Steven was pleasant to deal with. I think the prices are for the most part too high, but we did find a reasonable price on a sofa and chair set. Delivery was as scheduled with no incidents.

Had not planned on checking this store for lounge chairs, but another store was closed. I was pleasantly surprised at the attention (not over-bearing) that we received. Found a chair and sofa that we love. Our lazy boys were 18 years old so it was time. Manager, Scott, stayed in contact during the delivery as well and took good care of us.

I was given immediate and helpful serve by the store manager, Scott in the Bristol store.I was searching for wide low bookcase and found a credenza, and although one was not in the store he found one in the warehouse which will be delivered in about 2 weeks. The transaction all over the phone, was easy, and delivery and set up arranged. Scott was very courteous and helpful.

Steven was great. We came in to look at couches and didn’t see the one we found online that we wanted to try. Steven was readily available when I needed to ask questions but I appreciated that he gave us our space to discuss. He also helped give suggestions based on what we liked, gave us price comparisons and went over all the financing options. We decided we really wanted to try out the couch first and we went to another store to try it and then immediately came back to order from Steven at Ashley because of the ease and comfortable experience even though we could have purchased the couch cheaper elsewhere. Good customer service is just as important as the product you’re buying especially when it’s a pretty hefty purchase.

Sales associate was was great to work with. He greeted us as we arrived. Ask what we were interested in looking for and escorted us to the living room furniture. He told us to take our time looking around and welcomed us to make sure that anything we were interested in was comfortable. He left us to browse around and try out sofas and recliners. He came back when he saw sit and talk without immediately moving on to something else. He talked with us about the sofa and told us that he would check back with us after we looked at more items. After further browsing and going back to the sofa we liked he came back and we talked further about the sofa. I appreciate him allowing us time to look around without hovering over us.

I came to the Bristol store because I had a problem with an online order. I was immediately greeted by the salesman, Scott Linginfelter. He addressed the problem and actually placed the order for me at that time. I have a delivery date set up for my purchase and it only took a few minutes for the whole transaction. Scott was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. There was also a gentleman in charge of the financing part who was also very nice. The Bristol store is set up beautifully and the staff are super nice. I will definitely be doing business with them again in the future.

Horrible people horrible company who doesn't stand behind their products and doesn't give you the full product on purchase multiple damaged and missing pieces upon delivery and they won't even fix the issue go to Grand home furnishings and leave Ashley in the dust this place is seriously the worse company I've ever done business with in my life and we buy thousands in furniture as we have multiple estates

Me and hubby stayed for awhile deciding between 2 different sets. Even taking a quick break and coming back. :) I finally picked the one I wanted (Alesandra couch and chair 1/2 and ottoman)and couldn't be happier. Super comfy and a great deal! I was told they would hold a recliner for me till the next day till the manager came in because it has a spot on it and I was seeing if I could get a little knocked off for it before I bought it But when I called the next day when the manager Curtis was there he told me that they had already sold it . Rilye said she already texted him that day I was there and told him everything but he said he didn’t know anything.about it . So I wouldn’t recommend the Ashley store at exit 7 at all . They lie and this wasn’t the first time being lied to at this store . So I went to the outlet. Store in grey and got great service right off the bat and bought one there . They need to retrain everyone in the store and tell them not to lie to customers.

Rylee was extremely helpful in helping me choose the appropriate furniture for my apartment. I had just recently moved from northern Wisconsin to northeastern Tennessee and downsized from a four bedroom house to a two bedroom town home style apartment. Needless to say, creating the appropriate decor is not my specialty; however, Rylee was more than willing to assist me pick out something that was definitely to my liking and preference. In addition, her patience was more than acceptable. This buying experience was easy and enjoyable.
My salesperson at the Ashley Home Store located in Bristol, VA was Rylee. This lady is unlike most salespeople. Instead of pushing items on me, she LISTENED to all my concerns, wants and needs. She did not rush me through like a herd of cattle. I am so happy with the bed and mattress that I purchased. It is so beautiful. I now sleep so well on the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever had. I will definitely go back to the Ashley Home Store for additional furniture. I would recommend the entire staff for assistance. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. However, Rylee went over and beyond to assist me. I’m not an easy customer. Any future purchases will be made through her.
We purchased a dining room table, Fallon was amazing and very helpful. Originally it was not expected in the warehouse until December which we were okay with. But she gave weekly updates that she promised to do just to let us know that everything was on track or if there were any changes. Well about 2.5 weeks after we ordered she checked up on their systems and saw that one was being delivered to the warehouse sooner than expected so she quickly got our name onto it and let me know. 2 days later I receive a call that it was ready to get delivery scheduled and well they arrived for delivery roughly 30 minutes before the delivery window that they had given me.
Steve was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with a purchase of a new mattress. He explained the diagnostic test and the results well and didn’t mind pulling out several mattresses for me to try. He explained the mattress warranty well and did a thorough job overall.

