There is no option for zero star otherwise we give them that. We tried canceling our order, drove to the store two times, every-time they gave us an excuse. One time they said the manager is not there, next time the regional manager not here. Never buy from Ashley or this location.
Worst customer service ever received. Should always treat customers well even if they plan to buy something cheap. One representative literally told on my face if you are planning to buy under some $ , she has other customer asking help and they are spending more $$ and she insisted to buy online👎👎

This review is on behalf of Elsa Ramos purchase. We bought a a bed , night stand , dresser on labors day and we still have not had a single update or follow up on the delivery. We had to call their office twice and first we were told the delivery would be on the last week of sept or first week of October. I called the first week of October for an update and now the said November. I’ve never witnessed any experience like this before and I can’t imagine if I urgently needed to have a bed to sleep. I am disappointed and hope someone can demonstrate some basic customer service and care skills. Has I known I was going to wait this long I would of gone with a different furniture store.
Needed stoools for a kichen counter we had ìnstalled as part of a renovation. We didnt expect to find anything that would work. Turned out we left with 6 chairs and a table. They fit beautifully and will look great thanks to our sales person!
I ordered my furniture back in August and that transaction was smooth, easy, and my representative was great. The delivery portion on the other hand is not so good so far. We have one piece on backorder and come to find out that Ashley wants to wait until that piece arrives in October to deliver all of our furniture. I then call to have all available pieces delivered only to find out I paid for the furniture to be delivered to my door and not assembled.... now I have to return to Ashley to pay the additional amount for delivery and assembly. If I knew I had to assemble the furniture, I would have saved myself the time waiting for the backorder piece and bought everything on Wayfair. Considering I still have time to, I may return everything and order through Wayfair.

I will keep updating and adding to my review until Ashley Furniture picks up all items from my home. Date- 07-12-24: I have had the absolute worst experience with manager Shawn in the Fairfax Virginia store. My furniture delivered defective. They wouldn’t take them back. They made me pay $150 so I paid them the same day. Till today no one has called me to pick them up. The mattresses were taken out of boxes when they arrived. Both of them are sinking and there’s bulging on the sides. They won’t except them back saying they’re out of plastic. There was no plastic. They came in a rolled up box. Oh and the mattresses are 70 inches versus the standard twin mattress size of 75 inches. I have called the Fairfax Virginia store and the manager numerous times about the issues. He blocked me on his cell phone number. The store associates will make excuses and say he’s not available. They will not give me the district manager’s name and number. I get the Philippines every time I try their corporate line. The people in the Philippines will only escalate my call but no one calls me back. This is causing so much pain to my health at this point. I am going to write to Better Business Bureau about Ashley Furniture. I will make sure to write on every social media platform until all the furniture and the two mattresses are picked up from my home and my credit card is full refunded. Date 07-12 to 07-17: After MANY attempts to get someone out to pickup the defective furniture. Even though I paid them the $150 fee within hours after furniture was dropped off. Supposedly the furniture is scheduled to be picked up tomorrow (07-17) between 12-4. The other issue is the two mattresses. They are defective. They are also 70 inches versus the 75 inches for a standard twin size. They are sinking and bulging on the sides. I want them picked up immediately. Since, 07-12, I was told they will not pick up the mattresses until a technician comes out to evaluate. I paid warranty for the mattresses. Yesterday and today, Shawn the manager of the Fairfax store is supposedly “unavailable” Corporate is telling me today they will not send a technician out to evaluate the mattresses. At this point, I have contacted my lawyer. I’m having chest palpitations at this point dealing with this HORRIBLE and DISGUSTING company. If you want to make things right. You may call me.
Wow, they so quickly reply thank you for a 5 star but their two faces apparent that they don’t give a penny to your bad experience with them specially when it involves returning their merchandise. This location store manager will do anything or lie to avoid you or meet with you to solve the problem.And the Ashley store general manager will ghost you . Wow , this place don’t even deserve 1 star and if I was the CEO of this company I would immediately fire them both . And get involve in helping to solve an issue. So so sad this place is a zero star.

I am extremely disappointed with the Ashley Furniture Fairfax location. I ordered my furniture two months ago and followed up regularly, always being assured that my delivery would arrive on time. However, the day before the scheduled delivery, I called again and was informed that there had been a mistake and my order would not arrive as promised. The manager blamed the previous management for the error. After waiting another three days, my delivery arrived but with missing items. When I called the office, they told me I would have to wait another four days for the rest of my furniture. In total, it took over two months and three separate deliveries to receive everything. No one from the store ever called to apologize for their mistakes. Additionally, I had agreed to a six-month installment plan, but I later found out that no installment plan had been set up. If I had known this, I would have used my American Express instead of opening a new account. I would definitely not recommend purchasing anything from this store unless you have a lot of time and patience to follow up multiple times.
Crystal did an amazing job assisting us with finding the right furniture pieces for our new place. Discussed the prices and options with us thoroughly and overall had amazing customer service. Very very very pleased with our experience with her!

My sister and I came to your Fairfax store around Feb.17, 2024. Picked out furniture and was told it would be ready on the first week in March. Around the third week in March the furniture people brought the furniture to my house. They could not fit it thru the front door and stated if they took off the patio door they would charge $150.00. I said no. They took it back to the warehouse and said we needed to pick smaller furniture. We went back to the store that Saturday and they said their computers were down and they needed the warehouse to put in the computer that they restocked the furniture. It has been two weeks and the computers have not been up and when we went back they said the second choice that we picked was not Available and the warehouse still has not updated their system to show the items was returned. This is unacceptable and ridiculous. Now they are saying we could pick out another set of furniture. If I knew how much time and money I have wasted in coming to your company I would not have made Ashley my choice.
Purchased several furniture items from this location several years ago, had a great experience with my sales associate & check-out process. I made it back in today to buy new items that I needed, was greated by Deka my Sales Associate, she was great to work with, knowledgeable, friendly & professional. My husband and I had a great experience here due to Mema's customer service and assistance! She is one of the best salespeople we have encountered anywhere. She greeted us immediately and stayed close by as we shopped to answer any questions without being too "in our faces." We found a sectional we loved and got a good President's Day deal on it. We visited 4 other furniture stores afterwards just to shop around and no one compared to Mema and her great service or to the deal this store offered. We LOVE our new sectional and can't wait until it's delivered!
I am not one to write reviews but I HAD TO because of the TERRIBLE experience I had at this Ashley. This is by far the WORST Ashley furniture that I have been to. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The store manager there was beyond unprofessional and rude to my partner and I who were looking to purchase furniture at Ashley. Instead of understanding the core principles of adequate customer service, the store manager instead chose to be accusatory and disrespectful to us when discussing furniture pricing. We instead chose to purchase our items at a different Ashley with a much better experience. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. I'd pay the premium to stay clear of this Ashley any day of the week.
All the staff was very helpful and friendly, answered all my questions and the result was that I was able to purchase the recliner that online chat wasn't able to help me with.

Wow the sofa that I ordered was delivered so safely ,people were so cooperative helping and they set everything on my living room as per my designs.And let me take a minute to thank Miss deka Hussein the manager on the Ashley furniture. Omg she is just awesome human ,too helping she made my stress over furniture goes zero. I’m very disappointed in furniture stores these days. The model is simple, customer goes into a store, picks out their item of choice, pays for it, and the item that is selected and paid for gets delivered. Customer service is the focus here and a monetary transaction helps the company. Easy, right? Not in this case, customer goes into this particular store, picks out their item, pays for it, and the wrong item gets delivered. After a whole day of no follow-up, the company finally admits it’s their fault and makes the customer wait another three weeks to get the item that was originally selected and paid in full. However, then tells the customer, they don’t have to pay anything because it’s the company’s fault. Seems reasonable, right? No. Of course the customer should not have to pay anything, they already paid for what they wanted and didn’t receive it. The company (Ashley) should have offered more consideration for the customer who is now inconvenienced for the next three weeks without a couch. It’s hard enough for a young person to begin their adult life and be responsible enough to work hard for the things that they want. To now, not even able to come home from work, after a long day, and sit on the couch that won’t be there for another three weeks. Do better, Ashley Furniture. - Signed a disappointed Parent.
My wife and I just left Ashley's Furniture in Fairfax, Virginia and had an amazing experience! Hassan, our salesperson, was the best salesperson we could ever ask for. We will 1000% be back there to continue furnishing our new home!
My husband and i came to Ashley in Fairfax to eye shop and we left with a dining set and living room set only be a we had the best sales person Hasan! Came here on a random Tuesday to help a friend fully furnish their entire apartment. The service was impeccable - Hasan took great care of us - and we were able to get everything we needed for a very reasonable price.

I bought a couch , full bedroom set and other stuff from this place. One month later one of the seat cushions came apart and they were ok replacing it . 5 months later 2 pillows came apart and submitted a claim for it to be replaced or fixed , no one answers and called the store over 10 times since it has been over a month and they can’t do anything to help . Only given me a phone number that still have thanksgiving message on the recording till mid December.
The staff was friendly but not pushy. They had the item we were looking for in stock, and they were kind enough to match their online pricing for us. The transaction went quickly and smoothly.

We were yesterday at Ashley store and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time there because we weren’t sure which bedroom to choose, but the representative Deka was so helpful and helped us decide which bedrooms to purchase based on what we needed. Also she spoke with her manager to provide a discount since we bought a lot of stuff. Very satisfied, waiting for the furnitures to be delivered.

Never shopping with Ashley furniture again. I was told an item I seen in store early last month was available in a local warehouse and could be delivered by the weekend. After purchasing the item, I was then told shipping would be 4-6 weeks. Annoyed, I proceeded with order, and now it’s past 6 weeks and STILL no dresser. I’m being told it’ll be delivered to the warehouse, before they can even schedule a date to deliver the item to me. It’s been such an inconvenience. I’m regret shopping with them in the first place.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A BIG HEADACHE from Scam sales process with horrible service. I purchased close to 10k of furniture from this location, after receiving my bed and mattress I tried the mattress protector to see if it's good fit but it wasn't what looks like so I wanted to return it with the lamp that we got from here but front desk lady and the sales man totally changed their attitude and become mean and start lying about the price and cost policy that you can't return anything.

After visiting Bob's, other Ashley branches, and online shopping (Coleman's), I stopped here on the way back from work to see if they had any great deals, in which they did! The staff was very nice, and allowed us to take our time and even gave us a great deal beating any other retailer for the couch we found online. Highly recommend checking this place out.

I just bought a condo and in need to furnish it. I have used Ashley previously with a positive experience. I decided to try Ashley again and I was not disappointed! On request, we headed into Ashley Fairfax and was immediately greeted by Tony, one of the store managers. Tony was able to answer a number of questions to include the availability of a dining room set. We have guests coming soon and wanted to have this set in place prior. In short order Tony was able to set up credit with no interest and delivery for this week.Very impressed with how easy and smooth this was. Would recommend Tony and his staff at Ashley Fairfax.

The worst experience ever! I found these flaws the same day after delivery and bring it up with email. They said the service department will come to check. The technician came a week later saying they can only repair, rather than replace. The store said once I signed the yellow paper at delivery they don’t responsible for it. I am now not eligible for replacement or either return since it past their “72 hour” return policy, even though I brought up this issue to them on the same day of delivery and spent a week waiting for their technician! Anybody knows anywhere else has such level after-sales customer service? Do not ever go into this store, that’s where the nightmare starts!

Stay as far away from this store as you can. They have horrible quality furniture. The pictures are from just ONE of the insides of the couch cushions. All of them are like this and my set isn’t even 4 years old. And, the extended warranty they pushed — doesn’t cover this or. Horrible, horrible furniture. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for quality furniture — even if you have small kids like me — which is why I went the “cheaper” route. In the long run, it’s not worth it.

I came in the store looking for a new sectional for my home. I was greeted once I walked in and proceeded to avoid eye contact with sales staff and test out the sofas. Shortly after, one of the sales associates (Michael) also greeted me and made sure I knew the layout of the store. He encouraged me to take notes, take pictures of what I like, and get comfortable trying out the sofas. Michael was personable and invested in ensuring I chose something I was sure to love. He was not pushy about getting a sale. After some conversations over a few days, I made the choice that felt right for me and Michael supported me in making that purchase. Highly recommend visiting this store for the top notch quality service that was provided.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I wish I read their reviews before purchasing from them. Please AVOID this store location. The have very poor customer service and they are scammers. The tell you that the furniture will come in just 2 weeks when you first buy. But they take about 4 months. There products are damaged and broken as well and they wouldn’t do anything about it. That was how it first came and when I contacted them they told me to contact my protection plan instead. Be aware of this location. Worst store EVER!!

Hasan and the ladies at Ashley Fairfax were so great to work with! Hasan was patient and helpful as I took a few days to decide which pieces would be perfect for my home. He helped to measure the dimensions of multiple pieces and mapped out how they would fit in my space, he provided solid advice in general and just made sure I was completely taken care of. We went back the next day to actually purchase the items we saw on Sunday night. The process was smooth and the price was really good. We priced a new bed with frame at other establishments and Ashley offered a better deal for more furniture with warranties and delivery that out did the rest of the stores. Really happy.

