Went to Ashley furniture store to look for furniture today replace what was lost in house fire. Cherished went out of her way to help me find what I wanted. No pressure at all. Im handicapped. She moved stuff out of the way for me. She even stayed over an hour over. I was able to buy sectional couch, loveseat and chair. Even gave us water. Let me take my time choosing. Im coming back really soon to buy more furniture. Also furniture looked top quality too.

I asked many questions, received an answer for everyone, I would recommend her and Ashley of South Hills to any person tired of truly ignorant sales people who just want a sale and don't really care about their customers. I did not feel rushed. I asked about other furniture and was given advice I appreciate. She makes this store stand out!!!! I would recommend her to all my family, and especially church friends for 100% customer service care.

Sales agent quickly welcomed us and presented several choices and colors. Prices were reasonable and scheduling delivery was easy and prompt.

Went to Ashley over the Presidents Weekend, specifically, to find a decent mattress at a decent price. We were greeted by Eric, who patiently and professionally introduced us to several floor models. Eric hooked us up with a Nectar Premier mattress, a mattress cover, and recycling our old mattress. Eric arranged the earliest delivery date. When we asked for sooner, he asked for a little time to make it happen, and he did. We were very pleased.

Update: After posting my review, Ashley Furniture reached out to acknowledge my experience and offered a resolution. While the situation should not have escalated to this point, I do appreciate that Ashley Furniture has taken steps toward making things right. I am confident that they will use this feedback to improve experiences for future customers. Our experience at Ashley Furniture has been nothing short of infuriating. When we went in to purchase our sectional, the salesperson very confidently promised that we would have our entire couch delivered by 10/31. That promise was a huge reason we decided to buy that day. As we were literally pulling out of the parking lot, he called to say he had “made a mistake” and that only 2 of the 5 pieces would arrive on 10/31, with the remaining pieces coming on 11/14. While frustrating, he at least acknowledged the error and offered $100 off the 5-year warranty we were already planning to purchase. Then on 11/14, after receiving no delivery confirmation, I called Ashley customer service myself. That’s when I was casually told that our couch would not be arriving until 12/4. No call. No email. No text. Just a completely new date—nearly a full month later than what we were originally promised. What was sold to us as essentially a one-week wait turned into over two months. We had just moved and had no living room furniture, and we were planning to host both a baby shower and Thanksgiving in our new home. Instead, we were left with two random pieces of a sectional and had to scramble to change plans with family and friends. To make matters worse, I spoke with one of the managers at the South Hills Village location who told me she would “see what she could do” regarding compensation and call me back. She never did. During that same phone call, she was incredibly unprofessional. I made a point to say that I didn’t blame the salesperson personally—mistakes happen—but that the company needed to make this right. She scoffed and replied, “It most certainly is his fault,” throwing her own employee under the bus instead of taking accountability as management. Despite all of this and finally having all of the pieces to our couch on 12/4, we received no real compensation, and we are still paying monthly on a couch that took months to arrive after repeated broken promises. Ashley Furniture has shown a complete lack of transparency, communication, professionalism, and customer care. I would strongly warn anyone considering a purchase: do not trust their delivery timelines or expect accountability if something goes wrong.

This is an edit to my first post. The staff was nice, however I was told that I was getting a basic adjustable base for my elderly mother. The salesperson said she did not need the more expensive one with more confusing additions. The salesperson did not mention the name of the “basic base” or price. I assumed what I paid for was the basic base he told me about. It wasn’t until it got delivered that the delivery guys (who were great) said no this one has all the bells and whistles. So I was up charged for the expensive adjustable base that we did not talk about nor did I need. I also was not told that their pillows were final sale. It wasn’t until I called the store that a sales lady said they are final sale. This could’ve been mentioned before I purchased the pillows. My poor mother does not like $255 worth of pillows (that’s for 2 pillows). It seems like you don’t know any of the details until after you pay. Can’t trust people anymore.

Our sales associate has been wonderful. Great product. Took one star off because I sent delivery instructions twice to help make it easier for the team. Apparently the delivery team does not get these instructions, which made their job harder and inconvenienced both me and them. They did a nice job setting up once they were able to find the house and the location needed to unload. Also we ordered from Ashley and a Levin truck showed up. We picked Ashley because we didn’t want to work with Levin. We have another delivery coming up, hopefully it goes better.

We had a wonderful experience with Cherisse Abinanti. She was very helpful. While we spent over 3 hours looking at furniture for 2 rooms and changing our minds several times. Til we finally chose what we we were both happiest with. Thankyou Cherisse.

In my 80+ years, I’ve worked with an awful lot of sales people; but I’ve never found anyone better than Linda at Ashley’s Furniture at South Hills Village Mall. She was so congenial and fun to work with, shared all kinds of helpful insights, and had the patience of a saint. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for furniture, whether it’s for a retirement move or for a young couple starting out. What could have been extremely stressful, due to my indecision, turned out to be a delight, instead!