Disappointed. Rylee told me that furniture was available in warehouse and that delivery would be contacting me to set up time for this Friday (4 days from purchase) or the last Friday of the month. I find out from delivery that many items were on back order and some not available until September! I called, spoke with William who was going to have Sales manager call me back about the experience and my possible cancellation of the purchase. No call! Very disappointed in the customer service.

Rylee and Chrissy were awesome and worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted. They did not push us to settle for anything. However they do not tell you it's going to be 3 to 4 months later before you get your furniture. Ordered in Aprril said would be here May 7 and it's almost July and still nothing. So I would recommend going somewhere else. Not saying it's all the sales staffs fault just saying be cautious. You may have a long wait.

I thought I got a good purchase but now can't get it in. My daughter can't get her order either and was charged 325 on 1300 to cancel and could not get them to deliver what they had so far. Terrible service after the sell. They promise you stuff and then lie and want check on the deliver just say oh well the dates were just an eta. I never buy there again. Please don't buy from this store you may or may not get your stuff but they get your money.

I would NOT recommend buying any furniture from Ashley Furniture. My daughter bought a bed back in February and then about 2 weeks later, we went and picked out a living room set. They told my daughter her bed would be in my first of April and then my couch would be in not long after that. We called about the first of April and they said that both the bed and couch would be in the week of April 15th. I called a donation place to come get my couch so they could bring my couch in. Well.... week of the 15th comes and goes and I call to see when it would be in and they said the bed wouldn’t be in until first of May. First week of May rolls around and still nothing... called again and they said that the bed was at the warehouse but was waiting until the couch came in to call to schedule delivery. Asked when the couch would be in and they said LAST OF JUNE OR FIRST OF JULY.... Keep in mind we haven’t had any furniture since almost the middle of April... we’d been sitting in lawn chairs. I told them that I did not want the couch that I would get it somewhere else and the girl proceeded to tell me “if you don’t purchase the couch, I don’t get paid...” Well lady, if I don’t have any furniture and have to wait that long, why would I get it from you. They then said they couldn’t deliver it until the last of May.. needless to say, we went ourselves to get it. They charged us more for sales tax because we went to Tennessee to pick it up although I purchased it in Virginia... when I called them to cancel the other furniture, they said we were contacted... heck no we were not.. I called and asked. Rude, unprofessional, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.. I went somewhere else to get my couch and the delivered it the next week. Just go somewhere else to get your furniture.

Please I hope anyone that reads this takes this warning seriously. These people are not ashley and do not stand behind there products at all. I purchased furniture and it has been broken for more then a month and I can not even get a date to have someone come look at it. The store manager is great until you pay then if you have a problem you will spend days trying to find him then. The extended warranty company is the worst they just give excuses everytime they call. If anyone thinks it was just buying cheap furniture this set was more the 2500 on and broke at less then 4 months old. They also will not let you get to someone with any ability to help. I can not stress enough that the company that owns these stores is a ripoff artist and Ashley will not help either spent hours on the phone trying to get direct help and they just send you back to the store and tell them it is not there problem.

My husband and I went into the Ashley Store at the Bristol Va location this evening looking for a couch for our den. My first impression of the store was it was orderly, clean, and we were greeted immediately. William was the person who helped us out. He was very friendly and answered all of our questions. He was not pushy by no means which is nice when you're trying to make a decision. He took time to talk to my children instead of viewing them as a liability. Alot of people see children and automatically treat you differently. Also, while deciding what furniture we were going to order he took us to something similar and showed us the kind of material that the couch had since we were looking at it on the website not in person. Overall, it was a great experience. Hassle free and he was very truthful with his awsners. Due to the time we're living in and the unfortunate part of covid he did explain that it would be 6-8 week minimum wait time. Little did he know we had an experience with another furniture store where we ordered furniture months ago and when I recently called about our order the salesman told me it would be another few months because it was out of stock when he told us it was in stock when we made our initial purchase. He was simply trying to make a sale and wasn't truthful with us. We don't mind waiting but at least be truthful. So a huge thank you to William for being 100% transparent with us and for just having good character. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for furniture!

