I purchased a reclining sofa back in late October of 2024. A Barnsana reclining power sofa. One of the reasons I bought the sofa was the 3 backs of the sofa were removable, this was important due to the small and tight doorways in my house. The delivery guys carry the sofa up on my front porch, I told them the sofa will not fit with the backs still connected. They ignored me and proceeded to force the sofa in to the doorway. I yelled at them, I ordered a sofa were the backs come off. He said this sofa the backs don't come off. They were speaking another language so I didn't understand what they were about to do. They carry the sofa to the back door and try to force it through. The front door was damaged, the back door paint was scratched off my door jams, a bent curtain rod and smudge marks on the ceiling. I was paid for the damages. The second delivery crew were great. The other thing that stood out to me was the firmness of the cushions on the sofa, very firm which I liked. Two months later the cushion I sit on mostly is 2 to 2 1/2 inches lower than the other two without me sitting on it.The cushion is so low that it's hard to get up from the sofa. I have to sit on a pillow to have the normal height.
Adam was the best salesperson. He was personable, helpful and showed me the most helpful recliners for my injured back. I would highly recommend him to anyone and Ashley Furniture is lucky to have him as an employee.

Brandon helped me stay within budget and made sure every question I had was answered. The guy doesn’t beat around the bush and he does it all with a smile. Not only did Scott price match an item that I was purchasing at the time of purchase but when I called back to ask if they had a box spring they felt my sense of urgency immediately and made it happen the same day with a fair price so I had a complete set to sleep in on the day of delivery . My spouse and I came in looking for a product that will enhance the quality of our sleep and our way of life. We were lost and unsure until Adam, one of the finest employees to ever cross paths with, helped us find the perfect mattress for us. Avoid Ashley HomeStore Like the Plague! If I could give Ashley HomeStore negative stars, I would. Our purchase of an outdoor patio set and fire pit has been a complete disaster. The fire pit is defective and doesn't work at all. You'd think a reputable company would offer a quick replacement or refund, but no. Instead, they've made my wife jump through endless hoops to get what we rightfully deserve. Before buying, we asked numerous questions about the refund policy, especially if something didn't fit our deck. The store Manager, Derek, assured us we could return anything we weren't satisfied with—an outright lie. For three agonizing weeks, we've been in a maddening back-and-forth with several Ashley reps and are nowhere near getting the promised refund. Their customer service is beyond abysmal—it's a disgrace. Representatives give conflicting information and show zero initiative or responsibility. To make matters worse, Derek refused to provide his supervisor's contact info, showing a complete lack of accountability. Given this appalling treatment, I am seriously considering seeking legal representation. I hope the district manager or owner sees this review because I will continue to write about this until this matter is resolved. This horrendous experience has left us deeply regretting ever setting foot in Ashley HomeStore. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. Ashley HomeStore does not deserve your hard-earned money.
Went in to browse for a hall table. Ended up purchasing a recliner. There was no sales pressure. No lingering sales stalking in the distance, however the sales rep when I called over was very knowledgeable. Gave me great insight and explained the different styles, material, features casually asked questions about my intention for looking at a recliner.l taste. At the end I purchased the recliner and so did my friend. With no sales pressure it was a great smooth purchase

Me and my wife shop here. very bad experience they told us that the things would be delivered to us in 3 weeks and it is already more than a month they give us a date for delivery and at the last minute they tell us that they will not they cancel the delivery they tell us that they will call us back and no they never do it, we pay in cash for everything and we have not received our things, very bad experience, I will never return to buy with Ashley

Brandon was our sales representative this evening. I was impressed with the questions he asked as we walked back to the mattress department. He was already listening to the customer's needs. When we arrived to the area, he already had a good idea of what we were looking for and that is where we began to look. Much like the optometrist will repeatedly give you "Option 1 - Option 2" when zeroing in on your vision, Brandon had us try the mattresses. He led us through just enough mattresses that were in our target area, concerned with only our comfort levels. We zeroed in on the best mattress for us; without much pressure. To close us out, Brandon offered us a couple of great financing options. While we waited for all the paper work and details to go through, he offered us water and lollipops for the kiddos. Brandon was very respectful the entire time we were there. We appreciated his enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism.

My daughter and her boyfriend just purchased a home and shopped at Ashley in Wind Gap. The store has a nice selection to view. Their salesperson was Nicole and she provided excellent service. We shopped with them and decided to purchase a new living room set for ourselves also. We were both very happy with the merchandise and the service. I wish that my daughter had purchased a dining room set there as well. They wanted a marble table from another furniture store and it has not been a pleasant experience.
Very friendly sales people with great knowledge about their products, the windgap pa store is incredibly big with a lot of different options. I was surprised as to how much inventory they had there. They price match their website so don't be alarmed if the price is higher in store than online, just ask.
I bought furniture at the Wind Gap store. I like my furniture but the manager there needs to be removed! He is arrogant, disrespectful, and lacks all people skills.
HORRIBLE! DO NOT spend money on the protection plan! I purchased it and then when I had a problem with my furniture, I filed a claim and nothing. They do not reach out and they do not help you with your furniture. It is such a scam! Once I filed the claim, I was told within 24 hours someone would reach out to me. It’s been over a week! It is such a waste of money! They Basically take your money and say screw you! Ashley and their protect plan are garbage!!! Never again!
Not realizing that this location had so much of a selection. I decided to start looking here first. All of the employees were very welcoming. The nice part was I didn't feel like they were after me for a sale like Raymore. I felt like all eyes were on me. I found what I needed immediately and Nicole was there to answer all questions. The process was very easy with financing. Delivery was fast as well. I recommend this for all of your furniture needs.

Do not go to the manager nick there . He is pushy on sales , walks over employees, makes fun on an employees mental health. Every other sales person and the other manager are amazing, just run in other direction if you see him.

My son and I went to the store and found the perfect dining room table and comfy chairs which I purchased so my family could have wonderful meals together. It was the perfect table, silver with glass, the workers helped us a week later to load onto our rented truck and it fit perfect in our home.

