I’m 73 and have purchased a lot of furniture throughout the years and I went to Ashley Furniture in a Bluefield Va from Richlands Va and am very happy I did. The salesman on the floor was incredible. I told him I needed a couch that would not be shredded by my cats. He said “ I know exactly what you need “ and directed me to this beautiful leather sectional. He took out his car keys and started rubbing the sharp key across the material and there were no scratches made. What a great sales pitch. I bought that couch today. I went up to the sales desk and the rep behind the desk was personable and welcoming. This was such an easy decision. This is a great place to shop with great deals and an exceptional no pressure staff.

EXCELLENT customer service! The manager, Tristin, was phenomenal. Two other young men working in the store as well and all of them were great. No pushy sales tactics, just genuinely helpful. My husband and I bought exactly what we were looking for! I highly recommend!

Purchased a king-size mattress here. Although there were some issues with getting the product from the warehouse to the store, Lance went above & beyond to make things right. Would purchase here again.

The 5 stars are for Lance and the local store alone. The Roanoke Distribution center is absolutely horrible to deal with. They may or may not deliver your furniture and you may or may not be told why they failed to do so. Lance went above and beyond to help compensate for the unprofessional, incompetency that was shown towards us and others in regards to the delivery of the furniture. That is out of the local stores hands. The only reason I will ever consider buying again from Ashley Furniture is because of Lance. Something needs to be done about the distribution centers inability to deliver furniture, before this little store and others lose customers and sales due to circumstances that are not in their control. Lance will get our business again!

Lance at the Bluefield store goes above and beyond to help me get exactly what I want and personally delivers what I order if the warehouse gets delayed. He is AWESOME! Highly recommended!

Went in to pick up a couch. Very nice store, friendly sales staff.

Very unpleasant the manager got up in my face like he want to hit me l was going to call police on him Ashley store Bluefield Va. Took 892.38 from me and gave me back as a refund 700.00 and some dollars. 100,00 some dollars for a restock fee on a mattress that never came to the store. I waited for 6 weeks to come from Roanoke VA. Dam Shame

While the staff at our local store did go above and beyond, the product we purchased was even less than we could have imagined. Disappointed is an understatement. After purchasing the warranty along with the insurance, the Abinger 2 piece sectional sleeper sofa and chaise set was destroyed in less than 6 months in a smoke free, pet free home. 1.) The pullout bed frame in the sleeper sofa snapped in half while company from out of state was staying and dropped them into the floor under the couch itself!! Very dangerous and embarrassing 2.) The seam of the front panel on the arm rest has completely detached. 3.) The stitching in the fabric on the arm rest has pulled apart and is literally hanging in shreds. 4.) The broken bed mechanism prevents the cushions from sitting in the proper place so they sink down past the wooden frame making it uncomfortable and unusable. 5.) The fabric on the seat and back cushions have piled and created scratchy, unsightly fabric balls. 6.) No matter how many Velcro strips we add to the chaise cushion it WILL NOT stay in place. We filed a claim for the 1 year warranty and it took 3 MONTHS for the service technician to come. Just for them to explain that it’s unsalvageable and leave within 5 minutes saying someone would call within a few days. Almost two weeks later, there still has been no contact from the warehouse or the store. This was a huge first time purchase and I am hoping that this issue can be resolved soon. But as of right now, I am just a dad desperately wanting to spend time in my family room with my family.

Lance was very helpful and very knowledgeable in providing what I needed.

I ordered a set of 4 tables for the living room the first of September, I was told I would have them in 3 weeks. After many calls to the store I was informed that all tables were scheduled for delivery on October the 23rd they delivered 3 of the 4 tables. It has been a hassle trying to get these tables. I called today (a week later) about the 4th table, I was told it was miscommunication that they will call me when they get it. It could be a week, When at first I was told they had all 4 tables. I do not recommend this place if you want items on time and not given a run around.

Very helpful and friendly, however, they told us they would deliver the mattress the next day and didn’t. No one called to tell us they weren’t able to deliver it. We broke down the old bed and removed it in anticipation of getting the new one, which lead to a night of sleeping on the couch. Not very happy with this outcome.

