My account got hacked like not my card my whole entire account. So the automatic payment didn’t go through, but I’d never got a call. They say I got a call, but I did not get a call so that will be the last time I shop at Ashley furniture. Not only does the late fee not add up because it’s a $40 late fee that now turned into $149 late fee! The numbers don’t reconcile at all & the most customer unfriendly people when I called to explain my situation. The one person hung up on me and the other person left me on hold until I finally finally hung up. I’ve already shredded the card and I will never shop and Ashley furniture ever

We bought a couch in February of 2023 for $1,400 and it’s been nothing but issues. We got the warranty and they made it sound like almost everything was covered. Since April we have had an open case with the warranty company because the seat cushions are falling apart at the seams. After looking at updated reviews online (it had 2-3 5 star reviews when we bought it) it now has several 1 star reviews. So obviously this is not an us issue but a fabric issue. Today they denied our case claiming that it falls under “pilling and fraying” and not “rips and tears”. Of course these fine print details were not told to us when we bought and we were also told this fabric was easy to clean and good for us since we had kids. Obviously now a lie told to our faces. The chaise has already been replaced once because the zipper on it broke. Also looked online to see if I could just buy the cushion cover ourselves and I would be looking at $400+ shipping for 4 cushion covers!!I have left voicemails for Ashley furniture customer service and the store itself. (I have not heard back yet) and the warranty company has been a lost cause I asked to talk to a higher up and was told that was not something he could do. Unless I hear back from Ashley furniture I’m not sure what to do. Being a one income household another $1000+ couch just isn’t an option. Will change my review if resolved.

I just moved to the Virginia area from Florida. I was in need of furniture. I searched several different stores and ended up deciding on Ashley’s furniture. I’m so glad I did. Great service from Rita, she was so friendly and calm “I have two wild children who were running a muck while shopping”. She walked thru the whole store with me and helped me pick out items. She made sure to check online if there were deals as well as the deal they had going on in the store. She saved us several hundred dollars by searching for deals. It was delivered by super nice delivery drivers who were fast. 10/10 I will be going there again for my future needs. We ordered a dining room set, bedroom set and a few other dressers, night stands and bar stools. And there is a warranty if something happens to new items, thanks Rita from the colonial heights store.

The Ashley Store had just the piece of furniture I was looking for at a lower price than I expected. I was greeted immediately upon entering by Rita who went above & beyond to find what I requested, processed my order in little time and before I could pull my truck to the front door, she and another associate were waiting to load it! An overall pleasant experience! Beautiful, clean & neat store with helpful, professional, friendly staff and competitive pricing for quality furniture. *Highly recommend.

Ashley store in Colonial Heights has an unlimited supply of furniture. It has a huge showroom with two floors. It is an older Only Store. It takes about 7 to 10 days to get your merchandise. They have beautiful furniture of all kinds. They also have good sales. The store is very clean and the associates are very helpful. I highly recommend Ashley store.

Was very excited I found some furniture quickly after my move. I wanted it as fast as possible but knew waiting for delivery was a good choice as I had no help to bring it home. I have been waiting 3 weeks now unable to unpack because I have no furniture. Called customer service and they say it will be 3 MORE weeks to get my dresser in. I literally do not understand why they are selling furniture they do not actually have. Unrealiable honestly shady business. Try somewhere else first lest you also spend 2 months without clothes. UPDATE MAR ‘24: I am disappointed with the delivery aspect of this store. I was given a delivery date/time window which was sent to me by email and text. That day came and nothing. I tried to call central customer service, which is impossible to get a hold of. When I finally got someone, the rep told me that my delivery was not on the route that day. I was angry because i rearranged my day for this. The rep couldn’t give me a new delivery date. I called the CH store directly and no one was answering the phones/machine said the story was closed. On a random weekday? So I had to go to the store to understand what was happening. At the CH store, I spoke with someone name Kayla. She was very nice, but asked i call back in a few days because my mattress was still on backorder. How is a product that was already confirmed to be delivered still on backorder??? I called back Kayla a few days later and she gave me a new date for the following week (which is now about 2 weeks later from the original date i got). Honestly had no trust that this new date was solid but whatever. It ended up being delivered on the date she gave me. Nice people in this store, but the logistics are awful. If you need something quickly or need to stay home from work to wait for a delivery, I recommend double thinking Ashley. The purpose of our visit my family was looking for a mattress that we had seen a few weeks earlier. Belinda came to help us out and still broke everything down for us as if we had never seen the mattress. She was very patient with us. She made us feel like we made a right decision. Everyone was very nice who helped us in the process. If you plan on visiting, make sure your day is free because this team really takes their time to make sure all the details are in order. Luckily you get to sit back on the comfy sofas! Thank you Belinda and team for your great customer service.