Where do I begin? I was there yesterday and nobody acknowledged me and after 45 min I simply headed to the door but stopped to admire the glassware. I placed one glass on the table and was contemplating my decision when George came over and attempted to remove it and I had to tell him I’m thinking about buying it, please don’t remove it. I was already disgusted with his behavior when he kicked the leather cushion into place and walked away. I’m like is this guy for real? He then attempted to arrange the other glass pieces I was thinking about buying. This guy was a total rude and to this second didn’t acknowledge me or ask me if I needed help or anything. I was so disgusted I left. I called the other stores and none of them had the glass pieces I saw so I returned the next day to buy all four pieces but the prices were unreasonable. George was there and told me he would discount them20% but I still thought they were grossly overpriced so I settled on only one glass piece and took it to the cashier when I told him wait! There’s scratches and the color is rubbed off the glass in many areas. I’m thinking how can they charge exorbitant prices for defective products so I asked him if he would discount further knowing it would be imperfect and he became verbally rude and just said you don’t have to buy it, and he ripped the thing away from me and chatged over to the place where I found it. No discussion, no customer acknowledgement and no response nor respectful conversation. Is this the kind of people you employ? Because we won’t be back. And I went to home goods afterward and found the exact glass piece for $16.99. Your company is a ripoff and you George shouldn’t be working with retail customers. You’re untrained, agressive and just rude.
Lilly helped us so much pick out a kitchen table and chairs. We kept changing our minds and she was so patient and kind. She's great!!

Since we were in the area we decided to look at there selection, since we've never been at there store chain. We even liked some of there accessories for walls , lamps and there area rugs. We will be back when we are ready to buy our new bed mattress that we enjoyed how it felt.
Brandon was a great sales person. We came in to purchase a mattress and adjustable frame. He was very thorough and explaining the different mattresses and bases. Would not hesitate to come back in the future, and tell people about our experience.

They take your number and promise to call back but don't. When you try to call the store, nobody answers. First impressions make lasting impressions. I'll shop elsewhere, no sale!

My biggest problem with furniture stores is constantly being followed by the sales staff. I simply walk out when that happens. Here, I felt free to wander around without the added pressure. Scott was great, he gave my daughter and I the info we needed, then gave us time. We even left and returned the same day to purchase. Much better experience than other stores. Hoping delivery and set up go as smoothly as purchase did.
Shopping were was a pleasure-the showroom is huge, and my salesperson, Scott, was just the right mix of knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly-without being overbearing or high pressure. Ihighly recommended!!!
We had a lovely time walking around the store. They have lots of options that would have been difficult to get through all by ourselves, but they have amazing staff that were available to point us in the direction of what we were looking for. Our salesman, Brandon, had the perfect balance of checking in with us and letting us walk around and discuss on our own. We were a bit nervous that the piece we chose wasn’t going to fit through our door, so he provided us with the measurements and now we know it will be great.
We live 15 min from the Ashley Furniture in Whitehall and I would rather drive 30 min to the Wind Gap store. They have a much better selection and all their employees are so much nicer, especially, Scott he is AMAZING.

Went in looking for a new mattress and bedroom furniture set, Faras and Brandon truly went above and beyond for me and got me exactly what I needed while being so patient in making sure my pregnant self truly enjoyed the bed I was purchasing and that everything would be delivered together and assembled for me. 10/10 customer service while not being too pushy or trying to sell something to me just to make a commission.

This was the first and the last time I bought something from Ashley. We chose 2 bedside tables and decided to pick them up in the store. My husband brought them home today. He didn't open the boxes at the store and didn't check if everything was in order. They gave him a paper to sign that says: "I understand that it is my sole responsibility to open and inspect merchandise to ensure that it is in satisfactory condition Prior loading it on my vehicle...." My husband just signed the paper. His English is limited and he is very busy with his work. Do you know any other stores who would give you such notes to sign? I don't...When we installed the bedside table, one of the drawers was cracked. I called the store located 487 E Moorestown Rd, in Wind Gap, PA 18091. I asked what can be done because of the cracked drawer. It cost me $248 each. The nice lady immediately re- read the same instructions and said "it could be cracked during the transportation... you are responsible now because you signed Pickup Bill of Lading". What a scam! Ashley - Not reliable or responsible for their merchandise. Pay attention AND READ what you sign. Make sure you take your time to open the boxes and check every single details before you sign there created "ASHLEY HOMESORE - PICKUP BILL OF LADING".The products are expensive but very poor quality.

Ashley in Wind Gap ordered the wrong table and had it delivered 2 months after paying in full. Then said they couldn't order the correct table until the new one got back to Philadelphia. I was told to come into the store 5 days later to get a $200 refund. As the table I wanted was smaller and cheaper. When I went to the store the person who "knew" what was going on was sick. No one knew anything about a refund and the correct table still had not been ordered!! They proceeded to try to explain why the mistake happened instead of fixing the mistake in a timely manner. I asked for refund, the manager Heidi couldn't figure the cc machine and had me come back in another 4 days! At this point another employee, Tori, was able to figure out how to issue a refund. Heidi has no business being manager. She has ZERO customer service skills. Instead of de-escalating the situation or trying in anyway to right their wrong. Playing with people's time and money.

Our experience started with Jackie, one of the managers. She was extremely accommodating for our first visit. We had to come back and Jackie set us up with George to continue our shopping process and order. He was so extremely patient with us and beyond accommodating. He even came in twice on his days off because it’s the timing that would work best for us. You don’t find this customer service anymore today!! We were back and forth so much making decisions, measuring, testing, changing our minds and he always brought value, talked pros and cons with us and ultimately was wonderfully patient and had our best interest at the forefront!! We furnished an entire home with his help and expertise! He’s so pleasant to work with as well! Jackie also stayed plugged in with us to ensure everything was running smoothly and even sent us several photos and measurements over the phone when we needed. We loved our experience!

