Ashley Store Montgomeryville, PA

Went here to buy a mattress. While I appreciated the quality of the items, not one employee greeted me throughout of the course of my 10-15 minute visit. As I left, multiple employees watched me at the door as I walked out without saying a word. I left and went to Raymour and Flanigan where I was greeted immediately, given multiple options and demonstrations, and I bought a $5,000 mattress.

Purchased stone colored Larce 3 piece sectional. Ended up getting two love seats with arms and wedge piece. Manager Jackie was very knowledgeable and I got exactly what I wanted at the price I wanted. 5 year extra warranty seems is a great deal. Very satisfied!

I was at the Montgomeryville pa store looking for a couch and Markese was very helpful, patient and up front about delivery services, pricing, protection plans, I wound up getting a couch, and the rug that complimented the couch. Then he took me to Cal to set up my order and delivery schedule. She was great. Both Markese and Cal were very pleasant. Just want to say thanks to them for a pleasant shopping experience!

Julius and the staff were very attentive and gave us a lot of great advice. I would just state that they were trying very hard to upsell us and give us the extended warranty. We repeatedly told them "no" and they kept trying to be persistent about it. I know it's their job but they were being very obvious about it.

Raymond was absolutely amazing! He made our experience as easy as possible. We went in wanting two couches and he was very knowledgeable and pointed us in the right direction. He even made sure we got the lowest prices possible. 10/10 experience.

Our salesperson, Ray, was excellent! The staff were very pleasant and helpful as well! We had a great shopping experience here at Ashlie Furniture in Montgomeryville, PA!

Friendly service, prompt and professional!

I’ve been to 3 different stores and the customer service is unmatched. Jackie helped me over the phone I came into the store and she made sure I got the right mattress for me at my budget. She asked me questions I didn’t even think of and even gave me some knowledge on mattresses and sleep. Mrs Champa at customer service checked me out and was very pleasant and fast. This is by far my best experience with Ashley’s and I will be back.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! I purchased a sofa and loveseat on September 20, 2025, delivered on September 24, 2025. The loveseat is unstable, moves excessively, and squeaks. I contacted customer service and was advised to cancel the order and schedule a return. I was told the order was canceled and to call the Montgomeryville store for pickup. I called the store and was told the manager needed to schedule the pickup and to call back after 1 PM on September 25, 2025. Upon calling back, the manager assured me the order was canceled and the furniture would be picked up between October 1 or 2, 2025, with a confirmation call the day before. However, when I called customer service yesterday, I learned the order was only canceled on September 29, 2025, and no pickup was scheduled. I was also informed the furniture needs to be returned by October 6, 2025, for a refund, but a pickup cannot be scheduled until October 6, 2025 or later.I was advised to call the store manager again to ensure my refund.I have been unable to reach the manager, and my calls have not been returned. I have unusable furniture and am concerned about receiving my refund on time.

Buying new furniture is not something I do often nor is it generally a pleasurable experience. My recent experience at Ashley Montgomeryville was excellent. Both our salesperson Ray and the manager Jacqui were polite and helpful. Although I was helped in making the right purchase and at the right price (Ashley has many promotions) I didn't feel pressured to buy. The sofas arrived today. Even nicer than I remembered. The delivery process was also very good. Highly recommended!

If I could give a negative review I would. We were misled on the furniture that we saw in the store, even though we were assured that what we ordered would work and is customizable for a sectional. Delivery showed up without advance notice, the delivery crew broke out brand new screen door and railing. Customer service then told us we will not be refunded for the delivery and also needed to pay $150 to schedule a pickup which won’t be available until next week, and basically that we are out of luck. Ashley Furniture and the manufacturer should be ashamed of themselves

We had a wonderful experience being helped by a new employee named Marquis Williams. He’s only been working here for four days and he had excellent product knowledge and the ability to help us with all our needs. I think you have an intelligent, charismatic, handsome young man who deserves recognition.

I had great help in purchasing my item. Both the salesman and the manager were very attentive, helpful and courteous. I like the serious manner that they showed...no rushing or pushing.

Excellent 👌. Jackie and her team were awesome helping me replace my bed. I purchased a brand new bedroom set from Ashley 1.5 year ago and a moving company I hired disassemble the bed inproperly and lost the parts. Jackie and her team were skilled and compassionate towards the fiasco I was dealing with. Thank you I am very grateful!

