We worked with Shaq to find the perfect couch for our space! We had some limitations with sizing having a smaller space and Shaq went above and beyond to find exactly what we needed. He was patient with us and very thorough but also let us have some time to look around to make our decision. We highly recommend Shaq!

I have had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Ashley Furniture, specifically in regard as to delivery. My first delivery team left trash in my home and a razor blade on my sidewalk where small children walk to and from school. And yes, I know it was there blade as it was from a Purple mattress which was one of the items I had delivered. Now, I’m waiting for another 5 hours on a different day for delivery of a damaged item. The Corporate Customer Service manager named Wade has told me it’s my problem. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE AND USE THEIR DELIVERY SERVICE!

My husband and I have bought furniture for our home, and also bedroom furniture for our grandchildren, from Ashley Furniture for over 12 years. We’ve been very pleased with each furniture purchase and especially love shopping at the Mechanicsburg location! The store is so nice and clean with plenty of beautiful furniture to choose from and friendly and helpful store associates. Recently, we had the pleasure of meeting Ziha Duffie, Furniture Consultant, during a visit there. She greeted us with a beautiful smile and was very welcoming. We were looking for a lift chair for my elderly father that day to replace his current one and Ziha immediately showed us all of our options and answered some questions that we had. She informed us of the warranty and delivery information and in no time we made our decision. She made everything super easy and we really appreciated the opportunity to work with her. In the future, should we have any other furniture needs, we will definitely be going back to the Mechanicsburg store and will definitely ask for Ziha to assist us. She was very friendly, professional, so easy to talk to and we thank her for making our experience an enjoyable one!

Mom could have kept her antique table, but for the chairs. I was disappointed about the seam in the dining room table for the money she spent, which was well earned with her working at the CIA, and dad 30 years in the Army Corps of Engineers. Apparently I can't add the photo.
Sean worked with us over the course of an afternoon to find us a couch. He is really nice, prompt, and accommodating. He fielded my wife and my questions before and after the sale, which was also really appreciated. We went in after months of shopping around, and finally got what we were looking for!

The folks - Terry in Sales and Skyler in Management - have been great getting me outfitted with new furniture for the house. And, when the new mattress didn’t fit my needs, they worked hard to get my mattress exchanged for something that fit my needs perfectly. The furniture at Ashley is about what you expect - decent mid-grade quality that will generally wear well. Price to value is definitely there. Even better when you can catch a good sale.

Nice showroom. Nice sales staff. Delivery sucked. Steve dropped the coffee table, broke it, and tried to laugh it off. His co-worker was able to repair it. I attempted to call and complain and could get in touch with no one. Apparently, they contract out their delivery.

She was not pushy with the sale and listened to what we were looking for. When we found one we liked she gave us all the details to make our decision and we walked out making the purchase super happy with our decision and the service received!
Amanda gave us the wrong information and our furniture was not released on time even though our check was cashed and money withdrawn. When we tried to cancel the order no clear directions were given on how to cancel it or how to get our money back. One employee told us over the phone to drive 40 min to the store to handle the paperwork. When we got there he was gone and we were told they didn’t handle that at the store. If you buy from here get everything in writing and once you pay don’t change your mind. Customer service was awful! Corporate phone # goes straight to India. You can’t talk to anyone in the US.

Had a great experience shopping for new couches tonight! We were looking for good cheapish couches to get us through our current puppy stages. Peggy was our sales person, and she was super helpful and very personable! We were not planning on buying tonight, as we were just "looking", however, we just couldn't say no! Shannon helped us during check out and to set up our delivery. She was very pleasant, and was quick and efficient! Definitely will return for future needs!

Our salesperson the day we purchased was great. Our experience since then has been horrible! We bought an entire bedroom set and requested everything be delivered the same day since having a bed to sleep in is kind of important. I am 6 months pregnant by the way and my husband is a disabled combat vet. Ashley told us we had to remove all of the furniture from our bedroom before the delivery crew brought the new furniture in. Well they finally delivered it but THEY DIDNT BRING OUR MATTRESSES (2 xl twins to make a king)!!! When we called them they said they weren’t even sure if they were in stock and now they are saying it could be a week before they arrive. I hope they plan to pay my chiropractor bills for having to sleep on the couch. *EDIT* the manager on duty was very helpful in getting us a loaner mattress (albeit one that is stiff as a tile floor) HOWEVER we still do not have the actual mattress they purchased because they're in the wrong warehouse and their "system" has been "down" since the weekend of March 22nd! Apparently nothing can be done until it's fixed. It's unfathomable to me how they are continuing to do business if the system is down.

We really got ripped off on a couch we got. It wasn’t as nice as the one in the show room nor is it comfy like the one in the show room, it’s like a completely different couch, it’s extremely uncomfortable, we are not satisfied whatsoever. Wish we could get a refund but it’s been about two years now. Don’t get furniture here

I received a bedroom set from them. And the long dresser corner was smashed. I called the store immediately and the lady asked me to send pictures. I sent them Pictures immediately. She told me it had to be turned in for a claim which I did not understand since I bought a brand new dresser. It took them almost four weeks for someone to return my call. I called the store at the 2 week mark. I stopped in at the store at the three week mark no one really cared. The lady from The claims department was very rude. Acting like they were not responsible you get what you pay for. She said she had to review it to let me know if they were gonna cover it. She called me back in the same day and offered me $80 to keep it. I told her no to pick it up. They picked it up. To repair it. The delivery guy comes and wants to leave Its setting on my walkway does not want me to look at it and want to meet to sign the paper. He got aggravated that I would not sign his paper until I looked at it. I will never shop there again.

I meant to write this review weeks ago. We purchased our bedroom and kitchen furniture from this location. I cannot say enough about Brandi and the manager (I'm sorry I forgot her name). They are true professionals, and we were difficult customers. We couldn't align on livingroom furniture and we ordered and canceled several times. Not only did they refund us our money but they truly wanted us to be happy. Even if that meant they lost the sale. They were very helpful, kind and truly went out of their way to make sure we didn't buy what we didn't want. I highly recommend coming to this location. You will not feel forced into buying something and you are given space to browse. But when you need help, they go above and beyond! As for the furniture, we LOVE our purchases. Good quality and looks great in our home. Thank you to a wonderful team of people who work at this store!

I Made Internet order, (wanted to 'old school's) store pick up, but nope, dissapointed only internet.. dissapointing shipping, (a grab & throw box from fed-ex), (not packed well), cheap packing, dissapointed flawls in upholstery beading, see pictures, could have been nice product, But made cheap, shipped cheap, &... That is that.

Even though we checked various stores, we came back to Terry, as she was the most professional and attentive. Went here looking for a chair. Found a leather one I liked. Was marked at 890$. Oof. Just my luck, they were having a 25% off sale, so i could get the chair for around 667$. Still would have to pay 60-80$ for delivery though. Decided to punt on the decision. Went home and googled the model of chair- found it on Amazon for 649$ and with free delivery, or 20$ to deliver it to the room of your choice, and of course free no-hassle returns. So, Ashley furniture lies to its would-be customers by marking up their stuff in-store, and then pretending to give a big discount- in reality, this makes it so their purportedly discounted furniture prices are [almost] competitive with other places online (but Ashley's store prices are still more expensive, and they will also gouge you for delivery, and they don't allow any returns after 72 hours and even then they charge a 15% restocking fee). I will never buy anything from Ashley based on their deceptive and unethical sales practices.

Awful. Went in to look for a new bed. Walked around the store for 15 minutes without anyone approaching us to help. Walked past at least 4 workers, who apparently did not want to help. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment anytime soon. In addition, prices for the beds were not displayed well, leaving us to walk out.
It was great, Sean was fantastic and helped us find the right sofa and coffee table. Really worked with us and we will come back again.

The staff really has very little knowledge of the products like you would find from a more traditional sales person. These people are more akin to clerks that follow you around. They're ready to discuss Ashley process related questions, the depth on the products knowledge is not there.

Seemingly more pricey than some other nearby furniture stores, however, I perceived the quality of merchandise to be a little higher. We were fortunate enough to find a sofa in the outlet section, so it was at a lower price point than much of the other options in the store. Salesman was nice and not overly pushy...however, I think he completely fabricated a whole story about his "family" just to try and make the sale. He could've saved his effort for someone else bc we were buying the couch in spite of his tale. I can't say as the store offered anything better, or different, than any other furniture store...we just happened to find what we were looking for, at a reasonable price, before we found it somewhere else. I will reserve judgement on the couch itself until we have gotten it and experienced for a while. One drawback was that there was no option for pickup versus delivery...and there was a fee even though delivery was required. Also, delivery won't be for about a month.

The prices are cheaper online to include the delivery fee. They offer a discount, but only on the marked-up prices in the store, not the regular price that is listed online. Today when I walked in I was greeted by Bill. He is an amazing person. He's very friendly. He made us feel welcomed. Excellent customer service. Needed a new dining room set and headed over to Ashley’s furniture store to see what they had. When we walked in we recognized Miss Peggy from a previous store, not realizing she worked there. We immediately went straight to working with her because we had such a wonderful experience with her previously. She doesn’t beat around the bush and always gives us straight forward answers. We picked what we wanted and bing bang boom, we got a new dining room set. We really appreciate Miss Peggy and its nice to know that she works at Ashley’s, because that means we’ll be be back when we’re ready for more furniture. My boyfriend and I had a great experience, the customer service was unmatched. Peggy went above and beyond to help us find a sleeper sofa with a matching loveseat. I had an idea of what I was looking for based off a previous visit but Peggy took the time to show us all of our options and compare prices. Seanie and Terry were wonderful as well guiding us through the financing part. We unfortunately weren't able to make it in before 8:30pm, and were not planning on going through with any paperwork today, but the three of them made the process so simple and quick that we couldn't refuse. And none of them seemed bothered by the fact that we kept them there after close. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely return for our next furniture purchase!!

Lorna at Ashley Homestore in Mechanicsburg was amazing! She was patient while I decided between two different coffee tables and went back and forth for a while. I told her my price range and she promptly found a sectional that would fit. I also told her all of my wishes for the furniture to be pet resistant and she found the perfect set. Honestly a decent store with a good selection but the sales staff made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be. One of the associates, Peggy, would not leave us alone as we tried to shop despite us repeatedly stating that we wanted to look around on our own. She kept hounding us about price point, and we caught her literally following us from a distance as we walked through the store. We would really have liked to buy something, but after our 5th run in with Peggy we decided to take our business elsewhere. My advice for Peggy is to let people shop and take their time looking. Management should consider re-training sales staff.

Bought a sofa the other day at this location and the experience was satisfying. As someone who doesn't like to shop for furniture Brandi made it as painless for me as possible. The first time me and my husband came here to get our table the customer service skills was on point. Yesterday we went in to ask questions about our credit card we have through them trying to see if we can pay our bill with that. We spoke with a lady name Sharon she was very rude, but I kept it very professional. She was yelling!! Her customer service skills lead up to this review I been in retail over 10 years and that’s just not how you treat a customer.
I had an amazing experience at this store today! Every single staff member was helpful and friendly. I didn’t feel pressured at all into making any decisions on the spot. Eric was amazing and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better customer service experience from him. He was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor so I really felt like I was dealing with a friend. I have used Ashley’s Furniture in the past and my experience there today solidified why I won’t go anywhere else for furniture purchases. I can’t wait for my living room set to come in!

Worst experience EVER. I don’t recommend. My husband and I we went to Ashley Furniture because they were advertising discounts! I spent nearly 11K. On 2 couches and two bedrooms furniture. Beds, mattresses and dressers. Our sales associate was Gregory . Worst customer service received! We never saw a breakdown of our furniture cost and yet supposedly gave us a 30% discount . That was a lie. And on top of everything we supposed to get free pillows with our purchase when we got home and reviewed the receipt we got charged. When I went to return them they refused. Not only that we got qualified for free delivery. When they arrived with our furniture, prior to that Greg said that they will remove the old mattress! He lied about that too. We had to pay $30 to have the old mattress removed. When I called the store I spoke to Brandy who she was an absolute nasty to deal with. Her comments were “nothing it’s free in this world anymore “ Again Greg the sale associate assured us everything is taking care of. What a joke the service received was one of my worst yet! I “ DONT RECOMMEND ASHLEY FURNITURE. Pay a little more and go to a place that provides great service and cares about their customers.
Sectional that was delivered was JUNK - pieces did not fit together - HUGE gaps. Quality did not appear what was on showroom floor. Was charged 10% for “restocking fee”. Explained to manager I should not be charged due to quality - she did not care, said it was the best she would do. Also - they are a sister to regency furniture.

The 5 stars is for Alesha Elchin for correcting a problem with a couch we bought 5 years ago. The cushions went bad quickly and we visited several times to see if they would fix it. They claimed they couldn't find our order, couldn't find the type of couch we had. Walked in last week to buy new cushions and covers since I knew the color wouldn't match. I was very surprised the Alesha told me the last people I dealt with clearly didn't want to take the time to fix the issue and tried to sweep it under the rug so to speak. She ordered us new cushions and covers for free. Not a great experience from start to finish. But maybe current management is trying to help the customers more than previous managers.
Sales captain Sarah sets a destination for quality furniture at bargain prices and thankfully it is not a 3 hour tour. Friendly, personable, and low pressure, she made the experience a pleasure.

