We were waitlisted for 3 + months for a dining table then it showed up damaged. We waited another month for a replacement and that was also damaged. This business creates and sells such low quality furniture. Save your money and go else elsewhere!!!!
From the salesperson to the two men that delivered my item service was exceptional. No pressure whatsoever at the Showroom like happened to my wife and I showrooms we had visited before going to Ashley furniture. The sales associate went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our purchase a month to and she allowing with Ashley furniture to be highly commended for their professionalism and their courtesy. As far as the delivery, it was exceptional as the delivery personnel. I know they had more deliveries to make but regardless they were in no hurry and took their time and made sure my furniture was assembled correctly and then explained everything to my wife and I cleaned up every piece of garbage that came from the furniture. They are to be commended as well and I will definitely be visiting Ashley furniture in the future and I would highly recommend Ashley furniture to anyone who reads this because you would not be disappointed.
From start to finish everything about the store and customer service is truly about the customer. The delivery drivers are conscientious, courteous and very helpful. Thank you, it was an awesome experience.

When shopping in the store my sales lady was totally awesome , with her input I selected an living room set that I'm in love with. Today, when the deliver personal arrived that were great. My furniture was set up quickly and efficiently. I felt bad for then because it was 90 degrees outside.

Sales associates and delivery personnel were nice and helpful. Minor damage to doorway frame that wasn't expected. The package was a very tight fit and more time into seeing what might cause a issue would have been helpful.

We were shopping around for a sectional, and noticed Ashley was having a President's Day Sale so we stopped in. I think it was just my husband's excuse to get the free popcorn and bottled water they offered.😂 We received excellent customer service in the store. Our sales associate was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. After purchasing, I was kept me up to date on my delivery- and they arrived on time! I thought for sure I'd spend half of my Saturday waiting around for our new furniture to arrive. Glad we went to Ashley! We will be repeat customers for sure.
The workers in the store were nice, pre-sale, but it's all down hill from there. The piece I bought was such bad quality, very disappointing. the delivery guy was rude. I'm trying to resell the furninture now because it's not comfrotable and embarrassing. Friends had warned me about not dealing with this company, shoudlve listened.

The computers were down every time we dealt with the store, whether it was ordering or picking up our furniture. When my husband and father and law went to the store to pick up our order, the staff was incredibly rude. We are doing financing with an Ashley credit card. Once we pay our furniture off, we will be closing our card and will not use Ashley furniture again.

The store experience was fine. The woman who greeted us and completed our transaction was great! However, although they remained professional and friendly, the delivery team was not aware that our couch was to be placed upstairs, and it showed in their reaction. The delivery team would benefit from knowing beforehand if they are carrying heavy, bulky, awkward furniture up flights of stairs, etc.

Furniture is good quality, prices are good too. When couch was delivered, they didn’t even try to get it inside. They just looked at our door and said “yeah that’s not going to fit, you’re going to have to take the door off” and then left. The couch slid right in; we didn’t have to take the door off.
Delivery was not only on time,but a day early in anticipation of the pending snow storm which was a wonderful surprise! Both delivery men were courteous, respectful,and very professional. I’m happy!

This was a very easy purchase. I added an item later that ended up not working. I was able to return it without a problem with them picking it up. I would recommend and return to them in the future. My sales woman, Susan was excellent and Mike is a get it done manager. Susan answered my questions about the return, guided me to the proper department and then followed through after.

Our sales representative, Susan Sawka, went above and beyond to help me and my boyfriend. She was extremely sweet and answered every question we had. We entered the Ashley Homestore to look for a couch and loveseat set we wanted from their website but walked out falling in love with a different set. Within a week, we were offered huge savings and exclusive discounts and settled with our dream couch. Delivery was prompt and very helpful as we opted to assemble on our own. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
The store is huge. I went in specifically to find a certain item. The staff were huddled at the centrally located office counter having a clique chat and didn't care about a customer walking by. Finally, someone asked "Do you need help?" Silly question.
If I can give something worse than one star, I would. They are the worst. They canceled my order without informing me and when I replaced the order again since I already got part of the initial order and I want my furniture to match, they scheduled the delivery way late. They didn't do anything to fix that or compensate me .. simply, they are so bad and don't do anything to their customers.
The sales lady was so nice. Very knowledgeable and helpful. She really made us feel good about our choice and went out of her way to explain our options. Delivery was right on time and the two delivery guys were super professional. So happy we chose Ashley Furniture!

The sales people were nice in this store, but I will never buy from this company again. The delivery men were extremely rude, they charge $100 for an install fee when all they had to do was screw on the legs of my couch. And the couch was such poor quality, I was shocked (loose threads all over, haphazard, random staples, a hole at the bottom, blocky, hard arm rests, and the cushions were not the same ones in the show room). The show room had velcro at the bottom of the cushions, which is what I wanted, and they arrived with none. When I called about it they sent a third-party repair guy who only works 1 day a week in each area, so if he was busy, you had to wait another week. The cushions sent were the wrong ones again, no velcro and even different sizes, it turns out they have 2 locations that can make the furniture 2 different ways, and you don't know what you're going to get, beyond ridiculous. When the correct cushions came the velcro had all these threads and fuzz stuck to them, like they weren't even new. It took 2 months after the couch delivery to straighten everything out, and the company never sent an email or courtesy call to check if everything was ok, it was all in the hands of the outsourced guy who was clearly stretched thin, although very nice and communicative, unfortunately he is not an Ashley employee. During my experience, I heard from 3 other people that had horrible issues with Ashley (also poor quality, sending wrong pieces, and taking forever to rectify). They could be giving away furniture and I still wouldn't put a foot in their door.

