I am embarrassed to say that i had not been in this store and I have lived in the area for the last five years taking care of my mom moving back here from Virginia whereci luvecandcworked for 35 yrs. I had to move my mom to an assisted living facility and needed furniture to fit in her room/apartment. I was a nervous wreck due to a deadline for getting her room outfitted with furniture. OMG....you must go in there. Look no further. My salesrep is Gladys Rodriguez, and she is bilingual, and beyond patient. I spent about 3 hours in the store looking, measuring, and returning another day to finalize all selections. If you want help, she is there to do that for you. Johnny is the manager and there are other associates to assist. I am relieved and thrilled with my selections. Nowcwaiting delivery to her facility. So, don't waste another minute scanning the web when you can see the furniture in person, feel the material, and test sit in a sofa etc. Good luck and have fun in the Ashley Whitehall store! My first experience with Ashley Furniture was fabulous. Our sales team were excellent. Especially Niko. After introducing himself, he left us alone to browse (which is what I like). Once we knew what we needed, he was so helpful in getting us to where we needed to go. I ended up getting my living room and bedroom furniture picked out in less than an hour. He and his associates helped me get the best price and were so kind in the process. I would highly recommend them for your furniture needs. I definitely plan on going back!

My husband & I had a great experience working with Nico at the Ashley Furniture Store. After greeting us and asking how he could help he pointed us in the right direction and let us do some shopping around on our own. Instead of hovering he checked in with us as we narrowed down our search for a sectional. He was patient and we were totally comfortable enough to tell him exactly how we felt about something even if we didn’t like it. His manager made a point of introducing herself to us and was able to offer a nice discount on our purchase. Everyone there was so friendly and professional! Highly recommend shopping there.

Went into the Whitehall store to scope out a dining room table for my apartment with the possibility of not finding what I wanted. Nico greeted me within seconds of walking through the door and let me know if I needed anything that he would be around to help. I prefer my space when searching and he gave the perfect amount! When he saw my mom and I stop at a table I liked, he approached, wrote it down incase I wanted to come back to it and let us continue to look around after providing info. The second table I looked at was perfect. Nico made the whole purchasing process incredibly easy! He was very knowledgeable and helpful with my purchase. Very professional and helpful!

Before you think of buying from this store please read! We purchased a couch on August 10th. When you leave the store after making payment you do not have a delivery date set you have to wait for someone else to call you. The couch arrived about 2weeks later. The couch did not fit so we paid $150 to get the couch picked up. We went to the store to arrange this we picked out another couch and paid the difference. This is when our issues began. The plan put in place was to have the old couches picked up and the new ones dropped off the same day. This did not happen as the store employee did not send in our invoice so a delivery to be scheduled. When I inquired about this they stated they never had one so I was emailed the invoice (which I already signed at the store) for me to print, sign, scan and email back(very convenient) A $2000 invoice just lost?? No apology either. Our old couches were picked up on 10/4. This was never noted and as of today 10/11 no one knows where this is at. Just imagine my stress for possibly being charged another $2k for lost inventory. Also I only know of this because we went to the store today and they mentioned it to us. The new couches were scheduled for 10/9. Our phone records show no call was placed to both phone numbers on file. So now we are obligated to pay $150 to set a new delivery date. We have to wait for our next month statement for T-MOBILE to release our phone records to prove no call was placed. With no guarantee that they will refund the $150. Store employees, customer service and delivery department are not connected so one can’t help you with the other. There’s also no accountability or no escalation to management in these situations. The lack of customer service and empathy in this situation has been almost unbelievable. I would not recommend going to this store or purchasing from Ashley furniture.

I had the most pleasant experience shopping for a couch at this ashleys. I had gone to a different one and wasnt sold on the couches there. Coming to the whitehall location the sales associate greeted me right at the door! Anthony and the one manager Cyara were SO knowledgeable about their sofas. They didnt rush me and let me try out every couch I was interested in. At the end I was super torn between two different sets when Anthony showed me a hidden gem in the one sofa and I was SOLD did up the paperwork and it took less than 5 minutes. Would recommend this location to anyone ! Great experience

We started looking for furniture in early August. Anthony approached us shortly after we walked into the store. We explained that we weren't buying yet. We just wanted to look. He gave us the space we wanted. When we had questions he was able to answer them. Now it's September and we returned to the store to purchase the furniture we liked. We purposely asked for Anthony because he was so great with us in August. It was a quick and easy experience made better by Anthony's professionalism and dedication to salesmanship and customer service. What a true asset to this company and benefit to customers.

We had stopped by 2 weeks ago and were very impressed with our salesman, Anthony. He did not “hover” consistently as others tend to do, but when we had a question, he was always readily available. Came back to make our TV stand and end tables (3) purchase today when we knew he was on shift. What impressed me most was the teamwork attitude of your entire sales group - when Anthony did not have an answer, he consulted his team members until we got to the person who had our answer. Every retail store should operate like that - tremendous help to the consumers.

Tory was a great sells person. My husband and I came in a few weeks ago and the store was super busy and only Troy and his manager were here. The store was packed. We were super please with how attentive Tory was. We let him know in the very beginning that we were only looking at this point. That did not bother him at all. While he was still working with multiple other people he made sure all of our questions and need were meet. Today, my husband I came back to Ashley with intentions to buy. Troy remembered my husband and myself. He again helped us with all our questions and multiple changes. His manger and him were very helpful. Sales people sneakily follow you around the store watching you. Makes it very uncomfortable and a huge turnoff. In my opinion, 90% of what we looked at is low quality furniture. I didn't see any dovetail joints on anything. Finishes look like printed pictures. Just our observation.

We were in need of a new dining room table, and Ashley was on our list of stores to check out. We ended up buying here because we really liked one of the tables and the price was fair, especially since we caught it in sale! The salesperson was helpful and hooked us up with another discount on the shipping because we asked for it to seal the deal (remember, as the consumer you have the power, so make sure you ask for more discounts! 😉). We are very happy with our new table and the quality is great! We would shop here again. Now, for the couple of criticisms that I think need to be mentioned - First, the store is not set up not by department, but by room design, so if you want to look at tables for example, they're strewn about the whole building and not all conveniently located in one area. Second, my wife is disabled and there are no ADA ramps or elevators for her to access the store entrance (she had to get out of her wheelchair and get back in when the chair was placed on the sidewalk), nor the upper floors which in 2024 is inexcusable. Ashley definitely needs to address the requirements of their handicapped customers.

While the sofas are beautiful, the hassle I went through to receive them wasn’t worth it. When ordering the sofas in store, it took the sales associate over an hour to get the order placed due to several issues on their end. The one sofa arrived with a huge rip on the back. Due to going with threshold delivery, Ashley said they technically didn’t need to replace the furniture because I have to accept it as is upon delivery with threshold delivery. This was never made clear when ordering and in fact, it was recommended to me to go with threshold delivery because there is very little assembly required with sofas. Ashley eventually agreed to exchange the damaged item. Both times I set up delivery the items arrived outside the 4 hour window. Due to the hassle and impact the delivery time had on my schedule, I asked to be reimbursed my delivery fee (especially because I asked if I could pick up the sofas myself at the store and I was told no). While Ashley issued a small refund, I had to go to the store to get the money put back on to my credit card. Everything was a hassle from start to finish with them.

I NEED SOMEONE TO CALL US BACK! We have been trying to get our issue resolved for MONTHS now. No one will answer the phone or our emails. Our couch did not come with zippers on some of the cushions and now have popped open. There is no way to close them because there's no zipper. Disappointed with Missing Parts and Lack of Customer Service Ordered a 5-piece sectional on May 24th. Chaise lounge arrived missing parts. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, a resolution came slowly about 5 weeks later. Incomplete furniture caused significant inconvenience in the meantime. I love the couch itself, but likely wouldn't order furniture from Ashley's again due to customer service.

Purchased a couch and loveseat, having mechanical issues with the loveseat for over two months. The employees are great as is store management. The higher ups are so extremely disconnected from reality. If you go in to buy a chair they are now REQUIRED to give you an unwanted “rest” test. I feel terrible for employees, but the owners just do not care about the employees nor the customers experience if they have to get a manager involved if you do not want a new mattress. They always lose top talent because ownership is quite ignorant.

Just bought a powered sectional AFTER Troy walked us through the store , upstairs and downstairs, around the store 3 times because my wife is very picky and he walked us around with a smile the whole time. It's really bad experience I bought twin bed in middle of August when they delivered it was missing parts so I told them to take it back then I want to store in the same day and they said we will get you the right bed and in that day I bought 2 more sofa and they promised me the bed and the sofa will be delivered on the first week of September I needed the bed in August for my kids now we in middle of September nothing showed up so I decided to call and cancel the bed and mattress since I need the bed asap they told me if I want to cancel I have to lose 30% of the purchase price for stocking fee like it was my fault was delivered bed missing parts unprofessional customer service bad management their manager so rude I will never go there again I don't recommend Ashley for anything.

I purchased a couch through Ashley's based on the customer reviews. Needless to say I am very disappointed with my decision as this as been a complete nightmare working with the Ashely's team. I have been waiting weeks for them to come and pick up a couch that was just left at my home after it did not fit up my stairs. The delivery team damaged the couch (under warranty), and did not speak any English making it impossible to communicate with them. After many failed attempts to communicate they became frustrated and aggressive making me feel extremely uncomfortable. The day the couches were delivered I spoke with the sales manager Greg who made me feel confident that Ashely's would come and pick up the couch that was too large and place the order of my new item and have it delivered. Since that call the Ashley's CS team has made me feel anything BUT confident. I call multiple times weekly looking for updates and receive no action plan. I am very disappointed in my experience. Save yourself some time/peace and shop somewhere else.