Don't bother buying any warranties from this company. Bought a warranty with our living room set and the contract said if we didn't use it after 4 years, we'd get the cash to spend in store within the next year. Straight scam. We showed up within the contract time and they refused to honor it. Had the contract in our hands and it was clearly stated, they still refused to honor. Buy elsewhere!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Customer service and quality of products are terrible. Let me start off by saying I’m not a customer who complains, but I am very upset about how we were treated. My husband and I bought a sofa, love seat, chair and a half, end tables, and coffee tables from Ashley furniture in Mechanicsburg, PA (totaling $4428.29). These all delivered on 12/28/22. By 3/30/23 we submitted a complaint on the sofa for the cushions already being worn and the arms of the sofa making a weird popping sound when you touch it (like a soda bottle popping). We requested an exchange for a different sofa from ashley furniture (not a refund). It took customer service almost a month to come out and look at the couch, which they said is something they had to do in order to determine if the couch can be repaired or exchanged. They came out to look at our couch on 4/26/23 and said they could either replace or repair the couch or we can talk to the store about exchanging it for another couch. We stated that we would only want to exchange it for another couch from the store. After getting the go around on whether or not they would let us exchange the couch set for another from their store, on 5/1/23 we received a notification from Brandy Page (a manager at the mechanicsburg, pa location) that they would not exchange the couch and would only repair the couch. I decided to drive to the store this evening after work to talk to someone in person. I am 7 months pregnant and wanted to resolve this issue before I have my baby. I talked to Brandy Page only to be told that her hands were tied and what did i expect after owning the couch for 5 months. I told her that we had only had the couch for 2 months when we brought this issue to light. She made me feel as if my business was not valued and not her concern. This is not the service or quality of furniture I expected when purchasing from Ashley furniture. I am very disappointed and will sadly not be purchasing from this store again nor recommending anyone to do so either.

Enjoyed my visit. There was a 30% off sale. I was greeted by Sarah when I came in the door. She asked what I was looking for I gave her a brief description of what I was looking for. She pointed me in directions of where I could find but I wanted. I requested that she give us some time to look around and try stuff out. She gave us plenty of space came back and checked on us and we had narrowed it down to six sofas. She walked with us to find out what we liked about them we didn't like about them and then actually pointed to us the one that we haven't even looked at. And it seemed to be a perfect fit. I was extremely happy with her help!

I was in yesterday, shopping for living room furniture. My experience with Grant started off a bit rocky. He didn’t listen to much of anything I had to say, and he talked over me the entire time. I had to stop him several times. He was giving me pricing and I mentioned it was different online and I could just order there, if it was going to be cheaper. And yes, I know the online store is separate from this one. He quickly cut me off to tell me that and went on to say, they would only deliver to my front door without setup. I had to stop again to tell him, that was inaccurate and advised online offered the same options as in store. He questioned it, so I pulled out my phone and showed him. That was draining. I told him about the payment plan I wanted. He quickly dismissed me AGAIN, stating that’s not an option in-store or online with the sale. He was wrong again and I had my phone to prove it. I informed him that I had already started the order process online and knew what my options were. I should not have had to do that. When it came to delivery, he said one of them items was coming in later but I could pickup to avoid delay. I said maybe and said I’d get a Uhaul to get it and he dismissed me again, as if he was the one paying for this, and said I didn’t need to rent a Uhaul for that. I could just wait for everything to ship together. I almost walked out! After he explained the weight of the item, I decided to wait for it to be delivered, as it made sense, but it wasn’t his call to make. After all that, I will say, through the rudeness, he was very thorough and helped me to get what I wanted but I should not have had to encounter all the rudeness and disrespect to get there. As I was finishing my order with the cashier, I mentioned be a faithful customer of Value City Furniture. He cockily said he was as sorry. I just laughed, not wanting to make a scene. He’s an awesome salesperson, however, he could use some coaching when interacting with people. While, he was able to help me get what I needed, I’d definitely bypass him should I visit that location again. Also, the cashier blurting out my available credit card was the last straw. That’s my personal business and I was well aware of what my available credit was and didn’t need it broadcast to strangers. It was stupid and these people would clearly benefit from some coaching on GOOD customer service. The two stars are for the customer service I received. Otherwise, I would have been a five.
I decided to go window shopping. Not really needing anything. We were looking at the beds. Sales lady said they have a golden ticket sale. Spend $1000 and get a $100 visa gift card. We decided it was a good time to replace our bed. $5000 sale= $500 gift card. We did not want to finance, I was then told we must do credit to get the gift card. So we agreed. My wife went to the kiosk and filled out the credit info. The sales lady waits until we are completely done with the credit application to inform us she was wrong and the gold ticket sale was over. We still went through with the sale. After I went home and thought about it, we decided to cancel. Well, within the 72 hours. Then they wanted me to come in with my card to refund the down payment. I live 45 minutes from the storeI don't think so. I will never be walking in here again. Called card company and disputed the charge. Pain in the... After several week we got our money back.
This store and entire company treat customers really bad.the store manager does not know how to talk, before he investigates his team he called me liar. and my signature got forged and entire company believing the fake document somebody madeup. A few days later, we visited and they admitted that my signature was forged by someone in the company. but then no update from anybody, everybody when i called someone such as sotre or the corporate customer service i had to explain everything from begining to the current situation. Store manager is out of sick and he has not communicated with other team members. so i get stuck in the situation without answer and solution. I get it mistakes happen or somebody is trying to do something wrong, but then as a company, or store, they should work as team and get issue solved. you cannot toss customers place to place and no answer, treat me as liar and each time i have to get yelled by them. I do not recommend anybody to give this store or business any purchase until they treat any customer with respect.

Bill and Greg were my sales associates that helped my husband and me. Bill made us laugh while helping us look for a sectional and Greg was great with giving us information and helping us select the best adjustable bed for us. I purchased a motorized recliner with warranty for $1,600. After a few weeks it was delivered. Used it once to recline and the motor and power buttons stopped. Tried most of a week to get it resolved with the store. Apparently only one person in the entire store can take care of it. Difficult to believe this. Everyone else claims the can only deal with sales. Now I am told probably 2 weeks for a repair!!! It is a brand new high end chair and it requires repair? Very disappointed and feeling taken by this local business. If it were an ethical and respectable business they would replace the defective chair, not get a repair.
Bought a recliner for $1,600 with warranty. After waiting several weeks it was delivered. Assemblers left without testing it. I used it the fit time and the motor quit. Chased the store for a week because only one person could address the issue. Really? Only one person is capable of getting an immediate repair in a business of that size? It is also horrible business practice to have to repair a brand new chair that was quite expensive. Should have gone to elsewhere and paid half the price for a chair that works.
Ashley has been very patient as I have had to push my furniture delivery back a few times due to home renovations. I just want to call out Seanie though - I pushed it back for the last time but he was the only person to t explain the process of return if there were damages and to let me know to fully look everything over before signing anything. He was helpful and kind!

We have purchased several pieces of furniture from the Ashley Furniture in Mechanicsburg and have always been very pleased with the price and quality of the furniture. The last two times we dealt with Amanda who was our sales associate and she was such a pleasure to work with. She did her best to make sure we were getting the best deal! Seanie was our customer service rep and did a great job at answering all our questions at checkout. We will definitely be returning for more furniture in the near future and hope to work with both of them again!

Yesterday was the first time I had been in Ashley's new location in Mechanicsburg. It is big, beautiful, clean, and high-end. The selection is fantastic, competitively priced and the sales prices can't be beat. The best part of our experience was Bill, who is fantastic. Bill is so personable and knowledgeable about the inventory that we ended up purchasing a mid-century style living room set during the same visit. Wrapping up our transaction was Shawnee. He did a great job answering all of our questions. The whole staff is wonderful. If you are looking for furniture, Ashley is the place to go!

I recently purchased a Dining Room bench to add to our table & Greg was most helpful, so nice to work with & gave us a great deal! Midday, in desperate need of a couch I make my way to my local Ashley Furniture. Overwhelmed in the best way by the large assortment and variety, I enter the store. After a respectful amount of time I was approached by the kind visage of Amanda. Easy going and kind, Amanda walked me through this Mecca of Cozy to find my diamond in the rough. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but if you saw my eventual purchase you would agree that my new living room set is beautiful. After being told the very reasonable cost for this new treasure of mine, I was introduced to my customer service representative who’s attention never wavered from the task at hand and with an efficiency and demeanor that would be envied by Mary Poppins my home was complete and my bank was intact. Thank you Amanda, Sara and all Ashley Furniture, Mechanicsburg for the pleasant experience.

Purchased a couch & loveseat that were delivered to the store so that we could pick it up while moving out of town. Upon arrival we inspected the furniture before we loaded it into the uHaul. The loveseat was perfect, but unfortunately the frame of the couch was broken. The staff didn’t even hesitate to accommodate - they offered us the floor model with the new cushions & gave us money back! They were so wonderful & it was really appreciated during an already stressful day. Wish Ashley Furniture would come up to State College!

Just financed a VERY comfy sectional with a chaise over the weekend. Peter helped us out with the whole process and was very polite and professional. The nice thing about this store is we didn't feel pressured to buy while browsing. The manager also checked in on us a few times to make sure we were being helped, friendly guy.
Sandy helped me today get a couch for my new home, and I could not be more pleased with the customer service. She was very helpful and cares about her customers. Overall, everyone was very nice and informative!
My wife and I purchased a dresser, a California king bed with headboard and bed rails, and a sectional sofa from them in February, with a down payment. They told us 12-16 weeks for all of it to come in, which to me seems a bit long but with supply chain issues and the world being what it is, we were ok with. June rolls around and we get no phone calls about anything, so we call them and they tell us everything is in but the bed rails. They will be in by the end of the month. We are annoyed but again, supply chain issues, so we stay patient. End of June rolls around, no phone call from them so we call again. No bed rails but they will be in first or second week of July. Now this is getting ridiculous. My wife calls middle of July, she is told August 1st. They are bed rails…we aren’t mining vibranium here. So I call this morning because obviously they aren’t calling us to set up delivery and I’m told August 10th. This is is the worst retail buying experience I’ve ever had. Zero communication from them and we keep getting pushed back for the most ridiculous part of the purchase. There is no way it should take this long, nor would I ever recommend them to someone else.

I had great experience today at Ashely home store!! Great customer service! I entered the store and was greeted by a nice salesman! I love their selection and prices!! The general manager Mr. Baker was very knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely come back!!
UPDATE: I had a fabulous experience at the store when purchasing my items. They arrive today which was very quick. But they were supposed to be here between 8am and noon. When they never showed up I called the store who said I was listed as being delivered between 3 PM and 7 PM. When my items did arrive, the delivery people knocked down two of my ceramic pots on the front porch destroying the one plant and breaking both pots without mentioning a word to me. They also knocked down a bunch of things in my hallway going up to the second floor bedroom. I absolutely love my furniture but I will think twice about making another purchase from there if this is how they handle their deliveries

I have never had such an awful experience. the kept on pushing the delivery date of our furniture back, but only bothered telling us on the day we were expecting our delivery. I’m still a couple thousand dollars down and have no furniture, we’ll see if it ever arrives!