Ashley Furniture is trying to cheat customers. I bought a very nice loveseat, then went online to look at the armchair that the salesperson said matched. The loveseat I had just purchased was priced $300 less online. As an experiment I tried to put the same loveseat in my cart to see if there were any hidden fees. Ashley's website would not let me put it in my cart unless I typed in my zip code. As soon as I did, the price jumped back up. Ashley is targeting more affluent areas unfairly even if the goods are exactly the same. I won't be shopping at Ashley in the future and suggest you don't either.

In Dec We spent 4 hours picking and finalizing furniture including sofa, coffee table, dining, accent chairs. Sales rep promised that sofa will be delivered in one week and rest of the furniture will come on Jan 13. When we called on 5th Jan we were told that nothing was scheduled to be delivered. It was rescheduled and we were told that everything will be delivered together. On 20th jan the delivery came with only the sofa and coffee table. Upon following up we were told that the delivery will be in April, that too if we get lucky. Or we can take the money back. By the way to take the money back we have to go in person again. What a waste of time and money. Please do yourself favor and don’t buy from Ashley. There supply chain and internal system is messed up.

The store has a lot of good options available to choose from for a reasonable price. Got my couch before Christmas very unexpectedly!
I am not one to complain, I've worked multiple customer service jobs and I get it, shxtt happens. I'm writing this review to warm others about the unprofessionalism of this store. I made a purchase with Deka on October and was told to expect 4 week delay- I understood this and waited. I've been calling every week since for updates only to get the same response: we not sure when it will come. I asked if there is anyone I can speak to regarding this matter and their response was simply "nope." I'm very frustrated because there are so many other furniture stores, specially in the area, and I chose this one. For future buyers, save your self time and frustration and go elsewhere.

Absolutely predatory sales tactics and customer service is non existent. Shop anywhere else! After receiving incomplete furniture I had to call back no less than 6 times each time being told I would receive a call back. I received no call backs. Finally had got a new delivery and it was the exact same piece of incomplete furniture. More of the same, no call backs. The kicker this time is they left the incomplete bed frame in my room meaning there is no room for my existing bed. It’s been a joy sleeping on the couch for over a month waiting on them to get it right. Was told I would receive a refund and after I drove 35 minutes they said “oh we didn’t say that”. Do you really think I would burn over an hour of my day in Virginia traffic without being told that on the phone? Sheeesh. Just more being lied to and given the run around by customer service.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I made the mistake of purchasing our sofas from here a few years ago and not only was one of them never repaired, but they somehow lost the documentation for the in store credit that I received covering the damaged sofa. Regardless, when trying to order a replacement part I was met with the most incompetent customer service representative I've ever encountered. This woman called me 7 different times over the course of 1 day and even after settling everything in person, because she clearly couldn't do anything over the phone, she STILL managed to mess up the shipping address on the contract which took 2 other people to NOT resolve. Do NOT shop at this location lest you have to deal with their customer service reps. They'll put you on hold, hang up on you, and then act like they have no idea how to do their jobs. It's absolutely ridiculous how any of these people were hired.
BUYER BEWARE! Bought a bedroom set and it took 6 months to deliver. Delivery company brought me multiple damaged items causing me to miss multiple days of work. The delivery company also damaged my walls in my home and never fixed the damaged they caused. Customer service is terrible and no one ever knows what’s going on. This was the WORST buying experience I’ve ever gone through! I will NEVER buy from this company again and I have an account with them! This company will lie and tell you whatever you want to hear just to get a sale and then deliver you poor quality furniture at a high price, my advice save your $ and go somewhere where they value their customers.

This is the worst store I ever been to. We did get a nice piece of furniture however we had to jump through hops to get a refund for one item. I had to travel to this store on three separate occasions. Any other store will do a refund over the phone. Not this one. Each time it is a different excuse. I do not recommend patronizing this location. Visit another one.

I have bought a lot of my furniture from Ashley, mostly because of affordability and convenience since there are many stores. Yes there is a wait time but that’s with every store nowadays. But this time they had to deliver a couch that was delayed twice and then they damaged it while delivering it. When I called to inform them about it, they sent a technician to do ‘touch ups’. He said the entire back needs to be replaced. So I requested Ashley to send me a new one instead of replacing that part, since it was purchased brand new at full price. Not only did they refuse to do so by sending me an email, not even bothering to call me back, they didn’t seem least bit bothered that they damaged a new item on delivery! I am never going to shop at Ashley again. It’s not right to treat loyal customers in this dismissive manner. Horrible business practice and ethics!
Worse customer service everywhere, worse return policy ever. I have backache and I bought a matters last month from this store. At the time of the purchase, they told me that they have 30 days return policy for the mattress and they haven’t say a single words about the fees, and now I have to pay a fee to return the mattress. I've been going through a back and forth with Ashley Furniture in Fairfax for 4 months this has to be the worst customer service ever from the service department and/or delivery. Bought the couch it's been serviced twice and Ashley refuses to replace either recliner as they say the frame was broken by force. Well yes obviously it was delivered broken by force. At this point my only option is small claims court but I've been a customer for years so going through this is extremely disappointing.

I met Hasan, who showed me around the store, upstairs and down. I actually bought one of the first sofas that I sat in. Loved the color and the comfort. I also purchased a kitchen table with stools. I really looked out that day at Ashley Furniture. Hasan was very pleasant and helped me throughout my whole visit. I do like the way the furniture is layed out in the store. This place is chaos. They forgot to register my couch for the Protection plan so when I went to file a claim, There was no protection plan… they forgot to give me a receipt in store, luckily I had them email me an invoice but there’s no order number on the invoice I have so I am jumping through hoops to prove I paid for the protection plan! I tried to call the store and no one answered the phone each time I called. Furniture isn’t great quality either. Next time I need furniture I will not be returning to Ashley furniture in Fairfax.

We ordered a sectional and a dining table in November of 2021 and was told our products would arrive by March of 2022. Everytime we would call, we would be told a new time frame and finally our sectional was scheduled and arrived after paying separate shipping. I kept getting the run around on the delivery date for the dining table and kept getting told a few more weeks. We'll fast forward to June 2022 and I am still being told it could arrive at the end of June or sometime in July. I asked specifically if it will arrive in June or July and was told that they are unsure. At this point I requested a refund and will never purchase another item from this company. By far the worst furniture shopping experience I have ever had.

Ms Aicha greeted us at the door and asked what we were looking for. She led us to the recliners and was the perfect amount of attentive and aloof. Let us shop without being pushy but there to answer questions when we had them. Ashley furnace is the worst place to Buying furniture. They told you 6 to 8 week to get it but it took over a half a year and the customer service is terrible. The customer service told you the manager will call you but The manager will never call you. If you call back to speak to to the manager and they were told the manager is not there. If you try to cancel it then they would charge a feel I will never buy anything there again. And I had to cancel my order then they told me they gonna charge me to cancel. I will never buy anything from There and I recommend other people never shop there.

We were enthusiastic about purchasing a couch with Mr. Hasan’s assistance. We had our doubts with the price online and the price that was posted in person, and we wanted to match the deal. When we went to discuss this with Hasan about the information we had, the lady with him, Alena came out with an attitude and even said we were not serious about the couch, she asked to see the price online on my phone and then proceeded to throw the phone onto the table with no care once she was done. I do not find that very professional or respectful. The way she handled the confusion was very impolite, and not helpful to us. That took any excitement or interest on buying.

Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase furniture from this location, or any Ashley store for that matter. My family ordered furniture in October 2021, with an estimated delivery of mid December 2021. Two weeks before that time frame, the store contacted us to let us know that our entire bed set was discontinued (minus the nightstands that had already arrived), and that our dining set/sofa set would be delayed to late January 2022. Since that initial delay, they have been calling us regularly, roughly every 4 weeks to delay the shipment another 6-8 weeks, always "due to COVID shipping delays". It is now March of 2022 and we still do not have our furniture. We ended up purchasing our bed frame from another location and as a courtesy to our Fairfax salesman, who specifically requested this, did not cancel the nightstands/reorder them at the second location. Til this day, the Fairfax location is essentially holding our nightstands hostage until the rest of the order (the dining set/sofa arrive)- which, at this point seems to be never. I have called both the store and the corporate distribution center, and their only "solutions" are for us to pay an additional $80 for a split delivery of the nightstands only, or pay $45 to pick them up from the store unassembled. They are holding our nightstands as they are discontinued/unavailable from other locations and are quite literally trying to milk us for even more money than the $5k+ we already have paid (they are still estimating our delivery to be March 23, which is also "subject to further delay"). We have the bedframe and dresser, but no nightstands. We were initially so excited to furnish our home and the prices we negotiated upon purchase in Oct. 2020 were fair. However, this experience has been and still is a complete and total nightmare, and, to top it off corporate is no help either. Please save yourself the stress and frustration of dealing with Ashley.
Pushy sales person and the furniture seemed cheaply made
After buying my bedroom set on November 28, 2021, that is, dressed with a bed mirror and bedside tables and telling me 6 to 8 weeks, my bedroom set finally arrived on January 22, but there was a problem with my dresser according to the driver had a small scratch. Well, we went to see him before he was taken out of the truck, and guess what? the little scratch was a noticeable tear that was hard to miss. I told the driver that we wanted to return it and he told me that there is no problem but that he does not know when the new one will be delivered. and the best thing was that he said that the store went well but that they broke them when they checked it! shamelessly this driver told me this and still expected tip. Luckily I made him sign on his sheet that the chest of drawers was not left but was returned. That same day we called the store and they said that the report had not arrived. The next day, Monday, we called again and they told us that they had not received anything. On Friday we called again and the girl at the reception said that they had received the complete order delivered including the dresser, but that there is a note on the delivery sheet where there is a writing that says that the dresser was not delivered. We went to the store a week later, and talked to the saleswoman and the manager, where supposedly the manager was going to send an email because they didn't know why this was happening and that the manager would get a quicker response. . after another week they called us and said they had to order a new one and we would have to wait another 8 weeks. I can't believe this store works like this, unfortunately we paid for everything in full. My boyfriend and I moved in on the 1st of January, it's almost the end of February and we are still waiting and can't get our room ready due to worse than lousy customer service. no wonder they lose half their customers. is incredible. And the last straw is that in another place but from the same brand I bought my mattress, sofa and table. It doesn't sound fun, but I think I'll last a year without furniture. what disgusting service. If there were less than 0 of course I would give it

Horrible experience. These people are scammers and the only thing that matters to them is to rip you off. I got my furniture after 20 plus weeks even though they said it will take 8 to 12 weeks. No communication at all. Once I received it, one of the chair didn’t fit so I asked the delivery guy to take it back and he didn’t. Told me to call the store which I did but she said that I should have given to the delivery person but she told me that she will me tomorrow. She calls me at 2:30PM while I am out with the family and tells me that w have an hour to deliver the furniture otherwise the return won’t work. I called the corporate office on Saturday who told me that they will call me in 24 hours but they were off on Sunday. So never got a call but when I called on Monday, the lady apologized for not calling me and told me that I cannot return the item and I have to keep it. So they never called me and try ever scam art to make me keep the item. Horrible horrible and I have been buying from them for years but found out their real face in just a simple return
So 4 1/2 years ago i bought a couch from here. I bought the extended warranty that the sales person said would cover everything as long as there were "no paws, and no claws". My couch started falling apart about two years ago and I submitted a claim, which was denied. I recently found a broken bolt on the frame of the couch and submitted a claim, it too was denied. The warranty is not reliable. Not nearly as reliable as the sales people at Ashley claimed.
I am moving to the area from out of state and needed assistance ordering a bedroom set over the phone. Everyone that I worked with was amazing and super helpful! Whereas another local Ashley would not help me over the phone, the lovely people at Ashley in Fairfax made sure I was able to order what I needed and even made sure I received the best price! Would recommend, and I look forward to shopping here again.