We also opted to purchase delivery and set up as well as the 5-year protection plan which was a no-brainer for the price.

Update: the couch did indeed not fit in our townhouse after we explained the dims we needed to get this up the stairs. Measurements are important! We were not able to get the long sofa portion of our sectional into our living room, it says it's 92" where it's actually 93" and some change. We called Ashleys and requested the opposite side chaise dropped off since it's smaller than the sofa and have the sofa picked up. At first we were told we'd have to pay $300 for a delivery and pick up fee, which is insane since we are requesting a smaller piece of furniture delivered. Greg the manager is working with us to get us the chaise dropped off and the sofa picked up with the fees waived. We are thankful that Ashley's has reasonable managers like Greg who can see why paying $300 for a smaller piece of furniture would upset a customer. I was ready to send the whole couch back and ask for a refund, but Greg really made me feel valued and heard. Thank you Greg for your outstanding customer service! I hope to not have to leave another review because the fees did not get waived, but I will keep Yelp posted on Ashley's value in their customer's satisfaction with their service and products.

If i could leave a negative review i would. Don't waste your money and time buying from this store. The furniture may look somewhat nice but it will not last, you might as well go to walmart and buy yourself furniture from there. There return policy is trash, we bought a couch from here and it looked amazing in store it arrived in two weeks but it was the completely different color and just not what we expected we were really disappointed and called them to let them know what happened no one answered cause they closed so we went to the store the next day and asked them to return it cause we were truly disappointed and they said that we had to call them the same day it was delivered and they won't pay us our shipping fee back and that we had to pay an extra $150 for pick up and %30 of the price of the couch, talk about a spam we will not be returning the couch but instead be selling it on facebook market place which we will make a better profit back since these thief's don't want to give us our money back but instead steal more we're gonna make sure this story gets out to the public to help eachother out and prevent you guys from making the same mistake as we did .

Both the sales associate and store manager were extremely condecending and rude. They refused to give us a copy of their itemized quote, accused my wife and I of lying about a different store's offer, and insinuated that we were somehow acting immorally because we were trying to compare prices. The manager then said that he was perfectly fine with us taking our business elsewhere. I did take my business elsewhere, and I will continue to do so moving forward. I am a long time customer, having spent thousands of dollars at this store over the course of two decades, but I will not subject myself, my family, or my friends to being treated in such a manner.I highly reccomend that you shop elsewhere! I will NEVER go back.

Garbage company! Decided to splurge on a high quality kitchen table, picked one out and waited for delivery. Table came and was damaged, so were some chairs so we sent them back. A week later another table. This too was damaged . Then a third table came and you guessed it. Damaged. Today the FORTH table came and was HEAVILY damaged. Told them to refund our money then they informed us we have to keep the chairs since they were in our house over 72 hours., and they cost almost half of what the table cost. They could care less. So I'm out alot of money, with chairs I can't use. If you buy anything from Ashley furniture your CRAZY. We filing a report with the better business bureau, just please learn from our experience. BTW Google will not allow zero stars, its what they deserve
I have been going to another furniture store for years because of their friendly staff and fair prices, but after going here I’m now an Ashley Furniture Fan. LeSean helped my family and I pick out a dining set and living room set for our first home. Not only was he professional and kind but he truly was looking out for our best interest. Alma, another staff member assisted us and she was also pleasant and professional. Prices were fair and quality is exceptional! We left the store proud of our purchases and happy for the next chapter in our lives and Ashley furniture was part of it. Thank you LeSean!

Had a bad experience with this store. First off, they have these big "sales" in store but when you look at the online pricing it's actually cheaper there. They won't price match, they just say that their delivery is cheaper. That'd be fine but they use a 3rd party company to bring your furniture, and that company is awful. Showed up after 9p, 2 hours after the delivery window, without any heads up. They didn't put our furniture together properly either. The table we ordered was very wobbly and when I pointed it out to them they said they'd fix it before they left. 10 minutes later they said it was all good and left before I had a chance to check it. Upon inspection you could easily see the problem, delivery company was too lazy to actually fix it. Called the store to complain and was told to call guest services instead. Called there and I was told I'd get a call from the manager but never got a call back. Go somewhere else or order online, maybe the website uses a different delivery company.
If I could give zero stars I would. We were lied to upon our purchase and were told that we could remove the covers of our sofa to clean them, when arriving we were not able to remove them and the smell of the couch was unbearable. Later on, we find out that there are chemicals sprayed on it at the warehouse. Had to call 4 times in order to speak to a manager, who rudely helped us. Absolutely disgusted by this place .

Very poor management. Every thing you like on floor is not in stock. Finally I liked a sofa set which was supposed to be delivered and they rescheduled delivery without even contacting me and didn’t even bother letting me know that delivery was rescheduled. Came back asking for it and they had no answers . Canceled my order and it’s been 2weeks still didn’t get my money back

I hate to have to do this, but this has to be said...My parents went to Ashley store in Wind Gap Pa on 9/28 at 2:45 pm..And whoever was on call at the front desk, should be reprimanded..They were refused a sale item after waiting 10 min for the girl to get off the phone with another dissatisfied customer with furniture, their sales people, all young women didn't know what she was doing....They wanted a green vase and it was marked down with a red tag and they're were others there that were marked down from the same set, so they could have checked but sher efused to sell it to them.. They were going to pay cash.So to make a long story short..They didnt even apologize for the wait they had..And they didn't get the vase they wanted and they left..THEY WONT BE GOING BACK THERE!!..Unless they get new sales girls there..They were never treated like that anywhere and it needs to be said.Theyre senior citizens..I hope these owners that are in charge , take this and check out who they're hiring, cause they seem like they didn't care about getting a sale.

Beware buying anything from the Ashley furniture store in Whitehall I bought a bed there and it didn't accommodate my adjustable frame which the sales person told me it would we try to return it and they told us that someone had to come from the repair's department to look at it 1st we waited a week no one called I called back I told them I just wanted to return it and they said that the time for returning it is over now if we had 3 days to return it they would not let us return it but said we could purchase Something in exchange for the bed couldn't find anything So my husband had to cut the bed apart underneath to accommodate the adjustable frame it was awful all the work he had to do to accommodate the adjustable frame And thank goodness he could do it but he shouldn't have to have done that they should have returned it like their policy said! Also it is almost impossible to find anybody at their corporate headquarters I called places is for an hour to try to find someone and you cannot talk to anyone above them.

Bought items end of May. Was told 3 months guaranteed. That date has passed, and I keep being told a different date. Told them I'd rather have a refund, so I can spend my money elsewhere. Naturally, I'll have to go into the store to get that, and I will have to pay a cancellation fee. Buyer beware. The furniture is no better than any other store, but the service is far worse. Bobs had my furniture delivered early, and kept me up to date throughout the process. That's the place to go.

Tony was the best!!!!! Helpful, patient, respectful, and accommodating. His sense of style is also 👌. We spent about an hour hopping from sofa to sofa. He was understanding of our financial budget and gave us a 27% discount to accommodate that so we could get the couch with a chaise that we loved. We didn't feel pressured at all; he kept his distance and left us to chat when we asked. The building looks a little rough on the outside, but it's comfortable and temperature controlled inside. Accessible bathrooms which were clean. Not sure about ADA compliance as there is an upstairs and I did not see an elevator, but I wasn't exactly looking for one.
Dwayne was very friendly and took us around the whole store to try to find what we were looking for. He was very patient, looked up prices and availability of the furniture, best part was he offered us a golden ticket of 25% off. Great experience would definitely shop here again.

So here's the thing. We bought a couch set when we were in the middle of renovations with *multiple babies at home. My credit card went through (more than enough credit limit for a $1500 purchase) and the sale "went through" at the end of the order. We purchased it, it got delivered and they said have a nice day. WELL, in fine print it (at purchase) says the card will not be charged until delivery. Didn't know that!! I thought it went through!! It DIDN'T. Who sells merch without charging ppl?? Fast forward 2 years and we get a call from collections saying we owe for the couch!! What. I even paid it off on my CC. Sounds like a "me" problem, right? I don't remember one phone call, one message or one letter in the mail saying that we still had a balance at Ashley. Beware! I can't be the only one!! Some my fault, I get it, but companies should at least give one or two courtesy calls to say hey please pay me!! Go to R & Flanigan - we just purchased our latest couch and they were wonderful.
Terrible service! Once they get your money, these employees can care less about anything you say. Save yourself the stress and aggravation by going to another furniture store or even another branch of Ashley's.