It was such a delight compared to Big Bobs. No pressure, but there when you needed the help. Expedient delivery and they were actually early which was a delight!!!! Again, from my experience at Big Bobs with their bogus warranty, I said I am not interested in a warranty as I dont trust them. She didnt pressure me just explained it. I found a new home for furniture shopping. Do yourself a favor....mass exodus Big Bob's and run to Ashley.

They actually look like they enjoy working there unlike some places. The delivery was fantastic. Cody and Nick were pleasant and professional. They were considerate of where and how things should be set up overall everything came out perfect! The service really is what sets this furniture store apart from others. Amazing!
Do not buy anything from this store! I bought a king size bed less than a year ago. From the start we had nothing but trouble. From the delivery where they lost and broke pieces to now. This bed is put together with glue and staples! It fell apart after a few days of sleeping on it. Now the headboard is constantly loose, the boards in the middle holding the mattress are breaking and sagging, so now the bed is on a constant lean. I have tried to contact Ashley’s multiple times but cannot seem to talk to an actual human being. The original store that I have bought it from has been less than helpful and just keeps passing me around and giving me phone numbers that no one picks up. This company is horrible and does not try to fix their problems. They sell poorly made products to high amounts of money. Do yourself a favor and buy furniture form somewhere who has good quality and cares about their products!

I found a wood set at Ashley Furniture and they wanted $3300 total tax and delivery. I found the same Ashley set online through Coleman furniture for $2200 tax and delivery. I asked Ashley if they would price match and they said they don't price match Coleman and the salesperson had to add that if I had a problem I may have issues. But any company can have issues with product and delivery. He was just mad I did my research. Ok. I'm a risk taker. I pulled the trigger on 3/14. Received my furniture 3/21/ with no issues. Coleman furniture for the win.

Surprised not big selection
Prices were compatible to online sales except you actually get to touch before you buy. Something about good Old fashion buying. Saleswoman Susan S was very knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted. Financing dept. was a seamless process with many options. And they have Popcorn 🍿😂 too.

If I could give your company -5 stars I would. My husband and I bought a very expensive couch from Ashley's and have not been happy with the product at all. Within 2 months of owning the couch we ran into issues with the cushions. We've spoken to management many of times to try and rectify the issue, but they are not willing to work with us. We've had a technician come to the house at least 5 different times to bring it back "up to standards". However, after only 2-3 days after it goes back to what it was like prior to the technician coming out. We've had new cushions sent to us and it still does not resolve the issue we currently have. ASHLEY FURNITURE IS OKAY WITH STEALING OUR MONEY. My family has bought from Ashley and we also furnished our new home with some pieces from Ashley, I never thought I would say this but I will NEVER give Ashley's my business again. I'm so disappointed in the product we bought and I'm even more disappointed in the customer service. Management has closed our complaint stating they did "everything" they could, but yet my couch is still not fixed. I have some cushions that are 3inches lower than other cushions. I'm disgusted with this company. UPDATE: I had called customer service and was told that someone from management (Wendy) would call me back by the end of the day. Mind you I called earlier on in the day so there was more than enough time for a phone call back that same day. I NEVER got a phone call back so I called the next day in the late morning to follow up and and apparently Wendy and the other manager were out. This is not unusual because they did this when they were dealing with my husband. They said they would call back, we wouldn't hear from them for weeks at a time and when we'd call to follow up they would happen to be off. Since they were off I asked to speak to someone above them and I was told no. Their customer service is a complete disgrace!

So the store itself is not what got them 2 stars, it's the scam of a warranty they sell, I bought a $1400 sofa and when I went to get my sofa fixed it was a three month run around. They don't have a service tec anywhere near me so they want to replace one section of the 3 sectional, the sofa is going on 3 years old and they want to just replace the one broken section. Now I will have a sofa that looks half used half new. Of I had bought it in sections I would not be upset.
Beware of purchasing furniture from Ashley and buying the extended warranty. It covers nothing. I bought living room and dining room furniture from them. The pop-up coffee table is peeling color coming off and warping. The dining room table, the finish came off where the plastic knobs underneath my lazy susan came in contact with the table top. I bought the extended warranty which is not cheap only to be told nothing is covered. I would have to pay for a technician come to my house. The set is about a year old. Why does the warranty state this is all covered, but I'm told this falls under normal wear and tear.
Long Review but worth the read if you plan on purchasing and having it delivered to your home. First off this is no reflection on the people who work at the Ashley Furniture store in Bensalem. Our purchase went smoothly and the day before delivery I received a text message to confirm delivery from 12-4pm the following day (Saturday). Ashley Furniture outsources their delivery service. When I tried to track my order online it said “no order found”. At 4:30 that day I called Ashley furniture who stated they were running behind (obviously) and would be there by 5:30. My husband and I understand how things get delayed but was shocked at the lack of communication from Ashley furniture. They arrived at 6:30 PM and the bed frame was broke. The delivery men this time were very nice and tired! You could tell they were working hard all day! They told us we would here from someone on Monday. Wednesday afternoon my husband went to Ashley furniture and spoke to a manager there who called corporate and we were told that the bed frame would be in, in February! We said we wanted our money back and to have them come and get the drawers and headboard. She was very helpful tried her best to accommodate us and called the warehouse manager who said they had one and could be delivered the following Saturday. The following Saturday comes and I get a phone call at 4 pm saying they are running behind and will be there within the hour. They arrived at 8:30 at night with the bed frame and put the bed together, only to tell us there is a missing piece and we will receive an email or phone call regarding delivery on Monday. Oh and the bed is scratched! No phone call, no email! I called today and they miraculously can’t find my account! My husband is on his way again to Ashley furniture so we can hopefully be finished with this awful company! We have now spent 15 hours waiting for delivery, two trips to the store, and countless time on the phone with their customer support which is absolute joke! Unless you go to the store, purchase furniture and take it with you that day I would advise you to stay away!!!

