While I understand online prices are different there shouldn't be a 600% price difference. Charging 6 times the price is absurd. That's OK, we went to Lancaster and they helped us out for the same price as online.

. My fiancé and I bought a couch from here.. the couch within a few weeks was not working correctly / getting stuck and wouldn’t recline . It felt like pulling teeth trying to get a appointment with Ashley then with their joke of a furniture repair company BP furniture which has canceled twice on us when we have stated the time we work and they still expect us to drop everything to be there. Will never buy from here again. You’re better off somewhere else. We have waited since August to get this couch fixed
Sales representative very friendly. Like chair very comfortable. When chair was delivered I was not sure what to expect, box chair was in was in very rough shape. The chair inside box had no plastic bag over it for protection. Cushions inside where just thrown in on top of chair. Have a small problem with chair making a popping noise at times, waiting on repair team to check it out.
So far so good! I placed my order with Ryan who was extremely helpful and patient. I am hopeful for no issues with the pieces or delivery and I will add to my review with the update.
Gary was great! He answered all the questions we had and even gave us alternate options that matched some of the things that we liked from other pieces. We would definitely go back and work with him again!

From the time he greeted us at the door until my purchase of a sofa, chairs and later on bedroom furniture was completed he was by our side for help but never felt pressured. Dealt with Chris Stallings. Everything seemed soothing until it came time for delivery. Chris had failed to order slats to hold my mattress into my new bed set. Called and Ashley’s Furniture was no help what’s so ever. Their solution was to order them now that there is a problem rather than order them initially. They seem to fail to realize that this bed set was so i would actually have a bed to sleep in. So i guess the sofa will be my new bed for the new 2 weeks while i wait for the slats to arrive.
Thank you Grant for helping me with our new dining room table! I’m glad I decided to stop in the store instead of ordering g online. I look forward to future business!!

Thought we were getting quality furniture and service. Took over 6 months, which included several last minute visit cancelations by SAW their repair company (when they finally came in April (this all started in January) tech mis installed part and claim he didn't know why it wasn't still working(recline function on sofa), next tech came in late June and found the miss installed part and corrected it. All this after many calls and promises of we will call you back from Ashley "customer service" department. Calling the store did little good, with managers (Sheri) that don't care about product or customer. Also save you money on their rip off GBS protection, it's a scam that neither GBS or Ashley really stand behind.
We spent over 20k on furniture. Promised delivery on July 13th of most of the order which would include bedroom suits and mattresses with living room furniture to follow. Left a message a few days ago with no response. Called today finally got a hold of someone and now they are saying that delivery isn’t guaranteed on the 13th as promised. When I paid a few weeks ago I even confirmed delivery would be July 13th and was told yes. Now apparently delivery has changed and no one had the courtesy to even call. Very disappointing for the amount of money we spent.
We walked into the store and everything was taken care of for us. We are new to the area, from sales rep Chris to Justin the manager and the finance dept. everything went well and smoothly. We will definitely be back.

I went to this place on Sunday and met Grant. He was vety nice and helpful. We were looking for bed frames, a dresser, & stand sets for my sister and I. He showed us many different sets & my sister ended up loving one.He helped a lot with pricing & letting us know when we would receive it. Even though we got one set we still enjoyed his service & will probably return for more furniture. But what sucks is having to wait 2 weeks for the furniture we want. Especially because we already have the bed & box spring for it. Other than the wait time we had a pleasant experience thanks to Grant.

When walking in we were greeted by Grant. He was very attentive to our requests and was very helpful in finding us the best deal for our furniture.
Recent experience was one of mixed feelings. The Sales Associate, Allison, was very helpful in answering questions and giving us privacy to discuss purchase. Once the order was written she took us to the Order counter to have order entered into computer. As we approached, a manager sitting there with two employees said firmly "Give us a few minutes, we're having a meeting". It was directed to Allison, but it was also implied to us. I felt bad for Allison. This bold command left a confused, then irritable impression on us. Maybe he should have had the employes in an office where customers wouldn't interfere! So, review is mixed - Good for the sales force and Poor for judgement of management.
Bought a sectional with extended warranty. Sectional broke before owning it for a year. Trying to get a repair or replacement is impossible. Trying to deal with the company that's supposed to make repairs is frustrating. They always need to get back to you in 48-72 hours which they never do. I went into Ashley Furniture thinking someone there would help. Ha, they sent an email and I was told they would get back to me in wait for it.....48-72 hours. After doing a search I see many other people are dealing with the same issue.

I would give negative 5 stars if possible. We dealt with the York, Pa store once before and bought a living room set. We were pleased so we went back when it was time for us to replace our bedroom sets. We needed 3 bedroom sets, one for my wife and I, and one for each of our two kids. We dealt with Chris Stallings. So we chose to deal with him the second time. We purchased $10,000 worth of bed sets. We had to wait 6 weeks for it to be delivered, which I wasn't too happy about, but it is what it is. Then comes the day of delivery, the guys are bringing everything in and, they got our frame set up and the guy informed me there's no box spring or foundation for our bed. We tried calling the store, the lady started Chris was busy and he would call us back. I tried to call to reach a manager, and kept getting a voicemail. Eventually Chris calls back and my wife answered and explained everything. He began saying how he wouldn't sell us their foundations because they cost too much. He usually recommends going to Walmart. Why would somebody buy a $4,000 mattress and put on a Walmart box spring! Regardless, he didn't advise us we needed a foundation one way or the other! We were under the assumption the mattress came with a foundation since it cost so much! Long story short, he takes no responsibility, sold us a bed that's not compatible, and/or without a foundation, the same for our daughter. Her bed needed a box spring and that wasn't mentioned either. We've spent a lot of money there in a short time but I will NEVER GO BACK AFTER THIS! Now I have a bed I can't sleep in until I can get a foundation.

I pay for an extended warranty and when the chair broke they told me it wasn't covered. What's the point of an extended warranty I was lied too I was led to believe the warranty covered factory defective but no that didn't happen I was mislead. I would never buy anything from them again.
Highly recommend not buying from here. I’ve had no sofa for almost a month because this store doesn’t know how to order things correctly or communicate with customers. The fact that my ordered was messed up and i’ve had to call this store dozens of times on multiple days to finally get one single person to call me back is ridiculous and I have yet to have a manger speak to me when I was told a manager would be calling me about compensation for this issue. I will never be spending money her again.
Have been waiting for my Mom's bed and mattress for going on 8 weeks. We were told "Two weeks. maybe as long as a month". Calling does no good. They are saying it "might" be in on Monday which would make it over 8 weeks. I will never do business with them again. I suggest you go elsewhere if you are not prepared to weight for two months for your furniture.
My husband and I went in just to "look" at a sofa and ended up purchasing one in literally less than half an hour! We were greeted by Bob and then Alexis took care of us from there. Great service! Not pushy sales people, they're there to help though! Excited to get our new sofa!

Bought a bedroom set less than two years ago. The frame broke, although I bought the 5 year warranty Ashley refuses to help me in any way. I called almost every day with no response. There was always an excuse why someone could not talk to be. The Ashley stores are independently owned so you are directed to their “corporate office” which is their service department. The corporate office put me on hold then there was a dial tone. When I tried to call back three times they did not answer. The worst customer service I ever received. Horrible!!! I recommend you go somewhere else for furniture.

Derek was the manager on site and didn't hesitate to work with us on the price. They even threw in a free rug to match our living room set! Second time visiting Grant here at the Ashley store. Phenomenal experience buying a couch through him. He was able to help us take measurements and look up the order time for two different couches we were looking at. This man's name is Grant Andersen, he did not care how we looked he helped us from beginning to end on our process and we not only left with a bedroom set we left we left with the mattress. He was amazing and if you go to Ashley's furniture in York you should define give this man your business he is the best!

Terrible experience. Bought a set of Sofa, Love Seat, and a Rocking chair in July 2023. They delivered the set and weren't able to get the Sofa in so they left it in our garage. Made multiple calls and no answer. Finally asked to get us another love seat and take the sofa back. They agreed. Today (11/16/23) they delivered the love seat. The delivery people said they can take Sofa in with no problem. We declined and they insisted. They took bottom out and took it inside. They broke bottom frame and said no worries. We told them to take the sofa they back to warehouse and they refused. What a pathetic service!

Came in today mainly looking in preparation to buy and Grant was fantastic. Made sure I had no question left by the time I left and if any came up after offered to help later as well. Also just a very polite and pleasant team in general.
Worked with Grant at Ashley furniture he helped me find the right Sofas for our family. I have been to a few the past few days an didn’t find anything I was “wowed” by until I walked in to Ashley. Great to work with!!!
I tried to purchase a clearance sofa online for the clearance price but was referred to the stores. I called five different stores without success. Some had them in stock and some supposedly didn't. None would honor the online clearance price, which struck me as 'bait & switch.' The Lancaster, Pa. store originally told me that they had seven in stock but recanted after being asked to honor the clearance price, saying that they had none. The York, Pa. store had them in-stock but simply refused to honor the clearance price. I'm told that Ashley's online store is a separate entity from the physical stores. Ashley Furniture's business model appears to be decentralized between their corporate owned & independently owned stores & the stores vs. their online website which results in a lack of subsequent customer service accountability. I've concluded that Ashley Furniture is not a store I feel comfortable doing business with, considering my experience.

Had a wonderful experience in at Ashley furniture earlier this week the sales associate Grant Andersen was very informed and knowledgeable and Extremely helpful. Because of him I will be returning customer.
HIGHLY unimpressed. Bought a reclining couch from this store 4 years ago. Saleswoman told us that the extended warranty would cover almost everything except pet damage. Not quite at the four year mark and the upper frame cracked. The warranty company said that it sounds like a manufacturing defect and won't cover it. Ashley Store says that it's not the stores problem. I now have a couch that leans on one side, I'm out over $120 for a warranty that doesn't do anything, and a broken couch that could be a safety hazard if someone sits on that side and it decides to break. So I guess I have to take the fault for being a sucker.

Our salesman Jamir was extremely helpful and very nice. Not pushy what so ever. He gave us our space to browse the store but was there when we needed help. He worked us out a deal to keep us near our budget and still get us what we liked. Go see Jamir!
Garbage customer service. I scheduled a delivery for Saturday and they put the date in wrong on their end. They then proceeded to tell me their was absolutely nothing they could do to fix it and I now have to take off work because of their mistake. Every number I've tried for customer service is a dead end.

I did not have any experience with any other sales person, except for Chris, but I am telling you, you have to ask for Chris. It is impossible to have a better experience with a sales person than the one we had with Chris. He was great with our restless kid, he was helpful without hovering, he was easy to speak with, and he was honest. And, we didn’t have to fight for a good deal, he just took care of us from the start.

Do not buy from this store. I have made two mistakes by ordering from this store. The delivery people do not understand English, and the store employees do not answer the phone when needed. Last year, we bought a couch from this store and returned it. The sales team sold us the couch for a price, but then later asked us to pay extra because they had made a mistake. We thought, "Fine, mistakes happen." This month, we ordered patio furniture from the store. When the delivery people arrived, they wanted to take back the couch from last year, which we had already returned. This is confusing, and we are still dealing with the situation. The delivery people do not understand English, and their manager told us to call the store. However, the store employees do not answer the phone, or they do not record customer information properly. I do not know who to talk to about this problem. The delivery people do not understand English, and their manager is unhelpful. The store employees do not answer the phone, and they do not seem to have a record of our previous order. I am very frustrated with this store. I would not recommend buying from them.

Bought our sons entire bedroom set, kitchen and living room. Took 6 months longer to come in and had pieces missing and broken. Been to the store several times and of course got the run around and promises to get it fix. Has been another year, yes year and still not resolved. Do not waste your time with this place. No customer service at all.