Do not waste your time going to Ashley for furniture. I purchased a bed for my six year old child on august 2021. They told me it would be about three months until my furniture came. It came thanksgiving weekend and the delivery people would not put the bed together because it did not come with instructions (which are available on the website). They had taken everything out of the boxes and were unable to put it back in the boxes because they had ripped them open. After waiting months and many unreturned phone calls later I attempted to put the were miss15. In January they sent me some of the parts, thinking it was all of them, I called to have them come put the bed together and they said they would have the service team call me with a date to put the bed together. Instead many unreturned calls later I got a call saying they were still waiting on parts but they would call me with an anticipated delivery date and expedite the delivery since it’s been forever. The parts still aren’t here, don’t have an anticipated delivery date, meanwhile I have a pile of lumber sitting in my daughters bedroom. At one point, the store manager Greg, told me it is what is it. Tonight he told me he will reach out to the service department and have them call me. I’ve been told that 100 times. Do not buy from Ashley. They have no problem taking your money and not delivering your furniture in usable form. Now over a year later and they have yet to put the bed together yet still expect me to pay for it!!!!! And even better. They finally came to put it together on sept 15, 2022. They are charging me over $300 interest because I didn’t pay for the slats of wood they left in my house by July 2022 Ashley furniture is a scam!!!!
The tables and furniture seems cheap for the price. I felt like prey while the salesman stocked us throughout the store. We had to leave.
I ordered a sectional the first week of February and was fine with waiting the 12 weeks due to everything being on back order. However, I now have waited 14 weeks for my delivery. I had to call them to get an update. They finally called me this week to tell me will deliver 5/6. I removed my old furniture patiently waiting to only get a call that now their moving truck has broken down and I now need to wait another week or more for my delivery. There is no sense of urgency when speaking with the manager to only be told I’m sorry we’ll call you. This is the first and the last time I will ever purchase furniture from the Whitehall location. Very poor customer service!

As soon as you walk in the store they are really professional and willing to help. I placed an order and was given 12week to receive all items. Mattresses were delivered but they had to take the bunk beds back because after they delivered, parts were missing. The team took it back and I was advised I should get the replacement within a week. I have been calling ever since and I continue to get a different delivery date. Now May 4. No matter what you tell them, they are no help. You call the store and they send you speak with customer support and customer support can’t even do anything. The store is quick to sell you the items but when it comes to any disputes, they don’t want to deal with it. This was my first and last time buying from Ashley.
My sales woman was very professional assisting me ordering my couches but the delivery service was HORRIBLE! Damaged my door, had me file a claim then never followed through with the claim. I sent them 2 emails and cooperate finally responded saying there's nothing they can do. Their delivery men lied to save themselves from not having to get in trouble. I would of never ordered from Ashley's if I knew it was going to be this much of a headache. No compensation for my damaged door! Think twice about ordering from them and dealing with 3rd party unexperienced delivery services.
Israel Ruiz was our salesperson. This fine young man did his job and sold us the furniture. Israel, we don't blame you one bit for what happened next. The store manager is a sarcastic, rude, arrogant and snide remarking unprofessional. He has zero tact in response to complaints. He must be family because anyone else with this attitude would be fired. We ordered furniture June 12th 2021 and received a partial order in October. To be fair Israel did say Covid delays were 12 weeks. It took them 16 weeks but whatevs. Here's the thing. I just received the remainder of the order TODAY!!! April 2022. They had the nerve to refuse to deliver it and said we had to pick it up from the store. I spoke to the manager and said the least they could do is bring it to my house after this long wait and after I paid for delivery and assembly. He said (and I quote) "Not gonna happen", "You can complain to whoever you want", "Regional management won't take your complaints". The furniture was disassembled and in boxes! We were told we would just have to put together ourselves. Ashley Furniture WHAT ARE YOU DOING? When your outfit goes belly up and out of business don't blame Covid. It is your rude, untrained, unprofessional, and entitled management who is going to phluck it up for everybody.
We purchased living room furniture on Black Friday 2021they told us it would be about a month as of today March 28 2022 we still have no couches to sit on. Every time we go in there and we ask about our purchase they say to us it will take another two weeks and they always tell us that they can also refund our money if that’s what we want. I find that so sad. They should have been upfront with us with the time frame for delivery.

Terrible customer service. The rep watched me wrap and load my own furniture for pick up. After explaining the interaction to the manager he less than tactfully told me tough luck. I typically get my furniture custom made, and I can honestly say for the quality and service you get a much bigger bang for your buck than these large retailers. Never again.
Went for a VIP sale and bought a dining table, sofa, livingroom table and some accent chairs. Overall good experience, the sales guys allowed us to wander around and waa very helpful verying pricing and availability for us. The only concern ia the 12 week waiting period to recieve our items but we are aware most places are experiencing similar delays because of COVID. Will continue to purchase here.
The worst company in the history of companies. The furniture is junk. I bought a house full of furniture and there was not 1 good piece. They ALL arrived with some type of damage. Spending $12k in furniture it should have no damage. The original purchase was in Sept. It is now March. The have been out 5 times to replace furniture. They all get refused right from the truck as they all have damage too. How in the hell 5 times they can't get it figured out. Stay far away. Go to a discount furniture store and pay a fraction because that is the quality you get with ashley.

WORST customer service ever. General Manager of the store Greg Gentry is very disrespectful. First of all I placed an order in January and not going to get it till May. I called to check if they could send what ever is available, they refused to do that and told me I can pick up the table set from store which I thought would be assembled as the price I paid included delivery with assembly. Raymour & Flanigan across the street is way better as they sent me what ever was available with brilliant customer service. I went to the store to pick up the table set but Greg wasn't willing to listen to me. I was trying to find a resolution and even offered that the table set can be send along with chairs because I DO NOT want to waste time on assembly. He was very rude and just started walking away without listening or coming to any sort of resolution. I wanted to cancel the order because of his treatment but he said to charge me 30%. I put the order on hold and escalate the situation to corporate before filling official complaint to BBB. Let's see if the corporate is willing to provide some service.

My girlfriend and I just moved into our new apartment in Easton and needed furniture for our bedroom and living room. She was very knowledgeable about everything from dimensions, possible configurations, in stock availability and pricing! She gave us plenty of space and privacy to look around and make our decisions but was attentive as soon as we needed her. She should be a role model for how all sales should be conducted! WORST customer service experience I've ever received. Bought a couch Mar 2021 and the delivery people damaged my front door and put a hole in my wall while delivering it. After that I noticed they actually damaged the couch itself with red paint from my front door. Now it is an 2022 and I have never been compensated for the couch or the damaged. I spoke with the manager Greg Gentry about my displeasure and he was VERY disrespectful and belligerent. Please do NOT waste your time and money on these scam artists.

She was incredibly nice, thorough with her explanations, and knowledgeable about the furniture we purchased. We had been to Raymour & Flannigan, Bob's Furniture, LaZ-Y Boy, and a few other furniture stores that same day, and none have given us the same service or time as Alma!! We are very happy with our experience and highly recommend!!

Went to Ashley for a new mattress/adjustable platform. As soon as we walked in, Kim instantly greeted us with a smile and asked a few questions to help us find what we were looking for. She gave us the rundown on almost every mattress they had. She was very knowledgeable and listened to our needs. We went to two other places after Ashley to check all possible options. We ended up back at Ashley to make our final purchase. Lead time is 4-6 weeks, longer than the other locations, but customer service goes a long way and made our decision worth the wait!
Never go to Ashley’s the customer service is horrible and we had an issue with a delivery and there was a 30% restocking fee I understand there is a fee when it comes to returning certain items but 30% there are other places you can get better service and furniture at a better price will not be buying anything from this place again

So I go in 3 weeks ago to buy a new sectional for my living room. We meet with Jayla Collison which was very rude and you can tell she has a short temper. We decided on a sectional that we loved and we’re ready to buy but the atmosphere from Jayla was very negative she acted like we needed to beg her to make the deal instead of her working as a sales person. She easily lost customers that were easy to find what they’re looking for and ready to pay and make the deal. She gave me her card thinking we would come back but fortunately on the same day we went to Ashley store in Phillipsburg NJ and they were so welcoming and made the deal on the same sectional. This Allentown store needs to hire sales people with experience and with a good vibe. She’s a No No for this store.
The store Manager Gregg G is very unprofessional with customers. Gregg love's to hang up the phone on customers, curse, and laugh at them when they have issues. He is clearly there for a pay check and not to help his customers.
BUYERS BEWARE - We purchased over 9,000.00 worth of furniture which had been delivered in May 2021. Ashley delivery driver damaged stone wall and lawn when his truck ran off the driveway which was all captured with our security cameras. Called exactly 47 times to rectify this situation. Was given every excuse under the sun as to why no one will return my call and even spoke to the manager on several occasions. I recently viewed consumer affairs and see that I am not alone in this. I will never give Ashley furniture any more business. Being a business owner myself, if I damage someone's property I own up to it and rectify the situation.
My husband and I went looking for a power sofa/loveseat combo and came upon the Nex Gen . It's one of there best pieces of furniture that gives you everything your looking for for total relaxation and comfort. The only downside is the wait to get it as it can take weeks or months to get it in stock, but due to covid everything is a backorder.
Greg, the manager of the Whitehall store has been wonderful and accommodating regarding our delivery and rescheduled delivery. We are renovating and our timeline gets pushed back. We really appreciate Greg working with us regarding changing delivery dates. We are very excited to receive our future and will post pictures with it in our newly renovated home.
The absolute worst place to get furniture from, so bad I wouldn’t even get my dog a dog bed from them.They came to deliver the couch we ordered but brought the wrong one, rude on the phone. Made us wait a week with no couch since we were expecting the new one but they couldn’t do their job. Then the week after, on the day it was rescheduled for they said we were first on the list but their truck broke down. Heard nothing so we call back now they said they are at the first place they had to deliver too( which they said was us) and that they would be here shortly…… still nothing, call again and somehow they’re truck is still broke and they have to reschedule AGAIN! At this point I could have had my grandmother sew a new couch up for me . Terrible company and they should all be fired wouldn’t recommend
I am the least bit impressed with this store. First my invoice was wrong so they delivered the wrong pieces for a sectional. Only to have to wait another week for the delivery truck to break down and now have to wait how many more days for delivery. No apologies & bad attitudes. Instead of trying to help the situation the general managers words were “well it’s not too late to cancel” Never again!