I went into Ashley looking for a specific item and was helped by a wonderful salesman by the name of Peter. Peter was extremely patient with me and showed me exactly what I wanted to see. I was very unorganized and scrambled and he never rushed me or try to upsell me anything. I have previously bought a dining room set, livingroom set and bedroom suite from them and have been completely satisfied with everything. I am very anxious to receive today’s purchase.
Increased prices by 30% with no warning and wouldn't honor old price a week later. The manager is not very friendly and doesn't convey honesty. Ordering online services are poorly run. Charged card 2X incorrectly. Canceled an order and made me reorder because of address change. Hung up on customer service line. Best thing- delivery service

Shady sales tactics. Pushy salesman that over promise and under deliver. My experince at this location with staff and management was unprofessional and deceitful. I would highly recommend visiting another location - STAY AWAY FROM MECHANICSBURG location.
If I could give no stars I would. I purchased furniture from Ashley’s furniture back in November! 4 piece sectional, buffet cabinet, 8 piece dinning set and just received those items on March 29th. Mid Atlantic furniture delivered our items. The deliver company was rude, rushed and told us they wouldn’t arrange our furniture because they had to go to their next job and they were too busy. I called Ashley furniture in mechanicsburg Pa and they told me no they are suppose to arrange it. The store manager asked to talk to them and they refused while she is listening to this conversation. They said they will not arrange anything or talk to the manager because they don’t work for Ashley’s they are subcontracted. The manager said they would deal with the situation. They even put together our buffet cabinet outside where our buffet table was scratched. They never gave us time to inspect our furniture and as they attempted to rush out the door we told them look at these scratches. They said you want that fixed. Obviously. They went to their vehicle to get a marker out that they attempted to color in that has faded since then. Our home is empty with French doors plenty of room to work and put our furniture together. The store manager has sent countless emails to corporate to handle this situation and to call me! No calls what so ever from them. This is not even the worst part! The delivery company forged my husbands signature on a no fit waiver stating since our house isa liability if furniture is scratched we are responsible for the damage . I have been bounced all over the place. I keep putting supervisor call backs in and they keep passing me everywhere saying This is a delivery issue! No Ashley’s is who I purchased from y’all should want to hear and discuss the complaints being made from your customer! I’m done buying furniture from them and so is my family and we have bought alot from them. I’m reporting them as well since they don’t care to take our situation seriously. Forgery is crime. Beware of this company! I’m pretty sure they will hound you if you didn’t pay your furniture bill but won’t take care of any issues that they caused. I filed this complaint on March 29th same day all this BS occurred. I sent them videos, pictures everything. I spoke to two supervisors in delivery Tiffany Schultz who was very rude and tried to say they fired the drivers. When I said how were we suppose to know this she said it’s none of our buisness what they do with their employees. I talked to Daryl Kimbrough apparently director of drivers for this third party company Ashley’s uses and he only told me these men were suspended. They can refund of shipping charge. I asked what about our scratched furniture. I was told that has to come from Ashley’s. Nobody from Corporate of Ashley’s has called! No one.It is May 9th and I am being told now from Ashley home store they are not replacing our furniture because of this no fit waiver! WTF how many times do we tell them WE did not sign this document. If Ashley’s Corporate office would call us this would have been resolved. I’m filing every complaint and taking as much legal action as I can because this is not right. We waited 5 months for this furniture. Look at my house how would alittle buffet table not fit! Does not make sense! Ashley’s doesn’t want to responsible for this.
UPDATE - I was contacted and the wooden slats are on the way. Still frustrated that I can't even utilize the new furniture but glad the problem was resolved quickly. The manager I talked to was helpful and friendly. ORIGINAL REVIEW - I had the pleasure of getting our new king bedroom set being delivered and put together today only to be ruined by the fact that we can't even use the bed frame. The wrong part was ordered in the store by one of the associates helping us. We don't have the wooden slats to where the bed will rest on. The associate ordered platform rails instead of those wooden slats to hold the bed up. I called and was told to just wait until they return the wrong part and the correct part will be ordered. We already waited weeks for this and now we have to potentially wait more weeks until this one part arrives. I have a useless bed frame and have to figure out our sleeping situation now until we can get the wooden slats for the bed. Very upsetting to wait all this time just to not be able to use our bedroom set.
Furniture which was bought and paid for on September 4 with an original delivery date by Thanksgiving has not arrived and it is May 2. Every month I am promised the same thing, estimated delivery will be another month with not even a mention of store credit or some kind of refund. This last time I was told the “big guy” said it will definitely be there by May 1. Guess what? Still not here…it will be another month. No one from the Mechanicsburg store ever calls to give me an update. I have to call them. The sad thing is there is no tracking for anything. Buyer beware if your item is not in stock, don’t expect your furniture any time soon. So now we are going on 9 months with my money in their hands and no product or even an idea as to where my furniture is. Positively pathetic….
Disappointed is an understatement. Both my mother and I purchased a dining table set back in early September of 2021 and it was scheduled to arrive before Thanksgiving. Our delivery was continually pushed back by weeks, and then months with no explanation other than delays as a result of COVID. It's totally understandable that furniture is taking longer than normal to arrive due to circumstances out of Ashley's control, but we were super disappointed and frustrated by the lack of communication and transparency from Ashley. Each month they would tell us, "yep, it should be hear by the end of next month". They never once reached out to us about these delays, rather each month we had to call and inquire about our $3000 purchase. They now state our tables are scheduled to arrive May 1... will revise this review once/if our order actually arrives. Would love some type of compensation for being out $3000 for such an extended period of time.
Friendly sales reps, horrible management, they will put things on your bill that you don't expect. Pay attention to your itemized bill!!
They don't care about their customers and the delivery people they use are rude and they lie. They don't set up your furniture like they are suppose to and when you complain they brush it off. Go elsewhere.
Bought a dining room set and entertainment center. This was purchased on November 11 2021. Had the dinning room set and part of the entertainment set delivered the end of March. Had the tv stand delivered Aprilb14 2022. The delivery person informed me that they would not assemble the entertainment center since the tv stand was the only item on their delivery sheet. I do not hold the delivery team responsible since they did what was on the delivery sheet. I will not shop at Ashley again if they do not make this right.

We were looking for a sturdy recliner chair for my husband that he can easily get out of with his balance issues. Brooke B greeted us, asked what we were looking for, guided us to the options and gave us time to make our selection. She gave us all the information about the chair, service, & the protection plan for our selection and we proceeded with our purchase. Brooke B is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional….a great sales person. We also told her manger Will about her great service. For future needs we will visit this showroom again.

Ordered 2 nightstands on 8/1/21 with an 8 week lead time. It is now 3/21/22 and being told May-July. Very frustrated. Pushed delivery to early August.
Not recommended for anything other than cash and carry. If they do not have it in stock (floor Models do NOT count), do not trust this company to get you your item in a timely manner. We ordered our furniture at Labor Day with the expressed desire to receive products in a timely manner. We expressed at the time that if Ashley was unable to deliver before the end of the calendar year we would seek another company. The Sales people assured us that they would be able to get us all the furniture on time. To best assure that our timeline could be met we selected all but one piece of in stock furniture. We paid cash and took delivery of 11 of 12 pieces in October. It is now March, and we are still waiting for our last dresser. The biggest problem I have is the repetitive promises that we would receive our last piece within a month. This pattern has repeated itself every month since the first promised date in November. Earlier this week I was told that it was in the area and I would have it by the end of the week. I called at the end of the week and I was just told that we would now have to wait until April or May. The website now states that the backlog is 3-5 months. When most recently pressed, the store stated it has no information on the production or logistics of the delivery. It is further irritating that they have the same piece of furniture in their showroom meaning they are selling it to others (or taking orders). We offered to be satisfied with the floor model, but we were told that they could not give it to us. I do not want a refund, as the entire goal was to finally get a matching bedroom set.
Although the dining room set I wanted was backordered 16 weeks, Amanda helped me find an alternative with only a delivery time frame of a week.
We agreed on a price to buy a coffee table and side tables off the floor and made me wait for 40 mins since they were dealing with other customers which I understand. After the wait, I was told that they can’t sell it because their GM asked them not to. Very poor management.
We purchased a new couch 3 years ago. The couch is NOT durable. The salesmen upsold my gullible family members with the warranty that I told them not to get. I submitted a warranty claim and they have flat out denied the claim. There is no appeal process. Wasted money and a broken couch is all we have to show. I don’t recommend the furniture and I definitely don’t recommend the crappy warranty!

I ordered bedroom furniture and mattresses for my Master bedroom as well as my guest room back in July 2021. I followed up in December and was told that everything was in except for my mattresses. I then called again two weeks ago and was told that I was misinformed and that the only thing that was actually in was my mattresses and none of the furniture. The supply chain issues were explained to me and the sales rep offered for me to come into the store and see if I liked any of the bedroom furniture that they had “in stock”. My husband and I went in at the beginning of this week and had a look around. While we were there, we were told that the initial salesperson no longer worked there so they had another salesperson assist us. While she was looking up the order she told us that the first salesperson ordered us the wrong side bed rails. We informed her that we actually didn’t need the rails and that she could just remove them from the order. We decided to just go with the stuff we originally ordered since they basically had nothing In stock. We sat there for about 10 minutes while she typed away on her ipad. Eventually she told us she removed the bed rails from our order and that we would get a credit of $19. This raised some red flags for me since the bed rails were actually $125. I questioned her and she casually said that she accidentally deleted our entire order when she went to delete the bedrails so when she redid the order there was a price increase! She never even apologized for the oversight. We then asked if our order wait time would restart since she had to do a new order and she said yes. My husband and I were both super frustrated and told her to forget it!! I called the next day and spoke with the Manager and explained to her what happened. She assured me that she would try everything to make it right and told me that her “top sales guy” would be calling me. Well he called and told me that he was would be able to reorder everything and that he was able to give me “several discounts” since there has been price increases. Even with all these great discounts, Ashley’s still wanted me to pay an additional $600 to reorder stuff they cancelled!!!!! Save yourself the time and aggravation, go ANYWHERE else!!
Such a nice place! Brooke B. was super nice, attentive, and helped a lot. She happened to find something that was going to be in stock for when I wanted it and for a VERY reasonable. Satisfied with the experience and will definitely come here again in the future!
The store has alot of nice set up displays , My wife and I enjoy shopping there alot , Furniture is of good quality and well constructed , We have purchased a sectional couch before Christmas and was told 10/12 weeks ,with luck came in a little earlier .Just ordered a couple of chairs and ottomans. Looking like 12 weeks again. It is what it is ! But overall experience with Ashley is very good , Brooke was our sales rep . We liked her approach and her overall laided back sales talk👍👍
We ordered a sectional from this location in September 2021. In October I received the only call from the saying our couch would be delivered the first week of December. Around mid December I called and was told that it had been pushed back to late January/mid-February. I called again today now it’s late February to mid March. Unless you don’t want your furniture within the next 6 months, then yeah you should shop here. They don’t provide you updates unless you call. They can’t provide you an accurate estimate of when you’ll receive your furniture. It’s just not a good experience. If you can avoid shopping here, do it.
We ordered a sectional in September 2021, we were told 6 to 12 weeks. I have received ONE call from Ashley's to let me know that it would be delivered the first week of December. December came and went...nothing. We called it's been pushed out to the end of January-mid February. We called again today 1/29 it's been pushed back to the end of February to mid March! So if you enjoy not having furniture. No follow up from their customer service this is where you should shop.

I ordered a sectional and oversized chair on August 3 of this year and was told delivery would be 8 - 12 weeks. I even have my paperwork that says the same thing. 12 weeks would have been November and no call came. I had to go into the store and was told the pieces would be in mid December. Well now it has been 21 weeks. I just called in a few days ago and was told the computer now says July but it could possibly show up end of February. I called in again and was told basically who knows if the order will even be fulfilled. This was unacceptable weeks ago and has now crossed beyond that. I am now getting ready to move into a newly built house where I will have no living room furniture.
My wife and I were helped by Brooke. She is very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. We got almost all the furniture for our new house from this store. Great service, greater deals, and greatest satisfaction.
Ordered a bedroom suite for my daughter. Was told I should have it "by Thanksgiving but it could arrive before". It was stated multiple times. Thanksgiving came and went. I finally called the store (placing the call on speaker and letting it ring until someone finally decided to answer). The lady that answered the phone stated delivery was pushed back "a month or two". OR TWO?? So, just go ahead and tell me it could be March or April, if I'm lucky. The biggest selling point, the whole reason of going to Ashley, is the fact that they prided themselves on a 12 week delivery while competitors are offering 6-9 months. Well, surprise, surprise, Ashley is no better than their competitors. In fact, they're worse. I can't stand liars. Cancel my order? They said they could charge me 30%. It was a $2,400 order. Am I ready to give up over $700 for absolutely NOTHING? Not without a fight. I always liked Ashley furniture, but bet your sweet tail I'll never trust them again. I'll buy off the Walmart shelf before I buy from Ashley HomeStore again.

bought an accent table, they opened the box and it appears there were no issues. when we went to put it together there was a hair line crack that would be close to impossible to see. clearly was a manufacturing issue, The store refused to take back as we signed off. Do not buy from them
This location grand-opened in Oct 2021. It moved from down the road on Carlisle Pike, taking over Dick's Sporting Goods. I'd say the new location is probably 3x bigger. The new "outlet" section is probably already the size of the old location. So as you can imagine, the selections are vast. I didn't compare the prices, but due to the supply chain issues across the country right now, any observation would not be representative of normal pricing. I won't be surprised if you'll have to wait for a long time for a given order, per what I've been hearing on TV.No one greeted me when I went in but for this trip it's a good thing because I was really just browsing. In general, I actually do not want the added pressure of a sales associate pestering me every few minutes when I really don't any need help.So far I have nothing to complain. The establishment is brand new and showcasing great selections, and the ambiance and decors that's full of hope and promise for what your home could be.

Dakota provided great service from the time he greeted me coming into the store. He was fast and efficient in getting a price match and was patient while I made up my mind with no pressure involved. It was the way a sales should be made, letting the product speak for itself with financial incentives of course. All in all a great experience!

We ordered a sofa /loveseat and ottoman back in July but the delivery date keeps changing from rhe manufacturer.. and now most likely will not receive until after the holidays..Faced with the possibility of my family sitting on the floor for Thanksgiving and Christmas Karyn took charge and found us at least a loveseat until the rest of the furniture comes in....I cannot publicly thank her enough for her efforts. Waiting for furniture this long has been arduous to say the least Karyn is making it at least doable....Shop at the Mechanicsburg store ...Karyn will help...
I recently visited another newly-open furniture store in the area and wasn’t impressed with their customer service/knowledge of products. They then told me to go to Ashley to see if they carry what I’m looking for. I did and was greeted immediately by Brooke B. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. I didn’t end up buying anything, but I wanted to give Brooke a shoutout for going above and beyond.
Ordered a dresser on June 5. Was told 8-12 weeks which would put delivery at the end of August (at the latest). Today is 21 weeks since we ordered. They still have no explanation as to what is taking so long other than blaming the warehouse. We went to the store today and cancelled our order and got a full refund. What a complete waste of 5 months. 🙄 The girl at the desk today was nice though.
After signing contract, was called over three weeks later to be informed that my bed was going to be delivered over three months later. The woman on the phone could not comprehend that this was a problem. Poor training, high prices, and no effort after they have your money.