Over all experience was good. The sales guy didn’t know too much about the pricing and discounts so someone else had to step in. But other than then everyone was friendly and the furniture we purchased came early and the price was right!
I have to leave one star to leave a review, but Ashley furniture don't even deserve a half of a star. After purchasing what we thought was a quality recliner and the warranty they sell, we found out neither was worth what we paid! Less than a year the one side back support (made if particle board) shattered and the chair was falling apart. So i called the warranty they sold us, only to be told that it is not covered because it should be covered by the manufacturer. So we went back to the store and the manager set us up with a furniture repair man to come look at it to see if it was fixable... Come to find out they request a third party to do this. So after waiting over 3 weeks they call me to set up a time only to cancel because they didn't service the area we lived. I had to call them to find this out and ask them to find somewhere that could help us. Finally got a appointment set for over a month out. Then they cancelled twice and finally showed up on a Sunday! They guy wanted to glue it back together!! We told him that would not work and we wanted the back of the chair replaced! Long story short, after waiting another month and I had to call numerous times, they (regency / Ashley) finally call to say they are not replacing it and if we want it 'fixed' we have to pay for it! Poor quality chair and even worse customer service! Never will shop there again!
I recently purchased 3 bedroom sets from Ashley, and I can say nothing but nice things about my salesperson Rosa and the General Manager Nicole. They were so professional and patient in assisting me to find the perfect furniture to accommodate my new home. They both worked effortlessly to get me the best deals and helped me find exactly what I needed to stay within my budget. Please go see both of these ladies at Ashley in York, Pa... you won't be disappointed.
Purchased a couch in August. February the bottom of it ripped out. Everyone I talk to is rude and wants to get an attitude when asking if they stand behind their product. They say there is nothing they can do and will hang up on you. Will not give information to anyone that is higher up. I have purchased furniture from Big Lots which lasted years and this doesnt last 6 months. Save your thousands of dollars this stuff is cheap and they do not stand behind their product.

We spent over $1,600 on a sofa that is defective and they refuse to repair or replace it. Do NOT spend one dime at this store. They are horrible 😢.
Sales people aren’t too pushy. I don’t return to the same person as I believe that whoever is there is the one that gets the commission when I’m ready to buy. Went in three times and sat on literally EVERY couch. Narrowed down to two that were a) comfy and b) within needed dimensions. Spent $2200 in October of 2022 and the couch is still nice. Hasn’t sagged even though I manage to sit in the same spot. Will update as time goes on. Plenty of furniture to pick from and plenty of sales to find during the holidays. They seem to have decent financing, if you need to go that route. I took the 20% off instead. Everything was delivered and installed as promised and rather quickly. No complaints. Might go back for an ottoman or coffee table.
In 2022 my husband and his bought furniture from the Ashley store in York Pa. We paid are bill off and closed are account thru the bank. That was in December. In January of 2023 to got a phone call from a women from Ashley furniture wanting to no when we were going to finishing paying off our bill. I said to her that I don’t know what you are talking about we paid are furniture off and closed the accounts thru the bank. All she said to me on the phone was “ Ok thank you” Then at the end of January I received a bill from Ashley furniture saying that I owed 600.00. I called the bank right away and found out that someone from Ashley furniture opened up a new account with out my permission and they charged me for that amount. I did not purchase an item from Ashley since last year. The bank remove it right away.
If you like being followed around by a bunch of bored employees that have nothing better to do than try to upsell you on already overpriced furniture that is below quality go here. If not go support a local business around town and you’ll be much happier and so will your wallet.
Ron was awesome but a little pushy
I should have read reviews: some family & friends had shopped here years ago and had positive experiences, but so many of the recent reviews point out the same things we're dealing with. We ordered a living room set 7.5 weeks ago, working with Chris on the sales floor. At the point of sale, the computer told him that the armchairs were/were going to be discontinued, but he walked around the store and checked on 3 different computers to find info that made him confident they were in stock in the region and we could order them. We made it clear that we only wanted the set if we could have all of the matching pieces. He said "it wouldn't be a problem" to cancel if they were out of stock, and that we'd receive a call within 48 hours if they were unavailable. It took nearly a week to have a phone call answered, that person couldn't provide any info on the chairs, we were promised a call back within another week, that never happened and we spent the next several weeks leaving messages every few days. Finally got called back today and was told the chairs were out of stock, wouldn't be in stock again, and the other parts of the order were still being processed. Was also informed that the only way I could cancel the charge was if I went into the store in person "for identity theft protection" corporate policies. We shopped hear because we'd heard positive things and were hoping for better product/service than a budget place like Bob's Furniture, but that's not at all what we've experienced.
Mr Ron is the best! He understood the dimensions of the space described and layout of furniture arrangement 😉 found exactly what we were looking for! Reasonable prices, good quality furniture! Thanks Mr. Ron!

Honestly if I could give this company zero stars I would. I highly suggest buying furniture elsewhere. If you have a good experience - it’s good. But if you have any issues at all - even minor - with your furniture/order/delivery it’s a nightmare. The store will take zero accountability and when you call corporate they tell you to talk to the store. Their customer service is next to none. Their communication is also terrible. If there is any prolongation of your delivery no one will call you, update you, or anything. And then when your furniture finally arrives damaged (several times) it’s a whole other issue. Good luck ever getting refunded. The delivery team is also terrible because it’s a 3rd party and any issues with that is completely separate - again no accountability. The corporate office, delivery, and the store should not be handled separately. Clearly the store just wants your money and the corporate office doesn’t want to hear any concerns with your furniture. As a whole, this company has severely gone downhill after the pandemic because prior to I never had any issues. Will definitely shop anywhere else to furnish my new home.

Bought an amazing sectional and the movers delivered it and set it up smoothly and were super friendly. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the delivery is insanely long. They say up to 10 weeks but assure you in-store that that would be very unlikely only to see that it is very VERY accurate and you are definitely looking at 8 to 10 weeks to get. Customer service was nice and delivery personal as well. Would recommend just know there is a loooooong waiting period from the joy of purchasing to seeing it again and you may forget what it looked like🤣 Also they are hard to get on the phone to check on updates. Had to call other local stores to get an update on my purchase.
Did not like the selection
I have been patient with waiting a year to get my furniture when promised 12 to 18 weeks. during that year I called them twice never a phone call back to tell me the status of the furniture. I also purchased pillows as a part of that delivery contract did not get the pillows have called the store three times with no call back. They wanted me to drive there to pick them up which is 45 minutes away. when I called to talk to a manager I never got a callback. I do love my furniture, but I would have to give the store a two for poor customer service.
I wouldn't even give them a single star if I could. I have had to wait for OVER a month for a sofa delivery (that I've stilll yet to receive). This is also AFTER they damaged my home. I spent almost $10,000 for a new bedroom suit & a living room suit. They damaged part of my sofa on 1st delivery along with my home. They tried to redeliver THE SAME EXACT sofa a week later. Im still waiting on someone from the "claims" dept to call only after calling 4 days in a row to a no. that was in the email. Everything was on backorder which I didn't have an issue with as we were told that from the start. I'm still waiting on my sofa that was supposed to be delivered yesterday but according to them I said I wasn't happy with that date when IN FACT I told them to deliver it. I now have to wait til NEXT Wednesday because they are not willing to take someone else's stuff off to accommodate me. I've had to take days off due to this that I'M NOT GETTING PAID FOR. I've only EVER had problems with this company. But thinking maybe Pa would be different from when we dealt with them in FL. Boy was I wrong!!!! After this I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. GUESS WELL wait & see what happens on my next delivery date hoping it's not the SAME EXACT damaged sofa originally delivered & attempted 2nd delivery.
Do NOT buy the extended warranty. One of the seams on my couch just came apart. I had bought the 5 year "Warranty" so i tried calling. When i tried to use it i got the worst runaround i have ever experienced!!! Never did get it resolved and gave up which i think is how they design the process. The store wouldn't help, they kept telling me they had nothing to do with the warranty coverage even though they certainly had no problem taking my money when i bought it! They had me call someone else who had me call someone else who had be call the store .... so on and so forth. This has nothing to do with them telling me that the issue wasn't covered. I couldn't even get that far! I had the receipt and all the sale paperwork but they "couldn't find me" in their system so I NEVER even got to submit the claim.
I purchased a new sofa at the York store and Grant A. was the salesperson. He was very helpful and the whole process, including delivery, was very smooth.

BUYER BEWARE!! I purchased a sofa in March. The delivery driver couldn't get it past the top of the stairs, took a quick picture, put it back in the truck and told me he was returning it. I asked if there were any other options. He said no. I went to the store the very next day and spoke with the store manager. After a long conversation, she agreed to cancel the order at no cost to me. It's now the middle of August and I'm still fighting a $232 charge for delivery and cancelation. Even though every time I go to the store, they apologize, tell me they agree that corporate CAN'T charge me for this, I just got another call saying corporate is standing by their decision to keep the charge. Of course, this store is disconnected from corporate. When I try to contact Ashley Furniture, they tell me they can't even access this store's records. I'm convinced that the store and corporate figure I'll just get tired of this runaround & pay the charge to avoid negative impact to my credit score. All this headache and a wasted vacation day from work for a sofa that i didn't refuse. Never again, Ashley. I strongly discourage friends & family from purchasing from this company. * I just noticed multiple reviews from other customers who experienced the same thing. Also noticed that the store responds to favorable reviews and ignores complaints. Very telling, Ashley. Really wish I had done my research on ya'll.
Horrible. One of the worst experiences in my life. I purchased a couch from the store then a few days later needed to return the couch. I explained the situation about what happened to our home and the manager did not care. We stated that we needed a return because of what had happened and she quoted "I knew I shouldn't have sold to them people and stayed open for them. What do you expect? To get furniture for free here? We don't give away furniture. Have a good day sir". She then proceeded to send me to someone else and storm off. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION.