ABSOLUTELY WORST customer service. First time customer and home owner- bought a huge couch and dining room table; couch delivered two days late outside of delivery time and dining table delivered two days late AND damaged. I have been having call back both the Warrington store location and distribution center because they have a “third party” delivery team. Worst place ever to get furniture. Went to Raymour and Flanagan yesterday afternoon- had great service and bought some more furniture there with zero issues.
Worst customer service ever-I bought a recliner sofa and recliner chair and Ashley will not return them-I even said I would buy a different, more expensive set of more quality but they don’t want to hear anything about it-the sales people are a joke and customer service is even worse-a technician came to my house, saw the problems we were having (the foot rests don’t go down unless we hop out of the seat and kick it closed) and even agreed that the furniture wasn’t right-he said he would write that in his report-the next day customer service called me and said the technician said the furniture was “up to standards” which is bullcrap-they will not do anything for us now we’re stuck with brand new furniture we can’t use-now what? It’s exhausting and extremely frustrating-Ashley is awful-don’t EVER buy ANYTHING from them
Do not recommend at all. First we ordered a bed that was on back order and was told part of the money would be taken out when we placed the order and the second half when it was ready to be shipped. Well the next two months was our bank asking why we kept having Ashley Furniture charging and unchanging the account. Finally canceled the order completely and waited until item came back in stock. Ordered the item again and was given a date and time for delivery with assembly. Time frame was from 2pm-6pm. The item NEVER came within the timeframe that Ashely’s gave us. When we called to complain we were told “it’s just a courtesy time frame” and that our item is still on the list to be delivered for the day. So not only did I sit around and waste part of my day waiting for my item to come in the designated time frame I was given, I also missed my daughters dance class, penned my dogs up waiting for this item, and now would have an off sleeping schedule for my 2 month old. Upon getting the item an hour past delivery time, the workers were banging the items in our room and we were eventually told the item was damaged and to speak with Ashely’s to get it replaced. So now I have no bed to sleep in, part of the item assembled, and a screaming baby because it’s well passed his bedtime. All Ashley said was okay you need to call us back tomorrow and we will schedule ANOTHER time for it to be replaced but doesn’t identify when it would be (a day, week, month from now) or if we have the same problems with it not coming within the allotted timeframe. Absolutely thee worst experience I ever had with a store and will not be buying anything from this store again. Unprofessional. Completely disappointed with the whole process.

I ordered a couch online on July 31st with a delivery date of August 16. Then they changed it to the 17th, and then they changed it again to the 27th. However, I’d be out of town so I changed it to the 24th and confirmed it TWICE. Just today I received an email saying my delivery was confirmed for sept 1st. I called delivery and customer service and they were the most unhelpful people who gave me two different stories and said there’s nothing they could do. I ended up canceling my order because I’m not going to wait around forever while they continue to push back the delivery date over and over.
Worst furniture and worst customer service!! DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! They promise so much but don’t deliver!! Customer service is rude and don’t even listen!! VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

Bought a recliner. Needed to return it. Totally impressed with the way they handled the return and transaction. Our return was within 2 days; I suspect if you keep something for an extended time and then try to return it, they may not be as forgiving. But our experience was awesome.

So we walk in on a Thurs night about a week ago and are wandering the store for at least 1/2 hr with NO ONE asking if they can help us, meanwhile at least FOUR women are in the booth in the middle laughing AND chatting up. We finally had to approach them, at which time they said, 'we'll get a sales person for you' Then, what are all of you being paid to do? Besides embarrass the co? The piece of furniture I'm interested in is NOT available to view, I left messages for the sales person who has not returned my call. Today, I called to ask to speak with a Manager and meet with the Gustavo, ahhh that's what the people in the booth are for! To be sure managers in a furniture store don't ever have to help customers with furniture problems! I should just buy this item, sight unseen and be happy with that... for EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS! Most likely, that's chump change compared to their sectionals. Well... it's a lot of money to me!
I brought a dining room set from this store 1 yrs ago with a warranty. Just to find out that they discontinued they table 1 month later. Now there telling me that I can either puck another product or loss the credit. But what happen to the table I need in my kitchen. Therec saying that I can pick another color table but itv won't match my table. So basically it a scam because now I have a stained dining room table. And the warranty was a waste of money.
The Store manager Jarrett was very accommodating after having a bit of an issue trying to get someone on the phone to make our final payment for our sofa. He took care of us and was very helpful.