Ashley stores are a culmination of everything sleazy. Saturday I saw a discounted floor model mattress but it was sitting on a broken platform. They said to come back Monday. I call Monday, they said they’ll put it on a good platform. I get there, not only was it still sitting on the broken platform, the price more than doubled. Higher than the price of a brand new one. All I got was I don’t know that’s what’s on it. What changed all of a sudden? Me saying I’ll probably buy it Monday.

If I could give zero stars, I would. After months of looking at numerous stores, we purchased a set of kitchen table and chairs from this store. We were told we would receive a call within 72 hours to set up the delivery. When we did not get the call, I called the store, which then gave me a phone # to reach out to. I called, gave them my information & they proceeded to tell me that they called 3 days prior but could not reach me. I said that it is impossible, as my iPhone had no missed calls or voicemails pertaining to the delivery. The rep argued with me, and I finally said that I am not continuing this. Please schedule this delivery. I set it up, took time off, and the furniture was delivered and set up in the heat by 2 men. I gave them both bottles of water and tipped them both. As my wife was looking the furniture over, she noticed a chip on the top of the table. I had to run back out to the truck and stop the guys as they were loading the boxes on the truck. When we told them about the damage, they said we have 2 options: disassemble the table and take everything back, and see how long a replacement might take, not knowing how long it might be, or keep it, and the company would have a repairman come out to fix it. Knowing that it took months to find a table that fit our space and that we liked, we kept it and contacted the store. I have to arrange another day to work from home and set up the repair. I called, set it up, and a guy came out and did the repair several days later. The repair was slightly off color, but at this point, we were the ones aware of it. At this point, I already had to pay the minimum balance on my credit card, so I did. I contacted the store, waiting to speak to the manager, because I thought that it was only fair to request a discount as I paid for a new table not a repaired one, & to offset the finance charges, as I did not pay the furniture off. I did not receive a call back. I called back again a couple of days later, and I was told that the manager was busy with a customer but would call me back. That did Not happen, so I called back several days later, and when I asked for the manager, I was told that she was also the manager from another store. I had to explain the entire story situation again to her. She said that she was emailing the store manager as well as the delivery company, requesting that I either get a discount to offset my credit card finance charges and for all the time and calls, OR a replacement table (not my preference at this time, as I already took too much time with this). Well, not one manager called me back. Neither Ashley Corporate nor the store managers care about customer service, JUST GETTING THE SALE. Never again will I purchase from Ashley. Horrible Customer Service from Management!

Extremely poor communication and made promises they couldn’t keep with delivering my items.

Although the people in the store were nice, we had a piece delivered to our home that tore within one week on the corner. The corner on the other side also looks like it is about to tear. They said they will not replace it because it has been longer than 72 hours. Looks like to me a manufacturer defect and the protection company also agrees. Will not be shopping here again.

Love Ashley furniture-but they delivered the power recliner without the battery that we paid for, and it doesn’t seem like they’re in any hurry to fulfill that part of the order : / Very disappointing that they just shrug their shoulders and won’t commit to delivery of the battery- $129 - at all. Not good business practice for overall satisfaction. Will rate this order/delivery depending on how much more time until I receive a battery- the longer the time, the lower the rating. Sorry Ashley - that’s how customer service works.

I heard about a sale on the radio and thought it was a good reason to stop since I desperately needed a new couch. People inside were great as per to delivery its self is bs waited a month and half for my couch, it was suppose to come sooner and there was an issue which delayed it. When it was time to deliver it they only gave me a day notice and was not helpful at all with the time frame, they just told me to reschedule it which would've been another week or 2 you cant pick the day the driver does. Do yourself a favor don't waste your time on them. Personally I’m never going there again not worth the hassle

I went to the Montgomeryville store in Pa. today and my sales rep Ryan was great. He was pleasant from the onset. Ryan was patient and knowledgeable. He did not pressure us or try to upsell anything. I recommend seeing Ryan and/or the Store Manager Jerome if you go to this store.