We are in the process of remodeling our house and needed a new chair for the living room and an island for our kitchen. We have previously purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture. So we stopped in the store near Sams. Courtney Campbell met us at the door and helped us find exactly what we needed. She was very helpful and walked us thru the financing and delivery information. We have been to two other Ashley Home Stores in our area and the showroom at the distribution center in Gray. This store had the nicest employees, no question. We will definitely return to this store to buy more furniture from Courtney!

Couldn’t ask for better customer service at the Bristol Va store. William Thorne took his time with us, didn’t rush us, explained everything thoroughly. We were buying a king mattress set, William did the mattress test for each of us, so we would know firmness, then explained each mattress specs, we ended up buying the Sealy Kelburn. Delivered quickly, the delivery guys were very nice and courteous. Would definitely recommend this Ashley location.

My husband and i weren't looking for an adjustable bed when we entered the store but wow are we glad we listened to our salesman Steven in trying one out. He was so informative that we clearly understood all the beds features. The bed itself is wonderful, but with the added soothing vibration it relaxes our backs and lets us sleep peacefully. Bought a bed frame this location when I finally received it the bed frame it was damaged. After calling and getting in touch with someone I was refered to Jessica who was supposed to help me get the bed frame fixed. I called multiple times she never answered. We got in touch with the JC location who said they would have Jessica call us to help us get our issue solved. To this day we have not received a call about getting our bed frame fixed and are forced to pay full price for a bed frame that came damaged.. if you're looking to buy from here I wouldn't recommend it.. Grands is a mile away and their customer service is much better! We will not buy from Ashleys again.

I visited Ashley HomeStore looking for dining room chairs. The salesperson, Tammy Miller was very polite but not pushy. She told us to look around and in the meantime she would bring up inventory on her big screen. It was a great experience. I found chairs. I bought 2 to see if they were going to match. They do and I plan to go back and either purchase 4 more or take the plunge and purchase the matching table that comes with the 4 chairs I need. If you go in I am quite sure you will be welcomed warmly and have a very good shopping experience.

They have so many beautiful things to choose from and their prices are really good! Plus the financing is a bonus!! I highly recommend this store - I don't think you'll meet nicer and more patient people to work with!

As a mother, I appreciate knowledge on furniture that will last all of the wear and tear (love) from my brood. Brittney W. Is a mother herself as well as a step mother and has a large family. She knew exactly what was needed! If you have spawn that enjoys jumping on the beds as much as mine does, or loves their cereal in their laps while watching Saturday morning cartoons on the sofas- definitely go and ask for Brittney!!

Store is well laid out and the prices are good. Living across the state line in TN and paying the lower VA taxes was a big bonus. Ask for Brittany Write as she is a great salessperson to work witj. Think she may be newer and didn't try and double talk us with all steel construction seven way hanf tied.... hey its furniture if it is comfortable and looks nice then problem solved. She got that was willing to help, made great suggestions and made this hassle a breeze.
Jonathon was the most helpful and kind emoloyee. He went out of our way to make sure that we we're finding what we wanted. He Also made sure we got the most bang for our buck. We will be shopping here from now on with Jonathon's help .

Wasnt greeted for almost 30 mins then was treated like an inconvenience
At first I thought this place was great . The woman lied about the couch cost even though I paid a lot down and repeatedly asked over and over does this include tax etc after I signed it was 400$ more the original price she had gave. I am on week 7 and still no couch . I have called and it will probably be another week. I asked if I could get my down payment back and I was told I would have to pay a restocking fee which Is pretty much the down payment I put on the couch. Which I can never understand why I would be charged a fee for something that isnt thier. I would have probably done more business here. But I will never buy another thing from Ashley. Only reason they are getting a 2 star rating is because of Steven wee .
First of all, Jon Anderson is wonderful! Have you ever gone furniture or car shopping and ended up with a product you didn't want just so you could escape the sales person. I have, and this is not Jon! He is helpful, responsive to questions, and makes recommendations based on 'listening' to what your needs are. He doesn't push or pressure. Secondly, the prices for the furniture quality are some of the best in town. My husband have been looking for a bedroom suit and a living room coffee/end table set for 2 years. We haven't found something we liked, nor was worth the price quality wise. We visited Ashley home store 3 weeks ago, and were very shocked by the prices and quality of the furniture. We ended up purchasing BOTH our bedroom suit and the living room furniture too. Ashley home store has a variety of purchase and finance options to fit any budget. Ashley is delivering, white glove, and worked with us on timing. We had plenty of time to sell our old furniture. We loved our experience so much, AND Jon, we went back the following Saturday and bought my daughter a bedroom suit too.