We stopped here with a friend who was looking for ideas for her living room. We were immediately accosted by Lois. We mentioned we were casually looking and if we needed anything we would ask. She mentioned she doesn’t like to hover, but she latched onto us like a fly. She was very pushy and they way she followed us it felt very uncomfortable. I mentioned in front of another associate who was more friendly that I would not spend my money in this store. Overall this was a very uncomfortable shopping experience and my friend even said she would not come here again. There are other Ashley stores that would not treat us like this and I would gladly spend my money in. We encountered two other associates in this store who were present and friendly, and left us to browse with no pressure. It’s not fair to judge this store on one associate, but honestly why would I return and potentially have to go through this again?? My dollars work at plenty of other stores. I will not return to this location any time soon, and if I do I will avoid Lois at all costs.
Came here searching for a couch after having a poor experience at Bob's Furniture in Whitehall.. THIS PLACE IS GREAT! It is so clean, the furniture is lovely and they have balloons indicating which furniture is in stock due to the supply chain. Incredible customer service. Scott was a fantastic help in picking our furniture. He was quick and right to the point. We told him what we wanted & he showed us exactly what we were looking for. Tori was at the desk and greeted us when we walked in. She was so very polite and friendly. Great experience here.

I will NEVER buy from these con-artist's again. When I purchased a lift chair I was told if I wanted to return the chair there would be a 20% fee. This is a lie. Customer service which is also useless told me this not true and they do not accept anything back once it is delivered to your home. I also had issue with the chair within 5 days of having it. It took over 90 days for someone to contact me back about it. Ashley uses a 3rd party company. Now I am stuck with a chair my father cannot use and have to pay Ashley 1500 total for this piece of junk. Do not believe anything the sales team tells you. They are scammers and complete liars. Next time I will deal with Bob's. This company is horrible. If I could give no stars I would. Make sure you read all of their awful reviews on Yelp too. Definitely not star service. Their products are over priced trash.
Went in looking for a specific kind of shelfing unit, the nice lady helped us find exactly what I was looking for along with some others. She was on her 2nd week there and knew the store inside out. Once we found what we wanted we had to run out but told her we would be back in an hr or so, when we got back she had everything read for us. We had an amazing experience at the windgap store thanks to her.

Good luck trying to get anything done with that protection plan they push. They make it sound so simple and easy when you are buying but the reality is anything but that. I have a claim I submitted a month ago and am still waiting for my replacement. The protection plan company approved the replacement. They submitted the information to Ashley Wind Gap and 8 days ago. I haven't even received a call about my replacement. When I call no one every picks up. Finally got a person today and she said that she couldn't find my claim. I called the protection plan company and they tell me they submitted it on May 12th but will do it again. I'm just getting the run around here. I try calling Ashley Wind Gap again and of course no one is picking up.

I don't recommend anyone shopping in this store. I have called this store trying to speak to someone about an issue and twice I was told someone would call and twice no one did. I went to Ashley to shop for a sofa bed I found at the Ashley website and I was disappointed with their customer service. The sales rep did not seem interested in helping me and they were quoting me a higher price than what I found online. They did provide a price match but did not want to apply a coupon code I had nor waive the delivery fee. I ended up getting the sofa online and saving a few hundred dollars with a coupon and waived delivery fee. Before I bought the sofa bed online, I did stop by Raymour and Flannigan and what a difference in customer service. The rep was a lot more attentive and helpful but they did not have what I was looking for. I think I'll just keep buying my furniture online.
I don't even know where to begin so I'll sum it up. Way too much money for poorly made furniture. Sat on dining room chair maybe 3 times and the cushion is non existent can feel the wood and I weigh 150. Bar stool legs coming apart due to cheap screws breaking. Stuff looks good but as the years go on I can see this not lasting. Cost us over $4000. Been trying to get 2 closers that were not on my door to my $900 tv cabinet for over 3 months! I feel bad for the sales people. Do yourself a favor, go shop somewhere else!

If I could give this location zero stars I would. Our bedroom furniture was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago. They confirmed the day before our furniture would be delivered on the day given. The next day that our furniture was supposed to be delivered they called and said they were having truck issues and had to reschedule. 2 weeks later, same issue saying they were having “truck issues”but Ashley’s called this time and said they spoke to the manager that our bedroom furniture would be delivered and they would arrive later than the time given earlier that morning. confirmed. When they arrived, all the pieces were in boxes and they were putting our bedroom furniture together in my house for over 2 hours with my fiancé’s help WITHOUT MASKS!!! Not only are they putting our health at risk this is unacceptable and bad business! After they finished putting together our bedroom furniture their was damage to the furniture and was not put together properly. We called Ashley’s to complain about the damage to our furniture and they never called us back! We will NEVER buy anything from Ashley’s again!!

TLDR: The store has no interest in customer satisfaction nor do they have processes in place for service recovery. If you buy something here and you have an issue with the delivery or product, know up front you will be on your own. Neither the store's management nor the organization will be willing to help you or find a way to retain you as a future customer. Once your money is in their hands, all bets are off.I have shopped at Ashley HomeStore in the past and have generally been happy with the products and services offered. I entered into my recent purchase with a similar expectation and our initial store visit was pleasant.Our delivery was scheduled early (and given COVID-19 and supply chain issues, we were thrilled). The day prior we received notification of our delivery window between 3PM and 7PM. About 5PM the day of we received notification that the truck was ten minutes away. We were home and ready but no one showed.After the delivery window, we called the customer service department whose answering message stated they were closed for the day (only having hours between 10AM and 5PM). We called the store immediately only to find they were unable to do anything except email other people in the organization to inform them of what happened.A customer service agent called the next day to apologize but state that they had in fact gone to our house and no one answered. After being accused it was my error, they sent photos of the home the delivery team documented as proof which clearly showed they were at the wrong house. The delivery team showed little interest in critical thinking or actually delivering our furniture and instead displayed a high level of laziness and incompetence. All of the homes in our development are marked with addresses on the mailbox and garage door. Instead of confirming they were at the right place or calling the phone number attached to our order, they ignored the markings, took pictures of the wrong house as "proof they were here" and proceeded to go home. It must be nice to care this little about your job.The second delivery date was scheduled for a week later. After arriving, the crew quickly noted that they did not have the other pieces I was describing and they were not even listed on their delivery paperwork. This is a second delivery that now has an issue. I accepted delivery of the two items and will need to wait for a third delivery to hopefully receive my order in full.After your sale, the store staff and management become disinterested in you because they already have your business. I found my interactions with various members of the management team to be rude with nothing but "I'm sorry" offered as consolation.Everyone in this organization passes the buck. No one owns up or takes any initiative in service recovery. Good luck and buyer beware. This store and organization is not what it used to be.I look forward to (maybe) receiving my furniture (that is already paid for) and never returning to Ashely Furniture again.
Very unprofessional, Kay the manager simply wants to provide a new cushion and legs for a inadequately constructed piece to my set! Customer service is very poor if you have even minor issues. It has taken 5 calls to basically get a cushion and new legs for a poorly constructed piece that is 2 1/2" out of level. Nothing but a run around for furniture I paid for 100% prior to delivery. Very disappointing to pay 3k plus to have basically no customer service and now stuck with a piece of junk. This store is not out to help there clients but to use them as a number and once paid give them the run around! Buyer beware!!!!