Nice when you are buying, not so nice when you have problems. Purchased a piece of furniture and it doesn’t look like it did on the show floor. Then when we went back in to the store it was conveniently not there for us to compare.
Overpriced and poor quality. My recliner broke and after waiting 13 months for my warranty replacement, it was the wrong recliner. They wanted to charge me shipping to send the correct one. After many battles, I got my money back and shipping paid for to have them send another recliner. Once again, it was wrong. This time is was the correct recliner but wrong color. Customer service was horrible. Again, stated I needed to pay shipping. Wouldn’t give me any money back. Now I have a brown set of couches with a grey recliner. I will NEVER shop Ashley again.
Though the selection is decent and furniture stores are increasingly obsolete, I do not recommend this store. The customer service is terrible. They will get your money, and you never hear from them again. Delivery dates keep getting pushed back months and months, and they will not update you unless you call. Also, we had something delivered broken, and we're still waiting (for months) for someone to call about getting it repaired. Not worth the hassle and headache.
Worst experience! Waited 3.5 months for a mattress that is still not in stock. Every time we call the store we get a different answer. When I spoke to the manager about how we are told something different when we call in, she didn’t care. When I stated we are considering canceling our order, she stated that is fine. Mattress Warehouse order us a new mattress and is being delivered in 2 days.
Found another drawer with only one rail stop! You don’t find out until you make a one sided pull and the rail keeps coming. Every single description of Ashley furniture by me is the truth. I finally went to use the dresser secret drawer and they only put a pull stop on one rail so when you open the drawer it pulls out crooked and tosses around the jewelry you wanted hidden and protected.DON’T BUY ASHLEY FOLKS! ==== If you saw my Porter bedroom furniture today you’d laugh how I never shut my drawers completely because if you do they still stick closed. Better Homes & Gardens just did an article on the 31 best places to buy furniture. Ashley Furniture did NOT make that list. Some show the right side unaligned, some the left and some do not fit correctly no matter how one tries because it’s sloppy work! Go to Interiors/Smith’s Village or Bob’s/Boscov’s for fine brands at reasonable prices with decent staff and management, none of which you will find at Ashley!!! ==== The Ashley York PA Store is a DO NOT ENTER. Found a floor set that I came back for the next day (Feb 16th) and a sign was miraculously placed on it that said ‘SOLD JAN 8. I was then directed to a set that was 2x the cost, the Porter. I was told it would be guaranteed delivery April 30th. NOT, that was the date it would arrive at the regional warehouse and it was ACTUALLY delivered May 11. I was told that the $300 delivery charge would be ‘white glove’ when in fact it was purely “BLACK GLOVE”. The delivery dudes literally told ME to figure it out and left. Shipping material had to be removed by ME and a drawer got stuck on material left behind the drawer, which still remains! Called the Ashley store the next day to send someone out and they basically laughed at me. Nice extended warranty York! Ashley HQ called and offered a free small piece of furniture but why would I want anything they are involved with? Told them to shove! Last but not least NEVER buy the extended warranty as it’s a ripoff, which I always knew, but it was Covid days so I believed them. The YORK PA Ashley store is owned, staffed and managed by lying, grifter-con-artists. Do not shop Ashley. Do not let these grifters steal your hard earned cash! They definitely do NOTHING for the customer. I learned the hard way.
I just bought a sofa set at this store, and after being very and after being very well attended by the seller, I went back to talk to a lady who told me she was the manager of the place, to understand why my purchase was 500 dollars more expensive in the end, and she simply lost her behavior, speaking profanity for me my wife and my newborn son. So it's a warning that it's just another store that cares about the customer until the moment the product is purchased.

I had a great experience with Chris Stallings. He was super nice, had a nice shirt on, and was just very down to earth. He was able to show me what they currently had in stock versus what would needed to be ordered and take time to get. The whole process was very easy, he was able to give me a good price and save me a lot of money on costs. 10/10 Recommend.
We received the bed and found out it was the wrong model and had been charged for the more expensive model that we did not order. I called the location only to be told the salesman swears up and down this is the model we ordered. Now we're stuck with the wrong model and honestly a horrible product.
May I give you "Ashley Furniture" some customer service advise. When a customer pays you cash for their furniture and you give them an ETA agreement they do expect that to be honored. If however circumstances prevent that from happening then a phone call should be made to said customer and an apology made with a new approximate ETA. Your customer should NOT have to call you several times. Leave messages with no return calls either. This is not doing good business in the least. Ordered living furniture on November 27, 2021 was giving an ETA of 8 to 12 weeks. 4 months later no furniture, no phone call or return call. I am currently sitting on my patio furniture in my living room. Needless to say I am not happy. I can only hope when my furniture ever does arrive that I can and will expect a partial return of funds for my inconvenience. Or perhaps I should just come in and get a complete return of my funds and take my business else where's. Hakes furniture in Weiglestown do not have warehouse issues and now I wish I had went there instead.
If I could give zero stars I would. The customer service here is awful. We ordered a bedroom set back in November. At that time we were told it would be in mid February with Covid I totally understood. Mid February came and then we were told mid March. I called the store 2 weeks ago and was told they were still waiting for the bed frame. On Monday we went to the store to canceled because I was told the order could be canceled, but we had to go in the store. The general manager told me it couldn’t be and if we did it would be 30%. She said all of our pieces were in. I went on to say if that were true why weren’t we called to schedule delivery. I called corporate the next day to find out that she lied to my face and the dresser would not be in until May 20th. Needless to say I went off and my order was canceled at no cost. Even after I called corporate she continued to lie. I will never step inside Ashley Furniture again. I’d rather spend an extra $1000 then be lied too. Horrible customer service!!

My boyfriend and I went to this location looking for a sectional. We were greeted by Grant, who seemed nice at first. Then, we found a sectional we did like, however once we told him our budget, he immediately became condescending by telling us to go elsewhere. He didn’t even attempt to try to help us. So we went to the Ashley in Chambersburg, PA. We had the BEST sales associate help us and bought the exact same couch we wanted in York! So Grant missed out on a commission! Not a good salesman at all!
My girlfriend and I went to Ashley Home Store in York PA to look for a sectional. The sales associate we spoke with was pleasant up until we settled on a sectional and when we said it was out of our budget the associate immediately told us to shop elsewhere and had a condescending attitude towards us. I wouldn’t recommend the York location.
I need to start by stating that we have purchased furniture several times in the past from Ashley without an issue. We purchased a bedroom suite in December 2021. There was cosmetic damage to the headboard, which came from the factory and not the delivery company. I called Ashley to tell them. I was directed to send pictures of the damage via text which I did. I have called 3 additional times over the past 2 months and have heard nothing back from Ashley. I am very disappointed that I must continue to follow up with no return calls. In the future we may elect to go elsewhere to make any additional purchases.

This is a few days late. But everyone was so nice and kind. Chris did an amazing job helping me find furniture I would like and come at a decent time. He was honest and just all around an amazing sale person!!!!
I bought some furniture in November 2020, and I still haven't received it.
In early August 2020 we went into Ashely Furniture looking for a new living room set, we found one that we liked, we ordered it and was told that delivery time should be in October due to the pandemic, we were fine with that and had no issue, In October I called the store to check on the status for delivery and was told that now my estimated delivery date would be late December/early January, which we had received no call letting us know this information, they had our money since we paid cash for our new living room set, at this point we decided to return to the store and check out the furniture that they had in stock, we decided to go with a different set - a leather set. Last week which was 1 year and 2 months after our purchase date I noticed at the top of the love seat on the one recliner there was a tear, I called the store immediately and left a message, no return call, I called again today 12/20 and stated the situation and was told that since it is after the 1 year warranty that there is nothing that can be done, so now I have a living room set that is beginning to tear after 14 months. I understand its right out of the warranty, but there was no offer of any type of help such as a repair or something. I am not pleased at all with this because if that is the quality of furniture that Ashely furniture sales than I will never purchase another item from them!
Unless you are mechanically inclined with your own power tools dont buy furniture requiring you assemble it. A small 4 drawer dresser item EB1811-144. After pain staking effort to get 5 of the 8 bolts in that hold the drawers to the rails i had to modify things to make the last 3 fit. Due to poor machining of the threads and a bolt slightly too short to catch those threads, this was one of the worse things ive ever had the misfortune of having to assemble. What happened to people caring if they made a good product or an absolute piece of .... nightmare.
I order some stuff in September and it was suppose to come in by December and delivered well we ware lie too we went in the store and Sk them and was told it on track so we call them about the 2 week in December and they told us it will be in the warehouse by January 8 so we told they we are done and went to Lancaster and got the stuff they lost our business so if you go to Lancaster and when you see a buggy out side it real wood.
Quoted 8-12 weeks for a couch, ordered 9/7, said it would be before Christmas. 12 weeks was 11/30. Called on 12/1 and they said it wouldn’t be in until the end of December. Went in to get a refund on 12/4, not even upset about the timeframe because it’s the nature of the supply chain nowadays. We just found something elsewhere that we could have delivered in a matter of days so we didn’t have to wait anymore. They told us there was a 2-week grace period or we would be charged a 10% restocking fee. How am I paying a restocking fee for something that isn’t even in stock, that I never even received? And you’re telling me it’s not even going to be in by the end of that grace period? So you just want to hold onto my money for 2 more weeks to delay the inevitable? Well, I hope that $60 restocking fee was worth us never purchasing another piece of furniture there again. Terrible service.
This store does not stand behind their products they sell. Our expensive king size mattress completely broke down and you can see two indents were two people sleep. Each side has a 2” depression. There is a hump in the middle. The company (warranty department) actually told us to put a 3/4” piece of plywood under the bed, if not it would void the warranty. They also said that it is normal for this to happen in modern mattresses!!!!! (Are you serious!) So I decided to stop in to the Ashley store. Huge joke!! I was told “we just go by that these companies will stand behind their warranty” I said well I know many other companies that stand behind what they sell. I can’t get any help from anyone!! I am far from done with this!! A $1,000.00 mattress that can’t be used and is less than 6 months old! Ashley furniture is a horrible store to work with!!
Worst customer service ever! They never call back. They don’t communicate with each other or with the customer. They don’t seem to care when there is a problem. They lie and tell you what you want to hear and then forget about you until you call the next time to question and then complain. Their computer systems don’t seem to be able to track anything correctly. They don’t keep notes on what other customer service reps have told you (or they don’t follow up with them) and they push blame on everyone else when they don’t have the answers you need. This rating isn’t even about the fact that so many of their customers have been waiting months and months for furniture with no clear answers on when the items will arrive, let alone be scheduled to be delivered.
My friend stopped by here one night to find a new couch and found that AND a nice matching chair too. She said she'd think about it and come back; the man working said he'd give her an additional percentage off. The next morning, we went to buy the set, and the manager and others who helped made sure she got the discount that she was promised! I can't say enough good things about the manager, Nicole, and Tammy and Sherry! They really made us feel like we were valued customers. They make a great team and I recommend them to anyone.

This place is a joke. In February ‘21 we ordered over $3000 worth of new living room furniture. It wasn’t delivered till the end of June ‘21. A week after it was delivered things started to feel loose and we where finding bolts on the floor under the sofa. Called them and they told me a service tech would call me in a few days. After 4 phone calls I finally got the service guy to call me in October ‘21. He agreed to send someone out the first week of November ‘21! Tech came out and spent a whole 5 mins looking at it and said he would have to get in touch with boss to order parts and I should get a call in 3 or so days. We’ll almost a month and I’m still waiting for that call. Bottom line: We waited 4 months for delivery only to wait 4 months only to still be waiting for repairs. Avoid this place at all costs.
Beautiful furniture/pricey/and can't buy anything unless willing to wait 3-4 months to get it. Not good for someone needing furniture right now.
Great experience for going the first time in my life. Our associate was Chris the guy was super friendly joked with us and was serious when he needed to be. He put the customer first. He answered tons of questions we had (being first time home owners we've never bought furniture before). This man walked the store with us for 4+hrs helping when needed and leaving for us to discuss when needed. He helped get us a queen sized bed suite and mattress for $3.5k! We will definitely be returning for farther purchases!

We were supposed to have out furniture delivered today…well let me tell you…My husband sent me a text at 1:48 this afternoon telling me that the delivery people would be at our house in 30 minutes. I left work and came home and waited and waited. I tried to call the store multiple times. it took me 8 tries before I got through to someone. I proceeded to tell her what was going. She informed me that the driver had the wrong address and our delivery time was between 1-5. Which my husband did tell me the driver did have the wrong address had given them the correct address at 1:57. I asked her if she could call them and find out exactly where they were, she tells me that they can’t communicate with the drivers that it’s a different company that delivers the items. She did then somehow talk to dispatch and she tells me that our furniture will not be delivered today that the driver went back to the warehouse. And we have to wait 72 hours before we get another day and time. So I call corporate, horrible experience. They just kept telling me that the driver had the wrong address despite me telling them that my husband had given them the correct address. Then proceeds to tell me that our correct address was not on the drivers route and when I asked her way the driver didn’t tell me husband that when he had given him the correct address she told me that the driver was new. So, back to waiting for my furniture Mind you it’s already been 2 months Extremely frustrated and disappointed
I walked into ashleys and was immediately met by a handsome gentleman in a jean jacket and platinum chain. Though i found it odd the collar was turned up and the cuffs of the jacket were the same. This guy knew his stuff. He immediately found the couch of my dreams, an ottoman, and the perfect dresser. i got a great price and when i asked for the bill to be itemized justin nailed it. accurately telling me :couch, ottoman, and dresser.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered a bedroom suit and a desk. I cancelled a desk to avoid an 89$ delivery fee for 2 deliveries, only to be charged a 220$ cancelation fee. When I cancelled bI was not informed of the cancellation fee. Worst customer service ever.
This place will not answer their phone or return your phone call. After one off attempt someone finally answered the phone. They said my sofa is ready to be scheduled but someone else had to call me to schedule it and I would get a call within the week. Lucky me.. it's been longer than a week. What is so hard about putting a date for delivery on a sheet. It wasn't like I would receive the sofa that day.