Purchased a sectional from Ashley Home Store in May 2021. It was broken on delivery but did realize it until we sat on it later and it made a horrible noise. Frame is broken and poking out the back. Scheduled a repair and the repair person never showed up. Took another 3 weeks of phone calls and visits to the store to have them replace the broken sectional. Now 5 months later I still have a broken sectional and have been told it will be another few weeks (standard answer) until it shows up in the warehouse. No one calls me to follow up. I have called several times and get no phone calls back. Now no one at the store answers the phone. Never again will I purchase from Ashley no matter the sale price. Could have purchased something better for less elsewhere. Live and learn.
I bought a sofa during labor day weekend. Alesha was very helpful while I was browsing the different sofas in the store and was willing to answer the millions of questions I had. She was very nice and very professional. I was told it would be a 12 week delivery time but was pleasantly surprised when they called me to schedule a delivery only a few weeks after I had made the purchase. The sofa is very nice and looks great. My experience was excellent.
UPDATE: When contacted about a concrete plan and delivery timeline, Karen was able to pull things together for us. Updating to 3 stars. Overall, in a volatile supply chain, the store needs to be upfront and transperant on actual lead times rather than lying to make the sale. Same 8-12 week promise as everyone else on here. Been 6 months at this point. No proactive communication. Every time we call, we get a date 2 weeks out, after which it's again not delivered. Karen the manager has no accountability for the failed promises. Going to refund the payment and look elsewhere. At this point another 8 months waiting for a couch isn't a big deal as long as I don't have to deal with lies.
My husband and I are in dire need of a new mattress. On on our way to our original destination to buy one a few weeks ago, we noticed that Ashley Furniture sold mattresses, so we decided to stop in. I’m SO GLAD we did. I was honestly just going to get the firmest (and probably cheapest) mattress they had and be done. Amanda Wanner, Home Furnishing Consultant, came back to assist. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t want a pressured sales pitch as has been our experience at traditional mattress stores. Amanda was very patient and took the time to help us find the perfect mattress for both of us and never made us feel pressured. When I was between one of two mattresses, based on my spinal alignment, she recommended the less expensive of the two, which tells me she’s in it for the health of the customer, and not the financial benefit of the company. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a mattress go see Amanda at the Ashley Furniture on the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg!!

We had purchased a queen sleeper couch mid April 2021 and were told about 8-12 weeks. We've continuously called about updates and no one every got back to us or had any updates whatsoever. Or would tell us to call back in 2 weeks. But yet again, nothing. It's week 24 and we got a refund as we haven't had a couch since we moved here back in March 2021. We understood the back order and have been patient but when you tell someone a timeline, you should follow through or at least give updates every few weeks.
In a word horrible. Sometimes you read reviews and you think "oh that's just some unhappy person, that no one can make happy." Not me. We waited patiently for furniture to come. After 4 mos finally started calling asking. Somehow it was in and delivery was scheduled. One piece was broken and didn't make it out of truck. Couch we realized part was broken once they left. Called -- repair would be out to fix. About a week went by. Nothing. Long story went in and the whole mindset was "oh well call corporate". Manager was not only not helpful but almost gave the feeling that could care less. So I finally got through to corporate -- and we shall see if they come through. Shouldn't have to do this. Customer service brings people back and prevents people from 1) going through their credit card, 2) attorney general consumer protection and 3) putting the truth on social media. Won't ever do business with them again.

Me and my fiancé went in to Ashley Homestore today (9/18/21) and we were greeted by Amanda. She asked what we needed help with and then let us check the store out for a few minutes then came back and checked on us. At first we just wanted a sofa but then we decided on a mattress as well. She was so pleasant and kind to work with. She made sure that all of our needs were met. Thank you, Amanda! 😊
I had a horrible experience with this Ashley. I bought a dining table set, but they didn’t tell me when I’d get it. Afterward, I realized I’d get it in 3 months. After the 3 months I still didn’t get my dining table, so my husband called and the lady told him it got lost because they accidentally sent it to the wrong location. The lady was so rude to my husband and told him that if he didn’t want the dining table set that he’d lose the money in the deposit. We waited another month and the dining table set still didn’t arrive, so we cancelled our order and they never gave us back our money for a mistake they themselves made.
RE: Ongoing delay - misinformation (see also: 23 Weeks and Counting . . .) Like many of the posts in this thread, mine is a word of caution regarding the delays Ashley HomeStore is currently facing with their manufacturing, warehouse, and delivery. While it is understandable that some of the elements are out of their control, what has been most disappointing is the failure to communicate honestly and set realistic expectations. Our experience appears to be an example of malicious and dishonest customer service. We purchased our sectional couch in April 2021. For context, we had just moved into our home and learned that we were pregnant with our first. With that in mind, it was crucial that we furnish our home in time for the baby's arrival. During the buying process, we communicated to the Ashley HomeStore staff what our timeline was. We were assured that we could expect our Sectional Couch in "8-12 weeks". While the staff was apologetic that it would take so long, we were assured because that timeline would still ensure that the couch was delivered well before we were expecting the baby. As you can imagine, the "8-12 weeks" came and went without any word or update from Ashley HomeStore. By Week 14, I called and was informed that there had been unexpected delays with their manufacturer and I could expect my couch by Week 18 came and went and again, no update or call from Ashley. I called in again and asked about the status; I was again told about unexpected delays but again assured that I could expect the couch by Week 20. Same scenario played out. A call on Week 22 finally revealed an honest conversation where I was told that they genuinely do not know when I can expect my couch. It could be next month, it very well could be next year. Meanwhile, my wife and I have been attempting to feed and soothe our child while sitting on an air mattress in the middle of our living room. On top of the frustrations associated with the delays, the most disappointing aspect has been the poor communication. After reading the rest of the reviews in this thread, it is very clear that (at the outset) the staff knew that 8-12 weeks was an unrealistic timeline. Furthermore, the staff knew that they were likely unable to give a realistic timeline. However, instead of communicating the likelihood of delays to me and my pregnant wife; they instead took advantage of the situation in order to make a sale. At no time throughout this entire process have we been offered any sort of discount or compensation as a means of tender for the delay. Rather we have only been met with more false information and unrealistic expectations. TLDR; We purchased a sectional couch 23 weeks ago and have yet to receive it/Ashley HomeStore has continually failed to provide realistic updates.
We bought furniture for an entire house and we are very happy with the customer service we received from Dakota. He was so patient with us and spent an entire afternoon helping answer questions, moving furniture and working out pricing, we are excited to see what the furniture will look like in our new house!
Customer service was awesome! Dakota was my salesman. He was very patient and informative! He let me look around the store without hovering. I asked him carry a chair from the back and put it next to a couch so I could see if I liked it. Great experience! The other salespeople were just as nice. Ibwill definitely be back!
Needed new living room furniture so we decided to check out Ashley's legit day sale. Found what we were looking for. Of course the expected delivery is up to three months out but we already expected that so no concern for us. Brooke was very helpful and patient as we went back and forth several times deciding which set we wanted. No overbearing sales tactics from anyone in the store and Brooke helped with advice and opinions when we asked. Overall great customer experience.

Ordered furniture on 3/19/21. I finally got my money back in November. If they would have spent half as much time ordering the correct furniture as they did fighting me on my refund, I wouldn't have needed the refund. Terrible service from the time they took my money until the time I got it back. I had to contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint to get my money.
If I could give zero stars as a review, I would. I am super disappointed with the Mechanicsburg Ashley. I ordered a couch in person back in May 2021. I was super excited for this couch as it would fit my apartment style perfectly and was super comfy. I understand with covid there was going to be prolonged processing. They told me 8-12 weeks and I was fine with that. However, what I was not okay with was them processing my payment a week after I bought my couch. In addition, I have never received an update on my couch. I called the store after 12 weeks (in July) and they told me that it would be delivered July 29th. Perfect! I called about a week later to set up time to make sure I had someone available while I was at work. While on the phone they told me that the couch was going to be delivered from the warehouse to the store on July 29th and not to my house despite my initial phone call saying that July 29th would be the delivery date. Nevertheless, they said they would call me for delivery date. On August 10th I still haven’t heard from Ashley, so I called them again. I was told that the delivery truck failed July 29th and August 3rd and the next truck won’t be delivery until September 7th, So, seventeen weeks after the purchase, with my payment already processed, I never have once received an update from Ashley themselves. During the same phone call, I told them about how my payment was already processed and all they could say was sorry. I decided to call the regional Ashley customer service (apparently Mechanicsburg is a different branch?). They kept handing me off to different people, and finally I was told my couch now won’t come to store until October 19 (23 weeks), but still no promises. As customer there is an unsettling feeling when a company has my money, but I don’t have my couch. I asked for a refund or discount for this trouble which they refused. Currently, I’m left with no money and no couch to show for it. My couch may or may not arrive as it has nearly taken double the expected delivery time with still no certainy. I will never be buying from Ashley furniture again as they are scamming consumers. Super disappointed.

They don't even deserve one star. My mother purchased furniture and it took forever to get a dining set which she still doesn't have the bench to complete the set 18 weeks later. She also purchased living room furniture which all of a sudden after 18 weeks they can't get and the only reason she found out is because my sister went in person yesterday to the store. My mom called today because of course she wants refunded the money for the living room furniture and the person who answered just laid the phone done and hung up on her. The better business bureau will be involved so if someone from Ashley is reading this you know who this is by now and I suggest you make it right. I don't know if all the stores are like this but stay Way from the one on the carlisle pike in Mechanicsburg pa.
My overall experience dealing with Ashley’s in Mechanicsburg has been awfully frustrating. Now, my quarrels are not with the individuals in the store. In fact, Karyn the office manager has been extremely helpful and understanding. My problems are with the delivery and repair crew. We waited three months for our dining room furniture (not a big deal, it’s a pandemic. There are shortages with materials and staff.) to be delivered and assembled. As you can see from the pictures, the table is all sorts of messed up. Normally, this would have been caught before the delivery guys left and we would have tried to resolve it then. They all but ran out the door after handing the paper work to my wife who was working (I took off, I was there but not trying to hover because that seems rude. I didn’t realize they left until I heard their truck start.) I tried to call and get them to come back five minutes after they left but was told that wasn’t possible and I’d have to file a claim to get it repaired. Okay, fine. I figured I’d go through the motions and I’d only have to wait a week or two for someone to come back. I was told today that the earliest someone can come to fix the issues that Ashley’s caused was mid-October. TWO MONTHS for them to come and fix THEIR mistakes. It would be one thing if this was just standard warranty repair a year from now but they never succeeded in delivering the product correctly in the first place like I PAID FOR. This whole experience is ridiculous and I want my money back and they won’t even do that. I recommend NEVER buying anything from them and if you do, I hope you’re lucky enough to have it delivered correctly or you’ll just be storing broken furniture instead of using it.

My husband, Bradley, and I want to apologize for writing this review so late as we went there about a week ago or so, but we just had to make sure we did get to write it! We could not recommend buying from this store enough. My husband and I value a wonderful customer service experience, and definitely this store hit all 5 stars for us! Specifically, our sales associate, Peter, took so good care of us. Not only did he help us order our wonderful new couch, but he also was so friendly and welcoming. We want somewhere that we know we aren't just another person to sell too. We want to feel valued for who we are and be able to build a relationship with the person who is taking care of us. Peter did all that and more. It's rare to find such a wonderful person willing to get to know you, and make you feel welcomed instead of hurrying you out the door. In this world we need more people like this! It's kind of like a giant hug, as if you have been to the store a million times. We need places we can return to where we know we will always be taken care of and never seem like a burden. We definitely will return if we ever need to buy anything else in the future. We cannot recall the names of the others, but there also were other wonderful individuals who helped us as we checked out. Thank you so much Peter and the rest of the team that served us that day! So spent over $2500 on a recliner and love seat paid xtra for additional warranty 3 weeks later ...... recliner won't go down arms are bent in the inside of both items and Ashley will not repair or replace!!! They say because they didn't deliver it we picked up. No one said warranty was null if we don't deliver. Furniture is junk!!!!

Came into Ashley’s not expecting to find what I needed because I have an extremely small living space. Greg Love met my daughter and I at the door and immediately sat down and drew out what we needed. He took the time to walk around and measure couches until we found what would fit. Don’t waste your time here. I’m on week 17 of waiting on furniture and every time i talk to an employee they keep pushing back the date. First it was the second to last week of July they would have everything in. Then it was august 3, now it’s the first week of September! Complete bull****. I was told 8-12 weeks and covid isn’t an excuse anymore nor is being short staffed! I walked in there the other day and couldn’t walk around without every employee being up my a**. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere! I’ve always shopped at Ashley’s but they lost a valuable customer! I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and going in to cancel my order.
Unless you are willing to wait MONTHS for you order then do not shop here. Placed in order back in March 2021 and sales staff was nice and helpful at the beginning when the order was placed, it stopped after that. Was told there was plenty of inventory and my couch should be in in a couple weeks and they would call me a week after purchase to give a delivery date. Since the order I received 0 calls for updates on the delivery ETA and had to make every phone to get an update. All they tell you is a tentative date but never followed through. Phone rings endlessly ever time you call the store, good luck getting someone to answer and you can’t leave a message. They provide no compensation for lack of customer service and lack of order updates. When I spoke to a manager about it being almost 6 months until the delivery which was way out from what I was originally told at purchase was told “they make no promises or guarantees”. Nothing wrong with then furniture quality but customer service is severely lacking. I would have preferred honesty of knowing the delivery would take a long time over being given the run around and no updates.
I just bought over 2,500$ of furniture from them chair was broke in the box over 600$ chair an they won’t stand behind there product 2 of the 4 legs are broke an they won’t replace or refund me I’m furious!!!!!!!!!!