Fantastic! Jayla was the perfect salesperson. She wasn't pushy. Professional. Knowledgeable. Personable. It took me a few visits to find what I wanted and I never felt awkward returning. I'm getting carpet put in and they were extremely flexible with their delivery date.
The worst customer service ever ! 1. Online is 30% cheaper . 2. Promised to get me my mattress in 2 days and they never did 3. I had to go 3 times to get the refund. 4. Promised to give me a call 4 times and they never did. 5. The manager was very rude.
Staff was very helpful at the store. Received our sectional in May. 2 weeks later the cushions started to fray. Called the store where we bought it and the extended warrenty and they gave me a number for customer service. Customer service instructed us to take pictures and email them. We did so. That took til Begining of August for a response. They asked for more pictures. And now our couch is coming apart and looks like he'll and no one will get back to us. NEVER AGAIN!
The whole entire stuff is a joke specially the delivery guy, him and his partner came to deliver a living room and threw all pillows on the grass, dirty the furniture with their hands because you can clearly see their finger prints on the furniture, smh they also dirty mall wall with black stains smh I called customer care team and they said they would reach back to me it’s been a month and nobody has contacted me, I’ve been calling them every week and they always put me on hold, and the store never ever picks up my calls don’t waste your time specially your money !

Aug 20 th DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. We spent $1200 on two bed sets three weeks ago. Nothing but sleeping and maybe four times physical active. When I realized it broke i looked at the materials its made from you can bite the "wood" and leave ur teeth marks without hurting ur teeth. On par with Bobs Furniture real CHEAP. Nov. 19th So today I called to confirm my daughter's trundle delivery. I talked to " manager" Greg I expressed my dislike of our first delivery in a clam and nice manner. He said in reference of the first delivery I should of refused it. Which I no all I wanted was to make sure I wouldn't have to wait another 12 weeks if it is damaged and he got offered and said he doesn't understand why people can't have an adult conversation I said I don't understand why mangers can't just say sorry and say I will try to do everthing I can. He then started to yell at me. WORST "MANAGER" EVER.
I was excited to receive my order but after two weeks of waiting, the delivery guy called to tell me he would not be delivering it that day. He said the truck broke down but he would come to me first in the morning before 11 am. The next day came and the furniture was not delivered in the morning as promised. I called the store and they put me on eternal hold and then transferred me to an answering machine. I called back several times and no one answered so I gave up and called the cell phone of the delivery driver who called and cancelled on time the day before. He said he would be there after he finished a 5 piece bedroom suite. When he came to the house his partner unloaded the bed and dropped it in the street. Knowing it would be damaged I said I didn’t want it. No one from the store reached out to me so after two days I called the store only to be transferred again. I spoke to customer care and they said they will get back to me within 72 hrs. That will be tomorrow and I still haven’t heard from anyone.
Took months to get my couch. Delivery drivers tore up and threw their trash on my lawn. Not much more to say, what a joke.
Terrible service! I ordered a dining room set back in the beginning of May. It was 12 weeks out, which I knew due to "Covid". It was going to be delivered on the 12th week. I received a call that morning that one of the chairs was damaged and wouldn't be coming, but confirmed they would be there between 12-4. I had someone coming to my house at 1130 to accept the delivery. They showed up at 11:14, knocked, and left. I called the delivery company and asked why they came early, she was very rude and told me the furniture has to go back to the warehouse and be scheduled for delivery again. Could be 72 hours until they call me to deliver. After a call to the store, they had it scheduled the following week. Again, 4 hour window. They came an hour and a half early. I was home this time to accept, but now I was missing the bench. After a visit to the store, they told me it was damaged when they put it back in the warehouse. It could take another month for me to get a replacement. Mind you, I still don't have the damaged chair. I arranged for the chair to be delivered to the store so I could get it sooner. Well, was supposed to be here 2 weeks ago, now the truck was full, so it won't be here until next week. For all this trouble, they credited me $80. WOW. Do NOT do business with this company!! They are terrible!! Update! August 25th and still no bench. It was to be here the 23rd. No phone call or communication at all!
Purchased the couch in MAY, waited til AUGUST for delivery . They brought me the wrong side chaise AND the delivery people jammed the bed so it doesn’t come out , called the store ….. they gave me a non working number to customer service because they can’t help me but they sure can take your money right ?! I will never ever in my life go to this company again !!!!!
Purchased a bedroom set in the whitehall store over $2,000. Received on July 26th a darker brown color than ordered. Told by their customer service it a manufactured tint issue, the lighting is the issue, transferred the escalation dept Chris who said I had 72 hour to contact them therefore nothing they can do added there only one color on this product, so the display faded?? that is not the one id ordered. Very dissatisfied!!!!
Their commercial are false advertisement, as I called to question my bill. That’s the answer the woman gave me. Good idea Ashley, you got me. But it will definitely be the last.

Very disappointed purchased our furniture March 15th. We expected 10 to 12 week delivery. July 1st I called they didn’t have all our pieces ,but would do a courtesy delivery of partial . Set up 2 deliveries first one the truck broke down second time they didn’t have enough drivers. They confirmed both appointments the day before delivery. Twice we moved all the furniture prepared for delivery. They canceled after delivery time was expected. They still didn’t have all our pieces and didn’t know when they would come in. . Finally I asked for a refund I can say the manager was very nice and processed the refund .
What an absolute disgrace. We ordered a sectional sofa and dining room set on January 2nd. The couch was delivered on 5/6/21 after being told it would be no more than 12 weeks! Yeah right! Sofa is great very happy with it. We called several times inquiring about the dining room set, they told us two weeks every time we called. It was finally delivered on 7/15/21 6 and a half months later!!! It was damaged upon arrival my husband said something to the delivery men and all they did was write down the customer service number to call. When we called and said that we were unhappy with the table and damage we were told that if we wanted to return the table it would need to be “reviewed” by management… our “request for return” was denied. I have tried calling to speak to management and of course no one is there to speak with me… All they can do is submit the request and it will again be “denied” I do not want a damaged table that I have waited over 6 months for. I will NEVER purchase furniture from Ashley Furniture again. They do not look out for the customer. They will do or say anything to make a sale. Absolutely disgraceful!
We stopped at 3 furniture stores in hopes to get a new sofa and they all felt like the typical used car salesman approach. Until going to Ashley and talking with Alex Q. We got some measurements, went home, then decided to make our purchase. All of it was easy, affordable, and worth going back again. Delivery time is like 12 weeks!!! But with everything going on, that’s to be expected. Will definitely be back.
I ordered a couch in March. They told me it would be 8 to 12 weeks for delivery. I had to literally set up for the beginning of June. The day of delivery they told me they could not deliver I needed to reschedule a month out. The next time delivery day came around they told me it would be delivered at 7:30 at night. 930 that night they told me it wasn’t going to be arriving. I called customer service and they were anythibg but helpful. No one could give me a time when I was gonna be delivered for a day. It ended up getting delivered four days later. I’m convinced it only got delivered because my wife asked for a refund if it wasn’t gonna be delivered that day. They said we would have to come to the store and it would be a hassle. That’s no hassle to go to the store to get my money back. In short the couch is nice delivery was horrible customer service was horrible I would not show up here again.

Gladys was great. She helped answer our questions and got us a tape measure. She didn't push us or crowd us at all. When we came back the next day after checking other stores, she was there and we knew we had the right match for our sofa and salesperson.
Didn't purchase because they do not price match - even their own website! The salesperson Kimberly was personable but the manager was extremely condescending. We walked out and ended up saving tons of money by buying direct on their site. .

Initially when we walked in, no one even greeted us or asked if we needed help, nor could we even locate a sales associate to help us. After we wandered, the piece we wanted wasn't in the store, so we decided to have them order it. Initially, they honored the 10% off coupon that was online, but then reneged and said they couldn't do that. Also, the store manager was extremely rude to me when I was questioning why the price was changing. Also, having minimums for different levels of financing is really annoying, especially when online, it says there are no minimums. Hopefully we really love this sectional, because I feel like dealing with returning it will be a giant headache if it comes to that.

Ordered a sofa that took 3 months to get. They called to schedule delivery which I took a day off work for. Then called a few days later to reschedule. Then called again a few more days later to give me the original day back. Finally the day before delivery they said I would get notified with a 4 hour delivery time. I got 3 different text messages with 3 different 4 hour window times. Tried calling to confirm and no one answers the phone. Furniture is nice but delivery is a hassle!

This is the second review of the same store and delivery of mine previous order. If you read my last review you would know that I did not receive my couch and they rescheduled me a month out. Today is delivery day. Or so I thought. I was scheduled for 3 to 7 PM for delivery. At 6:30 PM I was told it would be between 830 and 9:30 PM. It is 8:40 PM I just received a phone call saying my couch would not be delivered. This has been one of the worst delivery experiences I have ever had. I was told that customer service will be reaching out to me. I advise you to not shop at the store.It really does not make sense to me. If I failed to do my job I get fired. How are these people permitted to be so incompetent.