Older woman with raggedy blonde hair was very ignorant. My husband and I were looking for a very firm mattress and instead of asking what we were looking for, she loudly said “ WE HAVE TABLES AND CHAIRS IN THE CLEARANCE SECTION” who was looking for any of those items?? And who even said we were looking for anything in a certain budget? Racist people do exist.. never going to give a dollar to them.

Horrible horrible horrible! The girls behind the counter not only messed up our entire order but then rolled their eyes and complained about me to others while I was still standing there. Overcharged, then undercharged then no charge then re-charge. Oder placed, cancelled, ordered again then never showed. Paperwork and billing is out of date and confusing. New system, new management and new employees is needed ASAP! They should be ashamed of themselves for overcharging. If you look online you can find it much cheaper, granted they will match the better prices online but only if you ask. Shame on them! Go somewhere where!
Terrible customer service over the phone. Very misleading paper work and no explanation of the charges and how they “split” up your bill. I ordered from Ashley once and I was unhappy with the quality and this is now the second time ordering and I am unhappy with their lack billing correctly and of their customer service.

Hours on the website clearly say opening at 11 on Sundays. Got to the store at 11 to find a sign saying opening at 12. We weren't the only ones that left irritated. If you have to change your hours change them online so people know! Will be taking our business elsewhere.

When we got to Ashley Furniture, we started looking around and an associate asked if we needed help. We told them we wanted to browse around and look. She said no problem when you find something you like just call me over. We found something we liked but didn't know if it would fit . We had taken measurements before had so we knew what would fit through our door. She told us that the furniture we picked would come in boxes and there would be no problem. Ashley called us day before to give us a time schedule, then another telling us they were on their way. Everything fit perfectly, delivering guys were very courteous and helpful. Will definitely give them a 5 Star for all that they did to help. Thank you Ashley Furniture.
Had an amazing experience with Ashley Furniture. The employees were very kind and not pushy when we were browsing around the store. Delivery time was much sooner than expected and the delivery service was painless. Everything could not have gone and smoother. We definitely recommend.
Took a little while to get the sectional. Worth the wait. Top quality. Honesty....delivery guy told me about a damaged piece that I would have never known about. He took a picture and gave me instructions on how to have them deliver a replacement. Whole experience is positive.

Will say anything to get the money out of your wallet 7 weeks later or a order was assured no more than 4 weeks and customer service has no clue where the sofa is or when it’s coming. Would leave ZERO stars if possible terrible experience. Purchased a sofa sleeper set but before purchase I asked is the delivery’s times accurate as the 4 weeks was not a issue and was reassured yes they where. Fast forward to 7 weeks later and nobody knows where it is or when it’s coming and customer service could care less. Easy cancellation thanks for nothing. If your looking for a three ring circus order from these clowns.

The guys who delivered it were terrific. They actually had to go to quite a lot of trouble to get it in, but they persevered and succeeded. They helped me put everything back afterward and were polite and friendly through the whole process.

Manager of the Wilkes Barre store was very helpful when it came to extended delays with furniture that we ordered. He offered us discounted floor model and free in home set up. Delivery men were very courteous, respectful and helpful.

Everything was great but a minor mistake. The wrong color bed siderails were delivered. Not the delivery guys fault. They were great. We are using the siderails until the correct ones are received. Not a big issue as long as we get the correct ones.

Was super disappointed. Had bought all my furniture in the past from Ashley...unfortunately arrived a half hour prior to closing and as my husband and I were shopping the sales person not only came to us but others as well not to offer assistance but to say they are closing in 20 minutes...well on that note we took our business down the road to Raymour and Flannigan and they got our 6,000.00 worth of business. Very unfortunate for Ashley...won't be back ever again.

Horrible customer service....ordered bunk bed for my grandson. Was told it would be delivered 8/21/21 on 8/20/21 was told delivery would now be 9/3 on day of delivery was told just prior to arrival that the frame was broke won't be delivering and to call in morning for new date. They were told today delivery would be now 9/17/21. When my daughter in law questioned why so long. She was told she was lucky it usually takes 2-3 months. I them called to for answers was told it was up to central warehouse. When I said I wanted to cancel order was asked if I would like to speak to supervisor I was then placed on hold and after 20 minutes I hung up. I then went on line to ask how to speak to supervisor. Was given same # I wasted my whole afternoon on. I filled out online request for someone to call 2+ hours later nothing. Will never use again, if I could send back I items that were not delayed I would. If anyone mentions Ashley I will steer them clear.

I recently purchased a sofa and love seat. The minute I took it out of the box, it had this terrible chemical smell. It appears that the furniture was made in Vietnam, where they have no laws protecting consumers in the United States from toxic chemicals. I can say that being around this furniture (even after a month) gives me a slight headache, along with an irritated feeling in my chest. I have tried reaching out to the store, but they were absolutely unhelpful. They claimed the manager was going to call me, but he never did. I just want this furniture out of my house. My four year old starts coughing when he gets near the sofa as well. Buyer beware. I will not be doing business with this store again. Also, this is a franchise; so if you have an issue the Ashley corporate won't help you. They will simply tell you to contact the store. I would highly recommend another store.