Not very happy took over 5 months to get our furniture delivered and we were understanding with everything that is going on but now over a month dealing with there customer service has been a nightmare. We have an issue with all 3 pieces of furniture and now we have to wait for another 3 weeks until someone comes and looks at it and that’s not even Ashley it’s another company coming to look at it. So how long will this process take?
Well I thought I would write a review… Here I go just thank god I didn’t buy furniture from Ashley because what I have read and from my own experience of my brother who lost his wife recently and has a handicap daughter who is waiting for her new furniture for way longer than I would have waited ..He is getting the run around about the delivery always same excuse the funny thing is there is no excuse just make you wait and than get a call last minute they are not going to deliver.. So here is a thought of the day they don’t have the furniture or their delivery people don’t want to work… I would tell everyone to check other furniture stores to purchase their furniture that’s what I am doing and explain how Ashley furniture operates and make sure they are not the same… Finally the manager of this store should lose their job not addressing problems and backing their customers…
It’s now 10:05pm. My furniture was supposed to be here between 3-7pm. Still no show, no call, and we can’t call the store because they’re closed. Store was called at 830 pm and they assured us they were still coming. Not happy at all.

I never received my furniture and called the store and the lady was very nasty she said that we have to wait on a coffee table but my couches have been in for a while sitting at a warehouse in Philadelphia. She claims they have no phone number they can get in touch with them they do everything by email only . I asked to speak to a manager she says she’s to busy to take to me. It has been more then 12 weeks . I will never deal with this company again .
Very expensive not what I expect
My husband posted the below. This was before the worst really set in. Chairs in the order were damaged, and the delivery guys caused such a scene when they found out we lived on the third floor, we almost didn't get any order. Actually told us we needed to help move it?! Today I went to see Kay, the "Manager" that can't do anything, and her finance lady (the mean lady). We were contacted by a Jennifer and assured removing these chairs from the order was not a problem....except, we went to see Kay today and were told since we didn't want to reorder the damaged chairs, we now weren't eligible for free delivery. So after crediting the chairs, they added a $100 delivery fee to our account?!?! We waited 15 weeks to be delivered damaged product. And then you charge me because I don't want to wait again for another set because your delivery team damaged them? Worst place EVER. Another gentleman walked out screaming before me. Hoping corporate office can assist, and maybe review current Manager and Finance Team at this location. It is difficult to stay composed hearing their lies through the process I will update on my experience with corporate . We ordered a power recliner sofa and two chairs over 12 weeks ago. I have been trying to see a power recliner at the Windgap location. Today was my fourth trip, and I finally got to see it.After my second trip, I received a call from "Linda" who told me there was one on display, and that it was $809.00. I calculated that was their listed price ($1,009) which was 20% off called. I went there a third time, and was told she wouldn't be in till later that day, so I had to leave. Finally, today I went in, and although Linda wasn't in, someone located the chair and I liked it. But then, they had a price on it of over $3,000.00!I told the salesman and he said he see if they had any in stock. He said they did, and the person that was writing up an order, had about $3,400 on the screen. She told me that didn't include the discount, and it came down to about $1,400 plus...I let her hear the voice message Linda left me, and she said "oh no, that's wrong!"I walked out, then I stuck my head back in the door and told her it's still on their site for a grand. Then I came home and decided to complain. I called the store, and as told to call "guest services" which I did. Guest services told me I needed to call the store (that tried to screw me to begin with) and ask for a manager. I did that and a guy that answered said he would have the manager call me back and wanted my name and number. I asked what the managers name was, and said I'm not giving any info till I find out the name of who's going to call!He said, "sir, this conversation is over" and hung up. I recommend bog box stores, Lazy Boy, Raymor & Flanagan or ANY OTHER STORE than Ashley. I'll close by saying, till today I was a customer. Not a big one, but over the years, I've spent thousands of dollars at this location. And at least a third of the time, I've gotten attitude from their staff. We had trouble finding a bedroom set for our child and never tried Ashley before. But the manager was very friendly and helped us find a set within our budget.
Terrible experience here. Fortunately for them, the bald manager with the tattoos saved the sale. The people at the front desk made an offensive joke about my last name, and when I made it clear that it was rude, they just laughed it off. My order was screwed up 3 different times, causing me to have to make several trips back to the store to rectify the order. I’ll never shop here again, and recommend nobody does. Go somewhere else, it’ll be worth the extra time.
About a week ago, they had a Beat the Clock Sale. I was looking for the Pinnadel Bar Stools. Online, they are $170 each regular and $150 each sale price. On the day of this Beat the Clock sale, they increased the price to $520 each in the store in Wind Gap! Yes, you read that right $520 EACH! When I went, I expected the stools to be $200 each as they would give the 60% Beat the Clock sale off the original price. I was not expecting that off the sale price. Today, I called and spoke with Patty. Those same bar stools are $208 each. If you do the calculation, 60% off of $520 is $208. So, this Best the Clock sale was nothing but a lie. There was no real sale. I feel sorry for anyone who fell for it. When we were there for the sale, the saleswoman actually told me they don't match online pricing for their own store, which is fine, and the price is so much higher because if I order them in store they are put together. If I order online I have to put them together myself. I would love a job there assembling furniture. When I responded that was ridiculous, she told me there were cheaper stools in the back of the store if these were too expensive for me. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN SHOPPING HERE!!! DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!

salesman, george knows his stuff, unfortunately the company he works for does not. ordered a sofa on 11/28, was told 2 to 12 weeks delivery, was willing to wait. called 4 days prior to 12th week to check status & the store told me they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered, since their system was "updating." called the corporate office and they said the item wouldn't be ready for an additional 9 weeks and that the person i spoke to at the store could have given me that information. i will be requesting a refund and telling everyone to stay away from this place.

