I’ve shopped here in the past and it was with help of some wonderful sales associate. Today I was here over 25 minutes and the sales associates stood in a group and just watched as we walked around, “no hello, can I help”, or even a “goodbye”they stood in a huddle as my son and I walked around. Zero customer service and I’m not recommending this location!
Where i go for furniture
If I could give your company -5 stars I would. My husband and I bought a very expensive couch from Ashley's and have not been happy with the product at all. Within 2 months of owning the couch we ran into issues with the cushions. We've spoken to management many of times to try and rectify the issue, but they are not willing to work with us. We've had a technician come to the house at least 5 different times to bring it back "up to standards". However, after only 2-3 days after it goes back to what it was like prior to the technician coming out. We've had new cushions sent to us and it still does not resolve the issue we currently have. ASHLEY FURNITURE IS OKAY WITH STEALING OUR MONEY. My family has bought from Ashley and we also furnished our new home with some pieces from Ashley, I never thought I would say this but I will NEVER give Ashley's my business again. I'm so disappointed in the product we bought and I'm even more disappointed in the customer service. Management has closed our complaint stating they did "everything" they could, but yet my couch is still not fixed. I have some cushions that are 3inches lower than other cushions. I'm disgusted with this company. UPDATE: I had called customer service and was told that someone from management (Wendy) would call me back by the end of the day. Mind you I called earlier on in the day so there was more than enough time for a phone call back that same day. I NEVER got a phone call back so I called the next day in the late morning to follow up and and apparently Wendy and the other manager were out. This is not unusual because they did this when they were dealing with my husband. They said they would call back, we wouldn't hear from them for weeks at a time and when we'd call to follow up they would happen to be off. Since they were off I asked to speak to someone above them and I was told no. Their customer service is a complete disgrace!
Piece of garbage furniture. Broke in less than a year and they did nothing to help us. Dishonest sales people. Must feel good to take advantage of people. Do not buy from them.
Placed order for a new bed by phone. Sales associate was friendly and helpful. Scheduling delivery was easy and reliable. Bed arrived on time. Delivery team was friendly, professional, and courteous. We love our new bed! We have zero complaints and would definitely recommend Ashley Furniture!
Great customer service and awesome delivery men
Everyone was extremely helpful from the salespeople who helped us purchase the furniture to the guys who delivered it. A+ all around.
(Updated 1-28-2023) STORYLINE: I first ordered my couch 0n 5-21-2021. I walked into the Ashley home furniture store that I didn't know was (actually privately owned) in Wilkes-Barre until I was told by an employee. This would be the first time experience I ever walked into an Ashley furniture Home Store. The customer service and variety of items for sale at this store was excellent. However I was told that any items on the showroom floor would have to be ordered and delivered to my home since they do not keep a stock supply at the store which left me a little disappointed but I understood. I wanted to order my couch anyway. They offered me a 5-year protection warranty for more money that sounded great at the time. In this 5-year protective/repair warranty if you don't use it you get all your money back you paid for it within 5 years. I got the warranty program. So I ordered the couch for delivery and got the 5-year warranty program. Below is the list of CONS: 1. The store itself did not have a supply stock on hand. All items have to be ordered and delivered. It took 4 months to receive my couch only after I had to do all the contacting and scheduling by myself with the warehouse for delivery. 2. The quality of the product is not as good as they make it out to be. It's not even been 2 years and it's already breaking down from normal wear / tear. It's sad that I have purchased furniture from Walmart and Amazon before for a cheaper price that has lasted longer compared to the breaking down of this couch I purchased from Ashley furniture. 3. 5-year protection/repair program in my opinion is nothing but a major headache. Don't waste your money or time. They have a third party company called protect all which handles the protection/repair program. It is a long and extensive process to get your furniture fixed or replaced compared to the simplicity and responsiveness of Walmart or Amazon product protection plans. Again you are left doing it all by yourself (phone calls, scheduling, and etc) without any help. You call the protection company known as protect all and give them the information, serial numbers, documents, and any pictures of damage they need to file a claim. Then they say you'll be contacted within three business days by a furniture repair service tech. However if not contacted within 3 days they give you the phone number to call them. You then have to schedule an appointment for them to come look at it. If it can be repaired cheaply they will repair it first before offering to replace it. Even if they decide to replace it they will only replace the damage section. Again it's easier to go through Walmart and Amazon.