The sales process went extremely well with Dakota and the store manager Kyle back in February. Unfortunately all customer service stopped after the sale. Four months and three deliveries later all of our furniture finally arrived. There was slight damage done to our wall and the bed frame and they take no responsibility. I was told I’d have to file a claim with the delivery company for the damage to our wall and they are not responsible for any manufacturer defects to the bed. You call the store and it rings for ten minutes until someone picks up. Messages to the new store manager are not returned. I’ve written to their home office and was offered a fifty dollar gift card to their store. Why would someone want to return after this experience? Have filed a complaint with the PA attorney generals office hoping for a more amicable resolution but I’m not hopeful based upon their responsiveness thus far. We’ve purchased all of our furniture from them over the last 25 years but this will be our last.

Do NOT shop here! I ordered a living room set in March 2021. I was told 6-8 weeks for delivery. At the beginning of June we returned to check the status; the manager told us there was a tentative delivery date of June 12th, but that never happened. I just went in the store and spoke to an argumentative female manager that was condescending and anything but helpful. She told me my only options were to wait (but she’s unable to give me a time frame for my delivery, just dates that their warehouse may get some of these sets delivered), select another set (So I can wait another 4-6 months?), or cancel the order. Terrible customer service. I’m extremely disappointed not Ashley Furniture and will never return.
Over priced
Update: It is now over 2 months from the first date I was told my replacement sectional would arrive and I am no further. I have been provided a total of 4 dates it would arrive, but it never does. Nobody is answering the phone at the store and not responding to my email. My sectional was to be delivered about 2 weeks ago. When it arrived, they delivered the wrong sectional. The delivery crew got into an argument on the phone with the store manager, who communicated to them that they were not to leave my home without the product. They left without the sectional while I was on the phone with the manager. While they said they would come back later for it, I made sure to communicate to the manager that I have a dog and if he damaged the couch I would not be responsible. When the delivery crew first arrived, they backed into my driveway, which is sloped and damaged my driveway. So far, the date I was told a new sectional would be in the warehouse, came and passed and it did not arrive in the warehouse. I have been told Ashley will not commit to one of the sectionals being designated for me. I have also been told they will not guarantee prioritized delivery when a new piece does arrive. Also, there has been no movement on getting my driveway repaired. I was told I would be "generously compensated for my trouble." With no date for when the new couch will arrive and no plans to repair my driveway, they are providing a meager $100 compensation. Which, at best, is a waive of the delivery fee. I can't remember if the delivery charges were more than that, but the definitely were not less.
Had a great experience at Ashley HomeStore during their Memorial Day weekend sale. Our sales rep, Brooke Baughman was very helpful and managed to get us an even better deal than what the actual sale was. We ended up purchasing more furniture than planned. Looking forward to the delivery!

Went in for a dresser, found exactly what we wanted. They would not let us have the floor model, but told us that we would have to pay for it, and wait for it to come from the warehouse in 8-12 weeks. We waited well past the estimated time, and all they could do is email the warehouse who never responded to them after more weeks. Today it had been TWENTY ONE WEEKS. We went in to get our $$ refunded. I would give them 1 star, but the salesman Greg Love, was awesome. None of this was his fault. I would buy from him again in a heartbeat, just not from Ashley Furniture. Not sure why they couldn't just give us the floor model, as they obviously shouldn't be offering it to anyone else anyway. 🙄

I have ordered some Dining table + chair Set on Feb 2021 paying full cash and this is NOT a special order item , expecting the item to be delivered by April first week and this is . We never received any call back from the office mentioning the expected time of item availability . Followed up on April , then was told items will be delivered by May first week and it was like a moving date and last i was told it will be june last week .Finally i had to cancel my order because these june end dates were also not convincing. I understand they might have staff shortages , but as a customer we expect someone to pick calls atleast once in a while .No one seems to be available to take phone calls. Even for cancelling the order after 12 weeks of booking , they have policy of 10% restocking fees or someother name, but the staff was kind enough to waive of this 10% fees. So everyone please please prior to purchase make sure you have the exact dates , else will face the same issues similar to what i had to go through.Good luck

Don't waste your precious time or money. Ordered furniture in February, delivery keeps being pushed back. I've been living out of boxes and crates since then, and its almost June. Manager will not take my complaints, and the little twit who answered the phone, was rude, and "didnt like my tone."

Horrible service. Ordered furniture 6 months ago and still don't have it. Delivery was scheduled, and they never showed up. Rescheduled, they didn't show up again. No one picks up the phone in the store or in the warehouse. Save your time -- buy your furniture elsewhere.
Do not purchase here. You will have issues. Delivery gets "Stopped by PennDot weigh stations" and delivery dates will change day of. Once you have the product it will be broken and to have it fixed you need to wait 2 months for a third party company to determine what the malfunction is. Then approx 3 more months before it is "fixed." Needless to say it was never fixed and is still broken. Over 1 year in with a broken couch and they can not help but to offer me service in another 2 months. This is absurd.
Dining room table came in damaged on one corner and table leaf won't close due to the screw pulled out and one missing...now I can't get them to repair. Probably fixable but no calls back. They are very nice until they get your money then forget it. Done buying there.

We know what we wanted and Jarex came up to help us, very friendly and helpful. He took us to types of entertainment centers and we found the one we liked. As we were walking around with him we saw a reclining loveseat and picked that to. We got great deals because we went when they have beat the clock specials. We didn't know about that but what deals we got. I'll be going back if I need anything else.
We ordered furniture in February from the manager Niko. We were told April 12 delivery. We have called countless times and no one answers the phone. I am currently on the phone while it’s ringing for over 5 minutes. The corporate number says they have “no affiliation” with this store and could not help me. I called the Harrisburg store last week, they gave me an order update. This week they “have no way of doing it”. We spent thousands of dollars here. No one can tell us where our order is or answer the phone. The manager also no longer answers his phone.

I ordered a bed frame from this location approximately one year ago. This specific frame was for a queen size bed with storage underneath the frame. Two people, we are not large and a dog. A couple of months with the item, I noticed that the center of the mattress began to dip. I didn't think much of it at the time.. but eventually it got worse and When I looked underneath, I saw that the main bar running from the headboard to bottom had completely snapped. I was forced to stack books until I leveled out the bar. When I attempted to contact Ashley Furn, I was unable to reach anyone at the store or at their customer service line. I also attempted to email them and waited for a response. Nothing. I won't buy from Ashley anymore. Cheap furniture and poor customer service. Only two stars cause I liked the bed idea and design, but the execution was trash.

Were looking for a mid-tier sofa. While they have a large selection, of aesthetic options, there was nothing that was quite comfortable.
The absolute worst quality and customer service I have ever seen, Frame broke on the couch and the ottoman instantly looked like an in ground swimming pool, definitely not what I would expect after ordering in February and receiving furniture in late July. Ashley Refuses to replace and forced to work with some aftermarket “repair facility” that has no available dates. Customer service agent had no signs of empathy or willingness to help. One date was set and we took off work only for them to cancel, I would not recommend ever buying Ashley furniture.
I ordered a bed, it came with everything BUT the footboard. The footboard in fact is needed to put the bed completely together in case Eric Edward's the salesman needs reminded. "Nothing is free" Niko told me when I asked to have the footboard ordered for free considering I was ordering this bed and wanted the ENTIRE bed.

Brooke was incredible! Definitely seek her out if you are in and need help. She helped us order a sectional to our future apartment. This was our first time ever making such a big purchase, and Brooke made us feel comfortable and at ease through the process. She was really clear on all the details and was overall just a huge help!
I will never buy something from Ashley Home store again, it was our first big furniture purchase moving into our new home and I wish we would have looked online at the reviews before purchasing. The reviews here are honest, once you make the purchase Ashley does not care about the customer any longer. I was told multiple times I would be getting a credit on our purchase due to everything we went through and I now see what was just talk to get me off the phone. They do not keep you informed as the customer even when your delivery date changes 20+ times (I am not exaggerating this number). When you do call the store to get an update on your purchase they never answer their phone and I usually had to call 4-5 times throughout the day just to get someone to answer the phone. Some of the staff is helpful but the other half is snarky and does not take the conversation seriously. We bought our furniture Christmas 2020 and we told it would be delivered January 2021, then February 2021, March 2021 and finally it was delivered April 2021. Amazon does a better job at tracking my 5$ coffee filters than Ashely does my 2000$ couch. I still do not understand why this entire time they could tell me exactly where my couch was and what the hold up was. COVID is not an excuse for bad customer service, do better Ashley.
I recently purchased a house and was looking for a new bedroom suit and media center. Brooke really helped me find the best fit for my house and made the process as painless as possible. I will be sure to come back when I am looking to update more rooms.

Pay close attention to the details on the order before you sign it. I found the couch and color I wanted displayed in the store and the salesman placed the order. Three months later and the couch delivered was a different color. I showed the delivery driver the picture i took in the store of what I ordered but the delivery receipt had a different color listed. I found my receipt and sure enough they put in a different color than the floor model I told them I wanted. Still a nice couch but not the color I wanted and was told there wasn't anything I could do about it since I signed for it in the store.

Went to buy a bed set the sale lady came talked my grandma and I thru everything told us the bed set we where buying in the back room where the cheaper furniture is did in fact come with a mattress we asked this question multiple times . Bed set came about 2 months later to our surprise no mattress . The delivery people told us Ashley’s never know what their talking about and that in fact my mattress was comming. I called Ashley back and was told no returns or refund for all that I wouldn’t have bought a queen sized bed set when I have a full size bed . Won’t be back or buying ever again from here . Ending up having to pay another 750 else where for a mattress

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Purchased and picked up a very nicely packaged couch. Took it home and immediately unpackaged it to find two tears in it. Sent photos to the sales person I who told me the manager would call us the next day. 3 days pass before we get a call offering us a 25$ gift card. No option to replace the couch. Went into the store and spoke with Niko (store manager) and he told us all sales are final, there’s no exchanges or anything they would do. He then blamed us for damaging the couch and was extremely ignorant. Learn from our mistake and buy elsewhere!

Purchased a piece of furniture in November. They were not transparent regarding shipping time. Since then, shipping has been delayed numerous times. I’ll be lucky to get my furniture by end of March. I do not recommend. Avoid this place.
Karen was able to help me get all my furniture scheduled for delivery within the week. I.call her earlier this afternoon and she worked on it until 8 pm to get the warehouse delivery to work.