In April 2021, I purchased a mattress and 2 accent chairs. I was told the mattress would arrive in 10 days, and the chairs would be 8-12 weeks. What they did not tell me was that they wouldn’t be delivering the mattress separately and I’d have to wait until the chairs were in for the delivery. (Which like, why even bother telling me the mattress would be in so fast if I couldn’t get it?) Thankfully, the actual delivery date was 8 weeks and that process was smooth. However, my customer service experience during that purchase was less than stellar. I felt like I was getting talked down to by the male sales rep and the male manager, and being discriminated against since I am a woman. If it hadn’t been for my father being there to talk, I wouldn’t have gotten the discounts I got. (I felt like the staff was ignoring me a bit in favor of my father.) Cut to this week, when I got a flyer in the mail advertising early Black Friday perks for VIP customers (whatever that means). I had been wanting a new couch, so I figured I’d take a look since the flyer said 60% off all furniture + free delivery (with a purchase minimum that wasn’t specified). I went to the store alone this time, with the intention of working with a female sales rep this time. The female rep and a male rep were the only ones working (according to them). When I tried to ask about the free delivery that was advertised on the flyer, the female rep got heated with me and insisted I was wrong and they’d never offer that and no furniture company would. (I understand there often needed to be a purchase minimum, but my frustration was with the flyer not saying what the minimum was.) After hearing what the price of the couch I was looking at would be + tax + delivery, I said I wanted to walk around the store and think about it because it was more than I had planned for. As the rep was walking away, I heard her say something to the male rep working about how I was being ridiculous (basically). I spoke up and tried to explain my frustration again, and the male rep started arguing with me. Even if I had absolutely loved the couch I was looking at, I wouldn’t have bought it after this experience. No one working at the time deserved the commission from my order. I took my business to a competitor store, got exactly the help I needed with a much better employee experience and paid the same price as I would have at Ashley for a new couch I actually LOVE, not just like. (With a much, much quicker delivery time.) I’ll never shop at Ashley (at least this location) again.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE!! My couch was sold to me by Deka, definitely will not be using this location in the future. The customer representative needs customer service training. I was not allowed to talk to the store manager until I explained why I was calling to that particular representative. Warranty is definitely a scam from this particular location. Go to the sterling location much better service. This is a terrible place of business save your money and go elsewhere. They clearly do not care about basic customer service. If I could return this couch I would.
Purchased a dresser and 2 nightstands in June 2021 with a delivery ETA of 8-12 weeks. The salesman and staff went out of their way to insist that the delivery could occur earlier, thereby deceptively increasing my confidence that the product would arrive in the desired time frame. It is now November 2021 (5 months) and I have not received the products, and there is no clear date when delivery will occur. Since August, I have called the store every few weeks, and I repeatedly get the same answer that the ETA is now 2 weeks. I am now looking at December with no end in sight. The store has refused to provide me a cancellation and refund. The store managers rarely call back upon request and force their staff to deal with the complaints, when they are clearly not equipped to do so. I am currently in the process of escalating to Corporate. Overall, I would highly recommend you shop elsewhere. The staff here is intentionally deceptive, lacks decent leadership, and is not customer centric. They are interested in selling product, while delivering the product is not a priority for them.
Do not buy from this store. We ordered furniture in June and were told we should get delivery late September. Well it’s almost November and we have to constantly call the store for a status update as they will not call me to give me an update even though they tell me every week they will call me…yet to happen. Part of our order is at a warehouse and part of not manufactured yet. The store will not deliver the portion sitting at their warehouse because they claim they need to have it delivered to another warehouse. This is their excuse for 2 months now. When I called to try to cancel the order they tell me they cannot tell me whether I can get a refund. So they have had my money since June and I have no furniture to show for it.

I like Ashley furniture but this location is the worst, very bad customer services and the manager elena very rude, my order got delayed 4 weeks past the due date of delivery but everytime we called them they keep pushing the date and argue with us to wait more without even apologizing and try to find a solution. But somehow our order was canceled after my 45- minute delivery notice. The furniture went missing. Ashley couldn’t track it down and chose to refund rather than deliver. Now we have to start over. Will never buy from Ashley again!
We got great deals with great customer service at this Fairfax Ashley. Manager and other staff took care of our need with great care. We highly recommend this shop for your furniture needs.
Not happy with furniture. All pieces came damaged with scratches. Customer service awful. Called several times and no response. Seems they sell used furniture.
It's hard to believe that Ashely is allowed to have large sales without being able to fulfill the orders. I'm on 14 weeks without receiving my furniture. Everything I call they say it will arrive that week. So from week 8- week 14 my couch was supposed to arrive, but not one delivery has come. This is an unethical sales tactic to allow for the store to stay afloat while playing the "blame the pandemic shortage". I tried to make a complaint to corporate, but their phone service is set up to direct you to the store. This is super frustrating.
Worst possible return experience ever! Bought a lounge chaise from this store and had to return cause it was not right for our space. They did not disclose the restocking fee or that it’s store credit only. And even if you find some items that they do not have in the store it will take 40000 visits to get any thing done.
I am only providing 3 stars not due to Ashley furniture however, it is due to the furniture delivery which is under Regency. The delivery service failed to deliver my furniture two separate times and the customer service representatives were extremely rude to me. I took a full day of PTO due to the 6 hour windows I was presented on both occasions of non-delivery. Ashley furniture ultimately refunded me the price of my items and delivery fees.
We purchased dinning set last Aug 2020. They delivered the table and 4chairs after 7months and we are still waiting forever for the remaining 2arm chairs to be available. Every time I call them no one answering then phone.

I tried to buy a couch on February 19. I was told 3 months. Today is May 30. I had to drive to the store because they don't answer the phone or email. So today the say the earliest eta is now June 15 or 25. No "sorry about that" no nothing. Only, we have no control over anything, and I'm short staffed so I can't answer the phone. If you want furniture it's probably best to go elswhere.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE. I ordered a couch in January with a 8-12 week GUARANTEE, it's the end of April and still no couch. Not one person from this store has contacted me to update me or let me know there has been a delay. Every time I call, I'm told call back and check in a couple of days and still nothing. I finally escalated this issue to the store manager, Malcom. Malcom told me he would call me on Friday with a status update. After receiving no call or status update on Friday, I called and I was told he was with a customer but he would call me back as soon as he was done, then no call. Same story on Saturday. On Sunday I went in to the store to find Malcom working the front door greeting guests. He agreed that he dropped the ball and his lack of professionalism & communication wasn't acceptable. He also told me the order should be in the next day, and regardless he'd give me a call on Monday. Monday comes and goes. No call. Tuesday, I call the store again, and Malcom is with another customer so I'm waiting for a call back. I asked for the number to the district manager, since the store manager can't be bothered to update his customers. I was told this is a Franchise location and the only number they have is the customer support with Ashley Furniture Corporate team. I called the customer support number, and all the could provide me with was an updated date to when they think the couch should be here. Now it's up to May 8th.....and I'm not holding my breath. The company has delays, I understand there is a pandemic. But I am getting the constant run around and can not get anyone in management to give me a call back. I paid $2500 for a couch that at this point, I wonder if I will ever see. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS.
Unbelievable. I ordered a bedroom set from this store. The first time delivery, the footboard was broken & the. Delivery guy suggested he would “fix it with a screw.” Returned it, and had to get the bed in a different color otherwise wait 8-12 weeks again. The second time delivery; they brought the wrong bed and now have to wait again. I would rather pay and extra couple of thousands than have to deal with this company ever again. Seriously, save yourself the agony of dealing with this store. No one nicer than a salesperson when they sell you, but what’s hidden is quite literally the worst f* company to exist/

So I've been sold $712.49 sofa for $800.00 by Juan Carlos. Two people that processed the payment at the checkout did not mention anything too. The paper I signed states they don't allow cash refunds, store credit only. Their phone number doesn't transfer to a person to talk to. I don't appreciate being lied and robbed like that.

We had a great experience working with Samir. We have a difficult layout in our living room and struggled to find the right sectional, and he found pictures to help us navigate our options and bring our idea to life. Due to covid we do have a longer than usual wait for the delivery, but that’s to be expected and they said they will keep us posted as they need to with any earlier delivery options.

I hadn’t heard back about my invoice in months but two weeks ago Kriss in customer service has been very diligent in keeping me updated. ETA is still long.
I was thinking about canceling my order after not hearing from them in weeks, but when I called to cancel Kriss was very helpful and promised to stay in touch. She has been updating me weekly since I called.
Saw an item online that I was interested in but it was out of stock, called the store and Kriss was very helpful in finding the item plus other similar items.
Came to the store to check on an update on my order, it seemed to have been pushed back weeks! but Kriss at the customer service desk promised she would keep us updated so we could make an informed decision on whether we wanted to wait or cancel. Purchased sofa, headboard, dresser, nightstand, and mirror on 8/26/2020. Was told 2/6 weeks for delivery. After ten weeks called and they said it “should” be arriving to their store in two more week. That would have been 12 weeks. Was given a full refund on 11/12/2020 and now am starting from square one again. People were friendly but I wouldn’t shop there if you need anything within three months.

I love my couch that I got from Ashley Furniture. The staff was very helpful and they had masks on which relieved me during this crazy time (of Covid). It took a few weeks longer to deliver, which is why I&'m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The delivery team was great. They were really fast setting up the couch. Overall I&'m very happy with my purchase.

I came ready to buy a dining set. I know which set and I know how much (online price). The salesperson could not give me one straight answer. One minute he gave me a lower price delivery included, then a minute later, delivery not included. A little later, another price and so on claiming that online purchase does not give the option of no delivery ($150 cost), which is not true. He continued to brag about how gave me a better deal and that is what matters. I was very uncomfortable with his sakes tactics. I left unhappy and uneasy. I bought it online for $350 Las than what he offered delivered.
If you want to buy furniture that looks like display or used furniture visit them. If you are fine with terrible after purchase customer care, this is the right place for you. They couldn&'t resolve issues in 3 months. Staff was helpful during the purchase but pumping the prices up and then claiming they have a 50% off is a hoax. They barely match with online prices.
8.25.2020-Update: This Store is absolute TRASH!!! After I left the below review they contacted me and told me they would be delivering a new chest since I am scheduled to move out of state in a week. They promised they would call me on Monday with a delivery window. Monday came and went and they didn&'t call. I just called customer service and after I explained the situation to &"John&" - (I was nice) - the call hung up. Imagine that. I would not spend a dime at this store. Keep your money! I can&'t believe that I serve my country and this is how I am treated. 8.21.2020-Previous Review: They were happy to take my $3k for bedroom furniture but when I reported an issue w a drawer within 48 hours of delivery - crickets. It&'s been 8 weeks and I&'m still waiting to hear from the store manager! This is NOT how you treat customers. Also-don&'t even bother calling because they NEVER answer the phone.
Ashley furniture is the worst furniture company. Warranty is no good either. We complained about our couch, they didn&'t do anything even so we bought a warranty with it. We have to fixed it ourselves. Inspector came and told us &"someone will come to see it if they can repair the damage and if not company will replace it.&" Nobody came, we have to call the warranty company to find out they will not do anything.&" We regretted buying from Ashley furniture and buying the warranty with it.

Nice, attentive employees but that's about it. Unfortunately this place just seems really run down. None of the styles on either floor appealed to us. A lot of furniture items looked cheap or from the 80s and yet were thousands of dollars. Also it just wasn't clean. For a random Wednesday night there was trash on the floor and several set pieces that were tossed about.

The dinning table had a dent and the chair cushions have no support-they were delivered with sagging cushions. I called corporate and they will not exchange it to a new product even when we paid for a new furniture. They will not even let you speak to a manager. I have never experienced this kind of service. "You get what you pay for" does not apply here because you are still paying too much for the worst quality!!

We figured we would be able to return this table seeing we only had it for a proximity 2 weeks when they returned our message to them. But to our dismay we were told it was not the manufacture flat that the table couldn't be used for a kitchen table and we should have bought a cover for it even though it has drop leafs. Sina, Lawrence, & Katie were an enormously helpful in assisting us in findthe perfect pieces to furnish our new apartment. They were extremely patient with our indecisiveness, and gently responded to all our questions & queries, particularly regarding cost-saving. We ended up furnishing almost our entire unit and couldn&'t be happier with the price we paid, the quality of our purchases & the awesome financing options they offered.Kudos to the entire team at Ashley&'s!Edit: updating this review several months later. Our VERY expensive sectional couch is broken in several areas, the cushions are coming apart, & the pillows have flattened. TERRIBLE quality, especially considering the price. To add insult to injury, Ashley&'s is asking us to transport the item to their warehouse on our own dime in order for it to be serviced, in spite of us having purchased an additional 5-year protection plan for situations such as this. To recap: we paid for our furniture, paid extra for a protection plan, had our expensive & LARGE sofa break down in months, & are being required to move this bulky piece to their warehouse in order to get what we paid for. The reps explanation: neither the breaks in the frame or the damaged pillows are a manufacturer defect, even though this piece wasn&'t used in any other way than what is normal i.e. merely sitting on it. I am careful not to use hyperbolic language, but I think it&'s appropriate here to say I hate this company. Stay far, far away. You&'d probably do better buying some wood, watching a few DIY YouTube videos, & making your own damn furniture. At least you can control construction materials. This is the last time I will ever shop with them.

