Delivery was to be white glove and they were to take away the trash. There was a screw up on their end and they just put the furniture in the house, still in the boxes and left. Horrible experience. I have called the store several times and still have not received a call back from the manager.

I am soooo disappointed in Ashley Furniture, I have been a big fan since 2008, love the selection, quality and pricing but the customer service after they get your money is lacking significantly. Today I was in Mechanicsburg for other business and I needed a mattress for a Murphy Bed, nothing extraordinary, just a plain Jane no memory foam mattress so I stopped in Ashley Outlet. I was also looking for a new dinette set. A lovely sales person assisted me, I purchased the mattress thinking I can take it home, ha! Nope, it MUST be delivered and of course there is a small $80ish delivery fee, got it no problem, I am in. So I pay and then I am told they will contact me today to schedule delivery, awesome 👌 Life is good, oh wait, the cheap mattress I purchased is on back order and it will be at least 12 days if not longer, seriously? That is longer than I have so I call Ashley to cancel the order and get a refund, this is where the fun really started. Ashley customer service cannot refund only the store you purchased from can refund so I call the store, got voice mail, seriously I got voice mail 3 times 🤣 The store called me back, I explained the situation and was then told by the person I was speaking to they heard the sales person tell me 2 to 3 weeks which was completely untrue but OK, moving on. If the sales person said that I missed it so let's cancel this order. Ya no, the person I was speaking with said they had to get corporate permission to cancel the order and I would have to come back in for them to process the refund because they already charged me and they dont keep credit cards on file, what the heck? I can get a refund over the phone from every business in the world except Ashley, they are making me drive 50 miles round trip for a refund. You have got to be kidding me! No more Ashley furnishings in my house, I am out! Perhaps Value City Furniture would like my business, their quality and prices are about equal and they are easier to work with. Update - Went in to get my refund and was met by the new manager, a lovely young woman who took care of the refund, apologized for me experience and said she hopes we give them a chance to make it up. This is the customer support I am used to from Ashley!!