My boyfriend and I bought a table from this store. We moved to another part of PA so we asked them multiple times if they ship to the area we moved too and they said yes. Three months later we get a call saying it’s ready to be delivered and when they told us to confirm the address they said they don’t ship to that area. We had to wait another 3.5 weeks for them to ship it to a whole new warehouse to then proceed to deliver it to our place. After fighting on the phone with them because they were just going to refund us the money. Then, they finally deliver the table at 10:30 at night when delivery was supposed to be between 3-7 pm. The table is damaged in multiple spots. They did not take the table back and reassured us someone would come look at it and fix it. However it is not fixable the wood is dented and chipped in many places. No one seems to know what they are doing and now we are stuck with a damaged table and more waiting to fight to get a new table. It’s a quality assurance thing on their part and completely ridiculous. No one knows how to do their job. Safe to say I will never be buying furniture from any Ashely again and I will make sure everyone I know doesn’t either.

My grandmother ordered furniture in January when she was promised a 6-week wait. It's now the end of May, and her last piece of furniture finally came. That is WELL beyond ridiculous. I will never be shopping at Ashley's no thank you.
I went in the other day looking for a couch, but I was afraid to talk to a salesperson. I knew I was shopping on a budget and was afraid I would be laughed out of the place bc of not having tons of money to spend. A saleswoman named, KIM K. introduced herself and just told me her name and said I could ask her questions if I had any. Then she went on her way. That made me feel a lot more relaxed and changed my mind about trying to avoid the salespeople at all costs!! Because she didn’t right away start asking me a bunch of questions of what I was looking for and questioning how much I had to spend and all that I decided that I would seek her out to get some help. She was very cheery and down to Earth that I just went ahead and spilled the beans that I was shopping on a budget and asked if there were any couches she could point me to. We talked more and I could tell she understood my situation. I think bc of her understandingness, she went out of her way to figure out what she could offer me that I actually liked and something she could work out a deal for me to afford!! I would definitely seek out Kim, weather on a budget or not, when you go in!! She will definitely not be snobby or judgmental. You can tell she enjoys her job and just wants to help ALL people!!

My partner and I went to Ashley to look at furniture for our new home we are building. We walked in very overwhelmed at the selection. Many questions came to our head “what will match with what?” A lovely and wonderful associate came by with a big smile on her face. She could tell by the look on our face we needed help. On May 4, 2021, i was looking for couches at the Ashley Home Store on MacArthur Blvd., Whitehall, PA. I was greeted by an associate, Kim, who was very helpful and attentive. Kim lent us a tape measure and answer all our questions. She also gave us information about the furniture that we didn’t think of asking. Kim is an excellent employee of your store.
I ordered furniture here and they kept rescheduling my date for them to come and they still haven’t came really disappointed
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION! I ordered a 3 piece sectional the beginning of December and paid in full over $1500 and was quoted 12 weeks due to the delays from COVID. 12 weeks came and went and no sectional. My girlfriends and I called the store on multiple occasions only to be met with, "your sectional should be in by X date!" We then would call once that date came and ask if our order has came in, we would get the same answer, it was not delivered but should be in by Y date. This went on for 3 months. Once we received our sectional one of the pieces, an armless chair was missing its leg's. These had to be ordered and will take an addition amount of time to be delivered. The stores Manager Greg, is the most unprofessional, rude, sarcastic person I have ever had to deal with in a retail setting. Every time we spoke with him, he was short and obnoxious to us, it almost seemed like he was mocking us due to the fact that we did not receive our furniture on time and they had already taken our money. The last time I spoke with him he practically hung up with me after he did not like the questions I had asked him. I have left a formal complaint with the corporate office on the way he runs that store. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! I would post a 0 store if I could.

Gladys helped me in the purchase of my dining table. I really like that there were Spanish speaking workers it made me felt comfortable. Well I will have a new dining table after more than 8 years with the same one it's time for new one this one have parts broken... am happy
I understood the situation when I purchased in November 2020. Reality was, delays would be likely. When my furniture was scheduled for delivery, everything went well. Notification was sent when they were on their way. Two young men showed up, fully masked the entire time. They were polite, respectful, nice, and hard working. They had a great attitude. It is not their fault there are issues due to a pandemic. They did a great job and I was very impressed with them!
Took 3 months wait for delivery. Furniture was damaged upon delivery. The delivery team also damaged the furniture while bringing the item . The delivery team damaged the property. Ashley never responded to property damage complaint after many phone calls for over a month. Poor customer service. They never follow up. Worst customer experience ever!!!
I went to Ashley on January 3rd. I was assisted by a wonderful gentleman, hence the one star in my review. He was very helpful and I chose a wonderful 3 piece sectional with an ottoman. I paid for the couch and was told "up to 12 weeks for delivery due to the pandemic". Ok, no problem, I get that. Things may be backed up for a while. 3 months is a while to wait, but for my furniture, that's ok. I started calling the store about 3 weeks ago checking for updates. Each time I was given a new estimated date of arrival on the furniture. A day after each of those dates I would call back to see what progress had been made, only to be given a new date of arrival. My last call was on April 5th (I was told it would be in by then) and was told that my furniture would arrive by the 8th. I called today, the 9th, and was told "any day now. It could be any day from today through the 14th". At this point I asked for a refund and was told to come into the store. I called corporate and had to call twice as they send you to voicemail after 15 minutes. On hold for almost 30 minutes in total and the woman could not find my order (isn't this supposed to be a corporate number?). She then gave me a phone number of another store to try. I called them and was informed that each Ashley is independently owned and operated and I would have to go through my store. Both the corporate number and other number saw no reason why my order could not be canceled over the phone. Up until the point where they could not find my order, they were going to do so. I called my store back. Got voicemail 3 times until I finally called back and reached a sales associate. I asked them why it is not possible to refund over the phone and she said I have to be in store (I live 35 minutes from the store). When I asked to speak to the manager, he was very short and curt with me. In no way was my order going to be refunded over the phone due to liability purposes and that I have to be in store with my card. I questioned this as I had already bought my furniture and they should have my information to cancel and was told "you have bought nothing yet"....well sir, that does not explain the two thousand dollar charge to my card that you were happy to take on January 3rd, now does it? Clearly I purchased something, but was never provided with the product. As this seems to be the only Ashley incapable of refunding via telephone, I will be driving to the store to get every cent of my purchase back. Buyers beware. Do NOT purchase from this furniture store.
We ordered a living room set on Black Friday 2020 The estimate delivery day supposed to be in 12 weeks, today we got an updated that the delivery could be on April 24th and they are not sure. 20 weeks and they are not sure yet. Ridiculous service.

My boyfriend and I ordered a whole new bedroom set at the end of January. They estimated it would be awhile to get it delivered (which I wasn't shocked about, given COVID restrictions). The salesman was nice enough and the order process went smoothly. I wasn't disappointed until it came time for delivery. They called me to set up a date for delivery and we decided on a Tuesday in late March. They said I would get a confirmation text and call which would provide details of what time to expect them that day. When I received the text I realized the date was wrong. It was scheduled for the day before (Monday) between the times of 10am-2pm. I immediately called the store and explained that the date was wrong. They apologized and said it was their fault and they would try and contact the warehouse to change the date and time. This was on a Friday; 3 days before expected delivery. They told me they'd call me back as soon as they heard back... I didn't hear from them at all on Saturday so I called them again that evening and explained I could not do Monday and they had to change the date. They told me once again they were waiting to hear back... No call on Sunday, so I called AGAIN.. They told me they were not sure if they'd be able to change the date and time but, shocker, "they'd call me as soon as they heard back"... Monday morning rolls around and the Ashley Furniture truck is outside my house at 9:30 am.. I am just so disappointed that I told them I could not do this date for a reason. Both my boyfriend and I were working..and they made no effort to change the date that they scheduled wrong in the first place. Nor did they even bother to follow up.
The worst customer service in the Lehigh valley, Late on deliveries I ordered two bed room sets 7 months ago and I still have no furniture, Buyer beware , I also called to speak to the manager and he was a complete jerk , Spend your money at another location

1 star for the neatness of the store. The store associate immediately greeted me as I came in the door. When I mentioned I did not want to know the sales at the moment and I already looked online, he was rude and snapped "well they aren't the same". When I replied okay and asked if they were the same models and said again I was just looking, he scoffed and said they are. As I walked away to browse he turned and started gossiping with the receptionist about me, one comment was about me being cheap. Of course I am cheap, I am a newly single mother starting over and on a tight budget. I found the sofa I was looking at online, looked at it closer and left, and ordered it online instead of at the store like I was originally planning to do.

we ordered and paid for a sofa in October 2020, as of today (March 5, 2021) it has not been delivered; we were scheduled for delivery March 3 between 3 and 7 PM but as of 9 no delivery. We called the store several times between 7 and 8 PM to find out what was going on but only got a recorded message providing store hours. We gave up and went to bed. The next morning we found an automated voice message on our iphone that the delivery attempted at 10:15 PM. We had no idea because we were asleep. Besides horrible customer service we wonder if this company is recording sales not delivered as revenue? It so, this if a fraudulent accounting practice. Tom S.