Rather get COVID than deal with these people ever again..Been waiting 9 weeks for my sleeper sofa that they said would take 6 weeks and every week the date is pushed back. Everytime I call there is never an answer. Some days I&'ve called in the morning and in the evening with no answer at all, the phone just keeps ringing. There has to be some type of scam or weird operations running at the location. They seem to avoid all important questions and act like it&'s ok to be late on a customer&'s delivery date.I recommend if you are going to buy from Ashley Furniture that you STAY AWAY from this location AT ALL COST!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! We bought a kitchen table and literally in days water marks appear. You cannot put plates or glasses to eat on it! Really a kitchen table that I can&'t eat at. They said it is my fault. What. Seriously I had my last table for 10 years. And this one less than 14 days I have problems. They don&'t answer the phone either.
What a joke of a company. Cooperate is just a hidden scam, honestly I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing anything from this hell hole. We purchased a sofa for my mother for Mother&'s Day and we have YET to get the sofa issues resolved. It&'s been over a month and we&'ve been given the run around. I wish zero stars could be given but honestly Maria was the only saving grace of this whole situation. When we first received the sofa we purchased that was supposed to be new, it came looking completely used. Dirty scratched cup holders, dirty middle compartment, dented sofa cushions, strings sticking out. Clearly we weren&'t happy but the delivery team said we had to sign and that we had to deal with the issue through Ashley&'s furniture. We said fine. We called them and it took three weeks of back and forth to finally get it replaced. We think YAY this must be it, we have the brand new sofa we paid for finally right!? WRONG. The replacement sofa wasn&'t even LEVELED. It looked like the armless sofa part became shrunken and the cup holders were dirty agaiiinnnn and scratched. I ask myself hoooww in this day and age did the display sofa at the store look better than the one we got TWICE? It felt like a bad prank tbh or someone was not happy with me or my luck has ran out, SOMETHING. And I wish that was the worst part. No no my friends, sit down and grab your popcorn for the highest level of disrespect. The delivery team that brought in the sofa wanted us to sign again, but Ashley&'s furniture told us this time to NOT sign if we are not happy with the sofa. So that is what we proceeded to do. The delivery team tried to force our hand into signing and we kept our ground, we told them to even take it back but we are naahhhht signing. No sir. So they graciously call their tyrant who goes by the name of Jorge ( if anyone in the delivery team calls a Jorge do yourself a favor and send them backkkk). Jorge, is clearly a disgruntled employee who needs to feel some sense of superiority and validation. He was full of nothing but rudeness and lies. Like a bad ex boyfriends, and what do we do with bad ex bfs!? BLOCK EM. Jorge was another contender in the &"forcefully sign here&" team. We said we wouldn&'t sign as stated before and he huffed and puffed but blew no house down. He said he wouldn&'t take back the furniture because then we&'d have no leverage with Ashley&'s furniture. Like dude what? Turns out he told Ashley&'s cooperate team that WE refused to send back the sofa. So not cute Jorge. He said he&'d call Ashley himself and get the info they need. Him and his lil team spoke in secret and they started running away. I had to stand in front of the truck to get SOME kind of response. The team said their dictator Jorge told them to pack it up and leave I had to argue with them for 30 precious mins so they can call him back so I can understand what in the what was going on. Jorge started yelling and calling me ridiculous for not letting them go because they have a &"timeline&", my response was well sir I need the right sofa. He said he called a &"Malcolm&" whose a manager at Ashley&'s furniture and that they&'d reach out to us and that he said to him to write down that we refused to sign. I asked if he could also write that the reason we didn&'t sign was due to the issues with the sofa and not for no reason. He said no. We made sure his team took pictures so they have evidence. We called Maria who graciously forwarded our concern again to cooperate who were supposed to call but didnt. We called consecutively for three days until we finally got someone and now we are STILL WAITING FOR A REPLACEMENT. And if you notice they don&'t reply to any of the negative comments, they can&'t even ATTEMPT to assist or make up for their poor service. But holy hell will they send a thanks to every positive review.
Beware of Ashley and its so-called protection plans - Like many others, if I could give negative stars I would. I purchased a bed for my daughter along with the protection plan. My purchase experience was pleasant, although it seems now that I was mislead about the protection plan. Fast forward, the platform in my daughter’s bed collapsed (thankfully she wasn’t injured) so I called to file a claim. When I called the protection plan company, a representative (name unknown) told me that the defective issues weren’t covered by the plan and offered me the number of a repair company for me to pay out of pocket. I was told that the protection plan would only cover accidents such as stains, rips, etc., but would not cover the platform collapsing which I find ridiculous. Why would I need a protection plan for stains and rips for a wooden bed frame?? I called back to the store (Maria) and corporate (Jackie Smith) and was told that there is nothing that they could do other than give me a store credit for the protection plan amount that I paid after the 5 years runs out. The credit is useless to me because it does nothing to address that I am now in possession of a broken bed that Ashley and its protection plan company are refusing to fix. I don’t plan to give Ashley Furniture another dime of my money after all of this. What started out as a relatively good experience has been ruined. I don’t normally post reviews, but I hope this stops someone else from having the same awful experience that I am having right now.

Literally at month 12 the whole thing started caving in so I called to file a claim- long story short, it's been 6 months of chasing these thieves down. At first I kept getting "this isn't covered by the warranty" so clearly the salesman lied and now I've escalated to corporate and cannot get an answer, reply, etc. just save yourself headaches and go somewhere reputable. Never shop at Ashley Furniture HomeStore. We just moved to VA and purchased bedroom, living room and dining room sets there. Everything looked nice on the showroom floor however, the installation at our apartment was terrible. The furniture was not assembled very well at all, cabinet drawers don’t close correctly and they were missing key components of our dining table as well. Actually, it took them another week to finally get our dining room put together. We bought a $3000 mattress and it arrived with a hole in it. We were told to report the issue (which we did) and we never received a response...this is AFTER we purchased insurance with them. Still no answer from them and it’s been weeks. We wanted to upgrade our bedroom furniture (at our own expense) from Queen to King and they refused. What an awful experience, we purchases so many things and they stopped caring about us almost immediately after delivery. We still have more furniture that we need to purchase such as shelves, desks, entertainment center, etc but we will never go back there. The deceptive sales tactics are totally unnecessary. “Once in a year super-sale” but the very next week you find your furniture at steeper discount. Really juvenile marketing strategy that virtually ensures ZERO returning customers. Ashley Furniture HomeStore is a ridiculous, they don’t even take the Better Business Bureau seriously. It seems as though the only way to communicate with them is through your State’s Attorney General. I CANNOT believe these types of businesses still exist.

I have spent two days on the phone, on hold and multiple departments to deal with just to have them say - nothing we can do. we will send an email to the warehouse and see what they can do! I paid extra for premium delivery! They again put me on hold.......... The phone support team was not able to actually track anything!
Ashley has been amazing through our whole process of trying to figure out which direction we wanted to go with our new home. I was going to wait until the process was complete, but I have no idea how much longer that is going to take. My experience here wasn’t terrible, but it hasn’t been great either. The sales associates are polite, but they definitely do not have the level of customer service that other furniture stores have. They wipe their hands with you once you make a purchase. They will 100% sell you something that is out of stock, so make sure you know that, so when the delivery time turns into 4-6 weeks, you aren’t calling corporate. That is another thing I’d like to mention. Ashley does franchise, so the price you see online is the corporate price, and it will be different from the store. They were able to price match for me, so just ask. Come prepared with the online prices and sit down with one of the sales managers. They did refund me for one piece I decided I didn’t need after really looking at the space I was working with. That was pretty simple and painless. The buying process was easy and quick but the delivery has been a pain. I purchased my living room furniture from Haverty’s and their delivery and set up was painless and flawless. My sales person even called me a day or two after delivery to check on everything. Everything was well protected and their delivery team arrived within the times given. I don’t think Ashley has their own delivery service, so I think they hire outside companies, but I don’t know. The Ashley delivery team for my bedroom furniture was late by 15 minuets, after giving me a 4 hour window. The dresser and end table appeared to be unprotected in the back of the truck, which led me to have to send the end table back due to damages. I imagine the bed itself would have been damaged if it wasn’t in a box. Th delivery guy told me I’d get a call about getting a replacement. I didn’t. I had to call them. I called on a Friday, my delivery was on Monday. They told me they couldn’t do anything until the piece was scanned back into the warehouse, but that, that should be later in the day, and that they would call me back. I never received a call back. I had to call on Sunday. They told me once again that it hasn’t been scanned in. Moral of the story, my bedroom furniture (what I have of it) is beautiful and I love the overall look, but working with this store (I don’t want to blame the company) has been way more work than necessary, and once I complete this bedroom set, because I have to buy the chest of drawers still, I don’t think I will return. The hassle is just not worth it. I wish their system was better, because they have a lot of beautiful pieces. I hope this is helpful to anyone looking to buy from here.

I wish to have had the way to give zero. My furniture was delayed by 6 weeks and only response i receive is a future date. Never ever ever go to Ashley until you want to just wait for ever for the service and delivery. Not recommended.
furniture shopping is really not easy, but this ashleys location really changed my perspective! my family needed a bunch of new furniture for the house and i was looking to buy a new bed since im remodeling my room, so i was really picky and looking for some good furniture pieces at a good price. the team was so patient while searching through their options within my price range and specific layout/color i was looking for. im so happy with my selection and the price it was set at, the pieces will be shipped in a week or so and i'll upload pictures then but for now i HIGHLY recommend visiting this location and talking to Madhat, Katy, Nicole, or Lawrence if you need any help/have any questions! the upmost professionalism and genuineness showed by the team is the reason why my family ordered so much new furniture only from this specific store and location! like i said, they make furniture shopping easier and more affordable.
Completley unhelpful if you're a single man shopping for furniture. I got bored and decided to see how long it would take to be contacted by a staff member. Forty-five minutes later a staff member told me I couldn't order the furniture I wanted because all they had was a the floor models, and I'd have to rent my own truck and drive to Richmond to pick them up.

Went into Fairfax Ashley’s on Presidents Day just to Browse. My salesperson Samir greeted me while I was sitting on a sofa and my wife was looking around. I mentioned what we were here for and Samir politely said when we were ready to speak, he will be near. I was not ready to purchase a Sofa set at this time, but my wife located a unique set and the price was very reasonable. We ended up speaking further with Samir and Purchase the set. Our CSR person Georgia was also splendid and made our financial contract go very smoothly. Thank You, Samir & Georgia
My wife and I spent a good amount of money to buy a sofa for our basement from this location about a year and a half ago. After a few months of very light usage, we noticed a problem with the couch, but ignored it. In recent weeks we have noticed that the springs are not working correctly, and the couch now sags and rolls in weird places. I just called the store to ask if they could help me. He said they could not since I had not purchased extended protection. Obviously, we are incredibly disappointed in this sofa, and regret our decision to spend any money on Ashley furniture. We will never purchase Ashley furniture again.
If it were not for the fact that my daughter needed a bed at that moment I would have walked out. Since then I have cut my Ashley card and left it there and will never shop with them again. All they care about is making the highest commission they can. The salesman actually said they would not honor their military discount because it was already so low but if I bought the regular priced set they would. Disgraceful
***Save yourself the headache and go to a REAL Ashley furniture store. This is not one!***Unfortunately our experience has not been the best here from day 1 and I wish we cancelled our purchase after the first episode of fishy behavior. Around mid 2018 we went in to buy a couch and coffee table and there were signs that read 60% off all over the store. We had our eye on a ~$1000 couch and ~$600 coffee table which would come down to less than $700 after the discounts. The salesperson was an aggressive man who kept undermining us with rude comments because we weren&'t making our decision fast enough. Being that I am currently a grad student and we live off of my husbands income, obviously we want to be careful about what we buy and how much we spend (which requires taking time to make a decision). Unfortunately, he also made misogynistic &"jokes&" about &"how difficult women can be,&" expecting my husband to laugh along. Additionally, the salesman confirmed that everything was, in fact, 60% off including the items we were interested in. Once our total was calculated it was well over $1300. When we asked what&'s going on with his calculations he explained &"free delivery requires a $1000 minimum anyway so we might as well pay that amount because delivery charges would equate it to the same amount.&" We asked him to adjust back to what the price we were told each item would be. After some back and forth he called us &"difficult&" again and laughed. I had to call back after we left to have them adjust how much we were charged because I was tired of dealing with the salesman. Now I&'m terms of quality of the items and their warranty: I don&'t recommend buying the extended plan unless you have kids or a pet that can ruin the couch. The store salesman was a hard seller on their 5-year extended warranty plan, explaining that &"ANYTHING&" is covered. This included &"normal wear and tear just call them and they&'ll replace anything!&" This was not the case when I called to replaced the cushions. We noticed after only a year our couch springs were loosening and cushions were losing shape. We sink in to our couch as if this couch is over 10 years old. I called the extended warranty plan and this issue is not covered, only accidents such as tears, stains, or burns. I called The Fairfax Ashley back and the rep explained that since it has been over a year, their store no longer covers anything. I explained to the rep that the Ashely furniture website has a 5 year warranty listed online for couch springs. This is where it gets interesting--apparently this is an individually owned Ashley franchise store? So anything you purchase does not fall under the Ashley companies warranty as listed on their website. I had to call consumer affairs and file ANOTHER claim explaining what is going on with our couch and wait for a response on the product. The Fairfax store should mention their franchise rules and explain their lack of warranty because of their non-affiliation with the Ashley company. Sadly, it seems like we will have to get rid of this couch if the springs and cushion are not replaced. Additionally our coffee table came apart toward the middle but we were able to screw it back in place. All the back and forth is and was not worth it. Neither is the quality of the furniture. The sales team is just out to make the most money they can, they are fast talkers and aggressive sellers. I would steer away from this store.
Sina, Lawrence, & Katie were an enormously helpful in assisting us in finding the perfect pieces to furnish our new apartment. They were extremely patient with our indecisiveness, and gently responded to all our questions & queries, particularly regarding cost-saving. We ended up furnishing almost our entire unit and couldn't be happier with the price we paid, the quality of our purchases & the awesome financing options they offered. Kudos to the entire team at Ashley's!