Would not get furniture from here if you actually want to receive it. Ordered August 10 and told it would all be available at the end of August. October 1st and all I have is my couches, a headboard (after calling extremely upset they ended up taking it from someone else’s order) and one nightstand for my bedroom. Missing two dressers and a nightstand and still waiting with zero communication from Ashley. They tried delivering a dresser which was all scratched up that I had to refuse. The delivery driver told me “it was apart of the finish”… I have not been offered any sort of discount for the trouble and have to live out of suitcases in my new home. There was also a small dent taken out of the headboard but I needed it to move in so I’m just living with it. Don’t trust the dates they give you for estimated delivery, they are just trying to make a sale.

My shopping experience was subpar at best. The sale process could have been more seamless. It took three people to finalize the sale. One to initiated the sale(furniture selection), another gentleman attempted to explain the 60-month zero financing, which was inaccurate-I was under the impression that I would get 60-month zero financing, but it was later explained that I would only get 12-month financing. There was another individual that completed my credit application and provided me with my invoice, which she struggled to print and needed assistance. There were two delivery attempts on 7/29 and 8/9. The first attempt was particularly disappointing as the furniture arrived in a severely damaged condition, with one piece even cracked in half. The second delivery was successful in terms of no damaged furniture, but I was not entirely satisfied with the aesthetic of the additional loveseat. Per Section 7 B Return, Refunds, and Order Cancellations, I had a 72-hour window to initiate a return, and I called the store on 8/11 to do so. I spoke to several people concerning this matter. However, my primary point of contact was with Kal, and everyone assured me there wouldn’t be any issues with the return. I’m two weeks into this entire ordeal. There were several times when Kal did not follow up when she said she would, and it was left to me as the customer to follow up. Despite me loving my furniture and Ashley’s value pricing I wouldn’t suggest shopping at this location.

Update: After 4 months the escalation department did resolve my issue. Thank you! DO NOT PURCHASE AT ASHLEY!!! My husband and I purchased a sectional and during our time at the store customer service was great. After the delivery, the sectional had a smell that we figured would go away since it was all wrapped in plastic. Not only the smell didn't go away, we called the store, email customer service, got two different phone numbers to address our problem and nothing was done. Actually, they offered to pick it up and charge us a fee and provide us a credit towards another couch when I spent hours to decide on this one. I am pregnant and had to MOVE OUT OF MY OWN HOUSE IN ORDER TO BREATH, after some research we found out the product was off gazing chemicals and obviously given my circumstances I can't be breathing and coughing chemicals all day. After many attempts to find a solution we called the store again, explained our situation and have been waiting for over 30 days for a call back. Clearly I am not getting a refund, or a call back not to mention how we purchase the 5 year protection plan to find out we can only spot clean it, because have them come out and clean it all was a suggestion we gave, but I guess they just reel you in and don't care about client satisfaction. We will never again but from Ashley Furniture's.

Edit: it’s nice to see that Ashley only responds to positive reviews. Terrible customer service department! Only giving a 1 star because Ray was very helpful in the purchasing of our sectional. Everything else since purchasing our sectional at the end of October 2023 has been horrendous. The customer service department has not been helpful in the slightest. We’ve dealt with endless squeaking since our sectional got delivered on November 28, 2023. Had to have a tech out January 2, 2024 to “repair” the squeaking. It wasn’t repaired and apparently the tech noted it was due to “customer cause.” Fast forward to July 2024 where I placed another call to customer service due to the frame bowing outward. It’s bowing so far out that the cushions are sinking onto the sleeper underneath. I was told that a tech was already out and they can order a part and we can pay for labor, which I think is unacceptable due to the age of the sectional. These are 2 separate issues and no one in the Ashley Customer Services department can understand that. I’ve requested to have another tech come out and have yet to have that happen. No one in the store is able to help. Needless to say this 8 month old couch looks and sounds like it’s 8 years old. Don’t expect much from customer service if you’re having issues.

The manager of the store is the biggest yerk I have to deal with. We were asking for some support to deal with a return from an on-line purchase, where we have not received a response. The employees were trying to help us until the manager arrived and jumped into the conversation. He was unprofessional, saying I was absolutely wrong and he was right and he actually kicked us out of the store. We were asking for support and he was the worst to deal with. Absolutely he has no idea of what customer service means. Wouldn’t suggest for anyone to come to this store. There are other Ashley stores that know how to treat customers.