Do not recommend. We had been VC shoppers in the past and wanted to explore better quality options. We thought Ashley's was worth checking out. Sales person was knowledgeable and friendly. Ended up ordering new living room furniture and a bed frame (platform). We don't have space to have old and new furniture in our home so we sold our old pieces. They sold a lot faster than expected and due to Covid, deliveries have been delayed. No major issue....YET!Ashley's ended up scheduling a split delivery for us so we were able to receive a side chair and bed frame earlier than couch/loveseat. Took Friday off work for delivery...received a call that delivery is rescheduled to Sat. No major problem, a day off is always nice! And our mattress delivery was set for Saturday anyway. All is good. Well, bed frame delivery was a fail. Missing pieces. No clue when pieces will be available as of now. First they have to scan the returned pieces at the warehouse. A manager will give me a call in 72 +hours and they've made a note to make sure pieces are all there next time. Ummmm, thank you? Shouldn't that happen anyway?! We now have no bed! Can't sleep on a mattress (no box spring) on the floor! Ashley's could care less. Terrible customer service. Not a solution driven company. Once sale is done, customer service is done. Do not recommend.
Love these power recliners!! The guys assembled So does everyone that walks through the front door. It’s a great place to work as they have built in USB ports and the middle cushions fold down to a working from home made for ideal comfort. Here are the downsizes, I don’t recommend finance the app doesn’t sync well with Synchrony bank it’s a whole billing cycle ahead and sometimes behind the bank depending on time zone. Also Ashley’s doesn’t have or maintain their own shipping. buyer be ware it’s 3rd party. When they say 4 hour window it could be 8 or next day. In my case it was in stock but resold and delivered months later so because it delivered so late I was billed twice because it was financed and the delivery paperwork wasn’t reported with the correct purchase date . It appeared it delivered on the date it was in stock at the warehouse. I had to get this corrected I didn’t need or order 2 kitchen tables and was charged twice. I had to prove this was their error. If I had bought this outright then this would have omitted it the delivery going through the bank. This took awhile and to go back months worth of invoices and automations processes it’s a daunting process.
Deception. Lies. Theft. Rudeness. Irreparable damage. These are words that describe my most recent experience with Ashely’s Furniture and the harm they have caused me. Read my story and save yourself time, headache, hassle and damage to your credit bureau, by taking your business to another furniture store. For several weeks now, I have been trying to purchase a sectional. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 aka Coronavirus, almost every store is telling me 12 weeks before delivery. I really needed to get it between 6-8, so I have been shopping around. On January 16, 2021, I went to visit Ashley’s in Mechanicsburg, PA. I was greeted by Niko, who happens to be the General Manager of the store. Since all his sales people were busy, he offered to assist me. Ok, we are off to a good start. He showed me a couple of pieces and we finally came to one that I quite liked a lot. I had a good chat with him, he answered my questions, but the price point was at the high end of my budget. So I wanted to take a day to think about it. I asked Niko if I wanted to apply to finance, can I apply online or do I have to do that in store? Niko told me I could go to ashleyfurniture.com and apply directly there. He said they offer two companies, Synchrony and SNAP. Awesome! The following day, I opted to go to the website and decided I was going to purchase that sectional. I loaded the item in my cart and went to check out. One of the Chrome Apps I have gave me a nice discount code and took $200 off the price of the sectional, making my total around $1200 with delivery. I continued the process and it gave me an option to pay with financing. I clicked apply and it automatically took me to the Synchrony website. Synchrony is a very common finance company amongst furniture retail. However, for me personally, is not a company that I will ever do business with again due to their shady banking practices. I wanted to apply to SNAP. It was well passed 9pm at this time, so I couldn’t call anyone at the store. There was an online chat help though. I clicked on that and explained I wanted to complete my purchase but did not want to apply with Synchrony. I wanted to apply to SNAP. The chat rep. told me that was not possible. They explained that they have a “tear drop” system. You submit your application through Synchrony and if they do not approve you, then it automatically will go to SNAP for review. I explained that I did not want to do business with Synchrony and I certainly did not want to have two inquiries on my credit bureau. The representative explained that’s not how it works. They said that Synchrony will pull credit. If they do not approve you, then SNAP will review it but SNAP does not pull credit so I will only have one inquiry. This was very frustrating. Why is it set up this way? The rep. could not give me any further answers. Now, I am stuck. If I want to make this purchase, I either follow the rep’s instructions or go without. My frustration with the process of shopping had definitely peaked, so I decided to bite the bullet and just apply. I put my application in. I expected to get a flat decline, but that’s not what happened. Instead I got an “error message”. It stated that “more information was required to process my application and an Ashely’s rep. would be in touch.” I get a notification on my phone that Synchrony has accessed my credit bureau. The next day is MLK day. I don’t expect to hear from anyone. I get it. It’s a holiday, even if retail is open. Tuesday the 19th comes and no call. So I reached out to Niko in mid-afternoon. I explained what happened and he said he would check to see where my application was. Unfortunately, he said he did not have it and it was not in Ashley’s system. This was very concerning. I already got notification of the inquiry. Where is my application with all my private sensitive information like social security number, date of birth, etc.!??!!? Niko did not think it was a big deal. He asked that I call into the store and ask them to send me the link to SNAP and I could just apply there. But what about my other application? Niko didn’t know what to say about that and pressured me to just apply to SNAP. I did call over to the store to ask for this link and spoke to Matthew. Matthew didn’t know what Niko meant by that. He asked for my information and he tried to pull my application up, but he also could not find it. He instructed me to call SNAP’s corporate line and speak to them. I spoke to SNAP and they explained they did not have the application either. I told them what had happened and about the “tear drop system” and this is where we encounter LIES. SNAP tells me that there is no “tea drop system” at Ashley’s. They said that if I applied at Synchrony…then the application went to them and SNAP does not get it. So I asked him about a credit inquiry. The SNAP rep. said they absolutely pull credit. It’s a soft pull, not a hard pull though. DECEPTION. SNAP tells me that I better get a hold of someone at Ashley’s and also lets me know that unfortunately, I am not the first person to tell him that Ashley’s reps are telling people this. They simply want to get every application they can. Throw it up against the wall and hope it sticks mentality. So I call back to Niko. Now I am getting voicemail. I leave him around 3 VMs over the next 3 days and still no response back. Instead I get a call from Elena, who turns out is one of the store manager’s at Ashley’s in Mechanicsburg, PA. She says she was told about my problem and wants to help. She instructs me to come to the store and fill out another application. WHAT!?!? How does that help with being tricked into putting an application that I specifically said I did NOT want to submit online so I can come and repeat the process? She clearly has not been explained what has happened. So I tell her what happens. At this point, she becomes defensive. She tells me that Ashleyfurtniture.com and the Ashley’s I am talking to are not the same. She claims they are but a small business that sells Ashely’s furniture and not the same as the website. She is but a franchise. I get it. But to the naked eye…to the consumer who does not know the dynamic, they see the Ashley’s logo on the store and same logo on the website. They carry virtually the same furniture, made by Ashley’s and nothing else….what conclusion is the consumer supposed to draw? Furthermore, if this is true…why is the General Manager telling me to apply online? If you are not one in the same…by doing this, haven’t you just sent your customer to the corporate site to purchase from them and now you will receive no credit for the sale? What kind of business model is this? The level of concern from both corporate and the store level are absolutely pathetic. They simply do not care. The only thing they want to talk about is me buying furniture. I explained that if I did not get satisfactory resolution to this, I will contact my attorney and take legal action. Elena refused to take any responsibility. Instead she started to point the finger at corporate, telling me it’s their fault and the store has nothing to do with it. She said, it’s not fair to include them in any legal action. She goes onto explain that it’s not Ashley’s fault at all because the people who run the chat are “foreigners from India who do not work for Ashley’s and are subcontracted”. What their exact position is or is not with Ashley’s is irrelevant. They are representing Ashley’s company when they are responding to those messages. Perhaps, instead of being cheap about it and sending jobs from the US to foreign countries and paying a pittance of a wage….you may not have this issue had you paid a living wage to Americans, right here in the United States. Nonetheless, you chose to do what you did and now you live with the consequences of said actions. You make it right! Except, no one seems to care to do that. The amount of smug arrogance and back peddling and finger pointing is disgusting! RUDENESS. The situation is only further aggravated when Elena tells me that this inquiry hasn’t really hurt my credit. She tells me it dropped my score by 3 points and that if I pay everything on time, next month it will go up. Clearly, we have someone that has NO IDEA how credit reports work…which is ok, because most folks do not. But you shouldn’t be speaking on or advising on something you do not know about. And secondly, she clearly demonstrates that math is not her strongest suit. First, the credit bureaus statement. While she is correct, an inquiry doesn’t plummet ones score…places have min. FICO scores. 1 point off…you aren’t qualified, end of story. So you cannot say 3 points means nothing. That’s false. Secondly, paying your bills on time every single month doesn’t guarantee an increase in score. I haven’t missed a payment on anything in 20 years…my score fluctuates all the time, month in and month out. I had a credit card balance that increased and I got a notification my score has dropped. A couple of months ago, I paid of $10,000 in credit card balances…my score dropped over 20 points. Second, her math. So let’s assume her simplistic comparison is legit. 3 points loss for the inquiry and lets even say I pay my bills on time…I get a +3. -3 + 3= 0. A net of 0. BUT, if I didn’t have the inquiry in the first place then I would be +3. So I am still 3 points less than where I should be. This seemed to mean absolutely nothing to Elena, she dismissed this idea. IRREPARABLE DAMAGE. I explained that the level of concern from the people at her store is just as disturbing as the deception and lies. If I was on the other end, I would be trying to figure out what can I do to make things right for this customer. I know I cannot remove the inquiry, which would be the most satisfactory for the customer. But what can I do? You could start by trying to compensate the error by offering a discount of some sort. You get a sale. You compensate the consumer. It’s a win/win. Furniture has a 500% markup. Yes, you are reading that correctly. It’s not twice the price they pay…its 500%!! It is what it is. It’s the world we live in. Though it makes you wonder how these furniture stores are going bankrupt all the time. But I digress. Clearly, the ability to offer a discount will not cause your company to lose money. Elena says she can do that is willing to put me on her VIP list and get me free delivery. So you think $150 is what this deceiving lie is worth. I’m sorry; we aren’t even playing the same sport. I told her that if I buy straight from the website, the price is $200 less online with the coupon. So buying from her actually causes me to pay $50 more. She says she has to talk to her General Manager to see what else can be done. She puts me on hold to get a pen and paper. About 15 minutes later, another man picked up the phone and asked if he could help. I explained I was on hold for Elena, as she was grabbing a pen and paper. The gentleman told me that Elena is now busy dealing with an upset customer. I said I was the upset customer. He told me, I was just one of the upset customers. Oh? This sounds promising. The man took my contact information and said that the GM comes in the next day, 1/22/21, and he will call between 9-11am with numbers. The next day comes and I receive no call between 9-11am. I try calling in the evening around 5pm to follow up and leave a message for Elena. No return call back. I call again around 8pm. She is still busy. Left a message and no call back. I try once again on 1/23 and the lady who picked up the phone sounded puzzled saying she had taken my messages and gave them to Elena and surprised she did not call back. I’m not. Clearly, this is the level of service you can expect from the people at the Mechanicsburg location and Ashley’s overall. So now I needed to reach out to Ashley’s corporate. I tried on 1/25, but trying to find a phone number on their website for customer service is relatively impossible. So I hit the chat and they gave me a number to call. But, corporate closes at 5pm so I have to try the next day. On 1/26, I spent over 4 hours on the phone with numerous departments of Ashley’s corporate. It took over 15 mins of automated prompts to finally reach customer service. As I am explaining what transpired, the phone goes silent. I start saying hello, hello and find I am on hold now and I have been transferred to the escalation department. The rep did not even allow me to finish or let me know that they were transferring me. Once I reach escalation, I explain what just happened and what transpired and it’s the same thing. Phone is silent and I have been transferred without anyone telling me this. They transferred me back to customer service. Once I am back in customer service, I tell this person what is going on and tell them to not transfer me without talking to me first. They say they need to transfer me to escalation. OMG! So they transfer me. I get to escalation and they explain that its customer service issue. MORE FINGER POINTING! I told them not to transfer me back to customer service. They won’t help. They said they can try one more spot and that was to Ashley’s corporate office. Except when I am transferred, I get transferred to the warehouse for distribution. They can’t help so they transfer me to Synchrony. Synchrony can’t help, so they transfer me back to Ashley’s customer service. They can’t help so I am transferred to customer relations. This is where frustration finally boils over for me. I press 0 for the operator and explain the situation. She tells me that they do not have a department that can handle this. This is something I need to talk to Synchrony about. No, it is not. Synchrony isn’t who deceived me. They didn’t lie to me. Their customer service isn’t pitiful. I ask to speak to a manager. She puts me on hold and then hangs up on me. Rinse repeat and I get back to customer relations, except it just rings and then they hang up on me immediately. Repeat. Same thing. I try this 5 times and every time I press 0, it rings and someone picks up and hangs up. I finally block my caller ID and call back and this time, they pickup. SHOCKER! This is the runaround and blatant disrespect that you can expect from this company that out sources American jobs to foreign countries to save a buck while charging 500% margins on furniture! I finally reach someone who actually is trying to help. The first person. When she transfers me, she stays on the line to ensure I am getting help. Sadly, we never reach anyone that can help. I can’t recall the last department that we get to, but this person says they will have to email the finance department to explain what happened and someone would call me back in 48 hours. When I asked for a phone number to follow up or an email address, I’m told they don’t have one. Then how are you emailing them? He says they cannot give that information out. So after 4 hours of the nonsense I have endured, you are telling me that I have no ability to follow up when they do not call back. That is correct he says. I had finally reached wits end with corporate. They clearly were not going to lift a finger. So I went back to calling the General Manager. I explained what I had endured with the corporate and how Elena gave me the run around and refused to return calls. Niko tells me he will have a talk with her, because that is not acceptable and asks how he can make it right. I explain to him about offering a discount. Niko tells me he can do that. He is going to work up some numbers and call me back on 1/27. By 5pm on 1/27, I hear nothing so I call Niko and leave a message. No response. I call again on 1/28. Niko tells me that he got swamped and is still is working on it. He promises me that he will have them on 1/29. I call him midafternoon on 1/29 and leave a message. He calls me back a few hours later and gives me the numbers. The numbers he is giving me are $200 MORE THAN ASHLEY’s WEBSITE!!!! THEFT!!!! So after all this runaround, all the rudeness, failed return calls, deception, lies…THIS is what you offer?! He tells me that he is a small business and corporate has better prices. So if you are someone who is still not convinced not to do business with Ashley’s…at least know NOT to buy on the store level. Just go online and purchase from the website and save yourself a couple hundred dollars. Needless to say, I did not accept his offer. I never got the return call from the finance department, as expected. So now, I am leaving this review to help other consumers so they are not duped, have their credit scores damaged and waste their time and money with a company that puts profits ahead of customers, refuses to compensate for their mistakes, takes customers over the barrel in pricing and out sources American jobs in foreign countries to save buck. This is Ashley’s Furniture. Do yourself the favor and save the aggravation…take your business elsewhere before you become the next victim of Ashley’s Furniture.
When we first walked in the store and saw the price disparity between store and online pricing we just about walked out the door. Then Kyle Horston (from the management team I think) came to our aid. He not only got us the online price he's also working on getting our chair's replacement part via GBS extended warranty provider. Now we don't have our new sofa yet (that will taking about 6 to 8 weeks) BUT if the sofa is as well constructed as the management team in store is, I'm not worried.