So I was extremely concerned about the horrible reviews on Google when I entered the Wind Gap location. The manager Kay explained everything to me. Due to the pandemic, many things are delayed including furniture delivery. I have friends in other states that have waited quite a while for their furniture. I was informed delivery is between 2 and 12 weeks. My husband and I are willing to wait because we went to multiple furniture stores but loved the quality that Ashley provided. Our sales associate Brianna was AMAZING!!! I showed her items I wanted and even accent pieces I wanted to use and she was able to show me exactly what I desired. They had an amazing veterans day sale. Overall I was extremely pleased with Kay and Brianna. They made my shopping experience AMAZING....now lets pray delivery happens before 2021 lol!
The other Day I stopped into the Ashley Furniture store in Wind Gap, PA to look for a couch and loveseat. Usually when I go into a furniture store I see the sales staff walking around the showroom like zombies from The Walking Dead. This was not the case with my salesperson, Brianna R. I was greeted with a smile and a &"how may I help you&". I assumed she was smiling because she was wearing a mask as well as all of the other employees. I explained my difficult situation that I have a narrow basement door opening and then immediately a staircase that the couch and loveseat need to fit through and then go down. That&'s when Brianna went to work. I was impressed that she knew the showroom inventory thoroughly and she immediately started showing me couches that would fit my needs. Additionally, after listening to further room restrictions such as fireplace stand off distances, Brianna R. suggested an option that I never thought of. Based on her recommendation, I settled on a couch and 2 reclining chairs rather than a couch and a loveseat. The paperwork process also went smoothly and she explained all aspects of the delivery process. I highly recommend this Ashley Furniture store in Wind Gap, PA based on Brianna R. and the other employees. As far as the other salespeople at other furniture store chains, they should run, not walk, to the next casting call for The Walking Dead.

Went in on Friday to look at furniture we needed for a recent move from Florida. George quickly greeted us and offered assistance. We just wanted to browse and he was respectful of our request. He checked in from time to time to see if we had questions which we did. We needed to measure some room sizes so we told him we would be back the next day. No high pressure sales at all. We returned the next day and George helped us make all of our selections, making sure we got good numbers since everything was on sale and got us to the check out. Super experience, we are really excited to get all of our new furniture and we may go back tomorrow for another purchase. We will definitely go back to George. Exceptional service.

Ashley HomeStore, your customer service is trash. We were on hold for two hours today to be hung up on multiple times. A couch we&'ve owned for 2 months has already broke. The back support has blown out. It broke a few weeks ago but no one seems to care to get in contact with us. Absolutely unacceptable. Aside from the couch issue our customer service with you has been all around horrible. You falsely advertised that upon purchase we would be called to schedule a delivery. That never happened. Instead our $2000 furniture order arrived piece by piece over a month time. We had to sleep with the mattress on the floor for almost a month due to the fact you first only sent the bed slats. Than sent the head and foot board but we had to wait 2 more weeks to get the final pieces to put the frame together due to you not being clear that the main bed piece was on back order. For a $900 bed frame I find this unacceptable. Than when we call and ask how are you going to fix this your customer service rep told us to call ups or fedex ourselves and hung up. Which is hilarious because I have screenshots of you advertising &"if your order is incorrect or incomplete let us know and we&'ll make it right.&" I have yet to see you &"make it right.&" From here on out I will never recommend this store or company to another person and I will take my business to big lots and other various stores.

We were looking for our new living room furniture for a while and happened to find it here at Ashley. The quality of the furniture was exquisite and there was SO much to choose from! George was friendly and very helpful as our Salesman. We placed our order on Saturday 6/27 and was able to catch the weekend deal which made it even more that desirable. I can't wait until our new couch and love seat arrives, and am counting down the days! I'll remember Ashley every time I sit and fall asleep in those comfy recliners. I am the envy of my family. And wait until they come visit. I'm sure to get some envious smiles! Thank you, Ashley!

So far I’m disappointed with the wind gap location.I purchased furniture on March 11 and I still haven’t heard anything about my delivery date. I understand that the store may be closed, however the professional thing to do would’ve been to send an email or call to your customers in regards to their purchase. I have called the number on the invoice and it says that the number is not in service. I contacted the store in Wilkes-Barre and spoke to a representative who informed me that these two locations have separate owners and are not related. I feel like the calls should be monitored at this location as well.

Do yourself a favor... look online.. they offer same furniture for much less on their website. For example they have a living room table in their store with a list price of $900 and they offered it to me at 50% discount bringing it down to $450. I thought I got a great deal until I got home and found it online for $189 with free shipping. They told me they will not price match their stuff with their online store because of store overhead. The stuff in the store is way overpriced. Always look online first. Don’t make a very costly mistake like I did.

Very nice store and large selection. The staff was very helpful. But the prices were rather high and confusing. Definitely overpriced to get you into a loan agreement. We were looking to spend under 2k but that wasn't enough to get something we liked.
NEVER will i purchase anything from Ashley furniture let alone the one in Wind Gap PA. The people who delivered this couch were in-considerably rude and disrespectful upon delivery. They insisted on bringing the couch inside my house when i never asked for in home delivery. I specifically said curbside. I asked in the store if they can put the couch inside the Uhaul upon delivery. "Sure no problem not a big deal". They rudely tell me upon arrival that it has to go inside and if they dont they are leaving with my couch! I have never felt more wrongly informed as a customer over something that is so easily maintainable. Your company lacks self respect and self regard to its customers, Miss informs information to its customers upon purchase and careless demeanor from employee to customer relation. Dont buy anything from this place. Its more of a hassle. Mind you im not one to ever complain over things but this had to be said for future customers.