UPDATE- she went up there and spoke to a DIFFERENT manager named Mr. Jordan who said her couch will be delivered 01/26. If this happens I will change my review! Thank you Mr. Jordan! My mother in law Angela bought a customized couch from here. She ordered it at the beginning of December. Paid in FULL December 10th. Not only did they deliver the WRONG couch they ripped the power lines down in front of the house and didn’t do anything about it. After they delivered the wrong couch they made a promise to have the correct one to her in her in TWO weeks. The manager made this promise himself via email. After two weeks passed she reached out twice via email with no response. NO response. It is now 01/23/24.. As someone who’s been in management positions with customer service her entire life this is unacceptable. My mother in law now has to take time off from work to go up there to get some type of communication since no one can respond to her via email or by phone. SHES GOING ON MONTH TWO WITH NO COUCH AND NO offered solution!!! No offered discounts!! NO COMMUNICATION?!?! This is unacceptable and I DONT recommend ordering anything from this company. It’s not hard to be patient or understanding with a company when they communicate. It’s not hard to have compassion for companies who are behind or struggling when they communicate but no communication and no solution is absolutely uncalled for.

I contacted the Ashely Store in Colonial Heights in reference to a bed. Not just any bed but a split California King for my parents. I currently live in Florida and my parents in Virginia. He was very knowledgeable and showed my Mom different options to see and actually try for herself. I pay for warranty on my paid in full recliner and coffee table set , I fell on hard times and let them know I no longer needed the warranty. They refuse to stop taking the 92 :33 a month .I don't owe them anything. They could care less .they took 95$ this month. I paid for my furniture in full .they will take this money's for 12 months over a thousand dollars for warranty. That I told them I can know longer afford. It's not like I owe them anything . What can I do .

Originally I gave this place 5 stars but events afterwards have caused me to edit my review. Firstly, the entire time we were there they kept telling us it was 0% financing for 72 months. We asked repeatedly is it really 0% and were told repeatedly yes. Come to find out it’s not and they will not honor it because there’s no proof we were told. Secondly upon delivery the workers rushed me to look at everything and the second they left the driveway I noticed they had left a ton of garbage and one of my nightstand drawers was left open I just assumed from being moved around but no it doesn’t close at all. Was told once they left it’s out of their hands. The furniture (that is actually functional) is beautiful but customer service is highly lacking.

We visited the Ashley store at Southpark Mall in Colonial Heights VA. Working with a young man by the name of Kenny, we tried several different bed styles before deciding on the perfect one for us. The service and price was as expected. Our problems began with the delivery and setup end of the transaction. Three weeks after the sale we received a series of texts letting us know when delivery would be made, the date was difficult for us because no one would be home at the time of delivery. Upon responding to the texts and requesting the next day we were advised they would have to set up again and would be another week or so. No further correspondence was made and the delivery truck arrived on the original date and 30 minutes early. Luckily my 18 year old daughter was home to answer the door. The delivery guys were rude and would not wait until my wife could get home in 10 minutes or so... The delivery guys proceeded to put this box spring and 150 pound ROLLED UP mattress in my foyer and left before my wife could arrive. No set up offered, just put it down and left. We just left Ashley, the people at the store would only give us a phone number to customer care for us to call. My wife was on the phone for 30 minutes or so and the final result is that one man will come to our house to do setup tomorrow. Please remember the mattress although still in the roll is at least 150 pounds. Can't wait for the person to ask for my help lifting and taking up stairs for setup. Update as complete.

Now, most of the time, furniture sales representatives can be pushy and hover over customers until they walk out or are pressured into the sale. Kristina did nothing of the sort. She allowed us the ability to shop freely, listening to our feedback and observations, while providing expertise and valuable recommendations. On top of that, the new store's location is definitely more open and bright. By the end of our time in the store, our little one went from "I'm wanna leave," to "Do we have to go? Wonderful furniture store! Overall great prices for quality products made in America! They price match to Ashley's online prices for the same item. The staff greets potential customers at the door. They get you started and then leave you alone to search the store. However, the sales person checks back regularly and is ready when you have made your decision. There's NO PRESSURE. My order may be delayed but I will be excited when it is delivered. Nov. 2023