Store is set up in a way that allows you to walk through section by section, that flows nicely. They really set up furniture pieces in a modern way that gives you a great picture of how any room can look. They have a bargain/clearance/damages section with super deep discounted items. Store is clean and well maintained.

Very satisfied with my couch and table. Assembly was a bit tedious but that’s the nature of putting together 6 chairs - however directions were clear and it was pretty easy to put together. The customer service in store was very clear about expectations from a timing standpoint, explaining that furniture may be delayed but they will update me along the way, which they did. Delivery service went above and beyond to deliver my furniture into a tight apartment that I wouldn’t have been able to do by myself. Overall very satisfied with my experience at Ashley and would recommend!

Purchase a chair less than three months ago and the chair is peeling you can't contact the store instead you gat a number for Country Junk store that will then contact the store so then I was told it's nothing they can do and four days later I'm still waiting for a manager to come off lunch break to call me rip off this store is never no more buyer beware
My dad recently got his leg amputated and the chair he wanted was on backorder and Susan I believe did some research and found something similar that he loved just as much and had it shipped to me within less than 2 weeks. As much as i love ashley products, I must say that I had a very unpleasant customer service experience. The red head, skinny lady that works at the counter was rude not only to me but to her co-worker, who was soo nice and trying to help me out. She gave an impression that she did not want to help. Last thing she did was walking away and whispered something to another ashley associate. Made me feel like my money has no value... she needs to learn how to be more professional. I was totallly upset.

(Updated March 28th 2023) I first ordered my reclining couch 0n 5-21-2021 by walking in the Ashley furniture home store at Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. Below are the reasons why I do not like Ashley furniture, protect all (third party protection warranty), Wilkes-Barre PA location, and regional supervising company (country junction). 1. The store itself does not have a supply stock on hand and they will not sell display items. All items have to be special ordered and delivered directly from their Warehouse to your residency. However first it has to come from Vietnam since it's made there. So expect to wait a very long time for delivery just to their own warehouse. On the order paperwork they do not give you a estimated delivery for that particular reason. It took 4 months to receive my 1st reclining couch. I had to do all the contacting and scheduling by myself with the warehouse for delivery due to the lack of communication/cooperation from Ashley furniture/Country Junction. It seems that you don't exist anymore once the sell has been finalized. 2. The Quality of the Ashley furniture products are NOT good compared to their competitors and they have a tendency to over exaggerate the quality of their products as well as overprice their products. It's been 2 years since I've owned this reclining couch. It is already breaking down from normal wear / tear. I have purchased furniture from Walmart or Amazon before for a cheaper price that is better quality and has lasted longer compared to the normal wear/tear of Ashley furniture products. The 2nd & 3rd Replacement couches I received came with manufactured defects upon delivery. 3. 5-year protection/repair program is nothing but a major headache. They have a 3rd party company called Protect All which handles the protection/repair program. It is a long (at least 1 month), complicated, and extensive process to get your furniture fixed, replaced , or refunded. The (1st) thing you have to do is call the Ashley homestore where you ordered it from so they can tell you it's not their problem even though they finalized the sale. The privately owned store then provides the phone number to call for the regional supervisory company (Country Junction). The regional supervisory company (Country Junction) tells you to contact Protect All since they don't handle the protection warranties. Once you contact Protect All you have to file a claim and provide them with all the information they need up to and including but not limited to product serial numbers, invoicing number, your contact information, and pictures of product damage. Protect All then (2nd) requires a furniture repair service to come into your home so they can estimate the damage which you have to do all the contacting and scheduling just to get an appointment (due to lack of communication and cooperation from Protect All). If it is determined that it cannot be repaired. Then (3rd) at Protect All own discretion only after approval they might replace only the broken section, the whole product, or offer a full refund of the original purchase price you paid at time of original purchase (taxes not refundable). Either way they still contact the Ashley HomeStore you ordered it from first to authorize the decision. A reminder that due to a lack of communication and cooperation with all parties involved. You are left doing it all by yourself (phone calls, scheduling, and etc) without any help. 4. I received a letter in the mail that was from the Ashley homestore located in Wilkes-Barre PA. Inside the letter was a gift card for the refund amount of the original purchase price of the reclining couch. However instead of refunding my credit card I used to make the initial purchase they decided to give me a gift card that you can only use at their stores for their products. I guess this is their way of keeping you as a customer for all eternity. I did call and complain that even if I wanted to get a replacement that the price of the same exact product has went up $300 more which is not fair to me since I do not have additional money.

Shopping at the store and buying the items I would rate that as very good. Delivery people were excellent. It was the time between that needs improvement. There was no communication on the delay in receiving the items. There was no communication on how to pay the balance. I was sent a phone message the day before delivery and stated if I didn’t pay the balance my items would not be delivered the next day. I think paying the balance at the delivery should be sufficient. There was no follow up after buying the items. I think they could do follow up calls just to update what delivery delays or days of expected items would be helpful.

