Furniture is cheap

We made a purchase on Tuesday, never received info on delivery status when we asked when should we expect delivery “we will give you a call” NEVER received any calls. We called the store so many times to get a hold of someone just to drive there to be told “oh your signature was missing on this form, since you took the original one” this was almost a week after placing the order. Fast forward we get the furniture delivered, the table was to large for our place, we call not even 24 hours after getting it delivered to be told it’s 150$ for someone to come take it, we asked if we can exchange, “still going to be 150$ to pick up” ok we’ll can we just return it to the warehouse our selves “that’s to much of a liability” ok can you have someone call us to see what our options are the service with the management team has not been the greatest, manager then states someone from the “escalation team” will reach out no one has reached out. Tried calling the following day and NO ONE ANSWERS. The amount of money we spent on all the furniture we bought to get this type of service and treatment is unacceptable.

My location to the store the sales person greeted me right away and ask me if I need help. Once I told him what I was looking for he was very helpful. I wasn't even Indian long and I really appreciate it. He did a wonderful job. Thank you.

We had an awesome experience with and emergency, we needed a sofa bed same day and Nia sales rep made it happen, my God keep blessing people like her .

My husband and I bought over $15,000 worth of furniture from these people (Ashley Cottman Ave) we were told all the things we wanted to hear that anybody would want to hear when buying furniture we specifically went over the return or exchange policy for the mattress we spent over $2000 on just a mattress alone. We were told if we’re not satisfied with the mattress we can exchange it, the first time it would be no cost the second we would just have to pay for Restocking fee we went to exchange the mattress they told us we had to keep the mattress we didn’t like for 30 days very annoying because that mattress was awful so we had to sleep on it for 30 After 30 days, we were told we can exchange it for another mattress, but we had to pay the restocking fee and after this we could not exchange it and just for the record, this was our first exchange mattress is something that is very important if you’re looking to feel completely satisfied with a mattress, they’re only gonna let you change. It might as well go with mattress firm or another store that’s gonna let you exchange until you’re fully sat. We have been waiting for the rest of our furniture to arrive multiple times they told us the furniture would be delivered. We stayed home, took off of work and then they called to tell us they have to reschedule the delivery date. This is getting quite frustrating and no one is willing to help us with this issue when we call they tell us they’re gonna call us back but nobody calls us back. I wish I would have never wasted my money with these people go to Kiki’s furniture on Frankford Avenue. Kiki is a charm to work with and they offer excellent customer service !

I bought furniture last august scheduled a delivery but ETA was later than expected so I picked it up, I was sent a check to refund me for the delivery i had paid for, I deposited the check and it bounced. I called may 22 and was told a manger would reach out it’s now July 19th and still no call back.

Mira is an awesome person. She was able to answer all our questions and was able to give us an affordable price. I highly recommended her to help you with future purchases. I would come here again if I need more furnitures.

Bought a sleeper sectional sofa. Was sent a regular sectional. The manager gave us the name of a company that would break the couch down to fit it in the door. Said warranty wouldn't be affected. Now they are dragging their feet in taking this sectional back and giving us the one we actually paid for which was $400 more then the one we were sent.

This location is a franchise, not a regular store. The difference: corporate couldn't help when my delivery was delayed. So, I cancelled my 2 end tables, and bought from Ashley website, with help from chat. Saved over $100 with free shipping. Got run-around from store and warehouse. Never again. Go to Cherry Hill, online, or the Blvd outlet.

Terrible experience with Ashley Furniture on Cottman Ave. Purchased a lovely platform bed on June 2, 2023. Delivered on June 13th, delivery men proceeded to bring in and set up the bed, then they realized there were some parts missing. They took the bed out and back onto the truck. I questioned them asking can you just go get the missing pieces and come back? Nope! They had to take the bed back to the warehouse to re-scan it. Was told it takes 72 hours for the rescan to go through. The bed was then delivered again on 6/17 and we had to fight to get it delivered on that date. Finally, the bed was here again!!! The bed was set up; however, the headboard is off uneven and not leveled, they left two of the drawers attached on the bed with the handles still screwed on the inside (I called the delivery guy to let him know) and I was told to get a screwdriver and basically do it yourself. There was also another piece of the bed on the floor🧐I was hoping our experience was a better on, but it just wasn't. As of today 7/20/2023, our issues are still not resolved. The repair company was scheduled to come out today 7/20/23, but no one showed up. Called corporate and all they did was send us back to Ashley Store on Cottman Ave where we purchased the bed. No help at all!

There is a very large selection of furniture in this facility. You are bound to find what your looking for. I found the staff to be customer friendly accommodating in making sure you are taken care of. The prices a good also. The salesman August is very professional, knowledgeable and customer friendly. This store is well stocked, clean and well organized with great staff. This store has everything you need. From the right price to the right selection.

This is a review for the harvina dining room chairs. The chair quality is subpar, not worth the price. And please please please DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY PROTECTION PLANS! Ashley uses a third party company located outside of USA and you will NEVER get any assistance. YOUR MONEY WILL BE WASTED. I bought these chairs last year and notice it was a little wobbly. My first mistake was that i didn't return them immediately. Instead i kept it only because we hardly use the chairs anyway. Over the past week we noticed it has gotten more wobbly we called the so called protection company and they told us they could not fix anything. WASTE OF MONEY. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT GET THESE.

We had a wonderful experience shopping the collection here. The manager August was a huge help and the staff was super chill and informative.

Subpar experience, rep greeted us but wasn’t very helpful finding a couch and bedroom set. Store manager was nice but staff need a refresher on products and training. I noticed they raised the prices, at those prices you mind as well shop at Raymour and Flanigan.