Really great sales team! They had a great sale when I originally made a purchase on Christmas Eve. I had to send furniture back because it wouldn&'t fit and they honored the original sale when I picked out new pieces. The delivery team was top notch as well - very professional. Im very satisfied with my Ashley experience.
Don’t buy a warranty. I bought a warranty for $200 but they never cover or fix anything. I feel cheated.

First off I never leave reviews so for me to leave a bad review says a lot. Unfortunately my husband and I learned our lesson the hard way but I wanted to try to help others not make the same mistake we did. I would not recommend buying couches from here. We bought our couch brand new and I was very busy when we first moved in so we probably already had the couch for a month until I got the chance to sit down and relax on it. I came to find that the couch was actually hurting my back and had no give to it at all. I reasoned that maybe if we gave it a few months to break it in it might get more comfortable. The couch has remained just as uncomfortable so my husband and I went to see if there was anything Ashley could do to help us. We were willing to take the loss of paying the restocking fees and shipping if we could just exchange for a different style couch that would be more comfortable. We were originally told over the phone that this wouldn’t be a problem and we just needed to come to the store to arrange the exchange. However, when we got to the store the store manager basically laughed in our faces, was extremely rude and told us that after 24 hours of having the couch in our possession nothing could be done. Talk about basic customer service skills and standing behind your product. They obviously know that they are selling junk and don’t want there to be any way for you to get your money back. Also for the sake of the employees of this location I will say that everyone else who helped us with the sales process was extremely nice and professional except for the store manager. I have never seen such terrible customer service in my life. I hope this helps someone and I now know to always read store reviews before making a purchase.
The pricing is insanely inflated. I understand trying to turn a profit but we saw an item on their website for $200, in the store the tag listed it over $900. Little much. I don't think anyone took any time to even try to price correctly. Anything over a 100% markup is unreal.
I'm still in shock of how beautifully my transaction went no hustle and no random fees, what was said was what I got! Aisha was amazing and super helpful, I highly recommend you go to her for all of your furnishing needs! I'll also recommend my family and friends here too just because of how sweet and genuine she was! I recently purchased a sofa. The sofa arrived as scheduled and while it was not totally perfect it was acceptable. The sales person and the office manager were helpful. I think the price was reasonable. I would go back to this store.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. You will read many reviews like mine. We purchased a couch from this dishonest totally corrupt company. The couch was supposed to be new not a floor model a factory direct delivery. They delivered a refurbished couch with stains all over the cushions and pillows. We contacted the store and corporate immediately upon delivery as the delivery truck was driving off. They said they would not come back and get he couch and indicated we needed to file a claim. We filed a claim. Not surprisingly 2 days later they called and said they denied our claim and said they would not honor it because the stains and damage happened in the 5 minutes that we had the couch at our house. The couch is obviously used and this company will not do anything to rectify the situation. We in good faith tried to contact the company and we also tried to contact corporate and they would do nothing. The company has no honor and should be closed by the government for dishonest business practices.

From the time we bought the couch it has been a miserable experience. We noticed 3 cuts in our new couch later than the 72 hour policy they have on reporting damages and there is now nothing they can do for us, or so they say. it didn’t seem like they cared anyway. The contractors Ashley Furniture uses to deliver used box cutters on the plastic and cut the couch. My advice would be not to shop Ashley Furniture, or if you do make that mistake buy the warranty because the two people they find off the streets to deliver it will most likely do it again. Will not shop Ashley Furniture again.
If I could give no stars I would. We purchased a new couch, not the floor model, new from the warehouse. The instore experience was good but when they delivered the couch we either got a used coach or the floor model. The cushions and pillows have stains, crayon marks and pen marks all over them. We called the store as the delivery truck was driving away from our house. They indicated they really could do nothing expect log a ticket and have someone contact us in 5-7 business days. They suggested if that was not satisfactory to call Corporate. We called corporate and got the same run around. We can take your information and have someone contact you in 5-7 business days. No one willing to do anything. We paid for a new couch and got a used piece of furniture. I asked multiple times to the lady I spoke with at Corp to speak to a manager. She refused. i told her I would rent a truck and return the sofa she indicated the store would not accept it and they would not refund our money. Stay as far away from this store and this company as possible. We will never buy Ashley furniture again. I could have went to the thrift store if I wanted a used couch. See the pictures I posted. This is what it looked like on delivery. Huge stains crayon marks, pen marks!
If I could give negative stars, I would. From the beginning of the process, I have not only been VERY inconvenienced but almost to the point where I would like to speak to someone at corporate. We ordered a door buster table and our sales rep said it came in a the color we wanted so we proceeded. Our sales rep told us one price and took our card, then came back with the receipt that was for more than what he had sold us for. He didn’t even check to see if it was okay before he swiped the card!! So then I spoke with the manager and got the difference taken off. fast forward to delivery- it was not the correct color so we sent it back and I called to speak to the manager. They sold us on an item that didn’t even exist. He said that they would refund us the money but 2 weeks later, no refund. I called yesterday to see what was going on and they asked for my credit card number and told me they were going to call me back. No follow up so I called them and they told me that the manager issued the refund yesterday. Every single time I asked for a call from the manager because he is always with a customer, I have to call the very next day to ask to speak to him again. I get you’re busy, I work in sales/customer service too but when every person on your team is rude and incompetent, it makes me never want to shop there and write this review ten times over.

Mr. Hassan was very kind and very knowledgeable about showing us the lift chair that we were interested in. He encouraged my husband to try the chair out. We were very pleased and ordered one. It came on Monday and my husband already is doing better since he does not have to exert himself so much getting up. After having researched lift chairs for sometime we feel like we were treated well by Mr. Hassan and assistants and will definitely consider buying something else from Ashley sometime. The two guys who delivered the chair were very efficient and took all their mess with them. We called the company and poinformed them we were very impressed with the delivery guys and why. All in all we give 5 stars for every part of our experiences with Ashley. Thank you.
Worst customer service. The salesperson really need to learn not to judge the people from appearance. I bought the mattress from online and went in there to get the foundation since shipping charge was high. I asked how much was the price there. First he told me it was 180 and I said it is different online which was 110 (I didnt know the prices would differ that much) Then he changed it to 150 and start explaining we have a beautiful building we have to pay the rent and other stuffs.. he explained the same thing to me 5 times before showing the foundation. At the end he didnt even showed me exactly what I was looking for. Never going back to this place again.

I found what I want but was unimpressed with the staff. I needed to ask for a sales person. I was the only customer at the store. Did not seem savvy or excited for my business at all. Giving it 3 stars because I again received what I wanted but level of customer service would be a 1.
I came here looking for a recliner and found one I really liked. The sales person told me it would take about 6-8 weeks for delivery. I told them I needed it before thanksgiving which was about a month away. So they told me to go ahead and purchase the chair and to call back in a few days and if they couldn’t get it to me in time they would give me my money back. Well, I’m pleased to say that in about two weeks time they had the chair delivered to me way in advance and I couldn’t be happier! The sales person was super friendly. Natalie I think was her name. Very happy with my experience here!

But even more, their sales staff was extremely professional and helpful without ever making us feel pressured. Hasan was exactly the type of person you would want to work with. WORSE EXPERIENCE! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS ASHLEY FURNITURE IS A SCAM!!! We were exploring furniture for our new house, unfortunately I walked into this store; Gina, Lawrence, and Skep (District Manager) tricked me into buying all my furniture here. Everything delivered were of very bad quality an/or defective. I have requested so many times to get the furniture fixed. They keep telling me they will work on it but they never do. After calling customer service on many occasions; one lady was honest and told me that the only person issue a repair ticket is Ahmed (Customer Service Manager) and Ahmed doesn't never did. I went to the store again, Mohammad Reshad another manager accepted that my furniture should have been fixed and promised to send a technician. Never heard form him either. I even contacted Ashley corporate office and they stated that this particular store falls under Regency Furniture and owned by Abdul Ayad . Corporate stated they cannot of a help unless the store does. Everyone at this store is well trained trick into shopping and once you have issues, they will give you so much hard time to make give up. Don't waste your time and money here. Don't believe me? go ahead knock yourself out.
This is a mixed score because service and attention-wise I'd give them 5 stars in helping us find what we were interested in. Where I had a real problem was with pricing. I used to think that buying a car was squirrely but furniture these days is much worse. While in store our friendly helper showed us something on the computer that they didn't have in store. Then said, instead of $600 I can sell it for $300. WOW! Right? Wrong. There was only one picture so I checked their public website so see if there were other views and I find that their own website lists it for $180 down from $300. Bottom line, do homework, get in-store prices, politely leave, do homework again and then make your purchase. I will say that when I came back for the 14-day price guarantee they made the change without a fuss. So high marks for cleaning up afterwards. Though I'd prefer not to have to work that hard to get a fair price.

This is my 2nd terrible experience here and I'm 100% not going back again ever here again. Here's the chronological order of events: 1) My wife and I go in ~2pm to the store, mainly looking to browse dining tables. We are helped by a salesman named Samir. He informs us of a 50% sale going on that spilled over from Saturday into today (Sunday), together with no taxes or shipping charges. We didn't really like anything at the store so we leave the store letting them know we may be back if we like something we see online. Samir tells us he'll be able to give us a better deal than what we see online. 2) After reaching home and surfing online, we really liked this one dining table on Ashley's website. The price online, with delivery and taxes, comes up to about ~$1270. I give Samir a call to ask him what price can he offer us, and he offers a very vague response asking us to come back to the store. Upon pressing him, he says he'll definitely beat the price online. 3) We didn't really expect them to be able to offer us the same 50% discount, but we were prepared to buy it even if they offered to waive off the shipping charges and taxes. 4) We go back to the store, with check/cash/cards. Upon reaching the store, Samir tells us to wait while he and the manager, Lawrence Pan, check the online price. They kept us waiting for 15mins, and after that, come back to us saying "we will match the price", and "that's the best we can do". 5) I then asked him, then why shouldn't we just buy the product online if it's the same price to which they had no response. Lawrence then asked me what price I was expecting, to which I said "at least something better than the price online". Lawrence then replied with "No sorry sir, thank you for coming in" and just proceeded to turn the other way. Samir the sales person didn't even bother to look at us before leaving. I explained to them that Samir should've at least had the courtesy of doing this homework before enticing us to come back by saying he'll be able to "beat the online price", but it didn't seem like Lawrence or Samir had the decency to listen or respond to us. Both their attitudes just completely changed and became hostile. 6) Before we exited the store, I wanted to go back in to get the full names of both Lawrence and Samir so I could pass on the feedback to corporate. When I went to Samir, Lawrence started following me trying to intimidate me to leave the store. Worst experience in a store ever. Don't get cheated by these guys. They are very unprofessional and rude to their customers.

Definitely I do not recommend this store (especially this one). When someone buys something they act very nice to convince you, but the customer service is really terrible, they never answer you and will never care. I’ve been reporting about my damaged furniture for 9 months, it was really expensive and they never respond to me, the manager doesn’t care about calls and claims, until now the only response I get is that they are not responsible for any damage. Every time I call they say they will send somebody else to fix it and they never fix it also payed guarantee for 5 years and they say it doesn’t cover.
My review is based on my experience during the major Labor Day Sale at Ashley HomeStore. The store was busy, but certain employees made sure to greet me and the person I was with so that we knew the details of the sale and so that we would have a point of contact while we shopped. Deca, specifically, was very helpful but not pushy at all. I was looking for a couch/sofa to replace my loveseat and found several viable options. Deca made sure that I was finding things that I liked and, when I decided on one but needed the night to think it over, she told me that that was great and gave me her business card for when I returned the next day. She did not make me feel like I had to decide right then and there about the couch. Rather, she agreed that purchases like these--even during big sales--must be thought over. So, I went home, remeasured my living room, and eventually decided that I would go back the next day and order the couch. Upon my return, though, on the Monday of Labor Day, the store was even busier and, unfortunately, Deca had left early to handle a personal matter. So, I was taken over by a much pushier employee who was being pulled in 10 different directions and, therefore, had little time for me. In the end, I ordered the couch and it is slated to arrive in 2-6 weeks (yikes - but I get it). One thing I will mention is that I told the "pushier" employee that I wanted delivery because I live in a building without an elevator and she told me that was smart and it would all work out. Lo and behold, as soon as I swipe my debit card, the person I was with points out a sign that says they won't deliver to apartments above the 3rd floor when there isn't an elevator. Well, lucky for me, I am EXACTLY on the 3rd floor--but the employee didn't know that. I told her I didn't have an elevator and she didn't mention AT ALL their floor-related policy. Obviously, it's fine for me, but I would have been very angry if I wouldn't have been able to have delivery when I had just, in fact, paid for it. Overall, I am excited to receive my couch--for the price that I paid. 50% off for the Labor Day Sale made it worth it; I would not have paid the regular $1500 price tag + delivery. Now, let's hope my couch arrives without problems.
Purchased furniture here in the beginning of August, specifically a couch and an accent chair. I was told that it should only be a couple weeks max for them to get delivered. It is now one month later and I have been told "the earliest chance I have of getting the furniture is mid September but that date could get pushed back further." I payed for these items up front and no one from the store reached out to me once regarding any delays. I had to call repeatedly to get any sort of information after being told they would call me back with details and didn't. I will, and advise others to, never do business with this company in the future.
I have the Beachwood, OH, store to compare. At Beachwood the service was amazing, friendly and directed to my need. Left to look around freely. But here, I didn't feel I am free to explore.
1 star because 0 stars is not an option on Google. The store sells the furniture and treats you like a king. Once they get you to sign the purchase agreement and collect the money, the store doesn't care anymore. The warehouse is terrible in communicating the time frame for delivery. Then after placing the order OVER 1 MONTH in advance, we still didn't get $1,000 worth of items as was promised. Store says call the warehouse, warehouse says call the store. No one takes responsibility - and now I am stuck with pieces out of my bedroom set and living room set and cannot assemble my bed for at least another 2 weeks. Done doing business with them.