I came in to Ashley Furniture today, walked around the entire store and was totally ignored. When I went up to the front desk, employees were stuffing their mouths while trying to assist me, I actually had to wait until she swallowed. She told me to go to the computer were her male coworker was working and eating as well. He said he could order a furniture set for me and gave me the total cost. I asked if he could itemize the pieces for me and he stated " sofa, chair, etc." I said no, could I have the prices of each piece. He proceeds to give me a piece of paper and pen so I could write it down. I thought everything was so unprofessional, I highly doubt that I will purchase anything from Ashley Furniture.
Bought a dinner table 19 months ago and the gentleman told me that it would be 5years no interest on the payment so I planned for this. Here i am 20 months later wondering why my balance went up another $800 out of nowhere so I thought it was a glitch in the banking system. When I called the credit company that I pay my furniture through, they stated that my interest hold off was only for 18 months. They told me the only way to get the 5year no interest is if I call Ashley and they decide to do it. So I called this location and the general manager ADMITTED that the person that sold me the dining room set was fire for lying to customers and promising them 5 years no interest. She believed me when I told her about this and agreed it was wrong but offered me no chance and renegotiating my terms. She gave me the corporate number but told me they’re probably not going to do anything about it. Now my credit is declining and my limit is over. This place is never getting my business again. I’ll never shop at Ashley furniture ever again!
We purchased furniture 9 weeks ago. Not hearing from them after 8 weeks, we contacted them only to note that they still were waiting on 2 cushions! They made my wife very upset today by their poor response/customer care & the manger hung up on her. She was pretty upset and wondered if it was worth dealing with them to begin with? We had paid the money fully. Unprofessional behavior, rude. Would not recommend them
Their service is awful. They broke their promises. We paid in June and was told the product may come in October , November or later.I do not recommend it at all.
We ordered a new couch and bed frame from them 5 months ago we were told 8-12 weeks which we were okay with because we ordered months in advance of us moving but 12 weeks came and went and Nothing! We keep calling asking but of course they have no idea where it’s at or when its coming! They have our bed frame and half our sectional and we asked could we at least get the bed frame while we wait for the other half of the couch and they told us we would have to pay an extra delivery fee which is ridiculous in my opinion but my boyfriend paid the fee because we are tired of sleeping with the mattress on the floor then they hit us with the it’ll be 3 weeks till they can deliver it! And still no ETA on the couch! I will never order from them again and I advise you all not too!!
I will never purchase from Ashleys again every step of the way there was issues. The sofa fell apart the protection plan would not cover. I wont be shopping here again
Absolutely the worst customer service you can ever experience. God help you if you ever have an issue with their products, especially if you have their service plan. Their managers are the most combative and uncaring people I've ever encountered in the customer service industry. Go anywhere else, and avoid these people because it's not worth it in the long run. They'll even threaten to avoid having to answer for their defective furniture. If customer service matters to you when a problem arises, look anywhere and everywhere else or you'll regret it!
Walmart quality furniture for designer price. Ordered back in January and here we are in August still waiting on pieces. Had to put several items back on delivery truck because of damage. Delivery people are careless when bringing furniture inside. Ashley's only saving grace is the friendliness of their in-store employees but I still do not feel like I'm getting the product or services that I deserve for the price that we paid. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
DO NOT SHOP HERE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE My fiance and I ordered a full living room set in February 2021 with the typical 8-12 week lead time falsely communicated to us. Sales people told us what we wanted to hear to make the $5,000 sale. We waited 3 months and after 10+ calls to their customer service team/supervisors they "found" our items in the warehouse and scheduled delivery. The delivery people showed up and assembled everything. However, they forgot the ottoman legs so they took it back per their policy without any idea when they would replace it. I have called their customer service, spoken to corporate AND went to the store to hear the same thing: THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHERE MY OTTOMAN IS. I work in manufacturing for a large company in Lancaster, PA so I understand the impact of COVID on logistics and shipping overseas. I also understand that you DO NOT sell material that you can't get. Ashley is operating under extreme constraints on inventory from other countries but they continue to take our hard-earned cash while we sit here waiting. It's unethical and when I ask for a refund, they say I have to wait until the shipment arrives and then contact them. Wayfair has inventory and ships within a couple weeks. Smith Village is another local retailer that is head and shoulders above Ashley. Buyer beware! :)

Please use caution when purchasing from here. When coming into the store I made it very clear I wanted to look at items that had a shorter delivery time because we just bought a new home and had no furniture. Around this time we had just had a baby and really needed a place to relax. So back In February we spent over $5300 dollars thinking we could furnish multiple rooms. We were reassured that the items we were buying could be delivered in 8-12 weeks. Which was total figment of the the truth. Fast forward to July, the store can not track orders only corporate can. After repeated calls we have been referred back and forth between both store/corporate,neither one accepting any responsibility. Just this month we received part of our order and when calling today we’re told we should be able to get the rest by end of august. In short, “food for thought” when spending an excess of money and expecting good business practice. Do better and be honest!
I order my furniture in February, and still don't have it. Customer service is terrible. They have failed every deadline that they provided. Go somewhere else.
I've always liked Ashley home store they have a lot of furniture to chose from and everyone that works there are very nice there. We just purchased a beautiful sectional there and can't get over how comfortable it is! Chris was our sales person at the Ashley furniture in York, PA and he was very helpful and nice.
UPDATE August 24th: They have lost my server, it WAS in the warehouse but no longer is. My table and chairs finally arrived however my table was damaged so i've sent it back. Nobody is answering the phone and last I checked (2 weeks ago) my couch is also MIA, could be November before I see that. I moved into my house in March and I ordered a sleeper sofa and a dinning room table from them the day I moved in. I have guest coming in July and prioritized this purchase above all others for my new home. The sales man was very patient with my family and extremely helpful and informative. However, I ordered $5,000 worth of furniture from them and and it now July, well past the 8-12 week estimation. I can understand if there is an issue with Covid, but every time I call, nobody has any information about where my furniture is, when I can expect it, or an explanation as to why it isn't there. I asked for a way to escalate this issue to corporate to find out where my order is since their explanations are "We can only see what stage your order is in and nothing else" and they've told me that corporate has the same information they have. Which is nothing. For all I know my order has been lost and I am out 5 thousand dollars. I have guest arriving in a week. The sleeper sofa has not arrived nor has my dinning room table so I am stuck either having my guest eat and sleep on the floor or going to buy a temporary fix. I knew I had guest coming when I ordered this and was fine with the 8-12 week estimation, since it fell within the time to arrive before my guest. However if I had known it would be 14+ weeks with no knowledge of where my stuff was, I would have ordered furniture somewhere else. I love Ashley Furniture and I am a long time customer having exclusively bought couches, dressers, and dinning room tables from them loyally with every move my family has made in the past 13 years. Our second round of furniture will be an entire bedroom set and I am afraid to make a purchase from this Ashley Furniture because of this and it upsets me.
Customer service is very kind is all I can say. I ordered a couch on March 28 and they gave us an expected delivery of 8-12 weeks. I had no problem with that! I understand due to Covid things were expected to be backed up. It is well past the 12 week mark and no one there can give me a straight answer on when my couch will be delivered. Again, customer service is very kind they have been patient with me however this is absurd.
If you’re looking for a couch, that you want delivered in less than 4 months, do not buy from Ashley’s! We ordered one couch, one chair, and one ottoman on April 3, 2021. First, it was supposed to be delivered May 22. We made sure one of us could be home as we opted for porch delivery to save some dollars. Our ottoman arrived before May 22, great! Except the matching couch and chair got pushed back to June 8. Then again to June 29. As of now, we’ve gotten delayed a fourth time to July 29! In addition to making sure someone can be home, the cost (of over a thousand) comes in and out, pending to not pending each time the delivery date changes! How frustrating! Upon emailing customer service twice, I’m replied to with the same copy/paste message explaining it is the fault of the manufacture/COVID and they’re happy to cancel my order....instead of offering a discount to have the furniture installed, a coupon, or really no response would have been better than the responses I did receive. Safe to say we will not be furnishing our home with any future orders from Ashley’s. If they are this far behind with every single customer who doesn’t buy showroom pieces, how do they continue to be in business? They lie about their turn around time at the time of purchase. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere! *We did order online but we saw all 3 pieces in the store. Online was significantly cheaper for some reason. As you can see, the owner has responded to let me know it’s my fault for contacting the wrong customer service. He did not provide a contact for the correct customer service for online orders. Also, I don’t want a reselection (especially already having the ottoman) because why would I start this ridiculous wait time all over again? Officially giving up with this place and I hope to see my furniture before 2022!
I want to start by thanking the manager, Nicole, for speaking to me personally and offering assistance after an unpleasant encounter. I also want to thank the gentleman who helped assemble my furniture (Doug I believe) as well as the sales associate who ended up helping me. These staff members provided excellent customer service. I was shocked by the experience I had when walking in the store today. A sales associate, Chris headed over to me to give me the sales pitch. I understand that’s his job, but I went into the store with specific items in mind and I didn’t need assistance. When he started, I politely said, “I’m good. I am just looking.” He then continued on after I made it clear I didn’t need assistance. I once again said, “I really am just looking. Thanks.” He then spoke to me in an incredibly condescending tone saying, “You aren’t courteous. Im trying to tell you the sales” all in an aggressive, unfriendly tone. Being spoken to in this manner while entering a store is an instant turn off. I honestly have never encountered such an unpleasant sales associate. I only bought a couple barstools, but my intention was to buy much more as I just relocated from the Kansas City area a few weeks ago. However, the greeting I received left a very bad taste in my mouth and I left with only the bare minimum. I think it is important to have friendly, professional staff at the door as first impressions really are everything.
We purchased a couch for our new home. We were told 8 to 12 weeks for delivery time, with the hint that they think they will beat that lead time. Well 12 weeks has come and went and we literally cannot get a straight answer from anyone at the store. Furthermore they still have no idea when its coming, Completely unacceptable. I was literally given the statement, "It's made out of real wood." Ok? I will never ever shop here again. Post sale experience has ruined the entire experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a sectional April 19th, and had a late delivery date of 6/5. A few days before my couch was supposed to be delivered they sent me a NEW delivery date of 6/19.. I emailed a few days before 6/19 confirming my couch was still coming, and NEVER got an emailed response back until they once again sent me a NEW delivery date of 7/15. 3 months of waiting for a couch with NO communication on when or where my order was. This company is a joke.
Do not buy anything from here that is not in stock. I was told worst case I’ll be waiting 12 weeks. I was okay with that. It’s been over 12 weeks now and they have no estimated delivery date. There’s been no farther updates on my sectional. I’m upset they allowed me to purchase something so backed up. The sales woman Chevelle brought this piece to my attention. It wasn’t something they even had on their show room floor. I am very disappointed with Ashley Furniture and don’t think I will purchase from them in the future.
Will not be getting ashley furniture again I worked in the factory for 3 yrs knew when my family needed any new furniture thats where I would go have been waiting 3 months for furniture my child's bed is sitting in the warehouse they can't tell me when our recliner is coming in so I have two kids sleeping on mattresses on the floor so next time I'll get furniture somewhere else

Only regret I have in life is going to this store. Furniture fell apart in less then 2 years. Store owners should probably go to customer service training with how they spoke to me on the phone. Ended up being stuck with a sectional that was nothing but a lemon. Gonna get a lovesac sectional to replace this pos. Company’s like that at least stand behind there product. This company just gives you the run around and waists your time. If you don’t believe me check out the “Ashley homestore customer complaints” group on Facebook... you’ll be glad you did.