Don't buy anything at Ashley's. Purchased a bed, mattress and box spring and paid for delivery. A week later Ashley had the same ad which advertised free delivery. Called the store and was told the fine print said there is a minimum purchase. Asked the manager what the minimum was and was told it is $1700.00. Nowhere in the ad is a price quoted. Was told there is free disposal of old mattress and box spring included in the delivery price and the delivery people refused to take the items along because of a small stain. Called Ashley to complain and finally articles were taken. Got much attitude from the rude delivery people. Very poor buying experience from the store and with the delivery men.

Total scam, wife went there bought a couch after being harassed to do so. They say no interest for 12 months, but then the 13th month they tacked on $500 when the couch was almost paid off. Such a shady place, then on top of that the couch is falling apart. I’m in construction so every house we build I tell every client to make sure they don’t buy here.
My experience with the Wind Gap Ashely Furniture store, was a great experience even with a slight hiccup! Our sales rep Jamie was pleasant and patient as we decided on the right sofa for our family room. Kristen at the front desk was super kind and informative, pulling together our sales paperwork and the Sales Manager, Kay knows how to keeps a customer happy and satisfied! While we purchased the sofa in store we later found it for cheaper online. However, with a quick call the prices was adjusted to match. Will surely purchase again form this store, customer service is stellar!
Positive- Sales associate in the store was very nice and helpful. Store had a nice variety. Negatives - I called ahead about a couch I saw online. Over the phone I was quoted the online price Plus the in store 50% off discount sale. I was told the in store price for this specific couch would be ~$450. When I went in store, they said I was given bad information and best price they would give me was ~$900. All the prices are marked triple the online prices, then marked down and still negotiable. I felt like I was shopping for a used car. Not the experience I was looking forward to. Very disappointed. Will make my purchase elsewhere.

Don&'t shop from here!! I used the Wind Gap store in Pa and I had 2 delivery drivers that didn&'t speak english and a translator that spoke broken english on a phone, drop off a new mattress. They didn&'t unwrap it and tried to not take the old mattress they were supposed to take. They finally left, I started to unwrap it to find a big rip in the bottom hidden under the grey slip that was supposed to protect the edges. Called Ashley service immediately, was told there was no manager but he would call later. Plus I had sent him 2 pictures of the damage where he said yikes, we&'ll get this figured out. It&'s the next day and I still haven&'t heard from him. We&'ve called the store that said it was escalated but couldn&'t tell us anything else, we called corporate that said they didn&'t see the damage in the photos, and are currently waiting again after 6 phone calls last night, 3 emails, and 2 more this morning and still have no clue what&'s going on. My husband and I had to resort to sleeping on the couch with both us having extreme back problems and not knowing what to do with the mattress. Worst experience I&'ve ever had and I was soo looking forward to a good night sleep. I pray to God they resolve this quickly, I&'m sick and tired of getting screwed over. Now tell me this isn&'t damaged. Run as fast as you can. Update: they finally called me back said they can&'t deliver a new mattress until wednesday, it&'s Saturday, and there&'s nothing else they can do. I&'m so upset and pissed off. This isn&'t fair and i don&'t know what to do until Wednesday. They said they&'re just going off my word because according to the suvery, i didn&'t take, i had an excellent experience. I&'m waiting on the moving company to call me now to complain about their drivers. Just stay away, go somewhere else. I have family that had better luck ordering from an online mattress store, not liking it, getting a new one the next day and not having any problems near to what i just experienced.
If you like being followed and asked if you need help 4x over, by all means go on in. They do not take “I don’t need help.” as an answer. George is very nice, Hope on the other hand needs lessons on etiquette when someone tells you they do NOT want help. Even after explaining I only order online. It’s completely rude when you don’t listen to a customer. To top it off to over talk someone even when they’ve told you no they don’t want help multiple times. Then to point out there’s no discount on clearance when not even asked. RUDE!!! There’s no reason to shop in store when online pricing bets them every time.
Make sure you check online prices first. Everything on the Ashley’s website is much cheaper than the “discounted” prices they have in the store. I found the same couch they had in the store for 1000 bucks cheaper on Coleman’s website. They also charge a 30% cancellation fee if the couch doesn’t fit into your house.
There are ZERO stars given for the experience! Our experience was absolutely horrible! We waited 11 weeks for a 2-6 week delivery. There was not any communication with Ashley on anything. I had to make calls to ask where our table was. When our table did come, it was the wrong size and we refused the order. I called the manager and she laughed about it and was not really apologetic at all. We cancelled the order and went to Big Lots to get the same thing for $290 less than what Ashley was charging. WORST customer service experience ever!!!!!! There is more I can say but I will keep it classy!

Mr jaimie Vidal helped me on sunday I was very happy and pleased that he was able to find everything I was looking for. Mr Vidal was professional, polite and understanding. Thus store was very nice and very large. The furniture on display was well kept. The representative was friendly and helpful with information. Only down side was the prices were a bit steep for some of the furniture tht had outdated look. Would still recommend to others.

Been waiting 11 weeks for our furniture. They said 2-6 weeks. Well Today was delivery day between 3-6 and nothing yet. Called Ashley’s and they have no way to get in contact with the delivery guys! Mind you I’m now 9 months pregnant with no furniture but a floor to sit on 😡
The staff at Ashley's were friendly and gave us ample time to make our choice. The price of the item we chose was reasonable and fair. We will definitely go back for any other furniture needs.

I bought a new house and had a few empty rooms I needed to fill before the holidays. I walked in Black Friday to a relatively empty store. I was asked by an older white woman if she could help me. I said yes I am looking for this living room set. She said oh that over here pointed it out and left me. My wife was surprised she didn&'t seem to want to make a sale. I explained to my wife some people don&'t want to be hastled and she may be giving us space to shop. I went back to the front door where she was standing and said OK we are ready now. I also said See I bet you thought we were not gonna buy anything. Just to assure her we were ready to buy. I explained we wanted two set of bunk beds and the living room set. We need the cost. She checked the beds and walked us to the sofa. She could not get us a price till we picked what pieces we wanted. I flipped the paper over to tell her what we wanted and she walked back to the front door and sat down. WTF is all I can say. I walked out and went to Raymour and Flanagan. I will not force someone to sell me new furniture there are plenty of places that will take my money! I can only assume she prejudged me the moment I walked in. I refused to be treated like a second class citizen and will no longer be shopping Ashleys!