We went to Ashley furniture in Fairfax on Memorial's day (May 27th 2019) and we bought 2 beds (king and queen), 2 mattresses (king and queen), 2 box springs for king bed, 1 nightstand, and Sofa for our new house. The sale person promised us to give FREE ottoman and 3 sleeping pillows and they will ship everything together. We paid about $4,000 for everything. They delivered the furniture to our new house on June 29th. The queen bed and nightstand are wrong, different from we ordered. There was no ottoman and 3 pillows that the sale person promised us. So, we went back to the store on July 2nd and talked to the sale person he kind of angry with us and he said that everything was delivered but we show him the pictures of the items that we got. He agreed that he is going to call the warehouse and redeliver the queen bed, nightstand, ottoman, and 3 pillows. He said that the warehouse will call within 2 days. One-week past no one call so I text the sale person and he texted back and told us that he already called the warehouse and they should call us to schedule time and date to be deliver on Friday of that week. Two-week past no one call so I text the sale person again and he texted back and told us that the bed and ottoman were on back order and he will call me when they are available. We waited for 2 weeks but the sale person never calls us back. I called him and he said that the items were ready to be deliver and the warehouse will call me to schedule for deliver. . . AGAIN!!! A week past no one call. My wife and I were very upset, and we call the sale person again to tell him that no one call us, and we want everything by this week! He said he will make sure the bed, nightstand, ottoman, and pillows will be delivering by this week. He also texts me with the confirmation. Next day he texts me on the morning that everything was on the truck and will be deliver to our house today. On that evening, the sale person called us and told us that the truck broke down and they driver will have to go back to the warehouse!!! The sale person told us that they will call to reschedule for deliver again. FYI, the sale person always said, "everything will be ok, and he already take care of everything, don't worry" every time i called or texted him. Next day we called the sale person and want to know when they will come deliver our furniture and we were very angry because it has been almost 2 months. He told us that everything that they delivered us on the June 29th was correct, for the ottoman and pillows are not on in the receipt so we have to pay and buy them!!! He is a LIAR!!!! We went to the store next day talked to the store manager told him what's going on and showed text conversation between the sale person and us. He was shocked of what he heard and saw. He said that he will be talked to the sale person and get rid of him (I think he should do that). He said that he cannot give us the ottoman and pillows because they were not on the receipt and will send us new queen bed and nightstand. We were very upset and tired about the ottoman and pillows but at least we will get new queen bed and nightstand. He said to call him this past Monday to confirm the order. I called him on Monday, but he was out so I called him again on Tuesday. He said that he cannot exchange the queen bed and nightstand for us anymore because it almost 2 months seen they delivered the furniture. (WHAT!!) He told me I should tell the delivery guy when I notice the bed and nightstand were wrong. I told manager that I already talked to the guy, but he said that I will need to call the store, so I did call the sale person. The manger told me that I should call or come to the office and talk to him right away after we found out (WTH!!! How do I know I have to talk to the manager, normally you just go back and talk to the sale person) For the ottoman and pillows I have to buy them. We end up buying the bed box for the queen bed because the one that we have in our house now need to have bed box, but the one that we want does not need it. The manager gave us little discount just little cheaper than outside. PLEASE DO NOT GO AND BUY ANYTHING FROM THERE, YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED LIKE WE DID! We are very very very very very very unsatisfied with their services. Liar sale person, late deliver, and did not solve any issues even you talked to the manager. Save your money and don't buy furniture from this (or any) Ashley HomeStore. When my new bedroom furniture was delivered (which was considered their highest quality line, designed to last decades), the mirror was screwed in too tightly to the drawers. When I was moving a little over a year later, unscrewing the mirror caused the wood the crack completely around the screw. Ashley is refusing to pay for the damages since their manufacturer's warranty only lasts a year, despite this clearly being a fault of their design and delivery, both of which cost a good deal of money.

Salespersons are awesome. Great service. But really bad delivery timing. At the time of purchase they told me it will going to take maximum 3 week . Now after 3 week , they are saying 6 weeks. Its awful. No email or message for delay. I request authorities if they can advance the process of delivery. I should have gone to other place. I bought almost all the furniture but now I am stuck with nothing and paying it off alread . I feel so bad and deceived. I request if someone from the main office can help.

I wish I could give Ashley HomeStore -10 stars for selling me the wrong product, not making it right, and for terrible customer support. I bought a mattress and foundation at the store (instead of online, like all my friends told me to do) so I could try them out AND so the sales rep could ensure I was ordering the right things to fit the new bed I bought. I made the purchase and even called back the next day to make sure the foundation was the right size for my bed and wouldn&'t show. They ensured me it was. When they delivered the mattress and foundation, they left it leaning up against the wall. After they left, I put the foundation on my bed and it sticks out 4&" above the bed frame! When I put the mattress on, it was so high, I can hardly get in the bed and I&'m 5&'9&"! I went to the store the next morning to say I needed a low profile foundation but they sold me a standard foundation and they said &"too bad.&" They said &"well, it&'s a really high mattress&" and I said &"all the more reason to sell me the low-profile foundation.&" They said &"you should have refused the order,&" but I didn&'t know it was the wrong size until the delivery guys left. I called their customer support who said they would call me back. No one ever called me back. I had to call 4 different times. They won&'t exchange the foundations. They won&'t give me a refund. And now I&'ve spent $350 on 2 foundations that are the wrong size. To top it off, the sales rep Madhat was creepy. He followed me all over the store. Every time I laid down on a mattress to try it out, he would stand there and watch me. I even told Madhat to please leave and that I would find him when I was ready to purchase, but he kept following me around to watch me lie on different mattresses. I should have known then to RUN! My friends all told me to shop online, and next time I most definitely will.
My 1 Star review is based on two issues:* The first being delivery. When working with a retailer, it's reasonable to expect satisfactory service, especially in this case since delivery service is $160. However, when the delivery person came, he was noticeable rude and seemed to be in a rush. Instead of using the driveway when walking to the front door, he instead walked through the dirt and grass, and through our flowerbed. We try to keep a clean house, so I politely asked him to either remove his shoes or put on shoe covers when going to the 2nd floor, which was where the couch would be set up. His response was rudely and bluntly, "No, I'm not going to put it on." No compromise, no discussion, no other options around it. Very bluntly and rudely, "no." Seeing that I didn't have a choice, I let him have his way. When bringing in each piece of the couch (at least four times), they went through the grass/dirt, over our flower bed, and into our house EACH TIME. Once in our living room, they rushed to put it together and didn't even bother to ask if it's placed exactly where we liked. After they left, I still had to move the furniture myself so that it was oriented properly. To make matters worse, I've already tried to reach out to Ashley's TWICE to complain to them privately. Each time I was told someone would call me back to discuss the matter. I got zero phone calls. I'm not going to hound them down over this, but after dealing with their delivery service, I wasn't surprised that their customer care was unresponsive and unhelpful.* The second issue has to do with purchasing the furniture. Long story short, but the sales person who sold me the furniture misinformed me about how to pay for it. I ended up owing a leasing company $60 more than the original cost of the couch. Although they were able to rectify the issue, it took me two visits to go to the store directly, many follow up phone calls, and 2+ weeks before it got resolved.
I purchase a bunch of furniture at this store. One of the items is discontinued which I noticed after we got the delivery. And I had to call them for a refund twice and finally they did give me a refund but it was not the full amount and even they didn't count the sales tax. Their customer support is very poor and not convenient. Also I bought this for a 60 month without interest but their credit card company didn't know about this and I had to call the store and the bank twice each. I'm not going to call them for a correct amount refund because I don't want to waste my time. It was not a good experience with them at all. I would not recommend to anybody.

This is an unfortunate result of us having very high expectations of Ashley Fairfax, that were set by our first interactions, but haven't been met by the last. I would prefer to talk to someone before leaving the following on Google and Facebook, as you requested. My husband and I were ready to leave a glowing review of our experience at Ashley Furniture Fairfax. Our sales woman, Deka, was patient and helpful. The manager, Skip, was friendly and worked hard to get us a comparable price to a quote we were given by an Ashley store in Florida. The warehouse managers were helpful in scheduling our delivery (even if their system isn't ideal) and the men delivering the furniture were quick and considerate of our space. However, when they arrived to deliver our furniture we realized a wrong piece was ordered for us. We received a quick response from every level and all Ashley's personnel expressed how confusing the naming system was and how it was an easy mistake. Everyone [including the awesome Malcom] was so sorry for the mistake and we were told all we had to do was come in and "they would take care of us." However, this is where our positive experience ends. Instead of feeling taken care of, we left feeling taken advantage of. Unlike the rest of the staff, the manager on duty was not friendly. We were not greeted with a smile. When we explained what happened and that we negotiated a price for our furniture thinking we were getting specific pieces - he stated "I'd like to see that original quote" referring to the one received from the Florida store. When we explained we no longer had this, and when we did it was similar to what we were given by our sales woman (a bunch of numbers on a piece of printer paper), he insinuated that we were lying . When we explained that we had worked with another manager who helped us, would he be willing to call that manager - he said "no." He stated it was our fault for not knowing the proper name for the item and not double checking the invoice before finalizing. Even when we took some of the blame, acknowledging we could have done more to ensure the correct piece was ordered, no ownership of fault on the other side was taken. No apologies for the wrong piece being ordered. No thanking us for coming back in and understanding that this is taking more time out of our schedule to straighten out and schedule yet another delivery. No regrets that they couldn't give us the proper piece of furniture at no extra charge. No "taking care of" us. At the end of our interaction with the manager, we asked for the contact information to the original manager we worked with and were told "no." We were told the chain of command was to first contact the store. He ensured us that the message would be relayed and, if the other manager thought it appropriate, we'd be contacted. [This was 7/12/19] It's now been over a week and we haven't been contacted.
Staff at Fairfax Ashley uFurniture are amazing. Loved being their. Mr Lawrence, Rashad, Malcom and Mrs Aisha were stunning. they helped us all. it was a very good experience. I appreciate their time and hard work. They worked hard to make us satisfied and happy. I would definitely recommend this place. excellent customer service and very knowledgeable staff. The staff at Fairfax Ashley furniture location are amazing. I would like to thank each and everyone of them Mr Rashad, Mr Malcom, Mrs Aisha and Mr Lawrence. they were friendly, very helpful. Even though that day they were so busy they made sure that me and my husband are satisfied and gave us all the help we needed. I would like to thank Mr Lawrence in particular for the excellent customer service. He did all he can to help us get a good deal. they really made our day. If there was more than 5 STARS I would give it to them. I definitely recommend this place. from now on that will be the place i shop from for furniture. Thank you amazing team.

Service in the store was good and we received a good deal, but the people Ashley contract for delivery are awful. They wouldn't move the furniture unless I signed a form saying it was in good condition before I even took it out of the box, and tried to charge me more money when I had already paid the delivery fee. Great service in the store, but delivery service is abysmal.

Had a horrible experience at this Ashley's. It is very apparent that these guys are only there to get furniture out the door, with little to no regard for customer experience. I'll break down the experience in 4 simple areas: 1. Scam pricing - Ashley upcharges all their furniture in the store and then offers crazy "sales", but every single item is available on Amazon for 1/3 the cost it is in the store. 2. Horrible Delivery - The delivery experience was horrible, the people were super rude, and they had no respect for the house. They were wiping and dripping sweat all over the carpet and new furniture and ignored the towels we gave to them to stay clean. About 10-15 minutes after delivery, the man re-entered the house without knocking, because one of the guys forgot something! 3. Horrible Quality - All the sofa's are made of compressed wood particles, Ashley is very sneaky about letting people see what's underneath the upholstery. 4. Horrible Customer Experience - This store does not care at all about customer happiness. We wanted to return the couch we bought, because of quality issues and the lady at the store refused to allow a refund, when it clearly says on their website you can return it. I had to call the corporate office to get them to approve the return. Its shameful that the people at this store will lie directly to your face! I would be very careful buying from this place. The low reviews relative to all other furniture stores should be enough to tell their story.
I URGE YOU NOT TO PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AT ALL ESPECIALLY THE FAIRFAX LOCATION.This store is only getting 1 star because something is required to post a review, this is by far the WORST furniture purchase experience I have ever had. Price gouging and false advertising at best, online the price is SEVERAL hundred dollars cheaper and they do not price match to the online store, I contacted corporate and was informed they could do absolutely nothing for the price because every store is independently owned. Paperwork says you can cancel within a certain time frame but your furniture doesn't even get scheduled for delivery until almost two weeks after you've left the store and then they tell you 2-6 weeks before delivery, which you later find out that is because its not coming from Ashley. I was finally scheduled for delivery only to be able to get 2 of the 3 pieces of furniture that I had purchased because my couch had gotten torn during shipment, so my couch delivery would have to be rescheduled which wasn't until almost another 2 weeks later. The day of delivery I was asked to sign a waiver because the delivery guy was not comfortable taking my couch thru the doorway with a wall there, I refused to sign, the delivery guy did not want to bring my items up the stairs nor inside my condo without me signing the waiver, so pretty much if my stuff had gotten damaged due to their negligence, I could not hold them accountable. Even after speaking with their customer service and having them agree to bringing my couch upstairs and I would take it into my place myself, the delivery guy left and didn't bother saying another word. I have STILL been waiting on a call back from customer service, so today I decided to call them instead and was told my couch was taken back to the warehouse and in order to cancel, I would have to physically go to the store, which I cannot do at the moment because I am out of town on a business trip. I will keep pursuing this because the people are using so extremely unfair business practices and need to be exposed. I URGE YOU NOT TO PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AT ALL.