Don’t buy from this company!! Horrible customer service and will not help with anything. Bought a $4,000 sofa it came with seems coming un done. Then the ottoman came sinking in the middle. Called immediately the day after and have gotten no where. Even filed with BBB and have gotten no where. This company is a joke.
Do NOT get furniture from Ashley’s. We ordered in August to get furniture and had not received it until FEBRUARY! They never called us to communicate, we had to call them and they gave us false hope each time. Then when it was finally to be to be delivered they canceled and did not inform us! We had to call at 6pm to figure out where our furniture was. Horrible customer service, I’ve asked to speak with a managers and I’ve called corporate and I don’t get calls back. The last call I got regarding the horrible communication and delivery was “You’re just one of the thousands of customers, I don’t know what else to tell you.” If you’re wanting great service and timely delivery I suggest NOT going to Ashley’s. Please look at other vendors in the area, as I have had family and friends who have received must better customer service than Ashley’s.

We usually like the service from Ashley. But our favorite sales associate quit :(... Unfortunately, this time around our sales associate and customer service put in the wrong order which we didn’t discover until it was delivered today. We were supposed to get a dining room table and matching chairs and bench. The order showed up today and the chairs were right but they ordered us a counter top height table... so now I have no table and only chairs and we have to wait another 8-12 weeks for our table. Called the manager and made me feel of little importance and offered no help other than to say we have to wait. I’m going to take my business elsewhere from now on. It’s a shame, we have given a lot of business to this store.
A lot of nice furniture, pricey but nice quality. Extremely long wait times for delivery though, our pieces are on backorder so they told us 8-12 weeks. Free delivery is only on purchases over $2,000 which isn't too hard to spend there. If you purchase make sure you read the back of your order they have very store friendly cancelation and or return policies. 72 hours is all you have to cancel before some pretty outrageous and hefty fees start to kick in. Floor model sales are final too so as the saying goes Buyer Beware!
We bought a couch with a year limited warranty. The bottom rail is bent or broke. I called to report it. Someone was supposed to call me back, they never did. I called again and was told they would call me again. My next call is going to be to the Better Business Bureau. Then I'll put it on Facebook.
I disagree. They bring you in with sales and then don't have it in stocks or the size you need. We went to another store and if they didn't have it they would order it. But here’s the kicker the store owner called me 2 weeks later telling me how I was wrong. No wonder why there employee turnover is so high when the store owner acts like a child. Wait for your next big sale this couch will be coming back in proper fashion. If you want to save yourself a headache do not buy furniture from this company. I bought a couch and chair on Labor Day 2020 and still don’t have them. Every time I call and talk to them (they never call me) the delivery date changes and gets pushed back. They still can’t give me a delivery date and have not gotten any kind of apology.
This store is a joke. They do not stand behind their products at all. I purchased a $1000 reclining sofa 1 year ago with the 5 year warranty. I was told it covers anything for 5 years. Less then 1 year later the synthetic leather is cracking all over the seat and back rest area. The person at store level referred me to the warranty company where they told me this is not covered. They said the store factory warranty should have covered that. The service department was not helpful at all and told me that it was only covered during initial delivery. So if you purchased from Ashley don't expect to have any actual warranty. Cheap low quality products with terrible customer service.
We purchased a sectional for our family room August 26th. We have a contract that says 6-8 weeks for delivery. It was an inconvenience to wait that long, but we really liked the sectional. October came and went and we still didn't have our sectional. They pushed the date to mid-November. November came and went. They pushed the date back to mid-December. We are still waiting for our furniture. We are being told the end of January, now. I will never set foot in that store again. I would advise you to steer clear, unless you think waiting 5 months, (or longer) is acceptable. When I asked the office manager, Oscar, if Ashley planned to compensate their customers for having to wait so long, he got an attitude. He told me this wasn't an Ashley problem, it was a manufacturer's problem. Ashley is the manufacturer, so explain that!
Atmosphere was fine, service was friendly, but had to cancel making any sale due to insane policy. The sign out front said 60% off AND free shipping. The sofa set we wanted was out of stock, and would take 12 weeks(!) to deliver. So we asked if he could do anything for the wait (since we couldn't take the floor model) bit tried to play off a 60% break even though it was already on sale that much, then sprung the shipping charge on us. It was another $140!! Which, correct me if I'm wrong, is not the same as free shipping. So I cancelled that and just wanted to buy a case and a pillow. After waiting alone at the register for almost ten minutes, someone came up to run the register. Until I needed to supply my name, address, email, etc to buy a glass bottle and bag of fluff. Once I said I didn't feel comfortable with that he and the manager(?) other sales associate (?) walked off to do something, and after a couple more minutes we just left without buying anything. I do not expect to return. But they were polite, and the showroom was pleasant. So there's that.
I was told I'd get my furniture in 8-12 weeks. Every time I've called I've been told a different date. I've been told it's not their problem, it's a warehouse issue, but yet they continue to have all kinds of sales. I already paid $1500 in August and have NO furniture. This is unacceptable service and I will never buy anything here again, nor will I recommend this place!
I will never buy from Ashley furniture again. The stand I received is broken to the point it can't be put together at all. When I reached out to customer service and corporate, I have been ignored repeatedly for over a month. I now have to get the BBB involved. Absolutely ridiculous.
Quality is to be expected for what you pay. Problem is: Ordering from Ashley furniture store is more expensive than online or through another vendor, such as amazon. They take full payment up front, rather than a deposit at purchase and remainder at delivery. CS will tell you 3-5 weeks when from date of purchase. When you call at 5 weeks for an update: They'll tell you the agreement you signed says 4-6 weeks. When you call back at 6 weeks: they will tell you they're experiencing delays and most items are delivered in 6-8 weeks. @ 8 weeks: you'll be told very rudely that you'll get your items when they come in. @ 13 weeks when your husband calls and asks what he needs to do to cancel the order, they will call you the VERY NEXT DAY to tell you your items are in. Customer service reps are incredibly impatient and rude over the phone. Overall very poor experience on two separate orders. I do not recommend this store.
I had THE BEST experience at this store!! Steven Price was SO HELPFUL when looking for different furniture pieces. The following day I worked with a newer salesman who was clearly learning, but was VERY POLITE!! Here's where they SHINED!! Horace Worthington is their hidden gem! I had misunderstood some financing details and was misinformed, at 1 point, by the newer employee. However, I made the purchases without doing my proper research, which I ALWAYS do!! Let me be clear, I made the mistake of not properly researching things prior to making the purchases. I made the purchase even though I knew my budget would be tight with only 6 months interest free financing instead of 60 months. I was able to find my items online cheaper and they will arrive sooner. Some are from Ashley Furniture Online. My pride was hurt to have to go back in and ask for a refund, but I was so pleasantly surprised at how gently Horace handled this. He very quickly and happily refunded the purchases for me. He even waited while I purchased one item from a competitors website to ensure I would be able to have the items delivered to my home without issue, before canceling my sale with Ashley so I wouldn't lose my discount with them in case they wouldn't deliver to PA. This is a place I can wholeheartedly recommend! Thank you Horace for providing THE BEST customer service experience I've had in a VERY LONG TIME!
After a mistake was made on the pricing of a piece of furniture a deal was struck and supposedly having to get a supervisor's permission was what I was waiting on. It has been over an hour and I'm still waiting currently I have left the store because my job called and I needed to get back. Apparently the higher-ups at Ashley do not care about what their customers have going on in their lives and are keeping them waiting on one of the busiest days of the year instead of just getting approval and getting it over with. I will stop back after doing what I have to do for my job and see if things have gotten cleared up. If not I would suggest staying far away from this place either way.
If you visit York, PA store ask for Justin, he is a very nice guy with a lot of patience!!! He took the time to showed me different accent chairs and other furniture around the store and on-line to find what I was looking for... Excellent customer service at the checked out Ali B was very helpful (she knows her job) and fun to work with).

Terrible business. Waiting on a furniture for what was supposed to be 8-12 weeks which was fine. Called when 12 weeks was up because I had not heard anything and employee was not sure when furniture was going to be in, called again and was told it would be AT LEAST another 2 months. I had to figure all this out on my own, pathetic excuse of a company, absolutely no way to treat a paying customer.
Horrible customer service. Have been waiting over 32 weeks for a couch and no one has ever reached out to me. I only get new information when I call and ask. How unprofessional
I purchased a bed, box spring, two pillows and covers for all they told me with buying the extra covers it covers it through them. Well a year later a spring is sticking out one of the corners of my bed and it’s very uncomfortable to sleep on anymore. I called them to let them know the lady that answers the phones said I had to contact the manufacturer for the warranty then why did your sales person assure us that the cover we bought is covered through them. They are rude when calling and the information I was given was very misleading I will not ever go into this store again. I will go to other Ashley furniture stores and make my future purchases.

Okay. Just a PSA, do NOT buy from ashely furniture. We bought a sectional and a table back in July....July people. It’s freaking October. So back when we bought it, we were told it would take 6-8 weeks to be delivered due to COVID. That fine. We understand. Then the 8 weeks past and we heard nothing. I called them and they said it would be the end of September. That came and I called again and they said the middle of October. I called again and they said the end of November. Really?! I get delays happen but not once did I receive a phone call. So finally we just cancelled the couch and decided to get the table because it was supposed to be ready. They said it would come on Saturday. I get a confirmation call today. Perfect. Then I get another call later today that says they inspected the table and it was damaged so it would not be coming tomorrow. SERIOUSLY?! honestly I’m so over it at this point. I will never buy from Ashley Homestore again!!
Excellent service. I bought a mid-grade couch because it was the most appealing for my space and it's not holding up very well to normal use after four years.

Zero stars! This place sucks. Called 4 weeks in a row to ask for a price on a recliner was told everyone was busy can I have someone call you back. Well here it&'s 4 weeks and no call back. Oh and don&'t yet the warranty cause they don&'t honor it. Always has an excuse why it&'s not covered. Run away as fast as you can.

Today was a great day! I bought the perfect sofa for my new home as well as a bed, mattress, dresser, night stand and fuzzy pillow. Justin T. was such a great help in guiding me on prices and models of mattresses. Also Ali was efficient and informative during checkout. 100% recommend Ashley for anybody looking to buy furniture.
The worst customer service experience. My fiance and I walked in expecting to purchase a few things. One staff member did greet us and walked us to where we needed to look. When we had questions we did walk back up to the desk at front and ask for help, we were told to wait a few moments. No one came over to us (after waiting over 30 minutes). We had multiple staff walk by us and we stated we have questions but they either never returned or said they would send someone else over. It was not busy. Multiple staff standing around not assisting other customers or helping customers that just walked in behind us. We will not be returning.

Furniture is good quality and happy with the purchase itself. However, the delivery was 3 full weeks later than I was told it would be, so a total of 8 weeks for delivery. To me this is unacceptable for a store that does not custom make furniture.