Ashley Furniture in Wind Gap has been amazing while searching for a new couch. I can't say enough good things about this place. When we arrived the sales team was busy, and instead of making us wait, Patti (the manager) took time out of her work to find the couch that we were interested in. We decided to come back to purchase the couch on another day, but Hope helped us complete all of the paperwork early so we wouldn't have a long wait the next day. When we came in to make our purchase, Sarita completed our order promptly, and we were on our way! We would highly recommend Ashley Furniture, and would definitely purchase from here again!!
The only reason for the 3 stars is because the sales reps are deserving of it. George is a great guy and helped us out to purchase a dining room table to have in time for Thanksgiving. I went back tonight to purchase the matching buffet but wanted some credit due to the fact that the online prices of our dining set and Entertainment center were cheaper. That’s when I was informed the online store is a separate store and they don’t honor those prices. Absolutely ridiculous!!
Great that they advertise 50% off but they clearly marked their prices up double. Every item had a new typed up sales tag... $3,000 for a couch and loveseat is not the normal price...smh... so dishonest.
It was nice to walk around and not be followed. Didn't buy anything the last time we were there for that reason. Evelyn was very nice, gave us all the time we wanted to discuss our purchase, and answered all our questions. Will definitely go back to deal with Evelyn the next time we want something.

Shopped at Ashley Furniture Saturday, November 9th and met and received excellent service from Karen, Laura, and Patti. Shopping for Master Bedroom Suite, Mattress, and Rug for our first time in our newly purchased home in Pocono Summit, PA. The Ashley representatives helped us to find furniture items, secure prices for Veterans Day sales event, and finialize financial credit and payments to complete our purchase. The Ashley representatives did an excellent job from beginning to end. Looking forward to shopping at Ashley Furniture at the Wind Gap, PA location again in the near future. The only reason I am giving three stars is because the sales lady that helped us was very nice. However the store has everything marked up over twice as much as the online price, and then says “everything is UP TO 50% off”. When we asked if they could match the online price we were told it’s privately owned and they can make their own prices. They would not match the online price of the table we wanted. And they also could give no real estimate in delivery. Needless to say we ordered online and had a delivery date within a day. We were able to purchase a table and chairs for the price of only the table at the store.
I can’t comment on the quality of the furniture because i have not received it yet! I URGE you not to have your furniture delivered by the company Ashley uses. We were supposed to get our furniture between 3 and 7:00, the driver came at 1:30 and left because no one was home. After many calls they said they were on their way. We still did not receive the furniture and it’s the next day! Now no one is answering the phone!
Never seen a company run so terrible bad. They use a 3rd party company to deliver furniture... so they pass the buck on whose at fault. Had 2 deliveries so far on the same furniture and both time furniture was broken. No manager will call you back and good luck trying to get your furniture. I wouldn't refer this place to anyone I know after dealing with all these headaches.
Evelyn and Patty were very lovely. Evelyn helped us out tremendously with what furniture would match our new house and made the decisions very easy for us. We will definitely be using Ashley's Home in the future and recommending everyone to come here in the future!! Ask for Evelyn!!!
Great service however my furniture is on back order and instead of 2-6 weeks I am looking at well over 2 months. Totally unacceptable and next time will purchase elsewhere, they blew it with this...
It’s been two weeks and still awaiting the call regarding my couch. I was under the impression the call would come a few days after purchase and then the delivery COULD take up to 6 weeks. I just moved in and have been using an air mattress as a couch. I should have went to raymours which apparently has 3 day delivery! My card was already charged and I took out a credit line. I realized after the fact the couch was cheaper online to buy! I would think you would get a better deal going in person but guess not. I will be canceling soon if something doesn’t start moving!!

Entire experience was good, found out all Ashley’s are independently owned, but this store matched the online pricing and deliver costs. Which I was extremely happy about, otherwise I would have ordered online. But we bought from the Wind Gap store in Pa. The store is huge, a lot bigger than anticipated. Associates were extremely helpful willing to go out of there way to to find particular floor models. Overall a decent experience, the one thing I’m unhappy about is there already charged my credit card and I haven’t received the furniture yet???? It takes 2-6 weeks before delivery. Normally you don’t get charged until you receive the merchandise, that’s how it is, ever other store. So what makes Ashleys any different? So I didn’t pay the bill. When I receive the furniture, and I’m satisfied with the furniture and the delivery then I will pay the bill, not before.

I was not expecting to purchase anything , however I couldn't pass up on the great sale, Rachel the sales floor associate, mentioned they were having. This store is HUGE. I was able to check out in person the sofa I had found on Ashley's website and they pricematched the rate that was online as well. Linda, who assisted me with the purchase, was very kind and not aggressive. I will definitely be back if I need another piece of furniture in the future. Delivery is scheduled for next week so I hope their delivery workers are as easy to deal with as the employees at the store!

