Beware of Misleading Pricing at Ashley’s "Going Out of Business" Sale I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. I recently walked into this Ashley’s location because of their bold “Going Out of Business” signs. Their signage read “Our Loss, Your Gain” — but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Their prices were outrageously marked up. I was looking for a specific bed and saw a complete set priced at $6,000. The king bed frame alone was listed at $2,130. That seemed high, so I pulled up the exact same bed on Ashley’s own website — it was priced at $1,049.99 online. I showed it to the salesperson, who admitted it was the same model. He then said he could give it to me for "half price," which brought it down to — you guessed it — the original online price. There is nothing on sale here. They are inflating prices and then pretending to offer deals. It’s misleading and unfair to shoppers who think they’re getting a bargain. If you’re looking for real deals, do yourself a favor and shop around. Don’t fall for the hype.