Went to store to order couch and TV stand. Salesperson pushy. . kept trying to steer me to the bedroom suits and said I also needed one of those. Very pushy about trying to get me to sign up for their credit card. I placed the order and left. Delivery was set up for my new apt. I told dispatcher i was moving that day and she said I would get a 30 min heads up from drivers for final directions then they would wait for 30 min and leave if no one was there. On day of delivery dispatch calls and says drivers are at my new place. I was already on my way there but said "what happened to the 30 min heads up?" She said that "wasnt guaranteed". I got to the apt but didnt see a delivery truck. I called dispatch and asked where they were. . she said "out front". Its a complex with more than one building that goes around 2 blocks. I called the front office and asked if they could see a truck as I went out to the sidewalk on my side of the building. One of the property managers met me around the side of my building and said she didnt see any on her walk around the corner. I then called dispatcher again and said we were outside looking and she informed me that the drivers just left. Even the property manager couldnt believe they left, as we were standing outside!! I told dispatch that not only did I not get the heads up call, they left before 30 min. She said "let's see. . they called you at 1139 and left at 1202". I said " right. . . clearly not 30 min. " She then proceeded to tell me that I would be charged 100. 00 re-scanning fee then couldnt schedule delivery until following week. I was beyond upset. I am 60 yr old with severe psoriatic arthritis, status post 4 hip surgeries. i walk with a limp so I cant walk fast, let alone run around the buildings outside. I told the dispatcher I was walking as fast as I could. My daughter (does not live near me) was equally upset. I had sold most of my furniture to get new for my new address so I didnt even have a kitchen table and chairs to sit on. I cannot get up and down from the floor so sitting on the floor for a week was not possible. After more than 3 hours on the phone my daughter was able to schedule weekend delivery and after talking to 5 different people was able to get the 100. 00 fee waived. I (and the property manager that was with me) am still stunned that the drivers left in less than the agreed upon time frame and knowing I was outside on a sidewalk yet refused to drive around the block to see the delivery door where we were waiting. I will never order from Ashley's again. . . I still need more furniture but it will be purchased elsewhere.

Awful experience. I made a purchase from Ashley Furniture and on May 16 two new furniture pieces (couches) were delivered to my home. The delivery person who installed the legs had difficulty with one of the legs and struggled with it for a while. Then it appeared they finished and turned the couch on its legs for use, cleaned up and left. I noticed the same leg had a screw hanging out, loose and dropping so I ran out the door and told them to come back and see the loose bolt. They came back and called the office and I talked to someone who said they will call me back to schedule someone to come over to repair or replace the furniture.But no one called back, so on Monday (May 20) I called back and they said someone will call me the same day. No one called. I called again (May 21) and talked to customer service and was told to send a picture to an email address.So I attached couple of pictures and you can see the screw/bolt hanging out, for a brand new piece of furniture! Someone called me back and scheduled a repair for tomorrow (May 31) which they say it was the &"earliest&". Today I called as a courtesy to confirm the time for tomorrow and to my surprise they said I am not even showing up on their schedule for tomorrow! And they want to &"schedule&" another time for June 6 or 7 or 12 or 14. Now how screwed up can this be that they don&'t even show me for tomorrow and think they can do &"better&" in June.I have no choice but to give them a bad review. I hope someone in Ashley who cares about their reputation call me and make a real appointment that they can keep.
Do not come here. The manager, named Janni, here was really rude. I asked if they would match online which they would (by the way online is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than in store) but they would charge the online delivery fee of $150 as opposed to their usual $69. On the bill, they literally added on the difference. Anyway, I tried to leave and said that I would come back - Janni rudely exclaimed that the offer was only good then. In fact, the day I purchased they said that they would likely call in 3 days to schedule delivery. Thank goodness I had talked to Lawrence day before because then he made the rude manager refund my $. In all, shop online and then go in the store to see if you like it. Go to the one in Bailey's Crossroads/Falls Church since it has much more variety and way friendlier customer service.
I had a most positive shopping and purchasing experience at Ashley Furniture Home Store in Fairfax, VA. It was my very first time in their store. Omar, the sales associate who greeted me at the store entrance and who also assisted me, was polite and knowledgeable, and he listened to what I said I was looking for that day. Omar took as much time as was needed to show me many sofas all throughout the store. I appreciated his patience with my many questions and also his expertise on their merchandise. I decided on the Blackwood sofa, and I am very much looking forward to it being delivered to my home soon. It was a pleasure to meet Rashad, one of the store managers. Rashad was very nice, and he answered my questions, and he also more importantly made sure I was comfortable with the total price of my sofa. The employees at the checkout service desk were friendly and helpful, and they too answered my questions. They were very time-efficient and transparent with what they were updating on our purchase and my roommate and I left the store with no lingering questions about our transactions at the store. Absolutely great, My wife and I purchased our furniture for our new home at this location. The sale person Sina was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. We had a hard time deciding between couple furniture and Sina answered all of our questions we had regarding the furniture that we trying to decide. I can definitely say that we had a great experience and we love our new furniture.
Ordered a beautiful bed frame from here. Told Tuesday delivery with no timeframe. My husband and I work and we have 3 kids. We never received a call, come to find out our numbers and emails were wrong. My husband spoke to the store manager who told him we would have to pay shipping and he was telling her he didn’t think it was fair. She spoke over him and cut him off and told him to come to the store and pay shipping then proceeded to hang up on him. I then called and spoke to her asking her why we were never given a time and how I’m not okay paying for shipping if they didn’t even leave the warehouse (which she told me they didn’t). I told her we would just like a refund and we would take our business elsewhere and she told us they would take 30% of our refund. I have called corporate and I am currently waiting to speak to him. Save your money, and time and do not purchase from the Fairfax Location. So unprofessional

After absolutely horrible customer service at the store, I had my furniture delivered and it was atrocious. On the bottom of my dining room table over a dozen staples were sticking out that easily could of either fallen out to be eaten by my new puppy, or something I could of injured myself on considering these staples were sticking an inch out of my table. The workers delivering the furniture barley said a dozen words to me and rushed through assembly leaving trash behind. The furniture itself is half decent for the price, but I cannot recommend this store due to the awful customer service and borderline hazardous delivery.
My first visit to the store we asked for assistance for the price of a certain configuration for a sectional, and after waiting 10-15 minutes no one had helped us. Later, we came back and after taking their sweet time, I was able to purchase a couch and dining set. However when discussing delivery time frames an employee told us, in front of MULTIPLE other employees, that they only scheduled delivery after 4:30 pm which my fiance and I thought was great due to working typical 9-5 jobs. A week later when we were contacted to schedule the delivery we were told that the delivery would happen between the hours of 11-3. Not after 4:30. After contacting the store about this we were told they had "no idea" why an employee would tell us that deliveries happen after 4:30 and that it was common knowledge that was not the protocol. So why did an employee tell us this, and none of the other employees he said that in front of correct him? Most people would understand how hard it is to take a day off of work at the last minute. Customer service here is absolutely awful.

This place is shady. I bought 2 pieces of furniture and a couple days later, I came back so they can do a price adjustment. Per the invoice, I'm allowed one Price match with their online store within 14 days.Instead of a price match, the manager assigned it as a discount, so I paid sales tax for the original higher amount. When I asked him to change the price and not apply it as a discount, he said "that's how we do it". I've worked in retail, and when you price match an item, sales tax also gets adjusted. I wonder how many other customers this store has scammed ??2 stars because I like my furniture.
First i would like to say the management is AWFUL at this location. As my wife and i went into Ashley furniture in Fairfax my wife and i were very upset and surprised. The manager on duty named Lawrence was extremely rude and nasty toward his entire staff especially to a young African American gentleman behind the desk. As my wife and i browsed around the store we experienced Lawrence being rude toward not only his staff but customers as well. This made us NOT want to buy and NEVER want to buy with Ashley in Fairfax due to the way the "manager" treats his employee's. Coming from someone who works retail(myself) that is not the way a "manager" should treat his staff or customers. If you enjoy being mistreated and witnessing a manager mistreat his staff. i suggest you go shop at Ashley in Fairfax.
The store does has some good deals for sofas of great variety but I guess the store managers are least interested in selling the stuff they have. The prices are really competitive as compared to other's in the market but then again, poor customer service and bad attitude towards customers daunts them to buy anything from them. We had been here a couple of times to finalize the furniture but I found the general manager of the store quite rude. He jumped in between the conversation with the representative and said "I would finalize the price since I am the manager and they cannot quote any price". The representative had fixed a bit lower price for the item we had finalized to purchase. He was rude even while talking to his representatives.

I went to this store for a mattress purchase and while there was sold a mattress protector for $60. I'm pretty sure you can get them elsewhere for much cheaper, but I thought purchasing it there would give me a higher quality product. It took about 5 days for my mattress to be delivered and it was of reasonable quality, but the mattress protector itself would not fit. It might fit thinner mattresses of comparable size, but it does not fit mine. When I tried to return it, I was informed by customer service both in-store and over the phone that I can not return or exchange a mattress protector once it has been opened or if it has been more than three days. Since I had not way of meeting either of those conditions, as I had to wait more than three days to get the mattress and of course had to open the mattress protector in order to try it on, it seems unreasonable that I am left with a $60 product that is now worthless to me, because this particular franchise has a very rigid customer return policy. Needless to say, I am sure that it will be very easy to find a much better business next time I am in need of furniture and I encourage others out there to read the fine print in the very least and possibly purchase elsewhere if possible.
After waiting over six weeks for our new furniture one of the items we received is the wrong item. We ordered a sleeper sofa and a chase which both came. The issue is that they did fit together to form a couch. We did not know this information until the evening when my husband came home and was able to move the furniture into the house and open it as the delivery people refused and said the furniture wouldn't fit through the door to the basement. We received a left handed piece and a right handed piece. No solution yet. Also the delivery people were rude and saying inappropriate things in Spanish about us. Not knowing that my husband speaks Spanish they were commenting that they told "these dumb mother fu#kers that the furniture will not fit. " My husband did then engage with them using Spanish so that they would understand that he knew what they said. This is our second set of furniture we have purchased from Ashely's so we do spend our money there but the service received on this set of furniture was very much some of the worst we've received and we will not be shopping at the Fairfax, Va store for the bedroom sets we need. We previously bought our furniture from the Ashley HomeStore in Falls Chruch, Va and had no issues at all we will return to the Falls Church store if we do engage with Ashley furniture in the future.

I didn't have a good experience with this store. We were in the process of buying love seat 4 weeks ago, one male employee (I forgot his name) was assisting us, but in the middle of the process, he abandoned us and went to different customer because he thought they would buy more expensive piece of furniture, hence a bigger commission. So unprofessional and unacceptable. At the end, a different employee assisted us with our purchase. I wanted to give 1 star but since the female employee was helpful to us, so to be fair, 3 stars is fair.
Don't waste your time. They give you a 4 hour window for delivery and then don't show up. I called the store and was told to either wait longer and we can't do anything else for you. Worthless customer service.

We discovered a beautiful upholstered bed on the Ashley Furniture website and went into this location to see if it was available as we didn't want to order it online. The team at this location gave us the lowest possible price, even lower than the $325 price online. Although the bed wasn't available in the store, judging by the reviews online we were confident with moving forward. After reading the reviews for this location, we were apprehensive on whether or not there would be a huge wait to receive our bed or if the delivery team would forget something. However after just 7 days, we received a call that our bed is in and it will be delivered on Monday. The delivery process was timely and the individuals were professional and set up the bed quickly. Overall this was a surprisingly quick and seamless process. The onsite team was also helped up and not too pushy while we took time to decide. Despite the negative reviews on the people, wait time and delivery process, I could honestly say this was a quick and positive experience for us. We are receiving a mattress soon from Ikea so once we have a few weeks to see how the overall bed feels, I can edit the review to ensure it's taking in consideration the actual quality and durability of the product, as well.

Deka instantly greeted us with her smile and bubbly personality and she helped my mom and I pick out everything. If you go here have Deka help you pick out what your looking for. This place is so welcoming and helpful and I got some terrific deals on what I bought including delivery!

