we asked questions. Example is for the no interest financing. which was stated when we got the card. but she had to go check to make sure we would qualify for that promotion. then they had to call us to confirm the size of the tv stand we wanted because she never documented that. just like it was delayed because they said the wrong forepaw insert was ordered. It was ordered on feb 8th and we finally got it yesterday

My husband and I were greeted by Carl who has such a sweet disposition and was extremely helpful (and patient)! My husband is the Associate Director of The Potters House Ministry, Lancaster. We are moving into the directors house of the ministry, and wanted to purchase some new furniture as ours has seen its day. With that, we had a budget we wanted to stay within. Carl heard our need, going above and beyond to accomodate, we left feeling valued, satisfied and like we have a new addition to our family!!! We are REALLY looking forward to getting all this BEAUTIFUL furniture into our home. We HIGHLY reccommend Ashley Furniture for the many options they offer as well as quality in both their furniture AND employees!!!

What an experience. We had Jenny as a sales rep and all I can say is "WOW". Not only is she a great sales rep but she was great with our son. Friendly, awesome personality and full of knowledge of the items. Girl knows her stuff. We had Biannca as our finance rep what a team they were. We were just looking around for a couch and chair that we liked, knowing we couldn't purchase till after taxes came in. It happened to be President's day, so of course there was a huge sale. Jenny was very patient, gave us lots of space to look around without feeling pressured, and super helpful explaining that by financing with Snap, we could still get the sale price and not owe anything till after we knew taxes would be in. We couldn't pass it up, and she even got us a great deal on a tv stand as well. I didnt want to post till after delivery, because anything could happen. Delivery was today, right on time. The gentlemen delivering were very friendly and super quick. The tv stand is missing some shelves, but they called the company for me, and they will be arriving right to my door. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience and purchase from Ashley. My living room looks great now!
Elsie assisted us as we were looking at bedroom furniture. She was very pleasant in helping us and giving us individual prices on each item. We would look for her again when we go back to buy a kitchen table and chairs. Then Alesha helped us at the customer service desk to finalize the paper work and when to expect a call, which we got within an hour of leaving the store. We will have our furniture in exactly 2 weeks!

I stopped in today looking for a dining room table. The sales associate Star helped me find what i was looking for . She was very helpfull in the style i was looking for. After that i also purchased a new mattress .The store manager also told me about the different mattresses they had . We got set the customer service representative Bianca took care of the paper work and also the delivery details.
They had a great sale on all furniture and sets. Robin was very helpful and worked with our budget to help us find something that is of good quality. She was very friendly and did not make us feel pressured to buy anything, My boyfriend is a former service member and she informed us that we would receive a 10% discount for that!

I have mixed feelings about this company. The sales people are knowledgeable & pleasant enough. But I’ve bought furniture twice now and both times the wrong skew number was entered so the price sheet showed the wrong items. Luckily I carefully read the sheet and caught it. Just make sure to read the sheet before you pay. Another disappointing thing as others have mentioned is that if the furniture doesn’t fit, or is the wrong color, the company charges 30% restocking fee (even if it’s in stock) unless you buy something else, and then you still have to pay another delivery fee. Don’t sign for anything or you are stuck with it. Also, checking out takes forEVER!!! - even if paying cash or credit. I’ve found some of the the same items on line at Wayfair for less, but what I have bought here is nice, so I guess I’d go back. Shout out to Bianca who is helpful and very professional.
Was given a price signed a sales receipt went to pay for it when the sales person came back to us and said she gave us the wrong price. I felt they should of honored what was given to us. We were going to go back for furniture won't be going back.
We had a good experience at Ashley buying our new bedroom set. The prices were generally lower than other places we looked. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We had Jenny as our salesperson and she was great! Definitely would recommend this place.

My husband and I haven’t had new furniture in 12 years so we decided to go to Ashley furniture, and it was the best decision we ever made about furniture...They were so kind to us there and made us feel at home immediately!!! Star and Robert did everything possible to get us the furniture that we fell in love with and I could not thank them enough for going out of their way, Then while at the checkout the customer service representative named Becky was so awesome and helpful and I just can’t say enough about this place!!! We will definitely be making future purchases here and letting other people know to stop in and ask for them!!!!
I had a great experience here. I was approached by Star asking what I was looking for exactly. She showed me to the area of the sectional couches and let me look around and sit and feel the quality on my own as she tended to other customers. But she would make time to stop back every couple of minutes to check on me and see if I had any questions. Star was a big help in finding the right sectional that would fit in the area we needed to place it in. I will be sure to come back and ask for Star the next time I am in need of any furnature or decore orientent items for my home. Thank you Star for your help.
Very enthusiastic sales reps.very supportive of each other. They have to undergo more training in their knowledge of what they are selling. Some questions about our purchase not quite clear But they really are caring and helpful. I give them a 10! Personality goes a long way. You have a very great start with this team!

We bought a Sofa, Bed and King Mattress from Ashley. Laurie helped us with the sale and was great. A week before delivery, my wife and I realized the sofa wasn't going to fit where we wanted it. We went back to Ashley Furniture and Tracy helped us cancel the sofa (at no extra cost) and reschedule delivery. Furniture will be delivered this weekend. We are very excited!