I had a fantastic experience and great sales are happening with labor day! My associate was Peggy she was excellent, I explored the store, she answered all my questions and got my order placed. I also found a unique leopard print tree to go with my new furniture. The whole team was really great, friendly and efficient.
Horrible experience! Awful customer service after the sale. Communication is nonexistent! They canceled part of my order and won't give me my money back. This is going on 5 months. Corporate office is just as bad. They give you phone numbers that don't exist and tell you to go back to the store. The store wont help you
Horrible after sale experience! Can not get a straight answer for any of my questions. Bought furniture in September and still can't get the chair. Found out it was cancelled. Now they don't want to refund the full amount. Communication has been nonexistent! Would not recommend them to anyone!!

Salesman told us our table would be in 1-2 weeks prior to Christmas. It was no big deal if it wasn’t, it just effected when we we’re going to buy it. Had the salesman ask when it would most likely be in. Once we paid they told us at the front desk it would most likely be in after Christmas. A little more than a week after Christmas, and still no table. Just don’t like to be deceived.

They do not follow up when their furniture is defective. We bought a sofa in March and have not been able to get them to repair for 10 months. Jaffa the repair men out and each said it should have been replaced but the store refuses to give us a couch that is acceptable. Very bad Customer Service.

Purchased furniture December 6, at the Carlisle Pike store that was closing. Got a great deal and was assured several times by the salesman that I could leave it there since I was moving. I got a call to come pick it up a few days later, I called spoke with someone asked her to have mgr call me and explained my agreement with the salesman. He never called back. I tried again, busy, told the young man the situation, never called back. On December 15, they sold my sofa!!! I also spoke with the new store trying to figure it out, they told me that my furniture was there. I At no time did they say hey we know you own the 3 pieces of furniture but we are selling one and oh to bad!!! I have spoken with the store mgr and the company headquarters in Philadelphia no help. Got refund they say they are not responsible. So here I sit in my new apartment with no furniture. NOT HAPPY, NOT DONE. Sorry to say I don’t seem to be the first this has happened to. How can anyone sell my furniture??? 2020 I’m done
People were great and helpful! Had to change couch order due to not having it in stocks so scare of color I got but it's comfortable hopefully rest of stuff comes quickly. I'll update later.

Alicia asked us what we were looking for and I told her my heartbreaking tale of finding something at Ashley’s in August 2 weeks after it had been discontinued and going on a wild goose chase trying to find something similar or that item anywhere. She looked and found ONE dresser in a second warehouse and was able to get something worked out with the manager to make sure if it wasn’t to satisfaction I could return it. I have been to Ashley’s multiple times since august to look for similar items and no other employee has ever done what she did to check on the availability of this dresser. She went above and beyond what was asked of her and I am extremely happy with my visit at Ashley’s due to her.
My boyfriend and I went into they Ashley’s on the Carlisle pike. We got there around 8pm. We were looking to upgrade our couch. Kyle, our salesman, was the only employee in the store and was assisting another customer. We looked around and ended up finding a couch and loveseat that we liked. After sitting around waiting for Kyle for about 45 minutes he finally came over to us. We took him over and sat on the couch that we were interested in. He worked out a great deal for us and we decided to purchase the set. A couple days later I was reviewing the receipt and noticed that our couch color was listed as ‘chocolate’ when the couch we were sitting on was grey, ‘fog’, actually to be correct. So I gave the store a call and asked them to switch the color to ‘fog’ before the couch was ordered in the wrong color. The lady on the phone, Bradley, was very kind and gladly switched the color for me. Around an hour later my boyfriend calls me and tells me that Niko, the supposed sales manager, called him and told him that the couch that Kyle had sold to us was in fact not the couch that we were wanting. (I am not sure how they figured this out, I believe my boyfriend was able to read off the skew from a picture of the tag that he had taken) The couch that he had sold us was not only in the wrong color, it was not reclining and actually discontinued. I then gave Niko a call back that same day to figure the situation out. Niko explained to me the situation and also informed me that the couch that we actually wanted and thought we were buying was $500 more. I was a bit taken aback as they would not budge and were firm on wanting to charge us extra money for a mistake that their salesman made. Niko was very respectful and apologetic and kind to me on the phone. I then made the decision to pay the extra $500 which ended up being more like $650. But as we thought about the situation more and was explaining it to my boyfriends step mom we ultimately decided that it was wrong for them to get to charge us $650 extra for a mistake that was not our fault at all. We called back in and ended up on the phone with, ,who also claimed to be a manager. We explained the situation to her and she was rude, dismissive, unapologetic, and disrespectful to myself, my boyfriend, and his stepmom. While explaining the situation to her she had actually set the phone down and was talking with other associates that were there. (We heard the phone get set on the desk and heard their conversations) Instead of trying to help us, she blamed us for signing for the wrong couch, and just tried to get us off the phone. She didn’t care if she kept the sale or not. We all felt like she would have actually preferred us to just cancel so she didn’t have to deal with the situation anymore. This was a very clear bait and switch sales tactic that was used on us, which to mention is illegal, because we are young kinds and they thought they could screw us over and we wouldn’t know any better. It is very obvious that the people working for Ashley’s don’t care about their customers, or really about making the sale. They are such a big corporation that any mistake they make doesn’t matter, and they don’t care if you cancel or not because they are just making so much. And the customer service is terrible. You have a lady supposedly running this store who is so disrespectful and rude. I will never buy from Ashley’s again, for this reason.
I hope I’m able to change (or delete) this recommendation very soon. But at the moment ... Two days ago, I didn’t think I could be happier with the bedroom and living room suites I bought from Ashley Furniture. Today, I think I’m probably just a chump. I was told I’d hear from someone by now. As far as I can tell, the problem is NOT the local store personnel. But the local store is where I paid in full last September, and where the commitments were made that the company has failed to honor.
Buyers be aware, this store has changed delivery date at least 6 times with no notification. Management is not being held accountable for lack of communication. Original date was October, it is now December and still no couch. Item was paid for in September. This is not how they used to run their stores!!
They advertised a couch online but could not purcahse online. Said to go to store so we did. It was at the store they would not price match. Called customer service and got the runaround was placed on hold twice for 20 minutes each time and still no answer. I guess we will buy our sofas somewhere else.
We did not purchase anything while stopping in, but Dakota was extremely professional and gave us space. We didn't not feel pressured to purchase anything today. There were a couple other sales associates that stopped and made sure we didn't have any questions, but also did not pressure us or make us feel uncomfortable. Over all there was some really nice items to choose from as we browsed and the prices seemed reasonable.
Unable to give a clear delivery date. I've been waiting for 2 months and still waiting. I'm just going to cancel my order and shop somewhere else. I will never stop in an Ashley Furniture store again
We ordered a sectional, ottoman and chair in mid August. We were advised that it would take longer than usual to receive the sectional due to extended shipping times related to Covid, and we could expect delivery around mid October. Near that time, we called for an update and were told that our ETA for the sectional had been extended to November. After a couple of weeks, we called for another update and we were given a new ETA of December for the sectional. We were also told that we wouldn’t receive the ottoman until February. The chair was in the warehouse, but wouldn’t be delivered until the other items were available. We requested to cancel the ottoman as we found another supplier that had the item in stock. When we requested an email confirming the cancellation of the ottoman, we were told we wouldn’t receive one, but the ottoman would definitely be cancelled. After a couple of weeks, my husband visited the store and was given yet another ETA of January 2021 for the sectional, and the ottoman order was not yet cancelled. Had we known that it would take 5 months (or possibly more) to receive the sectional, we would have never ordered it in the first place.
The individual in the store was helpful; however, it has been impossible to get any information on delivery, no responses or return calls and now when calling the new number provided you can't get thru to talk to anyone. Will never shop at Ashely again.
We purchased our first bedroom set in over 37 years of marriage. The solid mango wood set was over $4,000. Soon after we could not shut drawers on the chest of drawers. We contacted Ashley because we purchased the extra protection. COVID hit and there was an understandable delay in a technician to come out to fix. We were told that the chest itself was warped. He said we needed a new one. Ashley’s called and said new drawers were on their way. We told them twice that that was the incorrect part. They sent them anyway and a technician came again and said the same thing. Now Ashley’s claims that they no longer have the set!! They offered for us to keep the chest and get a $200 credit. The drawers don’t close and there was wood putty that broke off! Then they said that they would pick up the chest and give a credit for over $1,000. What good does that do when we can’t match the chest?! This is unacceptable! We told them that we want a full refund or a new comparable solid wood set. They refused. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY HOME STORES!

I picked up my brand new dresser in a box, after waiting over 6 weeks, and the bottom of it is cracked, I called to see what we could do and they told me I already took it home, and I should of looked over the product before leaving the store. Who thinks to look over a product that is brand new. They have awful customer service too.
Purchased an overpriced couch two and a half years ago and the warranty they sell that “covers everything”. I have filed 3 claims for broken pieces, yet only one was covered under the warranty (the one the “covers everything”). Even the Ashley repair tech said the original construction was shotty. My most recent claim was because the connection track for my sectional pulled out. It was denied because “tracks are not listed as a covered item”. Decide to repair it myself after the store said they couldn’t do anything bc it was denied. They put the T-Nuts on the wrong side of the frame which is why they pulled out. Definitely unimpressed. WOW. The bogus reply is probably one of the worst. Considering I tried to come in to the store to purchase replacement cushions and couldn't get actual pricing, I was told they'd "email me pricing" and here I sit four weeks later, no pricing. Horrible experience. Horrible quality. Horrible customer service. And then you have the audacity to post "We re committed...and hope you give us another chance" SERIOUSLY???????? Why don't you try taking some customer service lessons from Chewy, or Amazon, or any actual reputable company!
Was recommended a horrible couch that fell apart after only a year. Saleswoman pushed us in the direction of this piece of junk. They only want your money and don’t care about ensuring you made a good purchase.
I've spent a considerable amount of time on Ashley's website looking at sectional sofas and had some choices narrowed down. My bf and I stopped in so I could look at some in person and talk to a sales person. I honestly thought the store might have been closed because it was so empty, but we walked around and saw 3 sales people. 1 was talking to customers in the back, the other 2 were at desks in different areas of the store. No one greeted us, even though they all clearly saw us. I assumed maybe they were busy (obviously the sales person already talking to customers was) so we walked around some more, sat on some couches. Even looked at the mattresses because we've talked about upgrading to a new one with an adjustable base. We were in the store for about 20 minutes, within clear view of the 2 sales guys sitting at desks. We were not acknowledged, approached, or spoken to. So we left. I don't know if it's because we're young? Or that we were dressed like we'd been working in the yard (which we had), but I got a Pretty Woman esque vibe like we weren't worth their time. We're happy to take our money for a sectional and mattress (plus adjustable base) somewhere that values customers.
Great service. Salesman worked with us and even matched another store's price on a similar piece. We were very happy. Very helpful at the pick up location as well. Update: Although the people were very nice, the furniture has not lasted. The fabric is just fraying apart for no real reason. Very disappointed. With 1 adult child living with us and this furniture located in a secondary living room/den, we expected it to last many years. It looks terrible. I'm going over to see if the store will help us replace it in any way.

Went to the Hbg location-never again,which is why we ended up going back to Mechanicsburg. Nico got us what we wanted,paperwork done and out the door in about 20 mins! He made spending $2500.00 seem so easy! Lol! AND, my order is already on the way! Nico really came through for us and made the Ashley experience at the Mechanicsburg store absolutely wonderful! A BIG thank you to Nico!!!!!
I went to Ashley HomeStore with a friend to help him shop for a couch. We were met by Niko, one of the managers, and he was very helpful throughout the entire process! We left there that day with several options in mind, the dimensions of our top selections (we forgot to take dimensions of the room before we came) and a good relationship with the staff. On our way out, I noticed a coffee and end table set I wanted for my own house. I took photos to show my husband and we stopped in later that week to place the order. It was promptly shipped to the store. When we got it home, one of the tempered glass pieces was broken. We contacted the store and they worked with us to get a new piece. They were very easy to work with, and the replacement piece was shipped fast.
They should just have a no refund policy I was not told by the salesperson that you can not return it if you do not like the bed unless you pay a 30% restocking fee I will never shop there again and will never refer anyone there either

We were just in over the weekend and Spoke with the sales associate Logan he was very personable and helpful. He was quick with answers to our question and quick to get an answer he didn’t know off the top of his head. We never felt like he was trying to push anything on us, he just gave us the info. to make a decision. After Logan got us all wrapped up, Jasmin helped finalize everything set up shipping and quickly answered our remaining questions with a smile.
Had some bad experiencing with furniture bought from Ashley's and just simply will not be back, from communication problems to the sales people being a bit too...sales people...you know the drill. I switched to value city and will not be back.