Horrible I ordered a sectional in August of 2020 and here we are February 2021 and i still don't have my furniture we call and they keep giving DUMB excuses..They never call with any updates we have to call them .they haven't offered me ANYTHING in comparable or just offer ANYTHING period. we have furniture already so we aren't in dyer need but 8 months is absolute ridiculous ..not even a free lamp smh ..lol..
Never go here! Absolute amateur hour. First it takes them 8-10 weeks to deliver. Then they called and cancelled the day of my appointment when I called off work because they said it’d be delivered from 10-3, then they call today that instead of a 11-3 delivery now it's 3-7. So I called off another whole day instead of just leaving work early. Absolute trash company, I will never be going back and will tell everyone I know never to go here.
Completely understand all the one star reviews now. Their customer service in this Allentown store is terrible. I was never advised about not having the ability to price match from online store. There was about $140 difference from the store to online and was then told that they don’t price match. What a coincidence! I was then told, “do you want my employees to work for free “. Very professional. I could say alot more but I’ll keep it at that. I bought twice from Ashley’s and we will never buy from this Ashley’s ever again. They are terrible from top to bottom!! Ordered a bedroom set with an "estimated" delivery of 6-8 weeks at the end of August. It is now 1 week shy of 6 MONTHS later and still no bedroom set.. Also the WORST customer service, good luck finding the correct number to call as you get passed from operator to operator. I called once a week starting a couple months ago and the delivery date continues to be pushed back. If a salesperson tells you anything less than 20 week delivery they are lying to you. Really glad I didn't order a sofa set as planned. When I asked if there would be a discount off for the extended two month wait and was told can cancel order and can full refund....

Its a beautiful place but we couldn't get what we wanted so we went to Bob's discount store and found what we wanted way cheaper and we are both satisfied.

We were greeted in the door but given direction to just wander the store. No one was around to answer questions or direct us to what we were looking for. There definitely was a marked difference in customer service at Ashley vs other furniture chains in the area.

Decent prices during sales and nice staff. Edit: my original review was 4 stars but that was BEFORE my furniture was delivered. Believe all the negative reviews on here, because I didn't. All of the furniture had obvious damage upon arrival. One of them was even constructed incorrectly! Literally with the wrong pieces, making it unusable.. Getting this all fixed has been insane. They can blame the damage on the horrible delivery company they used but the incorrect parts are on them. I don't even know how they could build furniture incorrectly when they're a furniture store.
After purchasing a sofa with a “protection plan” from Ashley furniture -country junction my claim was denied because Ashley furniture employees never uploaded my purchase of the “protection plan”. Now I have a sofa with the fluff falling out the broken zipper because the laziness of employees. By the way don’t buy the protection plan it covers nothing.
Entrance is a little tricky. Once inside the space is ample and so is the variety. Attendants are polite and nice. Quality of the furniture is Ok.

The manager of this store Greg Gentry is rude, unpolite and it seems that he is not aware that customer service is essential for any business, unfortunately when the person that leads a store behaves like he does, it is difficult for the rest of the store to provide any good customer service, from the buying experience, delivery, issues with orders, etc. They have very bad policies for exchange, cancellation, delivery, repairs, nothing that will ensure the Customer satisfaction but only to protect their sales numbers. We will never buy furniture from any Ashely store or online.
Over price despite the 60% promotion
I will never order anything from this place. It took 3 months to bring me a wrong order and it took 6 more months for the right order to come only to tell me that the boxspring is missing and now I have to pick it up at the store.If you are looking to buy furniture never go to Ashley Im so disapointed a them!
Update to prior review: Ashley furniture provided me a replacement rail and although I'd have liked someone to come and install it I was just happy that I would have a complete bed to sleep in. However, when I took the mattress and boxspring off I found that when the rail cracked it had caused a piece of wood to splinter off of the headboard so I wasn't able to attach the new rail. I also found the middle slat and attached leg had both cracked. The protective pad at the bottom of the leg was no longer on the floor, the actual leg was against the floor and caused gouges in my hardwood. I've posted pictures of all three legs showing the two whole (unbroken) legs caused no damage to my floor, so clearly the broken leg caused the damage. The customer service rep confirmed I've only had the bed about 5 months. It seems they think these beds are disposable and its common to buy a new bed every 6 months or so. They also said I saw the floor model, I knew what I was getting. I'm not a carpenter. I bought this with good faith that they would make and sell a product that would last at least a few years. To be fair, they did offer to replace the broken pieces, but I don't want a bed that they aren't even surprised only lasted a few months. They clearly knew this was a piece of junk. I asked several times for a refund on JUST the bed, but was told no each time. I spent about $3000.00 at that store in one day. And all I want is the refund for the bed. That's all. I'm still happy with the rest of my furniture. I'm absolutely broken hearted to the point of almost tears on the phone with customer service about my floor that my grandfather put in in 1949 and has little in the way of damage until now. Honestly, I don't know how this company and its employees sleep at night. I'm so angry, but even more than that I'm sad and disappointed. I guess I'll enjoy the bonfire I can make with this bed.
I had a terrible experience with this store I would not buy another Thing from this company!! I bought bedroom furniture and living room furniture from them when it was time for delivery only half of the merchandise was there they admitted they made a mistake but I offered to take the floor model and they made me arrange my own delivery and pay for which I paid for already!! They made a mistake and I ended up with used furniture, paid $125.00 for delivery and had to help with the moving!! Where is the customer service in that!! Don’t shop here!!!

Stay as far away from this place as possible. I went into the store looking for a bedroom set during their 50% off Veteren's Day sale in November 2019. I ended up buying a bedroom set that I loved and a living room set that was 11 pieces in total including decorative pillows. They worked with my budget and all seemed right in the world. Because of the huge sale there was a pretty long wait for delivery so I wouldn't have the furniture by Thanksgiving, but should have had it for Christmas. I could tell this might not even happen, but honestly for the price I paid I was ok with that. I didn't NEED the furniture, but I was buying our first sets of new furniture we'd ever owned. Fast forward to mid-December and I have heard nothing from the company about delivery time. I start calling and cannot get a straight answer. Again, I'm not too concerned, I'm a pretty laid back person and have other things I can worry about if I need to worry. New Years rolls around and nothing. I finally call, get an estimated delivery that's somewhere around mid-end of January. Again, still not too upset because I have to still figure out getting rid of my old furniture. Then BAM! they're delivering it and I have no one at home to wait for it and still have rooms full of old furniture. It's cool. I'll just move things around. Now, before this delivery date was provided I had spoken with the manager, Germaine, who was a very nice, personable fellow. He assured me that if I didn't cancel my order (which is what I'd finally decided to do) he'd issue a $200 refund. Ok, sure, let's keep the order. Everything was delivered and set up. 17 days ago (less than 6 months after getting the bed) the rail on my BRAND NEW bed snapped in half while I was leaning against the side. NO ONE WAS IN THE BED. Ok, covered under warranty. Nope. After 16 days of not getting any reply and after making at least 7 phone calls I finally get an email saying that as a courtesy they're going to order and have a new rail shipped, but no one is coming to install it because its not a manufacturer defect. Now, I understand what they're saying, I'm not an idiot, but come on! Take some responsibility for what is clearly shoddy materials. Let's back up to my refund. I have six months to pay on this furniture. The refund has not been applied as of me writing this and when I asked they told me not to pay the amount in full until the refund is applied. Guess what that means? If I don't get the refund and hold off on paying this I lose my 6 month no interest deal. I will have to pay interest on not just further payments, but all the accrued interest up until now. I have both Ashley Furniture and the credit card company looking into this. And I could have paid this off at the beginning of March, but was told not to. Now let's bring this back to today. I call customer service because I'm not happy with no one coming to replace this broken piece and I will admit I got a bit heated with the customer service rep on the phone, but I did apologize. She hung up on me mid-sentence. I kid you not. I'm still not happy with this being deemed not a manufacturer defect because clearly something is defective if this rail snaps in half when there is no one in the bed. My 14 and 12 pound dogs weren't even in the bed! And there was a very good chance that when the rail snapped and landed on the floor that my toes could have been crushed. Again, I am not a "Karen", I have worked retail and it's a terrible job. I will go above and beyond to be super sweet to retail employees and customer service employees, but this is just an unacceptable response. The bed was less than 6 months old and there was no weight on the bed! I am so upset over their lack of responsibility over defective materials. I can't stress to you enough how far away from this place you should stay. A good deal is worth nothing when the service and product behind it is complete garbage.

Great experience. The woman that greeted us at the door was friendly and upbeat. She took us to exactly where we needed to go and and then said to let us know if we needed anything. I love that. Wish I got her name.
Very bad experience We bought a couch about 3 months ago along with there so called premium worry free service warranty to cover any damages. Well the fabric is fraying separating from the cushion. Rep on the phone was rude and said it was not covered because it was not a stain, burn, tear, rip or puncture. Of course they offered to send a tech out with me paying out of pocket expense. When I tried to reason with the rep she continued to get louder saying pay for a tech to come fix it. I am much smarter when I purchase these types of services. However kudos to the sales reps because they got me this time but never again I promise you that.

I admit I’m not the easiest person to deal with. I even complain about things that I can’t control. I gave the sales person and the manager a bit if a hard time over price. Never shop at Ashley furniture on mcarthur rd. They told us everthing was 50% off then charged us like 500$ more than their online price. When we noticed they would not price match. And it would have been a 30% restocking fee. So we are stuck with the over priced furniture. They trick you into thinking you are getting a good deal by marking up the prices and saying it's 50% off. Even the warranty was more. Horrible buisness!!!!!