The entire middle of the ottoman collapsed. Which should not have occurred. I’m a single person and this does not get used. Spoke with GBS Warranty and a representative stated I’m under the one year warranty with Ashley Furniture. The representative stated that it is the stores responsible for replacing the ottoman as it is a manufactured defect.I left messages and emailed the store. No one responded. This is very upsetting as I always refer people to Ashley Furniture. Kinda makes you reconsider shopping with them ever again.

My only complaint is that I ordered the furniture in early November of 2020 and was given the week of 12/27/2020 for delivery. When I called the week of 12/20 to pay the balance owed I was told the delivery wouldn’t take place until 1/11/2021. Several days before the 11th I received a voice message saying the furniture was still backordered and wouldn’t be available until 3/28. Then on Tuesday, 1/19 I received a text message stating the furniture would be delivered today, Saturday 1/23. Aside from the multiple delivery dates I was treated with professionalism and courtesy from everyone on your staff that I interacted with. The delivery men were also prompt, professional and courteous. I would recommend Ashley Furniture to my friends and look forward to doing business with you again in the future. After a little over a year old the couch I purchased is cracking and peeling.. take your hard earned money and spend it somewhere else.. or you’ll end up like me getting store credit in the form of a gift card that you can only use at Ashley furniture or country junction general store....... you dont actually get your money back.. I have 1 of 3 options 1) I can buy the same piece of junk couch from them 2) put more money towards an even more expensive piece of junk couch from them 3) I can spend the $500 gift card in “their” general store “country junction” where I can spend $500 on gummy bears, pies, cakes, fudge, odds and ends junk and just not have a couch at all and just sit on the floor and enjoy my gummy bears,pies,cakes, fudge and other junk decisions decisions. Beware of business that will not give you your cash back and their answer to the problem is them forcing you to buy more junk from them instead of allowing you to make your own decisions to come back to them. They do not have a couch that I want so I have to either deal with something that I do not want buy the same old piece of junk again or spend my money in their store on crap I don’t need, i hope people see this before they go shopping for furniture so they can save theirselves the headache I’m being forced to deal with. This is just pure bad business

Great sale prices, incredible selection, caring, helpful staff. I desperately needed a small couch/sofa, not a loveseat, and needed it to be comfortable but above all - available for delivery asap. The wonderful sales rep walked all over the store with me, dug into the computer to find what was available and came up with the most amazingly perfect sofa *and* it was on sale! Wow! I've never had such a pleasant furniture shopping experience! Not even a week later, my new couch is in my living room. Looks gorgeous, is so comfy and the perfect color! Delivery guys went above and beyond to make sure it could get through the doorway, were just amazingly helpful.

Needed some warranty work on a table we bought a year ago. Jasmine was very helpful.
We ordered a mattress on Aug 4. We were advised that there would be a delay due to Covid19. (Understandable) Scheduled delivery was for August 26th. We recieved a call from the warehouse on Aug 25 saying the mattress was on their delivery list but they had no mattress to deliver. We were then told it would be delivered Sept 20. After waiting and waiting the mattress never came. We attempted to call the store (which you have to leave a message) and was never called back. We went to the store and spoke with an associate who sat at the computer for a while and told us "it should be delivered soon" but couldn't give any time frame; however; she wrote 10/18 on a sticky note. I then received a text saying it should be delivered the week of 10/18. STILL NO MATTRESS. Today (10/24) I received a text that it MAY be delivered the week of 11/1. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again. Terrible customer service.
Bought two box springs to replace the two I had. They refused to take the old ones even though the website says it would. I was told this is a franchise so they don't go by what is one the Ashley Furniture website. Also, I ordered a mattress protector which cost $87. I didn't get that either. The service was horrible and they hung the phone up on me. Will fill a complaint with the PA consumer protection dept.
Great place to buy all your home furnishing needs! They have a great selection of everything you need to furnish your house. Their prices are are absolutely amazing, best deals in town. Their sales people aren't pushy and don't hover over you as your shop around the store. If you're looking for furniture, this is a must stop if you're in the area!
Great prices and selection. Furniture is delayed due to production issues because of Covid. Always check prices online at the website and compare instore as they might be different.
Overall, the sales staff and the entire experience was very good. The delivery staff was thoughtful of my property and respectful of my space. The wait for the furniture was too long, and had to be pushed back another week, but given the current climate, I can’t blame that on the company.
I would like to thank Jasmine, she was kind caring and found me the information I needed in a very timely manner. She went above and beyond helping me immensely with a furniture find. If we all treated each other this way, the world would be a better place. Thank you Jasmine.

I was in my local Ashley Furniture and have to say my experience wasn’t great. I went in there looking for a new table. I went to the desk to ask for someone for assistance and the girl behind the desk just ignored me. I over heard the girls behind the desk talking about a prior customer that I guess was just in the store. Honestly to me I consider that to be highly unprofessional. While I was there I also noticed a man behind the desk acting irrationally. He looked like he was very overwhelmed and upset. I believe the one sales girl said he was the manager. I decided after seeing and hearing all of that I would buy my furniture some where else.