The first sales guy z was nice but wouldn't give me his full name and when I was going to order online the computer required more than one letter. I went to another location and they wouldn't match the online price. I called up to ask his name and he just laughed, so I was like ok? Then I went back to this location and a really jerky conceited tall male sales guy kept bothering me so I was literally about to walk out but then the nice manager came and I ended up buying my sofa from him. The delivery time and people were great. The three problems are one the size is different then I was told. It is way bigger (which would be my fault if I didn't tell z I needed it 7 feet or less) but I agree I should have measured it myself. Second the main chaise and it was delivered today the cushion doesn't sit exactly right and lined up and their is a very weak piece of velcro holding it in place. Third I need to break it in more but for now it feels like it is plastic (not leather or fake leather?) and it pushes you forward. The cushions on the bottom are comfortable though and it's huge but looks nice. Also one of the bottom cushions doesn't have the stitching on it like the other one does. I will update this once I know how well the sofa holds up. My last one from Havertys lasted over 13 years and was in great condition. I only changed that one out because of comfort from the beginning but it was better quality.
I ended up at this location after having a horrible experience at the Falls Church store. The only reason I decided to give them another shot at the Fairfax store was because I was personally contacted by the Regional Manager who was courteous, professional, and truly service oriented. My experience was positive before I even arrived because I got lost and could not seem to find the store. I called and was given spot-on directions that got me there without a problem. Upon arrival, I was greeted in a friendly, but not aggressive manner. I went straight to the service desk because I'd been told by the Regional Manger to ask for Marwan or Lawrence. I got Marwan. He was friendly, helpful, but not pushy. Same experience upon checking out. The staff was cooperative, helpful and did everything they could to accommodate me. My only issue in the store was that I was directed straight to a particular mattress type (which I suspect is the store brand) as opposed to being shown all the available options. My only post-purchase issue was that the delivery experience was initially a nightmare (until again, the Regional Manager took the time to make things right). They had initially given me a delivery window, which was supposed to be confirmed the day before. On the day I was supposed to receive the confirmation, I literally received THREE DIFFERENT PHONE CALLS with THREE DIFFERENT DELIVERY WINDOWS, none of of which lined-up with what I'd been told originally. No one had any good answers for why this happened. No one seemed to care that they were unilaterally making changes that would impact the schedule I'd planned around to accommodate the delivery. Their only response to my issue was to offer to reschedule -- um, NO. I specifically scheduled delivery on a holiday Monday because I did NOT want to take off from work to sit around waiting for a delivery. In the end, after multiple calls and complaints on my part, I was able to get the delivery window rescheduled to the original time I'd been given and all was well. I love my mattress, which I purchased at a fair and reasonable price. While this store still needs to work on its service model and they definitely need to overhaul their delivery process, all-in-all, it's still a fine place to shop. Just stay away from the Falls Church location!
Aicha, Jayda, Lawrence and Maria were great! They were very helpful, attentive and answered questions that I had regarding the furniture that I was interested in purchasing. I was going back and forth between a sectional at Ashley’s and one at value city. I ended up purchasing the sectional at Ashley because of the over the top customer service! Furniture stores should learn to ease up on the pressure and hawk- like employees. The manager here was bashing the online Ashley site claiming he can give us a better deal. They didn't even have the sofa we wanted to see in stock and said you can't see it anywhere and if we ordered online it's not returnable. Seemed like BS to us... the furniture style is also a bit outdated.

I had ordered two pieces of furniture the first week of January and they promised it would take 4 to 6 weeks. One piece of furniture came in at the 2 week mark but I have yet to receive the other piece of furniture. I have called numerous times and they say we will try and get it to you sooner and would call me back. They have two different time predictions in the system and I would never hear back from them until I called again. They finally offered me a $100 gift card which I have yet to receive that or the table I ordered. If i knew it would take this long I would have 100% gotten a table some where else. The faculty working there was nice but horrible customer service. I am extremely disappointed and here it is almost March and I still don't have a table. Be aware when buying furniture from there.
Only leaving one star just to leave a review. I bought furniture on 2/10/2019. Number 8 on the sales receipt says the following. Price Matching : If within 14 days of your purchase Ashely Furniture Homestore offers the same item you purchased for less, you are entitled to a refund or store credit. 12 days later I saw the bed that I paid $249 for online for $195. I went to the store to get the price matching honored. I was told at the store that they have to factor in delivery cost from the online order. I got upset because the statement on the sales receipt clearly says ITEM not item plus delivery. I was told the store manager would call me the next day. Of course he didn't call I had to call him. He said the same thing that the sales manager said about factoring in the delivery. I tried to explain to him that the sales receipt says item not item plus delivery. He wasn't hearing it and even asked me rudely if I wanted to cancel the furniture order. The furniture that I had for over a week. I told him no thanks and that I keep my furniture. Ashley Furniture Homestore if you put something on the sales receipt it should not be hard to have that honored. You might as well take it off because clearly you dont do item price matching. I purchased furniture in September 2018 and it was delivered in October and it broke in December and they are refusing to fix it stating that it was my fault. I don't think so they sold me some shitty furniture. I wish I can give them no stars but I don't have that option; I'm so disappointed with them. The staff was so helpful and attentive to our needs! The saleswoman Aisha helped us at this location and was very patient when we kept changing our minds. Also, she showed us many options for what we were looking for and introduced other design ideas to help with the aesthetic we wanted. Very kind staff and a wide variety of modern furniture.

Majority of the sales people were very nice. I visited 2 days in a row and made a purchase on the second day. I was annoyed that the female sales associate kept on trying to talk to me as I was busy having a in depth conversation on my phone. You could clearly see me on the phone. Rod was my sales associate and he was very nice and comical. Waiting on delivery and I will update once I receive the delivery.
I was very well attended by the salesman that went way and beyond to help me choose my furniture, being available when needed but at the same time giving me the space I needed as well. Everyone was nice and helpful! Once I made the purchase I was notified after a couple of weeks that my furniture was on its way! Once my furniture arrived, the delivery team was extremely nice and helped place the furniture as I wanted it, picked all the trash and left in an orderly matter!
I had an amazing experience here! Everyone was patient and answered my many, many questions, which is always appreciated. They also listened to what I was looking for and found pieces that worked with my specs and budget. I highly recommend them! Although everyone was super helpful and responsive, I worked with most with Kate (I hope I got her name right--apologies if I didn't!). She was friendly and convincing without overselling. edit: They were also super communicative and helpful re: delivery--my grandma accepted it for me and was very happy with the experience. The delivery window was about four hours, which is a bit wide but also standard these days. It's worth noting that I live really close to this location, so that may have affected the delivery efficiency, etc. I'd still recommend this location to friends and family in the area.

Ashley Furniture's Rep (Fairfax) told me to contact GBS and they will send someone to repairs. I CALLED THEM A COUPLES TIMES BUT WOULD STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL - That's how you know what a JUNK insurance it is. Finally after a week of trying, MEGAN (GBS Customer Care Rep) picked up and after explaining the issue, she asked me to send the Ashley's Receipt via email. It's been 2 years and few months since I sent that email and never got a response. Still waiting, may be someone will attend to it and respond back. AND THEN COMES THE FURNITURE QUALITY PART After that Incident I knew there is no point expecting a repair or a return. 1. Couch: Owensbe 2-Piece Sectional with Chaise ITEM# - APK-75104-L2 (Picture) Price (without Tax): $910 as of 8/5/2016 In less than a year this counch became a BEAN BAG. Lost all it's firmness and literally threw it when I moved out of my apartment. ***NOW BOUGHT FROM MACY's - SAME PRICE WAYYY BETTER QUALITY*** 2. Queen Mattress(Firm - I believe that's what I got unless it was shipped wrong): Can't Find on their Website Price (without Tax): $660 as of 8/5/2016 WORST MATTRESS EVER. You will wake up with a shoulder injury or back pain. For the first few months it was fine, but then I would wake up tired and would be running late for work every single day. N then within a year it lost its firmness. Recently I went to Ashley Furniture in Fairfax again just to make sure GBS is still their Insurance provider so I file an formal complaint.
We set out to look for furniture and decided to stop at Ashley. We have never been and thought we should check it out. Nicole, our salesperson, was attentive without being overbearing. She was helpful (measured couches and tables as needed) and knowledgeable about the sofas and coffee tables we were looking at. I liked that she wasn't afraid to get on the floor to look at table legs and she literally whipped out a measuring tape to help measure a sofa to see if it would fit in our living room. She didn't pressure us into a sale and let us make the decision that was right for us. Thanks Nicole!
My wife and I were ready to replace our living room furniture, and were fortunate to make Ashley Furniture in Fairfax our first stop in the search. Nicole was the right balance of letting us browse the furniture on our own while also being available to answer questions as we browsed. We found a couch/love seat/recliner set that we really liked - but it was a bit more than we planned for this purchase, so Lawrence worked with us on all the options. He applied all the available discounts (even some we weren't previously aware of) and then covered all the financing, payments, and specials available at this time of year - and still gave us time to go home to confirm measurements. Both Nicole and Lawrence worked really hard to get us the BEST POSSIBLE DEAL on the exact furniture set we picked. We will definitely be going back to Ashley Furniture in Fairfax for our future furniture purchases. We already went back once to pick out a new entertainment center for that same living room.

From the moment that I entered the establishment Aicha and Lawrence were very attentive to my wants and needs. If you're looking for great furniture and great customer service, I reccomend that you visit this location and ask for either Aicha or Lawrence to have all your needs met!

UPDATE: The customer service experience that doesn't improve. The wonderful sectional in this review is barely used. It is placed in the Sunroom and the armless chair section only gets used occasionally when I have company. So over the last 15 months, maybe it's been sat on less then 5-10 times. Well, at the beginning of the month, 2 of the springs popped through. I went into the store that day. I was told by the store manager it is out of warranty and there was likely nothing they could do. After some insistence on addressing the issue, he suggested I submit an email with photos. I did just that later in the evening. I received a phone call from the store the following day stating I would hear from someone in 25-48 hours - I have heard nothing. I sent a follow up email 1 week from the initial email - no response. Today, I have submitted an email to Ashley Corporate Headquarters - as I believe the company is better than this local store at following through with what is right!
Work experience ever! I paid Ashley Furniture to delivery my furniture they in return they hired a contractor to come out to deliver the furniture and they damage my walls and are refusing to repair the damages. It has been a month that I have been fighting with them and they keep referring me to the contractor who will not return my phone calls. The warehouse suggested that I take legal actions however they will not provide me with the contractors information to pursue legal actions. I only have a phone number for the contractor which now he just transfers me to voicemail. The warehouse ( Mid Atlantic Warehouse) states they are not liable since the contractors did the damages, however I feel that they hired the contractor without my knowledge and so they should be liable. I assumed when the drivers arrived to my home they actually worked for Ashley's Furniture. It's very unfortunate cause i really love my furniture and there are additional pieces to my bedroom set that i wanted to purchase but I will not give them another dime of my money or refer them to any of my friends. Ashley's customer service is not helpful, keeps telling me I need to speak with the warehouse. Then the warehouse is so unprofessional and liars. I have spoken with Tiffany Schultz who is supposed to be the Delivery Dispatch Manager, she is by far the most unprofessional and phony manager that I have ever spoke with. She has twisted the whole situation around that she actually stated that she has a recording of my fiance voice telling driver not to worry about the damages cause he would take care of them. That is a total a lie! Matter of fact the driver beg us not to report the damages cause he would get in trouble and would have to pay for the damages out of his own pocket. Mid Atlantic Warehouse is a bunch of Con Artists!

Staff on the floor in the store are nice and helpful, BUT i advise NO ONE to buy ANY THING from Ashley Furniture in general they simply don't deliver on time! and i'm not talking about a couple of days delay i am talking WEEKS i have purchased a living room set and a coffee table in November 23rd 2018 and now we are evening of January 8th 2019 {47 days} /{7 weeks } and i'v not received anything, i do not even know or anyone in their stores, or customer service know when they will be able to deliver my stuff!!!. they don't reply to emails also. Simply Horrible experience
Beware of their pricing! Check online before you go because they will charge you more than their own website. When I contacted them, they said they wouldn’t match their own website pricing! Not a very good way to ensure repeat business. Also not a good way to ensure the experience isn’t shared with others. Don’t bother emailing customer service (as the person who replies to the reviews states) or calling them either (nobody will answer as I can attest to after waiting for over 30 mins to speak to someone before just hanging up). If you’re lucky enough to get a reply or have someone answer the phone, they will only leave you more frustrated and with a still unresolved issue. Lesson learned the unfortunate way.
I have purchased living room items from this store(fairfax store) during the black Friday 17th November 2018 and untill today 1st. Jan 2019 i have recieved Nothing!! This is the worst expierence ever for me buying anything from any store or online. It doesn't not really help when you are nice in store and you deliver nothing to your clients.
Purchased a bedroom set - received 3.5 months after purchase. I was told initially I would receive it in 3 weeks. Then after multiple calls and several backtracks - received finally. However, both the sales person (Shandy) and the CSR (James) were very helpful and courteous. No issues with customer service, just they need to sort out their delivery estimates!