Ashley Furniture in Bluefield, VA has wonderful employees. My girlfriend and I went in to look for a new mattress. The manager Shannon was quick to welcome us to the store and walked us through our options after listening to what we were looking for. She went above and beyond through the entire process and we cannot thank her enough for her help!

First of all I just have to say Shannon the general manager there is a literal ANGEL! She goes above and beyond every single time for my boyfriend and I. She is so sweet, and has a heart of gold. My boyfriend and I went in to buy a new mattress and she was so helpful. She knows her stuff, and will always be honest with you. We were treated very nicely in this store. Of course, these are high dollar items, so I wouldn't expect them to be rude. But the girl who waited on us went above and beyond just being nice and helped us so much. They have some nice things to choose from. UPDATE: I didn't get my furniture when I was supposed to, so I called the store. The girl there pretty much left it up to me to contact the people in Roanoke to try to find out what's going on with my delivery. We spent several thousand dollars in that store, and they can't even assist me with the delivery.

I was very pleased and impressed with the service and quality I received. The hardest part was deciding what I wanted. Both Kim and Shannon, as well as the delivery team definitely delivered 5 star service.

This is not the first time I have purchased furniture from Ashley and it won’t be the last. The showroom is set up beautifully and with that you can achieve ideas for your own home. The two delivery guys were very helpful in showing different ways to set up the beautiful queen sleigh bed and mattress I purchased on this round. It is absolutely beautiful! Kim was so helpful with my son and I and Shannon helped also to move things through smoothly. I ordered my sofa in March 2022 with expected delivery around end of April. It was delivered on April 27th. The delivery men were in and out very quickly and did an awesome job.

Very poor customer service! It took 5 months to get our pieces when we originally were told it would be 2. Then we had to postpone the delivery due to unforeseen circumstances and was told that we would have to pay $175 more to reschedule. We ended up Picking the pieces up ourselves and then they would not refund our delivery fee! I would not recommend giving them any business!

They tell you whatever for the purchase. Also, won't return customers calls once you made the purchase when there is a problem! Will not buy from Ashley's Furniture again!! She was not only professional but very kind. Kim also texted me with any changes. I will return to ashley because of her. Staff are friendly! I love the arrangement of the furnitures! My husband & I like a sofa & loveseat online, so I went to the store to see the actual piece & the price was much lower than the price online. The sales rep who assisted me, Kim told me the reason why the price went down & was just plain honest. No long story, not beating around the bush.

If you go to Ashley’s home furnishing store in Bluefield be sure to ask for Kimberly Morrison she is the best sales rep I have ever met not only did she take her time to get me a good deal on the furniture I bought which was 2 beds and three nightstands but she was kind and considerate these are qualities in short supply these days. The manager at the Ashley Home Store in Bluefield, VA is rude and very uncooperative. We've spent over $5000.00 there within a year. We go back to purchase an end table that matches the coffee table that we purchased there last January. The tables are sold & bought separately. They had one end table at the store that had damage on the side. We tried to make an offer to purchase that damaged table. The manager wouldn't talk with us that day or the next day. We ordered the table online. I will never buy from this store. The manager doesn't care if you come back or not. The sales person are very helpful at the store.

After buying a new house and not having furniture to fill it with, Shannon was great at helping us find everything we needed at a great price! If you need furniture, Ashley HomeStore has great quality items, great prices and even better service! Thank you Shannon!

My wife and I had an excellent experience. Our sales assistant, Kim, was amazing. She went above and beyond and was very patient with us.

The worst service we have ever experienced. Delivery October 25th. 5 out of the 6 legs on couch, love seat and chair were not attached correctly. We went to store October 27th in Bluefield VA & told store manager. He said he would have someone come out that evening or Monday 28th. NO show & NO call. We went back to the store Friday November 1st & he stated he would have someone Saturday or Sunday afternoon November 3rd. NO show, NO call. In addition, CHECK the Internet price before making your purchase in the store. It will be cheaper, but the store will match it.

Rudest Employee's On Earth & Over Priced Junk.