Our experience has been awful. Absolutely awful. Cancelled order. However, after being assured all was taking care of and cancelled. They forgot to cancel delivery. Delivery truck driver damaged our yard by driving off pavement. Absolutely, the worst experience!

Well to begin what a breath of fresh air this store and manager Niko is compared to the union deposit store, where I called aand ask some questions a rude person named Dominique hung up on me, witch in turn took me and my friend to the Carlisle store, and such a pleasure to shop there, I bought a living roo. Set and my bought not one but 2 bedroom sets, from Niko, big lost for union deposit store, Dominique is not good for business! So thank u Niko!!!🥰🥰🥰

Our salesman, Peter, was excellent. He made sure of what our needs were and showed us what would best fit them. He could have shown us the most expensive or others that were higher but, he didn't. He had us try the two he thought would be the best a d we bought the Bradbury. We went to other furniture stores who tried to sell us something out of our price range and left right away. Peter made this whole experience pleasurable. I would recommend Peter and Ashley's Furniture to anyone seeking honesty a d good selection. The only down side a d reason not a five star is it will take aabou 6 weeks to get our furniture.
Purchased a bookcase. Gave me the wrong color. When exchanged, gave me a different cheaper bookshelf that was also on sale at the time.. still in the wrong color. When I contacted them again, I was told I was unable to return it since it was a special order sale. I never did get refunded the price between the model I paid for and the one I received. I'm sure it was an honest mistake, but that still doesn't mean I'll ever go back or recommend the store that clearly has a disorganized stockroom.

Horrible experience at Ashley store Mechanicsburg PA. I had to cancel my order of $9k because the manager almost cheated me of $700. When I thought I was being credited for overcharging me; instead, he spread the credit amount to my total purchase. Awful!

My salesman, Peter, was extremely helpful when I was looking for a sofa. He explained an option that was not in the brochure and this made it possible for me to buy the sofa I really wanted. He was also engaging and pleasant to talk to going over carefully all the details including delivery.
Nikko is great to work with and appreciate his suggestions and thoughts. We have made several visits to purchase furniture and always ask for him. Great job Nikko. Conversely which has nothing to do with Niko, our first purchase took over 2.5 months to come in from the time we had ordered it in the store. We were not happy about that and hope our current order comes in within the 4-6 weeks promised. Ashley needs to improve in this aspect.
I wish I could give negative stars. the delivery system is a joke. we were told 3 different dates, the lady who answers the phone there needs fired, she has a attitude about everything, and then lies about calling people..we are now being told not till the new year. we bought our couch in the beginning of November.. I would not recommend this place to anyone..

I have found this store to be an easy place to shop for furniture. We needed to replace our kitchen chairs and found some quickly. Our salesperson Peter was great to work with. He was easy going, not pushy and listened to what we needed. He was able to get us an even better price than advertised. This always our first stop for basic furniture.

Well team at Ashley HomeStore on the Carlisle Pike, you asked for a review so here it is, but before I begin allow me to say I chose a box store to have access to customer service and support its existence. Now here's my story and perhaps it will actually result in a response. When we came to the store you had a DIFFICULT TIME DOING THE MATH on the furniture we tried to purchase. You also claimed it wouldn't reach the total amount for the free shipping promotion when it actually exceeded it. Your furniture is priced much CHEAPER WITH YOUR ONLINE STORE with all of the same perks, to which we had to call you on to get a comparable price after informing you we were going to CANCEL OUR PURCHASE. You got the price close, so we stayed with you. It took two weeks for the furniture to come in/get delivered (seems fair). I took a day off from work and waited for your delivery crew to show. They were nice, but their ability to communicate wasn't great. . . especially when it was discovered that they brought the WRONG BED. My receipt shows the correct purchase and their delivery form showed something different, so they took the wrong furniture with them leaving me with half the bedroom set. They put me on the phone with someone at the warehouse who informed me I needed to take the issue up with the store. NOT HELPFUL. After trying to understand what I was to do now and figure out what BED MY CHILD WAS TO SLEEP ON since we already disassembled and removed the other bed, I began to notice the POOR QUALITY of the furniture you sold me/delivered. I could get past the warehouse dirt, but the wood tops have NICKS, the SHELVES ARE CROOKED, it's POORLY PAINTED, the PAINT HAS CRACKED LINES, the paint of the corners is SCUFFED OFF, carrier straps wore the paint off in prominent spots, it has WIDE GAPS IN CORNER JOINTS, and so on. More importantly, I'M STILL WITHOUT A BED. So I call the store and explain the situation and the instructions I received from the warehouse. I ask for a manager but your staffer, whom seem puzzled by what I explained, said she would have the manager call me back. So I waited. . . for five hours until I CALLED YOU AGAIN just before closing. Your staffer said she and the manager were going to DISCUSS IT TOMORROW and figure out how to move forward. Remember in the beginning of the story I noted supporting a box store for customer service. . . something you touted when we mentioned we could purchase the same furniture online cheaper? NO ONE AT THE STORE CAN TALK ME THROUGH THIS?!?! You have my money and took half the furniture and no one can call me back today. Well. . . now you can come get the other half - when I'm available, because time is money and you're wasting mine - and give me all of my money back. I'LL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. You're probably going to inform me of the separation between the store and a supplier and the warehouse and the delivery. I don't care. You're all profiting from it. You thought my wife was upset when she saw the price differences after we purchased it from you. . . now you have both of us unhappy. I'm sure we will talk tomorrow.

Go somewhere else. These people don&'t know there own policies. We ordered 2 couches. Had to get them from the store because they told us they don&'t deliver that far. ? After our couches came in they called several times to let us know. The finance girl was rude to tell us bring your own help, we don&'t load when our salesperson, Peter, very nice guy told us they would help load. 3 day&'s before to go and get our couches they called to let us know they would deliver them. We already made plans to pick them up. They would deliver because our bill was more than $2000.00. But we couldn&'t get our couches till we paid another $39.00 to make our bill less than $2000.00. This makes no sense at all it was actually stupid. We we&'re planning on buying 2 large ottomans, 3 end tables and a headboard. We will be buying those elsewhere. Don&'t need the hassle.

My husband and I are moving into our new home and we were looking for a dinning room set. We went to Ashley&'s furniture on 09/04/2019 around 7pm with the intention of buying one since we already search their website and knew what we wanted, but unfortunately upon entering the store no one greeted us even though we were the only ones there and the two young ladies looked at us without saying anything. We continued to walk throughout the store and still no one said anything. This is unfortunate, I&'ve bought furniture here a few years back and I had a great experience. I hope the owners are aware of this situation due to loosing businesses because I will never go back.

PARENTS BEWARE!!!!!!!! DON&'T BUT CHILDREN BED FRAME FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. We purchased our bed from Ashley furniture, there was none in stock to see in person so the sales associate had us go to her computer screen in the office to purchase from them. We selected the B212-84/87 ( on April 3rd) mind you, you can find the same B212 online for half the price but that was after the fact and my husband said purchasing local always better option they take care of their clients. When the order finally arrived in May I called to let them now there is a 3 inch gap at the bottom of the bed from the mattress. My 4 year old fits herself between the mattress and frame ( I can fit my own leg in too). Since June its been a back and forth discussion with them. I&'ve told them from a safety point their is going to be a child who falls through the crack and their going to break a leg and a lawsuit will be coming their way.So long story short I&'m to split the difference so that her pillows can fall from the top and they are doing nothing about it. I&'m Glad to see local business not caring about safety of children and fall back that&'s how its made. ( I&'ve even asked to have the bed cut by a carpenter and that they just refund me the cost of the carpenter but I was told no)Ashley furniture you will not be getting any of my business ever again your customer care is very poor!!!
If I could give them less then this star? It would be fitting. Service were rude. Delivery... good luck with that .Schedule delivery day,got my day off they didn't show up and no phone call. Second time was the same again, I called,the lady was over the phone was mean and rude. I ask to the talk to Manage, she told me she was the only person there. I was think of cancel all my order, she told me I'll get 30%of my money back. No other choice I have to take off another work day for them to delivery my furnitures. Never buy things for them again!

Horrible, just horrible. The customer service is beyond bad. Ive been on hold with their &"customer service&" department for the past 20 min. No one seems to know where my delivery is. I would strongly discourage people from dealing with these people. The local store is no help, and the corporate avenue is just as useless. I do not think I will be purchasing anything from these people again as this has been a nightmare. They were very quick to bill me the 150 dollars extra for the delivery, but not so quick to answer the phone, give any updates on the delivery.

Sure, I guess I could recommend, BUT BE AWARE that the prices they give you are exorbitantly high on purpose. They will price-match their own website, but they do not outright tell you this. Do your research first before you make any purchases. Pete sold us the items at high prices, and thankfully Niko a few days later was able to honor their own website prices after the purchase was made. They will tell you the store was bought by a regional company, but in the end, Ashley HomeStore is Ashley HomeStore. No reason prices should vary that significantly!!!!
I went into Ashley's looking for a new bedroom set. When I walked in the door, a lovely lady named Barbara greeted me. She was extremely helpful and patient as I looked around. With Barbara's help, I ended up with a bedroom set that was in my price range and that I am absolutely in love with! Thank you Barbara!!

The Mechanicsburg location off the Carlisle Pike worked so nicely with us! They did not push us to buy anything and we're not in our face when we first walked in. We needed to get some chest of drawers for our new home. We wanted to keep the furniture that we had in our bedrooms and this meant working a little more closely with colors, style, etc. Barbara helped us out and things turned out great. She was helpful with suggestions and patient on the occasions we had to double check measurements and other details. We’ve worked with this store in the past and they’re quite good about listening to customers and helping with no pressure to make a sale. Great job—thanks again.
Online low prices are not consistent with their high store prices. However, I give four stars because the staff working in the store were very upfront and honest about this, and told me flat out that they try to make customers pay at least $1000 to start, for any piece of furniture in the store. Very deceptive prices. Very honest staff. I give an A for honesty. :)

First home purchase awesome check. Now no furniture, but do we have to deal with sales people that love to stalk you as if you’re in a horror movie....i hope not. My wife and I took a chance when I came home from work/travel to Ashley furnature in Mechanicsburg, Pa. Mr. Alex Glensemer initially greeted us at the door but not immediately. So off to a cool nice not so Intrusive start. My wife bolts away as i try to say hi and deflect so she doesn’t get irritated. He was short and to the point to say hey we are having a little sale let me know if you need anything. That was all. So ok carried on and found some nice couches and tables along with a bed. The bed is what sold us to make a purchase because no one was following us to distract us from finding something we need/want. We found the hybrid matress we wanted and said Mr. Alex we would like to ask a question about differences and he then answered them nicely. He was smart and not over powering with sales pitch. I felt very comfortable just like when I purchase a car from Audi very in control to make my decision and tell him what my needs are and he listened and didn’t stretch to make a sale. After this he explained we were to save a little bit more if we decided to purchase something else today so we found a dining room table that happened to be priced right and perfect as a set and we said this will do. So not only did we find two key pieces of funature we needed we had an amazing experience with what we know will have no buyers remorse and we feel very happy with our purchase. Thank you for being polite, accommodating and very knowledgeable of your products. Simple quick and to the point sale. Amazing thank you.

I really love Ashley staff. Very informative but low pressure. I made 2 stops into the store. First stop, I was doing info gathering, seeing what I liked, etc. Nico was awesome to work with... Got me all the info I needed and really showed an interest in finding the right sofa for me. On my 2nd visit 2 weeks later, he remembered more of our prior conversation than I did... Lol... So he knew exactly what questions to ask when I was placing my order! Everyone on the staff was super friendly and helpful. They were even awesome about honoring their online special that day! I bought my current sofa from Ashley over 15 years ago... I'm happy to say that the company is still delivering great customer service. Delivery guys were quick, clean, super polite... Rounding up on a year now... still looking good... super comfy.... definitely worth the $$.

I was at two different Ashley Furniture stores and the experience I had was night and day. I visited the York store and would have given it zero stars if I could. We went in the store to purchase a couch we saw online. We were treated horrible. The salesman asked us if we would mind waiting because he was currently helping a couple who was purchasing a lot more than we were. (I was in shock he would make a comment like that) and then when I asked about if they matched their online prices he told us that it was probably going to be about $50-$100 more because "they have to keep the electricity on in the building" Those were his EXACT WORDS. Then when he called in Tracy for finance questions she was very short with us. Saying that what I saw online wasn't correct and after showing her my online cart on my phone she said if we found it online cheaper we could "by all means go buy it online" She was extremely rude. We were not condescending or snarky by any means and only asking questions we had concerns about. My husband and I ended up walking out. I really wanted the couch and decided to give it another try at the Mechanicsburg location. WOW! So different and much better!! We were greeted by Peter Glatz who really helped us out. We asked the same questions at that location as we had done in York and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. If he wasn't sure he went and checked for us. He matched the online price without any inflation or mention of "keeping the electricity on." While we were waiting for paperwork, even the delivery guy, delivering stock items, asked how we were doing and if someone had helped us. It was 100% better at the Mechanicsburg location and I highly recommend Peter to help you with your purchase. DO NOT SHOP YORK, go to Mechanicsburg if you want a great experience!