Always a great place for furniture and the prices are extremely doable
The store itself was fine but I had to leave because I couldn't tolerate the 2 saleswomen perfume.I have Asthma. In my opinion if your working with the public you should avoid Fragrances because you are deal with several types of people . Alot of child and adults suffer from asthma, allergies and other breathing disorders.
This place is way overpriced. They double their already high prices and then offer 50% off the entire store like people are stupid

I walked in my sales guy was George. He was friendly and helpful, when I was done walking around he was busy. The sale manager ( didn't introduce himslf) told me George didn't add furniture up right the price went up and I walked out...
Have purchased multiple items from Ashley in Wind Gap, PA and have never had any issues....until this time. Purchased mattress AND cover....paid for delivery...waited 6 1/2 weeks (was told 2-6 wks). Finally called and was told "it never populated in the system to call us” and we have to pick up the mattress cover...why didn't they give us the mattress cover when we made the purchase???? "It was an oversight” plus it will be another full week for delivery. Taking business elsewhere.
Starting your life over isn't easy to do especially in your 60's but honestly if it weren't for Ashley Furniture and Linda Torres-Donker, it would have been a nightmare. I cannot express my sincere gratitude to this woman. I would consider her a pillar to this company. Her caring way, and no pressure made me come back, (I didn't have measurements as I had not closed on my home) but only on the day she was working. I came back and ordered two rooms of furniture and two lamps. I cannot wait until they arrive. Selection was amazing and all staff were exceptional! Thank you again Linda Torres-Donker, I will most definitely be back and soon. I promise.
Love Ashley Furniture! Reasonably priced, plus additional event discounts, anyone can afford furniture for any room. They provide all kinds of styles of furniture which I like, unlike some other furniture stores that have only dark wood finish.
This weekend I stopped in for the Memorial Day "SALE" I go here quite often looking for items so I know the prices. They DRASTICALLY raised their prices well over 50% and then announced that every item is 50% off. It is such a disgusting practice and even the sales person acknowledged that everything was recently changed. Even with the "50%" off, it's cheaper to go elsewhere. I will never return to this awful store. The ceiling tiles are full of mold and falling apart, the bathrooms are disgusting, the people are rude, and their business practices are horrible. I ended up getting a full living room set from LA-Z-BOY and I would go back any day and do it again before going here and getting robbed. I sincerely hope the store closes so that something worth while can go in its place.
My husband and I went to look at some sectionals. We were immediately greeted by Evelyn. It was a wonderful experience. We were nervous because we had a budget, but they worked with us and we got the perfect sectional for a great price! Evelyn was exceptional and all the employees as well as the manager were kind and made you feel comfortable! We looked at various stores, but it was the amazing employees that cemented our decision. Great experience, great customer service. We are thrilled!
Nice salesperson that greeted us quickly and was attentive. Just don't appreciate Ashley's business practice. I was looking at a recliner that's on clearance and was told "We don't deliver this and there's no warranty on this piece". I wasn't asking them to do me any favors as I'm PURCHASING an item. I have money to spend but hey that's their practice. No worries, onward!
They have the nicest furniture
I called ahead of time to ask a lot of questions because I absolutely hate shopping. Especially with my wife. (It takes her 45 minutes to figure out what kind of slice of pizza she wants.) I spent about an hour on the phone with my sales associate, Rachel Gibbs, who patiently and happily looked up endless amounts of beds for me in multiple configurations. Probably over a hundred in total. As if that wasn’t going above and beyond in itself she stayed and waited for me after her shift has ended! (which Led to her son having to go with the babysitter which cost her money out of her pocket) Not knowing If I was even going to make a purchase due to my extremely tight parameters of what I wanted she happily stayed there and assisted me for another 90 minutes. Finally we. Found a bed frame that worked for us that was locally in stock and we wouldn’t have to wait weeks for and we paid and left. I have never in my life met a sales associate who was so dedicated to her job and putting the consumer first. She was not pushy. She never gruffed when I wanted to do another lap around the store. I didn’t feel rushed at all. It was a rather pleasant experience. I will be returning there when I need more furniture to compliment my new bed. And I will request her every single time. And if for some reason she moves onto another store. I’ll just shop there instead.
Over priced
Very shady pricing scheme's going on at this store. Items heavily marked up over the online advertised price. One chair I was looking at was tagged for over $2,000.. the same exact chair on the Ashley Furniture website is $649. When you ask about the pricing the sales reps say that "the owner is responsible for setting his own pricing in store and doesn't have to follow the same pricing structures listed online. Also, the tagged price is actually on sale for 50% off, so it's really only $1000..". $1000 in store... $649 on the website... Both with delivery available.. both with the same average wait time for delivery.. why would I ever buy in store??
We had Evelyn help us in picking a dining room set She was very friendly and she makes us feel right at home. We will be going back to get more items for our home I will take away 1 star because of the way Manager acted I think he benefit from customer service training being that nowadays every item can be ordered on Amazon No one needs to go to a furniture Store.

Great experience ordering. The Furniture staff gave us our space to browse without feeling Bum barded. We had our living room set delivered on 4/1/19 to our home and the delivery men were also great! I have had horrible furniture delivery experiences in the past so it was a relief how smoothly this went and how careful the two men were , making sure all was good before they left .
We didn't buy anything, but they allow you to browse without the sales people being down your throat and watching you every second like hawks coming in for the kill. It was enjoyable to see what they had.
Salespeople were seemingly nonexistent. Layout of the store was disjointed and unorganized.

Old country junction off 33 in windgap past the bowling alley. Entrance is a little weird and hidden but inside is huge with alot of furniture and displays. Just the walk around can give you alot of ideas. Staff friendly...not pushy. Half decent pizza next door.

UPDATE 11/2021: Had a wonderful experience. Michael was helpful and made it a point to continue to help us even when we switched up what we wanted to order. Prices were great during Black Friday. The ladies at the counter were also helpful and super nice. Has a ton of options for various budgets. However, they will price match off of thier own website but not against other websites. We ended up spending almost $200 less and had the couch delivered go our living room for free online. In other words, just make sure you're getting the best price.
Once again Country Junction did a great job from start to finish. I have been purchasing furniture from them for the last 10 years personally and professionally. Rich the manager at Wind Gap always works with you to ensure satisfaction. Once again Rich and his crew did a great job. The delivery men went over all of the furniture to ensure not damages. They noticed a damaged chair and before I had to ask them they had a new one ordered already. Great job.

Great selection horrible customer service. Wouldn’t work with me at all on the price even though the salesperson said that she would. Took about 35 minutes for them to actually take payment. (I mean it’s swiping a card how long can it possibly take?) they told me it was a strict AS IS- NO RETURNS WHATSOEVER. Which is kind of BS but that part I get. However the lady who rung me up was just a stick up jerk who acted like she couldn’t be bothered to sell a couch. Wouldn’t come back here again.
Great service. The inside is huge! There was a lot more there to look at than I expected.