A 0/5 rating is necessary for this specific location, especially for the unprofessionalism the “manager” treated a good reliable customer. All of the other negative reviews are spot on. We purchased a couch for a decent chunk of money then go home to realize we found it to be cheaper on the Ashley furniture website. The price on the floor at this location was around 6,000 dollars for a 6 piece sectional. On the ashley furniture store this exact same 6 piece sectional was 1700.00, not sure where they got this price from at the Whitehall location. We went back the next day to find that the manager was nothing but rude and disrespectful yelling and raising his voice telling us that his prices are to pay the people that work for him and his electric bill. I have shopped at this exact store before and had nothing but great service however, having a new owner shows. I was also told that we paid more for our piece of furniture because of them providing us the experience of coming into the the store and sitting on the furniture. If you are looking for the experience of dealing with a sleazy used car salesman then this is the place to go if you want to be over charged for your furniture and treated like garbage. I would not send my worst enemy to this location and the new management shows.

Steer far far away from this place. Bought $2000 worth of furniture and we still don't have the whole set 2 weeks later. Customer service is a joke, the manager apparently thinks he's some corporate officer that common people should be "privileged" that he took our call. Yes, privileged, that's an exact quote. Ashley furniture will never see another dime of my money.
We were at the store looking at some living room furniture and after haggling over prices between Raymour and Flanigan prices and theirs on the same item my wife notices their sale paper which states it's 65% off. Wow, what a waste of time. In the end we purchased a tv stand and then later I find it online on the Ashley web site for over $100 cheaper. The whole pricing scheme is a scam with the percentages off pricing. They are jacked up so high that you aren't saving squat.Will be calling for refund today on that stand.
Terrible buying experience. I bought a full sofa and small chest a few months ago and only just got the delivery recently. They do not reach out and let you know of delays or anything regarding what is going on unless you reach out to them proactively. They did not meet their own stated timeline of delivery within 2-6 weeks. My advice - buy from literally anyone else.
Cheaper Prices Online (Amazon and Ashely Website)!!! Went there looking for a dinning room table and was given a price that they say was the lowest they could go. The staff was very unprofessional but we still purchased the table and later that night found the table on Amazon through Ashley furniture for $900 cheaper with free prime delivery! The table was also over $600 cheaper on Ashely's website with shipping. We called to address our concern and after 20 minutes on hold, the manager on duty claimed she couldn't match the price or go any lower and that we would have to return to the store to cancel within 72 hours. The next day we returned and when asked why we were cancelling I clearly stated that the online prices were $900 cheaper. We were quickly escorted by the store manager to his private office where he basically scolded us for announcing this in front of customers as "he has a business to run". We basically had a 30 minute conversation about how the store is independently run and how we should feel obligated to buy from him as he had employees to pay. I told him it is not my problem to pay an extra $900 so he can run his business. It felt like we were in the principal's office and I would have walked out but I had not yet received my refund. He then tried to price match but claimed the system wouldn't let him and he finally canceled the order. Will never return but will get the same furniture I want online.
Paperwork errors, late delivery, and damaged furniture,with no help from customer service. Furniture came outside the delivery window and came while I was preparing dinner and couldn't inspect the furniture. I called the next day and was told to send photos, which I did immediately. After numerous calls and emails, I was told the photos were received, then they weren't. I sent pics at least three times over several weeks, still no repair, still no help. I put this off as long as I could, but it's obvious no help is coming. This would have been zero stars, but I do like the furniture. I'm only sorry I didn't buy it elsewhere. This is an update: By now i have sent at least five photos of a hole with stuffing coming out. Got a call just yesterday, January 7 (bought the furniture in September) that someone was going to fix it, but had to call the store. Did that and THEY ASKED ME FOR ANOTHER PHOTO......so they could order a part (needle and thread?) By the way, this Lucy-with-the-football thing has been going on for months. They're going to fix it, then they aren't. I swear this is because I gave them bad reviews. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE

Sadly we left and I did in fact purchase the set we wanted for half the price but not from their online store, but Amazon! Free shipping too! They bring right into your house no extra charge. Sorry Ashley’s you need to step up your game and earn customers not lose them! I will Continue to use your showroom to see and feel the product, but go online and order it!

Begin with Germaine/Jermaine who forgot he was speaking to a customer on the phone today. Arrogant and was not interested in a resolution. To sum up what happed associate gave my folks the run around for a month did not tell them an item was discontinued after they purchased it, then when they called waiting to see where there items were an emloyee at the store had the audacity to say she'd couldn't understand because of a accent? I went in spoke to a sales manager, Greg who assured a credit on the account for the store failing to let my folks know the item was discontinued. Jermaine who is his manager told me there will be no credit as promised by the sales manager, Greg which I also have in an email. Wow after speaking to Jermaine I'm still unsettled what has happened to being honest people and ones who hold their word?
Since October 12/19 waiting for a bed that never ends up coming completely is horrible as they treat you after you order something you don't get what you expect and you can't claim because they are offended, my husband and I sleeping in an air matress because I can't cancel my order either this is incredible I would never buy anything from this horrible store.
We've purchased from this location twice. They have great prices and excellent customer service. During both visits, we were able to browse without being hovered over and when we needed help and had questions, staff was always available. We will definitely shop here again!

Every time I called I was put on hold, and when I finally got someone to speak the story changed from musing a part for a railing, to missing the entire bed and night stand. I felt like a criminal asking questions, and not a customer who is spending lots of money. When I said to the girl who answered the phone that their customer service was not up to par, I was told “ok”. I don’t think I will ever set foot at Ashley in Whitehall, even though I was planning to furnish my home. Sad place. Management is poor quality.

I was a frequent customer of this store in Whitehall. Unfortunately, my relationship with this store has ended. I purchased a bed on 10/22/19. When I went to the register to pay, I also inquired about matching the price that was listed on the Ashley webpage. I never expected or experienced what happened next. The manager (I assume), Germain, gave me a 15 minute lecture on price matching. I can't quote exactly what was said, but he went on and on about how he wants to keep the store in business and give good customer service. (face to face assistance). He said that you don't get that ordering from a website. Also, that all the other stores are going out of business due to the on line ordering. I really felt like walking out the door and not giving "his" store any of my business but the bed was exactly what I wanted. I had seen it on the Ashley website. The icing on the cake was the charge for picking up the furniture instead of having it delivered. (they did waive the fee eventually). Buyer beware of this store and their management.

Terrible experience, ordered a sectional. Was told 4-6 weeks at the latest (already a very long time to wait) then was delayed at 6 weeks to 8 weeks. Then when 8 weeks rolled around they delayed it again, we canceled the purchase yesterday and we bought from Raymour and Flannigan today , we will have our sectional in 4 days. This place is a joke. Don’t waste your time.

This is my second review because I have never had such a poor customer service experience. In my original review I described numerous cluster screwups, but now I think they are just jerking me around. On November 4 I got another call from their &"guest services&" asking me to send FOR THE FIFTH TIME photos of the damage. I told them I&'d fix it myself because I wasn&'t sending anymore pics. A short while later, I got another call saying someone would personally come to view the damage and remedy the problem. I repeat, this was on November 4. Pretty sure no one is coming.

Refuse to except a gift card issued by corporate. I had to retrieve and load the furniture I wanted. Some one that worked there did help me carry an item down a flight of stairs. The girl that worked there was polite and helpful. This is about par for every Ashley store I have done business with. Do not finance with Synchrony bank!!! The interest they will hit you with is insane and shouldn't be legal.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Horrible service. They don't listen to you. They don't fully explain anything. Most of all, they deliver the wrong stuff. Went to purchase a new bed and was hassled, practically almost forced to buy the bed that night. Went to check out other stores and options, returned to Ashely to buy the bed I had looked at. Sat there for almost 5 hours while the lady processed my paperwork. She also was trying to help 4 people at once and was not giving me any updates. In return they gave me a free pillow, worth $90, but definitely not worth my time. Finally after all was said and done, they told me that they would call with a scheduled date for delivery. About almost A WEEK later, they called for delivery, when I purchased the bed I was told the base and mattress would be delivered on the SAME day. Upon further talking, I was told the mattress would be delivered one day and the base the next week. How would that make sense???? A mattress but no base???? After arguing on the phone about delivery, they finally stuck to their word and would deliver both at once. Today, delivery day, they have delivered the right base, but the WRONG mattress. This is absolutely ridiculous. They are not reputable, or trust worthy, definitely not worth my money!! Horrible service. Horrible atmosphere. Definitely not the BEST prices around. Over priced for no reason. Will never be spending another penny there. BS.

I wouldn’t recommend shopping with this store to anyone. We went there on a Tuesday to see what they had left over from the sale. We were told that you can’t buy anything off the floor and that the sales associate would have to order the dining table set we wanted. We came back in today; Sunday; just to find out that the floor display table had been sold to someone. We then decided to not make a big deal out of it and went to look for another table. It was $930.00 in store regularly, excluding their Labor Day sale. The Labor Day sale brought that price down to $460.00. The price listed on Ashley Furnitures website was originally $499.99 and it was marked down to $349.99. When I asked the sales associate why the prices online were so much different in the store, she went and got her extremely rude Manager. The General manager not only complained about people always trying to get the online sales price, but also sarcastically asked “if it’s cheaper online why did you come into the store”. He eventually brought the price down to the online price but then we’re told that no purchases under $600.00 can be put on our Ashley card. Total waste of time.

