Wonderful furniture sets for the price and great staff to work with. Only issues is how long it takes to get your order. I waited about a full month and a half to get my sectional when I was told it would be ready in 2 weeks, which is why I am leaving a 4 instead of a 5. After looking at several other stores for a mattress and living room suit, my mother and I ended up at Ashley Furniture in Bristol, Va.. We were greeted by the friendliest man Steven Wee who ask how he could help us find anything in the store. He guided us back to the section of the store with mattresses and suggested my mom get on their new machine to help suggest the type of mattress she needed. That was very helpful and confirmed what type of mattress she needed to focus on. Steven pointed out a few mattresses and left us to lay on each of them to make sure we were confident in our selection. He also went out of his way to call all the other local Ashley stores in regards to a specific mattress to check availability. Steven was not only extremely helpful but very knowledgeable about each brand and what they had to offer and what was important qualities from each. Steven also made the entire experience wonderful because he kept the conversation so light and easy and had an awesome sense of humor. We never felt the awkward pressure you sometimes get from other salesmen. Honestly, we loved the mattress but we had already been other places to try out the exact same ones, Steven was the whole reason we decided to make our purchases at Ashley. Highly recommend this store and highly recommend asking for Steven Wee to assist you!

We wanted this particular piece of furniture, but we did not want to wait forever. He has helped us locate the sectional and get a better lead time versus the other method I original sought out myself. I have called multiple times in order to cancel my furniture order because I was told it would be delivered within a couple of weeks and it's been over a month now. I've received no communication about my order since the day it was placed. Every time I call, I'm either told that I will get called back or no one answers the phone.

Great experience going there, Scott was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a lot of space to browse around, and he was always available when I had questions. Never got rushed even though I had went in about 3 times that week before making the final decision! When the time came to place the order thing we’re really smooth and quick. Thank you!

Had been looking at something's online, and we decided to go into the store to order it. Steven welcomed our family, and got everything ordered for us. Couldn't have asked for a more kind or helpful team member to make this process so smooth. I've been to the Johnson City location multiple times before for previous purchases, but will now make the drive to Bristol as he was so organized and helpful.

I have waited over 3 months on a couch. After giving this store $3000, no one has been in contact. I have not received one single phone call.. I have to call the store for them to push me off another month. Every time I receive a delivery date no one ever shows. I’m praying I receive this couch at least before Thanksgiving. As soon as I receive my couch, I will take down this review. I truly believe that the manager Scott needs to be more attentive to his clients.

Called and asked about a specific mattress, was told they had it in stock. Drove an hour to be told they do not have it, and tried to sell me a different mattress for way more. If you’re going to have salespeople answer the phone and speak to potential customers, at least have them know about your own products :)

Nice staff, but do not recommend buying pillows here. They won’t honor the manufacturer return policy and if you don’t like it, you’ll be stuck with an expensive pillow when the mattress companies themselves will exchange or allow a return. Pretty disappointed…. Should’ve just bought from the mattress company directly then.

Had not planned on checking this store for lounge chairs, but another store was closed. I was pleasantly surprised at the attention (not over-bearing) that we received. Found a chair and sofa that we love. Our lazy boys were 18 years old so it was time. Manager, Scott, stayed in contact during the delivery as well and took good care of us.

Sales associate was was great to work with. He greeted us as we arrived. Ask what we were interested in looking for and escorted us to the living room furniture. He told us to take our time looking around and welcomed us to make sure that anything we were interested in was comfortable. He left us to browse around and try out sofas and recliners. He came back when he saw sit and talk without immediately moving on to something else. He talked with us about the sofa and told us that he would check back with us after we looked at more items. After further browsing and going back to the sofa we liked he came back and we talked further about the sofa. I appreciate him allowing us time to look around without hovering over us.