Horrible customer service from manager in north wales Ashley!! Furniture was paid for and delivery was set up for Oct 26. Got a call stating they no longer had the furniture we paid for in the warehouse and would not be able to supply it till beginning of Dec. I asked for a refund and was told we would have to pay a restocking fee. Can you imagine. Stay away from Ashley in north wales.

We purchased furniture here recently for my father when he was moving into an apartment. When we got into the apartment, some of the furniture did not fit well. The staff at the store was extremely helpful in replacing what we needed to replace. The store manager, Mae, was particularly helpful. She worked with us over a period of several weeks to make sure that everything was correct and that we were happy with the furniture.

Entered this location and literally spent 3 hours in the store picking out just what we wanted in the right size and color (couches). The initial customer service was pretty good however when they delivered what we ordered it was completely the wrong color. We ordered charcoal grey (almost black) and received light grey. We notified the store and then I received a call from a man named Wade saying the lighting may have been off in the showroom almost insinuating we were color blind instead of the couches being 2 totally different colors. Not even close in color. Come to find out we told them the couch we wanted which was the same exact couch and color we sat on in the actual store/showroom and they ordered the wrong color to then tell us it was our fault for not checking the details on the receipt were correct. We are not knowledgeable of what they call the colors of their couches. When you tell them what you want it is their responsibility to make sure the details are correct. When I told Wade I did not appreciate him insulting my intelligence that the colors were almost the same maybe just slightly different he said well we can schedule to have them picked up right now. As if he was not interested in correcting their mistake nor apologizing for it. He kept cutting me off when i was speaking and he was very rude. Then we got a phone call a week later saying our couches were in stock and ready for delivery. We thought they were the original color we ordered. However when asking them to read the color details on the order it was the same color they already delivered. So they tried to deliver us 2 sets of couches of the wrong color 2 different times. Should have kept the 2nd delivery for free however I am not a dishonest person. Not all staff but Wade at this location should not be working in customer service!! DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! They SCAM you with their pricing! I recently furnished a room with pieces from this store. The person I dealt with was fine. However, the delivery company delivered the wrong chairs. I then had to go back in person to get a refund on my chairs. I was told by the store manager that the chairs I paid for were not the right chairs I had picked out and that they were hundreds of dollars more. I said that I could not afford the price difference and instead would like a refund. I was rudely told by this manager that I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee if I wanted to cancel the order, which is a complete scam and predatory on their part. I said they should do the right thing and honor the pricing of the chairs I paid for… I then pulled up the price of the chairs online, which were the same SKU, and significantly less and he told me that it’s because they don’t include delivery and, “have no affiliation with their online store.” This literally sounds like a scam. He then told me, “If you ordered a brand new car and it showed up to the dealership and it was the wrong car, they wouldn’t just give you the car because they made a mistake.” I replied, “Fine, but they wouldn’t charge me 15% as a result of THEIR MISTAKE!” I cannot believe how terrible their customer service is. They ended up bringing down the price a bit on the chairs. However, I still had to pay more money out of pocket just to receive the chairs I had originally ordered. I also had to take off work again for their 8 hour delivery window. I will tell every person I know to avoid this furniture chain.

Raymond Crawley provided excellent service during our visit today. He helped me find the perfect bed frame and dresser set for my new home. A big shoutout to Ashley Furniture staff in Montgomeryville. The moment I entered the store I was greeted by a very pleasant man named Raymond who showed me around & helped me in placing my orders. He gave me 100% of his attention & patiently answered all my inquiries. Then I was helped by the store manager Amber & her assistant Evin in finalizing my orders. Less than a week later I received a call that my orders were in. Went back to the store & was greeted by James at the pick up who directed me to the warehouse & another James at the warehouse showed me my items for inspection. After that, another James (yes, there were 3 James’ 😁) helped load my items into my truck. Everything went very smoothly! It was a wonderful shopping experience with excellent customer service. I am one happy customer who will be coming back for more. Thank you guys!

Had an awesome experience purchasing several items for my new house working with John. He was welcoming and knowledgeable and really made it fun to shop with my family. It was no pressure like some other stores. Definitely recommend this location and special thanks for John for all his help and enthusiasm!

I wish I could leave negative stars. I have been fed misinformation, promised things at the store level and every level that were completely false or not adheared to. I have been treated poorly by every person, sub contractor and employee during the delivery process. Procedures and processes are not followed nd they do and say whatever is convenient for them, and can change depending on who you talk to in the organization. So I'm stuck paying a restocking fee or Redelivery fee. Buyer beware what you are signing up for. They do not care about their customers.