On Saturday 8/30/2019 my husband and I were mattress shopping. I found this mattress on the online Ashley store and wanted to try it out. We arrived and were greeted by a salesperson and she asked if we needed help. My husband quickly asked for the mattress section. She walked us right to the mattress we wanted to try. She answered some questions, everything was going great and we were ready to purchase. Someone called her over to ask her a question, she excused herself, said she would be right back and that was it... we waited about 20-25 minutes for her and nothing. We saw her walking with these other people, smiling and helping them and she completely forgot about us. I wanted to say something but felt like what's the point? She knew we were waiting for her, she saw is standing by their computer and we walked right in front of her when we were walking out the door. I even stopped about 2 feet away from her and said to my husband let's go. She looked at us and kept talking to the other person. I shopped here once and was treated great. Full attention was on myself and my husband as we had questions and finally decided on a dining room set. Reason we came back. This time I we were treated like we didnt matter. This entire experience ruined this store for me and we will never be back. We took our business to the Ashley store in Phillipsburg NJ. It was worth traveling and paying the toll coming back to PA. Before this store opened, that's where we would go for our furniture. We never had a bad experience there. I would recommend that store to anyone. Unfortunately, it takes 1 person to ruin an experience for someone and she was it. I didnt get her name but I remember she looked Hispanic, had brown hair tied back and she was younger. To her thank you, because of you acting like my husband and I didnt count and our money was worth nothing... I went to a great store, we purchased our mattress along with other items that we should be receiving within a couple of weeks.
Got a great deal on a dining room table that saved me a trip to Lancaster. I also enjoyed shopping without someone following me around the store! Not sure why the reviews for this store are on the low side. We bought a sofa and 2 recliners about a year ago and still love them. We were shopping for another room in our home and decided to go back. We met with Kodi, the salesman, and he helped answer all of our questions without a hard sale of any kind. It takes a little while to check out, probably because they double check everything to ensure the order is correct, but other than that, the people are friendly and the prices are competitive. We will buy here again.
Out of the few furniture stores in the area, Ashley's offered the best all around! They had great sales, good furniture options to choose from and great customer service! Our rep Sue was great, she answered any questions we had but also allowed us to shop around ourselves without constantly following us! We had a very pleasant and successful experience! Would definitely recommend!

We were searching for a twin size foldout bed for our camper and Ashley Furniture was the first place we stopped. We meet salesperson, Dalyss, and told her what we needed and she walked us directly to the exact piece that we needed. Dalyss was amazing answering our questions and letting us take as much time as we needed to look it over. Amazing experience and I highly recommend stopping in of you are looking for furniture.
This Ashley Fruniture Store is the best. All the associates are friendly and available with whatever questions you have, Sue Kay has helped us furnish most of my house. They always have great deals and are very friendly. We have been to other furniture stores but always keep coming back to this location when we buy something.

By far the best shopping experience we ever had. Kate and Kobi were amazing to work with. The service we received was nothing but exceptional. Greeted by Kate when we first arrived, she led us to the sofas and explained all the details and answered all questions we had. Kobi was super friendly and helped us pick out the perfect accent chairs and sofa tables. Overall we had a wonderful time shopping and the prices were right in our budget. In the future, this is the only store we will shop at. Highly recommend!
We have purchased from them before and we’re very happy with our bedroom furniture and when we had issues with our mattress they went above and beyond to be sure we were happy. Everyone working at the store was very nice but do not get duped. At the store their prices are outrageous and they make it seem like they&'re haggling with their manger to give you a better price, don&'t fall for it. We wanted to buy a living room set we found at the store but it was expensive so we took a few days to decide. During that time we went onto their website and found the whole set $1,500 cheaper. When we went to the store to inquiry about this and ask them to price match, well I never heard such bs in my life. They said that it is a third party that sells the furniture online even though it&'s Ashley furniture&'s website and you can&'t get the insurance (we didn&'t want it anyway) and that the delivery is unreliable and they dump your furniture on the curb. That was not true at all. We ordered every piece online and the deliver service was great. They came on time and even helped us set it up. It is ridiculous that Ashley furniture would make their prices so much cheaper online and then force their salespeople to try to suck you into paying double or triple. I gave them two stars only because of their employees. They were very nice and patient and a salesman who was not ours still took the time to explain the set to us. Even if you buy at the store you still need to get the furniture delivered and pay for it so save yourself a lot of money and shop online.

This store is insane , I went there to get a sofa that I saw online for $549 . And in store the price is close to $800 . The think that drives me crazy is that the manager won’t approve a price match ... the exact same product overpriced in store by a crazy margin . And another thing is that they have no sales anymore like they used to .these new owners can shove it .... I will be taking my business across the street to Raymore and Flanagan from now on .
Do not go yo Lazy Boy, ever! Worst customer service at this store Order a chair takes 6 weeks they call to get final payment and schedule delivery then they tell you it's damaged. Schedule it to be delivered 2 weeks later, still damaged 2 months go by and nothing I have to go to store to find out wtf. Part just came in they claim & will call in two days , again nothing. We purchased a dining room table set several months ago and recently purchased a complete bedroom set. We are very pleased with Ashley Furniture at Whitehall, PA. We are now about 90% Ashley Furniture in our home. We love the styles and quality. This location also assisted with a replacement part for a recliner that wore out after years of continued use. Both of our recent purchases were arranged with Alex Q., very pleasant and knowledgeable sales associate. During our recent transaction, we also met Tina, the location Manager. She was very knowledgeable and wonderful to talk to. During our conversation, we learned that this location and several other Ashley HomeStores have changed ownership in this region just a couple months ago to a better more established Ashley ownership who promotes exceptional service. If you have been here and had a poor experience as other posts have indicated, you should revisit the store. I hope you will see the change and have a great transaction like we had.

So sorry that I purchased here. Ordered a dining room set. Table delivered was damaged. Server was not put together properly by delivery company. Fast forward 2 months since my purchase. Still waiting for replacement table. Repair order for server has taken almost 6 weeks. 2 appointments cancelled by them after I cleared my schedule to be home for them. Still trying to get another appointment. I purchased protection plans too. Hopefully I never have to use them because I know it will be a huge headache.

Very good experience - young salesman, Alexander Quaglieri, helped me to find just what I wanted. He was very kind and patient with an elderly person. The two girls at the desk were very sweet -they all made my visit very, very enjoyable.
Walked into Ashley with some ideas and Bob O'Malley ran with them, he gave all his recommendations and actually listened to what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend if you are in need of furniture to get in touch with him!

Went in today to see if the coffee table I have been looking at went on sale.. Regularly priced at $599.97 as I located it in the showroom, I noticed all these signs with a red slash through a higher then normal price on furniture . I found my coffee table and to my surprise the regular price is now $1079.00 With a red slash through the price. Are you joking? Do you not think people wait for sales and watch the price? The sale price was $479.99 last time, and with your "up to half off" sale with the "Red slash" it will still be close to the original full price of $599.97. As somone that has a credit card from this store, I can tell you that I do not trust there sales standards. Very dishonest.

I am giving 5 stars for the customer services and I usually buy my furniture from Ashley home store which are good and quality furniture that last long. the only problem is the price. I feel the furniture are expensive and don't believe in the discount, I still feel like I paid more money for the furniture. I wish I could get good discount. I will recommend the store regardless of the price.
Upon walking in we were greeted right away by a very nice and professional gentleman. As we walked around we were not hounded by sales people which was nice, however, we were approached every so often just to make sure we didn't have any questions. It was a very nice atmosphere and I will definitely return for future purchases.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here! We bought a sectional, loveseat, ottoman, and we even bought a dining room table - which we didn't expect to buy but did anyway! We went in on 5/13 and had a great experience with Kay. It was such a relief to be able to walk around and then come to Kay when we were ready - we just had a horrible experience at lazy boy where the saleswoman literally drove us out of the store. So we came to Ashley furniture with an already sour experience but Kay turned it around and we left so happy! We can't wait for our furniture to arrive!!
The lady Tina that was running the store was very very rude to me and very nasty she lied to me and told me I couldn't finance and get a discount and I went to another store and they did it she is ignorant and unprofessional she should not work there and treat people so disrespectful.

I went to the Ashley store in Whitehall, Pa to check out an item I've viewed online. Alex Q greeted me right away and walked me to the entertainment center I was inquiring about. He was knowledgeable and honest about the product. I didn't feel pushed or forced to buy any warranties (like you get in most places) and was given an option to return if I decided to get one. Tabatha checked me out and was very personable and pleasant. They both apologized for the store advertising they were open until 9 on Saturdays, but was actually closed at 8 as I went at 8:10pm the night before. The manager Tina was also pleasant and her and Tabatha made sure my needs were met at the end of my transaction. I overall had a good experience!
Went in there looking for a new large sectional and walked out with absolutely no intentions of coming back to this horrible store. Can someone train them on what customer service is and how to deliver it? It's not rocket science!!!!! This older black woman who thought she was the queen of the world approached us and asked if we were finding everything ok, I said yes of course, we are being helped, because I did not want to waste her time of they run off of commission!!!!!! She barked back I did not ask if you were being helped, I asked if you were finding everything ok. I said yes......we are trying to hurry because you close in five minutes. She again snapped back well we are already closed and our doors are locked. IF YOU ARE CLOSING EARLY THEN DONT ADVERTISE A DIFFERENT TIME ON YOUR DOORS. WHO TALKS TO SOMEONE LIKE THIS?? Yep, never again, I'll take my business somewhere else!

I love my new furniture from here. They delivered in a timely manner and they were very careful and cleaned up after themselves. With our furniture we bought a 5 year warranty. And when we went to use the warranty they gave us a run around and said someone else bought out Ashley's and they wouldn't honor the warranty that I paid for on my furniture. I won't buy from here again.