I came to the Bristol store because I had a problem with an online order. I was immediately greeted by the salesman, Scott Linginfelter. He addressed the problem and actually placed the order for me at that time. I have a delivery date set up for my purchase and it only took a few minutes for the whole transaction. Scott was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. There was also a gentleman in charge of the financing part who was also very nice. The Bristol store is set up beautifully and the staff are super nice. I will definitely be doing business with them again in the future.

My husband and I visited your store in Bristol Va. last Thursday. We walked in just to see what your store carried and after meeting and talking with your associate Rylee, we had decided to buy a sectional. She was very helpful in answering our questions and letting us know the best priced available on the suit we were looking at. We were not able to use the furniture in the room we wanted it for due to size, but I did text her back to let her l ow that because of her knowledge a d customer service she would have had our business. I was told they would hold a recliner for me till the next day till the manager came in because it has a spot on it and I was seeing if I could get a little knocked off for it before I bought it But when I called the next day when the manager Curtis was there he told me that they had already sold it . Rilye said she already texted him that day I was there and told him everything but he said he didn’t know anything.about it . So I wouldn’t recommend the Ashley store at exit 7 at all . They lie and this wasn’t the first time being lied to at this store . So I went to the outlet. Store in grey and got great service right off the bat and bought one there . They need to retrain everyone in the store and tell them not to lie to customers.

Loved our experience today working with Rylee she was a big help and we can't wait to get our new bedroom set in.

Rylee was extremely helpful in helping me choose the appropriate furniture for my apartment. I had just recently moved from northern Wisconsin to northeastern Tennessee and downsized from a four bedroom house to a two bedroom town home style apartment. Needless to say, creating the appropriate decor is not my specialty; however, Rylee was more than willing to assist me pick out something that was definitely to my liking and preference. In addition, her patience was more than acceptable. This buying experience was easy and enjoyable.

My salesperson at the Ashley Home Store located in Bristol, VA was Rylee. This lady is unlike most salespeople. Instead of pushing items on me, she LISTENED to all my concerns, wants and needs. She did not rush me through like a herd of cattle. I am so happy with the bed and mattress that I purchased. It is so beautiful. I now sleep so well on the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever had. I will definitely go back to the Ashley Home Store for additional furniture. I would recommend the entire staff for assistance. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. However, Rylee went over and beyond to assist me. I’m not an easy customer. Any future purchases will be made through her.

We purchased a dining room table, Fallon was amazing and very helpful. Originally it was not expected in the warehouse until December which we were okay with. But she gave weekly updates that she promised to do just to let us know that everything was on track or if there were any changes. Well about 2.5 weeks after we ordered she checked up on their systems and saw that one was being delivered to the warehouse sooner than expected so she quickly got our name onto it and let me know. 2 days later I receive a call that it was ready to get delivery scheduled and well they arrived for delivery roughly 30 minutes before the delivery window that they had given me.

Steve was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with a purchase of a new mattress. He explained the diagnostic test and the results well and didn’t mind pulling out several mattresses for me to try. He explained the mattress warranty well and did a thorough job overall.

Looking in the Bristol Tennessee/Virginia area for a specific piece of furniture. Based on advertising, location and reputation we went to Ashley Furniture in Bristol Va. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Fallon McGalliard. Ms McGalliard was friendly, knowledgeable, showed us several items that were of interest to us. Best of all, no high-pressure sales tactic. Bottom line, I highly recommend Ashley Furniture in Bristol Va. Ask for Fallon!

Went in just browsing. Not looking for anything specific, but Fallon approached me and made me feel very comfortable. She was friendly and genuine. I told her about some things I was thinking about for my house, and she gave me some great suggestions to think about, but didn’t come off pushy or persistent, which was nice. Disappointed. Rylee told me that furniture was available in warehouse and that delivery would be contacting me to set up time for this Friday (4 days from purchase) or the last Friday of the month. I find out from delivery that many items were on back order and some not available until September! I called, spoke with William who was going to have Sales manager call me back about the experience and my possible cancellation of the purchase. No call! Very disappointed in the customer service.