Do NOT shop for accessories or bedding at Ashley Homestore Lancaster. When asked about comforter set and pillows amply displayed, the clerk offered to order them on line for us. We initially declined being avid on line shoppers, but she said she’s fast and could do it quickly for us, 20 minutes later, after moving to the sales counter, where a new employer told us they needed to register the sales force causing more delays.. This gave me time to go on line to Ashley Furniture on line to find the same comforter set for $100 less. When I asked why the price difference, we were rudely informed that Ashley Home is a franchise and NOT associated with Ashley Furniture, while still using their logo and being directed to their website when accessing Ashley Homestore’s website in Lancaster. I walked to the car in anger so as not to make a scene. My spouse completely the sale, even though they couldn’t even deliver to the store for pickup. Ashley has a huge challenge between their on line presence and their franchised Homestores. I’ll be sharing this story with hundreds of friends in line.
Took several weeks to decide on the right pieces for our unique space. Debbie was very patient and took her time with us. We thought the relationship, quality and price didnt warrant shopping around just for the lowest price. We have purchased here before and they have been good about everything. Thanks again Debbie and her Sales manager for a great experience.
We recently purchased a sectional and a bed while in the new Lancaster store. Our sales lady was very nice and great with my kids. Unfortunately it went down hill from there. I was told I would be called and they would set up a delivery. A week went by and I decided to call because I hadn't heard anything. They said they hadn't called me yet because they were busy. When our furniture pieces were delivered, two pieces of the sectional were damaged and the wrong bed was ordered. We sent the wrong bed back immediately but unfortunately we didn't notice the damage on the couch until the delivery guys left. When I called the store that same day, I was treated like it was my fault and no one bothered to apologize. I had to go into the store 24 hours later because I couldn't take care of the problem until the wrong bed was back in the system. When I came in, both of the managers were rude. Once again, treating me like I did something wrong. When we ordered the sectional, we were told it would clip together underneath so it didn't slide apart. This was completely untrue! It has no clips and is sliding everywhere! The whole situation is completely frustrating because we can't do anything about it at this point.

Robin is thee BEST sales person. She was very knowledgeable, fun and loving!! I was recently in a house fire and lost everything. Went to Ashley Home Store after doing a bunch of online shopping. After being shown several options, we ordered a queen sleeper sofa and rocker recliner on December 26, 2019. We were told to expect delivery in 2-6 weeks. Received a phone call on January 21, 2020 that our furniture had arrived, and to set up delivery. Unfortunately, we couldn't take delivery until today, February 1, 2020 due to our schedules. Received a call on January 28. 2020 to arrange delivery for February 1. Was told to expect them between 8am and 12 noon. Delivery arrived at 10:30am. Delivery men got right to work, got the furniture in with no damage. Inspected the furniture, no damage or tears in the fabric. Delivery men cleaned up, and were gone by 11:10am. Very happy with the entire process. Thank you Ashley Home Stores !!!!
The whole staff was amazing!! Amanda was great! They were so kind to my 5yo who was being silly. They made buying furniture fun instead of a choir. I will always go to then from now on! Thank you!!
Still waiting ... Ordered furniture a month ago, they tried to deliver half of the sectional I bought. Apparently even the delivery guy questioned this before leaving the warehouse so you would have thought they would have called and verified order but they did not. When the delivery guy got them on phone, all they did was pass blame as to whos fault the error was. I had to call and try and find out when my sectional would finally be delivered and no one has gotten back to me. I would have canceled my order long ago, but their fine print makes it so you would be paying almost as much to do so. Bottom line ... never ever again will I go to Ashley Furniture for anything and definently would NOT recommend. Horrible customer service in store and corporate level.

I stopped in today and unfortunately witnessed a number of salespeople treating another one of their employees horribly. After viewing the same treatment to the same employee by multiple salespeople, I immediately left. I will not spend $ at a company whose salespeople act like high school seniors toward their coworkers. Understand the company can’t be responsible for poor character, but they can be responsible for ensuring that the employee being treated poorly has a nontoxic work place.

So, I went to this store, in Lancaster PA. I bought an inexpensive couch, since I'm here temporarily. I paid cash. A day later I found a couch at Costco. So I tried to cancel the one at Ashley, since I still had over a week before delivery. They want 30% restocking fee, for a couch that's STILL STOCKED. I decide to keep the couch. They text me a day ahead to tell me a 4 HOUR window of arrival time. They won't knock on my neighbors door, they can't guarantee a text notification, 30 minutes ahead of time because I didn't give THEM a 3 DAY notice for the request. I take off work and miss a full day, to be there. They get there, the couch won't fit. Guess what? They have to take it back and if I don't BUY something else, I have to pay a restocking fee. Now, if I buy something else, it's gonna cost more because I bought the cheapest thing they had and if THAT doesn't fit, I STILL have to pay restocking fee and probably another $80 for delivery. And the restocking fee will cost more because its 30%. CORPORATE wouldn't even help me get out of it. HORRIBLE customer service and IF i go pick something else out, I'LL NEVER buy from them again. I am gonna have to think about this one. Update: after contacting corporate, they called me to tell me they would give me a full refund. In the end, I STILL paid for the delivery fee, of $80. A delivery that I requested to be cancelled.

I have to give a ONE star because there is no lower number. The worst ever customer service, premium delivery sucks. Deliver wrong sofa and damage my ceiling in my house. It's now 4 weeks and nobody calling or doing anything to fix there mistakes. We call several times, drive to the store twice with no results. No money and no sofa