Shame on you ASHLEY HOMESTORE!! I have been waiting patiently for a lulu’s dresser since April 27 and received a delivery date for June 8 but they (Ashley Homestore) had to reschedule due to out of stock and Covid-19. Later in mid June I received a call informing me about a delivery date for June 30. Well I called today (June 30) because I have not received a delivery time, and they told me that my order was canceled and was canceled since June 18 but did not informed me until I called today. Poor customer service Ashley HomeStore! You failed to consult with the customer before you cancel my (customer) order. Shame on you!!! 😡😡😡

They have to be the worst by far for dealing with warranty issues. If you do a claim on their product. Don’t be surprised when they tell you that you now have to buy a new one on the product that they replaced. Also, that you have to pay to ship it to you. When just questioning this to the manager you apparently have an attitude and he will just give one 100% more back to you. All I basically wanted was you to apologize and correct the on going issue with my product. That I was told would keep happening. GREAT customer service there Horace Washington! Needless to say all my purchases use to be through Ashley. NOT NO MORE. I would rather spend a little extra for good customer service and management.
My husband and I went there today for new living room furniture. We were very pleased. They had extended last weeks sale with 50% off and no sales tax added and free delivery and this started our visit off on the right foot. We were very pleased with the selection they had which was alot and then we were greeted by Craig a salesman. He wanted to know what we were looking for and directed us to the area we needed to be and then just left us alone to look and try things out checking on us once in awhile to make sure we didn't have questions. Once we decided what we wanted we told him we were ready to make a sale. He was very cordial and knowledgeable. We mentioned to him that we had a dollar amount to spend so when he suggested the maintenance insurance we rejected it because we had already gone over budget a little. He worked with us and gave us an extra 5% off the furniture so he could work the insurance into the price at a cost that was just a couple of dollars over our original cost. I loved this since I really did want that insurance because of the power recliners. Then when we went to pay the bill a lady named Sheayna took care of us and was exceptional also. We were told it could take up to 6 weeks for delivery because of backup but then surprised us by asking if next week delivery would be possible for us. The store was very clean. Everyone had masks on and everyone did social distancing. I know that some stores are allowing people in without a mask if they raise a fuss which makes me very uncomfortable since I'm high risk and upsets me. I want to go out in the world and do things too like everyone else but I want to feel safe doing it. I have thought about getting a shirt made that says " my life matters please wear a mask" lol. But I felt awesome in the ashley store. All in all we will be back in the fall to do our bedroom furniture without any reservations at all. Thank you Craig and Sheayna for making our new furniture purchase a most pleasant experience.

First experience at Ashley Furniture where we were looking for a couch. Jensen greeted us at the door and told us about the sales and gave us time to look around. When we approached her with questions regarding several of the sectionals she willingly showed us around at the options we had based on our needs. She was patient with our questions, going back and forth between a few options and the many questions our almost 5 year old son had about the store. Jensen even drew a small sketch so we could explain the room and she was able to help picture what would be best for the space. Oscar, who checked us out Was very nice as well and scheduled a speedy delivery for us! The store was clean and we loved that they had so many options for the industrial style we are going for. Will be back.

Grant A. greeted us as we entered the store. He asked us what we were interested in and directed us to what we were seeking. Grant gave us personalized service throughout our visit to the store. We made two purchases that evening and Ali B took care of our financing agreement and explained the warranties we purchased. A few evenings later we came to pay for one of our purchases. Mary helped us with our second purchase and arranged our delivery date for the furniture. Everyone at the store were courteous, professional and customer focused. Update although the sales staff was friendly and customer focused. The living room furniture came and we were sent a slate gray sofa and love seat with a mahogany chair and hassock. That was the first mistake so we sent the Mahogany colored chair back to get it in slate gray chair and hassock. Our original request was for all Mahogany pieces but someone entered the incorrect information. Mistake number two we ordered a dining room set and wanted the six cloth guess chairs and wooden chairs for the head of the table. We got eight wooden chairs instead of the six cloth chairs and two wooden chairs. We called the store and was told what was ordered and paid for was the wooden chairs again another data entry mistake. In order to get the chairs that we originally requested we were told it would be a long process and cost an additional $300, so we kept the wooden chairs. While we were on the phone the customer service rep tried several times to get the manager on the line but that never happened. I will never shop at this store again unless it is in stock and can take it home the same day.
I recently purchased a beautiful sectional from Ashely homestore as soon as we walked in the store we were greeted by Kayla. We gave her a quick tidbit of what we were looking for, and right from the bat the first one she showed us was dead on what we were looking for. Two days later after thinking it over we went back and again kayla was right there to assist in the purchase along with Sheayna. Both these girls made my experience amazing!!!

We decided to buy new furniture so we went to Ashley furniture on 30 we found the furniture that we wanted they told us that we had an option of 3 colors so we picked out the color we wanted the girl goes to ring it up she comes back and says the color we picked out was more expensive needless to say we walked out I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone Ps. We went to discount furniture on E. Market st. And got better furniture better service Lane furniture is a 100% better than Ashley

I did just that and wound up getting a great deal on not just one sleep sofa, but TWO sleep sofas, plus a chair and ottoman! We had a great experience at Ashley’s and with Justin T. Additionally, Mary H. at customer service was great. She had our purchasing papers ready and we were out the door in no time.
My husband & I walked in looking for a living room sectional. Katelyn C. Greeted us and even stayed 45 minutes late to assist us in purchasing an additional set for our basement that was not originally in our plan. The staff were very helpful & courteous. We are waiting for delivery of both sets right now but are content with our experience.

We went in to look at a sofa we saw online and ended up buying an adjustable bed foundation and a new mattress. Justin was our sales associate. While seeing how I liked the feel of a sofa, I mentioned having back issues. Justin suggested the adjustable bed foundation, saying it could possibly help with my back pain and enable me to sleep better. I immediately felt pain relief with the suggested bed position. After years of pain and health problems, to be able to lie in bed painless was amazing. After seeing my response to this, my husband decided we were buying a bed system and a sofa can wait. Thank you Justin. I think you may have helped to change my life for the better and I can’t wait for the bed to arrive!

We had purchased a couch and when delivered it was wrong. We were told that it would be another two weeks before they could come back with the right couch(after we already waited a week and got rid of our old couch). We called and made arrangements to pick it up ourselves from the warehouse…. Promised a return for our $100 delivery fee which we never received. Will never do Business with Ashley furniture again We unfortunately bought right before covid hit. If we wouldn’t have gone and got the coach ourselves we would’ve been without a coach for a year!!!

We visited Ashley to browse for bedroom furniture for our children. We hadn’t really planned on purchasing that day, but were pleasantly surprised by the sales they were having that weekend. Mara was initially in our salesperson. She was very helpful in answering all our questions. After getting an idea of the value of the furniture they were offering, we shopped at other stores to compare. Ultimately, we came back to Ashley to make our final purchase. When we returned, Justin was very helpful while we were making our final decisions. Oscar was also very thorough explaining the payment and delivery details. Overall, great experience with everyone involved in our purchase!

STAY away from this place! The customer service is awful, especially after the sale. I’ve had issues with my furniture since it was delivered. And Ashley says, sorry, nothing we can do... Brand new furniture that looks worse than the 8 year old furniture I replaced. It is so poorly made. The entire couch is piling. I paid for the extra Warranty for them to tell me, nope, that’s not covered. (If I could give it a 0, I would!)
I stopped in to take a nap after I left old country buffet but after only napping for may 45 minutes I was told I had to leave and I was very startled by everything going on I almost thought I was back at Iwo Jima during the war so I told them that old country buffet said I had to leave if I wanted to sleep too so it was either here or nothing since im a veteran i should get a discount and be able to take a short nap on the account of diabetes.

My husband and I were in this weekend to look for a sectional for our living room. We did not measure our room first. 🤪 The salesperson, Kim (she goes by Michelle), was super helpful and laid out numerous options for us that could possibly fit our space. We were torn between two pieces, and we needed to get measurements so we made the plan to return the next day. She had worked up prices (and deals!) for us and had them waiting for us when we arrived. Alex, the supervising manager, was with us both days to assist with getting us a great deal. He walked us through the options and price quotes and then turned is over to Oscar in guest services to finalize our purchase. EVERYONE was helpful and friendly. We had support as soon as we walked through the doors, but we were also given space to browse and explore. I would HIGHLY recommend buying furniture here. We are super excited about our new sofa sectional and couldn't have been happier with the service we received!!

Went in got quoted 1900$ went online on ashley furniture's website got the same set for 1500$ free shipping. The sales rep from the store called us a week later to try and sell us something and was very rude because we didnt go through him and didn't give him a chance to give us a better "deal". Frustrated beyond belief. I bought a power sofa and love seat combo in brown leather from Ashley Homestore (Ashley Furniture) on Loucks Rd York Pa, it was delivered on Jan 6th, i needed something they had in stock with a quick deliver time, when the delivery arrived the 2 men brought in the sofa first then the love seat, as they were setting it up i was trying to inspect it and found that there was something not right with it, they were in such a hurry to leave my home that they never tested the power to see if it worked, with that said, the head rest on the love seat did not work, they said they would send a tech to check it out, well when that call came in they were scheduling a month out. i investigated further to find they never plugged in the power to the head rest. so i did not need the tech to come, Ashley with all the photos i sent via email deemed the sofa defective, now keep in mind i had to keep this leather furniture covered since i have dogs and did not want them to cause any harm to the pieces. on Jan 14 the replacement sofa arrived they took out the first piece and called me to come look at the new one, what did i see but another damaged piece, i refused delivery they brought in the first piece and placed it back in its spot. as i was covering it i noticed some scratched on the leather so i took pics and sent them over to the store along with the pics of the new damaged piece. the corp office examined the photos and stated that there is nothing wrong with the sofa the brought as a replacement. UGh. one of the store managers called me that night to tell me that she needed an new photo of the seat cushion on the love seat from the original deliver on 1/6 since there was a score slice from the box cutter used to open the packaging. Well my options were to exchange the set for something else. or get a full refund, that was last week 1/14, i asked if they were to give me a deep discount i would consider keeping the set, the manager was to call me back on 1/14 or 1/15 with this information for me to make a decision, as of yesterday 1/23 i had heard nothing so i called the store to find out that Ashley Furniture was not willing to give me a full refund, just $100 back to my visa or $150.00 in store credit. well my next step to to file a complaint with the AG office BBB and the local district court to get a resolution to this problem. if it was not damaged or defective why would they deliver me a replacement (which was also damaged)

The sales associate we had (Michelle) was kind, and did not hover. However when we were ready to discuss a purchase, she was knowledgeable and capable. The only real disappointment was the pieces of furniture we purchased were not in stock and we have to wait 5 to 6 weeks for them.
Had a wonderful experience purchasing a sectional here. Jensen is the best salesperson I have ever worked with! Friendly, helpful, personal, and didn’t pressure us at all. Oscar was awesome to close-out the sale with and was super personable. We drove 45 minutes from where we live to York, just to work with this store and the people.
Salesmen was disinterested when asking about lowered price furniture. Ordered same thing online for 200 less at Ashley's online store
I just went in the store to buy two brand new white end tables that I saw online. The store personnel quoted me a price that was 30% more than it would have been online. She could offer no reasoning. So I say buy things online. I would only go to the store to see what it looks like in person.

Great place with great prices. Our sales lady was Victoria who was amazing. She was there to answer all our questions but wasn't breathing down our necks the whole time, which is very appreciative! Our furniture hasn't been shipped yet, so hopefully that goes as smoothly as buying it.
I do not recommend this place. One month ago they delivered the broken coach, they do not want to repair. We called them immediately, but they do not want to do anything, though we paid for the premium protection plan optionally. They are too nice when they want to sell, but they do not care when they receive your money.