I placed a order at the Cottman Ave store in Phila, that I paid for in full on 11/07/2022, and was given a delivery date of 11/15/2022 @ 11am-3pm, which just didn't happen until 11/16/2022. They offered me a next day delivery with a 7am drop off. My order didn't come in until 9:15am. I was then called by Cottman Ave customer service to inform me that they could not refund me anything on delivery, nor could I get a discount due to a split delivery that the store representative offered, but they could give me an earlier arrival date for my tables which would arrive on 11/19/2022 instead of 11/30/2022. On 11/19/2022 the arrival time for the tables was between 1pm-5pm, I received a call from customer service at 4:56pm, and 4:47pm that the driver was running behind, so the new time of arrival was set for 5:30pm-6-30pm. Needless to say they arrived at 8:37pm. This is a poor representation of the company that I have always received nothing, but the best from. On that note if I could give ZERO stars for this whole fiasco I most definitely would.

I visited the store in August (Cottman) I purchased a sofa, kitchen table and chairs, bedroom queen set and bunkbed with storage. All items came except the bedbunk and storage. From August up until November 5th I have been dealing with the company trying to get my final furniture Let's just say it ended with a refund I will not deal with this company again. L

I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!! I purchased a bed frame and the five year protection plan on October 1st and I was working with a manager named August Ranalli and I told him I wanted to pick the bed up on November 4th and he told me that my bed would be held until that date and I won’t have any problems with picking it up on that date. After I paid I received paperwork saying the wharehouse only holds the items for 14 days. I later called the wharehouse and they told me that all the manager had to do was put it in their notes. He has been giving me the run around and false information I even called back on the 2nd to cancel and he said he would cancel it for me. I called back today because I didn’t receive any cancellation email and they told me it was never canceled. I went to the store today and he told me I had to pay a cancellation fee. I’m not sure what shady things are going on but this has been the worst experience ever.

If I could give this place a negative I would. Buyer definitely beware. The "so called manager" August Ranalli. Do not go to Asley furniture located on 2201 Cottman Avenue. August Ranalli the new Manager basically lied from beginning to end to my daughter. My daughter and I specifically informed him of our move in date of November 4th. Stated we wouldn't be able to get furniture until then. Mr.Ranalli stated that it wouldn't be a problem, my daughter would be able to get her bed from the warehouse on Nov 4th, no problem. So she paid for bed, got receipt. Upon getting into car and driving off, receipt stated that we had 14 days from 10/1/22 to get bed from warehouse or will be put back in inventory. Contacted warehouse, they stated manager could have put date of pick up on invoice but didn't. Called Mr. Ranalli back who stated they should have done it he will fix it and call back. August Ranalli called back that night stating he spoke to his manager and they will see if it can be brought to their store and waive $40 fee until November 4th. Daughter would have to call on Monday. 10-2-22 We went to another Ashley store and found out that numerous people have complained about cottman location to Ashley store we visited. The manager there even stated he he visited and pretended to be a customer and staff was disorganized. Additionally, the bed sold wasn't an Ashley bed, it was a Regancy but put on Ashley invoice which isn't protocol or procedure. As well as my daughter being entitled to a refund. My daughter immediately contacted August Ranalli and stated that she was canceling due to everything going on. August said why I was having it sent here. Again, we informed him that wasn't stated and was told to call on Monday. No longer want. My daughter went to cottman location today (10-5-22) asking for refund again. August Ranalli said its 72 hour cancelation fee. My daughter left, I contacted another branch in which they were very apologetic. They also stated there is no such thing as cancelation fee . They provided me with Bensalem regional manager to report location as well as writing a review to warn others. I say this to beware. And it saddens me to see how some will try to take advantage of young people. My daughter works and in college, just shouldn't take advantage of people. Concerned Parent and consumer

Ashley furniture sent me a Labor Day VIP sale information on mattresses which I was very interested. I in walked into Ashley's walk around the whole showroom nobody approached me. I don't have any idea who a sales person was I was in there for 20 minutes looking around and nobody seemed to care. So I left and went somewhere else.

Joselyn was very helpful in helping me find a sofa. She was very patient and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. It was a great experience.

If I could give Ashley furniture zero stars I would. I purchased several pieces of furniture from this store and one of the tables did not fit. I found this out after my couch was back ordered and the table was here 2 weeks earlier. Now because I’m past the 72 hr time limit of return I’m stuck with a $700 table. Worst return policy ever and customer service is absolutely terrible!! Will NEVER shop here again or recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone!

Terrible customer Service. I ordered a bedroom set for my son I have had issues from the moment it got delivered each and every time they try to reschedule there was another issue. Two parts of the bed came defective , cracked and chipped. I have yet to receive a call from a manager it is extremely disappointing That you can’t even get a call from a manager. overall a very terrible experience will never order here again.

Was shopping for a sofa today and checked this out. Walk in the lady introduces herself so she’s the assistant manager I said I’m just looking. She then proceeded to kind of follow me and engage in conversation. Ok no biggie A little aggressive, but no biggie. Picked out a sofa that I somewhat liked and she goes and gets me a price even though I did not ask for it. I’ve already mentioned to her that I’m only in the looking stage not about to buy for a couple weeks. She repeatedly asked me if I want her to invoice that sofa to lock in the price. I don’t know how many times I needed to say that I was only looking. If I’m only looking why would I be letting you invoice me? Then she asked me how do I plan on paying again I already said I was only looking. It was pretty uncomfortable and aggressive I will buy from somewhere else.