Today our family visited to purchase a couch for our grandmother. We were immediately greated by Raymond with a smile. I had visited many furniture stores recently with a friend and what struck me about Raymond, was unlike other stores where you feel pressured, he was completely different. Raymond was customer service oriented. Kind, patient, helpful and most of all personable, professional and knowledgeable. He is a true asset to Ashley! After the sale was made, we found that we went to school near each other and knew many of the same people. Raymond was an incredible athlete in our area! So honored to have met him today.

I went into this store and was serviced immediately. Myszhale was amazing as was the rest of the staff. My second time here and I left happy...again I've been back twice. Ray has helped me both times. The manager there wears a lot of hats. You'll be helped but bring your patience

Turns out I was ALL OVER THE PLACE, when I entered the store and the BEST PART was Kaeem was the most patient and helpful and adding his suggestion without making YOUR decision. Do not buy from Ashley at this or any location. They use your deposit to finance operations and do not deliver as promised. Sure the staff was friendly; but the promise of a 4 week delivery did not equate the reality of 8 weeks. The delivery process was a mess. How would you feel about being told the delivery window was 3-7 PM and the drivers show up in the dark at 9:15PM? No ability to get information from the store on delivery status despite several calls. Perhaps they do not have computer tracking or even care. Never again.

Do not shop here! They just take your money and leave you with all the issues It begins when we pay with a card but we had to manually enter it because the chip wasn’t working, (we did offer to go out and get cash)but i was told it went through come to find out it was just a hold which no one told me till I spoke to the 4th person. We were called 5 DAYS LATER to tell us it did not go through and they cancelled our delivery for Friday which i had already requested off for. We then scheduled it for Wednesday we confirmed on Monday of last week they say it’s confirmed. Come Tuesday our delivery is CANCELED again. Because our sales rep James did not schedule the delivery properly so I had to sit on the phone for 20 minutes. They then said they could squeeze me in for Friday, i get the delivery on Friday it went well but Ashley never told their delivery men that we were on the 3rd floor. As you see they are consistent liars. Amber the general manager couldn’t help with any reimbursement for the 2 days we had to request off because of there margins they Dont care about customers they just care about the money they make and don’t correct there mistakes I spoke to the divisional manager and he was also no help just apologizing like that will give me back my time don’t waste your time go to Reymour! I just simply asked for my delivery fee back it doesn’t bring back all the time I wasted but they are still unhelpful dont shop here please

Today we went to Ashley’s Furniture to look for a specific sectional that I had seen online and we were immediately greeting by the sales representative, Raymond. He showed us the sectional we were originally interested in, until I had a change of heart. He was very patient with us as we took our time considering all the options they had in the store front. I eventually found exactly what we were looking for. I had a lot of questions about the sectional I was interested in as well as questions about the financing. Raymond allowed me to ask away and he answered everything I needed to know in a professional and kind manor. He found the best pricing arrangement that worked for our finances and I always felt like he understood our needs. I enjoyed working with Raymond today and I loved our sectional purchase. I will be making future purchases from this location and I will be looking forward to Raymond assisting us again because we definitely formed a great relationship with him. We had a great experience at the Ashely’s Furniture in Montgomeryville today!

Be aware dont shop at this branch. They have no customer service once the furniture leaves there they refuse to take any responsibility. They sent broken furniture and did not refund or even offered any help. Worst place to shop furniture. I will never shop at this store ever again.

My wife and I were looking to purchase furniture for our home. While travelling from Bassett Furniture on 309S towards Raymour and Flannigan, we spotted the new Ashley store. After looking at their nice selection of sectional sofas, we found a piece we needed more info on. The sales people were spread throughout the store and let us look without being pressured, which is a huge plus. James Jones (Assistant Store Manager) and his sidekick Ryan ( a new employee shadowing James) came to assist us with some questions. They were both very professional and put up with my jokes and random chat which I typically dish out to unsuspecting sales people. I questioned James about the pricing options for the furniture and he promptly returned with a bottom line price. We made the purchase without hesitation and look forward to getting the delivery at the end of February. Great experience and we highly recommend you stop and see James or Ryan to assist with your next furniture purchase!