True rating would be a zero! I honestly regret purchasing from Ashley for the 2nd time. Their customer services is terrible and very frustrating! I was informed a manager would return my call. Three days have passed and no return call has been made. I called in this evening, only to receive a voicemail that says we will promptly return your call. I laugh in sarcasm to my husband and immediatly redial. I'm then informed by Oscar that there is a note on my account stating a manager would return my call. A manager return my 2nd call to only tell me there was no note for a manager to return my 1st call. Then proceeds to tell me he'll take a screenshot and send it to me; like really! The note was problemly deleted or I was just completed lied too! Way to go with great customer service! My last experience with Ashley was horrible and regret giving them a 2nd chance! Last time it took them 3 times to delivery a large sectional with no damages. First couch arrived with forklift damage through the whole love seat. Second time the pull out queen bed was broken and missing pieces. Third time they delivered the couch without the queen mattress. Each time I would call, customer service was horrible and lack of response!
Lily helped me tremendously right when I walked through the door. She showed me the furniture that was in my price range and gave me time to check out the furniture and shop. Through her guidance and expertise I was able to purchase furniture that suited my home and budget. 10/10 recommend!
Edit--- Their Floor Service Reps are still on par in my previous review. However be prepared to wait maybe another 6 months longer than they suggest. I was expecting a baby when I ordered my last couch and they told me the furniture would be delivered long before the baby arrived. I was so disappointed and also overwhelmed (I was 3 weeks postpartum) when the furniture did not arrive as plan and they kept pushing delivery date back and when it finally came I had my little one born and it was just such a frustrating experience and sadly because of this I probably will not ever use them again. Original Review ---My mother and I went to Ashley Homestore in search of new living room couches. We were assisted by the lovely Lily and found the perfect couches and accent chairs for moms living room. Everytime I go furniture shopping I feel pushed or rushed but not here, Lily allowed us to look around at our own pace and helped us figure out dimensions to fit our room.
False advertising told me no interest for 24 months I get my second bill and there&'s interest on there they really need to get their act together! And you really have to compare prices not quality furniture! They&'ve lost my business.

She was soo wonderful to work with and did not disappoint. She was patient and honest. There were no tricks up her sleeve, she was not pushy... she simply helped us find what we wanted, gave us the best deal possible and now we are patiently waiting for the arrival of our new items! I have never been more disappoiny4d in a retailer ever. We are on delivery number 3 and the order is still damaged. When calling l, what they call customer service, theycant help you without pictures. Pictures their delivery people took and submitted amd were not good enough. So you call and start to get help they won&'t help you so you ask for a supervisor and they place you on hold for over an hour!!! The WORST SERVICE EVER!!! The most annoying is why your waiting on never ending g hold they play a loop tape about how important customers are and how their service is so important..... I believe they are just poorly trained inadequate people who dont know th first thing about service they have no tools to handle customer service this is ridiculous!!! Don&'t buy from this company if you need good undamaged products or would like customer service

This store price gouges i had a store credit and everything i asked for a price on was higher than online and i called other stores. They tried to take advantage of me because i had a store credit well i went to harrisburg and they took care of it. The corporate office wouldn't do anything either so i will never buy anything from ashley home stores ever again I encourage everyone to shop elsewhere all this furniture is overpriced junk.

My name is Myra Fry. I went to Ashley’s furniture in York PA, the salesman was great. They told me it would take 6 wks to get my furniture. I had to call them to find out my furniture was at the warehouse. Long story short I told them to cancel my order they want 30% restocking fee for something that’s still in the warehouse. Don’t do business with this store. Amy is the person I told to cancel my order. She said she was going to call later in the day and she still hasn’t called. Bad business!!!!

I am giving Ashley Furniture a FIVE STAR rating because the furniture is beautiful and sturdy! I purchased furniture back in 2014, and again this past weekend! A week before my purchase, I was window shopping and a sales rep named Jensen helped me out. Jensen spent well over a half hour with me. She was kind, professional, funny, and never once made me feel like a “commission sale” (or hinderance bc I didn’t buy the same day). When I went back for my purchases, Jensen stayed with me and my family answering every question and showing us everything we wanted to see; we were not her only consumer guests that day, but you couldn’t tell. In a world where commissioned sales can be abrupt and cold, Miss Jensen made us feel at home and un-rushed. In the end, we spent a sizable amount and I can’t wait for my furniture to be delivered!! Start to finish 0 out of 10, ratings are bogus they beg during sale process to give them 5 stars before you leave or have stuff half delivered or half damaged, on 3rd piece for daughters suit which was the same damage as first and second piece , just know I'm not even picky the stuff was badly damaged! Costumer service is great and phenomenal in this stores location ! . It&'s the delivery team and Corp. office which is horrible service . I bought brand new furniture in cash it took two weeks to deliver it. They broke my door frame, and delivered me a broken sofa with the springs popping out of the bottom. I noticed it within 12 hrs of there delivery and called them immediately to tell them about the damages done to my apartment and that the sofa was broken . The representative told me someone will get back to me in on Monday and will handle the situation. It has been 2 weeks and now they say it is too late that it has already been accepting into my house house and I had 72hr to report, and that they can only send a repair man to fix the sofa. I will NEVER GO BACK TO ASHLEYYYYY. They are a disgrace and horrible business. Becareful of what you buy. This is a lesson learn that Ashley furniture is not out to please the consumer but just to nickle and dime you any chance they can. When can the repair man come to fix it you ask ? Mid December which is roughly 2 months after purchased date. So now I have a broken sofa in my living that I cannot sit on for the next few months . Thank you Ashley !

My wife and I were out shopping to replace a worn-out Recliner and Love seat. We stopped at Wolf' s first since this is where we bought the first set. We weren't impressed with their service. So we thought we would stop at Ashley Furniture. This was one of the stores that I checked out online. As soon as we walked in, we were met with a smiling face named Jensen. She asked what we were looking for, so I showed her a picture of what we were there for. She went out of her way to show us what was available on the floor. The problem was most of the Loveseats had the section between the two seats, which meant, it wouldn't fit our room. She even went back and looked in the electronic catalog for us. It turns out after talking to my wife, we went with the first set that she showed us. The thing we liked about her she didn't try and sell us something we didn't want as other salespeople do. I would recommend her to our friends and relatives.
So the comment by Jessica O about wanting to help resolve our problem was more dishonestly by Ashley Furniture. No one called or wrote back. No one has agreed to help. I would bet that is the same-statement that pops up whenever there is a poor review and they want people to believe they will help. Again, think twice before purchasing from this store.

Went in and purchased furniture 3 weeks before I moved into my apartment and it still took 5 weeks to receive it. Once received the glass tops for the tables were missing, I was told they would have them maid directly to my apartment and would receive them in 7 - 10 business days. One the 11th day I called to see were the tops were and was advised they would check on them but it will not be unlit Monday before they could get back to me since it was Friday evening. When I did not get a call back Monday I called Tuesday, and was advised I would have my tops by the 21st, unacceptable! The 21st over 2 months after the original purchase date, and still no tops!!!

Worst experience buying anything in my life. I bought 2 couches, a dining room set and a tv stand on May 31st. While there I gave them a delivery date of July 27th and they said that's fine and they will do it. So a week before July 27th I call and confirm what time they will be delivering. They tell me the furniture will not be in on the 27th. They said it was in but they sent it back to the warehouse after it sits in the store for 2 weeks. Why would they even send it from the warehouse to the store if they saw the date it was to be delivered was more than 2 weeks out? So then on the day I called them they reordered my furniture and said it will be 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I call and see what's up. They say it's not there yet. I call a week later and it's still not there. Then a week later they finally call to set up delivery. They schedule it another 2 weeks away! So I expected the furniture on July 27th and went without furniture for 2 months after that! And throughout the process they have been no help over the phone. No one really cared about the situation. And on top of all this, I set up payments every month for the furniture through their credit company. They charged my bank for the entire bill when I had a set amount per month to pay! Super disappointed and will never buy a thing from Ashley furniture again.

Took 5 weeks to get my furniture, even then it was missing pieces, now getting the run around about when I will get the remaining glass table tops that I was promised I would have in 7 to 10 business days, now its going to be another month. Now I have to contact the BBB. Poor customer service!

I would have given 5 stars if this was based solely on our experience with our sales associate, Grant. He was absolutely the best. He wasnt pushy at all and understood the type of customer we were, what we were looking for, and our budget. He made the experience very enjoyable. However, when I was done working with Grant and handling the purchasing side of things at Guest Services, I was very thrown. The associate was robotic when she was describing the process and didn't make eye contact with me as if I was one of 500 people she had spoken to that day. Mind you, I came back a second time that day to finalize the purchase. I got home after the second trip, and received a phone call that I had to come back in because she had missed a form I needed to sign. Of course I ended up going back later that week but it was completely unnecessary had she been paying attention and treating me like a unique customer instead of like any other person. I understand how mundane things can be but the person making a purchase isn't at fault for that. I have worked in sales and regardless of how many people you've spoken to that day it's important to treat people with respect. I was disappointed with her tone even calling me to tell me I needed to come back in... she made it sound like I had made the mistake, even though I was never explained the different forms I would be signing. However, when I presented the cash to make my purchase, she was very interested in checking every single bill over and over. All that aside, Grant made up for the negative experience with guest services.
Craig welcomed us as we walked through the door and was happy to educate us about the sale that was happening. He let us walk around a bit and didn't hover over us (I hate when sales people hover). When we needed help, we found Craig and he is more than happy to tell us about the sectional we were looking at and explain how delivery works. We ended up having to leave and rub home and do measurements and when we came back, we found Craig to purchase the sectional. Craig was great from start to finish, and if we end up coming back for more furniture, we will be asking for him. We can't wait until our sectional is delivered!

I went into Ashley HOMESTORE two days ago. I was greeted by Cindy Spickler. I explained to Cindy in the beginning that I was not in the store to purchase that day. My husband and I are in the process of building a home in North Carolina and that I chose Ashley Furniture Store because I know that there is a store near to where we will be living. Knowing this, Cindy continued to be very pleasant and she is very knowledgeable as well. I was looking for a sofa with one long seat cushion. My thought is that if we needed to use this sofa for sleeping, we could. I don't want a sofa sleeper. Cindy showed me several items that might work for our situation. I was very impressed with Cindy! When we are ready to purchase furniture for our new home in North Carolina, we will go to Ashley because of the way Cindy treated me two days ago in York Pennsylvania.

We went into the store in York. We are from Kansas City Missouri and we don't have a store there and I have been looking on line at some items. I wanted see them in a store Cindy Spickler helped us with measurements and prices. We told her why we in the store. Just bought a small sectional for our living room, and it was a toss up between looking here and La-Z-Boy. The selection at Ashley was great and the value beat their competitor. Carolyn was our salesperson and was so helpful without being overbearing. Be sure to ask for her when you go in - she will help you find what you are looking for yet give you the space to wander and shop. Will definitely return for our future furniture needs!

Very good experience with this place . Ordered a sofa on a Wednesday and it showed up the following Tuesday. The movers waited 20 minutes for me to get home and were professional .
Only reason for 1 stars was their great sales people on the floor. Very helpful and wanted to get you the right couch. Customer service on the other hand is terrible. When my couch arrived the movers scratched up my brand new floors. Had to call Ashley several times until there was a response from their ware house. I realized the couch didn't fit my house well and wanted to work out returning a piece of the sectional. Even if it has only been a few weeks of owning it they will not take it back. And i was told even if it had been one week they would charge over a 30% restocking fee. Which means to me they don't care if you are happy with your couple thousand dollar purchase. Will not buy from Ashley again. Worst customer service i have ever had. I am a young home owner and they lost a customer who could spend thousands over the lifetime of furniture needs for a couple hundred dollars.
Lily made our experience so great. We looked at other stores in the area for a couch and were getting down and frustrated. We walked in and she changed our whole attitude! Super comfortable couches and she worked with us to make a larger sectional smaller for my home. Absolutely recommend.