We visited the Ashley Store behind South Hills Village. Lance helped us learn all about the beds and mattresses. He was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant and made the process not only easy, but enjoyable. It’s nice to know that our community has a large, national furniture store staffed with excellent designers who really know their business. We highly recommend Lance at Ashley Furniture.

Steve Cimino was my salesperson. Very helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy. Bought recliner ( never ever thought I would do that) and he helped me find a no -recliner looking, small one.

EDIT: we ended up having to cancel our order. While their in-store system said 2 weeks for delivery, it is actually a 2+month wait after calling their support team. They shouldn’t have displays in store that are going to take this long to ship. Not discrediting our salesperson, Steve - he still did his best. His system failed him, which failed us. Steve Chimio was amazing! He was there when we needed help, and gave us space when we didn’t. He made our shopping experience pleasant and got us the best deal on what we picked!

We needed a dining room table for our first house. Went in to browse at first to get some ideas and get some questions answered. Cherisse was awesome and helped us figure out what would work for our space and didn’t pressure us to rush our purchase. We went home to double check our measurements to make sure the table we picked out would fit nicely. Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful, we would definitely go back again. The general manager even helped us finish out our order when Cherisse was tied up.

Went to the Ashley store in south hills village staff was very welcoming ! I had Lauren help me she made sure i measured the correct areas to make sure the new couch will fit and make turns.

Purchased a large sectional from this store, within a month of delivery a rip in the fabric occurred, no problem i thought since i purchased the platinum protection plan, i was wrong! Buyer beware, when you call to file a claim they have you send pictures, some customer service person deemed the damage a “snag” and has since refused to send a repair person. Save yourself money and don’t buy the protection plan. I really had high hopes for a new furniture store in the south hills, but this is very poor customer service.

My experience with purchasing a dining set was completely remote. My daughter was on site purchasing a couch, and I asked to speak with her salesperson, Linda. Together, they sent me pictures and helped me design exactly what I was looking for. Linda was extremely patient and helpful and kind. My husband and I went in unsure we would find anything that would fit our needs as this was the third store we stopped in that day, we were looking for a glider recliner for our living room and had no luck so far. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a kind woman. We told her what we were thinking; preferred features and price range. She showed us a few different models they had in their store and we ended up liking a recliner rocker that we purchased. The whole staff was very nice, the manager even gave our child a balloon which made their day. I would recommend this furniture store to anyone.

He checked and found it at another store, so off we head onan adventure. After obsessing over it, we were actually a little let down by it. Back to the South Hills store we went. Jeff walked us through all of our options, and our new couch should be here in a few weeks!

My family and I recently visited Ashley Furniture in the South Hills area, and we were deeply disappointed by the experience. Not a single employee acknowledged our presence—no greeting, no offer of assistance. Moments later, other customers arrived—individuals who fit a certain appearance—and they were promptly welcomed and assisted without hesitation. It was both disheartening and painful, especially because my young daughter witnessed it all. She saw firsthand that in today’s world, people can still be treated differently based solely on the color of their skin. It’s a harsh and heartbreaking reminder that discrimination and racism continue to exist. To Ashley Furniture: Our money is just as valuable as anyone else’s. The complete lack of respect and basic customer service we experienced was not only unacceptable—it was unforgettable.

I went in looking for something very specific that I had researched online. The store didn't have it but Kevin at the South Hills location was able to find it online and order it for me. He even offered to have the delivery men set it up for me and take away the trash afterwards which I didn't know was a service they offered! They were very warm, welcoming, and not overbearing (like other furniture stores tend to be). I am looking forward to getting my new dining room set!!!

On the day of my sectional being delivered I found a damaged part. I found it about 5 min after the delivery men left. I immediately called the store, they said the piece would be replaced. Instead I somehow get the run around and have to deal with a different department who handles the deliveries only to be told they will send someone to “fix it”. And to add not till the end of March. A brand new piece of furniture should not have to be fixed. It should be replaced. This is the first and probably last time I will order from Ashley, very disappointed.

I went in today to buy a new bedroom set. Mark Houck was great!! He presented me a few different options. Offered me deferred interest financing. I bought a nice bedroom set. I would recommend going to see Mark for all your furniture needs. Very nice, quality, long lasting furniture!!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Jeff at Ashley Furniture in South Hills Village. He greeted us at the entrance, but did not stalk after us in the store. When we found what we wanted to purchase, he helped us through the paperwork and even found a similarly colored fabric so we could get an idea of the color we wanted. My experience at the Ashley Store in SHV was exceptional! I went in to buy a living room set but left with a bedroom set that was discontinued and heavily discounted. The store had it wrapped and ready for me to pick it up. My salesman, Jeff and the store manager helped us load everything into a U-Haul. They were both dressed up but jumped right in to help us! They went above and beyond to make our experience great! Jeff was friendly, not too pushy, and answered all of my many questions. He also ordered me an additional night stand from another store to complete my set. He was very thorough and gave us 5 star customer service! I will definitely call on him in the future for all of my furniture needs! I highly recommend him and Ashley furniture. They have great quality furniture for great affordability, topped off with great customer service! The triple threat to all their competitors !