My sofa came damaged. I’ve spent about a month trying to get in contact with someone from their customer service about it. I’ve left several messages and haven’t gotten a call back. Today, someone actually answered. She was unprofessional and rude, and her service kept cutting out so I couldn’t hear her at all. I could, however, hear a smoke detector with a dying battery beep every 5 seconds. I explained to her that I couldn’t hear her and she rudely said “Let me call you back.” and hung up on me. She never attempted to call me back. After a few minutes, I called again and got the same girl. I could tell it was her because of the dying smoke detector in the background. She must be working from home. She asked me where I’m located, I told her, and then she put me on hold for 4 minutes and hung up on me. I am truly disgusted.
Literally EVERYTHING we picked was 'out of stock' with a 2 month 'maybe'... What is the point of selling furniture if you have none to sell....?

Only gave it one star because I have to in order to post this review after giving us the run around on delivery dates they then told me one part would be in next week but can’t deliver until the entire order is in which none of the previous people we spoke to ever told us I finally cancelled the order and going elsewhere. If you can’t even give correct information on numerous calls reg delivery I certainly don’t trust you to fulfill my order.

Bad Service: Went into store purchased new Mattress & Split low profile Box springs, needed split because of getting into bedroom. Was given delivery date, day before was told would be 2 more weeks because of issues getting split box springs when ordered was not an issue, delivery day comes they show up with 2 Regular Size Split Box Springs Not Low Profile Split. Was told they would Exchange 2 Reg. For 2 Low profile when Available. Month later they arrive with 2 Regular size Low profile Not Split, after removing original splits is when driver tells us what was sent. He says they can try to get 1 reg. Low profile in or Put back what we had and Reschedule Again. With extra force we got it in, got refund for 1 box spring, now what happens when we move? Fight to get it out. Never Doing Business With Again.

The store is good to browse in and the sales staff is nice, that is where their assets stop. Their delivery people are rude and very scary in appearance. They had dropped a recliner taking it into our house and ripped the fabric on the door frame. When I pointed this out to them, they said we should have made sure there were no sharp objects on the door frame. There were not. They gave us attitude when they had to load the furniture back on the truck because of the rip. When they came back with the replacement furniture, they were full of attitude when it was their fault in the first place. When I complained about this to the store, they were rather flip and never apologized for the behavior of their delivery people. Beware of the warranty company that they use. They will look for anything possible not to honor the warranty. An example would be that a motor on a recliner started to make a very loud clicking noise and the foot rest was skewed. First the warranty rep informed me that the warranty does not cover noises, it just covers visuals. Then I informed them that the footrest appeared skewed, then they told me the warranty was out of date. I would not go back to this store for any purchases. I will support our home town merchants.
ordered a king size bed and frame , went to pick it up and it was not what I ordered, I didn't take it and canceled my order, was told the money would be credited back to my card,...that was over a month ago,...everyone I've contacted had no answer and one girl was actually quite rude,...long story short, I will never spend another penny in any of your stores and will do everything I can to make everyone aware of your shoddy business practice.

5 Star experience from beginning to end
Ashley’s furniture has been the biggest disaster and I would never want anyone to go through what they have put my family and I through. Their customer service was absolutely terrible and they were the most ignorant men I’ve ever spoken with.they would hang up on me, say they were going to call me, and never would! We have been lied to multiple times and given delivery dates, taken off of work, and no one ever showed!! We have been calling multiple time to try and get an answer to see where our furniture is and some how no one knows. Yet we ordered it over a month ago and none it was back ordered to my knowledge. I am truly disappointed, I was supposed to have Christmas at my house but since we have no furniture that is not an option now. We worked with the “assistant manager” James. He seemed to be very helpful in the store. Once you got his sale, that all changed. Getting ahold of him was very tough, once you got him on the phone all you hear is lies. James’s informed me that our delivery was supposed to take place on the 23rd of December, and he would call me on the 22nd to confirm a time. After not hearing from James on the 22nd I called to make sure my delivery was still happening, funny enough “James was now on vacation and our deliver was never scheduled”! Our new date for delivery is now the 31st of December, since we already have New Years Eve plans, now we need to cancel them and take another hit to receive the furniture. I completely understand things happen, but this ridiculous and completely unprofessional and frankly feels like we have been conned by the entire organization. I am just praying that one day we get my furniture and it all in one piece.

After browsing several other furniture stores in no random order, Ashley was next on our list. The representative who was assisting us was courteous and very knowledgeable! She made our experience very pleasant. The delivery crew was extremely efficient as well. They were on time and were in and out in a short period of time. I highly recommend Ashley. It’s an American company that produces beautiful quality furniture.
Came shopping for a sectional. Displays are marked with prices per section, but not total cost. Also, the breakdown sheets of the different sections don't have prices listed, making it hard to estimate your cost of configurations not on display. The one salesperson we spoke with was nice. The overall condition of the store is abysmal. Restroom was disgusting and had no running hot water. Ceiling was leaking in multiple locations despite no recent rainfall (makes you wonder what was actually leaking.)

My wife and I were looking for a new sofa set / sectional and the sales team we're awesome. Answered any questions and left us alone while we shopped. No pressure sales !!! My wife especially hates when walking into a store and the sales team attacks, not with Ashley's. Delivery team was also knowledgeable and quick without any hesitation on where we wanted our furniture placed. Delivery was also on time as promised within window given to us via email. This is our 2nd set we've purchased from Ashley's. Definitely recommend to anyone !!!