Jim greeted us at the door and assisted us in purchasing a couch. This is the second time we bought furniture from Ashley and we have always been thrilled with the service and quality. The insurance plan they offer is a no-brainer, especially because we can use that money towards future purchases!
We were looking for a glider for my daughter&'s nursery. The first salesman we saw showed us a chair, and then walked away to speak with another customer--completely ignoring us. That is the second time I&'ve been into this store, and it will be my last. What poor customer service!

We purchased a leather sectional here a little over a year ago and 5 months ago the springs started to go. Reached out to management and there customer service department several times, sent pictures at there request, and never received a response. At the end of the day we stopped hearing from them. Now the sectional is super uncomfortable, and what we thought was going to last for ten years didn’t even make it to one. Loved it at first but now have major regrets considering the amount we paid for this piece of furniture.

Would give a 0 if I could. Had our awesome sofa 1 day. That night sitting on it, heard a crack and it shifted. Next day went on vacation. Called as soon as we came home, they will not give us a new sofa. Have to have a technician come out to repair it!! After having it 1 day!! Paid $900 for a sofa that is broke and will only be repaired. What a joke. Will never buy from them again. Buyer beware.
THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Let me start off by saying I have spent over $7,000 in this establishment and the whole reason I went there in the first place was to get good quality furniture and that is the exact opposite of what I got. In November 2018 my husband and I purchased a tempurpedic mattress, two tempurpedic pillows, bed frame and two night stands. Set up a expected delivery date and was extremely happy with the sales rep, Grant, that took care of us. Then the delivery date came...No delivery....No phone call to let me know they weren't coming either. At his point I had already gotten rid of my old mattress and bed frame ready for my new one. When I called they told me that they had to reschedule another day to deliver which was over two weeks out! So I went into the store to get my money back and go elsewhere. I told them that I had no bed to sleep on because I have already gotten rid of my old one and now was currently sleeping on the floor and know one could even call me to let me know! The manager did end up giving me $200.00 in gift cards for the store and the pillows (which I had to sew because they were both ripped at the seams) for free for the inconvenience. When I did finally get my bed frame it was damaged...They did give me a loaner frame to use until the new one came in. Meanwhile I put a rubber coaster on the one nightstand and when picked it up took the finish off the nightstand!! I didn't even put a drink on the coaster yet. Called into the store they would not fix this because I didn't purchase the extended warranty. I was extremely upset because I even offered to pay to have it fixed and they would only sell me another one. Now 7/2019 , after all that with the bed frame and nightstand I decided to give Ashley Furniture another chance and use the $200.00 in gift cards they gave me. I went in to buy matching lamps and found one I really liked. The salesmen that I had this time was very sweet and did get me a cheaper deal then what was listed online. I ended up getting another nightstand (which I was told was $600.00 in the store and it listed for $219.00 on their website!!) as well and only spent $150.00 out of pocket on top of the two lamps I got. There was only one lamp in store so they had to order me another lamp along with the nightstand. Once I got the lamp home found out after we adjusted it up there was a big scratch that was hidden in the store and the top part to keep the lamp shad down was stripped and would not screw down. I called to see about getting another lamp ordered because the one I got was once again damaged. I had to call for two days to get a call back about the damaged lamp I purchased because know one would call me back. I finally got a call back to be told that because it was a floor model they will not replace it for me and if I wanted a new one they could order it for me at full price of $130.00 (and online they were listed for $71.00 not $130.00!!) I just can't believe after as much money as I spent at their store hoping for quality furniture I ended up with damaged items they will not replace. I hope this lamp was worth losing a customer over because I will NEVER GO BACK TO ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN!!!!!!

Seems like the days of buying furniture from an honest store in this area is a thing of the past. Wolf&'s, Ashley&'s, Unclaimed Freight and all these low budget entry level home furnishing store are the same. They use tricky marketing and shady pricing to get you in and sell you a dream which turns into a nightmare. They use phrases like &"In Stock&" to get you to buy now but in stock actually means it&'s going to take 6 to 8 weeks to get to you. They also say, &"everything in the store is for display and your order will be custom.&" Which means if you don&'t like it, you have to pay a 50% re-stocking fee because no one will ever want to buy something that you custom ordered.
We had an extremely helpful associate, Justin T. He told us everything up-front and honest. It was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be going back to him.

Went in the York store on Route 30 to look for a living room set. Jim Craumer was the salesman that helped us and he was great. Did not pressure us but was around when we had questions. We ending up purchasing a sectional sofa and a coffee table and 2 end tables. Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Order a sectional and only the couch came. Was told the chaise would be delivered by the 10th and someone would call us to give us a delivery estimated time. Still no call, still can't get ahold of anyone from customer service after being on hold for an hour. And when I called the store they said our chaise would be here possibly on the 30th. It took a week for us to get the couch but now 3 weeks to get our chaise because nobody could match up the pieces before loading it on a truck?! Pathetic. At this point I'd rather just get my money back and shop with a company that actually delivers what you order and has customer service that actually answers their phone when you have questions or concerns.

Very poor. Sales people laughing and yelling at other sales people across the store. NONE of the furniture listed on the web site was available in store to check out. Only high priced stuff. None of the set ups were priced out per piece. Very disappointing. One star for the air conditioning.
Ordered a princess bed for my daughter. Was told it would delivered in 4-6 weeks. Ended up coming 8 weeks later and only after i called and complained. When it showed up it was damaged and very dirty. Took photos and contacted customer service and was called back a whole week later. I asked for a refund and they told me to that just wouldnt be possible. After complaining the customer service rep told me to "grow up". Please do your self a favor a go to Value City. The prices were great and the products were delievered in 3 days, as well as great customer service.
Always compare prices on the website to in store prices to make sure you’re getting the best price. The sales guys are nice, but they are kind of used car type sales people.

DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY OR ITEMS FROM THIS STORE Purchase a couch and love seat along with the warranty about a year ago, I’ll first start off by saying the sales people are very pushy. They will follow you around the store and not leave you alone. Second when I finally found this couch they had told me I have up until my 4 years to get anything fixed on my couch. So I purchased it and filed a claim with their warranty department a year later for my first time. what they didn’t tell you is that is if the couch looks used, they will not cover the accident or stain. So I had a couch stain and a few other minor things wrong with it and they said well the couch looks dirty and used so we denied the claim. And there were to many things wrong with the couch so they wouldn’t cover it any of it because you filed to many items in the claim at once.... what the heck is the point of having a warranty if you won’t fix what’s broken. Don’t waste your time money here, the customer service is horrible and they are just out to get your money.

I have used Ashley furniture for a few years for the majority of my furniture. I have had great experiences for the most part. Last time I went however the lady would not leave me alone and followed me the entire time. I told her as soon as I walked in I was not buying, just browsing that day since my husband wasn't with me. I was specifically looking at dining tables and if I saw something I liked I would come back with my husband. I was really getting annoyed and just walked out. I ended up buying my dining table at wolf's furniture. I walked in and he told me his name and to let him know if I needed anything. I went to the back picked a table and motioned for him to come over and within 20 minutes we were checking out and waiting on delivery of our new table that I absolutely love!

Ashley furniture was well worth the drive from Lancaster. We were greeted by Cindy who was super helpful in answering all our questions and very patient while we looked over all the options. She also gave us the opportunity to try out the AMAZING adjustable bed base. You have to give it a try if you stop in. You will not believe what a difference the adjustable base makes. Tracy the manager who is also amazing showed us what a difference the zero gravity setting makes in comfort, breathing and your overall health. You will not believe the difference and they are definitely not just for older people! I have never found a pillow I have loved, there was always some issue until I found the Balanced Pillow’s there. Brought them home and have never been happier with a pillow before, and I am super picky! We enjoyed our evening of shopping there with our daughter and the sales people that went out of their way to make sure our experience was enjoyable! They have well surpassed my expectations and provide excellent customer service!

Will never shop here again. Had a horrible experience and they are just money hungry. I ordered a couch... waited 3 weeks for it to arrive just for them to tell me it wouldn&'t fit up the stairs. When I had originally gone shopping for the couch I made it very clear that the staircase was narrow but was reassured it would be fine. I went to order something new and they still charged me a delivery fee for a couch that I didn&'t originally want but was the only one really in my price range.

I went into Ashley furniture in York pa in early March. I knew what I wanted to purchase but had a few questions. Mercedes helped me and even honored online pricing. The experience was very pleasant, quick and easy to finish. Our furniture will be arriving by delivery in a few weeks.
Grant and Huggy have been huge helps to us. This is the fourth purchase in the past couple years and they have taken tremendous care of making sure everything went according to plan. Cannot recommend this store enough. And their warehouse staff in Harrisburg have been simply awesome when we go to pick up our furniture. It has just been a wonderful experience throughout!

Love love loveeee this store!! They have good quality furniture and awesome sales! We got a gorgeous sectional and the sales lady we had was fantastic. Her name i think was Carolyn. She was so much fun..so energetic and very knowledgeable. The only thing I'd say is that she was a little pushy with the selling aspect but hey..i get being in sales so cant really blame her. Overall tho we had a wonderful experience and I'll deff be shopping here again!!!

Looking for a specific dinette set sold by Ashley. They have to order if I want it. Was told I had to pay additional charge to pick up my self. They consider my picking up from Harrisburg location a convenience??? We live in York!!! Also price was higher than advertising on line. Was told each store is individually owned and they can set their own prices. Told sales person I will purchase elsewhere at a much lower price. Then they said they could price match. I said Thank you and good bye. Some Presidents day sale!!!!. All I can say is buyer beware. Shop your item for price and availability.

Cheap workmanship/parts combined with customer service in name only. Have a living-room set that's been fading/splitting after about one year. Then there's the desk and chair that set new levels of cheap material.One of the casters on the chair split apart. They are a design unique to Ashley that no other source carries. Ashley also could not obtain the caster that they used when they made the chair. we resorted to Amazon for a new chair that puts the Ashley chair to shame as far as quality. Now let's move to the desk. The desk has been in one location since we got it. While investigating a loose leg on it, we found that the mounting bracket literally was breaking into pieces.It was a cast piece using the cheapest alloy possible.Once again we went to Ashley to purchase replacement brackets. Once again customer was useless. In all, the quality and customer service was 0 for 3. Again, Amazon came through with replacement brackets that are stainless steel. We will never set foot in an Ashley showroom again.
We found just what we were looking for and a good value and Mercedes made it easy. Great customer service. Looking forward to getting our new living room furniture.

The woman that was helping us was so helpful and made it easy for us to decide. They also offered a great protection plan!! I always look for the deals then now I know no to go on the web sight for the same item and compare prices and then I see its cheaper on line where they will honor it as long as you bring it to there attention it's like 200.00 hundred dollars cheaper plus the sale people are very nice and polite

We absolutely dread going into places like Ashley Furniture where the sales people are always waiting to suck the life out of you with their sales pitches. She was great. She let us know that she was there for us and where would could find her if we had any questions, and left us to make our buying choices on our own. Ended up purchasing a mattress and a sofa and chair. Salespeople take note: no one likes to be bothered with cheesy lines while making expensive purchases. Thank you Mercedes for the easing the process for us and for entertaining our little one while who can be quite the talker.