At delivery, the movers refused to deliver the furniture to the home because they couldn't get closer than 200 feet from the house due to the driveway not being 100% completed and didn't want to use the back porch (front porch wasn't complete at the time but the back porch was). They recommended I let them unload on a trailer I have and me deliver the furniture to my own house by myself. So I did. After the furniture was put in the home my wife and I noticed that we've been given the wrong mattress. We contacted the store and the problem was immediately dealt with, or so I thought. We paid for a black edition beautyrest mattress and was delivered a platinum edition. The mattress we bought was on sale and was also the last one they had so they told me that they would try to find another, but no such luck. So after nearly 30 calls that always ended up with "I'll call you back and give you an update this afternoon", (which happened once), and nearly 3 months later we now have a mattress that doesn't feel anything like the one we loved and bought 3 months ago at the store. I most definitely WOULD NOT recommend due to customer service after purchase!!

Beautiful furniture

The people there at the store what kind and courteous. We found exactly what we were looking for in the store. The reason why I gave it four stars was because takes way too long to get your furniture. Over three weeks is too long. We live in a so-called remote area and our Ashley store has no warehouse close by. The closest warehouse it’s an hour and a half to two hours away.

I received THE best customer care yesterday at this location! I had been moved by a professional moving company that had lost some of the essential parts to our end tables. I went in the store to order these parts and not only did the very helpful and very kind young ladies at the desk immediately find the exact missing parts, they took our address and offered to send them to us, free of charge. Now, that's the best customer service I've received in years! Bravo, Ashley HomeStore in Bluefield, Virginia! I will certainly be coming back to buy from you all in the future.

I was visiting family in Princeton and we decided to take a look at Ashley for a particular chest they were interested in for their bedroom. Since I have purchased from Ashley in Roanoke with great success, I suggested they check out their local Ashley in Bluefield. Bluefield did not have the particular model we were interested in on the floor but the sales person took great notes on what we were looking for and searched in their inventory database. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable not only for the items on the floor but also additional items in their inventory. We left very satisfied and will be returning to purchase in the future.

The sofa couch cushions stretched and shows all imperfections...they refused to exchange for another more expensive couch...now I'm stuck with this poorly made couch....manager did nothing!!!

They price up to what they think they can get. I priced a bed and the salesman quoted me what i could get it for online plus a few dollars. I was ready to buy when manager came through and doubled the price. I bought online and wont go back.

Waited over two weeks and then come to find out you have assemble your own furniture. If you dont take it they charge a restock fee. Just go to s real furniture store like Grands or Schewels. Or order fro. Walmart and get your merchandise in two days instead of 3 weeks.

Exelent service very hospitable staff

After buying a twin mattress here they did not want to help put mattress in car, they were very rude and they didnt even let us know when the mattress was in. And the mattress was in a small box and took weeks before the mattress became flat to lay on comfortable. Were buying our new mattresses at rural king or at the Galax, VA factory store now.

The folks at the store were super nice the overall Ashley Home Store policies are a little ridiculous. A 17 day wait for a dresser delivery which was damaged upon delivery and then to add insult to injury I still had to pay a restocking fee for cancelling the order since I couldn't wait another week for a dresser in good condition to be delivered. Yes! I was charged a restock fee for a damaged item. Again, my issue is not with the folks at the store but with Ashley Homestore's delivery and return policies.

Update: Received the last of our items. 2 months after ordering. No follow-up no nothing. Will not be back. Ordered my items 2 months ago and I still do not have everything. Excuse after excuse. Staff is very nice and friendly, I suppose it's because they already have my money. Would be nice to complete my order! The delivery time was 2 weeks not 2 months and waiting.

Ashley Furniture is a terrible company. The sale process ironically goes well. The warehouse and delivery people is where it goes bad. I’ve seen how they store furniture in the warehouse in Nitro, WV - a mess. No wonder 50% of each delivery and replacement delivery is damaged. Their tent sale for clearance items had sofas sitting in water from rain. We had gift cards from them putting holes in our stairwell wall from delivery workers. It took us a year to get all the furniture we ordered. Then part of our office set broke with normal usage and had to get it returned because they couldn’t replace it. Today we tried to use our gift card from our wall damage on accessories because I won’t buy anything else that needs a delivery. This location refused our gift card because it was issued from the Ashley Furniture in Charleston, WV and wer’e here visiting for the holiday. Do not shop here. Poor quality furniture and even worse customer service.