We went there on August 17, 2019 in the afternoon, service was bad. Three or four ladies standing around talking, laughing. Ask what we needed and one of the ladies said oh they are all over the floor. She wasn't going to show us around so I said I guess we will go all around. We did, when we where leaving the ladies still standing in the same place. That was very bad service ( there was none). We will never come back.
Nobody at podium, no Ashley story upon entering, never was greeted by anyone at any point. Cluttered showroom. Disappointed coming from another Ashley HomeStore to this one.... do better next time.
Great shopping experience. The person I worked with stayed past store closing to make sure I got the mattress I wanted. Highly suggest checking out Ashley before pulling the trigger on a bed in a box product.

Customer service is not up to par. Went in there and saleswoman assumed I could not afford anything maybe because I look young? She asked me if this was going to be my first furniture purchase I would be making. It was a little insulting. As a salesperson, I always assume someone is going to buy, and dont assume their budget. Plus, I was able to find the same couch for much cheaper at D&N furniture.

Purchased a mattress, headboard with footboard and rails. Waited a month for it to come in. Get it home and it’s damaged and missing pieces. I get it things happen ... So I called the store and customer service - neither place has an option to speak with anyone. So I leave a message for both places. The store calls me back and says there’s nothing they can do need to wait for a call back from customer service who will have someone “come out and look at it” !! 🙄 Ugh ... Seriously ! DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY !!!!!
The furniture is high quality. Our only issue was that the wrong chairs were ordered and delivered for our table. We did call about the mix up and the order was fixed and the proper chairs were delivered the next day.
Purchased a sofa and love seat 2 years ago , within a few months the cushions began to curl . Called the store and they referred me to customer service . Spoke to Ruthann and she decided to send new cushions . Once again they did it again . Called customer service and sent a repair man out to look at it. When he came out 3 weeks later , he said something was wrong with the springs and frame and changing the cushions wasn’t the answer . He made his report , Ashley called me stating they wouldn’t cover the warranty , even thou it was a pre existing issue . I would have to pay $400 out of pocket and they will supply the parts . They can’t do anything when the warranty is up !! Asked to speak to a manager and he’s off on fridays and still haven’t received a call back . While the repair man was out he stated he was replacing a whole couch that another customer had over 7 years !! All I asked was this to handled fairly and is loosing patience at this point . While the customer service woman was on the call she wouldn’t hear anything or basically let me speak . At one point while I did have a word to say I said I would appreciate a simple store credit towards a new one her response DONT WE ALL WANT SOMETHING!! Totally disgusted

Been to this store about three times in the past month. All three times no one gave a single s*** about me being there. No one asked if I needed help, no one offered information, and when I asked they seemed bothered by me needing help. The second time all the employees were too busy playing with a small bean bag throwing it around with their feet. So so so so professional! I asked for help and they didn’t stop playing and you guessed it they never helped me out. The last time I went I walked right in got a look from some girl at the desk I looked at two things and walked right out. I would think you guys would be much better but I guess not. Please put some time and dedication into teaching your staff about good customer service. Remember you are a store and you are there to serve your customers. Would never step in there again. I wish can rate this store zero stars but I can’t. Gladly spent all my money at another store.
Went to Ashley to buy a bedroom set. Soon as I walk in the store instead of asking do I need help they busy telling me how they are about to close. So since I was being rushed I decided to go spend my $2700 some where else and got way better service. That was very unprofessional!

I am in the store at this moment and the a only reason the lady asked me if I needed help is because my son ran pass her not to mention her and her co worker both sitting down on the phone looking at pictures....I see at least 6 people in the store that should be working but that's obviously not the case.....will shop elsewhere.

Didn't like the furniture they have. Some things are not to my taste. But they do have nice stuff. I thinks what made me not like it much is that most items were classical look, antique. Customer service is excellent though. Awesome customer service.

Second time I purchased furniture from Ashley. The saleswoman was amazing. Very polite and personable service. She explained every piece of furniture's features. The delivery men were just as polite and accommodating. They made sure I was satisfied how the furniture looked as well as the placement inside my place. The furniture I absolutely love. I purchased both a living room and bedroom set. Highly recommend.
Terrible company. Wasted $100 on a warranty that they had hidden clauses in it and I couldn’t even use. Highly don’t suggest this company. Bunch of con artists.
I went to your store in Wilkes-Barre last night and arrived roughly 7:20 PM, the store is open until 8 PM. I had already pre-shopped online and knew what I wanted but wanted to see the bedroom set in person before committing to the purchase. The staff on duty followed my fiancé and I at a distance around store and instead of offering help, they multiple times reminded us that they are closing soon. As an Ashley furniture card holder I was there to make a purchase but have now decided not to. Instead of offering to help me in anyway, I felt we were pressured and rushed out of the store so they can go home at closing time. We left the store frustrated by 7:40pm, a full 20 minutes before the scheduled closing time. I'm very disappointed in the service I received, or better yet, DIDN'T receive at Ashley furniture.

Called the store and no one answers. No message saying if it is closed on New Year's Day. Have called Harrisburg and Dubois and have spoken with someone, but don't want to drive 2 hours for our furniture. Have dealt with this store in the past, and haven't had any problems. Will update review if given an explanation.