The delivery crew is an embarrassment. Multiples visits to my home to get it right. Each visit, they did damage to my hardwood floors and doorways as they forced the furniture in. Damage to floors would have been avoided if they actually picked up the furniture instead of dragging it. Even after telling them that they scratched my floor. They continued to drag it again and cause more damage. I threw them out before they could further harm my home.

We had at great experience at this location. Jeff made shopping for a new couch easy. He was very personable and was able to answer every question. There were lots of options as well.

I made a purchase (5k+) and had a simple question about the charges that hit my Ashley card. I called and got Aruna on the phone. The customer service couldn't have been worse. She was short and rude. They clearly don't care about customer service and definitely don't seem to want any future business from me. Buyer beware, this store is owned by Levin. I also purchased a sectional around the same time online from a store in another state. I had an issue with one piece and they were absolutely amazing. the tech that came even helped tighten up all the bolts that Ashley left very loose on both Ashley dining sets I had delivered. Levin/Ashley tried to talk me out of buying online, but I saved over $1000 and the after sale service was a million times better.

I don't think I will be anything else from this store. I put a loveseat, sofa, and recliner chair as a set .My delivery order was 3 weeks out from my purchase date. 1 week before my delivery date, i was told that the recliner chair is delayed till the middle of February . This means I am not getting My furniture till March First, I was told it was the chair. Then, when I spoke with the actual store, it was all my furniture on a truck. I felt I was told anything because they don't have the furniture. At this point, I want my money back and don't want to ever deal with the store again. I just want to be told the truth, not make up things, because you don't have actual answers

We needed new sofas, tables, and lamps, and Ashley Furniture HomeStore at the South Hills Village location was our third stop. We were glad we did! They have a wide selection of beautiful home furnishings, and the people who work there are welcoming and not pushy. Our salesperson, Lauren, was amazing. I appreciated her sound interior decorating advice, since it is not really one of my strong points. Their delivery team is top notch. I highly recommend this store. If you need home furnishings, stop in and ask for Lauren!

Went to shop in store. Was not aware that stores are franchises. We were looking for a sleeper sofa for a home in Minnesota. Sales associate totally walked away when we said for delivery in Minnesota. Never checked back again. We were the only customers in store. We will never shop again! Customer experience is the most important thing!

This is a new store to our South Hills village. I heard Ashley furniture is good quality and wanted to check out this store. I needed a solid back armchair that would fit me well after my back surgery. I found a great chair, got a good price and courteous service from Dianne.

Experience was good in person but they originally stated my table would be here Christmas Eve, then stated it could be delivered earlier on either Dec 11, 16, or 18. I was unable to be here for the delivery on any of those days so I asked to stay with the original date. Well then they pushed it back further to December 31, and now I get a call stating it will come some time in mid January? Who knows when I’ll get my table and it makes no sense how they can push it up so soon originally and now making us wait over a month longer. Honestly infuriating. We just want our table!! We just purchased our couch from value city and they were way quicker with their delivery and I regret not purchasing a table from them.

My experience with Ashley Furniture store in the South Hills Mall was exceptional!!! I encountered on my visit to the store Diane, my personal helper, I found her to be refreshing. I have been in sales for many years and am always personable with my clients from being an active traveling notary. I was interested in a recliner that I had seen on an earlier visit. During our chat, we started talking about beds being an option to perhaps help me in relieving pain. I had a hip replacement and am currently sleeping on a queen, but the husband could not sleep with the base in a raised position. So, when I could no longer take it, I would go to the good old recliner to sleep. Diane mentioned that there was a bedding sale with a zero gravity bed that peeked my interest & perked up my ears. I was curious about the Purple brand split king. Diane introduced me to Tyler, one of the store managers. WOW, I had him running back and forth with my personal options. Finally, I decided on the split king, zero gravity platform & the recliner, which bumped me up for some additional savings! Once all was completed, I started the zero percent finance process on everything for 60 months. I was not rushed in the decision process, I was guided, not pushed, which is huge. Both their customer service skills and knowledge of the product were impressive. I invested hard earned money for my longevity and quality of life. With a team of conscious people like this, I will be back to see Diane as she was in the health field and knew exactly what I needed for my conditions. I will continue to recommend people to visit, to ask for Diane as she & Tyler made me feel like family.
